BASS'KEN LAKE

In the heart of winter, the lake partially freezes, creating large floating platforms of ice where fighters square off overtop of the freezing cold waters.

Terrain

General - Reduced balance and grip due to floating platform of ice, near freezing water may numb the body

Weapons - None

Natural Element Resource - Ice, Water

Bonus Effects - Cold based abilities 150% effective, Fire based attacks 50% effective, Water based abilities require only 50% effort

2[Na no da]

"I can't believe I'm driving this....thing."

The loud pounding rap music echoed through Bass'ken lake's area, a semi-truck hooked with a trailer was slowly rolling up on the grass outside of the lake, on the trailer, big red bold letters were painted onto it's side. Team 'Black in Action'.

Once the vehicle came to a halt, a door would swing open on the drivers side, a slender foot , and soon a female body would be standing next to the truck, t'was Ray who drove the large thing.

Inside Reiko would be on the passengers side.

And ontop of the vehicle, would be Dash, why? Ray didn't know, but thats how it was, they'd finally arrived. Team "Black in Action."

3One Fly Red Mage

Reiko sat there with his arms folded and his face burried into his hoodie. He was shivering heavily. When Ray opened the door on the driver's side he started whining.

"CLOSE THE DOOR!"

Reiko liked a lot of things. But he also hated a lot of things. Cold weather was one of them. If he had his way, everywhere would be a temperate paradise. Never too cold, never too hot, but always nice.

Which would be just right. Goodnight.

4Supreme Jerk Commander

Yes, clamped to the top of the Semi's trailer would be Dash. He lay flat on his stomach with his hands clasp tightly over the small "grips" he had added up there. His eyes were covered with flight goggles and his mouth by a scarf. A scarf flowed behind him like a crimson banner in the wind as the vehicle pressed on into the cold.

HOOOOOYEAH!

THen the vehicle came to a stop. Dash's ride was over.

The man stood to his feet and leapt from his vantage point with a forward somersault. The snow sank beneath his boots once he landed firmly onto the ground.

"That was awesome!"

5[Na no da]

"If you'd worn something more suitable to the climate, you wouldn't have to worry about freezing Reiko."

Ray said with a smile before closeing the door to the truck with her foot, her eyes catching a glimpse of her other teammate Dash, jump from atop the trailer, and onto his feet. He got his kicks in very odd ways.

Shrugging, Ray's hands would sink into her jackets pockets, she'd worn a skirt, and a sweater that was very thin, but Ray was used to cold climates having grown up in most of the coldest places in Gaia.

Smiling, she'd hope from foot to foot, her eyes gleaming like a child's in a toy store.

She was excited, and it showed.

6Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash, unlike Reiko, had come dressed for the inclimate weather. As he stood now, he wore a heavy woolen parka colored in an arctic camoflague pattern consisting of varying shades of grays and some white splotches. However, his pants, boots, and gaunthlets that peeked from beneath his coat bore tell tell signs that he didn't plan on wearing it for long.

They were colored with deep shades of red and didn't match the coat at all. And Dash ALWAYS matches, unless there's a good reason.

"Wooo, man! I hope you guys are as pumped up as I am!"

7[Na no da]

Ray looked over toward Dash, a hand on her hip. She'd grin slightly streching upwards.

"Any more excited and you might just start saluteing..although..I highly doubt that in this type of weather."

Shaking her head, she'd look toward the Semi-Truck, wandering if there were any girls locked up in there ,for their victory later on. Shrugging it off, she'd lean against the trailer, silently waiting.

8Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash chuckles at the joke then looks out towards the lake that would be their battleground.

"What a fine stage for our performance."

Dash grins then turns to head towards the rear of the semi's trailer. He had some things back there he needed to acquire, and he figured he'd get started now before his opponates showed up.

That is, assuming they do show up.

He promptly unlatches the rear hatch and swings the doors open before hopping up inside.

9One Fly Red Mage

Reiko turned up the heat as high as it could go and sighed.

"Stupidest time of the year."

He tapped on the window and started yelling for Ray.

"Ray! Can't you come in here and help warm me up? I promise not to touch!"

10Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash rummages in the back of the truck, emiting a serious of metalic clangs and bangs, as well as some swears.

Thirty-two clangs, seven bangs and ten curses later, Dash leaps from the back of the trailer with a huge 20" speaker over his shoulder. He lets it to the ground with a thud and sighs.

"Couldn't we have hired someone to do this for us!?"

He doesn't await a reply, as he leaps back in to unload the rest of the sound equipment.

11[Na no da]

Hearing Reiko calling for her, Ray turned on her heel, looking toward the truck, blinking, she'd open the door, and hop in, hearing his request for her to warm him, she grinned, inching closer to him until she was about a hands reach away.

"Would you like it if I warmed you with my body heat in the back?"

She asked with a tilt of her head, until her serious look broke into a fit of laughter. Shaking her head, she'd drop a parka on him along with a scarf mittens and a thermo coat.

"If you don't come out and get used to it, your going to cramp your joints."

Ray said, closing the door behind her, she was hyped, but she'd wait patiently.

12One Fly Red Mage

Reiko took the key out of the ignition and slowly slid out of the truck hugging himself tightly.

"You know .. you shouldn't play games with someone's heart."

He walked around the front of the truck and then sized Ray up with his eyes before throwing himself at her to cling against her,

"It's too cold!"

13[Na no da]

"Heh."

Ray grinned at his first comment, watching him turn off the truck, and slide out of the truck. Turning around, she'd face the lake, listening to his steps. She hadn't realized his grab for her, until she nearly toppeled over from his cling, blinking she turned and stared at him blankly.

"Your lucky I sympathize."

Ray said, while turning to face him, her head pressed aganist his chest ,before she'd push backwards, leaning further back down and out of Reiko's grasp, letting one hand free, she'd use her hand to push herself back up onto her own two feet.

14One Fly Red Mage

Reiko's response: "=("

15Bubbles [v3]

On the other side of Bass'ken lake ...

Some guy came out of a small chalet-like house that seemed to be falling apart in pieces. He then yelled: "CUT THE NOISE AND GET OFF MY LAWN, PUNKS!" and went back inside.

What? Unsane did live on the side of Bass'ken lake. Didn't you know?

16[Na no da]

Ray yawned streching upwards, her eyes closing for a moment, she'd sit on the grass, streching out her legs, reaching with both hands to either feet, she'd strech until she found that she was comfertable with her body and bones.

Sighing she'd shake her head slowly, cracking all the joints in her body. they'd been waiting for some time now, and Ray was growing bored, one could tell after she'd start making snow angels in the snow.

17Mekryd

Trees rustled gently as Mekryd emerged from the forest, looking hardly out of breath for someone who'd just sprinted from branch to branch to get here. He scanned the area with his eyes, letting them run over his surroundings, taking them in. At first, the plan in his mind was to wait until he could come up with his team to the battlefield. But they didn't seem to be altogether... together, and the match was going to start. It seemed rather pointless for an alternate to come first, but eh.

"Well, it seems like it will be a bit before the match starts..."

18Imagination Unleashed

Coordinates locked the Celestial took note of the information that was being eletronically decoded by the thing which he wore on his arm, some sort of match or something was to take place in, on, or about a lake of some sort. Whatever it was there would be nothing more than footsteps crunching in snow as he moved from the Leviathan to the Lake of Bass'Ken.

Though he knew not the name of this area he cared not for it held no real importance to him due to the overbearing fact that he was there to harm someone and get them to stay down. It was going to be somewhat difficult... perhaps. However chances were that it wasn't going to be all that hard to fight in this tournament, the opponents were but Lessers anyway and thus would probably have little effect on the being.

Black body appearing over the hill out from behind some shack which seemed to contain the energy signature of a Lesser, perhaps a fisherman's shack or something of that order, he shined and stood out among the snow in the darker but still present light from the sun. Clothing was but some sort of one piece suit, black, or perhaps he was naked and simply held no genetalia or any other 'hanging' parts due to them being utterly useless.

With a face that was without a doubt smoot as stone and no 'eyes' how he senses things was unknown; perhaps it was through the grid that he saw; it was obvious however that this was a combat mode since it removed all of the flesh and other weaker parts of his body in order to offer a higher challenge and prepare to excecute the enemies.

The being was sentient, however there were not 'systems' within seeing as he was an 'anomaly' organs and the like were useless; just bones and perhaps thin pointless viens which did nothing more than act as connectors for whatever uses he had in mind for them. Either way, this was the one, the Celestial who was acutually staging as Drake LeFroy.

Prepared to clash and looking about, scanning really, he sees a being and registers him as 'friend'. Mekryd Key. Still there was no reason to bother such a being as even though they were on the same team it might be a little unnerving to see a man with no face who had pretty much turned off a majority of his nerves. The temperature was something he could sense, it registered, however it would not hinder preformance.

Once could say he was an excellent machine, and finally his footsteps stopped at the edge of the frozen lake; there this one would wait for the enemy, and there would be the first to fall in this little tournament. That was the plan; two moves. One to bow, the other to win.

Eminating the brainwave equivalent of 'fear'; the people who would come around him would lose their contitution and faith if all went well; it wasn't really an attack, more like a preperation. The waves would either overpower and cause 'shock' which would freeze the opponent and make them simply not act, or it would at least cause dissonance with psionics users which would mess up and possibly completely negate the actual ability to cast spells or do anything that required mental concentration.

If anything, ensuring that you were not taken by surprise was everything, however the thing was sensing everything from all sides and recombining the data much quicker than a human could into bits and pieces of the surroundings. Finally it decided to get rid of the gender altogether mentally; it was not a 'he', it was simply an anomaly.

Clenching the right a movement of the air by contorting the waves which causes sound to be made was clarified and then rearranged into a pitch which was rather alto sounding and trasncribed the thought of the being into the physical world.

"It is time." That was it, and the left clenched as there was an increase in something, and then both released and the 'fear waves' dwindled away; it was finished with its territorial scan and now could take on and actually see the entire lake through the grid within its mind. Or whatever you called a mind for a thing with no brain; amazing anomaly it was, for it was far more intelligent.

Perhaps it was because it was made from the grid itself that it knew of these things and was aable to fight without such useless organs. Or perhaps it was the fact that he was without a doubt a Celestial. Then again, being a Prince of Probability and holding the title of the Second Throne of the Higher Celestials.

Taking note of Mekryd one more time, there was a nod in his general direction as it swiveled his head and then returned back towards the lake overlooking it. There was nothing more from the being, no movement, because there was no need quite yet. There was only one last truth which stood obvious.

It was time to rock.

19Imagination Unleashed

It was obvious that there would be no fight for the time being and thus the absolute coordinates of the place would allow him to use remote viewing. It was a pathetic psionic skill, however with the ability to see other things and study other people's fights he would plan ahead for others. Splitting his mind, or, actually just recreating himself in various positions after focusing on the grid, he could leave a 'camera' of sorts there by setting up a sort of 'individual miniature mind' there. It would only relay the fights and actions back to him but could do nothing else.

In truth, they were the strings, but, complications were not neccessary at this time. Whim and wonder would be mixed as the grid became apparent and he chose his coordinates to set up his little viewers. It was simple, the bar, which he had seen and could sense high amounts of activities, especially that of brain waves and other 'psionic' energies. Then another place, unbeknowest to him truly, but the energy spikes were still high there.

An anomaly sensing anomalies, who would have thought?

However, since it was using multiple minds, it would be able to monitor the area but only at a quarter strength. Still, recalling or releasing was instantaneous; ones his opponent showed disconnection and preperation would be complete in a second and no more.

20[Na no da]

Ray sat up from the snow, grinning from ear to ear, blinking she spotted two beings, tilting her head for a short moment she wondered who it was, but then she looked to her FIGHTER and smiled, clapping her hands happily.

Plopping onto the floor, she'd look back at Reiko pointing twoard the two.

"Their here! It's about time!"

Flinging herself onto her feet, she'd race over to her teamate.

"C''mon, lets go greet them, their here!" She bounced up and down happily as a child would eagerly awaiting it's gift.

21One Fly Red Mage

Reiko squntinted his brown eyes

The snow fell on his black hoodie which covered his black hair.

It also fell on the arms of his black hoodie which covered his brown skin.

The belt on his pants was black too.

His eyelashes... were probably black as well...

Pubes? Black..

His p***s was probably about as long as an american dollar and as wide as a italian sausage. A darker brown than his skin as though he received head from the sun.

His shoe size...

Oh I'm sorry. All these irrelevant details must be boring you. How about we get to the point.

Reiko squinted hard but couldn't see anything, he decided to trust Ray's words as he trudged through the snow after her.

"Are there three of them so we can get this overwith?"

22Imagination Unleashed

"Another entity! Abort RLV."

The thought and action were simaltaneous. Back at 100% functioning he took this few moments to consider possible threats as the being was within his gridlike view. There was no name attached and so it was an unknown; female due to breasts and other genetalia. It appeared to not have anything protruding from its back, however, power levels were moderate and brain waves not intense.

She was dismissed as a spectator and not a threat at all.

23Imagination Unleashed

Another being sensed registered as not a threat indefinitely. More like... a plushie. Some male who was proud of his small genetalia.

24[Na no da]

"Nope only two...aww, I guess we'll have to wait for our victory then huh?"

The said turning toward Reiko once again, who seemed to be dieing of the cold, sighing, she'd try getting a little closer to identify the two face, would they be known or unknown?

Ray took another step forward and vanished quickly, the snow covering her quickly. One would think Ray had done some spell or ninja move, but in reality, her small body had been sucked in by the large mound of snow beneath her.

Once she dug herself out, she'd shake the snow from her and continue on walking toward the two.

25Imagination Unleashed

"Approach? Are these Lessers my opponents? Shame." The thought was unnerving; there were supposed to be fighters worth battling, challenges, not these kids. He had seen one of them, whatever her name was, back at some Dojo long ago. This was a joke...

Still, he would actually stay alert, however scanning for higher beings was stil taking place; preferably someone who was tough enough to acutally reach past 'civilian' on the scale...

26One Fly Red Mage

"Haa, this is annoying."

Reiko hopped lightly up and down, looking back at Dash who was still setting up his equipment for theme music.

"Whatever"

He began taking leaping steps through the snow, stopping at a halfway point between where they originally showed up, and the opposing team did. Which, for whatever reason, happened to be in the middle of the frozen lake.

"woops."

He says as he slips in an arc and lands hard, cracking the ice slightly as though it was a gag out of tom and jerry.

27Imagination Unleashed

"It was supposed to be just a shirne. A shrine and nothing more. Now I have to... Oh, Ocean why have you put me in this position? Why do you bother with them?"

How amazing, another boring opponent who did stupid things. Why he didn't just attack him now, them now, was unknown. Perhaps due to orders, after all, wiping them off the face of their planet wasn't allowed this time around. Nor was killing them, sending them to another dimension, or just erasing them altogether. He prayed for some sort of intimidating opponents and thought back to Kiddick and the bar.

Kiddick, Kakk, Doji, The Girl, and of course Noire who he had agains seen at some dojo. So far those were the only ones seen through the viewing and one of them seemed extremely dangerous. Boring was the definition of the current situation.

28One Fly Red Mage

"Oh this is perfect for break dancing."

Reiko stood up and then dropped into a spin on his lower back.

"Wheeee, there's no third member. No fight. Disqualification. A win for team Black in Action."

29Imagination Unleashed

He mentally took note of that, however, there was still time... Even though he did suspect they would win by default, which was lucky for them seeing as it was the only way they would win. Shrugging he took into view the being on the ice and then returned to scanning for a team member... He could Vanguard. He might. It might be his only option...

30Mekryd

Mekryd pushed his bangs away from his forehead so he could rub his temples. Various vials hanging about his belt occasionally hit together as he moved towards the people. Though his arm and lowered face hid his mouth, his words were clear enough. "No, that would not work out like that. We simply cannot have a valid match until we have a third," he said. "There is no win, and no disqualification. There is not match until a third comes."

31Imagination Unleashed

Lookng back he sees Mekryd and nods again, however they were still short a fighter, not that the opponents were any better. There were only two currently acting in a curious manner; three were needed, three fighters, not a D.J. and two fighters. Still, there was that twinge in which he hoped it would end quickly, either in violence or in DQ... Donald or Seta, thats all they needed to completely rock these punks socks.

32One Fly Red Mage

Dash must still be fooling around with his sound equipment.

Nevertheless. BIA still met its 3 person quota. One just wasn't in sight of the competitors. Heck, even the 18 year old who's narrating this story can backread or.. in this case.. think back and see that BIA is in full effect.

"Woop woop woop!"

So Reiko decided to woop it up.

"Woop woop woop!"

33Imagination Unleashed

"Does he ever shut up...?" A simple thought born of someone being an aggrivating pain. Irrelevance was irritating and so were loud weaklings.

34One Fly Red Mage

Reiko was having too much fun. It was the only way to warm up. So he had to keep on with the

"WOOP WOOP! PARTY OVER HERE! WOOP WOOP!"

35Imagination Unleashed

Knowing the truth he was just hopping across the ice; he didn't need to since he could alter a miriad of things that would allow him across upon liquid water, however he moved to the 'cracked Tom and Jerry' piece of ice and just stared at the agitation incarnate before him. Hey, it was something to do whilst he waited... He was of course about eight feet off, but since attacks weren't allowed, he would do nothing of the sort. His wits were about him though.

Edited: Makes sense now. XD

36Mekryd

Mekryd was sorely tempted to offer some hot drink to the man, but that would null an advantage they had. He simply sat down, near the bank of the lake, watching things as the passed.

37Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash emerged from his "work station" that was the rear of the trailer with a small remote clenched in his right hand.

"Finished."

He'd been toiling away in there for some time, connecting wires, repositioning speakers, calibrating amplifiers, etc etc... The time had now come to test his creation!

True, Dash's energy signature was rather pathetic when compared to most other combatants. This was intentional. If he wanted to, he could strut about in full force, causing reality to quake violently as if it were attempting to give birth to a planet. He could be the large stone cast in the lake of existance, resonating awesomness that would leave even the gods in awe. But, he doesn't. Dash is confident in his abilities and doesn't need to prove anything to anyone else.

He knows he is strong.

He soars under the radar, emitting only what is necessary, when it's necessary. He knew he would be monitered, hell, he planned on doing some "surveillance" of his own. Energy signatures, special senses, whatever his foes would use to "scan" him and in turn, evaluate his abilities would all read the same: Weak, non-threatening, civilian.

The man wouldn't have it any other way.

Dash knew his opponants would possess an abundance of strength, why else would they be here? He knew they would present challenges of varying sorts, testing his mental and physical prowess to the utmost limits. He knew he would see the impossible, brave the unthinkable, even endure the unenderable.

But above all, Dash knew he would beat the unbeatable.

For you see, any seasoned fighter would know that raw strength and power meant nothing if one had no tactical prowess, no cunning, no resourcefulness, no brains.

Dash however, was no stranger to this concept. He would approach each fight with the idea of pushing himself mentally morso than physically. Anyone could simply overwhelm their opponant with power and crush them! It happens all the time. But it takes a true warrior to face an opponant on equal or even lesser terms and still defeat them. Dash would always attempt to match his opponant, fighting on their own level. If he felt he couldn't win there, then a victory through any other means was hollow and unfulfilling.

In fact, team Black in Action was the embodiment of this concept. Reiko, whose power was unfathomable by most, rarily manifest it and beat his opponants using wits and careful planning. Then they had Ray, who was just a human, but was without a doubt as tough as any of them. Dash hasn't exactly seen the woman in acton, but he knew enough to suspect that she could hold her own against any adversary they should face.

There you had it, the team who did not need to flash their "strength" about in the form of psionic signatures or planar wavelengths. Although they did have an extrodinary amount of confidence in their abilities, it came with good reason.

They were strong, they knew it, and they sure as hell could prove it.

38Imagination Unleashed

Hehe... No no, they don't get it; its funny how they think they do. What I am measuring they simply do not understand... This should be a cinch. I shouldn't even have to work, to think, I'll let 'the monk' in me do its thing. I grow tired of strutting for I have beaten more than one person in all forms of combat; besides there is one truth:

The winner doesn't win by talking.

He moves to the other side of the lake, of course jumping from ice patch to ice patch, and awaits his third team member's mystical appeareance. If anything, he will lose by default, but that is the only way he will lose.

39Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash would occassionaly glance towards the center of Bass'ken and see Reiko being stupid as usual. Then he would see the "anomoly".

What the hell?

This thing watching Reiko didn't appear to be human, but more machine. This set off several flags in the back of Dash's mind. He was becoming more anxious by the minute. Good machines were always a challenge to fight. They were never scared, had no vitals or organs to be bothered with, never hesistant, and calculating.

With those things in mind, Dash knew if he should fight the machine, he would be at a disadvantage. He loved this. His only real concern would if their team were to win by default. To be denied the challenge he anticipated would lay ahead would be a crime to the man. Saddly, there was little more Dash could do about this then wait.

Dash walked over to the left side of the semi and sat down, leaning against one of the massive tires attached to the trailer. He fiddled idly with the remote while keeping his attention on the lake. The gears in his mind began to turn.

40Donald Tenebrae

It was cold. Donald clinged tight to his insulated black shirt. It had a skeleton print on it. His 6' scythe was tied to his back. His tight white jeans offered some warmth, though they were very holey. THis wasnt a good sign. Donald wore a headband around his head, and it covered one eye. So his Eyepatch wouldent be visible.

Agony, the sword he took from the highest level of Drakes mind drapped loosely at his right side. He kept on walking. He heard loud music in the distance. It was rap music. Intresting choice. However, he only liked one rap band. NWA. He found their music contreversial, and he liked that kind of music.

And perhaps the music would provide rythm for them to fight too. Donald was good at that sometimes. Non the less, something had to be done.. And he smiled, as he took his small mp3 player out of his pocket. It had small speakers, but with the removal of his headphones..he could make it do tricks.

It played loud, a deafing boom of music amplified through it. "TONIGHT IM BURNING STAR FOUR." It screamed.

No, not Coheed. It wasnt appropriate for his entrance. Although, it might startle his opponets and allys. It was so loud they could hear as Donald akwardly cycled through the tracks..He felt like a noob. He finally found what he wanted, music matching his shirt. Misfits. He played the song "Astro Zombies"

As he approached his allys, and enemys. "Sorry to be late." He had forgotten his music was probally to loud for them to hear him..He cut it off. "Um..Sorry. I just wanted to be flash too.." He put the mp3 player back into his pocket. "Im Donald Tenebrae. Representing 'Team Malice'. I understand its up to me to make pairs..So. I'd like to pair myself with Drake, and pair up Seta and Mekryd. If my team is okay with this descison, we may start."

He smirked and placed his right hand on the scythe on his back, waiting for the right time to start. It was cold, and slippery. That means close quarters combat would be a sure fire way to win.

41Imagination Unleashed

The first 'unknown' ever to be seen by Drake was within the area; within the the actual grasp of a friend? An Unknown was submitting to a mortal? Amazing.

Agony, though the story goes back a ways, there was still controversy between The Anomaly and The Unknown. A contention that was still holding his mind by the throat as he thought of how he was targetted for an assassination within his own mind to prevent his ascension. However it failed, and perhaps now this was the punishment of the being; to be forever handled by those who found it and simply overpowered the now worthless being.

Then again, there were many things that could have happened; either way, the data which was contained within the area seemed to surge at the very presence of the weapon; the Unknown and living weapon.

There was Donald as well, Donald Tenebrae, his appointed leader and thus his absolute controller for all things that had to do with this battle. He did not answer his inquiry; doing what he was told and doing it well was all that mattered for there were people to hurt, and whoever he was paired up with would be damaged severely before leaving.

That was the plan.

He just had to await the order...

42Donald Tenebrae

Sadly..There was the matter of match ups. Donald wanted to do it like a democracy, but he guessed he couldent. "Mekryd voluntered to be the alternate..but I dont see Seta...hmm." He was thinking outloud again. "Untill Seta shows, the matchs are as follows. Drake VS. Dashboard...Since Drake wanted the hardest match. I'll take the loud man.. And Mekryd or Seta can take the girl. Sound good?" If anyone, his team or his opponets had a complaint. He would change it. He was agreeable as long as he was fighting. He was however getting chilly. So he took a nerve duller. Something Kiddick got him hooked on. They were cigs that stopped your sense of pain. He took one, and put it between tightly pursed lips. He smiled and it lit itself.. He felt warmer already.

43Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash noticed the new arrival. At last, their third had arrived. The man stood to his feet, adjusting his parka and scarf before progressing forward towards the center of the lake.

Time to go over and say "hi".

Once he approaches the lake's edge, he would then leap forward, timing his jump to correspond with the passing island of ice. He would continue to leapfrog in this manner until finally approaching the lakes center.

Dash then waves towards the opposing team.

"Hey there!"

His voice was rather friendly for the time being. They may be opponants for now, but there was no reason for them to be enemies.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to speak with your captain for a moment!"

44One Fly Red Mage

"WOOP WOO--"

Aw... it was time to start. WELL. Having fun can be done another day. Reiko circled his right leg clockwise over his left while turning his body slightly, then pushing off of it to put himself back on his feet.

Except.

"Oh nyuu!"

WHAM! Right on his face. Maybe this time he'd get up normally. And he did. Congratulations.

Donald stepped forward. "Im the leader your looking for.." That was all he needed to say for now. He blew smoke out of his nose. "I presume you are the leader of the opposing team?"

He began to punch and kick on the snow bank for two reasons.

 1. Fighting with cold muscles and not being stretched / warmed was hard.
 1. To prevent himself from eminating heat in order to prevent freezing.

The second was not as much of a threat as the first since during the fight, due to style, the cold might actually catch up with him. Already this one was planning for what was coming across as 'tough' perhaps. Maybe? Either way, knuckles cracked, kicks were thrown, punches made, and imaginary enemies dispatched by his combat style.

He stood off about 40' from Mr. Tenebrae.

47Supreme Jerk Commander

He nods. For some reason, Dash was being strangely... not obnoxious.

"Glad you made it, I really didn't want this setup to all go to waste."

Dash shot a breif smile at the man before him.

"Allright, here's how this is going down. The fight order for my team is Reiko, then myself, then Ray. Best two out of three, standard tournament rules. You may pick the matchups. Are these terms okay?"

Dash extends his right hand towards the man to seal the deal with a brisk handshake.

Donald shook the mans hand with a smile. "Traditional tournament rules apply. Ill fight Reiko."

He stepped back from Dash, so he could draw his scythe. It had a six foot long blackened oak shaft, and a 3 and a half foot long onyx blade.

He smirked and held it outward, holding it towards the end of the shaft. It was pointed towards Reiko, so his opponet could have the first move.

Donald smirked, and took the role of announcer.

HEAVEN OR HELL. ROUND ONE.

Donald VS. Reiko.

LETS ROCK

49Donald Tenebrae

((My little sister is bitching..So I only have ten minutes till its her turn..))

50Supreme Jerk Commander

*Dash smiles and gives a slight nod to his opponant.

Can't wait...

He turns and takes his leave. As he walks by Reiko, he pauses just long enough to say under his breath:

"Show'em what you got, champ."

That was when he hit the button to the remote held in his left hand.

BOOM!

There was an explosion of bass and a hiss of hydraulics. The entire left side panel of the semi's trailer buckled out and folded upwards, revealing the very creation Dash had been laboring so hard over: A bitching sound system.

The amps were fired, causing the massive subwoofers to vibrate and the rows of 20" speakers to spew forth what would seem to team BIA as "audio perfection".

Yes, they had brought their own combat music, proving that Bass'ken Lake, was not named in vain.

It was time to Rock, and rock they would.

51One Fly Red Mage

"Oh we're fighting?"

Reiko put his hands in front of his torso and started walking towards Donald.

Since the enemy was closing in on Donald, he swung his scythe upwards from his enemys right hip towards his left shoulder. He hoped he would dodge, or this wouldent be very instresting. The enemy had put himself in perfect range by walking towards Donald.

Donald spread his left foot back from his right and sort of leaned so he could get some vantage when he swung. And put more force into his swing. (1/17)

53One Fly Red Mage

Reiko dipped his body slightly while rearing his left fist. Was Reiko dodging? No. Actually... he was taking the hit to the body. wuzupwitdat?!

-Klak!-

Was the sound the blade would make coming in contact with his hoodie. What would Reiko feel? A bit of force coming from one direction but nothing big. Point being, the scythe would be stopped cold.

And right after taking the hit. His already reared left fist shot forward at Donald's head. It was going kinda slow though. Yeah.. right up until those 9 rapid flashes of yellow light which took the likenesses of fists flying hard and fast. Widening the attack area to head, collar, and upper torso. Oh yeah, and they weren't just illusions either, they flew fast, hit hard, and were coming for Donald. The final hit would be his own real fist actually speeding up as he turned his body on his right foot for a slugging effect.

(( 2/17 ))

54Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash, having now reached the edge of the lake, takes close visilage over the fight.

Reiko, I hope you know what the hell you're doing...

Was Dash worried about Reiko? Of course not, he knew the man could handle himself. However, he knew nothing of his opponants outside of how they looked. He was confident, sure, but he wouldn't allow himself to underestimate them by any degree.

The music behind him rages on, providing the proper ambience for their location. No specific song was playing in particular. The bass beats were heavy and there were light instrumentals. The overall tempo was slow as the battle had just emerged into its infancy.

55Bubbles [v3]

A snowball flew from the other side of the lake, straight to Dash's head.

"TURN OFF THE MUSIC, HIPPIES!"

Ya, Unsane again. Don't mind him, he's always pissy.

though he did put ice in the snowball. Dirty man, playing foul.

56Mekryd

Mekryd stood off, backing down. His match would be last, to allow time for Seta to show up, or so he understood. That worked well enough for him. He took this time to sit down and just watch the other opponents. Mekryd didn't seem to carry any weapons on him. With his control of magick, constantly absorbing energy, he would not seem to have any aura. Perhaps a bit of an odd, backwards flow, but no energy coming -from- him.

57Imagination Unleashed

Dash, I must win against Dash, face and over power he who stands in my way. Dash must fall... Dash.... Dash...

Repeating phrases about how to defeat his opponent the thing takes in these little squabbles; hopefully it would end quickly with his leader out on top. If not then there would be some making up to do. Though chances were that there would be little to fear, he would prepare mentally anyway.

It was time to shine and re-ascend.

He wanted Heaven.

His opponents would recieve Hell.

The Celestial of Parodoxies would rest in his Throne soon.

The rest of the world was surreal, not even being taken into actual context anymore as there was but movements and practicing as wel las thoughts and ingenuities coming into being. There were hundreds of millions of weapons here... And all of them would be set upon the being, probability after probability played out within the Celestial workings...

Dash.

58[Na no da]

"Yay!"

Ray now stood on the other side of the Semi-truck, jumping from side to side cheerfully, shouting 'good lucks' and 'Do your best' to both team fighters, everytime her feet lifted off the ground snow would be picked up getting sent behind her into a slowly buliding mound of snow.

Once the fighting had gone underway, she'd plop down onto the snow watching with wide open eyes, her hair covered in the flakes of snow that fell from Bass'ken's sky.

Although what she wore seem ludacris with the weather, she felt nocold, had her body grown numb already? No, she was jumping around and shouting to much for it to even be looked at as cold.

Whileing watching, she'd reach for both feet streching out her body while cracking her bones in unison.

Getting back onto her feet, she'd stand straight and lean back without any help of her hands, until her head touched the snow'd ground. Once it had, she'd do a quick hand-stand, pushing herself back onto her feet.

Turning in the snow quickly, a smile on her face, she'd run back into the semi-truck and pull out a cover placing it on the ground, she'd sit on it, and watch tapping her feet together.

She was eagarly awaiting her time to fight, she'd put what she'd leared in Lu-bu with Sieg, to the test. But for now, she'd simply be a spectator of Reiko's and Donald fight.

59Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash was so engrossed in the battle as well as his own thoughts, he didn't even see the snow/iceball come flying at his head. That guy had one hell of an arm.

-THOK-

The effect was strange. If this were a videogame, Dash would be standing in one frame, and on the ground in the next, skipping all the animations in between.

"..."

The "Attack" hit him in the side of the head, and as expected, his goggles did nothing.

He lay there motionless for a few moments before finally allowing one word to escape his lips.

"WHO?"

60Bubbles [v3]

THE GOGGLES! THEY DO NOTHING!

Snortchucklesnarl. Unsane: 1, Punksters: 0. The elemental went back inside and enjoyed himself some fine nookie with his vampire girlfriend.

61Imagination Unleashed

The Grid showing no change in any kind of activity, he was beginning to fall asleep. Or the equivalent. Either it was boredom, even though he could just do something 'amazing' to spice it up, or it was simply the fact that he just wanted to win and move on. His opponent was simply watching which made the wait all the worse since he was right there.

62Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash, growing impatient with the fight going on at the center of the Arena, decided to progress things abit on his own. The lake was most certainly large enough for more than one fight to take place. So, he stands, unzipping his parka and casting it aside along with his scarf.

What now stood was a man clad in dark crimson body armor, that molded to conform with his very physique. It covers his upper torso, with a "collar" that rose to shield his neck. On his wrists were a pair of bracers which ran into the gaunthlets over his hands. There were shin guards, elbow pads, and knee pads visible as well.

Dash rolled his neck and bounced about, getting himself loose and ready for his opponant who await him from across the lake.

He would then advance onto the floating platforms of ice, moving about from plank to plank until settling on one massive sheet that fit his liking. It was here he would wait.

He reaches up to remove his goggles from across his eyes to a dormant position at the top of his head.

He had no visible weapons on his person save for a pair of obsidian colored nunchucks that rest in a holster located at the small of his back.

63Imagination Unleashed

"..."

The monk, The Celestial, The Man, The Legend.

There was no hopping, he simply walked over the water, over the obstacles, and went straight for the fight that was to take place. The jet black strange looking thing simply stood about 30' off looking at his opponent; there was too much space, 20', 10'. Here he would stop and 'stare'.

Definitely not human, with no 'face' The Grid was activated within its mind and the target locked onto; coordinates would be followed and the like. This was about to become combat.

No stance, hands open, his opponent would have the oppurtunity to strike first.

64[Na no da]

Ray blinked, watching Reiko, and then Dash move onto the Ice, tilting her head, she'd sit on the cover with her feet still hitting each other, leaned back on her hands, she wondered why was Dash moving toward the center, but then it snapped, a small smirk forming over her tanned face.

A small giggel formed in her throat, a sniff for her running nose, she'd stand up and walk to the front of the semi truck, then around it, opening the drivers side, stepping in, and closing the door, her hand flowing toward the igintion key. She'd turn it, and cover her ears as loud rap music blasted , shaking the trailer's side.

Sighing, she knew not how to turn it off, so she let it play continously. While turning on the heater to keep her warm for a moment, stepping out of the car she sighed ,dropping to her backside again, the falling snow would cover her completely after a while.

R-U- Ready? Ret's Batto!

Dash bounced slightly, shifting his weight to his right foot, the same foot he would use to push foward. The action left a slight crack in the ice beneath his feet, but nothing threatening.

Dash would cover roughly half the distance between before tensing his right fist. His eyes focused on the foe, he may not have been entirely human, but Dash still watched for anything suspicious.

The being did tense up, however, it was not as obvious as one would expect; with that, it moved calmly in a walk forward. His opponent rushing there seemed to be nothing but the being's right and left hands moving up to his side and pointing towards his opponent with elbows bent at 145 degrees.

Nothing in particular the fingers were bent ever so slightly as the movement was made. For some reason it was anticipated this way, as if this was planned out long before it even began...

Donald had made a quick observation as the scythe hit the hoodie, the curve of the blade lying flat on his chest, he pushed against his opponet, this and some quick side stepping put him to the right of the amazing punch attack.

"BRILLANT."

He said with a touch of excitement. As the final punch barely slid past him, he spun the scythe in his hands, and used it to push against his opponet, using the icy surface to cause himself to gracefully slide backwards away from his enemy, and would probally cause his enemy to fall over since he was throwing a punch hard.

After he came to a stop, he braced himself once again, spinning his scythe clockwise very quickly it started to blur. It was going extremly fast. And even though it was 6' Donald started spinning it with just his right hand.

He smirked.

It was going very fast. He had his right hand behind him, and his left hand in a open fist facing his opponet. Donalds legs were spread, it looked much like a judo stance. But really it was a self taught "Reaper" style of scythe fighting. He had no need to fight with his hands, or agony for the moment. What his enemy didnt see, was Donalds right arm was automail. So the next attack Donald would launch from this hand could crack his enemys armor.

68Supreme Jerk Commander

Close enough.

-Skkkirt!-

Dash ceased his forward movement, the action causing him to slide forward a few inches due to the low traction of the ice. To counter this, Dash bent his knees slightly, lowering his center of gravity and maintaining balance.

His weight shifts to his left and he uses it to restart his movement, only this time to head towards the right, perpendicular to his foe. Another crack forms where he would change directions.

His tensed right arm would being to emit feint ribbons of green energy.

Calculations would run through the mind of the being as he took what he knew of hte area and the physics of this world and placed them into his palm. Essentially there would be a new technique tried out a little later if this battle carried on that far; however there was a good chance that he could do this in multiple ways, the first of which he would quickly try.

Absolute markers and points would appear on the grid seemingly glowing with such intensity that they were not mistakeable; these were the perfect places to begin setting up the first of the traps. These points just under the ice where Dash would land as well as around him for a few feet would allows the moving man almost no time for the surprise awaiting him.

Celestial Bombs.

Common and usually a deadly manuveur the places where they were to be set were focused on simaltaneously and energies wre brought to bear from the beings very mind. Due to the rule the actual bobms weren't strong and actually low energy as it was but now were virtually unnaffecting. Seven were set, six at equal distance about three feet around the opponent's current position and one right under his left foot whilst it was strafing.

The moment they were brought in they exploded in harmony thus causing a hole in the ice where the opponent would fall in hopefully; of coruse since they exploded upon appearance they wouldn't be noticeable or 'detectable', and since the man didn't need to eminate or release anything there would be no 'increase' in his energy or actions. He didn't move except to turn towards his opponent with his hands in the same position. He'd be standing on water, however as a monk long ago, he mastered his connection with nature.

Effects:

Possibly there would be burns, the man might fall in thus inducings possible sudden shock ( if the water is that cold ) and definite confusion. Eardrums might rupture due to explosions. Ice chunks might harm opponent with scratches.

Effects and Drake:

Ice would be deflected by his skin, immunity to his own energies would prevent burns as well as the fact that he does not burn easily.

[2]

71Supreme Jerk Commander

-THOOM-

Dash indeed, didn't expect the sudden explosion that would erupt around him. More importantly, the one beneath him.

The blase would cause him to flip foward into the air, seeming head first into the mydrid of ice, water and debri that rose from the other bombs. His first instinct was to shield his face with his arms.

His armor, being heat resistant protected him from burns, as well as most of the damage caused from the flying chunks of ice. The deafening roar of the blast itself would most obviously cause a loud ringing in his ears.

All in all, the man hit the ground, sliding forward a few more feet before finally tumbling off the side of the ice sheet and into the water with a heavy splash.

Could it be over so soon?

((3))

72Imagination Unleashed

"You need him alive."

As insane as it would seem he would stand on the ice which he just formed however his mind was still focused on the body of the opponent that he could see without eyes. He expected an attack from either under the water or around him suddenly and likewise got prepared. However, his opponent would float if he passed out, and wouldn't drown right off if he did. So vital signs were being checked at all times just incase he needed to rescue him.

After all, the objective was not to kill him.

Still, there was another attack, another manuveur; the air would be the next target. Mental demagnification of the particle's movements as well as the barometric pressure would begin to lower the temperature of the atmosphere around Dash and Drake. The other fights over on some ice sheet more than a couple meters off the ten meter area of effect would indeed begin to fill with cold dry air.

Effects:

Harder to breathe as well as hypothermia and other effects becoming more probable; also, ice effects will have a much easier time being activated while fire effects would be much harder to keep around. The air is too cold for oxygen to feed fire well. Passing out from the temperature and lack of breathable air is highly probable after vigorus activity.

Drake:

He does not breathe, however, the temperature will catch up with him in time. Being sentient, while he cannot feel it, it still affects him should he not stay warm. He still has a higher resistance to temperature though.

73Supreme Jerk Commander

-Splash-

Dash would emergy from the icy depths at the edge of the sheet twenty or so feet down from His opponant. Hastily, he returned himself to his feet.

The brief "swim" was an unpleasant, but tolerable one. It was fortunate that Dash had prepared himself for the climate the way he had. In addition to his armor being faily insulated, keeping his body temperature steady, A wetsuit was concealed firmly beneath it.

He would have to be an idiot to fight on a freezing lake without one.

What he wasn't counting on was the sudden change in the air around them. This wasn't good. The cold he could stand, but he needed oxygen. Dash would either have to move out of the area of effect, or end the fight quickly.

He would rush his opponant once more, leaving yet another crack at his takeoff point, and several more at spaced intervals. His right arm tensed as the once feint green aura it held before his little dive, had reappeared in full force, becoming a maelstrom if green, swirling energies.

Let's try this again...

Time for this fight ot get heated. Donald stepped forward, and smiled. He brought his right automail hand hard at his enemy, the still spinning scythe would colide with his enemys chest, cracking his armor in two. His enemy might not know his right arm was automail yet though, so Donald would keep him guessing. Since the blade of the scythe was three and a half feet long, it would cut his enemys chest. But it wouldent embed itself because Donald was holding it a percilur non lethal way.

Again, Donald would use the momentum to sort of skid off..like a iceskater away from his opponet. He would stop about five feet away. Which would be conveinant, since his scythe was six feet long.

His red hair was falling in his eyes, but not enough to deterr his fighting. His opponet had proved to be worthy so far. Except he kept walking into attacks, if he ran, or something..it would be more of a challenge.

75Imagination Unleashed

"Expected."

Reading his opponent like an open book there were a few things he forgot. First off his face, which was probably not pretected by the wetsuit, would begin to freeze, second a wetsuit could only take so much cold, which would make it even more probable that he would catch hypothermia, and third, the most important, he was wet in ice cold air...

That of course meant that the water on him would begin to slowly freeze, which would also frost up his goggles turning his 'run' into a blind rage which might not be as well aimed as he would like. Atop this, the energies which were swirling were visible, their area of effect determined and more than likely there would be an enjoyable more or less 'deadly' amount of force in that hand.

That was a good thing.

Probably during his decent under the water he took in some water in his throat which would of course make it even harder to breathe whilst charging and then the wind that he had the intelligence to add to his own movement would only make his face and other exposed skin colder as well as the water on him freeze quicker. The air would probably be getting thin and if anything a new headache developing.

All from his choice to run.

Now Drake would intervene and take note of the ice in front of Dash, again with perfect percision due to The Grid and its superiorly large amount of possible points of Geometrical intensity, there was the perfect place chosen to strike at the man who was coming in. His stance did not change, hands up at 145, and feet still with knees slightly bent; however this time they bent a little more as if he was preparing to jump.

Whatever he was planning would be done within the next moment as he awaited his opponents sudden realization that vigorus activity which causes heavier wind resistance was not bright. Still wet, his outer clothing as well as his goggles and face and hair ( if it were uncovered ). It was just a matter of time now...

However there was a twinge, Drake too was starting to get cold, and thus would have to move next time.

Reiko's left foot pressed against the ice, cracking it slightly right before he shot off under the coming attack, leaving a trail of icy mist behind him as he zoomed at Donald, propelled by the ki he released out of his foot, which was what caused the ice to crack in the first place.

He didn't have to run. By the time his legs would start moving in that way anyway he'd already be too close to Donald because of the ice sliding him as well. That's how fast he was going.

But onto the point of this. As he would zoom straight into Donald, his right fist would rotate from in front of his torso as if he was opening a lid from the top, "back" into the center of Donald's body.

Now, whether or not he took the hit to the torso/stomach area wasn't important. Because whatever Reiko came in contact with, he'd release "blast force" from his fist upon impact to send it and Donald flying back.

Inspite what was percieved by his opponant, Dash was not as foolish as he was thought to be.

During the explosion, the first thing Dash had done was to cover his face. He didn't stop covering his face once he hit the water. His arms are covered by not only his armor, but the wetsuit, etc etc. It wasn't as good as a mask per se, but it was good enough, given that Dash did not spend too long completely submerged. A few seconds at most, no where near the time it would usually take for an unprotected individual to develope symptoms.

He had not taken in water into his lungs for he and long anticipating hitting the water as he began his slide towards it. Oh, and another thing, his goggles were resting atop his head, not over his eyes.

Dash pressed on, the heat his body generating from not only his own movements, but the accumulation of his spirit were more than enough to keep him functioning. He smirks as he sees the actions of his foe before him.

Anticipation?

Dash did not intend to strike the creature with the enemy he accumulated any more than he planned to continue his forward trajectory. He woudl once more change course, this time moving to the right and away from his foe, the ground once more cracking beneath his feet every few steps.

Just, a little... more...

Donald had other plans. He threw the scythe as he saw his enemy sprind forward. The handle might have clipped him on the stomach, but it might have just cleared him. Since that was the intention, Donald still had his left hand free, and was still sliding on the ice. He grabbed his enemy by the hoodie, just as the scythe would return like a boomerang. It wouldent kill his enemy, but the blade should lodge in his enemys left shoulder. Donald was then hit by the blast punch, but Donalds hand just wouldent let go.

They would both go sliding on the icy floor, towards the lake. Where they had the danger of the ice cracking. But Donald had a plan. They were approaching a pillar. If his plan had worked, he could most likely perform a finisher.

"******** brillant." He said threw clenched teeth. He had most likely cracked a rib, but thanks to the pain nuller he had smoked, he woudlent know that till later.

Infact, he might have cracked a few. He tookt eh hit dirrectly to his chest. He smiled. This match was everything he wanted and then some.

Mekryd ruffled the back of his head awkwardly. "Ah, we were starting the fights now? At the same time?" He wasn't feeling very competent. Or informed at all. No one's really been telling him anything. Eh, he'd wait a while, though. I'd be a problem if their fights crossed over. And the striker system was still there, after all.

Ray stood on her toes, waving toward her soon enemy, a smile on her young face. She'd seen him before, she didn't know his name, but she seen him from her dojo many times before.

With her smile bright, she'd turn to face the fight, where did Dash go? She wondered, and had Reiko won, had Donald?

Blinking, she'd walk closer to the ice, her look changed in just a few minutes in the semi-truck.

Streching, she'd continue to walk toward the ice, while warming her body at the same time her eyes on the fight that had gone underway.

81Mekryd

Mekryd, feeling someone's gaze as many people do, turned and waved back, looking a mite confused. She looked familiar to an extent. Probably some stranger he had caught a glimpse of when visiting one of the many sorts of places he visited. Well, she didn't seem to be a maliscious sort, or at least he didn't think so; those kinds of people tended to be more easily remembered for him... When her eyes moved back to the fight, so did his. Well, things were off to a... curious start. One was underwater, one wasn't even shrugging off the blows- he was just ignoring them. Great. He sighed, and palm met forehead.

82Imagination Unleashed

[ Current Conditions ]

 • Dry Air - Creatures with saliva would have a burning throat since it is not only a fluid, but it is freezing and causes skin irritation along with the actual air's temperature itself.

Headache - Dash was, unless he didn't swim with his arms and created some sort of absolute seal in which water couldn't get under, wet in the face. This would bring about headache as he dashed through the air.

The Temperature - moving around still causes the wind he generates to hit the water and make it freeze faster; even if he was warm on the inside, his face would still most likely not be comfortable.

The Goggles - I was wrong, he can see, though there is frost forming on his eyelids and possibly his eye lashes. The temperature is 'colder' than it was originally, which for water to freeze would be below zero on the celcius scale, or 32 on farenheit. Due to the size of the lake, it is safe to assume that the temperature was already well below zero to create something of this size. To that end, the air is much colder, easily -30 celsius, the throat burning should really be in effect now.

Air - Its thin, terribly thin actually since it would normally not be comfortable to breathe under such conditions for even a trained person. That and unless he trained under these conditions he would probably be lacking in the ability to compensate for the sudden change of temperature and breathe normally. This pairs with your 'jumping around' and the fact that you are taking this air as your source. Atop this you are expending energies gathering, thus you are only working harder; your body heat would most likely not effect the coldness of the air to the lungs seeing as it is too short of a distance from your mouth to your trachea.

Natural reactions - Your nose, it would begin to drizzle with mucus in an attempt to keep it from getting dry; if it is dry it hurts to breathe through it anyway thus adding the idea that you would be taking the air in through your mouth; still there is mucus in your throat which would also cause a painful sensation and naturally you would attempt to stop such pain in the course of things; suggesting less activity. Since you claim to be going at 'full force' ( last post about the energy around your arm ) there is a good chance that you will become exhausted much faster.

End - I guess I have to let it go huh? Poo, this only makes it slightly harder for me eh?

Drake took in the movements of the opponent, however there was little to do but stand and prepare himself as well as make a counter of his own; that was everything at the moment, awaiting, and he did not move expecting something from the back or the side. More than surprised at the 'ability' of the young man to keep this up was amazing, however Drake had to move.

He began to bounce in place with his knees less bent ( about 75 degrees ) from one foot to the other; the ice cracked, however the points of pressure being applied were small enough for nothing to come of it; still, there was that crack, and that would indeed help Drake later on. Meanwhile the being kept an eye on his little opponent instead of just ending this quickly for the counter attack would be ready indefinitely.

That was number two which came as soon as his left foot touched ice after coming forward, except it touched down sideways, accelerating back the other way. Creating power for the scoop lift to bring Donald almost overhead.

Luckily, having been in many barfights, Donald expected this. He knew his enemy would counter, he was a seasoned fighter. And though Donald was out of practice, he had a idea. He covered his left hand in shadowflame. It ingnited instantly. He swung with his right Automail hand at his enemys head as he was going down, which should knock him out if it hit. And with the left hand, he brought it up for a incinerating palm strike at his enemys exposed chest after he had been lowered a bit. The shadowfire would go through the armor like a hot knife through butter.

As the scythe flew uselessly across the arena, sticking itself in the snow. He was aiming for exposed areas, so it was almost sure to hit. And Donald would surely be slammed, but he wouldent go under, and that was what counted.

But, he would risk cracking another limb. If he hit his enemy though, it would slow the attacks down.

Ray's head turned quickly away from the scene, to avoid any sign of bloodshed as the sythe flew toward Reiko, Ray closed her eyes crouching slightly to cover her face.

Not hearing any sign of a scream, Ray blinked twice, before looking over her shoulder seeing Reiko fine and dandy, sighing her head would drop between her shoulders, a sigh of relief escaped her lips.

Her teammate had not been hurt, and Dash? Well..he looked just fine.

Ray would crouch down, hands locking infront of her shins, as she continued on watching the fight.

Dash was indeed beginning to feel the effects of the climate around him. His breath was becoming raggid and painful, throat burned, and he was starting to form a slight headache. But Dash endured. His adrenaline surged, as well as his spirit. He would go on, although his condition would only degrade before the time he was "ready". And now wasn't that time.

Dash continued running along his current trajectory towards the edge of the sheet of ice he were standing on. He lept off, adding another crack to the ice and decending on his next target, another drifting ice sheet, although much smaller than the one he was previously on. His goal would be to move out of the 10 meter AOE of the attack, which wasn't that difficult. He put about 50 feet between them and turned, coughing abit and attempting to catch his breath. His right arm still pulsed brightly as he held it steady at his side. He watches his opponant now, waiting.

Targetted was the new sheet as the coordinates and trajectories were taken into accord and a plan was made to immediately end this and move quickly towards victory. He was still moving, and he was warm enough to keep active; focusing on the actual sheet of ice he forced it to flip vertically away from his opponent.

His footfall was now a wall.

He would either slide off after hitting it, break through it and cause himself some pain, or land on it but, due to thinness, it would break under his weight and he would lose balance; thus either way the chance that he would be getting wet once more was great. This was again to be used.

If he went into the water, due to the mind's charging before hand the water around his area was being take into his power; nothing would happen yet, however, the water would appear to be frosting and freezing slowly. No sheet formed yet, however, the bonds were beginning to become obvious...

In mid air Dash extends his arms and legs, increasing his surface area to a point where, given his current velocity, his body would not produce enough force to crash through the ice. Especialy since it was at least sturdy enough to stand on. Instead, his "collision" (during which, Dash would keep his right arm slightly raised as to not accidently release his stored energy into the ice) would aid in flipping the sheet upside down, returnining to its level position.

Dash would then push off the platform with his left hand while using his legs to return to his feet. He began to bounce about in place now. He only hoped his opponant would toss more surprises in his direction to keep him in motion. The longer Dash remained active, the longer it would take for the effects of the cold weather to overcome him.

C'mon Dash... almost there...

The energy around his right now consumed most of his arm. It was almost time.

Ray blinked, watching closely, watching both opponents movement, she'd keep her eyes on them, her hands tenseing around her legs, she never shook of cold, nor did her lungs hurt from the thin air that circled around her.

She was walking around the semi-truck, rolling a ball of snow, leaning into the push as it got bigger and bigger, she'd soon stop, and start on a newer ball, all while watching the fight.

Once the second bacll got bigger, she'd pick it up and place it ontop of the first, looking around, she'd find a branch, snap it in half, and place it as the arms on the snowman, stones for his eyes, and a bending wire for his mouth.

She'd make tiny balls of snow and place them atop of another, until she had a fort, infront of the snow, she'd take a branch and place it behind her since it was rather heavy, she'd walk in circles and loops.

Until the name "Black in Action" was spelled out in the snow.

She'd walk back to her snow man and snowballs, a bucket of water next to her, the water would serv to make the snowballs hard as ice, if thrown they'd surly be painful.

"sniff"

she'd look up, toward the four fighters, her eyes open.

Mekryd looked passively on like a tired man watching a game on the TV, making wincing motions and cheering when appropriate, though it was a half-assed cheering. His eyes flicked about behind sleepy looking lids, ready to jump in as a Striker should things come down to that.

He held his hand out, and light formed about his hands, before extending and moving a bit forward as he moved it away from his hands, which he pulled into fists. The light floated a bit before stretching out into the shape of a staff. No need to rush this. He had time. The light began solidifying into a reddish crystal-wood.

92Imagination Unleashed

"Enough."

Effort.

Fianlly there would actually be jsut a bit of energy being put forth as calculations were solidified and he took in his opponents surroundings; perfect, he was on an island, this of course would allow for the manuever preformed to work almost immediately and without and kind of real complications. Using more of his little Celestial bombs he blew all the ice surrounding the platform that his opponent was on for a good thirty feet. This was occuring as his opponent was smacking into the block of ice that he was just getting to flip.

Now with zero options for 30' it was time to enact his plan and begin the walls; connecting to the water using ancient techiques of spiritual Shing Ju Nan he spoke to the 'Water Spirits' and made the walls about twelve feet high. The immediate rush of water about 28' out away from his opponent in a circle around his position which allowed for the opponent to be the center of this cylinder, was almost instantly followed by the freezing of it.

Then the roof top, water would seem to 'crawl' inwardly as it hardened and thickened about the man and his little island. The idea was simple, make it too cold for him to stay conscious. His vitals were being calculated as the Forces which were known as "Spirits" to Lessers continued these movements and actions. However, the top of this wall was made to curve inward, and away from the edge about seven inches were walls which ended with tiny sharp needles two inches long. This was to keep his opponent in.

Of course, Dash would be on his feet by now, but the energy from his arm was more than anticipated and he was still a good ways away ( 40~50 feet? ) the ice prison would finish this aggitating battle. It did take take energy to speak to, control, and then freeze the water; however with the help of those who kept the water, The Spirits, this was made so much easier than it would have been if it was just pure psionics.

Its creation was quick, much less than a minute but over twenty seconds starting while his opponent was dealing with the his own little island. That and he would have to stabalize from the blasts of water and the rocking of his miniature island.

Then, then the air, oh the barometric pressure would drop to zero; dry hard to breath air, and with it, the temperature dropped double-so. Assuming it was at least -30, it would become -60 or drop even more. This was the air that was within the prison which his opponent should be in.

Recovering wouldn't take too long, however, it did make the man hot, sweat even as the ice below his feet melted from the energy he expelled and he stood on the water once more. He was upset, there was no close quarters, however his opponent had chosen his own fate, and thus he would down eventually or 'burst out' of his little shell.

The Prison:

 • The walls are more than twenty two feet high; they are solid and built into the ground like columns, so swimming under isn't possible. However, due to the depth of the lake not being specified, accurate description was not possible. Twenty feet out of the water into the air, and then add that to the distance from the surface to the ground. [ X + 22 = H ]

The walls are thick, due to their being 28 feet, it would be safe to assume that they are two feet away, and towards, the center which would equate four foot thickness. Thats very thick.

The top of the prison is but 3 foot thick, the spikes depeicted stick out horizontally and are but a few millimeters apart making it difficult to climb and not harm youself. Of course they are sharp and they again start about 7 inches ( which is alot I know ) away from the end and are 2 inches long thus leaving a 5 inch slick highly difficult to grasp slope.

It is considered a magical prison since "spirits" were used in the creations, thus the 150% rule does take place. Exchange of energy for ' casting' is considered legitimate. Also, it will not 'melt and burn' like regular ice and the speed of the formation was expedited by the fact that it formed 1.5x faster than normal.

The inside and underside are smooth, there are no 'rough edges' along the walls. Also, the temperature is being transformed and the water within the prison stays liquid.

The Temperature:

Refer to aforementiond effects | Add:

 • Breathing is much more difficult.

The air definitely burns.

Hypothermia, regardless of outfit, is still highly possible.

Shock is definitely a possiblity.

The temperature change is sudden.

This is not considered a magical effect.

It is -60 or below.

Drake: Nothing to report besides he is slightly tired. Endurance has dropped however alertness is still high.

Note: This attack is considered an interrupt and started within the moment you slammed into the ice. Thus, by the time you got the thing to flip the walls would have been up.

Dash hits the ice slab, the bombs explode. He had experienced them once before so he wasn't as perturbed this time. What did catch his eye was the rapid wall of ice begining to extending upwards. As mentioned earlier, this would take over twenty second. He would react well before then. As the island began to rock violently as aftermath of the blasts, Dash decided he had been playing around long enough.

s**t...

Dash's aura now spilled off his arm and engulfed his body. The man would suddenly propel himself upwards and through the upper regions of the ice prision where he would force his way through the gap at the top as it had not completely closed. Large chunks of ice that would get in his way would shatter as he lead with his energy engulfed right fist.

I wanted to save this...

Once Dash was at the apex of his ascent, (A good 5 feet above the ice prison's top) he extended his arms to either side. His emerald green aura formed two pillars of what appeared to be electricity, but weren't. They then too the shape of a pair of wings which caused the surrounding area to be engulfing in the man's glow. His eyes locked onto his opponant down below, and without much more hesitation, he charged forward, the swirling forces about him now taking the shape of an eagle while en route.

Ray's head would pop out of the fort like a mole's on it's first day out between winters, and springs. Blinking, she'd spot Dash in the air, her eye brows cocked.

Yawning, she'd wait for her turn, while turning bottom's up, and sigging back into her fort, by now, Ray had gotten used to the cold, in her constant moving about.

She'd watch the fight from a hole in the fort, every now and again she'd pop her head out, cheering for her teammates, and grunting every time an attack was countered.

the front of her fort would soon cave in from Ray leaning on it, and Ray would fall out, the pile of snow falling onto her. Wriggeling out of it, she'd grinned almost embaressed and sit, legs crossed due to the fact she was wearing a skirt.

A chimpmunk had found it's way next to her, crawling ontop of her head. Giggeling, Ray grabed a piece of paper and a marker, wrote on it, and handed it to the chipmunk, who read it, and held it up, running back and fourth on her head, what did the sign say?

"BIA"

Ray herself held up one, cheering aloud to her team mates.

"The end is near..."

Standing upon the water, the recovery of the man was complete due to the energy syphon of the elements around him. Basically taking the ripples of the water and other energies floating around to help himself recover. Now, now was the time to defeat his enemy... Or it would be soon.

So it looked like another 'chi' master or something, obviously internal energies raging about outside the body, it would do him well to use a reserve manuveur when his opponent got close enough... However, he had to know the effects of the energies on the opponents body first.

With that, still standing, he held out a hand, the left, palm open, towards the sky and point where his opponent was... Contact would be within moments now...

[8]

96Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash's gaze shifted from the anomaly standing on the sheet of ice to the condition of the ice itself.

Here goes...

Dash's actions througout the fight were not done without reason. Earlier on he noted the creature's appearance and came to the conclusion that close in, hand to hand combat wouldn't fair too well. Unfortunately for Dash, he hadn't anticipated the full extent of his opponant's "other" abilities.

He continued as best he could, moving about his battlefield, making various cracks in the ice here and there during his seemingly random and somewhat cowardly actions while conserving his energy:

for one attack.

It was now time to throw the dice. He would set his plan into motion.

He approached his target, which may have appeared to be Drake himself.

It wasn't.

Dash then took a deep breath. His aim was not at Drake, but the area behind him. That area would be the center of the Ice sheet, and his point of impact.

-BOOM-

As his attack collides with the ice, he would move thorough it, delaying the full energy release of the attack until he actually struck the water beneath. The sudden force caused deep cracks to form along the ice, segmenting into pie-like sections.

For a good portion of the fight, Dash would make cracks along the ice in preplanned areas during his excessive footwork. Locations he choose carefully before the fight actually began. These cracks would serve as guides for the major cracks now forming, seperating the Ice in a way that should one apply a great force to the center, it would all fold inwards, threatening to consume those who happened to be on the sheet of ice.

Anyhow, as Dash propelled himself downwards, the act of releasing his energy would form a barrier around himself, which would push the water downwards beneath it, leaving a gaping void above that needed to be filled. The volume of water above Dash would sink in, pulling the plates of ice above with him. The effect would be similar to trying to suck a shattered dinner plate down a drain.

Once the plates all converged in the center, they would smash together like a clamp. The volume of water previously forced downwards would would spread and then jut upwards from the surface of the lake itself, creating 15 foot tall pillars that would also come crashing down.

Underwater, Dash would begin movingaway from his impact zone after traveling straight down for about 20 feet. He darted back towards the surface, clearing the attack area as swiftly as he possibly could. The barrier his attack had created was rapidly losing energy as it was now being divoted to keeping the water pressure from crushing him as it enclosed.

Since his enemy had earned his respect, Donald thought it unnesecary for them both to keep toying with each other. He rolled into his own shadow, and using a shadow elemental move he shadowstepped from his own shadow to his opponets shadow. He could do this twice more this battle, and he intended on doing it twice more. His opponet was on his knee, recovering. His akillies tendon on his right leg was exposed, and Donald would chop it with his shadowflame hand. Burning it badly, and most likely rupturing it. If this happened, he would be in intense, intense pain. And he would have a permanant limp.

Donald then did something else upredicitable, he smashed his right automail fist in the ice under his opponet in the small gap between his enemys legs. Which would cause him to fall under, and with a ruptured akillies tendon he wouldent be able to swim. He used his fighting style, which was composed of weight shifting to make hits more effective to cause himself to slide far back on the ice, about five or six feet.

In a uncanny stroke of luck, he landed by his sycthe..Though he was starting to feel pain from his cracked ribs. He was getting manhandled. He took out another pain nuller from his shirt pocket, and it lit itself. He waited to see what happened to his enemy before he himself got up.

Wet, but, still not faltering, there would be the emination from him which would allow him to warm up and the water under his feet would bubble. He would be standing about 8 meters away from the point of impact..

How he survived was simple; he was standing upon the water, liquid water of course, and just as he controlled his ability to stand on it he also controlled his ability to let himself go through; a quick 'stomp' before Dash came was in order to simply allow himself entry into the ice depths. Keeping his appendages at his sides before his opponent even came into contact with the area behind him, he would be hiding beneath the waves and literally swimming deeper to the point of about 30'.

Waiting in his pitch black nightmare, senses would go crazy and pressures would begin to acutally be felt; then again not being human this was nowhere near his threshhold and thus it was just a twinge, perhaps a barely recognizable sensation. However, he didn't see through his opponents plan at all and thus was somewhat amazed at his miscalculations.

The ice above, it was noticed and a 'warning' flag went up in his head. The idea was to actually let Dash crush hismelf in the ice, however, since he had targetted the ice in the first place and whilst Drake lay underwater, he would indeed be unnaffected by the brunt, as well as most of the after effects of the attack.

Then something became obvious. Dash had gone under the water; he was wet... And deep enough down for Drake to attempt to knock out; however this would be somewhat difficult but possible. Sind Drake had shot down in the water straight, he would technically be at the 'focal point' of the attack of the above attack, or, about 6 feet within the initial area of contact from above, however his 30' decent changed all of that.

Swimming was all that was neccessary, however, now as the prime oppurtunity to strike with his opponent being 10 feet above and the ice mroe than slowed by the very resistance and friction from the water itself causing the inertia of the ice and definitely its harmful potentials to be little to nothing. More than he could stand indefinitely. His original plan had indeed worked, sort of, however this complication would work towards his own benefit.

The Grid once more summoned as that is what he 'sensed' through there would be the water around his foe, and with it plenty of eletrons awaiting his commands; spinning and varying in number, skipping around and the like behaving normally, the clouds would be take nand for a moment there would be a seperation of the positive and negative molecules ( The atoms were not split, I am changing the arrangement of the eletrons by 'sharing' them and then giving one atom a positive charge whilst the other gets a negative. ) as eletrons moved from one H2O molecule to another.

Two hemispheres around his opponent, the top being of positively charged molecules ( possibly some ions in there ) and the bottom of negatively charged particles ( again, possible ionic properties due to influx and speed of this occurance ) would begin to do what they naturally did; cause static shock. Eletrons 'jumping' in the form of eletricity would shock unprotected skin repeatedly as the small 'bubble' was maintained by the ebing until vital signs told of unconsciousness. From there on there would be no more violent reactions.

Sparks in the water, which would rush around in its own element, became quite apparent as they could actually be seen lighting up the surface and with that Drake actually swam away, hence the twenty four feet distance from where his opponent should be. This actual actions took place when his opponent was at a depth of twelve feet, or that is wher ethe shocks would begin.

"..." Standing upon liquid water once more there would be nothing as vitals were read; if his opponent passed out he would dive in and get him or raise him telekinetically; the shocks could be quite strong, however with that wetsuit the chances of them being deadly was very slim. That and Drake still controlled the power of the shocks, transferring the energy into something else such as the outside of the bubble or making it dissipate completely.

There was no fear of death, however unconsciousness was highly probably if any of him was exposed, burns also highly likely, and unless his 'aura' or 'shield' ( if it had a shileding effect in the first place ) was 'up' when he arose to the top, he would be out cold and hopefully float to the surface. Then again, signs and maps were taken of the surrounding area checking for anomalies; he wouldn't be caught off guard though now he was cold.

Focusing and using his mind to control the inner body forces he allowed the energies ( eletrical in nature ) from the mind to other parts actually causing him to crackle a bit again. That would be the emination mentioned before. However with nothing to fight on, his opponent was actually somewhat in a predicament... There was no more ice.

Distance form the Impact when it occured.

Traingular distance: 6' by 30'

a^2 + b^2 = C^2

Plug in.

6^2 ( 6 x 6 ) = 36

30^2 ( 30 x 30 ) = 900

Approximated Distance = The Square Root of 936 which is: 30.59411708155667089801693446541367

Due to Lack of Proofs there is no way to describe nor compute how effective the actual 'vortex' of water would be since the size of the actual ice sheet was not stated. The actual amount of ice was also undone by the 'bombs' set earlier within the sheet itself thus effecting effectiveness of this attack as a whole since there is a whole within which could cause definite complications for the force and 'adhesiveness' of the ice on a whole.

Seeing as it was 'thin' ( assuming you did not put tons of force upon it to crack it ) and less than two feet thick it is safe to say also that most of the ice would have broken off and flown everywhere before actually 'coming together' and causing the desired effect. Broken in most areas plus the 'speed' and 'force' of the impact would indeed simply punch a whole through the ice will little more effect. Still, even so, you just got shocked...

[ Considers his aura... ]

99Supreme Jerk Commander

Since Dash's aura did not conduct electricty, and seeing how that was what the water would be incontact with at the time as it tried to crush him, he was for most part, unaffected by the new attack. Further weakening the attack would be the fact that, well, the water is cold, severly reducing the lake's overall conductivity. Pair that with Dash's wetsuit and the fact that his armor is not conductive as well and he was good to go.

He broke the surface of the water and grabbed hold onto a floating platform.

His aura would then dissappate as he climbed out. He took several deep breaths and turned towards the direction where he suspected his foe would be.

Dash's plan hadn't worked, and running hadn't done anything but nearly cost him the battle. So, Dash decided to go with what he knew. He would then yell:

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS! I'M COLD, TIRED, AND PISSED AS HELL! I'M THROUGH RUNNING! IF YOU STILL WANT TO SLUG IT OUT, THEN C'MON!"

Dash was hoping that his foe would be just as fatigued as he was, seeing how at one point he would have had to divote energy to not only maintaining the the constant low pressure regions about himself while somehow prevent the air from the regions of higher pressures around them from rushing back into the low pressure region to equalize the overall pressure of the environment. Then afterwards, focus on forcing electrical currents through the cold water AND maintain his own position within the that water by fending off the pressure as well.

Hand would come together and multiple things would happen; the high being would woule cast three spells at once, and all of them would come to pass within the next minute; seeing as he was standing on the water with an exhausted opponent he figured it would be safe to cast these spells without any real interferance. Of course, it would be for the very puropse of facing his opponent off the way it was to be.

The original design.

He had targetted himself and the opponent when he cast two sets of "Rejuvination" which would recover their strength to about 80% of the original hands down as well as take care of temperature and other effects which would be a problem. In other words, it was the 'reset button' of the match. Of course he could 'fight off the effects' since he was targetted, and he didn't know what the blue glow around his body would mean, but fighting tired opponents was never Drake's thing.

The third went towards a new 'rink' in which they would fight; ice about 3' thick would form under him and his opponent making a new arena; of course being an 'ice' ability the change was lightning fast due to the 1.5x settings. However, that was the end of the spells. A new rink and hopefully renewed strength for the both of them.

There was no uneveness here in this stance.

The Grid worked upon his opponents position; however he chose to move would dictate how this went down and how the first move was thrown; that is if Drake was even the one to go first... His opponent might decide to take initiative.

So..He had ran into another problem. He grabbed his scythe, and looked through the thick snow for his enemy. He got to his feet and looked around. He saw noone yet. He started spinning the scythe round and round, fueling the blade with Auramancy energy. In its purest form. A gift from Albia and the Agony blade.

It would make the blade of his scythe like a lightsaber, it would be most painfull when it hit. If it had enough time to charge, it woudl explode when making contact with his enemy. He was aware they were under a time limit, and it seemed time was running out. The scythe was no spinning in just his right hand, counter clockwise, at almost the maximum speed it could spin.

Then, he spotted something, It was his enemy. Getting away. Donald took a drastic measure, and shadowstepped infront of him, since it was overshadowed by cloud cover, he could shadowstep almost anywhere.

When he appeared, he had his right hand extended. And his enemy was still lunging towards the area he appeared in, the long and short of it, was he had jumped to the scythe. It was to late to stop. He was going to be a lucky man to survive, and he would need a deity on his side to dodge completly.

But, Reiko was resourcefull. And would most likely dodge.

This looked like something he had seen before, and clearly his tactics werent working. Once again he let go of the scythe, and this time before his opponet could knock into him, Donald matched his enemys turn. And Donald had a malicious way to finish this fight.

His shadow slid under then as Reiko went to jump into Donald. And then there shadows were close to meeting. And Reiko didnt notice. They merged, just as Reiko hit Donald. Donald was sent flying back, but Reiko would be too. They would be locked into the same motions by a shadow lock. The thing was, the scythe was still in mid air. Far back. It took a while to boomerang back. And it was starting to come back towards Reiko. Donald did something drastic, and stood. If his attack had worked, Reiko would stand aswell. It was a full proof plan. And a good example of why you dont go face to face with a shadowmancer. Because that makes the attack unavoidable.

So. The scythe would be coming towards Reiko, who couldent do anything unless Donald did. And it would lodge itself in his right shoulder. And most likely knock the conciousness out of him. Since the blade was still aura augmented, it would cut through his whole arm like a hot knife through butter.

(8/17) (This is like a Kage Mane No Jutsu from Naruto, but since im a shadowmancy master..it will be slightly more effective. And since you were point blank range with me, it is most likely unavoidable. Eventually, not instantly you can break free. But you would be tired after this, and winded. And you most likely couldent do it before the scythe returned to you.)

Ray would be seen charging toward Donald from behind , pressing off the ground with all her might, she'd leap in the air, and come as fast as possable onto his shoulders , wrapping her legs around his neck, she'd lean back once ankles locked, and lean back quickly flinging her legs back to throw donald behind her.

Soon after she'd let go, roll onto her side and lift up crawling away.

As soon as Ray moved from her spot and began charging, Mekryd began pursuit. He'd been watching for this. A small burst of elemental wind helped speed Mekryd along as he moved along the ice with his staff in his right hand, pressing against his back. His movements carried him to Donald's side, where he waited for an instant for her attack. A hand and the staff pressed against her as she jumped up, one catching her knee, the latter... backside, right next to his fist, as he flipped her over before she got to Donald, heaving her and downwards towards the cold ice, with the top of her back ready to make contact first. Mekryd apologized silently, since his movement was a bit rougher than necessary, but this was a competition, and Mekryd sort of liked the idea of winning.

While he was at it, he would make this next striker count for a bit more than just a counter. As he lunged away again, with his ten second limit running down, he 'yelled' in tree-speak. They wouldn't hear a voice, but Reiko would experience a very, very cold wind picking up around him. And so Mekryd was done, leaving Ray to, hopefully, run out of her 10 seconds and be penalized.

This feature allows a fighter's team-mates to momentarily enter the bout for the purpose of aiding their team-mate either defensively or offensively. The terms and conditions whereby a Striker Assist can be initiated are detailed below:

 1. The fighter performing the Striker Assist can only be involved in the bout for a designated time period of 10 seconds, usually lasting a single post.
 1. Once the Partner Assist is executed, the fighter involved cannot perform another Partner Assist until a total of five posts have passed.

(( Excuse me, but I see nothing limiting attacks, but only time. Ergo, I have 10 seconds (one post) to do as I please. ))

You performed two partner assists in one go. Both defensively blocking BIAs Striker and offensively attacking Rei.

By definition, a Striker is a single assisting action.

The time limit was added to make sure people didn't abuse of their -single- action.

But by stopping Ray, and sending a spell at Reiko, there's no time limit needed. It's clear that you made two moves.

The flag is sent, the match goes on.

Mekryd had done what needed to be done. And Donald would thank him for it. Donald smiled at Reiko, and jumped. Since everything that just happened was going on at the same time of Donalds jump, Reiko wouldent have had time to break free of the shadow lock. And, Reiko would undoutedly jump. And then the scythe would hit him, and come through his shoulder cutting off his arm and slide under Donald.

Donald would then land, with the scythe under him. This was if everything went right. Which it should, Reiko didnt have time to overpower the bind. But if he was in enough pain, he would be released from the bind automaticly.

[ Edited: Stance Edit | The Hands are held at 4 inches distance and are open; the elbows are not 4 inches away from eachother at all. ]

Dash seemed confused for as the strange blue aura surrounded it. It wasn't his, so this would be the time his body would usually begin its defensive procedure against "foriegn" entities trying to "attack".

Usually.

Dash decided against it this time. He figured if his opponant wouldn't face him hand to hand now, when Dash said he wasn't going to run anymore, then there was no point for him to continue. I mean, he was cold, tired, had a pounding headache, and it hurt to breath. Or... at least that was the case a few seconds ago.

Was his opponant actually healing him? Why? Out of pity?

Dash would have become angry had he not seen his foes next actions: The creation of a new "arena" and the combat stance. So he had accepted.

A smirk would then come to his face.

Good

Dash, although feeling much better, still knew he couldn't endure a drawn out engagement with his foe. This would have to end quickly, and if his opponant's earlier performance was any indication, it would have to end flawlessly.

Okay.

Dash shifts into a stance of his own, or one might call it a stance. He turned his body perpendicular to Drake's, facing him with his left. He bent his knees slightly and spacing his feet a little over a foot apart, He left arm would take position between himself and Drake, the fist opened, and his fingers slightly curled. It would remain at about upper torso level. His right arm would take position behind him, lowered to around his waist.

Then he would begin to bounce around, much like a boxer would. His body would make small alterations as he did so, but he would keep this similar poise. His feet never actually lift of the ice as he moves, but rather skim across it, also they would never exceed their current spacing as if he had some sort of invisible rope connecting them.

This stance allowed for three things: First it would give him rhythm, always the useful trait for fighters. He would perform his actions as if they were dance moves, each motion flowing into the next seamlessly. Second, it would severly reduce the posibility of telegraphed moves. Since his entire body was constantly changing, should he decide to launch out an attack, it would appear to flow out of his "dance". He could strike anytime, anywhere from his stance without any real tell-tell prerequisite motions. Finally, by positioning himself perpendicular to his opponant, he made himself a more difficult target. His profile was slim, making it easier for him to evade should he have to while being able to strike at the much larger area that his opponant would present to him.

Anyhow...

Seeing how his opponant was kind enough to set this whole situation up, Dash figured the least he could do was cease denying him the fight he desired. Dash would strike first.

Flowing from his "dance", the first step would be him shifting towards his opponant, keeping his orientation as he would "glide" over the ice, using his right leg to nudge him forward. His left leg would then shoot low, aiming at the front of Drake's right shin. His target wasn't really high, so he didn't lift his right leg more than a few, just enough to clear Drakes foot.

"Mi... Mi... Miser....Misery... Agony and Misery, resonance overwhelming..."

Drake would actually be developing a sort of distraction within his mind as The Celestial felt the control of Agony within the Stadium; too close Misery was being born of these 'bad vibrations' which Agony seemed to resonate. Drake had been long gone to tell the truth, however, the Celestial would lose that title this day and become the Unknown.

An Unknown ascended once more?

Corrupt.

Either way, there was nothing major besides the holding of the head whilst his opponent slid towards him; the stance being faux in nature just 'gave way' and allows for the pushing and to Misery's surprise it hurt to fall on the damn ice. Ice... Felt cold...

Amazed, Misery would not stand back up, his ankle did not throb for he had little nerves at this point; however the Unknown seemed to have a higher form of Grid within his mind, multilayered on many accounts thoughts and feelings surged within and without as he could feel something going on in the man abroad. Mental activity heightened a hundred fold and then hundreds more, something became apparent.

The Ocean was interfering.

Malice, Misery, Agony, and Epoch; the four Unknowns of Orgins long lost. He was now Misery, the Unknown of Hatred, the vile contempt within the world itself; a faint seemingly harmless glow would appear 'round his featurless body, the old body of the now 'replaced' Celestial as the anomaly really became an Anomaly.

Lying on the ground, the Celestial and the Unknown did battle within the mind of the being who was, for the time being, actually quiet shocked at the feelings it was.. feeling. There was no feeling before, no temperature, no pain, and yet here was something unreal. Writhing on the ground clenching where the stomach might be the being actually began to lose color or... Bleed. Yes, all within the ice, all over, dripping sickly as it moved, that black, the jet, it was leaving him forever as nothing replaced it.

Clear bodied, no organs, and somewhat strange, so was born on this day Misery Incomplete. Laying on its side, the genderless one looked up and tried to stand only to fall for the first few times (2), and then finally, it stood, no stance, and cocked its head to the left at the man. No signs of anything to add emotion with its head clear and transparent, the visage only showed a few signs of being there as well as obvious defractions of light which hit and passed through. Not a stealthy creature, no, its presence was obvious, but quite a newer and even tougher foe.

Drake, the monk, was gone.

The Celestial with him.

There was now Misery.

Reverberations from places unknown would be made into the air as the newborn would become stable and able to fight; still with the strength of a slightly lesser being, about a Celestial actually, maybe even less, maybe even human, it stood and made its first vocalization.

"Hello."

It sounded cheery, harmless even, as this being, 6' in height, though that seemed to fluctuate at times as it was still an unstable being, offered its left hand in a handshake. A trap? Most likely; after all, Misery loves company.

Now, standing about 4 feet since the Celestial had slid that far, there was nothing to fear, Misery was indeed here. No foot steps either, nothing, just that extended appendage awaiting the grasp of an opponent. The death of one and rise of another meant nothing in this tournament; the fight was still on, and with that the being was more than ready to cause some harm.

Newborn, faster, weaker but more than able, shapeshifitng, and fiendish. Here was the enemy, and so where was Dash? The shin did not ache further, for pain was something of the past and the future, it was gone, but it might return. We'll see.

Donald smirked, then he had only one other option. He increased the ammount of Aura energy he was putting in, and the force he was pushing down with. But, this would have more than one positive effect. Since he could raise the level substantially almost instantly. And Pure Aura energy was indeed the strongest form of " Kai" but also the most dangerous. For the enemy, and the caster. Thats why Donald was using it through a medium, the onyx blade.

He then, without letting loose the scythe, or the aura energy, which was still increasing, Donald stamped on the ice by Reiko. And kept pushing down, now harder than ever. He was getting a little tired, but nothing compared to what Reiko should be feeling right about now. Specially if he wasnt dressed for the cold. It was really starting to freeze. Donald was glad his shirt was insolated.

Now, the finisher.

The ice below Reiko would also start cracking. Because of the two forces coliding. He would go under, and would most likely freeze.

"Its not to late to give up.." He said. Not wanting to talk to much.

Then he extended his arm.

Dash smiled, his expression seemed to match that of his "new" opponant.

He would retain his this "cheery" composure as he would close the distance between them by walking towards the man.

He extends his his right arm as if to shake.

He would make his move then.

Dash wasn't a fool by any means, and no way was he about to get all buddy buddy with the person who tried to freeze him on various occassions. If this were a trap, he wouldn't fall for it, if it weren't, well, Dash would still be at an advantage.

The moment his hand comes in contact with the "Friendly" opponant, the first thing Dash would is jerk it suddenly forward and off to Drake's right. This would no doubt through the man off balance from the sudden shift in weight due to Dash's forceful tug.

In one continous motion, Dash will step past Drake's right , placing his own right foot behind Drake's. so that his back was to the right side of Drake's body. His right hand would still have firm hold of his foe's as well as keeping it extended to continue throwing off his balance as Dash slips under the arm.

Now, Dash brings up his left arm, wrapping it over Drake's extended right and securing the upper arm portion under his left armpit and finally wrapping around it firmly.

Now, with the man's arm locked in place, Dash will shift his body weight in conjuction with stretching Drake's Right arm to apply a massive pressure to the join there, and hopefully, if the whole "Transformation" ordeal didn't decieve him, cause him great pain.

The end positioning would leave Drake forced into a bending position with is upper body at a 90 degree angle towards the ground due to the weight of Dash's body being applied while the man would generally be off balance. Dash, would be off to Drake's right side, his right hand still clasped over the Drake's while his left is constantly applying pressure to his upper arm region. He would be virtually unreachable by Drake's still free left arm and should Drake try to move his feat, Dash would use the sudden Shift in Drake's wait to unbalance him and force him to a possibly much worse situation on the ground.

The entire motion had no breaks in it, and is performed smoothly suddenly starting from the point where he tugged Drake violently towards him.

It would only take little over a second to perform this action.

Mistake.

The clasping of the hand, regardless of the tug that would follow, was the first that occured. And with it, the twisting of the wrist almost a complete 180 degrees so quickly that once he pull occured and all he had planned would be set in motion, he'd have a broken wrist. How so? He had grabbed Misery's left, which could indeed go the opposite way as needed, to Dash's right. His elbow did move a bit, however, he wasn't as pathetic as he would seem since he planned for the tug.

What did he do instead? He jumped moving his sliding feet off further perpendiular to the direction he was going right even more. The change and shift would cause his opponent to most likely fly with him and probably lose balance; for when expecting, he had of course planned to keep his feet on the ground and dug in. Nevertheless, a most likely broken wrist accompanied by the slamming into ice would probably undo his opponent quickly.

A second was simply too long.

He would land on the ice on his feet and slide a bit, and if he was released, fine, if not, then his opponent would be coming; however he might be anyway since letting go of the most probably broken wrist was not an option. If anything, his opponent would be dazed allowing for the grabbing of a better target. Still, one armed men weren't too able in combat.

[ Wrist Breaking Motion ]

Flipping your right hand more than 120 degrees in less than a second ( about 20 milliseconds; I did ithe angular motion and timed the motion again in real life, so, its quite legit. ) The chance that would would get past the pain is... Unreal. Adrenaline activation however is quite allowed.

| Proof |

Take your hand and turn it as far as you can comfortably while keeping the thunb and pinky parallel to eachother and the hand itself perpendicular ( skinny side? ) to the floor. If you can turn it more than 120 degrees its amazing, now, imagine that happening in 2/10ths of a second with an additional 60 degrees. Bending your elbow in response would take just that, response, and the action would be much too quick for someone who has another plan in mind. At least the collecting of, changing, and then accepting data. However, the natural reflex is to twist with your hand I do believe. Still, two tenths is hard to react to when you have other plans, again, its 'surprise' sort of seeing as you moved into something else.

[ The Diversion ]

Due to your pulling as well as his not lifting his feet and the ring not being completely slippery as well his jumping to throw you off would seem doable. However, the positions you attempted would be interrupted with pain; if not, then this needs to be edited severly due to your left hand never 'touching' him since your wrist most likely broke.

[ Conclusion ]

I would think your wrist broken, however, its questionable depending on what you do at this point.

Dash's wrist would not break, and he would continue with his motion, why? Well, It is physically impossible for someone to grab the inside of someone's left hand with their own right. Unless they made a conscious effort to twist it unnaturally. That would just be dumb. Dash would grab the OUTSIDE of Drake's left hand with his right. In order to break it in the manner he described, Drake would have to rotate his left wrist outwards 180 degrees. While you can rotate your wrist inwards to a great extent, you couldn't do so in the opposite direction, that is, if Drake still intended to rotate his wrist opposite to Dash's. If this was the case, Dash would still pull Drake towards him, only both their palms would be facing upwards And Drake would still be pulled off balance because there would be no breaking action to produce pain And cause Dash to lose focus. If Drake intended to rotate his wrist inside, (which is what I will assume.) Then he wouldn't be rotating his wrist opposite of Dash's at all, they would be moving the same direction, and in that case, Drake would be off balance because, like stated before, no harm would come to his wrist.

However, either twisting motion would result in Dash abandoning his original Plan and step towards Drake's left. He'd release Drake's arm shortly after tugging him and strike with his left elbow aimed directly between Drake's exposed shoulder blades as he passed. The momentum from Dash's rotation followed by the current state of Drake's balance should provide the necessesary means to knock Drake onto the ground, face first.

Dash had indeed forgotten that of human strength did not make you human. The hand could indeed do such things, however, there was no pursuit of the case. To that end, the 'wrist' which would consist of bones which were non-existant within the body would not break. How could they? They weren't even there? No ligaments and the like, the being would be pulled forward without the pain that was supposed to be induced. He did still jump to the side, which was going to aid seeing as now there was the issue of his just flying past his opponent.

Turning around they had both missed eachother indefinitely; the elbow hit nothing, and Misery was about 3 feet out after sliding and the like. He was not caught by surprise since Dash had taken the time, which was crucial, to attempt to break the wrists of something that did not have them. So then, what of the hand?

In truth, it swiveled completely with the twist and nothing more.

Now for an attack, the being would make a knifehand position with his left and thrust this at Dash's sternum, his right hand was there ready for back up and open, and his feet moved in one swift motion forward with the right and left pushing forward in a small hop and the rest being force of the slide as well as the left thrust.

This occured about 7" from Dash.

Ray sighed, sitting on the hood of the semi-truck, her hands in her lap. All she could do was wait, and watch, wait and watch. If either of her teammates lost, it'd be her turn.

She'd face Mekryd, only if they lost, IF.

Leaning against the window shield she'd cross her arms over her chest and continue on watching.

Wiffing his elbow, Dash decided to follow through with the motion, bending his knees and now crouching low.

Now, although both had wiffed their attacks, Dash's rotation had left him facing his opponants back as they "flew past" each other. In order for his opponant to attack him with the knifehand from his left, he would have to not only stop his forward moment created by the tug, and his jumping, he would also have to turn around.

This would leave Dash at an advantage. Dash was not moving in any direction, just rotating his body in place. He would complete his rotation, following through with the elbow motion and ceasing perpendicular to his opponant who would just now be stopping and turning to face him.

Then there was the knife hand.

Since Dash was positioned sideways, his left side to his foe, All he had to do was tilt slightly so that the sternum strike, (Now much too high and off to the side, given where Dash's sternum would be had he still been standing straight up and facing parallel to the Drake), would pass by harmlessly.

At last, an openining.

Using Drake's forward momentum from his sliding action and the thrust of his hand, Dash positioned his self so that his right hand would reach up and grab Drake's left as it passed over head. He'd push his entire body upwards, leaving his left shoulder sligly above his right so that given the situation, Drake would simply be tossed over him. His left arm would aid in this action by pressing against Drake's left side as well.

Mekryd just lay back in the ppowder, looking hardly proffesional in his movements. He'd done what he could for the moment, and he'd been flagged. Ah, whatever. So long as he didn't get another flag, it was okay, and only affected his record, not his team's. If both these matches were wins or even if they were both losses, or if Seta finally friggen showed up, Mekryd wouldn't have to fight. He wasn't really opposed to the idea, but he was a bit wary of breaking rules again, as he had just done.

Pain?!

The crack in the ice was actually decently 4" in all directions as well as the indentation which was about 2" deep from Misery's impact; he had indeed been flung and landed on his "head", however standing there would be no outward signs of damage. Inwardly however the Unknown would groan slightly, faceless and turning towards the opponent wiping powered snow and chunks of ice off his head there would be little mercy from here on. However, time was almost up, and that would mean a shameful loss? Or a tie? No. There had to be a way.

Standing about 5 feet off after being thrown and sliding the cloud of snow disappated movement would be slightly more or less cautious. Yes he could have countered, but no, he needed something to counter against. It was but 5 feet. Too far. One step at a time, firm and unsliding, hands at his sides swaying, he would begin walking closer to his opponent.

There would be no stoppping either, whatever was going to happen was going to happen now. This was indeed most likely the end of this match; one would emerge victorious; so said The Ocean.

You better be damned sure that the Unknown wasn't going to let his opponent win.

The approach continues.

Standing about 5 feet...

He would be 5 feet off, had Dash actually released the man's arm during the throw. However, that would not be the case. The whole act of "flipping" over would not cause him to relinquish his grip. His right would still be grasped firmly onto Drake's left arm, just above the wrist. Once he felt Drake's weight shift from being lifted off the ground, Dash would immediately twist the arm, attempting to force Drake onto his back, so when he landed on his head, it and more importantly, his left shoulder would towards Dash's right leg.

Dash also knew he had little time to spare, and now he would attempt to end this fight.

His right leg rose sharply, while his left arm moved around to grab hold of Drake's left as well, keeping it firmly stretched and in place.

There was a green spark, a hiss, and if all things went well, a SLAM!

Dash would strike his right foot down between Drake's head, and his right shoulder, aiming at the spot where the shoulder joint would meet arm. Having his previous attempt at broken bones fail, Dash figured that the only way he could do any real damage, was to rend the limb unusable.

He would not only put a good portion of his body weight into the "stomp", but he added some of his own ki to provide enough force to hopefully crush the joint all together, or at the very most, remove it completely.

Dash would not hesitate with this action and would set his move into motion the moment Drake's head hit the ice.

Much higher systems and this new scenario allowed for a new outlook. The pain would subside quickly and thus focus would return to the world and logic would become prevalent again. The foot. The mistake.

The right hand reached over and indeed caught this foot which was to slam into Misery's shoulder. The being contorted to the right as well as moved up with its legs pushing decently so that the area aimed for was missed and instead it would be a chest. But, there he was, his foot in the palm of the one who would indeed not fail to snap this one.

The green energy was an increase, it was somewhat refreshing and painful at the same time, but pinpricks would not break the grasp which was already squeezing a little too hard for comfort. And then the action.

Twisting his own hand 180 degrees while holding the foot caught tightly so that his fingers were rapped around it tightly, the midsection of course, the movement would be just as quick as the other attempt.

Did he really think it would be that easy?

He got his slam, but, the crack was so much more satisfying.

The left arm, what did it do? Of course it moved again, however for some reason Misery would not rise; it would let itself rest... Or so it seemed.

The right hand reached over and indeed caught this foot which was to slam into Misery's shoulder...

There would be a problem with this manuver, seeing how the two of them were positioned, Dash was still in the finishing manuever of his throw, meaning his body was perpendicular to Drake, right side facing him.

Dash would reach over to grab Drake's arm with his right, but not rotate his body to do so, meaning he couldn't possibly be standing directly over Drake.

So?

Well, in order for Dash's stomp to hit its intended target, between Drake's head and shoulder, he would have to stomp at an angle and not straight down.

Now, for Drake to do what he did, he would have to somehow shift his entire body along the ice so that when he reached his arm from the right side of his body, his hand would stop between his shoulder and directly beneath Dash's foot (which was not traving in a level path, when you're stomping at an angle, you usually lead with the heel.). He would then have to rotate his wrist backwards to "catch it levely and hold it in a firm grip to perform his manuever.

He'd have to do all of this the moment his head came into contact with the ice as by then, all Dash would have had to do was apply the downward force to crush the joint.

Dash's downward stomp was not only aided by his body weight, but gravity, and his ki as well, not to mention the distance between his foot and Drake's shoulder would be much less than the distance between Drake's right arm and his own left shoulder. So, Drake would have to be moving incredible fast to reach Dash's foot in time.

And if he were this fast, the momentum created by him swinging his arm at such speeds would not possibly allow him to catch Dash's foot, but instead deflect it at most, assuming the sideward momentum were not simply overcome with Dash's stomping force and caused Drake's hand to be crushed as well as his shoulder. He'd have to be insanely strong to push up Dash's stomping foot with simply one arm and prevent this.

Anyhow, Dash notices the hand strike his foot and he misses his target. Dash releases the arm and moves backwards a few steps, to allow for his opponant to stand.

There wasn't much time...

One final massive assault; the man who did the most would be the winner. With that in mind there was no time, there would only be the rapid accumulation of forces within and without the being that would make this battle end quickly without fail. Hyperion. This would be quite an interesting moment. Lightning fast and furious combat would take place. This was it.

A shell of energy would form, invisible it would act like a forcefield whilst energy was transformed and shifted into and through the body which he was using. The movements of winds thousands of miles away would contribute, the sun itself would seem to disappear as the light would become taken and the planet Gaia would grow pitch black. The temperature would be converted as the world went cold as well. Energies from motors, and other eletrical man made devices would shut down.

Factories, cities, no countries would literally be in a state of panic as planes within the air as well as helicopters and other machinery would simply lose power; gliding without the wind was impossible. Death was immiment for many people. It would seem the end of the world had come; however it was but Misery. Who could very well bring about such an end, but, would do nothing of the sort.

Then it started to get seriously ugly. Light, all photonic energies, were drawn to him making him the only visible thing in the world; even the ice lost its energies and solidified further than it already was; the atomic molecules in various places slowed to a halt; ground zero hit the equivalent for "Antartica" for the world as itfroze over. Another Ice Age ushered in by the desire of one?

Like a beacon in the night the light too bright for even higher beings, the Unknown began working its way into the very reality of it all; The Grid stopped. The small coordinates of energies were being drawn in, insanely powerful now the energies from stars clear across the universe was traversing to the sold location of it all. No heat, no limits. The very pulse of The Grid's lines was being absorbed; he was tearing apart the universe to win! Insanity had indeed taken over Misery, and for the first time, this threat would go insane. However it would not be the last time.

THe inner workings of it all, no movement since "time" was controlled by the working of The Pulses within there would be an interesting sight as all things seemed to just turn into green extremely odd wireframes of themselves. Nothing was the same as stars began to simply disappear, black holes just gone, and with them all of the energy within was taken back by the Unknown.

Radiating the essense of everything The Grid and the movements within would begin again, so stood the being, no stance, nothing special, the only thing visible for galaxies. One final burst for it before this tournament was over; this was Hyperion. There was no sound, but if you looked closely you could see something. Facial features!

The Unknown was there in the flesh! It was finally defeatable and no longer an avatar! It was not transparent and thus it would be vanquished should the heart of one warrior prove strong enough to stop him. Would it though? The shield was lowered as the pillar of light made its way through all things lighting up the lake below as well as the ice and the area for miles around. Like Heaven almost, it was so surreal; all things pure white, all but Dash and Misery.

The Lake was seemingly no more as the world began to wipe itself away in the light, it submitted to the will of the Unknown, and thus there was nothing more than thsoe two. He did not move; no reason to. Thus cities and mortal from miles around would stare into the horizon at that one point; the point of Glory and The Unknown. Misery had the eyes of millions and Misery loves company as they say.

"We have come this far mortal, we have indeed made our moves. Enough games. One last shot at it all. Gather your energies and let us clash one more time. One. More. Worry not, you will live. So says the Ocean."

Airy and somewhat distinct while being plain and yet enigmatic. The tone of voice was that of a males and then it would switch to a femals and back to a males in a slurring and rhythmic fashion. And so here it was, the end.

Who will prevail?

[ 16 ]

141Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash smirks. The being before him had created quite the show. Now, all distractions were removed and it was just the two of them.

Dash would hear Drake's proposal, and think for a moment to himself.

Hmm..... should I?

Dash knew that in order to face the being on somewhat equal grounds, he would have to set his pride aside and use the strongest of his techniques. A technique that he has only used twice in all his lifetime, once during training and once during...

Looks like I've no choice...

"Allright, if you insist, pal. Let's give the masses something to remember."

Then the "ground" beneath his feet would tremble slightly in the typical manner. Green strands of reticulating energy would emit from his feet and spiral up his body. The act would repeat it self. Once, twice, three times! The strands became thicker, forming ribbons, ropes, and finally thick bolts of what resembled lightening. His aura would flare about him wildly, as if they were serpants trying to free themselves from the inferno that was Dash.

He took on a brilliant hue, washing his surroundings in his emerald beauty.

Then something snapped.

His green glow started to bear slight traces of red. His aura started to become "tainted" and corrupt by the new force that was starting to take control. In a matter of seconds, the intense electrical storm occuring in Dash's area would give way to a cyclone of crimson energies.

He had opened his inner flood gates. He intended to hold nothing back.

His eyes settled on his target as the storm that was his spirit began to condense tightly around his very body, prepping itself for what would be his final attack.

"Go."

And with that, Dash launched himself foward. His aura increased exponentionally in size, consuming Dash's body in a massive surge of power, and determination.

Those who knew Dash knew him as a spirited and cocky individual. Never the one to back down from a challenge, and never the one to fear an opponant or even deem them out of his league. He was sure of himself and his abilities and didn't hesitate to tell others about how "great" he was. Well, if you were to take this man's ego and turn it into a sheer destructive force, this would be it.

He would approach his foe in the form of a fiery red meteor of energy, had they still been on the lake, this attack probably would have consumed everything in their general area.

Dash pressed on, nothing else seemed to exist at the moment. It was just him, and the "anomoly".

((17))

142Imagination Unleashed

"..."

His final manuveur began.

Stage 1: Preparation

The being took note of all this energy and al lthings however there was nothing to fear for when the 'meteor had come there would be only one thing, up. The movement upwards would allow time to recalculate the sheild of the area and protect those who were still within the vacinity in 'bubbles' which allowed for his final move not to harm anyone. That was the plan, and now action.

First the shields went up around the people who would feel themselves tingle and shimmer to eachother as a white aura overtook them regardless of how they felt; being regular people they would not be harmed in anyway, this of course worked for the other fighters as well on the lake who would again not be effected by the attacks and stages which were about to perhaps recreate the planet altogether. Nothing more from the protection since they were adequately protected from Armageddon itself.

Next knees would bend easily and with a little 'hop' the sound barrier was broken without any kind of effort. Positioning itself the very lake and the ice which rested upon it followed the being as jets of water and broken shards of ice followed from the sheer force of the anomalies sudden change in motion. Inertia disobeyed the entire lake would be hit with large waves whilst the center would be in the air in these geysers by more than fifty feet. Timed in accordance to Dash's release, the first move was one of evasion so as to prevent any kind of 'recoil' from such a risky movement.

Soaring into the air, or whatever this was, literally thunderclaps and sonic booms would be made in Misery's wake which would cause his opponent and his opponent only immeasuerable amounts of pain from being so close to the blast. Feet passed and the light only rose into the sky like a star wishing to return itself to the celestial heavens. However, this was no wishing star where dreams came true; this was a nightmare of force mixed with unadulterated hatred preparing for the collision of the century.

This was just the beginning.

Stage 2: Ignition

On the outside of the atmoshpere the world would again be fiddled with by the planar master who wanted nothing more than to destroy it all; the atmosphere would dissipate over the area completely for about ten miles so as to prevent it from catching on fire or simply combusting and exploding into some sort of volitile planet mutulation force. No, this was meant for Dash and Dash alone. Blue eyes took in the world below as gridlines of white, red, green, and purple became apparent. All four did indeed mean something however this was no simple grid, the infinitely shrinking squares were stopped along with the energies and pulses that ran along them. However Unknowns did not obey the pulses and thus were free of this 'time' and only followed that of the Chronological Plane which The Ocean controlled.

The left hand, the pointer finger, oh that glorious loving symbol of destruction. In truth invisble strands would begin to weave around the very focal point of the line which was seemingly appearing and being drawn into reality; like a LED it would simply point out the absolute position of the tip of his opponents nose. Accuracy without question the energies which were winding around that point suddenly seemed to stick to it. From here would be the first of the three.

The beam, invisible and quite undetectable, launched agasint an opponent who was within a non-moving grid, would be fired but not move further; once The Grid was started once more it would indeed become a force to be reckoned with as what appeared as DNA strands would make their way down towards the man below shattering speeds of Mach 8 or more. Insanely this was but a taste, a little, and with that the blast was left in its stasis awaiting The Release.

Stage 3: Confirmation

Darting through this frozen wasteland of a world speeds easily exceeding sound were travelled as friction and other effects of the world were frozen indefinitely whilst he planned his assault. Energies around his opponent that were latent and left within the air or let off by his own aura were to be collected and moved as the being landed on a platform invisible to the naked eye; the crown of Absolute Power resting upon his head he would do more than one thing with all these energies whilst playing around with reality itself.

Fixating the probablility of Dash's death to zero percent Dash would indeed live through this entire ordeal however he might not be too... Healthy. However he would not die, that was guarenteed for three days; Dash would not die. Why? Becasue there was a difference between malevolence and stupidity; he needed his opponent alive for what he wished to do.

Win.

The energies would be gathering and circling around the enemy within his mind and positioning within the grid would take place on the Purple Grid as perfect and Holy Geometry was brought to bare and points of asbolute power were made apparent. There between it all, waves of energy lined up awaiting the event of the century for Gaia itself as well as all the spectators.

Lines and rows of seven and seventy seven showed up around points on Dash's body; joints, all of them, his chest, his back, every single muscle inch would be targetted by these lines and waves which would be released soon enough...

Stage 4: Rectfication

Misery would blink, blue eyes looking upon the being known as 'Dash', and wit hthat he would do nothing more. Mental strain was too great to hold all four Grids like this and so release was made; however a silence was made for that of Dash, for if he did get hit, if he did suffer any of it, he would be simply shattered. Live, but, possibly never fight again.

Then there was one thought...

"Release."

Stage 5: Conclusion

The Grid began moving once more and with it the being, the anomaly, would appear upon the ground. which would worship the being never touching him. Never. The water which he floated abouve acting like a fountain as he 'dimmed' a bit and stopped shining with all his might and glory. For now it was, the battle of the wills. Struggling against the mind of the Mortal the Unknown would stab at and then into Dash's mind repeatedly once it broke through.

Of course now here it was, the energies which had been placed with care would collide into the man suddenly without warning. Waves and waves of Cosmic, Celestial, Inner, Outer, Physical, Mental, and Unknown energies would slam into the being instantly without mercy at every spot within his body. He would live, but, it would be uncomfortable.

The beam also took its toll; fired from the heavens it would slice through and shields as that is what it was designed for; slicing. It would shatter the mind, making insanity prevalent and coherent thought impossible for quite some time. All that and the perfect coordinates were locked and the beam would indeed follow until it hit slicing through all other things.

Misery had lived up to its name.

Then there was one more thing; placing the hands together the rest of the light would eminate from the center core of the Unkown. Going transparent again after ascension the light and all with it would dry up a good portion of the lake and purify it and all people within the area; those with taint were cleansed and renewed. However, one would not be blessed.

Dash would suffer the sins, the thoughts and lecherous feelings of the men of the world. All of these things, murders, rapes, acts unimaginable, all would flood the mind of the being. All which caused misery. He would have wished for death, for while the body might heal, he would know of all things dark about all of these people; sin upon sin would weigh his soul down, his very being would falter, and that was all.

The rivers of energy would disappear as the sky returned and the world reawoke from its temporary slumber. That day many would never forget and generations would know for eons to come. This was...

Dash versus Misery

Ray said, jumping from the semi-truck's hood, her feet barely touching the floor as she ran toward donald with her body lowered she'd keep her stance low, like a football player, once close enough, she'd skid to a stop, and push her feet off the ground throwing herself at Donalds side, her shoulder would be the first to hit his side, then her body would collapse into the tackle.

She would possably fall onto Donald had the strike worked, and push off her feet running away and out of their fight once more.

Donald wouldent waste anymore energy on keeping Reiko there. He wasnt holding back energy, so he decided to use his second shadowlock on him. To get this match going somewhere. Their shadows were touching, so it pretty much worked automaticly. Donald then, heard something..And sensed something. He pretended not to notice, and pretended to be focusing still on Reiko, but he had twisted the scythe around, so the blade was facing Ray. When she was in range, Donald hopped to the left, and held out the scythe shaft. Shed crash into it, breaking her shoulder most likely, Since Donald had swung it like a bat.

He then, looked back at Reiko, who should have copyed Donalds actions, he may or may not have smashed Ray with his fist. Donald then would wait to see what Reiko did. He would need twice is much will power to break free. This was shadowlock stage two. He only could use that move once more this match. He smiled inwardly, victory was in reach. Though, he still feared a loss. She has used the last striker she could though. So, things felt good.

Reiko: " Well he says he's keeping it on me right? He "shadow locked" me or..whatever from naruto meaning I have to mimic his moves.

If he's turning to staff Ray in the chest (and she is tackling him right?), how is he keeping it on me and accepting force from another direction while addressing it the surprose striker attack (from the side) as well?

Thats all.

Right. That makes sense.

Donald, could you edit your post? You'd either have to move your entire body to position the scythe with it's butt end to block the striker, which I'm assuming, or take the hit in the side where the angle of the striker would come from, and the length of the scythe's haft would be, an odd and insufficient way to block a charge.

Either way, you're going to have to incorporate the force of the running tckle into your post.))

Should Donald look down he'd know how it was it was all possible. Donald planned something drastic. As he flew into the air, a pentagram appeared under Reiko. Reiko wouldnet notice, since it started the second he was pushed upwards. It was made of Reikos shadow. Donald put his hands infront of his face, pretending to be in great pain. And, in the instant it was made, it drained the Ki energy right out of Reikos body. Taking about a 10th of his total energy every second. And doubling in strength every second. So, a example. The second it was created it drained a tenth of his energy. And Reiko wouldent feel anything. In second number two, it drained a twentyith. So, add it up. He had lost thirty percent of his total Ki.

Donald kept going in the air, till he needed to do something. He had reached the peak of his time in the air. And was coming down fast. The second he would hit the ground, he would shadowstep. So gracefull, it would look as if he had died. He would appear above Reiko. In a pine tree. Now. Even if it had only lasted for two or three seconds. And Reiko somehow noticed what his shadow was doing, Donald would be able to overpower him. And finally get a hit in. And be declared the winner.

He took a second to charge. He was slightly tired. But not to tired. His expertise was in energy controll. And he still had alot of magical energys left. And ofcourse, Agony never ran out of Aura attack fuel. And Albia's former body had a constant flow of Aura energy.

And Donald, had quite a bit of shadowmancy energy left. He was in good shape. Except for his ribs. He needed another cig. He took one out, and put it between his lips. It lit itself..and he started to feel the pain leave him for a moment. He was feeling revitalized already. "s**t..after this ill need a doctor."

He was thinking aloud to himself, but not loud enough to for Reiko to hear. Reiko had to keep charging. He had to seal the deal. And Donald was charging aswell. Charing to that scythe blade. He was going to have to hit Reiko hard. Best case scenario, Reiko would pass out from energy loss. This move he was using was half os his diffusion zone he used to kill Ertai Vexic. But he couldent inact the whole diffusion zone. That took more time then he had. The clock was ticking, and this battle was almost over.

Pupu energy is infinite. However, "sparks" did fly from his feet as if to play out the constant battle between his ki being drained and him being constantly refilled.

Furthermore, there would be no shadow stepping into Reiko's shadow. He was emitting light all over. There'd be none created by him.

Back to the attack. A second before Donald hit the ground, Reiko thrust out his hands to save him.

Wait no.

He'd thrust out his hands into Donald's body, slamming a ton of force into him, to send him flying far back into a tree. If there would be any broken bones or anything, Reiko would think nothing of it. If Donald could get back up, there'd just be more beatdown needed.

Reiko had miscalculated. Donald had stepped in his own shadow, the instant he hit the ground. So Reiko wouldent lay a hand on him. And he landed in the tree. He grabbed a bottle of vodka. He knew nothing was working. And he and Reiko would end up in a draw. Unless the judges ruled in his favor for having Reiko down for so long. Otherwise it would end in a stallmate. He couldent have that. And he knew what he was about to do wouldent do much. But, Luckily. Reiko was close enough to the ice for this to be a chance for victory.

Donald looked at the bottle. It was labled. "XXX" Donald took a huge, huge mouthfull. And held the bottle in his right hand. Sheating his scythe behind him. He jumped down, and looked at Reiko. Who didnt seem to notice him yet. He would do something else first.

He sparked a shadowflame with his right hand, and spit. The flame would melt the snow around him, and his enemy was close enough to the ice that ice near him would melt, and he would most likely fall into the ice. And then Donald would win. Donald , instead of quitting, used his left hand that was holding the XXX bottle and threw it at Reiko. They were about two feet away from each other. And, the shadow fire was as hot as lava. Perhas a bit hotter. When the bottle was infront of him, Donald would blow fire on it, causing it to explode. Bits of glass would go all over Reiko. This was a ninja moltov cocktail. Though Donald wasnt a ninja, he had fought all kinds of fighters.

And thats where he learned this technique. If Reikos body wasnt in enough pain from the flames, he would be pissed when the explosion went on. It would knock his enemy back. Since the surface was slippery. And it would push him into the lake. This could be enough for Donald to win.

((Some points to consider. I was going on the fact that you wouldent notice me come out of the tree so sneaky. And.. Even if Reiko saw, the attack would come in less than a second, since Donald was already prepared. Shadowflame is much hotter than regular fire. And it has a high energy content, so enough would over power the Ki.

And.

The fact that this was a great match..and its almost over.))

While Donald was in the tree, Reiko took off his hoodie and tossed it far back onto the the ice away from the area they fought in. When it landed it would create a loud crashing sound and crush the ice to the point where he couldn't just walk over and get it back anymore. It'd be too thin and he'd fall in.

Anyway.. 2ft wasnt far. 2ft was well within arm's reach, and 2ft would mean face to the face for the second yellow Reiko connected to the real one by one foot ... and he would... well...

keep the bottle into Donald when he spat his shadowflame. Leaving explosion to impact directly in his face and upper torso. The shadowflame may not have hurt Donald, but the force of the explosion would. Donald smirked, as Reiko put the bottle towards him, He jumped back, but not stopping the flow of fire. So the bottle still exploded. But. Donald had to do something crazy now. He couldent do it before, because it was deadly. Specially to Reiko, who was a heavy Ki energy fighter. "Nice knowing ya. See ya when you wake up." Donald smirked, as the bottle went off, Knocking him back. He again, used the ice to slide. He closed his eyes.

Phase one: Infection.

Donald smiled as Agony glew bright, sending strands of pure aura energy out. As it started to taint. Though, noone could see this but Donald. It would infest Reikos energy, making it like poison to him. Since he says he has a constant ammount, and he was making alot of it. It would infect him. And make it like poison. So, if he didnt stop charging it he would pass out. And he would wake up to whats like a exagerated version of food poisoning.

And the energy he was putting out was equal to the energy he was making. Since really, Donald didnt have to do much. Agony was. He took another puff of his cig.

Phase two: Take over. With the touch of the energy, the Ki would change instantly. No charge time or anything. Reiko wouldent even notice the change, untill the physical effects took place. Which would be instant aswell. Reiko would fall to his knees, and scream in pain. Most likely he would pass out. And he wouldent even know why.

Phase three: Victory.

Donald couldent have done this sooner, or he would have. Since it was a danger to Reiko's life. Donald, to seal the deal stood infront of Reiko. If he just stopped charging energy as to avoid death, Donald would step forward and give him a blow to the skull from his automail right hand, and then a shot to the chin with a shadowflamed left hand.

So. This was his last move. If it worked as planned, Donald would meerly retreat as not to be hit when he couldent hit back. He would just jump far away.

(Finish.)

Reiko boosted off his foot towards Donald, any force that would possibly be resisting Reiko was already absorbed for him by his second. He was much faster now, and pushing off with ki would make him faster than those times before when he closed in on Donald to hit him.

This time specificly though, he'd charge with his body lowered. Letting himself and Donald slide in the same direction. Reiko, in front, looking up at Donald to see if he could catch his eye the eye of his prey before destroying him.

Then, Reiko would launch off both feet with his fist extending up to "rip" vertically from the low part of Donald's torso up to impacting with his chin. A spring uppercut.

(( Huzzah.... ))

Mekryd stretched, sighing a bit, though he didn't move from his place with his trunk against the tree. He'd been there for a while, and he was just starting to get comfortable. Ah, oh well...

"Hup!" Mekryd swung himself up onto his feet with the help of his staff and stretched a bit more. He pushed his headband, and consequently, his hair, up out of his eyes, showing a friendly pair of brown, quite different from the caclulating, darting look he had earlier.

After he completed the motions of stretching, he simply stood there, looking around, just shaking his head at Drake's brash motions. "Well, great. I can't do much for flashiness after that, can I?" Ah, well, it's not like he was a very conspicuous person in the first place...

"Alright, it's my turn now. Let's get this started."

She smiled, her hands pushing her sweater up over her waist, hooked to her belt was a pair of fingerless gloves, leather tight, latex rubber on the palm side.

She'd pull them off the hook, and pull them onto both her hands pulling the bottom to tighten them around her hands, soon her hands would be behind her head, a pinche' between her teeth, she'd pull her hair up into a ponytail, grab the pinche from her mouth, and tie her hair up, snapping the pinche once she finished.

Streching upward with a grunt, her body would now be were it needed to be. Were she and Mekryd would clash, Ray would like any other time, learn from this fight, and while doing so, she'd have fun. That was what this tournament was about. Good..clean..I mean...fun.

Smiling, Ray tilted her head to the side.

"Good luck to you, and may the best fighter win."

She nodded, soon sinking into a stance, her hands raising up to her torso.

their fight would begin, let's have some fun shall we.

((I'f I'm wrong I'll edit this.))

((1/17))

174Mekryd

Mekryd bowed lightly at the neck in responce.

"I'm sure you will," Mekryd said with an ironic smile on his lips. He twirled about his staff of crystal-wood experimentally, testing out its weight and balance. As usual, it was fine. He turned to face his left side towards his opponent. Snow scraped off of the ground as he spread his feet apart, leaning on his back leg whilst taking the center of the staff into his right hand.

With a flick of his wrist, the staff spun once, and then once more. On the second rotation, two inches of the staff on either end glowed. A third rotation followed. The tips left behind a trail of light, which seemed to solidify into the same material as the staff.

The result was a blunt scythe-like protrusion from either side pointing clockwise, around a foot from inside base to tip. It was noticeably more angled inward than a scythe, however.

Still with his legs spread, Mekryd raised his left hand, unclenched, with the palm facing parrallel to his body, elbows bent. The right hand swung the staff over his right shoulder, angling it slightly downward over his back, with the protrusion pointing backwards. "In this case, I believe I'll have to adhere to the phrase "Ladies first"."

(( 1/17 ))

175[Na no da]

"Such the gentlemen."

So it would be weapon against fist, that was fine with her.

she smiled happily, taking a slow step forward with her left foot, her heel raising off the snowed ground, her right foot pressed into the ground, heel raised as well.

Soon the slowed steps would become much quicker, closing the gap between her and her opponent.

Once she had become close enough, she'd spin in a complete circle droping low to the ground kicking out her left leg into the snow, her foot kicking up the snow that had freshly fallen onto the ground.

the snow would be flung toward his face as a blinding sort of move.

Ray would pop up off her feet , throwing a curved right straight toward his right shoulder.

She would press forward with her knees bent to put more strength into the hit.

((2/17))

176Mekryd

Mekryd's eyes tracked her as she ran up, up until the snow moved up into his eyes. He made a flinching motion, turning to the right as it did so, grunting annoyedly as he covered most of his face with his upper left arm. No revealing abilities unless he had to, and only then if he knew how she would react.

The was a small problem in her attack. One was that well, she was on the ground, and had to get back up. He straighted back into his stance as she did so, jerking his left hand back into position. She also punched at the shoulder farthest from her. The one with the staff slung over it.

With a small movement, Mekryd spun clockwise, flicking his staff over an inch or so on his shoulder and crouching on his right leg in the same motion. Her fist hit soundly against the crystaline surface of his weapon, providing additional leverage to his next action. With his shoulder as the fulcrum, the staff levered upwards towards Ray's upper body, aided in speed by Ray's own punch, the continuing spin of his body and Mekryd's own jerk to the staff, pulling it forward and downward.

Regardless of if he hit or not, he continued his spin until it carried him, facing his left side towards Ray, as it had from the start

(( Oi, someone said that we start the post counting when we actually attack, not just with stances and stuff, so...

1/17. Your last post was as well. ))

177[Na no da]

((I'm trying to stay active in Lu-Bu here, and eat at the same time, so please bare with me. ))

With her fist coliding into the staff, she'd grunt never losing her smile. She'd enjoy herself, no matter how beat up she'd gotten, or how much she'd be tracking behind, never the less she'd need a counter, or a strike. Did it matter, well of course.

She'd stand back after taking the hit, she seemed somewhat unphased by it, but that was all. No heavy breathing, and no lacking in stance.

With her eyes on him, she'd begin to move to her left, not toward him, but around him, her legs never crossing the other, her feet still raised off the floor.

She'd stop once half way around him, crouch down, and pick up some snow, molding it into a ball, breathing on it to make is moisten up, hardening it. And smile.

"It's cold."

She said standing up with the ball in her hand. She'd drop the ball, and look at him with a tilted head.

Before the ball could fall onto the ground, Ray would quickly turn to the side slightly, her upper body still facing him, her foot would swing out, and kick the hardend snow ball, sending it flying toward his torso.

((2/17))

((right? ^^;smilies/icon_wink.gif)

178Donald Tenebrae

Donald had jerked back, causing the punch to miss him. With the ice, it was easy to jerk, and turn it into a elegant slide. And Reikos attack had barely missed him.

Now it was up to the judges to decide who had won that match.

Donald sat on the edge, away from Mekryd and his opponet. Wrapping his chest where his ribs were cracked. Swearing under his breath. "st **** st ********..." Then, Violla. All better. Atleast, all covered. He had his scythe by his side. He took out another pain nuller. "Im doing to many of these. Damn Reiko." He put it in his mouth, and it lit itself. He stood up, and looked at the fight. Trying to stay warm. He had put on another shirt, a white collared shirt, and a scarf.

179Mekryd

(( I've noticed. smilies/icon_3nodding.gif I'm multi-tasking too, so it's all good. ))

Mekryd looked bemusedly at his opponent as she circled him. He shifted his legs so that he remained with his left side facing. He looked rather confused as she packed a snowball. What, was she going to peg him into submission?

Then, he noticed the motions to make it begin hardening.... great. So she did plan on pegging him, except with a hard snow ball. His left side offered the least target, so that was good. That, and he was already half-way to a batter's style position. So he quickly made up for that difference, bringing his left hand a few inches below his right onto the staff before angling it a bit higher upwards and turning to face her a slight bit more. He hopped to the side to dodge, but only then realized she was kicking it, not throwing it.

He had to suffice with a bunting motion, blocking the ice ball, which shattered and fell to the ground. "Well, great," Mekryd said.

His hands slid a bit farther apart, and he turned to face Ray full on, with turning so that the thumbs facing each other, spread about shoulders width apart, as were his feet. His muscles relaxed, and he smiled a bit, angling the staff's right edge towards the ground, scraping the snow with the tip of the scythe-like protrusion.

180[Na no da]

"Score!"

Ray grinned, seeing the ball break into many pieces.

"Bye bye snowman."

She looked back up at her opponent, it seemed like she was just playing around, not taking anything seriously. Why? Because thats what she felt like doing, playing.

But Reiko and Dash would yell at her for kidding around, so she had to go into a bit more then just playing around.

She'd make a run for it.

Pressing off the ground quickly, she'd leap into the air, bending her knees as she came back down toward him, her body leant back slightly , she'd aim for under his chin. Curling her foot upward .

Had the hit worked, she'd flip backward from the kick to his chin, and land on her feet just inches away.

(( 3/17))

181Mekryd

Mekryd raised an eyebrow at her actions, trying not to smile, though he didn't do much more, never moving from his stance. He was still here, and they were still in a match. He didn't move from his stance as she ran towards him, stoic in his fighting.

Her knee caught right onto his staff, which had still been held out at arms length since he had placed it there, effectively stopping the kick a few inches from his chin. Mekryd levered the staff downwards pushing the leg downwards quickly, before suddenly jerking his left hand back, sending his body to run with his right side facing her, and the scythe-like... thing behind her. He used this position to pull with his left hand even further, pulling her closer as if with a shepards hook, though they were on two different sides of the staff.

"Heya," he said, smirking, before jerking her forward once more with his left hand while extending his left leg, in a motion meant to trip her quickly.

((3/17, yeah...))

((Editted a few times for clarity and very bad grammar. Edited once more to put the end brackets on this OOC. ))

182[Na no da]

"Yo."

Ray said, her ear's pricking at the sound of his foot scrapeing against the snow, she's merely jump up a few inches off the ground to avoid being tripped, while doing so, she'd lean back, placeing her hands firmly onto the ground, lifting both her legs shooting toward his neck, she'd lock her legs at the ankle, and twist her upper body, as it would soon twist her lower body pulling down with her ankles to send Mekryd on to the ground along with her.

Had it worked, she'd just go from there.

(4/17)

((Wow it's late..yawns))

Mekryd left foot stopped where it was, which was right behind where Ray's feet had just been, and movement with the crook of the blunt scythe followed through with a slight pull upwards, pressing against her back as she bent backwards. This only kept her own momentum going, more or less causing her to flip onto her belly, rather than stop in mid-rotation to swing at him, unless she somehow counterbalanced it with supernatural means.

He kept the motion in the staff going, causing it to swiftly swing vertically one full circle in his left hand before he brought it gently to rest on the back of her neck. "So, how's your day been?"

(4/17)

184[Na no da]

Ray was no super being, so she had no way to counter the attack, by any supernatural way at least.

Ray would be thrown onto her stomach an 'umpf' coming out of her mouth.

One full swing was all she needed to roll off her stomach, and back onto her back, she'd just barely miss the staff's end, seeing as it dug into the snow.

She's push off her back, and get into a crouching posistion, before twirling her body, along with her leg to swing under his feet.

She'd be leaning away from him causing her leg to lift just slightly.

"My days been going great, what about yours?"

((5/17))

185[Na no da]

((Na no must sleep now, night night.))

186Mekryd

Mekryd rubbed the back of his head with his right hand looking on awkwardly as he watched her get up, without doing anything to stop her. "I guess I'll have to knock you out to win?" he said disappointedly, sounding like he didn't enjoy that sort of thing. He didn't.

The staff didn't dig into the snow, hovering a few inches above the ground still in his left hand, seeing as how he had moved it with the intention to stop it before it slammed into the back of her head. His right hand lowered from his head, taking the end of the staff, right under the crook of the curved... thing. His left hand held just around the center of gravity of the staff.

Then he just waited, playing defensively as he normally did, with his left side facing Ray.

((5/17))

187[Na no da]

(( Sorry for taking so long, I had to go to the hospital. So I'm back now.))

Ray shrugged.

"Do you know anyone who, if they can still fight, stay down?"

Ray asked, while scratching at the top of her head, biting her lower lip. She'd get a thrashing for sure by her teamates, Reiko and Dash telling her they hated her and how much she disappointed them made Ray shake her head from side to side quickly while whinning.

"Nyuuu, that would be bad, real bad!"

Ray didn't like to disappoint people, especially if they were her teamates.

Sighing, Ray's head would droop slightly, but snap back up again, she'd place her left foot forward, raising her heel off the ground bending her left knee, her right foot behind herself planted into the snow, her hands would be paralel to her chest, angled down just a bit. Her right thumb would be curled into her palm. The other hand sideways loosely clenched. Her back would be bent somewhat, in the lowered posistion she was in.

This time she'd wait for his attack, and be on the defensive.

" I hope their not to mad."

((6/17))

188Mekryd

(( O_O Hospital? ))

Mekryd thought about it, and shrugged. "Sometimes, it's actually more graceful to surrender than to fight a lost battle," he said. "Though that's not to say you've lost yet."

Great, she looked ready to kick the hell out of him. He sighed, with his right hand still holding the near-end of his staff, but this time, it was held far out behind him. As he did so, the crystal-wood forming the scythe-like thing below his right fist glowed brightly, then just dissolved into the air. He approached quickly, and suddenly jumped backwards to his right and rotated as he got closer. He pulled the staff in, and physics did its thing, speeding his spin up exponentially.

Light trailed from the tip farthest from Mekryd as he strafed around her in this motion. Suddenly, he crouched and stabbed out at her right knee on the second rotation, slowing the spin down until his nearly stopped. In the same motion he twisted the staff and pull inwards, to catch her even more off balance with the dull scythe he had used.

Should this work, and she fell like he had planned, he'd just stand again in the stance he had used at the start, outside of immediate punching and kicking range. Should it not work... well, he'd figure that out later.

((6/17))

189[Na no da]

(( Nothing to worry about. ^-^))

"But if I gave up, I'd be disappointing Reiko and Dash."

Ray pouted, a small smirk forming on her tanned face, she'd c**k a brow, straing at him her eyes gleaming in pure joy, she was having a good time, not taking anything to serious as would it seem the other players were doing. Why? Because where was all the fun in that?

"Yet?"

A small purr immited from her throat, the light that hand been on his staffed captured her, it was shinny and she liked shinny things. Her mist matched eyes would follow him- he was fast while spinning, but nothing her eyes couldn't keep up with.

Ray would bend her right knee sideways her right arm coming down firmly in a clenched fist infront of her leg to block the hit, thank god for her gloves, it would soften the blow due to the rubber latex, but it wouldn't stop the blow from causeing her to wince ever so slightly.

With the sythe blocked by her right arm, she'd extend her right hand so that she was grabbing part of the staff firmly, and pull it toward her stepping to the side.

She'd thrust out her knee to bring it colliding with his jaw line if the move worked.

((7/17))

190Mekryd

(( It obviously is, if you have to go to the hospital for it. >_>; Unless you were there to pick someone up. ))

Mekryd was already low to the ground in the first place. When he saw, and subsequently, felt, the grip on his staff, he actually went with it, pushing forward. He skimmed the snow, throwing it up everwhere. The knee, and foot missed him entirely due to how low to the ground he was. This left him more or less next to her on the ground. And since she was kicking, she was off balance.

So then Mekryd just played things by ear like he tended to do, and did something he wouldn't have done if there wasn't snow to make it that much either. He did a sort of spinning kick while rotating on his back, reminiscent of the breakdancing style flare, hopefully taking out her legs while also carrying the momentum back into a crouch from him. He'd leap back afterwards, picking up his staff after she hopefully let go of it.

191[Na no da]

(( Zips her lip It's a secret. ))

Ray would allowe herself to be hit, but instead of falling forward onto her stomach, she'd fall back onto her bottom, hands played out behind her, gripping the snow, while he had went back to pick up the dropped sythe, she'd lean back, and roll backwards, getting into a crouch and springing back onto her feet.

If she had held onto the sythe, it would have ment nothing, she didn't know how to use one, so why burden herself with extra weight?

Stanceing in the same stance again, she'd smile happily, enjoying herself even more.

"Nyah!"

She was only saddend that this match would soon end, and all her fun would end with it, but so was the ending to all things, such bitter sorrow.

"meh."

192Mekryd

(( 'kay... ))

A small smirk played across his lips as his leaping momentum continued into a few more hops backwards. Their movements had carried them a few yards apart. "Ah, it's so nice to be fighting without doing so for one's life or for others," he said. "But it's not over."

His smile widened for a moment before it disappeared again after he repeated a single word. "Yet." This word seemed to hang in the air, as the other scythe edge dissolved into bright lights, leaving him with just a staff, though there seemed to be a point to its tip.

It seemed like he would have to go on the offensive if this was going to go anywhere. It went against his usual way of fighting, but usually his way of fighting was just to last, not to incapacitate. So... this needed a few adjustments. Mekryd threw his staff like a spear, though he was not aiming to hit her. It simply landed point first in the ground and stayed there, perpendicular to the ground a few feet in front of her, to her left.

The crystal-wood bracelets hanging around his wrists glowed for a moment. Light built up on them until they solidified into the same material as the bracelet, forming arm and wrist guards.

"Hup..." Mekryd grunted as he stepped forward once onto his left foot before leaping forward with his right. A gust of wind aided his movement forward as he strode quickly towards her, arms bent at his sides.

Well, the last of the judging is done, and the scores are in and averaged out. Obviously there is going to be a lot of bitching, but its only expected when testosterone is flaring up in unbelievable levels.

Points are awarded in 4 categories, each part is worth 5 points. On a rating scale of 1-5 for each category.

 1. Did they break any rules?
 1. How long did it take them to post?
 1. Were they creative?
 1. Could you tell what they were doing? Also being were they able to describe their moves clearly?

So winning is not about beating the living crap out of someone, but rather RPing as a whole. Though of course, winning a round does provide bonus points, and contrary to that, arguements result in deduction of points.
