He got strikered. Nothing he could do about it. Considering he was moving all the time, it'd be pretty ******** hard for Shadow to exactly land both heels onto his jaws.
However, he would be getting a feetfull on the right side of his face, 'round the ear and cheek area.
Getting hit, he stumbled into the the north side of the ring, where he hung on the ropes to regain balance. His back facing south to the ring, he looks over his right shoulder, where he sees Val rushing at him to Spear.
He quickly turned around, bracing himself, but already having a plan thought out.
He technically lets himself get ''Speared'', just to counter...

By slapping on a Guillotine Choke, and possibly a full one, not a half assed one like that one fight in the frozen lake.
He basically followed his instincts, reacting as if someone tried to ''shoot" from a little long distance.
So, instead of just trying to choke Val, he aimed to crack the dude's neck, which was worse, by slightly raising his hip/waist off the canvas and arching his torso backwards and to his own left, while his left arm cranks inwards...Assuming Val's head is trapped on his left arm if we go by the "Spear" gif Val posted, unlike Fox's in that specific case.
Nothing mattered at this point now, anyways. He would peep at the clock. There was VERY little time left. Will Val fight the submission hold and escape, or will Val tap before the time runs out?
Hey, Guillotine Chokes are part of Wrestling too.
