There was a soft crack of steel, as something made it's presence, and weight, known.

Stepping forth with a regal gait, and mantle that covered a towering form, the Judge took his position to the side.

The HoH Judges are the supreme enforcers of tournament law for the duration of each match. Each Judge wields extraordinary legal power in his or her own stage over fighters. In addition to functioning as "legal administrators", they are also charged with the task of guarding the spectators who may be around the stage.

Every Judge has archives on every participant on file, and can simulate the powers of a variety of them in order to target its opponent's weaknesses. This was due to the data collected via fighters, in which DNA samples, skin samples, tissue, blood, etc-- were all analyzed and broken down once a FIGHTER came into contact with the actual wearer.

With the appearance of the Judge, the match was slated to begin.

3Peppa Clause

A man walked out of the forest clearing. Upon being informed by his fighter that the first match of the tournament would be taking place at the durem reclmation facility, he made a hike. He preferred to be relaxed before a match, he'd be far too hyped up and unprepared if he had simply poofed there like he expected the rest of the people.

The smell of pine lingered on the Jedi.

It was christmas time, Peppa's favorite time of the year. He felt generally fuller around these times, despite any troubles within his life. Most of them were gone for the moment, only a spare few lingered in his mind at the moment. None of them stayed when he gazed down at the fighting grounds.

Fun stuff.

Peppa would think before applying telekinetic energy upon himself. Performing a quick force jump which landed him in the middle of the arena. Was funny that byt he looks of thigns, Peppa who expected to be the last one to show up, was first.

A new year was coming, with it came a new life.

Noticing the Judge, Peppa would turn to eye him down. ******** looked as if he was just a udmmy. Something truly terrifying to gawk at. Those metallic looks gave him the vision of.....inhuman. He probably was inhuman. Peppa didn't have much idea about the tournament other than that they knew everything about him.

He supposed it was for safety but it would be scary if somone got a hold of their database. All of gaias greatest warriors would simply fall. A scary idea in the end.

You speak?

THe blonde haired jedi would inquire before looking down. As promised he would fight with the submitted information. Chucking his vest and shoulder armor off the platform before unstrapping the oddly shaped blade off his back. With a slink, it would peirce the platform, stnading up by the blade at a good 80 degree angle.

I suppose you wouldn't, look like a neo british gaurd.

4Sieg ecstuffuan

Waves of force would flow through the air around the Durem reclemation facility. The bass like wise would make all solid things its medium, with its rythmic thump. At first these audible sensations would be light, barely percievble through the keen sense but gradually with time the sounds would become more dynamic.

Once the rythm of the song reached its crescendo, it would sound off with the sudden touch down of the arrival of Sieg ecstuffuan. He would suddenly touch down on the metallic platform of the durem reclemation facility. His ebony muscular form was adorned in clothes made for combat and for aesthetic purposes as well. He would land in a crouching position absorbing the impact of his flight landing into his powerful knees. In his right hand was his I-pod who's earbuds not only produced music within Siegs ears but shared it with all who were around him.

Damn he looked good.

It seemed almost impossible that such small milky white buds could produce such high volume but gaia was a strange world with strange things. Slowly as Sieg would rise to a standing position he would analyze the scene with his desert yellow orbs. A confident smirk would slowly grow upon his hansom visage, showing off his gleaming pearly white teeth. He caught site of his partner, peppa, the jedi.

He would begin walking towards peppa saying, "Wassup partna! READY TO THROW DOWN". Sieg spoke with an enthusiastic tone of a football player getting hyped up for his game. Sieg payed little attention to the stern looks of the judge whom peppa seemed to be confronting at the time. As Sieg shouted his right hand would clinch in its bawled up position and he leaned forward slightly as if to bellow out his call.

5Tenkai Matsumoto

In the distance, the young ronin was making his way calmly over to the facility. Dressed in a blue, diamond-patterned yukata with the kanji "shi", or "death" painted on his back, he made his way to the foot of the steps leading to the top of the facility. It didn't matter to him which color yukata he'd wear tonight. His usual one was just a bit torn up.

He knew everyone was making large, grand leaping entrances, but if he made something like that, it would only dull down the whole theme of the entrance through repetition. Instead, he'd respect his opponent's entrances with one of his own.

His geta clacked against the steps as he slowly made his way up the steps with a calm, confident stride with a look of determination in his normal, brown eyes. His semi-long dark brown hair swayed very lightly in the wind. At his left side was a pair of sheathed Japanese swords, one with a black tsukagashira and the other one white. His footsteps grew louder with each step he took, the hard wood resounding against the metal of the facility as he proceeded up to the platform.

Once he was at the top, the one known as Tenkai Matsumoto, better known as Matthew and to some as the "Shinimusha," he stood before the large resevoir, seeing that people from the opposing team had arrived before him. That was good to see, he thought. Things were coming into place now.

The holidays had been quite close to the tournament's beginning, and because of what Matthew was, he felt invigorated by the season. In some ways, it was fortunate that the tournament was being held so close to when he was at his peak. He needed to be at his best in order to honor his opponents with a good fight. He looked over to them, a calm, proud smile coming to his face. He could feel the power coming from both of them, and that was just the two of them. His team was truly fortunate to encounter such great fighters off the bat. It made the whole thing worth it.

The anticipation of the impending battle caused Matthew's aura to begin flaring up...starting with a few tendrils of spirit energy rising off of his body. Soon, it would begin to cycle around him lightly, with blue spectral flames spiraling about him. He held his palm up, forming a small blue spirit flame in the middle of it. It gradually grew in intensity as he slowly raised his hand up high. Once it was at the highest point he could hold it, he threw his arm to the side as if one would when throwing the blood off of a blade in a whipping motion, extinguishing the fire and his aura long with it. His smile of anticipation had faded, leaving a calm look of readiness.

It was...sublime. The stage was set for the first round. Nothing could have been better for the young ronin at this time. Their first match would be against a team that was honorable enough to make the entire tournament worth while. Matthew cared not about winning or losing now. Fighting such worthy opponents was all he could ever ask for.

"Shinimusha...koko ni imasu."

6Sieg ecstuffuan

It was strange. Just as matthew took his modest steps up to the reclemation facility platform the song 'thats that' by Snoop dog fet. R. Kelly would begin blasting out of SIegs I-pod. It wasnt like Sieg could hear matthew through this but through the minds eye he could feel him. Sieg could feel the brilliance of spiritual energy radiating from matthews being and Sieg looked out of the corner of his eye to his left. "Ooh Pretty"

After peppa would respond and he would respond back ofcourse. He would pivot on the balls of his feet lifting his right hand up and making a small wave like gesture with his index and middle finger extended towards matthew while saying," 'Sup Matthew! How you doin mayn?!", Sieg said with a smile. He had met matthew previously before this and Sieg thought he was a cool guy.

Amazing really. It was hard to find people who seemed as genuine as matthew these days. These days you always saw people who somewhat like Sieg and peppa seemed a bit on the abnormal side but matthew; didnt seem like he came out of some videogame like the rest of them. Cept for the whole, 'Carries katana's' things.

Sieg took a fient glance at the mans weapons and that made him wonder, 'where the heck is our katana wielding leader anyway'. Sieg then kind of looked around through his minds eye, there was no physical movement that came with this action; just like a sattelite scanning the world below. 'Damn, I dont see him...', Sieg wondered where the hell he was...

Anyway..

7Seventh Normal

Whether or not anyone noticed a small child that was almost as pale as snow was following the Shinimusha closely from behind as if she were freightened.

Her short but neck touching length of white hair swayed softly as Matthew's spiritual aura shot up with anticipation.

The spike of energy was enough to make her jump slightly. Umbriel was slowly starting to wonder what she was doing here. This cruel nervousness inside of her just wouldn't let up at all...but...it was somehow different. At the moment she wasn't sure if she was scared, excited, or just cold. Her emotions were starting to become painfully mixed.

Part of her wanted to fight and give it all she had...the other part wanted to chicken out, dispite the fact that she knew she couldn't do anything like that....And...the other part..Just...didn't care. It was useless to run away after all that hardwork. Nothing good would come of it. However the way she was feeling now she might as well just sit there and LET the opponent knock her around.

The small white haired child shook her head feircely. No...That was no way to look at things. She had pledged to herself to do a good job...So she was going to do just that.

After meekly walking out from behind Matthew, she'd slowly turn her eyes up to look at the two taller opponents.

Perhaps switching into a more battle fitting appearance would do her well at this time.

The little girl crossed her arms as if she were focusing and slowly uncrossed them and allowed them to gracefully fall back down to her hips. This simple action, along with releasing a deep breath, allowed her to give off all the held back energies inside of her body. Her frame would instantly glow with an almost blinding light as it instantly started to change and mature into an older more adult form. Behind the curtians of light her long strands of white became the purest of silver and grew long enough touch the ground and shadow feirce dark grey orbs..that glowed like they were on fire.

In a matter of seconds the celestial child transformed herself into a seventeen yearold woman that was dressed entirely in a black fighter's uniform that had been supplied to her by the Amatsu.

Umbriel would stand there silently while looking at her now gloved hands and narrowed her eyes, which had slowly changed from dark grey to crimson red. A calm look would slip about her expression and a soft sigh would slip from her lips as she looked over towards Matt and nodded in his direction. She'd then look towards her opponents and nodded her hellos.

Hopefully...things wouldn't turn out as bad as she felt they would. She hated being nervous...

8Tenkai Matsumoto

Matthew saw that Sieg had recognized him. Ah...that was most fortunate. Above all else, he wanted to enjoy this fight. No estrangement here. His smile returned, this time an obviously friendly one, as the young man in the yukata shot Sieg a thumbs up.

Sure, it wasn't the most in-style of gestures, but Matthew's upbringing was not the usual one for most humans. He had been raised up for half of his life at the Vatican and the rest in rural Japan, both in Shimabara and Kyoto. Although a "thumbs up" was somewhat hackneyed, it worked for him in expressing his respect for the fighters of Lu Bu, and how glad he was to be facing them. That was the meaning of honorable combat.

Matthew was not one to pry, but with his empathy he was able to feel that Sieg was thinking about something. Seeing the missing piece of the picture, it was obvious to Matthew who he was wondering about: Kichiro. This was only so apparent to Matthew because the anticipation of being able to fight someone he had worked alongside with in the past once. And it was right off the bat, too. With that set in his mind, all that was left would be the sweet satisfaction of a great battle.

He turned his head to the side as the bright light shone, revealing the somewhat adult form of his second teammate, Umbriel. He was glad to have someone as in tune with Matthew's superiors as he was himself. It helped fit with the theme of the tournament. Although she was visibly nervous, he knew she was a capable fighter. He had the fullest confidence in all of his teammates.

Speaking of which, he was still missing Kitsune, his third team member. Knowing her, however, she was bound to pop in soon enough. Matthew could never go anywhere without Kitsune following him like a lost puppy, which was rather endearing. She seemed to have some driving force pushing her onward for this tournament, too...as if something troubled her. Though he did not know what that was, perhaps she would tell him in time.

But for now, he'd have to wait for her. He nodded at Umbriel and then to Sieg and Peppa before lowering down on his left leg to the knee, following with the right afterwards as he rested on the back of the heels of his geta in seiza position. He laid his hands lightly onto his thighs, sitting in what looked to be a respectful and meditative stance, one that people would see the samurai of old sitting in when they were before honored guests.

9-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

"I guess people might be wondering where their Kichi' is."

The Chimagin chuckled as he made way to the facility.

"Not that the captains will be the first to fight mind you, seems silly to put the finest swordplay first when there is so much fun to be had."

Kichiro turned to a spectator, informing him and those around of his intentions.

At the sidelines. Wrote:

"He looks rather shadowy, but acts rather not.

What an oddball?"

A surprised man would turn to his girlfriend at the side, come to watch the fights. Ah, the romantic type of date.

Turning back to his teammates, and the opposing captain, Kichiro would come near. His hands were gloved in black, and hidden within the folds of an overcoat which blew around him. 6'5" with the boots he wore, Kichiro looked something of a giant for those of Eastern nature. A sheath at his left hip could be seen, carrying a coldsteel wakazashi. On his back is an upside down sheath going from left shoulder to right hip, carrying a katana of mythril origins.

"So... uh... how do we want to do this?"

Kichiro looked from his teammates to Mathew, not as confident as what to do considering this was his first HoH match.

10Sieg ecstuffuan

"I didnt know you had a ki...ohh...nevermind.", Sieg said just as he saw the girl transform into an older form. Sieg turned his attention back towards mat who had given him a thumbs up, he returned a smile wider than the confident grin that was ever painted upon his hansom ebony visage. He would then look towards the girl again. His hands would drift towards the brims of his black invisibly armored pockets. She looked strong, it wasnt her size but she just had that mysterious look that in gaia always meant that there was more than what the eyes could behold. "Nice to meet you...

Hmph, So there you are", Sieg would turn his head as if something had just been whispered into his ear. His grin would become wider as he looked towards the crowd at no particular person. He would then after a while of stairing turn his whole body and just as he did kichiro would appear. "The entrance was alright. I give it an 8 out of 10.", Sieg said in a joking manner towards kichiro would wouldnt really respond but would simply go straight to business and say to matthew.

"How do you want to do this"

Siegs gaze would immediatly shift to matthew, waiting for the answer looking like a laughing hyena who was enjoying a good joke over his dead pray.

11Seventh Normal

Umbriel's emotionless stare slowly moved towards Sieg and swiftly livened up again. She'd smile towards him and bowed slightly and respectfully in his direction.

Since this was just a tourniment and not one of her usual jobs, she knew she had no need to show any form of hardness.

It was mostly why she was throwing around her emotions so much in the first place. With this being her first tourniment...it was best that she took everything deep inside of her and brought it outwards. Or...basically..Act like the human she wasn't.

If there was one thing she didn't like..It was the fact that her kind were always considered nothing more then God's little robots...She'd change that image at least. The had just as much heart as the next race after all..And perhaps that'd bring some warmth to the seraphs that were watching her back at home.

" Nice to meet you as well." She'd reply in a soft and very welcoming tone. Something not even Matt had even heard out of her before.

Afterwards the questions where asked. She'd look towards her leader. Her eyes were full of curiousity. She hoped to see to it that she did just what Matt expected out of her.

12Tenkai Matsumoto

As soon as he heard Kichiro's steps followed by his voice, Matthew's smile once again returned to his face, and he began to stand up. Leading with his left leg first and following with his right, he slowly stood up, his geta clacking lightly and resounding against the steel floor as he stood erect. He was only 5'6"...not that impressive in height. But he was husky, in the sense one would see the physique of some Japanese mountain hermits or monks. Everything was coming into place now. All they needed now as Kitsune.

Meanwhile... Wrote:

The people in the crowd on the other side were starting to get a little curious about Matthew as well. His appearance didn't make him look like much. He almost looked as if he wasn't in the right condition to compete in this kind of a league. Two spectators spoke back and forth about this.

"He looks a bit too short for a samurai..."

"A bit on the heavy side, too. But that could be muscle, too."

"I dunno about height or size, though. Ever seen Karate Kid? Or Zatoichi?"

"Mehh...let's just watch..."

Matthew knew what Kichiro was thinking when he asked how he wanted to do this. Probably because he was thinking the same thing. It'd be too anti-climactic to have the leaders duke it out right off the bat without the building excitement of the other great team members making their honor known in combat before them. As such, Matthew would have this to say.

"I'm sure you know that your fight is with me, Kichiro," he said. "And I must say it's an honor to fight you and your team right off the bat. Your the kind of team I'd have expected to have to fight my way through other teams just to make it up to you. Instead, we have been honored by the first round's bracket. Win or lose, my team and I will have been able to accomplish what we came here to do. It's made the whole thing worth while, and I wouldn't have it any other way."

"As such, I'd prefer that we save our fight for the end and have our teammates fight first," he continued, "I already have an idea of who I would like to place against whom in this round, unless you'd like me to wait until my last teammate arrives."

"It is great to see you again, Kichiro," he added. Truly, a fight with a swordsman of his caliber would make the whole ordeal of getting here worth while. In his mind, this was as exciting as the final round.

Still...deep within his thoughts, he wondered how Yusuke was doing with his bracket. He wished his ally luck, hoping to encounter his team later on should his team advance.

13Sieg ecstuffuan

Sieg hadnt bowed to anyone in years, being a mixed martial artist sometimes pulled you away from the traditional gestures such as bowing. Though Sieg returned the gesture, slamming the padding of his right MMA glove into the palm of his left. His eyes however, never left the girl as he bowed. It wasnt that he didnt trust her, it was just old habits that still lingered from before he came to gaia.

Though, Sieg found something strange about the girl. He got the same kind of feeling from her as the feeling he got while praying. Sieg had only recently gained a theological sense but he wondered could this girl be a celestial whom sat closer to god. If that were the case, then Sieg didnt have much of a chance of winning this match...but wrestling with an angel...in more of a physical sense would be fun as hell.

He would not speak of his speculations but only of what he knew,"Well I dont think we should keep all these people waiting. I guess I could tithe them over until you guys fight, Im sure your match will be the most spectacular...so saving it for last is the best.", Siegs eyes interloct with the female being before him."Well mam I guess I will be your opponent for this evening."

Siegs right hand would raise towards his face so that his right hand thumb would be allowed to brush the tip of his nose. His right foot would slide backwards to the right simoutaniously as he did this. He would then grab the I-pod velcro strapped to his large bicep on his left arm with his right hand, and then toss it away into the crowd; leaving his arm extended dramatically after the throw. The crowd would jump to claim the discarded peace of technology. All the while his gaze remained locked with hers.

14-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

Dark strands of hair would flow from Kichiro's shoulders and near the ground as he bowed, with both hands hidden on his knees in a bow. A traditional manner where Kichiro's head dipped just below Mathew's in respect.

"You honor me with your words too much, old friend."

Kichiro's right hand would slip from his overcoat behind him, towards Sieg with a thumb's up.

Crystal green eyes glinting with a bit of excitement, and a bit of Kichiro's typical michevious nature, he'd look back up to Mathew from the bow.

"I'm not as patient as I use to be though."

Standing and readjusting the top hat above him, Kichiro tilted his head and looked over Mathew's shoulder to Umbriel.

"She seems just as anxious as Seig, I say we let the two fight since their both active at present. We can them have the Jedi fight whoever you've got on the way, while we wait."

On the shoulder post. Wrote:

"Awesome, we might get to see a fight already Mom!"

Susy pulled at her mom's hair, sitting atop her shoulders and holding on tight with anticipation. Only in Gaia was the eight year old daughter a common audience member, and only in Gaia could her hearing pick up exactly every detail above a huge crowd.

Perhaps some angel/demon/vampire/wolf/bats were watching in the back drop.

"Well, how about it?"

Kichiro asked the ronin.

15Tenkai Matsumoto

Matthew heard all of this, seeing the excitement boiling between Sieg and Aisua, and began to laugh whole heartedly. How splendid this was! Both of them were fired up for the first match, so why would he want to deny them the pleasure? Especially when he would soon have the pleasure of doing battle with Kichiro.

"Ahahaha! Yoshi!" he exclaimed, hammering his fist into his palm like a gavel in the Japanese fashion of exclamation. "Wonderful idea! Much better than my original plan."

He didn't want to keep this waiting any longer. The rounds were beginning elsewhere. They had to get it underway.

"Go ahead, Umbriel. This is your fight. Fight with honor, and above all else...enjoy it!"

16Seventh Normal

Umbriel found something inside her snap almost instantly. All of a sudden she was shivering even more then she was the first time she showed up. Except this time she didn't even look c lose to scared. An uncharacteristic smirk slipped softly across her lips. The look in her eyes became ferm and interest instantly exploaded inside of her crimson orbs like a gas bomb.

This guy looked powerful. Seriously so. She was starting to wonder if she was right being nervous before. But all of a sudden that part of her that wanted a peice of this guy instantly grew so strong that it devoured her heart and soul. All of sudden she had the greatest urge to fight she had ever had in her entire life.

The winds blew gently and Umbriel s lowly turned her body off to the side so that her right shoulder would be aimed directly for Seig. She'd slide her right foot foward and turned her front towards him halfway once again after slipping her right arm away from her body. Her forearm now aimed almost directly at him with her right hand halfway open.

Just as she felt her right leg bend forward slightly, her back leg bent down slightly further to give off a stronger support.

She had taken the stance of a right back stance, as some martial artists called it and it seemed she would complete her stance by leaning forward and holding her right hand just passed her left hip, in which her left hand rested as if she were holding a katana sheath.

She had instantly taken the stance as if she were about to draw a katana blade...But there was none in sight.

Strands of silver swayed over her excited crimson reds, " I suppose you are then, Sir." She'd reply gently though with alot more depth in her voice then before. Her excitement and interest in this man had spiked up considerably. It was obvious.

Since she had just taken the time to get into stance she decided she'd give him the right of the first move.

His stance didn't look defensive so...Why not? Right?

"Plans are meant for changing my good friend."

At that, Kichiro would be rushing off to the base of the stairs to the catwalks on the reservoir.

"Go get 'em black superman."

Kichiro was obviously referring to Seig, and smiled at the man with a look in his eye that said he was ready. Kichiro wanted to fight, but he would do as any good anime and wait for the other two before fighting the opposing captain.

Less the next fight took too long to get too, then Kichiro's patience might just run out.

There was no first move, It was no pattern, but more like the flow of water

Simoutaniously with the opponents position shift, Siegs extended right hand moved along with the rest of his body. In a single fluid motion Sieg would sink into his ready stance. Sieg had seen her stance before in iaido but other than that he physically saw nothing; though through his minds eye which flayed opened in that single instance he would percieve things unpercievable through physical perception.

All at once, he slides his left foot forward to the left putting his left foot in front of his right so that the upper tip of his right foot sole(toes) was aligned with the very bottom of his left foot sole(heel). His feet are spread medium width, so that he maintains good balance. His weight is distributed on his feet 50/50 for the most part. He stands on the balls of his feet keeping his heels slightly elevated. His knees are bents slightly only 170 to 160 degree. His left foot toes point forward while his right point forward at about 70 degree angle to the right.

His hands would simoutaniously move into position, his right hand would move in front of his chin which he had tucked down. His right elbow is alllowed to touch the body. His left hand is positioned a few inch's in front of his right hand at his rib level. His Left arm elbow is held about an inch away from his body. Siegs posture is erect, with his body facing forward though turned slightly to the right sence his left foot is forward. His hands are held loose, so that the fingers are curled instead of bawled into tight fist. The Teeth are clinched together. His shoulders are relaxed.

In this stance he begins to bounce up and down on the balls of his feet with his feet never actually leaving the ground. His hands bounce at the same frequency of his body, his left hands position shifts between its rib level and his shoulder level and occasionally extends out a few inch's. Simoutaniously, his tan tein would oustrech by 20%.

He would move forward, attempting to close the distance using the shuffle step. The shuffle step is done by first sliding his left foot forward by pushing on his right foot, and then he follows up by sliding his right foot forward to complete a single step. At no time in this shuffle do the feet cross or touch each other. The steps in this movement are rapid, making his advance fast.

Simoutaniously with his start in movement he would utter a silent prayer for him and his opponent. All the while the crowds fell silent, but one source of sound echoed out from the crowd soon; piercing the silence. A young boy who caught Siegs I-pod began to play "Bone Thugs N' Harmony - Playa hater"

19Seventh Normal

Umbriel's eyes flickered instantly at the sight of his movement. In a matter of seconds her expression had gone from interested to serious. This was where the fight would start, as she was granted the first action.

As if mirroring her opponent she pressed down with her left foot and sent her body forward. While doing this she'd quickly draw her right hand away from her left hip, and flicked the thumb of her left hand as if she were pushing the handgaurd of her invisible blade away from her invisible sheath. It was then something that appeared to be worth the attention would occur. A flash of light as if from a sword blade would attempt to spark attention towards it as she moved forward and forced her right forearm forward and away from her opponent as if she were attempting to slash vertically at him with thin air.

However as this action fluently continued on one would do well to notice that her hand had swung abit too far for a sword swing. Then it was obvious. She was using the momentium commonly used for when one would perform a quick draw of a katana to swing her left side around to meet the man just as he performed his shuffle step forward.

As her left swung forward, when she lifted her left foot just barely off the ground, she'd open her left hand and aimed her palm for the area just slightly off target of his on comming right side.

As she opened her left hand energies sparked around her hand like electricity and the winds instantly spiraled around her wrist as she fired her open palm forward for the area of the rib and abs. By the time she had fired her left hand her left foot was already stationed hard on the ground and pressed down for traction as if she were preparing for yet another movement...

If her palm managed to come with in connecting range the energies of spirit surrounding her hand would instantly react to this man's own energy signature. The winds around her wrist would rush forward like a powerful but very blunt bullet, and cause the impact to be like being hit by a much larger force...

This would be the beginning of her Rushing Palms technique.

Post 2

She telegraphed the hell out of that.

By the time she moved into her stance Sieg would already have been in his own stance moving forward. that means that they would be moving towards each other. Sieg would accelerate in his movement at the start of her own attacking movement in response to the telegraphed movement the girl made, they would enter hand to hand range much sooner than the female would have anticipated.

The spark of the blade would not do much to fake Sieg, his guard was up and if it the attack did exist then it woudnt do much damage because of Siegs iron body skill; and if an attack had in fact happened he would continue to drive forward - making her initial fake or real attack irrelevent.

Upon entering hand to hand range Sieg would perform a jab to the girls right eye as she began to turn with the sword draw. The jab would be made while changing the direction of his shuffle step to an arch to his left. The jab could be made while sitll in motion. The left hand fist would clinch just before the jab would hit, increasing the explosive power of the attack. The jab itself was difficult to see, far faster than even a pro-boxers.

Putting the left fist at least in front of her eye during the performance of the invisible sword slash, could throw the aim of her follow up attack off, since Sieg was moving into the peripheral vision in that the jab would momentarily throw off.

Now immediatly after the jab Sieg would see the right hand raise even farther away from her body and the left hand charged with metaphysical energies towards his abdomen. He was already moving to the left and this would most likely already cause the attack to miss; however to remain safe Sieg would use his 'spiritual lightness' ability to make a quick and weak burst of energy from his feet which would push his body a little bit more to the left(your right). This would be nearly unnoticiable because it would simply push Siegs body a bit to the left, in a direction that it was already going. During this movement the left hand would return to guard.

Siegs aura energies would not come in dangerous contact with the volitile energies located in her palm strike that passed by Sieg to the right of his hip. Immediatly as the palm strike of his opponent missed Sieg would stop his shuffle step while throwing a left shovel hook. The body mechanics of this punch would also help Sieg to evade the palm. This punch would include a large amount of body mechanics but would happen in an flash, far faster than the girls own attack. The power of this attack would bring her weight up and off the floor and put her on her back.

Siegs physical ability were doubled for every 20% of tan tein level.

[if you need shovel hook mechanics, just ask, this post is already too long.]

So much for that idea.

In a matter of seconds she felt a sharp wind rush right by her right eye, just as she had barely made the spin with her hips going towards the right, and out of pure dumb luck, inclined her head backwards slightly. Instinct decided to kick in right when she saw the jab comming towards her eye. That was the best explaination she could ever give.

This feeling stung her right eye severely dispite no connection being made while the two were moving so quickly.

Due to this she'd instinctively slam the breaks down on left foot as he swung forward from it's half planted arc...And she'd swiftly release pressure on her right foot and caused it to slip off to the left while exstending further outwards towards the ground. This helped her hips swing faster towards the right and allowed her blurred right eye to catch slight movement near the peripherals.

In a swift struggle to move away from her opponent she'd use the traction gained from her left foot and pushed herself backwards to avoid an attack that she didn't manage to see completely but felt comming through the senses of nervousness from earlier.

slightly off the ground and going backwards she'd feel the wind from a second attack set up for her and landed in a kneal with her right hand floating now, alittle higher then her head and off to the side, while her left hand was forced to press down quickly on the ground so that she could stable herself after such frenzied actions.

Since the energies did not get the chance to sense this man's presense at all they had yet to see a reason to release, like planned from before. The dust of the ground around her left hand raised slightly and broke up around her hand. She'd flush alittle more energy into her palm and decided to use it for something more.

Since she had avoided using it at first the constant flow of energy would build up in her hand and give her more to work with when she decided to use that energy. The winds continued to whisp around her wrist...however since she lost consentration they were too weak to be very noticable.

The energies however were still present.

Coming through the brush, Kitsune had finally made her appearance.

Better late than never, ne?

Small, delicate feet were covered by white paw-like shoes, tight blue jeans defining her long slender legs. A furry red and white-tipped tail swayed behind her as she sauntered over to stand next to her team captain. The tight denim jeans hung off her wide hips, beautifully proportioned with her small bare waist, her bronze-tanned skin hidden under a tight tube top, however not hiding the highlights of her full chest, her bust constricted by the dark sapphire silk. Her toned arms were decorated by long white finger-less gloves, revealing sharp talons on the end of her fingernails.

Her skin was flawless, not a mar or scratch on it, that beautiful neck and revealed skin tantilizing any man who'd set eyes on her, for Kitsune, appropriately nicknamed "The Vixen" had the demeanor to drive men to distraction.

Her rosy lips glistened as she ran her tongue across them, licking her lips. Concentrated black obsidian eyes were uncovered as she swept a few stray lockes of her short sandy-blonde hair out of the way, tucking them behind a furry rust-red fox ear. A silver hoop earring on her right ear glistened in the light, moving along with her body, hanging off the fox-like appendage. Well, she was a fox demoness, after all.

"Sorry, Matthew, I had a few things to take care of," Kitsune apologized casually, sounding a bit more like herself. Lately she had shown a bit more of a demeanor of formality and seriousness, but now it seemed to dissappear, her casual personality now seeming to return. She at least had to stay focused up to now, now she did things her way.

Even King Yamma wouldn't stop her from getting Chronos back.

Take that, biyatch.

She put her elbow on Matthew's shoulder, leaning on him lightly. "Did I miss much?" Kitsune inquired, with a grin, then taking a look at Umbriel. Well, the little missy seemed fine enough, having already earned herself a fight.

Be knocked right back to the ground...

Sieg having no reason to throw the shovel hook because the opponents own attack never was thrown. As she jumped back in retreat, Sieg would follow, not letting the distance reduce between them. By the time she jumped back Siegs left hand would already have been recovered back into its guard from the jab and as his opponent was in the air he would throw his next attack; not giving her any time to rest.

He would throw the lead low left round house towards the opponents right leg, this coupled wth Siegs doubled physical ability would knock the airborn opponents body sideways and onto her back on the steel plates of the facility floor. The lead low left roundhouse would be thrown with Siegs guard up and with perfect technique; which would easily floor the opponent.

The shin of the kick would also hit sensitive nerves within the leg, making it difficult to get up. This attack would be thrown without any telegraph, making his attack seem even more sudden and explosive.

Once She hit the ground Sieg would take mount and...

Kichiro had been waiting down by the side and climbed up to the side behind Umbriel, for just the opportune moment.

This was it.

Two inches of padding on his boots, and all the training of a shinobi in the past. That and some spiritual hiding through mind tricks with the solar plexus chakra, would have any paranormal senses getting signatures all over the place. Kichiro had just enough time to run in on the catwalk with complete stealth. He ran from behind Umbriel.

At his right, from the flying overcoat behind him, something could be seen. It was Kichiro's katana, and it was sheathed. In he came with a blurr of Chimagin speed, yellow flame from his chakra point building up and at the last couple seconds behind Umbriel the flame would ignite and cover the sheath of the weapon. Under his control, it was only hostil towards Umbriel.

However, this was not the beauty of the assisst.

The flaming sheath came right behind her knee caps, likely interrupting whatever move she would have liked to do and send her falling backwards with Sieg's attack.

That and perhaps becoming a little hot in the process.

And Kichiro's ten seconds of flame would be up, jumping over the likely falling figure and Sieg over to the other side of the reservoir.

He'd spike the landing, with the overcoat slowly drifting down about him. The flames on his sheath would sparkle in his crystal green eyes, and he looked back over his shoulder to see the effect.

While she was in the middle of moving backwards she managed to notice that the attack she had managed to 'sense' didn't come. Noticing the lag and already freaking out due to being grazed so close by his very first move she quickly pulled her leg back in attempts to help her momentium raise abit higher so it wouldn't be hard for her to gain alittle more distance then she had first intended in attempts to try and escape any attempts of an interruption move.

Simoutaniously she'd release the stored energy in her palm, and cause the winds ringing around her wrist to grow much more powerful along with her movements.

Since she was moving backwards and the air was being forced to move along with her body it allowed the increase in wind strength to come somewhat easily as she swung her hand forward as if to smack Seig out of the way and unleashed a semi-powerful gust of wind that would only carry her higher into the air, unknowingly allowing her to sail over Kichiro's attempted attack.

If Seig continued forward now he'd be slapped by a pretty strong gust of wind.

Now higher in the air she'd come to see Kichiro's person rushing back for where he stood. Surprise shook her but she tried hard not to dwell on it. For now she'd use her higher placement as an advantage and summoned the wind to come towards her feet and create a hard wind for her to 'float/stand' on. She breathed hard for a moment and narrowed her eyes. This guy was pretty tough.

OOC: I do have a few concerns, not to mention what kichi said but for the sake of the battle...Ill just flow with it.

Psh...whatever...

As soon as somehow both of there attacks missed despite the fact that simply raising her legs wasnt going to increase her momentum but assuming she released the wind gust fast enough, Sieg would do this: The lead low left round house would cause Sieg to bend his right leg deeper in order to sink his weight into the kick. Sieg would immediatly as the kick missed and just as she released the gust of wind.

Sieg would push off his bent right leg, bursting into the air using his spiritual lightness ability. He wasnt just jumping, he was now flying. The range between them woudnt decrease and the power of Siegs sudden flight would blow through the gust of wind and Siegs strength made it so he barely felt the gust. Sieg would then throw another right low round house to the left side of her legs. Because this was with the right legs and was done in midair, the power of this kick would be tremendous. The force would damage nerves in the lower thigh and cause tremendous trauma to the leg joints.

She would be knocked sideways and would promptly begin to fall towards the ground, but Sieg wasnt going to stop there...

Right when Sieg pushed off towards her and rushed into the air and continued into his next attack, Umbriel realized she would just have to try and stop him instead of run away. So far it seemed almost as if her every move had already been planned...She hated that and at the moment she was getting frustrated.

She saw it as he attempted to do yet another low roundhouse kick and decided enough was enough. Takeing no time to watch as he would bring himself into this low kick she'd throw herself forward angryly instead and let her legs swing backwards as she attempted to use some of the energy she had left to blast herself forward since she still had abit of energy in her left hand and could easily send the same small amount to her right hand.

Now diving towards him she'd gather more energy and she'd attempt to power bomb him back to the ground. Now that he was airborne, hopefully he didn't have much control of the surrounding air around him. She would attempt to fling herself over his kick and grapple him instantly in mid air so that the added weight and momentium of herself rushing towards him would force him towards the ground and suffer the pain of having his own momentium cancel out around him.

Just to make sure she'd stay in place she'd make it so that the head would be one of the first things to missle him almost on his solar plexus.

On contact she'd force her spiritual energies to release around her body and suck in the wind like a vaccuum so they'd rush down towards the ground at a blistering speed...And since she was already considered hard headed in her homeworld, she was sure that if this worked it was gonna hurt.

Grapple?

Sieg?!

Oh she didnt even know how bad she just ******** up

She had to remember, Sieg wasnt jumping up at her; he was flying. There was metaphysical energies pushing Sieg up towards her. His ability to manipulate the air around him was irrelevent.Sieg would mearly recover his kick quickly, if she hadnt noticed yet Siegs attacks were effecient and powerful most if not all of them could be recovered quickly putting Sieg back into a good position; especially now that he was airborn.

Seeing that his kick missed and she was now going forward he would continue flying into her. She didnt have much room to gain momentum So as soon as her head came in range Sieg would throw a right cross using the waist movement present in his right roundhouse kick. Sieg woudnt use his fist but he would use a palm strike that would slam into her head as it came forward into his chest.

The Punch and Siegs forward flying momentum would deal a collosal amount of damage. Her brain would swash back and fourth within the cage of her skull, hitting against the bone matter of her skull. The right cross would also form distance between them, preventing her energized hands from wrapping around Sieg. Sieg would simply close his hands around her tiny head from the palm strike.

Instead Sieg would grasp her head with both hands, both palms positioned at the back of her skull. Sieg would then as he pushed her head and the rest of her body forward with his forward flying energies, place his chest on her head. In this instance he would tense his pectoral muscles. His doubled strength would make it feel as if his tensing chest muscles were actually puncher her on the head, and this combined with the grasp on her head with his hands would give Sieg complete control over her head.

Siegs flying force was still pushing in the opposite direction, at this point his flying energies would most likely have overcome her own bursting force. They were now over the water, but Sieg would not Stop.

He would begin kneeing her with both knees at varying angles, hitting everything from her jaw, to her chest, to her obliques, ramming the hard bone of his knee into her. Sieg would do so with inhumane force, because of his Iron body ability he didnt have to worry about damaging himself as he would perform these monstrous onslaught of muay thai attacks.

The crowd below would gaze in awe as it sounded like gunshots errupted with each attack.

And that is Superman Juijitsu

Matthew looked upon the fight earnestly, watching closely as the battle went on. Sieg was very skilled with his martial arts and physical strength, and Umbriel was using her wind manipulation to balance it out, as it seemed. It was very exciting to see what both his teammate and the opposing team's teammates were capable of. Not only that, but another one of the Lu Bu members, their alternate, had arrived to cheer on her teammates. This was getting off to a rather interesting start. The anticipation of battle by watching others in combat was almost too great.

But he didn't want to shout out loud, or else he might distract Umbriel, who was still a bit on edge from the anticipation she had felt before. He'd calmly smile, watching the fight closely. He couldn't wait until it was his turn.

She closed her eyes tightly and her mind was put in a total ******** for afew seconds, however she was able to bring herself back to reality the moment she felt his hand close around her head. Enough was enough...That was all she could think other then something that had suddenly reached her attention.

She was a luna seraph for one and being as she was basically created for battle, little things like damage couldn't so easily be measured for her kind.

Sure alot of his attacks hurt, but not nearly as much as it would for one who was just a plain old human. If anything she could take this beating...However that wasn't the plan for now. Right when she was pulled towards his chest ,and before he had moved fast enough to do his kneeing tactic, she decided she needed to take action and quick. She knew just the way.

In an instant her body would give off a bright glow as she forced all her inner energies to swiftly be compressed inside of her body. This bright glow would swiftly become blinding, and at the range Sieg's eyes were, they were bound to suffer some serious pain. In a matter of seconds she had returned to her little girl form, and took advantage of the small amount of time it would take for him to realize his hand wasn't so carefully pressed against her head anymore. She'd aim her arms upward as fast as she possibly could, and being as they were much smaller and attached to her body this took no time at all.

Simultaniously she'd allow herself to fall out of his hands quickly, since he didn't seem to try and keep close hand formation around her neck, and forced the rest of head through by causing the wind to rush out from under her and blast her directly towards the ground so that she'd slip directly under his momentium. Once her person had slipped out from under him and slipped into his jetstream she'd redirect her hands to break away from his movement's wind.

This of course would force her into a roll since she was still abit screwed over from what he had done to her head and now that she was rolling through the air with only her abilitly to take a massive beating as her sheild, assuming the escape was successful, If it was indeed she'd hit the catwalk once again and roll hard on the metal surface...Her small form could take it due to the reinforcment of her energies in her body and the mere fact that she wasn't human in the first place...However all the same she'd be scuffed up pretty badly and bruses would glore.

She'd look like she'd been through hell..which was about right at this point.

As soon as the light began to shine, Matthew knew it was time that he performed his own striker action. He would be going on offensive, which would leave Kitsune to be defensive should she come in later on as a striker. But he would not waste any time. He hoped this would work.

Bringing his right hand in front of his face, the young ronin closed his eyes as he suddenly leapt into the air by focusing a swift burst of ki into his leg muscles. Once he was in the air, he opened his eyes, which had now changed their appearance. They went from normal brown irises to completely black irises with white pupils. The kanji for the phrase "kongou kengo" went around the iris clockwise. This was his Kongougan, a hereditary technique that had been given to him during his training by the mystical tengu. This "adamant eye" secured his gaze so that the intense glare would not obscure his target.

At the apex of the leap, which was coming in from the blinded front side of Sieg, he sommersaulted twice, bringing his legs in as he did, using focused ki to build up the potential energy in his muscles as if he was weighting his legs. He did this at just the right time in order to crest the jump so that it'd have himself aimed towards Sieg instead of over him, the weight from the focused ki changing the trajectory accordingly. The temporary blindness the light would give if successful would hopefully secure this attack, with Sieg's current momentum preventing evasion or upward aerial force exertion. Either way, Matthew planned not to completely oppose the momentum, but redirect it. He looked as if he was about to land on Sieg's shoulders in the air.

Right when Matthew was in normal leg's reach of the shoulders, he shot his legs downward and towards his back (Sieg's front) with all of their pent up weight and force from the sommersault, his geta digging into his shoulders with the impact. This was done right at the moment Sieg's flying force was about to pass under Umbriel's in her escape maneuver, causing a three way clash of force. As such, the sudden massive downward impact from the unnaturally hard Mt. Kurama forest wood of his geta combined with the focused ki and his own muscles would act along with the force of Sieg's flight, redirecting the force so that he would be sent flying at a high speed towards the edge of the facility above the water, which would be quite a massive impact, even for someone that was very well conditioned.

Matthew would bounce off of the striking landing and leap down to the catwalk, the impact from the fall causing a very light dent in the metal against his geta. He crouched deep into the landing, his two hands held in some Buddhist hand gesture as he slowly landed, his Kongougan fading. He knew that it was only a strike, but he hoped it would give Umbriel enough of an edge to stay in the game. With that, he would run off to the sidelines once more.

Sieg should have known this was too easy, he was ofcourse fighting a seraphim a creature who held the closest connection to god himself and appearantly this seraphim was made for battle. Sieg being a believer in god respected this power tremendously. However the thing was, Sieg was a human and as such he was made not exactly beautifal like the angels or seraphim but mearly in gods image. He held infinite potential including the potential to break the human limits...

"Argghhhh...hah!", Suddenly as he initiated the beating with the knees he would be caught by suprise by the flash of light. This would cause Sieg not to let go but to mearly grasp even harder in fear. Perhaps because of her air manipulation her head would still slip from her grasp, but Sieg would catch a bundle of hair in his right hand. All the while he flew forward, suddenly as the girl would fall she would feel her hair go taught like a streched whip between the force of Siegs flight and the jet stream, and her body would be snatched forward along with it...

...out of the jet stream

Siegs eyes stung like a b***h, but still he held the sight of his minds eye and he knew another enemy was coming because his enemy gave away his position by using spiritual energy. Sieg didnt have much time to think about what his opponent was going to do, all Sieg knew was to get him away from the fight and use up his 10 seconds as fast as he could. Sieg would do this like he did most things...

Hitting him as hard as he could.

Sieg wouldnt back down.

No

He would drive forward with the madness induced by the will of the fist. He coudnt change his direction, he coudnt dodge, and blocking would only caused him to be knocked away without getting hurt; giving the girl who was caught by the hair in his right hand time to rest. The sneak attack would be seen clearly by the minds eye even while Siegs eyes were shut closed trying to recover, simply because the opponent used metaphysical energies in the attack. "HA!"

Sieg would push forward faster, closing the distance between him and his opponent faster catching the summersaulting man in close range before he planned to release the attack; during the first summersault. Immediatly with the force of his flight he would throw a left hand overhead punch. This would hit somewhere along the second opponents lowerbody and would kill the momentum gained in his summersault; knocking him right back down towards were he came.

Using the momentum gained in the overhand left Sieg would throw the child shaped opponent down towards the metal plates of the resovoir as hard as he possibly could. As the child would hit the plates they would snap and bend up due to the impact of her small body crashing down. Sieg would continue to follow her as she fell down, still not giving her any room to breath.

His eyes were only just recovering, everything was blurry; but the girl was giving off huge amounts of celestial force - to her minds eye she might as well have had a homing divice on her. Sieg would land on top of her in mount position almost immediatly after she hit the ground.

The little girl would be on her back and Sieg would be on top of her, with his knees just under her tiny underarms. His body positioned above her small chest. He would then begin to rain down punch's as if he had just gotten the upper hand on chuck liddel. He would throw them down at varying angles, battering every part of her child like face with his large fist.

47-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

.:For future reference.

Kichiro is 6'5" with those boots.

The blade on the katana is three feet, with his arms another three feet.

So if you add all that up, one is going to have to suddenly raise legs and everything over ten feet to be tottaly out of batting range.:.

So wind girl had teleported away from Kichiro's attack oh-so long ago. He simply sat back down at the side and watched. The fight seemed to have Sieg going into super blackman again. A chuckle passed over his lips and he shook his head.

Once one gave Seig the grapple, chances are he wasn't letting go.

The fighters had been through more than enough pain to take a few hits, from all the sorts of energy blasts and poundings that Gaia had to offer. They'd still hurt, but pain was not going to stop any of them from finishing their tasks.

Especially Seig who liked the ground and pound like it was his water.

Kitsune blinked, looking over at the newly entered girl from Lu Bu, presumed the alternate, who was jumping up and down feverently cheering on her teammate. She chuckled to herself, grinning. The thought crossed her mind of why she wasn't cheering for Umbriel yet, she seemed like the type who would do so.

Seeing as Matthew found it his time to intervene, she took a step back to allow him room to summon his attack, watching the fighter's battle with awe.

Well, seeing as she was still left to strike and intervene, she took a moment to think. Perhaps the best way to aid Umbriel would be defensively, and she did have a way to assist her. But, she'd wait until Umbriel was absolutely in need of it. Play the card too soon, and it'll wear off too soon.

Growing excited, she cupped her hands around her mouth, to amplify her voice a bit.

"YEAH!! COME ON, UMBRIEL!! KICK THAT PUNKASS ALL THE WAY TO BARTON!!" she yelled, her wide grin displaying the confidence she had in Umbriel.

(( -Sigh- I'd rather not argue with you Kichiro. Can we drop it for the time being? I'm sure if you listen to what I have to say you'll understand the way I'm seeing things. But at another time, please?))

Life wasn't that easy....

Since her escape plans had been thorted and she had been given a fair amount of time to try something new.

In her small form she would further charge up her energies to the palms of her hand and she'd aim them outward after cutting off the wind control for just a moment. Since she knew her opponent wouldn't be able to do much to her in this current position. She secretly thanked Matt for his attempts to help. She did need it after all.

Soon after Matt was delt with Sieg had done the job of throwing her down as hard as he could...While she was still in her child form.

Not such a good idea.....

In her small form and at her current sharpness of awareness..Throwing her with that kind of stength down towards the resovoir would only help her. Since her body was much smaller than her adult form, she held the abilitly to control herself quite abit better. Assuming Sieg was just that strong she'd attempt to use the window he had given her towards better access to the wind of which she was falling so swiftly though..As even if Sieg wasn't strong enough to throw her down standing normally, his forward movement while throwing her at the sametime would act as a booster to send her crashing towards the ground.

With this thought in mind as she fell through the powerful winds she arched her back backwards and held her hands outwards. She'd then spin swiftly through the air gaining the power of massive cold winds that had been brought down by the firece cold temperatures of the winter. Soon after, Sieg would find that his opponent's tiny hands had become gigantic tornados of force that would help her in her efforts to speed down towards the bottom to add more distance between them. Unless he tried to speed up his fall, then he'd be the one caught in her jet stream.

Ether way while she was falling and gathering the winds around her palms she had sent forth a chunk of her energies towards her palms. She timed her own spin correctly and stopped herself so that she'd once again face her opponent by forcefully redirecting the large tornado winds around her wrists towards her front.

From there she'd clap her hands togeather and forced the winds to fuse togeather and rush around her two hands as a single, powerful tornado that moved freely around her wrists ,so that her body wouldn't take a spinning motion, then crumpled up the huge force into a medium sized ball by her spiritual energies, so that the power of the tornado would not be canceled out but forcefully sealed in an unnatural manner by a very thick amount of her celestial force.

From then on she'd just let this plan play out. If he still wanted to go through with his attack of mounting her and attempting to go into that punching sequence she'd take advantage of her hand placement and the large amount of energies that rested in both of her palms. If he so much as touched her after she falled the 'Wind Bomb' that she had rushed in createing would most likely expload in an instant. Though depending when in time he attempted to stop her would determine to what exstent the damage would be gained in being hit by it.

However if everything went according to plan this explosion wouldn't be so sweet to his body ,like the rest of her attacks had been, ether. With the amount of spiritual fuel placed into the bomb, which had been saved up from all the times her energy attacks has missed their chances to be released, the blast would be more then enough to not only further the damage to the metal plates she had been forced the land on, but also would ensure massive dammage to his ribcage and spine like he had never suffered before.

She figured doing something nice and useing a bomb that would only harm a normal human alittle bit wouldn't be enough for this guy and since she wasn't even sure if the bomb it's self would be enough she wasn't done....This was just part of the plan.

And if this part of the plan worked out just as it was planned out her only word to him for the very moment he'd feel the power of the winds forcefully pushing him back and canceling out the momentium behind him like a bomb breaking through a brick wall, which was where the back damage would come from, would be the word, " Boom."

((Edit: As long as this post already is I've done some minor editings to it. If any explaination need be done about the post please PM me about it. It seems like this whole fight involves my inability to word things correctly or to where people can understand lately.))

Kichiro wondered where Peppa was, and began to look through the crowd for the Jedi. Though he kept glancing back to look at the fight. It seemed kinda akward for Seig to be fighting such a little girl.

But it was Gaia.

The strike to Matthew's lower back combined with his sommersault would only lighten the hit so that it wouldn't hurt like a mother. It'd send him down, heading for the water at a diagonal towards his original direction. The intended ki would be pushed against the water as he collided with the water's surface at an angle, causing him to skid across the water due to the force of Sieg's hit, slapping his arms against the inner wall of the facility as he was pressed back against it. Luckily, the force had sent him nearer to the top of the wall. He hastily grabbed for the edge as the force keeping him against the wall faded, catching it barely as he pulled himself up.

Matthew leaned back, his left eye wincing a bit as he rubbed his back. That was a hell of a punch. So that was what Umbriel was up against out there, eh? He hoped that she would be able to hold out for as long as she could. He simply wanted to see the outcome of the fight, and hoped that Umbriel would give it her best, win or lose. That was their objective in the tournament.

Like the great Fa-Bo Said

NOPE!

She had fallen into Siegs plans. Sieg usually didnt plan things out during a fight, he simply let his skill and technique flow out naturally based on what the opponent did or didnt do but Sieg noticed throughout this whole fight that she wanted to stay away from Sieg.

She was running

And for too long. Sieg would in that moment clarity reached by Sieg being blind for a brief moment, generate a plan of making it seem like he was trying to hold on to her and then throw her violently which would give her the belief that she was going to have time to do something when in fact Sieg was waiting for to get comfertable so and for her to try something because he noticed also that she had to charge her attacks.

Sieg had followed the girl downward in a persuit that would put him on top of her, allowing her to hit the ground first but he planned to accelerate immediatly when he felt metaphysical events through his minds eye and slug her during her charge phase with a huge punch targeted at the tan tein.

In spiritualism, this was the place from where the spiritual energy flowed into the physical body for use. Even in celestial beings, the use of spiritual energy could be cut off by violently striking the tan tein which was located af few inch's beneath the navel. Sieg being a spiritualist himself had a clear understanding of this.

Immediatly as her arms began to extend and Sieg felt the spiritual energy he would accelerate in his downwards path as fast as he could with his tan tein only oustreched 20% in the downwards motion; which was fast enough. His muscular form would blur as he would close the distance once again as they both moved downwards towards the ground.

BOOOOOOM!

In that instance of acceleration, He would throw and overhead right directly at the area beneath the girls navel. Since her form was so small the intense impact of the strike would not only disrupt her charge of energy but also disrupt several of her bodily functions. She would be severly bruised internally, which would cause her insides to rupture...

As she hit the ground, she would be coughing blood.

54Just Three Words

"Go Sieg!"

Minute would shout, pumping her arms into the air, the cyborg grinned wide, rotating her shoulder blades in place once her arms came back to her sides, she was loving this, Sieg was a ground-n-pound kinda guy from the looks of it, and actually had ment what he said about the whole. "I get s**t done." 'Cause he sure was.

Hooking her fingers into the loops of her pants, Minute's eyes would scan over the others who'd come to watch, stopping on each head to register who was who, and then back onto the fight.

"Kick a**!"

55Seventh Normal

(( I doubt that was even slightly your plan all along.))

Suddenly a bright light flashed in her head and the next thing she knew was that she was chokeing. Umbriel's eyes went wide and tears rushed from her eye sockets. She swore she saw something red just shoot out of no where...and she felt warmth slideing down her lips. She couldn't even feel her lower half anymore. Her head was still bugged out from that smack to the head from earlier and yet she felt like she should be worried.

She remembered seeing her opponent rush at her while she was charging up for the wind bomb but after that it was just a number of fragmented images that she couldn't even begin to peice togeather.

A loud ring echoed through her ears as if something had exploaded and her hands felt burned.

Dispite his attempts to interrupt the charge, he had only managed to catch her right when she was attempting to contain the energy and winds for the blast...Though it was weaker, and possibly didn't have much of the effect she wanted, if at all, it exploaded in his face and due to the lack of control she had managed to gain it had singed her hands and wrists pretty bad.

Umbriel's head was swimming she was struggling to get a grip but it wasn't comming. All she was planning to take was the shock of being thrown at the ground so she didn't make any preparations to cushion the fall with anything. Punching her merely made it so that not only would her lower half be severely damaged, but so would the rest of her body the moment it hit the ground.

Her eyes weren't crimson anymore, they were dark grey and swiftly loosing depth. Since she wasn't as human as the guy might have wanted her to be she'd live just fine...For her a full recovery was possible..but she wasn't going to be moving much afterwards or at least not unless she tapped into her unregistered powers after the fight match with her team.

However her thoughts weren't even on that. She was still struggling to get a grip and find some strength somewhere inside the weakened shell she had. More tears came as she slowly started to realize what was going on through blurry eyes. She must have been the discrace to see back in heaven. Since her insides were, though not ruptured, but terribly brused the idea of her standing up before she'd be cought by another attack was unlikely. If she was built more for defensive purpouses that might have been possible...but those abilitlies had been sealed away.

If there was just someway for her to figure out what to do she might beable to continue but..even to her this fight was starting to look very much over. Maybe even in Gaia little girls weren't exsactly that powerful at all...

56Sieg ecstuffuan

OOC: Oh yeah it was. Its common for mixed martial artist to notice that there opponents are running away from them and when they do, they strike down the opponent with all they have because running usually means your hurt. Sieg just changed this a bit, in a bout with metaphysics she could probrably outdo Sieg; and Sieg knew that giving her the hopes of an opening for a metaphysical attack would make her comfertable under false pretenses.

but that was really meaningles in me telling you wasnt it. smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif

Sieg was blown back by her somewhat weaker attack, but his left hand was up and he was guarding his face so the damage wasnt anything worse than the punch's that he recieved everyday in the practice room by powerful fighters. Sieg would charge his tan tein again to 30%, as he would do so he would continue to watch his opponent; waiting for to recover or whatever...

A voice would seemingly come out of nowhere, Kitsune probably had not noticed the man standing there this whole time wiht the feverish battle between Sieg and Umbriel. For some odd reason the Jedi seemed to have payed of little attention to the match, visabley anyways. His minds eyes tracked it a few seconds yet he was primarily looking up and down Kitsune. She was supposed to be his opponent.

Why explain all of this? Because simply put, when Kitsune would turn to talk to Peppa-it would appear he was checking her out.

I'd love to see what you think is bad if Sieg is a punk a**.

Some things can be taken in so many ways, this was one of those things people could get charged with sexual harasssment for. The true humor lied in how Peppa was oblviious to this action. He was simply assessing his opponent before he would introduce himself, the Jedi wasn't the kind to go "Oh hey you kitsune?! DOY!!!! FIGHT!!!".

As a 'Mortal Kombat' game would protray fights anyways.

WIth a quick bow his arm would come across his abs while his left hand went straight down. A quick bow would show his respects to the lady before he would simply say who he was. It'd be fair for him to say after knowing who she would be.

Peppa G. Clause, you would be Kitsune I presume. How are you doing today?

After the first words, it'd seem like he really was hitting on her.

Matthew heard the comments shouted out by Kitsune and sighed a little. He wanted to keep the honorable aspect alive in the match, but ever since the Lu Bu's alternate started her cheering, it seemed to lose the friendliness. Kitsune's natural competetiveness as a fox demon would rub off of that, and naturally, a resident of Demon World would toss those words out into the open. He just hoped she'd be a bit more sporting when talking to her opponent, who just so happened to be a Jedi.

If she had the energy she might have attempted to go adult, since in transforming..In order for her body to mature some parts of the body would have to heal automatically...but..even if her spiritual energies weren't cut off..she wouldn't have had the energy.

She breath hard once she had managed to weakly stand to her feet. She had coughted up blood several more times in afew failed attempts but she was finally standing.

Her head was buzzing still and she was having trouble seeing straight. It was funny..she just remembered...dispite being a luna seraph she never took hits as well as her other brethern did.

"....." With strain she'd lift her right hand and held it as high as she could dispite her pain. She was done. This just wasn't a fight she was prepared for. Plus if Kitsune and Matt did well this fight wouldn't matter. Or at least not for the team.

As she held up her hand she looked down and closed her eyes. She'd bite her lip slightly hopeing she did what was right in throwing the fight.

He dropped back down into seiza again and folded his arms, looking at Umbriel with sad eyes. Poor girl...he felt it was his fault that she wasn't as prepared for hand-to-hand combat. She was doing her best, anyway. whatever the outcome, he'd feel at peace that she gave it her all.

He patted his thigh with his right hand before promptly raising back up, a calm, yet somewhat sad smile on his face as he stepped over to the fallen seraph, his geta clacking as he stepped. He knelt down to her, even though he felt she was about to be helped up, looking at her.

"It's alright, Umbriel," he said, "Have no regrets. You fought with what you could against an honorable opponent. There is no shame in that" He looked up to Seig and nodded to him, his expression unchanging before standing up. He'd help Umbriel back over if she needed.

After everything had been said and done, and Sieg would move to let the others have their turn, he'd be greeted by Minute in mid-pounce, a bright smile on her face that-if he'd let her- would end with her arms around his neck, and cheek nuzzeled against his chest. "Good job out there. You did great." She'd then let go, step back, and begin jumping up and down. "You did a great job too lady!"

Calm down.

Jumping would stop, and Minute would go back into watching what went on.

"Umbriel." She'd reply simply as she staared back into his eyes with a look that had no regrets what so ever. At least she managed to have fun somewhere in that fight.

Once the man let go of her hand and she had noticed it had healed to some extent she'd smile towards him in thanks.

She'd then look up towards Matt and allowed him to help her back up to where she needed to be. She wouldn't be able to walk on her own after that.

Matthew would take Umbriel's arm around his shoulder and help support her weight under it as he walked back, heading to the sidelines. He hoped that Umbriel would not take this loss badly. She would now see how far she still had to go, and he knew that she would get there in the end. He set her down somewhere safe along the sidelines of the facility. It would be obvious what the result of the match was.

He then turned to Kitsune, who he knew also had something to prove. This would be her moment now, against another powerful yet honorable opponent. He nodded to her, giving her the signal to step up, but not begin until the judge called it.

Kitsune's expression softened a bit, with no ill nature towards her presumed opponent. "Yeah, I'm Kitsune. I'm fine, just chillin."

Truth be told, she was anxious. As she watched her team captain tow Umbriel off the feild, she let out a soft sigh. Umbriel played well, but now it was time to earn both the check and the mate.

Seeing as she was being summoned by both her team captain and her opponent, she stepped up onto the relatively small tiled battlefield. She'd have to be careful with this one, such a small playing feild would mean having to be a bit more contained in her movements if she didn't want to force herself into a ring-out.

"And yourself, Pepper?" she asked, with a slight chuckle as she stepped up. What ningen parents in their right minds would name their child that? Huh, kids of the ningenkai these days were utterly obsessed with being 'gangsta'.

Not that she herself didn't define today's definition of sexy, being able to change her shape had it's appeals, but her real body was even just as comparable. Supermodels would be blown away. Kitsune didn't mean to be cocky, but 'The Vixen' was an understated nickname.

Sieg would lay a hand on her tan tein, which was the same place he had so recently punched. He would then begin to make a spiritual blueprint of her physical and spiritual characteristics, because she wasnt human Sieg would have to go about doing this differently from how he would usually. Usually he could lay his hands on any person and begin to accelerate and aid there natural healing abilities and help direct there own spiritual energy to do the same. Also Sieg made a blue print of the soul, he began to analyze her tan tein...whom she seemed to actually have multiple...though there was some kind of seal blocking them...Sieg didnt understand this, so he would mearly ignore it. Otherwise her miridian structure was so much more complex than a typical humans though she seemed to possess the same kind of 7 chakra points. All of which were close enough so that Sieg could synchronise his healing technique with her alien physiology. He would close his eyes as he did this, focusing along with matthew.

Umbriel saw them both focusing and supposed that it would be good for her to focus as well. Though at this point she was impressed...Humans knew alot more about spiritualism then she had realized...however this had to be so in the world they lived in.

Demons and spirits were far more common in this relm then the others that God himself had created. If they did not know well enough about thim survival would be beyond hard.

As this continued on Umbriel closed her eyes and breathed. She'd let what they did do it's work in healing her and hoped to feel her power come flowing back into her once again.

Seeing the methods that Sieg was using, it was striking him as oddly familiar. The method of spirituality he was using reminded him of Chi Kung, which he had read about in his studies. He had his own ways of gathering physical ki from the world aside from using that within his own body, or even using his spirit energy, which came from his syncretism. Perhaps using a similar method to Sieg's would correspond correctly enough to help speed regeneration.

As such, he would raise his hands over Umbriel slowly before cycling them once very slowly around his abdominal area, drawing the ki of his surroundings in towards him by using his own ki and concentration. This had to be followed by precise, slow breathing, in through his nose and out through his mouth. This surrounding ki of creation, or hadou as he had learned, would come from his abdomen and into his palms as he stopped, holding them lightly over Umbriel. By using ki/chi, his healing efforts would be able to act better with Siegs.

But enough of the sidelines. He would not make it showy, or else it might distract away from the next fight.

77Sieg ecstuffuan

"Haaauuuu", Sieg would exhale heavily as he entered a slight meditative state oustreching his own tan tein to allow the sea of chi to flood at its full potential into his circulation of light. His left thumb and index finger would be pressed together in order to connect the miridians located in this area to form a more complete flow, sense the energy in the circulation of light was being focused through his right arm. He would apply pressure onto her lower abdomen with his right hand spreading his fingers as he would oustrech her own tan tein to its full potential while adding his own energy to her 'spiritual sea'.

This energy would be directed to spread throughout her body and the combination of both Siegs and matthews energy would be tremendous. Not only was her physical healing process's increasing exponentially in speed but the the spiritual energy that was not used to assist the speed and healing ability of her own body would be produced to make extra nutrience and minerals in order to further energize her body. Sieg and matthews energies would work together and this combined with the girls advance spiritual structure.

She would visibly heal all of her wounds, both physical and spiritual, within seconds. Within moments she would be at 100%

Sorry, gave up refreshing after a while.

You would be pronouncing it wrong Ma'am. It would be Pe-Pay.

Peppa was always annoyed when People made fun of his name. His verizan family had chosen it to be his name, he figured it was good enough for him. In the end, what was really in a name? It was a calling card that was all, a man was defined by his actions not a name. Music was defined by their sound not by the titles. Titles could effect a view yet nonetheless the music remained.

Shrugging this off, he would followed hte lady on to the tile field. His senses perking up while he pretty much just charged himself up. Allowing a relaxating sort of state take over Peppa. Immediatly Peppa's expressions would seem calmer, his voice smoother. He was practicing Jedi relaxtion techniques ofcourse.

A jedi was trained to be as calm with his emotions, to not disrupt the will of the force. To hear it's will and allow it's being to flow through and around you with as little resistance as possible. A man with no emotion would be absolutley perfect for the jedi way. If he had a good heart for justice, whcih in itself was a contradiction. For a heart implies emotion. So thus, there was no ultimate Jedi.

I'm glad to hear that, as for myself I would be doing fantastic for somone who's been having as rough days as I have had. Wifes dieng and all. I have a duty however, a duty to fight for my friends.

It was safe to assume that the Jedi had ignored the vixens appearance. He cared not what she looked like, was just going to make punching her a little more funny in a way. Tho' somehow he expected this lady to be using something much more then weapons. He could feel it stiring in the force.

Well, if you would like to begin then make a stance.

Peppa would simply stretch before groping his right hand for his lightsabre. The left hand which was gauntlet adorned would hang to the side. The lightsabre held lightly within his hands would remain off while he allowed the force to flow through him. Immediatly by becoming 'one with the force' his....being would be reflected through the area aroudn him. The floor would seem to be just as much as Peppa as Peppa himself.

Mental, physical, and spiritual body under control. The Jedi was ready for battle. He told himself he probably should strike a stance yet he figured he'd strike one in conformity to his opponents actions.

Because of this team work on attempting to heal her body to it's 100% it did not take long for Umbriel to be fully healed of her internal wounds and outside pains. Soon it was as if she hadn't fought at all.

Then again there may have been just that much more energy coursing through out her body due to their efforts. She'd find out the next time she used one of her techniques.

Umbriel slowly opened her eyes and glanced about for a second. Due to being completely energized by the two her skin gave off a radiant and slightly eerie glow. For a moment it wasn't hard at all to believe that this child before them was really a type of angel.

Her dark grey orbs flared to crimson once again, however she'd close them and returned them to their dark grey color.

She was not about to fight so there was no need to open up her energies unless something of importance occured with in the fight.

When all was said and done she'd smile towards her team leader and Sieg," Thank you." She'd say simply. A sweet tone. That was new comming from Umbriel..Or at least to the people around her's ears anyway.

A figure of a young beautiful looking woman had made her way towards where the fight had just taken place, for now it seemed the fights were on hold. Would there be another fight here soon, hopefully so as she wanted to see some action. The woman had a few fight areas to visit to give her support to the fighters that were fighting there, she would make her way around to them in time.

Her soft earthern eyes would capture some people that she knew in her sights from behind the shades, it was Sieg and Peppa. She would apporach them with a steady pace, her footsteps were light and silent upon the ground beneath. Her everymove was filled with grace and balance, her hips would sway slightly from side to side. Getting closer she would speak out so Sieg and the rest could hear her.

"Looks like I missed some action."

She could tell this as she sensed it within the air around her, there had been a good clash of fighters here already. Once she was about five foot away she would come to a stop, her earthern eyes took in all before them as she stood there with her hands down by her toned thighs. Her slim curved figure stood at 5ft6, her long brown hair was neatly tied up with a few free strands hanging freely down the side of her slightly tanned beautiful soft gentle face. She had perfect structure to her face, the looks body and beauty of a true goddess could be seen. She was dressed in a tight fitting white shirt that showed her curves and had a few buttons undone at the top revealing her perfect clevage it looked as though her large breasts could pop out to say 'hi' at any minute but no they would not as they were safe;y in her shirt, she had on a black velvet choker around her neck which had a silver heart in it's center. A very short black skirt with black thigh high boots that had straps and buckles going all the way up the boot, a pair of black fingerless fighting gloves and finally she had on a pair of black shades that sat on the bridge of her nose.

The people who were out in the stands were still raving about Siegs fight while checking out the music on his I-pod and playing it loudly in the background. Sieg didnt pay them much attention, he was at this point mostly focused on healing the angel beside him. "Oh it was no problem, I just wanted to speak to you as soon as possible. So your an angel...what kind, charubin?", Sieg asked but then suddenly something would happen. Sieg hadnt known it yet but he was about to witness the advent of a angel of the material plane.

Everything would go quiet

Everything, the music, the people talking...Maybe occasionally a whisper but...the relative quietness would summon Siegs attention first to peppa and the girls fight; maybe something big had just happened. Sieg currently was metaphysically blinded as he gave his tan tein a rest, but it seemed that they were just getting started. Then he looked over to the crowd.

They parted like the red sea and the creature who walked the freshly made path walked it as if a crowd of people prodominatly men, were supposed to part for her. Hell as soon as Sieg saw who it was, Sieg completly understood, he would part for her too. They all moved as if she were a giant firecracker, when in a way She was. They were put in awe, and Sieg had to wonder if she was used to that gawk that she probrably got everywhere. She walked with grace and balance, but the combination of the sway of her hips and her looks were just...

Damn

She spoke, "Hi"

too simple, Sieg thought.

It didnt do well to match her complex beauty...

He would respond smoothly,"Hey lenne, I meant, Leanne...or...

well...

...

So what are you doin here, visitin' little ol' me."

As the healing finished, Matthew looked on at Sieg and Umbriel as they spoke with one another. Sieg seemed to be rather interested in Umbriel's existance...and moreso fascinated with angels themselves. He, in fact, was quite closely related to a particular angel...his superior. He wondered if he would show up later on to watch the fights. If he was going to, he would have to hurry. He was awfully late. Unless he was already lurking about...

But watching Sieg and Umbriel made him think. He smiled and put his hand to his chin, thinking for a moment. Perhaps what he was considering earlier might not be a bad idea. He'd just have to mention it to Sieg after their teams were dont fighting.

Then the quietness came.

Matthew turned his head to the sight Sieg had already looked upon and recognized. He was a calm one, even for a human...but thanks to the ways of one of his teachers in the past, young Matthew had developed a weakness for women.

And this woman was quite one for his weakness. At the moment, the calm that he had built up kept him from completely turning red, but after taking a glance of the woman, he turned his head to the front from where he was sitting in seiza, a blush coming to his face in spite of the lack of any expression changing. The woman looked familiar. He could have sworn he had seen her in the roster of teams. Was she a team leader? Her figure was definately that of a fighter. The idea of a woman with such strength seemed to have an effect on the young ronin. Hopefully his blushing would go unnoticed, for he needed to be much more calm for Kitsune's fight.

83Lenne Misao

She was amazed of how quiet the crowd had grown, looking at Sieg through those dark shades she would smile softly to him. Her eyes would drift over his form as she stood there, returning back to his face she would speak in her soft smooth silky tone to him.

"Hello Sieg... it's Lenne, though changed quite abit. Leanne is watching her team mate battle at Barton center at the moment, getting prepared for her fight. I'm here to visit some of the people I know best to give them my support...plus I wanted to see your fine looking a**..."

She let out a small soft laugh as she laughed her right hand would come up in a graceful motion and remove the glasses from her face so that he could see her soft gentle earthern eyes that would be gazing at him as a soft warm smile appeared upon those silky lips of hers, bringing the glasses down she would tuck the into the side of her skirt before her hands moved slowly down her thigh to rest upon it lightly. Lenne had noticed the other man and given him a soft smile, she swore she saw a blush before he turned away. Maybe she would get to speak to him, find out who he was.

Kitsune smirked, her hands resting on her wide hips as she finished her polite conversing with him. "Wife's dying, huh? Sorry for your pain, but seeing as we both have things of utter importance to fight for, I see we have at least a shred of alikeness," she said.

"My son's freedom is depending on me, I won't give up this match," Kitsune swore confidently, her obsidian black eyes serious and narrow.

Still among the corners of the feild, she took one step forward.

"Hitotsu, the image of the siren, that allures men to distraction."

She took another step forward, her left leg crossing over her right, almost in a ballet-like stance, as if ready for a plié.

"Futatsu, the dance that summons the will of the elements."

Her third step followed, her right foot sweeping around her left, standing on her right foot en pointe, her left leg rising behind her, extending her left arm out.

"Mittsu, the strength of heart that never decays, striving for hope."

Bending forward gracefully, her left hand going on the tiled ground palm down, she'd lifted herself into a one-armed handstand, as her elbow gave a slight bend, before strongly pushing up, forcing Kitsune into the air, flipping over with utmost acrobility, landing elegantly on her feet, beginning in the ballet-like third position, her right heel touching the toes of her left foot, as it slowly spread out into a balanced ready position, her hands in a guarded position up by her neck, ready to defend an attack to the head or middle, which did seem a bit futile against such a sabre.

"Kitsune, the Vixen."

She let out a small chuckle, such force grew around him. That grin returned on her previously serious face, he'd have to learn to conceal his energy pattern or this was going to be all too easy. Let her at least have some fun, ne?

"Well, as in most of the human cultures say, 'Ladies first', right?" she asked with a laugh, as she immidiately set in. This fight would not be won easily if she came in contact with that sabre. It had an immense heat around it, and a burn or like handicap was not something she desired.

Switching her weight from her right to her left, she thrust her right hand forward, immidiately pulling back to jump up high, her left knee high in the air while leaving her right straight, landing back en pointe on her toes.

Rabbit.

Her hands were brought to her chest in a praying position, standing on her toes, as she melded back into her extended bow on her right foot, throwing her right arm forward again, continuing with her jump as she'd done but a moment ago.

Sheep, rabbit.

Her movements were fast and fluid as she finished her dance, putting her hands in the praying form back at her chest, before going into the stride in her right foot, extending it out.

Sheep.

But as her arm followed out, her wrist seemed to be the source of a thick mist, pouring out of nowhere like smoke, thickly covering the feild, as well as the bystanders.

"You'll have to be quick, bud. Don't let me catch you, or it'll be the death of you..." she thought. For a Jedi, most had telepathic powers. "Heh, that lightsabre of yours works just like a beacon in a lighthouse, allowing the ship to find port... perhaps you'd like to take a moment to become more conspicuous, or this'll be over very quickly... he heh..."

Umbriel watched the two. It seemed her talk with Sieg would truely have to wait. Especially since this woman seemed to have some strange hold on the opposite sex's brain. Apparently the primitive instincts that the humans often attempted to break away from were still very present and strong.

Umbriel kind of smiled at this...At least humans had no problem following at least one of God's commandments...Though then again she wasn't sure if this was a good thing for her teamleader's place.

In attempts to bring his attention back towards the fight, Umbriel gently nudged her team leader and aimed her pointer finger in the direction of the fight. Someone needed to watch carefully.

She didn't want Kitsune to end up like her and she was sure Matt didn't want that for her ether.

Lenne Misao Wrote:

(Edited)

Siegs mouth was slightly open and for a split second he had that facial expression that made you want to pull out a camera and snap as quickly as possible. Some called it 'the dear caught in the head lights' expression and some just sayed 'abwuh?'. Sieg quickly regained his cool and relaxed composure. Lenne just knew how to pull it off, her curvacious body mixed with her being as horndoggish as Sieg was..."Oh really, Miss Lenne. Well, I woudnt want to keep you waiting for my fine sexy a**. So Im going to go run and get some drinks from my car right quick, you want something?"

87Lenne Misao

Lenne had noticed the other woman and would turn quickly to give her a polite friendly smile, a gentle look graced her face. She looked quickly to the captain of the other team, hopefully the woman could pull him out of it. Turning back to Sieg she caught the look on his face and would smile some, she had not meaned to be such a distraction. After a moment he seemed to regain his cool and relaxed composure once more, Lenne sensed another fight about to start and would reply to what Sieg had said.

"Thats good to know, waiting at times can be such a burden. Yes please if thats ok, anything is fine with me."

Matthew heard the remarks, whcih sort of made his blush increase, his eyes dotted. He scratched the bridge of his nose for a moment. She seemes to be quite...open, he thought. Of course, she seemed to have an interest in Sieg. This brought a bit of a smile to his face, as if he was about to let out a small, whole hearted laugh. It was a rather amusing show. He would wonder if the judges minded all of this for a brief moment before thinking once more about how out-of-the-blue all this was.

Matthew was not so...well...innocent as some, but he was shy about those things. Sieg didn't seem to have a problem, even after the frozen expression he had on his face. If Matthew was in a less calm situation, like at the Haven or the Oni back in the commerce lands, he'd probably be the same way. He continued to scratch the bridge of his nose as he watched Kitsune start, amazed that she had developed such abilities. This would be quite a surprising round.

Sieg suddenly flew off into the air from his sitting position, rushing to his car to get the refreshments for an obvious reason. Sieg had 6 packs of red-bull, muscle milk, and green tea in a can; which was a strange combination but seeing as how all the people he would share them with would be fighters; it would make sense.

Sieg would arrive back on the seen, landing back in his same spot. He would set the 3 sets of 6 packs in front of him and then say;"Help yourself", he sat back in his positon and broke himself off a pack of muscle milk. "So matthew, what did she mean by this having to do with her sons freedom?"

90Tenkai Matsumoto

Matthew turned to Sieg with a confused look on his face. "I don't know..." he said. It was the first time he had heard her mention that. He looked back at Kitsune and thought deeply...remembering how different she had been acting lately. The thing he had sensed her hiding. It must have had something to do with her children.

"Damn you, Kitsune," he thought, "Why didn't you tell me more when I asked you?" Earlier in their training she had been reluctant to tell him about the pregnancy...which was quickly addressed to. Once he had helped her deliver, the status of her children just disappeared from his mind as he focused his mind on his training. What could have happened that he didn't know about? And what did it have to do with Kitsune's strange determination?

No matter. If it would be her driving force for doing well in this fight, then that was fine. If she let her emotions get the better of her, however, then that wouldn't be good at all.

91Just Three Words

"This'll be interesting." Minute had found her way into the thick of the tree's, lieing on a branch with one foot hooked on, and one left to dangle, her eyes would be covered with goggles. Although she was close enough to see the wrinkles on each fighters clothing, she'd used the goggles for her...own pleasure.

"Giggity..Gi-"

Oh stop it..

"No fuun.." And so, she'd continue on watching, along with several other children hanging from the tree, and underneath it.

92Lenne Misao

Lenne watched as Sieg flew off, interesting she had not really seen him fly. Mind you alot had changed for her, she was no longer what she used to be but now was something...quite different. While Sieg had gone to get drinks Lenne would look around, she would look to the girl who was about to fight. Her eyes would take in every detail, every move. The next fight looked like it could be a rather interesting one, though she did not know if she would be able to see all of it. Her eyes looked to the other woman and then down to the team leader, she would give him a look over and smile before her gaze began to move and look about again.

Sieg would then be back landing in the same position as he was in before he had gone to get the drinks, after hearing him she would look down at the drinks and get herself a red bull. Though that could be bad, might give her more energy than what she already had. Smiling she opened the can and carefully sat down near Sieg, she would make sure to be careful as she had on a very short skirt with ....some sort of underwear.....underneath, she would cross her legs and sit comfortable and relaxed.

"Thankyou Sieg."

Lifting the can up to her silky lips, her lips would part slightly letting the red bull in her mouth and slide down her throat smoothly. She would take another sip then lower the can, licking her lips slowly afterwards to get off any red bull which remained upon those lucious lips of hers.

93Tenkai Matsumoto

From the corner of his eye, Matthew would notice the glance shot at him and the smile as well. This only caused some further blushing from the young ronin. He did not get too good of a look at her, but he could tell she was rather attractive. Doing any more looking would be rather rude of him. Besides...he didn't want to miss the fight, nor would he want to interrupt Sieg's company.

Matthew then remembered her face from somewhere. She must have been one of the leaders of the fighting teams in this year's tournament. However...something was different between the visual picture of the woman he was thinking of and the woman a few feet away from him. He wasn't able to pinpoint any major differences, though. Then he remembered the name foibling Sieg was having before, and what the woman said. This woman was Lenne...but the team leader he remembered was Leanne. Curiouser and curiouser...

94Nora Thorsen

A blonde boy, looking about 16-17 years of age had appeared behind Matthew and Seig.

"Chronos," he said behind them.

He was the only one there, having been the only one to watch this fight, urging his brother, Eros, and his identical twin sisters, Circe and Callisto, behind at the hotel.

His blue eyes were sincere, as he made a polite bow. "Matthew, I had sought you to converse about this in a more private manner, but it seems that my initial intention had come to dissarray due to our unability to meet. I am Helios," he introduced himself.

"I apologize for any trouble my mother has caused, but she is the only one who can relieve her son, my brother, Chronos, from his captivity," he explained.

Helios looked down at the ground, his expression seemed a bit hurt, lost. "My brother's powers are far too strong to control, and King Yamma has taken note of it," he stated, "He's been quarantined, and will be forced to return to demon world if Mother can't prove her strength to him, the ability to control herself as well as her son. With Chronos' potential threat, they may have to reinstall the Kakai barrier..."

95Sieg ecstuffuan

"I woudnt worry about it. Anybody who can stand toe to toe with peppa has proven there strength.", Sieg would say simply before taking another swig of muscle milk.

96Valentine Hoskuo

(( Helios looks like a chick, and thanks Sieg now I want muscle milk.))

Valentine shivered as he stood on the side lines for Team Lu Bu, mostly because he was dumb enough to not wear a shirt nor jacket as he went out. You'd wonder why he wouldn't just keep himself warm seeing as how he has control over heat, but no matter it didn't seem to stop him from complaining. " Sieg, you better not lose or it's your a**. Same for the rest of ya." He had his normal smlie on his face. He easily recognized Kitsune and Matthew, but not so much the last one. He could easily remember Matthew because he was friends of Yusuke and Kitsune because he had talked to her. He'd seen the last one, but knew nothing about her. His eyes soon fell over to Lenne as his eyes grew wide. He'd sneak up from behind her as her lips touched the can and he would take his index fingers and poke both her sides at the same time with a " Boo!".

"And we certianly won't let Kitsune down when she needs us most...Dispite what little detail we know." Umbriel replied thoughtfully. The little girl would then look up at Matt and blink as she saw him blushing. It seemed that woman from earlier had really made an impression on him...Perhaps it would be best if she kept a close eye on Kitsune and Peppa's fight.

She'd then slowly look in the direction of Helios. That was strange. She didn't know that Kitsune even had children...However at the time of Kitsune's pregancy she was busy trying not to be torn appart by a wind elemental to gain her powers.

Lenne had sensed Val on the side lines and listened as he talked to Sieg, once he had finished talking Lenne had sensed him start to move towards her. A sly grin now appeared on her lips, just as he got close Lenne turned her head and looked up at him.

((Okay...enough of the OOC on that part, Claus and Kitsune >>...Hell, I'm not even sure if this on-the-side RPing is allowed.))

Matthew almost stumbled back as this boy before him, Helios, spoke. Mother? He was one of the children? How on Earth did he grow up so fast.

"You're one of her children?" he asked with surprise. He had been the one to deliver them...yet of course he wouldn't recognize him so quickly. He guessed it would be best just to accept this, since the boy would go on with his story.

So that was what Kitsune was hiding. She should have spoke to him in the first place. He would have done what he could to take care of it. King Yemma was quite hard to persuade, however, for he remembered the trouble Yusuke had when he was being sent back to Makai. Poor Kitsune...no wonder she was driven. But surely someone as wise as King Yemma wouldn't do something so abrupt, especially when there were people like Matthew, Yusuke, Sieg and others around, would he?

Still...if she is to prove her ability to control her son, a fight with a Jedi to prove her worth would be a sight to see. Win or lose, he knew Kitsune's strength would shine enough for her personal mission to be accomplished. He would assist her in any way that was possible.

110-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

.: On the side RPing is plenty fine. This is an RPing event. ^_^

Though there is a thread for the OOC.:.

Kichiro blinked and the fight was over, apparently Seig had won with the girl throwing in the towl.

She relied on powers too much, he decided. Seig had only done some 'metaphysical' attacks after the girl had tried a bomb of some spirit sorts. It was too much really, and she attempted to dodge or evade too much. Not enough rolling with the punches, seemed as if she was more prepared for a dance than a fight.

Oh well.

Maybe the next one will present Peppa... with a challange.

111Lenne Misao

Being lowered back down she smiled softly, standing she turned to face Val. The soft smile would soon change to a smirk as she looked at him with slightly narrowed eyes, her hand that had been keeping her skirt down would fall to her side.

"Is that what you think? Sleep with one eye open Val..you never know what might happen.."

Lenne had said this in a playfull tone to him, still looking at him with the smirk upon her face. She sensed Kichiro about, he seemed to just be there relaxing and checking on the fights.

112Ebag

+++A man in crimson and black clothing could be seen walking throughout the crowd. His eyes and hair stood out the most as he merely walked through the crowd themselves. His eyes and hair were of similar colors only different shades of green. His eyes more of an emerald and his hair more vibrant. A top of that was the crimson colored pimp hat as he'd merely watch the going ons that were about. He stood on the very edge of the crowd and would stay there.

113Tenkai Matsumoto

Matthew turned a head to Kichiro and nodded before looking on at the fight with Kitsune. He remembered the fight between Sieg and Umbriel well...though he felt it went as good as it was meant to be. He was proud of Umbriel all the same. Hopefully she learned from the experience, and would use what she learned to benefit the Amatsu. Sieg seemed to have an interest in her origins as well.

But now it was Kitsune's turn to fight for her own purpose. As much as he hated to learn of it only so soon, he still supported her.

"I have a feeling Kitsune will surprise all of us today," he said, watching her dance-like martial arts.

((Did everyone forget that with my first initiation of the fight, I'd shrouded the whole place in thick mist? smilies/icon_stare.gif ))

116-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

Kichiro, use to the environment of the shinobi, typical nights and dark places where sight was useless, hardly noticed the mist as a distraction from the fight. The vibrations, the sounds of hearts beating, the smell of the people he cared to observe all sent clear images far beyond visual sight. He could tell an individual in a crowd's sound of walking, or the way they breathed, or any number of things.

Eyesight was merely an extra bonus when he had it.

Kichiro looked towards the fight, wondering what sort of magic user this was. It seemed, with the mist, that it was another power user. He sure hoped that Mathew used more skill then that. The paranormal allowed children to be Gods, the skilled used the tools of the mortal to be powerful. At least, that's how he saw it.

Yawning, Kichiro would notice a few others around about that were familiar.

Lenne, the cause of his first death.

Mathew, partner in opposing injustice in Commerce and opposing team captain.

Valentine, someone he had met along the lines of Lu Bu and some other place he was sure.

Oh, and perhaps one more?

Kichiro closed his eyes to block out the distraction, and attempted to search through his memories and those signs of the others in the crowd.

Post 1

Past tense love, she IS dead.

The Jedi could feel his sorroundings probably better then the lady. For in a small part, he was the sorroundings in some small way. The force extended it's grip with everything, save for like a few small things, so you could imagine what would happen by him joining the force.

1 Peppa began charging himself up telikenetic wise.

Snickering to himself, this lady seemed to get everything wrong. His name, his wife, the tournament, and the sabre. Sighing again to correct her he would shoot telepathy at the women. Ofcourse the man was a telpathic.

The lightsabre is currently off, the tournament is not to the death. Maybe I should just stop talking, you get everything wrong.

Peppa would simply stand still. He would not use the force to tear this fog away. He had his ways of countering many sorts of things. He saw clearer without his eyes than with anyways. If she was hoping to sneak up on Peppa she had another thing coming, mine as well come straight towards the man.

Keeping his weapon in his right hand, he did not like standing in fog that much and to be honest, yet he was goign to try and keep power usage at a minimum. While it seemed this was all this girl was about.

Deciding he would take the innitiative, Peppa would walk forward. Cooly in a relaxed form while slowly sliding into a sideways stance. His left shoulder closest to his opponent with his lightsabre, despite being turned off, pointed to his opponent. Taking small shuffle steps forwards he would remain locked on her. His awareness exceeding much beyond simply the arena.

In the end though, if the b***h wanted to play with fire, she'd get it..

Coming in at 4 feet from his opponent, Peppa would make a horizontal hip shot. His lightsabre flipping from bent forwards position to a strik with the flip of a switch. The beam would come out at a good 5 feet, Peppa had set it to come out that long this time. Combined with his arm length that would be a good at least 6 foot dodge with 4 foott distance. Aimed from her left to her right across the thighs just below the pelvis.

A small begginers strike.

119Sieg ecstuffuan

Sieg loved watching peppa fight. He reminded Sieg of himself, if Sieg had ever picked up a laser sword. He was fast and systematic with his lightsaber and while Sieg could mearly thrash his opponent and occasionally take them to the ground and break there bones...Peppa just diced you up until you could fight no more.

Sieg had learned about jedi's while studying metaphysics in his free time. They gained access to the same flow life energies he and matthew did without the use of the soul through the use of small bacteria like life forms within the body called midicolorians. One could have no soul, but if there midicolorean count was high enough you could use the same abilities as any spiritualist.

Sieg wasnt sure what side of the force Peppa was on. Peppa seemed human enough and that must mean he was leaning to the dark side. If peppa was a true knight of the light side, then he woudnt really seem human.

120Lenne Misao

Lenne being what she was and what she had been through in the past and training she would be able to see through the darkness of the thick mist that had been cast and had surrounded the area. Plus she could still sense the people about her, so it did not bother her in the slightest. Looking at Val with soft earthern eyes she would hear what he had to say, then respond to him.

"I'm pretty sure you would.."

Seeing his smirk she would continue to smirk, then buzzing would be heard. She watched as Val pulled out a phone and answered. She would not really listen to what he had to say to the person who had phoned him as it could be considered rude to do so, once he had finished the call he had said to her that he had to go. The smirk would turn to a gentle smile as she gave a small nod and replied softly to him.

"I'll catch you around Val."

Lenne watched as he disappeared in a burst of flames, he had made sure they had not hurt her in the process. Smiling she turned to watch the fight as she gulped down the rest of the red bull, the can when finished with would suddenly disappear from her hand. She let both hands drop down by her sides as she stood there watching, a few thoughts ran through her mind while there.

121Tenkai Matsumoto

"Hmm..." Matthew said as he rubbed his chin. This was a turn of events indeed. He did not expect a Jedi to use a lightsaber in a tournament such as this. He had thought he had seen him weild another blade before. He wondered what Kitsune would be able to do to avoid that. A strike like that cold be fatal...

He only hoped that whatever Kitsune had in store would be enough to accomplish what she needed to do. As always, winning wasn't important. Helping his teammates accomplish what they needed to do was his priority, and because of that, they were lucky to be in this bracket.

Amidst all of this, he wondered how Yusuke and his team was faring...

122Nora Thorsen

Her fox ears twitched.

1, 2, 3, 4. Easy.

It was a four-count energy pattern, one of the easiest to decipher, even though it was a fairly quick attack. With a four-count attack, she could simplify her dodge into two moves.

The first, with a slight step to the right, the second allowing her knees to collapse thrusting her upper body backward, Kitsune falling flat onto the tiled floor on her back. Her fall wasn't quick enough, the smell of burnt hair faint, being cooled by the pallid fog, the ends of her sandy-blonde bangs singed, a fairly darker color than her normal shade.

Well, that was close.

She grinned, her mischevious demeanor showing through. She was sly, as was the nature of the fox.

Dodging any attacks would be fairly easy, especially with such neat numbers. The jedi were naturally structured in their style of combat, as was most martial arts, kind of taking a bit from everything. Kitsune, being a skilled dancer and demoness, her reflexes were sharp, and with ears like hers, they were particuarly sensitive.

Even a slight movement, it could be detected. If no noise was made that could pass those ears, even vibrations could alert her. Think like, echolocation in the air. And dodging? Please. Her method was a bit more complex, but made it almost look easy. Jedi had such "perfect numbers". Being so structured, this was going to be a less difficult fight for her than for him. Still, she had to play this right. One formulatic error, and she'd have to sew her top half to her bottom half.

The fog was merely for defense, but now that she was that close, he'd no doubt have seen her. Well, now it was Kitsune's turn for offense.

Using her movements that utilized the dance, she rolled over to the right, onto her stomach quickly, then onto her back again. That grin growing wider, she manuevered her legs into a famous move of the samba, a lock step.

Basically, by putting her leg down with a slight bend, she'd placed her right leg around his left, the backside of her lower calf pressed against his ankle. Giving it a quick sweep, only by quick reflexes would he been able to dodge, she would have swept his foot out from under him, causing him to lose balance.

With another quick roll, she pushed her feet against the ground, tumbling her into a fast somersault, with the fluid movements taking her to her feet. Her right foot was en pointe, pointed toes, leaning on her left, a little ways away from the lightsabre weilding jedi.

This would be more of a hit-and-run type of battle for her, she wouldn't be able to perform consecutive attacks with that weapon threatening to burn more than just her hair.

123-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

"What is it with people trying to dance around us?"

Kichiro laughed as he observed the fight, remembering one he'd just been in with a Manor inside Commerce. It seemed dancers thought they were qualified for fighters. For the last girl seemed more a dancer with wind, and Seig just laid her out.

Now this one was dancing with Peppa?

"Oh boy."

Kichiro feared for her health, if the Jedi was up to snuff. The man was one of the few that could stand toe to toe in a sword fight with Kichiro for very long, though a grin always came when he thought of their last fights. For reasons, best left unsaid.

Kichiro didn't know if Peppa would ever have children again.

That brought a laugh to his lips, that would surely make heads turn as to see what was funny. To most people, it'd look like he was staring at a cloud of fog and had simply gone looney.

...

"What?"

Kichiro looked at the other audience members staring at him, who quickly shrugged and looked other directions.

I like how your doing physical fighting, shows a good amount of confidence and skill where the other lacked. You aren't relying souly on powers.

But Kichiro has a thing against dancers because of a few recent incidents.

Feeling the attack coming through the force, through himself. He basically knew what was happening. So as the lady swung for his feet he would do a quick hop int he air while bringing his arm in a reverse swing, this time going in the opposite direction and much more downwards.

It was as if he knew it was coming. Ofcourse he didn't knwo every aspect of the area around him but he knew the more it was closer to him. With the area being with him, it was as if he had seen every spot of her, including inside her. She had one sense, he had them all. Either way the same cause was in effect.

What was the cause? Leg loss.

THe feet would obvisouly be coming beneath him, followed by in a circular pattern sort of in his direction from the sommersault. With the blade going for a strike for her legs while he was int he air, the two would collide faster than a man hypeded on steroids and viagra and a woman in France. For lack of better words.

THe sabre would easily cut through the floor with the strike as well, the length of the beam providing a wide range of area to be struck while she spun her legs. She would most likely get her knee chopped off at sweepign distance, right when her foot would have hit his own.

A reverse motion was far easier to do with a lightsabre anwyays, the speed would be almost simeutaneous especially since he had to put next to no strength in turning a lightsabre. Most swords had hesitation due to the weight, this was just quick draw backs.

Upon landing he would take a few steps back before turning his lightsabre off. The Jedi had many tricks up his sleeves and this girl hadn't even seen one of them yet. He was a very original man for the order, hell he wasn't really a part of the order. That was not what they were about, they were about peace and justice. Which was what Peppa stood for. He fought in tournaments to be better equipped for peace and justice. His stance in fighting simply was more ordered because he chose to have a discipline with his weapons.

Kichiro shot up through the crowd onto the catwalk while glowing a yellow aura, focusing chi fully on flames alone. The mist would do little to hide them as a light of flame erupted from Kichiro's solar plexus chakra point, flowing before him into a ball. His hands rotated around the ball mid jump till when he'd land behind Kitsune.

Flames would shoot out and around her, not going directly at her. A dome of flames to heat her up, and prevent movement any direction but under the blade which she put her legs under.

"Things might be hot for you two, since you seem to want to get it on so bad."

That would only take about seven seconds, the last three would be him throwing a swift kick towards her head with his heel and then leaping back out of the arena.

(I really hate to be a bugger, but it does get a little confusing when you try to backtrack and counter in the middle of one of my attacks. A jump out of the way followed by an attack would have sufficed. But I'll go with it, I'll just see it as she hadn't somersaulted away. No ill-intent, judges! NONE, I SWEAR!! >.<))

CRAP!

She couldn't go left or right, so the only place to go was up. Pulling her knees up, she rocked back onto her shoulderblades, using her hands to brace her. It caught the heel of her left foot by a bit as he swept downwards, singing the bottom of her thick-soled shoe, leaving a burning callouse on her heel, showing through the bottom of the shoe, looking like it had been chopped off and smeared with charcoal.

Finishing it in a backwards somersault, she was careful to land on her right foot, using her hands to push up her upper body. Landing her left foot carefully behind her, she stood on the balls of her feet, a bit hesitant to put her heel down.

She gritted her teeth, her eyes narrow. Damn, doing the Shippu-odori, the dance of the hurricane, was going to be difficult. If it was made of fire, wouldn't water put it out?

(It's controversial in the many different series and books, but by the movies, it supports that they short out in water. You want an example, pm me, and I'll give you valueable proof.)

Yes, that was too difficult a technique with an injured foot. The snake, the most difficult of all the dance katas, would require use of both feet, for she couldn't attempt a one-footed landing.

But, seeing as he'd put the sabre away, she'd put off that for now. Perhaps the Ame-odori, the dance of the rain, would be of easier use. But still, only when she'd have the direct chance to short out that sabre would she use it.

Kitsune had no powers directly of the elements, it was more... borrowing.

Still, even as they had backed to opposite corners of the feild, it wasn't too far apart, and her mist she'd begun the match with was starting to disperse.

Damn, it wasn't like she had any cortosis ore on her, nor anything of the like that could counteract that lightsabre. That silver escudo earring still hung on her ear, but she had yet to release it. Escudo was about 400 times stronger than diamond, but she still hadn't tested it's imperviousness to heat. Her hand was itching to release it, but she resisted. Now was not the time for tests.

"You're rather skilled with that fancy heat sword of yours," Kitsune complimented him, a rather defensive stance she was in. "As much as I like a good challenge, I'm a bit hesitant to get near you... who knows what's going on in that mind of yours."

She grinned. "But, if you want a victory, you'll have to do better than that."

She was much more skilled with counterattacks than with starting the fight, as they were both eye-locked with each other, no doubt he'd take the initiative to counterattack with the resting sabre if she made a move. She could dodge, but if she didn't count correctly... well, let's just say she'd like to keep herself in one peice.

But having dodged the last one, her ears twiked a bit too soon. "Nan da--?!"

She covered her face with her arms to protect her from the flames, her black eyes squinting from the heat. But, she turned around, stupid move.

Duck, stupid! DUCK!!

As she tried, her body couldn't keep up with Kichiro's speed, hitting her in the left ear, the shock following through with her head. Kitsune was knocked off balance, throwing her across the small feild, off the edge.

"--Wha--?!" she shouted, as she leaned her upper body forward, gripping the edge of the tile of the feild, which was about 15-20 feet off the ground, a steep slope of smooth concrete supporting it. Holding on by the one hand, she grunted, pulling herself back up again, standing on her feet.

Well, that one had caught her off guard. Won't let that happen again.

Post 3

She was pulling herself up when two things happend.

The first being the result of Peppa's spiritual energys. With a combination of absorb energy and telikenetic energy he had created a high pitched sound. Peppa ofcourse had a psychic barrier against this sound aroudn his ears, yet nonetheless it was a ear screching sound. For a ktisune who had hyper sensitive ears, that meant pain and confusement. Her 'Eyes' had been blocked.

Peppa knew about Kitsunes, didn't need to know she was relying on them ears of hers from a post to know that. It's how they all worked.

The second thing was that in the blind of this fog, a lightsabre was being thrown at super speeds. Handled with telikenetic energy the blade would zoom at her hands in a tilted arc. The tilt being in a good 80 degree angle in front of her. In other words, she'd be pulling herself up onto the lightsabre...well the lightsabre would be cutting her fingers off anyways so she wouldn't be doing any pulling.

Now it was stated earlier the sabre was 5 feet long, spinning around it would be a 10 foot blade. Add in th

e hilt itself it would be a good 12 foot round blade. Spinning so fast that it didn't look like a sabre anymore than a disc saw.

If she was still on the platform miracuously the blade would come back from her side for her upper thighs, something she could not bend. Before coming to Peppa's hand at a stop. If she was standing up on the platform miracuously, she would find her thighs shot still. This time throught he blindness of the sound.

She would not be able to feel the weapon coming, judging by how fast the weaponw as moving it would be much like a gunshot. Simply just there and back. THere also was no indication the lightsabre was coming back untill it did. Which by then it would be too late. By the time she could turn around it would have came back and hit her.

Keep thinking this is a fire sword.

The past few days haven't been too gracious to Zee, but a bit of time alone would give him some comfort and ease to the tensions building up within his body. Taking but a few easy steps around the final clearing, the newly converted reclamation center would come into sight, the fighters along with it.

Being born in the Durem forests and fairly acquainted with the structure, he didn't expect to see such a drastic change in the enviornment, mostly due to the fact that there were actually people aside from the villigers at the reclamation sight. As he edged closer to the crowd, he'd notice a few of the faces from taverns and gyms that he seldomly visited in his pathways of wandering, and the sight of their faces brought a sudden urge to well up with his body.

"Just what is going on..." He'd ask himself curiously, not much expecting a response from anyone in the crowd.

"HoH Man, get with it already."

"Who doesn't know about the event? It's all the rage!"

"What are you... retarded?"

He didn't allow the responses to drag him down at all, instead he started to search his way around the crowd to see if he could get a few steps closer to the ring. 'HoH huh?' He thought to himself quietly as his strides slowly started to sift into a jog. 'Why haven't I heard of that before?'

Her ears stung, but she couldn't allow herself to cover them, her eyes cringing. A loud buzzing sound overcame it all, as she let go, her fingers just missing the sword, but now she was falling for the ground.

Quick, quick, be quick.

In a flash of deep purple light, her image warped about, a small tan-colored tree frog -with a silver hoop on it's back and a black spot on it's lower left foot- suctioning against the wall.

Shapeshifting, one of her most elementary powers. As was a normal trait for the kitsune breed, changing her shape was an easy feet, utilizing the ability of the frog's suctioning appendages to climb back up the wall, waiting for his other attacks to go by.

She could change into anything she could -or had- touched. It took a bit of energy, but this could have been the decisive move for her.

Pressing herself against the floor on her stomach she regained her original shape, as the lightsabre whirred over her. His force was well enough magic, she would soon use magic of her own.

Her ears still rang, and winced, trying to mentally block it out. It was a bit of a handicap, but she'd work through it. Simply because of the lack of height, the lightsabre had gone right over her, as she pushed herself up. As it was returning to it's master, now was the time to strike.

"SHIRUBA-TENSAI!!" she shouted, removing the hoop from her ear, holding it behind her as in a flash of light, the ring had grown, to about a 5 foot diameter. With a sweep to the side, she'd thrown the ring, aiming for his middle, sweeping across the sides, the sharp blade spinning.

((Look in my profile for a picture of the ringblade))

Matthew saw that Kitsune was getting scuffed up out there. That lightsaber was not something to be trifled with. If her weapon was strong enough to defend against it, then she should have been confident enough in the first place to draw it. But he couldn't tell her what to do in this fight. He could only see what she would do to find her way out of this.

He hardly even heard the comments from the peanut gallery. All he was focused on was watching the fight. He knew Kitsune was giving her best, as would he when the time came.

150Zeo Hiroboshi

The sight of the lightsabre sent a few shivers down his spine, but it wasn't something he'd likely have to encounter in his later days. He was too passive of a person to become directly linked into a tournament like this, though the idea of it all seemed somewhat interesting after a bit of pondering...

It was neither here or there though, the contest was likely already set to its limits and he'd take no pursuit in participating in the slaughter, not this year. Instead, he focused on finding a clear path through the crowd or perhaps around them, but it seemed the thicket had grown over time. Perhaps if he was a little earlier he'd have a chance to get past the barriers of people clogging the lines up.

Glancing a bit around here and there, Zeo decided it was better to be content of what he had at the moment. There was no point in using up energy to get a closer view on a spectacle like this, though he wanted to deep down inside. Instead, he'd take a few to relax and try to get a few glances here and there over the oddly quiet crowd who seemed awe struck at the events passing before them.

Rewind a step.

This is by what Sieg woudl call "logical Reaction". Without Peppa's control it would not be going back from behind. As a matter of fact, Peppa had complete control of the object, it was a extention of his arm. So was it logical to say that if Peppa was going to be off on his shot before he made it that he wouldn't recalculate? That he would simply watch the said item zoom by over her head?

No it was not logical, in fac to say that a trained fighter would simply allow his weapon to miss was highly illogical. It was actually stupid for him to watch it happen in slow motion and simply watch it go around.

With that being said, the ligthsabre would coming back would tilt at a angle. Angle of interaction as said. It would be too high for her head but not too high for her left arm. SHe had not stated she had detected the lightsabre at all, in fact she said it was my dumb luck and raw height difference that the lightsabre had missed her. In gaia dumb luck didn't last very long. FOr her to say that her ringing ears were to magically heal and she'd sense the beam coming back from behind would too be highly illogical.

So what happend was a highly logical action, a lightsabre coming to cut off her left arm at shoulder point 'fore going back to Peppa. His attack should've just succeeded without flaw.

Now if she still were to throw the weapon at Peppa it would simply stop in front of him posing as a shield.

Now here is when his opponent decides. If the ten times diamond is stronger then a lightsbare beam. Extremely strong metals can compete with the beam yet there was no actual demonstration of a ten times diamond versus lightsabre. If it was just as strong, the lightsabre would be pushing the ring upwards. Immediatly shooting the circle back at her opponent.

Ever see two blades interact? Especially like this? A mental power was just as if not stronger than a throw, when the lightsbare would come upwards it would push the ring upwards. The ring's bottom part would come in interaction with the floor just as Peppa attempted to grab control of the weapon while the lightsabre came into his hand. Pushing the weapon forward, it would continue to spin forward at his opponent like a massive ball. Attempting to crush her with her own weapon. The rebound of this would be directly proportionate to her throw. So if she said her throw was amazing fast, she'd find the rebound was amazingly fast. Thus she'd have no time to recover.

This odd looking weapon amazed Peppa, he even took a second to grin at it's use. If was in more propper it would have been much more efective.. although he had to applaude her. Either way, the man would take a breather, he had expressed little energy in these past tags yet he liked to keep himself at his top.

Feeling good love? Hope so. I'm just getting started.

Kitsune's ringblade was a unique weapon, one that supplied it's form by her energy. Simple, she had to fuel her energy into it to make it grow, and repeal it to return it to it's dormant form. Seeing as the weapon was heavy, she did move a bit slower with it, and bouncing off of another surface did slow it down a bit more.

((Not modding, it's physics.))

Taking that advantage, she recalled her energy, the little hoop sliding towards her just out of reach.

Laying on the ground had only given her a moment's rest, with her foot still injured, and true, her dumb luck would only last so long. The ringing in her ears started to fade, that mental block at least helping her keep her sanity.

She'd seemed rather cocky at the beginning of the match, but as she looked up, her black eyes were more focused, calm, intense. She had something to fight for, no more fooling around. No more running, she had something to prove, and her son depended on it. Her team depended on it. SHE depended on it.

Only noticing it as she'd moved, her left shoulder stung, having been clipped by the thrown lightsabre, in it's speed, dealing almost painless injuries until she'd proceeded to notice them. Well, both lefts were handicapped.

Oh joy.

She grinned, standing up, clutching the earring again. She didn't have the energy to release it again just yet, and held onto it tightly in her left fist, her right hand over her left shoulder.

"Good, Keep me entertained," she answered, her face stern.

She'd need Yukina after this battle, her ringblade would need a good repair-job.

Kay, here we go again.

She took off running to the right, as she was in the west corner of the feild, running along the right side to the east, worming around Peppa, presumably a preparation for an attack.

Peppa was truly astonished by how the woman reacted to the attack. The phantom pain was of no consequence. In fact it had no affect to her form of running. Between the heel and the arm she was still running without any afflcition. Perhaps she had lost limbs before.

Seeing the woman run to a seperate catwalk (It's all catwalks we're on) from Peppa, to his right he would shrug. She was just making things easier for himself. When she woudl reach the catwalk to the side he would use telikenetics again to tear the sides of the catwalk off. The very peices of metal she stood on now was free from support.

In other words, the very floor beneath her fell, with her on it he presumed. She had just used a great bundle of energy transforming and using a ring. If she had enough energy for another transformation it was presumed it would be the last of her energy. If she had more, Peppa again would be awed at this amazing display of fighting capacity.

Imagine this, Indiana Jones running across them wooden bridges with both sides cutting off at once. Now make believe Kitsune is indiana jones for a second, except with boobs and a whip.

((by clipping, it's taken the edge of her shoulder off. No, I am not having my character lose a limb. It hurts like a b***h, but can still function.

Also, I seem to be the only one taking the hits. Usually in a battle, even most won't go even slightly unscathed. Keep in mind, love. Now, I could be the one that goes dodging everything since she does have those capability reflexes, but I'm trying to be fair.))

She's a 700 year old demon, of course she had more energy. If she was worn out this quickly, it'd be unfathomable by demon kind.

Of course, his mind should be starting to wear out, tearing each part off peice by peice, she was positive Jedi's minds didn't have exchangable batteries.

She was feeling physically tired, yes, but that wouldn't stop her. Kitsune had resolve, which, being the underdog, would push her even more.

Chronos would NOT be going back to the Makai.

Presuming he'd made the tiles fall, it had caused her to lose her footing, as she quickly grabbed onto the supports holding up the metal tiles, using a pull of her arm to swing her back up, towards Peppa.

"SHIRUBA-TENSAI!" she yelled again, as it formed in her hand, and she threw it with her right arm to his left, throwing it straight, with a snap of her wrist to make it spin.

By throwing it straight, it would roll into the floor, aiming for his left shoulder. She could have thrown it down the middle, which would have been harder to dodge, but she had another plan.

((Yay, physics time again!!))

If he dodged the first to the side or up, he would have to face it reeling back, which would give a nearly escapable attack from the back. With his force attentive on the tiles he'd pulled away, no Jedi could divert that quickly. Either way, it would at least scar him.

((I'm serious. Go throw a hula-hoop on a solid surface with it straight up, and snap your wrist. After it goes a little distance, the friction makes it roll back, feuling it's physical force.))

But, separated from her ring, Kitsune darted off to his right, reaching her injured right hand out. Which was more harmless, her hand or her ringblade?

She swiftly passed him, tapping a hand on his right shoulder.

Nothing more, only a tap.

Why?

Oh, Matthew would know.

I don't mean to be bitchy, but I'm not using any elemental powers to give me an advantage. I'm going solely off of a phyiscal standpoint. I'm at least trying to be somewhat fair, ne? Her weapon obeys the laws of physics, where does the force? Or demon energy?

Timing. He backtracks too. Don't even start.

It's seen in his posts, he makes a past-present-future possibility type post.

Mine is solely a present-future possibility. I don't backtrack. If I get hit, I get hit. I don't rewind and try to replay it.

My character has certain traits, as does Peppa. I respect the traits, but an unhittable foe isn't exactly fair, even by Gaian rules.

Really, I have no ill-nature against you, Peppa, or anyone else here, I just hope that maybe it'll turn into a bit more of a two-sided battle. It's really boring to have to have my character just run away.))

I'm not going to argue with you why by sayign "getting clipped" is modding a opponents post and will just accept "getting clipped" as a action to describe how you had moved around to get only get clipped by my weapon as a feesable answer. You have done only two attacks, one was a sweep and the other was easily blocked by something already in play <3

I love you too <3

Peppa shrugged as the woman ammazingly had the dexterity to jump off a pole ontot he platform. Somethign Peppa wasn't going to be able to do without the force any day. He shrugged this off as a coincedence tho', whatever the girl wanted.

She would throw the spinning weapon of doom straight. He may have been previously concentrated on a tile but with the larg emaount of time it takes to jump onto a bridge, summon a giant ring, and throw it he could turn to the women and concentrate as well. He wasn't a Deet de dee.

So the weaponw as thrown to Peppa's left straight up and down towars him. He would simple take a side step to the right. The blade would hit the ground then spin back at her. Having in no way a possible way to touch him when it came back. If it had, it would have magically changed it's angle or you would have been lieng. It requires a straight up edge to do the rebound so thus dodging it was a boring experience.

So the lady had ran up to him. In fac tto his right on the very small surface. As she came to him straight head one seeing how the catwalk had little space, Peppa would hold his lightsabre forward.

Left=Free space/blade Middle=blade/free space right=Peppa.

Now what possesed this woman to think that just because a blade was being thrown him he wouldn't see his opponent run straight in front of him was beyond him. He would simply turn on his lightsabre while pinting it to the women while she ran at him. The "swift pass" would be in interaction 5 feet before she'd be in arms distance to tap his shoulder.

If she did a flip before the sabre hit him, it was safe to say he would have moved accordingly. If she were to move to her own right she would meet her own disc. Running straight on at Peppa in no means would allow a tap.

Also it's modding to say he was still tapped.

((Fight is on pause till I say otherwise.

Give me a minute to look over things.

I'll say this now.

Each round is read over by the judges at the end of the match. They grade it, do some math, and give a pair of grades. One for each team; the higher being the winner.

They do not only grade on ability to fight or how badass they think a character is. They grade on reason, ability, and coherence. If s**t just doesn't add up or is just plain stupid, points are deducted. Clear violations of basic roleplaying rules also end in a deduction of points. Someone can obliterate their opponent, the world, and sixteen light years of galaxy with four lines of post and then lose miserably through point deductions.

We see everything both IC and OOC, and we take it into account for grading.

Now, I can go back and have things deleted and make you guys start over. Which would make the round take even longer, or I can let you folks continue on and let your roleplaying be the basis for the grade without judge intervention.

It's up to you guys. I'm perfectly willing to go back and make judgecalls where I see fit, or you folks can finish what you've started.))

Valentine arrived once more this time wearing an outfit he'd never worn out before. He had on a black muscle shirt that went down to his elbows with a black vest over it. The vest had an assortment of different red and silver zippers and buttons that looke like they went to different pockets, but were really there only for the look of it. He wore baggy red jeans with black and silver zippers and buttons too match the vest. His hands were covered with fingerless red gloves that go up to meet the ending of the sleeves of the shirt with black and orange flames on the knuckles and palm. He looked at the fight taking off his shades to reveal his beautiful burning orange eyes. They cut through all for him making it look like he was using heat vision.

Tru stepped out of the woods, not too far from the platform, but enough distance to stay unseen. She'd gotten wind that Peppa was up to no good. This was something she wanted to see for herself, even if she was his ex-wife. One he thought she was dead.

A little birdie also fed her some info that he was still married to Josie, even while she was married to him. She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, tsking at what terrible behavior that was.

Her blue orbs lifted, catching the woman he was fighting. She'd just tossed a ring at him, which he'd dodged. Now it looked as though the woman was heading straight for him.

She shifted, sweeping a hand through her white hair as it hung loosely over her shoulders. A tree was next to her and she moved next to it, leaning a shoulder against it. Her black jacket scraped gently against the bark, nearly snagging the material.

That's what they're here for, anyway. We want to get this moving along.

And now, back to RPing.))

Matthew wasn't sure what could happen next with all that was going on. This fight seemed much longer than the one Umbriel had against Sieg. However, he was unsure whether or not it would end as peacefully betwen combatants as it did between Umbriel and Sieg. As much as Matthew wanted to maintain the honorable atmosphere, Kitsune was from Makai, and the Jedi did not seem to be of the Order. As such, the usual tensions of battle were sadly unavoidable.

He could feel a familiar presence somewhere off in the distance as he sat on the sidelines, though. Some familiar feeling from the past. This would be no surprise to him. Kichiro was one from his past, and he somewhat remembered Peppa from his days back in the city of Auria. In the back of his mind, he wondered how that far-off city was faring...

Round over?

Peppa woudl remark, rather suprised. Perhaps there were some fouls of some sort. The Jedi would simply shrug that thought off while turning off his lightsabre. Slipping it away safely in his right pocket he would then perform yet another bow to the lady, keeping his eyes off his opponent. He didn't care of that, they were in the HoH.

Miss, if by chance I win, is there any way I can help you'r son? Anything really. I had to fight for my team, my sympathy wasn't going to cost my friends dreams. I apologise sincereily for this.

Compassion.

Standing up, the soft eyed Jedi would look over to her. It was true that the man had no order, no real system he had to follow with consequences. He didn't need them, he was a true good heart in the end. Earlier it was speculated that Peppa would be leaning to the dark side, true he did have his emotions yet much like Mace Windu-he still was a saintly spirit.

His humanicity showed through his emotions and mistakes. He was no immortal despite how close to the light side he became. It seemed that he would never become the Jedi he should be yet he was content with that. As long as he could help out a grandma walk across the street every now and than, he was happy.

The lady had been walking this whole time so thus healing her seemed pointless to ask. He suspected she already had a healing dance, yet he had to simply ask it. He wasn't going to simply beat up a mother with a precious cause than walk away.

Yet he had to get off the stage.

I know you can walk, if you want I can take care of them wounds off the arena. I have to make room for my friend Kichiro.

Turning around, the Jedi would look at the catwalk maze. No longer wishing to use much more of his powers, having showed and done too much as it is, he would simply walk off the catwalks. 'Fore making a small hop off the catwalks onto a free space of grass. It wasn't that he was tired, it was he just after a point didn't like the use of powers all too much. Hypocritical, he knew.

Standing against a tree, he could see the looks of dissapointment on the crowd. Yet they still were taking pictures of him. It seemed odd, perhaps it was because of who he was. The Jedi of Gaia. Not too many of those around, y'know?

Looking over for Sieg, he would give a wave and a smile. He'd done better this year he supposed.

Suppose anythign would be better than last year.

173Nora Thorsen

((I'm not even supposed to be on right now, so sorry for lack of a long post. And for everyone, I apologize sincerely for being so bitchy and picky, like I said, it just wasn't a good day for me, and being tired with the flu didn't exactly help. Apologies to everyone, and I love everyone who accepts my apologies.))

Kitsune was panting, skidding to a stop in mid-attack, as she whipped around, looking back at the judge. He'd intervened and called the round over. Not that she could argue, she felt about to collapse.

Letting out a sigh, she retrieved her earring, and stepped off, ignoring the burns in her shoulder and foot, just merely removing it from her mind.

"Mother..." Helios murmured, as he stood out of the way, back in the spectators section, to allow his mother room.

With a few quick movements, the ha odori was performed.

Sheep, pig, sheep, rat, rabbit.

Then sitting back down on the ground, indian-style, she held her right hand over her left shoulder, her left palm resting on her left heel. A faint green light emitted from her hands, beginning the slow healing process. It would take awhile to complete, but that way, she could recover as she anticipatedly awaited Matthew to take on the last member of Lu Bu.

Still with her breath heavy, her dance of the leaves seemed to pulse in and out with her breath, a heavier wave of green light flowing over her with every exhale, dimming a bit as she inhaled.

With a brief look to Matthew, she bowed her head apologetically. She had done her best, but it seemed that even the demon's strength had proved invaluable against mind powers and magics of the force. Kitsune had tried a solely physical approach, which still didn't seem to get her much of anywhere. She just hoped that Matthew could bring a bit more honor to their team, which had fallen due to Kitsune's unruly, cocky demeanor.

"I'm sorry, Matthew..." she murmured.

Peppa would sigh, he hadn't meant to use any force enegry. He would have preferred a physical approach to this match yet he saw a large flaw. It was her ears. When she ran away from him he couldn't just chase after her, he figured he'd just keep up the offensive. Yet it wasn't that which had upset him the most.

It was that she simply ignored him.

He felt pretty bad, he felt as if he should concentrate on other thngs. Looking around through the crowd he would search through the force. Feeling their souls to recognise them the quickest. It was mere nanosecond before he had realise who was in the area.

Tru.

Peppa would immediatly stand up with his mouth open. THe usual 'Uhh?!' noise and looks a anime would have had this been it. 'Cept this was real and he was seriously shocked. Immediatly Peppa would look in the direction he felt her soul. Hoping that she was still there.

Was he hallucanating? Did he still think about her? Despite her having done so many things to him. Yet he nothing to her. Why was he such a forgiving soul, couldn't he just hate her existence like most people?

No, it was not him.

175-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

Kichiro watched Jedi and the dancer, wondering what was going on. The Chimagin had seen quite a bit, with light saber and mist thrower going on. He wasn't exactly sure who had won, except that it seemed Peppa had constantly been on the offense with the dancer trying not to get shiskabobbed.

Maybe her ability to stay in one piece might have given her the edge in points, though he wasn't sure really.

Kichiro merely shrugged and started towards the catwalk. His fingers were itching to go to the hilts of his blades, but he wouldn't yet.

Out from the crowd he stepped, Kichiro tossing his tophat aside and letting black strands fall loosely about his shoulders. He looked like a Ronin, dressed in black but with the look of a samurai in his eyes and the way he carried himself. The aura of strength he kept about him, honor and such. However the sparkle in those orbs spoke of hidden michief.

A mixture of thoughts, emotions, and motives, the Chimagin would arrive for his battle.

176Tru Punky

Peppa's compassion and thoughtfulness was what made Tru ache for him still. She pushed off the tree, straightening and about to leave after she heard the words exchanged between Peppa and the kitsune.

She went to give her back to him when she felt him hone in on her. "Damnit.." She cursed under her breath. Her intentions were to come and make sure things had gone well for him, not to stir any emotions while his team fought.

From afar she could see the look of shock on his face. They'd not seen each other since the zombification had happened to them both, and deep down she knew things were forever different between the two. She wondered if he felt the changes in her body, a new person, so to say. After her death she returned with some gifts that she could only assume she'd gotten from Demitros and what he did.

Lifting her blue eyes, she looked at Peppa and smiled. She brought her hand up and gave him a peace sign before turning and heading into the woods only two feet behind her.

177Tenkai Matsumoto

Matthew quickly leapt from his spot over to the catwalk and went over to Kitsune, slowling his speed as he drew closer. He stopped by her and placed a hand on top of her head, smiling.

"Do not fret, Kitsune," he said. "I asked you to do your best, and you did your best. There is no shame in that. Your opponent was strong...most likely stronger than your son. I am sure that King Yemma was pleased, from wherever he's watching. Now...go to the sidelines. Umbriel will help heal you, along with others."

With that, he'd stand on one side of the arena. It was time for his fight now. There was no time to waste with it, either. He had an obligation to fulfill. The others had gone out there to make their honor known by doing the best that they could against some of the most difficult opponents in the tournament. He had no regrets.

He stood before Kichiro, who was at the other side of the arena. He was fighting a strong, honorable opponent. Matthew couldn't ask for anything more. As always, Matthew was dressed in his yukata, with special wooden geta upon his feet. His trusted swords, Muramasa and Tenkashiwa, were at his side. His calm face then began to move as he uttered these words in a tongue he felt Kichiro would understand.

"Iza...jinjou ni shoubu." ((Hey/Come...Let us fight with honor.))

178-_- Kichiro Oda -_-

Across the catwalk Kichiro strode, acknowledging his oppenant with a nod of his head and a twinkle in his eye.

"I've yet to see your swordsmanship first hand, let this be a mighty first hand at that."

As Kichiro strode, his right hand and left crossed down over his chest to his hips. His right hand enclosed over a hilt of a blade which lay at his left hip, a coldsteel wakazashi. His left wrapped around an upside down katana blade's hilt. Three feet was the katana, one and a half was the wakazashi.

And as Kichiro strode forth, his steps loosened and became more fluid. Aye, the man became the fighter and the fighter into the swordsman. Ne'er longer was he the Kichi' on the sidelines. On the balls of his feet he moved in a shuffle step, with left being behind the right.

"Prepare yourself!"

As Kichiro would come into melee range, four foot when speaking with swords typically, his left foot would drop back into a slant so his right side was forward. His right and left hands would pull up simultaneously on the hilts, with the wakazashi forward and coming up in a reverse grip against his forearm. The hilt itself would be before his left shoulder and up to gaurd his chest with a little over three quarters of a foot of the blade coming out from his elbow.

The katana which's hilt was on the right side would come in a snap slash from the sheath, taking the momentum of movement and transferring it to the blade. It would pass at the inside of Mathew's left knee and come to Kichiro's own left hip with the blade ending the slash pointing at Mathew's right thigh.

The sudden burst of movement would leave Kichiro's overcoat flying backwards from release of force, and it would leave Kichiro looking an entirely different sort by the end of it.

1/17

179Tenkai Matsumoto

As Kichiro came forward with the shuffle step, Matthew readied himself, moving his left leg back a bit and bending it slightly so that it would build potential energy for a dash. His left hand grasped the hilt of Tenkashiwa, the sword with the white tsukagashira, in a reverse grip. He kept his right hand in front of him, open handed, almost as if he was going to use it to defend himself. The crowd would think he was insane for not drawing his sword in the first place.

But Matthew wasn't insane. Just before Kichiro came within the four-foot melee range, Matthew sprung forth as well. This would cause the gap to close quicker as they both hit the four foot range.

As Kichiro was drawing his katana forth for the strike that was intended for Matthew's left leg, which would still be a target by the time it was executed, Matthew would put his right hand forward to block Kichiro's left arm at the wrist with his right, turning his hips slightly into it to counter the force. Intercepting the attack here would keep Kichiro's arms crossed just enough so that the wakizashi being drawn as the katana slashed would not be able to be moved forward for an attack, or else it would cost Kichiro his arm.

But now what? Surely with his right arm blocking and his left hand on a sword on is left, he couldn't possibly bring it out for a slash at this point.

But Matthew wasn't intending to slash.

As Matthew blocked Kichiro's left, Matthew pulled forward with his left hand that was grasping one of his swords, his hip turning with it, much like one would do when they threw a swift and fluid "one-two" punch. He was keeping his body straight and balanced as he did this, for he had no need to crouch with Kichiro. As his left hand pulled forward, so would the blade draw, oddly giving off no light as it came from its hilt. The blade itself wasn't the problem, though, as the white tsukagashira (hilt end) of the sword was heading straight for Kichiro's nose from the underside in a quick and powerful thrust.

Since this was done as the interrupting block was executed, it would be easier for him to reach Kichiro's nose faster since the wakizashi was being drawn up to his chest. The only direction to parry would be from below, and if Matthew's jab was still fast enough, it could hit the bridge of the nose instead. Hopefully the force of the handle strike combined with the lack of center line balance from the hands being crossed would cause Kichiro to stumble back out of the closed range and back into melee range, where they would continue the fight.

Except that the katana hand was underneath, and the wakazashi arm was over. Aslo, Kichiro wasn't blind to see the dash coming, and would react at the moment Mathew moved. Considering Kichiro came out with a right slanted stance, that meant the blade was still coming up as Matthew attempted to block the further back hand. That meant they'd be in really close, because he'd have to reach in to a hand, before the blade withdrew, that was already further back from Mathew.

Kichiro was still meaning to bring his wakazashi up forward, and it did. Though it'd have a tough time going into reverse with Mathew's chest in the way, but it'd still go rotating in his right hand in that direction. In fact, the coldsteel blade wouldn't even notice there was something in the way. In order to reach for Kichiro's left wrist, he'd have to go across Kichiro's body with his arm as said before. That meant that they had less than a foot between them.

With that wakazashi blade cutting Mathew right open at the chest as it rotated into the reverse hold, where he rotated into and Kichiro really hadn't meant to be an attacking motion in the first place but it worked. The liquid silver nitrate channel hidden on it would eat through any armor that happened to be there.

That meant Mathew would be withdrawing his blade for the hilt punch underneath the wakazashi now stuck in him.

...The blade itself wasn't the problem, though, as the white tsukagashira (hilt end) of the sword was heading straight for Kichiro's nose from the underside in a quick and powerful thrust.

Since this was done as the interrupting block was executed, it would be easier for him to reach Kichiro's nose faster since the wakizashi was being drawn up to his chest.

If Mathew still happened to get the jab in, then it would happen with Kichiro rotating his own hips with a counter force and pressing back with the now reversly held blade, sticking into Mathew's chest while headbutting the hilt of the jabbing sword back down to the sheath. With Kichiro's left foot back and anchored to keep his body balanced, and Mathew rotating into a coldsteel blade, he'd take the damage to the head with a bit of a ring while likely cutting Mathew right open with a lot more force into that reverse blade.

If Matthew wanted to remain in one piece, he'd likely move back and off of Kichiro's left arm. That'd cause the snapping slash of the katana to come out with the same momentum momentarily delayed with Mathew's right hand.

So as Matthew went back from being slashed in the chest, his left leg would be far more in range at the kneee of the katana blade and be either sliced off or highly damaged. Along with Mathew's right leg as it was now inside the arch of coming back to Kichiro's left hip.

"Damn... that was a new one."

Kichiro would shake off the headbutt to the hilt, seeing double for a moment but keeping his blades in position.

Tru! I-......wanted to see if you were okay....

Peppa cried out before he would mumble the last words, seeing it was obvious Tru wasn't to chat. She probably was just checking up on him. Which generally made him feel relieved, let him know the past year of his life hadn't been a complete and utter waste of time.

He felt, guilty still.

How would he feel guilty? She was the one that had left him, that had caused him to go through so much emotion. Even after she was free of her demons she still chose to act like this. It was never his fault yet he felt as if he should've been there to prevent the demon. To have taken the demon itself or something....anything.

Now he felt even more guilty.

Josie had came on in at emo Peppa. A Peppa that really didn't care much, her words had saved him for the most part. She was so blindly faithful of Peppa even untill now that he couldn't help but to have a soft spot for her. True, he had a soft spot for her about a week after Tru did this to Peppa, yet he didn't want to go through this. Thinking about Tru when Josie was getting closer to him.

He was pathetic.

With another sigh the Jedi would simply slump down to the tree again. His back sliding against the hard bark untill his a** met the ground. Cursing at himself he would simply look up at the round.

Already Kichiro was using the same moves Peppa had felt. Knee chops. If the guy kept it up it would be much more than knees.

He winced at that memory.

182Tru Punky

Hearing Peppa gave Tru pause. Letting her head hang forward, she felt the soft pieces of her white hair brushing against her cheek. She still loved Peppa, and she believed it'd never go away, even if she was with Valgarv now and him with Josie.

She hated to see him sad, but she could feel it. She slid her hands down her jacket, thinking quietly to herself before she turned and walked back towards him.

The back of him was just barely visible behind the tree. She walked over and knelt next to him, sitting down on her knees. There were no words, she wasn't sure what to say just yet, but she knew she had things that she felt the need to say.

Her blue orbs drifted towards the current battle between Matthew and Kichiro. That was when she realized she knew Matthew. She knew him before he came to Auria. The thought of how many friends she'd gathered over the years made her smile.

"It's a small world...ya know?"

"It's a small world...ya know?"

He hadn't even noticed her coming to him. He had been trying to block her out when the fight came. When she came down next to him, he would smile. A content one yet a smile noenthless. He was glad she would talk to him at least, he didn't want to leave it at that....the zombie note. That was horrible for Peppa to live with.

Small world? He had hardly notticed Matthew. Lately Peppa cared less and less abotu random people around him. Matthew, when at Auria, was nex to oblvious to Peppa's knowledge. He recalled hearing the name somewhere but that's about where it had ended.

So naturally he didn't recognise a face untill now.

I suppose so, when you know something about most people in the whole tournament....I always know about people....well, almost always.

Peppa would mumble the last bit again, taking a moment to think. Turning to look at Tru for the first time since she had sit down, he would smile. She did have something different to her, he had to give her that. He himself? That was another story.

His eyes looked as if they lacked sleep, brand new light scars across his entire body from spars with Kichiro. He had always had scar marks when they were married but not burn scars. Kichiro had a habbit of scorching and dicing at the same time while Peppa simply diced. His hair even was off, he had just been in a fight after all. It hadn't caused too much ruffling but it caused enough for it to get a little more messy.

Yet his eyes still showed the same compassion.

I'm sorry for this all Tru. Leaving you, not being there, hiding the kids, attacking you. I'm sorry....I didn't want anything to end like this. I would've never left if I knew this would've happend....if I knew you would've needed me.

Almost sad how he could still say this with full honest heart despite the past. He loved her, yes, it was just things wouldn't be the same. With the actions she had done to him. Things he couldn't forgive her for. Givining into lust was something Peppa never forgave. It was irresponsile in the end. Absolutely retarded.

Oh yes, he's oblviious to the whole Josie thing.

"Mhm." Tru looked at Peppa, taking note of the new scars. She bit the corner of her lip and brought a hand to his, squeezing it gently. "Let's not do this, Peppa, please. My heart is split in two, not by you, but myself. I should have come to you before I let things get out of control with the change. I'm sorry."

She sighed softly, wishing they didn't have to be put in this position. "But I guess it wasn't really a marriage between us anyway." Smiling softly, she turned her gaze away from his. "Rumor has it that you and Josie were never divorced...funny that.."

Standing slowly, she let her hand slip from his. "I've been experiencing some changes since Demitros helped rid the demon. It was small things. When I died and returned they were even more noticeable. Like those scars.." She pointed to him. "I could probably heal most of them or any other wounds."

It's alright, we can't put all of the blame on one person. Thank you for saying it, relieved I'm not the only one that has some remorse over the situation.

The next words would hit a funny spot.

Peppa and Josie married that whole year? He hadn't even seen her that whole year really. She was off in lala land far far away from Peppa. He would have a sort of "that'd be ******** wierd" way. Which well, was the way he was laughing.

Ending it with a sigh he would look up to her, shaking his head. His soft eyes meeting hers with complete honesty. If he had messed up with their marriage, then it was beyond hisknowledge.

We certainly ended it, if anything we ended it better than you and I did. I don't know who'd say that we were married this whole time. It's not like there's any papers in gaia I can get. She knew it was over, I knew it was over.

Thinking of what she said twice, he would frown. Wasn't really a marriage? How could she say that. They shared something special. It had bost lust and love components. Was somethign not many people came by in their entire life time. He found it annoying that she could sit next to him and still say that.

Raising a finger he would rub his right temple, the temple away from her, while speaking in a monotone voice.

THat is among the worse things you can say to me if you believe it. We had something more than a marriage for that time we were together. The future and the past can not change the interprations of how we cared for eachother.

Than with a sudden change of emotions Peppa simply smiled before turnign to the fight. (Must resist strong urge to say that Kichiro and Matt are in the same positon xDDD). When Tru began speaking of changes, he would snicker to himself. He had some ideas for changes in himself. Changes as in spiritual changes. He was goign to attempt and follow the path of Mace Windu.

Something along the lines of channelign his emotions for good. Keeping himself in complete light despite how much his emotion flared. Something that required a highly enlightened level of control. Something Peppa lacked completely.

He prayed he could do that, he'd be alot safer from the dark side thise way.

These scars are fine, they'll fade or I'll heal them. Yet, what are you talking about? Birthmarks aren't radioactive now, are they?

186Tru Punky

"I feel this is my entire fault, so don't blame yourself."

Tru frowned at his next words. It was obvious Peppa was taking what she said out of context. "Peppa, I'm not saying that our marriage was bad. It was the best year of my life. Please, don't take what I said wrong. I meant it more of a quip then anything."

"As for what happened with you and Josie...I'm not sure. I'm just telling you what I've been told. You know how rumors circulate in Auria. No telling what people are saying about us and this whole mess."

Shoving her hands into her jacket pockets, she frowned. "I wasn't saying I'd heal you. I was just telling you what's happening to me."

Nonetheless things could've been better had I done certain things differently. I can accept some blame for this, can I not?

When he words seeped in, he would simply smile in her direction. Truly glad. Nothing could have been more heart upsetting than her thinking otherwise. Peppa believed that the year they spent together was something magnificent.

Something he'll always remember regardless.

Thank you.

'Sall he could really say.

With a smirk he would ponder on what else circulated Auria. He never recieved any rumors unless he was with magik who told truth not rumors. If it was a rumor she'd state it was, either way she was the most reliable source of information in that damn city.

It's funny isn't it? How everyone simply knows about things without telling a soul? Only what two people have been told by me about these past weeks.

Feeling stupid for a moment he'd play it off.

With a scratch at the back of his head he'd laugh. He had misentreprated what she had said, how ironic of him to do so after getting annoyed with a Kitsune for doing the same thing. 'Cept she did do it in alot of cases, especially with calling him Pep-uh!

He hated that pronounciation of the name.

Well don't I feel liek a idiot. I'm sorry, why frowning? Is it something really bad looking?

188Tru Punky

Tru shrugged, scrunching her lips together and raising her eyebrows as she did. "If you want to."

"Yes...it's funny, sometimes. I don't find much humor in this mess. I wish I could rewind the whole thing. We could put things to the way they were." She sighed, crossing her arms.

"Anyway, aside from coming here to make sure your fight was going well, I wanted to tell you know that I'm leaving for a while. With what has happened I want to get away from the things I've done and created. I wanted you to know that the kids are at the tree with Demitros. I haven't seen Demitros since Legion was here, but I'm sure you'll figure out how to get to Machilles and Rydia."

Her hand came down and slid gently over his hair. It was an innocent touch, one she couldn't resist. It'd be the last time she'd feel close to him. Smiling softly, she stepped away. "I do wish you nothing but happiness. I always have. I know Josie will treat you well. Probably better then I ever did."

Peppa simply would stand up off the tree, offering a hand for her to give up. When she would stand up Peppa would simply embrace her with a hug. He hadn't wished her to leave. Hell he hadn't wished to be with anyone right now. He wasn't sure if he was goign to love Josie at all, he wasn't sure of anything.

He was just sure he was going to miss Tru.

It was a innocent hug, yet he wanted to do it. He wanted to hold her one last time before he lost touch with her. Just as he did with everyone, even Josie. Couldn't even stay in touch with his best friends. Everyone left him at one point so he found it easier to say goodbye in a way. Sometimes he wondered if it was a sign for Peppa.

I'm sorry Tru. Nothing has been done that can't be taken away yet but I don't blame you for wanting to go away. I partly wish to simply get away from everything....including Josie sometimes. I don't know what I want anymore. Yet I still wish the same for you Tru, happiness that is.

Smiling, he would let go of her before scratching the back of his head. Normally he would produce some kind of memorial gift for a friend or somethign except he wondered if it was proper for him to do so. He didn't know, Peppa was already probably being improper by giving her such a close hug and saying these things.

He chose not too.

190Tru Punky

Tru stood and felt Peppa's arms wrap around her. She stepped into his embrace and laced her arms around his neck, holding him tightly. She was reluctant to let him go. She kissed his cheek softly and whispered into his ear. "I'm sorry for all this, Peppa. I find it hard to leave you, but it's for the best.. Call on me if you ever need me and I'll be here."

She forced a smiled and took a step away from him as he let her go. "Take care of the children for me." But she knew he would. He was a good man. She turned away from him and headed back into the woods.

Kichiro Oda Wrote:

...his left foot would drop back into a slant so his right side was forward.

The jab heading for Kichiro's head, however, was a bit more tricky than that.

Matthew would need only a little more than a foot between them to block the left wrist. As mentioned earlier, Kichiro's right side was his forward. That meant the hilt of the sword being drawn with his left hand was at the right side. Matthew's right arm wou'd not have to extend a little more then a foot to stop the sword at the wrist instead of less than. This was especially so since Kichiro reacted to Matthew's dash, which had the blade a bit further out than Matthew would have suspected.

With Kichiro's right side being forward, the right arm holding the wakizashi was not in the best position for the attacking angle it was coming from. Since there would be just a little more than a foot between them, Kichiro's right arm and wrist would have to bend at quite an odd angle to bring the blade around for a strike to Matthew's chest. However, this was assuming the blade was coming in from the right's of Matthew's chest. He could have been pulling it into a reverse grip in a way that would go across Matthew's chest from the left. ((Which would still be a bit difficult, considering how his right hand would be drawing from the left side, which was further back.)) But what was Matthew to do if the blade was going to dig into him from Matthew's left?

That was where Matthew's draw had come in.

By the way Matthew drew his blade for the strike to the head, a wakizashi "strike" (since it was just being put into reverse) coming from Matthew's right would be blocked around the wrist or forearm with the underside of the blade, since the length of his right arm would be too long for a normal draw, and to bend it closer in order to get in the strike would be too stiff and require wrist movement to use as an attack, which would not go in a far enough arc unless his wrist could twist further than normal. The curve of the blade would move along the top of the forearm or wrist so that hopefully the handle strike would connect.

If it was coming from Matthew's left, however, the blade would meet with and clash against the "dull" side of Matthew's sword. Since it would be aimed towards the chest without the strength of an actual strike, it would move along the underside curve of Matthew's sword, just enough to get the strike through.

Kichiro Oda Wrote:

...it would happen with Kichiro rotating his own hips with a counter force and pressing back with the now reversly held blade, sticking into Mathew's chest while headbutting the hilt of the jabbing sword back down to the sheath.

Thus, if Matthew did manage to get the jab in, the force combined with how Kichiro's head would be moving forward with the headbutt would cause it to make contact with the bridge of the nose instead of the underside, which was originally targeted. The force coming from both sides against such a target would result in a pretty devastating nose break, depending upon whether or not Kichiro still went forward with the headbutt, or if the strike even reached his head at all. The force being exerted on his wakizashi arm would go with the curve of his blade just enough for the sword to pass over, as mentioned earlier.

Kichiro Oda Wrote:

That meant Mathew would be withdrawing his blade for the hilt punch underneath the wakazashi now stuck in him.

Not quite.

Matthew was shorter than Kichiro, and since he was aiming for the nose, he would be pulling his sword up higher. Kichiro's arm, in order to have the wakizashi coming for Matthew's chest, would have to be lower than the one Matthew was using. Otherwise, their actions would simply result in Matthew's left-handed hilt strike and Kichiro's right arm clashing with eachother, leaving them temporarily deadlocked.

But whether his attack made contact or they were simply deadlocked, Matthew would swiftly shuffle his right foot back at the moment their strength locked together, or the moment the strike would stun Kichiro, whichever actually happened. Matthew would then push off, breaking the lock and releasing the force. Matthew would bring his left leg back as he pushed off, and using the strength of their impact, the speed would make it such so that the released force of Kichiro's katana would cause it to cut into Matthew's left thigh, leaving a gash about three quarters of an inch thick that would bleed quite visibly. The blade would also cut the fabric of his right thigh, causing a small scratch that would bleed as well. The outward-moving force of the wakizashi, however, would simply scratch against the underside of his drawn blade...yet oddly without causing any sparks to fly.

Suffice to say, the push off would break the momentum of both their dashes, giving Matthew enough time to take the rest of the hilt in Matthew's right hand and bring his left hand down across the length of the blade so he could push against the sheath and draw the rest of the sword out, holding it in front of him horizontally while his left hand was held against the back of the sword.

Of course, how could he have made such a move along his blade without cutting himself? That's when the blade's lack of sparks or shine would become apparrent...

The sword he weilded was not a blade. It was a bokken...a wooden sword.

Tenkashiwa Wrote:

A bokken carved from the wood of a 2000-year-old tree from the sacred forests of Mt. Kurama. It's about as strong and as sturdy as if it was made out of solid steel, yet its bluntness allows Matthew to use it in order to fight minimal fatal attacks.

Of course, being made out of wood, the blade still weighed like a bokken, though in this case about as much as a normal katana. As such, its impact wouldn't be as if he was striking with a thick bar of metal, yet strong enough when used correctly. Matthew would wince in pain from the previous attack as he watched Kichiro's moves, staying at the ready.

Coming from Matthew's right, it would be rotating into a reverse hold. It came out from the sheathe, rotating in Kichiro's wrist as to come to his forearm. With Matthew's strike coming out at Kichiro's nose, his own wakazashi blade would be at a slanted angle out from his sheath to Kichiro's head.

The rotating blade would not slash Mathew's chest, it would become stuck in it as the tip was drove inwards in between his blade and his chest. It was a thrust with a coldsteel blade that wasn't intendeded to be a thrust, but Mattew's rotation into it would cause it to be so.

It was a headbutt, and last time we checked, headbutts were done with the forehead and not the nose. Kichiro saw well enough that there wasn't enough room for Matthew to get in any proper strike with that wakazashi, so he reacted on instinct to put his blade back from between them. That headbutt meant Kichiro's head tilted downwards, so it never came to his nose. Instead, it came to the full weight of his body punching the blade back to where it came from with Kichiro's forehead.

Except that the wakazashi was rotating around Matthew's left-handed hilt strike and being thrusted into Matthew's chest at the end of a dash, not to be met in any sort of deadlock. In fact, with Kichiro's wakazashi inbetween his own wooden sword and his chest, it would be difficult to be still holding onto that blade and backing up. Not to mention, the excrusiating pain of having a coldsteel blade thrusted into you. There was also that liquid silver that was meant to burn through armor, possibly burning through worse and more vital tihngs inside.

With Kichiro's own blade being between his chest and wooden sword, Matthew would have to either have had his own blade shot back down to the sheathe, or pulled it over the wakazashi sticking into his chest. If Matthew went with the latter, more of the blade would drive into his chest cavity with Kichiro rotating back into the man. Also, with it being in the reverse hold, it'd give Kichiro more power to s**t into Matthew's chest during the rotation.

However, it is easy to assume he just let the blade get hit back down after getting stuck in the chest so could back up quite freely.

Matthew a.k.a. Shinimusha Wrote:

Kichiro Oda Wrote:

On the balls of his feet he moved in a shuffle step, with left being behind the right.

Kichiro had never dashed, and was still moving off the fluid step he had been in before. He'd still be seeing double from punching a hilt jab with his forehead, but that wouldn't stop him from persuing his oppenant. As said before, when Kichiro expected Matthew to back up, Kichiro would advance.

Kichiro had been a shinobi, they fight in pitch black.

What have they need for vision?

The sound of breathing, the vibrations, the smell, all of it painted a picture clearer in Kichiro's mind then eyesight could ever give. That also meant his reaction time would speed up, adrenaline from sudden burst of pain and close encounter of blades, the mind not relying on interpreting all the background information that eyesight typically gave, and the instincts of fighting with such weapons for such a long time coming into mainstream actions.

Kichiro shuffled foward, not waiting for his oppenant to withdraw his blade. He carried the momentum of his katana's slash back at Mathew's right knee, with his wakazashi coming forward with Kichiro's elbow. The blade extended from Kichiro's elbow would make to strike Matthew's left shoulder.

With blade coming in low and high, Kichiro's chest and abdomen was wide open...

This still didn't account for Kichiro's right side being pointed forward. As such, Matthew was not very close for the blade to stab into his body that much. Added to that, the cross between his bokken and Kichiro's right arm, be it over or under, would still provide enough grounds to push off against. As such, rather than receeding the blade, the force of his strike would match Kichiro's headbutt. Matthew may have been human, but even to a Chimagin, he was far from weak. Especially with such a direct strike using a metal hilt end. Not to mention that the hip motion used for the strike was with his left, and with part of his bokken pushing against Kichiro's arm, he would be able to pull himself out of the stab.

Suffice to say, the temporary stun that would be caused by the headbutt strike would allow Matthew enough time to back up and prepare himself by drawing his sword fully to the stance previously stated. In order for Kichiro's senses to still be completely functional after ramming his head into an attack designed for the head, Kichiro would have had to not put that much power into the headbutt.

Still, Matthew would be there, standing as Kichiro went forward for his next attack, havig sustained a gash to his left thigh, a smaller cut to his right, and a stab to the right side of his chest. Silver nitrate was a powerful anti-regeneration agent, but that was not because it could be use to cauterize wounds in some forms. If Matthew had been undead or some form of creature allergic to silver, it would really be bad for him. Although, Silver nitrate, however, was toxic. Ingesting at least 2 grams of it could be fatal, even for a human.

Aside from that, The amount would have to be too little, for in order to put more into him from a small stab would need too much running along the blade channel for it to actually stay upon the blade. In short, the wound would sting badly and bleed for now, but he would be able to recover after the battle was over. If enough of the nitrate from the wound got into his bloodstream too fast, he'd be feeling sick after the battle. It would have been much sooner had Matthew been a normal human.

Matthew knew that a weapon such as this would be pretty effective against specific supernatural beings, though. It seemed as if Kichiro was living up to what Matthew heard of him, as a protector of humans against dark forces. Much like Matthew himself.

((For the sake of simplicity, I'm having this be the result of the attacks, and the basic understood premises for my next action. Hopefully we can leave it at that so that we can get this going faster x_X))

Matthew would wait for Kichiro's attack to come in. He had tried moving into his attack before to make his move, and it was to no avail. This time, he'd try what he should have done originally.

Move with the flow of attack.

He had seen this before. Kichiro was setting him up. It was common for martial artists to bait opponents with easy openings, like the one Kichiro would have. Of course, the only thing that would really be open was Kichiro's abdomen. Kichiro would have to slash lower in order to reach Matthew's shoulder since he was shorter, so Kichiro's chest was secure.

But Matthew wouldn't go for a frontal attack this time.

As Kichiro went in, Matthew would step out of his line of attack. That would mean he would shift to the left with his left leg and back out to the side with his right, which would bring his right leg out of the line of Kichiro's knee-cutting left handed katana slash.

At the same time, he'd bring the bokken under the incoming wakizashi slash, with his left hand under the "blunt" edge of the bokken, pushing up on it slightly on impact before bringing his left hand back down swiftly. Matthew would turn the bokken upward with his right hand as it went under and along the wakizashi so that it would move over his shoulder and his head, cutting a lock of his hair as it passed by. He'd use the turning motion of his right hand and the curve of the bokken to have the wakizashi glide along the curve and into a parry, as Matthew would move to Kichiro's right side, clear of the attack.

As that happened, the left hand which dropped down to his left side would grasp the second sword, the one with the black tsukagashira, pushing the sheathed sword a bit further behind his hip as the wakizashi would glide along the parrying bokken. Once the parry was done and Matthew was clear, he'd pull on the blade with an underhanded draw, with a finely-crafted blade flying from it's sheath. This sword was real, and it was heading for a strike to Kichiro's back to the right side as he passed by with the parry.

With the forward momentum of the inward movement with Kichiro's horizontal attacks from high and low, combined with the clockwise motion from Matthew's step to the side, he would be out of the line of attack and counterattacking along with it. And with this following the parry with his bokken, it'd hopefully seal the deal, even with such a careful maneuver as Kichiro's shuffle step.

Matthew's original clashing may have been best for the set up, but trying the same thing twice would probably get Matthew cut into pieces. Just like the lessons from the works of Musashi, he was moving fluidly with the current of battle, as if they were in water.

The slash to Kichiro's side would go in from the back and out the side of his abdomen. It would not be enough to be fatal, but it would probably draw enough blood from the strike to splatter against the side of Matthew's face. That was not to say blood wasn't already leaking against Matthew's yukata in the strike to his left leg and chest. As such, Kichiro's wound would probably not be enough to keep him from continuing either. The battle seemed to be quite a violent one thus far...

...and the best battle in his entire life.

And like any good and trained fighter, Kichiro would shift his hips to square away and follow Matthew in step. He'd been fluid and loose with the shuffle step, instead of charging or dashing for a reason. Kichiro's left foot would slide left and his hips would move clockwise while shoulders moved counter clockwise for counter balance and strength behind the wakazashi. That meant his katana blade would follow Matthew's knees, towards the right one with even less room to dodge, with the guy getting even more in range to the three foot blade. Sure, there wasn't a lot of force behind the one handed slash with shoulders going the wrong way, but mythril was sharp enough not to need a lot of force.

Kichiro merely continued the momentum of the previous slash, keeping his arm from tiring out. Though his head was ringing from the headbutt, and he couldn't be too sure about where Matthew's legs had gone. It was more of a...

"Hey, the legs aren't where they are supposed to be, but I feel something against my sword... that way!"

kinda manuever. His head was screaming with directions, but only instinct being listened too.

Kichiro's wakazashi was held reversely, meaning it had Kichiro's forearm right against it. It also had some blood dripping off its tip from where it had stuck into Matthew.

Blood dripped off that tip onto Matthew as their blades clashed, with Kichiro pulling his right hand down and in against it. With his forearm and the strength of rotation in his body, he'd press that bokken right into Matthew's face if he could, drawing the blade curviture against curviture downwards. Since they were squared off in seconds, it wasn't like Kichiro was simply going to let go of his sword and have it go flying over Matthew's head.

It was the half foot part of the blade going to slash into Matthew's shoulder anyway, so the most of it had Kichiro's entire body behind it. And Mathew would have had to move his right hand pretty far to get it blocking his left shoulder.

With the bokken being controlled by two hands though, Matthew would be able to keep that wakazashi from going into his shoulder. More importantly, the rest of the blade from following suit into his upper chest and possibly neck.

Matthew a.k.a. Shinimusha Wrote:

Well, since that happened during the attempted parry, that meant Matthew would suddenly not have both hands on that bokken and holding Kichiro's blade back. Considering it was going against Kichiro's forearm with the slashing part being only 1/3 of the blade length, the rest of it would slide right off the bokken towards Matthew.

Kichiro's right hand would suddenly have a burst of movement as the strength deadlocking it was halved, bringing the hilt and Kichiro's fist around it into the dead middle of Matthew's face with the blade rotating on Matthew's bokken like a teeter totter on a pivot. Right about the nose. The blade itself would come dangerously close into the right on Matthew's cheek, likely drawing some more blood as the blade went by on the bokken blocking the left shoulder.

Why the middle of Matthew's nose?

Kichiro's head was still ringing of course! He wasn't going to aim for the side of Matthew's face when he might be seeing some blurred double image. The middle was the safest spot, and it was the easiest to get too with Kichiro's vantage point.

Well, Matthew hadn't had a clear and easy parry by any sorts. His face was nearly sliced in two, but if he went with the underhanded draw anyways, the following would happen.

Kichiro's katana would finish off what strength Matthew had in those legs of his, because the Chimagin had simply not let Matthew walk by him. The shuffle step was intended to change mid-direction, used by Frence Fencers and learned at Lu Bu from Sieg, so Kichiro had moved to face him.

Matthew would be attempting to press back against a blade while the katana in motion came at his knees. With katana going right and wakazashi going left, acting as counter balances to keep Kichiro centered.

Also, that underhanded draw would not be able to get to Kichiro's back with the Chimagin rotating to square off again. The best it'd do is strike the right of Kichiro's abdomen with a loud...

KACCHING!!

Because it impacted with shaolin darts dragonscalled along Kichiro's chest and front. They were more weapons, but they also acted as hidden armor blended with Kichiro's black clothing.

The slash to Kichiro's side would leave a nice welt, and probably a bruise, but no blood was splattering.

Wait, what's that taste?

"Pteeewy! Yuck!"

Kichiro spit a bunch of blood at Matthew's face, as that was where he was looking. It'd risen from being jarred in the head so hard, and Kichiro's legs were going abit wobbly as the adrenaline from the initial impact had started to leave.

That mommentary wobbling in his legs, would show why the katana slash meant to follow Matthew's legs and take them off at the knees, would stop as it hit Matthew's right leg, for the force of bone against blade would require some strength that the headbutt was just now tapping away from.

"Sorry about this."

That meant his katana would be falling away, left hand already at the hip and free, grabbing something more hidden. A tanto hilt sticking out from behind his left hip, impossible to see against the overcoat. Kichiro's left hand gripped the hilt, blade tipped in vorpal, and shoved the blade into Matthew's gut as the man would likely be pulling away from the wakazashi pressed against his bokken and away from the katana's taking out his legs.

It was a damn good fight, for Kichiro to stick a man in the gut with what was equivalent to a knife.

Well, the last of the judging is done, and the scores are in and averaged out. Obviously there is going to be a lot of bitching, but its only expected when testosterone is flaring up in unbelievable levels.

Points are awarded in 4 categories, each part is worth 5 points. On a rating scale of 1-5 for each category.

  1. Did they break any rules?
  1. How long did it take them to post?
  1. Were they creative?
  1. Could you tell what they were doing? Also being were they able to describe their moves clearly?

So winning is not about beating the living crap out of someone, but rather RPing as a whole. Though of course, winning a round does provide bonus points, and contrary to that, arguements result in deduction of points.
