Description: Though Midus knew there was a storm approaching, instead of closing the ceilings of the fighting arenas, he has instead decided to keep them open to add an interesting aspect to the next round. Instead of a nice, warm sunny day, the fighters would instead be fighting in the harsh condition of ten mile per hour winds that will sometimes gust to thirty mph, heavy rain drops (though not disturbing enough to cause total distraction to sight; maybe 20% reduction), and the occasional thunderbolt lighting up the skies. To help make the arena more comfortable for the fighters, the floor has been turned into low cut grass to help keep traction. However, if the ground is dug up too much, mud and dirt will be added to the terrain.

Despite the weather, the crowd of people have come to watch the fight, wielding umbrellas over their heads.

Special Conditions: Fire is a bit weaker here since it'll be harder to start up one without the rain putting it out. And electricity will get a bigger boost in strength, though it will also short out much faster than if wielded normally by the fighters who possess it.

Field Measurements: Ring: 70 yard diameter

Ten Count Boundary: As soon as a fighter enters the bleachers, the count begins. The flying rule remains, as well.

"Lovely day for a fight; No?"

Though the crowd seemed fairly prepared for the weather, they still couldn't have wanted to stay out here too long. Em felt that way at least; to the point of hoping he could not only do better this round; but finish, if not win early.

Last round was a disappointment; yes; what with the good thrashing he got in. Though, really; he couldn’t argue at any rate. Got a necklace out of it, if nothing else but the loss.

When the designated gates for his corner opened; and the officer strolled out; he heard nothing but cheering. Probably wasn’t for him; but it still felt good. Enough so for him to suck in the vibrational energy that the entire arena put out. Granted he already drew chi from the air; he was starting to notice that a building full of living folks with complete attention on him, and one other; was very much enough so to make the usual residual energies around him palpable.

Still; the six foot maroon eyed; stoic officer would just make his way slowly out to what he considered the middle of the field. At a slow stroll; he stepped lightly over the wet grass through the rain. His vision was only going to be slightly skewed because of his hat. He was more so worried about footing, and traction; though the same hazards would obviously apply to the foe.

“I suppose it’ll be fine..”

Mumbled to himself as he cleared his mind of Chitta. This allowed him to begin focusing on the area around him. Stretching out his awareness to gather as much information on the weather and arena as possible. So now standing out there; hands at his sides; drenched, and looking rather stupid with his eyes closed; the dhampir would just wait.

Feeling around for a opponent so he could mark those energy signatures first thing.

3We Came To Fight

As Elliot entered slight and quiet whispers would stir in the crowd, totally inaudible to anyone but their intended listener under the roar of the storm brewing overheard. These whispers would grow and snowball into the loud, yet mixed reactions of the crowd, some hissing, others cheering, most doing what the guy next to him was doing while still wondering who Elliot was.

His previous bout had left him unconscious, defeated by his brother, and partner in crime Bishop, but it was expected. Elliot was always the brains of the outfit. He was a fighter too of course, but to a slightly lesser extent, and so the match that ended with both of them passed out on the floor left Elliot with slightly fewer points.

But today brings a new match. Elliot had eaten his Wheaties and was packing his A-Game. He also brought his weapons, what appeared to be a katana sheathed at his left hip and kama held firmly in his right hand. He ditched the chain that usually accompanied the weapon, and dropped it on the ground, slightly uncoiled. Swinging ten feet of steel over head in a thunderstorm probably wasn't a good call.

Keeping the cloud cover in mind, and knowing how it would affect his abilities, his free hand would tear off his t-shirt, exposing the the tattoo that ran across his back. The calligraphy read "Phlegethon" in black ink across the Hispanic's, brown back, now wet from the rain. His skin felt the touch of rain as well as the few ambient energies of the sun that permeated the clouds. Wearing only his cargo shorts and gym shoes, the lack of clothing would make him lighter and less bogged down then his fully dressed opponent, who was becoming more and more visible with each step. "A cop?" Elliot, thought freezing in his steps. Was this a set up? Nah, couldn't be. He spent his whole life avoiding arrest, but making up a tournament just to bring him in seemed a bit too...over the top. So this guy was his opponent? A Durem gang-banger was put up against a pig? Oh hhhhhail naw'. Elliot grinned with anticipation and approached the man who seemed to be dozing off. Elliot kept his guard up as he extended his free hand to the man and introduced himself. "Name's Elliot Pope."

{-shishaa-}

As soon as the young man was within the arena, Em caught sight of him. Well not literal sight, but analogous sight. His mind noted the energy differences; and marked them thusly as his opponent. Maroon optics snapped open on the gang members walk over to his position.

Along that short period of time; he would note the effects of the weather on his coat. Only to pull it off, and fold it up with amazing precision and timing. Only to toss it down before undoing his tie and throwing that too off to the side. Both of those were only going to get in the way with a gang banger.

Much less a T.F.O.A. Affiliate. Yep, Em had tussled with ‘em before. Twice in fact. Still; he’d have to tilt his head and stare at that hand when it was offered. Wondering if he should shake it and risk such with a opponent whom had close to no moral values.

“Em…You ready?”

That was as polite as any introduction was gona be. Not shaking, but at least offering a name. Still; he’d slide his legs out slightly into a ‘high horse stance’ while his arms moved up in front of his persons. Even if his foe had intended a cheap shot, Em would do no such thing.

He was gona whup this kid. Fair and square at that. If only for the pride of his usual duties, and the fact that it was just in the eyes of the law and this tournament.

By all means though; Em was prepared for the whole few moments that they stood in front of each other. He was watching hip placement, and footing mostly, though via his third eye, he’d be watching the entire heat signature of the young man in his mind. A spiritual targeting system if you will.

A good alternative to sight in the stifling weather as well.

5We Came To Fight

Elliot grinned as he put the hand away. This guy was on edge, paranoid as all cops seemed to him, though probably not without good reason. TFOA usedto be his affiliates, but were now just as much Elliot's enemy as they were Em's. Elliot was brought up in the street as much as he was the dojo, so unlike the others he did have some manners, and often found himself in a conflict of morals. He would alternate from bowing to nut-shots like the flip of a coin.

Seeing the man take-up a fighting stance Elliot would do the same. Stepping back to put some distance between the two, Elliot's right side would lead as his body turned parallel to Em's, his feet hip length apart. He raised his weapon, the kama now in his left hand. Not to strike, but to bring it into view, as if to remind the man that he was so far unarmed. This was the only kind gesture Em would receive. Elliot had usually kept in league with men who killed cops and innocents more often then they brushed their teeth. Elliot rarely took part himself, but still would have no qualms against carving the man up, in fact he looked forward to it. "Whenever you are. Buena suerte* officer" He spoke, his tone clearly mocking.

(* "good luck")

{You too sir. ^_^} With the distance between them, Em could focus on the air and his center; so he could suck in a deep calm breath. Drawing vast amounts of chi from the molecules and residual energies of the crowds attention within the air. Just as he planned to do for this whole tournament; Em’s body naturally converted the energy into his own vampiritic useable version [+1*]

His surface swirled with air slightly; the inert energy becoming manifest there within his near undead skin. With that as that; he’d reach his right and left hand back behind his persons. Unsnapping two clips on the back of his belt.

“I asked you first? Right?”

The kid basically had one chance to guess what was coming forward apparently. Being the one to two ratio that currently held against him. ’Cause the officer wasn’t budging from the dry divots his shoes had created from his energy in the grass. His stance was half more solid then his foes now because of the basic effects of his powers on the vessel.

Not to mention rain would be sliding off his persons abnormally; only 50% of the drops actually making it to his clothing.

Oh; Did I mention he was smiling at the thug? With a cheery disposition even? [*1 charge in pool]

7We Came To Fight

Elliot had been building up his own charge of sorts. The sun's energies that broke through clouds were taken in on his bare skin and metabolized. He had been doing so since he entered the ring, but to a much lesser extent, though now, in the calm during the storm he would draw in consciously.

He studied Em for a second. He didn't seem as soaked as he should have been, due to magic no doubt. A waste of energy in Elliot's eyes. So long as he could see his opponent he was fine. His medium length hair helped that for now, curling up as it absorbed the water that fell on his head, keeping most of the excess away from his eyes. The ground wasn't too bad either. If he refrained from the cartwheels and spinning kicks he shouldn't have much of a problem with his footing. The unpredictability of one's movements and reactions in the varying terrain kept things interesting. Leave it to the cop to take the overly safe, boring and predictable route. Yawn.

Elliot watched as the man moved to produce his weapons. As both hands went behind him, Elliot would find his opening. His free, lead hand would release a torrent of red concussive force hurtling towards the man's lower stomach. It looked and acted like a laser of sorts, however instead of burning, it "pushed," like a torrent of water from a fireman's hose. This particular blast pushed with strength stronger than a punch, yet weaker than a kick, over a space the size of a baseball. And it was fast. Real fast. He hoped it would knock the goofy ass smile off the doughnut-eater's face.

Elliot would then rush in to follow up, he exact movements depending on his opponent's reaction to his surprise attack.

Whilst watching his hips and feet with his eyes; Em’s mental eye alerted him to energies building, and being launched. During the actual manifestation of the attack; the officer would side step to his left with his right behind his left foot. Only to follow through by sliding his left foot with him and forward slightly.

This would allow him to fluidly dodge the minor attack; Only so he could pull forth two objects in either hand.

-SHICK! Jingle-jingle-

Three feet of ass kick extended from his left hand in the form of his baton; while a set of cuffs appeared in his right. Hanging from the single cuff he was gripping. That grin hadn’t left, though it wasn’t there for mock at any rate. Em just enjoyed combat. Such was why he cleared his mind of all distractions before such.

Another deep inhale; drawing energy now from his own residual manifested particles and the bountiful air circling around him with the whipping winds. Another thing to keep in mind was that now rain drops were starting to get at him. Not much mind ya; but enough to eventually put a damp sheet on his persons. The water held it’s own unique energies in it from the clouds. Pretty soon he could begin drawing on that when the layer got thick enough. [+1 charge]

Despite what protocol dictated in his mind; he decided to just start walking toward the lad. Lumbering more so. Baton held loosely yet ready at his left side. Cuffs hanging slightly behind his persons though still at his right side. Nothing abnormal went through his mind. Nothing but various movements and available tactics; possible moves that his foe could make with various selections of his weapons.

For now Maroon eyes just held to the target; a single third eye watching his heat signatures and any energy build up that may remain or come. Once that distance closed; Em would kick off his assault. [*2 charges in pool]

The mofo had dodged his surprise attack, but it was all good. Ell was about to be all over this guy like stink on pig.

While Em was busy breaking his wide horse stance to swiftly dodge a beam of energy, Elliot was advancing, running, though being careful not to lose footing. He intended to follow-up on his attack as previously stated. Though it didn't hit, it at least helped to stall him long enough for Elliot to cover the distance. Not a total waste.

His feet took to the earth as he ran against the downpour, the droplets crashing against his bare skin, feeling like hundreds of tiny cold bullets and he were some unstoppable hulk. A hulk that stood 5'11. He paid little mind to them, by now he was getting used to it, tuning it out. As he ran a secondary energy would begin to build up inside of him. The rise was minor for now, but would continue to swell over time with more movement.

Em had just drawn his weapon when Elliot was upon him. He sought to ventilate the officer, via the scythe he bore in his left hand. His swing would come at an angle to Em's right collar bone, bringing his free hand to his waist just after he torqued. He rode off the momentum caused by the swinging of his arms back and fourth as he ran, adding strength and speed to his attack. Even still, the hella dulled point probably wouldn't dig to far into the man's body, a couple inches maybe however it would shatter the collar bone. Em could continue his charge, or he could defend, though it was unlikely he could do both efficiently. (Edit: Charges: .67 - Concussive .25 - Secondary)

{So long as you understand that one charge is still sufficent for what I'm doing..You just might not lose that kama...Also; I'd like the judges to note this post was re-written and is thusly under duress for creativity, Exscuse it's shitty shittyness please. ^_^}

Being converged upon at the end of his dodge; Em recalled something his master had taught him during his training many years ago. Practical application would be brought up nigh instantly as the tactic was thrown into play. There wasn’t much time for a real dodge, or a real block. This was granted; but a yell? Sound.. Heh;

“KIA!-” [-1 charge]

A ripple would expel through the air between them at about the time that the young man had his Kama cocked. At the speed of sound; vibrational waves of kinetic force had been manifested and launched into the air pumped full of the will to slam Elliot’s liquid inside into a stirring frenzy. Striking the brain as well as most of the body in this fashion, the juices therein would be shaken violently.

At best the young man could hope to take a knee in pain. Though with that full run in affect; he was more then likely to going just slam into Em. The officer himself was standing as before, still in a high loose horse stance with either weapon in either hand.

He was braced and prepared for impact. Very much understanding laws of motion, and very much prepared for what was probably about to happen.

On top of all this; Elliot had the issue of his weapon in hand being struck with this force as well. If he did manage to keep a grip he would have to deal with the kinetic energy that would be running through the blade and handle. Maybe reddening in not breaking the skin of his palm. All at once Elliot's body would resonate as if a human tuning fork. Trembles shot through his body as he felt light headed, trying his damnedest to resist from passing out from the battle cry. He was no stranger to pain, his last match proved his almost super human tolerance, pressing on to fight with two broken limbs, but this was new. His sight went slightly hazy, his ears rung. It sucked, but he wasn't the only one that was going to suffer from the attack.

Elliot kept a steadfast grip on his weapon, dealing with the pain, knowing it would pay off tenfold.

"FWACK!!"

Elliot's kama plunged into Em's right collar, closer to the shoulder. The vibrations had taken a lot of the strength out of the attack, though Ell still had momentum on his side. Initially penetrating about an inch and a half or so after breaking the bone, the vibrations in the blade would widen, and worsen the damage, acting like a small jackhammer essentially, and it didn't stop there...

Clumsily hurling forward Elliot would collide with Em, the height difference and Elliot's position causing his forehead to crash into the the pig's snout. Then, with a mix of anger, and pure reaction Elliot would discharge an optic blast straight into Em's grill. The blast would empty a good deal of Elliot's reserved energy into the man's mouth, along with his front row of teeth. Let's see him dodge a laser at point blank.

"PEYUUUUUU"

Officer down.

It was funny what heavy brain trauma made you think you could do. More so what one would try without the ability.

We Came To Fight Wrote:

> Elliot kept a steadfast grip on his weapon, dealing with the pain, knowing it would pay off tenfold.

This was impossible since hanging onto the weapon initially with any kind of tight grip would split his palm wide open down the entirety of the handle. Not that it mattered what with his motor skills malfunctioning. Upon contact the weapon simply bounced off the dhampir, breaking the boys grip since he’d find his fingers wouldn’t curl. The blow had some force from momentum, but still being that Em was a fairly tough dude with a extra thick skeletal system; It just ripped fabric and barely broke the skin across his colar bone.

Despite what the thug thought he was doing, Em had slight adjustments that he could make to his positioning. Where as Elliot simply couldn’t; what with his rubber brain in effect.

We Came To Fight Wrote:

> Clumsily hurling forward Elliot would collide with Em, the height difference and Elliot's position causing his forehead to crash into the the pig's snout.

The Dhampir was looking. Elliot wasn’t. Em shifted his body to his own right slightly while the limp body hit his poised and braced vessel.

-CRACK!-

That was Em’s left shoulder planting fully into Elliots throat as he twisted his head back on impact as to not collide vise versa. So at this point; Elliot would be sliding off the officer’s persons as simple dead weight with about another second or so of retard mode because of the blow that was just stacked on top of his original trauma.

Em would take this time standing, to simply shift forward barely; relax his body with a thought; and soak in a quick sharp inhale. [+1 charge]

After which point; he’d reel his left foot maybe about six or eight inches back. Preternatural soccer kick? Cheap you say? To kick a opponent laying face down with blunt force trauma?

Low? No; K-1 mother fucker. [1* charge in pool] {Oh, and I chose not to acknowledge the blast because of the obvious fact it probably wasn‘t possible. BUT; I give you the option of either A. Having it expel in the dirt while you‘re face down in your next post; Or B. Feel free to have comatose visions of it fictionally flying over Em’s shoulder upon impact.}

(How is it impossible? Because it's cloudy? Maybe you're misunderstanding my abilities. He get's his energy from the sunlight, much like a solar cell. Which still operate to some extent even on the darkest of days. In my profile to Vintrict I listed that so long as there is enough light to see his powers can still work, just to a lesser degree, which is why after three posts he still doesn't have a full post's worth of charge in him. You can't just ignore attack because you don't like them. Also you mentioned in your post nothing of a "retard" mode, just shaking, and that he could keep his grip on his weapon, but it would just hurt him. You can't pull an "LOL NO" after his strike hits you, which it would considering it was already raised and coming down with no physical defense. You said it would maybe redden his skin, so how does it jump to "Split the entire palm down the middle" and force me to loose my grip? How do you know my character can fight through the millisecond of pain it would take to swing the weapon? Where I'm from they call that puppeteering amigo. In fact, you really didn't give any specific effects leaving it up to me to fill in the blanks, :

S'okay though.)

Em obviously wasn't looking too well, or maybe he was just underestimating Elliot. As stated before, he was one tough hombre, the scientific upgrades made him so. He still had somewits about him, though still missing a few marbles. But even without, he was hungry for this money, like any other man who grew up with holes in their shoes and nothing in their stomachs.

Anyway as he let go of his kama, since apparently some other worldly force dictated he should, the hand would continue forward, brushing briefly with Em as he moved, long enough for...

"Bzzzrt-kak-kak!!"

Elliot used the terrain to his advantage, as he had been planning. A thick ribbon of azure would bridge Elliot's finger tip and Em's body, conveying within it nearly an amp of electricity, nearly deadly for a human, surely paralyzing for the dhamp-something. The energy had been built up as an artificial defense mechanism. There would be no additional pooling, no sensing, at least not until it was too late, jumping between the forms almost automatically, like licking the third rail. It would just be residing in Elliot one second and charging all over Em's soaked body the next, making him foam at the mouth like a rabid dog. Kinda sucks.

Em would convulse, and loose control of his muscles as his body would fry and pop, the scent of burning fabric and flesh hitting Elliot's nose, causeing a smile to curl across his mouth as he began to come out of his shakeyness.

{* energy manifests: Regardless of what you think; That has a natural signature that Em’s watching explicitly at the moment. And if by ‘lol no’ you mean physical science of the brain and kinetic force- then sure? But I figured you kinda understood what was going on by the effects. I gave you the benefit of the doubt; and you failed..} Apparently instead of convulsing such as what his brain’s abilities should have deduced within those moments of being throat checked with no motor skills, the young man sparked up some electricity that had apparently come from.. no where; nor had it‘s existence been noted at all? Hmmm THE COSMOS BEND TO HIS WILL. As do time space, and physics apparently…

In any case; electricity coursed the dhampir‘s form. Raging through his blood, and forcing the vamp iritic side out naturally due to properties involved within being a energy vampire that literally feeds off various forms of energy for sustenance. Electricity included yes.

Ouch though. Em’s eyes lit with red energy. His body worked at it’s highest capacities to coil if not only the pain, but the electricity itself in it’s devistating path to ravage his nervous system and brain stem. With a roar Em simply did what he had intended and used all of his will power to kick right through the shit storm, and send his leg crashing across whatever mass of Elliot it could find as the target fell to the ground. [-1 charge]

Needless to say; a preternatural rage filled soccer kick was going to be insanely devastating. Cybernetics or not. Even machines weren’t meant for this kind of wear and tear. Hell; impact itself would bruise Em’s leg undoubtedly.

Still; the banger would get the ass end of it. Being that Em would explode with energy mid-swing. Hierro activated and the rampant field of violent energies sparked into existence nigh instantly to defeat the last of Elliots shock tactic. Adding spontaneous force and manifest kinetic energy to the blow. Also; Em’s surface would be more durable by buff through this technique. Which meant that for the next three or so seconds, he was gona wail this guy into a coma due to superior position; momentum; and durability.

Or so protocol dictated in his red soaked mental eye. If one looked they could see those fangs of his elongated well down out over his lower lip. Betraying his thicker blood line since the electricity assault that lasted all but half-second. Yea. At this point; Em was officially disgruntled.

A mood most folks will avoid with a officer of any caliber. [0 charges in pool]

(Seeing as how I've never been hit with a ki blast that shakes my entire body, no, I wouldn't know how my character is supposed to be affected. That's where you're supposed to come in, during your original post though, not one and two posts after the fact.)

Elliot fell to the ground miserably on his hands and knees near his opponent's feet.

Things were bad for him. The little bullets now felt like bombshells exploding on his back as his head spun, on the inside this was almost literal. His hazy sight flashed in blurs as he struggled to get back to reality. What the fuck happened? He felt a migrane setting in as his sight began to clear and the ringing in his ears died down. He heard the cries of the fans now, the chants, in unison. "Get up!" He had never really cared about the on-lookers before, but now he felt a kind of responsibility to them, they who knew nothing of him but shared in his struggle. "Get up!" "Get u-RWARRRR" His eyes snapped open as his daze ended, head turning to face Em, now different in form and strength. He didn't know cops could get more evil looking. Or ugly for that matter. Presumably, it would have taken Em some seconds to efficiently deal with the high amount of electricity put into him, and not only completely avoid injury, but grow stronger/transform and deal a soccer kick. The pocket of time Elliot had to get back in the game. Well, he wasn't entirely there yet, but enough so to react. As the kick came in Elliot right forearm, the one nearest Em, would raise to meet it, shielded in a last minute epidermis of a force akin to the one Elliot had been pumping out all day. The last minute render took the edge off of an attack which probably could have broken the bones clean in two, even with his enhanced bone structure. The construct would falter after the initial impact, flickering out of existence and leave Elliot feeling the results of the follow through, a deep bruise, possibly fracture. It wouldn't be of much use now. The force of the attck knocked him from his hands and knees onto his butt and other hand, close his body, supporting his weight.

From the ground he looked upon Em, a cliche fire burning within his eyes aswell. Concussive force would swell to his optics before a blast similar to the one he had earlier intended would hurtle towards Em's throat, apparently intending to crush the soft tissue. There was something different about the blast however. Em would sense no warning, after leaving his eyes the blast would carry no significant energy signature, possibly catching the man off gaurd as there was no warning but sight.

{See if it's designated that's different, though still hard to accomplish, but whatev -benefit of the doubt-. and ja; I'm sorry..I should have really explained the entire science behind it..bad judgment in assuming every body knew what I was doing..Any ho.}

Em realistically couldn't see anything but smoke. Well that and the pure blood rage that was coursing through his mind. Though all in all; his kaoken soccer kick caught something apparently in the mad scuffle.

He didn't have much time to relish. Granted Hierro would be coursing over his form currently, it only protected him so much when he coiled back down and caught the blast to the face. The field would do well to disperse the damage along it's surface; though a blunt strike like that was gona shake Em's world.

His hat flew off as his head reeled back, the man himself sliding a step back in the terrain as he dropped to his other knee. A grunt accented the thud of the man as he landed; and his Hierro wore off within the moment that he settled.

'fuck'

The word shot through his mind as he attempted to take in a deep breath from his position. Only to find a gang load of smoke; which yielded nothing in the way of energy, stifling the chi rather with it's nasty properties from the electrical assault.

Double fuck

The officer had dropped both his weapons from the heat they had absorbed in the attack. Both were made of galvanized steel that was totally still in form. Yet smoldering white hot in the rain. It seemed neither of them could use the baton or cuffs for the time being. Probably a good few seconds before anybody in there right mind could even dare to endure that liquid rubber burn and try to wield such a brutal weapon as the white hot baton.

Still; assuming he wasn't converged upon instantly; Em would push himself up off his flat leg and shake off all the pain coursing through his vessel. While doing this he'd begin trudging forward through the smoldering air that was blowing from the area in a rather dramatic fashion for how the vampire emerged.

"I'm so done with you; you little fucking jack in the box.."

Spoken in a very slightly altered tone. Resident piggy now in full stride and ready to demonstrate where he got his nick name from. No more surprises. It was time for face to ground style.

Knuckles even cracked as he clenched his fists at his sides. Not even menace. Simple furry being channeled with careful instinctual practice as vibrational intent zoned in on the target and locked him in the third eyes sites.

(K, thought so too.)

Elliot drew a breath of relief as his diversion successfully went into play. Em had been hit with a hologram, rendered to look like his concussive blasts, which is why it could not have been sensed. Pity too, since Em took it to the face. He was expecting a dodge but this worked just as fine, the bright lights the render was composed of would probably have him seeing spots for a few seconds anyway. In addition to the smoke.

As he rose to his feet, the rascal would reach into his pocket and draw his Starburst, a round object made of foggy glass, about the size of a pool cue while a disoriented, and probably pissed Em dealt with the effects of the hologram. He heard nothing but the drop of the hot weapons and the low hiss made by the rain and wet grass hitting their surfaces. Elliot's eyes kept trained on the cloud of smoke swirling infront of him from behind his veil of messy brown hair, now entirely soaked like the rest of his body. Cold and numb.

Before long the wind would pick up again to reveal Em's figure.

Pope had been called a lot of names in his life, but jack in the box was...new. Elliot would say nothing in rebuttal, merely flip Em the bird with the hand on his damaged arm before his left would whip forward, launching the Starburst at Em's feet, nearly a yard away where it would immediately explode.

"BLOOOOOOM!!!"

In the brief flash of blinding light generated by the bomb a smile could be seen curling on the Cuban's lips.

Often times normal humans, children even, survive land mine blasts with proper medical attention, which Elliot knew tournament officials had on hand. These explosives were slightly more volatile then land mines, what with your average Gaian apparently born with sheet steel skin, but still the aim was limb loss, not death.

Too close for comfort himself, Elliot would render another shield, well, more like wall actually.

"Tick, tick, clack, tick!!" The barrier would catch the blast along with fragments of earth and the glass the weapon was made of. He could only hope to find a few pieces of Em's leg splattered against it as well.

{Oh, and yea; he jus approaching from that small gap. And what is it? Like a two-three foot gap I'm imagining? -input-

-also this will be edited into response- SHIZAM!

Also; I'm prepared to edit; thus why I posted without word from anyone about the main issue here-} It seemed as though somebody cranked that damn analogous wheel again; and out popped another surprise. The only reason Em was even aware of the object was due to the sound of rain drops breaking off it’s surface and creating a path of noticeable displacement and sound through the air. The dhampir literally had a horrifying slow mow moment as the words left his mouth. Off instinct the officer could gather enough about the thrown object to know he had to get the hell away from wherever it was heading.

Off reflex alone he’d coil his legs and center of gravity down dead in his tracks; only to release the force after falling backward and throwing himself as he pulled his knees up to his body, and crossed his arms in front of his face.

Sure enough it was worth the precaution, though still he was too close, and the force was overwhelming in that respect. Lucky enough his tactic wouldn’t leave him planted to absorb the damage all within a single limb or area. But still; taking that kind of explosive force at basically point blank range- was not going to be pretty.

> "BLOOOOOOM!!!"

The bomb flared not even eight inches away from the man in gray on his b-line mid-air away from the object. The force struck him full on, ripping first the kinetic wave through his body; then the explosive red hot glass shards that would spray undoubtedly somewhat over his persons.

Clothes tore; kinetic force shook his perception; Pain threatened his nervous systems ability to function at all. Still; the man’s enraged blood wouldn’t let him pass out. No sweet dark blackness to save him from this hell.

Em shot backwards only managing to maintain his position because of how he poised himself before impact. Still; flying back maybe six feet, he'd drop dictated by gravity only to hit the wet grass on his knees and slide for another two to three with pained planted hands in the wet muddy terrain.

-Huff, huff, huff…

Now soaked; bruised; battered, and pierced in various places of his legs and forearms; Resident Piggy soaked up the damage like the glutton for punishment he was. Despite what protocol dictated currently in his minds eye; the dhampir rose up rather quickly. Wincing, and bleeding there hunched all for but half a moment before he straightened fully and spat out a gob of crimson. Red optics pierced the dark arena, staring though the falling sheets of water to zone in once again on the foe.

The storm had been raging this whole while. Now it was picking up into a full nightmare with ice cold rain to prove such as it stung the flesh. The winds reached their peeks of 30 mph; droplets would be pelting both combatants from all directions. Em meant what he said a moment ago; and he just took a grenade point blank to prove his resolution in gaining victory. And of course just like that damn zombie from the movie the *bastad* just kept coming. Blood running down his arms, and legs in small streams that washed into his clothes with the rain.

If he wasn't converged upon by his foe before he made it to a upright standing position, Em would take a deep breath and soak in some energy from the rain and air before he started forward at that same slow pace.

His human side was showing currently in his stamina. Not to mention his brain was screaming at him about various severely damaged areas that weren’t getting any better thanks to his indomitable drive.

Hell; he had to be running on will power alone at this point. Arguably; that might as well have been the case. What with the screaming of the crowd, over the cracks of thunder in the distance. Still; over all of this it was more then likely that no one even knew why he continued on in the face of this circus.

'Not gona lay down like a dog who needs to be shot..

This would be the phrase pumping through his mind at light speed during the whole ordeal. Giving him drive and focus to push through all the pain and obstacles that had been set out nicely before him.

There was nothing in this world quite like a man with something to prove..The devil himself repsects this quality in mortals. [*Pending-charges in pool]

19We Came To Fight

Elliot dropped the barrier he had created, it's usefulness proven all-in-all, in so far as physical damage. The 'boom' of the explosion had left a ringing in his ears that only severed to stir his headache further. Gritting his teeth he glanced at the ground below him to notice Santa hadn't left any body parts under the Christmas tree.

"Mierda!" ("Shit!")

He could feel frustration and worry swirling in his gut, the mixture soon bubbling into anger. He didn't know how Em had emerged from his attack in one piece, but Elliot was determined to change it, and end this fight.

His right hand painfully dug into his pocket to retrieve a second explosive, holding it as best he could in his shaky grip. Blood had begun to pool beneath the limb's unbroken skin, creating a deep purple bruise halfway down his forearm, though he had no time to listen to the demands for attention it sent up his nerves. Before long Elliot would be bursting from the smoke cloud and powder fumes, his long legs clearing the crater of dry earth exposed by the explosion. The shield had robbed him of most of his reserved energy, leaving him enough for a considerably weak beam, or shield. He didn't even waste a second to charge, figuring it would be fruitless to enter a charging race with Em, he learned his lesson the first time. The best he could do was prevent Em from getting his.

With a kamikaze grin playing on his lips and the harsh winds propelling him forward, Elliot's mud caked sneakers ate the distance between the men. With the fury of a rampant bull the Latin man came upon his foe, tossing a right hook, pulling his left back as he torqued. The hit would come to Em's left temple as he rose, before his charge that was. Elliot wouldn't ignite the bomb as close to himself as he previously was, doubtful that he could generate a shield strong enough to take the punishment. No longer able to form a proper fist, he aimed to use the sphere's hard, glass like shell as a substitute. Though slightly slower than it should be, if the hit connected the blow would be nasty.

20countgraves

Thunder boomed. The crowd roared for the brutal spectacle. Em caught a blow to his temple full on. To say that the man had taken some punishment so far; was an understatement. Still; as he was, the shot could only do so much more. His vision shook black for the entire millisecond that it took for the concussive force to ring through his abnormally thick skull. Still; hopefully Elliot hadn’t forgot the pure rage coursing this man’s being, soul, and brain currently.

Before Em could even see really; before elliot’s blow had fully setttled, a pale angry right arm would shoot forward and lock a kung fu grip around the bangers throat. Fingers wrapping cleanly and forcefully with the blow itself so that the officer could take a forced painful step forward and full on lift his target off the ground. Catching him dead in his momentum as it where.

Yes; absorbing the force fully, and countering such with a healthy dose of his own. Obviously preternatural faculties were at fault within the man‘s insane ability at using a rickety body to such a feat. Obviously he was hurt. Hurt bad. Yet still; just as soon as he lifted the kid up, he’d drop him while jolting forward for a full on controlled collision of skulls. His obviously at this point proving to be the thicker.

If all this came to fruition as planned, Gravity was being used against the target in the way that whatever he did, he was getting skull bashed at angles dictated by Em. Granted it was gona hurt them both. The officer was already blocking out 99.0% of the pain that he was currently ‘feeling’. This was simply brutal resourcefulness in the face of being nearly crippled on his feet.

Still his phrase roared through his mind. It seemed any actual plan of tactic was abandoned at this point for instinctual animosity. All he could do was scrap with the kid and hope that he himself was just as tough as he’d been lead to believe. In any case; the crowd was loving this.

Electricity, grenades, and lasers; Oh my.. [*0 charges in pool]

((I'm limiting the use of the Starburst to once per match, Came. Though I did approve the item since it's not as powerful as a standard grenade, I'm limiting it mainly because of its instant properties.))

22We Came To Fight

(Fair enough, I wasn't planning on exploding it again, just using it as a blunt force object.)

Before he could even enjoy the pain of his strike, Elliot felt Em's hard grip on his throat

"Ugk..erg"

He muttered between coughs as he struggled to breath. Looking at Em, the detirmination in his eyes was evident. He was fucking serious, as was El. The Starburst would roll off his fingertips as he lost his wet grip, only to replace it on Em's choking wrist. In a way this move didn't shock him much. In his days back in The Yard, such attacks were common, taking an opponent's hit only to counter with something stronger while they were left open. Dirty, but always effective. He often caught the bad end of this deal in spars against his brother in fact, as this was his style too. This lead Elliot to always expect it in the back of his head, and plan a step ahead, a counter to the counter. This stray mutt had one tooth left.

What happened next would either win the match or just piss Em the fuck off. He hoped for both.

"Puttoo!" As he felt his heels lift from the ground Elliot would retaliate. Mustering any air he could, Elliot would 'hawk' a glob of spit at Em, hopefully hitting his eyes or in between them. This would cause him to blink just long enough for...

"Fwip"

A sized 12 canvas sneaker would snap kick forward, hoping to leave a muddy foot print on Em's groin before...

"SHINKT!!"

Elliot's left hand that had went to his waist during his strike tinged in anticipation of attack, feeling the familiar leather grip of the ninjato still at his hip. He would quick draw the weapon upwards, sliding out of its katana sheath and hopefully into Em's chocking arm at the elbow.

Musashi himself once that it was was false to die a blade undrawn. If Em were to defeat Elliot, it would be against every weapon and trick in his arsenal, Elliot would essentially be letting him win otherwise, and this banger wouldn't be giving the cop any slack anytime soon.
