**Futile, the shuriken attack barely slowed him down. Perhaps he would be merciful if he was not evil, perhaps he would simply knock her out and end it that way instead of ripping her to shreds. But if she was thinking like that it was out of fear, and if she kept thinking like that she had already lost.
Use me.
Adaire shook the voice of. She had scuffed him with a few flesh wounds but none of the vital targets had hit. The ones that had acquired his neck had been deflected, targets for the tendons of his legs had been nimbly dodged. If she took the time to aim he would see the attack coming and respond appropriately, but if she launch a wave her lower accuracy would allow him to do the same most of the time. At that hit ratio she didn't have nearly enough shuriken to make an impact. Was the only option to strike fight and retreat, or to dodge around him up close? She might be able to get in close and launch attacks using her agility based moves, but that would only be buying time until one of his attacks caught her or tripped her up. Even if she landed multiple blows, it looked like he could withstand them without blinking, while one hit from him would do damage. If he was undead, or demonic, even a stab wound might not seal this fight, so any kind of suicide rush would be foolhardy.
You can't handle him close range, he's gonna get faster, you can't just keep running! You have to make a decision now before it's too late!
"Fine, I understand, just don't get hurt!"
No more shuriken, it wasn't working. Adaire pulled back toward the two discarded weapons, being careful of some spare shuriken that littered the platform. Her red eyes were swirling with blue and the wrist band she wore was beginning to form white tendrils that sparkled and gave off sparks. The tendrils were moving up her coat as Adaire slid to a stop between the two weapons. She didn't go for either of them, instead she looked at Samuel, her eyes now a soft blue instead of a brilliant red.
"Sorry if I'm not very good with metal weapons, or my fists, so I refuse to attack you with them" She said in a much softer voice, "Circle, Circle, Circle!"**

> Circle of Agility: Red moves within a circle radiating two - three meters from her opponent. Extreme concentration on a small area of the opponent's space allows her to change direction almost instantaneously at high speeds. She can not attack in earnest until she breaks the circle, but keeping the formation allows her to launch multiple strikes on her opponent from many directions. The main idea of the power is to launch a barrage of light attacks, there is not much ability and the strikes are light. This is designed to confuse an opponent or stall while charging something bigger.
**The second person of her mind, Trish, shot forward without pulling any weapons out whatsoever, but she wouldn't go right at her opponent. Top speed, 23 kilometers per hour, not particularly amazing, just over 15 miles really. It was just a fast run really. But she would maintain that speed along the edge of circle centered on her opponent, and she would always try to keep herself just out of arms reach, always two or three meters away. If he moved, she would move, he gaze was glowing and locked upon him. So when she shifted to her right and got behind him it would seem effortless. But she wasn't attacking, so what was she really up to. The question was, would speed and ability to change directions on a dime be enough avoid his attacks. Could she force him to create an opening. Or was she trying for something more than just a mere opening?
Moreover, why was Trish's red trench coat beginning to develop a faint white glow from the inside that shone through the center line and from under the bottom hem.**
