So he says…
”So you think you’re strong, f*****t?!?”
I think I hurt his feelings. But that’s ok, a good lock on the ankle always fixes whining. Now when this stasis kicks in I’ll…
”Hey, is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?“
It wasn’t just him. The kid managed to activate one of his special abilities, and all Lucid could do when baring witness to this was…
Oh……
…My…
……God!
Truly, he was amazed. As the kid’s body began to heat, Lucid realized his stasis was as quickly evaporated as it was activated. Little did the kid know, that’s usually a bad thing.
Game pause for a brief moment. So diary, a quick science lesson if you will. Usually when the body is rapidly cooled, and then immediately heated, it feels like someone is crushing your muscles and ripping your skin off at the same time. The feeling’s ridiculously controversial, right. Picture this, being frozen to death and boiled at the same time. Not fun. It’s supposed to be a gradual experience, ya know. That way it hurts less as the body is eased into it. Think of playing in the snow, then running immediately into a heated home. Fingertips, nose, and ear hurts like crap. And now, back to our gaming a**-kicking experience.
So, back to reality. The kid’s just super heated himself. And all I can picture in my mind as my statis has been rendered completely obsolete is...

”Holy Cosmos, Batman! It’s Goku!”
So I have his left leg at the shin. Stasis is nulled, and I originally planned to pull this guy off his balance and into a standing leg lock. And the mere fact he’s activated his Aggressor-Pressor-Whatchaconfessor leads me to think just one thing.
We’ve seen this in wrestling shows. Some bozo attempts to front kick the other clownshoe, as the kid did with me. The clownshoe, being me, catches the kick. The bozo, being him, attempts to free himself from said kick with a leaping kick that sends his body into a corkscrew. HeH, I should thank you kid. Those moves on tv are coordinated, you know. They practice and plan this kind of stuff, completely unlike real life, where your best bet is the element of surprise.
And I HATE HEAT! HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!
But I do love it right now. It was like spider senses tingling. I wonder if Spiderman actually heats up like this when he senses danger. Eww, I take that back… being all hot and bothered like that. Eww.
Ok, focus. He’s coming.
Fact: Lucid was already in motion to begin the ankle twisting. This was executed at the same time he applied stasis. Nothing he could do about it now. But it was a help, since the kid would have to redirect his balance to get an accurate leap off his stable leg for the kick. Lucid baited him without the kid, and even Lucid, realizing how useful it was.
Oh God, sharp pain on way from that cut wound in my left ab. I’m so lucky it’s not so deep that it hit vital organs. God what I would do for Wolverine’s healing factor…
Lucid knew that even preparing to make an evasion attempt would be enough to send a sharp pain through his body. Pain worked in a funny manner. Blunt trauma causes disorientation as it rattles the brain and loosens the muscles. All one needs is a good clean shot and Bam! Instant numbing, relaxation, and then your strength is all sapped out. But sharp pain was different. It targeted the nerves, and nerves hate to be tickled. Burns and cuts make muscles tighten. So, Lucid gripped with his left hand as tightly as possible. Then, the kid would explode. He leaped, and Lucid’s right hand slid from the under-grip of the kid’s knee to his upper foot. His grip tightened, eyes following the kid’s movements. He knew the boot was coming.
Duck down, lean left…
Lucid thought he was home free. He ducked, leaned left, the boot flew upwards.
Chukt!
”Gaaaaawww Mother Aunt Jemima’s Pancake Syrup Gone Bad What the hell was that!?!”
His eyes shifted to the right. Lucid felt his left shoulder collide softly with the side of the truck. Anticipated. There were 2 whuds from the truck’s metal plating. One from Lucid. One from the kid. The boot missed his face, rather, his entire head, by an inch. Lucid’s dreads flopped backwards from the extension of the kids foot. He missed his mark with the kick, blunt trauma evaded. Lucid’s hat even flopped to the ground as the kid’s boot had knocked it squarely off. Such a close call. But there was an absurdly sharp pain within his right oblique, something similar to the sharp pain in his left. Then he felt a cold draft. His blood was exposed. It began to freeze within the open air. And then it hit him. The kid must have thrown another knife while in rotational spin. It hit its mark, sort of. Slicing through his skin, the knife made a similar, deep cut in his right oblique, just as deep as the left. But it passed through, unable to actually hit enough bulk to do any serious damage. Lucid’s left lean saved him from that, unknowingly. But with that sharp pain, came an even tighter grip, and now the kid was turning himself from his high-risk maneuver where he’d land belly side down, back side up, and Lucid would capitalize.
”Ok, I’ll give you this much, kid…
Lucid slid his left foot forward. He didn’t let go of the kid’s ankle. But the kid wouldn’t know that, not yet anyway. That’s because, at this point, the kid was busy attempting to jerk his left leg away after his maneuver, which was where Lucid stabilized himself. He’d be in a perfect ankle lock, within a great position, where the kid would primarily be defenseless. All of his focus now, was on something else…
I ain’t exactly sure what this kid’s heating ability does for him. Perhaps amplifies his strength. Maybe somehow gives him cat-woman reflexes. HeH, I wonder if he’ll transform and his hair go blonde or something… But, in this position I should have cut off about 80% of his strength. His upper body, I assume, shouldn’t be able to do much no matter how much his strength has grown, since he has no leg power now to balance his legs. Position myself here…
Lucid would reside along the kid’s left side, where his right foot and hand would be out of reach.
And the kid can’t reach me with any part of his body. And all that’s left is to…
He’d bite the pain. In fact, lucid resisted the pain so much, he punctured his bottom lip, biting it intensely to endure the pressure he not only put on himself, but more so on the kid. With all of his weight, the kid would feel nearly 201lbs of Lucid pressurizing his left leg. His upper torso would support the twisting motion Lucid placed on the kid’s left ankle. His left hand twisted at the heel, his right along the bottom sole of the kid’s boots. Lucid would rotate the kid’s foot counter clockwise, a direction which would ensure a quick submission whether the kid tapped out, or had his ankle broken. Only time would tell now. But that didn’t mean Lucid wouldn’t piss the kid off in the process.
”’Aggressor-activate’ huh? Kid, you should have called that move KAAAAAAAIIIIOOOOOO KEEEEEEEN! I swear, you looked like Goku for a second there. Hey! That’s a great name. I’ll call you Goku from now on. Maybe you can fondle you some Dragon Balls, and wish yourself out of this situation. Or at least wish yourself a new ankle. Oooh Ooooh I got it! Wish yourself some less televised fighting skills. That wrestling stuff is fake you know… only really works on tv. Come on, you hardly see people being powerbombed in a real fight these days. Even that UFC crap has certain rules they follow. This is no holds bar, baby! Kameha-meha waves won’t do you no good if you’re not using them properly.”
