It was time to seal this win... hopefully with things as they were, Lazenca didn't totally screw it up. Sadly, things usually happened like that to him. A hand holding Sun's, while it was holding him. The grip tightened. His knee was down on Sun's chest now. He was holding onto the staff. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't get up because Sun had established a hold. He could, but didn't want to risk shifting and giving Sun the chance to use a weight change to his advantage. So down on the ground did he stay.
With Lazenca, the air was usually cool... it was his aura. Sun could probably feel this already, but it was more noteworthy since the temperature suddenly started dropping again... very, very quickly. The feeling of cold was not only in the air, but in his body as well. With the wrist hold and the chest restraint, those were the two places that Sun would feel it the most. Lazenca was flooding the area with cold, channelling it through himself and pumping it into Sun's body. Sunstrike may as well had been standing naked in the Tundra of Guldor during a blizzard.
And you know what? Lazenca expected nobody to allow him to do this. So he looked up to the other side, staring at them and being sure that they weren't daring to step in.

Where once a man stood, overlooking hell and staring to heaven; none stood now.
The signal to the end, would come in the form of a solid crack, as a blade embedded itself a mere 3 inches from Sunstrike's face. It was a bloodred thing, vicious looking as it was long. Yet, nearly instataneously the effects would be felt from this intrusion. The blade would start the countdown... as the figure was already free falling towards the street.
Rotating in the air as he fell, he came down with aboslutely no indication that those around had noticed him up there to begin with. His right hand went aflame, even as he spun; before suddenly thrusting forward. His entire right arm was abalze for a moment, before compacting along his right fist.
His fist would more than likely slam directly into the ice user's lower to mid back, slamming his body forward and into nothing but pavement. The street would buckle, as several cracks outlined along the floor, and up to half way down the block, parked cars would be violently jostled upwards, their alarms blaring loudly. The surrounding walls would let loose with a groan, even as the figure was already removing himself from the point of impact. In under nearly 8 seconds, 9 at most, the striker block had been used.
Now... what exactly happened?
Efreet's Fang. A nigh weapon of legacy, which no historical document can place it's forging at. It was a weapon based on heat, to put it simply enough; a heat great enough that the weapon had been wielded by Efreet itself (or so the legends say). Once the blade had made contact with the ground, it had immediately begun dispelling the "field" of cold and numbing effects. Such close proximity to Sunstrike that the blade's sudden and rapid transference of heat to the surface would be akin to using jump starter cables on a car battery.
The naturally heat inclined red-head would receive that needed boost, and Lazenca, who unfortunately was holding onto Sunstrike, would know what it felt to be shocked. Well, sort of. The sudden spike in heat would cause him to do more than flinch away from Sunstrike, and yet if he persisted in holding, he would find his hand badly burned as well as his knee. If his pain threshold was enought to stave this off, then good enough.
However... Sunstrike would not be so immobile anymore, considering the heat burst he received, and would most likely strike Lazenca's upwards straight into his incoming fist. Their art of fighting would be perfect.
Secondly, the move used against Lazenca. The Beast Straight was akin to one of Silver's own moves (whether or not the pupil derived it from the master remains to be seen, but it safe to say that Silver learned it on his own), in which a great deal of flame was concentrated into his right fist. Yet, the similarity in the moves ended there. The Beast Straight also provided a suddent thrust, allowing the user to "glide" across, covering more distance and essentialy delivering more impact. The pure difference in strength between the moves would also be noted. Should a barrier be erected to slow down or prevent him from reaching his target, the Straight would tear through it with little effort, such was the speed at which it was travelling.
Considering that the move had been started from above, and came down from behind, the added momentum had resulted in the impact seen. So great, that when struck, a literal outline of his entire right fist, knuckles and all, would be seen in Lazenca's back, as well as a flash scarring against the skin.... or fur.
Third... the element of surprise. For all this time, not even his own team had known where he was... or why he wasn't there. A reason he still kept to himself, yet suffice to say he had been in Durem the entire time... after all, a certain someone was fighting in a certain clocktower not too far from here... Lazenca had busied himself with expecting either Shouyin or Silver to intervene... he had no reason to be staring up, let alone expecting a man he hardly knew anything about to show up.
Perhaps he might try and "sense" him incoming, but it would also be too late. That would teach him to mind his surroundings in the future.
Fourth... speed. The entire Straight had been executed from above, clocked around 8 seconds in totality. There was nearly 0 room for any type of evasive manuevers of any kind, especially when the element of surprise came in. Should the fist in it's entirety be avoided, there was still the shockwave of the Straight to deal with, which would be enough to send anyone careening backwards and smacking into a wall if they weren't expecting it.
All in all... it would seem that should Lazenca have enough stamina left to withstand the Straight, which if there was a health bar- would have taken away nearly half of Lazenca's, he would be able to stand right back up, ready to continue. And Vahn would already be silently standing to the side, not intruding in the fight anymore, yet away from his other two teammates.
However... appearences could be deceiving....
