CATACLYSM CANYON

Precarious rope bridges create a shaky path across the gap between two mesas in Barthavos desert. The wood is a little weather worn, the ropes are a little old, and the sudden gusts of wind that can blow through the canyon are unpredictable and violent. Falling into the canyon counts as a ring out, but collapsing the bridge is a red card.

Terrain

General - The mesas make for difficult footing due to unworked stone, while the rope bridges swing with little effort.

Weapons - None.

Bonus Effects - Getting thrown off the bridge or mesa constitutes a ringout. Do not cut the rope or otherwise collapse the bridges.

2Sunstrike

He was perched on one of the wooden pillars overlooking the canyon, the ones that held the rope bridges in place. One foot was neatly tucked up and keeping him level while the other swung in boredom.

It was a pretty view.

His fighter flickered to the commercial again and he tapped the side of it gently. Strange thing, there'd never been those before. Wind ruffled his clothing and made the bridge creak. It should have been warm enough to be comfortable, but the air made that impossible.

Sun sighed and shifted in impatience. Teira was curled up in his jacket, resting at the base of the pole, drinking tea from a thermos, she'd complained of cold.

Silly, shouldn't have come out here... But nothing would keep the captain from watching. So there they were, first to arrive. Wulf and Silver should have been along shortly as well...

3Lady Sierra

There wasn't a chance on Gaia's green acre that Teira would miss any more of her teammate's matches than she already had last round. But without any attempts on her life this morning, she'd made it to the canyon, cold but on time.

She wasn't fighting first, but she'd still insisted on being present start to finish. Especially against guys like THESE.

Curled up like a kitten and huddled around the heat of her thermos, she blinked up at Sun as he gazed out over the scenery.

"Pretty place... this round is going to be... tricksy."

She said even as she tucked her chin into the nest of jackets she'd made for herself while they waited.

4Nihilistic_Impact

Blake stood across the other end of the bridge, the wind pulled at his coat tails and tie. It was just a bit out of place for a guy so nicely dressed to be standing out in the open.

"Who the hell comes up with this stuff?"

It was though he was on a movie set for how absurd the fighting area was.

With a shrug of his shoulders he stepped onto the swaying bridge, and did it sway. Each step shifted the whole thing.

"Just don't look down."

Grabbing the rope railing with his right hand he motioned to the other side, pointing seemingly at the person called Sunstrike. Though at the range it would be kind of difficult; but regardless he was calling someone out to fight.

"You and me have some unfinished business."

Hopefully the wind didn't throw the words away with its speed and his words were heard. Regardless though he gave his desired foe the salute he'd given him about a week ago, middle finger raised.

5Sunstrike

"You think so?" There was a kind of deep amusement in Sun's voice. The place held memories for him, heartfelt ones. But this wasn't the place for those kinds of things.

And as the dark figure stepped out and offered a familiar sign in salutations, he dropped off his perch with a crack against the wooden boards, bending, and well near breaking the not so sturdy material.

Had he landed any harder he would have been through.

"..."

Sunstrike grinned, crouched on his end of the bridge, and it wasn't a nice expression.

"Leave some tea for me, Teira, I'll probably need it, 'fore this ends."

Then he raised up, skipping two or three planks and hopping to a stable looking one with another crack, shifting his weight, intentionally causing a few vibrations all along the rickety bridge. He was humming something that sounded suspiciously like "Londons Bridge."

1/17

6Nihilistic_Impact

Well the message was received then and Blake was grinning.

With his right hand still on the railing he made his way closer to the centre of the bridge. The wood blanks while old did seem firm enough beneath his feet but he thought he heard them creak and groan, he did his best to put that out of his mind.

The left hand reached beneath his suit coat, beneath the right arm and began to pull something out. It was about a foot long, made predominately of wood and had a sharpened hunk of metal attached to one end, a hatchet.

Blake hadn't used the weapon so far; but seeing the other guy using what kind of look like a stick from where he was made him desire its use.

It was a shame though, he couldn't carry a tune or he'd be whistling Queen.

7Uberwulf X

Lazenca had arrived, taking in sights of the new area. It was interesting enough, and reminded him of a movie. It begged the question: was the water full of crocs?

He was being a good wulf, seated quietly and watching the match at Sun and Blake jumped right into the fight.

8ragingtofu

"Red hair... female."

That was the description the teenager forcing his way through the crowd had been given. He was here to deliver a very specific message to a very specific person, and he was grumbling the entire time about just how he was possibly expected to find this "Teira" girl.

"First he takes my MP3 player, then he expects me to be his messenger. What kind of a stupid son of a..." he began to grumble before dropping off in mid-sentence.

Red hair... female.

He had managed to force his way to the front of the crowd of onlookers. Frozen Flame's members might do a double-take - a slightly shorter version of Rage with slightly softer features and far fewer scars. He was bundled up well enough for the canyon... probably dressed even more warmly than was really necessary.

He found himself staring at Teira just a moment longer than he meant to.

"Girl like that? Bro must be crazy."

Well, judging the way she was curled around that guy a minute ago, maybe they were an item.

Even so....

"Hey, Teira! Teeeeeiraaaaaaa!"

9Lady Sierra

"Sure thing."

She replied to her teammate, her eyes followed Sun's feet, watching the bridge sway under his weight... watching the odd plank crack in two and fall away, leaving gaps. She shivered a moment as Sun strode out to meet his opponent.

'Something is different--- What's wrong Sun? Don't be too reckless...'

Her thoughts were interrupted as someone called her name.

Turning to look over her shoulder, golden eyes peeked out over the tops of her coat nest and settled on Rage? Noo---?

"Huh?"

She pulled to her feet, Sun's coat draped around her over top of her own coat. Finishing the cup of tea she had in a quick gulp. Her boots crunched against the snow covered ground.

"Mini Rage?"

She said with a grin.

10Silver Alexander

Silver came muscling his way through the crowd, shoving past the guy looking for Teira as he exited it.

"Watch it, squirt."

He didn't stop as he passed Teira on the way to their team's side, but spoke as he put his hands in his jacket pockets and strode by.

"Sorry I'm late. I forgot I left my bike in Aekea."

He stopped next to Laz, glancing about at the setting and the fight already in progress with a smirk.

"So, Sun actually stepped up to these guys first? They musta ruffled his feathers pretty bad. I was beginning to think he was gonna sit the whole year out after the first round..."

11ragingtofu

The green-haired boy's eyelids lowered slightly as if to say uh-huh. Apparently it wasn't the first time he had heard this sort of thing, but he quickly managed to shrug it off. He was only about two inches shorter than his brother, but the resemblance was striking, to say the least.

He kept his eyes from wandering too much as Teira walked over towards him, giving a friendly wave.

"I'm Rage's brother... Axel. It's, um, nice to meet you," he said, holding out his hand for her to take. Unlike his elder he had a few more points in mannerisms and etiquette, and he could only hope it showed, even if he was stammering slightly, trying to pass it off as a side-effect of the chilly air.

He was SUPPOSED to be here delivering a message, but somehow that reason had been lost at the moment....

"Oof!

"Hey, watch it, punk!"

He didn't know anything about the other members of Frozen Flame - just the one that Rage had described to him, which was why he thought it was some pushy jerkwad and not a member of the team.

12Uberwulf X

"Yeah," Lazenca said while yawning and getting up just enough to turn around. "Those two saw each other and jumped right into it with no more than a 'you, get down here' sorta thing."

After settling in a new position, he was very clearly staring at... not-quite-Rage. "It's what I would've expected between you and he-who-must-not-be-named."

13Sunstrike

"Tch..."

Sun lightened up on the planks and moved straight into the other figure on the bridge. It was a low blow, a tackle really, shoulder to sternum, as soon as his opponent got a grip on the ropes and the axe. It was more of an off putting move then any real threat, a test of the other guy's meddle out on a platform that was more then a little unstable.

He was fighting with a lot of faith. Faith in his natural balance, the integrity of the bridge, and the fact that maybe the two could work together. He wouldn't hesitate over the removal of the weapon, time was simply not on his side. The bridge wasn't made for that.

Given half the chance, he'd use the force of hitting a probably immobile being as a spring backwards, pushing off and following the swing of the bridge enough to land and grab hold at the top of it's arc in the opposite direction, like you would lean on a boat in a rough sea.

He used the ropes like the side of a ring to absorb the force, and could feel the fibre straining against his weight.

At the tie's along the edges of the canyon the sound would be a little more alarming, making the ropes smoke and sputter a little as they ground deep into their stabilizers.

Dangerous games.

2/17

14Nihilistic_Impact

Blake hadn't expected to be attacked so right out; but at the same time he couldn't think of it as anything as an advantage for him.

Why, some might ask. Well it's a rather difficult thing to hold a hatchet beneath your coat without it having some support. In Blake's case that support came from a little loop that forced him to pull the tool upwards and sense he was pulling from across his body his left elbow was bent.

So there was a shoulder tackle that would jar Blake and force him backwards, though he dared not shift his feet. The only thing keeping him from falling was a death grip on the rope.

At the same time though Sun would be ramming his head, either his temple or straight on forehead, right into Blake's bent arm and the hard bone.

Simplest elbow strike Blake had ever done and all the momentum would be caused by Sun. His weapon was still beneath his coat and fingers curled about the head of it.

-2-

15Sunstrike

Nasty.

Sun saw stars as the bone cracked him in the face, immobile object indeed, and then, it wasn't just the fact that he'd made contact with Blake that sent the redhead back into the ropes, half dazed.

Pick it up, try again.

His fingers curled around the ropes as it began to swing the other way violently, brought on by his not so graceful collide. It was like those pirate ship rides in amusement parks.

Yanking his legs up, he'd kick outwards and slightly blind towards the other man, aiming for the legs or whatever would come into range as the bridge swung upwards moving both men like ragdolls. Being the right side of six foot, his frame would stretch enough to cover the gap between the two. The bridge being about two people wide...two thin people anyway.

More popping and straining sounds echoed off the canyon, and Sun felt a bit more give to his support then he was comfortable with. Hell... The nearest full bridge was nearly 5 yards away in either direction, though, much further down, there were a few below, would that still count as a ring out? He didn't really want to take that chance.

There would be gasps as the viewers lined up along the barricades, trying to see against the sunlight and wind, what the two were trying to accomplish.

3/17

16Nihilistic_Impact

Blake being forced back swayed a little on his feet. Then something interesting happened.

It was almost exactly like the video he had watched of his first and only fight, except he was standing in the wrong position. The man was trying to donkey kick him. What nerve that pointy eared freak had.

By now he had his hatchet out; but his fingers were still clasped around the head and so it wasn't as though he could swing it.

Throw in the fact that contact was being made into his lower legs to force him off balance and things just were not looking all that good.

Only one thing to do now, attack!

Still holding onto the rope his legs were kicked out from beneath him, and he leaned his body forward so he didn't fall on his knees and right on through the bridge. But his mind wasn't thinking about that, only increasing his reach as he swung his left arm in a up down, right to left slash.

Hopefully the mass and the reach of his six foot four inches frame could cause his attack to strike along the upper thighs, or even the gut were he so lucky.

If he did strike he'd probably lament after the fact how his hand had held the head in such a way that the edge could not bite flesh.

But there was no time for that because he landed with a thud on the bridge and heard the disturbing sound of wood cracking.

-3-

17Sunstrike

The bridge was about to make it's swing back Blake's way, and the man had chosen to strike!

Sun felt the pain along his side as the metal slammed into bone, but it was an awkward hit at best, a shot in the dark.

Instead of flinching with the pain, he grabbed at it's source, palm against the top of the axe, and shoved downwards, letting go of the rope and ending up throwing all of his weight against the top of the weapon with the swing of the platform, hoping to clip or hit the other man's jaw with the end of the handle.

The way the bridge was going, Sun would be perilously close to falling off, his feet square on the ropes to either side of Blake's head, both hands against the metal of the axehead and the other man's hand.

Balance! At this rate, he was losing grip on what should have been acceptable for the constraints of this ring.

4/17

18Nihilistic_Impact

Just what he needed, a contest of strength. Sun was trying to force his arm back so he'd clip himself with his own weapon. Imagine the indecency of it all, Blake wasn't going to take it.

Let him push; but Blake wasn't going to take such shame.

With his right hand still gripping the ropes he pulled himself up in a lunge that would see Blake shoulder checking Sun in the lower abdomen. If only he could have gotten a better purchase on the bridge and had more force behind it.

The left hand was forced beneath the head but Blake still ended up throwing himself against his own hand which would end up pressed against his chest. Back of the hand against his tie.

And was that a plank that had given way behind him?

-4-

19Sunstrike

"OOF!"

Sun was down and the bridge splintered and cracked beneath his body. The heftier man checked him good, causing all the air to escape his lungs and splinters dig deep into his lower back. It actually made the bridge stop swinging for just a moment, even with the wind.

The effects rippled down the platform, snapping a few more of the boards just from the strain. He could feel air against his back, and falling was suddenly far more reality then he'd originally expected.

Growling to get his breath back he'd reach down and dig his nails and fingers straight into the softer places of the other man's face, looking to yank the other up enough so he could pull one knee to freedom by way of Blakes jaw.

5/17

20Nihilistic_Impact

Yeah, that was hurting.

Blake wasn't taking too kindly to having his face clawed up by seemingly manicured nails. It was too insulting for his hansom face to be scratched, why what if there was a scar?

This was clearly a circumstance of an eye for an eye.

So with Sun scratching his face Blake returned the favour with a quick strike of his left hand to hit Sun right in the groin with the mass of the axe head. There wasn't much room for a full swing; but a sudden jolt can sometimes hurt worse then the longest wind up. Hopefully this would have been one of those times.

A shame it was the flat edge once more.

Still though doing this without moving his legs would have left him off balance so his legs were scrambling to get directly beneath his centre of gravity. Didn't want too much strain on his right arm.

-5-

21Sunstrike

Sun had been attempting to yank his leg up as Blake moved, so it was sheer luck, or deeply unfortunate that his manhood was missed and his kneecap got a handful of metal before it could reach the scratched face of his opponent.

His teeth clicked together at the crunch. that had been far too close, yet was still a b*****d. Eye for an eye, huh...

Sun waited for Blake to get a little further under himself, clutching his aching knee instead of the other man's face, before throwing both arms back to the edges of the hole his body had created, and yanking his other leg up, planting a metal clad foot into the opposite kneecap with everything that he had, half screaming as it wrenched his already wounded knee.

"SONOFABITCH!" The curse was more about the pain then his opponent.

6/17

22Silver Alexander

Silver winced, the sound of one of his best friends in agonizing being deeply unsettling. Just seeing it made his knee hurt.

Damnit... hold on, Sun.

He took a step forward, but didn't get much further.

"s**t... how the hell are we supposed to striker on that thing? It already looks like it barely supports them. And I can't even use any of my moves or the whole thing will go up."

He turned back to look at Laz.

"Any ideas? We gotta do something."

23Nihilistic_Impact

"********!"

His left knee, his ******** left knee that had been hit by a guitar days before was the subject to pain once more. The knee bent and Blake's balance faltered as the board beneath his left foot began to give a little.

Tit for tat and all that.

From the knee Blake pulled his arm back, of course then he was kicked which caused a reflex of sorts. Not your normal hit the knee the leg rises; but a hurt me and I'm hitting you.

Blake's arm swung upwards this time in an attempt to catch Sun in the neck with the back of the axe head. When was he going to get a proper grip?

-6-

24Show me the CarFox

Fox wasn't rooting for Blake, but he was there, to make Blake feel better.[/i]

25Sunstrike

Sunstrike grinned again.

"Temper, temp-HCK" And Blake popped him hard with the back of the axe to the neck and jaw, up and across, cutting him off mid-taunt. Stars exploded in his vision and blood exploded from his mouth, leaving him panting.

He cursed himself for getting distracted and for being a twice over fool for doing so. He lashed out again, this time with a closed fist to Blakes right side, aiming for a kidney, but mostly praying for any contact at all, the stupid spots wouldn't go away.

7/17

26Nihilistic_Impact

Blake was finding himself in a good position, at least that's how he saw it. Good enough to let go of the railing with his other hand and throw himself at Sun, while they dangled on a breaking bridge high above sand dunes.

Maybe a little gamble was needed.

With the axe head still pressed against Sun's neck Blake forced his body closer. Wrapping his right arm around Sun's body, beneath his left arm.

And then would come the punch to his side and it only proved to annoy Blake who had taken many a blows in his side in his boxing days. Of course they usually had mitts on so there wasn't so much damage so this one would prove more harmful then two similar strikes while wearing gloves.

Then their bodies collided as Blake clung, hopefully forcing Sun onto his back.

-7-

27Sunstrike

"H-hey!"

Sun gritted his teeth, windpipe all but cut off, and yanked his mettallic leg up between the two of them again, foot bending alarmingly as all the weight came down, keeping at least that distance between the two bodies, but otherwise just contributing to the stalemate.

The boards creaked alarmingly and he could feel a draft all down his back as deeper wounds became worse with splinters.

I'm gonna fall at this rate. He let Blake get a grip around his torso, under the left arm, then half curled his fingers and gave the big guy a good pop to the bottom of the nose right where his palm met the rest of his arm. In the event the head went up, the same would be done to the adam's apple in another rapid half punch.

"Let. ME. UP!" Gritted teeth. He could have at least asked Sun for a first date before trying to get this far.

8/10

28Nihilistic_Impact

Blake ended up falling on a shin, which wasn't so bad but it did press uncomfortably against his body. Good thing it wasn't a knee or that would have really hurt.

Then he just had to get hit in the face twice, throwing Blake's head to the side. The inside of his cheek was being shredded as the hard bone of the palm slammed against his flesh and ground it against his teeth. Already he was spitting blood. At least there wasn't a tooth loose yet.

He had already gambled on something and he wasn't going to stop. Blake kept the weight and all his strength in his left arm keeping the weapon pressed across Sun's windpipe.

If only the b*****d would choke.

-8-

29Lady Sierra

Teira's wings ruffled in the chill winter air as she glanced over her shoulder watching the fight unfold, then back to Axel.

"Pleasure to meet you Axel! I'm Teira, but uh... I guess you already knew that heh. What brings you up here? Shouldn't you be cheering for your broth--"

She was cut off as Silver pushed through.

"That's fine but-- DON'T BE SO RUDE, JERK!"

Yeah... she was still mad at him. Silver had developed an attitude out of seemingly nowhere and it was pissing her off. What gave him the right to be such an a** to his friends, let alone people he didn't know, who had never done anything to him.

"Psh. Sorry about that, he's been in a bad mood for days now. Why don't you come sit with us? I need to watch the fight, but we can chat there."

She would head back to where her team was standing.

Anger was building within her as she watched Blake and Sunstrike trade blows.

Every time Blake struck her teammate, the rage that she felt fueled something roaring to life within her. Her desire swelled, growing with each brutal hit.

When Blake struck for the groin Teira hissed angrily. There were rules about that! But he missed-- instead the pain she heard in her friends voice enraged her.

They didn't relent--- and the desire to see the man who was causing someone she cared about, only grew in intensity.

She was on her feet---

30Lady Sierra

She took to the air and pumped her wings as she caught an updraft. Raising her FIGHTER in front of her, her fingers keyed in the system alert.

FROZEN FLAME - TEIRA - OFFENSIVE STRIKER

She darted in, folding her wings tight against her back, she bee-lined it for her target. Free falling and picking up speed, she would dive bomb behind Blake, head first. On such a stage as this, there was nowhere to run. No way to roll out of reach.

Her wings opened---

'I've had enough of these guys already! They're---'

Near silent, the roar of the wind would drown out the sound of air flowing over her feathers and the flap of her coat. Hands grabbed the back of his clothes/jacket and jerked him backwards. Her tail would lash out, wrapping around Blake's neck as he strained above her teammate, even as her wings folded protectively around her, making a black, feathered bullet out of her body.

CRRRRKKKKKKKKKK!!!

CRASH!!

She crashed THROUGH through the bridge, turning planks to toothpicks as splinters embedded themselves in her wings. Some ebony feathers were rubbed off as the ropes of the bridge rasped across the feathered limbs. It was a tight fit...

"HGNN---"

It hurt, but it was better than her face. There was a chance, that she'd 'cause Sun to fall through as well as Blake... If that were the case, she wouldn't let him fall.

"GOING DOWN!~"

But if all went according to plan, She would let go of Blake, and sling him towards a stable looking ledge further down, before winging it the hell outta' there and off to the side before her 10 seconds was up.

Crawley had just showed up with a bundle of roses (the reason why he was late) and saw Teira displaying her wingspan and Blake putting the smackdown on Sunstrike. He grabbed a decent sized piece of rock from the mesa, stuck it down in the bundle, and ran down the mesa towards the bridge and ...

Then he realized just what he had done. He had a shocked and nervous look on his face. Then one of shame. Then one of faux redemption...

32Show me the CarFox

Oooh...s**t![/i]

33Supreme Jerk Commander

-STRIKER OFFENSE!-

"HEY GUYS! GUESS WHAT!!!!!!"

34Lady Sierra

Imagine her surprise when she got clocked in the side of the face with a bouquet of roses--- and rock. That was worse than snow rocks.

'What the he--'

SMACK!

"UGHNN!"

Even as her tail roped around Blake's neck and her hand closed on his jacket, the rock's impact threw her, and instead of crashing through bridge neatly like a feathered arrow loosed from a cherub's bow--- She toppled, her back crashing through the planks and dragging her pray down with her in a daze.

She would drop Blake off on a ledge even as she flew straight up. Instead of flying back to her team's side of the canyon, there wasn't time now--

She would land, dizzily on the edge in front of Crawley spitting out a mouthful of black, inky blood.

One hand reached up to her head and felt more of the inky black oozing down the side of her head. A rose had gotten tangled in her hair and was hanging by her ear as she glared up at him from her hands and knees.

"Really honey, you shouldn't have..."

And her world went dark.

A miniature dirigible floated past the cliffside just then; powered solely by the furious pumping of a Judge on some bastardized variant of a bicycle that was strapped to the underside of a poorly constructed hot air balloon.

Waving his hands in the air as he did so, the aeronautical Judge announced Tiera's sudden loss of conciousness with great fervor.

"...but seeing as neither of you are a part of this bout no credit is awarded to either team! Game on!"

And with that he cranked the lever on his bicycle bell twice and steered off into the windy void of the canyon.

But they were wrong… ALL WRONG! Thanks to the miracles of the Serial Healer, George was up and ready to go!

Fantasma was all spruced up for his epic intro, he had his pink, shimmering wresting tights on, red boots, and a matching red/pink Valentines Day mask complete with hearts and glitter. Of course, he kept this from his team and figured he’d surprise them.

And what better way to make an entrance than to use a striker?

So, George jumps onto the bridge and-

Teira and the guy were talking, so it was fine enough. The family resemblance was obvious.

Quote: "Any ideas? We gotta do something."

Unfortunately, Lazenca shook his head. "I can't run out there like I'm used to doing... one false step and I'm swimming. Can't you fight without--"

And then Sierra jumped into action. He'd thought of it before, her flying and saving someone. It was exactly what she went to do, though more offensive than a defensive ohcrapdon'tlethimfall save. However, when she blinked and spiraled out from a ricocheting projectile, Lazenca jumped to his feet and started growling. The yellow card gave him little solace. To add insult to injury, Teira was forced to land over there.

He had to calm down. It's done. Lazenca forced himself to remember what they came here to do. One bird, one stone... it had to expected, and how foolish of him to not. Maybe it was because of the rules that said that Teira shouldn't've taken a stone to the head that he didn't expect the unexpected.

"Silver, we need to talk."

39Sunstrike

Sun was dying, unable to breath, pinned to the bridge. His world narrowed to a fine point, that sparkled...it was gold. It was also filling his vision, crimson leaked in.

Teira! A shout and something knocked into her. Trap! His eyes widened, but it was impossible to warn Blake in time!

For a brief moment, he had thought they were saved. Teria could fly. She could get in there and help Sun without any immediate danger to the bridge.

But in an instant, things had gone from bad to worse. And now the Luchadore was here carrying their captain at the far end of the bridge. He couldn't watch anymore.

"I know, Laz... I know..."

41Nihilistic_Impact

Blake was doing his best to strangle his opponent when something wrapped around his neck and he was jerked back, painfully.

A massive weight began to drag him backwards; but Blake held onto Sun, his right arm holding on tightly, clenching his fingers into Sun's clothes he kept his grip. They would both be pulled backwards and suddenly they were in free fall.

Well if he was going to die he was taking another with him.

But then he was thrown against the side of the mesa and his grip was loosened. Either way they were both out of the ring.

Blake slid along the vertical wall for a while before he landed on a ledge was was really far too small for him and another and he felt as though he was still slipping.

So for the first time he used his hachet in a somewhat appropriate manner. He dug that axe head into the rock face and it wedged itself firmly.

Still he was hanging over the edge and it didn't look like a nice fall or an easy climb up.

Crawley rushed in like a tiger after his prey at yelling intelligbly.

Punch to the face.

He threw out his hands at Fantasma's shoulders yanking him around, grabbing him by the collar and shaking him like a baby and still screaming. He even had little glints of tears in his eyes.

"Sounds good; but first we need to get out of here."

Hanging as he was Blake had a good view of the canyon and it puzzled him for a moment.

"What the hell is that?"

Pointing across the wall he pointed at the cliff edge that was painted with a giant angry face.

45themightyjello

The cliff edge leered angrily at them with a furrowed brow.

In fact, it appeared to be getting more furrowed by the second, as if the cliff itself were shifting somewhat.

The brow was actually so furrowed that they might be able to use it as a ledge in order to climb up.

...huh.

"That's below the belt!"

Dirigible-Judge pedaled by the pair in his blimp/bike/thing. Ironically, he was pointing to a leather belt jammed into a rocky cleft in the cliff face above Blake and Sunstrike.

Silver had appeared to be listening intently to Lazenca, stroking his chin in thought and nodding as he did so, when Mata Leon took things a little too far. He put a hand up to signal Laz to hold that thought.

"Just a second, Laz. I've had enough of this. I'm going to kill the rest of them myself..."

He began to storm his way down the bridge, cracking his knuckles as he did so. Enough was enough. He called down to Sun as he passed.

Sunstrike was down on a ledge with Blake... those two didn't seem to still be punching at each other, so it was thought that they would be fine enough. Lazenca and Silver could concentrate on this... this debacle happening up the top, at the bridge. Silver stepped up, and Lazenca shifted up to Transitional.

Someone got clotheslined.

He took a deep breath. The atmosphere...

66Silver Alexander

Crawley collided with Silver low, catching him around the waist and putting an immediate stop to his charge, his momentum causing him to lean over Crawley slightly with one knee forward.

And then George came running at him, intending to striker and no doubt send him over the edge with the help of Crawley.

But Silver wasn't going to have any of that. He'd had enough of Mata Leon. They'd made a fool of him earlier in the tournament, and now they were being completely indecent with Teira. Even if he and his captain had been at odds lately, that didn't mean he was going to let some clowns get away with humiliating her like that. They were, after all, still family to him.

He was pissed. Way pissed. And when people got that upset, they tended to do extraordinary things. Saiyans went super. The Hulk... well, hulked out. Mr. Furious lifted a bus. Stuff like that. And now, it was Silver's time to shine.

Leaning forward, he would wrap his arms around Crawley, who was wrapped around him. Then, calling on some sort of secret reservoir of strength he had stored somewhere in that body of his that Vahn had recently claimed was perfect, he began to lift Crawley. With body straining, muscles bulging, veins popping out, the whole works, he would push of his forward leg and lift Crawley off the bridge, holding him up vertically and inverted.

As soon as George arrived, an instant too late, his legs would wrap around not Silver's shoulders, but Reiko's, giving him the face full of lucha-crotch, though upside-down.

Before he could realize his folly and escape, Silver would open quickly open his arms to grip George's sides as they all smashed together into one Reiko sandwich.

"See you in Hell."

With that, he would make a mighty leap straight up, and while airborne, wrap his legs around Reiko's torso. He and George, against his will or not, would then proceed to double pile-driver Crawley straight down right through the planks of the bridge with their combined weight.

"Happy Valentine's Day."

Dirigible-Judge pedaled his blimp/bike over the mesa and produced a heart-shaped package all wrapped up in bow from the wicker-basket attached to the front of his bicycle's handlebars. It even had a little toy parachute on it so that when he dropped it from that height it floated gracefully down through the air to Tiera.

Inside she would find an assorted set of chocolates... some of which had already been eaten. Coincidentally, the dirigible-Judge had chocolate smudges on his armor.

Nonetheless, UNDERNEATH the chocolate Tiera would find a yellow piece of paper on the bottom of the box and a note scribbled on pink letterhead that had i's dotted with little hearts and other putridly thematic things wrong with it.

Yellow Card! George!

For the Spanish Fly and the things he did to you while you were out.

68Supreme Jerk Commander

Things went wrong... horribly wrong.

"Oh s**t, not again..."

There wasn't much Fantasma could do, unless Crawley could save them, somehow.

69Lady Sierra

She caught the package and upon opening it, looked from the chocolates to the judge and giggled. The chocolate smudges on his armour were a dead give away about where the missing ones had gone.

But she didn't mind--- after her last run in with chocolates only 4 days ago, she didn't really want any.

What could she say? Poisoned sweets kinda' left a bad taste in your mouth.

"Thank you!~" She waved thankfully for the gift anyway.

The note that came with it made her grin.

'That's two cards against them---'

"Wait--- what's a 'spanish fly'? Just what DID they do?" It was a good thing ol'Georgey had fled the scene, otherwise she probably would have rammed the card down his throat.

Needless to say, despite the splitting headache, her senses were returning and temper was raging. How long had she been out? She got to her feet and leaned against a boulder. As her vision cleared she watched Silver take on two of them--

"YOU CAN DO IT, OTOUTOU!" She wasn't sure about where the term had come from, even saying it, the word's meaning didn't catch up to her right away. It just felt like the 'right' thing to say.

He unhitched the weapon against his back, and drove into the rock. There was a flash, and a puff of smoke. The staff was now firmly embedded under his opponents feet, like a branch.

"Never did get your name. '******** you,' doesn't leave a lot of pleasantries to follow up with."

There was nothing quite like a near death experience to get people to be chums. If only for a week; but hanging over a deadly fall did a lot to make him rather civil.

With Sun no longer holding onto him though he was able to pull himself up to the small lip of a ledge.

"They sure ******** things over."

73Sunstrike

"Sun, nice to fightchya."

Sun cautiously let go of the other guy, standing on the staff. Whole lotta sharp rocks below. He rubbed the front of his neck and grimaced. Sooner he got that drink the better.

"Do they? You've done well so far, probably my fault in some way..." He reached up, looking for a handhold, then used his feet to get the pole out of the rock with another fizz of fire.

Regular acrobat this one. So he pulled himself up, and looked for another handhold enough to let him move onto the next.

74HonoRaven

"Right...." The blond took another step to her left, shuffling her feet slightly and not actually bothering to look down. "...here!"

"This is the place, so just tie off the rope and toss it down right in front of me!"

"Tie off the rope... On What?" Grace dumped the huge coil of rope to the ground at her feet and looked at the wind swept empty top of the cliff face.

"I swear, I really don't get why I let you talk me into this crap 'Andi..." For once her good nature had abandoned her, perhaps it was the thought that she knew exactly what her companion expected her to tie the rope onto and it ticked her off to no end as she staked a goof 15 feet back away from the cliff edge muttering under her breath.

'Andi just smiled to herself and waited, the elf would do what she needed to and then they would both head back to the hotel....

Grace pulled a bit of string and a little bit of paper out of her bag along with a pencil.

If found, please return to Grace Sirona, room 1313 @ Crimson Hawk Hotel

"We better be coming back for this if no one returns it to me... or I will be going home again to get another one!" smilies/icon_stare.gif Grace glared at her companion and briefly wondered what would happen if she tried to push the other woman off the edge of the cliff smilies/icon_xp.gif

The idea passed almost as soon as it crossed her mind, knowing 'Andi it would do no good at all anyhow... Grace took a deep breath and picked up her staff, holding her little tag between her lips, the pen tucked behind her ear, she let out the breath and stabbed the capped end of the staff down into the rock with all her strength...

That said there was a shriek of metal on rock as the staff was buried three feet into the stone, it stood at a decided angle away from the cliff face... it looked a lot like a long tent peg...the titanium core was not visible but Grace knew that her staff could stand at least 500 lb of pressure, it was more likely that it would come out of the rock before it bent or broke...

She tied a sturdy slip knot in the rope and slid the loop down her staff before she tied her little tag onto the staff and stalked back towards 'the edge of the cliff with the rope, doing her best to toss it straight out from where the blond was standing... the rope would uncoil as it flew down, and hopefully it would come to a rest only a foot away from where Sunstrike was trying to climb back up, the end within reach of Blake as well.

Crawley's eyes narrowed just as Silver began to wrap his arms around him from on top but ahead. Unfortunately for Silver, Crawley was in a low lunging stance with his center of gravity being lower. He pushed up from his rear foot and hoisted Silver high with a bearhug at the hips. Where Silver had to gain a grip, Crawley already had one.

He was rather horizontal, but this shouldn't bother George too much. Surely he could just press his shins against Silver's traps, squeeze, and hurricanrana from there. And if not he'd hurt his member on Silver's forehead and faux dogpile with a hold on Silver.

Either way.. Crawley rushed Silver's back to ropes on the side of the bridge Silver was meant to go over to tip the bridge horizontal.

Not only that, but they had also violated her while she was passed out from the illegal attack.

Something dark moved behind her eyes.

Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned---

She was in the air in an instant, still a little wobbly, but she could do this. Her vengence would be swift. As swift as the wings as it was carried on.

Her hand hit the switch.

FROZEN FLAME - TERIA- OFFENSIVE STRIKER

Madryn Thosi was drawn free from it's sheath as she bore down on her prey from above.

She had eyes for one man...

"ROSES ARE RED

VIOLETS ARE BLUE

STRIKERS ARE SWEET

A twisted smile on her face, she would body check into him, driving her shoulder into his back as her weight would carry them all through the bridge, shattering all the planks for a couple feet in either direction.

She would take them all down. Crawley. Fantasma. Silver.

Drawing her sword free of her number one fan's arm, she would close her wings so that she free fell past them, before reopening them and shooting back up, tackling the ball of bodies into the cliff side opposite the canyon wall Blake and Sun were clinging to.

She would leave them there, Silver too-- She still hadn't forgiven him for being a jerk....

Landing on the top of the cliff, Frozen Flame's side this time around.

Taking something from the back of her belt, she threw it down to hit Crawley in the head.

He eyed the scene before him. Eight people had gathered to attack one another in some sort of unfathomable competition. Not like that mattered to him at all. He was here with his eyes on a different prize.

"Theerrre sshheee iiisss. Juusst lllike Rrra'karrr sssaid." an unearthly, almost disembodied voice whispered upon the wind. His gaze would wander over a few feet from where the airborne woman landed.

80Silver Alexander

Uprooted or not, he would still make an attempt to grab hold of Crawley however he could, especially if he was about to be thrown overboard, even with George attached.

When the bridge tipped, and the three of them went over, Crawley getting caught in the ropes, Silver maintained his hold, sliding down to precariously hang off the other man, in turn leaving Fantasma to hang even lower off of him, the perilous expanse of the open canyon below them.

"C'mon, you b*****d. Like Hell I'm going off this thing alone..."

But he wouldn't even need to 'rock the boat' as it were himself, because an instant later, Teira would come slamming into Crawley. And if Crawley went down, they all went down.

Silver just smirked. Even if it was a bummer to be sacrified, he figured it was a small price to pay to take out two members of the other team at the same time.

He would cross his arms and freefall as they fell, letting physics do their thing. No sense in worry about it now. Surely Teira would swoop in and rescue at least him, right?

Right?

If he indeed found himself stranded on the Canyon wall with the two members of Mata Leon moments later, then he would not be so pleasant.

"What the Hell?! Why'd you leave me here?! I went in there for you, Teira! FOR YYYYYOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!!!"

If Crawley didn't catch the magazine, it would hit Silver in the face.

Teira slammed into Crawley, and stabbed his right bicep, yes. So he couldn't hold on to the rope. But he still had a foot tangled in it. And whether he crashed through the planks or not by having the majority of his body driven into it would not be sufficient to untangle him.

After all. You don't jerk on one end of a string to untie a knot.

So there would be

Crawley, who was in the ropes.

Silver, who was grabbing the Crawley with some unorthodox body lock.

And Fantasma, who was being a luchafag.

A real cliff hanger. His thoughts came in mumbles.

"This is stupid. I'm too polished, too decorated, too celebrated, and too respected in the ring... what kind of message would it send if I allowed these guys to beat us?"

Sigh.

But to sweet little Teira, who had wounded Crawley the most in this entire tournament. He could only offer one bit of sentiment with his left hand as she ended her striker on her team's side of the canyon.

Peep the pearlies as he says it.

"I'm still here, ya fairy."

His left hand went down... and tickled at Silver's right side and underarm.

"¡MAS RAPIDO SENORITA! ¡VAMONOS VAMONOS!"

83Lady Sierra

Why could things never go as planned?

They men didn't go free falling... So she didn't have to save them. Yet.

As she tackled Reiko through the bridge, she frowned. He stopped moving.

UP she went and---

"OOOF-- OW!!!"

She had a monkey on her back. Almost anyway, Fantasma was clinging to her tail/waist/robes.

His poor hand would be shredded on the spikes of her tail spine, half inch punctures where ever he gripped.

She didn't have time to throw him off, her striker would be up soon-- She had to move fast. And with an extra ??? lbs that proved tricky.

Out of reach of Crawley and Silver as they dangled downward, and struggling with her new burden. She pried the ropes open and shook the wrestler's foot free.

"Hgggnn!"

Even through her gauntlets, her hands burned from the friction. But she got them separated.

If Fantasma tried to jump from her back to the bridge he'd be left hanging all over again as it was a tangled mess and not fit for walking on.

'The time--- DAMMIT!'

She would risk a card... she couldn't let them fall. Not Silver... not even the members of Mata Leon.

IF they were actually plummeting toward a gruesome death, Teira would go after them.

"Hold on to my waist!"

She would yell over the wind at Fantasma as she dove after the aerial grappling pair.

Her now free tail would wrap around Crawley's arm or leg, whatever she could grab, while her hands sought Silver's jacket. If given the chance, she would adjust her grip to under his arms.

The weight was too much.

It was all she could do to glide down to a cliff ledge, skidding roughly across loose rock. Nothing graceful about that landing.

Her shoulder was cracked from tackling Crawley, little spider veiny lines running down her collar bone and upper arm. Her already sore backside was paining her greatly from the tail yanking she'd received.

She just lay there shaking her head.

That hadn't been anything at all like what she'd pictured in her head.

"I can fly you up... but one at a time."

She stared at the sky and didn't look at anyone. She would move when she was good and ready.

'That was more than ten seconds... ugh... a card for saving THEM... as if!'

84Silver Alexander

So, after a sound jolting, they were still hanging there.

There sure were a lot of pocket realities being created today what with all the planned actions not really syncing up with reality. But none of them would ever know that.

Silver exhaled deeply, he having held his breath when Teira slammed into them, sure they were going down. Still, he wasn't sure if still having his arms wrapped around a burly, sweaty black dude, hanging on for dear life was much better than falling. At least the Luchadore had managed to escape making holding on easier.

"Say... Crawley, right? While we're up here, I been meaning to ask you something. Is it true you know Rei-HEYHAHAHAKO! Stop that! No fair! Hee hee!"

Tickling?! How cruel. But would he have to endure it for long? Apparently Teira had a change of plans when the first attack didn't work. Now she was simply untying them.

Would they fall or not? Their fate ultimately was in Crawley's hands...

Lady Sierra Wrote:

Her now free tail would wrap around Crawley's arm... Right arm. His left grabbed the back of her left ankle and he just hung on. Being docile as he thought things through. As he looked at the back of Silver, observing him as he was haphazardly carried by Teira under the arms. He began to grow angry. Angry that things had come to this. The match should've been his until she interfered.

Silver should've had a nice 6 foot rectangle in the ground dug out for him by now.

"I've had enough of this...

And he didn't have a KO/ringout all to himself was just setting him over the edge. Figuratively. It had already been done literally.

"... BULLSHIT!"

Crawley's knees came up to his chest and he thrusted them out dually at Silver's back to propel him out of Teira's hands and at sides of the canyon below. Of course the shift in balance should cause her to wobble now, Crawley and Fantasma wobbling with her.

But he managed. He managed to work his injured right arm to grip her tail tightly, enduring spikes and all, and pulled himself up to her back. And used his left hand to quickly flick his teammate, George, in the eye to make him lose his grip.

"Fight on, luchafag."

Much aerial balance would be lost as the sudden shifts from heavy weight to weight less, and Crawley moving around on her. He wrapped his legs tight around her waist from the back and set his body between her wings.

"I haven't used this all tournament.. but I think now is an appropriate time."

He snaked his left arm around her neck from behind and clasped it in his right arm and squeezed her neck tight as he pressed his face against her upper back. More importantly, he bridged ever-hard to make sure that they headed straight down. An upside down Rear Naked Choke (MATA LEON) with them headed head first for the dark abyss of the canyon below.

"MATA LEON : DUUUURIVAAAAAAH!"

A judge stood at the edge of the canyon, peering down.

One coloured card was tossed down into it, "Yellow Flag, Teira, staying in the fighting area for more than ten seconds/unauthorized interferance in a fight."

"Silver Alexander and Mister Crawley has left the fighting area; Double Ringout."

87Supreme Jerk Commander

"OW OW OW!"

Maybe grabbing chica's tail wasn't such a good idea.

He pulled back his bleeding right hand and just wrapped it around Teira's waist. It was all good though, until his own teammate poked him in the eyes, causing him to fall from the flying elf-woman thing.

"Aye..."

Was this the end of George? Would our masked hero be left to plummet x amount of feet to a gravity-induced bone-liquifying death?

Of course not.

George's left hand grabs hold of a large rock along the side of the cliff.

"Whew..."

He glances upwards towards what's left of the bridge. Not such a bad climb. This would be no problem if the luchadore if it weren't for his hand.

"Allright George, suck it up, and get back up there!"

Fantasma game himself a little pep talk and started to climb.

Lazenca grit his teeth and mumbled a stream of curses.

Some stuff happened. Two of his teammates on the way down to the depths below, and the combination of the climate plus the millions of centimeters between himself and what water source their was (because water bottles and a chest of beer was going to help little) meant he was useless to them. Someone was helping Sunstrike, he could see... this same person could hopefully help Teira and Silver.

He didn't know what to think, much less do. For all he knew, two of his teammates were now dead, and resulting flags would be nothing but a slap on the wrist.

His whitening hair betrayed his silence. "..."

With his eyes downcast (but not looking over the edge), Lazenca moped his way to the right pillar. Hands were placed on that which the rope was tied, and with a few seconds that side stiffened and froze in place. Lazenca then went to the left side and repeated the process.

"Has the mission failed...?"

This would effectively do much to end the wild swaying of the rope bridge. Not too much effort was put into it... it would take too long. So the frost was light, a layer thin but notable and enough to get the job done. He moved to the middle at his end, for there was still the huge hole in the center of the bridge to think of. He put his hands down on the ground, eyes on the one on the other side. Would he object to making the bridge less rickety?

Well, Lazenca made the bridge more stable by using his Ice powers or whatever.

So he just walked towards the center, his right hand holding whatever was to his right.

There was a hole in the center of the bridge or something, so he just stood like 4 feet apart from it.

So...somebody has to jump over the hole now, and it wasn't going to be him.

1/17

92Uberwulf X

Nobody would have to. Unhindered, the hands on the ground would direct waves of cold along the breaking and broken bridge. More seconds, and the ice would actually form, thickening around each individual board and linking with itself and others like it. It was like this, reaching across the large gap, that the hole was closed. It was replaced with a rightfully slippery surface, but it was a surface. It was thick enough for a good stomping, but one shouldn't be too comfortable with it. It was hot, and the ropes wouldn't hold too long. The bridge would hold running and those moves that the last fighters couldn't safely do...

But it was melting.

"Nothing is permanent."

Oh, if Fox didn't have the mind to occasionally pick his feet up from the ice being laid down, he'd have his feet frozen into the bridge, but Fox was too smart for it, right?

"So, where do we go from here?"

He stood up, letting out a long, drawn out breath.

Female announcer: FIRST ATTACK!

While Lazenca was busy ''fixing'' the bridge, he took the chance to dash, small leap toward and SHINING BLACK Lazenca.

Shining Black, you say? It is merely a variation of the Shining Wizard, invented by Masahiro Chono.

Since this move consists of putting the left leg on some part of the body, it would depends whether Lazenca was taking a knee or was on all fours. If Lazenca was on all fours, his left leg would likely land, with some inevitable force, on Lazenca's right arm, 'round the forearm. If Lazenca was on a knee, it'd be like the GIF. Either way, he was sending a boot to the face.

Then he would land flat on his back, on the pre-made ice surface over the hole which caused a crack on the surface, because he didn't let Lazenca finish it. His lower body would land on the boards, and his hands would be in kinda flinging in the air in case he had to hold on to something fast. So his fall was pretty safe.

2/17

94Uberwulf X

The bridge had to be 'fixed' or he couldn't run across the SLIPPERY BRIDGE HOPE YOU DON'T SLIP OFF. Of course, he could go early.. but that meant possibly slipping through a not-ready bridge and suiciding himself a loss.

"That can't be it..."

C. Fox Wrote:

Shaaaa. So a Shining Black strikes Lazenca, making him move back. He surely didn't do anything to protect himself, though he had the ability to see Fox running across. Since Laz was at the end of the bridge, there would be no sliding for him-- he went into the dirt. (Fox would be on ice.) It was a solid, uncontested attack, but Lazenca was already standing up in tandem with Fox's flailing.

Sometimes, you just needed to be slapped to attention.

GRR!

He began taking slow steps towards Lazenca, because s**t was shaky and he couldn't run. It was going to be difficult to run anyways, because the bridge was going to be either slippery or...like it already is.

COME ON!

He said with a little fist pump and shake.

96Uberwulf X

But if Fox was dashing at him from the middle of the bridge... then it'd be more than a couple of steps, right? No matter, 'cause he was up, Fox was up, and it was time to really get this going.

With a growl in his throat, he ran straight at Fox, his right arm bent as if he was about to give Fox a running elbow. However, their distance was only a few steps-- this was uncontested by any artistic license on the way their surroundings were. So after a quick movement, his right arm opened up.

Lazenca's hand wouldn't physically touch Fox; there was still a good couple of feet between them-- kicking distance (but would it matter, since Fox wasn't in a conventional kicking stance?). However, the white lines that leapt from his hands would jump the gap and tear at Fox for him.

((s**t, got caught up on Vent.))

He saw Lazenca rush at him, with the arm bent inwards.

What he didn't know was that some kind of...''lines'' were coming off the hand, as an offensive attack.

However, the arm flicking outward alone made him react, by weaving his upperbody backwards, like a boxer. His legs stayed in the same place.

The ''lines'', though, caught him. 3 simple cuts across his pectorals, one under another, horizontally, like Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon.

NNN~!

He felt something, like a sensation. But all of his attention was focused on Lazenca, so he didn't really know he was cut. No time to take his eyes off Lazenca, he would have to look later.

Anyways, he quickly retaliated. Like, very quick, right after getting cut. He lent forward with a left straight punch aimed at Lazenca's face, while Lazenca's right arm was still stretched out. He was still standing in the same place.

"Staying in the fighting area for more than ten seconds."

Anyone watching could see the Fantasma had entered the ring before Teira, and exited AFTER Teira. If she breached 10 seconds he most definitely had. The judge floated gently downwards on the breeze, his cape billowing most epicly.

"Any further action will be considered starting a fight with an opposing team outside the ring, potentially earning Mata Leon its fourth, Yellow Flag."

99Uberwulf X

Fox should've moved back. Because that meant the free-hanging right arm, now coming up and over, would have had a higher chance of not really hurting too much. But the distance was closed. Fox's fist connected, again uncontested.

There was a bit of misconception about Lazenca's being a berserker. He knew what attacks were coming, and he could recognize damage. He could pretty much feel it, know that it was taken... but it didn't matter. In fact, Lazenca might, as he was doing now, grin as the force was unleashed upon his body. Something feral was gripping him now, wild and primal.

Don't blink now, or you'll miss it.

His right claws came up and over, completing the initial Draw for the Fangs of the Arctic Wulf-- the same white lines leapt forward, Fox now taking more of the attack since Lazenca could physically slash through him now. The Draw usually put him on a low crouch, good for chasing FotAW, and for...

His hands switched directions, body coming right back up for more slashing. And from here, Lazenca fell into his own wild rhythm with steadily increasing tempo as he went back and forth, up and down, Drawing lines and ripping Fox's body apart in the controlled chaos known as Maelstrom.

Can't outbeast the beast.

All unnecessary details aside

Fox steps in upon connecting his left fist, his chin tucked in. No problem in doing this since Lazenca's arm was coming up from the outside. His left hand returning, curled like an L. He blocks the attack by merely using left forearm to stop Lazenca's right arm's motion halfway, hopefully nulling the ''lines'' thing, placing his left hand on the Lazenca's right forearm near the crook, while simultaneously stepping on Lazenca's right thigh with his left foot, slamming his right palm heel on Lazenca's forehead so his fingers can hold onto the hair, taking an upwards leap with the same left leg using his amazing athleticism to throw/put both legs over Lazenca's neck and shoulders, with the exception of his left leg being under Lazenca's right arm, which is of course the purpose of the technique.

He didn't intend for the boards beneath him to break. If that ever happened it'd only be a case of bad luck.

Anyways, After he falls/drops back, he quickly locks his legs and clamps the back of Lazenca's head with both hands to apply pressure and secure Eddie Bravo's Rubber Guard Triangle.

A choking technique, Lazenca's greatest weakness.

One more thing...He felt some liquid trickling on his chest, and saw some red from the corner of his eyes...

Son of a...

He'd used a bit of energy... going wild, messing up, maybe not thinking as clearly as he should've been. It kinda felt like the last fight-- things could go right, but there was the singlemindedness that kept him from striking the decisive blow. Take a lick to give two... he'd been too used to taking them. When would Lazenca's mind clear past ANGR so he could just fight?

Probably wouldn't be for another minute or so. In the meantime...

Quote: A choking technique, Lazenca's greatest weakness.

Stopping airflow's actually a good way to get Laz to stop, as proven there. Because there, he was playing by other rules that meant he couldn't shift up to Negative. So now Fox was holding on to the 10-foot tall hairy wulfman he'd been griping about fighting, anyway. It was the difference between being successful and almost but not quite being successful, bigger neck and all.

See how the guy in the picture is doing little with his hands? Just kinda... holding on and trying to lessen damage or whatever it is people do when they're surprised? Yeah, that wasn't happening now. With a longer reach, he got his arms around Fox's legs, which were still gripping his neck... and grabbed him by the neck to make sure he wasn't going anywhere because a moving Fox was a bad Fox. He then picked him back up with relative ease, turned to the right post which was probably a foot or two away, and slammed Fox's back down over the near edge.

Repeatedly, as necessary.

Oh, Fox could let go of Lazenca's neck now if he'd like to try and get away, though that meant undoing the tangling he did and Laz compounded by shifting. Didn't mean Laz was letting go until something cracked, Fox tapped, or cried Uncle. Knowing this team, the last two weren't happening. Besides, Lazenca was about tired of asking people to stop fighting anyway.

[disk 4, track 6]

102Show me the CarFox

Well he actually thought choking was Lazenca's greatest weakness because Crawley beat Lazenca twice with a choke.

Anyways, he had a feeling this was going to happen. You can't get a triangle choke these days without trying to get lifted or powerbombed into something. So he gets carried and slammed against the pillar. Twice actually. This wasn't going to kill him or knock him out or anything, but it wasn't exactly pleasant either. Keep in mind though, only the right leg was over Lazenca's shoulder and around the neck. His left leg was actually under Laz's right arm. The only arm around his legs would be Laz's left arm. But ******** that, let's not get technical. That didn't matter much anyways, he still got grabbed by the neck.

Anyways, after the second slam, he throws his left arm back to grab ahold of the ropes to his left, while using his right arm to push down both of Laz's arm and relieve the pressure on his neck, his right hand holding Laz's right wrist and pulling down while his elbow pushes Laz's left forearm down.

When Lazenca pulled him back for another slam, the ropes would serve as some kind if bungee cord, so when Laz's thrusts him into the pillar, he could pull himself towards that direction -so he doesn't get slammed against the pillar obviously- , twisting his torso counterclockwise while simultaneously throwing his right hand to the left to grab ahold of the ropes as well, using all that momentum to Hurracarana Lazenca over the ropes.

He after flipping over, his opened his legs, letting Lazenca go, cuz' he wanted Lazenca to fall obviously. He seriously needs this. FF was already ahead on points just because his team got carded twice, and he could not lose, or his own team would kick his a**.

103Uberwulf X

One day, when he was fighting the infamous Reiko and his flavor-of-the-month Rose, Lazenca went for a Frankensteiner (which is pretty much close enough to the same thing for Laz's purposes since he never did a true wrestling Frankensteiner anyway) but the woman cut up his legs upon landing, since she was able to see it coming from yards away.

And then another time when fighting Ariah at Esthell, she did some tricky icky and though he'd managed to get her up, Lazenca landed all crazy and hit his head against the building after sliding around.

Quote: "Hey, screw you and your flashbacks, why does this matter?"

This matters because someone who uses N move should know how to defend against N move and with two notable people reminding him of how easily screwed the move can get... Laz knew.

This knowledge was applied to Fox's moving back. Laz didn't know he was going for the ropes, just that he was bending backwards for something-- and when like this, it's usually a flip. So Fox would find it awfully easy to move Laz's hands away, because Laz's left was moving to the leg around his neck. His own right hand was going to the pillar so he'd have something to hold on to.

His own right leg moved back to further anchor himself as his head tucked and with a shove and Fox's own twisting away, he expected Fox to go flying like a wobbly top off the bridge. However, he'd grabbed the ropes, lucky guy. So now both were disengaged from each other.

"..."

And Lazenca's hand was on the pillar.

"..."

And now Fox's hands were frozen to the ropes in exactly the same manner that they'd been stabilized. There'd be frost this time, since Lazenca was much less depressed and had a mind to actually use a nice amount of energy in it, and do it quickly.

Blake was beginning to enjoy a beer when he was bothered by the fact that his team mate was having issues. Why did they always seem to have some trouble or another?

"Bloody bastards can't even manage themselves."

So he was forced to trigger his watch to send notice that he was strikering. Throwing a half empty bottle away he picked up his hatchet and walked towards the bridge. The two would be too busy fighting each other to really take notice of a man just walking.

It was kind of odd though, they were fighting practically on the mesa for how close they were to it. Blake wasn't going to worry about it as it just meant there was less distance to travel.

Now stepping onto the bridge he wasn't too far away from the others and Lazenca was occupied with trying to get a leg off from around his throat and Fox looked like he wanted to throw the guy off the bridge.

In enters the hatchet. This little tool of metal and wood was gripped firmly in a two handed grip that would see Blake swinging at as though it were a baseball bat straight for Lazenca's spine. His feet were planted well and the only resistance he should encounter was when he pulled the hatchet back to swing once more.

All in all Blake figured he could get in a good three to four such hits before he was forced to leave in a hurry less he spend too much time in the fight.

The only thing he wasn't certain on though was the extent of the damages, a normal human would probably have been dead from the blows and if they lived they'd be paralysed; but people had an odd habit of doing weird things here and Lazenca was clearly not human.

106Show me the CarFox

Oh, thank God for Blake.

Lazenca gets inevitably axed on the back several times. This has to put Lazenca out of complete focus and in sharp pain. This was a very nice chance to STILL throw Lazenca over the ropes with a hurracarana/frankesteiner. And, his hands weren't frozen to the ropes, due to Blake axing Lazenca in the back before it happened.

So, he still attemps to throw Laz over the ropes, like he intended to do, using the same motion/move mentioned in his Author's last post.

Oh, this hurt. Did anyone expect it to do something else other than hurt? Did someone expect him to do something else other than open his jaws and let out a sound of pain? His spine? His mickey-vickey SPINE?! Are you reading this, people? Blake just took an AXE to Lazenca's SPINE. And he wasn't doing it once, he was going to keep doing it.

That sounds like intent to kill. That sounds like a reason to get pissed.

The pain was destined to come back as his mood leveled out. He wasn't too... depressed with the prospect of losing his team to the dark, because someone was helping him... and there wasn't a huge booming voice stopping the fights for death flags. His subconscience/one of those voices was telling him that it'd be alright. Just fight.

He'd gone about it the wrong way, almost losing himself as against his last opponent, rushing too hard or not hard enough and paying for it. He being calmed by those voices still, told that this wasn't the wrong way. Play it straight, play it patient, and something would happen to make it right.

Had Blake not stepped in and tried to chop him like an oak, then that moment of tide-turning and calm would be upon Lazenca.

Instead, the calm was gone. His mind was in Alpha Shift Black... and with an AXE IN HIS BACK ARE YOU SERIOUS that's how he would stay.

The first hit made his vision white with the pain. It was a flash, a searing heat that was undeniably there. The second hit may have well been a strike with a toothpick because against all common sense, there was no pain response to it. His body responded by straightening, by letting out a large gush of blood that was sure to stain him terribly... but pain?

Fox was still thrown off. Screw Fox, he could still hang there with all his flipping attempts. No ice, he was free to scramble back up. Lazenca turned quickly to Blake, somewhere between pulling back from the second chop or going in for the third, and swiped with a backhand aimed at knocking the arm away, at dislodging the axe and sending it out of his hands. Or not, who cares? The important motion was the other (left arm) coming around and down in a sweep, the hand taking solid hold of one of Blake's legs.

One big sweep... and Blake should've been hitting the pole. There were bigger plans in store for him though, as Lazenca spun around again and used his other hand to secure his hold on the leg while pushing his arms up. Looked like he was swinging around a big ol' turkey leg, and now holding it high over his head.

The bridge... Fox had never let him finish securing it. By now, the ropes were thawed enough for movement and what was on the wood itself was thin. It was a layer of ice that didn't matter.

Fox could still be on the ropes, he could getting to his feet, he could be coming in with a flying knee. Either way, he had a Blake careening towards him. And with this kinda force, it'd probably send both members of Mata Leon through the boards, and into the cavern.

And if none of this worked or mattered? Then Lazenca would still have to deal with the AXE AGAINST HIS SPINE TIT LICKING TOPLESS SCIENTOLOGY YOU HAVE GOT TO BE SHITTING ME.

Blake managed to get two good blows in, though he wasn't entirely sure to what extent the damages was. He was pulling back for another swing when Lazenca back handed the hatchet out of his hands.

The small tool went flying into the canyon and the entire attack took Blake by surprise that he stumbled back, only a few steps away from the rocky surface of the mesa.

But then Lazenca was reaching for Blake with his other hand, attempting to grab his leg. This would be forcing him into a strange position as he'd have to reach down after taking some potentially harmful hits to the spine. The movements might aggravate any existing damages.

After the first hit though Blake wasn't standing still, he saw the body continue to turn to him and he was falling back. As he did this though his hands were moving on their own, doing something that he had done many times. His hand reached beneath his coat with his right and pulled out his gun.

Of course when his fingers squeezed the trigger there was no noise of gunfire. His first thought was that the safety was on, then he remembered it wasn't loaded at all.

Even as his mind went through it he was falling back onto the mesa, even turning to run away. Constantly looking over his shoulder as he instinctively kept his aim on Lazenca.

Everyone who actually knew Lazenca, knew he didn't like guns. Hated them. Was good for killing people who pulled them on him, much less dared to fire. However, someone as intelligent as he could force himself to... surpress his fear and extreme dislike of them. He personally knew some people who used guns, and he hadn't attacked them... he just ducked off. He didn't know others who used guns, but they weren't pointed at him, and it was in one of those military situations where Lazenca knew guns would be around... so again, ducking off, staying as clear of the flying bullets as he could.

Things like this had made him temper his reactions, which was initially "kill" and just go to putting down the threat immediately... which could, but didn't always mean "kill." As long as it happened fast. This would be the explanation why Lazenca didn't just lose his mind when the trigger was pulled and nothing came out, why he didn't just go slobbery and rabid and Hollywood CUR-AZY.

Oh, but the guy had actually fired at him... had actually pulled the trigger, and tried to shot Lazenca. And hundreds of spectators who knew a little something about Lazenca threw up their hands and dropped their heads and moaned, because they were absolutely sure that their hero was going to put his arm through this guy who'd put a axe to his spine and had pulled the trigger on him. It was like... one of those things you just don't do, and Blake went and do'd it.

What happened wasn't so dramatic as an arm though the body, but it'd still be bloody and the statement would be made.

Yes, Lazenca had to be low to grab at Blake's legs. Yes, this'd probably do wonders for his back, not that he was really... paying it much mind at the moment. But his body and subsequently his head was lower with the grab attempt. It was that positioning that mattered.

Click.

The replay officials and broadcasters would have to slow it down, because now things went pretty instinctual and quickly, and would until Blake was considered no longer a threat. Lazenca was wonderful with short, pouncing motions... and that's what he offered Blake, his jaws closing around the hand-wielding gun and closing. There was no mercy in it, no thought to the welfare of the opponent and his well being for the rest of the tournament. The hand was coming off. (Now, if it was one of those secret side shots, Lazenca was going to take the entire arm off, using his hands to assist by pushing against Blake's body... but since 'secret spy shot' wasn't mentioned, the first scenario should be followed.)

He went to pick up Blake again, this time with both hands to get both legs immediately and not have to wait for a spin to have it happen... he'd hold Blake like the club he was about to become. Grab or miss, his eyes were on Fox.

They tried to kill you. Finish this.

He roared defiantly at those who refused to give, who dared to challenge him in law outside of the tournament, who dared to place the Law of Rifle and Club above that of Heaven or Hell against him.

"I will finish this!"

The pain... it was getting too unbearable to ignore.

He tried to firer while moving backwards so his balance was already off when Lazenca pounced on him. This forced his back to hit against the sand covered mesa in such a way that he gasped for air the wind was knocked from his lungs.

In a way Blake had to think this guy, he wanted to shove his pistol down someone's throat. He just never figured he'd risk loosing his arm to it. As the teeth clamped down Blake used all the motion his hand could give him to beat that heavy weight around the inside of Lazenca's mouth, maybe he'd get a tooth ache.

He was dazed and frantic in his motions, attempting to get whatever was happening to stop.

When his arm was grabbed his eyes grew wide as he could only guess what was planned for him. Blake's legs flailed, attempting to kick Lazenca from his back; which was no position to kick anyone in.

About the only somewhat effective tactic he could do was to clench his left fist and bash it against Lazenca's face. Aiming for nothing in general but just wailing on him as though he held a knife in an ice pick grip.

While that happened his arm was being torn off.

"******** monster!"

Literal truth.

Now we must turn to something else, the fans. Lazenca may have a large following compared to the young up start; but there's something to be said of someone seemingly out of his rank attacking a visible beast that doesn't stir within some hearts the notion of struggling against the odds.

Everyone loves an underdog. And even more love one that had in the past delivered one of the most impressive fights of the whole tournament. Yes, you can not discount the fans of Blake's fight against Chance while Dethklok blasted out their wild concert.

And then there was the general fans of gore that were getting their choice viewing with the tearing of Blake's arm off with nothing more then muscle strength.

A more technical minded person though would consider whether or not Blake had been in the ring for more then ten seconds. By most his Striker would have started upon stepping onto the bridge and would end when he had left it; but due to circumstances he was now off the bridge but not entirely disengaged from combat.

112Abyssal Majesty

Asherah was perched on some random persons shoulders in the spectators crowd. She had them hold onto her ankles as she balanced with a megaphone at hand. Taking a deep breath, Asherah held up the megaphone to her mouth and declared from her very core.

"CCCCCHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSTTTTTOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!"

Punching her free fist in the air, she declared her fandom once again.

"CCCHHHHEEEEEEEESSSSSSSTTTTTOOOOOOHHHHHHH!"

Some people looked up at her in bewilderment, but the fans caught on quick. More and more the phrase was being chanted. Louder and louder it did become!

"CHESTOH! CHESTOH! CHESTOH! CHESTOH! CHESTOH! "

"CCCCCHHHHHHHEEEEEEEESSSSSTTTTTOOOOOOHHHH!"

113Just Three Words

"?" Ray, who had come to watch Lazenca fight, was now listening to the crowd screaming fans holler something about a chest, or cheetos. She couldn't really grab it until fanned ears would span, letting her take in the chant.

"Chestoh?" It seemed this woman who started the chant was a very die hard fan of Team Mata Leon. And Ray, well, if people had watched her interview during the cage fight, they'd know Ray was a die hard Frozen Flame fan.

And so. Ray would stand. Waltzing over to Asherah and her body lifter, before she'd take a quick jab at the back of the mans leg to make him crouch down, bringing the woman with her, and as she came down, Ray would snatch the megaphone from her with narrowed eyes, staring down.

"Mayn, ******** Chestoh." Ray brought the megaphone to her mouth, right infront of Asherah's face and without much thought she'd scream into it. "TEA-AIR-RA, LAZ-EN-CA, SUUNNN-STRIKE, AND..." A pause and Ray would shrug. "THATOTHERGUY." (Sorry silver. xD) "LAZENCA! TEAR THEM APART!" By that last statement, she'd stopped screaming in the poor womans face, and had turned to watch Laz', the megaphone now dropped while she raced to get a better view.

Hopping over people and weaving through crowds Ray would make her way to the front, climbing up some random mans back while she'd stand on his shoulders perfectly balanced.

Watching, she'd grin wide at Lazenca's move, but frown at the wound in his back. "Tch." Stomping down one foot, Ray would throw her fists in the air. Just in time to see the gun. "DON'T DO EE-" Too late, Lazenca had reacted and now had the man in his jaw. Grinning, she'd keep her fists in the air, now jumping on the poor mans shoulders while chanting.

"LAZENCA

LAZENCA"

Now Ray had her own group of rabid fangirls and fanboys chanting behind her. Some even want into song and dance. But Ray, Ray stood at the top, continuing to shout her faveorite fighters name. "LAZENCA! LAZENCA! LAZENCA! GET 'EM BROTHER!"

s**t, BLAKE!

st, he had to think fast. Blake was getting his arm bitten off. This is the most discouraging st that has happened to him in the tournament. His opponent turned to him, which pissed him off, to attack his teammate, Blake, who was probably getting an arm bitten off. Now Fox was angry. Just angry though, not the "ARRRGGHH NOW I CAN LIFT 10000 TONS OF s**t!" angry.

He couldn't find anything in the area that could be considered worthy of a weapon, and trying to suplex the guy wasn't really going to work. I mean, he took a axe to the spine and nothing really happened. So, what is Fox going to do?

While Laz is on his fours, busy, chewing Blake's arm, he quickly walks towards Lazenca and mounts Laz's back. No jumping or pouncing on Lazenca. That would give away his surprise attack and he didn't want that. Anyways, he quickly hooked his legs in and locked the arms in a figure four formation around Laz's neck and pressed, HAAAAARD.

...Lol, no, just kidding. But seriously...

MATA LEON (Rear Naked Choke)!!!

Laz just can't defend this properly, the neck was too exposed and s**t, and he wasn't even looking at Fox. This was it. Fox gave his everything in this choke. He had to pull it off with this.

While pressing, he shouted:

While at the same time, thinking: "A few seconds is all I need!"

115Sunstrike

Things were getting brutal, and Wulf was caught between an arm and a hard on place. A few seconds were really all Sunstrike needed. He was already running along the ropes, and moving straight onto the fighting platform.

His FIGHTER blazed with his intentions.

Two could play at this strikering game.

FROZEN FLAME - Sunstrike - OFFENSIVE STRIKER

116Sunstrike

Ten seconds was given, that would be all that he needed to put a crimp in Fox's plan's.

Fox was taking Laz down, facing away from the rapidly approaching salamander. Sun would actually leap from the ropes and shove his 6ft+ frame the other man full in the back. He wouldn't even slow in his progress, propelling Fox over Laz, working with the four legged being to LAUNCH Fox into Blake.

When Fox fell either into his own team mate or onto the bridge, Sun would plant both feet, metal and otherwise into a solid lower back and give things a bit of a twist for emphasis.

He would wait for any cracking, wood or bone, and then use the body beneath to spring off, causing more damage, before continuing his run until he was safely back on his own side.

Silence coming and going.

117Uberwulf X

Fox was completely and utterly ignored. Thank the higher powers for Sunstrike's intervention.

Springing into fox's back to throw of his jump on Lazenca... he felt both of them slam into his back and with Blake's arm in his mouth, he quickly turned-- this would them both to Lazenca's right, with him turning left. Having both of them slam into his back did absolutely no good for his injuries. Everything seemed to slow down as he was made more and ever more aware of his back.

A recap of the chaos was in order.

  • Blake is currently without a right arm, and thusly no longer a threat.

Sunstrike sailed the winds to surf on the back of...

Fox, who was likely getting his day ruined.

The ropes of the bridge were weeping with melted ice, the entire thing soggy and ready to come apart from so much abuse.

Silver was going the way of Wile E. Coyote.

Lazenca stood.

He couldn't fathom everything that was going on. Using his right hand to remove Blake's arm from his maw, he turned slowly to Fox as Sunstrike was breaking away. Laz was forced to stretch backwards, but quickly ended that motion when he felt it. Actually felt it... the line in his back. He wasn't aware that all this tussling had opened up a larger line on his back, where Kael's sword had dug into him and Laz rolled to put it down. There was a sort of diagonal cross on his black, the crimson formation visible and smeared despite the large amount of fur on his body. The blood ran down his tailguard, and was pooling beneath him.

He tried to shift... it hurt. Something was wrong... he's usually only unable to shift when something's broken. But if something was broken and the most serious injury was to his back, he shouldn't be moving. What could it be, then?

He hunched over waiting for Fox. This wasn't life or death, so maybe he should quit? Nobody could fault any of them, for they fought hard.

Don't.

Finish.

Running strong with a high head...

...or stumbling through the end and collapsing an inch past the line...

"...Yield."

Blake's arm, now a club, was leveled with obvious intent. This was the last stand.

He got knocked over Lazenca, rolling over Laz and Blake.

ARGH! YOU ****** f!

That was to Sunstrike. Anyways, he stood back up, facing Lazenca, aware of his surroundings too. Fox noticed Lazenca having trouble with something. Lazenca looked uncomfortable, perhaps tired and hurt?...Wait a second...

HoH Ability Wrote:

-Strike Back (Strength/stamina boost when opponent shows signs of fatigue.)

His fighting spirit was through the roof. There was no stopping him for the remaining time.

Then, he dashed towards Laz, his right arm cocked back. He was aware of Laz's ''lines'' and what not, but the guy was looking tired so.

C. Fox Wrote:

That was to Sunstrike.

Sun would lick his middle finger and hold it high, then roll it in the air.

Purely with and expression of Bite me.

For Fox's benefit.

If the other guy wanted to act like a hypocritical a**, Sun sure as well was gonna treat him that way in return.

Meanwhile the crowds were all on their feet for Lazenca, cheering, crying out, supporting the big guy all the way.

"YOU CAN DO IT LAZ!!!"

Catcalls were hurled at Fox for the poor display of sportsmanship.

120Nihilistic_Impact

A bleeding man was on the ground between the two fighters. Doing his best to work against the shock of losing an arm and not to black out from blood loss.

Even if he had to crawl he'd get out from between the two and would stagger to his feet. On the point of death he ignored the other combatants and raised his remaining hand in a victory salute.

Then collapsed as medical staff surrounded him.

121One Fly Red Mage

Somewhere... a black guy, age 20, and just getting home from work threw his ******** monitor across the room in response to this complete BULLSHIT.

122One Fly Red Mage

It goes like this.

With 3 yellow cards to their tab, 2 double ko's down to the final fight, Crawley missing, and a teammate with his arm ripped off after delivering what should've been a finishing blow to C. Fox's opponent.

If things kept going the way they were going, it didn't look like MATA LEON would be having a happy ending to this fight.

And though C. Fox was fighting valiantly, it did seem like the werewolf, Lazenca was too much for him. More like too much for both him and Blake.

As the sun sets, one can only wonder how things will turn out.

--- End radio report.

"Man, what are you guys gonna do if you lose?"

"We aren't going to ******** lose. The team isn't worth losing to. Just get me back to the top."

"Promise me that you aren't going to try anything in your condition."

"Well, I kinda have this habit of making promises I can't keep."

123Uberwulf X

He threw Blake's arm at Fox, growling. This was eight different flavors of annoying and stupid. Fox could catch the arm, or he could let it fly over his head, or let it bounce off and be the last thing sailing down into the darkness.

Everyone watching knew what injuries had been sustained. It was obvious. And though his fans, his team, or even a fourth of his psyche may not appreciate it, he'd practice what he preached. He knew when to...

"I yield."

Pathetic.

He moves his left arm in front of his face to swat Blake's arm away, then stops upon hearing Lazenca's words: "I Yield"

Hm...

He felt this sudden relief. He was speechless, yet happy at the same time. Then nodded and walked towards Lazenca, and spoke:

Thank you. It was a good fight.

A very intense and exciting fight indeed. He extended his right arm to shake Laz's right hand, as a sign of showmanship and respect.

End.

125Just Three Words

When Lazenca spoke of quit his fans went quiet, there wouldn't be a boo or what the hells. Instead, it clicked with each and every one of them. He was hurt, and needed to be treated. Instead, they'd clap for his and his opponents fight. Chanting thanks and good fight.

Ray plopped down on the man's back and then got off, walking a distance away. She'd wait for Lazenca to leave for the hotel before she'd follow behind quietly, her head covered in a hat and hood. She didn't want to show him just yet.

"Lazenca, if you have a hard time washing your wounds. I'll help. And keep my clothes on." this was said only after the round was over and Ray could approach the wulf man.

126Uberwulf X

His final act was going to be shaking Fox's hand. He was very surprised by the gesture, though it wasn't visible. His eyes were closed and when Fox moved away, Lazenca dropped and curled up, whining.

The medical crew would have a field day with this round for sure.

127Show me the CarFox

He turned around after shaking hands, seeing all the meds around him, tryign to check him and whatnot.

It's ok. I'm fine. Some ice would do. Hold on...

Fox then turned to the cameras and spectators/fans, making a victory pose while shouting:

CHESTOOOAHHH!!!

Then he sat down to let the meds do their job.

128Silver Alexander

Silver would come floating back up over the edge on his team's side of the canyon. Was it a miracle? Could he fly? No, he had just managed to land on Dirigible-Judge's blimp as it'd happened to make a pass under the bridge as he surveyed the fight. I know, "how lucky", right?

The Judge probably didn't think so, as he'd already seemed to have been peddling his a** off on that thing in heavy armor. Silver was, of course, eternally grateful for the ride and extra effort, though.

Silver would carefully stand from his cross-legged sitting position atop the dirigible, and hop off to land on the rocky, uneven cliff's edge, shaking unsteadily for a moment before turning back to the Judge and waving.

"Hey, thanks for the ride, pal! Don't worry, I'll get you the rest of Glacier's autographs just as soon as I see the guys, okay?"

He would then make his way over to Sunstrike, taking his jacket off as he walked. It was getting kind of warm out there in the afternoon desert sun, even if it was windy atop the rocky mesas. He'd pat Sun on the back to alert the other man of his presence if he hadn't heard or seen him coming.

"Hey, you alright?"

Silver took a moment to look around. The medical teams were scurrying about to to reach and treat the injured fighters on both sides. The crowd had moved in a little to get a closer look after it was apparent the round was over, but security kept them at a reasonable distance. Everything seemed normal for post-fight hubbub. Except there was still one person missing.
