TRAIN CART

An empty train cart has been reserved for combatants to fight in the small space as it speeds down the tracks from one city to the next.

Terrain

General - Reduced balance due to quick moving cart over bumpy tracks, Tight environment creates linear fighting atmosphere, Spectators and civilians in other carts

Weapons - None

Natural Element Resource - None

Bonus Effects - Throwing an opponent off of the cart as it speeds away is an instant KO

2Master Nemesis

The empty car was peaceful and quiet, having no one in it at the moment. Sunbeams filtered through the windows, highlighting motes of dust as they floated through the air and settled on the red leather seats. Metal bars gleamed brightly in the golden light, and silence prevailed. But that tranquility would disappear over the course of the next few minutes. Suddenly, at one end of the train car, the silence was interrupted by a sound exactly like that of crackling flames. It made sense, because there was now a long, flaming vertical line suspended in the air just above the floor. For a couple moments, it simply sat there, doing nothing. Then, gradually, it started widening. Soon, it was about four feet wide, spanning nearly the entire width of carriage aisle. Abruptly, a voice issued forth from it, saying "Come on." Then, as if a flaming rectangle and a disembodied voice weren't strange enough, a black boot suddenly poked its way out from the flames. It was followed by a leg in arctic fatigues, then a gloved hand, and finally the torso of the man known as Johnathan Nemesis. He emerged completely through the fire gateway, and stood here, brushing a bit of soot off his clothing. Then he turned back towards the doorway, waiting expectantly for his teammate, Ruuvan, to step through.

3Ruuvan

Ruuvan had used a variety of gateways in his life, but never one which used fire to envoke the passage and form the doorway, but it wasn't a different principle as it still got you from A to B in one easy step.

"Yes, yes. I'm coming." Another voice echoed into the carriage soon after Johnathan's, soon leaving both men standing in the train with the portal closing behind them, "First here I see." Ruuvan turned his head to look into one of the carriages reserved for spectators. He only saw one elderly person, looking as if he hadn't moved from that chair in a while, snoring heavily with an old camera hanging out his neck; even the sound of burning flames over the train wheels grinding along the track didn't seem to wake him, but it made no difference to their current situation.

"I guess we have a short time to get ready, eh?" Ruuvan smiled and put his duffel bag on the ground, gently kicking it along the ground into the corner of the carriage. The information displayed on his FIGHTER had said about no weapons or powers being used in this match, so they were all lying in he duffel in case they changed it before the start. However, it had not said anything about protective gear, and as such, Ruu was wearing his two forearm guards and shinguards underneath his dark combat trousers. With everything already set and a wait ahead of them, Ruuvan sat down on the nearest seat and sighed heavily, "You set?"

((Entrance of chef man))

Within the spectator carts at the train end that is opposite of the Nightraid, spectator were being forced to their seats or they would end up being pushed by what looked to be a large blob in a chef's uniform; carrying his many kitchen utensils and a few pots with him. Apologizing profusing each step of the way, he eventually made it to the match cart. Checking his FIGHTER, he saw the match to be no weapons and no powers. So, he placed his pots and utensils over to the side.

((Entrance of crazy dude.))

Chef man's brother followed closed by the fat man. Making like he was stealthily creeping, despite everyone being able to see him. Eventually, he too made it to the match car. After being told by his brother that this was a no weapons match, he frowned and put his bullhorn, earmuffs, and other horns by the utensils.

________________________________________________________________

Chef man opened the door to the match arena and walked out. He called out to the other team to give them a message. He had to do something while he waited for his mysterious other teammates.

5Hugin the Raven

Enter one man dressed in a black overcoat with silver trim on the sleeves and hem, with the ranking insignia of Master Sergeant on the shoulders. He casually entered the car, wondering when this would all start. Undoubtedly, this would be more interesting than first thought- all of his weapons were secured elsewhere by tournament security, leaving him with only his wits about him.

Of course, he could handle that as well...

In any case, he made his way to the other end of the match area and took a look at the.. erm, quite obese chef. Mentally, he did a run-through on the best way to defeat someone who was two, perhaps three times his size. Once confirmed, he spoke.

"Okay then, I'll say this once. Move out of our way."

6Open-minded-Person

"I'm sorry, sir. Didn't mean to be in your way." With that he proceeded to move into an open space between seats to allow the man enough room to get to his team. "Are you on their team sir?" was asked when he moved into the appropriate place.

7Hugin the Raven

Evan held up his right arm and flashed his FIGHTER.

"That's right."

Whoa, he really took that the wrong way. Kinda anticlimactic, no?

"I'm the captain. And I think this could all be resolved quickly... if your team stepped aside and let us advance. You're not our target, nor are you our concern. This is the last time I'm going to be nice, and your only chance to escape through any means other than one of these windows."

His eyes were covered with those mirrored shades and his face remained neutral. Scared? No. Mean? Might seem that way, but no. He was literally giving them the option of walking away... simply to be courteous. In his own gruff, hardened way.

8John Trio

Just then, somewhat heavy footsteps could be heard coming from the same way that the greatly obese one came from. A human-looking man that was 5'11'' could be seen carrying a huge sign through the door to the match car. Probably the only thing that gave away him not being human was one of his eyes being almost perfectly white. The other was red with the eyeball looking like it is moving around.

He did catch the last parts of what the master sargeant said. He raised his sign and on it a message appeared to answer him. "I'm going first on my team."

John Halfuo followed behind Trio until he reached the stands portion of the cart. Awaiting there for what would happen.

9Open-minded-Person

"Trio." said the chef in an attempt to get the man's attention. "The rules state no weapons or powers, so I need to take this." And with that, he attempted to get the sign away from the strong man. If successful, he would have to literally drag the heavily weighing sign to the appropriate area.

10John Trio

After hearing the news, the man had his mechanical eye switch to normal eye mode. Though he was a bit reluctant, he allowed the fatass to drag away the sign. He then faced forward to the opposition. Waiting for them to choose their first fighter and get this started.

11Master Nemesis

Johnathan was wondering when his captain would show up, when, speak (Or in this situation, think) of the devil, Evan White appeared at the other end of the car. Smiling, he listened to his conversation with the large man in the chef's uniform, suppressing a chuckle as he heard the big guy's mistaken response. He blinked with surprise as he heard Evan's brutal and to-the-point statement, but it was only because the other team seemed to have ignored it. He was in no way shocked by his superior's way of speaking to the opposing team. He had experienced it himself, due to the fact that his team captain also happened to be his Drill Sergeant. He patiently waited for Evan to finish speaking, and to make his way over to their end of the train carriage.

12Hugin the Raven

"It's your funeral... I'm the captain, so I guess I should go first."

He walked fifteen paces away from John Trio, taking off his coat and tossing it to Jonathan. He then turned, got into a defensive stance with both legs bent and most of the weight on his back leg- the right one, and simply waited for an attack.

"Just so you know... I gave you a chance to step aside. I understand that you can't speak, but you certainly can hear me... and see me. So see this..."

He flicked his leading hand, which happened to be his left, in a thumbs-down before closing it back into a fist and putting it in alignment with his left leg.

"And get ready for an a**-beating. Come and get me!"

13John Trio

Trio knew better than to make a real first attack. But, what the hell. John Trio walked up to the Drill Sargeant and tried to do a slow right-handed punch to the face. The Seargeant saw earlier that this quiet man was atleast a strong man. And from what it would hopefully seem, a slow strong man.

14Hugin the Raven

Right Straight to the face- direct, sure. Why do people always go with the direct approach? Why can't they just come from the side every now and then?

But he would give the man this- he was patient. This would be more interesting than first thought, but he had no time to think. Well, actually, as much time to think as possible, and he thought pretty quickly. Evan blocked the punch, flicking his left forearm upwards to intercept and deflect, and kicked upwards with his left leg in a toe kick to the midsection.

LET'S ROCK

15Master Nemesis

Grinning, Johnathan snatched Evan's coat out of the air as the match began, folding it up neatly and placing it on the seat beside him. "I almost feel sorry for the little guy." he thought, still smiling as he watched his captain deflect the sluggish punch. "Then again, it's not our fault they decided to enter this tournament. They knowingly risked the possibilty of being beaten by doing so."

16John Trio

What would slow at first became suddenly a lot speedier. The slow was a ploy to read the reaction. What was a deflection soon became a defense of his own.

The moment that the forearm touched Trio's fist, it switched up to grab the forearm. Given that combination shots are done in momentum to the previous blows, Trio read Hugin's hip movement. While keeping the forearm grabbed, he lowered the right elbow to crash into the upper thigh of the kick. To keep the kick atleast stalled for a little, he pushed forward with his right hand, intending to use Hugin's own left hand to try to hit him in the face. All was done in a hopefully quick enough motion to reduce the time Hugin would be able to react.

17Hugin the Raven

CLANG

The sound of John's elbow meeting Evan's shin guard resounded slightly through the train cart as the battle was joined. Evan's mind was now entirely focused on the fight, mostly from the reaction to his deflection, and the rest from the sound of one attack to meet the other. Immediately, he lowered said leg and quickly dropped his stance so that the now captive arm would pass right over him. Then he shifted his right leg forward, and with a stomp that echoed through the cart and into the spectator carts beside it, quickly shoved his right hand forward in a palm strike to John's solar plexus.

If successful, it would have the combined effects of closing the distance, breaking the hold on his left arm, and making the first strike of the match- and a quite hard one at that.

18John Trio

Trio kept his eyes at the center of Hugin. So as to keep up with hopefully reading the body movements to adapt accordingly. When the captive arm barely passed over him. Trio's arm in a way quickly put on the brakes. While Hugin was busy doing his shifting/stomp, Trio started to bring the captive arm back towards him, yet downwards, or rather towards the back of Hugin's head for a possible, 'HELLO'.

Now often the shifting of the foot, this gave away momentum was building built up from most likely the same side. Seeing the strike come forward, Trio's left hand ran an interception. Speeding to the attacking hand and defensively grabbing onto it and deflecting it to his right, under his right arm.

19Hugin the Raven

Hn... not bad.

Of course, he was still coming forward, due to the deflection. The right leg was already forward, so all he had to do was raise it sharply and quickly in a knee strike to the gut, raising his upper body up and forwards for more force. Of course, the hand behind him was noticed as well- he took that risk in order to get within point-blank range. Now that he was here and quickly righting his position, the counter to the evasion hit between Hugin's shoulders instead, which wasn't all that much due to the upwards force.

When he was this close, it was highly improbable to miss such an attack...

20John Trio

Had Hugin done all actions for the knee strike in the middle with the jumbled up hands, he woulda had more luck due to the block of vision. However, once again combination reading came into play. Not to mention the rising of the body and the beginning of the knee was still Trio's field of vision.

His left hand quickly put on the brakes and snapped back and downwards towards the middle with great speed in answer to the knee. The knee and elbow met in a stalemate that was little painful to Trio. Of course this pain, would not be without a reward.

The forward motion would feed into Trio's next attack. Using the left hand while still gripping Hugin's arm, he punched with it forward toward Hugin's gut. Whether it was successful or not, would be up to Hugin.

21Hugin the Raven

Of course, pain was equally shared. One joint meeting another wasn't exactly good for either man's health, and if done too long, they could both be in a world of pain. But seeing as the punch was coming, he did the proper thing this time and pushed back against the incoming punch, putting his own strength against John's incoming left punch for a brief second before latching on with his free hand.

With said arm captive, he quickly kicked at his opponent's right leg, the ball of the foot slamming into the shin. If successful, it would not only give John a sharp pain, but give himself a slight advantage and the perfect setup for his next attack...

22John Trio

The pushing back did serve to slow the punch, some. Barely enough for the slow down the punch intime for the incoming hand to assist. It indeed would take both of hugin's hands to completely stop his hand in this manner.

The once-free hand latched on, though John's right hand hand still grappled onto it. Anyways, while it was a good distraction attempt to turn attention away, John was not fooled. Despite the arm grappling, the beginnings of the kick was still viewable in its start.

Hugin's right foot came at Trio only to be kicking at air, as Trio's right foot quickly moved forward out of the way. Going between Hugin's left leg and the former spot for his right leg and a little bit in back of them, dragging it along the floor. Trio quickly turned the front part to toward his (Trio's) right at a 45 degree angle and quickly snapped it back. Hopefully, powerfully enough to trip Hugin's left foot, which would likely send Hugin off balance since Hugin's right foot isn't grounded.

((You didn't say which side you were using to kick, which let me choose which one.))

23John Trio

While Trio could carry a 400 lb sign in one hand with little problem, a moving entity was a different story. Nevertheless, he too followed the flow of movement to an extent. When it came down his being pulled while while Hugin was very near the ground, John's lower body jumped a bit into the air. Quickly bending his legs upward as much as possible, then contracted them down as fast and powerful as possible.

His feet would come crashing down towards the middle of each of the respective hips. If successful, the main thing would be that John would then be standing on the hips. His upper body hunched over Hugin's head with the arms still locked. But, yet Trio's entire body would be trying to balance on itself on Hugin's body.

This didn't include the possible great damage that could be done to Hugin's hips and possible surrounding areas.

24Hugin the Raven

BINGO!

All four arms were locked. In this case, seeing as it was a bit late to retract the kick, he did the only thing he could. His own strength would have to be put into play for this stunt, but he tried it anyways. As the kick hit air, he quickly leaned back while all four arms were now interlocked. With the kick coming towards his now weakly supported leg being the only option in this situation, he simply followed the flow of the movement...

And timber. Up, over, and down while Evan was falling. Boom.

25Ruuvan

(STRIKER)

26Ruuvan

Ruuvan had been standing next to Nemesis throughout the fight, musing over the grappling and predicaments the two combatants found themselves in, but things suddenly took a turn for the worse as Hugin went to throw Trio over the top of him.

Without hesitation, Ruuvan broke off in a run towards the two fighters as they fell over, his eyes focusing on Trio curling inwards and getting ready to stamp down onto Evan's hips. In order to stop said attack from happening, Ruu leapt from the ground and placed both his feet forwards in a dropkick to the larger man's face. Being partially airborne and having no limbs to deflect the blow, not to mention being preoccupied with Evan. The dropkick, along with the speed, weight and momentum Ruu carried forward, would carry more than enough force to smack Trio halfway down the carriage before he could land his feet onto Evan's hips. With the immediate danger cleared, Ruuvan helped Evan onto his feet before retreating back to Nemesis.

27John Trio

((Isn't the posting order supposed to be, his defense, your assist post, then mine?))

28John Trio

The result of the fantastic dropkick from the peanut gallery:

When ruuvan made the assist, did he take note of less possible factors than he thought? Less us see.

Trio felt a not so nice, painful kick to his face and soon his chin. The resulting force pushed his head into his knees. The knees absorbing the impact almost stopped the head in place, but end up moving backwards as a result. Normally, Trio would be scent flying. However, there was still the factor of the 4 arms holding onto each other. And Trio never showed any sign of letting go, and even now didn't.

So thanks to the arms holding Trio to Hugin and Hugin's to Trio's, Hugin was possibly pulled upwards a bit from the dropkick force. So Trio's attack ended up changed from a kicks-to-hips attack to a Trio's upper body falling on top of Hugin's lower body, mainly falling on the legs, attack. Trio's lower body would be falling to the floor.

Of course, this was pending Hugin's reaction in accordance to the assist.

29Hugin the Raven

Unfortunately, that didn't quite go as planned. Perhaps the man did not consider all the effects of the kick...

The kick was done from a running start, with steel-toed boots in mid-air. With the weight diffrential that was immediately put to his face, the energy generated would have traveled through his entire body, including the arms, thus forcing him to let go.

Not only that, but the room would definately spin, due to the fact that the kick rocked his skull and shook his brain, not to mention make his ears ring, thus slightly deafening him. But never mind, he was up in the air and the kick made him come DOWN...

... Just as Evan's legs got into position to send him flying down the train cart, back in the direction of his teammates. This would serve two purposes- first of all, to make him let go, and second to knock the ever-loving wind out of him, not to mention make him hurt even more. As soon as he got into range- the appropriate position to kick him back down to his teammates... he let fly.

Hard.

30Hugin the Raven

((Unfortnuately, this is goodbye. Post your response, but I'm not going to be back anytime today. Take care! Say hi to your teammates for me if you happen to get knocked halfway down the train car.))

31John Trio

((Post pending.))

32Maximos

((Alright, a judge call has been made, and I have to present a few issues here. I see two in particular.

John Trio Wrote:

((Isn't the posting order supposed to be, his defense, your assist post, then mine?))

No. A striker is an interupt post. It effects the action between yours and your opponents. How can he effect said action if the opponent has already taken the hit?))

John Trio Wrote:

((Ok. Trio, I must call this into question. You were dropkicked in the face...but your head went down. I do not believe that is physically possible, how does one take 165lb pound man to the face, and go down? If force is being applied at your face, wouldnt your face go backwards not forward?

Secondly, Ruuvans body does not just disappear in mid air, this is not a flying kick, it is a drop kick. That means his body wieght will fly, and carry itself forward into and past you. Simple interia says that you being in mid air and being acted on by over 300bs of pressure, WILL push the airborne entity that is you, backwards if it connects. You have already agreed in this post that it connects.

If I hit a ball in mid air, with a 500lb bat, regardless of the damage to the ball it IS going to fly.

Thirdly, I going to need a clerfication as to why a 165lb man moving at full run, drop kicking you and then launching off your face to return to his start point, caused only pain, and no damage what so ever. Namely, I'm going to need to know what exactly kept his steel toed boots from cracking your skull, and what kept the force of his body wieght against your head, from pushing you down to the ground.

If there is some magical force or enchantment or equipment that we're missing, thats fine. If not, we have a little problem.))

33John Trio

((Ok, first off. I didn't know the exact physics of the dropkick at the time, let alone that he had steel toe boots. I admit that I messed up due to assumption. At the time, I had clouded judgement due to anger/insert-stupid-emotion-excuse-here during the striker assist as well.

However, might I take this back a bit further. After thinking it over last night and this morning, I had concluded that at the time of Hugin's post in answer to the trip, I had misinterpreted the last couple of sentences of it. At the time, I thought Hugin was simply while trying to drag me with him. Looking it over again, now with a clearer mind, I am seeing it as him attempting to throw me which would have had a different response. What are your thoughts? Afterall, the possibly misinterpreted post and response seems to be the source of this trouble.))

((I'm sorry Trio, your mistake regarding the Striker was a mistake of function. As my judges ruling, I will have to ask you to edit it.

Your mistake regarding Hugin did not result in a counter that was physically impossible it resulted in a mistake that put you in a worse off situation. I'm sorry but I cannot allow a re-write of that, its only purpose would be to put you in a better position. Your defense was still possible, wether or not you accidentally made it so is irrelevant. Your defense for Ruuvan' Striker Attack, was simpy physically not.

Its the difference between doing the homework for the wrong day, and being given a chance to Redo. Or changing the homework so that the answers are all right before the teacher has a chance to grade it, when she reviews it. I hate to say it John, but you made a mistake in that situation and it turned out negatively for you. It happens to the best of us, we dont get the chance to turn back the clock and fix it though.

Please edit your post to accomodate physics, and continue the match. And do try not to take it personally, this is a friendly competition.))

35John Trio

((OK, this post is to respond to Ruuvan's kick. Which I am going to try my best to get right.))

There was a sudden knock to his face. The force from the dropkick not only launched Trio backwards, but also forced him to let go of Hugin. In mid-air from the force ofthe kick, his body spinned upwards around a bit. At the point at which he first touched the ground after his flying lesson, he was around 6 feet away from his opponent. However, due to the immence force from the kick, he slid along the ground, on his back, around 2 more feet before coming to a stop.

Now onto the real, juicy damage.

There was a nice double shoed bootprint on his face. Within the lines of the bootprint, there was visible damage to his face. A bloody some-what flattened nose, his real eye was swollen greatly, his mechanical eye if examined closely showed signs of cracking. His forehead has a very large bruise on it that came very close to bleeding outta the skin itself. Normally, a person would have a WTF face on in this situation, but he instead had a smile. As if liking this feeling of intense pain that he was feeling from all over the front of his face.

36Hugin the Raven

And there was more coming.

As soon as Evan helped himself up by springing to his feet as soon as his back hit the floor, he sprinted flat out towards the sliding John Trio, who was eight feet away. In mere moments, he cleared four feet... then grabbed two of the vertical poles on the train and hauled himself forwards and upwards, his hands extended on either side of him and his hands formed into claws while his legs were bent...

To quickly slam down on Trio's chest, making him slide another four feet while his left hand pressed his face to the floor, still in the claw-hand form. If this didn't do the trick, nothing would.

37Open-minded-Person

( Striker )

38Open-minded-Person

Crazy dude opens the door just as Evan started towards John Trio and quickly sprints toward him as well. With Evan's attention fixed on the downed man, Crazy was hoping that his upcoming manuever would work. That was until, he saw evan start moving into the air. His feet stop running so as to slide to Trio's body. Crazy reaches out and tries to grab Evan by the chest as he was coming down. Using evan's bent body to keep him from slipping through the grab and the momentum from Evan's movement, he tries to do a suplex (do I have the right wrestling move?) backwards. To have evan crash on his lower spine and a**. Then Crazy would run quickly back to his appropriate team's area.

39Hugin the Raven

Well there's a thing about someone coming towards a guy while he's in mid-air: you can see him coming from a mile away. So when he prepared for his power bomb, Evan could do nothing but smirk as he descended and suddenly latched onto his face with his right hand as the Crazy Dude grabs upwards, dragging his hand down sharply to claw into his face with his nails. This would reduce his vision heavily for what he would do next...

His left hand plants itself on the top of his head in order to shove off over his head... thus placing him far enough to land square on Trio's face with the heels of his boots.

40Open-minded-Person

After what Hugin had done what he wished, there was little time for Crazy to be able to stay. Regardless of what Trio did, he was on his own thanks to the time left. After the shove off, Crazy went back running to the side-box car thinger. Crying out loudly while in a great deal in pain, "MMMMOMMMMMYYYYYYYYYY." Of course do to his vision being blocked, he did bump into the seats and poles along the way.

41John Trio

Trio barely opened his eyes onto the oncoming attack that was before Crazy came running in like a mad man. If he didn't come in and delay Hugin for that extra time in the air, Hugin would have hit and ended the match. However, it gave Trio enough time to come up with probably the closest escape in history. Trio quickly slid his head to the his left. The boots came crashing to the floor right next to Trio's cheek.

This was probably the only chance Trio would ever get while Hugin was distracted. So he rolled his head on the feet of Hugin, in the poorest attempt to seal them or atleast add weight to them. His left hand quickly came up to try to pull down Hugin's pants, from the direction of his back, down to knee level.

Given that Hugin's pants was likely buckled, zipped, etc. It would take a person of immense strength to be able to pull them down, and that was what Trio was. Also, things were to be considered would be that due to the forced tugging, there would be friction burn of the pants to Hugin's skin as well as the pants possibly ripping some due to the 'improper care' of them. However, Trio's main thing was to get them down to his knees and ******** up the lower body movement. Granted that the tug was also from the back, it might also have Hugin's start to tumble backwards.

And despite all this, the blood from Trio's bleeding nose would stain Hugin's boots. Maybe a bit of red on it would be a new fashionable color.

42Hugin the Raven

Yup. That would have worked... save for the fact that he bent his knees upon impact, lowering the chances of such a counter drasticly, not to mention lowering his position enough to draw energy from the floor of the train.

Now, there was a difference between drawing chi for an attack and doing so for a technique. One was used in a physical sense- the other was using one's mind to focus that energy into a different form; a tangible form. Something that could hurt and injure.

But the effect of the downwards palm strike to John's temple would have a similar effect. The temples were a major stress point- strike one with enough force and one would be knocked out. Upon doing this, he would let out a standard Bruce Lee warcry, sounding very much like a bird of prey.

"ATCHAAAAA!"

43John Trio

His eyes were slowly opening back to normal, though his vision would be reduced reduced in effectiveness in the middle with a gradual lessening reduction effect going outwards. Not to mention facial pain distracting him.

However, what was important was that Hugin's attack was in his Trio's line of vision, but barely at the edge.

What was also important was that the attack was made a little time during the pulling. So trio had enough time to see it coming and react to it in another close call. In the last momenta before the attack would connect, he shifted his head back onto the floor, close to but not as near the foot towards' Hugin's right. So that Hugin's strike would come crashing down onto his foot. There most likely wasn't enough time for him to redirect his strike to hit trio for sure.

44Hugin the Raven

And then he turned the heel of said right boot, which was now free, ever so slightly. For an expert at drawing chi, even this movement was enough for an incapacitating strike. His left hand came down, the tips of his index finger, middle finger, and his thumb coming together to form a precision striking surface. This was the hand position for Mantis Style, and it was an offensive technique geared towards two things.

Speed and precision targeting of pressure points.

And this one, though so low to the ground, was a quite fast one- his left hand was a blur- virtually untracable by even Trio's eyes as the attack came ramming home. He didn't have to redirect his attack- he just had to make a new one, and make it faster. After the strike to the temple, he went for the neck, just on the pulse, for good measure. Another vital target... and one that would mess him up seriously if hit.

45John Trio

Speed and precision are pretty damn good, if the attack wasn't readable ahead of time. Once again combination reading comes into play. Whether the first strike hits or misses, the next are to follow suit in rapid succession, built upon the previous moment. Not to mention the heel pivoting, even though slightly, gave away which side would attack. So, all trio did was sit up. Both strikes hit the floor in rapid succession while Trio's body hip and up was sitting up. His right arm shot up in attack to Hugin's back. Going for the spine with the attack stretching the edge of Trio's first knuckle all the way down to his elbow.

46Hugin the Raven

Of course, the pivot of the right foot was used for other things. For this move, he would be blind as a bat, but knowing how and where he sat up would help. Not to mention the fact that his back was turned, meaning that his line of sight was limited. Add the fact that his vision was impaired... and well, you get the idea.

So then, he stood up- quite quickly at that- during the strike to the spine. At the same, time, said right foot would come smashing towards Trio's lower back, and straight into the base of his spine- which was on his LEFT. Reduced line of sight taken into account, and the speed and force of said attack added in- which were still pretty good, seeing as it was close quarters- this would hurt.

That was, if it connected.

47John Trio

((Bats aren't blind. They prefer to fly at night because the darker the night the safer the flight.))

Vision being blocked from seeing Hugin, he would have to rely on his hearing now. Though, it would be hard. He entered in too quickly into this match to put on his hearing aids.

Oddly enough, Trio's attack smacked into Hugin's booty. Though he deserved more smacks for being a bad boy, the strange thing was it was uninterrupted and Hugin did not use his left foot which was closer. Not to mention it woulda been faster and would have a almost guaranteed hit. This ruled out his arm being the target of Hugin's next attack and left his back.

So Trio started to roll forward. Instead of hitting the lower spine, Hugin's kick hit Trio's butt. The force causing Trio to go faster than intended. He ended up rolling out further from his opponent than he intended. The end of the roll would be with Trio sitting.

48Hugin the Raven

And this is where it would stop.

The forward roll, if taken into account, had one flaw- his hearing, or what limited hearing he would have anyway- would be dampened. As soon as he felt the kick connect... and heard him rolling down the hallway... he quickly turned and ran after him, grabbing onto the two nearest poles in order to haul himself forward and propel himself straight down the hallway through the air. This was done about halfway through the roll, and with him about two or three feet behind him.

But it wouldn't be like last time... he wouldn't go as high. He would simply close the distance very quickly, his legs tucked in as he went.

Upon the moment Trio ended his roll, it happened. A major drop kick, using the heels of his boots, shot out towards Trio's cerebral cortex. In other words, a quite hard kick to the back of the head. If the exact spot that was specified was hit hard enough, it would cause the brain to temporarily shut down.

This was it... there was little chance of hearing him move through the air at the point where he had taken off, due to the fact that the manouvre was done in the middle of the roll.

If this worked, the match was over!

49John Trio

When Trio ended his roll, he immediately tried to go for another one to get further away from his opponent. He couldn't hear the kick impact, though. It didn't hit the cerebral cortex, but rather just a bit below the neck. Which would send Trio flying forwards and sliding face first along the ground.

However, this didn't matter too much in the long run, because out of the teammate section came Halfuo with a towel which was thrown at Hugin. "This round is over, I'm throwing the towel in for him. He is too proud to give up when the time is right." Round 1 would be done with one or 2 more rounds to go. Wth Halfuo being next.

50Hugin the Raven

And the towel happened to end up in Evan's hand as he sat up, seeing as he snatched it from mid air- much without looking. He casually and slowly stood up, his joints popping from release of stress, and wiped the sheen of sweat from his forehead and face.

"Please inform him of his pride and stubbornness next time. Such things will get him killed someday." With that, he dropped the towel on the back of Trio's head, allowing it to cover him completely before walking back to his team's section, looking as if nothing major had happened.

He didn't cheer- it wasn't a real victory- he simply looked at Trio and sighed to himself.

Poor fool... perhaps if he had simply stopped when he was at his limit...

51Master Nemesis

Johnathan shook his head slowly as Evan walked towards their end of the carriage, looking somewhat sympathetically at the defeated Trio. "Might have saved himself some grief if he had just given up sooner." he thought to himself. "Well, now it's my turn." With that, he reached up, and pulled of his dark sunglasses, folding them up and slipping them inside his coat. He slipped one arm out of the sleeve, and brang it out, using that same hand to pull off his coat. He hung it on a nearby hook, which groaned a little under the weight of it. Now, with his coat off, his lean, yet powerful muscles were put on display. He had a pair of black protective pads strapped to his elbows. They were plates of tempered steel plates, wrapped in fabric and secured to his arms by a buckle and velcro strap. Slight bulges at the knees of his pants suggests he wore kneepads as well. He didn't bother to remove his gloves, but kept them on his hands, simply wanting to continue wearing them. He then turned to face the opposite end of the car, cracking his neck and knuckles as he asked "So, which poor soul am I gonna be fighting?"

52Kraun

And so, one of the judges (Because I'm lazy and dont feel like choosing one of the animal costumes) made an announcement over the PA system of the train or something.

Evan White vs John Trio

Forfeit

53John Trio

Halfuo slowly dragged Trio back to the teammates. Going into the dressing room, he changed into his battle outfit. When he came out, he could be seen shirtless, in sweatpants, wearing a couple of strange looking bracers that look to have slots for throwing weapons in them. The main thing, however, was that he could be seen without eyeballs. So in essence, he would be fighting blindly.

Given the start of the earlier fight and the new man's voice just now, Halfuo stepper louder than usual to a few feet before the new man. The loud steps were to make sure nothing was in the way. "That would be me sir. Let's get this overwith."

54Master Nemesis

Unfazed by the fact that his opponent did not have eyes, Johnathan moved into a defensive stance. Sliding his right foot forward, he rotated his body slightly to the left. He bent his knees, crouching a little, then formed his left hand into a fist and rested his forearm on his hip. He raised his right arm in front of him, his palm open. Smirking just a bit, he said "Let's go."

[1/17]

55John Trio

This man is not the proactive type either. This might be a problem, but oh well. The blind elf walked up to the man into close quarters and did something simple. A slow eye poke attack, style a la 3 stooges. Just to see what the other man would do.

56Master Nemesis

As Johnathan saw the fingers coming toward him, he figured the other man must be trying to test him. He waited till the left hand was only a few centimeters away, then moved his head to his left, allowing the hand to start moving past his head on his right side. His right arm came up, and grabbed the inside of Halfuo's wrist. He twisted it, bringing the arm down to his side, and yanked his opponent's body towards him. Simultaneously, his left fist came forward, coming from below to strike upwards into the area of Haluo's stomach just below his ribcage. All this happened within a second, in a blinding blur of movement.

During the slowness, Halfuo was preparing his body to make a blurringly quick strike in response to the movement and it looked like it was would for good.

When Halfuo detected a strange delay in movement, he got suspicious while it was still in front of the man's face. Right when Johnathan started movement of his head, Halfuo's eyepoking hand quickly turned vertical, In a blur of movement that would happen in probably 2 tenths of a second, from starting point to finishing point. Within this quick movement, Halfuo would try to backhand smack the side of Johnathan's face. The starting point being besides the face. The ending point being when Halfuo's hand would be outstretched full to the right of his own side.

The other opponent's arm that would raise up would raise for nothing. Likely nullifying the rest of the planned tactics. Atleast for the time being.

((Would your last punch happen regardless? If it does, I can edit.))

58Master Nemesis

[No, the punch doesn't happen. Also, it actually a normal slap, not a backhand, because your palm was facing my cheek.]

Just as his arm began to rise, Johnathan felt his head whip to the side, and a stinging sensation begin to spread across the side of his face. He blinked in surprise, then realized he had just been slapped. Mild annoyance became his predominant emotion, and as he saw the assaulting appendage moving away, he did the first thing he could think of. His left arm came up, reaching out and grasping it by the forearm with speed that would make a striking snake green with envy. Pulling the other man towards him by his arm, Johnathan raised his right leg like a dog about to relieve itself, and shot his foot straight out at Halfuo's left side, the side facing him. If the attack connected, Halfuo would be hurting, for concealed in the soles of Johnathan's boots were plates of steel. They were light enough that they didn't hamper his speed, but had enough weight to cause some serious damage. [EDIT]

In pretty much the same speed as when the slapping happened, His right hand bent upwards and caught the oncoming forearm grab at the Johnathon's own forearm. His left arm resting on top of the right one. There was no further motion from Halfuo until the kick was attempted. Much like you would normally hold a ball before you threw it upwards into the air. After this, however, Halfuo went back to not moving.

He figured this man would have a good offense for this situation, so he bided his time for an appropriate opportunity would arise.

[Waiit, I'm confused. What exactly did you do?]

61John Trio

((I forgot to specified which hand I slapped with. Given that you said that it a normal slap, not a backhand. Likely making it my left hand.

You came up with your arm to grab it which was met with my right hand before your hand grabbed mine. Halfuo didn't make any motion after that until you came with the kick. Which almost hit, given that you kicked from your back end.

This meant that it would take a little more time to reach than if you would used your front end leg. With the right hand occupied, the left hand came around and grabbed your leg a little before it reached his side. The grabbing being underhanded. If you pulled your leg up, your chance of freeing it would be greater than if you pushed down.

Anyways, after the grabbing, Halfuo did nothing. He is a character with more for speed rather than power, unlike Trio.))

((Here we go.))

In pretty much the same speed as when the slapping happened, His right hand bent upwards and caught the oncoming forearm grab at the Johnathon's own forearm. His left arm resting on top of the right one. There was no further motion from Halfuo until the kick was attempted. Which, then His left arm shot to out to catch the kick between the knee of ankle in a underhanded manner, just as it reached the side. Much like you would normally hold a ball before you threw it upwards into the air.

The kick did not hit with full force, however, there was some damage to his side. It wasn't a whole lot, but it was enough to show a bruise starting to form on the side. Another hit to there and Halfuo would definately start feeling pain.

After this, however, Halfuo went back to not moving. He figured this man would have a good offense for this situation, so he bided his time for an appropriate opportunity would arise.

66Master Nemesis

[Since you didn't specify which part of my arm you grabbed, I'm ging to assume it's my wrist.]

Johnathan felt his foot intercepted, but not before he made contact. He judged from the feel of it that he had done some damage, and filed that away for future reference. For now, he needed to deal with his current situation. Suddenly, his left hand was grasping the wrist of Halfuo's right arm. Making certain he had a firm grip, Johnathan began to twist his arm. This would force his opponent to release his hold on Johnathan's wrist, and put him in a bit of an awkward position. Once Halfuo's elbow was facing upwards, Johnathan would raise his right arm up, like he was reaching behind his back. Then, with speed that matched Halfuo's, he would bring it back down, aiming his elbow at the other competitor's forearm. The force he would be using using, combined with the metal inside the elbow pad, would be sufficient to snap bone. Needless to say, that would hamper him severely.

67John Trio

((I can follow you grasping the wrist as well everything else except for one thing. The twist of the arm at the wrist. So, I took a soda can into left hand (my non-primary hand. So it would be my weaker one). Held it lightly in the hand. Though, Halfuo isn't gripping lightly on your hand.

Anyways, using my right hand, I twisted the wrist of my left hand in the same manner you have posted. Hard enough to cause a not-so-nice amount of pain in my left hand. However, one thing I did notice, my hand did not loosen on its grip of the soda can at all. So please explain and your teammates can also speak on the manner as well. One thing I am trying to learn is the actual physics behind injuries caused in this kinda manner.))

[Well, what I meant is, I grabbed you at the base of your hand, the area where it's your hand Im taking hold of, but it's technically still part of the wrist. I wasn't sure exactly how to say that, so I just said 'wrist'.]

69John Trio

((Okay, now that I know the area you are talking about. I tried the area in which encompasses the entire wrist and bottom area of the hand. Still the same result for me.

The result you are going for would have to be done by making the hand sorta do a snapping action. Like you would throw a baseball. Only the back of the opponent's wrist would have to be hit hard enough, for the snapping. Atleast that is how I think it goes. You would have to ask Hugin.))

The grip was sudden for Halfuo, but he remembered it for future remember. The twist severely loosened the grip of his opponent's wrist, but that did not matter. His reading of body movements told of what the likely target would be.

His opponent's grip would likely most resistly any force given off by the wrist itself. So as his opponent was nearing the top of the right of the elbow, Halfuo suddenly and powerfully pulled his hand back using force from his shoulder and the area of his arm between the shoulder and elbow. Since his opponent was gonna be using Halfuo's speed rating, it would hard to stop his opponent's elbow from crashing down on his own gripping hand.

Unfortunately for Halfuo, he didn't count on the fact that Johnathan had strength and reflexes greater than that of the average human. Almost as soon as he felt the tug on his arm, he began pulling back in the other direction. In the couple of milliseconds it took to equal his opponent's strength, Johnathan's arm was pulled forward a few inches, just short of putting his hand beneath the blow. He mangaed to stop the movement there, and it now put Halfuo's wrist beneath his descending elbow, which was now only inches away. If it smashed there, it wouldn't hamper him quite as effectively, but it would still pulverize the bone and cause serious pain.

[5/17]

73John Trio

((1. This next one would be number 6 for you. You skipped one from during the OOC discussion. 2. Who on gaia DOESN'T have strength and reflexes than that of the average human. smilies/icon_xd.gif meant as a joke 3. I almost forgot about the bracers he had on.))

Well one option one was out, so there was few options left. So, to deal with it, he suddenly moved forward. His opponent was pre-occupied with the elbow. The moving forward as well as the opponent's grip would cause his arm to bend inward, his hand to move forward a little bit from the bending, causing the elbow to hit his bracer. There would be a nice dent in it, but the force from the elbow would cause it to move downward.

If the arm was still straightened out, then the elbow would caused some damage to his bone. However, the arm was made bendable, so the force caused it to move toward the arm to move toward the floor.

Also, the forward rushing would cause his left arm to be straightened out to hold the man's leg that had kicked in the past. But, it was also a nice setup for a headbutt. Right at the center of the face to go for atleast a broken nose.

((Iffy post number 8549849324892389.))

((Take the post and respond to it if you wish. Reallife is unexpectedly starting to severely interfere with my online time at this and over the next few days. If the latter, now might be a good time to do so. So progression in this tournament can happen sooner.))

75Master Nemesis

Johnathan let out a soft growl of irritation as his elbow struck the bracer, denting it. But even if he did not cause any physical injury, that dent would severely hamper the movement of his wrist, so there was a small victory. However, he still had to resolve his current situation, and so, again, he filed that information away for future reference. When Halfuo was getting close, he saw his head leaning forward, in what was obviously going to be a headbutt to the center of his face. So, Johnathan used a simple solution. He bowed his head like a bull about to rush someone, exposing the top of his cranium. Because of this, Halfuo's forehead would collide with the dome of his skull. Johnathan had the advantage in this situation. A dome's design allowed it to absorb impacts quite well, taking the force of a blow and spreading the energy out over the surface area. Whereas Johnathan would get a minor headache later on, Halfuo would get a severe shock from the collision that would no doubt leave him quite dazed for a few moments. Johnathan would take this opportunity to use his right arm, the one he had elbowed his opponent's arm with, raise his forearm up, and strike Halfuo's jaw with the back of his fist. If that didn't knock him out, which was very likely, it would at least provide an ample window of opportunity for Johnathan to land several more strikes. With Halfuo's head being only a couple inches away, he would be unable to alter his trajectory, lessen his speed, or even to lower his head further to strike with the top of his own head. It seemed that this match could be decided here and now. Then again, appearances could be deceiving. It all revolved around what Halfuo did next.

[6/17]

76John Trio

While it was a nice setup for a headbutt, it was just that. A setup. Close quarters combat with a very capable fighter willingly taking a headbutt. Like that wasn't suspicious. More than just a couple of inches away, he lessened his speed so that his head would touch the dome barely. Then, he jerked it back suddenly before the attacking fist rose to the heavens.

Only to miss and leave an exposed arm. Especially to an unusual attack. Halfuo quickly turned his head to be almost perpendicular to the arm, rushed his head forward with his mouth wide open. The intent would be to bite down on the arm near the elbow on the hand's side, possibly seal that arm for future attacking for the time being, and possibly cause annoying pain to the opponent at the same time.

(STRIKER)

78Hugin the Raven

As Evan watched the fight, casually taking in both competitors' movements with a steady eye, it seemed that the blind Halfuo was in for some lunch in a serious way. Well, that would all potentially change in the next few moments, as he came belting down the hallway and climbing into the seats to Jonathan's right, ending up just in front of him. Then, he quickly placed his right forearm in the path of the incoming jaw with a straight, about one half-second before the attack came.

Now, keep in mind that the attack was not meant to hit, though it moved fast enough to be considered striking force. It was meant to, in effect, force his jaw to clamp onto one of the metal bracers that he wore on his arms. That was, if he didn't hear it first and was fast enough to withdraw his head in time.

It wasn't likely, whether he heard it or no. And even if it weren't enough, it would be a nice distraction for a follow-up assault by Nemesis.

As Evan moved his arm in front of Halfou's face, Johnathan didn't even pause, and so did not hesitate with his next move. His left arm yanked himself from his oppenent's grip, which had loosened after the blow to his bracer. His arm then snaked forward and around Halfuo's neck, grasping him hard on the back of it and pulling him forward with a decent amonut of force. Not only did this deprive Halfuo of an opportunity to slow his head coming forward, but it would make his teeth clamp harder on the metal bracer, jarring his skull quite forcefully. If that didn't knock him out, Johnathan planned to follow up with a second attack. His elbow would fire forward to strike Halfuo in the center of his chest. The metal inside the elbow-pad would crack multiple ribs, and give Johnathan an opportunity to finish him off.

81John Trio

As he went forward to have a meaty lunch, he heard the running steps of Evan. Being suscpicious, he slowed the movement of his head towards the arm to see what Hugin had planned, and he found out first hand what it was. By eating Hugin's fist, nearly breaking a few teeth. More than likely, there was a counterattack built behind this maneuver cover.

So wasting no time while Nemesis yanked himself free, Halfuo lowered the leg that he had still caught earlier for his upcoming move. While Nemesis was preoccupied with reaching behind, Halfuo quickly jumped in place, rapidly tucking in his legs. Then, he contracted his knees and rapidly with great power rocketed them forward. His left leg towards Hugin's chest and his right leg towards Nemesis' chest.

With Hugin and Nemesis being so close to Halfuo, they would experience practicly the full force of the kick. The force being intended to knock the wind out of them for a few seconds as well as push them back a few feet. In Hugin's case, he would be pushed into the seats. Accompanied by possibly falling to the floor with the seat arrangement. For Johnathan's case, initially he would be pushed backwards on one foot. Creating heavy imbalance as his feet would try to regain balance. As well as the grab attempt becoming nulled due to Halfuo's lowering body.

Now to Halfuo, due to the nature of the double kick, he would lose his grip on Nemesis' foot as well as fall to the ground. His next action would be according to his opponent's action. And his teeth would skit along the glove of the now released hand. Giving Halfuo further reason to see a dentist as soon as possible.

[I have to protest to this. You're body is less than a foot away from mine, and yet you somehow manage to tuck your legs in all the way to your chest, causing your body to start plummeting. Then you deliver a full frontal kick to our chests, when by then your head should be at about shoulder level already, and you have barely even enough space to put your legs up to your chest? I don't think it's physically possible.]

((Please keep in mind that my last few posts, I have not been entirely sure about myself. This is included in them. This 'jump kick' was meant to be done in place. Basically, jumping into what would look like fetal position. The body fliping 'backwards' a bit. The feet would be pretty close to your bodies. Then, use the knees to contract and push the feet into your bodies. With Halfuo landing on his a** and back. Best way I can suggest, is to get a Judge on this. If it is physically impossible by their ruling, I will change the post to something else.))

[I already have, and I have one more thing to point out. How are you leaning backwards in mid-air if my hand is behind your neck?]

85Kraun

((Yup, its impossible, especially at a distance inside arms reach if he's able to get his hand behind you.))

((There went my first attempt at foiling a striker tag. Here is another after doing some research.))

Halfuo would attempt his version two things that would normally be rendered under "Stunning fist of DnD" to fumble the counterattack. His left hand lifted up his opponent's leg up sharply and rapidly to try and hit a specific spot on Hugin's radius bone while the fist was still barely in Halfuo's mouth. For there was a pressure point at the radius bone.

Normal result when the spot on the Radius bone is hit hard enough as a pressure point Wrote:
  1. Radius bone: A strike to this area can result in numbness to the hand or broken bones.
Intended result Wrote:

Hit the radius bone hard enough to numb the hand for the rest of the match as well as possibly fracture it.

When Halfuo's right hand was free of Nemesis' grasp, it immediately shot forward toward a specific spot on Nemesis' clavicle in the form of a fist. This would at a speed matchable to the slap at the start of the match. So it would end up reaching the spot just as Nemesis' hand was reaching behind halfuo.

Normal result was the spot on the clavicle is hit hard enough Wrote:
  1. Clavicle: A strike to this area can result in broken bones and disabling of the arm.
Intended result Wrote:

Hit hard and fast enough to cause a temporary disablement of Nemesis' left arm for the rest of the round. Thus, prevent the rest of his oncoming blows.

Well, the last of the judging is done, and the scores are in and averaged out. Obviously there is going to be a lot of bitching, but its only expected when testosterone is flaring up in unbelievable levels.

Points are awarded in 4 categories, each part is worth 5 points. On a rating scale of 1-5 for each category.

  1. Did they break any rules?
  1. How long did it take them to post?
  1. Were they creative?
  1. Could you tell what they were doing? Also being were they able to describe their moves clearly?

So winning is not about beating the living crap out of someone, but rather RPing as a whole. Though of course, winning a round does provide bonus points, and contrary to that, arguements result in deduction of points.

Nightraid: 17 pts

Diablos: 14.83 pts

Hn... As expected.

Evan casually stood, picked his coat up from the seat which Nemesis had occupied, and put the thing on. After that, he walked towards the empty portion of the cart and looked towards the people inside, who were going absolutely insane. The fight had been a good one, and they had seen the utter crap being beaten out of someone. As he approached, cheers sounded from the crowd in the next cart.

He smiled faintly and drew his right thumb against and across his throat before bringing it quickly over his head and bringing it downwards until it was at his chest in a thumbs-down position.

"Straight to Hell!"

90Master Nemesis

Hearing the match was over, Johnathan immediately disengaged Halfuo, releasing all holds on him and pulling away. He gave curt nod of acknowledgement to him, then turned away, moving back towards his team's end of the carriage. Stretching out some, he grabbed his coat off the hook, and slipped it back on to his slightly sweaty shoulders. He then reached insode his coat, pulling out his glasses and placing them on his head just as Evan made his statement to the spectators. Unable to help himself, he grinned widely, even though he realized it was kinda corny and a bit overdramatic. Shaking his head slowly and still, he moved to stand behind his captain, clasping his arms behind his back and smiling proudly for the media.

91Hugin the Raven

He cleared his throad and composed himself, fixing his coat and standing at ease. "Pay close attention, ladies and gentlemen. What you've seen is only a fraction of our ability to lay a beat down. Our next team won't even know what hit them... all things considered, we were going easy on this one."

The reporters began asking a jumble of questions, but one stood out.

"Are you going to give your next opponents the option of retreating?" Evan smiled and shook his head. "Hell no! I've got more respect for them than I did for these guys. Besides, we've got the next one covered, just as well as this one."

Another question. "Which organization does your team represent? It seems as if you all came from nowhere." Evan's smile faded. "I'm not divulged to give that information at this time- suffice it to say that this tournament, from this point forward, is NightRaid's house. Now if you'll excuse us, we have a train ride to enjoy."

And with that, flash bulbs went off as Evan closed the door. He was lucky his shades were all the way up his nosebridge.

"Nemesis... we need to talk. Now."

92Ruuvan

Ruuvan took his place to the right and behind Evan as he made his part to the press, his face showing no expression and his one good eye staring out amongst the reporters whilst the digital link to his brain through the eyepatch provided a few extra details, but nothing worth mentioning or getting worried about. However, once the question of the organization came up, Ruuvan immediately turned his focus onto the reporter that asked the question, a thought milling over in his mind as to whether or not he should remember the face; it was probably nothing to worry about, but it was the first time someone had asked them.

"Damned reporters, always get too close to home." Ruu leant behind Evan and whispered to Nemesis before smiling slightly and waiting for the barrage of flashes to subside before movinginto the carriage after Evan and John. Whatever he had to talk about to Nemesis, Ruu would be right there to give more words if needed.

Johnathan had been watching the media, content to stand behind his captain as the questions were asked. He had a wide grin, which faltered for a moment when he took notice of the last question. But it was a quickly, back on his face again, though within he was churning with concern. It was now becoming apparent the publicity the GSF would have to endure if they did indeed come out victorious in the tournament, and needless to say, it wasn't exactly a good thing when a top-secret military organization got shoved into the limelight. As the door shut between them and the press and Ruu mumbled in his ear, he started to let out a sigh of relief, glad because they wouldn't have to answer any more intrusive questions. But, it was quickly cut short as Evan addressed him. From the tone of his voice, it sounded to him as if Johnathanhad done something wrong. As the idea that it must have something to do with his performance entered his mind, he answered "Yes si- I mean, Evan?" He caught himself yet again, mentally berating himself for the small mistake. If his captain planned to give him a stern talking, he was gonna have to try and avoid any mistakes, even small ones.

94Hugin the Raven

"No, you're not in trouble."

He smiled warmly as they sat down in a few nearby seats, and Evan's gaze turned stern again. "I have just recieved an update on my bracelet... have you boys ever heard of Sakagami Reiko?" The name should have carried a bit of weight, for he had been in two climactic battles with Vahn Kyonuske, currently one of the most innovative geniuses in martial arts.

He lost twice, but he made his rival remember him, and good.

95Ruuvan

"We're fighting Reiko next?" Ruuvan hadn't seen him before, but he had heard a fair bit about the battles and devastation he had caused, "It's going to be one hell of a fight, boss." Ruu shook his head and leant back on the chair, facing the two slightly whilst remaining in a comfortable position.

"What's the basic plan here?" He knew they'd have to throw almost everything they had at BIA in order to take them out, but he also knew they had a fair chance if they all focused and put their best into the fight.

96Master Nemesis

Finishing his exhalation of relief, Johnathan seated himself, saying "Well, I have absolutely no idea who he is, but I've seen his name all over the place. Who is he? From what I've seen he's a crowd favorite." He now took this time to relax, and stretch his stressed joints.

97Hugin the Raven

"Yes, it is going to be an interesting fight. As for your question, allow me to awnser that. He's a quite skilled fighter who was once one of the board members for Blazestar Empire some time ago- I really have little clue about that part of his past, but I do have him on record for dealings in Organized Crime.

However, he's renounced himself from that publicly, and we can't bust his a** for it.

He happens to be one of the arena's top-tier fighters, second only to Vahn Kyonuske and Enki Leviathan, our commanding officer. Not to mention that he has a series of organized fighting competitions with legal betting sessions before and during each match. It all checks out.

But I'm not concerned about his business- I'm concerned about his team. Black In Action seems to have advanced along with us- and they have a very competent fighter named Dashboard on their roster. Uses Jeet Kune Do- a very lethal fighting style, and one that's achieved legend. He's our primary target.

Nemesis... can you take him?"

Johnathan let out a small 'Heh', and said "Jeet Kune Do? I know some of it. I'm not elite class when it comes to that art, but, as the saying goes, 'I'm a jack of all trades, master of none'. If that's all, I'm pretty sure I could take him down, but if there's anything else, I'd like to know." With that, Johnathan leaned towards Evan, showing his interest.

99Hugin the Raven

Evan thought for a moment before remembering something else. "Yes, but it's not about their team. As I surmised from the opening matchups, this team is one of the three major obstacles in winning this tournament, besides Glacier and Femme Fatales. There are others, certainly... but not as signifigant until otherwise seen."

He leaned towards the other two, an intense look in his eyes. "No mercy. No restraint. They're purists, so no form of weapon-based or energy based combat. Other than that... I want to see thier imprints in the floor by the time you're done. We were gracious in this match... in the next one, we can't afford to be. We must advance, no matter what. Understood?"

100Master Nemesis

His facial expression became serious and determined as Johnathan listened to his captains last few sntences, nodding in response to his final question. "I got it. When I'm done with him, he's gonna be a smear on the tarmac." Johnathan then straightened up stretching a little more as he said "So, that's it?"

101Hugin the Raven

"Yes it is... for you."

He turned to Ruuvan and nodded. "Don't go easy on her just because she's a girl. I'd rather do the honorable thing and finish this before she has to fight, but if it comes down to it... tear into her like a paper doll. If she doesn't like it, she shouldn't have entered.

I'll take care of Reiko. I'm glad the ring doesn't allow STRIKER tags. That's just the way this one should go- because I want to shut the arrogant little p***k down myself. You will see a match to remember, gentlemen..."

An almost feral grin spread across his face. "I guarantee it."

Johnathan matched Evan's smile with his own, baring pearly whites which were a bit sharper than seemed normal. This was exactly what the GSF was supposed to be known for. Accomplishing their goals whatever the cost and taking down any man or woman who got in their way. It was a philosophy he could agree with.

103Supreme Jerk Commander

Chuga chuga...

There goes the train.

Chuga chuga...

So serene and peaceful.

Chuga chuga...

But that's about to change.

Chuga chuga - BOOOM!

An explosion erupts from the one of the rearmost cars. Everyone panics. There's running, yelling, screaming, cursing, and general chaos.

Then he appeared.

A man, standing 6 feet tall, packed with muscle. He had a pipe in his mouth, and two M16 assault rifles in his arms. He was dressed head to toe in black. A black muscle shirt, black jeans, black boots, and a black trenchcoat. Over his face was a black ski-mask with the eyes and mouth cut out.

"THIS IS A HI-JACKING! EVERYONE COOPERATE AND NOONE GETS HURT!"

He looks behind him to see the train car that just exploded go careening off the tracks and falling into the mountainscape below.

"Well, no one ELSE gets hurt."

104Vahn Fah

"HNNNNGHH!"

The grunts.

"HHHUURRRGGHHH!!"

Then the shaking, the rolling and rumbling.

He could hear the panicked voices, and the sounds of running feet. The side door flies open, as he was suddenly thrown forward, landing on his face and groaning.

His bare a** stuck up in the air, a trail of toilet paper leading into the train's bathroom stall.

"Who dare stop my meditation!"

It was a ninja, dressed from head to toe, in nothing but...uh... ninja stuff. Mask and all.

105Supreme Jerk Commander

Chk-Chak!

The iron sites of the man's assault rifles train themselves on the exposed a** of the "ninja".

"Who the hell are you?" He pauses, taking a drag from his pipe. "And think carefully before you answer, because I have two guns here... one for each a** cheek."

Oh, another thing worth mentioning is that this man is wearing mirrored shades. Yes, they're worn over the ski-mask.

106Vahn Fah

"Who the hell am I? WHO THE HELL AM I?"

He suddenly wormed his way forward, until he was literally wriggling about on the wall, then the ceiling; until he landed back on the ground.

He promtply pulled his pants up.

"I am Ryushin Kami-Locust-- the Frog Ninja!!"

He extended his right arm forward, index finger pointing straight at the gunman.

"Beleive it!"

107Supreme Jerk Commander

"That's good and all... but the truth is..."

The man spits his pipe to the ground and with a "crunch" sound, puts it out with his boot.

"Hans Spriggenhiemer could care less."

He then pulls the triggers of his weapons, allowing them to spew forth a barrage of hot lead. 5.56 mm NATO rounds totally ventilated the train car.

When all was said and done, 60 casings littered the ground beneath his boots. Mysteriously, no one in the car was hit, not even the frog ninja he was aiming at.

"DAMN YOU VIKTOR! I TOLD YOU NOT TO RE-ZERO MY SIGHTS YOU IMBICILE!!!!!!"

Who was he yelling at? No one knew.

108Vahn Fah

"B-B-B-Belie...Believe...i...t...!"

The ninja was standing there, arm still extended, finger still pointing.

But shaking like a leaf.

However, seeing that he was apparently still breathing (what a smart guy) he collected himself once more.

"Ahehehehe... not even modern weapons are a match for my Frog jutsu. Now prepare yourself!!"

The Ninja suddenly broke into a clean run forward, arms trailing behind him like rubber.

109Supreme Jerk Commander

The advancing ninja's reflection shown clearly in his shades as Hans proceeded to stand there like a badass.

"Show me what you got, ninja boy."

Once the ninja got into arms reach, he'd swing his arms across his own body, as if he were performing an "X" slash... only with asssault rifles!

110Vahn Fah

"Leap Frog no jutsu--"

Suddenly crouching, as he closed in the distance, he went flying up and over the gunman, those skinny legs of his somehow propelling him enough to clear straight over---

"--KAWATARAMI STANCE!"

--And try to land a double mule kick at the back of the man's head.

Unfortunately the ninja would also slam up into the ceiling of the train car, and get his head stuck there.

111Supreme Jerk Commander

"GRAH!"

-THOMMM!-

Total faceplantage on that one.

Hans lay there on his stomach for a couple seconds, completely unaware of the fact that his opponant had gotten himself stuck.

He would then roll over onto his back and assess the situation at hand. Fortunately for everyone, his shades were intact.

"Hey you!"

Hans releases his rifles and smashes both fists into the ground, denting to floor and somehow returning the man upright. Yeah, he's that awesome.

"Stop monkeying around!"

112Vahn Fah

"Incredible... hmm... to have survived my leap frog attack... This man is indeed strong... maybe even stronger than my grandmother, who trained me for 12 days nonstop just so I could wear these clothes!"

He stood there, shaking and rubbing the stinging sensation from his head, completely unaware that he was speaking his thoughts loudly, instead of actually thinking them.

"I must find a way to defeat him... and fast! My bowels are beginning to act up again."

He reached into a side pouch strapped to his thight, and pulled out several shurikens, tossing them wildly at his foe en masse.

"Have at you!!!"

113Supreme Jerk Commander

Han's shades do that wierd shining thing where an unexplicable beam of light crosses over them. He seemed unphased by the barrage of sharp metal objects bearing down on him. In fact, he doesn't even move.

He's struck in various places on his arms, legs, and chest. His head manages to escape unharmed, except for that one shuriken...

THAT HE CAUGHT WITH HIS TEETH!

The man then speaks, drool running from his mouth the way one would expect it to if you tried to speak while holding something in it.

"Ish thish all yooo got?"

The man then flexes every muscle in his body at once, causing all the shurikens to fly out of his body as well as totally rip his leather coat and shirt. As for the shuriken in his mouth? He shatters it with his teeth.

Of course he starts bleeding slightly from the holes in his body, but it's all good.

114Vahn Fah

"Now you've done it, fool!!"

He threw both his arms to the side, taking a step back as his projectiles came flying back at him.

Time went into slo-mo as he turned his head to the side, a few shuriken whizzing by as slow as hell.

"Ooooh." He looked at them, nodding, before standing upright again, time returning to normal.

"Leap frog no jutsu---"

He then jumped into one of the row of seats, ducking behind it.

"....Frog in grass...."

He lifted his head up, so that only the top of his head and his eyes would be seen. He then slowly went back down, apparently vanishing... only to reappear in the row of seats two aisles down, doing the same motion every time.

He would continue to do this, appearing randomly in this row, or that.

115Supreme Jerk Commander

Hans would watch the man's actions briefly before gritting his teeth angrily.

"Toy with me, will you?"

He reaches into his trench coat, fumbling briefly before drawing forth a grenade. Of course, but this time anyone in the train would have been long gone, so they wouldn't be in the way. He waited until the ninja would appear before tossing the grenade towards that row of seats.

116Vahn Fah

The head popped up once more, and the grenade went flying.

The head began to retreat, and the grenade went off.

Along with the upper portion of the head.

Which turned out to be nothing but a painted peice of cardboard.

That clattered against the gunaman's shoulder.

The ninja leapt up suddenly, from his starting position, finger pointing accusingly.

"You! You saw through my jutsu! You have the eyes of a demon!!"

As he stood up, several strings could be seen, forcing several "heads" to rise up at every aisle in the cart.

117Supreme Jerk Commander

Cue: shades shimmering effect.

"I was hoping by now you'd realise that your skills are ineffective."

Hans brought his right hand up to grasp the corner of his shades.

"For you see... I possess... Sharin-grin!"

He lowers his shades slightly, revealing his yellow right eye with a ' smilies/icon_biggrin.gif ' for a pupil.

"Your frog jutsus will have no effect on me."

He raises his shades back up and pounds his fists together.

"My turn!"

Then he stomps his right foot forcefully onto the ground, creating a shockwave that sends a ripple through the ground and sending the seats flying from their foundations.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!" He laughs maniacly... "HAHAHAHAH-OOF!" ...and is struck in the head by a stray seat.

118Vahn Fah

No..

His eyes went white as he was sent soaring into the air, seats flying all over the place.

How can this be...

His mouth was agape even as he hit the crux of his air time, body bent.

..The...sharin-grin...here...

He fell with a clatter to the ground, seats piling atop him savagely.

....you were right....Mr. Mclenon....

119Supreme Jerk Commander

Hans stands wobbily to his feet, shaking his head slowly while mumbling random curses. Once he regrains his composure, he walks towards the pile of stacked chairs and takes the time to just loom them. This casts a disporportunate shadow for the sake of making the scene looking dramatic.

Can this be the legendary frog ninja who defeated my father's chauffeur?

Hans grimaces.

No, he can't be... this guy is a joke!

The man thrusts his right fist into the pile of seats, aiming to grab some part of the ninja and toss him across the train, car.

120Vahn Fah

"FROG NO JUTSU: LASH OF A THOUSAND TOUNGES!!!"

The pile of chairs bursting, even as the ninja emerged, something shot out from his mouth.

It repeatedly slapped along side the gunaman's face, slobbering him up good in the process.

The ninja's clothing was torn and he was bruised all over from the chairs, but as he leapt backwards, he showed no signs of backing down.

His tounge recoiled and went back into his mouth, even as he remained crouched on the floor.

His aura flared widly into the shape of a: smilies/icon_scream.gif , which encompased his entire body.

He was tapping into the latent scream chakra within his being.

121Supreme Jerk Commander

"Wha?" Thwak! "You little..." Thwak thwak thwak! "Stop that!" Thwak!

After the sound tongue lashing, Hans stumbles backwards slightly, his hands covering his face as he kneels.

".....You...."

He slowly lowers his hands to reveal a shredded ski mask and a broken pair of shades.

"Grrrrrrrr."

He reaches up, grabs the remains of his expensive designer sunglasses and tosses them aside. They never hit the ground though, they are consumed in a sinister cloud of pink chakra and disintegrate into a fine powder.

Now he stares down on the ninja, his normal brown left eye burning with fury, and his yellow "sharin-grin" looking as cheerful as ever.

"You're going to pay for those... and I don't accept checks."

Hans' aura begins to flare out about him, forming a pink " smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif " as it expands.

"Ouuuu?"

Ryushin leap-frogged forward, his aura swirling hard to form the shape of... a frog.

"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!"

His tounge lashed outwards once more, aiming for various spots all around his foe's body.

However it wouldn't stop there. If he could make it, he'd land atop his opponent, and begin head butting him several times in the face.

123Supreme Jerk Commander

"Not again!"

A glowing pink right hand shot out, grabbing hold of the extending tongue.

"Not this time!"

His left hand soon joins the right, and he begins to swing the frog ninja around the train car.

"SAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

He could envision his father in his head, telling him to "Swing away Hans, swing away!"

And swing he did! He'd swing Ryushin into the windows, klutters of seats, cieling, and floor. Once he got tired of this, he'd give the tongue a good tug, pulling the ninja towards him Scorpion style!

"Get over here!"

To finish the attack would be one final swing, straight up- AND THROUGH THE ROOF OF THE TRAIN! That is.. should he get that far.

124Vahn Fah

Blood was everywhere, even as Ryushin was sent upwards, his head tilted back.

Noooo... I...was...supposed to...win...!

He went through the roof of the train, metal giving way.

..Be...lieve....i---

And was splattered along the underside of a tunnel.

125Supreme Jerk Commander

Hans jumps through the hole recently created, with intent on following his foe.

"HA! WHere is your frog jutsu now!"

He looks around.

"What? Huh?"

He sees nothing.

"Hmph, guess that's that."

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a new pair of shades, putting them on. Hans then pulls out a pipe and places it into his mouth.

"Typical."

He pulls out a lighter too (because his pockets can hold everything) and lights up, taking a couple puffs before heading on his way.

Dramatic ending music plays, complete with nonsensical borderline porno lyrics as he walks into the sunset... and coincidently, off the side of the train.
