Genshin Fusaki vs Cryovix

Heroic in nature, but quiet in flamboyancy. It had been so long since he'd stepped into this ring. His senses had dulled and his skills hadn't been tapped into in so long, the hilt of his blade felt alien at his touch.

"Let's get this over with..." First to arrive, our hero had come wearing his usual coffin. Packed inside was a handful of goodies. "Let's see...

1 Pair of goggles

1 Wooden plank

1 Rock

Yeah, that's all I'll need."

The flowing river of silver hair had been cut down to a fraction of the orginal piece, a tribute to what it once was. A savage man no more, his tattered rags had been replaced with a pair of denim and a cotton muscle shirt. He wasn't the type to adorn himself in steel armor and iron helm. He had lost his will to really fight here, lost it to the power of society.

Or was love the culprit? The span of time from the last fight to this one had been so great, he had found a girl in the process. He had no reason to fight, but every single one in the world to live. He would use his desperation to propel himself to new levels of survival. What did this mean? It spelt it out that this fight was redundant from the get-go.

The winner would likely be Genshin, no matter what our hero tried. He had no wish to battle his heart out here, he had nothing to prove. The girl he met did not know him as Gath the Fighter, but as Captain Toastbusters the Poet-Lauriet. No matter how this battle went, it would never serve to impress, nor depress.

He was battling to snuff the final piece of his former candle, his former life. He was battling to escape the world he used to know.

Fusaki would walk away the winner, but our Hero wasn't about to give him that title. He would make him snatch away that pebble, grasshoppers.

Our hero was not about to hand it all over, he would make this battle last a million centuries, at least. He would keep striking 'til his sword grew more tired than he himself, he would keep swinging 'til his body ached louder than his mind. Attack after attack, pounce after pounce, he would accept each blow and turn it around.

He had to serve as the push between victor and loser. Fusaki would need to prove himself before he could truly be the last man standing.

Genshin Fusaki vs Cryovix

FIGHT!

"You know, Judges... let's make things more interesting. I'll take on both Gath and Cryovix... at the same time."

He grins as he looks up to the crowd, the shadows vividly flaring from his body like tentacles yet weren't there as a show, but almost appeared to be a part of his body.

"Or, if you want to be fair you can make it a free for all last man standing..." His eyes flicker to an obsidian nature, then his head looks over to Cryovix, "Because... I know that he needs all the help he can get."

Unsheathing the blade, PAIN, he slams the blade as it impales the ground. The hilt just stands in front of his abdomen while both hands rest on top of the hilt as he nods towards Gath.

"It seems he agrees." He grins looking over towards Cryovix, "How about you?"

((If we're gonna' do this, we better iron out the details. When I say that, I'm really just hinting at turns and whatnot.

I assume that the best way to do it, is to carry on with usual GTB rules, plus one. For example:

Guy 1 > Guy 2 > Guy 3 > Guy 1 > Guy 2 > Guy 3 After the first combatant posts, the second warrior responds and retaliates immediately after. The third fighter then responds to both actions of the first and second entrant, and then retaliates. The first fighter then continues the action with a response to the second and third attacker, and then retaliates.

Follow? This means that after Guy #1 posts, the 3rd Guy cannot respond until the second has. Otherwise, there's a massive advantage presented to the combatant who's most active on Gaia, and the least active warrior will just get wailed on. That'll suck, and make for a really unfun fight. That's why a defined order is so damned important.))

"Good..." His voice became deeper than it was before, more daemonic in nature as well, but his grin never departed from his statue.

The shadows begin flaring from his body, covering the entire stadium while he stands there. Still in the same position, but just merely observing both of his combatants. Maybe they'll make this match more exciting... maybe not.

But it's time to see what they're made of.

Cryo looked from one to the other ecstatic. Which to attack first? What was going to happen? So many questions and so few answers. Cryo flexed and stretched his muscles to make sure they were in proper working order and then mentally checked off his weapons list. When he was finally satisfied he was ready he smiled and looked straight ahead. "When!"

Our hero had made no move, took no step, he had even watched his breaths. No player had drawn a weapon or made a threat yet, and he didn't want to be the first one to strike. After all, in Connect Four, the guy who picks red always loses.

No, he stuck to his technique, scanning the eyes of his opponent, watching for tells and signs. Genshin, the cocky bloodlust had made the challenge, but made no attempt at turning to attack. You'd think a man in his position would be eager to get the battle underway. Not doing anything at all, too fishy. The tell appeared in the wave of a blazing sign, he wasn't doing enough. A guy like him, if he wasn't going to attack, he'd probably be mocking them, or at least taunting. But he was thinking, concentrating, focusing... As if he was waiting for something. No, not waiting. He was trying to maneuver something, keep track of it. He was watching some invisible creature snake its way over. Like a puppet-master with a see-through dummy, the only way to know it's there, is never to let it out of your sight.

All signs said that Genshin was attacking without moving, and to our hero, there is one response to unknown striking. Go on the defensive. And what did that mean to our hero? It meant get airborne and get away. Nimble and light, our hero kicked the ground hard as hell and leapt backwards. Getting at least thirty feet between his opponent and himself, he touched down and took on a stance.

He made no effort to retaliate, but rather prepared for whatever came next.

((NOTE: This is not an annoyingly convenient response, but rather a natural decision for Gath. It is written in his character file that his main defense is jumping.))

Apparently, someone was thinking, but not thinking too much on the issue. The shadows do their job at making the opponents move as Genshin wanted them to... after all, this was a set up for the beginning of the battle. He wanted two people to fight against due to the fact that he'll know which of the two he'll surely have fun time to play with and which of the two, he'll destroy without questioning.

Was Gath the one? Or was it Croyvix? The blade into the ground was the symbol of a force that'll be coming. The shadows, are the diversion from the blade itself, and now... it was time for an individual to suffer from their observational flaw.

Gath was smart to leap backwards, and to land just about enough distance to notice the shaking in the ground that's starting to occur. However, Cryovix's mistake was the fact he stayed on the ground. As Cryovix's eyes flash, the ground then ceases to be tangible due to the usage of PAIN's earthen technique. It'd be like quicksand, but more elusive to being almost like a vacuum to suck the man clearly into the ground. Cryovix's speech, would be halted to the point that if he brings out the weapons to be in use... he'll be underground, and well below the acquired 10 feet, thus making him out of bounds.

Now, Genshin's eyes laid upon the man that lept into the air and landed just a few more feet away, let's just say that now Gath is more so 30 feet away from Genshin now.

"So... you are smarter than I would have thought." The shadows continued to move, and thus, weren't halted by a sudden flash of another's eyes. As now the shadows act like water flooding the arena more. It already covered the stadium, and it wasn't stopped, thus the sudden flash only showed that Cryo knew it came, but it was already there. "Don't stay in that spot too long... Gath..." Genshin's eyes flare into their crimson ruby aura, "I think something wants to see you."

As his words came out of Genshin's mouth, shadows formulating a large hand come up from the ground to grab at Gath's landing body to capture it within its grasp. Being now at this time, more tangible than ever, and another hand to cover the disabling hole that Cryovix fell into to push him out of bounds.

"Do you really want to fight? Or shall I show you why pain doesn't effect me?" Genshin grins, his pearly white fangs showing through.

Cryo was smiling in silence watching Genshin go after Gath. Parlor tricks weren't going to work on him. Genshin once again proved he knew nothing of Cryovix. The mere fact that the ground swallowed him did not stop the fact that his bullets flew, they may have been fired underground but they had fired though bullets shot underground had little bearing on a surface battle. It also didn't change the fact that Genshin was still on the ground. Cryo was merely standing a few inches under the sand. The shadow hand was indeed pushing something down but that something was not Cryovix but actually a rock that was similar in shape. That being taken care of Cryovix thought for a moment. Genshin was on a power trip and Gath was being more defensive than anything. Cryo supposed that since he clearly wasn't worth the effort he'd just play some tricks.

His eyes flashed again and the ground shook for a minute. Cryo merely rose up to the surface and looked around as if lost. He found Genshin and blinked in confusion and looked up after scanning the arena where he found Gath. Cryo shrugged and merely raised his gun again. He fired a few rounds at Genshin. Gath didn't seem to be playing. However for precautions sake Cryo lifted off the ground about a centimeter. As the bullets neared they're target a small line seemed to appear connecting them. As soon as that line became visible the bullets glowed a white hot. The precursor to the explosion obviously, however instead of fire, lightning exploded outwards surrounding the flames so as to increase the blast radius. As for Gath a single regular shot would do. After all, this was just probing. What were they capable of?

Our hero know this was the mainstay of the battle royalle, he would have to avoid several offensive maneuvers at once, while contributing his own attacks at the same time. He quickly accepted this fact, he was aware of it even before he had accepted this arrangement. It was only now though, that he started to realize the ramifications of this set-up.

Don't get caught up in so much thought, his mind kept telling him. Trust your instincts, they won't let you down. That was correct, he had fought before using what he knew and what he had done before. It was no time to change strategies. Alright, get your facts straight, Gath. Two obstacles between him and survival right now. Genshins shadow hand, that would surely kill him. Cryo's bullet, it probably wouldn't obliterate him, but it could make things dificult, especially since it would be easy to avoid. However, the other ammunition he had become privvy too, had exploded. Don't doubt that that bullet won't murder you, avoid it.

The hunk of metal flying at him was linear-moving, the hand was sentient. He could dodge the gunshot with a slight move, but the shadow's would pursue. He was about a hundred feet in the air... He could use that.

"Hmph!" With a spin, he tucked himself inside his coffin. Treading air no longer, he quickly began to fall downwards. The bullet would teeter past his last location, easily missing him. He'd no idea how the hand would react. He hoped his altitude would be enough to shake it altogether.

After he had rocketed through about 75 feet, he slid into a barrel roll, and pulled out of the wooden carrier. Grabbing the rock from before, still in freefall, and with a kick of his legs, threw himself into a tailspin. Using the momentum from the fall and from the roll he was now in, he let his upper-body muscles do the work for him. The wind at his back and everywhere else, he spiked the rock downwards, aiming right for Genshin.

That boulder, much larger in size than the pebbles he threw before, was greater in mass and launched at greater speeds. It would take more than another shadow to stop this hunk of gravel.

[[ Sorry for the long awaited reply. Work and such has been strenuous. ]]

Genshin seems to be in a predicament, or in fact, he was planning on this from the start. He thought his opponents were smart enough to actually -attack- him at the same time, to make things more difficult for him, but apparently, they're not and it made things a lot easier to respond to each opponent with ease. Simply put, Genshin was manipulating this whole fight from the beginning with the way things were going at this current point and time.

Gath's being rather smart, but not in the way Genshin wants him to be, it's not the case right now. To avoid the such maneuver of the shadow hand to go directly towards Gath, Gath went inside of his own coffin. Surely, put, the hand will react accordingly to now grab the casket itself to hold it directly in the air, and suddenly give it a toss directly towards Cryovix's direction. Which means, right when Cryovix begins to shoot that the bullets launched from Cryovix's being will be missed towards Genshin but have Gath as their new target instead of Genshin.

Even though Cryo tries to make the shadows become regular, Cryo couldn't manipulate the shadows that emmits from Genshin's body for its his own shadow, his own power, and the darkness is not manipulated by an outside force unless the weakness of the shadows were exploited. This didn't happen, thus, the other hand of the shadow hands fall as the casket of Gath comes directly in front of Cryovix.

It has begun. The attacks coming towards Genshin's body, they'll hit, creating tremendous explosion, extraordinary blasts and picking up of what seems to be black sand. But a laugh comes from the distant smoke of the arena as Genshin stands at his blade. PAIN has done what it needed to do, and now, it was time for Genshin's -real- attack.

Even though Genshin's body seems to be scarred from the attacks, it didn't matter, the rock was easily stopped by Genshin's left hand alone, his arm sending a pulsating blow to the rock creating it to disrupt as it explodes from his hand's impact. The right hand directly upon the hilt of PAIN, pulling the blade upwards the ground suddenly collapses falling creating a pit. It almost seems like there's absolutely no bottom at all this time. Unlike the last time Genshin used this technique, this time, there's no floor, but Genshin's body will hover in the air due to the fact that the shadows that enclosed the arena were holding upon the edge of the arena wall and keeping Genshin afloat.

"So... what are you going to do now?" Not even Cryovix nor Gath would have noticed that the movement of shadows being solid objects were mere distractions for the greater scheme he has planned.

Cryovix was suprised by the fact that Genshin had taken the attack in full as it appeared. It was meant as a test and all it proved was that Genshin could be damaged. Cryo drew other conclusions from his attempts to control the shadow failing and in the end knew what must be done. Though Gath seemed to be tackling the shadows nicely he probably hadn't noticed he was standing on a tree instead of the arena floor.

Genshin had done a wonderful job of interfering with Cryo's next move....well not interfering but revealing in any event. As Genshins sword made the sand and floor disappear something new was revealed. Underneath was what appeared to be a series of interconnected trees and bushes that Cryo had intended to bring up later but could in any event be raised now. As the trees and brush rose most of the sand held in place by the growth fell away. As it reached a point where the trees, which looked like choke vines crawling through a hollow tree trunk from above, could not only act as the arena floor but went on to rise above it. The true reason Cryo had been screwing around and the reason he'd never left the ground was this. He'd been spending the entire time creating this. The times the earth suddenly shook had been massive amounts of energy drawn from the earth to create this. It had taken a good deal of energy but Cryo knew the sacrifice had been worth it. Now it was time to see how well his opponents could deal with an animal in its natural habitat.

Cryo jumped and landed a little lower on the tree and then began moving around so quickly that any average fighter wouldn't be able to see his movements while the more seasoned warriors would see a blur as if a fast moving animal and just run out of their optical range. This plus the fact that his opponents sight was obscured by trees made him nearly impossible to see to quite a few well trained soldiers but these two had made it to so far in the tournament Cryo expected them to have they're ways.

((Right and here is my rebuttal.

1. How is it bullshit for me to be growing trees underground which I had planned for later use in the battle when genshin made the entire arena floor vanish? I said you landed on a tree because unless you landed on the wall then your currently in a freefall as you didn't say you saved a piece of the ground nor did you bother to mention whether or not it was indeed the wall or the ground that no longer existed you landed on. I apologize if I misread it but thats the way it translated to me. I'd also like to point out that I've been growing the trees since the battle began as stated in my post. If you want to call my growing them bullshit I'm an elementalist. Its perfectly possible for me to create them.

1. I'm not moving faster than the human eye. I can be seen. I merely said that to the regular fighter wouldn't be able to follow. I also stated that you both are above the norm and thus can follow. I said I was a blur which is not me moving so fast you can't follow its me moving so fast my body is to the point that it blends together but I can be seen. The only reason it would be impossible to follow is due to the fact that at current you can't see through the foliage. Its also completely possible you move as fast as I do and then my being a blur can be tossed to the side. I made that assumption as neither of you have made the effort to move faster than me up to this point.

Now as far as I can tell I havn't done anything wrong. To be honest I moved faster and fought a faster opponent in the first round and never had an issue arise from anyone. If you still think I'm breaking the rules then I have to make a complaint agianst Genshins taking out the arena floor and I'll slow down for you simple as that. Theres no need to be getting angry.

Cryo finally came to a stop after scouting the area. He knew where both Gath and Genshin were for the most part and could now begin his next move. You see these trees, if thats what these could be called, weren't exactly trees. They had grown like chokevines. A chokevine grew up around something, say a tree, reaching for the sun. While it grows trying to get more sunlight it wraps around the tree and around the roots killing the tree. Eventually the tree is overcome without aid and dies while the vines continue to grow. While Genshin had been taking out the floor these 'trees' had been growing a vast root system that spanned out under the coliseum and into it. Cryo wouldn't be suprised to see hallways with greenery in them when he left. However that wasn't the point. The point was that the system these trees used was based off of an innate survival instinct. Something had threatened they're survival from below so they had climbed up towards the sun. This survival instinct along with the root system meant that bringing down the trees in the fashion Genshin was using would mean he'd have to bring down the entire arena, and if left alone long enough, the entire colliseum to be rid of these. In this case the Coliseum had become the tree and the 'trees' the chokevines.

Secondly one might speculate on the fact that the trees grew with no warning. If trees were indeed growing underground would not the ground be displaced? It would indeed make the ground rise or fall depending on the root and tree size. However it did not. Cryovix had gone through the necessary motions to keep them hidden despite they're size and shape. This being the case accompanied by the fact that Cryovix was an elementalist would mean that he had the power and the will to insure an investment of this magnitude did not simply fall into a hole. Though it had cost him, Cryo forced the plantlife up and away from the gravity well until it was sufficiently strong to hold out for a time on its own. The problem with a blackhole would be that it is a force. A force so great it can capture and contain light. However if a greater force pulled that light or any other substance away the weaker force would be helpless to stop it. The weaker force would claim some of it in any case. A good deal of the plant life had fallen away. It was apparent everywhere. There were broken branches, missing pieces and chunks of trees altogether gone. The fact remained however the trees were still around. The greater force in this case was the darkness itself. Real darkness not blackhole style. One kind of darkness could never contain another kind no matter how hard it tried and there is far more darkness in the universe than there are blackholes. It was with the darkness that Cryo grasped his forest and held fast.

Cryo held his blade in the same position as before focusing straight ahead. The only giveaway of him actually doing something being that momentarily his eys glowed. The next move would fall in place soon after all Cryo was just having some fun.

His blade could hardly cut through such walls, a strange surprise to our hero. If his weapon of light could not pierce what was masquerading as shadow for so long,

it would come as no shock for our hero to wager that it must be a similar force. However, before our warrior's sharp mind could formulate a plan his body was enraptured with a inky force. His movements were slowed to a point of immovability. "Damn..." Under his breath, he mumbled his curses. His closed and rugged hand clutched the sturdy hilt of his blade for dear life. He faced a hurdle here, he needed to decipher the truthful identity of the walls around him, before it menat his death. His mind went to work, formulating and calculating.

[[ Trust me, they're shadows. Doesn't mean they're going to respond like what they're supposed to. Think of it as more of a metaphor than the actual thing. They're resistant to light, but not to something else. I don't want to give away that, for it'll give you an advantage. This is a part of the lesson I'm teaching you. ]]

As the shadows wrap around Gath's body, making him immobile, Genshin begins walking towards Gath. In this instance, the shadows became like the floor for Genshin, it was like he's a God in this area. Yet, there seem to be blood coursing from the wounds previously made, but he shown no sign of feeling pain.. more of showing enjoyment. Genshin is a pure warrior, and the battle is what entices him to move forward. Having a life as a daemon then becoming a daemon vampire through other means truly has for him to have a high tolerance for a lot of situations, and this happens to be one of them.

"You see... you want to fight me... but in order to fight me. You have to have the intent to kill me, or I'll find you boring." Lifting the blade PAIN (which appeared like a masamune) pointing it directly towards Gath's neck as he approached him. Though, the distance is that of 10 feet, Genshin grins mercilessly as the shadows begin tightening towards the neck of Gath. "I'd let you go... but I must see if you're capable of getting out first."

Was that a hypocritical or contradicting statement by Genshin? Or does he has something else up his sleeve.

Blood pours, Rain drops continue to gather, Watch out for the thunder from the rains. The lightning will strike more than once, Then destruction will occur...

PAIN begins illuminating in a black aura... what was happening?

((Sorry guys. I got the posting order mixed up and I didn't notice that first one get nixxed cuz I was in a rush the second time. It won't happen again.))

((Toastbusters has until Saturday 6:30 AM central to post or he's DQed. Then, Cryovix will have three days. If he does not post within that time limit, then he is DQed as well.))

Cryo finally stopped hopping around and nodded to himself. He had found the perfect spot. Here hidden in the trees he went back into his focusing stance and began charging energy once more. The next step would be wonderful to play out. So Cryo focused on building his energy back up. He didn't want to dip into his reserves just yet. That was a sign the battle was drawing to a close. It wasn't closing just yet. Cryo realized however that he couldn't just stand there as Genshin would be coming. So he focused on the trees life force and after a few minutes nodded.

Genshin who as Cryo had last seen him was dealing with Gath. He might find it very suprising indeed to have three sharp branches coming shooting out at him. Each came in successive order. As soon as Genshin made it by one, the next would come and so on. Each would be aimed at his left thigh from his left side where ever he was positioned. If his left thigh was guarded on the left the branches would be adjusted accordingly so it would move toward his left side. It was once again just a probing attack. Cryo didn't expect to hit him. He just wanted to see how much fun Genshin would be.

Cryo grinned as he walked through the 'darkness' Genshin was quite the player. Cryo merely grinned as he walked around. A shadow huh? Well what Genshin didn't know wouldn't kill him just yet. Cryo relinquished his own shadow. For as Genshin had proven in the past remained true now. Cryo needed a trick to tap his personal entity. Much the same would Genshin need from Cryo. The difference was Cryo was the only person currently alive who knew how to do that. Among the dead there was only one other that knew it. The trouble there was the dead one had created the darkness Cryo personally wielded. Cryo laughed again.

As he walked around he became slightly hazy. His blade still in hand though held in what seemed a loose position. This was indeed getting interesting. It had taken the man long enough. Here all Cryo wanted was fun and Genshin had the gall to make him wait. To fight a man was one thing. To fight a man in his element was another. Maybe Genshin would finally do something worth noting. Cryo couldn't help but laugh. He didn't know where to find Genshin at current. The time would come though. Then Cryo would play a new game. One with better rules and conditions than the current one. One in which Genshin would not get himself impaled by the wood meant only to test him. Cryo may walk in Genshin's shadow but there was one thing for sure. Genshin didn't control the universe and Cryo knew full well he didn't either. The things they're powers could do was imperceptable to regular warriors. One other then became certain in Cryo's mind. He should have just dodged the wood.

Cryo noticed the orbs floating in the air and became curious as to what such things could do. He'd seen several techniques performed with much the same objects but he wondered how Genshin would use them. Cryovix in response backed away from them keeping a good twelve yard distance and dropped into a personalized fighting stance. Cryo glanced around to be sure he wasn't getting the drop from behind or the sides and focused intently on Ryu. A bit more time and a few more tests would get him the final key he would need.

Cryo still continued to smile though. In recollection of the whole battle so far, he'd discovered it had been decidedly boring and now playing here things were finally getting interesting. Cryo wondered just how far things would go before an end was finally reached. Would Genshin satiate his thirst for battle or would he be just another disappointment in a series of meaningless tournament battles?

Cryo was confused about why the stupid things kept multiplying. Cryo stood upright and boringly looked on. He finally shrugged and snapped as if dissappointed before turning around and walking away. Genshin had to be in here somewhere. It wasn't like he could hide from Cryovix here. If had that kind of a notion he'd be sadly mistaken. Cryo decided to give the man a few more minutes to show his face or make a move or he'd have to destroy his 'shadow' as a sign that Cryo himself had better things to do than stand in one place. Cryo stopped and grinned suddenly. He tossed a look back over his shoulder. "Shadow Runner?"

Cryo shook his head at the voice he heard. "I wasn't talking to you. You aren't powerful enough to be as Shadow Runner. Now then....." Cryo turned to face the orbs. "Shadow Runner? What are you doing?" Cryo couldn't help but laugh as he turned his head following something. "Come now. You can't mean that. He wouldn't seriously be doing that now would he?" Cryo continued to laugh as some of the darkness seemed to hit Cryovix and vanish. The darkness could be considered part of an unstable mind. It could be considered a distraction. It could be considered lots of things but the fact was Cryo had been speaking to a shadow. Cryo continued to laugh as he turned his attention to the orbs. He held his sword out in front of him. He'd been storing energy this entire time. Darkness began gathering around his sword. Cryo would take this shadow out Genshin was just standing still. The tournament overseers would be getting agitated soon. "One last chance kid. Get this party started."

Cryovix was indeed annoyed by Genshin's latest remark. Cryo rolled his eyes and raised one of his hands off the sword hilt. He held his hand out palm facing Genshin. Ignoring the orbs Cryo focused on the image of Genshin and reached out. For several moments it seemed that Cryo merely stood there doing nothing. All at once though things changed. Small sparks of light appeared in a ten foot radius around Genshin. They appeared a mere moment before a rip in space cut Genshin's 'shadow' from this world and a different darkness erupted. A darkness not made of darkness at all but made of the searing black flames of hell. After a few seconds of that the sparks appeared as the rip seemed to shrink to nothing but a spec in the air and then it was gone. The flames however remained for a few moments. Oddly contained as if spread out against an invisible container. Cryo yawned and didn't even think about Genshin going down under something like that. This was his 'shadow' afterall. So Cryo had made the first move in this world. He was greatful for the honor but he'd wanted Genshin to make a move. It wasn't any fun to fight someone who had an advantage if they weren't going to use the blasted thing. This being the case Cryo figured he'd have to make him use it. Which was why Cryo's hand remained out.

Cryo looked suprised at the attack and brought his own blade down to block but it was in vain. The weapon went straight through him. He looked down in shock to see himself splitting in half and then Cryo's body melded into the darkness. A disembodied laugh pulsated throughout the darkness from all directions. While the laughing pulsated throughout the entire world Genshin had created a bullet from Cryo's gun came from behind below and above the man. Cryo was behind Genshin smiling to no end. "Plan huh? You can't even tell the difference between a shadow and the real thing! Pathetic." Laughter ensued.

Cryo merely shook his head as the stupid orbs changed they're course to what Cryo would assume was Genshin's target. This being the case it was safe to assume that Genshin didn't actually know where Cryovix was. If that were the case he would be making a different move at this point in time. Genshin understood nothing he just continued on in his way. He had no idea what was actually going on. That was made completely apparent when Genshin ignored the bullets. If he'd known what those had been then he would have paid more attention than he was. For the bullets transformed when they closed range with they're target. They turned to waves of a whitish blue energy. An energy that would freeze anything they came in contact with. Anything including the air Genshin may or may not be breathing. While the ice bore down on him from above, behind and below. Rifts opened in the air to both sides and in front of Genshin. From the rifts came three identical sword blades. Two sparking with electricity and one just plain. Cryovix jumped out of the way of the orbs. Rolling to his feet Cryovix looked over his shoulder at Genshin. "Soon. Very soon indeed."

Cryovix in his dodging noticed something. Ryu somehow nullified all energy based attacks so far. The way in which he did this gave Cryo an idea or two. Things may be more interesting than Cryovix thought. Cryo would need to test it again to be sure but if his assumption was true then Cryo may find a use for his belt after all. Cryo's entire body engulfed in a light that didn't blind but made him unseeable by the naked eye for a few seconds then it abated. In his hands he held four knives. Cryo threw these knives into the air as hard as he could. All four vanished into a mist. Several seconds later the knives reformed. One coming at Genshin from behind while a second came from above. The other two were aimed at two of the eyes chasing Cryovix. Cryo then dove again and shot two or three bullets from his pistols at some of the eyes around Genshin. Now it was time once again to stay out of the way of the eyes till his test results came in.

Cryovix grinning jumped back about a foot and then spun to the side. In a flash his sword was in hand once more and swinging towards the blades that had been aiming for him. Not waiting to see whether or not his weapon and done anything he launched towards Genshin with the same speed he moved with earlier on. His body blurred but was still visible. As he came within range he swung his sword at Genshin's right arm and followed through with a kick that would connect with his right shoulder. Cryo was excited. He hoped Genshin was more apt to physical conflict such as this rather than energies. It had been an exceptionally long time since he'd faced someone down with a sword.

Grinning Cryo looked back over at Genshin from about ten feet away. Cryo had never stopped moving and even if he had he was capable of going from excecptionally high speeds to still on a dime and can start with the exact same movement as when he stopped. Cryo had the ability to move much faster than he was at current but he had deemed his current speed good due to the fact that the rules of the tournament dictated he had to remain visible. Of course he didn't know what Genshin was used to and when the time came that Cryo could determine whether or not Genshin could handle faster movement he would increase.

Cryo had noticed Genshin's movements and had acted accordingly. When the sword thrust came Cryo moved a few inches to the right and turnded sideways. This allowed him to bypass the thrust. Cryo had also noticed the movement in the orbs. Due to that instead of following through with the kick he'd used Genshin's iron body as a dead weight and pushed off of him with his sword blade. Part of the electricty hit Cryo's right arm as he made his escape. His arm burned and blackened noticably but the rest of Cryo's body remained untouched. Cryo's arm nullified the electricity before it could make it much farther that to his shoulder. Cryo drew a knife in his left hand and attempted to stab his arm. There was the loud noise of metal on metal for a moment before Cryo resheathed his knife.

Grinning fire created a sheath around the sword blade that was about a millimeter thick but was so focused and compressed that the blade had the ability to cut through iron like butter. This being the case Cryo launched again this time Cryo went straight at Genshin and brought his sword down at an angle so that if it hit the blade would strike at the base of the left side of his neck and exit somewhere near the right side of his abdomen.

((Right so first off instantaneous movement is against the rules unless I misread them. If you got that somehow cleared with the Admin then I would like to know why everyone failed to inform me that it was allowed.

Secondly I'm getting really annoyed with you 'controlling' what I can and cannot do. It doesn't matter whether or not I'm in a shadow created by you that doesn't mean you can make me do anything. So your bit about me impaling myself on your sword and your sudden control over how fast I move and how quickly I can set myself in and out of motion is a load of bull as well. If its instantaneous then yes it would instantly be in my way but like you said thats in the one instant. Meaning that unless your prolonging this instantaneous bull past the moment which is most definately against the rules. Then I can react as I see it.

And since I'm calling you on your bull moves I'm going to call it on your magical ability to nullify any attack directed at you from anywhere. I can agree that me being on your turf gives you an edge but being immune to all physical and elemental attacks is somewhat out of hand. If you said your body is iron than a blade that is superheated to the point that its like magma wouldn't stop on the surface. I know I never said it was like magma but I do recall saying it would cut through most metals. Finally your not even making sense. I don't know if you meant to or not but I stabbed myself with the knife at ten feet away. The way your throwing it out you make it seem like I attacked you which I did not.

The way you've been playing up to this point is more than just a hinting at I'm stronger and theres nothing anyone can do about it. To top that off you call your blackhole thing a shadow and from the way things look you said your body is made of iron when neither of the above are what you say they are. You can't say its one thing and then play it off as another thing. Except in the case of actual verbal saying. You've nullified every attack elemental and physical and up till now I've just ignored it and played on but I draw the line at my being killed without having a say about it. I don't care whether there was no way out of it or not the fact that you just impale me like that is godmodding. So if you could explain some of that to me then we can get everything cleared up and rolling again.))

Even though the energy from Cryovix came at Genshin in a sudden notice, it was easily defused and started coursing through his blade, as if it was redirected by his sheer will alone. But, the damage was done, but the pain continued to fuel him more.

"Ha!" With the aid of the orbs, his left hand suddenly becomes encased by the orbs becoming blades making a claw-like state to thrust his left hand directly towards Cryovix's chest to lift the man directly up into the air as the blade PAIN executes its devastating attack.

Oblivion

The charge was complete, and successful, Cryovix should have interrupted sooner, but now with the blade at its full power, it creates its most destructive explosion yet. Pressing the blade directly towards Cryovix, Genshin aims the entirety of the attack at the point-blank range that was created due to Cryovix's maneuver and now... the thermal radiating energy explodes almost like a nuclear explosion.
