Overture: TGS 2007 Mix ~ The Last Remnant OST
[0:00 - 0:22]
The lights of the surrounding area would dim as music once again would take the arena's speakers, as it did in the open hallways. Darkened and quiet the arena as the commotion of the human and demon cast would settle down, knowing that the entrance of one of the teams was approaching.
The stillness seemed a little long. Were they coming...?
[0:23 - 0:25]
A strong drum beat, and ominous tone of the music would take overm the lights fading to nothingess.
Feint signs of pixie-fire would begin to show along the base of the ring as the feint familiar ringing would be heard around the arena... quiet this time.
a string of brass percussion, a rising t e n s i o n.
[0:36 - 0:50]
*Pow! Kack! Bang! Boom!*
Firecrackers booming around the edge of the ring as well as the barriers keep the audience at their seats instead of rushing the ring. Each firing off in alternating sets along with the rise in tension of the area.
Only the small light of the blue mock-fire to provide a steady illumination, and barely any at that. The rest was provided by the sparks, which illuminated Juri and whoever else had entered the arena from the opposing team at that time, the pyrotechnics causing plays of cross shadows on the ring floor.
Another rise in the music's tension would bring an end of the fireworks, giving way to a different kind of pyrotechnics.
[0:51 - 1:06]
The pixie fire that was at the base of the ring suddenly spanned outwards, making the entire Arena floor, save for the ring, look like it was spanned on fire, the flames slowly turned into a darkened violet-black. The arena floor looked like a sea of dark flames... shifting again to a soft white... almost seeming clear as a path from the right side of Juri, to the entrance would part away... *[1:06 - end]*
A single spotlight would stream down from the top of the stadium, pointing directly down at the opened Arena doors. Stepping through was the look again of Team Kami.
Leading them was none other than Alan Meadia, the boy enchanter who had proven his meddle against a fierce elfish general, and a hellatious flaming serpent manipulator. The latter having fought Alan into a mutual defeat. But Alan's team had still rose, somehow to victory again. Out of anyone on Kami's team, no one could doubt this half-avion's bravery.
Though he would not be gone out of his previous battle without notable wounds. His wings were out, his left one with a stripe from his wings stripped of all feathers, wrapped instead in a tight cloth around the cleaned and healed burn wounds. However, rather than leave the skin bare, he opted to leave it wrapped, creating a white inverse triangle spanning across the outer part of his wing, narrowing into a thin strip that was shown on the inside.
His right hand too was wrapped in white bandages, having spent both practical and magical methods to heal his hand back into being fully functional. Save for the noticeable lack of a pinky, which had never been discovered or recovered from his last fight's dramatic conclusion. He would have to deal this fight compensating for the slight loss of grip in the hand.
Behind him, of course, was the remainder of Team Kami. Sokoya Ramak, a woman known now to many as one to be utterly feared now. She had toppled two creatures incredibly more dominating than her in her matches, though, with the last, she had fought to the ground valiantly against a raging ogre. Unfortunately, the judging system had found the ogre illegally admitted into the tournament before the judging could have been completed... and the true conclusion of the fight could not have been determined. However, there was no doubt that the woman would go to any length to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Even if it meant breaking right through said jaw.
Then there was Cameron, his cunning was displayed in the first round, but also had his victory snatched away from him due to complications with the opposing team... and again by the buzzer of the round end. No doubt the dark clad thief was anxious to secure a final victory this round. Not to prove his worth of course, but to guarantee a victory for his team, and insure his reward.
(Following paragraph of course pending acceptance from judges)
Then there was Wilian Dawnmarrow. The final combatant of Team Kami, adopted from Team Guilt when the complications lead an innocent fighter that had proven his bravery in previous rounds, even to some measure of defeat, to have almost been torn from his chance at redemption in the last round. It was by the graces of Mrs. Violet's own connections that he was allowed to join Team Kami. The Team Captain, Alan, only found it fitting in the end, that two teams splintered apart would finally join as two completed halves in the end.
It was this team, with a far more united look about them than the last round, that approach along the fiery pathway to the ring center. Something about them saw a more determined front among them. In the first, and in again the Semi-finals round, there seemed to have been something that kept them disorganized, and odd strokes of luck favored them to work through both of those instances of weakness.
Now... like in the second round, the Audience of the Dark Tournament, as well as the Dream Team, would face down not weakness, but an unbridled determination to go the final steps towards victory.
