Stage6: BLOODBATH

Missile Silo

The same as it always has been, the same as it always will be.

Welcome to the BLOODBATH. An abandoned missile silo, kept immaculately clean is the grounds for combat. A platform of steel grating is raised above what appears to be the only soiled spot of the complex; a pit of crusted blood at the very bottom of the silo.

.

Terrain

General - The grating is solid. Fighting area measures as a thirty feet diameter circle at the bottom of the silo, closed off with a layer of perforated bulletproof glass twenty feet above the platform.

Weapons - None

Bonus Effects - BLOODBATH rules in effect. All abilities completely barred (This includes equipment). Enhanced physical stats barred (If you look like a skinny ******, you are as strong as a skinny ******). Thrown weapons barred. Maximum two melee weapons per fighter. Extra limbs barred from use.

2Sey

This place gave her the chills.

As soon as she set foot in the place, Sey wanted to run right back the way she came; skin crawling, urge to puke rising as the realization of the rules sunk into the White Mage's mind. All abilities completely barred.

She couldn't even heal someone to death!

Looking more like a lost member of the swarm of media and adoring fans then a competitor in the bloody fighting tournament, Sey sighed and shuffled her way just outside the fighting area, black dragonhide boots clacking against the metal grate and the only thing remotely fighter like in her supercute outfit; black hair in pigtails with the white dress and light blue vest doing nothing to help her gain any INTIMIDATION points - though if you looked a little closely, there was a bit of blood and dirt on her still from her attempts at separating James and Stryphe during their MANRY fight in the hotel. Whimpering a little as she tapped her FIGHTER located proudly on her left wrist, Sey pouted a bit as it still said the same goddamn glaring letters that it did when she woke up at the hotel.

Code: Team Ugly Bastards - Bloodbath Missile Silo

"Well crap." She wined to the empty arena, slightly mindful of the cameras that were an extension of the mob of media that was waiting outside. It seemed like there was no one here... Yet.

Oh well~! Whipping out her blue cell phone with several cute charms attached to it, the little mage began furiously texting someone.

Code: Good luck. I love you.

3Valentine R Hoskuo

STRIKER OFFENSIVE!

4Valentine R Hoskuo

The sexiest man of Heaven or Hell had decided something, he had best come to the arena early. He had a plan, a very malicious one for the first person to come in. The man was hiding for the time being, that was until a woman had entered into the room. Now, he just needed his opportunity. What was this? She was checking her FIGHTER? PERFECT! It was then Valentine would press the button on his own to initiate his offensive striker. The woman had gone straight from checking her FIGHTER to texting. Oh man, this was awesome! He'd make sure to interrupt her little texting session with this attack. As the man began to sprint as fast as his n***a legs could carry him, he would launch himself into the air. Naturally, he wasn't just going to jump at the woman, hell no. He would bring is knee in for this...

The knee would come to hit the woman in her chest area, but if depending one how far her head was lowered it could hit else where. After his knee, Valentine would turn tail and sprint away from the now assigned fighting area to the sidelines.

.: Edited because the awesomeness of the picture could not be contained. :.

There would be a guy.

He was just a guy.

Who was there to watch four guys fight.

Like guys, except that one girl, for she was a girl.

He'd fight later, because he was a different guy.

Fox hated this place, but it might be of advantage to him this time.

This time, Fox was cosplaying Crawley in BLOODBATH '06 (w/o the mask):

EVERYTHING BLACK.

Ignorance is bliss.

Well, in only certain situations - and in the current case of HoH's one and only White Mage, Sey wasn't about to feel quite blissful. Pressing the send button as she waited for her absent teammates to arrive, Sey noticed the meager bar count on her cell. Pouting and sighing in the expanse, she shifted the little device in her hands and fretted.

"Oh man... There's a low signal in here? I hope it got sen-"

King VRH Wrote:

Suddenly, completely unexpectedly, she had the sudden urge to look up. And instead of the dankness of the empty silo, Sey saw a knee. A knee that was attached to a leg, belonging to a man.

For a split second, the White Mage's mind was perfectly clear: no worries about low bars in abandoned missile silos or if James was doing okay filled up her typically worry filled mind. There was just a single thought, and a small squeak that went along with it.

Oh s**t.

Taking the hit full on and flying backwards, the 112 pound woman tumbled in the opposite direction with her legs following her head with a loud, clanking sound following her due to her boots smacking on the grate as she rolled; finally stopping several feet behind from where she had been standing half on her a**, slightly disheveled and breathless. That was... Embarrassing. And painful. Hopefully no one saw her white lace undies. Her cute little cellphone went flying in the opposite direction she did and jingled and skittered across the grates, stopping with the screen facing upwards and the HI CAT charm stuck in the grates spacing. Hopefully it wasn't broken.

What

The

...just hit me?

I didn't think I was in the fighting area!

Coughing as she pushed against the grate and scrambled to her feet, Sey tingled all over in that ******** feeling, senses telling her that there was more to come. At the sight of the shield charging towards her, looking menacingly angry to boot, the little White Mage had never wished for her powers so badly in her entire life. How appropriate that a piece of her past would fit this situation perfectly - a Falician prophecy made before she was born...

She was supposed to be the Shield.

So where was the Sword?

Sey crouched as she readied herself for the impact that would come, coughing as her hands itched to flare to life with light; eyebrows furrowed with concentration as she fought the instinct. Her abilities made her a White Mage... So what was she now?

That answer was still unclear, but White Mage or no, she refused to go down without a fight. She said wasn't a hapless floozy - she'd prove it. She had told herself that she'd show Gaia what a White Mage could do before the tournament was over.

Time for everyone to open their goddamned eyes.

10Liquid Lights

It felt like a tomb.

The air was completely still and heavy with the smell of the old, stale blood dried onto the pit beneath the steel grating. The half-demons footsteps were near completely silent against the cold steel, his feet bare as he tread upon the stained lips of a monster hungry for more. More bloodshed. More victims. Today this battleground would be sated.

Stryphe came to a stop in the center of the subterranean, cylindrical battleground, his spear resting on his right shoulder. The shaft of the weapon disappeared into the wild, snaking tendrils of unkempt, midnight hair that reached out in all sorts of directions. He was keeping a solemn face and a scruffy one- the weeks worth of facial growth was still laying flat on his face but within hours it would start getting brambly. It all served to accentuate the deeply set, brooding eyes, emerald green and set to go off at any second.

Only this time around, there were no powers. There was only that feeling somewhere deeply embedded into his body and mind. No inherent energies or demonic forces- only blood and thunder. Bone against bone. Brawn and brains. Nothing else.

...Were there any brains down in that crusty pit beneath the steel?

Stryphe's eyes flared and his fist clenched as he felt the head in his hand... saw the flesh straining, bulging its way through the gaps in the grating before that first sickening crunch...

Immediately, he followed the path of the flying knee and at the end of it was-

"SEY!"

Dashboard Wrote:

His leather boots hit the grated metal surface with a clang.

The White Mage hit the ground at about the same time as someone else. A gayly dressed black man with an afro, a hairstyle not far from Stryphe's own, was balls deep in a bullet-train sheild charge maneuver almost before he even hit the ground. The half-demon didn't have time to consider how funny this struck him. He'd probably take time for the thought once he had that afro between his foot and a hard place. He also didn't have time to worry about the flying-knee-ninja, because the afro-sheild was heading straight for Sey as well. Stryphe could close the distance and get between them, but he'd need an extra eight feet or so to do it. Whatever was the Lancer to do?

Even when running full-boar, the half-demon's footsteps were completely silent when hidden beneath the loud clankings of Afro-shields boots. If Afro wasn't looking for Stryphe, Afro wouldn't catch on until he was just upon Sey...

What would tip him off would be the flat of a vicious looking blade attached to six-and-a-half feet of wood and steel. The Midgard Serpent.

"STOP!"

HWUCRMPUNCH

As Sey recovered from the dramatic entrance, chunks of the ceramic plating would clank against the floor as the half-demon himself would feel the shock reverberate through his entire body. That shield was thick, but he'd put everything behind his swing and, if it connected, it would be enough to at least stop Afro-Sheild in his tracks and, most likely, knock him right off his feet if he wasn't braced against a heavy delivery of SLAM.

No doubt it was a bad time to be getting messages, but nothing could be said about the perfect timing of coincidence. She wouldn't be able to check her messages until after the battle concluded but Seyumi's lil' blue deedly-bob phone vibrated and chirped as she received a text message in response to the one she had just sent.

It was time.

Still coughing from the friendly welcome of the opposition, the White Mage had been bracing herself for the impact of the angry shield... And then:

Stryphe Wrote:

"SEY!"

Her teammates weren't so absent after all. Stryphe came in with a roar, halberd crashing into the shield bearing man and sending him stumbling her way. A blink of her long lashed eyes later, Temn body checked Dash and flung her a weapon; a large hammer that could've been taken from the tattered pages of the Falician Scrolls. A hammer... The first Oathsworn White Mage used a hammer.

Bursting from her crouched position into a sprint towards her teammates, Sey felt relief blossom in her chest, pushing the pain of the welcome to the back of her mind. She wasn't alone - she didn't have to fight alone! Pumping her arms as she threw everything she had into the dead on sprint towards the brawlers, the White Mage's eyes widened.

C. Fox Wrote:

''EERRRRRRRGH!!!!''

-Thum!-

GAZELLE PUNCH

Anger: pure, volatile and righteous fury burned in Sey's stomach as Fox moved to punch Stryphe in the ribs, his war cry cutting through her hold on her base emotions. She couldn't stand the sight of her comrades being attacked - much less the half demon that stole part of her heart. Normally, the weight of the pendant around her neck would remind her of what she was and stifle the vicious emotion beneath her unwavering duty. But she wasn't High Priestess anymore. She wasn't an Oathsworn anymore.

She wasn't going to play nice anymore.

Petite enough that it wasn't a far lean, Sey reached down as she sprinted and grabbed the hammer with both her small hands, holding it to her left side as she barreled towards the brawlers like a tiny little express train of fury. As the 112 pound Falician Apostate careened towards the fighters, her mouth opened and a low, anger filled guttural howl came from her small glossed lips; the noise sounding like it should have come from one of the men on the battlefield and not the lone woman who was just about half their size and strength.

"GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Wielding the hammer with all the energy of her forward sprint and everything her petite body could muster, the livid mage swung the wide blunt end of the hammer at Fox's torso with both hands, swinging so hard with the heavy hammer that as she swung the weapon from her left side into her opponent's right, Sey would move herself, following through with her body weight as her dragonhide boots squealed against the grates and she tried to stop herself and pivot the hit. The hammer was probably a little less than a fifth of her weight - and it would take it's bearer in the direction that it went as well.

If connected, Sey would stumble the path that her weapon had followed; arms held rigid and straight and stopping her only when she was facing opposite the path she had run from. There was no doubt - there shouldn't have even been a question.

Sey was a White Mage and it was time.

Hammer Time.

C. Fox Wrote:

''GODDAMMIT, DASH!''

As the foreboding emptiness of the missile silo was swept away in the rising tumult of combat, these two words were what first bobbed to the surface of it all as he swung his spear into the front of the Angry train. The spear was indeed knocked away, sent back on the path it had come. The half-demon was no stranger to momentum and, as the Midgard Serpent shook violently in his grip, he relaxed.

The Lancer could feel the reverberating shock, the crests and troughs of kinetic energy flowing through the spear, along his arm, and within his body. As the melee fighter chambered for his close-range uppercut to the half-demons ribs, Stryphe was almost completely limp. His eyes... were they closed?

Somewhere within the mind of the Ugly b*****d team captain there was a rope pendulating. Back and forth. Back and forth. The outstretched hand bided it's time, waiting for the perfect moment to grab on. A discerning eye studied each ripple, the space between them, acquainting himself with the flow that could be his friend or his foe.

NOW.

His eyes shooting open triggered an electrical current of bodily commands. Muscles tensed to the beat of the shock his body had been absorbing and was now one with. His right leg shifted outwards, dropping his stance and moving it away from the new fighter's fist by a few inches. Enough to dodge? Absolutely not. Enough to work with? Fo' sho'.

The attacker's knuckles skimmed and careened over Stryphe's ribs like some sort of suicide pilot having a second thought, which would eventually be painful, but considerably less devastating than it would have been. As the Lancer dropped his stance, riding that wave of harnessed momentum, his left arm would snap down into a defensive position, elbow at his side, fist level with his shoulder. This meant that both the fighters arms were now locked at the elbow, either combatant free to control the other. Fox's fist was somewhere up around Stryphe's armpit, his forearm caught between the half-demon's bicep and the ribs Fox had aimed to smash. The Lancer's elbow was probably somewhere between Fox's elbow joint and bicep.

It was beginning to feel painfully familiar.

Sey Wrote:

"GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

So, Sey had managed to maneuver her way around the Afro-Shield. It couldn't have been hard, considering the lack of control of himself the wielder of the angry shield had. With Sey to one side and an opponent to the other, Stryphe's peripheral vision was telling him everything he needed to know.

THUD-CLENCH-STOMP. The half-demon's right leg, well grounded upon the clashing, absorbed the majority of Fox's forward momentum. Stryphe would hold steady the nail Seyumi Kaikou was about to drive into the dirt as that tension released and the fighter's fell into place.

Stryphe had only did two things in retaliation to Fox's attack. His left hand snapped forward, grabbing Fox's left underarm just beneath the armpit and pulling him close as his left foot took it's place behind Fox's own left foot. Fox's forward momentum would assist Stryphe in this, ensuring that the fighter wouldn't be pulling away before the half-demon had him within his grasp. At the slightest detection of a loss in control, Stryphe was ready to send Fox tumbling backwards over his left leg with a good shove.

Then again, whatever happened from this point didn't seem to matter much because...

''Warhammer? Who the hell gave her a Warhammer?!''

''SILLY GIRL!'' Fox shouted, as the girl charged the hammer for the full swing.

''Forget about this guy.

DUCK!''

Fox quickly grabbed the back of Stryphe's head with his right hand, gripping the hair. A little dirty, but for both's safety, goddamn it.

By pulling the hair, Stryphe's mind could probably go from ''hehe, I'm holding you now!'' to ''Ow, my head!''. Which is what would help Fox pull off an evasive maneuver. Jackie Chan style and s**t.

''You're going with me! Hmph!''

Fox would yank Stryphe's head backwards, as he simultaneously, bends forwards, all the way down towards his legs --as if he was streching his hamstrings--, slightly kicking his own left leg up --not to high, because then they'll get HAMMERE'D-- to take Stryphe's left leg off the floor, going for a Judo trip. Not gonna start naming tech. names here...

---Eventually, Fox would bend all the way forward, forcing Stryphe to bend all the way backwards, as Sey's Warhammer SOARS over them like a frigging plane and Stryphe's head is smashed into the ground. Not too hurtful though, since it wasn't a big throw.

Sucks for Sey, who would have to take some time to recover from that big swing. Leaving, once again, just Fox and Stryphe. Meh, Dash'll deal with 'er

''Man, that was close!'' Fox thought.

So not only Fox tripped Stryphe, he ducked the s**t out of that hammer.

After the trip, Fox would jerk his own arm out of Stryphe's, get up on his feet and send a right Soccer Kick at Stryphe's head. And boy, Fox loved Soccer Kicking heads.

21The Duke of Id

Somewhere on the sides of he platform, a vampire ascended covered in what seemed to be the blood from the pit below. His electric blue eyes would look around into the ring, and notice that both teams had been going on against each other without regards to any particular order of fights.

Interesting!

Seyumi was fighting!? Surely not of her own accord! This meant that they had singled her out somewhere along the way (unless she was using a striker assist with a war hammer). Malenexum would assume the worst, the one alternative that let him think that the members of team ALL were actually just bastards that enjoyed maximizing their chances of success by picking on the weak and then working on the rest. That they were malicious, much like he was.

He laughed!

Why, he felt at home now!

These people were as much scum as he was!

Cat jumping onto the platform from it's edge, the vampire raised his longsword to the ready, held tightly by his left hand, and, with a smirk that highlighted his right fang, began to chant out loud. "C'mon...! Hehehe! C'mon...! C'monc'monc'monc'mon, c'mon! Ho hehehehe! C'MON! C'MON! COME ON!"

He'd begin to circle the fight menacingly, holding his sword ready to impale it through the first idiot that gave himself the opportunity. Malenexum looked EAGER to slide the weapon through flesh -- IMPATIENT, infact! With him being at the edge of the stage, it would be nigh impossible to catch him from behind, and considering he was looking out to all sides in an attempt to taunt all the members of the opposing team that were nearest to him, he was very alert in regards to his surroundings.

Powers be damned!

He didn't need them!

Malenexum relished in slicing things to scrap without the need to use his otherworldly abilities! He'd enjoy this particular brawl, and would show these pathetic hand to hand users why, in the same vein that one doesn't bring a knife into a gunfight, one doesn't bring fists into a swordfight.

22Sey

Oh wow, oh geez, oh, oh, oh-

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-"

The hammer wiffed but it and Sey were still swinging, the weapon dragging the little mage in a deadly circle as she stumbled backwards like an athlete taking too much time to wind up during a hammer throw - minus the over the head bit; or a little angry planet in orbit around them. Stumbling around the two fighters in a semi circle and threatening both of them with the chance of a painful meeting with her happy little hammer if they decided to raise their heads, Sey tensed her arms as she caught sight of Dash leading back into the fray during one of her spins; intentionally speeding up the deadly swing of her hammer with every step and changing her circular path to that of an oval jutting out towards angry shield man.

"-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!"

Was she... Squealing in enjoyment? Was this her high pitched attempt at a war cry? Either way, the White Mage was spinning around the fight like a little whirling dervish of cuteness and death with no intention of stopping until her hammer met something with a painful clang - something like a shield.

STRIKER OUT.

24Liquid Lights

Something primal clawed it's way to the forefront of Stryphe's mind. Deep within his psyche, something hellish caught the smell of blood begging to be spilled. In the back of his mind, this scared him, but as his eyes maddened and a toothy grin spread across his face it was clear that there was some goodness in him that had just been set aside. The hammer would crash into Fox's side, imploding bone and grinding flesh to a pulp.

The half-demon's fist, secured to Fox's collar, was quivering in anticipation, knuckles white.

There he is again.

But then Fox reached into the wild mass of Stryphe's hair and took hold. NO! He snarled as Fox proved that he too was no slouch, moving deftly and with precision, jerking back on the half-demon's head. The energy Fox used to bend forwards at his core was being applied to Stryphe's head, far from his center and vulnerable to manipulation. From there, his feet would be kicked out from under him and he would hit the grating, shaken by the smack his head made against the ground, but far from stirred. His wild locks spread across the grating beneath his head and out in every direction, looking like a spilled basket of all varieties of snakes as the half-demon exhaled the impact from the floor.

The hammer harmlessly soared overhead, doing what it pleased with it's unexperienced master, and Fox was rising to press the attack on the downed half-demon; and somewhere there had to be an Afro-Shield coming to the aid of his teammate, the latter of which being Stryphe's second concern.

His first was that slithery voice within that sounded so pleased with him and how damned good that made him feel. His right hand tightened around the Midgard Serpent as if he hadn't beheld the weapon in ages. Last time, he thought, you had more red on you...

With a quick tug, the Lancer shifted his grip to the middle of the spear, loosening his grip as the butt of the polearm came sliding inwards to meet the half-demon's left hand. Stryphe was able to draw in his upper body and bring up his shoulders just as Fox's foot would come crashing into his head. The Soccer Kick would force it's way between Stryphe's shoulder and forearm before being completely stopped by the Lancer's jaw.

The half-demon's head snapped to the right under the force of Fox's kick, blood spattering across the steel grating. A single tooth skittered and bounced ahead of the blood until diving down into the dark reddish-brown pit lurking beneath the battleground.

His head wasn't the only thing to snap away from the shock of boot-to-face, his right arm did as well. The shaft of his spear slid from his left grip as the kick hit home, drawn back by his coiling right arm...

THOOM.

The butt end of the Midgard Serpent was thrust into Fox's guttyworks, right at the navel, on trajectory for his spine. As Stryphe's head had snapped to the side from the kick so had his right arm in preparation for this quick jab of his spear- both head and arm had returned in the same fashion, following that energy through towards where the kick had come from- Fox. The Lancer already had four feet of reach from where he gripped the weapon, but he put his shoulder into the attack anyways, shifting most of his weight to his left shoulder and twisting slightly to the left to add extra driving force to the counter-attack, ensuring that some distance would be made.

And although he was on his back and seeing stars, this would be enough to put the Lancer on the offensive. As Fox's body would absorb the thrust, the half-demon would draw the weapon back to him, reach up with his right arm and TWIST his entire body to the left, bringing his front to face the floor and torquing the butt end of the shaft of the Midgard Serpent in towards his chest as he twisted. This combination of leverage and rotation would send the sharp end of the spear arching through the air with such speed and force that suddenly Fox was within the jaws of a great emerald beast, those jaws snapping shut in the blink of an eye and threatening to split him down the middle.

Naturally, he preferred to be in the middle of it, however as tough as he was acting, he had no intention of taking one step away from where he was. The hell should he? He did his job, he hit that woman dead on. She couldn't be that strong, he figured one or two more hits and it'd be lights out for her. "HURRY THE ****** UP AND KICK THEIR a I'M BORED!" Ouch, it was around then that Dash would get viciously attacked. The poor guy, he was such a fragile child too, oh well. As depressing as Dash being attacked was, there were far more important issues at hand like the 20lbs girl holding a war hammer, and swinging it around. Now, Valentine wasn't quite sure of anything about her or the hammer, but he knew something like that swinging a nice heavy weapon like that around was dangerous. If that s**t slipped out of her hands, he could be trouble.

What was this? Another member of Team Random Select? Perfect! Valentine would sprint to make his way over to the man who seemed to know no more English than 'C'mon.' It seemed the hammer hadn't been sent flying...yet. This in mind, Valentine made sure to hide behind the guy. Sure, the man would probably notice him, but worse case scenario Valentine have to open a can of whoop a**. Val was assured that the man wouldn't try nothin' sneaky, but he'd make sure to be prepared just in case.

27Show me the CarFox

Fox was kind of displeased with his offensive move. No, not the Soccer Kick. He loved those; the Judo-ish trip. But his arm was trapped, and he could not ******** around, having two armed opponents around him.

The trip worked. Good.

The Soccer Kick landed. Goo--

''ffff--uuu!''

What just happened? Suddenly, something nailed him on the stomach. It sure wasn't a stab, but it felt like a kick going right through his gut.

Fox tensed his arms and balled his fists and his torso slightly cringed in pain. Fox was still, stunned for a second. His eyes still locked on Stryphe, with a piercing glare that could spell every insult int he dictionary.

''Nng-- huh?!''

Fox saw Stryphe turning in, holding the spear in a certain manner that meant he was going to go for a vertical ''slash''.

All in a split second.

No time to blink.

Sugar rushing, veins pumping.

Fox took a quick deep breath, almost as if he had gasped. Then lowered his head, chin tucked in neck and brought his arms up in a \'\'X\'\' shaped block. Fox would place his arms higher than it seemed -in the picture-, to block further and to avoid getting hit or cut on the head, anyhow.

''-Tssts!- Sonuva...!''

The darned thing stung. Fox would feel that tingling sensation going from his wrists, down to his forearms. Though the furthering of the block/arms would lessen the impact dramatically. It was definitely going to bruise some, and a little skin might have been scraped off, so expect some blood dripping down his hands soon.

But Fox would not stop there, though. He just got started:

Fox would not hesitate to clamp his hands on the pole/stick. In the X block, his right hand was leading, the left was on the rear. Just before Fox's hands clamped, the right hand would turn so the palm would be facing Fox himself. The left hand would remain the same.

Both hands would clamp the goddamned Serpent thing just beneath the shaft. Holding it tight with a Kung Fu grip. All the muscles on his forearms would show, and yeah, his sleeves were rolled up to the elbows. He was holding Stryphe's stick pretty hard after all (lolololol Goddammit.)

Fox's not done yet.

Now that he was safe from the blade, having good control over the Spear, would begin stomping the hell out of Stryphe until Stryphe lost complete control over the spear. He could try to yank it off Stryphe's arm, but he figured it wasn't going to be THAT simple. So he needed to put some of THEHURT into Stryphe. Fox could also try to break the stick... but that'd be a goddamned waste of time, not knowing how hard the spear was.

''GGRRRRR!!!''

LET...

(think normal speed, not this slow)

GO!!!''

Stomp after stomp, until Stryphe let go of the spear. The pace would increase after each stomp.

Let's hope Dash is up for some badassery too.

Looking at the sudden movement towards him, the most vicious member of team Ugly Bastards would prepare to fight this b*****d that came his way. Other than c'mon, Malenexum could have a few choice words other than simply taunting his opponents to come to him. The vampire would stop his little chant and smile wickedly at the approaching opponent.

"Finally! WE HAVE A WINNER!"

Left body aimed at the man, left arm stretched outwards aiming the sword's tip directly at the man's abdominal area. If the man kept running at that pace, he'd end up being chichcabobbed against the sword... ofcourse, no one that had experience in fighting would be as idiotic as to let his own run be the death of him.

Malenexum was ready to adapt the very moment the man came within striking distance of the sword (4'8" of the blade, plus the arm length, around 5'9" at the very least). This guy, he'd learn what it was to fall into a trap.

Here we go, once again!

Now I'm going to count to ten!

And by then I swear you'll wish you were dead!

For each rotation like a dancer, Sey kept her eyes trained on a single point - in this case it was hard to not stare at what the mage trained her gray gaze on, as the point was a man in a bright yellow jumpsuit with an impressive Afro - and all her fury was directed on the man with the angry shield.

Spin... Spin...! Suddenly, the focus of her fury vanished. And then her arms crashed into something, and she felt the hammer in her hands make a new friend with the jumpsuit man, her grip tightening as the shock of the stopping motion reverberating through her entire body and her arms filled with a jolting pain. While he did it to brace himself, if it wasn't for him grabbing her shoulder and stopping her movement, the little white mage would have whipped around in a half circle, eyes wide at the power of SCIENCE.

The arms holding the hammer weren't not strong enough without the force of the swing to hold up the weapon and Sey dropped them to her waist with a wince as her opponent bent his knees and burst her personal bubble with a vengeance; angry shield in her face and his gaze staring her down. Instinctively recoiling a step back from the close proximity of someone else's face, Sey glared up at him. This wasn't James or Stryphe here!

Dashboard Wrote:

Dash’s brown eyes blazed with intensity as they glanced down to meet Sey’s. The shield was pressed between them, but he had lowered it enough so they could see face to face. His expression carried an air of amusement.

“Do you even know what you’re doing?”

As brown met gray, Dash would have to be terribly dense to not realize that he had pushed one of the White Mage's buttons; her emotions easily readable in her luminous eyes. Fury at seeing Stryphe hurt, wariness at being manhandled and...

Excitement?

The sweet little mage's eyes glinted as she dropped the hammer from the hands at her waist and let it fall between them, hoping that it crushed one of his feet as she stepped back into his guard and reached up with her left hand to grab a large chunk of his mass of hair and pull down, intending to yank his face down to her level and into the shield pressed between the two of them.

He had every right to be laughing at her and her inexperience - even SHE thought it was a bit of a joke for a White Mage to be in a tournament like this. But Dashboard Jowaine would know just like the rest of Gaia that you should never, ever, ever underestimate a small Asian women who was furious... And who was also a White Mage.

As Sey pulled, she'd scream out her response to his question in her high pitched voice lacking the sweetness and serenity that it normally held. Poor Dash - it'd be right in his ear as well.

Did she know what she was doing? Everything was happening so fast that he probably wouldn't know if the single word was a reply to his question or just a sheer exclamatory reaction to him being so up-in-'er-face.

"NO~!"

Adrenaline helped keep her focused in this ridiculous David and Goliath story, though it was less for her own sake and more for the man who had just gotten soccer kicked in the head she was still fighting. And she would not stop fighting until it was impossible for her to continue, not just for Stryphe and not just because she wanted to come back to James in one piece, but because SHE wanted to.

Fight, that is. ♥

The instant his spear stopped Stryphe scrambled to gain some sort of footing. He drew his legs in and tried to get a knee between him and the floor before-

WHAM!!!

The stars in the room got brighter as Fox's foot came crashing like a doomsday meteorite into the front right side of Stryphe's face just as the half-demon was turning his head towards Fox. For a second, he was reminded of the wall of the subway tunnel and how that had felt. No doubt Fox would have taken that as a complement, if he'd know what the half-demon had associated the stomp with.

Of course, the Lancer hadn't enjoyed it enough to go for another round of face vs. foot.

As Fox brought his right foot back for another try at cracking the half-demon's skull, he would be met by the calm fury of Stryphe's gaze. Dual streams of blood met just above his upper lip, streaming down from his nostrils. His lips, chin, and lower left jaw were all speckled with blood and a small stream was running down into his scruff from the left side of his mouth.

The Lancer had taken a couple powerful kicks to the head, but the fire was still in his eyes, and Fox was locked dead within the emerald irises. Fox didn't know it, but Stryphe could also seem something no one else could.

Cameras in the distance, flashing, all around Fox. Ah, the public. How did they get down here?

He didn't care about them.

Sey Wrote:

"NO~!"

And when Sey was in trouble Stryphe didn't care much about anything else and, after all the times he hadn't been there, the reflexive action was still alive inside of him. Save the White Mage. Save the World.

One second, Fox would have the half-demon staring holes into his face, the next, well...

Stryphe had managed to get his left knee beneath him as the first stomp clapped against his face. He'd nearly faltered and lost control after the blow, but his grip on that goddamned spear remained as tight as it ever was and ever could be. This was part of him, and he had more of it in his grip than Fox did.

The instant Fox would chamber for that second stop and Stryphe whirled his head to face his foe the half demon would swing his right leg outward, balancing on his left foot as his swept his leg horizontally towards Fox's left, simultaneously jerking his right backwards and shoving forwards with his left. The two motions would reinforce one another, Stryphe's torso jerking one way, his bottom half the other. Fox would be met with a powerful downward force from the spear as his leg was knocked out from underneath him, all of this serving to offset that second stomp as well.

"Hang on to it for me then," He would growl as Fox hit the ground. If the counter-attack-takedown maneuver went through, the half-demon would have already let go of the spear once his foe was toppled.

Fox would have his way, and Dash would have one Stryphe stalking in his direction.

******? This dude was attacking Valentine? Our sweet lovable sex muffin? Well, this **** sucked. He had no intention of fighting this round, that was aside from the occasional striker here and there. Man, this ugly b***d had ruined his sit back and let his good looks charm the women plan, he was going to pay. Now, as all of this rushed through his mind, there was a sword stabbing at him.

The man would take a step forward with his right, turning his torso to his left to allow the blade ample room to miss. After his quick dodge what would the man do? Val would dash forwards, to close up the distance between him and his opponent. At least, enough to put Valentine within range of striking at him. Which of course, only took a few steps at this heightened state of movement.

Well, he was in now. All up in his striking range with the guy who attacked him. Part of Val wanted to football tackle his narrow a**, but that wasn't quite his style. Instead, he'd put bring his right up to jab the man's ugly mug. With any luck, the man would get a little daze so that Valentine could follow up with a left straight. Who knew, chances were he'd end up going for the straight even if it did miss.

Why, get sliced, ofcourse!

Malenexum, having calculated that no one in their right mind would be stupid enough to fall into a still-standing sword aimed at one in the middle of a run, would simply side-step to his own right and slice the blade to his left and slightly downwards diagonally. The counter attack was designed to not only strike the man, but strike true even if he decided to duck under it, as it was also headed downards.

Should it not hit, Malenexum's body was already in motion for a follow-up attack.

IF the attack hit, it would also be further pushed by reinforcement of the force used behind the slash with Malenexum's right hand palm opening and then pushing against Malenexum's left hand, making the sword that would undoubtedly imbed itself into Valentine's skin push him closer to the edge of the pit.

Good timing there. Fox was tripped off his feet, automatically onto his a**.

-Thump!-

His a** smashed against the steel, the impact shivering up his back. Fox felt stupid. Like, he just... fell. Didn't even take that much effort. His right leg was being chambered, so that left his left leg along without base or support. Easy trip.

Oooo, swords, they sure were pesty little bastards weren't they? They most certainly were, especially to Valentine who didn't dare to bother with the devilish things. However, for whatever reason he always got fights against the people who did have them. Why? Who knew. What does it have to do with what he's going to do? Not a damn thing. Annoying as swords were, like all weapons they needed distance. Oh, and positioning that always played an important role as it would here. His opponent decided to side step, which would be the most logical to obtain said distance. During this time Valentine, that at no point in his movement needed to stop would still advance, as his dash merely increased the rate at which he did. With this in mind as ol' buddy boy side stepped at his leisure, it would be safe to assume that Valentine would be able to advance a good bit before the man would swing.

Valentine's consistent forward movement would continue to put him closer to the hilt, and out of his opponent's sword range. What was this? An attack from his opponent? A swing from that positioning? Why the hell wouldn't he move his arm more? Surely an outstretched arm just swinging couldn't have that much power. However, that wasn't a risk Valentine was willing to take. That sword arm started to move, so did Valentine. Moving in an oblique line to his opponent's left he would continue his advance, whilst he placed himself out of the sword's attacking range.

Finally, the distance was closed for now at least. Valentine was now at his opponent's left, and within striking distance for a good punch. Once his lead right foot had planted, his left would slide around as he pivoted on the balls of his right foot. This was to bring power to his next attack, which was what is known as a rabbit punch, or to put it in simpler terms a nice hook to the back of his opponent's head.

Ooooh, struck a chord had he? Excellent. The angrier Sey was, the harder she’d fight. The harder she fought, the less guilty Dash was going to feel about kicking her a**!

In immediately retaliation, the man pushed forward with his left arm and shield in attempt to create more space in between the two of them. Maybe the mage still held onto his hair, maybe not. Regardless, his next action remained the same: a right straight delivered over the shield and to the mage’s face! He’d adjust the punch if necessary, depending on the distance gained from his shield push.

At the sight of her opponent's blood, the nasty, nasty beast called compassion reared it's ugly head for a moment; flailing it's arms and screaming from the depths of the White Mage's head of all the atrocities that she was committing. As soon as she wrestled the annoying virtue to the back of her mind Sey felt the cold metal of the shield and braced herself, body tightening as she was shoved back; left hand fisting in his hair as her upper body jerked forward towards Dash as the rest of her was sent in the opposite direction - the height difference making everything even more awkward. She had absolutely no intention of letting go... But then she saw his fist fly.

Following her untrained instincts and recoiling from the hit with squeezed shut eyes, Sey tried to make herself as small as possible, shying her face into her left shoulder. It did little to change the fact that Dash's fist connected with the right side of her head a split second later, hard enough to snap her head back to stare dazed right back at her opponent and his big hair, big arms and big hand that just made her see stars.

"AAA-

POW

Iiiiiiiiiittaaaaaiiitaitaitaitaitaitatitai~!"

Crying out with pain at the hit and tensing her body along with clenching her tiny fist tightly in his hair, the little mage squeezed her eyes shut as she tried to force the stars and pain from her senses; right fist and both legs flailing wildly between steps as she stumbled the small steps back towards him and hit at anything that wasn't protected by the angry shield. Reeling from the hit with her eyes squeezed shut to boot, her hits weren't aimed anywhere specific on the man's body but they'd rain down all the same; side, shoulder, bicep, thigh, crotch (if he was silly enough to leave THAT unprotected) each hit punctuated with a syllable of her cries.

If there was any doubt about how much Sey knew about hand to hand fighting it was quite obvious now in her mad flailing while holding herself up and against her opponent by his hair. If he was standing straight up, the deep hold she had in his hair would force her to press up onto her tip toes, barely skimming the ground and in turn, during all the crazy flailing of the limbs, the White Mage would grab for another tuft of hair with her right hand in an attempt to further stabilize herself against his attacks.

The cameras recorded the scene that was being broadcast to TVs all over Gaia, including in the Temple of Falis: Seyumi Kaikou, tiny ineffectual legs and fists flying as she clambered on top of Dash via hair with a killer headache and slowly clearing vision, all the while squealing in pain and excitement. Lookit that White Mage uh... Go? Poor Dash had a monkey on his front.

Quite fast, aren't we? Enough to run faster than a swing? Impressive. Well, right after the sidestep, his body would spin to his own left, towards the man dashing alongside him. As Valentine increased his speed, Malenexum'd take notice, and increase his sword's speed by turning his body. Ofcourse, that wasn't the real purpouse of turning his body...

The Duke of Id Wrote:

Should it not hit, Malenexum's body was already in motion for a follow-up attack.

...pivoting on his left foot, the swing of his sword would continue after Valentine, but something else would rise from the floor after the man. In a roundhouse kick motion, his right foot would lift from the platform and head towards his back/left side almost as fast (if not faster) than the sword. If the diagonal slice of the sword were successful, it would shortly be followed by a staggering roundhouse kick that would not only hurt, but also push the man with all of Malenexum's strength, momentum and weight behind it, then push him to the edge of the platform and down to the pit below.

It wouldn't take much to push the man outside of the ring: they were dangerously extremely close to the edge, which was only a couple of feet away from them-- and Valentine basically running towards it as compared to Malenexum, which was moving to his right as his body turned left-wise in an arch after his opponent. If Valentine continued his sprint forward, the momentum he used plus the momentum Malenexum used to help push the guy off the edge would be enough to throw him over. If he was going to continue with that rabbit punch of his, he'd find himself getting hit, with the sudden stop he'd make being almost exactly synchronized with the increase in movement that Malenexum would perform.

Sey Wrote:

Well, not so much the battle-mage, not just yet, but he beamed as she grew a little less pathetic in his book.

A book that was fondly critical of the little priestess, mostly due to her forsaken god. Still, she wasn't quite as beaten or bloodied as he'd imagined, and it disarmed him- the fact that she and Afro-Shield were trading blows nearly gave him pause, however-

WHUMP. "Ack!"

The butt end of his spear gave it first. He was in mid-step with his right leg when the shaft of the Midgard Serpent came crashing into the back of his left knee, crumbling everything that supported him before he knew what was happening. Suddenly, he was going down, yet again, only this time he had an option. As conditioned reflexes and instincts kicked in, the surprised Lancer's actions became deliberate. Even taken by surprise, from behind, he would not panic and taking the closest path to a firm grounding was automatic.

As the half-demon's left knee shot forward his right shot upwards, transforming itself into a stomp more than a step.

THOOM.

He dropped to a kneel, right foot thundering against the grating at the same time as his left knee, gritting his teeth as what would have to be his polearm grinded against the inside of his kneel with the pressure of Fox's weight. That grinding made him smile, it hurt, but he could only grin because that grinding meant the Midgard Serpent had slithered it's way back to his master. Fox's putting the weapon between him and the half-demon was a crucial mistake.

The hand would wrap around the jagged, out of control nest of dreadlocks at the back of Stryphe's head as the Lancer would take his weapon in hand.

He leaned backwards, sending his left hand behind his back, palm out, to grab the butt-end of the spear. His right reached back over his shoulder and under Fox's right arm to take hold of the shaft near the middle, assisted by the half-demons backwards lean.

And then, as Fox was directing his forehead into Stryphe's brain, he would be swept up in a squall of wood and steel, in three motions. The first would be an abrupt jerk, the half-demons left hand pulling upwards as his right yanked down, almost completely unhindered by Fox's grip at the top of the spear. The shaft, between the two of them, would slam against the left side of Fox's head mid-headbut.

With a snarl, and still moving into his backwards lean, the half-demon shot upwards and back, racking the wood and steel bar against Fox's chest and sending enough backwards force to send the (hopefully) stunned man in the same direction. If the head-cracking twist of the halberd and the backwards shove did what they were supposed to, the half-demon would jerk his upper body downwards and pivot ferociously to the left in a 270 degree spin, wrenching both his hair and his halberd from Fox's grip and sending the blade, now parallel with his shoulders, around to lick Fox's torso.

This was odd, as Valentine hadn't increased his speed again. Instead, he opted to step diagonally outwards more to his foe's left so that the blade would not catch him. In addition to this, his opponent decided to go up on one leg like he was some sort of ballerina in an attempt to kick Valentine in his spin. What the point to this was Valentine had no idea. The sword was longer than the man's leg so it wouldn't hit anything. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the sword which on it's downward spiral would catch Valentine's leg. It would give a nice little slice, but nothing that was going to drastically alter his ability, or lack there of to fight.

With his opponent in a full spin and him having just gave Valentine a going away present, he would grit his teeth at the pain. The man would make a quick dash into his opponent's personal space. He made it a point to get to where if his sword came around only his foe's arm would hit Valentine instead of the blade. What was he going to do to the scrawny b***d that his opponent was? He was gonna beat the living st outta him. At the time Valentine had gotten into the area his opponent would no doubt have his right side facing Val. The hands of Valentine wouldn't hesitate at all to lock in a Muay Thai clinch around his opponent's neck. There would be a small distance between him and his opponent to allow Val's knees to slip in and attack, but not much more. Speaking of knees, that's exactly what Valentine would be using. Starting with his left knee, he would begin to switch off between the two taking turns at ramming into the man's ribs, and hip.

The sword slashed through the man's mid shin and shortly thereafter hit the floor. Reacting to Valentine's movement, his right foot landed right after the sword hit floor, only half a second or so after. While the foot evacuated it's roundhouse kick motion, however, the sword lifted from the ground further to Malenexum's left.

Since the sword was being held by Malenexum's left hand, all the vampire-like creature would have to do was push the floor with the foot that had just landed and move left-wise, as the sword would almost instantly reposition itself upwards and backwards, then thrust quickly at Valentine. To explain the aforementioned move in detail, his left arm, which had been stretched far right to the point that his left hand was next to his right shoulder, would now retreat as far left as it could while aiming the blade to his right and then push forwards-- similar to using a cue (stick used to play pool)-- all in a single, fluid motion.

It was the equivalent of a quick retreating side-kick but with an added viciousness to it, being more of a retreating stab across the abdominal area. This would all happen as the man closed the distance of four and a half or so feet between them that had been the sword's previous effective range, it's current effective range having been turned to a much more effective one foot and a half that could be used all the way to four and a half feet or so in total.

"WOohOohoOoO!"

In a defiant sense of humor, Malenexum mocked the man that approached towards him. While his right arm was ready to defend Malenexum should the man still make it past the sword, elbow tucked in to being just next to his ribs, it was the hand of this very arm, located near his face, that was also flipping the man off with a rude finger gesture. Both electric blue eyes frowned at the man, while blood-soaked smile presented itself in spite.

If the stab was succesful... well, let's just say he'd be 'picking the trash and throwing it in the thrashcan'. If it didn't, there were still other ways to get to the desired effect...

This guy was starting to be a real pain in Valentine's a. All he had wanted was a little protection for the twig with the hammer, and what did he get? A full blown fight with an annoyin' lil' b*d who just wouldn't go down easy. Such is life right? Once again Valentine had to deal with the ****** sword that was proving to be more of an annoyance than he'd originally planned for it to be. Luckily, he wasn't getting shanked though.

Malenexum had got a nice little slicey slice on Val's leg, but right after that blade had passed through he'd begun his advance. His right foot would take a step halving the distance between the two, and then...SURPRISE! The sword reared its annoying head once more. Now, Valentine wasn't exactly paying attention to said blade, but luck was a ********. Val would take his next step with his left, turning his right half just enough to stop him from being made into a kabob. He would bring said side back around as he stepped forward with his right. The edge of the sword slicing him once more, but yet again it was something he'd have to take on the chin for the time being. Val's right fist was cocked back and ready to fire, and it would once the step was completed. However, this punch was rather odd because it wasn't a punch. He would quickly bring the punch around showing it in actuality to be elbow. An elbow that was targeted at the temple of his opponent. Fighting and all that jazz was fun, but Val was done with it. He was ready for his opponent to take an L via Val's elbow.

4/17

44The Duke of Id

As Val continued his way forward, getting sliced along his midsection, Malen would twist the blade and retract it when he'd feel the body step into the right edge of the blade and continue forward. This would cause a wide (not deep) chunk of the skin and muscles found over Valentine's right ribs to be sliced off and fall to the floor like a thick slice of ham.

At the same time this happened, Malen's right hand, which had been protecting his face and expecting a similar attack, would now extend outwards, uncurling all it's fingers in the process, towards the opponent's incoming attack and deflect it out of the way, pushing the elbow higher than it was supposed to be and his own head accelerating it's retreat backwards-- which his whole body had been continously doing since the start to keep sword range effective. Right after that, Malenexum would use the self-same open hand to come down to the man's face and his own momentum would change, a grin seething of malice spreading through his visage. The deflection and the semi-grab would be a fluid movement, just about, of his hand going up and then down/forward.

Malenexum would use the man's face as a structure to push, his body suddenly shifting it's retreat to a charge in a heartbeat. The hand would not curl it's fingers in enough to get a good grip on the face, but to keep it steady from leaving the hand palm. The arm would stay in the same place, as his body moved forward, and, when his whole body had moved forward enough, he'd pit his whole weight, strength and momentum against the man by extending his arm forwards and stopping his new movement. It would only take two steps, and then a frantic push of his arm and throwing the opponent as far away from himself as he could to pull this off.

He'd waste no time in using this push to his advantage, and as soon as he had pushed, he'd take the already retracted sword and thrust forwards again at the area he had intended to attack previously while Valentine would be moving backwards from the push. He'd not only do that, but he'd retract the sword again and begin to thrust and retract the sword frantically and consecutively, panting fiercely, as the man attempted to recover from the push.

Dodge THIS, you MAGGOT!

A look of pure bloodlust filled Malenexum's face, and with each pant, caused after each thrust, bits of saliva would spit out into the air through clenched teeth and fangs. Electric blue eyes wide open, staring out from a crimson red-stained face from his dive in the pool of blood below them.

While he was eager to open a few holes into the man's body, he would also use a small ammount of prudence. After three or so stabs, he'd stop and take things into slightly less lethal proceedings... though still savage enough to get his message through:...

...he'd win by the count of TEN!

Four.

Allow me to introduce you into the slaughter house!

I'm just pissed that my winning streak you'd try to douse!

Now hold still and feel my blade through you trounce!

45Show me the CarFox

Fox wanted to get rid of the spear by tossing it way back. That was also one of his options while he was sitting.

Maybe it was a mistake. But who better than Stryphe to hold that spear than to have some sneaky ****** grab the spear and ****** Fox up from behind? Stryphe should be thankful.

Stryphe's athletic abilities allowed him to bend and reach back on his spear, specially Stryphe's right arm; 'guy was flexible and quick. After all, he was over 6 feet tall. Fox launched his head down towards at Stryphe's, but something stopped him halfway.

-PLAK-

''Ach! Shi--''

Fox felt a sudden shock going through his head for a very brief time. Stryphe had snapped the staff sideway at his head. Fox's head snapped to his right, eyes flinched from the impact, but opened once again.

''Urrgh! Fox gritted his teeth. He was able to ride it out after a second, it being only a quick snap at a very close distance -barely any momentum-, so barely, any power was being generated. Not that head-cracking...

Fox let go of the staff, the hair, everything. But his eyes were open by this time. Letting go easily allowed Stryphe to stand, spin and whatever else he wanted to do.

Maybe Stryphe wouldn't notice Fox letting go of both the staff and the hair, but Stryphe went for it all.

Ancient Hyperzephyrian Wrote:

With a snarl, and still moving into his backwards lean, the half-demon shot upwards and back, racking the wood and steel bar against Fox's chest.

''Kuff...''

Fox was shoved backwards by the pole. Fox took no more than two steps back. By then, Fox had regained composure. His head was starting to hurt... Well, was already hurting, but he knows where he stands.

Ancient Hyperzephyrian Wrote:

the half-demon would jerk his upper body downwards and pivot ferociously to the left in a 270 degree spin

Fox saw Stryphe turning, fully holding that spear horizontally. At this point, Fox couldn't duck, but he could sway his torso backwards. His boxing instincts kicked in.

''Bob and Weave. Hit him with the jab!''

Now Fox wasn't going to jab anybody. All he could do was sway his torso to avoid getting slashed into a huge gash. Similar to his fight with Lazenca last year.

-Fwoom!!-

-Weave!-

''Damn!''

The spear flew across his chest, causing a shallow/superficial cut across his pecs.

Swiiish!!

splat splat...

Fox's shirt was now missing a piece. A shame. This was one of his favorite shirts. On top of that, there was blood on it.

''Grrrrr''

After Stryphe counter-clock-swings his spear FEROCIOUSLY, Fox immediately went for the SHOOT. Taking advantage of Stryphe's recovering time, since he swung that st violently. Fox would rather jab, one-two, all that. But no time to ****** around. Fox didn't go too low, nor too high. Something between the middle. He tackled Stryphe's waist and hugged his asscheeks like a mother. Like he loved this man to death. Just as FEROCIOUS.

46Valentine R Hoskuo

AH ******! This getting cut up thing was painful, yet it was necessary. Life's a b*h like that ain't it? Not like it mattered now, there was no time to worry about such trivial things. This of course was because Valentine had so much adrenaline speeding through his body, he didn't notice immediately. He was so focused on the fact that his attack had just been knocked away. That simply wasn't acceptable by Val's standards.

The man had managed to slip away somehow once more, but he wasn't going to do it again. Valentine was going to make sure this b*****d felt the pain one way or another. So, as his elbow was shoved aside he would move with it. Causing his body to go into a 360 like motion as he would step forward. This in turn meant, that he would bring the back of his left elbow to come crashing into his retreating opponent's face. With any luck the man would be far too dazed to do much else.

5/17

47The Duke of Id

Malenexum would drive on forward as the movement had been pretty much set in motion before he'd seen Valentine's own reaction. Having deflected the 'elbow hook' out of the way, his hand would come around and grab at the man's face and his body would now move forward instead of backwards (as stated on the previous post but with a moving man's head).

EDIT: Everything that would happen afterwards would not go as planned, however. The attack had been moving forwards faster as so to catch up with his retreating head, so that when Malenexum attempted to push forward on the spinning opponent's head, the hand would just be knocked out of the way and the push forward couldn't be performed. Without being able to continue forward as planned, Malenexum was about to change tactics but it was too late.

"FUC--!"

THUD.

The whole world seemed to go black for a second as the sound of something hitting a hard object was prominent across his head and across anyone in the vicinity of the two fighters. Malenexum's body was pushed sideways with the intensity of the knock, his head wracked with sharp, intense migraine-like pain.

"--GRRR!!!"

However, the retaliation to such a strike would be much more devastating. As Malen moved, he'd slice along the way, his body spinning and moving rightwise from the impact of the attack and his sword hand spinning along with it, and with the blade headed towards the legs of his opponent and aiming to cut deep into the bones of both limbs. The slice was aimed directly at the knees. In the same vein that the opponent had used the momentum used against him, Malenexum would use the momentum used on him against his opponent, but with a SWORD.

With the man currently ending his spin and not being able to even see the move coming (considering he'd hit Malen before actually being able to see him), there were little chances of saving himself from the strike.

Ofcourse, Malenexum right now couldn't think about any of that. His head was still spinning from the strike. Recuperation was underway, as the vampire shook his head frantically growling in pain. Eyes would open and close several times, and his head would turn to his left to look at his opponent.

Malenexum was seething in anger right now. Sword gripped as tight as he could, he'd start to frantically slash against the man's body time and time again, looking down at the idiot with no weapon with a look that could kill. Frantic panting that exhumed particles of saliva through clenched teeth and fangs followed each strike.

Would he stop? At some point. Perhaps after he'd see enough gashes that would take a ruler to measure each, then maybe he'd stop. For now, cutting through the b*****d that had almost knocked his head in half felt pretty satisfying.

b*****d had pissed him off more than he should've.

FIVE!

Make a worthy move, I've cut you more than enough!

I've yet to use all my hatred; I'm much more rough!

If you think you'll win this battle then you've got it tough!

48Sey

Flailing like a fish out of water and feeling her tiny, un-callused knuckles protest as they collided with shield and skin, Sey missed her grab with her right hand and instead of getting a fistful of Afro, she got a fistful of Dash's face with her fingers digging in and catching the bridge of his nose and blocking his right and possibly poking his left eye with her tiny, pretty manicured nails. She was trying to find something, anything to hold onto and her head still hadn't cleared from the previous hit; ears still ringing from the punch.

If he was thinking this fight was ridiculous, she was thinking it was just suicide. She wasn't built for hand to hand brawls with men! This whole fight was a sick little joke - a dream that she'd wake from in the hotel... Right?

Dashboard Wrote:

Dash bent his knees and suddenly pushed forward off his right leg, ramming the shield into Sey. Simultaneously, he reached around the shield with his right arm, placed it in the small of the woman’s back and grabbed hold of her clothing. Effectively, Dash was hugging the mage into his shield. Why did he do this?

“C’mon.”

Dash grunted some as he pressed upwards with his left arm, lifted with his right, and straightened his legs. The predicted result: the ANGRY SHIELD being lifted at a slight angle with Sey forced on top of it. He wouldn’t lift her high, just enough so that her feet were no longer on the ground.

“Let’s take a walk.”

Dreams didn't punch her in the face, crush her against metal shield or heft her off her feet - not without a happy ending and a dance routine at least.

Crying out as her feet left the ground, Sey pulled and clawed at Dash's face and hair, digging her left hand in deeper as he grabbed onto her, his hand on her back further motivating her to yank as hard as she could to draw blood and pain. She would NOT go down without a fight... And the perfect souvenir when this was all over would be a large chunk of Dash's scalp.

Kicking her feet and clambering for some sort of balance or purchase with her lower limbs, Sey desperately tried to use the shield for leverage and fight the crushing grip of Dash's hand on her back; pushing off the angry barrier with her legs and knees and using the added leverage to pull even harder on whatever bit of his hair and face that she could grab and yank. He was bursting her personal bubble - hugging her against his shield and looking into her eyes like that! He had to pay for his trespasses!

Dashboard Wrote:

INCOMING SHIELD/MAGE BASH!

"Nnngg-"

There was no stopping the angry train when it started; though Sey was doing her darnedest to make sure the Conductor of said train couldn't steer very well. Left awfully vulnerable as she was off the ground with her back facing the direction they were traveling, Sey concentrated past the haze of pain and fading stars of her vision and focused on the feel of the things in her fists and trying her hardest to pull, pull, pull with all her might on them. She had tried her hardest to be a big, independent girl this time around, but old habits die hard and Sey was completely utterly and pathetically out of her element and there was nothing she could do about it... Except call for her demon.

"STRYPHE!"

The bell like cry would fill the silo, half grunt, half yell as the White Mage was sent barreling down a path unknown - the only sure thing about that path being that there was more, much more pain for everyone coming round the bend.

Falis help them all.

"HOOAH!"

The air left him as Fox swept the half-demon up in bullet-train a**-grabbing tackle of epic proportions, putting more than one train on the tracks. Two trains colliding, with the Lancer and the white mage in between them.

As he was carried into the oncoming Afro-Sey, Stryphe was still seeing the red opening up across Fox's chest, and he could see it gushing from Fox's back like a trapped crimson demon. All he had to do was raise his spear and send it plunging down, through the spine and into the bowels of his foe. It was right there, in the few moments before the massive collision, he felt the puny resistance of flesh and bone against the eager Midgard Serpent.

He rose his weapon, the air creeping it's way back into his lungs, right hand almost halfway up the shaft and his left at the bottom. The spear seemed to hum in his hands, awaiting the plunge into flesh.

Yes...

"STRYPHE!"

smilies/icon_eek.gif

"GODDAMNIT, SEY!"

Shf! With a flick of his wrists, the blade of the spear turned horizontal, the flat of the blade looking down upon Fox.

SPLATCRUNCHSLAM

The Afro-Sey train collided with Stryphe-Fox, crunching the half-demon and the priestess together and coming to a squishy stop.

The impact was surprisingly soft. A little bony, a little pokey, but for the most part just soft. The Lancer wasn't smashed up against two feet of ceramic plating, but the priestess, which would be much harder on Sey than it would Stryphe. His focus remained on his foe, but the pity for the little white mage was there somewhere.

Upon impact, Stryphe's raised halberd raised even further, not by his command but by an act of momentum. As the half demon would lower his head, stricken with a case of whiplash, he would take in a deep breath and bring down the spear with a MIGHTY HOWL. The tip of the blade would dive with most of the downward force being applied from his right arm, it's grip further up on the spear, so as not to overshoot the close-range melee fighter.

Just as Fox's fist was coming upwards.

As the jaw-shattering uppercut was delivered, the thick, heavy flat of Stryphe's spear would come down on the top backside of Fox's skull like a thunderbolt packaged and signed from Zeus himself.

Or perhaps Mount Olympus itself had just up and fallen out of the sky. Whatever happened, it had been accomplished with bone cracking, concussive force, the pain and fury of the blow echoing down Fox's backbone.

There was the clatter of a spear against the grating, the warm feeling of the blood in his mouth and on his lips. The warmth of the little priestess at his back...

...and the spectators, with all their cameras again. So many, all of them with seemingly endless amounts of film, flashing, flashing...

And then the lights went out.

"Gittem... Seyumi!"

The Emerald Beast would swagger, stagger, then fall.

KO.

Seyumi's phone would suddenly go off with a random text message from James.

Code: I want chinese

51Chen Ning

Within the crowd outside the ring, there was seated a single man, constrasted from the camera flashing, the cheering, and uproar of the crowd upon the KO to one of the fighters, the uppercut from C. Fox causing Stryphe to go lights out. He was a bit near the back, on the higher benches, so he wasn't really of any real attention to anyone, unless they scanned the audience carefully and found an unexcited man wearing shades of some interest. Unknown to most, if not all of them here, he was a cop and a former participant on the scene of this silo. It was only months ago when he was within that ring, fighting through sweat and blood against those who wished for a bloodbath. It wasn't easy, but he had gained a lot from that place. The smell of such foulness was bad, but it did remind him of his early days as a cop, going into the underworld of crime and showing thugs just how serious he was about his work. He did not walk away without his share of punishment, either, taking many scars and wounds upon his body. Were it not for the advanced medical technology of this age, his body would be riddled in numerous scars, his body indescribable of human texture. He had been that much deep in the cruel part of society's dark life.

This place...was like home to him. Even when his hand came up to fix his shades upon the bridge of his nose, his hand had a small spasm that caused him to pause and meditate on what that meant. It was a feeling that he knew all too well, but always tended to hold it back for the sake of professionalism. It was a truth he tried to deny each and every time he walked into this type of environment, where bloodshed and the raw nature of man was contested against one another for the sake of living.

He liked this. He probably savored it like a dog being presented with a strip of bacon, his thoughts packed with the images of the red of blood, the various tones of the human skin, and the usual spots of light that you get when the world goes blank from the perfect hit to the face.

It was horrifying. It was ecstatic. It made him worry.

52Pocket Gal

There was some high pitch squeaky noise in the seat next to the cop. In the center of the seat was a squirrel, a very wide-eyed, drug poppin' squirrel. He had his bag of goodies open, just poppin' those badass pieces of candy into his mouth.

He turned towards the cop, and he began to talk, all squeaky voice with no reason behind what he had to say. "Unfortunately, humanity NEVER ceases to PISS ME OFF."

53Chen Ning

Chen could not help but turn his head to the right, where the squeaky noise was coming from. Even in the bustling of the crowd, he could at least catch its tone of voice, watching as the little animal flipped up two birds and told his opinion. Now, a little talking squirrel would probably freak some people out. But Chen had seen enough in his life to not take this as surprise, but instead a normal occurrence.

However, Chen felt very awkward of whether he should reply back or just ignore the animal. On one hand, he felt that talking to this little squirrel would make him feel like he was pretty low on the social bar. On the other hand, he had to respect the fact that this thing held the intelligence to speak and even held truth in his profane words. Turning his head back toward the fight scene that looked to be over, he fixes the shades on his face, this time his hand not spasming from inner conflict.

He replies to the squirrel in his Asian accent, more American than of foreign words skips: "Humanity is what we make of it. One day, sane becomes insanity, and insanity becomes sane. Another, the roles reverse again. There's not much we can do about that in this free world."

54Pocket Gal

Chen Ning Wrote:

That squirrel didn't care what he had to say. It was all blah, blah, blah. He would continue with what he wanted to say though.

"HAMMERS AND FLOODLIGHTS!"

The squirrel would put one finger up in front of the Asian man's face.

"For folks who do a lot of driving. Have you noticed that over the course of the last few years people have been operating their vehicles with increasingly poorer driving skills as the years go on. I have. And because of this I've come up with a clever way to keep these idiotic motorists in check. It all revolves around HAMMERS AND FLOODLIGHTS!"

55Chen Ning

Chen could already tell this little animal was going to be pretty annoying. Sure, he was trained to have the tolerance of a circumcised monk, but he knew well that such discipline was only an excuse for not dealing with crazy people, or crazy animals. He could go ahead and just annoy it, but he would humor it by pushing further what this thing was getting at.

"Hammers and floodlights, huh? ... How so?"

56Valentine R Hoskuo

Sweet, Valentine landed a blow it's what he lived for. Granted he had to take his fair share to actually get it through, but it was worth it. With his opponent moving backwards(Because Val was on Malenexum's right side, and the blow went to his face, meaning he'd stagger backwards if he was pushed by the attack) Valentine would continue the rest of the rotation so that he would face his opponent once more. Ah ******, he was dizzy. Valentine had to make a mental note that he wasn't going to be doing that again unless absolutely necessary. Val had to make sure that his opponent's 4'8" long piece of annoy the **** outta Valentine didn't come into to play. Valentine's rotation would certainly be able to end before his opponent was able to move back 4'(Distance obtained from Duke of Id) not that it mattered as the man decided to start early. That 14lbs, 4'8" son of a b*h had to take a good amount of effort to get going especially with one hand. Yet, it still was able to connect with the man's knee. The blow was weak, not even being able to cut through the King's pants. This gave the King brand new opportunities. The way he figured it was that if the attack was that weak, his opponent must have bad positioning. Something that Valentine most certainly couldn't let slip away. Once the blow connected, Val would push it away with his knee. No doubt, hurting his opponent's balance once more. Swooping in like a vulture on fresh meat, Valentine would pressure in on his opponent hard.

The new positioning of the two would cause him to be right in his opponent's face, meaning if he swung that piece of metal nothing but his arm would touch Val. Pressuring in as much as he could without losing his ability to attack, he would shift into a new stance. This of course was second nature to Val, and was performed with as much ease as taking a step. With his new stance at the ready, Valentine was ready to start the beating of a lifetime. A flurry of punches would find themselves launching at his opponent's face, and no they would not stop until the man was on the ground. That's the way Valentine was hoping this would work, because throwing these things ******** hurt after a while.

The squirrel blinked, dipping a hand into its basket of hot french fries. How could that guy not get it?

"I HATE STUPID PEOPLE!"

His hand came up with a really hot french fry, slamming it into Chen's eye.

"I'LL STAB YOU ALL WITH MY HOT FRENCH FRIES!"

It would leap up onto the arm of the chair, holding the basket of fries, and fling itself into the crowd.

58Chen Ning

Chen was saved from having an eye full of hot potato by his shades, the french fry squishing against the pane before the squirrel crazily went flying into the crowd. His left hand came up and removed his shades, his right going into the pocket of his overcoat and removing a napkin. He cleans off the front of his shades then replaces them, his eyes quickly catching the image of the squirrel as it goes off to try to attempt a potato massacre.

This was possibly the most random thing to happen to him this day, but a job was a job. Extending his right hand, he concentrates on the hopping body of the squirrel. Mental forces conjure from his mind and manifests itself around his hand in a shimmering manner. Unless one was a psychic themselves, this distorting energy would be invisible to the naked eye.

Mind over matter, he uses his psionic force to stop the squirrel mid way, keeping it from stabbing more people in the eye with its arsenal of hot, steamy french fries. The squirrel would find itself frozen in midair, as if time itself had stopped. Being as little as it was, it was no problem for Chen to use his power to take control over its body.

Next thing it would know, it was being hovered across the air back to Chen, which then its arms would be squeezed against the side of its body with the cop's right hand, caught in his bind.

"Guess what? I handle people who drive poorly every other day. You're under arrest for assaulting an officer, little animal."

This was pretty sad, arresting a small squirrel.

59Kraun

Lololololol, CHUMP didnt realise what this building was did he? He could concentrate all he wanted, but before any fancy psychic power would even begin to manifest, he'd probably have a wicked migraine, 'cause powers didnt exist in the Bloodbath's environmental effect.

Lololololol, powers.

60Pocket Gal

The squirrel went all Matrix style, since squirrels are good at bending, leaping, and changing direction.

"HAAAAH!"

It's little hand chopped down on Chen's right hand, knocking the man's hand down then leaped onto his left arm, clawing its way up. It had the bag of pills in its other hand. Tiny bag, for a squirrel, but probably about 10 pills in it. It grabbed the pills out with its left hand as it got to his face, just as he was speaking.

Chen Ning Wrote:

"Guess what? I handle people who drive poorly every other day. You're under arrest-

So, his mouth was wide open and the squirrel stuffed the pills in the man's mouth, along with a right punch to said mouth to make the man swallow.

"I HATE COPS!"

And then the man would finally get the squirrel with his right hand and cuff him.

"RAAAAAAPE!"

61Chen Ning

((lol I forgot about the no powers rule. xD yeah, I deserve this))

This really must have been an episode of Looney Tunes because he just now had a stock of pills suddenly thrown into his mouth, with the fist of the squirrel following to punch it down his throat. Fetishes aside, the cop quickly bit down onto the hand of the squirrel as he did the best he could to keep the pills from going down his throat, both of his cheeks bloated with air and who-knows what pills.

Using a blow of his lips and a pull with his right hand, he pulled the squirrel's hand out of his mouth. He immediately leaned over and spit the pills onto the floor before standing up and walking toward the exit with the squirrel in hand. The weird taste of the pill's coating sort of rubbed off on his tongue, making him all the angrier of having such a forceful action done to him.

"That's it," he said, walking out of the arena and quickly down the corridor. Entering into a bathroom, he kicks open a stall, throwing the squirrel into the toilet. With a splash, Chen's hand went to the flushing pedal, staring down at the squirrel with a pretty pissed off expression.

The next sound to come from the stall was the sound of water rushing quickly as the pedal was pushed down on.

62Kraun

The the squirrel and the cop got shot by the cieling mounted automated turrets, mowing them both down in a torrent of sudden gunfire.

What hell was this s**t? >:{

Spectators aint suppose to be fighting or causing trouble on the sidelines. If it was a different arena, Deity Inc probably had their power-armor clad security shooting explosive rounds into troublemakers. Its happened before, it'll happen again. Hypocritical? Hellz yes. But nobody cared. The missile silo however, had automated gun turrets installed last year, which well, did the job much sloppier than with some kind of one shot kill. They just simply ripped things to shreds with a wall of supersonic ballistics. Too bad it ruined the reinforced concrete walls of the silo. s**t was gonna need fixing.

63Sey

They weren't supposed to be here, but just like their former High Priestess stuffy rules didn't rule over their lives... They were more like guidelines.

Clustered together and contrasting immensely against the dank atmosphere of the silo was a group of four Falician Clerics, completely absorbed in the fight involving the young spiritual leader. Clasping their popcorn and drinks tightly and sitting on the edges of their seats, they gasped as the White Mage was hefted up onto the shield and the demon fell to the ground.

"High Priestess!"

-----------------------------------------------"Lady Seyumi!"

"M'lady!"

"AHH HOTNESS~ You can't die, I WANNA BANG YOU!"

Various exclamations of concern erupted form their mouths; the last comment directed at Stryphe as the oldest Priestess who came to supervise the younger ones yelled her concerns to receive several stares and raised eyebrows. The sudden outbreak of gunfire directed in the stands took the clerics attention, however, and as they caught sight of the squirrel and man riddled with bullets, they scurried over to drag them out to an area where powers could work - and they could heal them.

"B-but... We'll be missing the fight~!"

Bap

The lone complaint from the teenage boy that had accompanied them was silenced by a bap on the head, the oldest Priestess ordering them out. Her duties superseded the luxury of watching the fight... Though Stryphe had better drop by the Temple later for some... Healing.

The thought made the middle aged woman giggle.

64Chen Ning

Thanks to the antics of a squirrel, Chen's body had been filled with various bullets, and blood was spilling in a bath around him. Irony aside, he was dying, as his vest was doing no good in helping against all the bullets.

"Well, it was a good life while I lasted. Even if I'm not married, haven't caught my greatest enemy yet, and have yet to get the fullness of life, I suppose it's best to leave such a world. It was just fate."

While Chen was mentally being paranoid, his unconscious body was being dragged out of the place for healing by some people he had no idea about. But the unawareness of the help had him continue to mutter his last will from his lips.

Oddly enough, this was triggered by the blood across his chest. Fox did not like to get cut up. Fox did not enjoy bleeding. His body was a temple which he held dearly. This was no magic trick, nor drug enhancement. Only mental toughness and motivation. Had it been any of the mentioned above, the BB stage woulda hindered it.

OSU!

''-Hh... Hh... Hh-... Huh?''

What's this?

''The SMASH, it worked!''

Fox was starting to come into his senses. But he won't damn sure remember any of the last bits tomorrow. He was still dizzy. If he moved, he'd fall onto his a** and that'd be bad. This had to end now.

GODDAMMIT, DAAAASH!!!

She just kept going! It baffled him to no end. In spite the hopelessness of the situation, the Asian woman continued to fight on. Under different circumstances, Dash might have commended her for such determination. After all, he knew the nature of Heaven or Hell (although he often wondered if anyone else did). First and foremost they were here to entertain the masses, be it through showmanship or sheer brutality. Dash always chose the former for he wasn’t one of those psychotic bastards trying to rip off arms and sever legs. At least, there was no one in this scrub fest that he had the desire to brutalize in that manner.

SCRATCH! PULL! RIP!

And then Sey had to go and mess with his looks. Blood seeped from wounds created by the mage’s nails. He’d move his head to the side, protecting his eyes and limiting majority of the damage to left side of his face.

The charge continued, his path not wavering too far from its intended route. He had a hell of a time trying to keep hold of her and would have lost control altogether was it not for:

Impact.

Following the ALL-BASTARDS sandwich, Dash took a couple steps back. He had finally freed himself of the mage’s grasp and was now able to assess the situation. His eyes never went further than the clump of bloodied dark brown hair clenched tightly in woman’s fist.

W…What?

First he ran his right hand along his face, feeling the sting of the multiple scratches, and then through his hair. There was a large patch of raw flesh where ‘fro used to be.

He nearly dropped his shield.

Dash was visibly trembling. At first it was shock. He had been defiled, his stunningly good looks ruined! Then all at once, his surprise turned to RAGE. His eyes burned with hatred that was once only reserved for Katie of Honestly Nice Guys. The stained right hand clenched into a tight fist. It’s a shame that the arena’s passive effect hindered his ability to channel Ki. If it hadn’t, the guy would be a torrent of swirling FITE ENERGY right about now.

“Y…You….”

No, there was no point in speaking anymore. Words could not convey his anger.

He had something better in mind.

Dash’s right hand shot down and grabbed firm hold of Sey’s hair. If she fell from the collision, he’d yank the woman back to her feet. His left arm would lift slightly, lining the ANGRY SHIELD up in front of her face. Viewers at home held their breath; many of them even shielded their eyes. For a moment it looked as if the angry black man was about to bash the Asian woman’s face into his shield repeatedly.

And he would have too, were it not for his teammate’s voice.

Desperate.

The word was the understatement of the year, coming nowhere near to what Sey was right now - hanging off a shield with her legs shoved against it as her opponent charged with her into something. Something painful.

Desperate.

This situation validated a new level of the meaning to the word. A warm liquid covered the tips of her fingers, seeping under her nails as she clutched at her opponent, crying out in anger and emotion - emotion that was welling up within her and seeking outlet in her actions and voice.

Desperate. She was so much more then desperate.

The angry train crashed to a stop as her back slammed into Stryphe's, her painful gasp adding a feminine touch to the chorus of manly yells and grunts. She felt the solid wall of muscles behind her move in a sharp, strong moment and then relax; slowly softening as Stryphe staggered and fell, his voice sending a tingle throughout her entire body as she fell to her knees with a sharp gasp.

Stryphe Wrote:

"Gittem... Seyumi!"

No.

NO.

"NO!"

Scrambling to her fallen teammate on her hands and and knees, Sey touched her shaking hands to Stryphe's body and touched his forehead; searching his aura for the extent of his injuries and then feeling nothing. There were no abilities in this silo - nothing that she could do to help him in this godforsaken arena. The realization burned in her chest, tears welling in her eyes as she took the pain from the punch and the collision and balled it within her mind.

Crying out as her long locks were suddenly snagged and grabbed by Dash's fist, Sey flailed desperately for something- anything that she could use to inflict pain. Finding the end of Stryphe's halberd jutting out against her left leg and grabbing it's shaft, Sey gripped it tightly as she slammed the butt end of it towards Dash's lower regions ( smilies/icon_xd.gif ) with both hands and a scream of bloody murder.

"KIAAAAAAA~!"

She was alone. Truly and dangerously alone.

If they wanted to have this fight end, they would have to hurt her. There was no stopping Sey when she was this angry or determined. They would have to stop playing nice.

“…”

And Dash doubled over in pain, jerking Sey’s head violently to his right before releasing her hair altogether.

“SSSSSSSSHIT! YOU LITTLE-“

Dammit, she STILL insisted on fighting.

The anger shield hit the ground as both hands went to cup his aching man-regions. That’s all right though, ‘cuz Fox had his back!

''You just don't stop... do you?

I admire that''.

Fox mumbled, muttering this bout's last words. Fox would simply walk over towards Sey. Calm. No rush. She did not need to know.

Remember, he was not in the best shape to run.

He clenched his fist and coiled his right arm. elbow point out like a sharp knife.

Once Sey's head got jerked violently to her left, which was Dash's right...

That'd be the time. The moment he got there.

The End?

Fox swung his right elbow in a downwards angle, into the left side of Sey head. Specifically behind her left ear.

74Sey

Dropping down on her knees as the halberd hit it’s mark and Dash let go, Sey fell to her left and as the pain from the jerk of her neck sparked stars in her eyes. She couldn't see - but she heard steps...

Quote: -Hyyyuuuuuh-!!!

Pushing down and back behind her on the shaft, the halberd's BUSINESS end was sent blindly towards her back - where Fox would be - Sey's vision flashed and went black...

She tried her best.
