Infirmary

Broken arm?

Need patched up?

Extensive operation after a near-death experience in one of your fights?

Some rest under a watchful eye?

Pooling together some of the greatest healers from across the realms that have flocked here to aid tournament contestants, this is the place to be if you've been busted up.

Staff always looking for white mages and the like. Careful though, Sokoya has disguised herself as one and is a bit more likely to maim her patients.

Have fun!

krash!

Double doors were smashed open by a bed on wheels being pushed by a team of medical professionals. The patient on the bed didn't even occupy the normal space of an adult, but a bulk of tubes and machines seemed to make him look bigger. There were all kinds of sounds coming from the machines as the nurses and doctors worked frantically.

Raphemal was already dead of course, but they were trying to revive him. None of the techniques seemed to be very effective. Things quieted down as the staff came to the conclusion that the boy was beyond help, even magical means proved fruitless. One by one the machines would be removed until the boy simply lay in his resting state. An intern was assigned to locating and verifying the information on next of kin, while a more experienced professional dealt with the corpse.

The mindblade fragment would be removed and set aside, more than a foot of crystal all and all stained by blood. Clothing had already been removed out of necessity, though the boy had on a modest gown and was under the covers. They had been pulled up both as an act of compassion and to obscure the grisly wound. Hours would pass with the boy set aside before the first signs of life returned. Curiously, the young fighter had survived death. His small chest slowly rose and fell in the telltale fashion of deep breathing. Color came back to his skin over time, and he even fidgeted slightly in his sleep.

"He's alive!" A nurse yelled. "It's a miracle!" Someone added. "Make sure he isn't a zombie!" Added the intern, who they glared at.

Once the hustle and bustle of the event died down, Raphemal would find his bed wheeled into a bigger area for holding general patients. His condition had improved enough in just a few hours that they didn't even need to keep him on machines. Consciousness proved elusive, but the boy was certainly alive. In fact he seemed to be in a very deep sleep almost like a coma which was strange given that his injuries seemed to have been healing at an accelerated rate of his body's own accord. With nothing regarding regeneration documented in the GTB application or shown during the premier match they were mostly baffled.

"How could this be possible?" A nurse asked, looking down at the boy from the end of his bed. A doctor in a white coat stood next to her reviewing the kid's charts.

"Hm. I saw a case like this once when I was younger and we were studying curses and their effects on the body." The doctor said.

"Curses?" "Yes. If a curse is strong enough it can prevent death." "That doesn't sound too bad." "Doesn't it? If that's indeed the case here, it means this boy's suffering will never truly end. There is no escape for him from the troubles of life. No, if he is truly cursed that strongly it means an immense and powerful will wishes for him to experience unending agony, forever."

The pair looked at the sleeping boy, wondering what kind of person would want to harm such an innocent looking child. Was it really possible, a cursed fate...?

Sokoya probably then ate the kid.

The end.

Meat was pre-tenderized and all.

Tres's recovery was far less dramatic. Not because of the fact that he nearly died, but because of the fact that Tres was in this situation quite often. Tres actually for once was not the center of attention. The child was and deservedly so. He had matched a titan blow for blow and he deserved all the recognition he would receive from the feat. To Tres, he was just another opponent. Some sort of halfling or gnome.

Tres sat up in his hospital bed after being treated. He monitored the war effort via a tablet as if he just had not almost died. Then Tres got an email. He checked it.

Tres would be interrupted from his studying of current events by one of the doctors. At least, it was another man in a white coat wearing glasses. They all started to look the same after awhile.

"These are for you." The man said, dropping a clipboard onto Tres' lap. It had forms about general medical care, waivers, etc. The usual things someone would need to sign. "I'm sure you'll be happy to hear your opponent is alive." With a scowl the doctor started to walk away. He stopped to look over his shoulder, giving Tres a cold stare. "The kid is lucky to still be here. We lost him for awhile but..." A sigh. "nevermind."

The doctor walked off leaving Tres to his thoughts.

The Infirmary

Tres looked away from the the tablet screen that was now obscured by all the forms in his lap. "Kid?", a heaviness began to gather in the pit of Tres's stomach. He thought back on his opponent and then his eyes slowly grew wide with the mounting realization. "...Kid?...Are...are you telling me you guys put me out there against a human child? I nearly killed a human child?!", Tres nearly shouted. His teeth clinched in a scowl and in a rush of adrenaline the dreaded psion would grab the arms at the side of the hospital bed and then begin to pull himself out of bed.

Tres being a violent person by nature needed something to hit to make himself feel better about the evidence that now suddenly pointed to the fact that the man had beaten a child nearly to death. However, weakened due to his recent recovery from his near fatal chest wound from his last battle the psions legs were weak and he fell to his stomach upon his attempt to stand.

Tres would then struggle to get to his feet, obviously still angry.

Reicher would be brought in and revived while Tres went on his rampage. Though he still had all his injuries at this point, his eyes went to Tres and he grinned, "What a hypocrite." He'd say as he passed by the angry man on a stretcher.

The nurses would ask him if he wished for a complete recovery or for some scars to be left behind, "Oh? I thought I would have to heal these injuries myself. If you're able then completely recover me." The nurses would go to work with their magic to restore Reicher's body, doing their best to ignore the rampaging beast not far away.

Repercussions would be met for his negligence for both his aggressive fighting tactics that caused his current misfortune and the fatality from blasting that technique off at point blank at a nearly incapacitated opponent. Relishing at the calamity resulting from this match up, Darius snickered loudly while carried on a stretcher, hearing about other tragedies that likely procured more media coverage and for its owner a PR nightmare. These healing professionals aggravated him immensely, forcefully plucking his cancer stick from his vulgar mouth. It wouldn't be long until they started the extensive task in fixing him up, something even Darius Kranz doubted could make him 100% with the combined talents of medical science and white magic.

The number of patients entering was soaring, forcing some to be bunked with other combatants. Perhaps it was entirely a coincidence, but when Damon focused on his gruesome battle, the silver haired psion would suddenly see them transfer the sociopath from the stretcher to the bed. It was an absolute shame he could not fuck the fine ass nurses, yet he knew it wouldn't be too long until he could get some ass and feast on some quality liquor. Easily sensing the negative emotions from the patient, it became obvious who this individual was. Waving to him sarcastically with his metallic limb, he stared at the television while conversing with him. " Enjoying the work I did against your cousin or was it your brother? I cannot tell you silver haired bishies apart. The sweet taste of victory, whether or not they disqualify me makes little difference. I'll be joining the others who did similar actions, judging by your condition you won. "

" Irregardless, you will always be that silver haired psion trying to play hero." Truthfully Darius lacked of fucks made him disregard the new hair color that seemed like a blemish in his opinion, not like he was into him or anything. It was the man personal identifier, something one could not toss aside easily like a trademark logo. Man did he needed to be high dealing with this man, fearing Damon would bore him literally to death, then to redeath. The psychotic fighter displayed no shift in facial features with him announcing his victory, actually thrilled at the possibility of getting his hands on the bastard.

" That isn't the type of crap the audience wants, haven't you ever seen gladiatorial fights? Knowing my luck that surgeon has been revived, though I suppose you can say I aim for self-gratification. Standards and class be damn."

All of his words probably drove the man nuts, finding this rather comical to be rooming with this man. Part of him yearned to see Ellie, bringing discomfort for just sensing his baleful energy. After a day or two he could start with the repairs on his spear and check on his automail arm.

" Cute, you're trying to give me a lecture. Everyone is an awfully lot of people, there are some who enjoy individuals outside the social norms. My philosophy is my own and fuck anyone who tries turn me away from it."

Despite the crudeness in his tone, one could learn something from a guy who otherwise was shaped towards this dark world. Most could not grasp the suffering of his existence, lacking significant lessons like benevolence, empathy, and trust. Possessing a warped moral compass like Darius was somewhat simplistic, if not pure. Damon could never comprehend that, thus the collision between two polar opposites. Whistling lewdly at the nurse passing by to hook up the blood transfusion and to stitch his head right up, the brute continued to snicker at the image of his fallen foe.

The nurse from before rushed to Tres' side when he fell. She wore a worried frown that suggested he shouldn't be up and about, let alone be yelling while others were in recovery. "No one really approves of this kind of thing, but the tournament organizers are careful to make sure entrants show some talent."

She would try and guide him back onto the bed, at least to a sitting position. Experience had taught the staff that forcing the fighters to do as they were told was all but impossible. Since no one wanted to try and sedate a guy who could punch their head's off Tres was more or less in the clear. The nurse tsked at him for being out of bed, but eased back. "Anyway, both you and your opponent should be taking it easy. He hasn't woken up yet, but here you are causing a mess."

She gestured to the dropped tablet and spilled forms before hurriedly collecting them and handing them back. Reicher's comment would only get a narrowing of the eyes from the nurse, followed by her huffing and storming off to find someone who could sort the fighters out. If too many of them got to mouthing each other off a battle royale might break open in the middle of the infirmary...

15Arretsu

Tentatively a petite woman stepped into the infirmary, fiery red silver streaked hair was braided back, and draped over her bare shoulders. Bright turquoise eyes surveyed the room, concern shining within their depths. The woman wore a black strapless dress, the front of the fabric hanging loosely over her thighs, to just above her knees, the back extending down almost to her ankles. It was a thin airy fabric that hugged her chest tightly, then relaxed out, and flowed as she walked.

As a nurse passed, the fragile looking female with sun kissed skin and bright nervous eyes would stop her. "Excuse me I am looking for Damon, do you.." "Yes just over there."The nurse smiled, then gestured towards a couple beds a ways down the main pathway of the infirmary.

Ellie gave the nurse a grateful smile, then turned and strode to where she was directed. As she neared, a voice in the air made her pause, and mentally wince. Of course Darius would be situated right by Damon, his crude tone and baleful energy always made her skin crawl.

Taking a deep calming breath, she stepped towards the bed where Damon rested. As her eyes swept over his injured body, her lips pursed into a thin line, as her arms folded beneath her chest. Ellie really didn't know what to say at first, but in the end her lips curved into a warm smile, and she spoke softly. "I am glad your ok, and congrats on your win."

Though honestly Ellie would have been just as content to have seen him lose, and come home. Sparing a glance at Darius, she assumed that he had won his fight as well. She had only caught half of it, unable to continue to watch the bloody spectacle for much longer.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Ellie reached out a hand and gently touched the bandage that wrapped around his face. "I don't see how one could not get hurt in these things. Most of the fights have ended with a death. I heard one match had put a child in the arena with a grown man."A look of disgust crossed her delicate face, and concern shined within her eyes."I hope that he is alright. I just don't understand how one could not know they were fighting against a child." Releasing a heavy sigh, she shook her head slowly, causing the loose silky strands of red that fell from her braid to flit with the sudden movement. Her tired gaze wondered over his form once more, taking in the wounds he had suffered.

" Tres belongs to our little past as comrades, he is just as ruthless as you, myself, and that sexy piece of ass Saya. Regardless don't pretend this is all about testing your might and tactics. They allow us weapons, this is a glorified bloodsport."

Eavesdropping was inevitable when located in the same room with someone you detested and the little vixen who could leech onto his venomous power with almost no consequence. That stranger from the bar heard of his intentions from the start, practically given a buffet to feed off his violent tendencies. The fact his opponent perished was simply a bonus, frantically laughing that amongst the causalities a former teammate was a cause for one of the deaths. Only Damon had enough restraint and benevolence to not finish off his adversary, probably fearing the possibility of a fatality.

" Nice to see you too Ellie !"

He smirked as her aura signature was enough for a greeting between them.

20YummyBiscuits

" Whoo! Winner winner, Chicken dinner, bishies. " came a shout from near the entrance. Such loudness was unneeded in the infirmary wards, so what the hell was happening?

Marx walked into the room, his blade through his sash. It's slim black profile spoke levels of danger, but the guy holding it looked almost ridiculous. White hair, tanned skin, he seemed to be one of the bishie boys he just yelled about.

As he walked in, the blood splattered clothes whipped behind him. A nurse ca,e to wipe the blood off of his face, and saw a peek of his nose. It was just about mush. She called a doctor over, and the guy set to work checking Marx out." Wait wait wait! " He said, his voice taking an exasperated tone. " I just need you to set it. I got the healing down pat, buster. " Marx intoned.

The doctor listened, and after a few minutes of preparation, he started yanking on the Djinn's honker like a piece of silly putty. Therein ensued a bout a shouting, the Djinn screaming once or twice about obviously needing something for pain, and aggravated reply about there was no such thing as morphine in a tournament. After a while the nose was set straight, and Marx shooed them off.

A look of concentration came over his face. Fresh blood dribbled from his nose and forehead, where a jagged cut ran along his brow line. The look of concentration increased drastically, before a audible pop came from his nose. It set straight on his face again, weird. Then, the cut on his forehead simply closed, leaving no puckered skin or anything of the sort.

Motherfucking Djinn for you, with their bodies all prana and what have you magic. It was a simple healing, but something he could never hope to do it the midst of battle. With it done, Marx laid out across his cot, with a look of bliss on his face. He was pretty again, and he might as well rest up.

Ellie just huffed, not agreeing with him, but knew that was just the way he thought and so wouldn't voice her disagreement. "I guess it would be possible to not realize your opponent is a child."Gaia was a strange world like that.

Twirling a strand of red around a finger, her gaze fell back to Darius, and studied him carefully, noting the wounds he suffered from. She wasn't to surprised to see that he had won his match, Darius was ruthless and enjoyed a good bloodbath.

A frown graced her glossed lips,"Yes, it is nice to see you made it out alive."She replied, a shiver coursing down her spine as she felt his miasmatic energy prod at her senses. Though she detested Darius to a certain degree, she didn't ever wish for his death. He had helped her a few times in the past, for which she would be always grateful for as much as she hated to admit. "Course cannot say the same for your opponent, though I heard he was revived."

Her eyes regarded him with scrutiny, her lips pursed into a think irritated line. "So will you be going to the next round then?" She asked finally, glancing towards the source of the sudden shouting she was hearing at the entrance of the infirmary.

A group of doctors and nurses were moving down the corridors of the halls. They had on the white masks over their mouths and wore the white skull medic caps usually worn in surgery rooms.

Tresondros Ecstuffuan Wrote:

A group of them came up to Tres, one of them pointing and saying: "Get that man back up on that stretcher."

The male and female nurse did just that, grabbing Tres by the arms and raising him back up onto the stretcher. Try as he might to push them away, he would find that they were a whole lot stronger than the average person, being capable enough to force him back on the stretcher against his will despite their not so muscled forms. Holding him down, belts were drawn over his body, material made to restrain superhuman folks like him from breaking free. With that, they began rolling him off to a room.

"I apologize," said a doctor and four nurses entering his room. "But self healing isn't something we can allow at the moment."

Half way through his healing, the djinn would find his magic somewhat stopped by some anti-magic mechanism coming from somewhere. A stretcher was rolled in as the doctor stepped forward.

"Due to the circumstances, at the current moment, we will have to ask for you to come with us to the operating room. We will complete the healing for you."

Arguments were a fundamental aspect of conversations with Darius, never wavering from his beliefs even vulnerable and wounded in a hospital bed. What froze the demented fighter was hearing her glad he was still alive, bewildered considering most yearned for his imminent death whenever that time came for him. Cynical eyes traced onto her momentarily, ignoring the glory seeking psion for now. The one redeeming memory of saving her from the World Eater was mostly omitted from his mind, losing most of his humanity by now. Sensing multiple energy signatures enclosing the room, Darius knew this little chat would be severed quickly. Transferred back to another stretcher, the brawling warrior from Makai answered her little question to the best of his ability.

" Shame my opponent has been resurrected, but to answer I do not know. Maybe visit me later or turn on the television to know."

25Arretsu

Seeing the doctor and nurses that crowded into the room made her tense.

Hearing the demand to leave, Ellie sighed heavily and stood from the bed. Glancing towards Damon she gave him a loving smile, then looked back at Darius. "Just might." She said, then strode out.

With that, the stretcher was pushed out of the room as they went down the hallway toward the operating room. He entered into a very large room with teal-colored tiles and various devices here and there normally used to patch up or keep fighters from dying to their injuries. Curtains hung here and there to help separate multiple people into different sections of the room for privacy reasons. Marx was pushed into his own curtained area, to which it was closed.

Reicher grinned as the new doctors popped in and told the oters to more or less scram. At least they finished healing his wounds to the point no one would notice them, though he couldn't really hold these doctors off in his condition. At least... Not directly, "Oh my, looks like I'm getting the V.I.P. treatment." Being fully aware of his bodies condition and all it's medical needs, he knew there was no reason for these doctors to intervene.

As the placed him on a stretcher and took him away, if he happened to pass another fighter, hidden by a curtain or otherwise, he would give them a friendly warning, "And when were done, there will be cake." A male nurse would assist with Terra exiting the main wing where patients were brought. He didn't look at her or even say anything, being as professional as possible. As she approached the main lobby area, she would see some doctors and nurses standing about, as if ready for more patients to arrive. The receptionist was just as eerie in how she didn't much as look at Ellie. She was just staring forward, with some blinking now and again. The lobby was just very quiet.

Reicher watched the lights come from their hands and listened as the nurse told him to relax. It was all too funny really, did they really think anyone who knew anything would expect this to be considered something healthy? Well Reicher at least assumed they knew better than that, so he may as well have fun with it. He had measures in place to ensure his safety even if they were to turn him into some rampaging mutant, "So, what do you suppose they're doing to us?" Reicher said aloud to those behind the other curtains, "My guess is that they are trying to examine our powers for one reason or another. Your thoughts?" He said aloud once more to the others. There were a few explanations but his made sense due to the fact that they were still completely alive. If they wanted to dispose of them there would have been much faster methods to do so...

Marx jumped lightly when the magic began to work. He didn't feel a thing, and the only thing the nurse said about it was that it was slow. Tis was no goddamned healing! There was something up. A mixture of indignation, curiosity, and unadulterated irritation came upon the Djinn's face.

His suspicions were shared it seemed, when a voice came over between the curtains. Another fighter was being healed, and he was just as weirded out by all of this as Marx himself was. He raised an eyebrow, but turned his head towards the voice. " Ive only got head injury, and these guys are holding their hands over my body. " Marx said, with a frown. " So there is definitely some ulterior motive up in here. "

Marx shook his head, letting the thought go. Whatever they were doing, at least they weren't going to seal him in a freaking bottle again. Humans freaking sucked with that, and to say the least, you felt yourself being bonded.

" I'll bet you their doing something to make sure we don't cheat. Or to stop us from killing anyone else. " Marx shrugged. The other rounds had ended in deaths, as so much he had heard. It was daunting to think of that; It wasn't even beyond the first round, and there were already what, three or four deaths? He didn't know the exact numbers, but still. First round, and you're out forever. Tis shit was dangerous. " I think we'd be a le to tell if they were trying to kill us, bro. "

No complaints could be made with the company of the two nurses who began to perform their healing magic to mend his body. Lewd thoughts lingered in his head, pondering if he could persuade them to a threesome after everything was said and done. Likely too professional to evade his vulgar advances, but hey some found the bad boy archetype appealing. Laying still he ignored the others and just relaxed.

He looked at his clipboard, writing something down on it.

"He has all the right to be angry at himself. It's not everyday a grown man kills a child."

The doctor even chuckled, as if finding the sin humorous rather than sad.

While active, all he could do was maybe try to bend a fork with his mind old-school style.

"Due to the current situation involving the accumulated violence, we are obligated to take measures that we do not get harmed while tending to the fighters of this tournament. Please comply. You will be escorted appropriately with this keeping you from doing anything. Is that clear?"

Ever been treated by a doctor before? He fucking decapitated himself just to have a doctor heal him before! Well, that's beside the point really. Reicher simply looked towards the doctor with a grin, "I wonder..." What will happen, what will happen... Hehehe...

Marx merely shrugged against his stretcher. This was fishy as hell, but it didn't hurt or anything like that. It was just boring as fuck, and only deterred the Djinn from a well earned nap. He needed to sleep a while in order to get the most out of the prana in the air. Hospitals and the like had loads of the stuff, on account of all of the high end emotion just floating around.

Marx looked to the nurse, frowning. " You better hurry this up, or I'm leaving. I need a nap, and I'm not gonna lower my guard with you guy on the prowl. " The djinn half heatedly tossed his head, before shrugging again.

What a drag.

" Just how fucking long does this take you? I still have plans to attend to like celebrating my survival in the fight I participated in." Darius was an anxious fellow, anticipating some exciting encounters when he returned to the resort. Naturally another obligation that stood between himself, some liquor and some fine honeys was getting his equipment examined, then hopefully repaired. Surprisingly patient, the sociopath decided it was easier to let the professionals take care of the healing, comprehending the security after all the fatalities that have tainted this tournament into literally the slaughter pits.

The doctor likely did not delve deeper into the medical records on Darius, exploiting enough drugs to make him fall asleep a difficult task. Granted he was still susceptible to magic, guessing they would do a mixture of the two for maximum effectiveness. Staring at the wall or a beautiful nurse if within the vicinity, he would wait to see whether or not he succumbed to whatever methods they employed to force him into consciousness.

Not the second after mentioning a nap, Marx began to feel the comings on of sleepiness. Just this huge wave of tiredness came upon him like some tidal wank off. Oh hell naw. This wasn't some, oh I'm thinking of a nap so I'm getting tired, this was full force magic sleep. Djinn knew when they saw magic anyhow.

Marx sat straight up suddenly, pushing the nurse away from him." Everyone up and at 'em, time to book! " Marx shouted between the thin curtain walls. Maybe his shout would break up other competitors. In the mean time, that nurse was calling for assistance. He couldn't use his magic still. Shit. With a scream of metal, Marx pulled his sword out, and brandished it before him warningly." I don't trust this crap. If the president wants it done, let him get his ass down here himself. Until then, this is a warning. Come in range, and I will hold no bars to the medical field. "

Reicher quietly accepted his fate... Or so it seemed. He even ignored the person causing a fuss around him. But secretly he forced his tongue against his canine hard enough to make it bleed. He didn't bite so his mouth wouldn't move. The pain would keep him awake.

Still he could tell the approximate effectiveness of the sleeping magic they were using and acted as if it was working within the expected time frames. If there was one thing a ninja could do, it was sell an act. If there was one thing a doctor knew, it was what a sleeping patient looked like. That said, these doctors would need to be telepaths to know otherwise.

The doctor and nurses backed off as the djinn shot up and brandished his sword. They knew they should have tied him down when they should. It was their fault for letting him come in with his weapon to begin with. The doctor frowned from behind his mouth guard.

"All of you fighters are the same. Throw out your swords and you all think you'll get your way. Marx, was it?"

The doctor looked at his clipboard, then snapped his fingers. One of the nurses nodded and removed cloth from an object they had latched onto their belt. It was a silver genie lamp. Its presence alone would cause a cold shiver to run up Marx's spine. This was mostly forced by the feeling of prison bindings that resonated within, something many jinn were vulnerable to.

"If you do not back down, we will be forced to subdue you by any means necessary. And I can use a new Corvette, come to think of it. "

Cracked skull. broken humerus, internal bleeding, possible cut axillary artery, multiple contusions: this is what Thurgood's chart has on it as medical staff bring him in on a stretcher, completely sedated to stop the fight. Yes, despite the injuries, and the obvious disparity between the size, skill, and strength of the fighters, Thurgood wasn't anywhere near willing to give up. In fact, he still isn't.

From the top floor of the headquarters of the GTB, an explosion went off, which was visible from most important areas on the GTB grounds. People below screamed as glass and debris fell from above, fire and smoke billowing into the air.

Arc entered the infirmary slowly following his fight, which as far as he could tell was undecided pending review by tournament officials. His opponent had landed a number of harsh blows inflicting a side effect, akin to frost bite or freezer burn to the skin beneath his robes. The effect was dangerous if left untreated and could cause permanent damage which is why he had come to the infirmary. He entered slowly glancing around the medics tent. He still had all his weapons with him, since he had come from the arena where his fight had taken place directly. As he was entering the tent he heard the explosion far above, and back towards the hotel. His stuff was on an upper floor of the hotel and it was surprising to look up and find a huge cloud of smoke and a gaping hole in the upper corner of the building.

Still his injuries needed to be treated before he could do anything about what had happened at the hotel and for that he needed the help of the medics, a simple salve would heal the injuries, and there was no need for real magical healing for the iajutsu swordsman. His robe hid his injuries but the burning numbness had touched both his left and right shoulder, and across the center of his body right about where his sternum was. So he walked in, on edge thanks to the massive explosion.

The doctors and nurses who were in the operating room tending to the fighters quickly fled their curtains, leaving out the door. Soon, all the other "fake" medics quickly left too as the real medics of the infirmary were waking up from their knocked out positions in closets, storage room, and other miscellaneous places.

Reicher sighed as the fake doctors ran away, "You just had to freak out..." He said as he sat up in his stretcher, the restraints somehow loosened as if they were never tightened to begin with. Getting up he walked over to the room with the djinn, glancing at him with a grin before continuing on and out. As he did a symbol appeared above his head made of the same blue substance from his match and a blue light enveloped him. Within a few seconds the light and the symbol faded.

No one could ignore the thunderous sound emitted through the explosion occurring at the headquarters of the GTB. Indifference was planted on his facial features, still a little drowsy from whatever techniques they employed towards their attempt to knock him straight into unconsciousness. Gawking at the personal fleeing from the area, this meant he could just let nature heal his wounds the traditional way. Pain lingered throughout many areas of his body, still pondering on everything that he just witnessed.

" Fireworks came early it seems."

Noiw that the real healers and physicians emerged to take care of the patients, the staff at once shoved Thurgood in a forgotten storage room on a steady drip of Thorazine, rendering him just a drooling zombie, to nobody has to deal with him...

...at least until Aveline comes in.

In short, with some yelling, some screaming, some threatening at gunpoint, Aveline carries Thurgood's Thorazine-doped body out to get some real treatment at another facility, after getting all their crap (moonshine) out of their hotel room and checking out.

Nov walked in with his hands on his stomach, the lance wound beginning to take form. It wasn't too bad, but if left unattended, would cause severe repercussions down the road. His gear was also quite torn up as well, which most likely meant he'd have to visit the blacksmith or armorer sometime later. He left his mask on as he walked into the hostile and sat himself down. This was despite the fact his chest, at this point, was a blotch of crimson due to dried blood. He would wait for the next nurse with patience as he took out a long drag cigarette out and put it into the mouthpiece of the mask.

He lit the spiced Afghan tobacco, letting the soothing scent of burning plant fill his nostrils. He would wait for someone to aid him, no need to rush...

shlok!

"AHHH" "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" "Oh my god!" "Put a tourniquet on that now! You, sedate this kid or kill him."

A single swipe dropped an attending nurse's arm from his body, the limb smacking the pristine floor of the infirmary wetly. Raphemal had just been roped in from his match in the Ghetto and wasn't quite simmered down yet. It took a whole team of experienced personnel to suppress him, and even then with his broken arm hanging at his side he wasn't going quietly.

The boy made a thrust for the nearest girl's chest, aiming to impale her heart, but it was intercepted by some kind of machine kicked in the way by the fast thinking doctor. With the Tyrant Edge stuck in it the cart spun away and then hit the floor, and the adults managed to grab the unarmed kid. Flailing wildly and shouting in some unknown language as they fought to put him in restraints, Raphemal proved himself barely controllable.

None too soon he was strapped down in the bed, bucking against it as best he could, as the doctor stepped up and put a needle in his arm. The kid's eyes rolled back in his head as his voice fell to a murmur, and the doctor smiled. Just another day of treating patients in the GTB. This time with a possibly lethal dose of sedatives. Not that it mattered much, this doctor knew, somewhat relishing the fact that he could just wing it. If the kid died he'd just come back from the dead, right?

"Clean yourself up." He'd say, throwing a towel at the nurse on the floor. There was blood all over the place and the stump had been tied off with surgical tubing. A more professional answer to his situation would be along shortly, but the doctor had more important things to do then coddle the staff - like playing golf.

60Vintrict

The nurse was pulled away soon after from the unfortunate accident caused by the child now restrained to his bed. The medics of this hospital were always aware of the destructive tendencies of their patients, but never would they have expected a child to lash out during a procedure and cleave a nurse’s arm off. The floor was a bloody mess, but all that was done was a cloth was thrown over it for the janitor to come and clean up later. Being a hospital janitor was not the best thing in the world. It was nearly as bad as being a janitor for a sleazy motel.

With Raphemal finally sedated, the medics could, at last, begin surgery on the kid. It took a couple of hours, mainly due to the fact that the kid got his arm practically mawed by a large metal disc. If it weren’t for the advanced technology of that was granted to them in this day and age, the kid would be without an arm for the rest of his life. After surgery, he was allowed to rest in his room, his arm bandaged from tricep to hand. He was still restrained to the bed, of course, but the way he slept peacefully almost made him look less like the demon that attacked in the other room, and more like an actual loving kid that mom and dad would be proud of.

A single nurse entered into the room. She looked like a forty year old woman, her figure milfy at best. Her hair was long and brunette. She walked over to the resting kid, looking at him with a hand coming to her mouth. Two other nurses stepped in, one skinnier with blonde short hair, and the other having black hair in a long ponytail. They all appeared around the same age. This was no coincidence, however. They all were friends in one way or another, which Raphemal will find out soon enough.

“Let’s go.”

A bed was pushed into the room. Grabbing each end of him, he was lifted from his spot on the hospital bed and placed onto the stretcher. With the door opened up, the three nurses stepped out with the head woman beginning to push him down the corridor, the women giving nods and smiles to the employees of the infirmary that they passed.
