MOVER DAM GENERATOR ROOM

The loud buzz of machinery fills the room where combatants fight. The generators buzzing as water pours through the system of the dam.

Terrain

General - The inside of the spacious dam is well lit and full of moving machinery. Be careful of structural damage however.

Weapons - None.

Bonus Effects - None.

2Rain Yupa

Rain walked along the inside of the generator room, slowly but surely, taking in all the sites. He had never actually been to a Dam before, let alone go inside one. So all this was fascinating to him. All the technology, all the power...

Though, he had more of a poker face going on. The time to goof around was over, and now it was time for serious business.

Workers from the Dam scattered here and there, checking things, repairing other things... apparently, the structure had suffered some damage from the previous fight here, and they were still tying up loose ends before the second round began.

Exhaling through his nose, he would approach one of the many turbines, resting his hand on the side of the casing, feeling the whir of machinery vibrating throughout the entire substructure. It was almost... soothing. What, with Rain being part machine now, and a user of electricity. It was almost as if... he felt at home here.

A slight smile would mark his features, as his eyelids closed and he would press his face against the turbine's casing, nuzzling it.

3Scorpio_Shirica

"Don't you want us to come with you?" Hiro asked, some ways down the road from the dam.

"No. Only if Lady Ray comes to watch.... I'll be safe." Kichiro nodded, supremely confident, or over-confident given the last event.

"At least take Xia and Qia with you..." Hiro nodded to the two healers in white that'd healed Kichiro before when he went unconscious.

Kichiro accepted, and continued on down the street towards the dam, driving one of the Escalades himself. Six of the other convoy turned around and headed to the various arenas, going to watch the various fights they would be allowed to watch. They'd respect Kichiro's decision to leave him alone.

Crystal green eyes sparkled beneath a new straw hat, looking down to the water and the reflections on it from the sky above.

'After seeing what happens in putting me in a place full of flammable things, they put me in a watery tomb instead. How nice of them.'

Kichiro shook his head, and stepped out of his vehicle after arriving. Some dam workers showed up, and helped Kichiro find his way inside to the generator room. His hands were deep inside his overcoat, on his pants, thumbs hooked on pockets, exposing the sheathed wakizashi blades across his thighs. Still over his shoulder, was that katana. Kichiro doubted he'd be using it though.

Moonshine and DemonBuster were more of Kichiro's favored blades any more.

"Team Pwn't, eh?" Kichiro turned to Qia, who was going to separate herself from Kichiro to go to the crowd. She nodded, and then went off with her sister, the two white dressed figures with Romani styled shades, wary of Kichiro's strange behavior in not having his trusted enterouge with him.

The 6'3" Japanese man, 6'5" with his boots, walked up some stairs on to the walk way which lead passed the turbines. He'd not seen Rain since watching him get gunned down, the two teammates hardly having much of a strategy, or functioning as a team it seemed.

There other teammate, the alternate, had yet to show himself in the Heaven or Hell scene. Team Rising Storm looked to be on its last legs, yet Kichiro held to hope that the last member would arrive, and that they'd still perform their best to the last.

Kichiro listened to the hum of machinery, closed his eyes, and did his best not to imagine himself fighting in a watery coffin.

However, the days of rest, eating, his own natural healing abilities, and those of the magical healers of Gaia... had put him in a much healthier state for this fight.

4[Chance]

[ Dam - Generator Room ]

After being patched, sewn, and overall prettied up from his last fight, Chance wandered into the depths of the Mover Dam. At current, he stood on the catwalk in the generator room, looking down at Yupa...Who was nuzzling a massive turbine.

Oh that's just not right. Chance thought.

He stood there, watching with his arms crossed, tapping his right foot lightly against the floor.

5The Crossed Fox

As Kuroha made his way down the catwalk, an... odd site would cross his gaze. A man, seemingly pressing up against one of the generators. What... The... F**k!

It seemed a reporter woman was inside the dam, apparently reporting the damages of the fight before, and how the progress on repairs were going. However, the cameraman would veer off towards the right ever so slowly, and catch the glimpse of the man making contact with the generator with his face. Well well, a Gaia-wide embarassment, no? Yes, as the woman kept talking to the chief worker, the camera focused in on the man. Wow....

Kuroha, finding himself at war with his face muscles, would bring about his crude spear-staff, and use it as a walking stick, he'd make his way down the catwalk, still attempting to fight off a smile.

Well, attempting to ignore the odd site, he would approach his teammate Chance, and with a slightly offtone voice, he'd ask...

"Well, seems our opposition has a thing for machines..."

Weird...

6The Black Sand Mule

He was followed by Jose-Luis, who happened to be adjusting the tape grips on his crowbar and stretching out. Always be warm and ready before a battle, pretty much. There wasn't much injury to him in the first place, and although his left forearm looked a bit off-color, he was fine.

He stopped briefly in his motions to look over the edge in order to see what Chance was looking at, and blinked, twice.

"Tha ********? OY! GET A ROOM!"

Machine-humping was something that should best be done in private, or over a live cam, but only if the machine user was female.

Anyway...

He'd hand the tape over to Chance, and hold the crowbar in his right loosely - after last match, he was pretty sure loaning out his weapon would be likely to occur. As long as he got something in return for it, that'd be just great.

7[Chance]

Chance turned his his right, wincing at the loud voice that came from a man that he did not know was present.

His hands gripped the crowbar. A knife was slipped into one of Jose's pockets.

8Scorpio_Shirica

Kichiro was on the catwalk, connected to the turbine, when he heard all the shouting voices. It wasn't hard to see the man standing damn near above Rain, who was nuzzling the thing. The Chimagin always thought there was something strange about that captain of his.

No matter.

Black gloved hands rose on to the surrounding fence, and Kichiro's overcoat was moved by the breeze generated by the spinning turbine. As was his long black hair, moving back from the straw hat. His face, with the exception of his eyes which sparkled against the work lights, was rather hidden in shadow.

"..."

He waited. Though his eyes casually drifted over to Kuroha.

'Are you going to leave mid dual again, or will you actually stay and fight the wrath of the yellow dragon?'

These thoughts weighed on his mind, recalling Kuroha's flight from a dual to lead archers, a dishonorable samurai, not worth the title. Kichiro's blades itched for his blood.

9The Black Sand Mule

"Sorry."

Jose-Luis'd let go of the crowbar, fasten the helmet, insert his mouthpiece, and start stretching his legs, touching his palms to the ground without a knee bend. He was pretty flexible and it'd had its uses in past fights.

The knife was a good thing, and after a second, he'd look to Kuroha and grin.

"Ey, dude, wait up here. Make 'em come to us - there's enough room ta fight."

For the sake of convenience, this catwalk would be the highest one up, somewhat near the crane.

10Rain Yupa

Rain would open his left eye, shooting a glance at his hecklers. He closed it again, pulling away from the turbine, gently carressing the cool steel with his hand one last time before parting.

Cracking his neck, then stretching his arms up over his head, he would turn to address the members of team Pwn't as they arrived.

"AHEM! Uh, yes. You guys certainly are punctual, it seems. Welcome to the Mover Dam. I am Rain Yupa, captain of Team Rising Storm. I believe my teammate, Kichiro Oda, is here somewhere here; I saw his convoy car pulling up as I was heading in." As to emphasize his point, he would glance around, trying to spot Kichiro, where ever the man was hiding.

"Which one of you is the captain of your team, may I ask? I need to address with you the matter of my team being... understaffed."

Rain would rub the back of his head, trying to look as innocent as possible as he was preparing to break the bad news to his opponents.

11The Black Sand Mule

Mouthpiece out, and he'd look down to see the man. s**t-talking aside, he gave a friendly grin and waved a bit, trying to hide his confusion behind friendliness.

"Aye, thas me. Jose-Luis Villasenor a sus ordenes. Whassup?"

Hopefully they'd be able to fight - if not, he'd try to reason with the judges. After all, a few quick one-on-ones would be nice practice.

12The Crossed Fox

Kuroha'd whistle over to Jose and Chance...

"When you're done with that, mind givin' me some too? I need some sort of grip on this pole here. 'snot doin' too well, y'know, last match, she didn't see any action..."

Yup.

He would look over the railing, and spot Kichiro...

He'd smile and laugh, obviously slightly changed with the precense of his allys. It seemed their freer, slightly less disciplined attitudes had rubbed off of him, as well as their tactics, as would it soon be shown to whomever he;d fight...

13Rain Yupa

Rain would nod towards Jose-Luis, and slowly (and non-threatenly) make his way to the stairs, up towards the catwalk. He would stop some distance from the man, because walking right up to him was asking to be slugged by that crowbar he spotted.

"Thing is, one of our opponents in our previous match got careless with one of my teammates, and there was kind of a... fatality. And our alternate never showed up, either. So we're effectively down to two men, unless John Tomorrow shows up at some point. Facing disqualification 'cause of it. Friggin' rules." Rain would mutter towards the end there, before continuing.

"I've heard some suggestions that if a team gets in a predicament such as ours, we should try to take another team down with us. I assure you, that will not happen. Desperation begets nothing in our case, except making us look like total wankers, y'know? So, it looks like it'll be a pair of 1-on-1's, if that's okay with you, Sir Villasenor of team Pwn't? Someone's going to have to sit this one out, unless you guys leave one of us standing enough to go another round, or on the remote chance our final team member shows up."

Sighing, he would turn his gaze to Jose-Luis's teammates, before returning to the captain's gaze, sighing. "I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience about this matter, friend Captain. I want to spend some time exploring around here for a bit before my fight, so whenever Kichiro shows, he can fight first. How do these conditions sound?"

((OOC note: Trying to wrap up non-fight duties so I can go to bed in the morning; the exploring thing is just IC justification for bedtime smilies/icon_razz.gif ))

14The Black Sand Mule

"Aie... we can wait for a bit if ya'd like. I think Kuroha here's got some history with yo' boy Kichiro... they can do it out. An' I wouldn't blame ya for tryin' ta take someone down, tho. All's fair in love an' war. Either way, we best talk to tha judges, eh?"

He'd keep his hands in plain sight - there was some honor. After all, they hadn't started fighting and unless he was mistaken, Jose-Luis was a bit bigger (probably stronger, given his frame.) Any s**t started and there'd be some negative side effects.

"I'd rather have tha matches if it's all the same. Passin' by proxy ain't a challenge."

15Rain Yupa

"Oh, no need to worry about that. We'll still fight. I'll let Kichiro start off this time; You can have Kuroha fight Kichiro first, if that's okay with you? And then whichever one of you wants to fight against me, whatever's cool with me." He would turn from Jose-Luis, leaning against the railing and overlooking the entire interior of the Dam.

"All three of you will be walking out of here today, don't worry. Love n' war is one thing, but taking lives out of frustration and spite, against strangers who did us no wrong? The thought of that makes my skin crawl with disgust. So don't worry; we'll give you all a run for your money, and you'll be better prepared for it. It's the least I can offer you in exchange for putting up with the chaotic mess that is my team." He would turn to smile at Jose-Luis, before standing tall to face him directly once again.

Taking a hesitant step forward, he would extend his open right hand towards the fellow captain. "Here's to a pair of hella awesome matches. Let's give the home viewers something to cheer for, aye?"

16Scorpio_Shirica

Kichiro made way up the stairs till he was on the catwalk, following behind his captain. His hands laid hidden within his overcoat, and he waited. The only visible weapon on him was the katana hilt over his shoulder.

However, those who feared him, knew what laid beneath that overcoat.

He'd been silent the entire time so far, and only nodded to his history with Kuroha. The Chimagin would fight, and he had an agenda with that one.

17The Black Sand Mule

"Aight, cool. In that case, gotta think of a new Striker. Bein' thrown off from ths high..."

Jose-Luis'd let it trail off. If his teammates would walk away in good enough condition to fight the next round, he'd try to avoid massive bone breakage and splattering people if he could help it. No word on crowbarring people, though - but he'd use the blunt end as opposed to the sharp end. Assuming he got to use it - Chance's knife was also appealing and he was carrying it.

He'd extend his hand and shake firmly, still slightly on guard in case the guy was going to try any tricks. Trust only went so far, 'specially in HoH.

18Rain Yupa

Shaking Jose-Luis's hand back, Rain nodded, and smiled. "We have an accord!" He would then turn around, to see if he could find

"GWA'HA!" he exclaimed, jumping back, startled. Almost bumping into Jose-Luis, but purely accidently. And emphasis on almost.

"DAM it, Kichiro, why do you like to sneak up on me like that?!" he would exclaim. He had not heard his teammate come up behind him. And though he feared Kichiro on some level, it wasn't so much what the man had under his coat, but more to do with the fact that Kichiro seemed hell-bent on proving how flammable Rain Yupa was.

"..."

He inhaled, exhaled, and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger. "Well, you work out the details of your match with Kuroha. I'm going to go walk around some first."

With that, Rain casually hopped over the railing of the catwalk, landing on his feet some 10 feet below onto concrete, and walked off, hands in his pockets, like nothing had happened at all.

((*hangs note over his character's neck, reading "Gone turbine humping Fishing, be back in 15". Time for bed!!))

19The Crossed Fox

He'd have watched Kichi's entire walk up to the high level catwalk, keeping an intent eye on him. It would take only his memory to cojure up Kichi's abilities of fire elementalism, and though they had the greater chance of disqualification, from what the overheard conversation foretold. Though Kuroha was known to be stripped of most of his honor, replacing his title of 'Samurai' with 'Ronin', he still had some within his being. This battle would -hopefully- involve no magics of any kind, and if there would be, well then woo-hoo, magics....

Kuroha would walk a step back from the railing, his head turned to face Kichi, and then he followed his body with doing so, bringing his crude staff-spear into a front porcupine formation. His blade, though intent on tasting the blood of the samurai, was not to be used yet. Advantage was indeed key in a battle such as this, and since his spear took up all of his front areas, and provided protection from quite a possible bombardment of sword blows, as well as possible counters. However, offense was key as well. He'd say to the warrior across...

"You ready?"

20Scorpio_Shirica

"For what?"

Kichiro was shinobi.

Samurai fought for his adopted Clan father.

Ronin killed his real father.

The 6'5" standing Chimagin's face remained mostly covered in shadow from his straw hat, though getting closer, Kuroha may note all the many scars across his flesh. There was one that stood out from all the nicks, being a large gash going from above his right eye down to the lower left hand corner of his lips. As Kuroha gripped his spear, Kichiro's hands pulled forth his own choice weapons.

Demonbuster and Moonshine, twin 18" curved wakizashi blades, rising with Demonbuster in Kichiro's right, and Moonshine in Kichiro's left.

Typically, when Kichiro drew his blades, they were in a cross formation before his chest, hands out at his sides with the blades. This displayed at once, confidence in his own skill, and an ability to defend. This time was different, and only a few choice swordsmen could tell what it meant.

Both blades were pointed directly at Kuroha, right hand at shoulder lever with blade tip directed towards Kuroha's left shoulder. His other hand was held down at the waist level, pointed at Kuroha's right hip. The blades were turned inwards with his wrists, so the spine of each blade faced one another across the painful opening in Kichiro's front, where there should have been that cross block.

Or at least one blade for defense.

Kichiro casually strolled forward after blades were drawn, eyes narrowing, he'd continue till his four foot and some reach with his blades, had them passing tips just passed the drawn spear. Kichiro was inviting an attack. However, as he walked, he spoke.

"For death, long since have I, for life not at all, and for love... these blades will dance."

21The Black Sand Mule

In the meantime, as befitted his , Jose-Luis would make his way to the railings and climb over, holding onto the edge of it as he moved his way rapidly to his [insert direction here], trying to get in a good position to view the battle.

During the bullet-time closeup of the Blades Of Epic Awesome +5, seen from six different angles and with the Random Lighting Effects That Accompany Cool Weapons, he'd be about halfway between the two, hanging onto the railing a distance away, intending to get behind this Kichiro fellow. Jose-Luis was not a fan of being set on fire and being in front of a man who seemed to urinate flames was not a good way to avoid a stop-drop-roll reaction.

SUDDENLY, JOHN MADDEN.

There would now be commentary on the match.

22The Crossed Fox

Immedaitely, having not payed too much attention to Kichi's words, Kuroha would pull back the front of the spear and lean his upper body forward some, while at the same time, allowing the broad end of the pole to come up, and clock ol' Kichi under the chin, and if it was a successful hit, or even a blocked one, Kuroha would immediately follow up with a heavy forward kick to the chest, to push the Shinobi back, while bringing forward the spear-staff once more in a wild, speedy shot, aimed for teh top of the head, all in one simultaneous combination as well. What a COMBO!

Yes, Kurohas eyes would also never leave Kichi's figure, as a well trained warrior never really did. He just knew that if his barrage of attacks did the trick, they would not cease from that point...

-1/17-

23The Black Sand Mule

This was Jose-Luis's cue to lean the ****** back and hurry the ****** up. Let's say he was three quarters of the way and he'd be down to a semi-squat so as to avoid any spearing or swording to the general facial area.

"Chingas!"

Weren't samurai supposed to give a long, taunting speech about how they were the tiger in the cold of the mountain and their opponent was the horse's a** in the whorehouse or something?

******** B movies.

24Scorpio_Shirica

((Some editing after how the speedy shot to the head, actually happened, was explained. ))

Kichiro leaned to his left a bit as the broad end of the pole began to raise, and both blades turned sharp edge towards the center. It wasn't hard to tell when someone was raising for a heavy forward kick, and both blades were only a few feet from his chest. End result, someone was losing a foot.

The pole would sail harmlessly into the air, with Kuroha's foot coming into a blender. The underside of both Kichiro's wrists would be facing one another at the beginning of the rotation of both blades, while pulling his elbows back in a snap to make up for the quick shortening of range. If Kuroha's ankle/shin area had some really good armor, then the force of two blades would merely block the kick, and send his foot downwards, while Kichiro continued the rotation of the two swords inwards so they'd be crossing one another.

As the top of the spear would come back down, both blades, now conveniently brought in to deal with a kick, would have the spines of both near his chest where the kick was aimed.

Kichiro's eyes wouldn't have lost track of the large thing originally aimed at his chin. Now it was coming back down, and since Kichi's head had leaned to the left, the spear would come down on his right shoulder somewhere on its shaft. Well, Kuroha would bring that down after having missed a shot, using the leverage of one foot.

On heavy leather.

Kichiro felt the stick land, while continuing to shuffle in. Snapping his elbows outwards after bending them in, the tips of both blades would come up from their crossing, into a thrust up into Kuroha's abdomen from both sides. All the force they previously had, with Kuroha close enough to whack Kichiro with the mid-length of the spear, and his arms guiding high, with a foot being jerked back...

Kuroha would have all his momentum thrown forward, and no balance from the bladed block, and presumably physics would pay Kuroha with being gutted from two wakizashis for his troubles in that combo.

2/17

25[Chance]

Chance backed away from the rails and spread himself flat against the wall. A deep breath, a large exhale.

Another deep breath.

He was off that wall in a split second. One. Two. Three steps. Jump.

Chance was airborne; his body had already cleared the rails.

He did a one hundred and eighty degree turn midair. With the crowbar in his right hand, Chance shot out with his left. It met with the under hanging of the upper-bridge. Things like this were fun to him. He was a gymnast after-all.

With a remarkable spin he let go and sailed down to level three.

[ Let's refer to this map when location is changed. That way, we always know what level everyone is on. Currently, the fighting is taking place of Level Four. ]

26The Black Sand Mule

"Would you look at that dive!"

To television watchers, there would be an instant replay of the crowbar motion in slow speeds in one half of the screen, the actions of Kichiro to attempt to de-foot Kuroha playing on the other half.

"It looks like the Pwn't offensive is in trouble now - if Kuroha can't do something, we might see the first Striker of the match to save the offensive drive!"

27The Crossed Fox

Damn, the first shot missed, but the kick, no matter how Kichiro saw it, was going to hit him with the a strong momentum behind it. Though Kichiro's efforts were valiant, his blades would not be able to pick up enough force, nor put enough force into his scissor-styles attack at Kuroha's ankle. In fact, the blades would not hit the ankle at all, and instead, as the kick neared its contact point, the blades just began to go into his shin bone, and under the lower part of his calf. Regardless of how much he had wanted to try and cut away Kuroha's foot, the kick would not allow it, and in a justice filled slice of BAM!, it would indeed knock Kichi back, off balance, and indefinitely make him unable to defend himself all too much from the oncoming follow up, as well as disrupt his current attempt at a de-footing.

As Kichi would stumble back, Kuroha's right leg would slam down in front of him quickly, the pain of the two blades insert points shooting through it, and in the same exact fluid motion, having the area just under the crude edge of the pole slam into Kichi's shoulder quite forcefully, no forward momentum allowing whatever attempted stab, from what could be seen in his hands positioning, to penetrate his stomach, which was inches from the intended area. Now, there was no time for hesitation...

Kuroha would bring his bleeding right leg back, step backwards and away from Kichi on the level four catwalk, following his left leg in a slight limped balance. The entire time, the edge of the crude spear would be facing Kichi, in order to keep him at bay. Looks like his opponents advice hadn't aided Kuroha all too well in this fight. That, and his choice of weapon.

Now, it was obvious that Kuroha's clenched teeth with every step back, and a very low hiss drowned out by the generators below, showed he was in pain, but his tolerance with pain was honed pretty well...

Except, with tendons being cut as they went into the lower part of his calf, while exerting two different downward forces with a lot of strength, and short fulcrums for leverage, there wasn't enough in that foot becoming detached to send Kichiro backwards. It'd hit against the chestplate beneath his shirt, and barely make his feet slide an inch. Instead, he just pulled down the blades faster at his sides, sending the sharp edge cutting through bone and away. There'd be nothing left of that foot from shin down as Kuroha pulled away.

As much force as a man bringing something down after a miss, after throwing a heavy kick forward, and having only one leg to stand on could send.

Kichiro didn't get the thrusts in, because he was too busy cutting away the bone, it having a higher integrity than he once thought. Not because of Kuroha's ability to stop all forward momentum after leaning his top half forward for the spear thrust, or Spartan Kick.

Now his blades would be circling back from his sides and raising however.

Seeing as Kuroha would most likely be on a stump, Kichiro's left sword would aim to knock away the spear tip, while stepping forward with his right sword pointed at Kuroha's throat. While simply walking, he spoke.

"The Ronin's time is nye, and your life flashes before your eyes. Speak truth, and repentance, so the spirits may guide you swift."

Of course there were crowds of people watching this fight. The HoH was Gaia's equivalent to the Super Bowl. So, it was a no brainer that hundreds of thousands of bored, blood thirsty Gaians would show up to watch Team Rising Sun and Team Pwn't duke it out. Most of these spectators witnessed last rounds fight on top of the dam. There was nudity, so most of these fans were pumped up to see some more crazy st, like maybe a p*s. And there was one fan in that crowd, that wanted nothing more than to suck on Kichiro's c**k.

That person was. . .

Richard Simmons.

He might or might not be the real one, but he was a man in a leotard with a microphone with his very own band.

"Ooohhh Kichi-boo! I got a song fo' you."

He began to do this dance while began to sing this song on a stage full of senior citizens and Idaho Senator Larry Craig.

He had left the Hotel nearly the same time as Kichiro and his entourage. However, they drove. He walked, and that ment by the time he finally arrived, Round 2 was in full swing. Screaming fans, reporters, the weirdos and what they called 'music' blaring out over the dam.

Matthew flicked up his jacket collar, somewhat to hide his face, and to block out some of the weirder people from his sight as he made his way to a vantage where he'd be close to the fight. He was real careful not to cause a scene, picking his way through the crowds delicately and carefully until he finally neared the front...

Where he could see Rain molesting the dam, and Kichiro fighting with some spearweilding weirdo.

Spec:

Lilana made her way to Kichiro's next fight with her arms and joints hurting. She had spent most of the day learning to throw a proper punch from Z.Z. She had learned how to do a proper battle stance, how to protect her face before and after she threw a punch. Long a** day it was. Her dress had small brown stains on it from the dust that was swirling around the area she was training. Her silver hair was pulled back into a neat pony tail exposing her angelic face and white eyes. With a soft sigh she made her way up to the third level. Her feet making a soft clunking sound as she skipped up the stairs. Kichiro's fight was already well under way. She had missed most of it but she suspected that the battle was almost over. She was almost out of breath and grimacing from the pain in her legs. "Damn.." she muttered as she leaned against the railing and looked over toward the battle. "Go Master Oda!" She shouted obnoxiously and then hoped to the heavens above he didn't look across here and get distracted. -_-

32Just Three Words

"You better not lose anymore ligaments Kichiro." Ray muttered under her breath, already standing above the fight with her lower half leaned against the railing, arms crossed over her chest. She had slipped past Kichiro's people for what she knew, and made it here on her own. And now, she'd watch him fight, in hope that the man wouldn't take the chance of further injuring himself.

"Don't push yourself." Dull mis matched pools watched as Kichiro and his opponent fought, for a moment, Ray thought she couldn't much handle watching the rest of the fights, but she had promised Kichiro and Lazenca that she'd cheer them on.

Even if they didn't notice.

Grunting, Ray would turn, resting her elbows on the railing, a small flag with Kichiro's face printed on it chibified. Twirling it in her fingers she'd whistle. "Go Kichi'."

33The Black Sand Mule

"And it looks like there's a challenge on the play!"

TV viewers would see some instant replay action, and possibly some fourth-wall breaching to see the teams and captains gathering together in an out-of-character format to discuss what actually happened.

"Well, I can certainly see why there's a challenge to this, but it's up for the refs - Judges, I mean - to make a decision."

Meanwhile, Jose-Luis would keep moving, oblivious to the humming sound of the turbines and the heat of the place. Blood was blood, and thanks to the powers of modern healing, it didn't seem to much matter what happened, anyway.

Past the swordsdudes, and he'd vault over the rail and step back, keeping a distance from the fight. No need to get a flag for interfering illegaly or whatever.

34The Crossed Fox

Foot sliced off? No...

Tendons cut? Partially...

Walking? ******** painful!

Kuroha would attempt to continue his retreat, but find that his opponents hit had cut into a very vital tendon, used to support the weight of the normal human. Kuroha would find an ever increasing warm and numbing feeling come over his right leg. A first step would be successful, followed up by his left, but the second time he attempted to step with his right leg would prove useless, having Kuroha fall back. Well motha-f**kin' whoopee, it happened AGAIN! Another healing session after the match then...

As the seering pain shot through Kuroha's right leg, and he clenched hsi teeth, watery eyes would not leave Kichiros figure still. He was intent on doing something here, something... Diabolical....

First though, Kuroha would use his left leg to propel himself at a slight pace backwards, trying to create distance between the two...

35The Black Sand Mule

Striker - Offensive

36The Black Sand Mule

This was going to be fun. Seeing as how Jose-Luis had been behind Kuroha and had moved towards the fight in almost every single post to get behind this Kichiro fellow, it meant one thing and one thing only:

Surprise attack no jutsu.

He'd draw the empty Corona bottle and step forward, holding it by the neck behind his body and upraised as he advanced, footsteps silent thanks to the generators. Being only a few feet away, this'd be rather quick.

Two.

And then the well-built Mexican fighter would perform one simple, direct, and painful action: bring the glass bottle up and around at high speeds as forcefully as he could to shatter it right on the back of his skull.

Three.

Knockout, concussion, or whatever the results would be, he'd drop the bottle, squat, and let his arms wrap around the guy's lower abdomen (about the hip area and behind the arms, giving him a faceful of a**), ready for pain. After all, it might not have induced a sudden onset of pain - Jose-Luis never trusted an opponent.

Four.

"Haaaaaaaa!"

Bellowing with exertion, he would explode up, forward, and towards the rails to boldly lift Kichiro right off the ground, putting his legs into it. Being heavier than his opponent and shorter, Jose-Luis had a lot of strength for a human, and this'd show when he exploded from the ground.

This would not end well, no matter what happened.

He'd start to release and push off with his arms, using all of his considerable weight and momentum to send the right honorable swordsman over the edge, and all the way down to the platform around the turbines in a nice uncontrollable free-fall.

Level 4 all the way down to level 1. Not fatal, but...

Game over, man!

Five.

Jose-Luis would land on his hip and wince at the pain before getting up to his feet, rubbing at the spot to try to relieve it. Another day, another bruise.

37Rain Yupa

Rain would shoot a disapproving glare towards Jose-Luis's tactics upon seeing the striker unfold. However, he was forbidden to react to it, not allowed to striker a striker. So he would have to wait, and bide his time.

So, what was Rain Yupa doing all this time? He could be seen not too far off, on the Base Level, practicing a kata. He was throwing one slow, timed blow after another at the concrete interior wall of the Dam, but never actually contacting it with any of his blows. Some of which looked like regular punches, but others were clearly not at all.

What was Rain practicing for? That, my friends, would be telling.

The spirit of one not of time of judgment was near, and he'd have none of that. The ronin's time was nye. Pulling his blades close as to not lose them, Kichiro prepared for something that'd give the Ronin a bit more time to live.

One wished to interfere, and he could have none of that. Burning with the deepest fires within him, they ripped and roared in an instant ignition over his blades. The left turning blue from the reservoir of holding supplying a hefty quantity of something akin to Moonshine and pure alcohol. Hearing the voice of Ray, Kichiro took a sudden jerk of movement. His foot would be pressing off the railing as Rosa neared, and suddenly Kichiro was leaping over the railing, and launching himself passed the turbine and towards her.

"Hey Ray! I love you!" As Kichiro passed a couple levels, and neared her, the flames over his weapons would spread to cover his form. Being a bit on the bluer side, and near that of a blow torch, Kichiro was sweating quite a bit, and his clothing was beginning to sear again beneath the overcoat.

Near Rain, by one of the turbines, Kichiro would be turning back around in a wide arch from one generator to the next, and headed back towards Kuroha. Blades would be twirling on either side of him, and point towards Kuroha.

The Striker would be long over, as Kichiro waited quite awhile to start maneuvering from his fall.

His flight would slow form some of its highest speeds, leaving a trail of flame in the air behind him, and then fire would begin to bulge at the end of his blade tips. Before Kichiro would start burning himself up, a volley of four fireballs with an explosive punch in a three foot range, would riddle the catwalk Kuroha was on and rid Kichi of the intensity of heat he could not resist. Each fireball at the same strength of taking a well aimed SPARTA KICK to the chest.

Enough to knock someone over, and maybe take their breath away. Two would fly from his left, two from his right. The two from his left were of blue flames, that really hot one, and would fire to the right of Kuroha's legs and to his good leg. The other would mirror, but instead on Kuroha's escape paths.

39The Black Sand Mule

Rephrase, although things can't be un-done.

Jose-Luis'd run to the rails like a crazy ********, swing the bottle, and, of course, miss completely. He'd turn around and walk off, starting to curse. Out of the battal, out of the way.

"DIOS, MARIA, Y TODO LOS SANTOS. PINCHE CABRON! CHINGA TU MADRE! HIJO DE MIL PUTAS!"

He'd go on in this vein for a while, bellowing random obscenities that would be completely unintelligible to anybody who didn't speak Spanish. Although somehow, the general gist would likely be clear, as-

"Maldito sea, esta vida es un asco! Todos los afeminados que utilice la magia, a noche me folle a tu madre por el ano y cago en su leche!"

  • there were some things that were universal to every language.

Turning to Kuroha, he'd keep screaming, although he seemed to not be angry anymore.

"Dale a la madre, compadre!"

Final words?

He'd point at Madden and scream out

"Te meto la verga por el osico para que te calles el pinche puto osico hijo de perra!"

Since this would be broadcast in English, there would be no direct translations. Spanish viewers would just hear

beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

40Rain Yupa

Rain had watched Jose-Luis attempt to ambush Kichiro with the bottle, as stated in his previous post. However, something happened.

Kichiro Oda Wrote:

<snip>

His foot would be pressing off the railing as Rosa neared, and suddenly Kichiro was leaping over the railing, and launching himself passed the turbine and towards her.

<snip>

As Kichiro passed a couple levels, and neared her, the flames over his weapons would spread to cover his form.

Now, it is important to note that Rain had some... bad experiences in the previous round, with Kichiro and his fire. So, when he sees his own teammate conflagrate himself and rocket towards Rain's approximate position, in he had the moment of panic, and this time, he decided that he had to make a stand.

"I'm tired of this fire from this Kichiro!" he bellowed, growling. He backpedalled a few feet back, and suddenly sprinted forward, and running up the side of the wall on the Base Level; he would only make it a couple feet off the ground, but coiled as much as he could while horizontal, and kicked off of the wall, leaping off of it while turning his entire body counter-clockwise.

His upper body would turn first, adding to the centripetal force as he would bring his trailing right leg around, and roundhousing Kichiro before he would impact. Or rather, before he would do his fly-by, but Rain didn't know that. The kick was aimed at the man's left side more than his face, since Rain didn't want to K.O. Kichiro. But he wanted to show him that his captain meant business, and was tired of all this god-damned fire! And thus, he would probably send the airborne teammate careening off course, potentially interrupting all those fireballs as well.

So as Rain would land on the ground in a crouch, he would begin to pat out the leg of his pants which would have clearly caught aflame, glaring at Kichiro. Then it dawned on him.

"... crap! Was I supposed to call Striker for that?"

41Scorpio_Shirica

As Kichiro saw Rain moving along the wall, with all that physical telegraphing, as such maneuvers hinted to martial artists. Kichiro was falling that direction, eyes that way, so he knew what Rain was most likely going to do. He was preparing to intercept Kichi.

He didn't know it'd be a kick, but it was enough to know to speed up. He'd speed up to 70mph, and Rain would be flying through the air at the turbine, as Kichiro continued the actions as stated before with Rain coming through the fire trail behind him.

His flight would slow from its highest speeds, leaving a trail of flame in the air behind him, and then fire would begin to bulge at the end of his blade tips. Before Kichiro would start burning himself up, a volley of four fireballs with an explosive punch in a three foot range, would riddle the catwalk Kuroha was on and rid Kichi of the intensity of heat he could not resist. When Kichiro took to leaping off a railing to near her, her face would take on that of puzzlement, why was he running toward her, or for that matter, running away. Blinking, she'd continue watching him, hands stuffed into the depths of her pockets. She'd be here a while, and hopefully, Laz' wasn't fighting just yet.

"Hey Ray, I love you!"

"Oh boy." Her cheeks tinted red while she'd back away from all cameras panning to her face, zooming in on the red that took in her cheeks. He had to call her out that way didn't he? Well, s'not like it matterd. They were 'lovers' after all.

Grinning, the kappa would smile, blowing the chimagin a small kiss over her shoulder, hey, if he was putting on a show, she'd just go right along with it.

Stupid cameras.

43Rain Yupa

Landing, NOT on fire, having missed Kichiro completely, Rain would scowl, turning around quickly and shaking his fist at his team mate.

"NEXT TIME, ODA! NEEEXXXT TIIIMMMEEE!!!"

Declarations of love. Revenge, flying, fireballs, screaming in CrazySpeak that he couldn't understand. Good stuff all around. Matthew even pulled out a bottle from his jacket. Something he had pilfered from the free hotel swag, which he took a nice long drink from in this small lull in the battle.

After that, he pulled out a small bag of peanuts, munching on them two at a time as he settled in for a long show.

45[Chance]

[ Level Three - Railing ]

Chance leaned against the guard rails, watching with, to say at the very best, mild interest. He wasn't the one out there...It was like watching a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob.

46The Crossed Fox

Well lets see here....

First thing was that Kuroha had been inching his way backwards on the catwalk itself, having not been able to support his weight quite well under the pain of his right leg. However, he had gone far enough, in his opinion, as he watched Jose0Luis attempt to smash a corona bottle off the side of Oda's head. Around that point, where Jose would just miss, and Oda would begin his super-flying dodge thing, Kuroha had shifted the staff into his right hand, grabbed teh railing which was at his left, and pulled himself up off the ground as fast as he could. He would try to stay off of his right leg during this, but he had to let it endure a slight bit to support himself onto his left leg.

From there, Kichiro would have just stopped in mid-air, and would have begun the beginning steps of his attack, great, FIRE!. Kuroha, in unison, would be lifting and supporting his weight totally on his left leg, using the railing as a crutch of some sorts for his support. He was holding teh staff-spear so that its sharper edge was pinted down towards the ground. He'd shift its positioning to that of a javelin hold, keeping it above his shoulder, and his right arm slightly cocked back. Now, it would seem as if his appearing efforts were to be futile, but it was far more thought out.

Tactful Mind: In effect

Yes, very good...

Now came the flames that seemed to be forming. Ah flames...

It reminded him of his pillaging days back when he was a rouge ninja in the meiji province, when his original clan was in dismay. Those were the days...

Well whatever, Kuroha would begin to lean back, bringing his injured right leg back down ever so slowly, and he would ready for what would seem to be a most futile attack. But wait, what was this? Kuroha would watch on at the oddest of sites, keeping his aim and leaned position as steady as he could. Who the hell was this? Could it be? It is!!!!

Rain Yupa!!!

Both fighters and spectators would probably be surprised at Rain's sudden interference, but more so that it had been against his own teammate. Possibly a grudge from the fire attack from before, no?

Well, as fans watched that in awe, Kuroha would smile as he realized that Kichiro would be interrupted by this current event. He timed it, and went off....

Event time!: So, Kuroha had decided to go along and play this by ear, keeping an eye on every one of Kichiros movements. As soon as it was apparent that his flight would speed up towards his side, Kuroha would pull his right arm and hand back, pull hard forward against the railing with his left arm, and let loose the spear to fly on out for its intended destination, his upper body slightly draping over the railing after the throw. Yes, since the inside of the damn wasn't very wide, it was pretty easy to tell where someone would end up if they were to strafe off in the air, and since Kichiro was not exactly far from the catwalk itself, it made it even more of a likely Chance to be successful. If it was, Kichi would find an iron crude spear aimed to pierce right through him. The question was though, where? Probably somewhere around right shoulder, or just under the collar bone at the right most likely. Somewhere around there....

Edit'd in at 2:56 AM Pacific coastal time -8GMT:

Realizing he had just basically thrown away a good weapon, most likely to be destroyed avoided or not, he only had his Yosimoto in his defense. Now, if the attack of his didn't stop Kichiro from continuing on with his techniques, then he would need someway to dodge the apparent incoming fireballs. However, that would be deciphered in the next post of action. For now, the initiation charge for his Aura Cleansing would come about.

Charge 1

Feat Explanation Wrote:

Tactful Mind: Kurohas mind works at a high thinking capacity, granting him a 10% increase in a successful plan or action. This also means that he can plan ahead quite nicely...

Aura Cleansing Wrote:

Aura Cleansing

Kurohas Holy auras have a special property in which they can break down and destroy any and all magic auras, magic based attack, and magical defenses. His aura must be even or greater than the opposing charge length -# of charges- in order to destroy it however. This will nullify any effect a given aura, attack or defense has, and thus render it as if it were never existant.

Against auras, it has a plus effect. So long as Kurohas Aura cleansing stays active, it will hold off and nullify any opposing auras, whether they be poison magic, tainted or black magic, bloodline and negative energies, basically any aura known to the Gaian world. This, in turn makes the air clean and clear to breath, without any reprecautions what so ever.

Its only drawback, however, is that the energy accumulated to break down and destroy the opposing magics, energies or auras, is depleted equal to the amount of turns/charges put into the opponents own magic-based attack or defense...

-3/17-

Side-note: Since you never specified a direction of your dodge, I had to assume it was to your right side, Kurohas left side.[/quote]

47Scorpio_Shirica

With Kichiro falling all the way to the base level, say forty feet from the top, and slowing after coming up from the turbines at the base level, Kuroha would be throwing a spear through fireballs at Kichiro. Kichiro had immediately slowed after beginning his flight back up, so was at level 2 at most, giving him about twenty feet if seeing a spear soar through the air at him.

The Chimagin would see the spear coming back through the flight path of the four exploding fireballs around mid flight, giving him about ten feet of reaction time.

Kichiro did a barrel roll off to the side, the spear coming through the side of his overcoat, and shooting down through it. Only one of the magical fireballs with exploding power were coming directly at Kuroha, at his leg, the other there were coming at the sides and behind him, aiming to hit him with the explosive force of a SPARTA KICK or some of the fire spread in the explosion.

Aura Cleansing may have made him immune to those explosions and magical flames, but the cat walk would shake and rattle from them.

Kichiro would be spinning his blades back to his sheathes beneath a more holy overcoat, after the fireballs were let loose, and he'd be covered in a yellow level of fire after launching off the excess heat towards Kuroha. After doing the barrel roll, he'd be flying the level of three and headed beneath the catwalk, out of Kuroha's line of vision.

My Captain just tried to attack me, right after the enemy's captain.

The candle fire strength of flames which Kichiro could resist, continued pouring from his manipura chakra at level of his solar plexus, ever since the instant ignition, and now would continue to build in quantity. Yellow fire would spread from his chest, leaving scorched cloth to reveal shining metal beneath, but kept under enough of his control not to burn other clothing.

Still lit up in yellow, heavier quantities would spiral around his arms towards his freed hands.

48Rain Yupa

Rain would snort, as Kichiro seemed distraught at Rain attempting to defend himself the way he did. They probably would have caught an awkward staredown eye-contact moment as Kichiro flew by, and on.

Standing up from the crouch he had landed in, he watched his teammate evade the javelin, and begin to build up the flames about him. He seemed... distressed.

"YOU BETTER NOT LIGHT ME ON..." Rain started, sneering at his airborne comrade. "... light me... on..." he suddenly said, eyes wide, pupils darting this way and that as a thought crossed his mind.

"Well, hell..." Rain muttered, facepalming. He had a pretty good idea what was going to be coming. Then he averted his gaze from Kichiro, over to somebody else...

Leaning forward in a sprinting motion, Rain would rocket across the base level of the Dam, over to where he had heard Kichiro shout to someone he apparently loved. Rain would then see the lady friend he noticed in the last match, watching the fight from within the Dam as well.

He would slow then stop beside Ray, grabbing ahold of her forearm. "We've got to go. It's not safe here anymore." he told her calmly. Though he wouldn't force her to go anywhere, he already made motions to get out of the immediate area.

49Just Three Words

Ray blinked, looking at Rain with a confused look, her hand being pulled from pocket of her jeans. Why was Rain talking to her? Who was he? Grunting, Ray smiled, pulling her arm away from him, her hand going back into her pocket. "I'm the last person who needs to worry about water flooding in, or anything else. But sure. If you want me to leave. I'll go. Just lead the way." She'd give him her hand again, willingly following him if he'd lead her.

50Rain Yupa

Rain would nod, and lead her to preferrably higher/est ground, and cover as well. Enough so they could still observe the fight, but at a point where they could take shelter, or even get out of Dodge if Kichiro flipped.

It probably didn't even dawn on Rain that leaing Ray out by her hand might make Kichiro'ssituation worse, not better.

"Don't worry, we're not leaving your boyfriend. Not unless he forces us to." he would explain as he ran, but making sure not to go too fast and get Ray hurt.

51Just Three Words

"I wouldn't even bother to wait for him if he told us to. I'd leave him behind-" A smirk appeared on Ray's face as she ran in pace with Rain, allowing him to lead her around as he pleased, when she looked behind herself, she'd raise her voice. "To die even." Her voice sounded a bit off, and she'd taken on a more darker appearance then just a few seconds ago.

When they'd finally stopped wherever Rain wanted, she'd yawn, watching the fight below them, arms crossed under her chest with her weight shifted to one side. "Tch."

((Off to go now))

52The Black Sand Mule

Madden, in the meantime, would start laughing at Jose-Luis.

"BOOM! He pointed at me!"

Cue camera change to the sudden conflict and the resulting... series of misses, akin to all of the other strikes that had done nothing.

"Hey, if Mike Nolan is watching this, he might want to sign this guy as a running back! He just doesn't seem to ever get hit and when he does, he refuses to go down!"

Cue replay of all of the attempted hits, and the results.

53The Crossed Fox

Wow, another dodge, who didn't see that coming. Some people just don't seem to take a hint...

Well, an elemental fireball seemed to be halfway on its course to Kuroha's position as he righted himself from when he threw the spear. Goody goody, fire! Seeing as Kichiro had aimed low for his ball of flames to strike, it was likely to go for Kuroha's good leg. Everoyne knows that when the other guys crippled, you win, most of the time anyway. Anywho, in a dodge and and his first use of his powers, Kuroha would bend his left leg, grasp firmly against the railing with his left hand, and then hop up into the air, bending back his left leg, and using his left hand to support himself in the air as long as he could. His right arm would shoot out to the right, palm opened, and aimed towards the oncoming fireballs. Now, the nature of his aura would take effect, and show Kichiro that he'd need a bit more power to overcome this. The fireball aimed for his left leg obviously missed, and hit a locked steel cabinet which was behind Kuroha, while the fireballs at the right would suddenly stop, and dicipate in the air, nulling and disintegrating any and all magical auras in the elementals fireballs in a blurred view. So no, nothing would shake except for the single impact behind Kuroha against the cabinet, and instead, using equivalant exchange, Kuroha had shown Kichiro what would happen if such a thing were to happen again.

This turn of events had happened in under a couple of seconds in total, from jump to landing. Wow, and not to mention that Kichiro had probably thought he had eluded Kuroha's senses. Well, sight still caught him moving under that third level. Hurray for the human conditions....

Seeing as Kuroha could do nothing in offense, with his right leg maimed pretty badly, and his spear now thrown, He'd begin to hobble himself off to the steps leading over to the third level catwalk, but would go no further. His righ leg would slowly come down once again, and He would also begin to concentrate, and focus any and all of his rage, pain, and hurt into one area. He'd put as little pressure on his right leg as he could for now also. A new side was soon to emerge...

Charge 1 (one charge used)

((Again, you did not specify which side you launched your fireballs at, and thus I had to make another assumption...))

Rain had blamed Kichiro for the lightning gun fanning Kichi's flames towards him. Rain had blamed Kichiro, for waking from being knocked out, to see Matthew in trouble, while Rain only stood there, and did something to attempt to save him.

When Kichi had fallen asleep again, his wakening would be with Matthew's death. Rain was trying to kill the team.

Kichiro's dodges had been so difficult too.

A man swinging a blunt end of a spear up at his chin, while throwing a Sparta Kick between two swords.

Another stormed fast enough on a metal catwalk to get to Kichiro within ten seconds from the sidelines, after starting off the fight in front of him, and moving along the sidelines the entire time.

At the last, the man had thrown a spear down exactly where Kichiro was looking from after flying from the bottom of a large dam towards the top, only a retard would fly straight into it.

"This swordsman was a joke! Using a spear like a child, and both captains have attacked me! So now JUDGMENT!!!"

Kichiro's constant build of fire continued, while he continued back away from Kuroha over the turbines, and up towards the top of the dam. Before some concrete had been taken off the top, weakened the overall integrity of the dam, and workers had been trying their best to fix the damage too it.

Spirit Speak.- Wrote:

All of the spectators would feel a sudden message go into them, much like telepathy, giving them reason to book out of the Dam.

While Kuroha was limping with his maimed leg towards the stairs to level three, Kichi had flown towards the center of the dam away from it, and upwards. Kichiro blasted up passed level four, left hand down, with right hand upwards.

Careful to put one of the catwalks between himself and Rain as well, after the sudden act of betrayal.

A large fireball shot down into the center turbine, exploding, and causing breaks in the pumping from shrapnel and power meeting mechanical failures. Same time, a large fireball would punch through the weakened area at the top with another explosion, and large slabs of concrete would come slamming down against catwalks, and against other turbines.

The Chimagin himself had parts of shrapnel, support beams, and other things used to keep the top of the dam in tact coming to hit him. His skin was exposed wherever there wasn't armor, cuts, and blood running down before it was turned dark red from fire cauterizing the wounds.

Water would come crashing in through cracks from the explosions and structural damage at the top. Kichiro was at the top in a hole in the dam, while water rushed in around him, looking down at those who dared to surround and attack him.

Cameras would catch something of a yellow flame at the center of the dam from outside, with large amounts of steam flying off from when water hit his fire. Kichiro himself would be spinning in a fast 70mph spiral, fire continuing to build from him, while the dam was basically being blown up by him.

"Bloody hell! He's going to do it! Missy, you heard him, get going!" he yelled as Kichiro began his flight. He would look over at the snacking Matthew, pointing in the direction of the stairwell in. "YOU TOO! GET GOING! HELP ANY BYSTANDERS! I'M GOING TO TRY TO STOP HIM!" Rain barked at him, before turning to face the direction Kichiro was in.

Like before, he would lean forward in a sprinting position, and there would be a low, resonant hum as he coiled his muscles, his bio-electricity building within them. Then at once, in a shower of sparks, he would bolt across the catwalk of Level 4, actually step-hopping up onto the railing to run across it as people ran by him in the other direction. He wasn't going recklessly fast, just fast enough to get him across as fast as possible. But not fast enough to stop the fireballs from being launched.

In a rain of debris and machinery, Rain was forced to stop and shield his vital areas with his arms. Several pieces of shrapnel would cut through his flesh, but nothing too terribly painful. It was the force of the dual explosions that prevented him from running and skidding over a railing, pushing him back, tumbling head over heels backwards a couple feet.

Getting up as quickly as he could, he would jog forward normal speed, to the nearest railing where he could look up at Kichiro, the Dam beginning to come apart around him, the thunderous rumbling of water beginning to echo throughout the structure.

"KICHIRO ODA!!" Rain would shout at him, shielding his eyes from the brightness of the man's flames. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?! PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF THIS!! NOT JUST US, BUT PEOPLE OUT THERE,", pointing a finger at the far wall of the Dam, "PEOPLE WHO DON'T EVEN KNOW NOR CARE ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT!! YOU HAVE TO STOP THIS!! YOU HAVE TO..."

...

"... ******** it. Both bracers, dispense 30 feet." And he would kneel down, reaching for his left ankle.

56Rain Yupa

STRIKER - OFFENSIVE

57Rain Yupa

With his FIGHTER activated, Rain would stand tall, flicking his arms out to his sides, 30 feet of steel cable being released from his bracers. Kichiro was his responsibility, and he had to do something about him, while there was still time to do... anything.

Rain would begin a menacing approach across the catwalk of Level 4, his arms moving up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start all around, his cable whips lashing this way and that. Feinting motions, to keep them mobile, to keep Kichiro from knowing their directions of travel, their times of attacks, their very speed.

And as Rain walked, he would emit a light, as he would begin to charge the bioelectricity in his body, causing him to pick up more speed. After about 6 seconds of striker, he would be moving unnaturally fast, his upper body becoming near-impossible to trace with human eyes. Even at one point, a chunk of concrete seemed to hit him, but ended up passing through him as if he was some sort of ghost.

Needless to say, the whips wouldn't be very easy to trace either, as the only proofs of their presences would be the thunderous cracks they would create, barely audible over the crumbling groan of failing concrete. Then Rain would shout three words, before his charge:

"Security Measure, Gamma!!!" The impact of those words might mean a significant amount to Kichiro.

Quote: Security Measure: Gamma

Upon this third security mode, Rain's biorganic batteries now feed a continual steady stream of electricity to the rest of his body. His speed is continually heightened as all his nerves are faster to respond. He also has an "electrical aura" about him in this stage. Its nothing like an electrical fence or something equally dangerous on its own, but just being near it causes electrical zaps to occur, hindering most unarmed opponents greatly as they have trouble closing with him. Some unprotected/extra sensitive machines will also short out when in close proximity to him.

Rain was now enveloped in an aura of electricity, very similar to Kichiro's fire aura. With only two seconds left to his striker, he would suddenly charge forward, leaping off of the nearest railing, off one of those big green steel capacitors on Level 4, off a large, falling piece of concrete, then finally airborne, passing beneath the hole Kichiro was flying up into.

It took a lot of concentration to maintain his upper body's motions while moving his lower body to transport him to that space in time. And an unhealthy amount of adrenaline. It wouldn't matter as the timer inched by the millisecond closer to 10 seconds. He would then lash his 30' ropes upward with great conviction, looking to wrap them around Kichiro's torso (with his right whip) and leg (with his left). And with those steel cable whips, several kilowatts of electricity per second being pumped out of them into Kichiro, if they hit.

"BOTH BRACERS, DETACH!" he would bellow, as both cables would come free of his bracers, and he would begin his descent, right at the 10 second mark. "SECURITY MEASURE, ALPHA!" And then his aura would fade.

58Scorpio_Shirica

Kichiro wasn't going to see whips, while spiraling at 70mph, in flames, while water and debri was crashing all around him. He'd sense Rain's spirit for what it was worth, but there was too much going on for him to really do anything about it. It was like, knowing of a pebble in a cluster ******** of steam, debri, and everything else.

Because of Kichiro's spiral, they wouldn't be able to get an exact grip on him, not like Rain had intended.

The one shooting for his torso would knock against either, one of the two tanto hilts protruding from either side of his hip at the back, or the two wakizashi sheathes from the front of his torso at either side. Kichiro would be knocked in his spiral towards one of the walls of water rushing in. The other would glance off his boot with its metal plates, doing a lot of brunt force damage, along with the electricity for its very brief glancing blow.

He'd scream in pain, the electricity from only glancing would be enough to hurt a bit, but the fact that he was knocked into the water turrent while covered in flames, made him get blasted with steam burns.

"You...." Kichiro just went with physics as steam blasted him back to where he was, continuing his spiral in a dam near pinball effect as he controlled his flight back to the center of the hole in the top of the dam, bloody and pissed he shouted back at Rain, "...will not kill ME!!!!"

The Chimagin roared, and he used the heat surrounding himself from the steam to help fuel his fire, and water would spiral around the fire cyclone that had just gotten a jump start. Kichiro was a man that had used fire all his life, he was use to the burns, and use to the pain.

For the past three days, he had nothing but sleep and food along with white mage heals. In the previous fight, he'd been sleep deprived and weak.

With everyone out to get him, Kichiro was bringing the Dam down, and he'd dam not being going with it.

59The Crossed Fox

Kuroha's channeling filtered out any and all noises around him for teh time being, and when he finished doing so, it would seem he could stand on his right leg once more, but how? Was it healing? No....

In fact, it was another one of his Feats!

smilies/icon_scream.gif Glorious Soul, Activate!!!! smilies/icon_scream.gif

Kuroha's muscles would bulge and tighten, everything becoming harder and stronger in his body. Sure, his tendons were ripped, but that did not stop the rest of his leg from supporting him up for now. His calfs and thighs would tighten up, his weight still being put onto most of his left leg, but not as much. His thinking process dropped by 20% by using this feat of his, however, he had exchnaged that for a 25% increase in brute strength, Stamina and endurance, Speed and agility, which meant only one thing. Kuroha had combined his smaller masqueline and speedy form, with that of half of a HUEG GAI! Yes, HUEG GAI, the one thing most would never have thought of him. However, by the time he had regained his sense of hearing, he had seen two things.

  1. People Running in terror

and

  1. s**t falling from the sky

Time to go!!!

Those words rang in his head like there was nothing else within it, and even for a reduced brain equal to that of a tactical brute, it was common sense when to know when to leave. Though it'd hurt, Kuroha

s adrenaline kicked in at a severe speed, and his first reaction was to get down those steps. He hopped down, landing into a roll, and possibly damaging his leg even more so, and from there he broke into am agile run. About halfway down the third level catwalk, a very large chunk of steel support had fallen straight through it, creating a gap of over seventeen feet. Kuroha would near within ten feet, then lean his weight towards the the ever crumbling stone wall of the dam. He enared the gap, quickly leaned to his left, and dove straight in for another rolling landing onto teh second level platform.

Again quickly righting himself, Kuroha would get over to the second level railing, grab onto what appared to be a curved steel support on teh side of the catwalk, and get himself over onto it. It was thin, almost too thin, and yet he managed with his heightened agility. He'd jump off, grab it with both of his hands, stop his momentum, and drop to the level one catwalk.

Almost there....

Kuroha would immediately dive over the first platform railing, land into a third roll, right next to his pole it would seem. He'd grab it and head for the exit, the adrenaline holding back everything he had done to his right leg. Oh was he in for quite the pain trip in a couple minutes. Looks like no more fights were to unfold here. Wonder what would happen to those poor people below the Dam though, awww.....

[quote"Glorious Soul Feat"]Glorious Soul: This technique invigorates Kuroha to an amazing extent, pumping the battle ready adrenaline into him, and allowing him to increase his agility, speed, Stamina, and strength by a total of 25%, while lowering his common sense by 20%. A warrior with the intent to die in battle, is one who will die gloriously...[/quote]

5/17 -end-

60Just Three Words

So Ray had run, like he had told her to. Grabbing people by the hands when they lagged or had fallen behind. The water didn't bother her, neither did the damn falling apart. It was her not being able to watch the fight that had taken place.

And why the hell would Kichiro be pissed?

For that matter.

Why was the team against one another?

Stupid rivals.

"I guess Kichiro really is pissed. I wonder if he'll take it out on me." Grinning, the kappa would continue to run, her smile growing bigger and bigger.

Maybe she'd get to see that wulf man again.

61Scorpio_Shirica

Kichiro continued spiraling, half his body covered in steam burns, most his clothing ripped or burnt off, and was covered in a cyclone of steam and flames. A majority of his body was also cut with debri or with blisters from areas of built up heat, or snapping cables. A large bruise was on his leg from where the one glanced off.

It wouldn't be long before he couldn't handle the heat, and he knew it, so he blasted off towards the sky. The fire he propelled himself upwards with, would explode behind him in the fire cyclone he'd been working on since Rain charged across the catwalk from the sidelines.

More structural beams would fall into the turbines, with more slabs of concrete falling inwards from the top. All the spectators would be booking with workers since Kichiro soared too the top, blasting that spiritual message.

What was inside as Kichiro flew off, would be nothing but carnage, as thousands of pounds of water would rush in. A yellow streak across the sky, likely followed by hundreds of flags, the Chimagin wouldn't care.

He knew Ray could swim, and would be looking for her around the dam, as he soared back around.

6/17

62themightyjello

And then Kichiro's hallucination ended.

He'd blown up a turbine in the generator room. The generator would be turned off to avoid damaging it any further. No shrapnel would go flying, because Kichiro's 'candle fire' balls would not be enough to knock holes in the several dozen meters of concrete between him and the outside world.

Some debris would fall, from the catwalks and chipped pieces of concrete, but no one here had the power necessary to blast holes in these walls.

No one.

Fire? Water? Shrapnel?

Kichiro was throwing the fire.

Shrapnel was flying off from the things Kichiro struck, or all the panic that ensued afterwards.

And the water? Internal plumbing. Even dams have bathrooms, and there are still pipes that can rupture when people start blasting randomly at walls and machinery.

63Scorpio_Shirica

Kichiro bonked his head as he hit meters thick of concrete, realizing that the water was actually just from internal plumbing pipes breaking around him. Kuroha had run away once Kichiro started tossing his fireballs.

See crazy s**t when you are angry.

The shrapnel and everything musta really scared all those people, and Kichi's shouting.

So, now he was looking down towards Rain, really angry, and steam burnt from toilet water. Ending his spiral, Kichiro looked towards Rain, and yellow flames gathered at his hands.

"RAIIIINNNN!!!"

64-HoH- Judge

There was a tap on Kichiro's right shoulder.

"Attacks directed at the stands. Kichiro Oda. Red Card."

The Judge produced a soggy, red slip of paper and smacked it onto Kichi's forehead; it was plenty sticky with all the toilet water and reservoir water that had poured into the area through the pipes.

"Did you bring your water wings?"

Then Kichiro would suddenly find himself SUPLEXED over the railing and down into the pool of water that had grown in the bottom of the Generator Room from all the pipes Kichiro had burst when flinging fire everywhere.

"...because you're OUTA HERE! Kichiro Oda! Blue Card!"

And a blue roll of toilet paper was hurled at his head.

Turning to the cameras, the Judge shouted boldly the declaration on match conditions.

"Kuroha has fled the scene. His fight is forfeited. Kichiro is disqualified. His fight is forfeited. Double KO."

65The Black Sand Mule

Jose-Luis would have one thing to say, and one thing only.

"Dude."

66[Chance]

[ Level Three - Railing ]

Synonymous with Jose's awe-inspiring and Grammy Award winning speech, Chance offered a similar statement.

He pumped his right arm. "Yes!" His head nodded in agreement.

"Righteous."

It was that awesome.

67[Chance]

[ Level Three - Railing ]

Chance soon recovered from the shock that was the PWNAGE of Kichiro. Hazel hues wandered off to focus on Rain Yupa. "Yu....Puh. Yu.....Puh..." He sounded it out multiple times to himself, laughing each time.

68Arcturus Highwind

"Wow..."

Mass Hysteria, hallucinations, the formation of a rivalry that should prove to make the lodging situation very interesting, just like a nice old style Tragedy. Somehow he had even avoided the shrapnel and fire. Probably because he was Out of the Way, trying to hide from anyone that would bother him and not chilling out with Rain.

So many people had fled though that he was left nearly alone on the walk he had taken up. With a shrug of his shoulders he munched down on his snackfood again, awaiting the next part of the pyrotechnics show.

"My fight wasn't near that colorful..." he muttered to himself.

69The Crossed Fox

Kuroha'd pop back in, knowing that his fleet would have ended in catastrophe anyway, and made it in time to at least hear the judgement. Well, a double KO was better than Kichi winning, right? Plus, his antics were totallly unacceptalbe. If glorious soul had not been activated, for that matter, Kuroha would have obviously stayed just within the arena. next to the exit, jus in case. But, alas, hs actions were already done, and he could not take them back. Hmm, with this excessive damage, could there be a second fight? Was Rain even willing to fight after that? With no striker present, and with Kichi's disqualification, there would be a very drastic disadvantage for him. Well, he would see in whatever due time was necessary.

For now, he'd walk his still bulging muscled self over to Jose and Chance, and when he would arrive, he'd have to sit, brcause he could feel all of that pain and more coming back from his little acrobatics show just a few moments before...

70Rain Yupa

Rain would tuck and roll at the last moment before impacting the ground, coming up with a fancy, albiet slightly painful tumble. He would look up, afraid of seeing Kichiro release some sort of ultimate attack.

Only to see him get suplexed by the Judge, and blue-carded out of the tournament. Rain really expected to feel disappointed by that, but after what just happened, he couldn't disagree that it was for the best.

Dusting himself off, he would look around, seeing his sunglasses had falled off and broke from all the hullabaloo. Nearby, lay his pair of cables, strung out over the ground, having not been able to latch onto Kichiro. He would walk over, pick up one and hold it to one bracer, muttering the verbal command to reattach it, then repeating with the other. Finally, he would order them to retract, pulling them back into the bracers, before he would sigh, and look over at the three members of team Pwn't.

Looking over his shoulder at Matthew, he frowned, before turning and approaching the three members of that team. Being at least 4 inches taller and 20-60 lbs heavier than any of their members, he would be considered somewhat of a big dude.

Which made things that much more awkward when he would suddenly get on his knees, and bow before the three of them.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that we've dishonored your fighter, and your team. It wasn't supposed to be this way. I'm... sorry." he would repeat one last time. He would then sit up on his knees, still frowning, but directing his attention towards Jose-Luis.

"There's not much I can do to salvage this experience for you, I'm afraid. But the least I can offer is, for the next match, you may set any conditions for it, and I will agree to them. Anything you want."

71The Black Sand Mule

"Eh, I didn't mind. Is gonna play hella good on tha replays, but... I ain't sure. If ya can gimme a few minutes ta consult with my team, we can answer - 'side from one thing I think, now: make it awesome."

Jose-Luis smiled encouragingly. Sometimes life was a b***h, as he'd vocalized quite loudly earlier. With a shrug, he idly wondered if it were possible to offer the guy a position on his own team, but he put that aside. For the moment, it was now battle time.

Giving a half turn to his team, he would hold up his hands and shrug, awaiting their input.

72[Chance]

[ Level Three - Railing ]

Chance was up and away from the rest of the team, as well as Yupa. "I think we should just get going already!" he called from above, leaning over the railing.

73The Crossed Fox

Kuroha would simply wave it off with a nod, and return to coping with the pain he had inflicted on himself.

Take a railroad spike, put it to the back of your leg, jam it into your leg with a sledgehammer. Doesn't feel good, right? Well try taking it out and repeating that process three more times. Yeah, that was the pain he felt right now.

74Arcturus Highwind

"Come on! Crowds want to see some blood, sweat, and tears!" Matthew would have called out from his position. If it weren't for the fact he still didn't want to draw attention to himself. So no, he didn't speak. But instead finished off his drink, crumpled up the bag of peanuts, and squirreled them away in his jacket for later disposal.

Time to see if El Capitan could live up to his title.

75Rain Yupa

((In an effort to expediate things...))

Rain would stand, looking from Kuroha, then Jose-Luis, then up to Chance. "Very well then. Let's show these people the meaning of the word fight, shall we?" His face would remain neutral, poker facing the situation. He would give one more look towards Pwn't's captain, to ensure he had no other conditions, before he would turn, and slowly, gradually, make his way up the stairs, from the Base Level, up each level until he reached Level Three.

Taking his time, of course, to let his body relax from the physical exertion he put in at the end of Kichiro's match, of course.

After reaching Chance's location, he would pause, then extend his right hand, showing it was empty. He would then approach Chance slowly, nodding to him. "Here's to a good match, aye?"

76[Chance]

[ 1 ]

[ Level Three - Beside Railing ]

Chance turned to watch Yupa rise from the lower levels.

Some time passed, and Vice-Captain met Captain. Hazel hues looked down to Yupa's hand. Empty. A brief shake was allowed before Chance backed away, twisting and twirling the crowbar in his left hand.

The same maniacal grin seen in his previous match resurfaced. A flash of gapped pearly whites, and he was off.

Chance leaned forward and ducked down. The curved sharp prongs of the crowbar were faced away, leaving a blunt instrument to deal with. A horizontal strike across the gut, more precisely the ribcage. It came in the form of a backswing, right to left.

[ Crowbar: Drawn ]

77Rain Yupa

{Level 3}

Rain would meet the shaked hand, before stepping back himself, taking on a fighting stance; with Chance's crowbar in his left hand, Rain would have his right facing the man. His right forearm was vertical in front of him, clenched tightly in a fist; his left, at his side/abdomen, parallel with the scaffolding, palm up and hand open. His right foot would be leading.

As Chance would charge with the crowbar a-swinging, Rain's right hand would begin to glow a bit, as he would open up his fist into a flat palm. As the crowbar would begin its horizontal cut from left to right, Rain would step back, bending his right elbow to his side, bits of energy and electricity flowing over his skin.

As the crowbar would narrowly miss, he would thrust his right hand out after it, palmblowing the middle of the steel. Rain was not expecting to knock it from his opponent's grip, but the electricity that was building on his right hand would be gone. Where to, might you ask?

Why, into the curved steel of the crowbar. Not to electricute Chance at all, but to ionize the steel to carry the same electrical charge that Rain carried.

Rain would then step forward with his right again, bringing up his left hand from his side into a fist, looking to uppercut Chance sharply on his chin. With a 46 lb. difference, the force of the blow would be impressive, if it landed.

1/17

78[Chance]

[ 2 ]

Chance stumbled back with his teeth clenched. The hard uppercut had merely woken him. Though the first hit had actually helped him, following strikes would prove detrimental to his health.

With a similar grip as before, Chance lifted the base of the steel level with his head and swung right to left, diagonally with the prongs following. God willing, Rain would feel the sting of cold steel on the side of his neck.

The reach Chance currently held was far beyond Yupa's. A significant advantage.

79Rain Yupa

{Level 3}

And Chance would be very disappointed. As Rain had ionized the crowbar to go from a neutral to a negative electrical charge, the same exact polarity of the bioelectricity his own body produced on a heightened level, it would do what all similarly ionized objects do: they would repel one another.

However, Rain being almost 50 times the crowbar's weight, the magnetic push against him would be minor compared to what would happen to the crowbar. It would be like slamming it against an invisible elastic forcefield.

Rain would take this opportunity to reach out with his left hand quickly to snag Chance's right forearm, while using his right to reach around and snag the backside of Chance's skull, gripping the man's hair between his fingers. And he would grin.

Then proceed to headbutt Chance in the face repeatidly at close range.

2/17

80Arcturus Highwind

"Go Rain! Molest him with yer RoboTentacles!"

Said some faceless fan from the crowds with bright violet punk styled hair and several piercings.

Matthew shook his head at that and pulled out his next 'snack'. Looked like a polish dog loaded up with toppings wrapped in that nice foil he was currently unraveling.

81[Chance]

[ 3 ]

Chance quirked a brow when his left arm was repelled. He didn't even bother to look at it. The puzzled look continued while Chance's right foot rose into the air just before Rain's arrival.

CRUNCH

Chance slammed his heel just above Rain's leading kneecap.

If the man continued forward and pressed on with his attack, he might have the time to see the four knuckles inbound to Rain's jaw.

The crowbar wielding hand lowered ever so slowly.

82Rain Yupa

{Level 3}

As Rain had stepped forward with his left, Chance's right foot would rise, and stomp down on the top of his kneecap. A blow that would normally shatter a man's knee if delivered right. But Rain was not normal.

The crushing blow would hurt like a b***h, but Rain's secondary endoskeleton, steel-alloyed self would help cushion the blow; plus, Rain was just stepping down when the kick was delivered (a la "just before Rain's arrival"), so he was hardly braced enough on it for the damage to be critical. Stomping on something still airborne isn't as dangerous as something landborne, after all. So, for the time being, Rain's kneecap would remain intact.

However, the applied, continued pressure to Rain's leg wouldn't help things any. Despite the height advantage, Chance's leg reach would be greater than Rain's arm reach, so he would be unable to snag him for that Flurry-Of-Headbutts monk class ability. Plus, if the man leaned forward, that would probably snap Rain's knee like a twig.

In combat, priorities change; so foregoing the headbutts, Rain would instead grab the edges of Chance's foot with both hands, hooking the tips of his fingers beneath the man's shoe. And with an impressive feat of strength, Rain's muscles would buldge momentarily as he would force the foot and leg up and off his braced left. This would send Chance reeling back hopefully, giving time for Rain to back up himself. Though obviously favoring his left leg now.

3/17

83Arcturus Highwind

Random Fan #2 was a overweight guy, in a white tank top, stained by sweat and food of who knows how many days and meals past. He was holding in his right hand a pole, upon which waved a white flag with a hastily and crudely drawn crowbar in ketchup from a spare packet.

"Man up and beat his a**!" he cheered.

"As if that punk could win. He's just about out already!" called back the Punk Haired Random Fan Number 1.

"Pssh. You just wish Rain would molster you!"

"... shut up!"

Almost looked like a fan brawl was about to break out in the Mover Dam as the two Random fans got out of their seats and started shouting back at one another.

84[Chance]

[ 4 ]

Chance continued his downward pressure until Rain leaned down to grab his foot. Before his fingers could even wrap around it, his knee skyrocketed. With any luck Rain would face a devastating knee strike to the throat, since he hadn't looked down. That was a potential KO right there.

Over eight-hundred pounds of force can be placed into a knee strike from the average man. Imagine that force pressed onto a man's throat.

Chance hopped backwards clearing the distance. That could be the end, right there.

85Rain Yupa

{Level 3}

True, Rain would be keeping a watch for Chance's upper body more than the lower; however, it would not leave him blind to the incoming knee. Or rather, not while he still had contact with it.

Not necessarily with his hands, but with his OWN knee. To deliver such a blow, there has to be either acceleration, or some built-up force. You just can't lift your knee and do any damage. So when Rain would feel Chance foot pressing down on his own knee like a makeshift springboard, it wouldn't take a rocket surgeon to know what was coming.

Rather than make an attempt to catch it with his hands, he used the opportunity to spring back, throwing his whole upper body back while kicking off with both newly-freed legs. Not the most graceful of dodges, but enough to keep the knee from contacting; otherwise, the fight would be over.

Rain would tumble backwards once, going literally head over heels, landing in a crouch before jumping back a few more feet, landing in a standing position once again. Chance was not the only athlete in this fight.

Rain would extend both arms out at his sides, as one would do before offering someone a big hug. His palms would be open, and scowling, he would shout out "Both bracers, dispense five feet!"

And with that, he would flick his forearms forward, 5' of steel cable lashing out from the undersides of his steel cables, hopefully disrupting any charge Chance might begin after his hop backwards, or at least get them fully extended.

4/17

86[Chance]

[ 5 ]

Given that the knee was not successful, Chance did not hop back. Instead, he pressed on. Far before Rain had activated his steel tentacles, Chance lurched forward to capitalize on the petty evasion his opponent had enacted.

"You're mine." he said, mid-flight. The familiar glint of steel was found in the clutches of his right hand, slipped from his gloves.

With the distance between them now closed, and Rain's backward tumble still partially complete, Chance issued a slash with his right hand as Rain began to stand upright. The small razor in his hand was aimed to cut his opponent right down the middle of the face. From lip to forehead, between the eyes. Superficial damage of course. Meanwhile his left hand hung back, crowbar in tow.

Finally blood. Finally.

[ Crowbar: Drawn - Left hand ]

[ Razorblade: Drawn - Right hand ]

87Rain Yupa

{Level 3}

Since Rain had tumbled backwards, landing on a crouch before leaping back into a standing position, Chance would have to swing pretty low to catch Rain in the face. Having waited until Rain's 'backward tumble still partially complete', and his tumble in itself would not end standing, Chance would have to throw a lot of his upper body downward to slash that far across Rain's face, since he struck forehead to lip (not "lip to forehead" on a downward strike smilies/icon_razz.gif ).

Not saying that the man wouldn't land his slash true. Just that his upper body would be bent so far forward, he would be hard pressed to continue an advance without falling flat on his face, especially after a Lurch like that.

Rain would take this opportunity to leap back another time after his inital leap-back, knowing Chance would not be there to follow up with a second strike immediately. Gritting his teeth angrily, he would still swing his arms out to his sides, and call out his WHIPS. Not tentacles. WHIPS.

As blood would begin to flow freely down Rain's face, he would begin to lash his steel cable whips forward at Chance; Right arm lashing forward, while bringing his left up over his shoulder. He would follow up by bring his right arm over his right shoulder, and lashing out with his left. He would repeat this 1-2 combo, using the weighted ends of the cables to tear strips of Chance's flesh right off his body for each lash that would connect.

Rain would aim more for the Chance's torso during the flurry, until he would have the rhythm of the man's body movements pinned down. The more central the hit location, the less likely he would be to evade them, especially on such a narrow battlefield as the walkway.

If Chance was to advance, Rain would backpedal. If Chance was to retreat, Rain would follow. Either way, he would be favoring his left leg as he would go.

5/17

88[Chance]

[ 6 ]

[ Level Three ]

With his continual push forward, Chance paused, only for a moment. Blood sprayed upward, covering both men. The familiar maniacal grin formed. Red on white. His right foot rose in what seemed like slow motion and in the same style popular in Sparta. Chance kicked.

Time normal to the realm of Gaia was restored. Chance dodged to his right as a whip cut him across his left arm. He gasped in pain as the leather of his jacket gave way and flesh was wrought from his body. "Gah!" His right shoulder slammed into the concrete wall. Chance used it to push himself into the air, and did a remarkable side flip with a half twist over the railing to a smoking turbine down below.

He miscalculated.

His feet slammed hard into the concrete, near thirty feet below him. Immediately his knees gave way and the brunt of the impact was funneled through his left arm.

CRACK!

"Argh!" screamed the man, writhing in agony and clutching his ruined limb. "God..." He sucked on his teeth, his face turning red.

He continued to squirm on the concrete floor. Blood pooling from his left. Chance breathed deep, looking up to the third level where Rain was most likely just starting to rise. He'd fallen to the base.

The crowbar that was once clutched in his left hand skidded to the far side of the catwalk on the third level, just below its owner, Jose. The razor was still in Chance's very capable hands.

89Rain Yupa

{Level 3}

Seeing Chance push off the wall and leap off of the catwalk of the third level, Rain would stop his whipping barrage, and blink. "... well, that was rash." He would wince again, and hold his left hand up to his face, feeling the gash across the center. "Engh... a razorblade? What does he think he is, some sort of street punk gangster? Kids these days... this is going to hurt for the next few days, that's for sure."

Wiping his bloody fingers on his shirt, Rain would look over the ledge, observing Chance's condition. Apparently, the man had not made as graceful of a landing as he would have liked. Which made Rain frown more. He would pull his hands up close to his face, whispering to them. "Left bracer, retract five feet. Right bracer, dispense twenty-five feet." Pulling his arms away, the left cable whip would be pulled into his bracer, and the other one would feed out, to his maximum length of thirty feet.

Shaking the cable so it was not caught on anything, he would walk along the edge of the catwalk on Level 3, looking upwards to make sure there was none of those red steel support beams across the ceiling directly above him, so he'd have plenty of room. He would then turn his attention down towards Chance once again.

One brief look in both directions to take note on Jose-Luis's and Kuroha's locations, he would then call downwards at chance. "YOU REALLY DON'T LOOK LIKE YOU'RE IN ANY CONDITION TO CONTINUE. PLEASE SUBMIT NOW SO WE CAN GET THOSE WOUNDS TREATED, AYE?"

If Chance gave any sort of indication that he wanted to continue (stalling for time was not it), Rain would reel his right arm back over his shoulder, gripping the very base of the steel cable whip with his right hand, and lash the 30' long piece of steel downward towards Chance; as easily as Rain could end the match with a blow to the skull, it could possibly kill the man, so he would aim for the man's lower back. With all the squirming, it would be harm to aim precisely, but Rain would be TRYING to avoid any lashing blows to the man's spine.

After the lash, Rain would speak to his bracer, retracting the whip back into his bracer, before having it dispense again. Then he would ask again for Chance's submission.

Meanwhile, he would be keeping half an eye for incoming strikers. Heck, if there was ever a time Chance would probably need it, now would be it.

Things That Are Good To Know Wrote:

Unfortunately for Rain, Chance was out of range. The distance from level three to the base level was an agreed thirty feet. That meant that if Chance had been lying directly below his opponent, the bracers could reach him. But Chance was not directly below Rain. He was thirty feet below him, also nearly fifteen feet away from the rails he had leapt over. That and he was behind a very large turbine.

Rain was going to have to come down in order to receive his lickin'.

Again, unfortunately for Rain, Chance had sliced him good. From lip to forehead as said. Given that facial tissue is not very thick, one could safely assume that the razor could have easily cut into the bone (Or cartilage of the nose). Rain's nose would be nearly split in two, as would his lip, and forehead. The forehead was of major concern. Especially because blood would drip down through his eyes. Speech would be impeded, what with the mutilation of the lower and upper lip.

In an act of defiance, Chance flipped Rain the bird. "I should ask you the same thing! You don't look too good yourself!" he called up.

Chance rolled over to his right shoulder and slowly got to his feet, his back against the turbine. Blood flowed freely from the gash in his twisted, beaten arm. It hung there like an empty husk, dripping wet.
