Description: Located in an open-roof stadium is the ring where the first round fights will be taking place. The sound of wild cheering from the many fans that have congregated here fill the arena in a loud uproar as cameras zoom in on the action to broadcast the fights all over the world. The floor of the arena is a glossy hard floor with the logo of GTB painted in purple and pink upon the white sheen.

Field Measurements: The fighting area is a perfect circle with a 50 yard diameter. The walls that keep the fighters away from the spectators are raised up to ten feet.

Ten Count Boundary: The ten count begins whenever the fighter is knocked out of the bounds of the fighting area, such as into the spectator seats. The flying count out is also in effect, which means, if you stay above ground by your own will for more than ten seconds, you will be DQ'd.

Fight Ends: After 11:59 PM on Jun 22nd. That means when it becomes Jun 23rd, fights are over.

2Makenshi-Dono

Makenshi would now arrive at the arena designated for him. He would stand at the center of the ring, look down at the logo beneath his feet, then up at the audience and would meditate on the upcoming fight.

3Makenshi-Dono

Makenshi stood up after meditating for a while. A while really was roughly...5 minutes? He waved over to some worker not too far off. His opponent hadnt shown up, so what did it matter what he did at this point?

A young worker ran up to him; likely a towel boy or someone of that job level.

"Sir, your match is about to start. Is this really the best time to-"

"My opponent isnt here...and I could really use some water right now. Think you could help me out? It would only take a few minutes, and I'm sure if my opponent is any kind of a true fighter he'd want to battle me when I'm at my fullest, and not while I'm thirsty."

"All right, sir. I'll be right back."

The boy then left, then returned again with a bottle of Fuji water. Makenshi would then open it and take a full swig until the entirety of the bottle was empty.

He would then wipe his lips with the back of his left hand...

"Ahh, thanks son. Here."

Makenshi then proceeded to hand him a 50 and would stand with his arms crossed, waiting still for his opponent.

"Honestly, if I've had to wait this long, legally, I should have already won...or at least have some kind of a recliner of some sort...maybe even a magazine....Shit, a yo-yo would be better than this..."

4The WTF Ninja

Fashionably late, a shirtless leather-clad man stepped onto the glossy stadium ring. The crowd cheered and jeered, obviously impatient. Ninja seemed to ignore this, throwing his arms into the air as to cause an uproar. A black katana sheath was hooked to a leather belt. A lit cigarette was kept between the man's lips. occasionally he would puff out a few clouds of smoke. His eyes ere masked beneath thick sunglasses.

"Better late than never, eh?" he said, lightly hopping up and down, loosening up his muscles. he moved his shoulders in circular motions, relaxing the muscles in his arms. He brought his fists to his chest, brought his hands into a fist, and gave his opponent a dead stare. In the seconds he had entered, he was ready.

5Makenshi-Dono

"Heh, ninjas. And here I thought ninjas were fast. Still, thats ok."

Makenshi grinned and took his own ninjutsu stance, the IchiMonji. His left side would be facing his opponent (likely 15 feet as it seemed it was unofficially the respected space before a fight on planet Gaia), his left arm would be out in the direction towards his opponent, relaxed and with his fingers straight and spear like.

His right arm would be bent across his body with his right hand in front of his face, and slightly over his left shoulder.

He would have his legs in a horse stance with roughly 70% of his weight leaned on his rear leg, in this case his right leg. His rear leg would be slightly bent, but kept supporting the weight.

Makenshi wasnt dressed as the stereotype ninja was. In fact, he was more like a modern ninja; a spec. ops soldier. He wore a flak jacket that had many chest pockets, cargo pants with two large pockets, a pouch on his back, orange sunglasses on his face, and a Ninja-to straight sword on his left hip. In fact, the only traditional ninja clothing he had on him seemed to be his tabi boots, and forearm guards, yet, even then, they were modernized. Made with a silent rubber sole, and a more sleek design.

"Let us begin..."

6The WTF Ninja

"Oh you bet your ass I'm fast." Ninja said. Although Ninja usually adopted a balanced defensive stand in a fight, he instead went on total offense. His mind set was either ringing out or knocking out his opponent was fast as possible. He leaned his body weight forward, and went into a quick dash. Although Ninja was a Meta-Human, blessed with super-speed compared to that of the Flash, however, tournament rules limited him, so he obliged. He kept the 50 mile limit in mind.

To start out, he went for a shoulder-forward football-styled tackle. he ran at a steady 35 mph, which, when roughly 15 feet was the distance, proved to be rather hard to dodge. As Ninja charged, he kept a hand on his own blade. He didn't plan to use it quite yet, however if his opponent went to strike with his sword, Ninja wouldn't be caught defenseless.

7Makenshi-Dono

It was true; at this close of a range, with Ninja's quick speed, it was very unlikely that Makenshi would be able to dodge. And Makenshi wasnt able to. But why try?

Makenshi was leaning with the majority of his weight back, likely making it easier for Ninja to knock him over with the tackle. But ninjutsu had a good arsenal of drops, rolls and what have you. So Makenshi wouldnt be caught surprised when tackled.

As he was being tackled back, due to him already leaning back, he would go with the fall back. Due to the nature of a tackle its safe to assume that Ninja was aimed towards Makenshi's waist, thigh or knee section of his body. Makenshi was a meta-human as well, and a tackle at 35 mph from a 15 foot distance was endurable with Makenshi's body. It would also, slightly, be cushioned with the protection of his flack jacket, thick as it was to protect against shrapnel and most bullet impacts.

*"Hrng!"*

Was the grunt made to have his abdomen muscles tighten slightly and increase their resistance to the impact. It was also a reaction to the tackle itself.

So upon falling, due to the tackle, Makenshi would attempt to wrap his legs around Ninja's lower body. It was likely that Makenshi had his arms over Ninja's body. Which was good. He would wrap his closest arm, the right arm, around Ninja's head (or attempt to at least) and with his outstretched left arm, would attempt to drop his elbow repeatedly on Ninja's neck and upper right shoulder area.

At this time, what Makenshi was trying for was having the two of them fall to the ground together, grappling his head and body, and elbowing him repeatedly in the neck and shoulder area; specifically aimed in the neck area.

8Vintrict

((WTF Ninja, you were going to be replaced today if you hadn't posted like you did. Therefore, you're in danger of being replaced by someone from the waiting list. You have this weekend to make up for your inactivity, or I'm afraid I'm going to have to replace you.))

9Jellymancer

The new girl had walked in toward the center of the arena confused and dazed by the whole crowd of people that had come to watch this fight. "God I hope I don't screw this one up." she said since this was her first time in the tournament. She then spotted a man inside that very same arena she was in. Trying to remain calm seeing that this man would have talents she had probably not had seen before.

"That man looks like he has been in many battles other than this one. I hope I have the skills to equal his..." shaking rather nervously being only a newcomer. So she thought of an idea, she would just fight, fight until she had no energy left to walk.

10Makenshi-Dono

(The events of time re-written?)

Makenshi turned to his opponent. Now, he wasnt one for manners, nor really was he ever rude. More...indifferent. He looked in her direction and nodded. Polite enough in his own terms.

He loosened his muscles, rolling his neck, shoulders; Then once his body was relaxed he would take his own ninjutsu stance, the IchiMonji. His left side would be facing his opponent (likely 15 feet as it seemed it was unofficially the respected space before a fight on planet Gaia), his left arm would be out in the direction towards his opponent, relaxed and with his fingers straight and spear like.

11Jellymancer

(Sorry he just told me to post and I didn't have an idea except the other one. Sorry about that!)

Though Kayami was really nervous she was ready for this fight. So before she could respond she fixed her position into her fighting style stance too. The Blood Leg Style from which her training in had made her legs have more endurance in her balance and her weight on one leg. Bringing her right knee up facing the sky and at neck length she then turned it sideways. "Would you like to start the honors sir? Or shall I make the first move?" She said very confidently.

12Makenshi-Dono

ooc-

Nah it's cool, I meant it seemed Vin is reversing time so the events of my first fight never happened.

ic-

"Very well..."

Makenshi would lift his front foot forward to gain a bit more balance, then would push off his back foot to lunge himself forward to close some space. However, when landing on his front foot, he would push himself off to the right to throw off his opponent, but in a forward-right lunge. Then upon landing on his right foot, he would drop his left arm to his side, then tuck his body to roll towards his opponent in a left ways roll. This was a zig-zag style of closing the distance to throw her off any prediction she may have had on his movements.

That was the objective anyways.

While rolling he would adjust his weight to land on his feet and immediately throw himself forward in a baby hop towards his opponent, using his right hand in a fist to strike her on her right side, chest and armpit area, aiming for her arterial nerve in her armpit if it were exposed (since it was unclear the stance in her hands and arms) that if hit would possibly paralyze her right side of her body for a a few seconds. If it missed and hit her body anywhere else it would just hurt like someone punching you really hard. And Makenshi was a meta-creature of above human levels of strength and speed.

His left arm would be above his head, with his elbow back, for defense in case a counter was made towards his head. His landing would be that to where his left leg would have his knee on the ground, and his right foot planted, knee bent. This would keep him lower, making him smaller, and somewhat harder to hit, and at the same time, allow him to move to her much quicker than if he were to stick to his feet. And it would provide a little more stability in his defense.

This technique was a variation of the Ichimonji no Kamae to a Boshiken strike.

13Jellymancer

Though unprepared Kayami would attempt to block each of his moves with her right leg, but she wouldn't be able to block each and every attack with only her leg. So in her only desperation attempt she would activate her necklace of protection. She hoped that it would block his moves for a time to give her a while to think of a strategy to overtake his powerful and skilled moves.

14Makenshi-Dono

As Makenshi would leap back from his attack. He would allow her to keep her barrier up for a moment, but would maintain his eye contact on her. If he noticed any sign of weakness in her barrier he would attack.

He would keep his eye contact with her, maintaining a 10 foot distance from her. He would then pull the smoke grenade out from his vest pocket, pull the pin, and then drop it on the ground.

He would wait a few seconds for the smoke to start to really begin to surround the two of them.

The purpose of this would be so that she would not be able to predict his movements or his next attack. At the same time, once the smoke would engulf the barrier, it would likely cause it to become dark in her barrier, blocking out most light. It was a scare tactic. A psychological attack.

While the smoke was coming up he would ignite flames around his fists. They would be small flames. From a distance it only looked like his hands were a BRIGHT orange, not necessarily that they were engulfed in fire. Just some glowing hands.

Through the smoke, and the barrier, it was unlikely she would see this happening. He would leap in through the smoke, estimating the distance she was at. Then he would begin to jab at the barrier with his burning fists.

*"Haaa!"* Due to the fire heating up around his hands it aided in quicker jabs and slightly stronger blows. And Makenshi was full of energy.

If her barrier was up then he would jab away at it until it caused enough stress that the barrier would lose energy.

If the barrier had gone down, he would then be attempting to pummel his opponent with flaming fists.

Most likely all she'd see in the smoke were two glowing orange balls barring at her at high speeds.

This was his next move. Take away her eyesight, then wear down her defenses.

15Jellymancer

Kayami who was scared at this smoke and the flaming fists had already finished creating her strategy. She would drop the barrier and slice at the fists with the steel part of her scythe hoping that it would have knocked him away a few feet away from her, hopefully out of the smoke so she could launch herself out of the smoke cloud. Knowing about the flight time she would spin vertically to speed her drop to the ground faster.

As she would be landing she would keep spinning horizontally this time and stick her leg out hoping to keep him at his distance from her. Then she would use her scythe as a projectile and launch it at him. This she hoped would not completely kill him but at least cut him somewhere.

"Hiyah!"

16Makenshi-Dono

Makenshi was focusing on whether or not the barriers integrity would hold up to his barrage of fists. He needed to keep focus on her in case would would in fact counter him while he was attack. And she did.

She would break down her barrier and Makenshi would take notice to this. She would then reach for her Scythe and make a swing at his fists. (it wasnt specified whether or not she already held them in hand, or if her hands were free during barrier activation)

Makenshi also had heightened senses due to not being human, but a fox humanoid known as a Kitsune. Upon her grabbing her scythe for her attack Makenshi would leap forward with his left fist out to make a forward blow at his abdomen. He would have his right arm bent with his elbow out, and in front of him to guard from oncoming attacks at that side of his body. In this case it would be her scythe coming in. However, at this close range and his faster movement, it was unlikely she would be able to make a full swing at him in time to stop his counter.

His attempt would be to interrupt her scythe swing by leaping in in the middle of it to make a blow at her body.

*"Ora!"*

This was the Boshiken strike again. And what was really useful with this technique was that it allowed for the ninja to make an attack at the opponents body, while using their free hand to hold their opponents swinging arm or arms back, stopping them from striking, while the ninja makes an attack.

Now it was uncertain which way the scythe would be coming from, but Makenshi at punching distance would likely close the distance faster than her swing could reach him, possibly causing his attack on her abdomen to succeed and stopping her attack. If connected she would be taking a blazing, above human strength level blow to the body.

This was the plan anyways.

17Jellymancer

Kayami was ready for this counter however, part of her strategy was to confuse him and he had fallen for it. Once her had grabbed and held her scythe then spun the scythe horizontally. Hoping that this would begin to twist his wrist she would dash up below him and launch him in the air with one of her combat back-flips she had learned in her training. This had no name however unlike his moves. "Cha!" When he would be in the air she would wait there in her starting Blood Leg stance that she had taken in the beginning.

Once he would near towards the ground she would use a rapid kick combo changing from his chest, abdomen, and at the knee. If these combos would land she would launch him again, but not into the air. This had no name but if it were her choice it would be the Goku Hikari knockback.

18Makenshi-Dono

What happened to Makenshi's flaming abdomen blow? Did it connect?

Makenshi was unsure whether or not his flaming fist had hit her in her abdomen or not, as he had originally intended, but apparently that was besides the point.

She was attempting to make a counter.

However, her counter was under the assumption that he had grabbed onto her scythe. This was not the case. The Boshiken Strike was used to block an oncoming strike on the users hands or on the weapons hilt, not grab at the weapon or the opponent.

So during this moment where she would believe he was holding her weapon and she attempted to wrap her weapon around his wrist, he would simple step away from it. This would in turn cancel her throw and the continuation of her attack leaving her weapon spinning awkwardly at nothing.

This also, likely, meant that her arm was outstretched to aid in her weapon's swing, and for her weapons stability.

Did Makenshi's fire fist hit? Who knows. This was now his next movement.

Makenshi already had his right arm up to defend his right side from oncoming scythe attacks he would begin his next move with the Ude Gatame Counter.

Where her arm was used to hold up her scythe (likely left since made unclear and responding to Makenshi's right as stopping the weapon?) Makenshi would shift forward and wrap his right arm above, and around her left arm elbow. Then using his wrist he would push up on her elbow, while holding her left wrist and scythe hand in his own right side elbow and ribs, causing force to be applied onto her elbow joint. Then using his left hand he would push down on her left shoulder, and bending his knee's to lower his weight and apply the Ude Gatame takedown. If connected and she were to come down on the ground he would follow up with a flaming fist pound down on her sternum to cause immense chest pain and burns.

"Fall!"

He would attempt to perform the Ude Gatame on her while she herself was confused about his Boshiken Strike. Countering her own counter with a takedown and chest blow.

19Jellymancer

Sorry! But yes it did connect I'll add it in. Kayami still in mid swing her free hand reached to the burned clothing on her stomach. She had not felt the punch connect but she could now feel the burning sensation on her abdomen. But this time she was ready for his combo again. This time she would attempt to use only one move that she learned from Krav Maga this move was called 360 Defense and then using the move Sinking Python to counter his Ude Gatame.

20Makenshi-Dono

ooc-

You're cool. Just wasnt sure.

ic-

Most likely, since Makenshi was leading his Ude Gatame with his right, she was going to counter his right with her Sinking Python. So did she drop her scythe in order to commence this counter? Possibly. Most likely.

Now Makenshi had his right grabbed, but that was all right. He was already using his left to head towards her left shoulder.

Now the counter for the Sinking Python was in an awkward position, as it's initial counter came from a jab, not a grapple. So it was probable to believe that Kayami was starting her counter in an awkward position. She would have to adjust her left arm completely to avoid Makenshi's grapple, while at the same time moving her right immediately to grab his right. Wasting any time in doing so would mean that her grab would fail to reach him in time to intercept his arm wrap. To make this move most effective, it was possibly safe to assume that her right arm and left arm would be above his left arm, making his point A to point B destination clear.

Now this is where the location of Makenshi's left hand was important. He was already inside her abdomen area. And he did already make contact. Now her focus would be placed in her counter to interrupt Makenshi, and her own burning clothes that would soon singe her skin. This was important because Makenshi was already moving his left hand in to grab her shoulder. Most likely she didnt notice or perhaps forgot. There were other movements for her to focus on anyways.

In the moment she would grab Makenshi's right arm it would leave Makenshi's left arm unguarded on the inside of her personal space. And his left hand was already in her shoulder area. So now he could, most likely, make his move without her having enough time to counter. But, instead of pushing her shoulder as he had originally planned, he would attack her left armpit. How? Since his original plan was to grab and push down he would instead grab her shoulder, but push his flaming left thumb into her armpit. "Hmph!"

Why? He was aiming to cause pressure damage and burning damage to her arterial veins.

What did this mean? Left unguarded it would not only burn her shoulder, but he would then be causing damage to veins that control not just her left arm, but her entire left side of her body. A little bit of pressure and it was could severe shock pain. Makenshi's added strength and the fire? It would likely cause paralysis. Plus burning? Possibly flesh wound damage, or permanent vein damage.

He would do this while originally intending to grab her shoulder for the Ude Gatame. However, since his right arm was stopped for her to perform her Sinking Python, he would instead change his grab her shoulder and stab her veins with his thumb. And since Makenshi was of the Kitsune, or fox-humanoid species, he had a K9 claw that would also be stabbing into her vein. This would most no obstacle in the way to stop his left hand from intercepting her shoulder.

His plan? Ending the fight with possible permanent paralysis.

21Jellymancer

Oh you're so nice, paralyzing her permanently.

Kayami was in danger, she could see that he would try to paralyze her but why? She wouldn't be able to fight or do anything in her life. And she would never try to let him do that to her, she's was only a young 16 year-old girl. This will not end well with me if he ever paralyzes me. She now was panicking she need to find a way to get out of this situation. Her force field wouldn't help, and none of her moves or counters would do nothing with him. Now she knew she was out-matched. This man would most likely win and she would be in the hospital probably and have no movement what so ever. She was desperate this time and needed to protect herself. Now she had her force field idea in her head clear as daylight and intended to use it. She would use the move The Reap to trip him and trigger her force field to get her some more time to create an idea that she could escape and most likely win this round.

22Makenshi-Dono

ooc-

In my defense, someone in another fight was torn apart and died and they are bringing him back to life. I'm fairly certain even if she was paralyzed for life the med clinic would be able to heal her again.

By the way, good counter.

ic-

Now she had a good counter done to Makenshi. This one he couldnt stop as he was already within her zone. He would be pushed back due to the reap. He would hit the ground fairly hard, but he had a flack jacket to cushion his weight, and as a ninja, falls and rolls were common. He wouldnt be in too much pain, if any, when thrown back.

He would simply push the weight of his legs over his body so he would roll back onto his feet. He would most likely be about six to seven feet away from his opponent. However, she was now in a barrier.

While she would take her time in her barrier he would reach into his cargo pants pocket on his left side, with his left hand, and pull two thick, black, metal kunai out. He would maintain his eye contact on her because at the slightest sign of weakness he would charge in. He would turn over on kunai into his right hand and hold them both like knives, but with his thumb slightly curved to where it would hold the kunai's stable, but if need be, he could throw them. "You know, there's only so long you can hide in that barrier." He would say while maintaining his eye contact. He wanted to be sure he wouldnt be rudely interrupted in his sentence like how he was rudely interrupting her counters with his own.

At the same time Makenshi would increase the blaze of his fire. It was originally glowing red hands, but now, now they would be flaming. Small flames, like on a candle, but flames on his hands none-the-less. Why? In doing so he would begin heating up the Kunai's so that when they hit, if they hit, they would burn. Like touching the surface of the oven on your bare skin. This would take a few seconds, of course.

He would simply await his opponent to drop her barrier and the moment she did he would attack.

By this time, most of the smoke would start to be lifting away to show Makenshi and his opponent in face off distance.

He would then take the Jumonji Ninja stance. In this stance he would have his feet spread in a smaller horse stance, apart with his weight lowered slightly, and his arms crossed in an "X" like fashion across his chest. He would stand slightly on the balls of his feet with his weight distributed slightly forward. In this sense, if he needed to kick of and burst out in a quick attack he could. And at 6 feet distance, give or take, it would only take a split second to cut that distance and give her two good burning Kunai to her body.

Now Makenshi wasnt aiming to kill her, but he was aiming to finish this fight soon. And his eyes would never leave her.
