2Vahn Fah

There was a soft crack of steel, as something made it's presence, and weight, known.

Stepping forth with a regal gait, and mantle that covered a towering form, the Judge took his position to the side.

The HoH Judges are the supreme enforcers of tournament law for the duration of each match. Each Judge wields extraordinary legal power in his or her own stage over fighters. In addition to functioning as "legal administrators", they are also charged with the task of guarding the spectators who may be around the stage.

Every Judge has archives on every participant on file, and can simulate the powers of a variety of them in order to target its opponent's weaknesses. This was due to the data collected via fighters, in which DNA samples, skin samples, tissue, blood, etc-- were all analyzed and broken down once a FIGHTER came into contact with the actual wearer.

With the appearance of the Judge, the match was slated to begin.

3Sunstrike

Oh great...more lights.

The reflections off all the slot machines raced through as after images in his eyes, half blinding Sunstrike as he walked through to the ring that had been set up.

Vaugly he wondered if there was going to be a bell and a skimpy clad lady announcing each round...he liked that part.

Grabbing a steel chair, he swung it around and placed the back against the ring.

Most of the crowd hadn't arrived yet, and even the media seemed to be studying some of the fights that had already started.

Sunstrike used the opportunity to take out a small box and a letter he'd recieved from the front desk of the hotel.

what happens Wrote:

Sometime the hotel staff will deliver a metallic box to you. The symbols and black material will instantly be recognised as the shades. Opening the box will reveal that it contains a very thick black liquid and an enscribed note on the inside of the lid.

The note Wrote:

Sunstrike,

Never have I ever met someone so willing to assist and befriend those that had so much redemption left to accomplish. Though I have suspected that this was never sympathy, but rather empathy. We may have never got to discuss it, but I do have a feeling as the humans put it that we have some common bond. I do not know what, but I trust you both as an ally and a brother in fate.

Reach into the box, and let this be a symbol of our unseen bond. But also let it be a promise and hope that while we may be connected, I would never wish the same forsaken fate of the shades upon you.

Omikron

Quote: Upon reaching into the box sunstrike will begin to feel something form in his hand. When removed the material will transform into a extremely tiny version of the relay creature, the size of a normal eye with a single tendril coming from the back. The eye though is entirely yellow, save for the pupil.

Omikron Eye Wrote:

A symbolic gesture between Omikron and Sunstrike, in which Omikron gave Sun a second eye so that he would no have to "be like the shades". While it looks like a shades monochrome eye, it is the perfect size to act in stead of Sun's lost eye. At the same time it is a symbiotic creature, physically and magically it will bond with Sun and soon become just as much his eye as Omikron's eye. It functions exactly like a healthy eye.

The only "supernatural" power is that it makes Sunstrike part shade. Thus he will be able to effortlessly identify friendly shades, and be instantly accepted amongst them.

It...just kind of floated there as Sun looked at it with a surprised expression on his face, then came a happy grin and a laugh. Brother in fate, eh? Maybe he'd have to find his way into running past Omikron again, hopefully on a more successful venture.

He pulled up his glasses and rubbed a finger against his left eye, spinning the stone embedded therein and pulling it out. Sun studied the rune on the back before depositing both in a side pocket.

Then, very carefully, he places the seperate "eye" against the socket. He keeps his hand stationed there for all of a few minutes before pulling his hand away, revealing a solid yellow eye and black pupil. It dilates wildly for a moment, before finally settling down, and Sun sighed softly with amazement.

He had always had problems with his own eyes, mostly because of what they actually were. Neither had been designed as tools for vision first.

Now...things came into sharper focus. It was an odd feeling, like putting a new pair of glasses on, and he found himself squinting a bit while he got used to it.

Thank you, my friend. He thought light-heartedly, before leaning back and waiting for the others. Dozing, sprawled out, as was per usual.

4Shouyin

Shouyin grinned, a stupidly common expression from the... somewhat young fighter. He had a strange sense of deja vu coming back to the casino. A check of the left wrist followed. Usually he'd be wearing a brown leather bracelet, but this'd been replaced with that Heaven or Hell mandatory piece of equipment; conveniently dubbed a FIGHTER. Not all the details were clear, but Glacier was fighting White Wolf--- and Lazenca was a member.

Damn.

Not entirely sure where to place himself, he grabbed a seat beside the dozing Sunstrike, facing the opposite direction of the lil' fire guy. Along with the fancy pager/bracelet device, he was all set for his second show at the Gold Mountain: black satin shorts that went just past his knees, thin lines of green and yellow decorating the thighs, and on his left hand was a black leather fight glove, open fingers and palm, velcroed at the wrist overtop the FIGHTER. The media element wasn't really affecting him, and those bright green eyes with the odd specks of golden yellow in the irises reflected that. He threw his head back excitedly, strands of silvery grey hair flying about.

"This party's getting crazy!"

5Vahn Fah

Leaning his head to the side, Vahn stared towards where the main ring had been set up-- which was quite a distance in fact that no normal human eye could feasibly spot what was going on in detail--- yet Vahn managed to just fine.

At least with his left eye.

As for where he was.... well, he reached and pulled down the handle of the slot machine once more, watching the symbols spin by.

Yea.

He was.

6Ho Shin

Tk-tk

He walked slowly and casually into the area. The sound from the crowd roared in his ears. After training in Black Ring for so long...the loud sound of the crowd was annoying. There was a small seating area for his team, and he took liberty to post up around there. Sitting down, Shin let out a sigh.

Well...

Shin had confidense in his team showing themselves. Misfortune had happened during the year of training, taking Halycanos away from their team. It did not matter however, this year was going to be better.

The FIGHTER on his wrist jingled a bit, as if it too wished to fight. But it was probably just Shin's relaxed posture that made it move.

7Silver Alexander

Glacier's captain stood near the seats two of his four teammates had taken near the ring, his legs straight, his arms crossed, and his head lowered. He faced the stage set for their combat, but his attention was not on it. His one visible eye was closed. He was keeping his minds eye on Vahn, easily singling out the other man's heat and energy signature amongst the crowded casino. His brow twitched in annoyance.

Silver didn't know which team White Wolf was, or who was on it. Hadn't they been in the tournament last year? If they had, they hadn't come across them. It didn't matter anyway. Not like it was going to change anything. Silver hadn't even bothered much more than just a glance at the FIGHTER around his wrist, just to find out where they were going before they had arrived. He snarled and grunted in impatience.

"When is this going to start?"

8Uberwulf X

@ Blazestar.

Riiiiiing.

"Twitch?"

"No, Seung, Mr. Miranda sir. Twitch tell me to call, tell you where to go."

"Why are you telling me where to go? I'm out with the kids."

"Sorry! Twitch say she get letter from White Wolf. You have to go to Gambino's Mountain of Gold Casino. Take kids with you to watch?"

"It's a Casino. And they're kids. I'll... take them back to Louve, and head out."

"Okay! Good luck! I can come too... no messing up this time!"

"..."

"Mr. Lazenca?"

"Goodbye, Seung."

@ Gambino.

"Deja- godsdamned- vu, I tell you."

The banners had the HOH logos drawn out, an elaborate bloody crimson with gold lettering... or the alternate, royal blue with the same colors used to spell out the acronym. Television screens inside showed other boxing matches around the world on different languages of different stations, but each kiosk had at least two televisions dedicated to HOH coverage. The team names flashed across the screen. Glacier's was accompanied by their matches, commentators speaking of last year's victory and its stars. The flair, Silver. The Rookie of the Year, Shouyin. The flame, Vahn. The salamander, Sunstrike. Polls were shown... the question: "Who's favored to win between White Wolf and Glacier?" The red bar indicating last year's champions dwarfed the black one for the challengers.

"Now to Team White Wolf, which has only one wolf on its team by the name of Lazenca Miranda. This is a match of ironies-- Team Glacier is full of fire users, and White Wolf only has one wolf! The battleground---"

Lazenca wasn't around to hear more than the first six words before the crowd's noise drowned out the television. Many recognized him, either from the Blazestar sponsor banners flying around, last year's battle, or the pregame commentary. A handshake, a diplomatic wave, and Lazenca was out of the major crowd and into the casino proper. Signs and lights in the distance indicated where the fight was to be taking place, and Lazenca noted them. There was something else that caught his vision, though.

"I didn't know you were a gambler-type." A bill slid its way into Vahn's machine.

9Vahn Fah

"Well it's not so much a gamble, as just figuring out what you exactly have to lose in the end of it all."

He pulled on the handle once more, the symbols flashing on by and slowly rolling to a halt, not a single one matching up.

"Then again, sometimes you just don't really care what the hell happens."

Not even having to turn, he knew who was speaking to him. When your CARRIED BY A guy for several days alone in the cold, you tend to not forget a man.

In a hetero-sexual manner of course.

"Life's a gamble right?"

He laughed softly, giving the handle one final tug, before standing up. "These things'll kill ya. Addictive and all."

Giving a soft wave with the back of his hand, he made deeper into the Casino heading for where the rest of his team was.

Without him even knowing, or maybe not caring, the slot machine rang loudly, hitting lucky 7's across the board.

Life's a gamble.

10Uberwulf X

"Lotta things'll kill you. Doesn't mean you have to let th--"

Lazenca stopped and turned as coins exited the machine. People waited, watching Vahn leave. They then watched Lazenca... these two were fighters, and would beat someone's head in fierce if they wanted to. No, better to wait and see if they'd be allowed to enjoy the spoils.

They could have it. Lazenca held his hand out and allowed a handful of coins to fall into his hands. They were put into the white duffel on his back, and he turned to follow Vahn. The rest? Well... the other casino patrons could have him. He just wanted enough money for a nice meal after this was over. Maybe a drink of dragonwyne.

"Last year was something. Let's say we give people their money's worth without all that pesky disqualification crap."

11[ Just Another Face ]

He was waiting. The megaton mechanical monster. He had been following Shin around, as per instructed. After all, that was it's design. Obedience.

And a** kicking.

So, naturally, when Shin entered and sat at the White Wolf seating arrangements, TOSA would follow.

The man of noticeable size stood and looked over the ring. Plated arms crossed over it's massive chest, the beast would look on behind a mountain of dreadlocks and an almost sadistic mask. The monster's palm was cut and sectioned, made out for maximum movement.

All was whirring.

All was waiting.

HEAVEN OR HELL!

BEGINS!

12Ho Shin

He exhaled, feeling the breath escape is lips rapidly. Shin figured he would get his last moments of heaven before opening up some hell.

He stood up, standing next to TOSA, but not nearly to his height...and glanced not to him, but down the way to the approaching Lanzeca. This year would be indeed different, if different was better. All that was missing was Tenma, though Shin undoubtably knew he would show up eventually.

With that in mind, Shin decided to get things going for the restless crowd...even if his team wasn't the favorite.

He climbed up to the side of the ring and slid his body through the ropes to stand on his side of the arena. It was apparent that he was going to go first on his team, but his opponent?

Lounging back a bit on the ropes, he called over to the Glacier side. His voice overpowered by the audience to a point that only the two sides would hear.

"Hey, you guys ready to start? If so, then send someone up here so we can go."

He yawned, no sense using any of his energy until the fight actually started.

13[ Just Another Face ]

From somewhere within the crowd, a small group would be singing. A group who had, apparently taken to White Wolf from year number one. And what was even more amazing, this group was actually hoping and prepared for this fight. White Wolf against Glacier.

Bless me with the

Leaf off of the tree

On it I see

The freedom reign

We are falling

The light is calling

Tears inside me

Calm me down

Midnight calling

Mist of resolving

Crown me, with the

Pure green leaf

Praise to my father

Blessed by the water

Black night, dark sky

The devil’s cry!

The words "the devil's cry" were echoed out, and what was likely more unnerving than this White Wolf enthusiast group was that in the last line of their song, they were all pointing at Vahn!

They had been behind Glacier's designated area, and waiting for the games.

14Shouyin

"Are you crying?"

"It's only the rain."

"The rain already stopped."

"Devils never cry."

The song may not have been directed at him, but despite any dissent within the ranks, Glacier was a team, a comment towards one was a comment towards all, or whatever. And anyways, every last one of them had enough darkness in them that they should all be drowning in an assortment of sorrows. But whoever the devils were among them, they weren't crying.

Yawning nonchalantly, Shouyin got to his feet, thumbing the black necklace with its strange dark rune before pulling it off and tucking it into his right pocket. Didn't need that useful lil' trinket getting caught on anything. Hopping up onto the edge of the ring, he tugged on the top rope and flung himself over, grinning wildly as he put his back to his corner, opposite whoever the joker positioned across from him was. He hadn't vocally accepted the challenge, but it was obvious who was going first now.

"Looks like this party's just getting started! Let's rock!"

ROUND ONE: FIGHT!

15[ Just Another Face ]

(( smilies/icon_heart.gif ))

16Ryugi Kazamaru

Beep Beep! Beep Beep! Beep Beep!

Shin's attention would be called to his FIGHTER where a simple message would be blinking on the screen.

"Good luck guys!

-Team Ryugin"

17Ho Shin

A grin came across shin's face, only for a moment.

Don't you lose...

He moved out of his lounging position and took up stance. Sliding his left foot slightly forward and his right foot slightly back...he brought up both hands. Both hands were brought up to about his chest level, with about two inches depth distance apart. The palms of each hands faced opposite directions, the left hand faced the right and the right hand faced the left.

His eyes drifted up to stare at his opponent. All emotion was gone from shin's face, now was not the time for it. This wasn't a game, this was serious.

DING-DING

The familiar bell of a boxing arena sounded the begining of the match.

Shk-

His left foot slid accross the top of the ring in a curved manner, moving behind his being, and pushed his body forward torwards the man. The propulstion from this lunge would be short but swift, bringing him into CQC range, regardless that the whole match seemed to be CQC.

Shin landed on his left foot, twisting his body to deliver maximum force with his hit.

His right shoulder rose up a bit and his right hand jabbed out straight forward. His hand had his fingers bent in and his thumb to the side, resembling a wolf's paw. He would aim to strike Shouyin in the chest area, right beneath his ribcage in the center. At the same time, his left hand would be pulled back by his own head.

Although a simplistic attack, it was meant to get things in the fight going...because standing around was pointless.

[1]

18Shouyin

Shouyin took a few steps towards the center of the ring prior to the bell, only getting a few feet away from his corner. He thought they'd both start in the center, boxing-style 'n everything, but from his opponent's expression that didn't seem to be the case. Surprisingly, the half-golem had yet to take a stance, just walking forwards with his hands at his hips, thumbs tucked into the waistline of his shorts.

And then the guy came in.

Shou wasn't worried about the exact nature of the attack, a punch's power came from the shoulder, and that was all he had to watch. With a rather sudden speed, considering the idle pace he'd been moving at previously, Shouyin would duck down and to the right, placing his left foot in front as both hands came up to act.

His left hand would move across the body, parrying the outside of Shin's attacking forearm and forcing the strike overtop his right shoulder, this'd happen in time with the forwards step of his left foot. Immediately following the parry, his right hand would come up from underneath Shin's own attack, stone hand opened up in a right vicious palm strike for the man's chin. Shouyin would throw his shoulder and hip into it, placing all his bodyweight into this blow and lifting Shin right off the ground with it.

And then, grinning something fierce as he held his foe all suspended-like in mid-air, he'd turn his right elbow upwards, grabbing onto Shin's face tightly and forcing the man downwards now. A good ol' fashioned BOOM would echo out, as the back of Shin's head was slammed down into the mat. One downright dangerous way to start off a fight.

But this s**t was just beginning.

1

19Ho Shin

It was to be expected.

Shin actually didn't know the palm strike would come, because as soon as his strike was paried, he reacted.

Due to his attack, his body was already twisting to the left, pivoting on his left foot. When Shouyin pushed his right hand in the smae direction, it further caused him to turn. At the same time, Shin pushed off of the ground with his left foot, making him turn and flip at the same time...moving over the crouched man.

This would make the palm strike come close to his face, making a cut on his right cheek, rather than crushing his face in.

As for Shin, he would continue his movement at the same time Shouyin moved his body upright, pushing into his palm strike with what seemed to be all his body weight. His body had only barely passed over Shouyin, but none the less had cleared him and was now behind the man.

He landed facing the back of Shouyin.

Pulling both of his hands back he readied what looked like a dual palm strike to the man's back.

His energy fluctuated.

"RuyonKonPah"

Shin pushed his hands forward, releasing an outburst of energy between his two hands. Although he never physically came in contact with the guy, the force of the energy was great.

RuyonKonPah Wrote:

Translated to "Outer Energy Push". This attack takes the users energy and outpushes it through a single point creating an extreme force that will forcefully push objects in the direction intended rather than crushing.

[2]

20Shouyin

NO ESCAPE!

As Shouyin's palm cut across Shin's cheek, he'd simply turn his hand so his palm faced the right. Instead of grabbing onto his opponent's face to initiate the smackdown, it'd be a big clump of hair, or the guy's right ear, or both, if the half-golem was lucky. A nice painful way to snatch the guy out of the air mid-flip and bring him down head first just like Shou had planned. Except now the way Shin landed was about as up in the air as the man in question was at the moment. Though one thing was for certain with all these opposing forces meeting to throw Shin down to the ground:

There would be blood.

2

21Ho Shin

There would be blood. Though not as much as Shouyin would have hoped.

Shin's head impacted the mat hard, and he gritted his teeth. The shock to his nervous system didn't help, but he had been through worse in his lifetime...and he would have to cope with it. Soon after, he blindly rolled to the side and away from the man.

As he stood up, he spit blood to the side and tryed to gain his focus back on the fight. He had a thin line of blood running down the right side of his head. Several times Shin had been able to do the same manuver and get away in a way to 'test the opponents strength'. Shin shouldn't had tryed the same method on Shouyin, but he did...and paid the price for it.

This was HoH, not a child's game.

His focus was back rather quickly, but he could still feel the warm sensation of the blood.

What to do...

A quick scan of the area gave him at least an idea...but with this opponent, he wondered how it would play out.

He pushed his palms together quickly.

"Ipon Da Kaiyryu"

The arena would begin to warm. Shortly after, Shin would resume a stance. He was ready to fight, although this time, he would be smarter. He stood close to the ropes, because that was where he had stood...but being close to the ropes was better than being close to Shouyin.

He curled his fingers inward, motioning to Shouyin.

[3]

22Shouyin

"Oh no," poor guy wasn't gonna get away that easily. The positioning was sorta iffy in Shouyin's mind, all caught up in the action and the adrenaline as he was, but it was assumed that during Shin's recovery roll, at some time he'd be lying on his stomach, and he'd still be near the half-golem. And that was the moment Shou would act, or well, he'd be moving before that, but y'know.

Basically, when Shin rolled onto his stomach, the half-golem would shift or shuffle or do whatever it took to sit himself on top of his opponent, straddling the guy with one leg on either side of him, knees digging into the man's ribs and such so as to restrict movement. Good ol' fashioned back mount. And then the bombs would start dropping. A continuous barrage of straight punches to the back of Shin's head until he passed out or gave up. Shou wasn't sure how the judges worked with situations like these, since a rock fist to the back o' the head was pretty ******** dangerous, but whatever.

Oh well, there'd be as much blood as this crazy ******** wanted.

side 2 : defense

24Uberwulf X

A yawn.

"He's on my team too, isn't he?"

Too bad he couldn't meet them before the match started. Lazenca had already seen the robot guy... no sign of the fourth member. He'd talked to someone to get his FIGHTER put on him so he was good to go. He didn't even have time to sit down and analyze what was going on before his teammate was being pulled down by the ear and Rocky over there was about to crack him open. Nasty look in that eye, Shouyin had.

The ring would get cold, before it got warm. Lazenca's head tilted to the left and from crossed arms, his right hand was in the air. A quick clockwise rotation prompted atmospheric air to mist, and the palm flipping and moving back to him prompted the actual icy wall to appear between the fighters. Of course, that wall was supposed to show up before Shou could finish the advance, while Shin was rolling away.

The motion to his own body? The not-too-thin-but-not-too-thick wall was going to probably snub Shou in the nose, what with it sliding an inch into him while he shuffled into it. Or the hands, whatever. Point is, Shin had a couple more seconds to do what he had to do, because he'd fought Shouyin and knew that the maybe-one-foot-thick wall erected in major haste wasn't going to stop him much.

"Hey, let him get up, I haven't even sat down yet! Make the fight last!"

25Ho Shin

During his roll, he heard the materialization of a barrier next to him. He assumed it was meant to protect him in his blind roll, because it didn't harm him. Regardless, he decided to make every second of the defense count and got to his feet shortly after the barrier came up.

It took only moments to regain his focus on what was happening, noticing that it indeed was a defense in his favor. Glancing to the side swiftly he noticed Lazenca, and grinned. He would have to remember to thank him later for the extra time.

Now to make it count.

He had no idea how long the barrier would hold out against Shouyin, but he utilized as much of that time as he could. He reached up and wiped the blood from his head, and quickly moved his hands together. After smearing a good portion of the blood on both of his hands, he used his hands to wipe blood accross his forearms, on top of his arm guards.

If the barrier shattered, this would probably be the time at which it happened.

He moved his hands apart and muttered 'Blood Circle' to himself before lowering his hands to his side.

[4]

26Shouyin

Aww, ******** naw!

Shouyin sorta shoulder-checked into the ice wall, but his head still knocked off it, and a big thing o' nice frozen water unexpectedly with your skull, rock or not, was no fun at all. Blinking, he shot up to his feet, green eyes flaring at Shin through the construct as the guy was rubbing blood off his face onto his hands.

His left arm raised, and two fingers pointed out towards the fellow across from Shou, as stone covered said arm, around the fingers and up to the shoulder, mirroring his right arm, which was now rocketing straight towards the barrier that seperated the pair.

CRUNCH. A right straight, and the wall would crack, fractures in the ice appropriately distorting Shin's features. CRUNCH. Pieces here and there would fall away, the other man would just be finishing with his blood ritual. CRUNCH. One final punch, and down Jericho went in a fury of ice that shattered like glass, leaving just Shou and Shin with a nice line of the slippery sharp stuff between them. Conviently at this time, some DJ or other with the casino would set a song up to blare out the speakers surrounding the ring as Shou yelled something out.

Prodigy - Smack My b***h Up

"Warning! The following may not be suitable for younger audiences."

4

27Just Three Words

'Click'

A flash would go off, capturing Shouyin's drilling at the wall with his fist in a small silver box, the image comming up on a much smaller screen, to either be placed in her favorites, or be deleted.

"Save."

Her voice would chime, the smile on her face bright as she slid the rope around her neck, camera connected at the end to rest on her vulumptious chest. Minute had wanderd off to watch the other fights, when she'd found out Shouyin was fighting she had rushed over to watch, nearly falling over where she stood as mis matched eyes would fall on the golem punching through the ice to get at his opponent.

He's doing a great job.

"Mhm." At that moment, Minute would jolt out of her chair, 'causing it to slam back into the man behind her, spilling his drink onto his lap, pissing him off, where such gentlemenly words would spill out of his mouth, and Minute, paying no attention would begin to jump up and down feverishly.

"'Ey Rock candy! Pummel 'im into the mat! If you win, I'll sho-"

Minute!

"Ahahaaa."

'Click, click, click.'

28Ho Shin

The crowd cheered. The music only added to the effect.

As for Shin, he smiled at Shouyin's comment...grinned actually. From here on out it was going to be fun, one way or another.

"Bring it on, 'Rocky'"

Although he was close to Shou due to the confinements of the boxing arena, he was not within close quarters combat range since he had moved away. Due to this, shin moved his right hand ontop of his left so that the backs of them faced upwards and his palms down.

Wings of a Demon shoots four 'arrow' like projectiles at the opponent.

Chance of critical, and Piercing shot (able to piece solid stone and thick metals)

As he pulled his right arm back, four soft white lines would emit from the tips of his fingers to his left hand. Shortly thereafter, they would burst forth in a similar fashion to a crossbow. The white lights would shift to a black and the four 'arrows' would fly rapidly at Shouyin, aiming for his left shoulder, right shoulder, left thigh, and right thigh. Since they were not immensly far apart, it wouldn't take long to reach him, as the casting time took little to no time.

Would it hit him? Would he dodge it?

It was HoH, who the ******** knew?

[5]

29Shouyin

Well, all things considered they couldn't be that far apart, and with all that weird posing junk after the bloody hands thing--- something was up. Even as Shin was speaking Shouyin would start closing the distance, so when the archer had drawn his bowstring back, the half-golem, in an albeit poor decision, was raising his left hand up in front of Shin's own left.

Shouyin didn't know what it sounded like to have four arrows go through his left hand, but he'd soon find out.

The stone encasing the half-golem's wounded hand wasn't thick, and not as dense as he usually made it for a defensive manoeuvre, since he needed to be able to move his fingers around, and as such, all four arrows went flying through, two sliding across his left cheek and drawing a thin line of blood before they all went sailing into the crowd. For some sick reason though, Shouyin kept grinning; not because those black projectiles were probably going to imbed themselves in a few unfortunate spectators, no that was a damn shame, but because it didn't hurt.

Oh Hell it would later, and it wouldn't be fun hitting somebody with that hand come next round, or maybe even this round if it came to that, but right now, with those green eyes burning, he hardly felt a thing. Might've been some Sokugoku voodoo, using his body's energy to dull those senses, or maybe he was just losing it, but as that bloodied hand grabbed onto Shin's left index and middle finger, crushing them in its grip and forcing them down and back towards the other fighter in a simple finger lock that stretched out the arm straight---

Shou was on top of the world.

Cue a step forwards with the right and a lead vertical uppercut that'd annihilate Shin's left elbow.

5

30Vahn Fah

"Well, that's hardly anything to worry about, now is it."

Smiling, he watched on, with the rest of the crowd. It was nice seeing Leviathan's number one rookie fight his former subordinate.

Both had progressed pretty far from their original, and somewhat lazy beginnings.

Part of him still wished for those simpler days of the Kyonuske-- but he couldn't stay in Neverland forever.

At the moment, he had no idea of the other fights going on around, in terms of who was facing who and how each was faring.

31Ho Shin

Shouyin was smart, smarter than the average brawler...and shin had to give that credit to him. However at the present time, Shin was smarter. In truth, the attack would have proven troublesome if it had hit. IF it had hit.

Shin wasn't blind either. When Shouyin moved, he was aware of it. Would he move? Nah, no need.

Now, even if Shouyin punctured his feet upon the ice shards still on the ground, Shin was sure it wouldn't stop him. But you know, those were still there.

When Shouyin closed general proximity to Shin, he acted. Shin would still release the arrows, but it was unfortunate that Shouyin had not reached to grab hold before he had launched. As soon as Shin released, he pivoted on his right foot in a counter-clockwise fashion, moving his hand and body out of the reach of Shouyin's extending hand. Furthermore, Shouyin's momentum of rushing forward prevented him from changing course in rapid succesion.

After Shin pivoted, he pushed off of the ground and shot himself backwards past Shouyin. This would become a succesful evasion due to the fact that not only couldn't Shouyin follow him with his body, but if he tryed to swing his arm back to follow him, he would only be following him...not making contact. Also, Shin would be on Shouyin's left side, meaning that his other hand would be unable to assist him.

As he pushed back, a glow emitted from his blood covered arm, from the blood itself. A blade forming off his right arm to the side.

Spirit Blade Wrote:

Blade made of pure energy. It had an added effect of ripping apart objects on a molecular level by splitting energy contained within. Can not be used for an extended amount of time as it is fueled by the casters blood.

So the blade would be cast during the pivot, coming in contact with the extending hand and proceed to rip through Shouyins left hand and arm horizontally from his palm to his elbow. Even after cutting, Shin would continue to move back and move into ready position, for whatever may come.

The blade had now dissappeared, but he had no clue what this man had in store, even if he had lost an arm. This guy was crazy, and everyone could see that.

[6]

32Shouyin

So weapons were gonna be a mainstay now, eh? Ah well, them's the breaks. But mayn, if Shin was quick enough to dodge a snatch o' the fingers just after firing his crazy nonsense, then certainly Shouyin could withdraw his left hand as his opponent turned about and brought his opposite hand around for the sword swing, and verily would the half-golem meet the strike in kind, sorta.

Shin would rotate, and so would Shou, right around to the left to face the man as he started to leap back, simply extending his right arm as he did and letting the blade cut right down the middle of it. Course he just reformed the arm with extra stone as it was sliced, but whatever. However, while Shin may have gotten the jump on the half-golem with the turn, they were within arm's reach just before the retreat, and no way was he gonna get away that easily.

Despite the energy blade within his right arm, the half-golem would reach forwards, grabbing Shin's right wrist and pulling inwards, making a tight and somewhat painful fist with his left hand as this happened. The intention would be to yank his opponent right on back into a straight lead punch with his left, the half-golem's left leg forward still, postioned in a basic fighting stance.

"Don't give up do you!?"

6

33Ho Shin

Ain't gonna question logic.

So it would happen that Shouyin would follow. Shin was only a bit suprised at the sudden grab and yank of his body.

He recovered swiftly.

Shin's body was pulled strongly forward and he immediatly moved to act. Since his arms were going to be crossed...again...Shin would move is left hand underneath his right to meet the oncoming fist. Now, stone meeting flesh would hurt no matter who you were, but shin wasn't meeting it with bare flesh. The blood on his left arm erupted and a similar blade shot forward, extending off of his hand forward, rather than to the side. This blade would impact first and proceed to rip and tear the stone down to the molecular level.

At the same time, Shin would bring his left leg up and push hard against Shouyin's stomach.

"Stop crossing..."

He moved his right hand hard against the thumb of Shouyin's grip, easily breaking his hold. As most fighters knew, the thumb was the weakest part to break in a grip, and could easily be done so.

"...my arms!"

The blade on shin's right arm would change position to match the left arm as he pulled his arms to their original positions. If any part of Shouyin was in the range of the blades, it would be sliced. As for Shin, he would push off of Shouyin, creating some distance before landing and moving away from him. At which point he would stand as far from Shouyin as possible.

[7]

34Vahn Fah

Because of Shouyin's.... endowment... Shin is in a bit of trouble. Shouyin's strength is in pure close range.. if that arm of his isn't evident enough.

Vahn watched on, over the rim of a bottle of water, eyes lazy yet his full attention on the ring. Shouyin was getting downright bloody and nasty in there, while it was all Shin could do to try and stave the stone king off.

The one place you don't want to be, is in his face... and Shin wasn't exactly the best in direct attacks... which is why he keeps trying to put distance between them.

But the only problem is....

Vahn watched as Shin once again attempted to escape Shouyin's range.

How much further.... can you run, before you realize... there's no room.

The view would pan out, showcasing the boxing sized ring, even as Vahn's eyes widened.

35Uberwulf X

Lazenca sat with his plastic cup of Cherry Coke, freezing and unfreezing and refreezing the cup's contents.

"Shouyin's not giving him any space... Shin doesn't look like he's a h2h person. Dang, come on."

His eyes ventured over to the rest of Team Glacier and he put the block of frozen drink down.

"Gotta get faster than him... Shouyin's got power... can you bring the speed?"

36Shouyin

No dice. Shouyin would be pulling Shin's right hand down by his right hip, and his opponent simply wouldn't be able to reach the half-golem's left fist with his left hand from underneath his own right arm. So following the straight lead, Shou would grab onto Shin's right shoulder by his shirt collar or something, still holding onto the fellow's right wrist as he pulled him into a headbutt aimed for the bridge o' the poor guy's nose.

In this position they'd be much too close for Shin to raise his left leg up in between them enough to push-kick Shouyin in the stomach and seperate the pair, and he'd probably be a little too dazed to do as much anyways, no less summon crazy blades of blood or whatever. Immediately following the headbutt Shou would release Shin's right shoulder and curl his forearm inwards, throwing a left elbow for the man's right temple.

"'Fraid you aren't getting away!"

7

37Just Three Words

Your not really thinking...

"I totally am."

Minute, don't you dare.

"Even if he loses, I'll do it."

This is my body!"

"Somewhat."

Woman!

"'Sides, I've got bigger boobs."

....Y'do it, and I'll come out sooner then you'll want.

"Whaddya think people'll say?"

....I hate you.

Minute was grinning from ear to ear, sitting down enjoying the fight that was taking place, her arms crossed over her chest, with mis matched eyes glued to the back of Shouyin's head. Yeap, she was gonna do it wether or not her consious told her not to. It was her time to have fun, and have fun she would for the time being, the body was hers to do with what she pleased.

"I'll give 'im a treat for winning."

He won't take it. He's a loyal man.

"Pfft, hardly."

And y'know. You look like a total dumbass talking to yourself in public.

Que the embaressed look on Minute's face as she peered around to realize many a many people had turned in their seats to stare at the girl who'd been arguing to herself, like some crazy person.

"Ahaha...go Shouyin.."

A wave of a fangirl flag she'd boughten from the girls in the stands, and they'd all turn around to continue watching the fight.

Hahahaaaaa

38Ho Shin

.

Unfortunatly for Shin, Shouyins posistion of his arm could be problematic. With that said, his straight lead would have to pass over Shin's right arm to reach him. As Shouyin moved his left fist to attack, Shin would pull hard against Shouyins grip, moving against the thumb of Shouyin's right hand. Stone or not, the properties of a hand still remained. Grips upon wrists are interesting. This simple technique is taught in almost every self defense class or martial arts out there. By moving your hand against the weakest point of the hand (against the thumb), you can easily free your hand.

So Shin would free his hand in time to swing it upwards, coming from underneath Shouyin's left arm.

Close, but not enough.

Crkk

Shin's metalic arm guard would impact the side of the approaching arm. If anything, Shouyin's hand would merely touch Shin's shirt before being pushed to the side and away from Shin's body.

Now the complex shiz.

Since he was still standing at this point, Shin would move his left leg behind his own right and do a quick turn, ducking underneath Shouyins left arm...all the while keeping it from crashing down with his own right arm. His left was kept up in a defensive position in case Shouyin attempted to attack with his own right.

As shin completed the swift turn, he would dash forward and away from Shouyin. ((Which is moving to the left if your looking at your diagram Shou))

Shin was tired playing games. At one time in his life he was a proud Kyonuske assasin. Although shin had to admit he didn't particularly specialize in hand to hand combat, he excelled in evasion and stealth manuvers. No matter what Shouyin was, Shin wouldn't go down that easy.

Additonally, Shouyin could be as fast as he wanted, but he would never match the speed Shin displayed. Shin was not a brawler type, this was true. While Shouyin might have been fast, carrying that stone arm around had to slow him down somewhat, if it didn't...the earth might as well implode upon itself for the lack of logic. If the stone arm was powerful, than it had to have weight of some sort, more so than a normal arm. While all of Shin's equipment was light, he would naturally be faster. If Shouyin did pursue, he would be no where close to Shin by the time he reached his destination.

The Kyonuske may be disbanded but the spirit never dies.

The camera would whip around just as Shin would come out of his dash, rotating in the opposite way as Shin would slide and turn out of his burst. The wind would rush to meet him, blowing his hair dramatically as he glared at Shouyin in his crouched pose. Of course, the video editors would have fun editing the entirety of this fight, because he wasn't actually in that pose for long at all.

At this point, Shouyin would be nearing if he chose to pursue. But that was alright, it was counter-attack time.

He brought both hands up and flicked them forward at Shouyin. From each hand a single wire would appear, his Tetsugen. Each wire would rip forward, snaking out and cutting up the floor as they went.

[8]

39Shouyin

Quite.

Well, the anatomy of Shouyin's right arm was a little wonky, but whatever, he'd play along, letting Shin pull away his arm with ease. Though he wouldn't let him off without taking a souvenir. Out of Shouyin's right palm a spike would form, much like a screw, driving itself right through Shin's wrist, decimating all the bones and arteries in the way. Shin would pull away hard, and he'd rip his own hand off.

His left hand would still be batted out of the way, returning to a guard position as a simple double-edged foot long blade of stone shot out from Shou's forearm. If Shin was too stunned to turn, then the half-golem would aim his stab (executed much like a rear-handed straight punch) for the man's liver, otherwise it'd be directed for his right kidney as he turned around, offering Shou his back.

"This party's over."

8

40Ho Shin

Touche.

A description of the carnage wouldn't be necessary, but it was safe to assume that Shin would not be able to continue. The medical teams would rush in soon after, aiding to Shin as much as possible before hauling him off in a stretcher. To his teammates he whispered barely audiable words as he passed by them.

"...Sorry..guys..."

If medical teams were able to fix him up, he would train harder than before. But it was going to take way longer for him to recover emotionally than physically. He would watch the duration of the fights in the infirmiry. He, like everyone else, was waiting for the next fight.

The fight everyone came to see that day.

Kick a** Laz...

Shin would pass out from blood loss on the way to the infirmiry.

41Shouyin

Shouyin would withdraw the blade from within Shin's torso, whipping his right hand out to the side, painting a thin line of blood in an arc along the ring floor, his opponent's right hand rolling along the brutal pathway. He'd stand up straight, the screw and sword sinking back into his right palm and forearm as the stone all over his left arm sank away, drops of viscuous red stuff falling from the four circles in his corresponding palm, dotting the ground outside his left foot in an odd pattern. He brought his right hand up, rubbing his thumb forcefully along the two lines that crossed his left cheek, cocking his chin upwards and to the right slightly as he stared off into the distance.

It was over. The hush that'd blanketed the crowd made that clear. He turned away from his fallen opponent, returning to his corner and placing his right hand against the ropes, leaping out of the ring in one smooth movement. An attempt was made to flex the fingers of his left hand, but he winced suddenly and decided it wouldn't be a good idea. A 'tch' as he waved at his teammates with his right before heading towards the nearest set of available medical personnel. Those cheek cuts would heal up fine, but he was gonna end up with a nice set o' scars in that hand. It hurt a bit to walk, but he wasn't sure if that was just because of the atmosphere, or if the ice had cut up his soles too.

As he walked past the spectators and out of the casino, his left elbow would brush past a certain woman's shoulder.

He'd feel a sort of spark, but made no recognition that it was Minute next to him.

42Just Three Words

He won..

"He won!"

The two voices chimmed in unison, one happy, the other just slightly. Minute smiled inwardly as she spotted the golem just about ready to leave, this was her chance to do what she wasn't able to do earlier do to the furry eard friend, who'd happen to knock her over.

Just as Minute went to stand, she'd simply be pushed back down by an unseen force, hands gripping to the chair's bottom.

No.

"H-hey! Just a minute!"

The cyborg would shout, gritting her teeth before wiggeling in her seat, prying her fingers from the bottom.

Minute, I'll turn you off!

"I'm not a robot, darling."

There she was, off talking to herself again, crazy cocky princesses these days. Nut jobs the lot of 'em.

And then Shouyin would pass her, she grinning as their shoulders brushed, it, sending a large chill down her spine. "Ouuuu, again again." She'd respond, getting up in her seat to shadow the poor Golem.

You whore! D<

Stiffend chuckle enterd here and the continuing follow of the golem.

43Uberwulf X

Lazenca had already drunk his Cherry Coke, and was now on a jug of water (it was either that or many bottles). It was halfway through the jug that everything went down and the blood sprayed. Shin seperated himself from Shouyin and the end was signalled.

One hell of a tough break. In this casino setting, it seemed like Shin rolled snake eyes. All eyes, serpentine, avian, and humaniod were on the beaten man as he was taken to the medical crew where, if they got his hand and such in good time, a healing was going to be nothing short of cake. It was not for Shin's hand that Lazenca worried, but his pride. But that too would heal, given time. A victory would be just what the doctor ordered.

stomp, stomp

The silence that washed over the crowd with that bloody victory was broken with loud footsteps coming from the back of the section behind White Wolf's seats.

stomp, stomp

Lazenca looked into the water jug, making the water inside whirlpool with a shake of his hand. They were getting louder. An eye was chanced in Glacier's direction to see who the next person standing would be. Laz was ready to go at it, with whoever. Besides... the crowd demaded it.

[ Just Another Face ] Wrote:

STOMP STOMP!

"LA-ZEN-CA!"

The crowd burst into cheers, the north section of the ring joining into choir. Between Blazestar members and fans from last year, Lazenca had a following.

STOMP STOMP!

"SAVE US!"

The roar of the crowd would explode as the man of the hour stepped into the arena. There was a thrill and a thirst for Lazenca. It was to be a fine battle.

Every memeber of the event was now wrapped up into the moment. The entirety of the stands was whipped into a frenzy, cheering loudly while clapping before shouting out their hero's name, stomping their feet to the ground and screaming for salvation!

LAZENCA! SAVE US!

And on top of the counter with a mic and singing all the words to his heart's content, was Seung. DAMN IT.

Well... the crowd was pumped and Lazenca was ready. He rolled in under the bottom rope, then started shaking his legs out to sorta get warm and ready.

"Well... send someone up here already."

44Vahn Fah

Interesting...

He watched, passively as events played out, and even before the time limit was up, the round was already over. It was awful, but the stage had just been against Shin.

Had it been a more open environment which catered to his specialty, then perhaps things would have turned out differently.

Shouyin was in his element after all.

"Maybe next time they'll take us a bit more seriously."

45Sunstrike

"Tch, like that will ever happen." Sunstrike unfolded his arms and slouched a bit more in his chair on the sidelines, back to the crowd.

"If they did, we wouldn't be here. I still say that lobby needed to end up on fire, along with the contracts..."

He squinted at Vahn and grinned. "I think you secretly like doing this again, though...somethings got your blood boiling."

Sun didn't announce what this something was, but his eyes might have slid for a second to Silver and that angry gaze of the young man, that never wavered.

46Silver Alexander

Though unmoved from his spot standing on Glacier's side of the ring, and still stone cold in his appearance, with his arms crossed and his head down, Silver's own blood was boiling. The far side of his face, away from his team mates, was twisted in a wicked grin, bearing his fangs.

The smell of combat and blood was thick in the air, enough to drive the Beast within wild. He had greatly enjoyed Shou's gruesome display, and even though he would not openly admit it, he internally applauded the Half-Golem.

Excellent, Shou, excellent. Tear every single one of our enemies you face apart... the stage is most glorious when awash with blood...

47Vahn Fah

"Good enough then. You just watch for what that something is."

Moving forward, he began making his way towards the ring, shedding his clothing along the way. That great dark jacket, the fancy buckles and belts-- everything was shed away revealing the man on the inside.

Scars ran like rivers and clouds along his tanned skin, even as the muscles on his wiry body stood out. He may not have been as bulky and defined as Tomorrow, but he trained enough to have his own slender cut form.

By the time he made it to the ropes, he'd be wearing nothing but his jeans, the smiling devil embroidered on the back pocket. His toes curled and straightened getting a feel for the floor, even as a bit of steam issued forth.

His body temperature was way above normal for a human, and at best, normally his touch felt like being engulfed in a steam bath. When excited, the heat of his skin was akin to rise. That left eye of his would remain closed, no fancy eyepatch or anything over it.

Slipping under the ropes, he would be standing in the ring now, smiling.

"Long time no see, mutt."

He meant it in the nicest way possible of course.

48Uberwulf X

And Laz's temp was below that of a normal human. In unchecked extroversion, being near him was like standing in a meat locker. His touch was no better, and his claws carried no numbing effects. Sad, that.

But they already knew that about each other. Laz's head went to the left, cracking his neck. "I'll try not to beat you up too badly. We all know how badly you do in the cold, eh?"

He looked behind him to his teammate... Shin wasn't there because he was busy getting his hand reattatched. Crystalline eyes focused back on Vahn, and he stepped forward on the mat, damp with water and blood. No shards, stood between him and the center. The left arm was raised to about chest level, horizontal between them. The right wrist crossed over the left arm. Left side leading, balls of feet, nice base, all the such.

"...I'll have to show you my Wu-Tang style."

"I'd like to see your Wu-Tang style.

Let's begin, then."

[act 01]

49Vahn Fah

And the moment his opponent was settled into place, he exploded outwards. There was no need for words to be exchanged, let alone any dramatic pauses. The camera's would be hard pressed to actually keep up with the motions--- since there wasn't anyway they could exactly tell the fighters to slow down their movements for the viewers.

A certain director had the same problem with trying to film Bruce Lee, telling him he was moving too fast for the machine to catch.

Lee' reply had simply been: 'Make a better camera.'

[TIME LIMIT: 17]

50Uberwulf X

The left hand shifted from horizontal to vertical and the right foot slid forward... this switched Laz from left to right, and had him sliding just inside of Vahn's body to grabbing range. The sliding and bracing would help him absorb a great deal of the attack.

Upper. Mid. And the triple kick stopped there. As the second attack struck his left arm, the already-in-position right hand was already shooting out with a quick closed-fist jab to the eyes. If Vahn had it in him to take the hit and still attack, such a shock would likely throw off the last kick's accuracy, taking away from that power. His hand was already halfway back from the jab so if that third leg landed... he'd be halfway ready to deal with it.

[act 02]

51Vahn Fah

..!

Half-assed preparation wasn't going to get anyone anywhere. Not with Vahn.

The first two strikes had been deftly guarded against, and by the time the motion for the final sweep was coming, with his view unhampered or obstructed by anything, it wouldn't be hard to see the jab incoming.

But even if he could see it coming from the position he was in...

Lazenca's jab wouldn't be stopped at this point, at least not in the traditional sense.

Moving his head forward, Vahn would protect any injury to his eyes by shifting his forehead in the way, giving a faux headbutt, while at the same time switching up the final motion.

This would be supplied as the 'headbutt' was made, since his left arm would now be holding his body weight, and both his legs would lash outward, to kick right in at Lazenca's exposed knees, in order to break his balance.

[TIME LIMIT: 16]

52Uberwulf X

Of course not... there was little power behind the jab. The result of jab was thrown to chance... maybe Vahn'd be deterred. Maybe not. The coin landed on tails and the kick kept coming.

"!!"

The hand meeting the forehead was of little consequence... little power meant little penalty with the contact. The leg though... half expected and taken with no problems. It was coming... he moved with it as much as possible, loosening the tension in the left knee so that he could actually twist on the way down.

The balance was removed; he'd end up on his left knee with the right foot catching him. While dropping with the kick, the left arm straightened. With the extremely close range, he was able to land a punch to the face. The twisting gave it more power, reach, and speed than "falling to a knee next to Vahn, his hand happening to brush by Vahn's face."

The hand wouldn't linger and would brace him on the ground immediatly after the punch.

[act 03]

53Vahn Fah

Lazenca's fist would connect, causing blood to actually spill forth along with a bit of spit, Vahn's head jerking with the motion, helping to subtly lessen the amount of impact received.

But it still landed.

Vahn's opening move-- the low, middle, and high roundhouse kicks had been taken head on by the wolfman, with Vahn having to modify the final low into simple leg thrusts.

Which meant both legs had been off the ground. As Laz' fist had struck Vahn, Vahn's supporting arm seemed to press harder against the ground, as the impact was transferred through his body, adding more weight.

Even with being struck, his mind was still thinking 2 moves ahead. Lazenca would suddenly feel Vahn's left leg pressing on his chest(where it had been since he lost his balanced and 'dropped') while the other leg had positioned itself behind his knees, delivering the low ground scissor kicks with enough symmetrical force to knock Lazenca down.

Vahn was shooting.

And hard.

[TIMELIMIT: 15]

54Uberwulf X

"Hey Vahn... remember the last fight we had?"

It landed, and Vahn was moving already. Resilient bugger. He was already moving into a position to counter. The leg was there and Lazenca didn't quite understand it, but there it was... pressure and motivation to go down, under the opponent and be subjected to whatever he wanted. No time to think about what it was, but just to make sure it wasn't carried out.

"And you completely trounced me?"

Leg remaining on the chest meant that Lazenca was going to tuck slightly and harden his body to protect against possible stuff happening, as well as doing what he could to know where the leg was going. It wouldn't be hard, considering how he was going down. He'd also use the free right arm to gain as much purchase on Vahn's body as the man had on him... a quick tuck at the calf would be enough to make sure that now that Vahn was here, he wasn't going until Lazenca was done.

The force offered his body was miscalculated. To further protect himself against the scissors, Lazenca's right leg moved out more to give him move of a crutch and balance. This, combined with how Lazenca landed- leaning forward a bit so that he could hit Vahn while going down- kept Lazenca from being taken down.

The arm doing its best to maintain some kind of sensible grip on the leg against is chest kept Vahn from going oshi-- and either redoubling his efforts or pulling away.

"None of that, this time around."

He twisted his body so that under his own power, he'd go down. Vahn had no leverage in the middle of the ring to stop his body from being lifted up and over Lazenca's body, face meeting with the tarmac. The head was tucked, in case an errant leg thought about striking him in the back of the head on the way over. Being bigger and physically stronger had its advantages.

He didn't let go of the captured leg.

[act 04]

The words would never be finished even as the Lazenca's vision was filled with nothing but black.

Black heat, to be exact.

As his opponent had brokent he scissor lock and apparently tried a reversal, he made two fatal mistakes.

One, was getting in closer to Vahn.

Two, was actually hitting him again, causing more blood.

Which also didn't help matters that as the second blow landed Vahn bit down hard on his bottom lip. And once that blood was free, so to was that power.

In a gout of dark flames, Vahn had thrown open his mouth, releasing them point blank at Lazenca.

If the shock of heat and pain didn't cause the other man to release, then the incoming headbutt, as Vahn's free hands grabbed hold of Lazenca's shoulders, would do more then jostle the wolf.

[TIMELIMIT: 14]

56Uberwulf X

The crowd roared with the exchange's result that sent black flame up over the top rope.

"...This hurts like hell."

The scissor lock was never, ever broken. Lazenca simply made sure that the takedown failed. It was the holding of the leg that prevented Vahn from letting go. The... counter simply came in a way Lazenca hadn't anticipated. The position of it all and the quick exchange... oh, Vahn was getting his face sent into the mat. But Lazenca was blown back, and the two men would be seperated-- no need for the headbutt. By the graces of an introverted aura, he was spared serious damage, but his hair was singed. And his face was sore.

Taking that didn't mean that everything would stop. He fell back and quickly scrambled away, snarling loudly with the attack. Unless Vahn crabbed to him or jumped the distance, there was going to be a good five feet between them that they could both stand.

Lazenca rose to a three point squat, right hand down and the left rubbing madly at his face as if trying to snuff flames. But... his tail swayed in anticpation. Let not the recovery from the attack and failure to rise fool you; Laz was ready. And he was well within pouncing distance.

[act 05]

57Vahn Fah

As Laz went rolling away, the crowd went loud, apparently easily entertained by the heat. Several Glacier fans pumped their fists, while a few others simply wondered what the hell kind of man could simply shoot laser beams from their mouths.

However, all that coolness of the moment would be broken as...

..What sounded like a burp would sound out across the ring, causing the surrounding people to simply stare with open jaws.

"Ah damn.... sorry, really gives messes me up inside when I do that." His single yellow eye stared forward, even as he kept the back of his hand against his mouth. All this while, he'd been slow at it-- not fully grasping that familiar feeling-- that panicky, heart throbbing feeling.

This is why he loved fighting.

The feeling that you might lose.

The thrill of pounding another guy into paste or simply proving you were better than them and their mothers.

And his ego was rarin' to go, after such a long year of drama and stupid brothers who liked to ride around on stolen islands and s**t.

He slowly stood back up to his full height, running a hand through unkempt hair. The knees of his jeans were worn and a bit dirtied with blood, but other than that, he was good. Lazenca had landed a total of two blows against him, equal payment for the two roundhouses he supposed.

"Well then ...." He lifted his left hand, the knuckles cracking as he hunkered down, both hands on his knees.

"...Let's get this over with, shall we!"

With that shouted out, he would begin the charge again, before pushing off the ground with his right leg, left knee raised and ready to slam home--- until he switched to the right knee in mid-air.

[TIMELIMIT: 13]

58Uberwulf X

Quote: "...Let's get this over with, shall we!"

"I'm glad you feel that way!"

Lazenca was down in that squat, and from coiled muscles he sprang. He was in pouncing range... and position. Because when you think about it... that face thing he was doing, was like a cat cleaning itself. Tenma ne Gato stance, crouched.

There was nothing special about Vahn's getting flipped over Lazenca, over the turnbuckle, and landing on his back outside of the ring. He was expecting one foot... the midair switch made Lazenca's positioning for the throw-- he'd risen with the expectation that Vahn's left was about to strike, so maybe a twist of the body to soften the blow a little, or even twist to ensure inside position, let Vahn get in close, and that'd be that. So, as the leg was up, Laz lifted his own right while the left kept him grounded.

The midair check had Vahn switching it up, and completing his attack on a back-leaning Lazenca. It was a meeting of the legs between the mens' chests. The blow... softened just a bit because as strong as the knee was, Laz was already going down. However, it was a solid hit, one that made Laz grunt.

The grunt also came from the effort of snapping his body backwards while bringing the second leg and straightening both so that the small "I know where you are and for just a second you won't be able to get away, but don't worry, a second is all I need" hold made with Lazenca's hands on Vahn's shoulders to direct his momentum rather than interrupt it... would have the man making that aforementioned trip out of the ring.

Thanks for flying Wulf Air.

[act 06]

59Vahn Fah

This guy---!

His yellow eye widened even, as his left eye actually opened a crack. For some reason, his vision was split-screened, as if watching from two different viewpoints.

In the right, he could see Lazenca in front of him, but in the left he actually saw behind Lazenca. In fact, with his left eye he could understand a great deal of the situation than if he;d just been tyring to dscern what was happening with a normal viewpoint.

However, with that 'double-vision' came the migraines, and fresh blood from his left eye socket. That singular crack would have to suffice, as the left eye was quickly shut once more--- and time resumed it's toll on the current match.

Landing a hit on the wolf, he still found himself flipped over-easy, but now knowing what was going to happen.

...He's trying to get rid of me as fast as possible!

Ground was ready to give him his comeuppance--- blood dripped from his open mouth.

--Well

What followed was an earsplitting explosion, as Vahn's right hand went towards his chest--- blackened flames and the smell of burnt flesh in the air.

Screams sounded out from the onlookers, as the camera's tried to focus and zoom in on what had exactly happened.

A slow motion replay showed the mid-air throw, then the spinning of the body, followed by the arm movement-- only to freeze in and focus on what appeared to be a black bunch of...something caught between his hand and his chest.

But back to reality--- as the explosion had occured, Vahn's face would be the first visible thing to the wolf, as he came tearing down in black flames and smoke, aiming to slam right into him from above, his right fist extended straight.

"BEAST STRAIGHT!!"

He had literally exploded himself away from a ring out, as if air cancelling and careened right back into the thick of it, using that same moment to expel all the abuse he'd taken up to that point. A majority of the new flames sporuting were now coming from the exposed muscles and burnt flesh of his stomach, where he'd caused the explosion to happen to begin with.

It was a scary deja vu situation, as flashbacks of the fight in the first HoH, at Durem, would come to mind.

Except the element of surprise was well within his grasp this time.

Sunstrike actually cracked open an eye at that point, to say he hadn't been watching would have been a lie, but to actually stir him from the lazy position he'd settled himself into...

Good lord...that was closer then anyone would have liked...

His leg crossed over the other and he settled down again, but this time with both eyes open.

Defensive Assist

63[ Just Another Face ]

TOSA had been ready the entire time, His body prepped for battle. Everything from head to toe was tensed to 58% maximum capacity during the match of Shin and Shouyin. But to be honest, Shouyin wasn't the concern of this match. Actually, he was probably the least of all the threats Glacier contained. At least, that is what a short net dive would tell you.

But when Vahn and Lazenca made their enterance, it was more than obvious that the fight would be excessive and that there could be use for a striker. Shin would have gotten it, but Lazenca took that one first. From the moment "Lazenca" began to play among the crowd, TOSA took notice and decided to climb up to 94% capacity. It was risky, and draining, but these matches were not what we would call long or drawn out.

And rightfully so.

When the explosion would sound, before any other action took place, TOSA spiked his form to the ready and launched forward. Quickly, the automaton released part of it's energies in the form of the WALL crystals on it's right arm. These crystals would generate a field of energy that would essentially negate the psyical aspect of the attack. In otherwords, while Vahn was safe to rush back into the ring, he would not hit Lazenca or TOSA. Not from here anyways. But, seeing as the two would still be locked, TOSA would just tighten his legs up and jump from the arena in a tight backflip, his feet coming up to make an attempted kick for Vahn's head as he flew backwards, landing back at his original location with a CRUNCH!

MOVE

Sudden Impact + Reverse Flight

Primarily used as an assist movement, TOSA rushes into the arena at a high efficiency level, his wall points activated to nullify an oncoming attack to an opponent, leaving them at a pure stand off. Put with Reverse Flight, TOSA simply goes for a backwards flip whilst kicking for the face.

ESTIMATED DAMAGE

Possible jaw, neck, teeth injury.

TIME

Nine seconds.

64Vahn Fah

There was something to be said for premature ejaculation.

When it happened, you were finished, but the thing is you still achieved the end result of what you wanted.

If only a little early.

This would be the similar case, as Vahn came hurtling down from above, and was met with.... an energy shield?

His right fist would impact, and there'd be the sound of a tight crack.

Eh--?!

That's when the second impact explosion would occur.

The shield seemed to withstand the fierceness of Vahn's downward charge enough to impede his fist from penetrating any further, but the rest of that energy still released itself.

Downward.

In order to release the sudden shield, that would have meant that the striker had to be made over Lazenca's grounded body. Which meant that once the concussive flames and initial shock wave of his released hit struck the assumed WALL, he would still be on target.

This meant that instead of the focused explosiveness that would have come from the right fist--- impacting against the barrier had prematurely detonated it into a shotgun-esque area of effect, basically making everything under the barrier a neo-firestorm..

Which was just 10 times more ******** up for the grounded Lazenca.

So instead of Lazenca receiving a simple Beast Straight, his teammates striker had instead served Lazenca a Thousand Beast Rush.

Since that premature detonation occurred, Vahn was sent slightly more upwards from the barrier (much like when he had exploded against himself to regain balance in mid-air).

So if the assumed striker still came zooming upwards, a wide grin was already on Vahn's face as he pass on by harmlessly while gravity took hold of Vahn firmly.

His stomach was still bleeding out flame, and his right hand was wreathed in the stuff, the intense image of a serpent coiled around it's prey persistent in the minds of everyone around them.

Situation Analysis

Current Opponent : Vahn Kyonuske : Driving force of Team Glacier

Current Ally : Lazenca

Assist Mode

DEFENSE

ERROR

To adequately defend Lazenca, TOSA unit must remian in ring to defend against Vahn, who evaded Sudden Impact more skillfully than determind.

Course of action

1.) Stay in ring and attack Kyonuske directly, risking a red flag as result of violating rules 31:C and 31:J

2.) Leave ring and avoid penalty, risking Lazenca suffering excessive damage.

Process

...

TOSA would actually shift his motion just before taking the act of the backflip, Seeing that Vahn had flown into the air and was headed to Lazenca from a new angle of attack, he would have but one option. The robot would continue to throw himself backwards, this time landing right infront of Lazenca. Seeing as the right fist would be on TOSA's left, the minimech would raise it's left arm, again blasting the shield. They went from their previous colorlessness to a dark purple color, meaning they had fully solidified. Now they would be of some ******** use.

Taking the punch(es) as they come, TOSA was braced to the floor just inches from Lazenca. He would now be in grapple range to Vahn, and there felt to be one thing to do. TOSA would pull his right hand backwards, flattening it with his thumb squared on the side. Then, with the thrust of the oh-so renowned focus punch, TOSA jabbed his arm forward. His fingers would be aiming for Vahn's gut, hoping to rip him up a little bit.

66Nihilistic_Impact

The other wise stoic Judge had been content to watch the bloodshed and brutality of the current match; but at a violation of the rules he must interject. The FIGHTER that TOSA was wearing alerted the Judge to the Defensive Striker when it came into play.

What unfolded before his eyes was not fully in spirit of the word. First mark, the attempted kick of TOSA against Vahn's head, clearly an offensive move. Yellow Flag.

A timer was running and by the time the attempted kick came in nine seconds had passed.

Then something odd happen. TIME WARP!

Instead of kicking this time the robot was punching. Though it wasn't no regular punch the Judge was able to tell as a dossier of TOSA's moves came clearly to mind.

Force Punch Wrote:

By sacrificing shielding from one location for a short time and transfering it to a new location, TOSA is capable of delivering a hard punch with an added knockback value.

An even more grievous assault then the earlier kick. Yellow upgraded to Red.

Already TOSA was on thin ice and if he wasn't out of the ring soon then some bad mojo was going down.

And then time passed, ten seconds up. Yellow Flag.

TOSA was physically picked up out of the ring before his punch could land and thrown out of the ring. Landing where no one was standing.

As an explanation a large booming voice filled the room.

"TOSA is here by given a red flag for performing offensive moves while declaring a defensive striker assist. Under normal circumstances this would be a yellow; but due to TOSA's desire to do both at once it is upgraded to red. This is partially due to the potential destructiveness of the attack he was to perform as well."

"In addition he entered into the ring with only ten seconds to perform his actions. All of his actions committed put him at the brink of the time limit and with no hope of getting out of the ring(without further tampering of the time stream). Thus a Yellow Flag."

"Team White Wolf. One more Yellow Flag to TOSA this round and you will be disqualified from this tournament."

With that further judgment needed to passed out.

"Further more Team Glacier shall receive one Red Flag due to Vahn's explosions and the potential for harming the audience. Try to restrict area of effect attacks, this is a small ring."

Conclusion.

White Wolf:

1x Red Flag

1x Yellow Flag

Glacier:

1x Red Flag

The Judge had spoken and that was that.

Lazenca was back in his corner after that ******** of an exchange. The ring's fire, if any, would have been put out due to possible hazard to the crowd.

Vahn Kyonuske Wrote:

"Long time no see, mutt."

"Long time no see..."

His jet black hair was frayed at the edges due to the startup of the last attack, as well as his taking the belch of flames.

"Long time...."

His back was against the turnbuckle and his arms were hanging limply. He was shivering- vibrations in the skin and chattering of the teeth was evidence of it.

There was no secret to how cold it was in that corner. The sideline staff backed up because of it, even while the crowd pushed forward at the edge of their seats.

"M-m-mutt..."

Focused on nothing but the space before him, his eyes shook and his hands twitched. His breath was ragged, taken in gulps or staggers, as if trying to choke back tears while speaking.

The crowd didn't make matters any better. Lazenca's fans murmured, and rumors of fear were passed in the stands. Doctors were getting ready to make another space in the medical tent for Lazenca when they dragged him off, which seemed to be a likely case.

"I'm..."

He let out a hard, gupled breath.

"...ready. Long time."

[act 08]

68Vahn Fah

He would come crashing down---- atop yet another erected shield. However this one had a different hue to it and Vahn briefly wondered if he would suffer a siezure from the spastic lights.

"JUST GET THE ******** OUT OF MY WAY ALREADY!!"

However, it was short lived as he was bringing in his right fist in an attempt to break through the barrier, literally crouched right atop it with the tin man underneath-- unawares that the tin man was also gearing to send a blow right into him at the same time.

Then would come that audible clang, and weightless feeling, as his footing was lost. "--Guh!"

The tin man was up and tossed straight out of the damn ring, and Vahn was sent to the ground.

With or without the Judges interference, his face would be straining not to unleash what was on his mind.

This was twice now.

Twice that he'd been denied from what he wanted to do.

Whether or not that blow would have been fatal, Vahn had been ready to tear the hunk of metal into pieces just to get at the fallen Lazenca. But no...

Oh ho, why not just reprieve ourselves!

The ring itself was charcoal black now, ropes and all heavily seared, with a bit of flames still alive here and there. During the commotion Lazenca had apparently managed to drag himself into a corner.

Had Vahn's Beast Straight actually gone through, the ring would have caved in on itself by now, with Lazenca's body in the center.

However now he was subjected to standing there, while the Judge finished it's judgement, watching as the wolf simply took the recovery time.

Without a care to the fact that this man had saved him before, he charged in low, hands clawed and arms out to the side, blood trailing down both arms.

[act 09]

70Silver Alexander

Silver's hands were shaking, and he clutched tightly at the sleeves of his jacket in a feeble attempt to settle them. He was breathing heavily now, not from the heat from being so close to the ring, but his own excitement. His one golden hazel eye remained focused intently on the wilder man in the ring. Even though poor Lazenca was clearly of some Lupine origin, his opponent was clearly more of a beast. A Beast of Prey.

What have you become, Vahn? What did you do in the past year? What I felt... the armor... could this be the direct result?

Silver chuckled to himself.

"Fu fu fu fu..."

I couldn't have hoped for more. You're going to let me enjoy taking everything from you... Aren't you? VAHN.

71Vahn Fah

Covering the distance easily enough, Lazenca would have an opportunity to see just how slow his opponent was moving, up close and personal. This was the side of Vahn only a few could have the pleasure of getting to see.

An individual so enraptured and enamored with bloodlust, the thrill of the fight itself-- almost bordering on a sexual fetish, as if nothing else mattered except to see as much blood as possible.

Blame his Murmillion heritage for that one.

And blame the fact that his blood was on fire for this next one.

Both arms would criss-cross over one another, as he slashed simultaneously forward at where Lazenca was, blood flinging from the motion.

It was as if he meant to tear apart the wolf with his bare hands.

"THIS IS MADNESSS!!!" A bald black man shouted out, as the intense atmosphere surrounding the ring seemed to drive them insane, bringing out the more primal thoughts of a man.

"Madness? No.... This is... THE GODDAMNEDVAHN!" Replied a scruffy looking man, who proceeded to kick the black guy back down into his seat.

72Supreme Jerk Commander

Somewhere amongst the crowd:

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WHAT A LOAD OF HIGH OCTANE BULLSHIT! I CAME TO SEE A FIGHT! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Yeah, that's Dash standing ringside with the other spectators, and he isn't happy.

"GET THOSE SCRUBS OUT THE ARENA! PUT SHOUYIN BACK IN! I WANT TO SEE SOME a** WHOOPING, NOT FIREWORKS! BOOOOOOOO!"

He was about 3 rows in and doing what he does best: being a jerk!

73Uberwulf X

Quote: "Madness? No.... This is..."

The crowd was silenced by absolute dischord coming from nowhere, and yet everywhere at once.

Someone stood in Vahn's corner, that looked eerily like Lazenca. The hand was cocked back and he sprinted in chase after Vahn.

Don't you see you're in danger,

like this you're just a stranger. Get the hell, go!

Lazenca did nothing but breathe outward and begin to raise his arms while shifting Negative as the Glare happened between them, in Vahn's face. Of course, this was going to happen before he was able to throw blood. The Glare always exploded in the direction of the target so any ignition of flame would either happen straight up or back in Vahn's face. Power enough to make his head rock back.

Can't contain it, can't explain it, have to maintain it

until the the answers show

In time with the explosion, the hand moved forward for a Backlash Grenade, also happening in the direction of the target. Force enough to rock Vahn forward, but this time with no balance. If everything was going as it should, Vahn would be almost skidding forward on his knees. Sorta like the Pharoah in that Mummy movie.

Baptised in blood of mighty warriors fallen,

Can't find the calm, I hear the madness calling

No balance or way to get out of the Maelstrom, that storm... that white WALL of razor sharp + edges. He was out to rend reality itself into ribbons.

And now with crimson ice in my eyes,

I'm out to terrorize, I'm stealing lives

[Verstand + Necklace] + Doppelganger + Glare + Maelstrom. Two seconds.

He could have moved aside and directed Vahn back out of the ring, but he wasn't thinking of that. He wasn't thinking that any blood spraying had a chance to burn, melt the ice block. Lazenca intended to finish the fight in the most brutal way possible.

He intended to butcher, to maim, to dismember, to KILL Vahn Kyonuske.

All for a friendly greeting in the beginning of the fight that pushed his mind over the precipice of madness, that threw his vision into shades of gray and blue...

All for a friendly greeting and circumstance following that happened to fully trigger Alpha Shift.

[act 10]

74Vahn Fah

"!!"

The resulting effect was brutal to say the least, even as only the yellow of his eye could be seen, the force of the frozen explosion catching right smack in the front. Blood was spilt, as his neck muscles did their very best to prevent his head from literally being blown off his shoulders.

However this never dettered him as both arms went out, something glinting in the lights of the ring. No...

His body was pushing along through the force of the explosion in his face, his head having always been staring forward and blood covering his face. The lower portion of his jaw had been severely ******** up, to say the least and his nose was broken from the point blank force. Steam issued forth from his face, as blood, ice and flame mixed in altogether.

His left eye opened fully as he sent his right arm jutting forward, hand entirely flat, the veins around that eye standing out immensely.

Focus---- FOCUS!

Ignore the pain-- the cold..

this cold-- is nothing to the cold he had to bear with!

Even as the attack from behind was also slated to happen in tune with the frontal attack, Vahn never once paused in his momentum.

Lazenca was there.

Fang....

He was in front of him.

All he had...

My...fangs...

....Had to do.... was move forward.

Forward.

"MOOOOOOOVE FORRRRWARD!!!" The scream issued out, even as blood muddled a few of the letters. The back of his left leg and lingering left arm were beginning to feel numb, as he apparently did what no dinosaur could.

He outran the Ice Age.

And straight into the wall.

There would be cracks. Then longer seams. Before finally that wall would break asunder.

Lazenca had erected this...this... wall, to try and impede the march of this devil. Yet no barrier would stand between him and his opponent.

Vahn's right arm would have continued plunging forward, straight into Lazenca's gut, where he stood, even as the piercing and slashing damage from running into said wall gave birth to fresh wounds and lacerations.

He had expected a frozen man to come sliding into his doom, a la MK Fatality, yet Vahn's body wasn't like normal men and women. It would have taken a considerably charged Backlash to encase him entirely in ice, considering how hot his body aura was at the moment.

As for how Vahn's hand could have penetrated the wall and continued onward to impale into Lazenca...

The unique ability of Vahn's blood. The terrible power within it gives birth to the ebony flames which he is known for, yet it is that same power that he controls in its totality. With the blood having run its rivets down his arms he was able to narrowly focuses the heat and flames given birth into razor-thin blades of black flame as its passes through his fingertips; effectively transforming them into nigh-impossibly sharp spears.

Fire in of itself is used to smelt even the strongest of ores into submission. A focused fire... much like a focused laser beam, can cut through anything.

Vahn's will..... was this spear.

And he wasn't going to let the cold stand in his way...anymore.

The coldest defense---! The hottest strike! Fang and Claw, they meet but----!

75Uberwulf X

In the future, on instant replays.

"And we're back to the play-by-play of Heaven or Hell 07's hottest matches... no pun intended. We'll get right back to the action, after the penalty judgements were handed out. We've cut the audio feed, because it's madness. however, the video stayed intact. Let's go over what happened at the second intense moment in this highly anticipated bout. As you can see... here. Here is the moment everything happens. While Vahn shoots forward, everything goes white and blue. These two impacts here... and here... and he's still going."

"It's amazing, Turner. We expected things, but who knew it would be like this? Who knew that Vahn would keep going through the white lines?"

"And who knew that Lazenca was going to be dancing? Sort of a caperioera style? Is that how you say it?" He laughed.

"It's capoeira, and no. Rewind it here... see, the arms are moving. Capoeira is a leg style. This looks like dancing, raving. See, when the arms go..." The other commentater started flexing and bending in his seat, earning laughs from everyone in the studio.

"Haha oh wow. Well see how-- and remember folks, this is slowed down as far as we can, a frame a second just to see the movements these two are making-- see how Lazenca uses that to slide out of the way? Man, it's like Vahn got served."

More laughter, but this time only from the two anchor figures.

"Alright... and here we see Vahn making contact with his powers. Right... there." The graphical marker was used to circle the points on Lazenca's body where the speartips penetrated the left hand. Hey Ollie... how hot is that fire that Vahn's wielding?"

A big, black man popped onto the screen, his suit swaying with a loud motor running to suggest a fan blowing.

"GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!"

"And thank you, Ollie. Well, despite the injury, Lazenca goes right through the onslaught and..."

In the present.

Everything was happening at speeds inconcievable. He was still coming... despite the Maelstrom, he CAME. Lazenca was no complete fool... no, one checks the kill... another movement to ensure success. Vahn had survived and perservered, so Lazenca would keep going forward.

The hands moved and left the lines in the air, lines that were broken apart even as the buzzsaw motion scratched cut through Lazenca. And came the points of black that went against his hand... and through it. However, Lazenca seemed completely undisturbed by what should be excruciating pain. He too would press on and feel nothing.

The hand moved forward, into Vahn's tearing motion. Into the fire. Into his face. A large paw palmed the skull of his opponent, and the arm pushed forward.

It would be a stretch to think that Vahn was going to be thrown back too far. No, the plan was to grip the head and slam it downward. He was uninterested in the hands that potentially impeded his goal... if they were then so be it, they would be pushed back up into Vahn's face.

Vahn's power was in his blood... he could almost seeit now. Had he been in any sane state of mind, he would stop trying to do things that would make Vahn bleed. But he wasn't.

Lazenca was going to give Vahn every oppurtunity to bloodlet, until the mat was soaked in it.

76Vahn Fah

Endgame.

The ice shattered and fragments went flying around both men, blood stained pieces of lucid crystal that reflected the singular smile hidden underneath blood and sweat.

Vahn's spearing hand (same move used against that Dragon in PoC) was met with Lazenca's left hand-- pierced -- and simply passed through.

If a solid block of ice and dragon's hide were suspectible to being pierced, then what did that say for mere flesh and muscle? Vahn's right hand would simply continue through Lazenca's opposing arm, shearing the very arm in twain as if someone were pulling apart a branch, revealing sickly sweet bark beneath.

The left side of Vahn's body was chillingly numb, the ice formed along those body parts and a good portion of his back evident of how he had done his best to evade the freezing.

The amount of space both fighters were in was severely restrictive, and not even giving enough space for those who want to run or avoid-- much like Shin had found out.

So reaching out to stab forth in the span of a few seconds wasn't far fetched, and as the freezing had begun to take place, Vahn would have already been biting deep into his opponent.

The ability to feel pain was often misconstrued as a liability. A weakness of the human body.

True... for some, the banishment of pain unlocked the limits of the human body, enabling them to push forward. However... it also removed the only 'danger sense' the body had.

Pain was a way of the body signaling caution to it's owner.

So that when one was shot with a bullet, they would know that the bullet hurts and they shouldn't get shot again.

Such was the case... as Vahn's right hand began cleaving through Lazenca's left hand--- where initially had it been felt one would have immediately begun to retract said arm.

Was the wolf going to lose an entire arm for trying to reach out at the fanged moon itself?

So by the time Lazenca was aiming to palm Vahn's head... there would be nothing worth sending synapses to the brain for.

The hand and arm was literally in pieces.

Vahn's right knee, bent from the final thrust of his 'spear', would send his bare right foot onto the blood soaked mat, solidifying his base even as his left side dragged, and causing the beginnings of something very familiar.

All that blood steamed away, even as the heat generated from the flames at the base of his right foot began to swirl around Vahn's right leg.

It was indeed a mistake to allow Vahn this much access...

"Heat."

It was a technique which used the fulcrum-based transference skill of "reverse striking" to transmit the user's power through the air. This is achieved by collecting the rotational force of one's motion until it forms unto a needle, forged by the intense heat. At that point, that collected atmospheric force would then be directed from the circular motion, through the shoulder, into a straight line (via punch), where it is sent barreling into the target.

After the spear had cleaved through, Vahn's right hand would have been left pointing directly towards Lazenca's chest, the flat fingers snapping suddenly into a fist, knuckle extending forward for that vital push. Even if Lazenca's right arm was still functional, the intensely close proximity of both their bodies afforded the luxury that with the shock of losing an entire arm, and the face of death literally looking up at the alpha male, he wouldn't be able to stop what happened next.

Lazenca, already backed up against the ropes, would be literally blasted backwards, through them and out the ring.

One Inch Heat.

In the future, on instant replays.

"...and for it, his arm is torn asunder. We'll rewind and zoom it here so the viewers can see how it plays out. We'll tell you that scene is decidely more grisly than others, so the faint in stomach are advised to turn away."

In the present.

He knew it was happening. He knew his hand was getting piered. He felt the pressure of muscles and tendons and bones being moved in ways most unnatural. He just didn't care. The pressure he felt was warning enough to tell the subconcious that something bad was happening. His concious was more worried about the opponent, damaging him. The self could be sacrificed a bit, as long as he pushed through.

Vahn's hand wouldn't have an even journey through Lazenca's arm, because it'd meet quickly with the bracer. A physical barrier... and now the spiritual followed in the way of the living tattoo. His Medium... it burned with energy, with fury. And when the hand travelled, with suprise. When Vahn burned through pa the impact rippled beneath the palm and the flesh beneath it all but exploded. Blood leaked beneath the sagging equipment as something... something made his hand move upward, saving him from absolutely losing the arm. It was holding together, mishapen, useless, but there.

And with the follow up attack, he'd find himself removed from the ring. In the crowd, unmoving, white hair matted with hastily spilled drinks and blood that had found its way into his hair. The arm.. it seemed seperated, segmented along lines drawn by the Medium. Shredded, held on by what seemed like strands of black, covered in red, utterly useless.. but there. His HEART had saved him, and the glow of it faded as he sat there.

It did not save the match. His mouth parted and words were whispered, likely unheard by all in the chaos of having a bloody fighter in the stands.

And yet, his eyes dimmed.

78Vahn Fah

1 night before HoH began.

"Don't... you ever wonder what it's like to lose?"

The question was innocent enough, enough to stem the eventual soft laughter that echoed out in the darkness of the room. "What kind of question is that. Of course not. I hate to lose."

"Ah... but I mean, why is it so important to always win?" Eyes looked sideways to the other body laying out in the bed. "More important than your own life?"

"Well... I mean... no. I.. don't think so. Unless, I was fighting to protect someone of course."

"Who do you have to protect?"

"Well you of course, silly."

"But I'm right here." A smile, even as hands wrapped around a limb. "You don't have to always protect what's close to you. Right?"

"Yea.... I guess so. But I mean, sometimes you have to do the right thing to, you know?"

"Like?"

"I'unno....saving a town... girl, whatever. You know, monsters and stuff."

"There are hardly any monsters left around here that don't already own a Trans Am or a Dojo in the city, mister."

"Eh... I.."

"You don't know why you fight, do you?"

"...." Silence, along with the brooding frown the other knew was formed along an angular chin.

"Would...it be so bad to lose...? How far are you willing to go... just to win?"

"...How far?"

"That guy isn't even around anymore... why bother fighting anymore?"

"It's all I'm good at. All I'm good for."

"Vahn... you know, if your not careful, before too long... your gonna keep on fightin' and end up becomin' just like those monsters you wanna kill. You'll bite through whatevers in your way..."

"I..."

"So... is it worth it..."

Now.

There was silence, admist everything and everyone, as Vahn simply remained knelt there, right arm still extended out.

"...To go that far..."

His head was facing Lazenca's direction, and his entire right arm was shaking. Blood. Sweat. Ice. And heat.

It was all over his face and body, and the crowd only stared on in shock and silence.

"...Before you just become some mindless thing... without a care to those you touch."

And the tears would not stop rolling down his face.

For he looked out with both eyes upon what he had done.

"Can't you lose... just once..."

And he wept.

79Supreme Jerk Commander

"Oh shi-."

Dash was one of the poor spectators who just so happened to be in Laz's path.

80Sunstrike

Sunstrike stood up and dusted himself off, face expressionless, even though, there was no dust to be seen. The long sleeves of the jacket he'd been keeping on against the cold...even in the swealtering arena, made the only sounds before the crowd erupted from horror into cheering.

Because that's what it was all about wasn't it? At the end of it all they were nothing but overskilled over payed gladiators. Forget that this had been just the first round...that's what made the carnage more popular then any of the rest.

That's why they'd been payed to come back. That's why teams like a** tear had suddenly appeared.

Everyone liked a good show.

He pulled himself up onto the platform, it was like stop motion the way the camera's picked up every step of the red head crossing the ring to the stunned and still smoking Vahn.

A hand reached out, and a single knuckle tapped once at the back of a black tousled head, seeming slightly insensitive and definately not what most would suspect.

Sunstrike said something, but it was lost to the roar of the crowds, the paramedics, and the endless sea of camera's.

Only Vahn would hear.

"Stop thinking the world is going to end, simply because you won this one. There's plenty of opportunities to lose yet." A smile creeped into his expression, though it was a sad one.

"It takes a little bit of practice."

81Vahn Fah

"....." He stood up from the edge of the ring, the left side of his body and a partial bit of his back still iced over. His chest heaved and fell with each breath, even as he stared to the crowd, to the camera's... to everyone just sitting there muttering to themselves.

The reports would later dredge in, with replays of the entire match up being shown. Frozen screen caps of both Shouyin dominating Shin, and Vahn's spearing of Lazenca.

However this was the present, and the mood of the crowd was divided.

"You losers were all talk!"

"You had us rootin' for you!"

"I WANT A REFUND!"

"Where's Bubbles?!"

The surprise at what had just happened turned to spite and anger, and a few disgruntled goers took it upon themselves to start tugging on Lazenca's body.

"Get the hell up! Get back in there! Beat 'em down dammit!"

That yellow eye widened even as his shout carried through the entire Casino. "SHUT UP YOU IDIOTS!!!"

There he stood, left side supported by Sunstrike, and his right arm raised menacingly.

"IF ANY OF YOU THINK YOU CAN LAST EVEN HALF AS LONG AS HE DID AGAINST ME THEN BRING IT!!

HE FOUGHT WITH MORE GUTS THAN ANY OF YOU COULD'VE HOPE TO SEE IN A LIFETIME!

AND I WONT LET ANYONE SAY OTHERWISE!"

He let his words hang in the air, as the animosity in the crowd died out.

Typical... so fickle... easy and hard to please all at once.

"Sun... when he wakes up, tell him.... we should do this again sometime."

His head lowered, he loosened himself from the redhead's grip, allowing him to go help Lazenca.

And so the Devil crossed the Wolf once more... staining the crimson sun.

82Sunstrike

"Tch." Sunstrike took one good look at Vahn, grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and totally swept both feet out from underneath. Forcing the man to land in a heap on the mat.

"Sit there, and wait for the ******** paramedics. Leave that point and I WILL hunt your wounded arse down. You won't get far, believe me."

Angry eyes glared at the stunned Vahn and then practically exploded with light as he turned to the crowd, taking them all in. Unanimously the crowds parted to let the onsight technicians in. Vahn would get treated or else.

Walking over to Laz he knelt down besides the canine man. This was very bad, already the paramedics were setting up a drip although they were shaking their heads.

How much do I have to give before I go mental, sweetness. Internally he spoke to the sleeping being tucked away.

Stupid hybrid water sack... Oh good, she was in a pleasent mood. You have none, and never will. You are already there.

That was a good enough indication for Sun. Tearing a strip of cloth off a bandage handed, he moped up a lot of the blood and bound the shoulder.

Being of ICE... The hiss was ignored as he scribbled a few runes through the blood and smoke. Something, reacted to the inscriptions and more blood pooled and started to become once again pure enough to use.

Sunstrike actually couldn't MAKE Laz a new arm. Well...he could, but that might be awkward to explain to the camera's. But he could make damn sure that the wolf being could hold on and recover from the blast. The flesh sealed itself, upon which Sun wrote something else that seeped into the new skin like a brand.

Standing up and yawning widely, he shoved his hands in his pocket and looked around. If Silver was still around he might catch the younger mans eyes and keep them for a puzzling few seconds, before going back to Vahn, swamped by...:twitch:

Female paramedics.

"Oh look at YOU..."

"Poor baby, we'll take care of you..."

"Don't struggle so much, sugar, you'll hurt yourself worse..."

"Then you'll have to spend ages with us!"

Titters from the group of girls trailed off with them all. He sighed, without much choice but to let them take the other guy off.

Sun'd probably get into trouble for that later on.

83Silver Alexander

Silver remained unmoved from his position during the entirety of the match, but his head was upright now, grinning openly for all to see. There was a bit of sadistic glee on his face as he looked at Vahn, and then turned his head ever so slightly so meet Sun's gaze as they hauled off the blood, sweat, and tear stained champion. The man who just couldn't lose.

Silver's eye narrowed at Sun, but in that joyful sort of way, which was probably more unnerving than relieving coming from Silver now.

What a marvelous display. I had expected nothing less. You are mine to kill, Vahn, and mine alone... don't you dare let yourself fall untill then, or I'll make it worse for you...

Silver scoffed and turned his back on the stage.

Tears for the fallen... Pitiful...

He began to walk, ready to leave, already bored with this place now that the carnage had subsided. He spoke aloud, and if the crowd hadn't become noisy again after the combatants had been dragged away, one of the cameras or recording crews might pick up his words.

"Let this be a lesson to the opponents of Glacier. When our name comes up on your FIGHTER, give up if you want to go home with all your limbs and extremities attached."

A bold statement, considering with his team mates' injuries, he and Sun, arguably the weaker half of the four, would step into the ring in the next round.

84Shouyin

Shouyin was... somewhere. A medical tent outside or some office on the inside of the casino cleaned up and made suitable for treating injuries. Whoever had been following him (he'd felt like someone was there, but never thought to look back and see), would've been denied access to such a place, FIGHTER or no assumedly. The half-golem would calmly sit through the work being done on his hand, unaffected by the sounds that came from the outside. With those explosions and the ground shaking beneath them, it was almost like a war zone, and between -those- two, it probably was.

"You people are insane..." the doctor's hands twitched with fear, the blade digging painfully into Shou's hand.

"Probably," the man grunted, "but would you mind thinking about that later?"

The man apologized and finished up. There wasn't much he could do after removing the glove. Shou had -holes- in his hand. The fellow just disinfected, reset the bones, applied a few stitches where the skin was still alive enough to piece back together, and wrapped a big bandage around his hand. A few stitches were put in the cuts below his eye and medical tape placed over them as well, but the half-golem had figured right, there'd be no scarring there.

"Alright... try not to use that hand for about a month."

Shouyin laughed, "You're kidding me, right?"

"Certainly not--- !" but Shou was already out the door, the fight glove held in his right as he looked over at the match, already concluded. It didn't take the screams of victory to recognize who'd one, a single look at that ring and it was obvious. The half-golem was sort of spiritual, Sokugoku 'n all, and it was enough that his thoughts went with the wulfman, this wasn't how it was supposed to go done amongst friends.

He headed for the exit, grabbing a taxi over to the Crimson Hawk.

A drink was in order.

85Just Three Words

Quote: Whoever had been following him (he'd felt like someone was there, but never thought to look back and see), would've been denied access to such a place, FIGHTER or no assumedly

"I need to get in there."

"I'm sorry ma'am, you can't. This place is for the injured only."

"But I want to see someone who is!"

"I told you already ma'am. Injuries only.."

"Tch."

The silver haired cyborg would suck on her teeth, pulling her belt from around her waist, grabbing it by the buckle to hold the short metal link inbetween her thumb and pointer finger, with a swift thrust of her hand she'd shove the piece into her left arm, not showing any sign of pain in her eyes, though on the inside, she wanted to let out one fierce howl.

And still, the nurse stood there, unamused with Minute's little show, the corner of her lip would curve into a smirk, while eyes connected.

"Self inflicted injuries are denied as well. Please leave, there are others that need-"

The radio would go off saying some fighters needed tending to in the ring pronto, shortly after the names would be given. Vahn and Lazenca. Our sturdy nurse would give a delighted squeal running off to treat her bishes.

"Son of a..."

Minute cursed under her breath, her eyes catching Shouyin as he left the tent, getting into a taxi to head off to some unknown place.

"Ahah!"

A smile would flash across her face as she ran toward him, stopping quickly to hail her own taxi. Once one showed, she'd hop in, leaning over the front seat to whisper in the man's ear in a seductive tone.

"Follow that taxi, and I'll give you something 'nice'."

Poor taxi guys and their not getting enuff booty.

'Cause he put the pedal to the metal, and surely followed in close pursuit of the golem's taxi.

Yay~

86Supreme Jerk Commander

Dash had heard who he though had been Silver, which caused him to sit up from his position on the floor and glance around.

"Silver?"

There was no way he was going to be heard over all the commotion though.

"SILVER, WAIT!"

Dash attempted to wade through the crowds, trying to reach Glacier's corner. An exercise in futality.

Stupid media...

87Uberwulf X

There could be some big epic post about hearing Vahn's exclamation in defense of him, and Sun's magic that made his Medium glow a dull shade of red before fading. Something about how it was supposed to be and feeling bad about letting down the fans who pulled at him, before the others intervened. Something about still being surrounded by the ladies, even when his arm was hanging on by threads.

But there was none. Somehow, they'd get him in a medical tent. Somehow, they'd hook him up to the machines. Somehow, Seung made his way through the crowd and got to the medical crew before he was whisked away, proving he was a Blazestar employee of high standing so that he could be allowed to sit with Laz and call the neccesary people to let them know the result of the fight. Somehow, somehow.

Laz heard nothing. Felt nothing. Saw nothing.

To him, he was nothing.

"...Long time no see."

88Ho Shin

"Damn..."

Beep...beep...beep...

The soft sound of breathing through a oxygen mask could be heard. As the camera panned slowly accross the infirmiry, it hovered slightly above Shin. There in one of the medical beds, he would lie.

It was after the actual match that Shin would see the outcome, displayed upon the small tv attached to the wall of the place.

He turned his head from the tv, not able to watch anymore of it, glancing to his right hand. Bandages in the shape of a hand was attached to his wrist. Luckily, the med-team was able to attend to him quick enough. What with all the magical healers and such, his hand was supposedly reattached...though he would never know for sure until the bandages came off.

A grin came to shin's face.

"In the end...I wonder how I can still...be happy. Somehow...its worth it."

Well, the last of the judging is done, and the scores are in and averaged out. Obviously there is going to be a lot of bitching, but its only expected when testosterone is flaring up in unbelievable levels.

Points are awarded in 4 categories, each part is worth 5 points. On a rating scale of 1-5 for each category.

  1. Did they break any rules?
  1. How long did it take them to post?
  1. Were they creative?
  1. Could you tell what they were doing? Also being were they able to describe their moves clearly?

So winning is not about beating the living crap out of someone, but rather RPing as a whole. Though of course, winning a round does provide bonus points, and contrary to that, arguements result in deduction of points.
