Stage13: Kitchen Stadium

Eagleland Metal Chef

The version of Metal Chef filmed in Eagleland has come under criticism from fans of the original. This is because fanboys are never happy.

Kitchen Stadium Eagleland was designed after today's hyper modern restaurant kitchens rather than the the traditional kitchen of the original Metal Chef. Every cooking implement is top of the line, every ingredient as fresh as possible, everything is ready to be completely wrecked. Just remember your presentation points.

Terrain

General - A stable, high tech kitchen set up amidst a sound stage.

Weapons - On top of any cookware you could desire, the ingredients available match competing teams listed favourite foods.

Bonus Effects - The secret ingredient is BRU-tal brand meat tenderizer.

2Suzie le QQ

Every surface was cleaned and prepped. The ingredients were laid out for each participants favorite meal, ready to chopped up and cooked. Except, this was HoH, where HUEG gais throw whole cows, half cooked, at other HUEG gais. Raw ingredients were bound to be flung around this tidy kitchen, putting the place into a state of chaos as the combatants rip each other apart. . .And the fans will love it.

Nocere entered the kitchen, finally able to wear her outfit specifically made for HoH, and-

Oh st, wait-a-second, Blue Xeno b*h is on time? What the Hell?

After the pitiful display last round, the fight Nocere had been waiting for since HoH began, the alien felt that she needed a fight... Heck, she deserved one. Stuck in that stupid hotel suite with Greem, the dyke, and that Ebris-wannabe, can really work a person up. Yet, Nocere hasn't had a fight to release all the pent up anger and tension. So, she was early, ready to kick some booty and draw some blood... Of course, she wasn't planning on her opponent doing all the bleeding. That would just be selfish of them.

It seemed she was not only early, but the first of her team, or even the opposing team, to get there. The cooking stations were empty, Nocere had the place to herself. The teal alien wasn't about to go frolicking like a pansy, though. She headed to the nearest cooking station, put a pan on the front burner, and turned up the heat.

Izette didn’t say a word as she wheeled up in her electric chair. In the current state she was in, she resembled James quite a bit from the previous round, except for the fact that she had more bandages.

Well, she would have if she didn’t remove them for this match.

Every freshly stitched wound in her hands was revealed as well as the stitches around her delicate ear. As for her foot, it was still up and levitated, but instead of a cast she had it wrapped in a tensor bandage. Around each of their wounds, there were elements of dried up blood as well as fresh blood pooling.

But she just sat there, grinning rather wickedly as she had a smoke in her mouth. It was her signature mark from this year, sitting around with a smoke hanging out of the corner of her mouth. However, this time, retrieving cigarette’s from her coat seemed a lot harder to manage considering that her nerves were still in the process of healing, which left her limited. She probably should have seen a healer before the match started, or at least have her team captain heal up some wounds.

But instead she remained in her chair, grinning.

Why?

Because there were hot dogs.

And Izzy liked her hot dogs

4Maximos

They lost.

Some would say that if you cut off the head of a snake the body dies. But Maximos did not feel that way. Max did not feel any way about their standing in the tournament as long as their was a next round. Once there was no next round, why care about their standing a tournament that they were done with?

What Max cared about, as he shoved past the double doors into...to his complete surprise...a kitchen...Was a good meal, and a good fight.

His mismatched eyes locked on the center of the ring, and nothing else. Without a glance in any other direction, and air of purpose exuding from him, he walked to the stage, his only detour being to scoop up a fresh slab of raw steak from a counter. The meant flapped wildly with each step, as he held it by its large T-bone. Max's dark almsot cobalt blue hair hung down tussled and wet, making it stand out against his pale skin. He wore a black suit jacket, which was open. And indigo pinstripe dress shirt, and a jet black vest. His pants, and spell-stitched boots were black.

Max's skin looked smooth. Too smooth infact. He was as smooth as really only babies should be. Not a mark on him, not a blemish to be seen. That was a side effect to having so much skin lost and ruined and then healed. There was a large knife at his back, its end and hilt popped out from either side of his waist. His clothes were pressed, clean, and pristine. Maximos was...as even he would recognize....A blank canvas. Someone had yet to paint the mess of reds and tears all over him...but by Nocturne someone had better...

But who?

He was in the center of the stage looking rather obvious. And there was the opposing team, Maximos had met none of them. A slight white glow overtook his right eye, like a cigarette burning against the night sky as one takes a drag.

First there was Asherah. Maximos had met her back at the Firebrand so very long ago. He remembered listening to a conversation with her for 30 seconds, and being almost completely sure that it jumped to as many topics in that span of time. There were bewbs. Yes. But Max was in the mood for meat, not milk and cookies.

At which point he worked the steak in his black gloved hand and took a bite clean out of it.

Next was a woman with a chain on her face. She had a definite sort of vicious style about her. Spikes and metal, he approved. But she had a belt...on her waist. And an eye patch. But something told him it was entirely superfluous...Confused, he simply said...

Too winky...

And moved on. That bright orange hair caught his eyes immediately. Infact, he had just pulled a chunk of steak from his mouth, and was about to point when he unexpectedly stopped. She had nearly half a dozen belts on, but not one on her waist. Was that blue skin...? He could have sworn he just saw something move about her heard in think vines like a bed of snakes. She had a face that said she was going to BREAK something or someone, or both. The rest wrote itself, the steak was pulled away, streams of red were wiped from his face and he said.

You.

And pointed straight at Nocere. There would be no other. A twisted, warped, teeth baring grin, that would make a certain purple striped cat seem a Tabby in comparison, split his face and he said...

I like your hair. Lets dance.

Tell me what you eat and I'll tell you what you are.

Strange music began to play off in the background as a man dressed in somewhat ridiculous attire stepped out into the stadium. As the music played and began orchestrating, an announcer of some sort began to spout off a long rehearsed oratory. As he did so, the absurdly decorated man began to survey the stadium about him.

"An indeterminate number of years ago, a man's fantasy became a reality in a forum never seen before: Kitchen Stadium, a giant cooking arena. The motivation for spending his fortune to create Kitchen Stadium was to encounter new original cuisines which could be called true artistic creations.

To realize his dream, he secretly started choosing the top chefs of various styles of cooking, and he named his men the Metal Chefs: the invincible men of culinary skills.

Metal Chef Japanese is Ryugi Kazumaru.

Metal Chef French is Maximos Dark.

Metal Chef Chinese is Sunstrike.

And Stephen Lasanti is Metal Chef Italian.

Kitchen Stadium is the arena where Metal Chefs await the challenges of master chefs from around the world. Both the Metal Chef and challenger have one hour to tackle the theme ingredient of the day. Using all their senses, skill, creativity, they are to prepare artistic dishes never tasted before.

And if ever a challenger wins over the Metal Chef, he or she will gain the people's ovation and fame forever. Every battle, reputations are on the line in Kitchen Stadium, where master chefs pit their artistic creations against each other. What inspiration does today's challenger bring? And how will the Metal Chef fight back?

The heat will be on!"

As the oratory ended, the man walked into a bright spotlight, revealing himself as none other than said Metal Chef Italian Stephen Lasanti. He took one last look about the stadium, with a stern look on his face. Without warning, he grabbed a nearby blue bell pepper in his right hand and took a large bite out of it, the crunch echoing across the arena. The man looked up and smiled, holding back a laugh as he saw the people in the stadium.

The audience applauded as the music hit a crescendo and the man smiled, walking next to a table on the side of Team Eclipse, and grasped a white cloth covering the objects beneath it. He took a deep breath and appeared ready to speak, but paused. After a moment of contemplation, he started up.

"You know... I had a long and fairly ornate speech prepared for today's battle. But I've decided against it, as I'm sure you're all waiting to see the theme ingredient of today's battle. I could make interesting points about each of the teams fighting here today, but I shall not, for I feel that it would be best for them to show themselves off, and give you the full extent of their glorious skills here in Kitchen Stadium. So with out further ado, I bring you the theme ingredient."

With a flourish, the man grabbed the tablecloth.

"Kyo no tema, kore des!"

WHOOSH!

"The theme ingredient is - Pain."

The audience immediately began to cheer loudly, approving of the secret ingredient of the day. The uproar was deafening, you could tell that these were people here to watch Heaven or Hell. The bloodlust was almost tangible as the atmosphere of the Stadium went from one of a cooking facility to one of a gladiatorial contest.

Stephen walked over to the sidelines of his side, and plopped down in a chair contently. A chef's hat, a large bowl of Pot Stickers (his favorite food), his headphones, and his MP3 Player sat on a chair next to him. The little device was still recharging a bit after the last match, but was fortunately able to pump out one more song for his entrance. He patted the headphones next to the player like one would pat the back of an old friend, and quietly wondered how the actual owner of said Kitchen Stadium would take to his entrance antics.

Oh yeah, he almost forgot!

"ALLEZ CUISINE!"

"HEY! Be more careful with that!"

~Further sounds of annoyance and disruptive noises

"Woops! Sorry!" And with a silly grin plastered to her face, everyone's favorite bounty hunter came strolling ever so casually out from the innards of the large kitchen after causing a small ruckus through just trying to scrounge up something to eat back there before the actual round started.

Girl's gotta eat ya know!

Ryke issued a snort on top of her grin, which by the way was looking more smug now than anything as she traipsed on out to greet her teammates and opponents dually, the red-head planted herself down in the first practical place to sit - the remains of a very delicious looking sandwich in her hand. Was she going to share this delectable foodstuff with her friends and the opposing team?

PFFT no.

She glanced over at the tall dark and sophisticated looking fellow off to the side, looking more like he was ready for a Sunday stroll in the park than a fight in Gaia's largest and most brutal tournament and so Ryke kind of tilted her head to one side as he looked back at her, ready to make some sort of comment while chowing down on a very yummy looking chunk of steak but something distracted him and the bounty hunter looked for whatever it was - her eyes falling on Nocere.

Ah.

'Course the blue Xeno broad was the most unique of their whole team, the woman was bat-s**t insane she often thought and definitely scary looking so Ryke took no offense when top-hat picked her first.

No no, It was cool, totally. She understood. She didn't wanna fight him anyway...besides busy with her sandwich!

Yeah. Sandwich. >:[ It was a damn good one too.

'Course, that's when the lights dimmed and some very strange music started pouring out of the unseen speakers somewhere off in the background of the large kitchen turned fighting arena before someone trotted out onto the stage dressed to impress - or for a convention, whichever. And there he went, off on a long winded speech dripping with dramatic perfection a if he stood in front of a mirror and recited the very same lines over and over until he could speak it in his sleep.

Wait, wait wait what was that about some Metal Chef thing - Hey, she knew about that program, her mother watched that crap religiously and...hold up - they weren't on that ridiculous show were they?!

Ryke looked around frantically for any sort of television crew representing the Fooding Network, aside from the usual buncha monkeys with cameras rolling that she'd come to see in just about every stage, reinforcing the idea that these fights were in fact televised more or less.

With a twitching brow she looked straight back at the 'Metal Chef' with a worry, panic stricken face as he trudged over to a large table decorated with a spread fit for such a production.

Ohhh no, no way! Forget that - if they wanted to fight, she'd be more than happy to but anything regarding food that didn't involve consuming it or using it as a weapon was so totally out of the question and Ryke looked over at Izzy nervously.

It was kind of funny to see the bounty hunter looking all worried but was she actually concerned about cooking?

However, her amusing fears were laid to rest when the lighthearted atmosphere quickly became feral and competitive even more so as the audience - wait where they come from?[/i] - anyway it was even more exciting as they roared to life and - No seriously where did they come from? I mean, were they hear before? That's just weird and kind of creepy...

Ya know, it occurred to Ryke now that this was a whole damn kitchen and here she was settling on just a simple sandwich? This had to be remedied, and so the hunter slinked off and worked her way deeper into the kitchen stadium where she found - "OH hell yeah!" - a whole beautiful collection of her favorite snack: Fried and breaded mozzarella cheese sticks, wedges, squares you name it they were there, of course right along with a nice giant bowl of dipping marinara sauce.

Yes, Ryke was satisfied, and planted herself right down complacent to just sit there and munch while eying the competition.

“…What the hell is that supposed to mean?” She didn’t look very impressed by that statement, afterall that could mean a variety of things. Scowling, she continued to puff on her cigarette. She was going to give him a piece of her mind.

Izzy style.

However before she could get another word in loud music began, and a ridiculous looking man wondered in as though he were a member of some sort of circus or something. She wasn’t sure what exactly was going on, considering that she didn’t really watch television. But there went a booming on, and followed by a loud overwhelming voice.

Abruptly, amidst all the hubbub, the studio lights dimmed, and multiple spotlights focused on a portion of the floor directly in front of the live audience area -- a portion of the floor that had just partitioned open to reveal a hole that began to billow smoke.

A deep drum roll played over the speakers, as well as the voice of the announcer.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome . . . Chairman Koji!"

And thus, a Japanese man with a bad haircut, garish outfit, and katana strapped to his side rose slowly from the hole.

"The host of . . ." the announcer began, and Koji responded in earnest.

"METARUUUUU CHEFURUUUUUU!!!"

The audience began to applaud enthusiastically as the lights brightened again. Chairman Koji raised his hand as if he was about to execute a chopping gesture, and a hush quickly fell over the studio once again.

"Charrenjurus . . . Ready?!"

[ Really, Really bored. Oh well, here a post]

Walking into the kitchen oblivious to the event occurring, he entered the kitchen. Realizing the intentions of these people, he went insane as he began yelling at the combatants in fury.

“WHAT THE ********? Who Let These Bloody Wankers Into My Kitchen? I Swear You Better Honor This Kitchen And Cook Up A Masterpiece, Or I’ll Effing Shove You Imbeciles Into An Oven. You Dickwads Won’t Hear The Last Of M…"

Before the Chef could ramble on, he was taken away from security by being blackbagged. It was a sad day in hell for this man, being removed from the stage by force.

Nocere's attention had been on the pan in front of her, as the others had entered the 'arena'. There was a moment when the lights dimmed down, and she let her purple eyes rise and scan the area, but save for that small time, the alien's eyes were downcast. But now, as the man adressed her, her head lifted in his direction. There was a bit of confusion on her part, why was he asking to dance? That made no sense, there really wasn't any room for it, and this was a fighting tournament.

Her left eyebrow rose as she placed the tips of her fingers, of her left hand, in the pan. A soft sizzling sound came off as her skin was burned, she smiled, satisfied by the heat, then moved to remove her fingers and turn the burner off. With her right hand, she grabbed the handle of said pan and removed it from the stove and climbed onto the counter.

Nocere took two large strides across the surface and jumped, towards the neatly dressed man. The heated pan held tightly in her right hand, she'd bring her arm back, then cut across, aiming for his face as she came down. She wasn't particularly in the mood to dance, but little bit o' fightin' could be fun.

[1/17]

11Maximos

Maximos didnt move.

Nocere didnt hide, she didnt sneak. There was nothing to be misunderstood in what she did. She came straight at him, and the entire time his mismatched black and white eyes were locked on her the pools of unnatural purple in her skull.

There was no way Maximos could have not seen that attack coming. But Max was busy watching other things. He was watching her face. He was watching her eyes. He wanted to see if she would flinch before striking an unmoving target like himself. He wanted to know if she could stand to hurt a stranger while his eyes were so intently staring into hers. A normal person would hesitate. They would pause. Guilt and social training would interlock like bricks and make a wall. Perhaps it forms at the start, perhaps at the last crucial moment...Nocere was clearly a female, but if she were a Lady...well a lady would never have swung that pot.

DONG!

Nocere was no Lady. But it didnt seem to bother her. Infact, it wasnt going to be a problem in the slightest.

That was not the sound of metal against metal. It was not the sound of a last minute defense. It was the sound of a metal pot smashing into bone, it was accompanied with the sight of Maximos' head and shoulders jerking violently to the side. He didnt fight the blow until Nocere was halfway through its arch at which point his boot slid out and cemented a footing on the linoleum. Max's neck and shoulders locked, and then shoved back against the pot. This sight, was followed by an almost electrical crackling sound. Not magic...flesh. The sound of hot metal scorching and ruining a perfectly smooth pale complexion.

Max, was still grinning. In truth he was relieved. He was a gentleman, through and through and knew how to treat a Lady. He understood that women are considered by most to be a weaker, fairer sex. That they most must be handled delicately....But he had quite honestly had his fill of cardboard and porcelain dolls. Now, it was time to cut loose.

Despite his grinning, and the slight chuckle on his voice Max wax in pain. Lovely. Delicious pain. The scalding metal was melting his skin. If she pulled away, she would be pulling away a good patch of grainy dermis which would stick to the pot like molten rubber. Despite this, and how much time seemed to have past all he could be heard to say, just after being struck was....

Perfect!

In a delightfully suave, yet inherently twisted tone. Maximos didnt move, he just stood there, grinning mad and holding a 3/4ths eat T-bone steak, like he was waiting for something.

The pan hit the psycho man's face and he took it like a pro. The skin sizzled beneath the metal, but he continued to smile. Now this Maximos was someone Nocere could learn to get along with.

The sado-masochist was almost elated as she started to pull the pan away from her opponents face. Skin pulled away along with it, but the man kept up his happy tone, even managed a "perfect" which caused the alien to smirk.

Enough with the fluff. The jump had caused the pair to get a bit closer than Nocere had intended, she was aiming to throw a right then uppercut him, so she stepped back. She then lowered her her right hand, swinging it slightly behind her, the twisting towards the left, so much she was almost standing with her right side to him, brought the pan back up aiming for a hit to the chin.

Now, Nocere didn't let the lack of retaliation escape her. She was actually a bit disappointed that there was no action coming from the opposing side. It wasn't completely fair that this guy was takin' all the hits... But that wasn't the only reason the alien was disappointed. There had to be some reason Mr. Monopoly wasn't hitting back. Was he chargin' his lazur? she'd have to be careful.

[2/17]

14Maximos

There was something so sickeningly wrong with this picture. This man had just a good portion of the side of his face cooked, and then removed! But both of these people were smiling!?

Yes. Yes they were. This was wrong in every way it needed to fit that spot that made it oh, so right.

The stroll in the park that Maximos was dressed for, had just begun to go wrong. The skin pulled away revealing raw red flesh sending pins and needles danced and stabbed along the Shadow's face. Within seconds the injury had begun to pucker with red beads which raced eagerly down his face like wicked rain and stained his collar and neck. He felt a few teeth wobble during his wide grin, but hadnt time to worry about that.

Right now, Nocere was arching back preparing to swing. And right now, Max had his steak lodged in his teeth, and was gleefully tearing the last chunk away. Watery red from the raw meat oozed down his face and, Whoops! He was just making a mess. Now, a hit to the face again would have been wonderful, but...he could still feel the heat from the last. They needed to mix things up. Add a few new steps to the dance. For instance, if Nocere swung with her left and got maybe...shanked? In her swinging arm, somewhere between the elbow and wrist? Well that could be interesting.

Max had a nice clean, well kept knife at his back. But he didnt go for it. He didnt want to go for it. He was already armed. Currently Max was yanking meat off a large steak bone. A T-bone. That meant there was this flat length of bone, and then an odd misshaped shaft protruding from the center of the flat length. Maximos index and middle, then ring and pinky fingers were holding the bone very securely, and quickly sent it soaring at Nocere's arm. If all went right, the two arms would meet at the side, the pot would be stopped and there would be a new bone in Nocere's arm that she entirely did not need.

II of XVII

15Suzie le QQ

Be careful what you wish for.

The T-bone hit it's mark, digging into the middle of Nocere's forearm. Blood immediately began to ooze from the wound as the uppercut was stopped dead. A hiss escaped her, but it was nothing vicious, a hiss of pure bliss.

Nocere's arm would changed direction, instead of going up, she turned it to slide up her opponent's forearm. She tried to curve it around so that their elbows would lock and the pan would be going over her left shoulder as she pulled her dancing partner closer. Of course there was one thing that could cause a problem with this: the t-bone stuck in her forearm. Nocere would be fine if he planned to keep it there, or if he planned to remove it, those shouldn't stop her from looping their arms.

If Maximos decided to keep a hold on the bone and make sure it was lodged nicely into her arm, then the motion would be hella strained. She'd still try anyway. If the motion worked out and her opponent was pulled in closer, her left arm would rise from it's resting position at her side, and would try for a simple cross jab to the right, and still kept together, side of his face.

[3/17]

16Maximos

That sound was beautiful. It was practically melodic. And being a musician and an appreciator of fine arts, Maximos simply had to move closer. He stepped in.

The T-bone wouldnt be too much of a problem because, once he felt her blue skin give, and his knuckles smack against soon to be wet flesh, his hand was on the move. Inspiration would carry him.

Nocere wouldnt have to pull Maximos closer, he was already advancing, but he did nothing to resist her pull. Instead, his gloved right hand slid right up her arm until it came to rest at her wrist, which he would then softly grab. Depending on a number of things, his fingers may just have traced a stained path in her own vitae up her arm. In one speedy, long-legged step, Max was close. Very close. Closer likely than she had expected, or possibly even cared for. He was close enough that the scene of bath soap that always permeated him, and the scent of blood which he wore happily, would be strong in the air.

She was going to punch. He had no idea, but likely Maximos was accidentally in the way. His left shoulder was less than a half foot from touching hers and being tall, taller than her as well as so close...might make a jab awkward. What with having to punch around and up, though it went without saying that she was welcome to try. It could only make this better. His left hand had shot forward. Not for a punch, but instead to land on her hip. Because, with a hand on her hand, and another onher hip, the both of them so close he was in the closest thing to an actual dancing pose possible, and he would say.

You dance so well!

And he meant it, as sincerely as he had ever been. The words would sort of trail off either as he lead into his next action, or perhaps as her fist met his mouth. But if not jabbed, then to fully explain himself, he would send a headbutt crashing forward across the distance.

Raven didn't have much of a clue as to where the hell that little song came from either smilies/icon_xp.gif ...all she knew was that it popped into her head when she saw the stage, along with a garbled memory of someone getting toasted by an oven, and Ryugi battling another man with a loaf of french bread... smilies/icon_sweatdrop.gif It was no wonder she was confused with stuff like that running through her head.

He grinned at her, before taking one of the sweets for himself.

Isn't this a dainty dish to set before the king!

"Hullo sweetness."

He would sit with Hono, content to watch his captain at work, at least for the time being. It was really really good that Maximos was okay, there was no putting off how badly the other man had treated himself through this whole tournament, no ignoring it. But Sun was fairly sure he knew who's work kept the shadow running, at least in a few respects.

And a thank you was in order, plus a top up to Hono's own energies, sugar being a good answer to a low battery.

"Mmph." He took a bite of sugary goodness and started to size up the other side, most who seemed to be doing the same and taking advantage of the free foodstuffs. The other side was really good, he was most impressed by their...collected assets.

What? He wasn't blind.

And yes, he was wearing the obligatory "Kiss the Cook" apron.

19HonoRaven

"Hello Sunstrike....Who the heck would want to eat blackbirds? Yuck!" smilies/icon_xp.gif Raven gave a pretend little shudder as she smiled and happily pulled off a piece of Suns' piastre for herself, more than happy to avail herself of any free snacks that might happen to come out of this match.

MEANWHILE...

...Stephen was sitting next to three Japanese men, staring at the large MEANWHILE... that had popped up above his head. The other men seemed to be engrossed in their own devices. Two of the man sat behind a commentator desk, while the other stood speaking into a headset next to a very confused looking cameraman. Their English wasn't very good so they were speaking in their native tongue. For the purposes of color commentary, made things very complicated, especially for the viewers at home. However, with the power of technology, these things can be remedied by the awesome glory of English Voice Dubbing!

"Fukui-San!"

"Yes Ōta, go ahead!"

"The Metal Chef has just stabbed the challenger with a T-bone in retaliation to his face being burned off with the hot pan. While the Metal Chef hasn't dropped any hits, if I had to guess I'd say he's going to mix the two vital fluids in a Two Blood Marinade"

"The Two Blood Marinade, a classic choice from the Metal Chef! The challenger is going to have a hard time keep up with that! If he puts that together with a nice piece of sirloin, he'll have a guaranteed crowd pleaser for sure! What do you think Doc?"

"Mmmm, yes, that sounds fantastic! I hope he mixes in some red wine and garlic. Absolutely delicious!"

"The marinade has hit the pan here in Kitchen Stadium as the Metal Chef uses the theme ingredient in a time tested opening gambit! But will it be enough dominate over the challenger? Or will the Metal Chef end up getting served up like a thanksgiving turkey? Man alive, this is exciting!"

SUDDENLY!!

...The lights dimmed at the stage area of the kitchen and music began to play. Strobe lights began to pulse as green laser lights flashed and shot across the culinary arena, fog machines churning out smokey awesomeness. The fans went wild with cheers!

FIRE!! FIRE!! FIRE - FIRE!!

OH OH OHOHOH OH OH OH!!

FIRE!! FIRE - FIRE!!

OH OH OHOHOH OH OH OH OHOHOH!!

Chairman Koji spun around and spoke, taking a bite of his pepper. Radies and Gentermenaru! Metal Chef Japanese, RYUGI KAZAMARUARUUUU!!

ROCK IT!! ROCK IT - ROCK IT!!

ROCK IT!! ROCK IT - ROCK IT!!

In a burst of sparks of flames shooting up from the stage, Ryugi came bursting into view as he was launched up from under the stage by a catapult. He wasn't wearing his usual duds either. He was wearing a Japanese style headband with a yin yang on it, and a second flowing red headband as well. His forearms and feet were wrapped in linen, and he was wearing black shorts with a white kung fu belt holding it all up. And in his right hand was a bowl of ramen noodles!

NIGHT OF FIRE!!

NIGHT OF FIRE!!

As he landed, he set the bowl of noodles aside and stared long and hard at Izzy in her chair as he shot his arm out, pointing directly at her as sparks flew and a glint of fire flashed across his eyes.

You!! Let's heat it up!!

And with that, Ryugi charged, jumping off the ramp and soaring through the air towards Izzy!

FIRE!!

Round 2 Start [1/17]

22Cthulhu Wish

Omnomnomnomnomnom.

Izette managed to clean up the last bit of her plate with her gibbled hands and grinned. She always enjoyed a delicious meal and served with her favorite foods! Now that Elegant Top Hat Head and Bitchy McBitchfaced had finished, it was time for the next round.

However, the lights instantly dimmed and smoke began to play a long with a great deal of other bells and whistles, which were clearly overpriced. There, the comic book hero appeared before her and gave her a hard long look as she sat in her wheel chair.

She knew what that meant.

Hell, who didn’t?

It was the eyes of a fighter, and he was in the mood to kick some a. Which was good, cause Izzy always liked kicking some serious a after a delicious meal. Before he even spoke, Izette stood up on the chair onto her gibbled foot and winced.

Yeah, it hurt.

But that’s what she got for fighting with a bummed foot. As she stood she clearly was showing off her new apparel that she was wearing for this fight, purple chef gear. Turning back around Izette grabbed a hold of a purple fluffy chef’s hat that she had been sitting on.

Instantly, sparks flew in a variety of places as he pointed at her. She in response only raised her eyebrow at him as he continued to try and show off.

Ryugi Kazamaru Wrote:

You!! Let's heat it up!!

And with that, Ryugi charged, jumping off the ramp and soaring through the air towards Izzy!

“Didn’t your mother ever tell you it was rude to point?” Izette continued to stand by her chair, which was conveniently still located close enough to the counter where she had set her plate. Grabbing onto it, she turned her body as and flung it as though it were a discus.

But it was hard to say were it was going to land considering how her nerves were at this point. Nevertheless, there was a dirty disk attempting to head in Ryugi’s direction. And it was his turn to do dishes.

[1/17]

23Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi did the dishes with his fist!

As the discus came at him, he punched straight through the porcelain plate, sending whatever remainder of food was on it spilling across the linen on his right arm as he landed and grabbed the first thing that came to hand on the counter.

It was a week old.

It was over-baked.

And it was full of carbohydrates...

That's right folks.

It was the return of the Carbohyblade!

But this was the Mark II version, and it came with a +2 to awesome and a bonus in its Crusty Justice stat!

Ryugi took up a pose only a heroic chef could take, and pointed the Carbohyblade directly at the Violet Vigilante once more, grinning like a madman.

You're past your expiration date!

And it's time to take out the trash!

And with that, Ryugi lunged towards Izzy, swinging the carbohyblade across from right to left, aiming to smack her in the head with its crusty brand of flavor...

[2/17]

24Cthulhu Wish

Izette’s eye’s widened at the site of the monstrous bread based blade he brought out. What the hell was that? Nevertheless, Izette hobbled backwards. With each swing she was more focused on not having her fall on her face due to her injured foot.

THUNK!

She really should have been paying more attention. With the smack to the left side of her face, Izette was smacked over towards the counter where various pots and pans were. However, this seemed like the most ideal spot for her to land. Struggling to grab onto various items, she finally managed to reach two items. But at this point, he would have managed to get another good swing in across her head, which caused her to roll over.

Shaking her head to the side, she attempted to regain focus as the blade went in for another swing. At this point she too swung her own hand towards it.

SMACK!

The Carbohyblade made contact with something else that clearly wasn’t the woman that he was smacking around before. She too now had a weapon.

Izette managed to get a hold of a wooden spoon in her right hand, and a pot lid in her left. As she gripped the weapons, the stitches in her knuckles began to slow tear. Damn, this wasn’t good.

But at least now she had self-defense!

The Carbohyblade had managed to smack the pot lid beside her, and she grinned. Lunging forward a bit, the pot lid scraped against the breadblade causing a variety of tiny crumbs to fall. But she wasn’t done, with every movement, she wound up her right hand in order to prepare to hit till finally she was close enough to unwind.

Izette swung the spoon in order to smack him across the face, just like how mom would do it.

Because this was considered to be tough love.

[2/17]

25Ryugi Kazamaru

Seeing the spoon-based assault, Ryugi ducked down low, and then charged, turning his torso slightly as pulled the Carbohyblade back and aimed to shoulder ram the Violet Vigilante. Of course, in the short distance between the two, the impact wouldn't be very much to worry about, however, behind the both of them was a table.

A table that held a plate. A plate piled high with one thing...

Suddenly, hot dogs. Dozens of them!

The pair would collide with the end of the flimsy table, and the table would flip up, sending its massive mound of meaty munchies flying through the air to rain down upon the two combatants. It would be raining cats and dogs!

Well, dogs anyway...

[3/17]

26Cthulhu Wish

Aw Crap.

Those were the first things Izette could think of as he ducked, and what was worse as the fact that he was charging now too. Since she wasn’t really in a position to move swiftly away.

Instead, she took it like a man.

As soon as they made contact, Izette and Comic Boy went flying backwards into the table, which caused her to loose contact with her pot lid. This also caused a greater problem as the table flipped. As the plate of various foods began to rain down, she grinned even more wickedly.

She was in heaven.

It was raining hot dogs.

“I’m just singing in the raiiiiiiiiiin~”Her voice was rather off key as she performed her next move. Since the two of them were both still very close together, Izette still remained gripping onto her spoon. With her left hand, she ran her fingers through his silver hair and grabbed tightly onto it. Now that she was able to see his face a lot better she shoved the back end of her spoon in a rather unpleasant place.

His nose.

She figured that it was a good version of revenge considering the footage she saw of him using chopsticks on his opponent in inappropriate ways. And since the back end of a wooden spoon was a lot thicker than a chopstick, it was going to hurt a lot more.

And hopefully, it was going to bleed a lot more.

[3/17]

27Ryugi Kazamaru

Well, there was one difference...

Ryugi's opponent had had both of his hands otherwise occupied when Ryugi had used the nose blow, which prevented him from easily stopping it.

Ryugi himself had both hands more or less free.

Thus, the spoon came up as did Ryugi's left hand, which gripped the handle of the spoon, and jerked it towards Izzy's face. Of course, he didn't have any kind of grip to be able to return the favor, so he just jerked his hand towards Izzy's face in a sort of one-inch-punch towards her nose. It probably wouldn't break her nose, but it would probably hurt, and stun her for a split second.

Meanwhile, his right hand swiftly sheathed the Carbohyblade at his waist as his left went right for the kisser. Using the belt to hold the Bread Blade Ryugi snatched one of the fat falling franks out of the air with his right hand before sending it towards Izzy's face.

Eat up!!

It was a double whammy!

[4/17]

28Cthulhu Wish

Izette was beginning to think that she was going to have to get a nose guard considering how many times she kept getting hit in the nose. The one-inch punch did make its way towards her nose causing her to receive a rather rude awakening. She was stunned for only a moment. However it was rather clear to her that there was a hot dog flying her way.

“I already ate!” Pushing his torso downwards with her hands that were still gripping his head, she brought her left foot and smoked him into his chest cavity. This would be enough to wind him, and that’s about it. Once making the contact she would push him away from her.

She was tired of looking at him.

And besides, there was more too look at within their arena.

[4/17]

29Ryugi Kazamaru

Well, that was a good hit. But then she went to try and push his head down. Now, Ryugi didn't know exactly how tall Izzy was, but she looked to be about five and a half feet tall to Ryugi's six feet. As his head was above hers, it would be more awkward to try and push him down than she might have thought.

But, that didn't really matter since he got hit in the chest anyway. The distance involved meant that Izzy wouldn't be able to place as much force into Ryugi's torso to wind him, though it WAS mildly unpleasant. But, winded or not, she'd easily be able to gain enough force to push him back, as he wasn't exactly holding on to anything to steady himself but the spoon.

Ryugi was pushed back and away from Izzy, and wobbled back, still watching her as he let go of the spoon and quickly grabbed the next thing that came into range. It turned out to be a ladle sitting in a pot of molten chocolate. Ryugi gripped the utensil and swung it across the gap, slinging piping hot goop towards Izzy. If it didn't burn, it'd make one hell of a mess! That stuff stained AND stuck.

Chocolate Rain!!

[5/17]

30Cthulhu Wish

Chocolate Rain!

Some stay dry and others feel the pain!

And this time Izette decided it was best for her to stay dry. She went to move away from the molten goob that was being flung towards her in attempts to avoid the painful burn that was coming her way. Unfortunately for Izette, her damaged foot wouldn’t allow her to grab onto the counter quickly enough to get away from him. She winced as she could feel the drizzling liquid hit the side of her left arm as she made the turn. Now she had a bummed hand AND a nasty burn.

This didn’t please Izette, not for one moment.

However, despite the fact that she didn’t manage to get away, she did manage to find herself near more ingredients that were more to liking. The woman turned around with a bowl and tossed its contents towards his face. And due to the close enough range that they were at he was going to feel the burn of the hot contents. And these hot contents were known as Chicken Ramen.

This would cause him to burn in pain, as it was fresh.

And it was for him.

However, this young chef wasn’t done her signature move.

As soon as the Ramen would make contact with his face, the woman moved towards him even more quickly. It was a bit of a hobble, and she was limping. But she was limping rather quickly for a cripple. Gripped in her hands there was a small bottle of a mysterious liquid. About reaching one step away, Izette pushed with both of her legs to give herself some lift.

Yeah, it hurt.

And she didn’t get enough air as she would like, but there would be enough for her to reach his face. With one quick swing of her arm, she would swing the bottle in his face causing it to break just as she was making her trip down to Earth.

But this wasn’t any mysterious red stuff.

It was hot sauce.

It was 357 Mad Dog Hot Sauce.

The mere smell of it would cause both of their sinuses to go crazy. However, despite what Izzy knew the label was said otherwise.

357 Mad Dog Hot Sauce Label Wrote:

Hottest Hot Sauce #1.This killer sauce is packing 357,000 scoville units of heat. One hit will blow you away! We blend Chile extract, fresh Habanero peppers, 160,000 scoville super Cayenne peppers, garlic and onion to makes a sauce that can truly take your breath away. Mad Dog 357 is the hottest hot sauce ever made......

Any hotter and it can't be called a sauce! 5 oz.

This was probably going to blind him since it was close to his eyes. For how long, that was really hard to say. But permanent damage seemed like a more likely of an effect.

[5/17]

31Suzie le QQ

Nocere's movement to bring him in closer was unneeded. Maximos stepped in willingly. The pungent smell of blood causing Nocere's eye to glare ever so slightly. It was sickening, causing her stomach to rumble. Her opponent held her right hand, pulling it back aways and forcing their bodies right up against each other.

The jab, because of the height difference and Maximos' arm sudden movement towards her hip, struck the man's shoulder. It was a bit frustrating, but she quickly swung her arm forward and over his shoulder. The pair looked like decaying couple doing a waltz. Blood trickling down his face onto his nice getup, while blood ran down the length of Nocere's forearm. The alien's countenance seemed quite content as the man in front of her smiled like a lunatic.

Maximos Wrote:

You dance so well!

He spoke and as he did, Nocere's arm wrapped around his shoulders so that her left hand was at his left, peeled/burned cheek. While she moved, her opponent might catch a gleam of the large piece of metal protruding from her forearm. It was of no importance for the action she was about to make. Which was simply, her nails digging into the raw flesh and muscles on his injured face, grabbing as much as she could and pulling back.

His headbutt could either help or hurt him. Either Nocere didn't grab quickly enough, or she was just in time and pulled away some of her opponents face. Either way; Max's head connected with her own. Her left leg took a step behind to help her keep balance, while her torso bent back a little, adding to the "waltz" effect. Her head was spinning, not literally of course, and she just hoped there would be as little of that as possible.

[4/17]

32Ryugi Kazamaru

Ryugi smelled ramen.

Ryugi LOVED ramen.

...He just didn't like to bathe in it.

SPLOOSH

Ryugi was covered in piping hot ramen noodles. But he wasn't exactly in pain. But, why?

Quote: Body (Human Form) - Ryugi's body is built slightly different than that of a normal human. Muscle allows for slightly faster movement, and more powerful physical attacks. His bones are slightly stronger than those of a human being, and are resilient to damage as well as lightweight due to their construction. Ryugi’s senses are also enhanced, giving him an edge on the battlefield. Ryugi is immune to fire or heat damage, and is slightly resistant to light or holy attacks.

Simply put, he wasn't feeling the heat. Besides, if he couldn't stand the heat, he wouldn't be in the kitchen. Ryugi could stand the heat, but could Izzy?

It was time for a super secret METAL CHEF TECHNIQUE!! Izzy was about to experience the mysteries of the orient! As she hobbled towards him and grabbed the hot sauce Ryugi grinned. He didn't intend to get a bottle to the face or head, regardless of what it was filled with. Thinking quickly, he looked to his end of the kitchen, filled with various Japanese goodies. He quickly grabbed a dish filled with a brown sauce and poured it over his right fist, the linen soaking it up completely.

By now, Izzy was airborne and quickly moving towards him, but Ryugi was ready. He stepped forward, undercutting her attempt to strike his head, chambered, and leaped as hard as he could, his right arm shooting upward as ribbons of brown salty sauce flew off in every direction as he shot into a mighty rising uppercut straight into Izzy's torso with as much force as he could muster!

SHOYU-KEN!!

Quote: Shoyu: Soy sauce, a salty sauce made from fermented soybeans. There are all levels of quality, from “supermarket level” to artisan soy sauces. As with any other products, you can taste the difference. The finest soy sauces aren’t merely salty: You can taste a winey flavor and the beans themselves. Usukuchi shoyu is “light” soy sauce.

s**t just got real...corny.

Fight: Ryugi vs. Izzy

"Fukui-San!"

"Yes Ōta, go ahead!"

"Metal Chef Japanese has just used the Super Secret Metal Chef Technique Shoyu-Ken against his opponent!"

"Man alive! The Metal Chef is really going all out against his opponent! We haven't seen a move like the Shoyu-Ken since the '95 Pain match between the Metal Chef and his opponent Startha Mewart! The daytime TV star tried to finish off the Metal Chef with a homemade bundt cake laced with arsenic and maraschino cherries, but the Metal Chef countered with the infamous super secret move and put Startha in a coma for 12 years! What do you think Doc?"

"I think he's planning on using the Shoyu-Ken with noodles to make his signature Dragon God Ramen with Chicken and Hot Sauce. A classic move by the Metal Chef in a competition such as this, and with a heaping helping of the Theme Ingredient added by way of a punch to the chest. I just hope he remembers to add just a little bit of teriyaki sauce and white wine to the mix. Delicious!"

"Things are getting saucy here in Kitchen Stadium. Will the Metal Chef hit a home run with his concoction? Or will he strike out and the challenger steal home? Bang a gong, this fight is on!"

34Cthulhu Wish

Well, despite her efforts. His upper cut made contact with the bottle instead of his head. This would cause the bottle to shatter in both of their hands. This cause hot sauce to fly everywhere as well as glass.

Lucky for her though, cause of his saucy attack that Ryugi had provided, Izette was sent flying backwards. She was glad about this, for her sinuses were going to be damaged over this one. That was rather nice, for she really didn’t think she could handle being blinded at the same time as the attack. But instead, she could feel the hot sauce enter into some of her open wounds in her hands.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"

She screamed rather loudly as she felt the burn. She wouldn't be surprised if the Elegant Top Hat Dude went into shock now for hearing such language as she went flying.

As her body went up…

And up…

And up…

And...

DOWN!

THUD!

Izette crashed against the ground on the other side of the counter where normally the chef’s would have been cooking. After a few seconds of resting of the floor, Izette stood up and held her head.

Ow….

That one hurt.

And she couldn’t breathe really. As she attempted to catch her breath, she noticed something on her shirt.

Something brown and liquid-like in form.

Damnit, he got soy sauce on her shirt.

[6/17]

((Editted for coding and details due to misreading.))

35Ryugi Kazamaru

The mystical power of the SHOYU-KEN blasted through the bottle of hot sauce, shattering the bottle and sending its spicy contents all over the both of the fighters! Ryugi's linen-wrapped and soy sauce-soaked first and forearm were left virtually unharmed by the shattering glass, but his cheek was caught by a flying shard, cutting a neat line under his eye, causing blood to trickle down his face.

Luckily, Ryugi had closed his eyes to avoid direct contact with the contents of the bottle, and as he landed, he used his dry, wrapped left arm to wipe the sauce from his forehead and away from his eyes. The cut on his cheek stung like the dickens from sauce that clung to the shard. The salt in the proverbial wound...

But, Metal Chef Japanese had a mission. He couldn't worry about his new red-stained doo at the moment. He took a breath through his nose and immediately coughed as the overpowering smell from the hot sauce choked him. It was virtually overpowering. Ryugi had a powerful sense of smell, and the aroma was nearly suffocating him. Izzy had done well to use that against him...

But Ryugi was not without his own resourcefulness.

He jumped back to the counter and spied a bag of jumbo pretzel sticks, unsalted. Thinking quickly, and breathing through his mouth, he snapped one in half, bit off both ends, and shoved the halves up his nose!

With his new mustache ready and set to combat the terrible smell by cutting the sense off completely, Ryugi quickly moved into action!

Using some of the sauce from his hair and his left arm, he dipped his soy-soaked right arm into a pot of ramen and shook it off, before following suit with his left, which mixed the two sauces together along with the noodles. He frantically searched for his final ingredient when he spotted the perfect substitute! He couldn't smell it of course, but he saw it on the oven near his counter.

It was fully prepared.

It was golden brown.

It was Roast Duck.

Ryugi grabbed the crispy fowl and quickly chopped it into pieces before dumping the whole mess into the pot. By now, Izzy would have recovered from her fall, and looked up from her shirt to spy the final addition to his finishing dish plopping into the ramen noodles...

...This wasn't gonna be pretty.

36Maximos

IV of XVII

It was a gorgeous thing. And a twisted thing. Beautiful in its abstract glory.

The Dance Macabre.

There were red blood stains, purple blood streaks, glinting steel and messy wounds. But there was also an issue...

It was not the thud of her punch being misshapen by Maximos' accidental shoulder placement. It was as her fingers first touched his scorched and exposed blood red cheek. You see...raw flesh just is not so easily pliable. If you pick up a live chicken your fingers will not simply tear through it, but if its dead and roasted however it'll tear as easily a paper. So the problem here, as Nocere's rough and sizzled fingers dug into Maximos' cheek...was that beneath the streams of red the fleshy meat on the side of his face was not raw. It was skinless, yes, but it had been very well cooked. Instead of being red it was whitish pink, and her fingers were able to sink deep, and part his cheek as if it were supply rotisserie.

Her finger dug deep until they found tight raw muscle. And then the problem was compounded.

Max slammed his head forward, there was a sudden jarring as two skulls met. Her fingers were pulling back towards her as Maximos' head was recoiling away from her. And in an instant, Nocere would no longer be feeling meaty encumbrance. Nocere would instead feel bits of hard bone and wetness as her fingers popped through the membrane wall of Maximos' mouth and now looped through like a fish hook. Flesh tore as her fingers luridly kept Max's face from recoiling backwards.

The impact swirled around the red webs of pain shooting through his entire side, and his hand slipped from her hip. But caught itself a bit farther in on the small of her back. But Max other things immediately on his concern...

She looked wonderful, sure enough. And sure, he could smell sweet blood, and feel delicious spasms of pain, but...there was more to this...Something denied and not yet addressed. There were fingers in his mouth, sizzled fingers which tested the pan. Cooked to mouth watering perfection. It was a taste tease....and this...this stadium was a temple to food. To gluttony and hunger. And right now Nocere had moved her foot to brace, and complete the pose. Presumably her head was reeling away, unhindered by finger hooks in her mouth.

Maximos' mouth was open, laughing twisted where there should have been agonized cries. And down that open mouth came, surrendering to her fingers pull as it moved to clamp down viciously on the meat at the base of her neck, in much the same way his teeth bit and tore at that steak moments ago. The grip on her wrist tightened, his fingers spread across her back for support and grip. If she pulled away too fast it would be ruined. Why the neck? Not the face or arms? Because the neck was soft meat, pliable, and juicy when punctured.

She looked wonderful....but how did she taste?

37Suzie le QQ

Nocere felt his cheek give, a good portion of his pale face tearing away in her hand. Maximos moved in, his laughter breaking what silence had been between the two dance partners, and his mouth went to the nape of her neck. Her head hadn't gone back, but she'd forced it to keep straight as possible, so she'd be able to see her opponent as well as her position would allow.

Her eyes widened as his teeth clamped down and he began to eat the teal flesh at her neck. There was a sharp intake of breath as her left hand dropped whatever meaty tissue it still held from her opponents face and reached down to grasp a handful of his hair.

Don't enjoy this Blood would start running down her torso. Don't. The hand holding Maxi's hair released and rose up so that the elbow was parallel to his shoulder. She'd slam her arm down, but her opponent would get a nice surprise as a 12 inch steel blade plunged into him.

If the blade connected there would be repercussions for the alien. As the blade slides, or attempts to slide, through his clothing and into the skin, the hidden edge, held together beneath all those showy belts, would slide back up her forearm. 'Cept this certain weapon was forced under Nocere's skin, so there'd be a reasonable amount of pain as the healed skin broke further and began to bleed.

[5/17]

38Cthulhu Wish

Izette knew the smell rather well…

In fact who DIDN’T know the smell.

Her team members at this point new exactly what was coming as Izzy watched him slice the meat up and pour it into a pan. Her eyebrow twitched slightly as she watched the addition.

But what on Gaia could be?

Ryugi Kazamaru Wrote:

It was golden brown.

It was Roast Duck.

Depression….

Rage…

Anger…

All of these emotions rushed through her mind as finally the woman lost it.

“FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! RATHIN’ JIMBO! YOU RATHIN’ DEAD!”

Small children began to cry as the woman screamed rather loudly. She wasn’t speaking English anymore, she was speaking fluently Ebrinese. At this moment, it was like the small woman was channeling the HUEG bounty hunter, which was a good or bad thing was really debatable. She couldn’t feel the burning sensation in her hand anymore as the heat continued to sterilize the wound.

She was just that mad, and the pain didn’t matter.

The arena speakers began to blast a new theme above the crowd. It was light and soft at the beginning, but it was fully explaining the amount of HAET this woman was feeling at the moment.

We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood,

We kill for honor!

We are the holy ones, our amour stained with blood,

We killed the dragon!

At that moment, she grabbed a hold of her something on the table without even taking a glance at it. It was slimy, it was wet and it was absolutely disgusting. But she didn’t care, that b*****d used a duck in an inappropriate manner.

In glory we return, our destination's end,

We slayed the dragon!

No more living in fear it's time to raise our king,

We made it happen, we're the chosen ones!

At that moment she raised her the weapon up at though to point it to him. And possibly it was one of the most frightening things that he would have seen.

A Marlin Fish.

She was gripping it by the tail so that its nose would be pointed towards him. Izette was now looking a bit like a master swords woman, looking is something completely different than doing however.

However, rather than standing still, she decided to use the fish in a different manner since gripping onto it was proving to be much more difficult than she anticipated as her bummed hands were having difficulties holding on to it. . But she wasn’t really known for thinking. With as much force as she could muster with her body. She prepared the fish as though it were a dart and launched it towards him as though to make an attempt to spear him from across the counter. As the fish flew through the air, it would have made contact with the saucy dish that he had prepared, and it would have kept going.

For a Marlin vs. Soup.

The Winner would be a Marlin.

And it was coming straight for him.

Once launching it, she began to make her way around the counter in a marching raged fashion. However, instead a quickened pace like a normal pissed off individual, she was limping rather slowly as her left foot was beginning to give out.

We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood,

We kill for honour!

We are the holy ones, our armour stained with blood,

We killed the dragon,

We're the chosen ones !

“DAMNIT! RATHIN’ WORK!” Yes, she was yelling at her foot as she continued to stroll to the side where her opponent was.

Well, that wasn't going to be good...

A marlin weighed in at about 280 Pounds. Metal Chef Japanese wouldn't be able to save his prized Dragon God Ramen with Roast Duck and Hot Sauce from an assault like that! Only one thing to do... He flared his nostrils, pretzels wiggling, as he hauled back on his right leg.

FISHSTICK PAUNCH!!

As the mega marlin came in for the kill, he let loose with his patented attack for just such an occasion, with every intention of turning the mighty fish into a heaping mound of sushi.

However, it was usually used on much...smaller fare.

Making a sound that only a 280 pound fish slamming into a more or less unprepared Metal Chef could make, Ryugi was sent tumbling backward end over end. The collision with the marlin caused the pot of delicious soup fly through the air and tip over, spilling its contents all over Ryugi.

It had the effect of removing quite a bit of the hot sauce from his head, and heavily diluting it. The problem was, however, that this caused the diluted and more liquid substance to drip down his face, across his cut, and down into his eyes. Hoo-boy did that sting.

Not only that, but the marlin's pointy nose had managed to cut one hell of a nasty gash across his left side. It certainly wasn't fatal, but it sure was bleeding, staining his white belt, and the liquid soup/sauce combination was lighting that on fire, so to speak.

Metal Chef Japanese pulled himself to his feet, eyes burning, side screaming, and cheek searing with the kind of pain only hot sauce can bring to sensitive wounds and areas. But his red eyes were burning in more than one way. The Violet Vigilante had just pulled a major no no...

She spilled his noodles.

And.

He.

Was.

Pissed.

It took alot more than a swordfish and alot of loud yelling to kill THIS dragon, chosen one or not. He couldn't really see to much ahead of himself before things got blurry from the tears. So, eyes and other such things burning, Metal Chef Japanese grabbed a chunk of Duck Meat out of his hair, looked straight at Izzy, and popped it in his mouth.

But she didn’t stop.

Oh no, her motions were rather quick for a cripple now as she began to pick up limping speed. It was a quick hobble, but she wasn’t at running force just yet. Probably for good reason seeing that her foot was pulsing in pain. But Izette figured it was due to the amount of RAEG she was feeling at the particular moment.

While she walked her hand grazed along the counter as it attempted to grab a hold of the variety of objects. Her fingers struggled to grab a hold of something as she walked, but finally it managed to grip some sort of handle. Glancing down at it, her rage filed face had transformed into a grin. However, it wasn’t the same smile that she had before which was light and loving, this was one that you knew something bad was going to happen because of her actions.

Since the male’s eyes were clearly blurred at the moment, the object that she grabbed in her hand was definitely a hard sight for him to see. But it was clear that she was armed yet again with another obscure cooking item.

Her hobbling now quickened to a much higher speed, and now she was practically running while limping. Her left drag seemed to have difficulties keeping up, but she her face didn’t show that the pain was taking effect.

She was too mad to feel it.

Once reaching about an arm’s width away, the woman turned her body to cause the object to try and slap across his face as she was aiming up and across. It was going to hurt a lot, for as she swung the object it opened to reveal a griddle that was still hot from the last object that it had cooked.

“WOULD YOU LIKE SOME RATHIN’ WAFFLES WITH THAT, JIMBO?” Yes, Izette had found a waffle maker. But not just any type of waffle maker…

It was….

The Goodbye Kitty Waffle Maker!

Ryugi was definitely going to be saying goodbye to this one for the force that she was swinging at.

[8/17]

41Ryugi Kazamaru

Big purple blurry object swung a big white, black, and pink blurry object right at the Metal Chef's face! To counter, Ryugi sent a punch straight towards the nasty purple blob. One problem though...

Depth Perception - Fail.

CRASH!!

The Metal Chef went reeling into the counter, slamming into the tile. His head rang like a gong. Or was it the kitchen staff signaling the fight getting on? Ryugi wasn't sure about much, what with no sense of smell to speak of, no real useful sight, and a pretty nasty headache from that last hit.

To make matters worse, now he had a Goodbye Kitty shaped red mark on the left side of his face. It would have been cute if it didn't HURT LIKE A b***h. Of course, Ryugi was gonna retaliate. Izzy was close. He couldn't really smell her or see very well, but he could hear where she was by the sound of her feet on the floor.

Ryugi shot up from the counter and leapt towards the purple blur. He knew from earlier observations that she was injured. So, rather than tackling her torso, he jumped in for a BEAR HUG. He wrapped his arms around her and SQUEEZED with as much force as he could muster, lifting her up off the ground. That might break some ribs. Then, he'd slam her down onto the ground, pinning her as best he could, trying his best to see through the blurring burning eyes of his.

The slam would hopefully disorient and stun her long enough for him to spin around on top of her, and grab a hold of her injured left foot, and pull it back and up as he sat on her stomach and chest to keep her down. Once he had it in his vice grip, he'd twist it with all the force he could muster, pushing home the injury.

It was the ALL AMERICAN GRAND SLAM.

[9/17]

42Cthulhu Wish

Ryugi wrapped his arms around her torso as though she were a rag doll of some sorts as though to provide a bit of a bear hug. However, she would not allow her arms to be caught within this mess for it was just awkward to receive a hug when holding onto on object. Now, naturally Izette loved giving and receiving hugs. But this boy wasn’t in her good graces, and she didn’t like giving hugs to people who weren’t in her good graces.

As he picked her up off the ground, Izette began to wrap the cord around his neck rather loosely. The pure smell of the hot sauce was beginning to cause her own eye to water. However, she carried on for she knew that for her move that she wasn’t required to see. Once finished, she grabbed onto the other end of the cord and held on as tightly as she could.

“Yippee Rathin’ Kai Yay.” As soon as pressure began to be added to her ribs, Izette began to pull each of the ends of the cords. This would cause Ryugi to have a great lack of oxygen. Izette continued to grin as she pulled on the cords for she was a cowboy, and he was her bull that she was trying to take down. As the feeling of her ribs began to crack she continued to pull harder in retaliation.

Despite his efforts to do things he had a bigger problem to worry about, for Izette was strangling him.

The two of them hit the ground with a loud crack. And that caused her to wince rather loudly over that. But reaching her foot would prove to be rather difficult, for the cord would prove to restrain him from moving.

For she was wasn’t going to let go.

[9/17]

43Ryugi Kazamaru

Well, that was mildly unpleasant.

Ryugi didn't know all that much about electric appliances except that you plugged them into the wall and turned them on. But he knew that their cords were way too strong to just snap by pulling on them. Izzy had pulled quite a smart move.

Once the pair slammed into the deck, Ryugi's plan of action quickly changed. He knew he'd be unable to get to her legs in his current situation, and so, he opted for something a little easier.

As they were both on the ground now, Ryugi didn't need to keep holding on to Izzy, especially since he was sitting on top of her to pin her down. She wasn't going anywhere. Her arms were busy dealing with the cord to keep him choking.

That understood, Ryugi's right arm shot to his neck where he jammed his fingers under the cord and pulled it away from his neck. Now, this wouldn't dislodge the cord completely, and he'd manage to bruise and cut his own neck from the force required, but his fingers and the pulling with his high strength would allow him enough breathing room...literally.

Sure, it wasn't perfect, the cord was still constricting, but at least he wasn't going to get choked out.

That more or less dealt with, his left hand shot down to Izzy's neck and clamped around her throat, cutting off her airway with a far more hands-on approach.

Two could play the choking game...

[10/17]

44Maximos

It was like biting into an apple.

His teeth popped through the teal rind and all at once a rush of juicy sweet irony flavor filled his mouth. He could feel the excess spill around his lips and dribble down his chin and neck. The world was scent of rusted metal. And Max reveled in it. Her flesh resisted as any raw flesh would and there was a sort of savage bliss in the conquest that was his teeth sinking in. His pupils almost immediately dilated, and as their black cores stretched they quivered like the thin membrane of a water balloon ready to pop.

Her breath caught and a hand found a tuft of his hair, like a centering point in the rush, a grip on the moment...was she struggling? He had to assist. His fingers dug at the small of her back and pulled inwards. His grip on her wrist tightened to a squeeze and locked. His teeth sunk deeper. He was obviously intent on making it worse...or better. Whatever the case may be. Either way her hand slipped away. He wanted to grin, but was happier with his teeth where they were.

Max heard it before he ever felt it. It was the shrieking sound of metal grinding fiercely against metal, and then a thud timed perfectly with a wet tear. Pain exploded from his arm like a geyser. It rushed and spread out across his shoulders, tensing his neck and dancing up and down his spine.

Her blade had stabbed clear through his right shoulder. The cursed metal bones were mostly unharmed, buy that did not to save the muscles, and meat of the arm. Nocere had successfully punched an slanted shaft through Maximos' shoulder, gridded against the bone, and as her shoulder met his the end of her blade had exited Max's arm just above his elbow. Black, was now spewing up from his jacket sleeve and staining the black cloth so that it shimmered, while black rolled off his elbow and spilled to the ground intertwining and puddling with her deep crimson vitae. Needless to say, his arm was very displeased and began to twitch and spasm violently.

V of XVII

He wanted to scream. But Max did not shout, for four simple reasons, which flashed across his mind like safety restraints, holding the agony at bay. First, it was rude to speak with your mouth full. Second, it is just was rude to chew with your mouth open. Third, one never spits up food at a dinner table. And fourth, to scream meant he had to let go, and she was far too tasty. Just because he was a monster did not mean he wasnt a gentleman. He simply refused. Instead, Nocere would feel a low and deep rumble bellow up from his chest and through his mouth across the wound and into the meaty bite. Whether a cry of pain or pleasure or both it was impossible to tell, but immediately following Max bit down ever harder. Like a injured soldier biting down on a chunk of wood or wad of cloth as the bullet was removed, Maximos chomped down with every bit of burning coursing through his arm.

With any luck, the mouthful o'alien was severed. Regardless, in one fierce motion, he jerked his head back, hard and fast would likely snap any threads of viscera that clung on. If Nocere looked up quickly she might see the freed and purple stained piece of herself vanish past the jagged line of his teeth.

Blood rolled freely down either side of his mouth and over his chin, staining his lips crimson like gory lipstick. Watery pink trickled from the hole in his cheek joining the waterfall painting his pale neck every shade from pink to rose to deep dark wine red. And Max was grinning. Though to be fair, with that new opening in the side of his face flashing his pearly whites, even with his mouth shut, Maximos simply could not be anything other than grinning, at least by half.

Hehehahaha...

He laughed, as he breathe seethed through his teeth. There was pain on his face, and also indescribable satisfaction. His laughter was punctuated by a wet smack. Max's arm was pouring out inky blackness in thick tar like globules. The substance had rolled down inside his sleeve and with a smack, the leather glove covering his right hand had slipped off and hit the ground. The arms convulsions having worked it free. Now Maximos' arm was doing what it shouldnt, what no normal arm would be due to the sheer masochistic pain of it all. Its fingers were limp, his hand barely standing, but his arm was bending upwards at the elbow. And as it lift, the pointed metal protruding out his elbow cut a line higher and higher up his arm, the tearing skin would send vibrations up the sheet of metal.

If she looked, Nocere might notice that while there was sticky black blood all over his right hand some of it seemed to be dripping from the hand itself. There was an odd cross shaped cut in his palm which she clearly had not made. And then the cut snapped open, and for a second there was a swirling orange vortex of an eye visible in Maximos' palm before the hand snapped up and grabbed her bicep and tricep area holding her bent elbow tight against his shoulder. If she hadnt moved she would be able to feel something warm and round rolling against her skin.

Then all at once Maximos jerked his body to the right, pivoting on his right foot. He bent right at the hips and both of his arms violently pulled to his right. One arm pulled her arm, the other shoved her by her hip.

That was the frustrating thing about these kitchen arenas. They couldnt even afford the fighters a good 10x10 space to move around there was always an oven, a stove, a cutting board, a table or something hard in the way.

Maximos' was performing a sort of improvised and slightly altered, and a tad more forceful hip throw. A key difference being he would step forward as he moved to throw, adding a bit more forward momentum and a tad more "throw" to the throw. And would, with any luck be sending one Miss Poema into an oven, a stove, a cutting board, a table, or something hard in the way of a safe, boring fall.

Your name...I never got your name my tasty new friend...

"KICK HIS ASSSS!!

Ryke shouted enthusiastically at her friend going toe to toe with comic-book-hero-guy - she'd been rooting for her the whole time, grinning like a mad-cat and watching the two go at it, amused and entertained, 'least - 'till the woman just snapped.

....

The bounty hunter twitched and made a face that indicated she was less than amused when Izzy started channeling the older, grumpier hunter, Ebris and spitting out all the usual words and ridiculous slang that he often threw around.

In the words of Katie: "Oh god why?"

The red-head shirked back into her own little seat and piped down, trying not to like, throw something at the shape-shifter every time she opened her mouth and out came Ebris-speak. It was scary s**t mayn! D: One Ebris was bad enough!

Oh hey what's she doing with that Goodbye Kitty Waffle-

SMACK

Ouch. She watched her bitchslap the man right across the face with the Waffle Iron and winced visibly. He was gonna feel that in the morning that's for sure. The man clearly had stamina, or at least was mad enough to keep going - things were getting interesting now and while she hated to break away, her attention was on the other member of the opposing team - the one guy who was wearing the funny clothes and introduced himself like some television host.

Guess she should probably get to looking for him and get started with her own fight soon.

Doo doo dooo...Ryke slid off her seat and looked around for the guy with the headphones.

46HonoRaven

Rave touched a hand to her head, sighing softly and shaking her head as she turned away from the fights with a sight smile. "Take care."

47Cthulhu Wish

The two of them were on the ground, both choking one another with their own demises. Izette had her lovely little black cord, where as Ryugi had his fist and was practically trying to squeeze the life out of her. That wouldn’t take much considering the size difference that the two of them had. But this was the choke game that the two of them had decided to engage themselves with.

And Izette LOVED games.

However, moving his finger in between to allow him breathing room was not something that she considered to be a fair rule to their game. After all, now he was able to breathe and she wasn’t!

How lame was that?

Here eyes scrambled a bit as she looked around on the floor to see was else she would be able to grab a hold of. Than her eyes caught notice of broken dishes and pots and pans that managed to fall to the ground from the two of them being thrown around and basically abusing one another. She looked back at him and smiled. Juggling the cord in her right hand to the cord in her left hand, she than reached over to try and grab a hold of something.

Her hand struggled to grab a hold of objects, but it wasn’t long till she managed to grab something. As soon as she felt an item in her hand she swung it to the side of his head in order to cause him to let go, or give him a concussion. She wasn’t really picky at this point in time, but it was aimed for the side of his head.

TWANG!

Izette looked over to her right hand to see what she did manage to grab.

Oh damn, it was a frying pan.

Well at least it would scramble his head up a little bit.

[10/17]

48Ryugi Kazamaru

It occurred to him that he probably could have prevented her from gaining a free hand if he'd just used his right hand to pin her arms down during the exchange at the cost of her choking him again, but that was in the past. At least now the cord was in one place...

But, Ryugi spied her free right hand grasping something, and as he saw it heading towards his head out of the corner of a blurred, burning, teary eye, he hunched down slightly, causing the pan to strike hard against his left arm as his head ducked beside it. That hurt, but the cord was still presenting the biggest problem.

Truth be told, Ryugi was getting tired of the electrical cord digging into his neck. He could breathe enough to keep from choking, but it was very unpleasant, and his position left him little to defend with. But when Izzy swapped the cord over to her left hand, Ryugi had an idea.

He took a deep breath and pulled his fingers out from under the cord, feeling his windpipe clamp shut again. At least now he had a free hand. That free hand shot to Izzy's left hand and wrist, clamping down on it from above and bending the wrist to the side. The human wrist was a very complex and fragile thing. Too much pressure would break or dislocate the many small bones that made it move, and render it useless.

With Ryugi's strength, Izzy's wrist would likely break from the force, giving her a very painful injury, and make it very difficult to continue to hold onto the cord at his neck. That done, he'd move his right arm down to where the cord was, and jerk back with as much force as he could muster, aiming to rip the cord out of her injured hand.

If that was successful, he'd immediately loosen the cord to give him his air supply back.

Regardless of the outcome of the cord battle, Ryugi's right arm would continue to choke Izzy.

Striker Offensive

Sometime in the middle of looking for the guy with the headphones, Ryke had gotten sidetracked with other various things around the kitchen and found herself tinkering around with some of the pans that decorated the stove tops and fooling around with random ingredients all the while touching buttons, knobs and dials, amusing herself while her friend fought and she waited for her turn, or to be needed...

Or until something set on fire!

A small little fire erupted in one of the pans she had left unattended - that was their second mistake. (First being that they should never have let her near the kitchen in the first place)

Some of the minor chefs and cooks scrambled and complained, one of which grumbled at her to grab a fire extinguisher and make herself useful. "Fine fine. Now where was that - Ah - 'ere we go." Ryke muttered to herself until she successfully found the extinguisher and grabbed the large red canister - examining and fiddling with it for a few moments before getting annoyed.

Of course, while she turned it over and around in her hands a couple of times with confusion plastered all over her face - the sounds of the scuffle behind her grabbed her immediate attention and the bounty hunter looked over her shoulder to see Izzy and comic-book-hero guy in a tight situation.

She looked back once at the relatively minor flames and then back to the fighters.

TO hell with the fire, she had a better use for this stupid thing -

  • bashing Ryugi in the back of the head of course! Which she did - taking the canister and swinging, looking to either crack him right in the back of the head right about where it meets the neck and the spine starts.

HOORAY for blunt force trauma!

Oh and to make matters worse, it just so happened to be a Hello Goodbye Kitty extinguisher.

What was with these guys and the Hello Kitty? Seriously? Creepy.

[Edited for minor clarification]

51Cthulhu Wish

Izette at that moment realized how screwed she was being at this moment considering that she had now her hand pinned and squeezed.

Crack.

Crack.

Crack.

Crack.

SNAP.

It was as though her left wrist was under the pressure of a clamp. And it broke just as easily as though it were a chicken bone of some sort. The simple snapping caused her left hand to release the cord as it would be absolutely impossible for her to hold onto it when she couldn't move her digits. As she could feel it break, the woman didn’t even bother to go for the frying pan at this point and dropped it to the ground.

She was going to need to get this guy off of her. And it was quite clear as her face began to contort into a variety of facial expressions, yet she did not scream. She held it in like a good woman. But her face began to contort to a variety of other facial expressions that some people did know were possible.

As he strangled her, she felt the bruising on where he was clamping down onto the woman decided to slowly move her right hand down towards her hip. There was enough room for her to slide through, but barely enough. It was fiddling with something down there, as though to make a movement to grab a hold of him. In fact, it would have probably have felt like so considering that his body was over top of her.

But it wasn’t long before she pulled it back out. She was actually rather surprised that she managed to grab a hold what she was reaching for.

Click.

Izette was ready.

[11/17]

((Specifying Izzy dropping the cord))

52Ryugi Kazamaru

Yank!!

The cord was pulled free of Izzy's hand, and immediately Ryugi unwound the cord and tossed the waffle maker away. Finally, he could breathe again. He exhaled his breath just as the pot in Izzy's right hand clamored to the ground. He blinked a hard blink, clearing his eyes. For the first time in a while, he could see clearly, much of the hot sauce and soup mix removed from his eyes.

Beep Beep Beep

Ryugi knew that sound, something was going on he knew he wouldn't like. The fast-approaching footsteps behind him told him that much. His right hand clamped down even harder on Izzy's throat to secure his grip even as his left hand shot towards the pan that had clamored to the ground at his right side, spying Izzy's hand inching towards SOMETHING at her right as it kept turning.

He turned his head and eyes in time to see Ryke swinging in with the fire extinguisher aimed for his neck. He ducked instinctively at the last minute, but it wasn't QUITE fast enough. The extinguisher missed its intended target area but clipped the back of his head, stars exploding into his vision for a moment as his head jolted sideways from the impact. But he held on tight to Izzy, and used his knees to stabilize himself.

Pain shot through his head, his eyes, which still burned but weren't as teary, and his side, which still bled and burned from the marlin and hot sauce, but the pain and stinging burn of the hot sauce kept him alert and focused. His eyes snapped back to Izzy's right hand inching towards something at her waist. He didn't know what she was reaching for, but he'd be damned if he let her get to it.

In another swift motion, he lifted and slammed the pan in his left hand down onto Izzy's right elbow, edge-first, hoping to do three things. First, he hoped that it would delay her reaching whatever she was trying to reach for at her waist. Second, he was hoping that it would injure or break her elbow. Third, he intended to keep pressure on the limb to pin it in place.

Ryke should be about finished recovering from her swing by now, but that only meant something else would be coming...

And Izzy couldn't have much more air left.

Well crap! Comic-book-hero guy was a quick one and something, likely her FIGHTER's annoyingly loud beeping, had alerted him to her presence behind him, and obviously he had to have known she was coming in for one reason and one reason alone: A striker.

CLANK

The canister still clipped him in the head fortunately, which was enough to elicit a grin from the bounty hunter as she finished her swing but instead of letting go of the thing, she let her swing follow through and bringing it back to her.

It was time to high-tail it out of there before she ran out of well - time~

'Course, she threw the extinguisher right back at Ryugi, hopefully catching him while he was busy with Izzy, right before casually making her way out of the more or less designated fighting arena.

Hey? Why not? This guy sure did it.

Ryke double checked her fighter to see her time, realizing how close she had cut it. Ah well, if she had ended up staying too long it would have been worth the card just to beat someone with a fire extinguisher. A pink one with a little cartoon cat on it no less.

End Striker

54Sins of an Angel

So now that Ryke was finished with her Striker, the orangey haired huntress scoped out the Kitchen her opponent, it was looking about time to get started and she was itching to have a go of her own while Izzy was out there having a grand old time with the other guy there.

She remembered seeing the long-haired competitor, headphones always on him somewhere, she didn't know his name but caught him in passing so it wasn't like this guy was difficult to spot in a crowd...a crowd in a kitchen no less.

Passing by the table-tops she plucked a breaded mozzarella square, whipped it across the top of the marinara sauce before popping it into her mouth.

Oh wait, she kind of remembered this dude's name now, he'd spoken it at the beginning of the match when he was doing all that dramatic introductory stuff. Started with an S - uhh - OH right - "Hey! Stephen! We gonna fight or what?" Unless Nocere suddenly decided she needed help, there was nothing she needed to do for her teammates and there was always Ash soo~

55Cthulhu Wish

By the time Ryugi had slammed the frying pan handle into her arm it had already began moving to another designated spot on his body. She was quick with the object she was using as though she had a great deal of training with the object. Fans in the crowd cheered, as they knew exactly what she was doing.

Izette had brought one of her babies out to play.

And what was more fitting than having Ebris Jr.come out to play?

Luckily for Ryugi the pan did make contact, which caused the blade to go off track. Originally she had been aiming for his right elbow, but since he did provide it to bash up and two the right. The knife had now sunk itself into it’s new home; the lower part of Ryugi’s armpit.

That was fine enough for her as she began to twist as much as she possibly could. This would cause some serious nerve damage, not as much as it would if she would have used her other knife Josie. But it would have been enough to cause him to loose his ability to use his hand that was gripping her neck.

After all, it was her last resort at this point as everything was beginning to spin.

"Hey! Stephen! We gonna fight or what?"

Metal Chef Italian did not need another word. With a flick of his jacket and an elegant twirl the man tossed aside his ludicrous mock chairman of Kitchen Stadium clothing - and revealed himself to be in an even MORE ludicrous chef's outfit, wearing a "Best of 2005" sash, a long green cape, and a large and shiny (albeit fake and made of plastic) golden gauntlet decorated with long white feathers (also fake, but not so much made of plastic as whatever the hell they use for fake feathers.)

He grabbed a red piece of fabric and tied it around his head, following up with a pair of sunglasses, and then the chef's hat that was sitting next to him earlier. He looked quite the part. He grabbed a large chef's knife from one table, and then a bowl of steaming ramen from another, and approached his challenger. He then flashed the cooking utensil it forward as if swearing an oath on the knife.

"I accept your challenge in this, the 2009 Pain Battle!"

Without warning, he then chucked the hot ramen, bowl and all, into his opponents face before turning and nonchalantly walking away from his opponent, and heading over to another table covered with numerous pot's and pans.

"Now, where did I put that wok?"

57Ryugi Kazamaru

Metal Chef Japanese dropped the pan as it had no effect in derailing Izzy's attempts. Then, he blinked. His PAIN sense was tingling.

Ryugi's hard head came to his rescue again as the extinguisher CLANGED off top of the back of his head. It hurt, but it didn't knock him out. In fact, the colision broke the skin, causing blood to drip down the back of his head, staining the white headband red, and the red headband redder. Ryugi's vision spun for a moment as he regained his composure.

Now, where was h-FRAGALLFNAGAB!!

He had a knife shanked into his left arm, into his upper tricep actually, just a few inches or so down his arm from his armpit. The force from the extinguisher knocked his body forward and down and caused the knife to dig in just before its intended mark in his armpit. Either way, Ryugi's left arm would have problems... That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all!

Ryugi didn't have time to think of something complex, or he'd lose his grip on Izzy's neck. Ryugi locked his elbow and leaned down, placing his body weight onto his left arm. His grip may have softened a little, but the added pressure of his body weight would allow him to maintain the choke long enough for his right hand to join his left for the final motion, continuing the choke.

The twisting knife hurt like hell, and red blood dripped vigourously from the wound. Metal Chef Japanese gritted his teeth in pain, his burning eyes being nothing compared to this. Ryugi could feel the blade grinding against his bone, muscle, and tendons in his left arm as the right arm assisted in holding the choke steady.

This was it, the final attack...

But would it pay off?

58Sins of an Angel

Ryke eyed the blonde who came out of wherever he was hiding to own up to the fairly casual challenge she proposed by simply asking when they planned to get started - and by eyed, the red-headed hunter was scratching her head in a strange sort of awe with the sudden wardrobe change pulled straight out of her little brother's comics or video games.

It was hard not to laugh, I mean, he looked ridiculous and her tilted head suggested the idea that she was questioning him, questioning whether or not he was seriously gonna fight like that.

Hey - to each their own right?

So the bounty hunter snorted and stood there with a half cracked grin and rested loosely folded arms over her chest while Stephen prepped for battle, grabbing - wait was that a bowl of ramen?

-WHOOSH-

The moment she saw the bowl fly, leaving her opponent's hand she knew where that thing was going and instinctually ducked down as quickly as humanly possible to at least avoid getting smacked in the face with the bowl and all its contents her arms moving just as fast to protect her face and yanked her goggles down in the process.

The bowl clipped the top of her head - spilling most of the hot broth and noodles over her before clattering noisily to the ground.

"AHCRAPHOTHOTHOT-ahhshit." She cursed and swore and grumbled, letting her arms down once the bowl had passed and did as much as she could to shake and brush off the hot soup

It wasn't scalding - or at least her jacket and bracers protected most of her, save for her head which was currently tingling in a most unpleasant fashion and her scalp was bound to be red for a while after getting burned by a frakkin bowl of soup of all things. Fortunately her opponent had wandered off and there was no threat of him attacking her with the knife while she was busy dealing with the flying ramen.

That's fine. Let him get distracted.

Ryke followed after him happy to see he was involved in a search for who knows what and spotted something. The 'tables' were more like counter tops in the shape of a very wide V and the stove-top was on the other "leg" of the V. Her eyes fell on a skillet with a delicious looking stir-fry simmering on a close by burner.

Stephen wasn't much taller than Ryke was (5'7" and 5'10"), no more than two or three inches separated them and he didn't look too buff to manhandle but still - the red-headed hunter used both hands, one to grab the man by the many collars, cape coat and whatever else he was wearing. The other hand, her right, grabbed a nice little fist worth of hair on the back of his head and she pushed - shoved even putting her weight into it, trying to force his head down and into the skillet.

"SORRY! No hard feelings!" She grinned ridiculously wide, as if amused by her own actions. What wasn't funny about it?

Due to the lack of oxygen that the girl had received, Izette passed out.

And that was that.

There was no fighting over it.

There was no struggling.

After all, how could you say no when you are being strangled and unable to gasp for air? And so she rested there on the ground, unconscious as the rest of the arena could only watch and wonder if she was going to get up.

But she remained flat on the ground.

Still as could be.

Slowly as her arm dropped down towards the ground, there was a small motion before she completely passed out there was something. A finger that was completely extended in his direction.

Her middle finger.

Yes, she managed to flip him off before she fell into the black abyss of her mind.

Izette was definitely a sore loser.

Allow me to quote from the infamous book "How to Fight a Longhair and Live" by author Ura Scrood:

Ura Scrood Wrote:

"Rule #1: If you spend all your focus on grabbing on grabbing the eponymous long hair of the long hair, you're going to get messed up."

And as a follow up, allow me to quote from the equally infamous book "Kitchen Combat 101" by Ike Utubich:

Ike Utubich Wrote:

"As a rule, you should never, and I repeat NEVER underestimate an opponent with a Chef's Knife."

Regrettably for Ryke, she had just broke both of those rules.

Stephen turned 180 to face his opponent, whom failed to realize that just because you grab hair at the roots and it HURTS LIKE A b*h YOU WHORE!!! that it is still entirely possible for you to turn around. The man's many collars ripped from the sudden stress, as he was fully and violently intent on hurtin' someone. Also, he was more than able to fight back and his head up as she struggled to slam him into the stir fry. Sure its gonna hurt. Sure you're gonna lose some hair in the process. But dammit, when someone goes for the long hair honor, you are required to kick the st out of them.

So he turned around, vice gripped her left shoulder with his left hand, and with the knife in his right, stabbed her repeatedly in the side, intent on leaving her with five nice new knife sized puncture wounds.

"Mama mia, ain't-a you a spicy meat-a-ball-a!"

His jovial attitude then changed to a dead serious one, his eyes on fire with rage. He held the weapon at her neck, parallel to her throat in case she decided to be stupid and attempt to knock it out of his hand (since she'd end up cutting her own neck) Of course, after being shanked five times, you're probably gonna be more focused on the pain and bloodloss.

And so Stephen spoke, voice filled with quiet, focused, bloodlust driven rage.

"Now let go before I run you through with that marlin, shove your head into the ice cream maker and make you into a fish sorbet with blood sauce."

If she released, he would shove her back slightly before stepping back and grabbing the wok he spoke of earlier. Without warning, he'd return to his previous smile.

"No hard feelings."

Which would be followed by Metal Chef Italian's approaching his opponent, wielding the wok in his left hand like a bludgeoning weapon. He would approach and come in with it to smack her upside the head, chef's knife at the ready in case it was needed.

61Ryugi Kazamaru

Well, that was that. Ryugi let go of Izzy as he felt her slip into unconsciouness. He pulled himself to his feet, and immediately felt a little light headed. He must have gotten up too fast...

Well, Izzy didn't seem to be going anywhere, so he started heading back to the sidelines when he felt lightheaded again and stumbled a bit. That wasn't right. And then it hit him.

His arm...

Izzy's blade had cut neatly into a major area of bloodflow, and that, coupled with the bleeding from his side, and his head had served to weaken him considerably. He'd forgotten about the bleeding. He had to stop the bleeding.

He unwound one of his soup-soaked hand wraps and quickly wrapped it around his arm to stop the bleeding, and tore it with his teeth, then wrapped up his side, the bandages turning red.

But, as his vision blurred and the room spun, he learned it was too late. He'd already lost too much blood. With a couple more stumbling steps, Ryugi finally succumbed to the bloodloss and fell, face first, onto the tile of the kitchen.

The beeding would stop, and he'd recover, but right here, right now, he was out.

Ryugi Kazamaru was down for the count...

62Sins of an Angel

I wouldn't say Ryke was entirely focused on grabbing his hair, in fact say she was really banking on being able to stir-fry his face but was sadly let down. She really had no idea how this kid could turn all the way around with her body, what with all of her weight, having been pushed up against him basically pinning him to the table and trying to force him to bend so to reach the pan - but damn he sure was determined now wasn't he?

Unfortunately for him though, very little room = very hard to turn around terribly fast - if at all considering she was right up against him and he against the table giving her the positional advantage here. So as soon as he started struggling and trying to keep his head up, what did Ryke do? She let go of his collar with her left hand, reached for and grabbed the skillet handle all before yanking right back on his hair - still holding it mind you cause he didn't have the room to whip around fast enough to pull it free. All resulting in Ryke shoving the hot pan of stir-fry right into Stephen's face.

"That's some mouth ya got there! Damn, you kids are startin' early these days. You almost make Ebris sound like a refined gentleman!"

Oh yeah. It was like that.

'Course, she wasn't exactly home free and managed to get some of the oil and or grease from the cooked meal on herself and it was certainly hot. More like OHSHIT hot, but nothing a hissing string of curses couldn't help her get through.

[2/17]

63Sutiiven

Yes, nice blood drenched knife caused by a psycho stab fest to the-OH MY GOD THATS HOT!!! STOP DROP AND ROLL!!! STOP DROP AND ROLL!!!

Stephen suddenly became wild as he was drenched in hot oil, his plastic gauntlet starting to melt slightly and his clothing significantly stained if not a little burned. By some weird reaction he flailed forward and bear hugged Ryke before toppling to the ground. The knife was still in his hand so would rest itself in the opponent's back as it came in with the rest of the arm.

As the two fell to the ground, Stephen would roll around back and forth as if he were trying to put out the fire that didn't actually exist about him. Meanwhile, the shorter Ryke would find her body right next to someone whom had been drenched in hot oil, someone drenched and still significantly covered with said oil.

The combination of knife, bear hug, rolling, and oil would presumably leave this particular "wommin" of team "wimminz" in an unhappy state.

Stephen, in the meantime, was enjoying himself. How often do you get to roll up next to a hot woman (figuratively and literally) for no good reason and get away with it?

[3/17]

64Sins of an Angel

Awwyeah!

The sound of the sizzle as Stephen took a very literal shower in Stir-fry and hot grease was enough to make her almost giddy with amusement. Gaia knows why found dumping hot food on people was hilarious but hey.

Only, she stopped grinning and thinking about how funny this was when he started flailing like a special ed kid only to turn and throw his arms around her before taking them both to the ground. Ryke had no idea what hit her when all 180lbs of Stephen latched onto her - still covered in hot oil mind you - something she was none too pleased about as told by her swearing. "AHH s**t GETTOFF!" That was before she felt the sudden sharp shooting PAIN at her back - "FFFF-" So that's where the knife was...she felt the blade scraping and poking against her back rather painfully as he still held fast to it even while his arms were wrapped around her, but she was lucky that it wasn't being used to stab her.

-BAM-

And to the ground they fell, her eyes just a bit wide, completely confused and...

What the-

was he seriously trying to do the stop-drop and roll?? As if he was on fire?! Clearly he had a couple screws loose upstairs and Ryke was really not pleased right now and she couldn't figure out if her opponent was completely clinically nuts or just putting on a show!

Rolling didn't help what with there being a pointy object behind her back and knicking her every time they moved but with him trapping her arms, there realllly wasn't a whole lot she could do - besides maybe oh I dunno, whack him in the head a couple of times as best she could with the pan, still in her hands after frying his face a little.

"HEY! QUIT ROLLING! You're not on fire!"

Ryke squirmed and lifted her knees, pulling her legs up between their bodies and used them as a wedge to shove him away, or at least pry the kid off, he was getting wayy too much enjoyment outta this and it was just kind of awkward!

CLANK

The pan fell to the floor as Maximos bit down harder. A slight spasm rocked Nocere's body and it took a lot for her to not just give in to the joyful shivers wanting to run through her right then. Yeah, she was a freak, but she at least she knew what she liked. Trying to keep her mind from what her opponent was doing to her teal flesh, and more importantly to keep herself from making him stop, she put her attention to pulling out the metal from his shoulder. Which had, oddly enough, went through not just his shoulder but his arm too. That must hurt like a b***h. Jealous

Synchronocity. Nocere pulled the slab of metal free, causing further injury to herself no doubt and maybe even her opponent, just as the cannibal ripped a piece of her skin free. Blood would be running even more freely than ever before and quite probably part of her clavicle bone could be seen. If she'd had any time to view the work, she'd compliment him and possibly even thank him. She was even more beautiful than before. Later she'd wonder how she'd be able to keep her skin from growing back and covering up the bloodied bone. For now though, her opponents laughter kept her attention.

"Hehehahaha..."

He looked to be enjoying himself. Covered in her blood and laughing. Wonderful. Her reverie was quickly broken as her opponent quickly changed his position and all too suddenly she was flying.

Nocere's body slammed back down upon one of the stove tops, her head whacking the top and her legs hanging over the side. Incidentally it happened to be the stove that she'd used to heat up the pan she had just a few second ago, dropped. The burner was still hot, perhaps she had forgotten to turn it off, or maybe she just hadn't turned it off all the way, but the skin began to burn and boil, just as Maxi's face had. Groaning, Nocere opened her eyes. Pain was nice but the teal alien hated headaches and after that nice headbutt and her head hitting the counter top, things were not looking up for her. She felt dizzy and a hard, distinct pounding began at right behind her eyes, but she flipped her body to the right moving herself off the burner.

Head spinning, throbbing annoyingly, she turned her eyes towards her opponent. Things had been going well up until this point. He was successful in giving her what she wanted, needed even- in that selfish masochistic way, but now he'd caused her one of the few things she hated most: a headache. Bringing her legs up onto the counter, her face began to contort into a vicious snarl and a a very animalistic growl escaped her.

Pushing herself up from the counter she went forward and jumped down from the counter to close the distance between the two dance partners. Maybe this time they'd try the tango.

[6/17]

66Sutiiven

Well, that was a fun roll about, but now was not the time for pleasure when business was to be had! After a slight bout of head trauma via frying pan, a slightly dazed Stephen forced himself to stop rolling whilst on top of her, then slid his arms out from underneath so that he could get to his feet. The knife blade would slit across her back as it was pulled out, leaving a nice long cut as a thank you present.

As he got to his feet, he glanced to his left, and saw -

FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISH!!!

Stephen threw the knife unceremoniously to the side, and lifted the fish up under his arm with a loud grunt (it only weighed about 100 lbs, those cheap bastards!) He faced Ryke, holding it like a personal battering ram/lance combo and charged her.

If she were on the ground still, she'd be finding herself run through by its large pointy bill, and she'd probably notice that she now had a fish checking out her continental shelf, cough cough. Otherwise Stephen would give chase, guiding the bill like a homing missile as he went in to harpoon her.

Success, fail, whatever. He could now honestly say that he had used a fish in combat.

FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISH!!!

[4/17]

67Sins of an Angel

Uugh.

They stopped rolling now thank whatever god was looking out for her very strong desire not to lose her lunch - and the spastic blonde finally decided he would make good on her demands to get the hell offa her.

It didn't help that he weighed like 20 pounds or so more than she did and groaned uncomfortably once he got off. She was gonna feel that in the morning for sure - already sore and trying to ignore the stinging at her back from getting used like a human cutting board.

-Scrriiish-

THAT HURT DAMNITT! Ryke cursed and shouted as she felt some MORE stinging pain as the stupid kitchen knife scraped across her back when he pulled his arm - with it - free, and oh was she not a happy camper anymore, swearing up a storm and trying to scramble to her feet with one hand to her back consciously.

Of course, as soon as she sat up and looked around for the crazy knife wielding blondie, the bounty hunter took immediate notice to the very large marlin and his very point looking snout heading straight for her.

WHAT THE HELL?! This kid was crazy. There would be no more saving grace, he was a complete spazz.

Her eyes widened considerably and she scrambled the rest of the way too her feet, not really interested in playing Who's your uncle with a swordfish - except that the driver of the Fish Express wasn't about to stop and had full intent on chasing her around the kitchen until he could catch her.

Trying to avoid getting harpooned by the sword-like snout, she took a nice little jog around the kitchen in order to put some distance between them, Ryke took very careful notice of her surroundings and as soon as she passed a table something sharp and shiny caught her eye like a bird or something.

-SCHWING-

The hunter had become the hunted now and she needed a way to fend Stephen off. She quickly slid them right off the table - took one up in each hand and skidded to a stop, adequately prepared now - she was:

Revy Two-Hands Ryke Dual Wielding meat cleavers.

Ryke turned quickly to avoid getting speared in the side and faced the incoming fish, the long, serrated nose scraping her from side to center before she swung her right cleaver down on the pointy snout to hack it off before it could do anymore damage.

OOF

'Course, pointy nose or not the thing still weighed a ton and, with Stephen's weight behind it, managed to nearly bowl her over by sending her stumbling backwards several steps trying to keep her balance which was pretty difficult considering the size of the fish.

[4/17]

68Maximos

And with a flourish, she was gone. Maximos felt proud of himself it had been a wonderful few dance steps, but deep inside something gnawed at him.

He had used that sharp steakbone, and she had used that sizzling pan, but there was more. They were standing in a place that existed to assist in the ruination and preparation of living things for consumption. Surely, Maximos felt, he owed it to the woman before him, and the arena itself to do something more. But this modern place was a mystery to him.

So as Nocere flew, Maximos spun on his heels making his way to the nearest kitchenette. There were several obviously, so that both Metal Chef competitors wouldnt have to fight for equipment. He went at the arrangement like a mad scientist speeding through his lab. In a rushed blur Max began flipping open cupboards and drawers, he paused for a moment as he found something square and white, which stood out solely because it was square and white against his black attire. And he palmed it in his left hand. Then he found a stove. He twist a set of nobs as far as they would go, and there was a series of ticks before a gout of flame burst from the stove top. Some meals require flame, not just heat. Max leaned back then, his eyes wide with surprise, but Max wasnt looking for anything so obvious, and so with a huff he blew the flame out.

Beside the stove, was a refrigerator. And now Maximos could smell flesh burning and boiling. The air was sweet with a scrumptious scent to match the flavor still swirling around in his mouth. There as motion out of the corner of his eye as he flung open the refrigerator door. His face made a sort of "Ah ha!" motion and he clumsily reached his right arm in and slid out then caught a bottle of...

Pinot Noir, 1875.

And with it in hand, spun to face Nocere. He had asked her, her name. They had yet to be properly introduced and while he hadnt a clue how to make a FIGHTER bracelet display his opponents name, he wouldnt have used it even if he did. A name on a screen is hardly quantifiable as an introduction. As Maximos met her eyes, and flipped the bottle of blood red wine in his hands, so that his hand was grasping the bottle proper and not the neck...Nocere introduced herself.

She gave him a face wonderfully twisted with something dark and hate filled. Something vicious and uncouth, yet absolutely perfect, and accompanied by a snarling growl like a beast waiting to pounce. It was more of an answer than any assortment of letters would ever give.

That's a lovely name. Its a pleasure to meet you.

She pushed herself up from the counter, Maximos bowed a small bow. Then rushed, and he rushed to meet her. He burst out of his kitchenette, as she burst from his. They would dance, yes, but first.

Such a memorable occasion...

And of course, he would swing the bottle rather haphazardly with his right hand. His left hand, was held in a loose fist, with is thumb working at something within his balled fingers. Something about her blade vicious ripping through the meat of his right arm and shoulder left it without any of normal dexterous fluidity. Instead of swinging the bottom like a bat, his black stained fingers swung it sort of a wide hook or like a bear swiping a claw.

VI of XVII

If the bottle and hand hit, needless to say it would shatter and spread red red wine everywhere, such as her face and chest and arms, and make open wounds scream back to life, but it would also spraying glassy bits which would likely dig into his hand rather savagely.

...we should drink to it!

69Sutiiven

Bah! She cut off his fish bill! And here he was hoping to make a Ryke-kabob. Oh well, it wasn't all for naught. He ended up knocking her back a ways so that was a bonus. He shifted his weight and dropped the fish from his left arm, leaving it to lie in his right hand. He backed up and shifted both of his hands to grip the small of the tail.

He then started to circle around in one spot as he leaned back to get the fish around and off the ground. He continued to spin around and around and around and around andOHMYGODI'MGONNAHURL!

After Stephen entered the Tornado Death Spin: Fish Edition, he started going like a top towards Ryke. The sheer momentum caused by the heavy fish would make stopping the spin a very painful experience (which of course was the point) so Ryke would have to think fast to avoid being "homerunned" by a de-billed marlin.

Yeah... he was a bit of a spaz sometimes.

But it coulda been worse.

He could still be rolling around bear hugging the woman!

...Wait, why was that a bad thing?

[5/17]

70Sins of an Angel

After stumbling back a bit Ryke finally managed to regain her sense of balance She might have given the dual cleavers a good spin just on principle but the chances of her hurting herself were a bit too large for comfort and Ryke promptly talked herself out of it however, especially since Stephen didn't advance and try taking advantage of the new distance between them.

What he was doing had her somewhat confused. In fact - she watched with honest curiosity as he shifted the large fish from one hand to another before grabbing it with both and hoisting it up up and up and -

Hey wait a sec what was he - Ohshit. He was spinning round and round heading straight for her - That would be not be pleasant and thinking quickly with an ingenious idea the bounty hunter rushed the Marlin-Go-Round as he made another complete revolution and placing his back to her.

It was time for a little choppy-choppy.

Vwoom

As soon as he started to swing back around, putting his extended arms right in her path since she was practically right up in his personal bubble, Ryke swung down with her right cleaver on his closest arm just hacking right into it. Maybe he wouldn't lose his arm entirely but that blade was still pretty damn sharp.

-OOF-

She was still in the path of the swinging marlin and the 100lb fish crashed right into her side, knocking her off to the side and to the ground leaving her down one cleaver (having gotten knocked out of her hand) very sore, somewhat winded and probably looking at some bruised ribs but hey she wasn't the one who was getting his arm almost hacked off.

[Edited after forgetting to state what happened to cleaver]

Stephen would have winced at the knife in the arm, but he was too busy feeling like a human top and the pain kinda mixed in with the wooziness of his being spun around by a giant fish. But as much "fun" as it was to get spun around, when he came to a stop there was a very satisfying -

SPWACK!

  • as he hit Ryke with the fish. He would have been proud of it too, but his stomach decided that it had quite enough of this, and forced him to stumble backwards. The knife went sprawling off as his left arm bled a fair bit, but he caught himself on one of the counters. He took a second to get the room to stop spinning before realizing that there weren't any really good weapons around him - the knives and the fish and the like were all in another part of the arena and he'd have to run his way around Ryke to get to th-

Wait, is that a...

Oh HELL yeah baby!

Ryke was about to face the wrath of...

BATTLE TOASTER!

Stephen pulled the chord out of the wall and drug the toaster off of the table. By a simple twisting motion, he wrapped the chord around his right hand then, he started to twirl it around like a large flail. His left hand lie limp next to him, as he didn't wanna overexert the injured arm unless he had to (he probably had his fair share of trashed nerves and muscles anyway) but his right arm was in full motion as Stephen swung the kitchen appliance.

He came in close to Ryke, and attempted to smack her upside the head with the large metal appliance that was spinning around at who the hell knows what speed. Even if he missed that target, as long as she got hit, it'd be a delicious dose of oh so toasty and delicious pain, with a side of bruised and bloody jam no doubt.

And what if she disarmed him or the Battle Toaster failed in it's violent duties duties? Well, the kitchen had plenty of other extremely dangerous implements about still, didn't it?

[6/17]

72Sins of an Angel

Man was she sore, but it was nothing compared to how she'd be feeling later after the fight was over, the pain always seemed to kick it into overdrive after the fact - which was both good and bad.

Ryke looked around and was satisfied to see Stephen had gotten too overwhelmed by all the spinning and had ended up stumbling away himself (thus ditching the fish obviously) and for a moment there she thought she was safe by scrambling to her feet - this having been the second time she was taken down -

Till he yanked a toaster right off the nearest table and worked it into a swinging action aiming to crack her right upside the head kinda like one of those old medieval weapons - except that it was a toaster and not nearly as deadly when you get hit by it, hell, they weighed on average somewhere around 5-6 pounds. That was practically nothing in the way of her newest brilliant plan. You see, there was a table right there off to the side and somewhat behind him and in order to even get past him that meant getting hit -

A small setback in order to do what she wanted to do.

Ryke stood aback from the swinging Battle Toaster trying not to get smacked in the face until she saw a good enough opening, ducked under the swing somewhat and dashed across, the toaster successfully clipping the top of her head (or about high forehead level) with an interesting sound, scraping and breaking a bit of the skin near the hairline threatening to bleed but she'd been smart to wear her goggles from the beginning of the fight. Fortunately, it was probably enough to knock the toaster off course and totally screw up the spinning. Which, had been part of the plan.

Slightly dazed, and with a very large headache growing worse by the minute, Ryke made it to the table and claimed her prize:

A piping hot pan of Lasagna of course

Quickly she slipped the remaining cleaver in between her belt and cargos before grabbing the very hot, steaming food dish, pot holders conveniently laying beside the pan, and turned back to face Stephen with said pan of Lasagna. The bounty hunter put on her most sincere, expression of surprise and glanced down at the ground, pointing as best as she could with the rather large pan of food in her hands; "OH s**t! What's that?"

Clearly she meant for Stephen to play along like the dim bulb he seemed and actually look down. Honestly, all she wanted was for him to drop the toaster - and if he took the bait, well, he would earn himself a face full of burning hot meat and whatever else made up Lasagna.

YUMMY!

"HOPE YOU'RE HUNGRY!"

Nom nom nom!

[6/17]

73Sutiiven

The toaster clipped its target rather nicely, and yeah it would throw the spin off for a moment. But that was okay, nothing that a couple seconds of start up couldn't get going. As she picked up the lasagna. My, that looked nummy! But you know what else was nummy? Toast. And since he was quite comfortable with the toaster, getting it all nice and spinny, he didn't feel like he wanted to drop it as it swirled around on his right side like an unwound yo-yo.

Sins of an Angel Wrote:

"OH s**t! What's that?"

Without much of a warning, he brought his right leg up and kicked the edge of the pan closest to him, making sure that he sent the pan of hot gooey cheese and sauce into it's owner instead of him. He would follow up with the toaster, stepping in and timing the swing so that it came down to clock Ryke square over the head.

He would then back up a second to get the spin back to speed. His face glowed with a knowing smile unlike what he'd shown during the rest of the fight. It was not the face of one who was a "dim bulb" or "a complete spaz" but of a thoughtful, competent fighter whom was completely focused and engrossed in the fight. More specifically, it was the look that clearly stated that Ryke had underestimated her opponent, and as such, got to watch her plan backfire on her.

"That, my dear, is lasagna."

[7/17]

74Sins of an Angel

Instead of a response or the desired actions of him looking down like Ryke had oh so hoped, he did a bad bad thing. Or was it actually a good thing?

-CLANK

SPLAT-

The answer to it came with a very large, s**t eating grin as the bounty hunter - who mind you was wearing at least two layers of clothing - charged right through the pan of meat cheese and pasta as it was kicked up at her, left hand immediately reaching across her body to draw the holstered leaver as she burst straight at Stephen, his toaster flail missing her by a hair.

The lasagna was hot, oh hell yes, she could feel that pretty well but she was fortunate enough that the green bomber she wore over the rest of her clothes was thick enough to protect her skin from scalding, coupled with knocking the pan of food away as she charged.

Ryke closed the distance between them and swung with a chopping hack at the shoulder (his right) of the toaster swinging, former knife wielding conductor of the Marlin Fish Express. Her right hand in the mean time hovered at her belt, ready to grab any of her gear or something off of a table if she so needed it.

"Didn't your parents ever teach you that it's not nice to waste food!"

Okay that was horribly corny but it was totally called for! Cut a girl a break here.

Stephen's weapon missed, but it would at least whack into her back for some damage. He got another knife to the opposite shoulder, rendering that second arm in unpleasant condition. The man's arm remained in its current location the toaster dangling on the woman's back.

Two arms down, but the man was far from out. Stephen charged in hard trying to ignore the pain in the arm. His mouth opened wide and came in close to Ryke and -

CHOMP!

  • nose bite vice grip!

This would be followed up by repeatedly ramming his left knee into her groin and stomach - sure, Ryke didn't have the same kind of weakness that men had in that area, but a full powered blow in that area will still hurt like a b***h.

It was quite a sight, a man kneeing a woman whilst biting her nose violently. Stephen's 'bout of normalcy had all but passed, and he was shifting into a combination of his spazzy and his psycho states.

...If it weren't a little disturbing, it woulda been kinda kinky.

The toaster crashed into her back but she managed to chop him right in the shoulder and render yet another limb practically useless, she was still grinning like a fool though and it seemed as though their fight had just gotten a wee bit more serious.

They'd just stepped it up a notch!

Her instinctual reaction after hacking at his shoulder and seeing him step in towards her all too quickly was to pull away just as fast and yank the shock maul free from her belt with that hovering right hand - she had no idea what the hell he was gonna do and it was most certainly the smart choice after she saw him open his mouth when he lunged at her and shoved his knee into her stomach, winding her some but helping in her attempts to get away much to his misfortune. There was no point in complaining about that right now though and thrust her right hand with the shock maul - after jacking the shock setting up to medium mind you - right at Stephens exposed gut and pushing the little button to make it extend.

"HEY! NO! BAD! No biting!" She scolded him like a bad dog, but instead of whacking him on the head with a newspaper he was getting a freaking shock maul to the chest.

The purpose for this maneuver? What purpose? If you were in his shoes, had two injured arms and were being jolted by a fairly attractive and somewhat badass female, what would you do??

That's right - fall on top of her!

He was never gonna live this fight down, but dammit, if there were wimminz to be had, by god he'd be having them!
