The fighting area is now much smaller than the previous arena type. 200 ft in radius, with a 100 ft in diameter platform in the center. The area between the platform and the high wall of the stands is 50 ft. There's something lying in this space other than usual sand and hard ground: water.

The water is no out of bounds, only the stands and beyond. However, the 6 ft thick platform is floating on top of water that is 30 ft deep, so the platform is bound to sway in balance whenever shifts of movement occur on its surface. Too much weight on one side can cause that side to become submerged in water for a few seconds before the balance resets itself.

Syre stood in his holding pin very nervously indeed. He had heard of this fighter, and he knew he was good. This would actually be a tricky one to win. And his opponent was sure not to give up. This would be a down right fist fight if he knew his opponent at all. Which technically, he didn't, but from what he had seen it should be a fist fight. A couple self motivation jumps and a few fist pumps and Syre was ready to go. The gate to his pin opened and exposed him to something that would not necessarily be a good thing. Water lots of it. The opposite of Syre's preferred element. Hmph no matter. Syre could use it to his advantage if it was played right. Enough thought. time to get down to the instinct. Lets get is on! Syre hopped up on to the arena and made his way to the center of it. When there he clenched and unclenched his fists once and awaited his opponent.

You cannot fuckin stop me! I will keep fighting!!

If the opponent wanted a fist fight, then this whole floating platform thing shouldn't be a problem. The fighters would meet in the center and keep it there if both had the balls to scrap correctly. Though Tres never thought it was smart to try to beat him at his own game, he knew the thought was cocky but Tres found it best to be overconfident than under.

The gate to Tres's pin came open. Tres would leap over the moat of water and land on the platform. He would time the jump so that he and his opponent met on the opposite ends at the same time to act as each others counterbalance upon the shifty platform. Tres would move towards the center at the same speed as the opponent but the difference was Tres's stance and footwork.

Tres would be in the traditional boxer's or kickboxers stance. There was nothing fancy or special about the way Tres fought. Tres was an orthodox fighter meaning he was left foot forward. Tres would keep his chin down and his hands up in front of his face. Tres's footwork was a quick and rapid shuffle. His lead foot would slide forward and his rear would follow in the same direction. He would never cross nor touch his feet, making sure to keep balanced at all times.

Tres would near the opponent in the center of the ring and upon doing so he would throw the jab (left hand) towards the opponents right eye while sliding his left foot forward. Tres had a long arm reach, so he wasn't required to get too close. For now he would stay on the outside.

**Well no words were to be exchanged then. At least not formally. Syre thought it would be necessary to have a conversation with his opponent this time though. His opponent didn't know of course what Syre thought of him, at least not yet. And so Syre was obliged to tell him but first there was a little matter that needed to be dealt with.

Syre watched as his opponent came closer in a stance ready to fight, all that really happened to Syre was he tensed. He would be ready to move at an instant, and that was what was needed. A left jab aimed at Syres face was the first punch to be throw. It was headed towards his head at a fast pace. No trouble though Syre brought both hands up at the same time along the center of his body. At about the stomach his left hand split off to the out side and continued up while his right hand stop near his chest after his left hand was high enough he swatted it to the side contacting his opponents wrist with his open palm. Even though it was an open palm it had a great amount of force behind it. Enough to push his opponents hand to the side at minimal making sure Syres face would not be hit, at maximum it would make his opponent lose balance and stumble to the outside. Most likely it would be a healthy recovery for his opponent though.

Just after Syre swatted Tres' hand away he brought his own left hand still open palmed to rest in front of his right hand and up as to protect his face. And in this stance Syre would speak. "Hello Tres. My name is Syrdust and I am an admirer of your hand to hand fighting prowess. I am honored that you are my opponent, and if you would be so kind as to oblige me, I would like you to teach me something. So no holding back please." It was said with a sincere tone and with that little request Syre heated up his body. It wouldn't be anything extreme but it would be enough to burn if Tres held on for just a second to long.**

WHAM!

The opponent reacted by bringing his guard up and parrying Tres's jab with his left hand to Tres's left side. The Jab was a quick attack that had little body momentum behind it. This allowed it to be recovered quickly despite hard parries and immediately upon being knocked off course the left hand would recover to his guard. Tres's stance was balanced and he could recover his left hand without having been knocked off balance with the parry who's target had little momentum behind it anyway.

Though Tres would not stop, he was working on a boxing combination.

Simultaneously with the connecting of the parry and the recovery of the left hand, Tres would throw a big right hook at the left side of the opponents face while sliding his right foot forward to complete the half step that was made behind the facade of the jab (in the previous post the jab was made with a forward movement of the left foot). This would put Tres in range for the right hook.

The right hook would be hard for the opponent to defend against because his left hand was in the motion of parrying. Also the right hook would come at the left side of the opponents face, putting it out of range to be easily blocked by the opponents right hand.

The counter clockwise twist of the body that came with the right hook would both increase the power of the right hook and increase the recovery time of the left hand. The right hook would be made with an open palm and if the punch landed Tres would use his large hands to grab on to the opponents skull. The gloves of Tres's hands had hard rough metal plates on them, increasing the power of the hooks impact.

The opponent probably would have done better by moving out of range before he began to speak. Now that the opponent had chosen to speak it may make it a bit more difficult to move out of the way. As Tres's hand cam close to the opponents face, the temperature seemed to increase slightly.

Tres was less worried about that though and more about winning this fight.

**Humph Syre had been attacked in the middle of his somewhat drawn out speech. Oh well his fault for talking during a fight. It seemed his opponent didn't much care for admiration. Well then time to retaliate. The punch was moving too quickly to block effectively so Syre would not block it he would take the open palmed attack. Or at least it would seem that way to his opponent.

Syre began to move as the hand came closer, but not straight down. He began to move himself in the direction his body would have when it was hit with the blow. So when the hand made contact it wouldn't land as hard as Syre was moving with its momentum rather then resisting it that and his opponent would not be able to preform any sort of grab on a falling opponent, or at least shouldn't be able to. The hand hit the left side of Syres head making contact with his cheek bone and Syre started his decent his feet seeming to slip out from under him. However they were not slipping, they were kicking. As Syre fell his left leg would move out to his left side his right leg following it a small distance behind, Syre kept his left leg straight and his right leg bent as his torso moved to the right in a falling motion and a bit before his torso should hit the ground Syre would twist a small amount and plant both his palms on the ground looking as if he caught himself. However these hand where to serve as the pivot point in an attack. As his hands touched down Syre kicked his left leg forward had and at the same time kicked off with his right leg supporting himself on his arms. The kick would move in a quarter circle his feet being the outer point and his arms being the middle. The whole point of the move was to sweep Tres' legs out from under him. If the move succeeded Syres feet should hook around Tres' ankles or just above on the sensitive tendon and when they were hooked or even if the moved missed when his feet got to the point they should Syre would pull his legs back under him moving him into a low crouch and hopefully his opponent onto the ground. It should have been hard for his opponent to see the move coming at all but who knew just how good Tres was.

Going back to the damage of the punch, it would be minimized. Syre would pay no attention to the small bruise on his cheek his body could take much more then that. Even a professional boxer would have a tough time trying to knock Syre out with straight unguarded punches. In this fight, the advantage of strength and endurance should belong to Syre, for a humans body had limits, Syre was not bound by those same limits.**

(Hey if you ever want me to respond quickly, I might be on another account. So tell me when you have posted either on this account or on 'Sieg ecstuffuan' and I'll reply immediatly.)

Tres's body was at the far limits of human capability and whatever else advantages the opponent had would have to be overcome by sheer technique or viciousness. The opponent should pray for the former and not the latter.

Tres was not one to think in a fight. Tres merely acted. He didn't need to think, 1000's of years of martial arts and war were implanted in his very DNA. The methods of hundreds of warriors who were of the ecstuffuan family ran through his blood. He was taught to fight by both his mother and father since he exited the womb. There was no need to think about what one already knew.

Immediately as the opponents body began to come down to the ground after rolling with the palm strike, Tres would in combination throw the left ' superman' overhand cross at the opponents falling face (the area between the nose and upper lip). Tres would with the punch thrust his upperbody down while kicking his legs up from the ground so that Tres would land on top of the opponent in the mount position. The mount position would have Tres straddling the opponents chest on his knee's.

The opponents kick would pass harmlessly beneath Tres's lifting legs. The kick of Tres's legs would add to the explosive nature of the superman attack, increasing the power of the left overhand cross to the opponents face. The target of the punch was a sensitive nerve and immovable joint (between the teeth and the upper jaw), making sure that it would hurt despite the opponents superhuman nature.

Tres was wore metal bearings on his fist that would increase the damage from the strike by a lot. As Tres through this strike he would continue to push down with his right hand against the opponents face, making sure that the back of the opponents head crashed hard into the floor.

If the punch landed Tres would recover his left hand and simultaneously, while in the mount position on top of the opponent he would slide his metal covered palm against the opponents face, likely causing small cuts, to get a better grip on it. He would then lift up the opponents head and begin to slam it down repeatedly into the floor until the opponent tapped out or hollered in pain.

**Oi not good. Syre knew what was coming and he was not partial to ground fighting. In fact if he could he would avoid it at all costs. Quick thinking was good but reflexes were better, and quicker. The kick Syre had used a moment ago ended as soon as his opponent jumped. Syres legs retracted back underneath him almost at the same time as Tres pushed his fist forward for the attack. There was one thing Syre knew, he didn't want to be on the ground with Tres. So Syre had to avoid this.

As Tres jumped the crowd fell into a muffled chatter as breaths were drawn in anticipation. This was sure to be a hard blow.

Syre ducked his head lower and forward to give him a bit more time and as he was moving his head he also extended his legs pushing him forward and under Tres with a very low to the ground roll. The crowd went wild. Acrobatics was a sure way to entertain and an effective way to dodge as well. However his roll had set them apart a bit and made the arena wobble a bit as well. No real trouble yet though. As soon as Syre had completed a full rotation he stood quickly and turned around. There was no way his opponent could have recovered and mounted a turned around counter attack in the time it took to get back to his feet. Syre returned to his stance, left hand slightly in front of his right at nose height guarding his face and his right hand below a bit guarding his chest, left foot forward.**

[That post was really confusing, so bear with me.]

You cannot fuckin stop me! I will keep fighting!!

RUN! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN! BUT YOU CANNOT ESCAPE!

The author had no idea what the opponent had just done, but from what he had gathered the last attempt had little chance of working, however, the author cared more about having a good fight than winning so it would be assumed that due to the opponents superhuman capabilities. Something had happened and he narrowly escaped.

However, Tres just wasn't going to let the opponent go without a scratch. The opponent in his post would retract his legs back under his body after the kick just before he would hit the ground. The opponent would somehow at the same time as falling backwards due to the outwards kick, duck his head lower (towards Tres from his perception) and forward. There would be a slight problem with this. Tres's right hand was still on the opponents face pushing down slightly to the left. The movement of his head, and the rest of his upperbody, would therefor be blocked.

The opponents legs after recovering from kicking out would pull back in, assuming with his knee's going to his chest. By kicking out he would push forward in the direction of his head and upperbody movement to perform a sort of roll. As said in the previous paragraph, this movement would be blocked now, also by the impact of Tres's left fist crashing into his face.

So still regardless of the opponents split second movement his head would hit the ground with a loud crack. The resistance that the opponent put into it, in order to roll away would propel Tres's body up and over him despite failing the roll all together. Tres would land some distance away gracefully through the use of great acrobatics in his stance. The arena would wobble a bit but no real trouble yet though. Tres would begin to move forward towards the opponent immediately upon landing with proper footwork, not waiting for him to get up.

The reason the author thought that the flip wouldn't work anyway, was because to complete a low to ground roll during the milliseconds it would take for there bodies to hit the ground was stretching it a lot. There was a possibility however that the opponent was attempting to turn to Tres's right and roll away in that direction (your post was confusing on which direction exactly you were going forward, to the right (your left), or maybe backwards, all three would be impossible), ala stop, drop, and roll. In such case, the right hand would still obstruct that direction of movement and the pulling in of the legs would make this harder.

So yeah...No.

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

10Norian Darkeyes

Syre's plans were stopped short. As he attempted to roll forward there was a great resistance in the hand that still touched the side of his face. What a bother. Syre was pushed back and down towards the ground. Time to react with the circumstances.

-Thud!-

**Syre's head hit the arena with a sickening sound. But as it did Syre rolled backwards knocked his hand away from his rolling body with a foot that was coming up.

Tres landed and quickly positioned back into stance, left foot forward, as Syre finished his roll and came back around to his feet moving into his own stance. There was a dull throbbing in the back of his head now. Even Syres hard skin would have been cut by that impact to the arena. As an assurance Syre quickly touched the back of his head where he had hit the ceramic tiles. As he brought his hand back around he saw the blood. He smiled to himself, and licked the fingers that had blood on them. There was still a lot of fight to go.

As Tres advanced Syre would not wait this time. He would move forward and meet Tres, shuffling forward in his stance never crossing or touching his feet together. As soon as Syre was with in striking range he would bring his right hand down to chamber position and from there it would move forward aiming for his opponents sternum in the form of an uppercut punch. Whether the blow would hit or not Syre would immedatly bring his hand back to guard position, open palmed in front of his chest, and his left had would stay guarding his head open palmed as well.**

Tres would immediately perform what was known in the martial arts as a stop hit. The stop hit was a technique that struck while the opponent was telegraphing an attack. The opponent was making text book martial arts mistakes that would identify him as being way out of Tres's league.

The opponents mistake was that he telegraphed his attack by performing one movement and then attacking. If you watched how Tres attacked, he never telegraphed his moves or gave any clue about when he would strike...he would just strike.

Just like this,

To perform the stop hit, immediately as the opponent chambered his arm, Tres would throw a jab. The jab would come towards the opponents right eye so that it would come in at an angle that would be difficult to defend with with the opponents left hand. The jab would snap out in a single motion that was preceded by none other.

In the sudden explosive punch, Tres would step forward with his left foot, putting its position somewhere in front of the opponents right foot. The jab would startle the opponent as much as it would hurt due to the snapping power of the attack fortified by the opponents metal covered fist.

Tres's right hand would be up in front of his jaw in a boxers guard however, the forearm of the right arm would be in front of his sternum. The opponents own attack would be thrown after the jab since the jab was thrown during the chamber. The opponents right handed punch would collide harmlessly with his right forearm.

Tres however knew the opponent had superhuman reflexes and was watching for that left hand to defend against the jab.

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

12Norian Darkeyes

**Even though Syre had telegraphed his move, and knew this, it allowed for some extra power as his body shifted with the chamber and then extended with the punch. Even though Syre saw the jab coming he would continue with his right hand and his right hand would make contact with the middle of his opponents forearm. The punch was indeed that of a deadly variety, right now about 1500 pounds of pressure was being distributed in that small forearm bone. If Tres' forearm could withstand that much pressure without breaking, it would indeed indicate superhuman bone structure. The femur of a fighter, one of the strongest bones in the body, can withstand approximately 1400 psi, and the forearm bones, the radius and ulna, should not be able to withstand anywhere near that much pressure. In short, Tres' arm should snap like a twig.

As for the incoming punch Syre would have to take it. He had put a lot behind that punch and was not ready to guard properly against his opponents punch. At about the same time as Syre's fist collided with his opponents forearm Tres' own fist would collide with Syres right upper cheek bone. The metal barring would easily split the skin allowing the blood to poor out of Syre face.

The crowd cheered for this. Unlike his previous wound which was hid by his hair, this blood was visible, and the crowd loved it.

As both fists hit there designated landing areas Syre stepped back quickly bringing his fast in with him. With one step back putting about three feet of space between them. Syre then drew his dagger into his left hand and drew his sword with his right swinging it in front of him as he drew preventing his opponent from advancing. Not that his opponent should be advancing. Right about now the pain and realization of his right arm should be coming into his brain. With this Syre would stand ready with his sword in his right hand and dagger in his left. Tres' outmatched Syre in hand to hand combat a great deal, and so Syre had to resort to weaponry. Hopeful his opponent stayed unarmed as this would give Syre the reach advantage with his sword adding a good three feet to his reach.**

13Tres Ecstuffuan

You cannot fuckin stop me! I will keep fighting!!

What the fuck?

Tres's forearms were covered in Bracers created by his mother, Athena Ecstuffuan. Athena was not only a great martial artist but she was also a powerful sorcerer. Athena with the help of Sieg Ecstuffuan constructed a set of bracers for there son that would help him in the defense against the supernatural. These bracers were unseen beneath Tres's sleeved leather jacket, but they were most certainly there and they were fashioned to give powerful resistance against supernatural attacks.

So yeah, NO U.

So now that it was shown that the opponent was using powers, Tres was not going to be nice anymore. It was time to start fucking faces. Tres was not going to give him that one step back. Immediatly after landing the jab before the opponent stepped back, Tres would throw the second attack in the combination.

Tres would throw the low right muay thai round house kick to the outside of the opponents left knee. The blow would hit with Tres's greave covered shin. In the kick Tres would turn with his hips and on the balls of his left foot. The kick would be hard to see coming because it would come in at a tight arc that would make the kick faster and more powerful because Tres would bend his left knee to sink his weight into the blow.

The kick was intended to take advantage of the fact that the opponent didn't use proper footwork during the step back and to sweep his feet out from under him. Being swept would ofcourse interrupt his drawing of the dagger. If the opponent was not swept and the blow still landed it had a large chance of breaking even a superhumans leg. Tres was not super human but he was the alpha male of humans, the strongest...and to some who did not know of the limits of man...that was superhuman.

If he did however manage to take out his weapon, Tres would block the blow with the opponents sword with his right forearm and keep his left at the ready. He would then in south paw stance after setting down the kick, who's tighter arc allowed it to recover quickly, step back away from the opponent with his shuffling footwork.

"Hmph."

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

14Norian Darkeyes

**Syre was shocked that his opponent did not even flinch at the punch. It was incredible that the punch even actually managed to hurt Syres hand a bit even threw his own padded metal gauntlets. Syre did not get much time to think about that though.

As he was drawing his dagger his opponent sent a kick his way a lower aimed kick at that. So there was but one thing to do. Syre checked the kick bringing his shin upward to meet his opponents shin. Syres titanium grieves should provide enough protection against his opponents own grieves. After the kick Syre still set his checking leg back and took his step back along with unsheathing his sword in an attack like fashion, which his opponent promptly blocked.

Man Tres was tough. Syre knew this would be hard but he had not even been able to hit Tres a once with any results. Well time for more offence then he guessed. Syres hands heated past the normal degree of heat the rest of his body was constantly emitting and the heat was carried throughout his sword and dagger turning them red. Most things were softer when they were red hot, but not Syres sword or dagger, they where forged of a special material found only in hell. So nether his sword or dagger would lose strength and they would both stay just as sharp.

Because it seemed that Tres was not going to let Syre step back Syre would then try to step forward. He shoved his front (left) leg forward in a crude kick attempt which would serve as to put him forward whether his opponent would move at him or not. At the same time Syre would also shunt his red hot sword forward in a stab at his opponents chest, while holding his dagger blade down in his left hand up near his face elbow in, ready to strike. Tres would have to dodge the sword for there was nothing supernatural about his sword other then it could withstand great heat. As for the heat itself it lost all supper naturalness as it entered the blade, the blade simply became hot like a conductor rod taking on energy. Just how hot was the blade? Hot enough to melt most metals it came in contact with that was for sure, and easily hot enough to cut threw flesh and bone alike.**

15Tres Ecstuffuan

You cannot fuckin stop me! I will keep fighting!!

cling!

The opponent had finally responded correctly. The check was probably the best way to defend against a low kick. Tres would set his foot down after the kick was checked, putting him in south paw stance. Tres would make a shuffle step forwards remaining in south paw stance as his opponent would step forward.

Simultaneously with Tres's step forward he would react to the opponents dual attack of a heat blade stab and a left thrust kick. The blade was red hot obviously and Tres would take note and react accordingly.

Tres would turn his body in a counter clockwise turn so that his chest would face to the left and his right shoulder would be closer to the opponent. Tres's left hand would sweep out to his left to parry the opponents left thrust kick outwards, the palm of the hand would slide along the leg as he got closer. At the same time he would lean back (to the opponents left). Also in the same instance Tres's right hand would reach to grab the opponents left knife holding hand wrist with his right hand.

The movement of Tres's body would cause the inside of the left side jacket to fly open. The sword would pass into the left flap of his jacket and pass into the thick leather material of the jacket. Leather was not a material that was easily melted due to its thickness and though it was not invincible it would hold the sword for long enough to end this fight.

Tres would then suddenly thrust up his left knee a short distance in a way that would cause the hidden machete sheath's on his left leg to release there weapon. The machete would jut up into Tres's left hand grasp. The machete would then move in a stab down through area between the opponents neck and right side clavicle.

With Gaian medicine he would not die, but that was the thing about Tres. He didn't like when people drew weapons because it basically said 'yeah I intend to kill you'.

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

16Norian Darkeyes

**Syre had no intention of killing. Gain medicine was an amazing thing not only that but Syre could stop any bleeding wounds himself on the spot. At least if he was conscious to do so. Tres' counter was to good to be true. There were almost no ways around getting stabbed. Syre was outmatched that much was for sure. However, both Tres' hands were occupied by his holding Syres dagger hand, and his stabbing at him. This left his upper body open. Leather would not hold his blade in place hardly at all as stabbing and melting it simultaneously meant a very quick in and out. So Syre would aim for a compromise.

As Tres' machete came forward Syres blade went to the side. He wouldn't have to move it far to hit Tres' as the sword was just to the side of him, despite the close proximity it would not lack power however. It would be aiming to cut into Tres horizontally with a bit of an angle due to Tres' position. If the attack were to hit it should cleave into his side enough to wound him seriously but not enough to hit any major organs, not in far enough to kill him. From there it would be retracted back towards Syre. Syres blow should land at about the same time as Tres' own, considering how fast Syre could move his sword. It was like a mere rapier in his hands. Over 1000 years of fighting with it and his strength made it more a part of him then his own fists. Dodging or blocking Syres attack would be near impossible.

Though Syre did intend to take the hit, he did not intend for it to land as Tres wanted it to. As Syre slid his blade threw the air to the side he also leaned forward a bit. Syre felt the cold hard bite of steel in his back, his right shoulder blade to be exact. The machete did not make it in far however. It made it a bit into the shoulder blade bone but not past it. Syre grimaced in pain. Luckily the machete had made contact with an area that did not have a lot of muscle to cut through but it still had some. It would weaken his sword arm a bit, but it shouldn't matter. Syres own blade should have done its damage with any luck.**

After running the machete through the mans body as best as he could Tres's left hand would smoothly release the blade and follow through in its downward course of motion. He needed to save himself from nearly being cut in half. The hot sword would bite into his body, there was no avoiding that but smoothly after making the stab into the opponents body, Tres would pull the machete out causing the wound the bleed more.

Tres would turn his body in a counter clockwise motion after the stab, pulling his body away from the sharp hot sword. As he did so he would place the machete so that the flat would be in contact with the sharp end of the hot sword and so that he could begin to push the opponents weapon away with the flat of the machete. The machete was made out of pure carbon steel and it would not melt quickly either. The wounds that syre had created had all been cauterized and Tres could simply ignore the pain with his high will power.

Tres would quickly move away (back, to your left) with a bouncing footwork that would allow him to retreat quickly. Tres didn't like that the man had tarnished his expensive leather jacket, never mind the nasty burns that made a line across Tres's pectorals and the cauterized wound that went along his side under his arm. One thing the opponent would notice is that Tres's skin seemed thicker than others and possessed a leathery quality.

Tres would twirl his short machete to swing the blood off of it while he would casually walk in an arching path around the opponent, changing angles and waiting to see how the opponent responded. Tres seemed fairly serene for a man who had just been born, the expression of his face reflected boredom. It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

**The crowd cheered again. Not much blood from Tres' as the wounds had already cauterized but they had seen the blade strike him. Syre had his own tricks down pat however, and as soon as his opponent had stepped away he touched his dagger to the his own wound stopping the blood flow. Not to much blood had been lost and there was plenty to spare. The heat would not bother Syre in the least, to him heat was like watter at room temperature. Merely a texture.

The damage had been done, good, a mark on his opponent. The man was human, if only just barley. His opponent showed no expression of pain, but that was to be expected. Most warriors could ignore even staggering amounts of pain. But there was one draw back of this. Even though you could ignore the pain your body is still hindered by the effects of the wound you sustained. And after enough pain your body would succumb to the effects and give up. Syre took his own pain and shoved it into the back corridors of his own mind.

All the while that Tres moved Syre kept his eye on him he even turned with him. By now his sword was held with one hand up pointing at his opponent also following his direction like a compass pointing north. Though Tres' expression would show boredom, Syre would smile at his opponent, not a cocky or mocking smile, but one of sheer enjoyment. There was nothing better in this world then a worthy opponent. Syre was not sure, but he thought that the machete had been in contact long enough to at least gotten some nice scorch marks if not had some damage done as well.

With the time that Tres had given him Syre would take another step forward and playfully jab with his sword at his opponents right pectoral. The jabbing motion would be very quick with not a lot of power. More of a testing move then anything, and as soon as the sword was at where it should have met the opponents jacket, it would be brought straight back into easy maneuvering range. Much like a snake bite.**

Tres would shuffle step back and parry the quick the left hand machete. He would strike the tip of the sword with the thick blade of the machete to his left (your right). The sword seemed to be made of a very hard metal rather than a flexible one, so the vibrations and shock from the parry would be violent against the opponents pained right arm that would instinctually seek to control the blade. Striking the opponents sword with the shorter and thicker (heavier) machete blade would hurt the opponents weapon control the most. Simultaneously Tres right hand would reach behind his back and his waist would turn some to the left.

The step backwards would shift the weight on the platform and cause the end that Tres faced to rise. Tres after the step would bend his knees, sinking his weight so that he could maintain his position. This would possibly result in the opponents momentum being increased, pushing the opponent to move closer to Tres.

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

**Syre felt the parry hard against his sword jarring it to the right. Syre let the sword fall to right until it hit the floor. Resisting and trying to control the blade with his injured muscles was not worth the trouble.

When the sword tip hit the ground the vibrations traveled in to the arena instead of to his arm, and also as the tip hit the ground Syre would take into account the shifting arena. He jumped, and turned his body horizontally, with the horizontal turn he also spun and stuck his legs out. At this rate one foot should come in contact with his opponents head and the other should come down on his shoulder, from there it would be an easy matter to make his next move. His spinning feet would be hard to follow as they probably looked like blurs he was spinning quite fast, that would protect his lower body. If Tres tried to shove his machete in the whirring blur it would probably be knocked out of his hand coming in contact with a grieve or a metal plated boot. As for his upper body defence Syre had drawn his sword in and held it in front of his chest as if he were a knight in his grave providing somewhat of a shield for his upper body. Though he shouldn't have to worry about his upper body anyway it was out of Tres' reach even with the machete. If Tres should move Syre would simply land on his feet not disorientated in the least.**

So wait, how did you draw the sword in after it was disarmed from you?

but anyway, yeah...

The opponent after Tres parried the sword out of his hand with his left hand machete would leap forward with the momentum of the tilt of the platform, spinning (counter clockwise?) at such speeds that would send his body into a blur. The mans speed may have confused Tres' eye sight but his other accute senses would prepare him.

Tres's left arm would rise to use the forearm to block the strike coming in down at at his shoulder (left leg?) while simultaneously he would lean backwards while turning his own waist in a counter clockwise turn to the left. The lean backwards would cause the opponents attack to the head (right leg?) to miss.

Tres's left hand would immediately after the foot passed its target, he would grab onto the ankle of the opponents blocked left leg and pull. Opponents body would would still have its forward momentum and in a show of absolute human perfection Tres would use his previously bent knee's to jump forward into the air, lifting up his legs so that his body would arrive parallel above the opponents. Tres would have allowed the opponents body to continue turning so that his back would pointing up and exposed to Tres. Because of the lateness of Tres's jump his chest would be in contact with the opponents back, but this was good, because now the opponents body wouldn't be turning.

Tres had to act quickly in this small window of time, but he was prepared and that would make all the difference. Tres had previously reached behind his back with his right hand, he didn't do this for style purposes. If the opponent noticed something about Tres's weapon fighting style, he only drew his weapon when he could kill with it. Tres would draw a knife from behind his back, the legendary ka-bar military knife. He would then begin stabbing the opponent erratically along the area between his right side obliques and abdomen.

Simultaneously his left hand would switch the grip in his left hand to an ice pick grip and stab down into the area between the opponents left arm bicep and shoulder this would prevent him from trying to fight back with the knife and most likely ending this fight.

After this lightning fast large simultaneous action Tres would tuck his body into a front flip and twist so that as there bodies seperated from contact in there individual flights he would land stylishly in his stance facing the opponent.

He now held his arms low but with his blades in front of his chest, parallel, remiscient of his unarmed boxing stance.

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

**As soon as Syre stopped spinning he knew it was time. Throughout the whole match he had been waiting biding his time, readying an attack that would likely end this match. Tres had seen some superhuman capability's of Syre's but now it was time to show his his true power.

When Syre felt Tres' chest on his back in mid air with no where for ether of them to go he shut his eyes and unleashed his own little piece of hell on to the earth. From the arena floor just below the pair a pillar of flame ascended. It was pure white in color. The color was not from the heat of the thing but it was plenty hot enough, hot enough in fact to burn Tres on contact. If you put your hand in an average fire in your living room fire place it would probably get burnt, this was no ordinary living room fire it was hotter then that. The pillar rose and engulfed them in under a second and within three it was gone. But that would be plenty of time to cook Tres' skin and leave him scared. Tres' would not die but he would deafeningly be out of the match if he was hit with this. No one could move properly with the entirety of there skin burnt, even Tres' leather jacket would not be able to hold out and would likely catch on fire. If Tres' could maneuver in the air and emerge unscathed from this, it would be quite the feat Syre himself, who knew the attack was coming, could not avoid it at all. It would be nearly impossible to move out of the way in under a second while lying prone in mid air.

The flame subsided and Syre had managed to turn and land on his feet using the heat to move himself. As for Syres own injuries, his previous wounds were all still visible but as far as burns, there were none. Syre was protected from this gift of his. Unfortunately his shirt was not. It was burnt, entirely gone from his body. Syre had however been sensible enough to fire proof his pants, grieves, boots, and gauntlets however and they remained. As for Tres' if he had fallen, he would be on the ground behind him, if he had not he could be anywhere in the arena and Syre would not know. He needed a moment to recover from that attack himself.**

Ok so no Barrel Roll this time.

Because, that would make Tres Omniscient.

Ok, so as Tres was making his initial attacks the first stab with the right hand knife and the downward thrust into the mans shoulder with the left hand, suddenly without Tres expecting it, a blast of hot air would slam him in the body because of the sudden and sharp increase of temperature.

Due to Tres's forward momentum and rising legs, this would increase the momentum of his body with the blast of air causing him to be knocked forward due to the angle of his bodies position, pushing him into a forward front flip. Tres would hold on to his weapons, the knife would be ripped out of the mans body due to the sudden blast of air while the left hand machete would be broken off into the mans shoulder.

Tres would twist in the mid air so that he could land facing his opponent and once again he would say, "Ass hole", because meta-humans always tended to rely on there powers when the going got tough. As he would speak he would throw the end of his broken machete hilt at the opponent. The ends of Tres's dreads would be singed but the rest of his body was alright. The hot air didn't really effect him because Tres had trained in the martial arts around the multiverse so he had felt the heat of the elemental plane of fire and the nine hells of baator.

Tres would draw his other machete and begin moving again towards the opponent with the shuffle step in his stance.

It won't be over until...! YOU! HIT! THE! GROUND!

Well as it happened Syre got unlucky enough get an opponent that could read minds and was a bit omniscient to boot. It seemed for the actions in the previous few seconds were definitely impossible. There was no way Tres could have seen Syres eye to know they had closed as Tres was on Syres back first of all. Second of all you cant go back in time and undo what you did before as the attack should not have been stopped only pained you could still follow trough with all the necessary actions but decided you suddenly did not like them.

((....would end his mid air flurry early and would instead..... this is seems to me like a godmoding combination of these godmoding archetypes: Miss Cleo, Revisionist, and maybe a wee bit of this McFly. Descriptions and examples of these are located here. First page: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/barton-town/hell-s-stride-chartres-cathedral/t.35709799/

I would like a judge to come look at it please and if he sides with you Tres, then you win. As there is no way i could avoid your new attacks. =] ))

OOC:

Ooh boy, here we go.

Anyway.

You interrupted so therefor its not revisionist. Nothings gonna stop that big blast of hot air from knocking me out the way, I just started the barrel roll shit to make it look cool.

but seriously though, fine, I'll edit out all the questionable stuff.

The blast isn't going to touch him anyway, Tres isn't stationary over your body, he has forward momentum and his legs are going up...

ahh, but anyway, I'll show you in the edit.

edit:

Alright, done editing. Now please, no insta-kill attempts please its a bit...I don't know...

Also keep in mind your body moving in the opposite direction. So that would cause the blast to be even more inaccurate.

((Heh alright sorry Tres. I retract all my accusations on your the part of you god modding. I wouldn't have normally even brought it up except that I was sore about your insults. I was relying on my powers because that's what Syre does. I figured this was another tournament full of hard hitting magic using big heads I was wrong lol. Next time ill bring my fist fighter. =] Again I apologize. ))

Syre would instead of landing on both feet land kneeling. As Tres advanced Syre slumped over and put his left hand on the ground, his dagger underneath his open hand. His right hand he would raise with his sword still in it as if to signal a stop motion. Shakily Syre would rise to his feet cringing as the pain in his side and his shoulders washed over him. Yet still after he would manage to smile. "I submit Tres, you win!" He would shout. And with that he would bow, fall onto his back side and wait till the judge said he could go. He should have time to be healed for his second bracket match. If he even had a second bracket match. He couldn't hardly remember now. Hmm oh well. Tres had proved to be to much of a human for Syre to handle.

(( The blast only covered my body because I told it to >.< I can put it where I want to a limit. Also it is 5ft by 5ft in a circle not that this has any prevalence anymore lol ))

Don't take it seriously Tres isnt as nice as sieg about those type of things. I was just playing my character more or less. Sorry if you felt insulted.

I liked the fight for the most part, cept for that last attack. It just seemed like a cheap way to take a guy out ya know?

30Tres Ecstuffuan

"Shit...you broke my machete. Yo submitting is fine and all. Good Game I guess, but lemme borrow your sword till the end of the tournament I may need it against that spooky guy."

Tres asked. Cept for the cursing he seemed relatively polite but maybe a bit overconfident. Tres would sheath his weapons and bow after he spoke. He then would return to a neutral pose with his hands lounging inside of his pockets, waiting for his answer.

"Oh I'll give it back. I'm not much of a sword guy anyway"

31Norian Darkeyes

Syre stared at his opponent wondering if he was joking. Then it dawned upon him, Tres was serious. Syre began to laugh a bit and then a bit harder but it died down quickly. "And what do you propose I do about the rest of my fights hmm?" Syre was all for letting Tres borrow his sword but he may need it. That and there were parameters on his sword and dagger the didn't allow others to take them with ease. Syre supposed he could take the main one off his sword though. He reached behind him and with a rather hard yank and a grunt pulled out the machete blade, while waiting for an answer then he proceeded to seal the wound in his side with his dagger and some added heat.

"Oh yeah. You have more fights. Nevermind then. Ok...Seeya"

Tres said as he walked towards the exit on the floating platform casually.
