*FINALS Dark Tournament Final Stadium*

*Lord Cameron VS Edward Queensborough*

User Image

Arena Specs The arena sits below ground level in the middle of a 300-foot diameter pit, the stone arena itself spanning 100 feet in diameter located in the exact center. The floor of the arena is sprinkled with just enough sand to cover up the stones beneath, but not enough to be significantly detrimental to footing or traction. Demonic-looking gates at the northern and southern end lead into the arena, through which contenders will enter upon being summoned from their quarters in order to compete in the designated match. The platform is risen approximately four feet off the ground. The new stadium is demonic in construction and theme, and has separated the elements from the arena by way of the dome ceiling. Tiered stands are lined along the walls, allowing up to five times as many spectators to be seated among them, all eager for blood. A bright LCD screen is mounted on the western wall, there to catch close-ups of the brutality for all to see.

Weather Conditions and Bonus Effects Due to the dome ceiling rather than the previous open stadium, weather effects are not applicable for the semifinals. Seeing as tickets are extremely hard to come by without paying nearly an arm and a leg, all the demons in the stands aren't going to leave without getting their money's worth of carnage! An in-ring announcer stands at the ready to begin the proceedings, and a box announcer is seated with the spectators. Will all around get the blood they came to see spilt? To whom will it belong?

Who will win? And who will walk out alive?

Koto leaned over her desk in the stands with an unmistakable anticipation, clutching the short stand of her microphone in her hand. "Here we go, people! Our last two fighters are getting ready to face-off!" the fox demon cried, her enthusiasm emulated in her voice as it rang out to the entire stadium, "And lookout, everybody! I have a feeling this is gonna be a messy one!"

User Image

"Fighting for Team Kami is Lord Cameron!" Koto shouted, hardly able to contain herself from her box seat in the stands. She dearly wished she could be in the arena for the oncoming battle. **"The last and only previous time we witnessed Cameron fight was in the very first round! We didn't see much of the potential of the dark thief's firepower, due to his battle being shortened by disqualification of the opposing team. Hopefully this one will last long enough for us to hear some of those horrendous screams and breaking bones I love so dearly!"**

User Image

"And it looks like Edward Queensborough of the Dream Team is going to take up this challenge!" Koto cheered, bustling with enthusiasm. The crowd cheered and changed, pumping their fists in the air and stomping their feet in fanatical jeers. **"Edward has taken this second chance to play for the Dream Team by storm! Don't get this cyborg riled up, or he'll send you for a first class ride on his metal fist! No wonder he was everybody's favorite! The arena's going to be drenched in blood by the time we're done!"**

3II_Juri_II

"Ahem!" Juri coughed into her mic to quiet the crowd. As the various noise and banter settled, the announcer started again. "Both fighters, please approach the center of the ring!"

User Image

Allowing the two to come within appropriate distance, the fish-demon looked between both competitors. Juri's hand swept out to her side, presenting the combatant. **"In the final round... For Team Kami-- Lord Cameron!"**

Shifting her weight and transferring her arm to the other side, she then introduced the opponent with the same enthusiasm. **"And for the Dream Team-- Edward Queensborough!"**

The crowd went wild all around them, the entire stadium seeming as if it was spinning in noise around the arena at the very center. It all came down to these two. Only one would win...

User Image

"Are you two ready?" Juri asked, gaining last confirmation from both fighters.

4II_Juri_II

User Image

The announcer was beginning to look a little flustered. Juri stood alone in the center of the ring, yet no one came to her requests. The demons in the stands were beginning to rile up again, proving to be less and less under control. If someone didn't get up here soon and give them the fight they'd been waiting for, there may very well be a riot in the stands.

User Image

**"Can we get on with it here?" Juri asked, looking to either side to press the teams with a stare. "If you can't get into the ring and start the match, we'll have to forfeit and that's not good!"**she said with a determined tone, almost growling in disappointment.

5Lord Cameron

Over the crowds boos of dissatisfaction, a bloody death scream could be heard echoing from the entrance way. A few seconds later, a thud, clashing of metal and then

PURHEWWWWW

A stream of blackflame exploded from the Kami entrance doors, and out from it a black, orange, and red blur shot out like a bullet, skipping off the ground ricocheting perfectly onto the ring with many mid air twists. Miraculously coming to a stop on his feet. There was Cameron, standing in the ring not to far off from Juri.

Surrounded by a booing crowd and angry Judges, Cameron seemed oblivious to it all. As his first attentions came to the small sack in his hand, what looked, and sounded like a coin purse.

The scarfed thief would bring the sack to his ears and give it alittle shake, grinning to himself satisfied with the lush rustle of gold inside. His expert ability determining the amount of money before even opening it. Then it would dawn on him where he was.

With a raised eye brow Cameron examined his surroundings, looking up to the crowd first, then to Juri. He sheepishly made an about face to the fish girl then hid the sack behind his back.

“Uh heha, sorry about that, uhh delay some soiled guy named Alian I--- errr he TRIED to rob ME while I was going to the bathroom.” He said with a slight bow, gee what luck.

Edward steps onto the arena and sizes his opponent up. "******** you."

Juri stood between both competitors, having gathered that the two of them were finally than ready to strut their stuff and begin the main event.

"About time!" the announcer pouted, grimacing slightly. However, in favor of moving things along, she pushed aside her distaste and held her mic up to her aqua-painted lips.

"Alright, everybody! For the final round, Cameron versus Edward!" she announced, as the demons packed into the rows and rows on tiers and tiers of stands began to roar loudly, cheering on their favorite fighters. After a few moments, as Juri would raise her arm above her head, they soon quieted.

"Ready? Get set..." Juri hummed, then promptly swung her arm down.

Great. Apparently, his opponent was an Oscar Wilde reading, acrobatics enthusiast, flamboyant scarf wearing homo. Considering the black flames inherent in his opponent's entrance; Edward determined that the demon Cameron had a - cue the gay voice - "flaming clue." Not that it mattered. Edward was totally open-minded, but he needed some material in case the trash talk commenced. In which case, the cyborg had golden insults like "gay," or "f*****t," or if all else failed "apple tree banana sucker."

Edward removed his hands from the pockets of his zip-up hoodie, brandishing his fists at Cameron. It was incredibly awkward and was the least bit menacing and/or intimidating. Most likely due to his face rocking an angry face that was obviously put on. "Rawr," he playfully added just as Juri called for the start of the match.

Ed was off. He didn't run, or jog for that matter, but he moved in a steady and controlled pace. Closing the distance in a matter of seconds, he twisted his hips appropriately and threw his right - from an orthodox stance - in a straight-right punch for Cameron's face.

9Captain Vord

~ Post 1, the groove thing at the bottom is just a representation of how much energy I have binded for my flame attacks. Also, in case you're retarded, this is Lord Cameron. ~

As the robot made his comparably slow approach, Cameron dropped into his open palmed battle stance. Bobbing and weaving with a confident half smile. A single eye brow raised at his opponents angry face.

Woosh-woosh

Camerons scarf danced around him as he weaved but he wouldn’t move any closer to his opponent, letting the robo take his time. Merely confidently watching Edward advance.

It wasn’t too hard to surmise why Edward approached this way. What silliness to try and pull a trick on a trickster. His prosthetic arms weren’t much of a secret, nor was having a swiss army knife body as a robot. Surprises were bound to exist. Edward would have been better off starting with an all out charge.

Right before the cybrog took his swing Cameron let slip a taunt.

“Oh common Edward, you’re no magician” He said with what Edward surely considered a “gay” voice.

And WOOSH

Cameron weaved swiftly under Edwards right arm and positioned himself to the robots right flank. Taking a few energetic skips out to re-arrange his balance, then with all his momentum and strength shot inwards back towards Edward for his own counter attack.

A single opened palm trust to Edwards face with his left hand with all the whimsical floppery theatrics expected of the thief. Leaving his right arm extended at his side for defense. His tactics were to simply out maneuver the lethargic robot.

It sounded like a gay voice. Edward wasn't very happy. Grr...

Streetlight Manifesto - We will fall together

His cross struck air as Cameron went under the blow, his 'swooshing' scarf being the only thing telling the cyborg where this tricky meta went. Sucking in his breath, Edward flexed his muscles in an attempt to adsorb the body blow that would surely come. It didn't and it didn't take Ed very long to follow his opponent's flamboyant scarf as Cameron moved away to regain his footing. If his opponent couldn't regain his footing immediately after his fist-dodging slips, then Cameron was going to find himself a prepared and constantly in motion Edward at every turn.

The cyborg turned to face his opponent just after Cameron came with the super palm strike of forever. Ready, willing, and prepared to fight. Footwork impressive, but not as quick or as flashy and impressive as his opponents. Though, it was enough to keep Ed in the game. The difference between the two -other than one being faster than the other- was that Ed did exactly what he needed to without straining himself while Cameron was prone to over-commit in his actions. Cam's choice of counter-attack being a perfect example of such.

Ed with the creepy guy from The Rave Club in mind, and the fact that Cameron's attack was too quick to now dodge, went straight into the fight. Right hand leading. The cyborg moved the hand forward and inward while moving his head to the outside; aligning both the right arm and head. A basic countermeasure against any attack, putting s**t in the way sometimes does the trick. Though, that wasn't safe enough for the cyborg.

The right hand opened in a ramp-like shape, as aforementioned would move forward and inward, in the direction of the side of Cam's elbow. Moving the hand to about the center of his own nose, the tap to the attacking arm would most likely redirect the palm strike about an inch to the inside. Creating a terrible fault in Cameron's trajectory.

Now with Cameron using all of his momentum in the attack, and Edward using maneuvers that asked for very little commitment (keeping his hands up and ready for many more strikes). The Meta, in all of it's cocky glory, was put in a very difficult position. The speed and finesse (inherent in the thief) which was once thought as an advantage was now being used against him.

With all of his momentum going in one direction, Cameron wasn't moving anywhere on a dime. Especially as Edward's back leg, the right one, snapped forward swift as ******. It would move to the right side of his left leg in an upwards arc, basically in between Cam's legs. His awesome cybernetic leg aiming to hit Cameron right in the dk and cause all sorts of ******** up problems for the demon.

Was it worth mentioning that cybernetic limbs hit hard?

~3~

The thief, who was 100% human wouldn’t stop his forward momentum, even with the incoming swift kick. He wouldn’t even try to correct his displaced trajectory, instead fully and enthusiastically flowing with it.

The fact was he was going to be kicked the thief couldn’t avoid it. You could say this was going to be the first attack to land on Cameron this entire tournament. If one was to land sooner, Noata might have known what to expect, but since one didn’t….

Camerson defense against the ball splitting kick was simple; he would roll his body over, go limp, and allow himself to fall over while going forward at the same time. If one was an expert in such things, they would notice the tact something reminiscent of Ukemi; art of falling techniques. So that Noatas upward kick was more of a trip by the time it met with Camerons legs.

The swift kick brazed the thief’s lower tights, His baggy leather armor, along with his limp body would nullify any serious damage the kick would have rendered of course pain and burses were still bound to occur. Cameron’s legs being kicked, used as much of the impact as possible into his artful fall. Landing about five feet behind the cyborg circa kick, with his elbows first. Cameron wasted no time in his counter. Collapsing to the ground like fluid, his scarf and bandana draping; positioned himself in recoil.

He was demonstrating his thief like techniques, his style, armor, tricks, all part of his hit and run tactics. For that split second he was crunched over the behind(ish) robot, he dropped a smoke bomb underneath himself from his sleeve, attacked to the pin a wire. The action was not impossible to catch, but it was a well practiced deployment by theft, hidden by line of sight, and expert technique. At the same time, his dagger slipped from his left sleeve, into his left hand. Then, Cameron shot back out at Edward from behind using all of his strength and recoil from his tall legs. well, even tho Ed would probably have turned around by now.

Letting his right arm trail behind him, and stabbing with his shattered sword dagger, aimed from either Eds back, or Heart, depending on which was in front of him. His eyes still bright and determined, a slight grin could be seen on his face. Inside, his excitement and energy grew. Maybe this tournament could provide a fight.

((We're on the 3rd round now. Your last post was the 2nd.))

Edward's facial features expressed indifference in the actions of his opponent. No frustration, no insanity, no actual need to rip him open. He wasn't going to cream himself through the act of battle. He wasn't anxious; he was patient, exemplified by his current choice of moves. Cameron would come to him. There was no doubt in the cyborg's mind, and the thief would open himself to Edward, and Cameron would inevitably feel every ounce of punishment Edward had in store for him.

Bloc Party - Hunting For Witches

The unfeeling of striking prosthetic on flesh wasn't new to Edward. His cyber brain only registered the impact, which was met with more indifference because Edward wasn't quite sure on how to respond to it. He hit something...yay!

The cyborg was watching though, his eyes never leaving the space Cameron occupied. The thief was too fast and Edward couldn't afford to lose sight of his opponent even for the most briefest of moments. He saw his attack hit, and also watched it miss it's intended target. Most importantly, he also saw Cameron falling over in some sort of roll or something. It happened in a flash really, and Edward's optics couldn't make out that well. Cameron was well past him and on his way to traverse about five feet of space. Good for everyone involved. Sort of.

Quickly, Edward spun around and backed up just a tad. Mostly a foot of space, so basically Ed took a step back. He was grounding himself in, unwilling to lose an inch of land against his opponent unless necessary. By the time he did this though, Cameron was already closing the distance again.

This time with something sharp in his hand.

Edward didn't have much time to lose. He was already in motion. The cyborg began to angle his body, making sure that Cameron's intended target wasn't aligned with his dagger. From heart to shoulder, it was evident that Edward had angled himself to his left. That was just the first step though, his motions were rapid, and although the shoulder was better than the heart didn't mean that either were preferred.

Edward burst forward and inward (to his right); right hand racing towards in the incoming stab, while the left simultaneously burst forward. The right hand moved to attempt to clasp at the inside of Cameron's wrist, moving the course ever so slightly to avoid being hit, while gaining a hold on his opponent. Though, it was worth mentioning that Cameron was fast as hell, and Edward wasn't quite fast enough to stop the stab entirely. If the grab succeeded and Edward tried to inch the blade away, it still wouldn't work quite as much as Edward wanted it too. The blade was too close by the time Ed would be there, and the blade would still slice deeply into the flesh on the side of his right shoulder and scrape against bone. Edward would have to get it looked at after the match.

Edward's burst inward and forward closed the distance between them even more, his left arm still moving dangerously close to Cameron's gut in punch like movement. Though, the attack's strength didn't lie in the fact that he cocked it back but rather that all of his body weight was being burst forward for one solid strike. Half way to it's destination, the inside wrist of his cybernetic arm ripped open as the two feet of blade struck outwards in an incredible display of mechanical speed and power.

The blade's activation and it's subsequent enhancing of his arm's reach would cut down the travel time to about four/fifths of the normal time. The blade was sharp enough and the power behind it strong enough to pierce through the armor and even flesh. It was even long enough to hit organ too. Though, it's success wasn't in Ed's hands, it was all up to fate now. Though, even if the blade didn't pierce flesh, it wasn't too difficult to understand that armor blocks blows not force. Even if Cameron didn't bleed that time, he'd still feel the poke as it were any old poke, and he'd probably still lose all the oxygen in his lungs from the heavy lunge. Though, Cam could always just try to avoid the attack, though it would be difficult being devoid of space and being held onto.

Easiest way to describe the burst, and how simultaneously both actions happen.

~ soo uhh this would make it 5?" ~

Ha excellent, the thief impressed at the cybrogs reaction speed and greater mastery of hand to hand techniques. Edward used a style that Cameron only saw practiced by special forces. If this was a straight up knife fight, Edward was sure to win. His greater weight, grappling techniques, and little “click-clack” poker would be fatal to the thief. But this wasn’t a straight up knife fight. And like Cameron’s title may imply (Lord of Thieves), he didn’t fight uhh fair, or with orthodoxy.

The force and momentum of Cameron’s spring attack wasn’t focused in his stab, but in his right palm, so as Ed burst, the thief countered with his own. His initial stab was a feint; its sloppiness was confirmed by the robots exact palm grab. Hitting in just the right spot in Cameron’s arm to clause him to drop the dagger, but the being held on to part was met with much resistance. Namely, as Cameron at the same time, using what energy he had saved for black flame attack to step in to the right with his open lower palm, trying to displace the pokers trajectory.

At this time, the smoke bomb behind Cameron went off, shooting golfend scarf behind him into Edwards face, followed by a thick plume of black smoke, everything but Cameron’s scarf blending in completely. Then…

HYAHHHHH! poppppphshhhh

to everyone in the stadium they’d see the newly developed plume of smoke spike, and start to spread off into a trailing cloud.

While inside the smoke, Cameron released a nice little explosion of black flames from his open palm. Enough not only to slightly push the two apart, but if the robo was to press further, he’d run the risk of catching the black flames. Not that he could see any of this in the plume of smoke. But Cameron suspected Ed has some sort of super perception going on with all that robotic stuff. Whether he was wise or un-wise was up to him. As for Camerons next actions, if he was to break free or not, was to fall to the ground and tumble back, swift and ******** as with mechanical precision out of the plume and to Edwards flank. Letting go his scarf loose in the plume, it keeping its positions in the breeze as to throw a misleading direction.

Edwards effective defense knocked the dagger out of his hand, but Cameron left a wire tied to the end of it, impossible to see in the smoke. What would Edward doooo in the misttii.

((Your post was 3. You need to learn your mathematonics.))

This guy was crafty as st. Cameron was a thief and st.

Mustard Plug - Hit Me! Hit Me!

As far as Edward knew, or at least what he would eventually think in retrospect (because thinking too much in a fight was retarded), that Cameron was totally like a chess player. He has a plan on top of a plan on top of a second plan. He met all of Edward's attempts with some sort of elaborate scheme or another. This one was no different, except for the BALL OF NONDESCRIPT FIRE + explosion.

Well s**t...

The Misfits - Great Balls of Fire

Cameron attempted to displace the trajectory of the blade, and it would work for the most part, but there was just one pretty big problem. The target was Cameron's torso and typically the humanoid torso was usually a bit over a foot in width if thin, and only became longer when more bulky. The slight attempt to displace the blade was only a minimal success, and still left Cameron open to a stab. Especially as Edward began to pull Cameron in via his trapped wrist.

This was followed by a smoke bomb that spread quite quickly and the black fire explosion. It was already established that Cameron was fast. But it was apparent that Edward didn't function at the level of a paraplegic either. Cam was NOT going to be finishing all of his aforementioned actions before he got stabbed. Just about all of them, but not quite there yet.

With the small interruption by Cam, the blade would stab into Cameron a moment before his explosion would go off. The explosion would obviously hurt. It was an EXPLOSION, of course it was going to hurt. Though, it was not lethal, for some odd reason, and only pushed Edward away from the Lord of Thieves.

The blast would hurt as said before, but it would also be just a bit worse on Cameron. The blade that probably would have struck flesh and possibly even organ would be forcefully dislodged by the force of the blast. The force of the explosion would rip the blade out of Cam's abdominal area, most likely opening a bigger wound, and drench the blade with blood.

Then Edward hit the ground, partially out of the smoke cloud. He would retract the arm-blade and tried to see if he could drag himself out.

Cameron would be bleeding a lot by now. Either a wound, or Cameron avoided via a swift cart wheel. Either way, Edward was indifferent. He had his blood now.

-4-

15Captain Vord

~ so this one is 5? ~

Ahhhh, Cameron lay on the ground after his soft fall. Glad Edward didn’t have the skills to remain ontop of him. In the middle of the thick smoke screen, most would lose their bearings, but not this rogue. His wavy scarf and tied dagger anchored him in the dark. But more importantly, it helped him figure Edwards exit.

But that small detail was for in a few seconds. As right now he needed to get to his feet for a damage assessment. Silently the thief tumbled up. The warm sogginess of blood felt under his armor. Ugh, he winced; normally wounds are something he takes some dark pleasure in. But with heavy cloth the sides stick unpleasantly your wounded skin. Luckly, the thief could feel bits of blood trickling down his stomach. Good, Cameron thought, Ed didn’t hit my abdomen.

Silently picking up his dagger, Cameron stalked opposite from Edward in the smoke screen. About 2 seconds have gone by since the explosion, and the cloud is dissipating.

Pain seemed to be around his chest, but he wasn’t sure. Still, the thief didn’t dare to breathe, if Edward punctured a lung; this fight was over. But the thief had more skill than to let that happen, he assured himself. With careful dexterity, Cameron felt up his armor, a long break apparent over his chest.

Further inspection… dupe by dupe… ahh that’s skin.

Cameron reached outside the smoke, creeping closely to the ground. Dagger in one hand. his other hand on wound. Now the moment of truth… the thief looked down at himself, to find a semi long, scarlet line across his chest, about an inch from lung. Yes! success.

See, the Lord had been turning in right as he punched, so Edwards target wasn’t staying still either. He barely got the blade the nick into Cameron’s lower ribs before the explosion, the explosion itself causing the slash. If it wasn’t for that, Edward would have sunk the blade deep into Cameron, and then fallen on top of him. But that didn’t happen.

Cameron was left outside the smoke opposite of Edward, a long flesh gash over his chest. Nothing seriously serious; he’s been through much worse, however the wound will wear on his body. About 6 seconds have gone by since the explosion, a relatively short period of time. In this fight it could’ve seemed like eternity, or not.

Cameron moved to his respective corner and waited for the smoke to clear. While waiting he, worked on binding some energy and keeping awareness through open palmed yoga type positions. His demeanor still what could be considered bright, no mind the cut across his chest.

User Image

16Just Naota

Edward dragged himself out of the smoke cloud before picking himself off the ground. He patted and dusted himself down, trying to put out any small fires that may have got on his clothes. He was fine, so far. Better than Cameron, he guessed.

The cyborg brandished his wrench and moved around the smoke cloud. He'd eventually see Cameron.

17Captain Vord

~ 7?? ~

Camerons palm flexing was ended by carefully transitioning into a mime-ish type skit of leaning on something that wasn’t there.

“You scratched me real good Edward!” Cameron shouted the cut across his chest visible through the black armor. A pillar of black flame erupted where his mimed lean would’ve been.

“I’m afraid cough I slightly misjudged you.” He finished the pillar of black flames burned away leaving behind a long glassy black claymore with a golden hit. Cameron already leaning on it. Then, if Edward hasn’t charged him already (which he just would’ve reacted below sooner) Cameron took a sword stance, then took his charge.

A loose but well controlled sprint to the robot with sword trailing behind. When the appropriate distance has been reached, say 15 ish feet, Cameron would change his running stance by slowing down and moving the long blade forward, when a 10 foot distance between him and his opponent was met, Cameron took a small leap in the air, sword brought to diagonal slash position, then…. What else but a!!!

BOOM,

An explosion of black flame behind Cameron’s feet mid jump; giving him mainly an unexpected boost in speed and force in his slash. The new found speed shouldn’t be overlooked, he would enter inside the 4 foot blade reach just those few seconds quicker.

Cameron’s face was elated to the point of madness. Rocketing towards Edward with extreme force, and a quickened swing; aimed to chop the robot in half, or more likely, crash through his wrench defense.

((Just stop numbering them.))

The cyborg shrugged at Cameron and just sent deadpan his way. Adjusting his glasses, Ed momentarily smirked, knowing that a particular cloaked metaphysical entity was going to get his fix of "Cam blood." And Edward was gonna make a pretty penny out of it. Though, the smile dropped and Edward was bland and determined once more. Might as well go all the way and win the prize money.

Get hella rich, hella, hella, hella rich.

Edward put his wrench up and watched Cameron's approached, almost prepared for the odd burst from his opponent. Bending his knees, the cyborg held his ground, only bursting into motion when Cameron got close and began his diagonal slice.

He went with the angle of blade, got low, and burst under the swinging claymore around Cam's side. This left Cameron in a compromising position. Hitting air and airborne.

A loud sound came next.

The depression of the wrench's lower trigger, revealed the saw within the head of the device. Near instantly, the circular saw spun at 2000 RPMs, just as Edward was bursting by Cameron's side. The cyborg would attempt to drag the saw across Cameron's side as he went by at full speed. The blade was capable of cutting through metal beams, a hand-held construction tool for the contractor on the go.

It was probably going to hurt. Yeah.
