AEKEA TOWERING FRAMEWORK

High-stake battle on the framework of a skyscraper. Dont look down as you're suspended fourty dtories above ground.

Terrain

General - Naked steel beams provide the fighting surface of this stage, extremely limiting movements to be purely linear. Several stories below is a giant net to ensure those who fall do not die.

Weapons - None.

Bonus Effects - Falling off the skyscraper counts as a ringout.

2Samuel LaCroix

Samuel put either hand in his pocket. He was intending to get sloshed at the information he'd lost his previous fight. C'est la vie- He'd been fully charged and healed in the three days. But with expert medical staff and an electrical supply that would make Thomas Edison blush. Flexing his left hand and doing the closest he could with his right hand- Letting off steam and churning the M.H.D.Cs. He rode the lift up, he'd like to see the damn media get up here at the top of the world.

Grim as his expression was at the fact his team had lost the fight- For which he blamed Michael. And to some extent Katsu. Damned katsu. He still managed to break into a smile. This meant... They had far less competition. The loser's bracket was sure to be filled with horrible fighting teams. It would be no contest at all until they rose to the very top. Fun, fun. Mindless slaughter. He pondered if he cauterized ripping off a limb before it bled out would work...

Reaching the arena-level he hopped across the numerous beams. "Alright then... Time to wait for the other team." He noted. There were still a lot of flashes of light from the ground below. How disturbing that his team-- Or rather the other team still caught that much attention. Both teams being the losers so far. Incredible how starved for entertainment the nation is...

Foot steps could be seen in the dirt-layden ground that the skeletal skyscraper stood upon. Three seperate prints were instilled in the dirt and dust. They belonged to Linken, Samuel, and Katsu, all of which wore totally different types of shoes. It goes to show that it truly takes opposites to make a good team. Or perhaps that could be argued. He was on his way up the lift with his team mates. They were headed straight to the arena labeled floor, where they imagined it would be the best to start off the fight. "Reminds me of that Donkey Kong game..." Linken spoke, a grin sparking light upon his cross-armed posture which would hint twords anger. He was disapointed to understand that his team had lost their first fight, especially considering he himself never even got to fight.

"I wonder if there will be barrels aswell." His humor was old and rather un-comedic. It was still morning however, and this could mean that he had just woken up. Perhaps his mind was rusty, as were his joints. He took a moment to survey his arena. A moment was all he would need to devise a strategy for his fight. "Give me second fight Sam. I need a few moments to reflect upon our loss."

4Samuel LaCroix

Linken sure was right. Adidas, Nike and Reebok. It's like they were some sort of hate machine. A machine made of pure hate or a machine that manufactures it? Noone knows, highlandah. Noone knows.

Ending his esoteric tangent as soon as he could before he went on about pinholes in the sky he shouted out "H'OKAI!" He was apparently a few too far beams out, because it sounded like he was talking normally. But gosh n' golly was he having a ball simply jumping around and swinging on the I-beams like monkey bars until his teammates would arrive. If not, that may or may not count as a free advancement. Which would be awwwwwriiight.

5Streea Barra

Michael stood on the edge of the town, the wind blowing back his dirty hair, and his somehow clean tie. His previous fight was only a few days before, and he had suffered some serious injuries, but not a scar was on his white skin. His job came with some nice health plans. In any case, Michael's current plan was to get the hell out of this town. How he was ever convinced to be here, he couldn't remember. Alcohol was probably involved. But the past was gone and all that lay before him was the future. So he took his first step of freedom out of this tournament crap.

Unfortunately, half an hour later, and past a bend, he started to notice three pairs of footprints in the ground. By the looks of it, from some crappy mass producing manufacturer. His designer shoes nearly wept in shame at the sight of them. Though Michael was curious. And so he followed.

Followed those damnig footprints right up to the scaffolding. He stared in disbelief at his team mates. "" Michael didn't even know how this could have happened. But it did. so obviously, he was meant to be here. God damnit. He might as well join his assholes in any case.

So he walked up behind them, pale face nearly shining in the sunlight. He really should get his skin checked some time, because that could not be healthy. Apparently his team had lost. He couldn't care less, all Michael cared about was that he had somewhere to sleep for the end of the day.

"Alright dickweeds. I don't know why but the Almighty demands I be here, so, god damnit make it worth my time. Who are we fighting. When are we fighting. Am I fighting. When do I get a smoke."

6Kozmic Kat

Katsu was a little late to say anything, his mind had been adrift. His thoughts encompassed his whole concentration. Katsu thought about women, how he had yet to find a mate suitable for a demon of his stature. Oh sure, there were harlots, there were his servants in his mansion, but there was yet to be a female he cared for. His father, had always said "Pick a good cat demon girl! They're great in bed." Sadly, he never would know the feeling of it, being shut out of his home land to the material realm. It has it's downfalls. He sometimes missed the mindless slaughter, but not by much. He had grown used to his more lawful ideals, he had even become a little neutral to most things. However, with the small amount of homesickness aside, he had made friends, made a place for himself. Sure, it was a half life, without the woman who could make his skin crawl, he loved that sort of thing, he would have to life until it could be fulfilled.

He shook himself out of it, dreams of love could wait for his time off. He stretched his arms, standing next to Linken and Samuel. He saw out of the corner of his eye, Michael walk up. Quite surprising, considering Katsu didn't really expect the man to be moving for a while longer, maybe he had just misinterpreted his power by his lack of showmanship and ability last fight. Katsu pushed the thought aside for now, it wouldn't matter, Michael wouldn't be fighting today.

Katsu cracked his knuckles and his neck while Linken had been making jokes about something, he called it a "Donkey Kong." Which was a bit redundant, and downright impossible, donkeys cannot be apes. Katsu rolled his foot around, the ankle popping, it felt oh so wonderful. He took his fingers, pulling them one by one, they would be nimble now. Katsu did something else then, he got on all fours, and in a very impossible position for anything human to attempt, he pushed his stomach forward, arching his back in the way cats would. His full spine popped, in one long snapping sound, like a line of firecrackers going off during the fourth of July. Katsu rolled back even further, this time becoming more like a ball, the spikes in the back of his poking his butt. He pulled himself back up, slowly standing back up. Katsu took his right leg, and raised it in the air, grabbed it with his right hand, and pulled it up to his chest, while balancing with his left leg; he then switched legs and did it with the other. Finally, Katsu kicked off his shoes, popping his toes, then slipping his feet back in them, he sighed in pleasure.

Katsu, not takeing much time to talk, walked forward a little, his trench coat flowing in the small breeze that brushed across him. He turned, facing the group. "I'll fight first." Was all he needed to say, he would prove his worth, if not to himself, at least to Samuel, who had been quite hard on him, Samuel probably wasn't fond of him. "I'll give you a win." He said, with a subtle grin, but you could tell he wasn't exactly bloodthirsty about it, he simply wanted to win. Which really, was all that mattered.

7Samuel LaCroix

Samuel swung up next to Katsu, staring at him blandly. "..." He said... Nothing at all. His hand went to his chin, stroking his non-beard and twirling his non-moustache. Samuel simply glared, trying not to look at the ground below with all the random flashes and incredibly well zooming cameras. A wee little cat boy doing a manly man's brawl? He thought cat demons were only good in bed. And even then this was a dude- He had no clue why he added him to the team. Samuel briefly smiled for no apparent reason, clenched his fist for the same reason and said "You... Win?" Samuel said, huffing himself up.

He turned around to Linken, who smiled and nodded. And with a large breath, spattering saliva all over Katsu he shouted out "THIS! IS!!! HEAVEN OR HEELLLLLLLLL!!!!!!" Before he reared his mechanical leg up, kicking Katsu down a hole in the framework, in slow motion. Samuel turned his back and coughed into his hand. "Always wanted to do that."

[[ Let it be known that after 4 days, Team Underdog has yet to arrive. ]]

9Linken24

Linken's keen natural senses began to act up. He placed a hand to his ear and directed his head in all directions, taking ten second intervals between changing each direction. "...bee are bee church." He spoke up, backing up a little on to the lift. In a matter of seconds, he would be seen flying off of the framework backwords whilst shouting "POWDEEEEEEERED TOOOOOOAST MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN~"

10Kozmic Kat

Katsu flew back into a random hole that had been conviently placed there, apparently. He gripped at the hole's edge and pulled himself back up. Katsu had an annoyed look on his face, as he grunted. He squatted down, putting his weight on his heels. Katsu scratched the back of his head, coughing a little. He rolled his eyes, not being in his real form was bugging him. He was trying to hide his cat demon roots, by not letting his ears and tail be seen, but he decided it was time he let them loose.

Katsu stood up straight, his eyes pulsating as he growled a very low growl, his arms twitched, his legs wanted to buckle, but he kept them locked. His skin started to burn, and soon skin cells started to change shape, DNA, and color as soon his skin became a humanisque peachy color. His hair perked as his cat like ears sprung from them, takeing a lighter blue color. His back shook as a tail emerged, coming out of the area of his trench coat, flowing a little in the wind.

"Right," he muttered, looking around, that took out quite a bit of energy, it was a good thing no fights were appearing to be happening.
