AEKEA

Up in the sky, upon the highest level of the skeleton of an unfinished skyscraper, fighters clash in the open air. Thirty floors below them is a giant net set up to catch those who fall. Just don't look down.

Terrain

General - Naked steel beams provide base to move upon, greatly limiting movement

Weapons - None

Natural Element Resource - Air

Bonus Effects - Due to the extreme height fighters may experience vertigo, falling off the structure into the net counts as a ringout.

2Vahn Fah

There was a soft crack of steel, as something made it's presence, and weight, known.

Stepping forth with a regal gait, and mantle that covered a towering form, the Judge took his position to the side.

The HoH Judges are the supreme enforcers of tournament law for the duration of each match. Each Judge wields extraordinary legal power in his or her own stage over fighters. In addition to functioning as "legal administrators", they are also charged with the task of guarding the spectators who may be around the stage.

Every Judge has archives on every participant on file, and can simulate the powers of a variety of them in order to target its opponent's weaknesses. This was due to the data collected via fighters, in which DNA samples, skin samples, tissue, blood, etc-- were all analyzed and broken down once a FIGHTER came into contact with the actual wearer.

With the appearance of the Judge, the match was slated to begin.

3[Yusuke Urameshi]

The sound of machinery and gears turning could be heard as a construction shaft rises up each unfinished level of this building, used during worktime by the construction team. However, the people that were about to participate here could be called the destruction team, as there will no doubt be some damage of some type sooner of later atop this metal skyscraper. When the elevator reaches the roof, the doors slide open. One person steps out, a guy dressed in a white sleeveless top with a japanese symbol on the back of it that translater in English to "Heaven." This top would stuff into the pants that stopped almost at his shins, with white socks and black thin shoes on his feet. His hair was glossy black and greased back, with only some small bangs brushing against his forehead.

The guy was 18 years old. And his name was Yusuke Urameshi, the spirit detective who has kicked more kiksters in his life than homework. He wasn't exactly booksmart, but he was intelligent enough to know common sense when it was in front of him. And today, it was time for him and his teammates to show the world what Team Urameshi was made of. But the part couldn't start without the others, Yusuke standing there with his arms resting into a fold as he decides to wait on the arrival of their chosen opponents. But until then, the rest of his team should be exiting the elevator, too.

4Emerald Destruction

"Deja vu all over again."

Walking behind the detective was no other than the a bit over fight feet demon known as Hiei, wearing his usual ebony cloak, white scark, and white headband. His hair was more unique, spiky and a bit triangular in shape. But it was a natural hairstayle, so he saw no shame in sporting it. He didn't care, anyway, if he was made fun because of it. Those who talked would soon meet the wrath of this demon who gave little care for anyone's lives besides those he called allies. He kept his hands casually in his pockets upon stepping out, and keeps a bit behind Yusuke. Their opponents weren't here yet, which was a bother. He hated waiting.

"The last time we were on a skyscraper, the living world was nearly on the brink of destruction." He chuckles. "How ironic that this time, we fight on more honorable terms."

5Knight24

At the bottom of said skyscraper, a Volkswagon Golf MkV with a silver-ish paint job pulled up. And forth from it came three men. The one being addressed right now was Nicholas, the 'captain' of this team. A team of Lazy ******** who barely got to the opening ceremonies in time to get their FIGHTERs. Haaa~.

"Oi, We gotta fight here? Oh wait, Up there?"

Nicholas leaned back a bit as he looked straight up at the skyscraper, squinting to see if anyone was up there. Course, he couldn't see at this distance, but he deffinatly could tell there were people up there. How? How else? Like everyone else who's spent enough time on Gaia, Nicholas had developed the ability to sense the life energy, or distinct lack thereof, from a person, among other things. So, the man clad in black and red stood there untill his other teamates stepped out of the car. Among them was Dyne Tazon, who was being uncharacteristicly quiet, which would probably. The other man, Carius, was a strange one. Cameras being soul stealers? XD. Oh, and before arriving, Nicholas would've given each fighter their FIGHTER. Nicholas had to replace his watch with the FIGHTER. Hopefully this thing told time.

(( Dyne is in NJ, So it'll just be me an Vizzle for now. ))

6Valentine Hoskuo

Kurama had finally made an apperance after his long seclusion from the public. He walked silently behind Hiei making not a sound. He made no effort to say hi to neither Yusuke or Hiei. He sighed in his head taking note of where there battle was to occur. In his right hand he held a red rose that was handled cautiously with his thumb and index finger.

7DarthVizzle

With a grunt, Carius crammed himself behind his team ''captain'', standing in the corner of the elevator, strapping his FIGHTER on. Damn thing, it barely fit. Who the hell made these things? Whatever, it seemed to stretch after he put it on, not so bad. Damned elevator was a bit slow, though. The mand fiddled with his cobalt-glass shades, pulling them off of his face to clean them before putting them back on quickly, pushing them up the bridge of his nose as he waited to reach the top floor.

When the elevator had finally came to a stop, he would follow Nicholas out without a word, and let him do all the talking. After all, he was the least lazy out of them. Why not let him do all the talking?

8Knight24

And so, they were on the top floor now. No need to waste time with multiple posts of how they got up there. Nicholas would just stretch a bit, glance back at Carius and Dyne, then look at the opposing team. He'd seen one of them a long time ago, back in the Lu Bu dojo, but he couldn't remember it. His memory was s**t nowadays. Oh well, didn't interfere with his fighting ability. And he'd seen that Kurama guy not too long ago at Clash's Kombat Klub, and suddenly, Nicholas remembered something... Clash never gave him his prize money! Oh well. Though, by the howls of whatever crowd was nearby, his team obviously wasn't the favorite to win.

"So... You're our opponents huh?"

Quite the hieght difference between everyone there and the dude in the black cloak. Not even five feet tall. Would be funny if he ended up fighting Carius. Anyways, Nicholas would look over his opponents and assess what weapons they had. Nicholas himself had armor on his left arm and a sword at his left hip, along with a bracelet with three orbs of metal on his right wrist below his FIGHTER.

"So, Who's on who?"

Nicholas shifted from one foot to the other as he stood there, getting fairly impatient.

9Dyne Tazon

Dyne was at the end of the line of Team XD. The Tazon had not seen the opposing team in action, so this would be a first. Dyne would have to improvise when it came to the terrain and whomever he would have to face off.

Nicholas shifted from one foot to the other as he stood there, getting fairly impatient. " I will take the one named Carius or Horekoshu." Kurama said firmly leaving it until later for him to deicide which one he would take. It would probably be Carius that he fought because Hiei is far to vertically challenged to fight Carius. " You two can pick whomever you choose." Kurama would ignore the cheering crowd seeing as how his team was somehow favorite to win. Actually it was rather odd compared to how in the Dark Tournament everyone wanted to see his blood paint the ring.

11DarthVizzle

''Hore hasn't arrived yet. I'm Carius, and if ya don't mind, I'd rather fight the smallest of ya. I figure his style an' mine are radically different, so I think it'd be interestin' for both of us, and for the crowds. They don't wanna see the best matches between the possibly similar, they wanna see two very different fighters try to smash each other's face in, and I'd wager he and I are about the two closest things to polar opposites that are standing here on this building. And if no one minds, I think it's safe to say that he and I can fight first, unless anyone else has any sort of objections to that?.''

Carius grinned his toothy grin after speaking. That was probably the most'd he'd spoken to date in front of his allies, his enemies, or the press (who are the enemies of all, and thus deserve their own category). The fans and reporters who could hear him speak were eating it up, as some of them had probably not even heard him speak at all.

Whether or not his opponent would comply to his request, he would prepare to fight anyways. He quickly removed his shirt and boots, taking off his shades and clipping them to the leather strap of his necklace. He threw all his shirt and boots into the service elevator and returned, idly stretching his muscles, the tattooes covering his body faintly shifting and twisting on his skin, as if they were alive.

He'd have nothing more to say until he heard his opponent's reply, whether it came when he was stretching, or (partially) disrobing for the fight.

12Koenma Jr.

Koenma escorted Yukina into the small bleachers that were placed around the high skyscraper, well out of harm's way. "Here, Yukina, we'll be safe over here," he said.

Well, the man, although presumed leader of the spirit world, was a bit of a coward. What spectator would want these beams and rubble crashing down on him after any of the three team Urameshi fighters had released an attack? Knowing all three current members, it was bound to be a bit messy.

He'd disguised himself in a large black top hat and a white mask, complete with a very shnazzy obsidian tux, not to mention his classic trademark blue pacifier hanging on the right side of his mouth. Well, not to say that that wasn't exactly conspicuous. He'd fit right in at a cosplaying convention.

Yukina, trying to help complete the image in a red longsleeve dress and blue half-open jacket, complete with white stockings peeking out from under her knee length dress and black 'mary-jane' shoes, she took a seat next to Koenma on the bleachers, tugging at her red bow, anticipating the fight.

"Who's fighting? I don't see Kazuma, shouldn't he at least be here to cheer on the team?" Yukina asked meekly, the koorime twiddling her fingers in her lap. "Looks like it's just going to be Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei, then?" she inquired.

Koenma nodded agreeingly. "Kuwabara may show up soon, he never lets Yusuke go into a fight by himself. For the time being, it seems as if Kurama is a little anxious himself to get started, we'll see how Hiei responds to it," he said with a small laugh, "I'd think that Hiei would've started the first fight, that's very unlike Kurama to get so excited."

((Jeebuz, Claus! Play your character! Don't let your ego bleed into your roleplaying, that makes you so un-Kurama like! Take it from a fangirl! >.<))

15Emerald Destruction

Hiei didn't think much of the entering team. He was the smallest of this gathering, but it didn't bother him the least bit. He just took this as a way to show them later that big things come in large packages. He cared not for who went first, so steps forward, his hands keeping in the confines of his pocket, showing no sign of fear of the large fall that could be possible if either combatant fell from the safety of these narrow beams.

"Let's just get this over with," was all he spoke as he came to a stop, his sheathed katana strapped to the left of his waist. He didn't see any reason to draw it now. Maybe he wouldn't have to use it at all. They were to remain unfatal in this fight, after all, so he doesn't expect to ever have to use his blade even once in this fight.

He only stands there, now ready to start this fight, keeping steady balance on the metal beam, awaiting for the first move of his opponent. But if he did not take action, Hiei would have no problem starting this rumble.

16[Yusuke Urameshi]

Finally, their opposing team had arrived, which made Yusuke wear a smile on his young face. "Alright, let's get this party started," he says before Kurama speaks out of who he wished to fight.

"I don't mind," he replies to his red-headed friend till one of the guys speaks of wanting to not only fight first, but with Hiei to boot. He is about to say something till Hiei steps forward, now showing he was more than prepared to fight, making Yusuke fold his arms.

"So, Hiei, you're going first, huh? Show them what you're made of." He thrusts his right arm in a cheerful manner, as he was showing the same type of attitude. Guess that left the team captain for Yusuke to maybe soon fight, if their turn did come up. And once that happened, it would be time for him show off some of the things he learned over training during the past year. The Heaven or Hell tournament had now begun for Team Urameshi.

17Dyne Tazon

As the smallest of the opposing team would step forward. Dyne would be right stepping out of the line formation, without a second's pause, the Tazon would move forth.

His eyes gleamed suddenly, no longer the lazy sack of s**t burnt out General he had been only seconds earlier. His eyes would seem to grow a wall of steel behind each iris, his muscles relaxed, then tensed. Adrenaline began to flow. Pure. Thought Dyne as he sized up the target.

If the rest of Team XD found this a surprise that Dyne would be going first, then they really didn't know their former leader. Without a weapon in hand or on person, he would clear the XD line and make his way ever so closer to combat range which was, to Dyne, whenever the target would attack.

The human wore a simple attire for this match, white torn slacks with a belt to tighten about Dyne's waist, white and black fresh sneakers, meaning they were new and eh..fresh. His torso was covered in a black sleeveless top with a white blazer over this, finally his crimson covered skull, was protected with a simple gray crisp Officer cap, fingerless gloved hands would exit either pocket.

Lets see if you still got it Dyne.

18DarthVizzle

WTF?!

''Hey Ga-damnit--'' Carius began to protest as his team-mate moved past him. He didn't take off his shirt for the press to ogle the tattooes on him, he took it off to fight, like throwing the gauntlet (because he lacks any gloves or gauntlets to speak of).

''Ya mind if I.. Yeah..,'' managed to mumble. He'd planned on fighting the smaller fighter, one ''Hiei'' but his team-mate had suddenly stepped forth. Carius followed close behind. He didn't want to fight a hippy or some high-school drop-out, and damn it, he didn't plan on it. He tapped Dyne on the back of his shoulder idly before inching back off the same beam that they were standing on, allowing him to move back.

''I was gon' fight him, but uuh.. If you wan' go head. I just figured it'd be more interesting fighting the short fella,'' Carius said, his voice half-hearted. He'd wanted to fight, but he was naturally courteous, and trying to put it simply that ''it was his turn first'' didn't sit well with him. But hell, he'd had a few, why not try?

19Valentine Hoskuo

Kurama watched as the man stepped out in front of the tall one. Either the tall was not very tough and merely a good actor, or this one who had stepped up is a force to be feared. " Yusuke, I don't have a good feeling about this one. I hope that Hiei won't have to use the dragon in his first fight."

20Knight24

Nicholas just remaine standing there, yawning.

"Just remember Dyne, Killing is punishable by disqualification..."

Nicholas didn't really care if Dyne killed the short dude at all, he just didn't want Dyne to get disqualified in their first match. That'd suck.

21Emerald Destruction

Hiei could see the big one starting to become dissatisfied with having to be placed behind of this Dyne. He didn't care who he would fight, but he wanted to show a little bit of honor and grant his wish. He gives a grin before speaking.

"I really do not care which one of you go first, but I'll make it easy for you all and have Kurama go ahead of me. Let's just say, I'm doing your willing teammate a favor."

Hiei would chuckle lightly as he steps back, eyeing Kurama now. "As much as I dislike it, I'll give you this chance to go first. I can see the hunger of battle lighting your eyes, Kurama, very unusual of you. I want to get the pleasure of seeing if you learned some new tricks myself. Don't disappoint us."

22Kuwabara~Warrior of Love

The elevator would be coming back up after a while, someone else riding it up. When the doors open, Kuwabara steps out, his white headband flowing in the wind atop this half-built building. He was standing proud and strong, looking serious in the face and strength in his eyes. "Don't start the party without me," the familiar voice of Team Urameshi's only full-blood human would say.

He walks over and suddenly swallows as he looks down below, sweat forming on his face. "Are you guys sure it's safe up here? I mean, that is a long way down and all, hehe." The nervous Kuwabara would step away from the egde and looks toward the other team. He wasn't expecting to fight, but he did want to be up here to stand by and support his friends, especially Urameshi. If it came to it, he would back up the team as a Striker.

23Knight24

"Oh lord, this is going to take forever..."

Nicholas seriously felt like just drawing his sword and charging straight into his opponents, swinging wildly. But, he didn't. He was too lazy. So, he pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, smoking while he waited. Maybe the smoke would disturb his opponents. The gay rose man was gonna fight then huh? He wasn't very impressive durring K3T, and Nicholas knew that any member of his team could take down Kurama with ease. And K3T wasn't that long ago, so he knew there couldn't have been much improvement since then without him having gotten a lot of help.

"Hurry up and start the face poundin'!"

"Yeah!"

"Get 'em Team Urameshi!"

"'Ey, You're suposed to cheer for Team XD you ********!"

"******** Team XD! Bunch of burnt out fighters they are!"

And so, what seemed to be the only diehard fan of Team XD threw a punch at the diehard fan of Team Urameshi, and a fight ensued between the two spectators.

"I'll kill you!"

"I'd like to see you try!"

"Why you--!"

And so, they fought and fought. The spectators were fighting more then the fighters! Shame shame shame.

24Valentine Hoskuo

" Very well." Kurama would say as he stepped forward ahead of the rest of his team. He hadn't planned to fight this early, but no matter. He would do what he had to and wouldn't have any complaints. His eyes scanned over the fighters once more and his face remained expressionless. The rose in his hand elevated itself to his nose when he absorbed the sweet aroma. " So, whom am I going to fight?"

25Dyne Tazon

Dyne, upon rush of adrenaline, had closed the organic beings around him. Voices were cut off, hell. The Tazon hardly noticed that his opponent had suddenly grown and became...prettier? Mmm!?

His gaze would suddenly shatter as he checked out his opponent. That...a girl? Shes hot...Maybe I can grab a few feels...hehe this is my lucky day! Dyne's train of thought was ruined upon hearing a spectator cry for action. Of course upon thinking about the....perverse, Dyne had stopped moving, situated upon a thin beam with relative ease, Dyne had yet to look down.

General Tazon would give the opponent a swift nod, then continue his relatively slow walk towards the opponent, perhaps a good 15-20 feet away. His right hand curled into a fist, his left stayed open palmed at his side, and his sweet officer hat, was still pretty sweet.

26DarthVizzle

With suprisingly smooth movements for a man so large Carius retreated, allowing his team-mate an his opponent room to fight. He slipped back to stand besie Nicholas before jumping up, landing his a** on the steel beam with a resounding thump and a muted curse of pain. From there, the big man didn't speak, but merely turned his attention to the fight that was soon to start.

27Valentine Hoskuo

Kurama's hand swiftly moved down to his side as it began to glow a white color. "Rose Whip!" He would say as the rose grew and the petals dispersed as the rose began a whip ten feet in length. Death plant seeds he had placed in the between the petals spread out around the arena. His hand was was relieved from touching any of the dangerous thorns because the section he held had absolutely none, and it was the only part that didn't. " Shall we begin?"

28Knight24

"AAAAAAAH~!"

And so, one of the diehard fans fell from the building. Which one was it?

"AAAAAAAAH~!"

Both, apparently. Someone call the janitor.

"Ouch... One hell of a fall... Poor suckers."

Course, if Nicholas knew the two men, he'd probably take all of their worldly possesions. He did it before, why not do it again.

"So, Who do you think will win Moss?"

Course, he knew he'd say Dyne, but it doesn't hurt to ask. And while he waited, he played with one of the orbs of living metal he had. It'd float up into the air and begin to change shape and form, changing into a miriad of animals and items, including a pipe for smoking crack. Man, Nicholas would love some crack right now...

"Holy s**t... They're okay..."

"What?"

"Yeah, theres a net around the area..."

"Damn it..."

"What, you wanted them to die?"

"Hell ya! Least there'd eb some blood in this damn place..."

"True..."

And so, the fans sat and watched, cheering for their favorite team. Some ungrateful bastards were cheering for Team XD. Didn't they know Team Urameshi saved the world? Team XD was probably sitting at home smoking some reefers and downing 40s while team Urameshi went off on some sort of mission. Quest. Thing.

30Dyne Tazon

Dyne would stop as soon as the big a** whip poofed into existence. Nice. The Tazon had no weapons, but he would be alright without them...possibly.

A sharp breath was taken, he was familiarizing himself with the way gravity felt about his person. The opponent's voice would slice the wave of concentration like a hot knife through butter.

"I dislike plants...especially thorny ones."

Dyne frowned, then brought the right fist straight through the air, in front of the equivalent eyebrow, as fast as it took for the "sss" sound to escape his lips after muttering "ones." A jab would be thrown from the 15 foot distance Dyne was at from the target, yet the fist was aligned at the target.

Nothing seemed to happen. Yet the General's bangs seemed to part instantly on their own accord...seemingly anyway.

With that motion, the match between Kurama and Dyne would begin.

1

31Valentine Hoskuo

Kurama would walk forward about two feet making a thirteen foot distance while Dyne talked about how he disliked plants. It would seem that Dyne hadn't noticed the seeds he had placed all over the arena. As he walked it would Kurama put 48% of the required spirit energy into the plants to start the growing the process. There were ten seeds total which means it would drain 480% of his grand total of 5000%, leaving him with 4520%.

That was not for show. Gravity instantly punctured only hairs from Kurama's face, in a sledge hammer of force, 460 pounds would currently slam straight into the pretty man's face, who knew what damage this would create, but on a human this would prove fatal.

Why did Dyne use such force? For one, Dyne was human himself, and was secretly scared shitless. Secondly, this thing was obviously not human, not to mention Dyne wasn't big on the whole magic and spirit techniques, melee was more fitting for his primal body. So in a last minute guess, an over kill of force should at least, if he's lucky, put the red head to sleep, if this was indeed an over kill. Though his intention was to indeed subdue the target fast without killing said target.

Then Dyne would feel very shitty and cut himself later on tonight for getting his a** disqualified.

33Knight24

Nicholas let the smoke from his cigarette billow out of his mouth, before taking another drag from it. This one was longer then the last, and he was just waiting for his turn to get some action. Hell, if it was allowed, He'd grab a weapon and charge at someone to start another fight. He wanted to get through all of this pretty quickly.

"Oi, Don't go overboard!"

Nicholas needed Dyne to stay in the tournament. If he was disqualified, then it was just going to be Carius and Nicholas with Notashi stoned too often to fight. Damn kid didn't get the idea of moderation. And so, Nicholas sat there as Carius did, too lazy to stand up throughout the fight.

"Go Kurama!"

"Yeah, Kurama!"

"******** Kurama, Go Dyne!"

"Don't you say that!"

"Yeah! Die b*****d!"

And so, Team Urameshi's fans jumped one of Team XD's fans, and proceded to beat him to a bloody pulp. They'd then toss him off the building and into the net.

"Go Kurama!"

34[Yusuke Urameshi]

Yusuke noticed the arrival of Kuwabara, smiling in happiness as he gives him a soft wave. "Took you long enough," he responds to his goofy friend who was showing a bit of fear of heights right now. "What, don't tell me you're scared of falling," he asks his friend as he turns his head back to the fight that was about to happen.

"Anyway, we're just getting started. Looks like Kurama's first." He would now stand there and watch as the battle was about to start, his eyes lit up in spirit and excitement for the match that was to begin. He knew when Kurama created his whip from the rose he had just sniffed, along with generate the rose petals around the area, that the fight was about to start. It was when Dyne punched forward that Yusuke's eyes went wide, knowing exactly what type of punch Dyne had used, for he was very familiar in throwing the same type of punches himself, yet Kurama wasn't moving. He could feel and slightly hear the shift in the air, even from his place at the side. Yusuke wasn't too worried, but he only hoped that their smartest teammate wasn't going to be defeated by such a simple attack, from Yusuke's point of view.

35DarthVizzle

Unlike his teammate, Carius saw nothing wrong with the attack. He doubted that it would kill Kurama, seeing as how chances were a being that could somehow pull a whip from his a (figuratively speaking) probably wasn't human, and as such could probably take a bit more of an a-kicking before going down for the count.

''Hurr, looks like this is gonna be over quick. Good thing, too,'' the man commented, swaying his legs slightly in the empty air as he watched what could possibly be the first and last blow of Team XD's first match of their first round.

"Aw, what the ********, man!?"

"Oh, sorry, allergies." Oops. Wait, didn't spitting make bullets when it fell down a couple stories or something, Gaia physics aside? Oh, a net. That would explain the lack of splats, and sirens. The unlucky tossed fan would only have time to see a flick of red fabric after he wiped the loogie out of his face, catapulting curses back up.

Turning back to the fight, Mat fidgetted her scarf back in place, trying to clear her throat quietly in respect of the other spectators, and something of an apology too. It's not that she hated the smell of roses, far from it. Getting suddenly barraged by it like some magical shockwave just kinda...stirred up the senses, and she wasn't very well going to sneeze and gook up all inside her scarf.

"Wait," she muttered, leaning forward and squinting despite herself. "Was that just a whoosh or a bam to the face?"

37Knight24

Nicholas would yawn as he let his cigarette burn between his fingers, before flicking it towards the opposing team, wondering who it'd hit. Whoever it hit is who he'd be fighting, either now or later. Now was prefferable, cause Nicholas was getting bored of waiting. OOC-wise, time was passing quickly and the first fight had barely gone anywhere, and Kurama's author refused to post, so Nicholas wanted to get more stuff done, sooner.

"Flicking a cigarette?"

"Yeah, apparently."

"Why?"

"Who knows..."

"Go Kurama!"

"******** Kurama!"

"****** her! Go Dyne! ****** her!"

Apparently, more fans for Team XD were arriving. Three cheers for them, Wow! Ungrateful bastards they are. Team Urameshi were heros of the spirit world. Team XD were a bunch of burnt out warriors, who turned into stoners. Well, 'cept for Carius, he thought cameras stole your soul. And apparently, one of Team XD's fans thought Kurama was a chick.

" 'Sat him?" Circe asked, pushing her orange shaded glasses up on top of her head, walking into the spectator's benches, which seemed a little unruly. Trying to keep her and her companion away from the brutality, she looked up at the feild, squinting to get a better look at the flower-adorned redhead.

Callisto turned her head to the side, blinking. "Looks more like a girl to me... but I was sure that Helios said Kurama was a boy..." she said, as she pulled her mechanic goggles over her eyes, as the lenses tinted a cyberic green, zooming in on Kurama. "Well, he definitely has feminine features, but it seems to me like he's a guy..."

The two twin girls, looking about 16-17 human years of age, exchanged inquisitive looks, then laughed.

Circe took the goggles from her twin, holding them in front of her eyes to get a better look. "He's a ningen, didn't Helios' information say that momma fell for a white fox demon?" she asked, returning the goggles. Apparently, Kitsune wasn't the only one who could infiltrate Koenma's private files.

Circe shrugged, slinging an arm over her sister's shoulder, lazily leaning on her. "Well, at least he's cute."

Callisto sighed, strapping her goggles back to her forehead. "I didn't know you were into old men, Circe," she giggled.

Circe scowled, pouting. "Watch your mouth, Callisto, or I might just rip it clear off."

As the hair on Kurama's head moved his mind moved at the speed of thought to realize what the man had done. It was a move Yusuke had used himself against a certain mind reader who wanted to be the world's best boxer. So, with his reflexes activating he would start to move to his left while he summoned 80% of his energy to lessen the damage of the blow. It would still hurt like a b***h when it hit, but would stop it from being fatal. Kurama would be sent backwards landing on his back. He would get up almost instantly as the rose whip dissappeared. With Kurama being fourteen feet away from his opponent his rose whip would be much good unless he used one nof his newer techniques, but he wouldn't reveal that quite yet. He would take up a snake kung fu style stance.

40Dyne Tazon

A hint of a frown would infest the General's lips. Dyne noticed the buds about, the whip had gone but those damn things where still about, or was that just his vision?

Dyne pulled the outstretched fist back to his side, both arms now loosely at their respectable sides, Dyne would begin to dart forth, fear had left him, the feet would be closed three feet with each foot step, he had no where to run anyway, but straight, the Tazon was after all, on a thick horizontal metal beam which led straight to the target. He was using the shock from the previous attack as leeway for Dyne to follow up with a more..physical approach.

Though he moved forth with out hesitation, his mind was as active as ever. Engage.

41Emerald Destruction

Hiei scoffs at the attack just now, seeming more upset than before. "What the hell are you doing," the demon says in a mutter, finding that successful hit an insult to them already. "Don't tell me you've grown this soft, Kurama."

He was thinking of performing a Striker right now, just to end this match himself, but he knew Kurama was smarter than this, so would keep his place at the side until needed.

It wasn't until he saw the bud of a cigarette flying his way, having him catch it between the fingers on his right hand, looking directly at Nicholas with a unpleased look. He turns to face him directly, tossing the inhalant off the side of the building as he brings his right hand up, making it into a fist.

"I don't appreciate you throwing your garbage toward me. However, if you want to fight that badly, why not you and I start our own little bout." A smirk was erected on his face as he showed excitement yet again.

Kurama would move his right hand behind his head and pull something out his hand would stay there for until Dyne got closer. " Rose Whip!" Kurama would saying pouring 10% of his energy into the whip causing it to form. The ten foot would lash out as Kurama broke his snake stance to bring the whip to slash across the chest of Dyne.

SMACK!!

Koenma smacked himself in the forehead, dragging his hand down his face. He rubbed his eyes and the bridge of his nose, a slight growl coming from his throat under his breath, his teeth clenched onto the blue pacifier hanging out of the right side of his mouth.

"Yuuuusuuukeeee..." he mumbled.

45Yukina Ice Maiden

Yukina blinked, as she bent forward a bit, looking at Koenma. "Koenma-sama, is something wrong?" the koorime inquired, "Do you have a headache?"

Well, at least her healing powers could be of use.

46Koenma Jr.

Koenma clenched a fist, his knuckles cracking from inactivity, as he brought the fist up to his chest, shaking in his irritation.

"I will have a headache..." he started in a normal tone, and stood up, pointing at Urameshi up above on the skyscraper, now screaming, "IF THAT IDIOT GOES AND DECIDES TO BREAK THE RULES AND GET THE WHOLE TEAM DISQUALIFIED!!"

Oh, yeah. By the echo, he was sure EVERYONE could hear him. He was sure that Botan all the way in Durem (keeping an eye on the Shinimusha team) could hear him, he was so loud. Well, he seemed to be whining like a little child. Not that that wasn't uncommon for Koenma.

"He should know that he could get disqualified for starting any battles outside the predetermined ones in the ring... can't he harbor just an inkling of self-restraint?! Not every petty argument needs to turn into a war!!"

47[Yusuke Urameshi]

Yusuke heard the familiar shout, having him look off the edge and over to the standing Koenma. His eyes immediately went into the =-= stare as he felt more than embarrased to have him here today. "What the hell is he shouting about, now," Yusuke responds. He would shrug and look back to Nicholas. If Koenma didn't know, two fights could go on at the same time, as long as the fighters did not interrupt one another's fight.

48Yukina Ice Maiden

Yukina's hands were over her ears, as it took a minute for her ears to adjust to the normal volume level.

She shook her head, regaining her composure, as he held a hand flat above her eyes to sheild it from the light, looking up to the skyscraper, squinting her large red eyes.

"Disqualified?" she repeated. Yukina wondered a bit about that. Would Yusuke actually start another fight and risk the team's disqualification?

Mostly all she could see up there were bodies, she could make out Yusuke, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Kurama in the middle of his battle, and the other members of the opposing team.

The wind started to blow a bit harder, as she put a hand on the ribbon of her ponytail, trying to keep it from flying away.

The twins turned around from the front row, each a bit frazzled from the loud shouting that threatened to make their eardrums bleed.

"What the hell--?!" they started, but blinked, seeing as it was someone familiar.

Uh-oh.

Now they were dead.

They weren't supposed to leave the spirit world in the first place, but worked it out with Koenma that they could go, if they promised to stay in the hotel during the matches. If there was a brawl, there wouldn't be any mercy for them. And by the looks of the rowdy crowd, he had reason to confine them there. Helios, due to his ability to take care of himself, had been given permission to leave and watch his mother's fight, while Eros was supposed to look after his two mischevious twin sisters.

They ducked down into the row, Circe and Callisto trying to stay hidden.

"Crap, what's he doing here?!" Circe whispered, her hand covering her mouth as she ducked under the chair, pulling her orange shades back over her eyes.

"I dunno, but I think this means we ought to get out while we can... or else we might not get to watch any of the other fights..." Callisto replied.

50Koenma Jr.

"Excuse me for a moment, Yukina," Koenma said with a bow of his head, as he stood up from his seat, making his way to the aisle, going down the steps.

Oh, yeah. They were in soooo much trouble.

"Now, girls, you can either go back to the hotel, or you can come and accompany both Yukina and myself in the stands," he offered, "It's your choice."

He began to retreat back up the stairs to rejoin with Yukina, when he looked back over his shoulder. "We'll discuss your punishment with your mother, later."

The two jumped, falling backwards, as Koenma had snuck up on them. They exchanged glances nervously, letting out a relieved sigh, seeing as Koenma was giving them a choice.

"Yessir," they answered nervously, as they took a seat next to Yukina.

By now, Carius was hanging upside down, latched to the steel beam by his tree-trunk legs with his arms hanging down t'wards the ground, mainly to watch the mometary scuffle of the fans. And, to possibly alleviate some amount of boredom. Sure, he liked fighting, and watching it was okay, but he'd already figured who'd win in his head, and didn't bother to watch any longer except for a few solitary glances here and there.

''Ya, this is boring. Why don't we all just get our bouts started, not like there isn't enough room on this big friggin' skyscraper. Plus, there's levels below us. Pretty sure there's not going to be any interruptions if we all decide to get started..,'' he said, still hanging upside down as he spoke. He quickly righted himself, rising up to his feet, standing on the steel beam beside his team captain.

He moved to the far right side of the skyscraper at a slow jog, which was still untouched by the seeds Kurama had strewn, and free from any manipulations Dyne might have done, leaving them a place in which they could fight. He was hoping Hiei would get the hint and follow parallel, so they could start their own match. If not, well, maybe Carius was better off fighting Flower Power over there.

And by the Gods, cameras do steal your souls. Doesn't anyone know that?

53Knight24

Nicholas grinned widely, and slid off of the beam he was sitting on, dropping down onto the floor beneath the one Kurama and Dyne were fighting on. Long as Dyne didn't go tossing Kurama off the beams, the fights wouldn't interfere with eachother. Carius was now the only one who could perform a striker assist, but that wasn't a problem.

"Let's go..."

Nicholas' taunt had worked in drawing out an opponent. So, he stood there on another steel beam, keeping his balance with fair ease at this point. While he waited, Nicholas adjusted the armor on his left arm, and secured his gauntlet. If Yusuke does hop down, Nicholas would probably draw his sword. He was a weapons fighter, possibly one of the best, so of course he'd use a weapon. And if Yusuke was as good as people say, he'd have no problem holding his own.

"Hey, He has armor... That isn't fair..."

"So? It isn't against the rule."

"Yeah, but..."

"Oh shut up, most people on gaia can project barriers and s**t."

"Well, Yeah, but still..."

"Oh shut up!"

54[Yusuke Urameshi]

Yusuke follows the hint, as he was throwing a pretty obvious one himself, leaping down to land onto the thirthieth floor of this construction building. Now standing on the same beam and eleven feet away, his arms were to the side as his right foot was more ahead of his left as a stance of balance for himself. And then, he was ready, looking toward Nicholas with eyes of strength, determination, and sheer joy.

55Knight24

And with that, Nicholas drew his sword and began to walk forward. He wasn't worried about falling, and his eyes were locked on Yusuke as he walked. He held his sword in his right hand, pointed downwards a bit and at the ready for anything.

"Hope you've got insurance..."

Cause, losing limbs was a big possiblity now. Oh yeah, Nicholas would close 2 to 3 feet pretty quickly and easily, and he was just walking.

56[Yusuke Urameshi]

"Heh," Yusuke says, moving his hands more forward, his right more forward than his left, still close to his abdominal area. "I won't need it." His left hand moves lower than his right, which moves upward, the hands each open in a grip like motion, Yusuke's shirt and pants moving to the exertion of spirit energy crackling at his hands, causing a slight aura to create wind around him, possibly warning Nicholas not to get too close. The crackle would act like lightning and strike between each hand, showing that they were connected energy-wise, synced in concentration.

1

57Knight24

[1]

Nicholas grinned as his assumption was right. Call him a psychic. Nah. Nicholas knew his opponent would probably start out with a charge of some sort, readying a power. And Nicholas had the perfect weapon to use against it. Oh well, that'll come later, when his sword's 'ability' is revealed in battle. As for now, he's moving a few feet closer, pretty much ignoring Yusuke's warning, as he's bringing his sword forward more and up a bit.

"Good luck..."

He'll need it.

58[Yusuke Urameshi]

An outline would form around Yusuke's body, light blue in color as his spirit energy is placed into concentration, smiling a bit as he displays a little of his cocky and unafraid attitude that he always presented to any opponent he was about to have some fun with. He loved to fight, so he hoped Nicholas would make his first match one to remember.

The closer Nicholas would get, the greater power he would feel before everything will calm down, Yusuke's stance remaining how it is. Yet, the spirit energy field would remain. He would slide his right foot forward by a foot, then his left follows, keeping in the same positioning of his body as before. And he does it again. While Nicholas approached him with a walk, Yusuke did the same with more of a shuffling type of movement, yet slower and more careful. He wasn't scared of falling or anything. This was just his way of starting a fight with making his motives nearly unknown.

Five feet between them both now.

2

59Knight24

[2]

Bingo!

The moment the field of spirit energy would come into contact with the blade of Nicholas' sword, it more than likely disapate, due to the anti-magic effects of the blade, and the fact spirit energy/chi/ki/whatever was under the list of effected. T'was how Nicholas survived as long as he has on gaia, what with more and more people gaining powers that would probably be called bullshit. And what with Nicholas basically being human, he needed the sword to survive in most places.

As for what he was doing, he was just walking, getting close to striking range. So, basically, his sword would cast away the field while Nicholas walked forward a few more steps. Perhaps Yusuke should be more careful with his powers, and with that blade... one touch and no more powers for a short while(2 turns per strike).

60[Yusuke Urameshi]

Yusuke showed no fault in moving away as the distance was getting just in close range. Right when it was three feet, Yusuke suddenly steps forward, his left foot touching the beam, moving in about a foot and a half. His right fist then strikes forward toward Nicholas's face, performing a cross punch, which would bend the elbow as the fist aims for the left side of Nicholas's face. At the same time, his left hand was open, and at the same level as his opponent's blade. He was moving in close range, despite the danger of a sword, and that is when his right foot would be next to place itself in front of his planted left, to place a bit more power into that punch. It wasn't a fierce give-it-your-all punch. Just a quick whack was what Yusuke was going for.

3

61Knight24

[3]

Bob and weave and... Strike!

Nicholas' legs would bend ever so slightly as his upper body would dip down and to the right. Now, it would seem that Nicholas would try to slide his opponent at this point, but he didn't. Rather, he stepped forward with his left foot as soon as his body dipped down, and thrust his left arm forward with his hand open and palm forward, to send a fairly forceful open-palmed strike towards Yusuke's chest. Same with Yusuke's attack, this wasn't a give-it-your-all attack, just enough to send Yusuke back a foot or two from recoil. As for Nicholas' sword, it was held in the same spot as before.

62[Yusuke Urameshi]

The palm strike will be countered with a movement of Yusuke's low left hand, pushing it off course to the spirit detective's right, sort of like a parry, a smack sound being heard from contact. And not to mention, Nicholas could probably feel the power from this hand along, as this field enhanced the denseness of Yusuke's physical attacks. His right fist had retreated, but he follows up with a quick left knee strike toward Nicholas's descended face simultaneously after the left hand parry. After all, he did move right into range of a close leg attack. If it hit, it could probably cause a lip and/or nose bleed, and send him back onto his behind if he does go off balance.

Dyne suddenly halted upon entering a 5 foot gap, allowing his right leg to slant before his left at a horizontal angle, considering they were on a metal beam and all. No. Was thought of at the mention of "Rose."

Dyne's at the speed of though, his memory would remember the Red head saying ROSE WHIP and a nasty vine appearing within his grasp, before his first attack. That would not be allowed here.

As inertia guided Dyne a few feet more into his sloppy slide, his right arm would instantly guide at the torso to and stick out as soon as the phrase was done and the whip began coming down.

The Tazon, as stated earlier, had kept concentration on the gravity about, so it wouldn't even take a split second to summon an after effect of the distant elbow maneuver, and at this close of a range, the whip would have to pick up speed to come down, but it would be to late as a cluster of gravitons punctured once more inward only a hairs lenght away on the gut region of the red head, which should be unprotected, enough force to rupture a few human organs or bones, and perhaps a ring out.

Recoil. It's a b***h, but a nice one today...

Thanks to the parry of his attack, Nicholas was given a pretty good opportunity to attack Yusuke with a pretty painful recoil strike. Bringing his upper body back up and extending his legs slightly, Nicholas would stand up again and lean slightly to his left. Durring this rise, his left hand would go right back towards Yusuke, this time with his fingers hooked and the claw-like tips of his gauntlet aimed and poised to pierce into Yusuke's side. His hand would go straight for Yusuke's right side, and the claws would go for Yusuke's ribs.

As for the knee strike... It'd probably hit, just not Nicholas' face due to the rise. More like his chest, which would still hurt, but would keep Nicholas' nose in one piece. He hadn't broken his nose for a long time and he didn't want his face ruined. He was too pretty. XD

"'Ey, There's another fight going on!"

"What?"

"Can they do that?"

"Apparently..."

"Go Yusuke!"

"Yeah, Get 'im Yusuke!"

"Tear out his heart Nicholas!"

"Kill 'im Nicholas!"

Hey, Nicholas has fans! Woot! Time for a party.

65[Yusuke Urameshi]

Once the knee would hit, Yusuke's leg would retreat as quickly as it came, being assaulted now by a strike yet again from that metal arm. However, his motion switches from his left leg to his right, and that is when it rises into a bended leg position, as if he was about to perform another knee strike. The hand and claws would hit against the knee on their way to attack Yusuke, a block being performed against them. The claws would be blunted while against Yusuke's body, due to the density of the spirit field around the spirit detective. It was the reason why he wasn't afraid of that sword. His right leg would then unbend, his right foot now striking forward toward the chest of Nicholas, a push kick that would push his blade-happy foe away from him upon contact.

Yusuke could hear the cheering of the crowd, with some rooting for his team and some rooting for the opposing team. It felt good to hear cheers rather than boos like at a certain Dark Tournament. Not that it made his performance worse or anything. Just it was good to hear some excitement over good sport rather than over a desire to see blood spill. Though, the remark from a fan to kill them wasn't well taken. If he wasn't in this match, he would have went over there and gave that certain fan a piece of his mind.

He then leaps off, falling down through the openings that the beams created within their network, his cloak flapping upwards in the draft. Down and down he would go till he lands right on the 15th floor, halfway down the building. Placed onto another beam with a gracefulness that could have defined him as a bird, he raises his head and awaits the arrival of this Carius. If he wanted to show some worthiness to this demon, he would make it down here just as easily. Hope he was not afraid of heights.

67Kuwabara~Warrior of Love

Kuwabara felt left out after he saw all three getting into their own little fights. Yeah, he was an alternate, but he wanted a piece of the action. "Man, how come they get to have all the fun," he says in a low grumpy manner. "While I have to sit here and watch. But," he would add, smiling more cheerfully. "At least I can still add some spice to this little bout. Hehe, I'm the only Striker left, so that makes me Team Urameshi's wildcard. Oh, yeah!"

He sounded goofy, yes, but he appreciated the value of his position, like the goofball he was.

''Fine with me.''

Carius followed his oppponent without another word, stepping right off the beam, plummeting through the air like a rock. Or, more like a man-shaped boulder, one might say. He could see where his opponent landed, and aimed to land at the intersection opposite it. With a resounding ''gong'' sound, the tattooed warrior landed onto the steel intersection, going into a crouch to absorb the shock, spreading his arms out from his body to momentarily balance himself. His opponent had the grace of a bird, but Carius had the grace of a predator.

He roses slowly, letting out a deep breath, suprisingly calm even though he'd just fallen a good fifteen stories or so. Idly giving each glove a tug, the man walked forward four steps, moving at an easy, relaxed gait before coming to a stop, standing a little more than fifteen feet away from his opponent.

The warrior stayed in his casual pose, his face occasionally lit up by the flashes of cameras as news anchorpeoples had some how found away to get footage no matter what. The man raised his left hand slowly, turning his palm up, twitching his fingers 'twards him to summon his opponent, letting him know that the first move in their match was ''David's''.

''Let's get to it, then.''

69Emerald Destruction

"Hmph."

Hiei did not move at all. He just stood there with his hands keeping in his pockets, despite the gesture for him to make the first move. It looked like he wasn't following the guy's wishes, but he would see that things did not seem as they appear.

"I already made my move," he would say to his ready opponent, for under Carius's bare feet, he would start to feel the increasing rise of heat as the beam takes on a slight red-orange overlay color. The beam they were standing on was now burning at a temperature over five hundred degrees fahrenheit, and rising. Without having to move a muscle, Hiei had just injected the heated aura around his body into the beam, using his keenness with his power of fire to create a platform that would possibly make it impossible for this Carius to battle on. Would this Carius be able to endure the seering pain of metal heat?

Carius looked down for a moment, feeling the heat. Then he looked up. Still grinning. He'd done trials like these over his entire life. It'd started with hot coals. Then actual fire. Then heated metal. However, he knew that all those trials wouldn't save him from standing on the heated I-beam for too long. He was reluctant to do so, but it seemed that he would have to use on of his tattooes to get rid of this problem.

''Nice trick.''

The warrior pointed his left hand down at the stone while remaining in place, ignoring the first wisp of smoke that revealed his developed-by-training immunity was beginning to not work so well. However, it didn't matter. The metal began to cool down. Unrevealed to his opponent, Carius's tribal ''snowflake'' tattoo was on the palm of his hand, glowing a faint, dusty blue beneath the leather glove as a supernatural cold combated the heat, the metal cooling - albeit slowly - to it's normal state after a moment, assuming his opponent hadn't some how turned up the heat.

Still hidden to his opponent in his clenched fist, the tattoo remained active as he approached slowly, moving forward another five feet. His opponent would have to attack or move away soon, as Carius's reach was more than Hiei's own, by natural build in terms of arm length, and Carius could, if he so desired, safely move within a certain number of feet of the man and strike with fist or foot without having to worry about a retaliation strike as much as his opponent would have to. But, despite this apparent advantage, the warrior made no move to use it.

Instead, he opened his mouth to speak. If his opponent could see the underside of Carius's throat, he would see the dagger tattoo there, glowing faintly. He rarely ever used more than one tattoo at the same time, more out of personal preference though, so using two was no large drain on the man. As he opened his mouth, his lips almost forming a word, a dagger spat forth with suprising speed, hurtling through the air for his opponent, an emerald green blur, leaving a trail of some sort of smokey, cackling haze. The attack was aimed for his opponent's right shoulder, non-fatal, unless the shoulder was some-how his opponent's magical weak point of some sort.

71Emerald Destruction

Hiei could see that the color on his opponent's side was fading away. Either he was absorbing the heat himself or using some cold-related skill to draw it out of the slim metal platform. Finding that he was more than capable of taking care of that type of problem, it was time for him to start taking this fight seriously, as that heated ability was only a test of sorts. His hands remove from his pockets, but keep beside him. But his keen eyes catches the light under his opponent's chin, and also catches the projectile now striking toward him like a bolt of green.

The weapon would strike its intended area, but after that, only cloth would be struck as Hiei's cloak would be floating in midair as the demon himself crouches out of his wear, showing himself with a black top that looked like it had its sleeves torn, and bandages wrapped all the way up both of his arms, leaving his fingers exposed. And at his left, his katana was sheathed. No need to use it now. And that is when he charges, suddenly running at Carius to close the distance within a good second, his arms keeping to his side. He looked like he was about to tackle him, when his only action would be a stop two feet in front of Carius, followed by a left hook for Carius's gut. Such a strike from Hiei would not be the normal weak attack one would expect from a weight difference between these two. This strike would contain a power that could make a man of his size cringe over in pain, only from a perspective of an untrained man. It would probably be more endured by this big man, and Hiei wasn't doubting that.

Carius showed no suprise when his opponent seemed to dodge or otherwise get out of the way of the projectile. He already knew that the man would be able to, if he couldn't then he probably didn't need to be here participating in the Heaven or Hell tournament.

He smirked faintly as the man approached. With the simplicity that only training could do, he merely jabbed out with his right hand, aiming to use his reach to take the man just as his Hiei's own attack would almost touch upon Carius's bare abdomen. Carius was smart, he knew he could catch Hiei with a punch before Hiei got into his own ''punching range'', and intended to do so with his jab.

His left arm would twist, his shoulder rolling as he hammered his other fist down, aiming for the man's right shoulder. Normally a fighter wouldn't throw two attacks, but these weren't normal circumstances. His opponent was a great deal smaller, and they were fighting on an unfinished skyscraper. His attacks were fairly simple, all in all, as one would expect from him, if they knew him.

However, despite the simplicity of it, there was a large amount of power in the man's attacks, and his punches were far from slow. Each punch was like a jab from a jackhammer, except with more surface area. He figured the smaller man, definately not human, would roll with the blows, but one could never be sure. Assuming the twin attacks struck, they might knock the man from the I-beam, or even knock him out, or dislocate his shoulder. Carius didn't know the man's physical limits, he just knew that he could, in fact, do a lot of damage with his own physical attacks, when given the chance.

73Emerald Destruction

As Hiei's fist is allowed to strike into the man's gut, he will see the jab coming his way. But he would let it strike toward him, only to have it graze the left side of his face as it passes due to the demon leaning his head to the right as a reflex, while the downward force of the left hand is dealt with by a movement of Hiei's right hand, moving it up and letting it stop against the fist that was hoping to pound his right shoulder, halting it where it was. Carius was large, so Hiei would have to attack this guy smartly, and that is what he would do.

He lets go of the left fist, and moves his right fist toward the man's gut, going for another strike against it. But following it, would be another strike from his left, then another from his right. That's right, the demon was going for a flurry of quick punches that should hopefully catch the man off guard, all striking at the same general area of Carius's stomach. There was an advantage to being this small and this is where one of the pros of their difference would become handy. But he wasn't going to be oblivious to counter attacks. If he had to, he would either halt this attack before it takes it run or be stopped mid way. After all, Hiei was going to throw twenty strikes if this combo is allowed to take its full course.

He wasn't really suprised that his attacks were stopped, but now his opponent was in for it. The first three punches smashed against Carius's abdomen with the sound of barely covered bone on muscled flesh, the impact clear to those watching. The tattoed man's body twitched as his opponent punched him, but he was letting him. He reached down now with both hands swiftly, like an experienced river-man grabbing a fish right from the water, aiming to grab each of his opponent's forearms in the vice grip of his large hands.

Assuming this had been done, Carius would basically use his opponent like a ragdoll, using his opponent's lithe, lightweight form against him. He would pick the man up into the air with ease, and then would try to slam the man right back down into the steel I-beam with enough force to make a statue cringe. Assuming all had gone to plan for the larger warrior, the rest of his fight would seem rather simple; just continue slamming the smaller warrior into the I-beam until he gave in or went unconcious.

Of course, all plans had their flaws, he knew his did. But hey, if there weren't any risks, there was no fun, right? It was clear that he and his opponent both knew that, considering the fact that Hiei had gotten within grappling distance of the larger fighter.

Kurama had be left open by his manuver, but it didn't mean he had to absorb a lot of damage from the blow. Kurama would plant his feet and flex the muscles in his abdomen as the attack hit tightly packed muscle. The whip would disappear while at the same time Kurama's other left hand which held a very important seed in it's hand. It was a seed of the death plant, the hand went strike the right side of Dyne up by the ribs, or his arm if it were there. The point was to implant it in his arm to cause minimal bleeding.

The upward arrow key lit up in the center of the button. He tapped his sword against the solid metal frames at the ground of the tower. His blade shook from the sounds of battle clashing above.

"A battle beyond the heavens. Could this be a fitting end for a warrior?"

A grin fitted across his face, describing the blankness in his eyes. The elevator finally reached his level with a heavy crash to the ground and an annoying screech from the doors flying open. Swift step forward and a press of the button and away he goes to the top.

While the elevator began it's functions, Horekoshu set a blopper paper on the center of his tongue. The paper desolved shortly after and his pupils widened.

Alas, Timing was slightly off...

Nicholas' jabbing strike to Yusuke's side was sent durring his rise, and due to the fact Nicholas' hand was still fairly close to Yusuke's body, it'd probably hit him in the side. And unless Yusuke can stretch his knee up to level with his ribs, no such block could be performed anyways. Oh well, if Yusuke did indeed succeed in such a defense and a kick that would send Nicholas sliding back on the metal beam by about a foot, it would serve to Nicholas' advantage by giving him a bit more space than the little under one foot between them. But, if the attack was blocked, it wouldn't dull the claws. They were stronger then that, they weren't made of tin foil, but rather a special steel.

Alas, no matter what would happen, Nicholas' sword would come into play. A quick turn of the sword in his hand and a strong move of his arm would bring the sword towards Yusuke, either towards his side or to his hip. Since Nicholas' body, at this point, was turned a bit to the right, this would enhance the speed and power of the blow as his body would turn to the left. The impact would more then likely pierce or destroy the little barrier Yusuke had around his body, or if it was part of him, would probably disable his powers for two turns. No matter how powerful a barrier/shield/field was, or how dense it was, if it was based off of something the sword effected, it would be disrupted or destroyed.

"Yeah! Kill him!"

"Go Dyne! Kill his flower power a**!"

"Yeah! Come on Carius!"

"Smash him! Smash him!"

"Chop his limbs off Nicholas!"

Apparently Team XD's fans were finally there, and speaking out. Loudly. Least the cheers picked up the fights.

"Hey, Who the ******** is that?"

"Who?"

"Him."

"Oh... I dunno..."

"I think it's that whore dude..."

"Horekoshu Notashi."

"Yeah, Him."

"Boy, he's late..."

Well, the last of the judging is done, and the scores are in and averaged out. Obviously there is going to be a lot of bitching, but its only expected when testosterone is flaring up in unbelievable levels.

Points are awarded in 4 categories, each part is worth 5 points. On a rating scale of 1-5 for each category.

  1. Did they break any rules?
  1. How long did it take them to post?
  1. Were they creative?
  1. Could you tell what they were doing? Also being were they able to describe their moves clearly?

So winning is not about beating the living crap out of someone, but rather RPing as a whole. Though of course, winning a round does provide bonus points, and contrary to that, arguements result in deduction of points.
