Description: A mountain plateau, one of many that lies in a mountain range north of GTB known as the Tophead Mountains, is the fighting spot for this round. Moving from the standard of being inside a stadium surrounded by people, Midus Sonners has decided to make up for throwing the fighters into a fight full of bad weather and has taken them to a spot that is nice and warm with nice breezy winds of the fresh mountain air, and a good amount of water surrounding each plateau, with various other hills present throughout, including some land and a background view of the higher mountains. Each fighter will be in a location far away from the other matches, so neither will be capable of seeing one another, unless someone launches a pretty large technique, be it visually or by magical sense. Cameramen rest in flying helicopters and on islands out in the water to keep a close watch on the fights taking place for all to see from the safety of their livings and the large screen present back at the GTB stadium.

Grass and rock is the terrain, with a few small ups and downs that keep the plateau from being perfectly flat. The edge drops down in a curve toward the waters, the plateau raised at a height of fifty feet above water. The slope isn't steep, so if one slips down the hill, they can easily catch themselves and start walking back up, though not without some effort.

How The Fighters Arrived: All fighters were transported via helicopters, one helicopter per fight with both fighters being transported in the same vehicle.

Special Conditions: None.

Field Measurements:

Here is a visual of the field measurements, with the assumption that the plateau is circular on its top.

User Image

Ten Count Boundary: The moment someone goes goes outside the 30ft diameter, meaning touching the slopes, the ten count starts. To show where the ten count starts, a holographic barrier surrounds the plateau in a half opaque orange color. For reference, the distance of the slope from the edge of the top to the water is 15 ft.

The flying rule remains.

**Chop Chop Chop Chop Chop Chop...

T**hat wonderful sound echoed around the plateaus as Bishop looked out the window of the chopper on this sunny wonderful day. A smile etched across his lips as he waiting to get there. He was stocked, the new kid on the block had one two matches in a row, maybe luck would remain on his side today. As for his opponent on the chopper, He would make sure to study his figure before they exited the helicopter, just to get a look at him and how he may fight. Bishop wouldn't be dumb enough to make the same mistakes he made last round, as he advance into the tournament his style was constantly built on, adjusting to the way the other tournament fighters played.

Arriving at the destination, the pilots would instruct the fighters to remain seating till the chopper was closer to the plateau. Bishop would listen, and when close enough he would hop out of the chopper, on the the rocky cliff. And this is where his heart began pounding. They weren't here, but he could hear them. What the hell, was this guy schizophrenic now? Not at all...but he could hear the stadium from miles and miles away, as the crowd roared with intensity, cheering on the first year wonder. The raging crowd though not in his sight would give him a boost of confidence and adrenaline, the little hairs on the back of Bishop's neck stood on end. Today, was going to be a good day, and granted his opponent seemed like a sword master, this un-even rocky terrain wouldn't be his friend today, Not that it helped Bishop, but if definitely was a Disadvantage for the hero of time.

Wasting no time to prepare, Bishop would remove his shirts, it was too hot to keep them on, and the breeze felt nice. He then would also equip his shield to his left as and grin widely as he cracked his neck. His knife to his lower back, and his hunk of metal fake ass katana no where to be found. Bishop would do a few exercises to properly stretch out his muscles before the match. After all, that jedi's puppetmastering telekinetic jedi force bullshit made him a bit stiff. Once he would quit moving he would see cameraman and would wink at the camera as he flexed his right arm.

**"This one is for you baby."

S**imultaneously would several girls in the crowd go wild before starring each other down in confusion, a few of them began to fight in the stands. Bishop would now after his taunt, allow his eyes to narrow as he looked back to the helicopter, starring and waiting. Soon as link would come out of that helicopter, it would be on like Donkey Kong. Bishop joined this tournament mostly to better himself as a fighter, but due to his current victory status, he was definitely gunning for the cash prize and the reputation now.

3SuperSmashedLink

Clutching his green cap to his head and jumping out of the helicopter, Link landed with a light thud upon the rocky terrain and turned around to gaze passionately at the machine as it took off and into the sky once more. To say he was enthralled would have been the grossest of understatements -- The Hero of Time was practically infatuated with the wingless inorganic bird.

Once the helicopter reached an altitude where it's rotors did not interfere with the natural winds, Link finally turned around and faced his opponent. Peeking out from under his cap would be Navi, who took the time to climb out and float away from what would obviously be another battle for the Hylian Knight.

Reaching behind him and grabbing both the hilt of the Master Sword and the handle of his shield, Link equipped himself and tested the balance of both his items before appearing satisfied. The battle had commenced, they were on a slope and Link would already go about the tact of back up and into the high-ground. He was ready.

Righting his shield in front of him and raising the Master Sword in preparation, Link waited for his opponent to initiate hostilities.

4Swagga Hopper

Bishop would sigh lightly as he shook his head no. He couldn't believe how scared everybody was to throw the first blow. What ever, fuck it. Bishop would press forth more cautiously than normal, being on a raised surface with no edge. This single bout was going to be the hardest one thus far, seeing as to how killing is against the rules and the fall could be deadly. Should Bishop knock him off the edge, Bishop would be disqualified. Should Bishop fall, he too could die....either way, He just needed to watch himself.

As link escalated to the higher part of the plateau, Bishop would put his gaurd up with his shield, which hid his torso and his lower face, his eyes peaking over the lip of the shield as he drew closer. His arms muscle naturally bulged in a defining fashion as the sun light gleamed off of his skin, his blond hair waving slowly in the calm winds. Bishop's face had grown to that of a serious mug, he didn't smile and laugh like all the gaian faggerts, no....He would be focused.

Once within striking range, Bishop's right hand would turn to his back. This action well hidden, the hands of a thief and the curtain of a shield aided that swift sly maneuver. Bishop would then simply press his strength into a hockey check move, Pretty much just to get things underway, though he didn't try to make this move full on, just an ice breaker to make link move...and when he did move it would be easier for Bishop to make a decision based on his opponents openings. 'This guy won both of his rounds two....lets find out why and how.'

5SuperSmashedLink

Planting his feet after reaching a relatively stable advantage point on the highground, Link would bend his knees for extended balance and lower his shield marginally to effectively keep tabs on his opponent.

Bishop was cautious -- Link would also seek to use that to his advantage. Having never played Hockey or even heard of the sport for that matter, Link could only gauge what the Thief did as a lackluster shield bash to test the waters and measure the contest between the two. Taking it for what it was, Link would waste no time in initiating true hostilities between them by meeting Bishop's shield bash with a shield bash of his own - save one crucial aspect; strength. Link would, for all intents and purposes, throw his right arm out and into Bishop's shield with the full muster of his heroic muscles in a bash of epic proportions.

But that was not the full scope of Link's offensive measures. With the tactical advantage of a relative high-ground, the Hylian Knight had a few precious inches above his opponent, which meant all the world in terms of combat. Pulling his left arm back and angling the tip of the Master Sword, Link sought to use whatever opening his special shield bash technique might have produced and swung the Blade of Evil's Bane down ontop of his opponent's exposed head. Pending Bishop's alignment, there was a chance of either cleaving straight through his skull, or splitting his head open with a magically blunted edge of a sword that could cleave no good-natured sentient.

This initiation of hostilities was to be the true ice breaker between the two.

6Swagga Hopper

And so it begun.

**Clank!

A**s stated before Bishop hadn't place his strength into the attack, and so when the shield collided and the force income was place higher, Bishop would slide back a few inches. By the time he would be replanting his feet, Bishop could hear that tone that was all so familiar.

**SHINK!

T**he opponent had withdrew a blade and was already slicing down in a harsh slash, aiming for the head. Bishop would drop to his right knee and hoist his left up, the lip of the shield catching the sword. This is where Bishop would allow the brain and the nervous system to exchange messages, commanding his body to prepare for shock. The several electroplaques implants into the man made him much like an electric eel. So, just about as the sword hit the shield...

**BZZRRTZZZRRRTT!

A** whopping .01 Amp. Even through fabrics of clothing, and other minor materials, this electricity would push through the metal of the shield, through the sword, and into Link in a very very short amount of time. How fast did electricity travel again? Regardless, as the shock was iniciated, Bishop's mind would know that a successful shock of this caliber allowed for one to not be able to let go, Extreme pain, and Extreme breathing difficulties. And with a shocked opponent, Bishop would push up on his left leg to allow his right leg to place its foot on the ground, where Bishop's right hand would yank out his bowie knife from it sheath and holding it over hand style, the point facing up, he would bring it from his back as his right side of the body shifted forward and stab for Link's Bicep. Piercing the muscle in this state of shock would have the muscle tightened, and if the blade or maybe when it pierce Bishop would release the shock, allowing the tense muscle to relax, making the wound bigger, though the outcome would be unchanged. If the blade was in, it would be in until Bishop pulled it out, and he first wished to make a world of hurt for Link.

((Swagga, do you realize you just sent 100 milliamps at Link? That's lethal. Explain otherwise.))

8Swagga Hopper

[[I meant to put .01. I have a chart that lists amps and the side effects. Sorry for the screw up. Should I change it?]]

9SuperSmashedLink

(( I think you should, unless you want me to post a Hero's crispy downfall. o_o; ))

(( I'd also like to see your chart for review/to correctly post. ))

10Swagga Hopper

OOC: Editted. Again sorry for the typo, he is the, Chart.

((Alright. Thanks for that. continue.))

13SuperSmashedLink

None could deny that both the Hero of Time and the Thief he fought were titans of strength. A downward stroke with his left arm with the Master Blade was once of Link's most powerful sword-strikes, and when it caught the lip of Bishop's shield, it was not the single pure note that the Blade of Evil's Blade emitted that Link focused his attention on. No, for that split moment, Link could only furrow his eyebrows at the supreme resistance of his opponent's shield arm. It didn't budge. It didn't waver. It was..scary. It was scary to feel his attack stopped to such a degree.

The ground beneath them shuddered under the stopping of the blow, a gale of wind emanating from between them stroked the grass, and a fine bead of sweat began trailing down Link's face. Monsters and the undead were Link's specialty, but fighting humans seemed to be putting major chinks in his stratagem - First Fierach, and now this man. However, the Hero of Time would not be dissuaded from his drive to achieve victory. In fact, he entreated the challenge of the Thief before him and the strength he assuredly possessed.

Feeling the hilt of the Master Sword grow warm beneath his fingertips, the Hylian Knight watched with evident surprise as the length of his weapon began to glow in a mystical light. Regardless of the Thief's natural alignment, the desire to cause severe bodily injury to the Hero of Time had turned the Blade of Evil's Bane against Bishop, effectively rendering his electric charge an evil sleight. As the current passed through the Master Sword's blade and into it's full-tang where it would have dissipated due to the insulation of the overlaying wood and leather, the Master Sword would instead act upon it's own accord and repel the electrical charge. Sparks flew, the Master Sword glowed in a brilliant blue, and Link would set his face in grim determination while he pulled his weapon back. In came Bishop's big knife from over head, and up came an upward stroke with the Master Sword, aiming to remove Bishop's wrist from his forearm in one swift blow.

14Swagga Hopper

Bishop would of course be surprised by his electric attack being thwarted by the mythical sword before him, and as a result of the shock not going through, he would cancel his stab attack Instead of hitting his wrist, the sword would violently smack the blade of the bowie knife and out of Bishop's hand, leaving it to plummet from the plateau. Damn, he really like that knife too.

Bishop's reply wasn't one of rash decision. He would erect his form and take a couple steps back swiftly before putting his guard back up with the shield as he firmly planted his feet. The CPU chip located on the stem of the brain so to speak, would activate, over hauling his nervous system for faster thought process and pushing his hypertendons and his Compound V enhanced strength to its limits with an awesome dose of adrenaline. This fight called for stepping the game up a bit, And Bishop was willing to do so.

Once Bishop was sure he had a few plans in his head , he would mug his opponent, those hazel eyes narrowed at the Hero of time as that aforementioned wind caressed Bishop's golden locks, and massaged his slightly pale skin. He would speak out to his opponent.

"I saw that fairy with you and deemed you a faggert, but you battle prowess shows me otherwise. Alright Santa's little helper, Im done warming up."

15SuperSmashedLink

Clang-fwish-fwish-fwish.

Maintaining his composure despite the satisfaction of watching his sword strike disarm his opponent, Link switched from his King of the Hill defensive measures to instead go on an extreme offense. The high-ground had been utilized to it's fullest advantage, and he could only predict that his opponent would back down to change his tactics and approach. Now was the time to attack before the Thief gathered his wits about him.

Finishing the cleaving arc of the Master Sword and holding it at his left flank, tip towards the ground, Link would step forward and into the retreating Bishop while delving into his innate fey magics. By the second step, Link was pushing off the ground and pitching forward. He was still on the high-ground, and it still met all the world in terms of combat before they were on a level playing field.

Bringing the Master Sword back while simultaneously jumping forward and into the air, Link would cock and bend his elbow before thrusting forward with his sword arm from above Bishop's guard on his descent back to the ground. His target was Bishop's face before his lips would ever start to move.

16Swagga Hopper

As he revived his guard and gathered himself he noticed the Hero of time approaching, he took this down time of Bishop to try and get the jump on him. Soon as The Hero of time would come in With that blade, Bishop had made a plan, in his mind flawless, but this guy seemed flawless at the moment as well, one of them would give way.

Link would lunge into the air, flying at the thief with the sword point forward, a thrust for his face was in order. So breaking things down a bit, If the thrust was for the face, just above the lip, Link's jump should put him at about thigh/waist level in conjunction with Bishop's Height. Bishop would shift his shield up a bit as his electroplaques beckon forth another electrick current, though this one was much small. He would also move fourth with his legs slightly bet at the knees, and that sword would thrust into the top bit of the shield. As this happened, Bishop smash down the button that would allow the circuit to be open on this chain shield and would channel electricity into the chain blade bordering the lip of the shield. With the sword pushing in the spot it was, and Bishop lightly lowered, he would allow his arm to slightly swist back to allow the flat front of the shield to slide across the Hero of Time's torso, and thats when the open circuit was complete.

**VING VING! OURRRWWRRIIIIIING!

A**s the Hiro of time moved toward Bishop, Bishop pressed to go past the Hero of time. The circulating chain blade would be but merely hundredths of a second from piercing the Hero of time left leg in conjunction with his sword arm. Hit or miss this was a quick task, and so Bishop would twist as he would slam his shield toward the ground, should Link had been cut and caught on the lip of the shield, he would hug the plateau, should Bishop had missed, well, he would adjust.

Currently, back at the arena where the audience watched, They seemed to be mostly cheering for Link at the moment, he seemed to be giving them the action they wanted, answering their prayers. But a nice amount left would still cheer for Bishop and chant his name. The new kid had won his first o matches in a row, thats better than they would've thought he would do in the first place.

17SuperSmashedLink

Ding.

Link had only begun a thrust with the Master Sword upon his descent to the ground to add to it's overall power. Baring that in mind, his head would only be a bare few inches above Bishop's own while his sword-strike came down from above. As it was, Bishop had lifted his shield above his head to ward off Link's blow, which impacted a mere moment before the Hero's feet touched the ground.

Pushing off the shield with the Master Sword's tip still embedded in it's surface, Link would step to the side and twist his torso to face Bishop as the man went past. Angling his left-wrist in suite to place the length of the Master Sword between he and his opponent (tip facing down), the Hylian Knight would clench his left hand tightly around the hilt of the Master Sword while it's length vibrated in accordance with having the chains of Bishop's shield gnash against it's flat.

Saved from injury from Bishop's shield, Link would grimace and shift his body-weight to maintain relative balance on the rocky slope he stood on while twisting his neck to appropriately keep tabs on his opponent. He would take a moment to gauge his opponent's next motions before either focusing on offense or defense.

18Swagga Hopper

HyruleKnightLink Wrote:

> the Hero's feet touched the ground.

Lacking a few small details from the Hero of Time, Bishop would notice the man landing on the ground via eletrolocation with his electroplaques active at the moment. He would close the circuit again as his shield arm would move outward, forcing his opponets sword arm farther to his own right. Of course the shield arm would be twisted to it original facing in order to have a flat surface working against the blade. Bishops hypertendons and brute strength would compliment this as he grunted.

Simultaneously, Bishop would find his left side shifting back as his leg would bend at the knee and lift of the ground, the knee and the heeld of his right leg/foot facing the opponent, and in one fluid moment the foot would rocket forth to try and slam into his opponents left hip while we was distracted. If the hit landed, the hit wasn't enough to break anything, simply due to the fact that if Bishop broke it and made it hurt bad enough, the Hero of time could easily just roll off the cliff and he didn't want to kill the man, that would disqualify Bishop and his tournament money would be robbed from him. No. He did this to cause little pain, but mainly to throw the Hero or Time off balance before he even gained it, Hence when he launched the attack when the Hero of time was landing.

If the hit connected, Bishop was ready to follow up in several different ways, if it missed, well hopefully it wasn't too bad a fail to recover from, but regardless after the kick would reach extension, it was naturally pulled back if not intercepted. This elf looking faggert was really starting to annoy Bishop though, almost chopped his arm off, lost his favorite knife, Thwarted his shield attacks, and had some gay magical immunity to Bishop's non magic electrical attacks through a sword. Damn it all to hell. Bishop would show rage or frustration as it clouded judgment, but just how much could this man take before he went berserk?

19SuperSmashedLink

Link landed, had his attack thwarted, and was kicked in the left side of his hip. With the Master Sword angled over-head and the Hylian Shield at his right flank, his defensive capabilities would be at their most lackluster peak considering his lack of a center of gravity. Pushed by Bishop and effectively losing his balance, Link would land on his rump with a light thud. Not exactly the most promising of positions, the Hero of Time would look up at his opponent with a grimace while subconsciously tensing up. Grimacing, Link would slowly draw his sword back and angle its tip at his opponent. The next few moments were most certainly crucial in deciding how the rest of the battle was going to play out.

Link knew he was in real trouble now.

20Swagga Hopper

Bishop would follow the Hero of Time and when he fell, Bishop would slightly crouch with his shield in hand and lunge lowly forth with his shield leading. Whether he hit the Hero's sword or shield he didn't care, But if this was his chances to get those weapon way, that thats what he was up to. Should the Hero have moved out of the way, Bishop would be the one left in a bad spot. But if the timing was right as he thought it was, Bishop's shield would connect somehow someway with Link enough to further distract him from further coming back in this fight. Bishop was barely in control, but with a little more push, he would have this fight wrapped around his finger.

Meanwhile, some of the crowd remained in awe, not believing what just happened, a few more spectators that cheered for link jumped on the Bishop band wagon as the crowd's rage increased ten fold, if this was a ground fight on a not so level plateau, then the crowd way get the show they want. The screen was just now showing the kick and Link falling from it, again, as Bishop came forth for the follow up, and crowd erupted again. Too bad they couldn't see the fight up close right before their eyes.

21SuperSmashedLink

While sitting on his rump, Link would regard his surroundings with his peripheral vision. Blades of grass, the smooth surface of a rock, a few looses stones -- nothing he could properly use as a means of defense. What could the Hero of Time possibly do to defend himself against a man who was immediately following up on his surprise advantage. Swinging the Master Sword or thrusting it from a sitting position was next to useless, and putting his shield between them would do next to nothing in terms of giving Link an opportunity to get onto his feet. The only worth-while options left to him was magic, which was no where near his proficiency with his mundane abilities.

Cycling through his list of spells, Link could only tense up more once he realized most, if not all, of them were worthless at this range. Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, the Fire Spell, the Reflect Spell, and especially the Jump Spell---

Wait. Link's eyebrows puckered tightly in grim determination as an idea popped into mind. Could it be applied? Would it work? It was crazy enough to, but he was going have to improvise. Dropping both the Blade of Evil's Bane and relinquishing his hold on his Hylian Shield, Link braced the palms on the ground beside him and actually leaned back as Bishop came in while simultaneously lifting his legs. Angling his feet and using the fey magics he had gathered previously, Link would brace his knees as his feet touched the flat surface of Bishop's shield and release a Jump Spell on it's surface.

A creative and crazy application to be sure, the Jump Spell would be used to not propel Link off an expected flat surface, but rather be used to propel Bishop away from the Hero of Time. To be exact, the power in the spell would be equal to the same amount of energy it would take to shoot a hundred-and-fifty-five pound man into the air. Suffice to say, with Bishop coming in as he was, he would be shot backwards and hopefully into a tumble. If that was the case, Link would grab his sword and quickly rise to his feet. If not, he would react appropriately.

22Swagga Hopper

The crowd erupted into a chant repeating 'GO LINK!' once they saw the tactic used, quick thinking to he have, truly an honor to fight this kid, Bishop's whole mind set was clouded in thought, Fuck the tournament money, fuck round two and round four, all of it. Round three is now the most fun Bishop has had in a while. But the battle of King of the Hill was barely over.

The Hero of Time's kick came uphill do to the positioning of the fighters, thus, when the hit connected with the shield, Bishop would have his feet touch the ground and momentum carry him into an extremely epic fail back flip.

**THWAP!

I**nstead of a tumble, due to positioning and timing, Bishop merely violent slammed back first on the rocky plateau, pushing the air from his lungs before impact to make sure he wouldn't be winded, His shield arm exteneded to his side with the flat facing down on the rock, the under side of the forearm facing the sky, and his legs sprawled. He didn't try to catch himself at all, he took the fall simply because of it being more safe in a sense. By the time he was back up to his feet, he would notice link barely got to his feet before Bishop himself. Bishop would lightly grunt as he could feel the scrapes on his back, as well as mild bruising.

With both fighters back up the crowd would still go wild, about 75% of the stadium would still Chant link's name Super Smash Bros. style. If only the fighters could here them, Link would probably feel a slight adrenaline boost simply due to will power and the positive attitudes given from the audience. It was about time to end this shit....Bishop admirred the Hero of Time to a slight degree, but all in all, he still wanted to win.
