Stage0: Preliminaries

The Things Fox Hates Dojo

I think they may do Taekwondo here, and hey, is that a picture of John Cena?

A fighting arena of classical proportion, though those proportions don't have to be exactly defined. As long as the dojo has four walls, a roof and a floor, we're good with whatever size you decide on. The decor of course is just what you'd picture from an old kung-fu movie.

Terrain

General - Regular indoor floor, as interrupted occasionally by a mat for padding.

Weapons - One picture of John Cena.

Bonus Effects - Across the street one can occasionally hear mariachi music from the all night restaurant.

A pale-skinned humanoid strode lightly around the dojo. His left hand rested upon the hilt of his sheathed sword as he walked about, observing his surroundings intently. He heard music from across the street, which intrigued him with its foreignness. Drake was expecting someone here, and wondered to himself where they may be.

What a bright and peaceful day it seemed to be. But that seemed not to last, as a loud rev of a bike engine could be heard roaring towards it's location, the dojo.

The bike sped fast and undisturbed across the ground, covering the ground in no time at all.

Screechhhhhhhh

Selina had pulled on the brakes while turning the bike, bringing it's back wheel to slightly glide across the floor and come to a swift stop as she held on and put her feet down once the bike had settled, she would put the stand down at the ready.

"Yeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaa......."

Lifting her left leg over the bike she stood firm lifting her hands she would remove the helmet from her head, revealing her raven black short hair that caught the rays of sunshine immediately. Putting the helmet down upon the bike she straightened out her hair for a moment then headed inside the dojo to greet her opponent, her every step seemed to be graceful and held a smoothness to it. Her hips would sway slightly from side to side as her arms moved slightly down by her sides, on entering she would bow her head slightly then take her position on the other side of the dojo facing the man.

Her piercing ice blue eyes glanced over him as she stood preparing herself, dressed in a skin tight catsuit with some of her clevage on show.

"You must be my opponent...

I'm Selina........"

A slight grin appeared upon her silky lips as she glanced at the man.

Drake's ears received the sound of the incoming cyclist with a slight twitch, and he turned to the door, drawing his sword with his right hand. He returned the greetings with a slight grin, displaying his bleached white fangs. He stepped back with a fluid grace, assuming a dueling stance, sword out in front of him, arm straight, point towards the target.

Have at ye, then.

He began to slide forward in a subtle arc to his right. Drake moved with such practiced motion it would appear as though he floated upon air over the ground, unhindered by friction. His pupil-less white glare, while not obviously so, stood fixated upon his opponent.

Raising a thin brow as she saw his greeting just made her grin turn to a smirk.

"Careful now, that's dangerous. You could have some one's eye out with a point like that hun.."

While she spoke she had raised her hands moving the left quickly towards her right wrist, with a quick smooth grab and flick of the wrist she threw 'Pride' one of her throwing daggers at the man, aimed at his left inner thigh.

Dance with me baby

She would start to slide step in an arc to her left while pulling out 'Avenger of Heavenly Ruin', her beautifully crafted katana blade. Having the point towards him, her icy stare would stay focused as more and more energy built up and flowed within her.

Drake's gaze locked onto the incoming dagger quickly, and reacted with practiced precision and speed. He twisted his wrist abruptly, and swung the sword in a downward arc, meeting the throwing knife with his blade at approximately its hilt, deflecting it downward, where it clattered noisily on the wooden floor.

Come now, you need use more than throwing knives against a trained duelist.

With a light chuckle, he continued advancing in his light, gliding step, twisting his hand back to its original position. He eyed the Katana, and silently appraised its beautiful craftsmanship. He hoped its fine craftsmanship matched its precision. As he approached, he turned his wrist ever so slightly, so that the outer edge of his sword's blade pointed to his right.

Watching the mans every move carefully while staying focused and letting energy build up within her, Selina on hearing his words she would smirk some and continue to move holding her katana blade in her right hand.

"Jus alittle tester sugar, what you shy or something?"

She too turned her wrist just slightly, so the outer edge pointed to her right at the ready.

Lets get this started cutie

Her every move was smooth and fluid like, flowing freely with ease and grace...

Drake chuckled a bit to himself, and began to advance with increased speed. He eyed the use of her katana with great amusement. Wielding a two-handed sword with one hand...an unwise decision only an amateur swordsman could make, unless his adversary had incredibly strong wrists. At a range of about 7 feet away, Drake abruptly slid a few feet left, and, with a quick motion, twisted his wrist as he brought his arm down some. He brought the sword down in an arc, into a right-to left diagonal swing, aimed for the right thigh. He arm remained rigid in this, only having pivoted by the shoulder.

As she moved a green mist could be seen building around her hands and her feet, she would be at the ready so as he moved in for his strike Selina would glide a few feet left too making sure to face him, letting her blade swing down freely as a block as she closed the distance between them.

Silly boy

He had started the attack at the right side to which her blade was already on that side, making a block fast and simple and then leaving him open for an attack. Her blade would come down to catch his blade as it headed towards her thigh.

At the same time she would use this to get in close on his right and throw a left hook aimed at his exposed right side, twisting her hips slightly to give abit more power just at the bottom of his rib cage using 'Alittle Pick Me Up' for that extra bit of power.

Her moves would be swift and fluid all the way through, Selinas blade would be ready as would she as she smirked some making sure she was at the ready.

Drake let out a short, amused chuckle yet another time. He allowed her heavy blade to fall right down upon his, adding to its momentum, driving it even harder into his target location. The blade would drive deep into the top of her thigh, likely doing heavy damage to her muscles, as a result crippling her movement a great deal. To cover for his exposed right side, he would pull his blade away sharply turn the sword in his hand so that the blade faced upward, and swing it to the right and up, aiming to slice across the bottom of her arm, and turning his right shoulder away from her in doing so.

Selinas blade would block as planned and her left hook would be sent slamming into his right exposed side with the added power of 'Alittle Pick Me Up'.

Ouch, now that gotta hurt

With the force she had used more than likely his rib had just been broken, unless his rib was made of metal.

Now that would of distracted him and before giving him any chance to recover her blade had done it's job, so she would swiftly drop it and being in close would send a flying right hook aimed at his jaw on the left, using 'Alittle pick me up' once more, adding insult to injury.

Selina would slide left successfully, moving... directly into the attack. Drake would successfully make her strike as she brought herself even closer, making it even easier to execute. Not only that, but as she swung her sword down on top of Drake's, hers would not only bounce off, but the area of contact would now be now dulled, even chipped, as the blade of a katana is extremely sharp, and thus would dull easily when the sharp edge is used to block. As her sword would bounce upward from Drake's, his sword would be propelled downward, directly into the thigh she had moved directly into his attack. His attack successful, he would be allowed to then pull his right side away due to no motion being made to stop him, along with the sword, and complete his right-to-left, upward-diagonal slash across her forearm, as apparently she'd made no move to avoid such a maneuver either.
