Randall 'Tiny' Smalls

[Location: Kharessan Docks/ Specifics: Main trade ship/ Company: John, spectators, and Rockington.]
[Spoiler Warning. One punch Manga's shots are used in this post. You've been warned.
Additionally: If there's one thing I'll do, it's own up to my mistakes. Always. It's come to my attention that I read 30 fps as 30 mph when I was angry and going over my profile yesterday. Despite being angry, that's no excuse. However, being human is. Which I am. You don't need to forgive me. It doesn't bother me that much. We all make mistakes even when we're in a good mind frame.]
Despite what a sprint speed implies, one needn't discount the massive stride of a giant to pretend that his pursuit was worthless. Less they discover the hard way, that it was not. Granted, John would still gain that aforementioned gap of ten feet from where he could whirl about if he wanted to. Presumably to cast his spell? Which was what Randall had intended to interrupt by swinging a hammer into his knee before he had the chance to gauge his target. So would he wait for John to stop? Yes. Would he wait for him to start turning or preparing his cane for deflection? No. Would he stop moving forward despite how much it hurt to torque his body into whipping that hammer into John's position? Not really. However we're overlooking one fatal factor here that seems to be underestimated.
John was a Cockney thief right? The reason Randall was still shucking and jiving was because he was built Ford Tough. Endurance and resilience were his key attributes, where as his ungodly striking potential was just what he'd trained his over-sized form to do for what seemed like a life time now. In other words, even weakened as he was; it was safe to presume Tiny was generating much more physical force than John was capable of deflecting one armed, wounded, and while utilizing such a small implement? And all of this wasn't even accounting for the fact that he seemed to have the visual information regarding the hammer strike coming in, long before he even had a chance to turn around and assess the situation... But what the hell! Let's just pretend he has dare devil awareness, and that's not an issue! Would he then be able to absorb the kinetic force from the hammer in his single arm with a short length of hardened thin presumably much lighter granite? Or would he attempt to deflect the object, only to feel the re-coil reach up through his arm, into his shoulders, causing him to wince naturally like the agile light weight fighter he is: Only so he could eat a bone shattering steel hammer blow to his knee regardless? Hell maybe he'd bash himself in the knee with his own cane? Either way it would seem more likely he never had the strength or positioning to perform this feet of outright deflecting the hammer to begin with...Besides: Wasn't he prepping a spell or something? Or was he casting it? Fuck it. We'll just roll with it, and assume he's got the relative dexterity+Reaction time of Agent Smith all hot and bothered for Neo's sweet sweet ass...
See: Wonky bullshit isn't fun to deal with after the fact? Is it? But go ahead and explain that "Mr. I like to doubt every counter action provided." Which is funny because you were playing with "Mr. I'm going to roll with it and try to provide a good match regardless." Or at least up until now. Because now. School is in session. This is "Mr. Time To Fail You, Because you Failed to Do Your Own Homework on the Situation."
What really sucked for John, was that regardless what he did about that Hammer: Randall had never stopped moving, albeit there was nothing graceful about his clumsy heated march onward to his pre-occupied opponent. The stones posed very little threat to him as they hovered at the ready. But let's take a quick pause. Because: SCIENCE LESSON TIME!

HOLY SHIT! That's really tough if Google isn't a dirty liar. Well? Randall's bones are probably twice the size of your average human if you want to get technical here? Right?... Not to mention a life spent punching and battering the shit out of hard objects created a very fascinating but factual biological phenomenon in his mundane mortal bones. It's called Calcification. You see, the process of constantly battering incredibly hard objects with utter disregard for safety; such as brick walls, demons, robots, armored opponents, skulls, and dragons- your knuckles and striking surfaces fracture each and every time. However, when these fractures heal (The human body is an incredible thing isn't it?); they remold the shape of the damaged surface with thicker malformed calcium mass. In other words: After twenty something years of going hand to hand and bludgeoning the utter living shit out of things much harder than humans, Randall had achieved a very common status among martial artist. His striking surfaces felt more like steel hammers than squishy mortal limbs. Another fun fact about this condition: It is a totally common mortal enhancement that you'll see utilized by mundane martial artists today, without even trying. That is striking much harder surfaces to build up the resilience of the striking surface through the constant break down and build up of that area. The fists, the top of the feet, the heels, the palms, the elbows, the shins, the knees, and even forearms in some cases. Meaning it didn't need to be outlined in Randall's profile to be part of his kit. Because his fists were very much conditioned to these standards by the sheer token of his martial arts background. So what does this all mean?1? Randall's bones and striking surfaces are actually probably closer to [4 1/2x] harder than treated every day on the side walk concrete... Which is probably much higher quality, yielding better over all impact resilience than what John is offering here on the fly... Or at least we would know if he outlined anything in more detail other than: I throw rocks, all the rocks.
Now this leads me to the relevance of this quick science lesson regarding martial arts, and the human body. Because, John was lobbing compacted (but not resilience enhanced) chunks of granite, albeit at high speeds. Whatever diameter they were, they were presumably much smaller than Randall. While normally this could be incredibly dangerous to mortals... To a man mountain who could keep on kicking after all this punishment? Do you think a 22. pistol would slow down an angry gorilla who wants to pay you back for flinging shit at him? If you did, you'd be a very fucked individual. How John even managed to shatter Randall's arm earlier was an utter mystery if Tiny had the cognizance to ponder on the facts that he was actually denser and more resilient than Rockington. Over all. Literally...
MelonusHead Wrote:
> Presuming Tiny had still waited until he turned to throw his hammer, rather than trying to hit him while he was moving rapidly, this was when John would be threatened. Or not so much, as he hardened what remained of the cane mockingly as he span around, battering the hammer he was completely expecting out of the air with about as much ease as Tiny had stopped both his own attacks. His hand ached as the rock shook from the impact and the hammer was deflected past his right side (the side he had turned in) even as he landed and properly faced the lumbering giant.
Or rather, He was already poised and ready to converge on his opponent when he turned about to alter his cane, and deflect the hammer he shouldn't have been able to see and ready for. Where as this was when Randall suddenly blitzed John with his final burst of strength. The cockney thief should have shot that spell off sooner, because it only took two mighty thumping steps to rapidly close that gap between them. Even as John shifted to attempt to deal with the force of the hammer, Randall's shadow crawled over his position as the man Mountain himself loomed into range. He could cover something like seven to eight feet with his massive four foot stride after all. And with those gorilla arms, his actual reach was closer to three and a half feet. The best (or worst) part: was that his right fist was cocked and ready, smoldering with his spell prep, and more than likely intent to fire off an incredibly fast unforgiving punch. One that presumably would happen before John ever got around to his spell cast or settling his counter action. (however it all played out?)

This left no time to react to the man mountain when he came down with the utter fury of a dump truck full of nitro glycerin flung out of a sharknado. The sound of a Mosen Nagant would go off in their vicinity as John's world blotted out underneath the incredible mass of that rapidly encroaching fist. With sight gone, and hearing gone: John was literally left with that horrible image and the reality of the ensuing events. That was, he wasn't going to be able to escape this blow.

The ringing in both their ears would last for five to six seconds (One post) tops, where as the mark that fist was going to leave post-impact might even succeed a few of his generations... Hit or miss for the punch itself: John and the stones between them were being converged upon by a downward trajectory despite the fact that they were squared off. In other words; by the sheer token of their respective sizes: Randall was punching downward because he was much larger and he had to. So the whole mess, hammer, John, Jagged dangerous sharp cane, Stones, and all would get swept up in the wake of the ensuing kinetic force that launched off that all too rapid punch. As noted in a previous fight, Randall could be estimated to possess roughly the equivalent striking power of the fictional character Ivan Drago. 1400 foot pounds per punch. Which wasn't really accounting for the fact that Randall probably actually had a much larger fist and by that token; more weight behind his strike. Or if you need a real world comparison: that would be 200 more foot pounds than one of the hardest recorded punches delivered by Heavy Weight Mike Tyson, clocking in at 1200 foot pounds. Sonic Fist was double Randall's normal striking potential. So where it would translate to something like 2800 foot pounds normally, here and now; we'll say it's severely dampened in force due to Tiny's injuries, where as the speed is retained to some degree off the actual 'supernatural effects' of the ability. (The shock wave being created) So while this particular blow only carried 1800 foot pounds (Still quite respectable despite being a fraction of the potential force), it was still traveling at something like sixty miles per hour, or eighty eight feet per second. Easily out racing the fastest, and out weighing the heaviest punches recorded thus far by man. Which I guess for a wounded meta-human was probably not unheard of, or even impressive when achieved by spell. The sound going off was his bones clacking and cracking against their appropriate sockets and housings. 'Screaming out their discontent with not simply dislodging when his muscles pulled them taught to the strenuous task of delivering the uncanny force of the focus retained in that fist. The shock wave that erupted off the punch itself aimed through the stones (if they were hovering that high) and into John's mouth at a downward angle ultimately, should actual connection occur. Regardless of physical impact with the blow; the punch would create an expanding outward cone of force that spanned four by four feet while stretching out from the fullest extension of the punch for up to five feet. Angled downward with enough force to full on slam the whole mess into John's position; before being carried on a crash course through all the decks of the ship and down into the river below. A side effect due to the weight of the whole kit and kaboodle that normally would have only been flung ten feet in distance... Where as John might find he would sink like a stone in the water, literally. This was presuming he was heavier (Check?) and more resilient (Check?) than your average person... Or at least that much I have to assume? But based on what we've seen, I'd say it's a safe assumption right?

> Those hands: While Randall won't be outclassing any light weight agility based fighters in the move speed department, he does have notably (perhaps even incredibly) fast hands when it comes to his reaction time+technique. More so than what anyone would ever see in a mundane human with anywhere near as much bulk as his.
Randall's Profile Wrote:
> Sonic Fist: By flexing and drawing intense focus into his fist, Randall can there after deliver a single punch that will create a shock wave of kinetic force during delivery. This technique fires off a punch that will carry something like 50% of Randall's muscle's latent capacities (as appose to 20-30%) while launching a cone of concussive force from the fist. (roughly double his normal striking potential) This cone carries enough power to fling a two hundred pound full grown human eight feet. This effect applies to those caught in the projection whether or not the fist made contact with them. This cone effect reaches outward for up to five feet, while creating a radius of nearly four by four feet. Additionally: The charge time for Sonic Punch noticeably contorts and warps the air around the limb being amplified, giving the appendage the appearance of putting out streams of intense heat. Further more: the release of the shock wave is accompanied by a loud Boom. (not deafening, but roughly as loud as a Mosen Nagant going off near you. So startling, and disorienting if you weren't expecting it. Will leave the ears ringing for about 5-6 seconds (1 post)) > > [Cost: ▼▼▼ /Charge Time: 5-6 seconds (1 post)/Duration: Ear ringing deafness for 5-6 seconds (both parties)/ Cool Down: 5 posts]

> With no objects to defend himself, and a ten foot gap to cover before he could even reach John, it was the perfect time to end him. Rock screamed in from either side of John at almost 70mph, plunging directly into the man’s path directly at his face, neck and chest respectively. The Brit no longer really cared if he had to kill him to end the fight, he’d done more than enough to end it non-lethally.
To think Randall was going to sit idly while John dealt with the hammer was folly. The whole point of the hammer was to distract him from doing whatever he had in mind for those damned living rocks. So mission accomplished. Where as now John might not really have a chance to re-think his issues as he found a veritable monster truck of force slamming him down through the entirety of the ship along with what was left of his arsenal. Where the ring out ten count would occur, assuming he couldn't turn into agent smith and; "Dodge this".
Cue that [Theme Music](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO9TjrYDq_A) to accent the bad-assery of this particular turn around in what had up until now: Seemed to be a totally one sided match. Where as The man mountain with the smoldering fist would be left teetering precariously over the massive hole he'd created no more than two or so feet away from his position. His vision would be thinning, and his world rocking back and forth. Yet his center of gravity was low, and he still managed to stand. John McClane would have been proud to see the grit being displayed by this motley adventurer here and now. At this point, Randall couldn't even totally stand up straight, but he'd be damned if he wasn't going to push himself to reach as far into that rigid stature as possible. Regardless of the suffering it brought. Performing Sonic Fist while wounded was actually an incredibly bad idea. As demonstrated by the fact that Randall seemed barely able to keep it together at this point. In fake tv wrestling terms: He was reeling. He wasn't about to topple, but he was definitely feeling the fatigue of having spent almost the entirety of his stamina.

Combat Info
Abilities: [Sonic Fist: Prepped pre-hammer strike a while back. Discharged this turn pre-spell cast to interrupt while he's dealing with the hammer. (Btw this accounts for him just deflecting the hammer as he originally wrote it, but I figured I'd give him a hard time about it since that's the kind of game we're playing here apparently.)]
Equipment
Bracers A vambrace leather design with three under side thick leather strapped belt fastens to secure the armor in pace. Where as the 'light armor' top side of laminated leather is fastened with 1040 carbon steel over lapping thin scale male sections.
(Will specifically do better at handling cutting and slashing damage, where as blunt force damage and powerful stabbing will probably compromise the integrity of the metal sections)
Shin Guards A standard shin greave design with four thick leather strapped belts in the back to secure the armor in place. These greaves protect until just below the knee, and are composed of laminated leather for the most part. The design is similar to the bracers in the way that they have a outer layer of overlapping steel plate sections.
((Will specifically do better at handling cutting and slashing damage, where as blunt force damage and powerful stabbing will probably compromise the integrity of the metal sections)
[Flak Jacket](http://s19.postimg.org/krynt0n9f/Flack_Jacket_fin.png): Despite the name, this is actually a light weight nylon jacket that has a chain mail vest woven into it's design. Aside from the zipper length in the front, the concealed chain mail weave provides relatively good light armor against slashing, and mild blunting against stabbing. Aside from the chain mail itself, there is a layer of inner padding beneath the mail, along with feather down insulation through out the whole thing. (Chain rings: The chain mail rings are forged of Martensinic 440 Stainless Steel. Thickness: 25 gauge (0.508 mm) [Swg system]. The rings themselves are fairly standard size as far as their circumference is concerned [Approximately 25.4 mm]. The Flak Jacket itself weighs in at 10 lbs
(No where near impenetrable, but if someone throws an axe or knife, it might not cut as deep as it would otherwise (or at all), albeit he runs the risk of the chain mail itself being deformed from a sharp edges impact and jutting into his skin.)
Additionally the vest has nifty pouches that Randall keep things in... Utility~
Maglite: A 4-D cell ultra Maglite flash light. Provides up to 240 meters of light for up to approximately 9 hours and 30 minutes, water resistant, and a fairly decent potential bludgeoning weapon for a couple solid strikes.
[I'd say Randall can probably beat stick someone with this 2 times total before it just explodes from Randall Strength+impact stress.]
(Kept in the furthest left pocket on the right side)
[Brass Knuckles](http://s19.postimg.org/9yg4nivgj/brassknucklesjpg_78e727f6ada68b5e.jpg): A fairly standard yet very large version of brass knuckles (to fit his abnormal grip), composed of 1040 carbon steel alloy.
(Kept in the pouch furthest to the right of the right side; Lost)

Fervor Point System
show spoilerhide spoilerFervor Point System: (Fervor Point= ▼) Randall gains resources for taking damage/blocking attacks/deflecting attacks. Basically, if he doesn't out right dodge, or slip the attack without providing some form of interaction: he gains a ▼. Any ▼ gained are applied at the end of the post, rather than on the spot during the damage. Additionally, no more than one ▼ may be gained per post where in Randall takes damage/Interacts with an attack.
[Sonic Fist: -3]
Fervor Point Pool: ▼
Damage Taken:
A smalldeep stab (approximately five inches) to the left most side of his abs (Probably leaking steadily. Will impede core motion/ potential striking force)
[The stab has been stressed from impact force, and has torn further. Bleeding slightly faster. This would be the difference between passing out in seven minutes, as appose to ten, and that's assuming the best. (things don't get worse while Randall keeps pushing himself.)]
[Also: Armor Detriment: Punched a hole clean through the chainmail on the left side, near his abs.]
Shallow slice to his cheek. Lightly bleeding.
Fat Bruise: To his left pectoral. Incredibly tender to the touch, Probably stinging deeply with each movement.
[Shattered] Radius and Ulna of the left forearm. (Basically unusable from the elbow down, and impact against the arm/shoulder is going to be intensely painful in less than a few minutes. [I'd say after [3] posts his adrenaline is just not going to be able to mask this kind of damage.])
Fat Bruise dead center of his chest. (Stone Cannon Ball sized)
[Also Left forearm Bracer is missing the metal platelets. Not that it matters. xp]
