BAMBOO FOREST

Remember those insane asian swordplay movies? Well its like that, when the competitors battle it out in the thich bamboo growth of the area, where everything is green but for the blur of bodies and the flash of blades.

Terrain

General - Heavy bamboo growth creates obstacles in the way, restricting movement

Weapons - None, unless of course you want to cut some bamboo and use it as a makeshift weapon

Natural Element Resource - None, Minor Earth

Bonus Effects - None

2Ryugi Kazamaru

The soft swirling fog of the morning was beginning to fade as a silver-haired warrior appeared from the slight moisture. The fog was beginning to burn off now, the ground good and dry. He brushed his scarf off of his shoulder, and hoisted his sword onto his shoulder. Today was the day he'd been waiting for. His red eyes looked around the field for a moment before turning behind him.

His black outfit and silver armband shone nicely in the sun, the crest bearing the team name, Ryugin: Silver Dragons. His black attire and white scarf made for a sharp contrast, but they fit surprisingly well. He clenched and uncleanched his gauntles, and moved his toes within his strong boots. This was Ryugi Kazamaru, the second member of the Silver Dragons.

He took a deep breath and once more looked behind him into the quickly fading mists of morning and spoke as if to no one.

It looks like this is the place. Come on over here Silver.

He was ready to fight and prove himself today. Today he would fight, once more, harder than he had ever fought before. He would push himself to his limits and back again, and all in the name of competition and reaching one's best. In reality, he cared little of the prize money, but more for the challenge of the fights that lay ahead.

3SaiDain

As he walked through the bamboo forest, anticipation was building up inside of him. He smiled as he saw a member of the opposing team. What team was it again..oh yea the Ryugin Silver Dragons. His lips parted and he spoke.

"So, it's my team against yours."

He still wore that insane grin as he said this. His voice was sightly chilly, Light shone his machete and his spiked steel gauntlets. He calmy awaited the arrival of his teammates.

They were more than enough to give anyone in this tourament a run for their money. Page leaned against a bamboo tree and smiled. He would be the last to fight.

4Exordium of Terminus

The slight noise of footsteps moving through the bamboo forest could be heard as Karasen moved through the bamboo trees, the light from his cigarette easily visible. Spiraling around his body seemed to be a slight haze of everpresent energy hovering around his body, or it could just be the smoke from his cigarette.

After a moment's travel, Karasen could see the first opponent of the opposite team. "Team Ryugin's leader?" He called out while preparing his two gauntlets, the vibranium gauntlet on his left hand and the adamantium gauntlet on his right. His little pouch on his hip held his six miniaturized staves, which could be heard shaking with each step.

~THUD!

A dark figure had landed right beside the Dragon Warrior. The ground was dry, good for jumping. That suited him just nicely. His emerald green eyes looked around the beautiful bamboo forest, noting every fine detail.

He was dressed in black and silver, with a silver sword pendant around his neck. He wore black brestplate, etched with silver runes and embroidered with a magnificent Silver Dragon. On his left arm was his FIGHTER, on his other was a silver armband with the Runes of the Ryugin. His long silver hair seemed to match his armor and attire nicely. This was Silver Moonblade, Captain of the Silver Dragons.

He grined as he looked forward, not looking at his comrade.

"You take the fun out of everything... and its Captain.

He saw what he thought was his opponents approaching. He gripped his magnificent Silver spear, Dragoonair, with pride. The spear had intricate carvings of what looked like Scales down the sides of its shaft. At the edge of the spear was what looked to be the head of a silver dragon, which "breathed" the leap shape blade of the weapon. There were two glowing rubies for eyes, by the paled in comparison to the ones at the bottom of the spear. All in all, the spear was 6ft in legnth, plus a 1ft long blade.

"So, you must be team Arazel. The pleasures mine. I am Silver Moonblade of the Ryugin. We can start... as soon as Chris shows himself."

6Makenshi Hayashi

( And so here I am. Sorry I'm late. )

7Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi smiled and chuckled a bit.

I'll call you Captain when I'm on your ship, but on the battlefield, you're my friend, and as such, I'll call you Silver.

Ryugi then turned to look towards Team Arazel. He noticed two of the three members prepping themselves, and began to search for the third, seeing him appear soon afterwords.

8Exordium of Terminus

(Is your third coming?)

(Is your third coming?) ((Yes, he'll be along shortly. He's trying to finish his bio to send to Kraun. Then he'll be here. For now, go along with some Teamside chatter until he arrives. That will pass the time. smilies/icon_3nodding.gif ))

10Exordium of Terminus

As he prepared, he looked over to the other combatants. "So, where'd you get the cool uniforms?" He asked, trying to pass the time as they waited for the third competitor from team Ryugin.

(Which two games out of these three should I buy for my normal Xbox? Half-Life 2, Doom 3, King Kong.)

11Cristopher Reinhart

This was disappointing. The sun had long risen and the comforting fog that crept through the forest was beginning to fade. Cris had been sitting, resting against one of the many bamboos, waiting for the spectacle to arrive. The scarf he wore covered his mouth and nose as his chin pressed towards his chest and his hat was pulled down to cover any light. Then it came, the first sign of the fight to come, a familiar aura, scent, and face.

Ryugi appeared. Then some idiotic grinning stranger, then what appeared to be his teammate. Not long after Silver also made his appearance. Cris looked them all over once more before he sighed away his peace in the forest. More than likely unknown the both teams he sat dead center in between them, cloaked however. He rose from his sitting position and began to walk only to leave the sound of footsteps as a sign of him there. What was left of the fog may've silhouetted him slightly making him look like a ghostly apparition. However, much like his rest in the peace filled forest that was also cute short.

As he neared Ryugin he came back to the visible world. A bit different this time however, this time one could say he literally stepped into it. And there he was just a few feet from his teammates, his pace didn't slow however as he brushed past them to a nearby bamboo. Needless to say he once again took his seat, arms folded, legs crossed, his face partly covered by his scarf.

"Ready...."

The only word he spoke before tipping his hat back over his face.

Barton Mostly, but these are my main fighting clothes, they just happened to match the rest of the team.

He chuckled as he finished, seeing Cris arrive, and completing the team of three.

13User 367130

"I picked them up on my way to... Chris, you have to stop doing that."

He was, of course, talking to the man who just appeared in there midst. There was no need to prolong this battle any longer, so he keept it short and sweet.

"How about we start this thing?"

(half life 2, most definatly)

14Exordium of Terminus

"So, what's going to be the battle order?" Karasen asked, also in a hurry to get this over with. Whether they lost or not, Karasen still had a demon to hunt down, behead, and parade around a town with its head on a pitch fork.

(Ok, now Doom 3 or King Kong?)

15SaiDain

Page turned his haed towards Karasen. His lips parted as he answered his question.

"Makenshi fights first, You fight second and I fight last."

He noticed the third member of team Ryugin had appeared. Page averted his attention back to Karasen.

"You face the one called Chris."

16Ryugi Kazamaru

So I guess that means I'm going first eh?

Ryugi had crossed his arms now, Ragnarok at his side stabbed into the ground. He looked to Silver to get a yes or a no.

17Makenshi Hayashi

Makenshi came scaling down on a set of bambo thickets like a spider. Silently sculking down the way a ninja would. He was always wearing all black, leather and such that he usually wore. He was the spitting image of Kadaj off the movie Final Fantasy VII Advent Children except Makenshi had more of a feminine look to him. He set foot on the ground with his team and stood a fine six feet tall with a leather coat on.

He didnt have his gunblades with him, nor was he prepared to use them. He only had with him a sachel on his waist on his back left side of his belt and a holster for a PDA on his left side. His hair shined a silver and hung over his face ( sig pic is an example ) his hair covering over his right eye mostly. It didnt matter really for the sunglasses he wore windowed over his red eyes.

He noticed the other team then smiled in a polite smile. If his eyes werent so deviant then no one would think he were a bad guy at all. He really wasnt he just looked the part. He bowed politely to them and kept his happy grin.

" Good afternoon gentlemen. My names Makenshi Hayashi, how do you do? "

He said to them, the shade of bambo hovering over his face. Or perhaps it was rays of sunlight peeking through an ocean of tree's? The setting was quite lovely and a lot of the shadow camo-ed with Makenshi's appearance. It was a lovely day for a fight.

18Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi nodded in responce to the man who had just arrived, still waiting on Silver to give him his yes or no.

19User 367130

"Give him hell... Dragon Boy"

Silver closed his eyes, having nothing more to say.

20Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi grinned at Silver's comment, and then walked foreward, taking a deep breath and cracking his neck. He then awaited his opponent to step foreward from the opposing team.

I guess I'm starting things off.

21SaiDain

Page walked towards his third team member, Makenshi. He and Makenshi sort of looked the same except he looked like a younger version. He whispered in Makenshi's ear as he past him.

"You're facing Ryugi..paralyze him."

Page was not a nice guy. He was born on cruelness. His cold gray eyes flashed as he said this. He made his way away from where the battle was about to be held. He didn't want to get in the way.

22Makenshi Hayashi

( Just so we dont start a confusion because a battle can be decided on looks, Makenshi looks like this, or his apperal anyways. )

23Ryugi Kazamaru

((Alrighty. I guess you're my opponent, so I wish you luck. Lets get this thing started! smilies/icon_3nodding.gif ))

24Makenshi Hayashi

( Ok jsut really quick. Abilities or none? )

25Ryugi Kazamaru

((We're going all out my friend. No killing or maiming would be preferred, however, they are NOT illegal. The fight will go according to tournament rules.))

Ryugi looked towards the man in front of him. He seemed to look alot like his brother Ryudo, except a bit younger and much more feminine. He took a deep breath, turned back to his teammates giving them a thumbs up, and then looked back towards the man.

Well, Mr. Hayashi, my name is Ryugi Kazamaru and I'll be your opponent. I wish you the best of luck, Sir.

Ryugi hooked Ragnarok firmly to his back and took up a fighting stance with a slight bow, about twenty feet from his opponent, and even more from his teammates, as he charged energy for the first few attacks.

The first move is yours.

Makenshi smiled and nodded. This would be a good fight indeed. He bowed the the young man as well when he bowed to him. And with the introductions made and the bows done it would be soon time to fight.

Makenshi placed both his legs together then clenched his hands except for his index and middle fingers. He pointed the left two up and placed the right two of his index and middle finger over his left hands ring and pinky finger right out in front of him. It was almost like he was just being an odd young man. Nothing seemed to happen from it however.

He skid his right leg back then leaned forward a bit on his left and placed his left fingertips on the ground. He pushed off on them then ran forward ten feet. He jumped out five feet in front of him then rolled another five feet and leaped up and did a right jumping snap kick then an immediate follow up snap kick off the same right foot then and third snap kick off his right foot in a quick tripple kick combo. The momentum from the jumping then rolling gave him a quick time lapse which made the one attack only a second or two long.

He had his right hand behind him and his left hand in front of him as he flew in his attack towards the man. On his face he still had that same smile. His opponent looked happy too. It was like a kids on Christmas. A child with skills of a pro. Sometimes the scariest things in the world is a child. Some children at a young age had no fear. Hopefully though they would just have fun and not have a personal vendeta by the end of the match.

He already had the ambience set in his mind. He already had the counter ready for a fist or arm based attack. He already had the counter set in his body for a kick based attack. It was in his mind that he was prepared already to land on his feet should something bad happen to his plan. If worse came to worse then he would just go to plan B, but for now he wanted to have some fun first.

Ryugi was astonished, the man had a very nice sense of grace and precision, however, as first attacks often were, this one was relatively easy to avoid. As his opponent dashed for him and jumped into the air, Ryugi ducked and jumped to the side, landing on the ground as his boots dug into the soil. As he moved to the side, his left hand rose up aiming towards his opponent.

Without a word he fired a tiny compact blast of light energy, glowing a brilliant, almost blinding white. The blast would travel at a speed of thirty feet per second. Most of Ryugi's attacks could be found at this speed, however, not all. If the blast were to hit his opponent it would immediately burn his skin similar to a cross between a sunburn and someone pouring boiling water across your side, as well as detonate with enough force to send a person of about 150 lbs about ten feet across the ground, and easily more than enough to send them off ballance. If the blast missed his opponent, it would also detonate, however, it would explode in a bright flash of blinding white light, enough to temporarily blind anyone within a five foot radius from the center.

Since his opponent was leaping up as Ryugi was firing the blast, he would be airborne, and therefore, very hard pressed to move and avoid the blast. And since Ryugi was nearly seven feet away from his opponent as he fired the blast, it would take a little more than 1/6 of a second for the blast to hit his opponent while moving at its speed. Since the normal reaction time was 1/4th of a second, this might prove a problem for his opponent when it came to even reacting to the attack.

Ryugi would then prepare for his next few attacks, with one turn of charge still under his belt.

28User 367130

Though he didn't utter a word, Silver grinned. He would have expected no less from his comrade. Ryugi and him have foughten on many occasion, and it was nice to sit back for once and NOT be on the recieving end of one of those attacks.

29Exordium of Terminus

As Karasen sat at the edge of the battle zone to watch the fight, he observed Ryugi's fighting style closely. Was this the power of this team's captain? It was not very impressive, as Karasen had seen many attacks just like the one being used by Ryugi, he had even used something like this several times before.

Makenshi was hit with the blast, but it was supposed to be a burning sensation. Makenshi was the emperor of the White Kitsune Clan. Elemental studies were normal in the White Kitsune clan. Fire was Makenshi's best element. The one he mastered first. It was almost set to his health that fire was most suited for him. Just like in a final fantasy game, Instead of being injured by the light ball he was hit and he smilled more.

As for the detonation portion of the attack, he was thrown, but again not hurt. Explosions had fire and ash in it, things that Makenshi liked a lot. He was still thrown, but with the bamboo all over the place he grabbed for a bambo tree then spun around it and swung himself off like a bullet shot to his opponent with both his feet aimed directly at him. He wasnt too far from him either and with the elastic like features of the bamboo he would move even faster. With this speed he could knock down Ryugi.

Should he miss he could still land on his feet and if his opponent defended he could just bounce off and again land on his feet. With the little amount of time which was about 1/6 th of a second as well his opponent would not have the amount of time to create anything energy based in time. A physical defense would have to do for now.

( Umm...I know my defense for your attack is rather confusing. Its kind of like in Final Fantasy when you...lets say Final Fantasy VIII when you junction something to your health you either become healed by it or invulnerable to it. Since its not actually fire, but a burning sensation he is invulnerable to it. If its like burning it wont hurt him. If its fire he'll absorb it. Thats all for that. I'm sorry. If my explaination here is vague I can dig up the full explainations in my clan. )

One problem with airborne attacks, they were generally very easy to avoid, or take advantage of. Once more, Ryugi would use this weakness.

As his opponent flew off, and spun around towards him, Ryugi mearely moved off to the side as his opponent approached him, reaching out to firmly grip his boots by the ankles. As Ryugi gripped the man's ankles, he would pull back and twist his torso downwards, his aim to slam his opponent into the ground using his own momentum against him. Once more, since his opponent was airborne, his direction and momentum were set, and very difficult to change by normal means.

Ryugi would aim to slam the man into the ground side first, possibly injuring and breaking his ribs. Bone breaking was completely legal in HoH, and therefore perfectly acceptable as a consequence. Ryugi would then plan to let go after aiming his opponent, another turn of charge being added to him...

The attempt was that Makenshi would be slammed into the ground with his own momentum. This wouldnt give Makenshi enough time to escape nor would if give him enough time to counter or attack so Makenshi had to do the next best thing. He would have to go and nullify everything that the men did as of then.

Makenshi caught the ground, before he was slammed, with his palms, the dirt and leaves now durtying up his gloves. The instant he would land his hands on the ground he would shift the weight in his hips and legs to the opposite side so assuming that he landed more on his right then his left that would mean his legs were being held by the left and he would have to shift to the right. Doing so would toss his opponent to the right and nullify his attack and his opponents. His opponent would most likely land on his feet anyways.

With the airborn time his opponent would have he would only have enough time to get back to his feet. There was something else he could do though. Something that he probably should have done to begin with.

Earlier he made a hand seal in his first move. It was the Kagebunshin seal. This meant that he made shadow copies of himself, however they never showed themselves. There couldnt have been a lot because then they would have been seen already. There was only seven of them that fell during the attack where he catapulted himself. Enough to stay hidden without being seen. Three of them had already placed hidden seals aside off in the distance equivalent to a mile off by a tri and a foot up. The equalled amount made the radius. That meant that that was their hiding spots. With the four that was left or five considering the real one they each dropped a bomb that did nothing, but make a loud noise. They all however had red eyes glowing. Anyone that looked at them would fall victim to the attack.

The attack being done was an acute attack of Paranoia. It was a hypnotic attack that if anyone looked even with a glimpse they were automatically caught in the attack. They made the victim think that they were bound with their arms and legs spread out and their limbs being melted off their bones. This would cause such a trauma in the mind that the person would slip into shizophrenia which would result in catatonic like endings meaning that there would be numerous cramps within the persons central nervous system or anywhere else in the body. Enough cramps to render a person unable to fight for the rest of the fight. This was the hypnosis through seeing.

Earlier Makenshi skid his left fingertips on the ground as well. That made no sense to use that as your push off movement. Instead it was the activation of the Never Ending area. Now no matter where Ryugi went he would always end up in the same spot. As would everyone else caught in the immediate area except Makenshi since he was the original starter. Escaping was simple as long as Ryugi could Mathematically find out where the seals were. And you couldnt reach them physically because they were outside the area for they had to MAKE the area.

If he escaped the hypnosis through seeing he would have it through smelling. He would still become hypnotized for the five senses tantilized the brain in some way. Every one of the senses affected the brain in some way. If someone could be hypnotized through seeing they could be hypnotized through smelling and the other five senses as well. The poison would be through out the area as well and no matter where Ryugi would run he would run into the poison.

Two facters that lead to a hypnotic body malfunction and a third facter that meant Ryugi couldnt escape from it. Through the hypnosis there was only one escape. No movement while hypnotized.

( I have to go this can be the end unless you can stop it. Its a Mahou sensei negima + Naruto technique. Volume 7 and Volume 12 of Naruto and Negima. )

Kege Bunshin in first post. Kage Bunshin doesnt make invisible clones.

Dont see where some poison came from, which seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Ignore it. Plus if it did, I'd make a call on like... Bagdad Bobbit or something. Instant win move, unavoidable in any situation.

End statement. Just ignore the weird poison part and continue. Personal Disqualification may result in the case of the attack on the entire team and not just the designated fighter.))

( They werent invisible in fact I said they were hidden and it was a pretty obvious sign that I did something weird in the beginning, but I dont know.

The never ending place spell is a seal move with three seals so thats how that works.

I dropped bombs with the last four Kage bunshins and it had nothing come out no smoke or anything. I suppose I SHOULD have said it was a bomb with the SMELL that had the hypnotic attack.

Its not an instant win move, but Sieg is the only one that has ever gotten out of it. Its all explained in the Naruto Manga and how to escape what its called etc. if you would like I will personally dig it up, post it, send links etc. I will even translate a Japanese version of it if need be.

I did have a mistake however. Its Volume 6 of Mahou Sensei Negima where the Spell of the Never Ending place is.

Its about Episode 120 something of Naruto and its in the Volumes of around 40 or so. I will look it up and show you all if you would like. All I did was use a combo with two different Manga's. Plus an addition of a little more, but the whole attack is based on that. Anything more and you can ask me. )

This meant that any attacks made after Makenshi tried to toss Ryugi would be null and void. His opponent had left himself wide open for Ryugi's next attack.

Ryugi's hands were already ideally placed towards his opponent for his next attack as he unleashed a technique known as Flashbang! Moving at a speed of thirty feet per second, two twin balls of brilliant white energy would fire foreward towards his opponent only milliseconds after Ryugi threw the man. As he fired these he would be jumping away from his opponent to avoid what was to come.

The twin balls would explode with an extremely loud and high pitched squeal loud enough to deafen an opponent for nearly ten seconds if they had normal human hearing, longer if it was more enhanced. At the same time they would explode with a light bright enough to completely blind an opponent for about seven seconds. The light was so bright, even if one were to close their eyes, it would still blind for a total of five seconds.

However, the attack had its limits. The bright light only had a blinding radius of five feet, and a deafening radius of six feet. After those distances the attack broke down, the light simply growing painful, and the sound being high pitched, but not deafening. Ryugi would be safely outside the attack's range by the time it acted.

As long as his opponent was within the radius of influence, the attack would go off without a hitch, the effects acting accordingly. The explosions were pure light, no fire, no ash or dust, and no burning effect. Ryugi would land on his feet after his jump, wait a moment, then attack his opponent.

The copies he had earlier created continue on with their never ending place plan and did seal everyone in. They had it set up so that only his opponent, Ryugi would be caught in the dimensions effects, trusting that his teammates and Makenshi's own teammates would not interfere with the seals in any way or interfere with the fight for that matter.

The original Makenshi did in fact make contact with the two balls and although he wasnt hurt by the balls explosion he was tossed off a few feet away and momentarilly blind. What was the more serious of effects was his deafened moment. He did in fact have a higher sense of hearing. This was not good. Since using his eye hypnotics meant that one day he may become susceptable to becoming vision impared he took advancements that made him hear using echolocation. With that his deafened state would last a rather long time. He covered his ears for they were in pain from the sonic attack.

The shadow copies were still in the air during the moment that the attack was commensed therefore they were unaffected, but they had to protect Makenshi now. The four surrounded him for the time being until the other three came back which would take about two minutes since they were so far away.

The four Makenshi copies did their Kage bunshins to make more copies for the real Makenshi's protection. there were now another set of seven protecting Makenshi which totalled up to eleven Makenshi copies. Seven being the amount created each time for this was a non-killing and non-maiming match. This was Makenshi going easy because he did respect his opponent.

Now six of the Makenshi clones protected the original long enough that he would gain his eye sight back. There may be a problem with his hearing however. His kitsune's ears came out, no longer looking like a humans ears. They were twitching more. If they were like humans ears they would be red at this moment.

All the Makenshi's did their red hypnotic suggestion eyes technique, which meant that the original would never become vision impared. They only did a minimal attack. Enough to hurt their opponent, not a lethal amount like the Tsukyomi technique. As perviously stated the attack would be that if his opponent had even a glimpse of the red glow he would become susceptable to its effects. He would have an attack of Paranoia. This time feeling as if his worst fear came true only ten fold. He would have no use of his physical body, but not know of it. He would feel as if the whole thing changed just into his worst fear.

This paranoia rush would form into a Schizophrantic attack that resulted into a catatonic attack. It would rush because of the hypnotic suggestions multiplying times ten. He would get cramps only bad enough that he wouldnt be able to fight.

As soon as Ryugi landed about eight feet away, he had landed in a crouch. His semi-spiked boots dug into the ground, and he pushed off towards his opponent as quickly as he could, forcing himself foreward. Within a second he closed the gap between he and his opponent, the clones descending around him as he arrived.

Ryugi then activated one of his own "Secret Techniques". He tapped into the Elemental Realm of Fire, his body acting as a portal for the raw unbridled power of the ancient magic. However, rather than keeping the portal open, he left it open for only a split second to make use of its energy, quickly closing it before he tired himself.

The massive flux of energy caused the air to expand around Ryugi enough to create a massively expanding wall of force. The heat within the blast would disapate enough that it wouldn't burn anyone, but it was enough to toss a person, or several descending clones nearly twenty feet away with ease.

At the same time, he jumped towards his opponent and his feet flew forward, the spiked metalic bits at the end of the sole aiming to collide with the man's solarplexus and chest with enough force to shatter ribs at the most, and at the least, bruise them to the point it hurt terribly to breathe. If it connected, it would most certainly knock the wind out of the man, as well as scrape and cut up his chest.

The hit would push the man backwards and toward the ground, the time between jump and connection being only about half a second, bringing the total attack time to about two seconds. And since Ryugi had managed to attack the clones before they could copy themselves once more, he only had to deal with four, while the others were still more than a minute and a half away...

He came in a time amount fast enough that the back two copies could cancel their attacks and jump out in front of Makenshi with a quick wind barrier. There would never be enough time to make a wind barrier to completely stop the worce blast, but there was enough time to divert it away from the real Makenshi. There wasnt enough time for them to protect the first two however so they sadly enough poofed into nothing yet again.

Since Makenshi could send the copies information he told the three that were coming to come with reinforcements. One Kagebunshin, the closest one that was just a few seconds ahead of the other two made his own set of seven. There were now eight coming in.

As for the two that were still there, they were near to being dissipated since they could only divert the force blast they would have to make a temporary shield. One jumped in front only to protect the other one. He knocked back the opponent from his kick, not enough to make it a counter, but enough so the opponent would just be sent back for a moment. The other copy only had enough time to drop a seal that could protect Makenshi long enough that he could regain enough sight to defend himself. He needed five seconds and he could have at least3 to four. There wasnt enough time to make the shield strong enough to protect him for any more then four seconds.

The defense came in only one second and the copy had to take an already made copy of the shield for only a second. It made it rather weak. Strong enough to last for four seconds at most, but not strong enough that it could defend for more then that. With only one second that he wouldnt be able to defend himself it sounded like nothing. Sure he could make copies of himself again in less then a second, but if he did at that moment then they would also be blind and deaf. He could do one other thing depending on if his opponent did something particular. In four seconds he would have absolutely no defense for a second. In another minute or so he would be able to hear, but that was different. He would be in trouble soon.

( Honestly I dont know what to do when that second comes up. I have no idea what to do for that second. )

50Ryugi Kazamaru

In those precious four seconds, Ryugi had recovered from his opponent's tiny push back, and had used another of his secret techniques. Trading his stamina for power, he supercharged his body with a little more energy than he would normally gain in one turn. Already having three saved up, he traded 10% of his stamina for one extra turn of energy, pulling the total to five.

Then, pulsing as much energy as he could into his body, he unleashed a full on barrage of power, his hair whipping back and winds spinning around him as he braced for the rebound of the attack, his scarf whipping around from the force. Then, with a mighty battlecry, his eyes burning with anger and determination, he unleashed the horrible attack apon his defenseless opponent. Within three and a half seconds he had gathered enough energy and unleashed his might.

Gyyyyyyaaaaaahhh!!!

With a titanic shockwave a beam of pure white and glowing light energy exploded from Ryugi's body and fired towards his unprotected opponent at a speed of nearly fifty feet per second. With Ryugi only about five feet away, the attack would only have one tenth of a second to reach his opponent, and it would have enough power to tear through the barrier like tissue paper.

The ammount of power coming from the attack was enough to tear through clothing as if it wasn't there. The light was in a mix of different spectrums, but, it contained no infared, the type of light that is called "heat". Instead, it contained some of the most powerful types of light in the spectrum. Gamma rays that could kill next to anything, Ultraviolet light that caused sunburn and broke down the skin's cells, and of course, bright white light, able to induce temporary blindness that could last for hours.

The sheer force from the blast would be enough to simply tear his opponent's skin in places. No need for burning to cause injury here. The speed of the photons of light would be fast enough to merely cut him open like dozens of tiny razor blades. Mind you this attack was not lethel, but it was terribly damaging. The force would also be enough to toss him nearly one hundred and fifty feet in a straight line through plants and objects that could severely damage his back. (The attack lasts a total of three seconds. 50 ft/s x 3 =150ft in three seconds.)

After three seconds of firing the attack, Ryugi would stop as the beam disapated, and he would then draw Ragnarok, his trusty broadsword. If this fight was going to continue on, it was going to get FAR more dangerous...

Makenshi only had three and a half seconds. Only enough that he could prepare to endure whichever attack came next. He drew a sanskrit in the ground that made the sign of Endure. It wouldnt have its full effect now since he was moving from a Chakra enduced skill to Magic based. Chi and Chakra conflicts with Magic energy. He would only have enough magic energy now so that he would still get cut and thrown. He would have bruises and still become injured in a pretty bad way soon.

He had enough time to make the symbol, which he had to do with his eyes closed. Since the attack came before his eyes were completely healed his eyes were closed during the attack. All he could see was white from the first blinding attack so he couldnt tell if another blinding attack was coming in. He would still gain back his eyesight soon, but his hearing wouldnt come in till the other Makenshi copies came back.

He had his endurance spell drawn, but only long enough that it could be cast. It wasnt powerful either. He was still thrown back. Being thrown into the tree's felt like nothing since he was thrown into four ton boulders before, but being hurled made him lose his sense of what was going on around him. He was probably closer now to one of his clones, but perhaps not the clone that had the reinforcements coming. From his guess he was close to the east. Now was time for his two last resorts.

He pulled out his star ball from a small pocket hidden away on his jacket. The pocket was lined with a rave metal, which was known for negating non physical attacks. This was most protected to him and being thrown away meant that he had a lot of space now from his opponent. He had time. He pulled out his star ball and swallowed it. The bad part was that it would come back later, still not broken, but in a form he wouldnt want it anymore.

He was drawing energy from the starball. When he was younger up until just recently he was holding energy in the star ball for three people. This

meant he would be healed now, with scars of course, and he would have a major jump start in everything. This would only last perhaps until five hours and when it came back out it would have no energy in it. With the side effect that when its done he will sleep for a while, But it had to be done.

He got up and brushed off some of the torn off clothing and such then cracked his back. If this were dragonball z then supposingly this would be his super saiyajin four. That was only if this was that show and if he was a saiyajin, but he wasnt. Everything was hightened now for him. He was still deaf though. He could see, but only blurrs which meant he had to use his eye suggestion again to see. He did so, but his eyesight might be different again later. Once his opponent saw his eyes he would be stuck in the Tsukyomi.

He drew on a bomb and wrote down the names of everyone around him except his opponent, and he wrote it in sanskrit. He threw the bomb to an area that his knew his opponent would most likely be in. He could see his opponent clear as day from where he stood as well with his enhanced eyesight now. The bomb was the suggestive hypnotism bomb again. There again was no where to run from it since it was the Never Ending area technique still going on and now his copies were closer now. When his star ball was over in use he would fall asleep for a while until someone healed him as well.

The time it took for him to swallow and reach for the star ball was about three seconds and his opponent was far off since Makenshi was thrown 150 feet away. Everything for him was now enhanced, but only for a while of course. No outside substance would stop that now. Everything that he was doing could be done in no more then twenty seconds, since throwing the bomb was a factor, writing everyones name, and pulling out the star ball. What could happen now?

52Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi took this time to prepare for "round two". Round one ended up with the two fighters split apart by nearly 150 feet, so Ryugi decided to charge energy for his next few attacks. Getting a good one turn of charge in, he noticed his opponent's bomb being thrown at him. Thinking quickly, he swung Ragnarok and hit the bomb away, it detonating and sending its poison across the field.

When Ryugi noticed the smoke from the bomb wasn't disapating as it should, he quickly decided to remedy the situation with another quick blast of energy like he had used to divert his opponent's clones. The heat and force from the blast almost instantly dispersed the poison to a harmless distance.

That trouble dealt with, Ryugi went back to charging for his next few attacks, his sword beginning to glow a dull red with energy. He then calmed himself, feeling around for ambient energies in the air. He couldn't see his opponent, but he knew approximately where he was from the ammount of power he now held. He then noticed something strange. It seemed there were various points of energy scattered around him in several directions...

They were all close enough now. All about the distance in a circle that Makenshi was. The other two Kagebunshin copies that were without reinforcements were informed to create their own seven Kagebunshin copies, each. The distance of which they would have time to do so. It only took a second. They each drew signs in sanskrit on themselves with the words " Negate Attack " on them. It meant that for one attack they would be unharmed.

There were now twenty-four kagebunshin copies and one Makenshi original. They all, from where they stood, did a light dash and moved forward in a litteral light dash ( you see him move, but its like a firefly wizzing by faster then sound, but slower then light. ) till they were about one-hundred feet away from Ryugi. This was space enough that everyone could charge a small ball of energy the size of a soccer ball.

Every one of them kicked the blast and sent a barrage of three-hundred soccer ball sized concentrated balls of energy at Ryugi. It was Makenshi's Splinter ryshuuken. Makenshi was the only one that didnt fire. Instead he made three balls of energy in the shape of a triangle around him and let them levitate there. It was a concentrated amount of energy in the balls that could fire three hundred shots. It was only a drop in the bucket to fire and create them, it was another amount of energy to have it so that they would follow their opponent.

Originally this attack was created for the soul purpose of fighting a one man versus an army type of battle. It was one on one now so this would be different. There were twenty-four times three hundred. This elapsed time of running and firing would equal to about twenty seconds more. Each ball of energy was equivalent to, now, a single punch from an average man. Together, however it was a hit from an army. That was if it was one Makenshi doing this. With twenty-four it made seven-thousand-two-hundred shots. Each one following Ryugi. Shields wouldnt work for too long since it was a constant barrage. Even the ultimate shield would shatter after a single barrage. Running from them wouldnt work since it would be easier to run between rain-drops. There were those who escaped this blast, but would Ryugi?

Makenshi waited about two seconds after the Kagebunshin shot their blasts before his shot his. He spun in a quick spin that looked like a blurr, fists out. He hit the blasts in his spin to let loose another nine-hundred shots of energy. This made a grand total of eight-thousand-one-hundred balls of energy. All focused on one target. This was MAkenshi's signature move. The Splinter Ryshuuken. ( More info in the journal. )

Elapsed time would be about thirty-seconds. Five to create and fire the balls and twenty-five to let it rain.

54Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi was SHOCKED! Never had he felt of seen such a powerful diplay of energy before. However, unknown to anyone on the battlefield except for his team captain, Ryugi would be perfectly fine, and it was all thanks to his weapon. As the Blasts came into view Ryugi began to spin rapidly around in a circle. Faster and faster he spun until he seemed to be like a blur!

Then, the blasts converged on Ryugi's form like a massive army of rippling energy! But then, something happened. The ground began to rumble and quake, the ground spitting from something hidden from under the blasts of energy. Then, it all became clear! A massive pulse of energy erupted from where Ryugi was as the energy of the blasts was absorbed by none other than Ragnarok!

Fatser and faster Ryugi spun, the blade glowing brighter and brighter! Winds whipped around the battlefield and blew arcoss the area as the massive vortex of energy took in ever more energy. A cloud of bright white light surrounded Ryugi as he spund, blurring to the naked eye. And then, with a might battlecry he let loose a massive flurry of white energy blades, each as dangerous as the blast he had fired earlier!

DANCE OF THE BLADES!!!

The white cloud of energy literally erupted with blast of power. The energy blasts flowed back along the leylines of his opponent's attacks, each one easily powerful enough to destroy the troublesome clones that had fired the attacks towards Ryugi in the first place!

Again and again the sword was charged to critical levels of energy and released with power strong enough to inflict massive damage. The clones easily destroyed, Ryugi then directed his attacks towards the smaller pulses of energy around him, the blasts instantly vaporizing the tiny and feeble spell runes that had held him in place for so long. The dust cleared as the massive volley of energy had been absorbed and released in powerful waves. Ryugi was now free to move once more!

It was then that he saw the final blasts of energy from his opponent. He charged towards them, anger and power rushing through his body! He held Ragnarok out in front of him as the energy was absorbed into the sword, adding up to a total of nearly fifteen turns of charge combined with Ryugi's body and Ragnarok struggling to maintain all of it.

As he neared his opponent, Ryugi then released some of the pent up energy to launch him into the air high above the treetops of the Bamboo Forest. Once his target was in sight, he moved downward. Only Ragnarok could unleash attacks with this much power, and no one had ever seen an attack with this strength from the sword. Not even Ryugi.

Stray energy leaking from the sword fromed a semi-barrier around Ryugi as he fell towards his opponent, letting out another battlecry as energy surged from his form!

PLANET DRIVER!!!

The semi-barrier would protect Ryugi from just about anything his opponent could throw at him with the energy deficiency that would come from unleashing that many blasts and oncce. Ragnarok's blade sliced into the ground, sending the light energy plowing into the rock below! Then, the ground shook, seconds before light beams strong enough to rip flesh erupted from under the ground, and the ground below Ryugi and his opponent literally shattered!

Razor sharp chunks of rock, capable of parting flesh like razor blades, were cast around whizzing away from Ryugi at fifty or more feet per second. Dodging this entire attack would be like dodging a hail of bullets coming from every direction. Even larger chunks of rock were tossed about in the hellstorm of light and earth. These were powerful enough to shatter bones, and toss a person into the maelstrom of debris.

After about three to four seconds the attack would cease, the power from the attack creating a crater nearly thirty feet deep and seventy feet across. Ryugi was drained of energy for the time being, but the tradeoff was WELL worth it...

Silver grinned, his teeth shining. It was rare that his teeth were ever shown, but he was considerably proud of his teamate at the moment. Ryugi didn't even need a Striker to get out of this troublesome situation. He had saved his "trump card" until the perfect moment, and it worked flawlessly. He even did a "little" jump ten feet into the air, summersaulting the way down.

"YEAH! Thats how its done, Dragon. Now... finish him!"

He was extremly pleased, and entirely happy that his friend was on his team for the tournament.

Makenshi was thrown into the air from the surge of energy. He had already jumped up to avoide the sword when he thought that Ryugi was coming down to slice him. He was only about ten feet in the air when Ryugi came down to earth and stabbed the ground to release this attack. The rush of light energy pushed Makenshi farther up, but as he went up he noticed that the rocks would fire off like, bullets at him if he didnt do anything. Of course rocks would fly at him. It was an explosion of energy.

Makenshi had to use most of his energy now. He had to do a similar move that Ryugi did, only slightly different. He added his knowledge of the light dash and the Breaking point technique together. He would also use his winder mastery and fire mastery together. He used the wind and light dash maneuver together to blow himself into a spin and use the light dash for a faster, momentary spin. The blast of light energy gashed his skin and left deep wounds and cuts.

During his spin he moved the heat that he would gain from the light dash and moved it to his hands. He had the heat set to two-thousand-seven-hundred-thirty-two degree's Fahrenheit, or one-thousand-five-hundred degree's celsius, the melting point of rocks. With this and the Breaking point technique he could break or melt the rocks around him to defend himself from that. He continued on with the Suggestive sight so that he could see which rocks would come in. His hearing was slightly back, but not enough that he could use to aid him.

With the light dash and his eyes working for him he could break the rocks around him so that they wouldnt become an issue for him. The breaking point technique is a technique used by CONSTRUCTION workers of martial arts to destroy boulders in the way of their construction. This plus the speed of the light dash spin plus the Suggestive sight ( which is I see things easier and I can see through illusions or Genjutsu ) he could see every rock that came by and defend against the ones large enough to do major bone breaking damage. He would hit them at their breaking point and shatter them so that he wouldnt he hit by them. During his training at ( Lu Bu Dojo ) the boulders would smash into his body, building up his endurence and defence, However it wasnt enough to defend against his own energy.

His flesh was becoming gashed all over the place except on his chest for the lining of rave metal that acted as a physical shield and a magical one TO protect the Star Ball from all damage. Terrible things could happen to Makenshi if someone were to take his star ball. Not that that was a problem now. His blood spilled over the ground that was left. He was ok from the first attack because of the star ball, of which would run low on energy sometime soon.

Makenshi used so many skills at once that it was a chunk of his energy taken out. His star ball recharged him to 110% of energy. Thirty percent taken out to use the three Splinter Ryshuuken. Another ten taken out from restarting the Suggestive Sight. Another ten taken out from his light dash. Another five taken out from his elemental uses. Another five taken out from moving so fast with the breaking point. Then thirty to thirty five more percent taken out from the blast itself, since it was originally thirty percent he exherted. This left him with Twenty to Fifteen percent of energy left. Only enough to do physical combat, and not very well since he had so many gashes. His gashes, however werent in his feet, for his boots were rather thick. His leather protected his legs enough, for there being two layers of leather since he also had his leather coat draping over his legs, ripped yet there. His legs were still cut, but only enough that he noticed they were cut. Not enough that he couldnt move them. They ached though.

His arms ached a bit more and his face was cut more now. His left arm was perfectly fine though for it wasnt his actuall arm, but a mechanical one. ( Yes it is mechanical it has been for a really long time now. ) He could still use his left arm, scratches and all. It was scratched deep in many places. Made from an alloy ten times stronger then titanium, heavy as well, but not too heavy. He had the metal lining in his chest portion frmo his jacket protecting his chest area, his right arm was pretty messed up, his face scarred up now too.

Makenshi also ran out of energy. All that was left was only one weapon and nothing good enough that he could hit Ryugi. He had little to no health left. Little to no health left. All he could do was defend in his landing point that was about ten feet away from Ryugi. The time it took to defend himself was about two seconds, not being able to defend against the light energy. He stood up streight, but bleeding quite a bit and held his left robotic arm out in front of him. This would be his last few moves for a little while. With his right hands he just made odd hand gestures. First two fingers, index and middle, outstretched, then a fist, then his pinky out, then as if it were clenched, but with the fingers spread out then his index finger. He only had one more seal to make to cast a final technique only if he needed it. If he did it it would end everything in a draw from his loss of energy and his opponents loss of energy. He would only have five minutes before the whole thing went null and void. When it did his energy would be ok, but still only in a defensive state.

57Cristopher Reinhart

From the display the opposing member had shown thus far Reinhart couldn't help but be annoyed. Was this guy for real? Making clone after clone, sealing areas, then launching an onslaught of god knows what. Ryugi handled himself well as far at the competition goes he assumed. Though both sides displayed an enormous amount of energy attacks Reinhart wasn't impressed. Hence he remained unmoved. Though the ground shook and rock flew everywhere he kept still.

His face still hidden underneath his black scarf and hat, arms and legs crossed, his back still resting on the bamboo. The only thing that could've been considered acknowledgement of the things going on around him was the simple glance he gave the chaos. No more, no less. The only thing that excused him from being inanimate was his steady breathes. Guess he may be next unless that fox pulled another twenty something odd clones out again.

58Ryugi Kazamaru

This was simple enough. Ryugi used his supercharge technique to take an extra 2 turns of charge from the realm, while docking another 20% from his stamina to bring him to roughly 70% remaining. This gave him access to a single attack at two turns of charge and another with one.

Ryugi's image was covered for a moment by dust as it blew past him, but it quickly revealed him once more, still standing in the same position with his sword ready to strike. One thing was for sure, this would end soon as Ryugi slashed towards his severely weakened opponent...

Makenshi only had two moves left. Either one meant that he would lose his energy soon. HE stood, not tired, but in pain. Once the fight was over he could heal himself, however for the time being he was still in it with his opponent now charging at him. It was about ten feet so Ryugi would have to come to him in two or three steps.

Makenshi turned his left arm backwards as it fired his draining shield just in case so that the spectators of the other team and his team wouldnt become injured or caught in the cross fire. His opponent would probably be at him in a second or two and he only had one hand sign to make which was pretty simple.

He leaned all his weight backwards to avoid the sword as it came then he made the final seal. He made a thumbs up like sign with his thumb bent. The final move was a use of ten percent of his strength left, which was good enough since ten percent was a lot yet a little amount of energy for him. The moment he did so an explosion erupted immediately from it. The explosion was mostly just a burst of fire and a force strong enough to send everyone around flying off about ten more feet. Like being hit by a truck or so. The fire was a burning hot six-hundred degree's farenheit, which felt good to Makenshi. The force probably wouldnt have really thrown the spectaters too far, but Makenshi didnt want to risk it.

It enough to send his on coming opponent flying off into the distance or burn him. Makenshi would hit the ground too, only his right arm would be in any real pain from hitting the ground so hard and so fast considering it was the most damaged. As he lyed in the ground he relized that he only had five percent to ten percent left of energy. It wasnt a lot. If he got up it would take even more energy.

There wasnt enough energy in him for an attack, but probably there wouldnt need to be. Only one thing he could do if his explosion didnt work to end this in a draw. He mumbled latin verses to himself as he lyed on the ground. HE smiled as he did so. This was one of the only fights where he was ever rendered injured before. Except for fights with Michael Noire.

" Emittam...Sagitta Magica...Aer...Capt.... "

His voice was a bit raspy and low. It was enough that the people around him could tell that he was mumbling. The blast only took a second, but that was a lot of time to think. It felt like he had hours to think of this. Think of the things he should have done and what would happen once the negative effects of the star ball would kick in. He would just lye on the ground. He was too tired to do anything else. He just stared up at the sky thinking as he waited for his opponent.

( You didnt explain too much in your last post, so I'm assuming that you were coming at me. I only had to make one more hand seal and it doesnt take a second to give somebody a thumbs up, so yeah... If you dont get burned you would probably get thrown back if you werent thrown back you would probably get burned. If nothing then you would probably still end up just flying over him as he falls down. )

60Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi slashed towards his opponent, and his opponent hit Ryugi with the blast. Ryugi wasn't burned however, and since he was leaning into his attack, the blast only pushed him back about three feet. Skidding across the area in a crouch, Ryugi then dashed towards his opponent, closing the gap in less than a second. He then dove at his opponent. Then, when Ryugi was close enough...he exploded in another light based blast!! (That means no heat etc for you.)

The force of the explosion would be enough to send a person flying backwards about fifteen feet, and it was still strong enough that the concussion wave would injure bones and slice skin once more, especially at the close range. But if Ryugi exploded, then that must mean...

WRONG!! The real Ryugi appeared behind his unsuspecting opponent and swung Ragnarok in a horizontal slash, unleashing a powerful wave of light energy in a lancing flow! This energy would also feel like several razor blades were cutting across Mak's already injured skin.

He had used the explosive blast to hide his footsteps, not knowing his opponent was still deaf. But how had he performed this attack? It was simple really. Using the first two turns of energy, he created a light shield. This was a spherical shield of photons that rendered Ryugi invisible, and since the shield was made of a physical substance, and not magical energy, he would be safe from his opponent's special vision. Of course, Ryugi didn't know this, he had used the attack to confuse his opponent.

The second attack was the most obvious. As the dust had covered him, he had created a light clone. This clone was a collection of photons that resembled Ryugi in every way. It was even given some of his abilities. The clones could be detonated as his friend had just shown Mak, in order to take opponent's by surprise.

While his opponent messed with the clone, Ryugi had moved around behind him, shielded from view by his light shield. Then, when his opponent attacked the clone, Ryugi had already gained enough energy for his lancing blast. Using the two attacks in combination should be enough to win the battle against his opponent. Ryugi readied himself incase his opponent was somehow able to fight after all of that damage...

With the blast Makenshi was thrown off yet again. He probably could have caught his ground if he wasnt so tired. He decided just to let it be since with no energy left he wouldnt be able to do anything anyways. With all things considered he had fun, despite what others around him might think of the match.

Makenshi hit the ground then curled up and prepared to have himself a nice sleep. IT was probably about time he have one anyways. Ryugi had won this one, which was good because now Makenshi had more to learn. It was better to learn from a lost fight then to learn from a won fight.

Makenshi had enough. If only he could have done things differently, but it was all right. It was more fun to finally lose then it was to win. Maybe they ended in a draw. Whatever it was, he was sleepy now. Someone would have to heal him and give him some energy for him to wake up again. If not he would just sleep for a week. He was done. Draw, Win or lose, he didnt care. He just wanted to sleep now.

He fell to the ground not knowing if the capture spell worked and he would sleep, dirt and all in his wounds and on his face. It was a good fight and he finally met his match. Maybe one day they would fight again outside the tournament.

Hopefully his teammates would help him somehow if not he would wake up in a week. The problem would be his vulnerability now. With his sleeping state he could easilly be hit with a blind move. Perhaps from his own captain.

62Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi let out a massive sigh of relief and let his arms hang to his sides. He then placed Ragnarok onto his back in its usual spot and picked up the fallen, sleeping, warrior. Once he got back to the area where his teammates were, he lay the man down to rest near him, and began the healing process.

Ryugi's light powers also had the holy aspect of healing if he so wished. The soothing energy might not give the man energy back, Ryugi wasn't sure, but it would heal his wounds and stop the bleeding. Ryugi had a kind heart, and didn't enjoy hurting others. However, this was a contest of skill, and sometimes one needed to do things they didn't agree with. He grinned and spoke as he healed the man.

Well, Mr. Hayashi, that was a very good match. You have great potential as a fighter. May your abilities carry you further into the realms of higher skill.

The healing complete, Ryugi walked back over to his teammates, and plopped down next to Silver. He closed his eyes and relaxed.

Cris, I guess you're up.

63Exordium of Terminus

(Waiting for my opponent..)

64Cristopher Reinhart

(Go ahead and post. Be forewarned though, I am at work. Means I may lag a bit and so on. By all means make the first post.)

65Exordium of Terminus

As the battle ended, Karasen opened his eyes for a moment and yawned. He had been taking a slight nap during the entire fight, and was just now waking up. "My turn to fight, I guess." He rose to his feet slowly, his movements rather sluggish. As he moved into the battle area, he seemed to be falling in and out of sleep. His eyes, though usually blue, had shifted to gold in the process. As he stretched for a second he looked across the area to Reinhart. "Hey... Can we get this over with? I need a nap."

66Cristopher Reinhart

The time had come, Ryugi had indeed won, and now it was his turn to put down someone from the opposing team. The moment Ryugi had spoken to him he stood from his resting spot and began walking to the center. Inbetween the teams more or less. He stretched a bit, cracked his neck and knuckles then gave his opponent a quick look over. Then the opponent spoke.

Irratating. The opponents voice and manner irratated Reinhart, he'd be able to display just how much in a matter of minutes. There he stood not 30 feet away from him, he felt no need for introductions, so his words were simple.

"Make your move...."

His voice neutral as always, his exposed eye devoid of emotion, and his face expressionless. The opponents first move would determine just how fast this match would end.

67Exordium of Terminus

"Right, right.." The seemingly exhausted man said as he straightened his posture up before reaching into his pouch with the adamantium gauntlet and pulling out a small half-inch long piece of material. As he held his hand out, the item resting gently upon his palm, a green energy seemed to engulf his hand.

Within seconds this energy had extended out to the left and right to reach a length of six feet. One end of this wooden staff sharpened off to a point, and the other held a clouded green sphere which was encircled by a stone dragon, a guardian of sorts. "This is the fabled Staff of Quakes. One of a set of six.. Good luck in this battle, I hope I am able to challenge you."

With that said, Karasen gripped the staff gently as the green energy from before began to spiral down the shaft of the staff, moving into the soft, lush grass which they stood upon. "Your move."

68Lady Sierra

*A small, black winged cat had been watching the match from the spectator stands with lazy intrest. It wasn't trying to conceal itself... but it wasn't drawing any attention to itself either. It was intent on watching the fighters in the forest... not on getting mauled by excited little kids, with sticky fingers and blow up swords.

Sakura purred as Ryugi won his match and adjusted how she was laying, letting the sun warm her other glossy flank. Her feral eyes narrow on Reinhart as he steps up to face the next opponent... her yellowed gaze ever observing.*

69Cristopher Reinhart

Reinhart held the same expression as before. Taking note of the things visible to him on his opponent and his first move would show how he'd exploit them. The "mighty" staff appeared, it displayed whatever power it held but failed to impress anyone. Save for his teammates maybe. Seemed he stood ready then gave Reinhart the first move.

Seeing his protected hands were totally visible it was easy to take note he wore gauntlets over them. This was also noted when he first appeared. Though Reinhart had no idea what the gauntlets were made of he assumed they were some sort of steel. Bringing his right hand out infront of him as if reaching to his opponent he kept his eyes fixed on his. The very things made to protect him were the same things that would cause his early demise.

Though his right eye was covered over by his hair and the bandage that wrapped slightly over his face it emitted a dark red glow. then in what little time it took him now to clench his fist the gauntlets on his opponent would be crushed. Crushing the hands they covered along with them. Mind you this took little to no time at all as it was stated it only took the time between his hand being open and then clenched.

Let's see what he'd do with crushed hands, ripped flesh, and shattered bone.

(Just in case I need to explain myself I'll do it now. The reason why your gauntlets were crushed along with your hands is due to Reinharts abilities with Magnetism. Plain and simple you're wearing it, he has power over it.)

70Exordium of Terminus

As the man reached out, Karasen could sense a familiar type of energy being expelled from the man's body. He could feel as if an outer force were reaching out to him, his gauntlets specifically. This problem was figured out at the instant that the Adamantium gauntlet began to tighten around his hands. Many had attempted such attacks on Karasen in his past, yet it was not just with gauntlets. Some times he would be wearing more metal upon his body, and sometimes less. His opponent was using magnetism to attempt to damage Karasen.

This process took the amount of time it can take for a thought to spark within the human brain. Reacting with Karasen's very thought process and his ability to manipulate all forms of energy to his will, the electrons within every single molecule which made up his Adamantium gauntlet would shift polarities, which would repel the force which was attempting to crush his hands. This reversed polarity would remain as a permanent shift to his gauntlet to repel such a deadly attack.

As this fix to his gauntlet was made, Karasen's grip upon the staff would tighten, the flow of energy into the soil becoming greater than before.

(Quite the idea. I hadn't planned for an opponent to use magnetism.)

71Cristopher Reinhart

Reinhart sighed. It looked like he'd have to drag the match out longer than he expected. This was more than annoying. Unfortunately for his opponent it just meant his hurting would be carried out longer than need be. It wasn't hard to notice what was going on around the man, his staff, and the soil around him. No matter, Reinhart was prepared for anything the opposition could muster. Not wanting to prolong the need for a real attack from sides he began walking towards the opponent.

It was casual, a casual walk. No dash, no sprint, nothing, just a normal walk, almost as if he were about to greet the man. They were just thirty feet apart so the gap began to close rather quickly. His black scarf swayed behind him and as far as anyone could see he had no visible weapons. No sword, staff, gauntlet, nothing. At this point though Reinhart was just curious as to what his opponent would do next. Would he unleash some sort of earth attack with the soil?

Would he attempt to beat him with his staff? Everyone would find out in just a second as it would seem. Reinhart didn't let up, his pace the same, his manner unchanged. Only difference was his eyes were fixed on his opponents.

(You're in for quite a few surprises. Don't let your guard down.)

72Exordium of Terminus

Karasen observed his opponent's movements with scope-like precision, his stance not shifting one single bit. That's right... Just a bit more and this battle field will be mine.. he thought to himself, his plan working perfectly. Karasen continued to keep his guard up as he approached, his eyes looking out for anything suspicious.

73Cristopher Reinhart

Was this guy trying to put him to sleep? All he did was stand there. Some encouragement seemed to be in order.

"You just gonna stand there holding your stick?"

There was still no audible emption in his voice as the gap almost closed between them.

(Short posts merit shorter ones. Let me see what you got.)

74Exordium of Terminus

"Yes, indeed." He was going to stand there with his "stick," only until he was ready to move. "Also, it is not a stick. It's a staff. Please be more respectful, it may come in handy in the future." Karasen's words meant more than they sounded like, much more..

75Lady Sierra

*The small feline lazed groggily as she observed the round from afar. The last round had been overly-active... but this one! It seemed as if the man with the staff's tactic was to bore his opponent to death and the audience too! ((Hey can he get flagged for that? Hazerdous boredom, may cause death to all parties spectating? o_O; )) At this rate... they would all die of old age.

The magnetic attack had perked Sakura's intrest. Being a creature of magic, she could see the unseen... thus making her immeasurably valuable as a familliar. It was information on that ability that would please her mistress. So it was that little tidbit of info she filed away in her cunning little brain. But since then... Nadda'.

The winged cat certainly hoped that this fighter was going to do something to make up for what was currently a waste of her time. She was supposed to be the eyes and ears of her mistress, who was currently engaged in her own fight... Surely she could glean much more valuable data from another team.

Oh well. She lounged... and waited... for something... ANYHING! Hell, even a cat needs to be entertained yo!*

76Cristopher Reinhart

Reinhart's left eye twitched slightly due to annoyance in its purest form. That'd done it; his opponent would receive little to no mercy for annoying him this much. The distance between them had come to about 10 feet as he'd been walking this entire time. Now that this stick wielding, gauntlet wearing bore of an opponent refused to make a move Reinhart would. Without warning he leapt into the air at just about the height of his opponent's face.

The sun over the skies caste many shadows through out the forest and under the fighters as it sat nearly overhead. It was still morning so the forest still held some freshness from the night just ended. At the climax of his jump and the point he reached the desired range he let lose a massive kick to his head. It was a boring start and a simple, dodge able move, not to mention easily countered but it was a START.

(I'm here all night so let's get through it if your schedule allows it.)

Silver's eye twitched. He hated slow moving battles. It had proven to be a weakness before, but he had since learned to coupe. The last move may have been quite average, but at least it was something. Though Cris had the right idea by staying back to learn what they could do, Silver was actually glad that he got things going.

"Stuborn little..."

It was then he saw something slightly more interesting. Could that possibly be... a winged cat? Silver had never seen a cat with wings, nor did he have any idea why the hell one would be around here. Instead of speaking and interupting the match, he gave it a wave.

*Sakura noticed movement out of the corner of her eyes and spared a glance in that direction. A man wearing the garb of a Ryugin team member was waving at her.

Rolling lazilly to her feet, she pads along the rail she had been curled up on, away from the spectators and to a more secluded area, but still in easy view/access of the battle in case Silver followed and was needed.

Besides... she needed to keep watch too. She was working, not here for chit-chat and pleasantries.

If the man decided to approach her she would speak to him through thought. He could speak out loud think things back at her... but her voice was one of silence and melodic meows.

Should he come over she would say: *

Well, things were off to a much slower pace than Ryugi would have anticipated. He watched the energy flow into the ground for a while before he lost most interest. It was then that he heard Silver mumble something under his breath. Ryugi huffed in responce, and added his say soon afterwords.

Stubborn, maybe. But this could just be a tactic to anger his opponent into making a mistake. And that energy going into the ground probably isn't a good sign. Something tells me that when he's ready, this fight will heat up...

Ryugi just lay back against the bamboo stalks, looking briefly over to the winged feline who seemed to be visiting ringside.

Her legs were looped around the bamboo stalk which had bent down just enough to allow her to bob in and out of the boy's view upside down bizarrely.

Page grinned maliciously. He could tell that whhen Karasen did fight Reinhart would be in a lot of trouble. He noticed a winged cat watching the fight. So..they had a specator. Page leaned further against a tree waiting for his teammate's match to go on.

"Should I...use the super-organism-armor in the first round?"

Page struggled with this thought. He didn't want to reveal the capabilities of the armor just yet. He threw his machete in the air and caught it by it's handle. He moved his hair out of his cold-gray eyes. He noticed that a newcomer had arrived. It must be their alternate.

His thoughts went back to the cat.it had a familair scent. Yes..it was the scent of that drunken lady who threw beer at him. Too bad Page didn't have a lighter and match would've made quite a spectacle.

He grinned wider as he thought about what he was going to do if his team won the first round against all the other teams.

( Since I cant use Makenshi at the moment I'll use my other Character. )

Karasu walked into the Bamboo forest far enough to which he would see familiar faces. As he got closer to the battle area he would see a large crater in the ground from an earlier fight, Makenshi asleep on the ground and Page making a stupid grin as usual. ( Uhh...remember my other characters....not nice? )

He was wearing a large baseball shirt with another red plaid shirt underneath that stretched down to his calves in a Tall-Tee fashion. Underneath that shirt he had a Black long sleeve shirt that said " Can I Live? " Although no one would ever see it unless they actually went in to look. He wore dark red shorts, Maroon perhaps, that went lower then his knee's and he had Red and White Sneakers that matched with his outfit.

He had long hair that came down on the sides, more so on his right eye. It wasnt like Makenshi's, but it had the fashion of it. It was more like The Pillows haircuts. Maybe even Gackt. Yes his hair was like Gackts. Color and all. Well at the moment a redish brownish orangish color. Today he had the look af a J-Rocker of L'Arc En Ciel.

He walked up to the team that looked like they were playing alongside Makenshi. Not that it mattered too much since the other team was standing not too far from them either. He walked up to one of Makenshi's teammates, which was most likely Page, then asked in a meloncholly tone.

As the powerful kick neared his head, Karasen flinched not a single bit. He had flooded the ground with energy controlled only by him, which gave him control over every inch of the battle field they stood upon. As the kick neared his head, Karasen was immediately sucked down into the soil, completely blocked from view by the ground.

As this happened, a powerful stone fist seemed to grow from the ground to fly towards the back of Cris. While the fist made its way towards Cris, Karasen rose from the soil in the exact position that Cris had started in, his stance not shifted a bit from its previous position.

86Cristopher Reinhart

This wouldn't do at all, his opponent was doing nothing but running, if he didn't get to doing something both teams would get docked for speed. It was no surprise that he'd dodged the kick, neither was that stone fist. Just as he sank into the soil Reinhart followed through with his kick adding more force behind it. The added force would let him spin quicker to his left and face the stone fist as well as the creator.

Since he was jumping forwad as well he'd created more distance between himself and the poor excuse of an attack launched at him. His feet hit the ground with the stone not more than five feet away. Once it closed the gap to about three feet Reinhart brought up his forearm to swat it. The stone shattered into pieces as he did so, for despite his look he was rather strong. Not to mention even more annoyed that his opponent seemed to want to play cat and mouse.

As the small pieces of stone flew towards the ground Reinhart broke into a dash lifting the dirt and dust from under his feet. The gap between them wasn't big so it would be closed very quickly. This time instead of taking to the air he remained grounded bringing his fist back to strike the man in the chest. God he hoped he actually did something this time.

(Since you didn't specify the distance of the stone fist I assumed where it would be. I'm at work again by the way so excuse the lag. And seriously let's get this fight started.)

As the opponent broke into a dash towards Karasen, he couldn't help but chuckle. Even as he began to attack, Karasen had been prepared. Simply waiting for the man to reach the right distance, Karasen began to set his plan in motion. Cat and Mouse was exactly what Karasen's current plan was, until he decided to take up some interest within this fight.

As soon as his opponent reached a short distance away, four feet or so, a massive dome of stone rose around Karasen's body. This dome, unlike other domes, was formed of solid stone all the way through, the core perfectly outlined to fit Karasen's current shape. Out from Karasen's body, the dome extended three feet. This left Cristopher one foot to travel before colliding with the stone.

Before this, Karasen had noted the dust being kicked up by Cristopher's speed, and knew that if he was travelling fast enough to kick up dust, his brakes would not work well enough to stop him from slamming into the stone.

(Think of it as a pill structure rising up through the ground.)

89Cristopher Reinhart

Reinhart's eyes narrowed, again his opponent went into defense, and it looked as if he didn't take notice that he'd SHATTERED stone. Although the distance was closed a bit his arm was already pulled back ready to strike. Unless that capsule of a shield formed instantly Reinhart would've seen it forming and would have more than enough time to react. Reinhart continued his attack as he planted his feet into the ground bringing him to a sort of skid slowing his speed.

Though it was solid stone it was still just solid stone, it was vunerable to break. The punch was launched just as he'd planned on doing but seeing the stone rising his reinforced his punch. He would emplloy one of his hand to hand fighting skills here. A swirl of energy and winds became visible before his fist and and then the impact!

A loud boom soon followed then a blast of wind that exploded in all directions. Leaves were cleared from around the fighters and the nearest of the bamboo was distrubed. The skill Reinhart employed was rather simple as it was a martial arts skill. Though his fist collided with the stone infront of him it seemed to only crack slightly. This was due to the fact that he'd concentrated the force of the punch itself on the back of the stone. It was visible as the impact occured if one was looking they'd notice the back of the stone had a crater two times the size of Reinhart's fist.

Unfortunately for the opponent he was and onbstruction between the front and back of his stone. Meaning that as Reinhart still aimed his punch where his chest would be and the bigger part of the impact would collide with his chest. While the smaller part of it would explode out the back of the stone. It'd feel as if he took the punch straight on the chest, through his back, and out his capsule. There was no defense in this like the man had thought. He was also incased so there was no way to know what exactly Reinhart did until it was too late.

If he tried to dig back into the soil he'd more than likely take the hit in the neck or face area. And since Reinhart had concentrated the major part of the force to hit his opponent it'd feel a good four times worse than the small crater on the back of the capsule.

(I hope you don't need a reference or explaination for that. It's rather simple and basic.)

90Exordium of Terminus

Reinhart was incorrect in thinking there was no way for Karasen to know of his attack, as the soil they stood on was all he needed to be able to see when his eyes were useless. His energy had been spread through the battle field, which produced a 3-D image of the area and the opponent in his mind.

Even as the fist collided with the capsule, the solid stone shattered around Karasen from the force. Karasen immediately sank into the ground and out of his opponent's sight. As this occured, an amount of seven seperate beings of soil, rock and grass rose up from the ground around them, each controlled by Karasen.

He would then rise from the ground with his staff still in hand, standing behind the six creatures of earth. "Come get me.." The creatures were each made of the earth and energy that flooded the area, so destroying them would be a thing of dreams as they would simply regrow or re-assemble if a part were torn off.

91Bubbles [v3]

Karasen already knew Reinhart was going to attack him, that's why he made the stone capsule. Now that the attack is launched, it's too late to change your mind and sink in the ground, too.

Unless Karasen clicked at the last minute and buried under, which would make him get the fist in the FACE, he'll have to take the hit. Please edit your post as such. ^_^;

92Exordium of Terminus

(Let's see... What you're telling me to do is basically let him kill me. He's saying I would take the main force of a punch that's basically enough to crush more than three feet of solid stone. If you take a hit like that in any part of the torso or face, you are basically dead. And I'd rather not have my character killed.)

93Cristopher Reinhart

(If you read carefully you'd see that I didn't even break through the length of your stone. I stated it clearly that the front was cracked and it exploded out the back creating a small crater as the impact escaped. If you were to take it you're taking the force alone and not my solid fist. Don't get me wrong it's still a hard blow but not enough to break your face or cave your chest in not to mention kill you.)

94Kraun

((Problem I see it would have to lie in the specs of Reinhart's attack.

If his attack is suppose to be sent through the rock, and out the other side, it shouldnt work, since its solid stone. Solidity is preventing the movement of force through the stone. If it was soil however, it would be possible, as the force of the attack would push the smalled pieces into each other and carry the force through it instead of dispersing over a solid surface.))

95Exordium of Terminus

(So what's to happen?)

96Cristopher Reinhart

(Indeed. Trick says one thing and Kraun another. As far as I know the attack shouldn't be useless seeing as there's space and air (I hope) between Karasen and the two sides of stone. Oh well I'll leave it to you guys.)

97Kraun

((Taking into account Trick's decision, which I agree because changing yout mind isnt allowed once you do something...

I say the amount of force produced in the attack wouldnt go through the stone but has to disperse against the immediate area in front and around and shatter the solid stone and maybe some flashy explosions.))

98Cristopher Reinhart

(If that's the case though Kraun wouldn't some of the stone be pushed onto his body? Not crushing of course but enough to do something.)

EDIT

99Kraun

((Shrapnel maybe, depending on the amount of space between his body and the rock's surface for shards of stone to travel.

(Alright so the official ruling is that the impact hit the surface spread out around the rock and Karasen still got out and made his clones. Correct? No damage done aside from the stone.

EDIT: Damn it! I took too long to respond and Gaia logged me out. To top it off I didn't copy the post. Ugh. Now I have to leave work so I won't post again for a couple of hours. Sorry.)

102Cristopher Reinhart

The stone shattered upon impact only to reveal an empty shell, his opponent had fled yet again. Reinhart saw him reappear in the short distance then noticed the seven clones. Only one thing came to mind as he saw this....

"Oh god, not more clones."

Was there anyone on that team that didn't have clones? Were they too going double and make twenty something odd opponents? How unoriginal, how cowardly, how annoying, and like his opponent. Did anyone fight their own fights anymore? This was ridiculous, all he'd done thus far was run and now he hid behind doubles of himself. What a poor excuse of an opponent Reinhart landed. It'd been long before that Reinhart noticed the dispersed energy throughout the ground and it was time to put a stop to it.

Since it was dispersed all over the ground it shouldn't be hard to soak up and convert into whatever energy Reinhart desired. After all, taking in energy was something he excelled at so was the opposite process. Since almost the start of the "fight" the opponent had drenched the ground with it. Of course it was his energy that covered the ground but it was energy none the less. Cris reached into his pocket to pulled a long strip of paper and let it drop to the ground.

A talisman to be exact, one of many he held in his possession. The moment it touched soil it began to glow and take effect, it started soaking up any energy that wasn't contained in a radius of 100 feet throughout the ground.

If the opponent wanted he could try to soak up whatever he could before it was all gone and into the talisman. Needless to say it would continue this process if it caught any more stray energy along its reach over and under the ground. This wasn't limited to just the opponents energy it would suck up Reinharts as well if it so flowed into the soil. With that quick task done he took off in a dash again at the clones and opponent hiding behind them. It would probably serve no purpose as he expected him to run along with his clones, again.

The flow of energy from Karasen's staff quickly halted once the ground was cleared of the energy he had expended, both by the talisman and the staff. He twirled the item between his fingers as it quickly miniaturized. He quickly placed the item within his pouch. Another item was brought out in his grasp as he sealed the pouch before snapping the fingers of his other hand, which cut the link between his clones and caused the energy within to expell outwards. As this energy expelled outwards, the seven beings exploded in a massive cloud of dust.

As the cloud spread, Karasen's eyes shifted to their golden gleam, which allowed him perfect sight through the cloud of dust. His opponent, though, would be blinded and most likely struck with a violent case of sneezing from the dust. Karasen then quickly dashed into the cloud towards his opponent, his fists tightened in the gauntlets and ready to fight him hand to hand.

As he approached his opponent, he would lift his right fist and send it towards the oncoming chest of his opponent, with enough force to simply crack the man's sternum.

106Cristopher Reinhart

None of this was very surprising as Reinhart had kept his eyes on his opponent the whole time. The stick shrinking, his putting it back, and then the snap of his fingers took time. But who could forget the clones? They exploded. I guess there was not much reason to complain since it reduced the number of nuisances in the fight. As far as anyone could see they served only the purpose of making the cloud of dust.

A cloud of dust, was that all? Was this real? Reinhart wasn't immune to dust or anything but since it was just DUST Reinhart quickly pulled his scarf up and over his nose and mouth. As visibility went it wasn't a problem since again it was just DUST. Adjusting his scarf he also brought out his left hand across his chest then waved it outwards. There was no visible energy as all he'd accomplished by this was to create a strong gust of wind to blow the dust back.

It blew up a bit of dust, not enough to form a cloud however but maybe enough to irritate the nose. This made the opponent clearly visible; the same could be said about his attack. A punch aimed at the chest, how ORIGINAL. Wasn't this the last attack Reinhart had made? No reason to complain, at least he was attacking. Both opponents had broken off into a dash towards each other, Reinhart had closed the gap first now the opponent did the same. Minding the time it took the man to shrink the staff, put it away, snap his fingers, explode the clones, and take off on his attack. Reinhart had more than enough time to see everything coming.

The opponent however may've assumed the dust would serve to hide his attack but he'd see now just how feeble that thought was. They were closed in and a short moment after Reinhart dealt with the cloud they were upon each other. Here came the punch. A basic attack but an attack none the less, Reinhart almost felt like thanking the man for making a move.

As the fist was brought up to strike him in the chest his left hand was brought back to guard. At the precise moment the fist was within range of Reinharts right hand he brought it up and across to meet it. Reinharts right hand would push the fist off course to his left. At the time the two made that small bit of contact Reinhart turned his body slightly left to bring his right side at his opponent. Doing this would result in the fist completely missing its target and put even less space between them.

As Reinharts hand veered the fist of course it was bent at the elbow putting it between him and the opponent. An elbow type lunge was the attack as Reinhart also brought his right foot down like a stomp to reinforce the blow. At the speed they were both going this would leave little to no time for the man to react. Since they were on a collision course to begin with the elbow would dig into the opponents chest. Enough to stop him dead in his tracks knocking him over or sending him flying back due to the force. Needless to say since it was a sort of collision this would hurt, and hurt bad.

The elbow was at least less than a foot away from the center of the opponents chest and unless the man braced for the impact there would be the chance for broken bone.

(I actually made it today but tomorrow may be another story since it is New Year's Eve. So please don't expect a response tomorrow for I may not have time to make one. If that's the case then I wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR.)

Page smiled and removed the armor he wore underneath his clothes. He felt lighter. He smiled watching Karasen's fight. How much time did they have left? He placed his machete on the floor and donned his spiked steel gauntlets. Reaching towards his left he picked up a black hat. (Similar's to Dr. Jackal's. ) He quietly placed it on his head, lowering it to cover one eye.

He lifted himself from the ground and began circling the fighters. His smile had diappeared. He had a serious look on his face. he wanted to fighter and frankly Karasen was taking too long.

Page wanted to fight Silver. He wanted to see what the guy was capable of. He continued circling the fighters keeping his distance. His gray eyes feel on Reinhart, then on Karasen. Then it feel on Tommorrow, Karasu and finally the cat.

108Exordium of Terminus

Karasen could only grin as he felt a sort of contact with his opponent's body. Immediately as the contact was felt, the gauntlet he had used to attack became engulfed in a large flame. There would be no way to avoid damage from this attack as his fist was already contacting some point of the man's body. This flame, even if touching for only a short time, was blue, the color of a pulsar and the hottest type of flame. Even with a short time of contact with this flaming gauntlet, Reinhart's hand would be left as a smoldering mass of charred and useless flesh.

A foot's distance was more than enough time for the miniaturized staff which Karasen held hidden in his right hand to extend down into the soil just below him at a slightly slanted angle. As this happened, Karasen kicked off of the ground, the one hand he gripped it by more than enough for Karasen to balance upon as he attempted to flip over his opponent.

This staff glowed with a molten heat which could even be felt by Reinhart in his close proximity. Karasen had not been able to avoid the elbow, as it slammed into hi gut, which sent him sliding five feet across the ground with the staff still in hand. The gauntlet, though, had stayed in contact with the man's body more than long enough to char the man's flesh to a blackened ash color.

He quickly stood back to his feet, a very pissed off glare being directed at his opponent through the cloud. The dust, of course, was no problem for Karasen. His opponent must have been too foolish enough to figure out that if Karasen is going to dash headstrong into a cloud of dust, a little gust was nothing.

Aside from that his physics are off. I'm aiming an elbow for his chest and he's trying to flip over me. On his post he's saying my elbow grazed his head, I don't see how that's possible. The impact point is the chest! He's jumping over me, would't that make the new point of impact his stomach or something? Aside from that we're both dashing at each other my elbow should be less than a foot from hitting him.

How fast does he have to be to make his "hidden" staff extend, kick off the ground, and flip over me? To do it all as we're coming in on each other and with less than a foot of space would have to mean he's lightning fast.

Well that depends how much spring power he's got in his ankles to flip. Because from what that describes, if he isnt jumping and flipping at the same time, which would hit him in the gut or something, he'd be doing some retarded front flip early where his head would be rolling over your elbow or something.

But thats not the case since thres contact and he's polevaulting or something. So, naturally...

(I said I hate to b***h but I also want to keep the fight within the boudries of logic. And stop bitching as well Kraun you're a judge damn it, taking complaints and arguments is what you're here for. Well, among other things. Yeesh.)

(Editted, now hurry up and post.)

112Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi watched the hit take place and nodded. Cris was picking up things in the fight. With luck, there might actually be a battle going on in a few more moves.

Keep it up Cris, you can beat him...

113Cristopher Reinhart

There was little to no contact from Reinhart to Karasen, as his right hand was only used to veer the fist of course. It was then bent at the elbow completely removing it from any long term contact. Though he felt the heat swell and temperature rise Karasen had made a big mistake. For much like Makenshi, Reinharts biggest affinity to any element was FIRE. The quick, short burst of heat he'd gotten from the touch did little to his flesh as it only burned some of his glove off.

Seeing as the attempt to jump over the attack had failed and Karasen now took the chest bound elbow to his gut Reinhart quickly gave chase. The moment the hit made contact and began to send Karasen back Reinhart stepped forward with his left foot quickly. Thus closing the gap between yet again and following up on his first attack. Hitting someone in the abdomen area made them fold slightly due to the force of impact. In such a way that their head and upper body was leaned forward. This was where Reinhart was aiming his attack.

Weather or not he'd been folded from the elbow he now faced an on coming right hook to his ribs. Again this was done with the right as the left stayed to guard any counters. As the punch was delivered Reinhart stepped forward with his right foot this time closing the gap undoubtedly. Just as when he did the first hit he also turned his body to the left giving Karasen his right.

(Glad to see you're finally in a hurry.)

Meryl had crouched down, her cloak pulled over her shoulders to show her coiled like a spring. She balanced her body on her toes gently, her elbows placed on her knees as her gloved hands supported her chin. She'd been here only for a few minutes, but it was clear this might take some time.

She sighed. Silver ignored her. That was rude unto itself, but it also meant that she had no idea who to root for. And rooting for the wrong team wouldn't go well with her own team.

She watched the man circle them and stuck her tounge out at him, blowing a raspberry at him. "Go circle someone who cares, Michael Jackson. Intimidation doesnt work in the big-boy's world." She muttered sullenly, sighing again.

123Exordium of Terminus

As Karasen rose, he could see the man coming at him with a right hook to his ribs. The strange thing about this punch was that a right hook was usually sent to the person's face, and usually followed other punches, not directly sent. Oh well, maybe the man was simply a novice boxer or something, Karasen cared not.

The man was simply dash towards him and trying to punch him, not very much danger in such an attack. With a simple step to his right to move from the man's range of attack with the right hook, but simply stepping was not Karasen's only action. As he stepped out of the way, Karasen performed a quick leg three hundred and sixty degree leg sweep, which would easily trip the man up because of his simple mad dash towards Karasen. Also, if the man would attempt to modify the right hook, it would be near impossible to make the shift with such a short distance.

124Cristopher Reinhart

Karasen had side stepped his follwo up punch and now delivered a sweep to take out his legs. Nothing dangerous but then again one could never assume things in these fights. Reinhart took the sweep and as he hit the ground back first he threw his legs over and pushed off with his hands. Rolling backwards and setting some distance between both himself and the opponent.

He remained crouched for a split second waiting for anything else his opponent might try. So far they'd both taken A hit just the one, either they were equally matched or it was just damned hard to land any hits in hand to hand. No matter, he was swept with little consequence and now he was crouched and away from Karasen. What would the opponent do next?

EDIT

125Exordium of Terminus

(Your post makes no sense, Cris. Karasen was performing the sweep in the process of your punch. How are you expecting to be able to shift your entire body into a kick when Karasen stepped to his right, not yours. Just try and perform an action like what you're doing in real life. A right hook to someone's mid section immediately followed by a kick. You won't be able to do it very easily. It's like trying to kick a wall from eight inches away.)

126Cristopher Reinhart

(It's simple, you stepped to your right putting you in closer proximity of my left if we were facing each other. The way my attack goes isn't impossible or by any means hard to perform. It's like doing a three hit combo on a punching bag. Jab, cross/straight, kick. Right, left, left. Your right foot is forward with your right fist keeping your lefts back so that you're somewhat sideways. When you throw the jab you're still sideways, when you switch to left your upper body turns right.

When you kick you're totally facing forward and no longer sideways with both fist forward and both feet. The shift in weight is minimal at best as you use your right to ground you and twist it slighty. This way when and you if you follow through on the kick you'll end up backwards as to when you first began. Basically placing your lefts in front and rights in back sideways again but having your left side forward.

So going into this attack after a right punch only consists of Reinhart twisting his right foot to the right bringing his left leg up to kick. Conserding time, the range between us, and our movements your attack would take more time than mine. You have three actions side step, duck, sweep, all I have is miss, then kick. Needless to say that you stepped closer to my left now as my body goes from righ/sideways to facing forward. If anything we could both be hit or you can call a judge because I don't see what's so hard to understand about my post.

Call in Kraun or better yet call Bubbles, Kraun's bitching about his job enough as it is.

EDIT: I don't know how it happened but I re-posted my last post. Here's what I want to say.)

127Exordium of Terminus

(Kraun has already stated that your kick would be as useless as trying to kick a wall at about eight feet away, and in the first place, there's no way your kick would be done faster than my sweep, because my sweep occured BEFORE your kick was done. And I know kicks can be quick, but you're kicking to the side, not straight. Hell, you're kicking to your LEFT with your RIGHT. That alone causes more time. I know there isn't a rule when it comes to interupting only a couple of times in a fight. But hell, you've interupted almost every one of my actions with your own actions to try and make this fight go the way you want it to. And even if Bubbles is called in, Kraun will have to also be called in because I believe he is the head judge if not higher up than Bubbles.)

Timespan? Miss, legweep, kick.

Not to mention theres no follow through with the right hook missing, which would overextend since its not connecting with anything, and I doubt that punch was being pulled at all since its suppose to link into a combo plus the added foreward momentum of the run, and then the body's got to twist back around for a kick... or at least a kick with power.

Now stop sending PM's and IM, if you have a problem, post it in the OOC thread or the Q&A thread.))

Ryugi saw the sweep hit his friend. Maybe he was wrong about this actually turning into a fight instead of a blockfest. All this time and only three actual hits had taken place. Two by his friend and teammate Cris, and one by the opponent. It really was somewhat boring, however, Ryugi shouted words of encouragement to his friend.

Come on Cris, kick his butt!

130Exordium of Terminus

Karasen could only look down upon Cristopher as he rose to his feet, the Staff of Immolation shrinking back to its miniature size before it was placed back within his pouch. Held within his right gauntlet as he removed it from his pouch were two miniature staves. He held his adamantium gauntlet up and placed the two staves within the three inch opening, the metal quickly growing over the opening as the gauntlet seemed to glow with a greenish sheen.

The two staves were the Staff of Quakes and the Staff of Glaciers. The gauntlet's fingers extended out into razor sharp claws and two small, yet razor sharp spikes grew from each knuckle. The effect of these two staves combined showed the visual effect of sharpening, and the hidden effect of the gauntlet being coated in a highly corrosive acid. more than corrosive enough to leave life-long scars with little contact, and definitely enough to rot through limbs with prolonged contact, at least three or four seconds. This effect is accellerated greatly if the skin is cut even one bit by these claws, as the acid immediately enters the blood. Also, with one simple thought in his mind, the claws of the gauntlet would also secrete such an acid.

Although he had combined two staves, he still retained control over each staff's basic abilities, also. A look of pure disgust could only cross Karasen's face as he stared down into his opponent's eyes. He could only clench both fists as bolts of his own raw energy could be seen shooting up from around his body, his eyes widened to match the look of disgust. Karasen then brought his hand up, swiping down towards Cris. His intent was not to use his claws, but to use the projectiles which seemed to fire out from the upper palm. These projectiles were seven spikes of frozen acid, each six inches in length and one inch thick at the thickest point. One spike was sent toward both arms and kneecaps, one at each upper leg, and the seventh at his groin, simply because Karasen did not like the man.

131Cristopher Reinhart

Reinhart held the same expression as he did when he started the fight although it was only his eyes that were visible now. He pulled it down now looking up at Karasen watching do whatever it was he was doing. Staves, gauntlet, blah blah blah, the expression didn't change only because Reinhart still wasnt impressed. Then his projectiles they had some distance and Karasen sure did take his time to launch his attack. Enough for anyone to plan a counter attack or method of dodging but instead Reinhart would show him a bit of what he could do.

Seeing as the spikes were made of ice they were easily able to break or be broken. As they made there way towards their destination Reinhart did as he did before with the dust. A strong gust of wind blew out as he brought both arms up launching it towards the spikes. The wind was strong enough to kick up dust, rocks, and branches. The spikes would be totally blown off course and open a clear path between the two fighters. If they weren't blown off then they would meet the resistance from the force of wind and drop to the floor. Almost as if they rebounded off a wall or something of the like.

Reinhart kicked off the ground and went at Karasen again hopefully he had more tricks up his sleeve with that gauntlet of his. It was time to end the match Reinhart was bored and thought he may step it up a notch this time.

132Exordium of Terminus

Karasen observed closely as the spikes fell to the ground, the specific area of grass where they landed dying within seconds of contact. As the man came towards him, Karasen could only leap into the air above the man at a slight angle, flipping in such a way that his feet faced the sky. In the process of this flip, Karasen had passed directly over his opponent.

From the second he leapt from the ground, his gauntlet had begun to drip with acid, and would do so during the entire flip to rain a dangerous acid down upon Cristopher's head. Karasen would land behind the man, and quickly swipe his claws through the air once again to send seven more spikes towards Cristopher's retreating form at a speed of a foot and a half per second. These spikes were each the same size as the previous spikes. Two were launched at the man's calves, two at his hamstrings, two at his elbows and one at the middle section of his back.

The one aimed at the man's middle-back was the most dangerous, as it could easily sever his spine and cause major paralysis through the entire body. He may have been able to notice the rain of acid, but there would be no way to know of the oncoming spikes without turning around. And if he were to turn around, then the spikes would most likely catch him by surprise and penetrate him anyways. The attack was intended to completely incapacitate the man.

133Cristopher Reinhart

Karasen Kanaraku Wrote:

As he did so Reinhart gave chase and leapt as well pushing off the ground hard with his foot. So hard he imprinted the ground he stepped off of and increased his speed to collide with Karasen. His arms were extended outwards reaching for the opponent and as it was Karasen flipped he'd have little visibility of what was going on. It was a sort of tackle Reinhart was trying to perform and it would most likely have great effect.

Reinharts shoulder would collide with whatever part of Karasens body faced him at that precise moment. The original target was his torso of course as it was the biggest and easiest target. In the moment they would collide and Karasen was in reach Reinhart would wrap his arms around him. Once the opponent was hit he'd go in the opposite direction more than likely since Reinhart stepped off with much more force. Once his hands clasped around Karasen Reinhart would instantly send a powerful surge of electricity.

This was Reinharts attack, he had big contact with Karasen and even as they fell from the air he would send that electrical surge. Nothing weak either, enough to make any living thing convulse, fall unconscious, and probably even smoke. Now where did this energy come from so suddenly? The forgotten talisman that still lay on the ground was the source. It had sucked up the stray energy and unknown to everyone it transferred it to Reinhart.

How did it work? Under his shirt Reinhart wore bracers one contained the very same symbol the grounded talisman had. It converted the stray energy to fit Reinhart and now power his attack. To go over it simply, Karasen jumped and began his flip; Reinhart followed up, and entered a tackle. Upon collision he'd secure Karasen and give him a strong electrical charge, not just a burst of it either. It would begin in mid air, till they hit the floor, and would remain thereafter. Karasen would feel the electricity from every part of his body that touched Reinhart. Not to mention that when they landed, Reinhart would probably end up atop his opponent.

This was good as it would give Karasen limited ways to counter, not that he could do much anyway because his muscles would spasm right about now. Reinhart would only let up till Karasen knocked out or forfeit the match; it was more likely he'd be knocked unconscious from the volts and amps anyway.

(You're going to want a ruling on that for sure I know.)

134Exordium of Terminus

This was where the man had made the solid mistake, getting close to Karasen. He allowed the man to collide in mid air with him, which would have the impact cause Karasen's arms to extend out in front of his body. This extension would be what kept his arms from being confined when the man wrapped his arms around Karasen.

Immediately upon the strange hug, Karasen could send the build up of energy from the man's body and how he was trying to send it into Karasen's body. He had barelly used his vibranium gauntlet, and this was where it would come into play. The second the electricity attempted to enter his body, it was pulled on a path up his flesh, trailing down his arm and into his gauntlet's energy absorbing core. This could be noted having happened by the trail of very small hairs standing on end.

Because of the immediateness of this attack, the absorption lasted barelly a fourth of a second. If the opponent was indeed hugging Karasen in such a way, his right hand would be out of the opponent's line of sight and behind him. Almost immediately Karasen was able to regain control of his arms, and at that point he would simply bring his adamantium gauntlet down towards the middle of Reinhart's back with great force and speed. Due to how close they were, the quickness of the attack, and the fact that Reinhart was hugging Karasen, their would be no chance for Reinhart to pull any type of evasion. And again, like before, this attack was only to incapacitate heavily.

(You interrupt way too much.... But this one was to an advantage. Thankumz.)

135SaiDain

Page' body began to undergo a change. His chest grew larger as well as his nostils. He gained more muscles in his leg area which was now built like those of a cat. He stood watching the fight. He had chosen to turn into this form because he was bored.

136SaiDain

{Striker..baby!}

As Karasen brought his hand down onto the middle of Reinhart's back Page would be near the spot they were fighting in a matter of seconds. In this form he could run 90 miles per hour.

He bent towards the ground as he was a few inches away from the two. His palm gently touched the ground. Page shot his right leg forward into Reinhart's ribs. He aimed it so on contact it would break at least three ribs.

If the move worked he would then bend clser to the ground using his hands as a means to springboard him he would do his finishing move. He would straightened his right leg out and make it hit Reinhart's funnybone.

Page would then let his leg drop to the ground and he bring himself up and run away from the battle. He would stand at 6 feet seeing the damage he did. Page did this in a matter of 15 seconds..a little over the time limit for a striker..

Well, the last of the judging is done, and the scores are in and averaged out. Obviously there is going to be a lot of bitching, but its only expected when testosterone is flaring up in unbelievable levels.

Points are awarded in 4 categories, each part is worth 5 points. On a rating scale of 1-5 for each category.

  1. Did they break any rules?
  1. How long did it take them to post?
  1. Were they creative?
  1. Could you tell what they were doing? Also being were they able to describe their moves clearly?

So winning is not about beating the living crap out of someone, but rather RPing as a whole. Though of course, winning a round does provide bonus points, and contrary to that, arguements result in deduction of points.
