Stage9: Brown Estate

Wine Cellar

More all purpose than just for wine, but hey, whatevers easiest to explain. Here, let me show this great 1996... Or we could just go with the efficiency section. Up to you.

The cellar is filled with wine racks, some built into the walls, others free standing in the middle of the room. The rarest items seem to have been removed, but there is quite a selection of wine and liquors available. One rack is filled with unlabelled bottles of various sizes with the words "assorted moonshines" written on the rack. There is also one rack that contains four casks of wine. Stairs lead up to the interior, and there is what appears to be a fireman's pole in the centre of the room. The lights are turned down to prevent damage to the collection

Terrain

General - Solid ground, low light conditions, enclosed area attached to the interior.

Weapons - Bottles, bottles full of stinging liquid. Only one rack is truly flammable though.

Bonus Effects - Ring out rules have been suspended, free travel is allowed between the four brown estate threads. However, if you do not link your exit and entrance posts together (that is a link in each), you will be red carded.

White cards will be let free for intentional interference with other fights.

Griff wandered in quietly, just leaning against a wall.

Why make an intro? Hell. He made two decent intros in this tourny, and both times he got shot down by the judges.

******** it.

He walked in, grabbed a cheap bottle and sorta looked over it.

]=[

3Fierach

Glamorous leader was still in the God Caliber hotel room, lying on the sofa.

He seemed to be sleeping.

He was late.

4I Am Doctor Insano

]=[

Two or three drinks down, but Griff was still doing good. He looked around, his mask tucked up and over his nose. "Where the hell are those losers?" He muttered, taking another shot's worth off the bottle. 1999. The label must have gotten wet, though, cause the name was gone. Fruity, but thick.

Phone on the belt. Beep boop beep. Four way text.

Code: Where the ******** are you losers?! Get over to the Brown Estate ASAP.

Your Captain, Out.

5SilentMist

This was certainly interesting.. a fight, and the entire Estate was the arena. What's more, his selected starting ground was about the most utilitarian; though perhaps the interior would have suited him better.

Samuel Visconti de Medici, bio-mechanics expert and self-proclaimed Doctor of Vice and Virtue, stopped at the base of the stairs and idly admired the selection of basic liquors. It was obvious the quality beverages had been removed and this made the good Doctor slightly disappointed. Despite his stiff appearance, he was not above indulgence after all.

Sleek black boots, finely pressed brown Denims, a tight-fit white muscle shirt showing off a well toned body, an immaculate white labcoat unbuttoned and waving casually from unspent momentum, smoothly shaven face, slick, shinning brown hair, and a pair of sharp emerald eyes. The Doctor was an anomaly that stood in stark contrast to what anyone would consider a "man of science". In fact, were it not for the labcoat, he could easily pass as a particularly well-off bodybuilder... or some affluent, if not slightly odd, politician.

So there he would stand, hands in pockets, as he observed the one present player. His eyes on both the indulgent fighter and the stairwell.

Cheap... pssh. There would be nothing of interest here.

6Tei Kae

"Wow...really putting on the ritz, aren't you, JB?" Song chuckled as she walked into the wine cellar and looked around. It was such a shame it was probably going to get trashed. Maybe she'd send him a bottle from that nice crate of LWK she'd gotten for her birthday this past year. With that kind of price tag, it'd pay for it at least slightly.

Rubbing her right shoulder, she leaned back against one wall and waited for the rest of her team. She had been really out of it after the last round, not realizing that their opponents would be who they are. Hadn't she even said something to the affect of that it wouldn't matter? Looks like she was eating those words now.

But whatever the case, she'd wait, tugging impatiently on the edge of her gloves to cover up her hands once more. Just a bit of a sore spot with her. She glanced at Griff, and gave a small wave and settled in. Hopefully, Vivi and Kain would arrive soon, and the party could really start.

7I Am Doctor Insano

]=[

Griff looked into the glass of the bottle as The Doctor walked in, and he would just turn it up real quick, drinking deep. Song would follow shortly, offering a polite wave. Morivan, in his infinite inability-to-deny-polite-social-gestures-especially-while-drinkingtitude, would waggle the stump of his right arm.

A long, deep sigh.

"Now." He said calmly, the maroon of the wine staining his lips. "I'm not interested in waiting around all day for these boys of ours to show. So... who's up?" He said straight, brandishing the now empty long neck. "Cause I'm ready."

His thumb hooked his mask, and he just smiled as he tucked it down into his neck.

]=[

8Tei Kae

Well, starting before everyone had arrived hadn't worked well last time, but this was a timed game so to speak. So why not.

She glanced at the Doctor, then back to Griff.

"Doctor? Mister Morivan? If you want to have the first round, be my guest."

9Nightsnow

Fortunately, the swordsman uses his FIGHTER codec to get a basic idea on where they are supposed to be fighting here. Being the second from his team to arrive to the wine cellar...

...

It only brought up bad memories, since the swordsman's alcohol tolerance could be mentioned as...

Horrible. Downright, ridiculously horrible beyond proportions. But - if he doesn't get any in his mouth or ingest any large gulps, the swordsman should be fine.

Should be, being more of the emphasis here.

And having brought in his own supply of fresh water - ergo, another moment of a drenched cloak and some heavy showering in the Hotel some hours back before his FIGHTER notified him of where the new location is...

He waltzed around a few steps close to where Griff, his teammate is, raising his head to check the height of the ceiling.

Then at the racks around them, checking the room for how far he has for distance and range.

Finally, the swordsman concentrated at the general 'feel' of this area...

...

There was a cold breeze blowing from somewhere, providing this place with a mild bit of humidity and extra cold for some...external methods of use, if need be.

"Hm..."

He eyed Griff, chugging down at some wine.

Then at the girl who he vaguely remembered from the FEAST OF NO TOMORROW a few days back, which Griff seems to have an interest for.

From the swordsman's innocent perspective, after all.

10I Am Doctor Insano

]=[

Griff nodded as he grabbed the bottle and placed it in his teeth before reaching behind him to snatch another bottle, going into the lofty process of one handed juggling the two bottles.

"Ya see. I say boys... Because with the Browns out of the house? I'm the only man in the building..." He muttered, more to himself than anyone else before looking at the opponent, the dude. "Alright, Docta Cox. Got the balls?"

[0/17]

[THE CHALLENGE!?]

]=[

11SilentMist

The good Doctor cracked his neck before stepping forward off the stairwell.

"Well, I suppose a bit of haste can't hurt too much. Mr. Morivan, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I trust we can meet expectations." he said with a nod.

It was go time, and what was the point in wasting more time? Covering the distance between them without expecting the man to chuck his growing assortment of bottles was very unrealistic, so with that in mind the Doctor's gloved left hand moved behind his coat at his side as the material of the glove began to shimmer and move. Not even one step would bring him within range of his own bottle of red wine, to which he would humbly, and most important, preemptively throw at Griff's face as his pace picked up to cover the gap.

[01/17]

12I Am Doctor Insano

]=[

The moment Dr. Cox started talking, Griff would roll the empty bottle forward off of his wrist instead of tossing it forward. It'd clash into the ceiling when he began to run forward, and it would rain upon the enemy.

His attack was simple really. when the doctor threw the bottle at Griff, Morivan would snatch the full bottle out of the air, swing across his eye-level to clash against the bottle. The glass exploded, wine splattering into Morivan's own face as he promptly chucked the now shattered bottle back at the Doctor before thrusting himself off to the side.

[1/17]

[Griff breaks the empty bottle to shower down on the enemy, he then blocks the tossed bottle with his own, full bottle, which he then throws before rolling to the left]

13Fierach

"Auhhha"

Loud yawn. James entered the cellar, nearly clipping his head on a wooden bar.

Only now did he take off his sunglasses, and gazed over the people already present.

Nirvana. Nirvana. Griff. Snow. His eyes lingered for a moment on the good Doctor. Practically everybody might've been able to feel the intense feeling of KILL that emanated from his form for just a moment before he controlled himself.

"Not the time, not the place", James reminded himself softly, and slipped his glasses into his dark jacket. Griff'll take care of the man. The young Captain gave Song a customary two-fingered salute as way of saying hi, and then promptly took a spot near Snow, and watched his friend fight. He knew who he wanted to tear apart though, and that man wasn't here yet.

After all, James always prefered dates with a devil.

14SilentMist

It was a liquor fight; oh joy. It was just too bad that he had to throw the empty bottle. Griff was already half-way to neverland and the poor Doctor hadn't even had a taste.

His bottle defense would be slightly less effective against falling glass, but it would do the trick. As the bottle hit the ceiling and chunky shards began to rain, the doctor's left hand came out from his side and above his face, suddenly sporting a small, thin kite shield roughly 2x1ft. The glass that didn't bounce off the shield would pitter harmlessly against coat and pants.

Then came bottle number two; once again empty... though with a wine face, the man's accuracy was bound to be off. Unfortunately, dodging bottles mid-charge was what he had been avoiding to begin with. They had far too much ammunition between the two of them; he had to do something about that soon; and what better time than the present.

An eerie schlick echoed through the dank room as the Doctor's right arm pushed outward and his body pivoted to the left, knocking the bottle to the side as broken glass sliced through coat and forearm. The remnants would clank against a wooden rack to his side, but the Doctor wasn't done just yet.

With the left pivot, his left arm would shoot out to his right and the bottom of the shield would shimmer slightly. Before the retreating man knew what hit him, the bottom of the shield extended slightly and sank into a winerack to his side (in front of Griff) and another pivot, along with a good deal of forward momentum, brought the whole thing down on top of him.

The man wanted a drink, right?

[02/17]

15I Am Doctor Insano

]=[

What would really bake his noodle later...

Griff wasn't even close to drunk.

<optional reading>

Griff stands at just a hair below six foot, probably 5' 11.5". His body is covered head to toe in black material, specifically referred to as the FOG suit. The FOG Suit has three layers on it. The first, form fitting layer, is a black aramid bodysuit covers him to insulate the body's warmth and, more interestingly, prevent external heat from scolding him. The next layer is a kind of armor called Dragonskin. While far from as impervious as the namesake, the armor boasts extraordinary strength and defensive capabilities. To make it so that Griff was more capable of movement, the discs have been made .5 standard scale. Over this is a redundant layer of Aramid His face was mostly covered, with the exception of his eyes, with the same fire resistant material as his third layer. His weapons include two hip bags that contain a gPhone, as well as fifteen three inch knives (two inch blade, one inch grip) on either hip that can be used at a moment's notice if things get sticky. Considering certain situations, both of these packs have been relocated to Griff's left hip. On his right is his sword, the DeuxMascus. It seems unassuming, other than being remarkably thick for a sword it's length, though it is otherwise entirely normal upon cursory glance. Also. Griff only has his left arm.

<Back to business>

And what this 'doctor' didn't realize is that Griff is the only man in the building.

Having rolled to the side, Griff would come to a halt on his knee and had plenty of time during the SHIELD ATTACK! against the wine shelves Griff had been leaned to. Cause those sort of things are never bolted to the wall. Nah.

But this was no time for NO U!

This was a time for Griff's left arm to shoot across his body, grab onto the DeuxMascus as the shelf began to collapse upon him. His move was a fluent arc across the ground. A simple move, really. While the shelf was coming down, Morivan kicked forward and would get just out of range, attempting a wide arc cut on the back of the Doc's knee.

[2/17]

[Griff rolls forward out from under the wine case and goes to chop that b*****d's leg off at the knee.]

One Hour Prior

Ka-Tack

Tired red eyes looked around the room.

He'd come early- he was almost making a habit of that, and it felt strange when he thought about how he'd used to handle things. Today, he hadn't much else to do though, and plenty of motivation to be more than timely.

Dim lights, easy on the eyes. Empty floors, simple, unadorned room, and lots of alcohol placed generously about in mass.

Oh yes. Plenty of motivation.

Ka-Tack

His gloved fingers shifted over the pommel as he strode across the room, slowly looking over the stock while he paced, slowly and irritably, leaning slightly into the makeshift cane in his his left hand, using the careful balance he'd found of putting his weight into it just enough to let him walk easy until the ache in his right side died down a bit again. The thudding in his head was a little less likely to do so, but now that was down to bearable. One more week and he figured he'd be fighting-fit again, so to speak. Maybe a little more for his side, but that was without the extra help he'd gotten for it.

Still. Too many stairs, too much distance, too much walking just trying to take the tour and find the layout of the place before all the noisy folks showed up.

Ka-Tack

The pole still confused him. He thought he had an idea where that went, but it seemed strange to him.

...well, just now it actually seemed like a fantastic idea to him, but under normal context a bit odd. He'd have to give the place a bit of an extra touring afterwards and see what he made of it. The fellah who ran this place had been quite generous the last time Kael had run into him, and the sort of easy going he wished there was a bit more of. Hell, this year he was finding a regular collection of people he'd have liked to catch a drink with. Some time when he wouldn't be tempted to have more than was probably good for him, maybe.

Ka-Tack

He stopped and gave another quick once-over, eyes sticking on a detail he'd tried not to get caught up on last time.

Mr. Brown had been pretty generous indeed.

At Present

Besides the sampling Griff had helped himself to, there was a single empty slot, conspicuously right in the middle of the stocking of the moonshine rack.

17SilentMist

Mr. Morivan was very astute to notice that the shelving was not only bolted, but built into the very wall itself; after all, no one wanted to risk their liquor storage units coupling under its own weight. However, those same practitioners generally didn't expect some 200lbs of force to be applied to the side of the free-standing racks that usually littered the center floor of these types of places. There wasn't much wall-bolting that could occur to racks that weren't actually touching the wall.

CRASH!!

The sound of glass shattering across shelving and floor as bottles slid off the falling rack, clinking against other bottles and just generally causing a big heaping mess. The actual losses weren't terrible, but he still made sure to leave a mental note to repay Mr. Brown. He was kind enough to open his estate to doubtless destruction; have to keep public face, after all.

All that had very little bearing, however, when the nimble little man stopped on a dime and switched directions entirely, rolled under the falling shelf whilst (drawing?) a sword and chopping at presumably the Doctor's right leg, seeing as there was shelving to his left. Oh, he was good. Unfortunately for him, the Doctor was no pushover either, and as his sword came around Sam quickly dropped to his knees. This would leave the sword to come smashing into his side.

Tink

Came the resounding clang of metal upon metal. The downward motion would keep the sword from digging in the hidden breastplate as it skidded along his side. A painful impact? Sure, but what was a fight without a bit of pain?

Without missing a beat the Doctor's right hand would clasp around a seasoned bottle of brandy on the shelf to his left and his left hand, still crossing his body from the effort of knocking over a rack, would dislodge the shield from the wood and send the sharp, foot-long blade that was now extending from the bottom of the shield smashing into the side of Griff's head. If he didn't cut an ear in half or gouge through a cheek because of whatever armor the man was wearing, he would at least have the pleasure of following through with the swing and slamming Griff's head into shelving and the bottles thereon.

[03/17]

18I Am Doctor Insano

]=[

((...I'm not gonna NO U. I'm above that. But Griff WAS leaning against the wall. I said that. What'ev.))

Griff had dove to the side to avoid the shelf. The bottles clattered and smashed into the ground as wine spilled everywhere. Morivan had made a basic move, a dash forward, and with wine now coating the floor, Griff slippity slid right across the room. His posture leaned far back, and the blade would miss Griff for the most part, skirting over his forehead to tear the mask, blood was making a good run.

But the smashing the head was totally rawng.

Griff just spun past the doctor before extending his leg to pivot against the opposite wall. The fluidity of his spinning granted him the opportunity to retract his blade as he landed before springing up to his feet. He had swapped potions with the Doctor.

"...Can I see your PhD or MD. I don't think you're licensed." He muttered. He looked all kinds of good, smirking behind his mask. He juggled on his feet simply. "It's illegal, you know. Impersonating a doctor.

His hand fiddled with a bottle behind him as he taunted.

[3/17]

[Griff took a cut along the forehead, dodging the SLAM, slid to the opposite wall and stood to taunt.]

19Benjamin Nicolai

Ben just wasn't getting any fights lately, James and Griff had been stealing all of the spotlight lately. I mean why was here if not to fight, to beat and get beaten. So far none of that had been happening which probably had to do with his image, he just was too damn intimidating. His presence and fashion sense was just too much for them to handle. Therefore this time around, he was gonna spice things up by drastically changing his appearance from past fights. This time he kept it simply, dressed in a bulky sleeveless tee, slacks, and boots all black as night. No jacket, no shades but he still had his pearl studs. His blonde hair was cut a little bit lower, only extending several inches above his head instead of almost a foot in as it had been in past rounds. And to top it all off, he decided to to actually bring his weapons because obviously his manly unarmedness was also a contributor in scaring off challenges. His sword was sheathed and strapped to his left hip, the accompanying buckler handing from a strap on his other hip.

But no matter how he changed his outer appearance, Ben was still the same old cocky b*****d. He sauntered in and before he even acknowledge anybody else in the room, he went for the liquor. He made a bee line for one of the racks that weren't within the fighting area and picked up the first half decent bottle of vodka he could find. It wasn't until he had guzzled half the bottle that he actual turned to see who was around. With one hand on the bottle's neck and the bottom skyward,

he swerved his head from side to side the look in his eye daring anyone to ask what his problem was. And truth be told he did have a problem, he'd been without some good alcohol for quite some time and even though this was s**t it was the best and most abundant supply he had found so far. From the minute he'd received word on his fighter, he'd been itching to get over here and the only thing that had stopped him was oversleeping once again. But that was in the past and he was presently in heaven, so he was going to enjoy his future.

But first things first, he had to greet his teammates now that he had some drink in him. James looked like he was gonna start whistling like a kettle, so he poured some on top of his head to cool him down. It was a pain to see that liquor go to waste but it was a sacrifice for the greater good. Next he moved onto to Snow, but he seemed to already covered in drink so he gave him a pat on the pack as if to say well done. Seeing as Griff was already getting his groove on, Ben would leave him alone and instead just tip his drink to him from the sidelines. And then, as was customary in the country he'd moved to once he turned 10, he let the dregs of his bottle pour out to the carpet with the customary line...

"Один для моих парней" or as they would say in America, "One for my homies".

20Fierach

"Do that, and you won't get to fight next" James said pointedly, before Ben could pour his drink on him.

He was pretty fair minded, the newbie hadn't gotten to fight at all barring a striker last round, so James understood his desire for combat. After all, James himself had gone through last HoH without a fight half the time, and it was a shitty feeling.

Kinda like withdrawal symptoms on a crack addict.

But it didn't stop him from pulling rank. And if that didn't work, more physical means would be necessary.

21Tei Kae

Song looked at the other team, mainly the interaction between James and the man she couldn't recall if she'd met or not and had to chuckle. Boys will be boys. With a grin, she pulled her gaze away from them and towards the 'good doctor'; her ease vanishing, to see what exactly he was doing. Was it so wrong of her to wish that Griff would solve at least a few of her problems for her?

And where was Kain and Vivi. The naga she half expected to be late, but Kain was mostly punctual. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to give him a little talking to. Now just to decide how everything else would match up.

22Benjamin Nicolai

Fierach Wrote:

Huh--what?

Aren't these people his teammates? Aren't they supposed to know him or something? Obviously not, if he thought pulling something like rank could work.

So instead of pouring some vodka on his head, Ben poured the drink into James' open mouth before he could finish talking. You can't disobey an order if you can't hear it. Plus, the his captain looked parched.

23SilentMist

What, had he been matched up against a ballerina? Slipping, spinning, and bounding across the floor like some drunken circus acrobat. Well, the wine on the floor would begin to cause its own problems for the Doctor as well soon enough, so as Griff performed his little acrobatic maneuver he would stretch out a leg and bring himself back to his feet closer to the center of the room, taking the bottle of liquor with him. This would keep them within the 4ft melee range, while both remained out of the growing puddle of wine on the floor.

It was interesting to note that the man probably had more booze on him than in him now.

"I'll be glad to show you my credentials later.. but I think you might find my research more interesting."

His last word was accented by another extension of the blade as he pointed it forward. It was a demonstration; after all, this device was the pique of his accomplishments as a Doctor. A living metal. The base of the blade that was connected to the shield shimmered as if it was liquid as it grew and extended the short distance between them; however, a good 4 inches at the end was still very solid and dangerous looking.

He was aiming to pierce the man straight in the chest, between lungs and heart where it would hurt like hell but not damage anything important. Armor was expected, but he could still revel in the surprise as he prepared his follow up.

[04/17]

24Fierach

The fu-

Sputter, sputter, cough. Spit.

Right back into Ben's face.

smilies/icon_scream.gif

James grabbed Ben by the cuff of his shirt. He looked a little drunk. His mind raced quickly through that, mythbusters show he watched on the Discovery Channel a few days prior. Best ways of sobering somebody up.

Quote: Drinking black coffee will help a drunk person sober up.

Busted

James didn't have any coffee on hand either.

Quote: Exercising vigorously will help a drunk person sober up.

Plausible

He COULD dress Ben up in a white lab rat suit and make him run a treadmill. Maybe later.

Quote: Dunking his head in ice water will help a drunk person sober up.

Busted

No ice water available anyway.

Quote: Getting slapped in the face will help a drunk person sober up.

Plausible

Perfect.

James proceeded to bitchslap Ben silly repeatedly till he came back to HoH fight land. With his right hand. His armored, right hand.

25Benjamin Nicolai

Fierach Wrote:

He looked a little drunk.

If James that Ben was drunk, he was more of an idiot than the blond thought he was. Ben was a Russian and Russians drank vodka like it was water, so it was going to take a lot more than half a handle to get him tipsy. Naww, the reason Ben acted like he did was because he was an a**, plain and simple. Nobody liked asses but they got a few chuckles and boy did they have fun, kinda like the fun Ben was having right now.

So if James wanted to shoot some liquor back his teammate, so be it. Ben would take all the alcohol he could get. And that little bit that he got back in the face would make up for the little bit he spilled when he smacked James upside the head with the bottle. You don't go grabbing people buy their clothing, especially not vain pricks like Ben. His reaction to be grabbed was so fast, that James woulds still be considering his actions when he got hit.

Probably wasn't enough to down his captain, but that wasn't his intention. Nope, he just wanted to rattle his cage further and get him off of him. The knee to the sack that followed was meant to take him down. Ben really didn't like it when bitches messed with his threads.

Viviana's eyes were alight with the sort of childlike joy you expect from a kid in a candy store.

"You know, Capitaine" She said, almost breathlessly as she emerged through the entrance way into an impressive wine cellar, "I almost thought you were just joking with me when you told me it was... Ah! Is that a bottle of 1994 Burgandy Pinot Noir?" The Lamia paused to inspect,

"It is! It's Wolf Blass!" she exclaimed happily, full of the sort of enthusiasm people usually saved for birthday parties or large sporting events. She plucked it from the rack and walked next to Song, positively grinning.

"Anyway., cherie At least tell me all our opponents are 'ere ne?" Viviana flicked some stray silver curls over her shoulder. She held out the bottle to Song, "Can you keep this one safe for me Capitaine? I might 'ave reaons to lament or celebrate in a moment, and either way, it's a good drop."

James automatically rose up his knee after being clipped upside the head with the vodka bottle. After all, Ben was as gay as they came, and gay men always went for nut shots.

Pretty predictable really. It'd take harder hits to the head to take down James however, as most would've figured out already.

smilies/icon_scream.gif

Still with the "You just sorta pissed me off and now you going to pay expression" on his face, James headbutted Ben.

And set both faces on fire.

James wouldn't care, he was pretty much unaffected and the flames seemed to just vanish off him instantly. As for Ben, well, hair tended to catch fire pretty easily, and it didn't help that he had vodka all over his face now.

If he quit being an a** James might consider having Snow douse the electric man.

Griff's move was really quite rudimentary. As the opponent would stab forward, Griff would snake his way to the left, about six feet from the stairs. He drug out with him a bottle of a white liquid. There was no label. There was no year. The bottle rattled against his hip as he began to walk slowly to the side. "You know, James!" Griff shouted to his captain. "I feel ripped off! You said we'd be fighting MEN!"

A sidestep before sprinting forward. He would be on the outside of the enemy's left when he made this sideways attempt for the Doctor's jaw. If the move worked flawlessly, the bottle would shatter on his jaw and then cut along his face, his wounds being filled with the 130 proof red neck brandy.

[Griff sidestepped the attack and attempts to go at Doctor's face with a bottle of Moonshine. He is standing at a 90* angle to Doctor.]

Pssh, another dodge. With reflexes sharp enough to anticipate surprise ranged attacks, it was becoming clear he wouldn't be caught off guard very easily.

Luckily, his metal was a very versatile device, and when the extended range became inconvenient the liquid at the base of the shield would simply fall off, leaving the 4ft expanse of blade to completely liquefy and fall to the floor in a manner similar to the many ounces of wine it would be joining. Only, unlike the alcohol, the metallic liquid would begin creeping across the floor towards the Doctor's foot, seeking to rejoin where it had been so abruptly cut off.

In the meantime the Doctor's newly mobile left hand would shoot down and catch his own falling bottle, dropped as his right hand crossed his body to meet the wrist of Griff's flailing arm. Only a small turn was necessary to compensate for the new angle, and if his overly precise vicegrip held true the Doctor's arm would press firmly against Griff's neck as his fingers tightened with unnatural strength. If the man's wrist had any flexibility to it, the Doctor's cheek bone would meet an uncomfortable smack, but glass was a good bit more durable than the man gave it credit for and the force wouldn't be quite enough for it to shatter.

"Funny you should mention men, oh little ballerina." he said with a laugh. Emerald orbs glimmering with a bloodlust surprisingly uncharacteristic of the man.

Hardly a second after the wrist grab the good Doctor would shove the bottom of his own brandy into the man's gut as a one-two motion. Oh, but he wasn't finished there. The Doctor's use of tactics in battle belied one small factor people seemed to overlook: the man was a tank, pure and simple. A cybernetically enhanced hunk of raw power.

It was this power that pushed forward as arms, shoulders, back, and legs bulged with muscle. Yes, the Doctor was quite literally lifting the man off the ground by his neck and gut and bullrushing forward to the nearest wall. A lowered shoulder would ensure that the one-armed man would feel the full effect of his METALLIC SAMMICH, and the wood and glass behind him would be even less forgiving.

Muy Thai checking a nut check? What with such a quick reaction, it was almost as if he was expecting it...

******! It’s that gay st again! Just because a man has class and style that does not make him gay, it just makes him smart and maybe metrosexual.

And just like quote on quote "gay" men always went for the 'nads, pissed off arrogant bitches always went for the face. People were just too damn jealous of his good looks; they always try to ruin them in order to make themselves feel better. Well over years of getting head butts, nose crunches in the likes, he had a solid defense to such tactics.

Like how he simply pulled back on his captain head, using the hand that had delivered the blow to James' cranium. It was still sitting there, so it was simply enough to pull back on the demonslayer's ugly bangs and lean his own head back, especially with that 5 inch height difference. Add a little face shoving afterwards and that headbutt, as well as whatever hold the Asian had on his neck, were going to be null and void. Instead there was going to be a little head meeting wall action going on with James and that wine case behind him.

Anyway.

Headbutt failed, it was a relatively simple matter to move both hands up from the cuff of Ben's shirt, to his neck, and lift the Russkie up into the air. Was James shorter then Ben? Yes. Was he weaker? Hell no.

Without his feet touching the floor, it'd be Ben who'd be slammed into wine case, instead of James. He was only lucky James wasn't using his flames with this technique, as he normally did.

As it was, James was applying significantly more pressure then most would think necessary between teammates, with every intention of subduing the newbie immediately. It'd be in Ben's best interest to simply give up at this point, given, the multitude of rather, fatal, things that could occur should he push James too far.

Meanwhile, while James and Ben were feeling each other up with the whole alcohol fiesta on the sidelines, the swordsman on the other hand was checking out the opposition team with a bored look on his face. Having recieved a pat by Ben on his back wasn't a good feeling, considering the ******** electrocuted the swordsman in the last round, prior to his fight.

And a bit on the restless side, he was also the first to catch on to a nearby woman that seemed to be interested in Ben's little action going on. Seriously now, why are girls always that interested in jackasses?

And then the fight is starting to turn ugly for James and Ben. The swordsman, putting himself in a temporary facepalm moment and not seeing the shuriken fly harmlessly past the two idiots, decided to finally intervene as he took his weapon out from his left hip - still sheathed in the scabbard before placing the scabbard right between James and Ben's view, as if having himself intervene in this internal conflict.

"I SUGGEST..." The swordsman began in a cold voice, "...that you guys direct your befouled mood at the opposition first... and win this round, before trying to go for each other's throats."

The swordsman made a brief gesture at the opposition team, who was on the other side of the fight, perhaps amused at team Caliber's internal conflict in the meantime.

"And after finishing off this round....you can THEN go and try and beat the s**t out of each other. With something that doesn't involve getting us disqualified or kicked out of the tournament."

CLASHATTER!

Okay. The bottle for the shine would not be strong enough to withstand a full blown thrust into Doctor's jaw. So, the bottle broke, and the liquid just covered the man's front. Conversely, so did the bottle against Griff's belly. The glass would tear the aramid when it broke, but the scales were definitely stronger, so that was that.

NOW!

As for the rest of this.

Griff would snarl as the opponent slammed his neck and lifted him, but he would not allow himself to be so easily ruined. No. He would lean his head back, his chin sliding backwards. His mask got caught, tearing the fabric wide open as Morivan went to bite the Doctor right through the tendons and muscle of the wrist.

Stars sparkled across the good Doctor's vision as some odd form of wrist-stopped full blown thrust caused the bottle to shatter against the side of his metallic frame, giving Sam his first taste of The Drink, and oh what a powerful version it was. Shame it had to cover his clothing more than his mouth. An oddly colored bruise and minor cuts formed at ground zero, but a little smack to the head wasn't enough to stop the train. Not even the glass shards sticking into the leather-like glove from his own bottle shattering, for some odd reason, would stop him. In fact, it only gave him more leverage to lift the man from his gut and now (apparently) mouth.

Ankle Wrist biting? Was this guy serious? Well, from the sounds resounding at the other end of the room this entire team was stark raving mad. Unfortunately for him, however, since the material running up the Doctor's arm had already solidified to an iron-like state to add extra neck-smashing impact in the sammich, he would have to have some durable, or heavily indentured, pearly whites to pierce what he found beneath the immaculate coat sleeve.

To tell the truth, the world isn't going to change anytime sooner than Ben realizing the secrets behind the universe.

In this case it was the HoH tournament, but for the swordsman...

Watching the two settle down - despite some injuries and personal gestures of HAET being thrown between James and Ben - the swordsman tucked his scabbard back to his left hip, holstering it in place before leaning back and watching the fight near the sidelines.

"Whew..."

Looks like they should be able to avoid any other disputes until this round is over.

Ben didn't crumple, he wasn't made out of paper after all. But he did hit the ground on his knees, breathing strained as he massaged his swore neck. But, for the moment at least, he turn his attentions away from his idiot captain and back towards their opponents who he'd been ignoring for quite some time.

Surprisingly enough, on the other side stood Frenchy with some random pirate chick. He took one hand away from his throat to give his old opponent a wave and gave the pirate woman an eyebrow raise and a now. There was something that said she was somehow involved in some possible misfortune to his well being, he couldn't put his finger on and thus he'd keep on moving to Griff's opponent. "Damnit" James sighed as he did a rough analysis of the situation. It came up as "Griff is getting Owned".

Time to rectify that.

James hit the all mighty striker button on his FIGHTER and went in to do his job.

The Doctor would have no indication of the striker coming, none whatsoever, until he felt James's fingertips nudging lightly into his lower back.

Deep breathe, body posed with both feet planted parallel to each other, both hands held loosely in knifehand formation with the tips poking into Griff's opponent.

And with perfect, synchronized motion, James applied the pinnacle of his martial arts knowledge with a single devastating blow.

Several things happened at once. Both hands moved as one, as if attached by a pulley system, one punching forward and the other went back. His right leg slid forward as James twisted his body and threw his weight into the blow, behind his armored striking (right) hand. A mighty roar erupted from his throat, as muscles throughout his body contracted and tensed for the hit; the legs rooted, his ribs expanded and last, but not least, James struck as if he was punching through his target.

KRSMASH!!

Glass, wood, and booze rained down upon the both of them as the 300 pound man slammed the acrobatic ballerina straight into the wall. With a hand in his gut, the fact that he still had air in his lungs was nothing short of miraculous.

With his left side forward, he had little choice but to let Griff's wrist go as it was yanked away, but what grasping hand would be left behind would quickly find its way to the man's face, fingers coming to grip his lower jaw. If there was any rule of martial arts the spectators could take away from this performance, it was "Wherever the head goes, the body must follow." Not to mention that heads were much easier to yank than any other part of the body.

The Doctor was so caught up in his trip down bloodlust lane that he didn't even notice the conflict ending at the other end of the room; nor the striker making his steady way into position. He didn't even feel the fingers press against the back of his makeshift cuirass. He did feel the attack, however.

KRAKOOM!!

The sound that followed would be a combination of many things.

The wood and residual glass of the shelving cracking further as the bulking man was slammed back into Mr. Morivan for a second sandwich. His grip on Griff's jaw would force his chin up and head back, threatening to sprain neck muscles. This little surprise would probably prevent him from curling his body or, if he was particularly fast, his knife-filled arm would be caught on chest, arm, or shoulder. If the impact didn't cause him to drop the knives and they weren't caught in the flowing labcoat the gaping Doctor would certainly have his hands full in a moment.

The poor ballerina would also have to deal with another smash to his gut. Better hope his ablounge had been in good use.

The second sound would come from metal cracking and digging its way into Sam's back with a sickening schlink. The impact spot on his coat would quickly soak with a mixture of familiar metallic liquid and a strange off-yellow substance one could only interpret as blood... and this interpretation could accurately be drawn by the similar looking color of his face where the bottle had hit.

RAGE

Somewhere deep down inside the Doctor knew who had done this. Bloodlust plus animosity would finally overcome the calm fighter's mind and unleash something only seen from a select few others in the tournament proper. A monster of repression was truly something to be feared, and for someone like Samuel de Medici, cybernetic enhancements and all, the light gleaming in his eyes could only tell of horrors to come.

Griff snarled loudly as he back was slammed into the wall once more. The scales along his chest and across the shoulder blades shattered. A short roar of pain, but not enough to ruin the soldier. Far from it. In ten seconds, the suspended mother ******** would do three simple motions, each with possibly profound results.

The first was merely a repeat of the previous attack. For no apparent reason, the attack failed before. Just... didn't. So, Griff snarled and did it again. This time, he centered his fist and just slammed down. The knives were poised differently. They were poised to gouge both eyes out at once, and then Griff would, connect or glance, tear out to his left.

The left foot would curl upward and Griff would let the knee and hip go as dead weight as possible, his foot just pressed to Doc's chest. And the right foot, in an unceremonious and truly unethical maneuver, would attempt to bean wassisface right in the twig'n'berries.

So he went to Stage 1.5 instead. Despite the many and varied types of punches James had at his disposal, Mubyoshi was special, because it kept a great deal many options open to James as a follow-up, and the man did not intend to leave the Doc feeling very good, if he'd feel at all.

Swiftly, the demon-slayer, still in the after-stance from striking, fished his custom MoD Mk V combat knife out of his jacket with his left hand, and took a massive step forward on his left leg, almost as if intending to One-Two the guy with Mubyoshis. This blow wouldn't have nearly as much power as the first one, but it was still extremely potent, and James's resourcefulness made it all the deadlier as he used the power of the technique not to deliver another punch, but to drive the knife into the Doc's lower spine, straight to the hilt.

He'd leave it there of course.

Bajiquan. Wushu. Muay Thai. Karate. Kenpo. All major influences in his martial style. James decided to quit holding back, and this was as good a time as any to do so.

After stabbing him, James'll double time it back out of the arena in good order and complete the striker, breathing heavily. Even without using his flames, the sheer amount of concentration he put into that punch sapped his energy and fatigued him. It was a new technique after all, but it'd get only more extreme and easier to execute as time went on. Lord knows just how ******** up the Doctor was from the first hit alone, nevermind having a knife jammed into the lower spine.

And seeing James take a similar striker for use didn't bode well for the swordsman's opinion.

There were a very, very few choice people who James knew yelled his name in that manner. And they were not women (with that one exception when his mother caught him stealing cookies from the cookie jar, but still). And also usually never, ever, bode well for him.

So what he did next was almost as instinctive as reactive. He threw himself out of the way with all the power he coud muster, narrowingly dodging a human projectile.

On the way, James smoothly performed an ukemi, a breakfall motion similar to tumbling, and rolled back onto his feet, before scrambling back to the sidelines.

"Nice to see that you remember my name" he taunted as he got out.

Griff was on his own now though. Maybe Ben should've strikered instead, but pulverizing the Doc like that was both personal and satisfying. Well, she started to head up, and then changed her mind. No, this wouldn't do. Not at all. They still had other fights to take care of. Tapping the bottle in one hand while holding the neck of it with the other, turned back and made her way down the few steps she had gone up.

To test a theory, she hefted the nice stock bottle, and threw it at the blond's chest, fully expecting for him to either catch it or to somehow block it. As he was dealing with the bottle, she would follow through on her own attack, grabbing her sword's hilt and stepping forward, even while she watched him for reactions.

If she saw him move to catch the bottle, his hand would be lower on his body. And the sword hilt as the blade was drawn would remain at a sharp angle and hopefully slam the balled pommel at the end would slam into his jaw. It was going to get close, and nasty, quickly.

Ben was chillin up against the wall, impatiently waiting for his chance to throw down. But he wouldn’t have long to wait since Frenchy decided to get this ball on a roll quick, tossing a perfectly good bottle of alcohol at him. He had several choices as far as what he could do in this matter, but only one that would not result in alcohol being wasted. So he caught the bottle and hugged it close to his left armpit as if he was a wide receiver in a football game. Meanwhile the woman with the nerve to throw away good alcohol, was jabbing at him with the shiny butt of her sword. Damn, he wouldn’t have time to pop the cork on this one.

She fast to have covered the space between the stairwell and him so fast, which meant he couldn’t lag behind in his response. And make no mistake he would respond, her foul mood disposition towards liquor was ticking him off and with such a telegraphed motion, he knew what was coming. So Ben would it like it’s hot (his upper torso that is, not the bottle) curling his whole body up under the swing before he followed Snoop Dog’s timeless advice and popped his big ol’ yellow head right into her gut.

This might interfere with her ability to taunt him in his native tongue. And he loved it when women spoke dirty Russian, damn. This was really gonna hurt him more than it hurt her.

55Tei Kae

Yes, the move was telegraphed. On purpose. It was a way to test him out to see how he'd respond to things. Wasn't that how all fights started? But he was quick on his feet, she had to give him that. Even before her arm had gone all the way over his head, his head was slamming into her upper torso. Which yes, was protected by the nice armor she wore under the black and blue bodysuit; but that didn't mean it wasn't going to do something.

In fact, it did what was usually intended in those situations, push the opponent away. Song was pushed backwards, away from Ben. But she wasn't quite ready to go just yet, and so did what any self respecting female would do, her hands tightening as if to grip on something; a something which she already had in her hands, her sword, as she went in a diagonally downward direction, the hand which hadn't completely made it over Ben's bent head slammed down into the back of his skull with her full 165 pound weight giving it momentum in a very short distance. That was going to be a ringer of a headache.

But she'd continue down, only to catch her weight and take another step backwards, grinning at him. So far, he was meeting expectations. Even if she was a tad winded from the headbutt to her chest.

((Because of his height, and her lack of it, I think it'd be a bit harder to hit her actual stomach with her that close, but I'll give you the chest area.))

and neither was he.

Who would have thunk it? Only a few seconds into the fight and they were already in synch, both thinking the exact same thing as she was pushed back from the headbutt to her armored boobies, the still quite large volume of hair softening some of the recoil.

So as she was busy trying to redirect her hilt to his skull, he was busy shoving off with both feet to keep up with her and push his advantage. He was basically shooting with his head buried in her boobies instead of her gut, as he attempted to grab her both of her legs for a double leg takedown. Which was quite possible with his superior arm length and her small frame. And unless she has some EPIC BOOBS, she's going to be hard pressed to hit head as it was so close to her body.

If she manged to swing her hilt into the tight arc necessary to slam it into his head, it would add further pain to his cranium (as hitting rock hard tits did in fact hurt) but not deter him. It would only make him teary eyes and a bit groggy, and add a little knot/bow to top off this present of a man.

2/17

57Tei Kae

Well, she had nice boobs, but her fate was not such that she had EPIC boobs. So as he collided with her boobs, and then wrapped his arms around her legs for that double take down, she wrapped her left arm around his neck as if clinging to him, even while her pommel would pound repeatedly into the back of his skull as hard as she could. (Which for her weight, was actually more than decent.)

But she'd only get four or five hits before they slammed to the ground, her own head hitting the wood floor once before she had the sense to lift it. Well, now if this wasn't an embarrassing situation.

"Милочка, я нет того вида девушки…" Darling, I'm not that type of girl, she laughed, and her left hand reached up and grabbed the hair that was so close to the scalp; what people didn't realize was that shorter hair actually hurt more when pulled than longer hair, and so gripped the back of hand tight against his scalp and yanked his head away from her breasts so she could see into his eyes...

...Right before kissing his forehead.

"Если вы хотите получить содружественными, то вам нужно спросить сперва." in other words, 'If you want to get friendly, you need to ask first'She was still having fun at this point.

He got the legs, the right with a firm grip and the left with a halfie , the bottle sandwiched in between his pit and elbow. It wasn't the best hold but it was good enough for the situation, with her clinging to his head desperately and all. He knew that women got turned on by a good fight but damn, she was supposed to act like she didn't want it.

Well it seemed like he had roped a wild on this time. He could tell that she was just fiending for some good loving, as pounding on the back of his head so lovingly. That sort of s**t would have put a lesser man into a coma but instead he just got a few more knots than he could bargain for. But it was still an understatement to say that his head was pounding, as it was too the point that his eyes were tearing up which would make her boobs slick and the situation even more sexual than it needed to be. And to top it all off he'd also unlocked a fight achievement in the process.

His eyes were a little blurry as attention was brought to some pulling at his sore head. After you got your head pounded in, everything was tender to the touch and thus it would hurt as she worked her fingers in. But he wouldn't be the only one feeling the pain. His opponent might think that he cut his hair in order to stave off attempts to grab it, but there was no need. He only cut his hair to look more badass than he normally was, his hair needed no more defense than its natural one.

Ever wonder why his hair stuck up like a sore thumb? Why it said ******** you to gravity almost ever second of the goddamn day? Electricity. Electricity was Ben's mojo, his spirit, his element, his energy, his SCIENCE. It coursed through his blood and muscles and every part of his body. Most of this happened beneath the surface but his hair was different, for electricity always flowed through his golden locks to keep them in the hair style of his choice. Thus among other things they were a good indication of his level of involvement and activity at the current moment. In a fight like this, which was fast paced and sexy, his hair was standing erect and giving off high levels compared to other moments.

So when she got all touchy feely with his hair, although that was pretty sexy, it would also be pretty stupid. As soon as she started touching his hair the electricity, both from his hair and an automatic discharge from his body would jump into her's and she'd feel a small jolt which was not large enough to do too much damage but would burn and ******** with her nervous system for a little bit. Personally, Ben wouldn't have minded what would came next but it was a knee jerk reaction reminiscent of Miu Furinji of the Kenichi series. Frenchy would being going into a brief moment of paralysis, unless of course unless she had some sort of resistance to his charms electricity.

"Жаль, но мне действительно не нравится, когда люди касаются моих волос." Which, for those who lazy Americans, means "Sorry but I really don't like when people touch my hair".

While she was caught up, he'd be putting her into a full mount such that he sat on her hips stomach and his legs squeezed hers together. Her sword wielding arm would be restrained by his own, and the bottle would change hands if necessary. He'd then pop the cork with his mouth to all the fruity smell of the wine waffer out the bottle. If all went swell, this would be around that time that she'd have full control once more.

"Thirsty?" He'd say, switching up the languages so that all the viewers at home could follow along.

It only goes to figure that the pyromancer would already be backing away even as he went for the stab. Emotions had very strange effects on people; fear would cause one to flee, anger would cause them to push forward. Even pain had its own special effect.

For the good Doctor, pain was beginning to have a very sobering effect. Oh, that fire still burned in his eyes; however, even as he stood back to watch his work unfold, placing the majority of his weight on his left, non-injured side, he was able to asses the damages his body had sustained and the general prognosis was: CALM THE F*** DOWN! It was true, they were all going to die, but that was no reason to lose his own head. They could all die later, when the company didn't have something to lose.

Superman... he had been called that before. Admittedly, it sounded a bit more flattering coming from a woman. Still, his opponent's new nuclear tendencies were duly noted, even if his mind was elsewhere.

"You and I have a score to settle, Eredas," he began, completely ignoring Griff's taunts, "I am not so cowardly. These FIGHTERs may have saved you today, but when next we meet one of us will die."

He was not wasting all this time for conversation, however, as during his little statement his metal was moving. A stream of metallic liquid would rise from his collar and cover the injuries on his face. A thin layer that wouldn't offer much more protection than skin, but it would stop the bleeding and dull the pain. The liquid on the floor would also reach him, crawling up his boot and into his pant leg to rejoin the main mass. Finally, the wall would notice the metal of his cuirass reshaping and repairing from behind his torn coat and shirt. It covered his wound in a manner similar to what it had done to his face before layering a new section to the plate that protected his back, the bottom layer tightening and contorting to his midsection so that excessive movements wouldn't cause further pain.

It was a breather round, but in case Morivan had any surprises the Doctor would take a side-stance, left foot forward with shield up.

She bit her lip when her hand touched his hair, the sharp zap sending a jolt of pain through her still slightly nerve damaged fingers. But not enough to stop her completely. Since not only did she already have limited nerve damage in that arm, she was also wearing leather biker gloves that covered all but her finger tips. But enough got through to make her pause.

She still grabbed his hair and yanked him upright. But what she did feel, made her hesitant to continue. "Стыд." Shame But he still caught her unaware by the sudden straddle, and when he asked if she was thirsty, she couldn't help but laugh even though her sword arm was caught well and good.

"Я чувствую как мы должны находиться в спальне, не винный погреб." A comment meant only for him with her husky yet sassy voice. She was biding her time at this point.

Strangely enough, she didn't take being electrocuted as bad as most people did, probably due to some natural resistance to the element or backup in her wiring and thus she wasn't completely stunned. But though she still had some degree of control, she didn't seem all that eager to resist him. There was absolutely no trouble on assuming his mount or pinning her down, it was as if she wanted it.

And then she had to go whispering and sweet nothing in his air, albeit she didn't really whisper it. But she might as well have as the veil of foreign language would keep this conversation away from any unwanted ears.

"Но тогда у нас не было бы никакого вина, чтобы ослабить напряженность." Or for the youngins and english speakers, "But then we wouldn't have any wine to ease the tension."

He'd chuckle as he poured a little bit in her mouth, before he took a swig himself. And he'd continue to do so as the men in the audience cheered on from the tubes and woman made those men sandwhiches until she did something interesting.

"HEY!" Griff shouted, his eyes narrowed. His advance was slow, but he seemed to be doing something with his finger. As if to say he was preparing for something. "I'm the one you're paying attention to, ugly!" His index seemed to bob on his sword's guard more than regular.

"Unless you and Eredas need to get to the next plateau of your relationship."

"напряжение" She grinned, and pulled her hand down around his neck until it was gripping the front of his shirt lightly. "Какое напряжение?" She never thought her Russian lessons would come in handy. But it seemed so with this fellow. "Я думаю что мы делает как раз отлично на наших " in effect, 'I think we are doing just fine on our own.'

She gripped the front of his shirt tighter and pulled him down, seemingly for a kiss. Although at the moment, her intent was to distract him enough and then push him off her...

...something else entirely happened.

As her lips touched flesh, whether lips or just skin, another one of her abilities would rear it's head.

Raphael‭’‬s Kiss Wrote:

‭ ‬– A healing touch,‭ ‬Song must‭ ‬administer the‭ ‬healing through a kiss.‭ ‬The kiss incapacitates the victim/patient for a period of time that it is in effect.‭ ‬The effectiveness of the ability is to accelerate the healing by a factor of‭ ‬7.‭ ‬So therefore a wound that would normally take‭ ‬7‭ ‬days to heal takes‭ ‬1.‭ ‬She‭ ‬cannot replace lost blood,‭ re attach‬ or create limbs,‭ ‬nor can she cure disease.‭ ‬She can seal wounds,‭ ‬both internal and external,‭ ‬mend broken bones,‭ ‬but not compound fractures unless she first sets the bones.‭

If he hadn't done anything, she'd think that it had worked, and she'd distracted him into being stunned and push against his chest and arms as well as to roll to her side to make sure he was no longer straddling her before getting to her feet as quickly as possible.

Luckily, so far the only wounds he had was boob face and those nasty head bumps. So the period of incapacitation would only last a moment or two while his boo boos were fixed by the 'magic' kiss. So she simply stood there, waiting for...something...

The woman had a point, the wine really wasn't necessary. And it wasn't really his drink of choice, and so it was expendable. Good thing to know later down the line, in case they ever got off the floor. But he saw a slim chance of that happening.

Things began to heat up even more as flirtation turned to shirt grabbing, a sign of something good coming Ben's way. So he didn't resist, as he was happy to come along for the ride and get a taste of those sweet lips. And believe of not, her lips were sweeter than any other he had tasted like fresh fruit plucked from the vine. He started to get into it for a second, or at least he tried to, before realizing that he couldn't move through all this ecstasy. A kinda of magical tingling that went from his head to his head, repairing the bruises on his head.

Good thing his hair had already been discharge or things could have turned for the worse but as they were, things were going pretty good as he got a free heal and all. Only thing he could complain about was that the woman was getting away, which was sad to say the least. There was so many things he could have done in that position, but he guessed that missionary just wasn't her style.

Well whatever, he was always up for new things. He'd begin to regain control of his body as she shoved him away, and he'd keep on rolling until there was some space between them. Then he too would return to his feet, open (now half empty, due to spillage as he rolled) bottle still sitting in his right hand. He sighed sadly, as if accepting a sad fact that had just begin to dawn on him.

Emerald hues finally fell upon the slowly approaching soldier. His head still remained facing James, however, making the side/upward tilt very intentionally haughty. Was he looking down on the man? You bet your a** he was! In the Doctor's opinion, anyone who had to resort to insults as taunts was compensating for a lack of class that only a distracted opponent could make up for. 'Bringing them down to your level', as it were. That wasn't to say Sam didn't have his own flaws; he was evil, after all, but internal commentary doesn't usually include self insults.

Since the opponent was taking his sweet time the good Doctor decided to make some further preparations of his own. A quick mental check, and suddenly his metal was alive again, liquefying at his right hand and running up itself, solidifying on the inside as it went, to form a pole of some sort in his grasp. It would completely solidify at about a foot and a half before the end erupted like a blooming flower to make the shape of a serrated 15th century mace. Unbeknownst to Griff, Sam now had a few nickle-sized holes on the left side of his cuirass and his right glove was reduced to the density of cloth in order to form this new weapon.

"You're welcome to join your captain's fate." he responded coldly, that bloodlust still residual in his eyes.

"Don't you get it?"

It was almost like he WANTED Griff to win this, Morivan pondered as he continued his slow jaunt over to the doctor. But the jog didn't last forever, and in a moment's time, Griff broke his stride, dashing forward just a short ways. He was well on the other side of the room when he started, and upon making it half way, he would slam to his knees in a powerslide across the room, drawing his sword from the quick to lance for Doc's belly.

But that would not be all.

The good doctor had given Griff time to breathe. And though it would hardly be some sort of all powerful explosion, it would be enough. From behind the doctor, the sound of a pop would go off. A loud one. And at once, seven bottles of wine would shoot out of the wall, all aimed for the Doctor's upper back.

[10/17]

[Griff draws and thrusts his sword from his knees, aiming for the low end of Doc's belly. He also uses his air mana to shoot wine bottles from the wall in rapid succession.]

67Tei Kae

"Da."

She grinned, even though inside, her mind was rolling. What had happened. She felt odd...like after she used one of her abilities. But if she had, she had no idea what it was, or what it did.

She moved her sword back to her hip, snapping the lock back in place even while she continued to watch him.

"Говорю я, делаю вы люблю оно грубо?" She grinned, and unsnapped her whip, and cracked it more for effect than anything. For the unknowing, it meant 'Tell me, do you like it rough?' Sounds like she wanted to get kinky. With another flick of the whip, she lashed out and wrapped it around his leg before giving the whip a hard tug. Or maybe she just wanted to be on top for a tussle on the ground.

[6/17]

[3/12]

68Benjamin Nicolai

Ben really couldn't tell whether the conversation had ended or not, things just seemed as sexual as ever. I mean she even opted for a whip instead of a sword and even added in a little snap, all of which spelled Kinky with a capital 'K'. Benimaru felt the need to arm himself as well, unsnapping his buckler from his hip with his right hand while leaving his sword alone. A fairly bold and unnatural move for him as the buckler had always been in used in tandem with some sort of blade. Guess they had somehow came to wordless decision to keep things things clean and for good reason. They probably ended sleeping with their opponent tonight and no one likes to sleep with Mr./Mrs Cut-up-and-Bleeding.

"О, Вы знаете, что я делаю" aka "Oh, you know I do."

He couldn't really block a whip to his legs, his arm just didn't reach that far nor could them move that fast. So Frenchy would indeed succeed on roping herself a stallion, the question is, can she tame him? Slim chance of that happening. He'd stumble as she yanked on the cord and he'd go with the motion to an extent as his legs split apart with the left coming forward and bend at the knee. But that would be as far as he went with the motion, as his free right hand was now close enough to grab the cord that bound him.

Now having a hand in the string that bounded them together, he'd give a little tug of his own to bring her close enough for a little buckler tap to the torso. He didn't want to bruise the nearly epic boobs, so he aimed a little lower to smack her in the gut.

6/17

69Tei Kae

Oooh...on his knees. smilies/icon_wink.gif

Well, not quite, but it was fun to think about. For the moment, nothing existed for Song but this fight, and this man. And if she had a little fun with it along the way, no one could blame her.

She kept a grip on the whip handle, and let him tug her forward, but as the buckler went to slam into her torso, she opened her hand enough that she gripped the buckler and pressed it tighter against her stomach to use it to brace her body as her leg lifted up, and slammed a kick with her knee to his face. Damn, the girl was flexible. Despite her 'weight', she had training in gymnastics, and ballet, and was damned agile.

The only way he'd really be able to avoid it was to either push her away completely or be really creative.

[7/17]

[3/12]

70Benjamin Nicolai

Avoid? Wasn't the whole point of rough sex to be aggressive, to take hits and give some of your own? It's not like she was going to get much power going behind the hit anyway, no matter how flexible she had to be to get around the edges of the buckler (which would be pressing on to at least some a bit of her upper leg) it wouldn't be as powerful of a regular ol' knee to the face without obstruction. Instead of using his time to dodge, he turn his leg toward his arm and the little protection his buckler might offer such that the blow smacked against the side of his face instead of head-on where it might break a nose or something.

There would be sharp pain to be had, bruising and the like but his head would not be blown back or off, it tucked against his arm nice and snug, so his whole body would shudder a little instead. But before she could go retracting that leg for another shot, Ben would start up that grab as once again. His fingers leaving the whip and hooking into the crack between her thighs and lower legs with an audible smack, it wasn't an a** but it would have to do for now.

Should he pull of his hitch without a hitch, a little pulling with left and pushing with his right would bring them right back down to the floor. Damn, this place needed a bed, mattress or something. Anything that was softer than this floor they kept falling on to.

6/17

71Tei Kae

There was only one small hitch to be had. The buckler would push and down they'd go alright, but that left her right leg with a little more freedom as they both went tumbling to the ground. With his arm occupied still with pressing against her torso...no way he could block...

...kneed nutshot. Up went the knee, straight into the groin. If he was lucky, it wouldn't put him out of commission completely. Besides, where's the fun in that. But she did have a fight to win first.

[7/17]

[/3/12]

72Benjamin Nicolai

"OOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Thank god she was short, so her kick would only clip his sack. But as every guy knows even the clips can ****** you up and have you spasming out on the floor. Both hands would go down to protect his boy's from further attacks, the buckler giving him that extra protection in case she came back with some powered nut shots. Good thing they were already going down, as that kind of st would leave him super open to all the sorts of bad things she may thinking of doing to him.

As it was, they were already on their trip to the ground so his hand's weren't really that needed. And in their absence his screaming mouth would land in their place, falling between her legs into a very awkward position. Add on that the fact that he was spamsing and this foretold both good and bad times from Frenchy. Bad in the sense that she'd probably be as preoccupied as he was and good in the sense of what she was preoccupied with.

7/17

73Tei Kae

Oh man, that was going to hurt...and not in a way either of them would like. For you see...the armor had a sort of...built in chastity belt, made of stab proof composite that was rather hard. And an open mouth falling right on it....Ben would probably have a few broken teeth after that.

Not that Song was doing much better, having knocked the back of her head against the floor again as they landed. With her head ringing, she couldn't even appreciate the humor of where his head had landed in relation to the heavy flirting going on during the round.

But she wasn't going for any more dirty shots. Instead, the one leg not under him would come out, and wrap around his neck, with his face right in her groin, it was perfectly positioned. Her muscled thighs pressed his face further into her groin, while placing his neck in a form of a choke hold while her hands reached forward, and intertwined both of her armored hands together, and slammed them downwards into the back of his head, essentially also pounding his face right back into that composite spot with enough force that it even had her moaning...

...although the debate was whether it was pain or enjoyment...

James would be replying to the doctor, but, he didn't give a s**t after he started watching Benjamin's fight.

He should've known better. Figured that they'd try to ******** each other into unconciousness instead of the usual beating-into-unconciousness that most people did.

God damn Russian and French people.

75Benjamin Nicolai

OH NO! His beautiful smile would chipped and ruined by some sorta of stab resistant meld. Everything he got into a compromising situation, some sorta of weird armor got in the way, keeping things clean. Which was really weird about that armor was that it didn't stop her from wrapping her leg around shield's and whatnot. So this thing must kind of flexibility and some sort of off switch, right? Ben would have to test this.

And an opportunity presented itself fairly early on. Being pressed up against some hard plating was making it hard to breath, a pain which was much more urgent than the diminishing pain in his balls. So he lifted his leg up for moment, all to be sandwiched by legs on either side and shove back down by two hands from the back. Realizing that this could only lead to more face smushing and possibly strangulation, Ben tried to resist and even stuck his tongue to cushion the blow. His emphasis here was not on smacking down hard into the same place again, as he already knew how the story ended and it wasn't pleasant. Hopefully his measure would lead to much less pressure being brought down on that sensative spot and thus much more pleasure for both parties.

Meanwhile his nut pain lessening by the second, his hand were free to move around once more. Already on his knees, he'd move his hands to the floor and begin attempts to bring this shindig to a standing position. Going from his knees to his feet and with Frenchy apparently coming along for the ride, he'd have to manuever his hands beneath her to get a good hold so that he wouldn't break his neck. And for a brief moment he'd just stand there in this strange moment that was way to hot for television.

But all those homosexual fight fans need not worry, they were going to get back to the battle of the sexes pretty damn soon.

76SilentMist

The man's logic was confounding. Did he get it? Sam had used his breather to seal wounds and drastically increase combat efficiency, along with attaining a new weapon to perfectly counter Griff's own equipment set; and what had he done? Well, nothing visible, but it was obviously something. Something to be proud of? Only time would tell.

And time would tell it rather quickly as Griff came in from below. With all that time spent 'charging', the Doctor was expecting some form of powered frontal assault. In anticipation of it, he too crouched and readied his shield for the oncoming weapon, allowing it to come in close before bashing it to his left with a power swing of the shield. This would prevent any sort of armor penetration he may have had hidden from actually coming through, as well as leaving him open for the follow up. A follow up that came not a moment after the parry as his newly formed mace was sent crashing down upon Morivan's skull.

Well, the soldier's surprise attack would work, and it was admittedly impressive. It went without saying that the expression on the Doctor's face turned to shock as he was chain-gunned to the back by an assortment of fine wines, and he could feel the breath leaving his lungs even as he was expelling it to add that little extra martial artist's 'umph' to his attack. However, the man's logic was fundamentally flawed. It was like he hadn't been paying attention to the fight at all, though granted he had been roughed up a bit. Although the attack would certainly catch Sam by surprise, certainly it would hurt like hell and knock the wind out of him, and certainly he would be very upset at the end of all this when he discovered that he had to replace his labcoat again, but in the end bottles didn't generally have much armor piercing powers to perform anything but hampering blunt damage against the iron-like cuirass that still lay beneath the Doctor's clothing.

The mace, however, was a weapon specifically designed to smash through armor, and it was still falling with enough force to crack Griff's skull wide open and knock him unconscious for a good long time.

Meanwhile...

The swordsman was chillaxing nearby by reading the wine labels near him - unconsciously curious on how it would taste...

But not wanting to repeat the same mistakes he did last time, when he mistakened alcoholic beverages for water.

"Hmmm...."

He rubbed his chin in thought, his eyes peering over at the more expensive-looking wines, due to their more...antique looks, if not their highly decorated bottle that was lacerated with carvings and whatnot.

Are alcoholic beverages REALLY that good..?

Song was also strong, so instead of dangling from his neck like some sort of funky Mardi Gras beads, her upper body lifted up with him, keeping a grip now on the back of his head, any shocks not withstanding. Even better, he'd braced his hands beneath her so that he wouldn't break his neck with her weight. Smart guy.

But that also meant his hands were busy.

And that gave Song enough of an opening to use her left hand to yank his face away from the pelvis so she could see into his face and shoot a straight punch with her right hand into his face/nose. And then just as the punch was finishing, the sole of her boot lifted and slammed right back into his spine.

He was going to drop the ball, or rather the girl. And Song prepared for the likely sudden plummet she was about to do.

[9/17]

[3/12]

79Benjamin Nicolai

He was moving his hands when he felt a little tug as his head as she yanked his face away. This is was cool with him seeing as he was done already, he always felt he shouldn't be the only one working in situation. Seems he had been doing a bad job or something because instead of some sort of loving caress, he got a fist to the face. Which was kinda cool, seeing as it was about time they got back to the actual fighting. What was not cool was her target, his pretty face that had already been damaged by some stab-proof plating thingy. Didn't she understand that he needed to keep his face nice for the ladies? You'd think a woman would understand such things.

But neither whether she understood or not, nor whether it was good for him or not matter much since there wasn't much he could do about it. She had his head stuck her legs tight between her legs, so there really wasn't much wiggly room for a dodge of any sort. All he do was brace for impact, as he hands continued to move into a better position on her thighs as he leaned forward and shoved his forehead into the hand's path. The forehead being the hardest part of the head should ensure that she was feeling a bit of the pain as well as lessen some of what he felt by reducing the distance her fist could travel. It wasn't much but it would take some of the edge off as well as initiate his own maneuver.

His maneuver being a move known through the wrestling world as a powerbomb, his legs dropping out as he let gravity and a little crunching of the abdominals bring them back to the ground hard. The point of impact being Frenchy's shoulder/neck area, leaving them once again. This action by itself would reduce the gap between her legs and his back, making any boot stomping a worthless effort. This move would also bring Ben to his knees once again, opening his mind to startling realization that he was turning into nothing more than a common truck-stop whore.

9/17

80Tei Kae

She had an idea where all this was headed. And it wasn't going to be pleasant. But she wasn't given much chance to respond here, now was she. So as he situated himself, she curled her upper body in on its self and as her body was slammed to the ground, she let out an ear piercing scream from the impact. Armor or not, that hurt!!!

But even during that, she didn't stop moving. It'd take both of them some time to recover, but Song didn't have that luxury. So not a second after they landed, she wanted nothing more than to get away from Ben, her knees curled up towards her body, releasing the hold they had on his neck and then slammed the soles of her boots into the top of his shoulder with her entire weight to injure him, push him away, and give her a boost to do a backwards roll away from him.

When she landed, she stood up a good six or more feet away, wobbling on her feet. Mon dieu, that hurt. But she managed to look at him with a cocky self assured grin.

"Придено дальше, мальчик любовника. Обработайте меня славный, и возможно я куплю вас обедающим." Still flirting, and her anger was going up, but it was more at herself than him. At least for now.

Because his brain was busy jumping around in his skull, he didn't have time to ******** with her on the way down. But once they were on the floor and he felt the pressure shoot up from his hands and knees, he was abruptly jolted into the present, which was just in time to hear the tail end of her scream. First moaning, now screaming, it seemed that Benjamin was doing a lot things right this time around.

She might be recovering from the impact for half a second, but he was shaking off the bite of the punch. Chances were he could put his starting headache to the backburner better than she could put her bruised back, but somehow they were both moving at the same time. She was trying that same old kicking the back trick and he was trying that old mount up trick again. Granted he couldn't go into a full mount in this position, but he could move forward up her body in a manner that curling up her body more so helped than hurt him. In fact doing so allowed him to get his shoulders right up into the crease of her knee, putting them once again into another compromising position.

A little something known as "The Folded Deck Chair." Look that one up at home folks, its sure to put some life into your romantic relations. In this position, she really wouldn't be able to move her legs to do any kicking or stomping. All she could really do was move her hips, which would not bode well for her concentration.

"Я уже поел, я на десерт все же," and for them non-Russians, "I already ate, but I'm up for dessert."

The bottles would definitely start shattering upon smashing across the doctors back, glass showering him bit after bit, wine covering the entirety of his back. It was very modern art.

The mace swings downward while Griff draws back. His leg extended as he came to an abrupt stop. Sparks flew as the sword caught the head of the mace. There was no rage in his eyes. Only a weird sort of calm. The DeuxMascus blade keeps the Mace at bay for the time being.

"You're..." He had to keep his mind focused. His thoughts collected, picturing that wine cabinet. He just had to picture just a bit... lower...

POP!

Three more wine bottles, a bit lower this time. Shot with enough force, if the bottle hit, say, an elbow? It'd pop it outta joint. So... what would three do to the base of the spine?

Meanwhile, as Griff's mana would slip and he used the last of it, he would maintain his guard before THRUSTING upward with his foot.

Got all that?

[11/17]

[Griff blocks the mace by pulling his sword back. He spends the last of his mana to send three more bottles of wine, now toward Doc's spine. Lastly, his foot comes out from under him, and Griff attempts to kick Doc in the nards.]

Wanna bet?

Song was now pissed. Talk about compromising positions. He'd get his. As he shoved up the back of her legs, it helped push her back slightly as well. Right into the rack of moonshine. She had no where to go. Her blue eyes glaring at him, her anger was almost palpable...

...no wait...it was palpable....

Uriel‭’‬s Devotion Wrote:

First and foremost is that Song's skin becomes like fire. As if to touch her would literally to be to try and hold onto Fire. This gift carries onto any weapon she holds as well, inflicting an additional Fire damage to anyone touched by her or her weapon. Doubly so to anything of demonic origin. A relation of heat would be approximately that of a low hot forging temperature of 900 Degrees.

Not only that, but both hands went to either side of her and grabbed his wrists, pulling them out from under him, so his face would go right into her boobs once again. Her legs around his face tightened, the entire time feeling like she was burning him by her mere touch. Then using her entire body weight, she twisted her hips, and threw him off to the side.

[11/17]

84Benjamin Nicolai

Ben was by no means resistant to fire but his clothes was. Composed of nomex fibers, his outfits were designed to protect his body from a raging inferno if he so desired to throw himself into one. This was by no means done out of fear of fire elementals but to prevent himself from burning off his clothes every time he sparked up. So when Frenchy throwing her little fiery hissy fit, he wouldn't be as effected as he might have expected. He'd barely feel some warmth against his shoulders, torso, pelvis and wrists but nothing near the kind of heat that would make him shy away. In fact the only thing it did do was provide some comfortable heat to a very sensitive area of his own, increasing blood flow and making this confrontation about at as sexual as it could get while still being PG-13.

She could yank his arms out from underneath him if she wanted to, he wasn't going to really move much as he wasn't keep himself up but rather himself down to pin her legs. So all she'd do is press him down harder against him. This would bring the most vulnerable part of his body closer to the kitchen, which he had to admit was making him sweat from proximity. But he wasn't burning yet, or so he might think. In actuality his face had burning from the start, the fabric around his neck doing nothing to protect cheek bone from heat emanating from her thighs. It was at this point, when he was at the peak of his cockiness that the shock would begin to wear off and he could really feel the burning.

She thought her scream was ear piercing? Psssh, she had nothing on the amount and pitch of noise that were coming out of his bruised vocal cords. She was burning his face! HIS FACE! Did she not understand that he REALLY didn't like when people ******** with his face? Women didn't like crispity crinkly men, she should know that as a woman herself.

So at this point, Ben had abandoned his attempts to hold her down and was focusing on tearing these big ol' thighs off his face. Normally he'd admire such things but there was no time when you had become a human flesh fire. All of his mind power and intentions were focused on that one thing and as such flipping him over was child's play.

But throwing him away was another matter. Ben didn't know what she was planning, and thus he was only intent of getting the burning far away. Having exhausted futile attempt to tug at her legs before/while she toppled them over, he was reduced to using magic to get her away. So as she was tossing, he was charging up his cheeks causing a chain reaction that revealing an ability of his own.

Chaotic Electricity Wrote:

The electricity that his body produces is quite different than that of most electrically endowed characters, as it has a dual nature...if his electricity comes into contact with another energy/power/ki/magic such as a fireball or burst of psychokinetic energy, it will discharge in an explosion. A rapid expansion of electricity and pressure that radiates from his body.

His power would expand from his face, pushing against her form as she released him. Thus the power that was meant to get him out of his torturous prison would instead shove her roughly in the opposite direction. Therefore as he was desperately trying to stop, drop and roll this searing pain away, she'd find herself being roughly acquainted with the racks of moonshine.

The Lamia leaned languidly against one of the racks of wine, watching Kain and his progress with the rubix cube. Snickering to herself every once in a while at the back-and-forth banter in Русско. Her gaze finally wandered from the colourful cube which had her team mate so absorbed and those sapphire orbs came to rest upon the figure of James. Viviana's lips twisted into a smirk,

"Excusez-moi" Vivi called out. Her lips split into a grin and she grabbed a heavybased bottle of wine from the rack she was leaning against, her right hand gripping it by its neck. She sauntered toward him as if she didn't have a care in the world, coming to a stop barely 5 feet away.

"I think this 'as your name on it." And with those words, and a bit of a chuckle, Viviana swung the wine bottle out towards James' face. Aiming to clock him in his left temple with the base of it.

James was actually still face-palming at how Benjamin seemed to be humping Song into victory when the other French woman approached him.

She was offering him wine? That was nice, James knew he was pretty good-looking but he wanted to fight Kain and he didn't mix alcohol and wor- OHSHI.

SMASH.

-Blinkblink-

Had the girl been watching anything? Ben had clubbed James upside the head with a bottle earlier, and the thing barely fazed him. He did back away though, and held his right hand to his head, blood oozing onto the cold metal gauntlet.

"But, do you know my name, darlin'?" he replied softly, only the glint in his eye gave away how dangerous he was at the moment.

One free hit. That was all she was getting.

Red wine and glass tumbled to the floor. Viviana glanced at the neck of the broken bottle, and then with a hap-hazard shrug tossed it over her shoulder.

The fingers of her right hand wrapped themselves about the hilt of her sabre, and in one fluid motion she drew it from its sheath.

"Ah, but of course I do, James." She replied with a charming smile, "I 'eard the good Doctor screaming it as I arrived." Blade held aloft, Viviana took a half step back and cocked her head to the left,

"The real question is, do you know mine, cherie?" Another husky chuckle parted her crimson lips, and then with the grace and poise one comes to expect from a fencer, the Lamia dropped into a low lunge, thrusting with her sabre's point at the mans lower right abdomen.

From above, a crash, the loosening of dust, then splinters of wood and eventually, two big bodies and an equally big sword. Athan was the first to come down, having since lost his grip on Urarha and weighing twice as much as the guy, he wasn't wasting any time in introducing himself to Joseph Brown's wine cellar.

He didn't make it all the way down to the floor, and to make it worse he was falling while staring up at the ceiling of the Foyer. At least, if he actually bothered to open his eyes. It was all he could to keep himself breathing, a labored effort considering how his nose was basically just flattened up against his face and his mouth was filled with blood.

It was the shock of impact that jolted Athan back into the real world. He hit a cask of wine, smashed through it like tissue paper, spraying liquor everywhere before he crashed through a shelf, through another two casks of wine, and eventually smashed into the ground rather unceremoniously. Athan's nervous system screamed in protest to the punishment he was putting himself through, and as a result Athan opened his mouth and arched his back to scream along with it. He didn't get much out, though, just a lot of blood.

He slumped back, his left leg bending at the knee as he tried to summon up the strength to get himself moving again.

LOOK OUT BELOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

With his feeble attempts to grab hold of something before they fell through the floor and the fact that Athan fell faster, they would separate before coming down through the hole. He would land on top of one of the racks of alcohol, his right shoulder hitting the wooden frame with a rather sickening CRUNCH!!! His face distorting with pain as the air was forced from his lungs, he rolled off the rack and landed not to far away from Athan in a painful thump as he groaned his pain out loud.

Standing up slowly and hunching overas his eyes watched Athan struggle to get up, he would glance down at the built in meter on his gauntlets as his arms rested on his knees and saw how much power he had left. Removing the gauntlet from his hand, he would toss it aside knowing that it was no longer of any use to him. His gaze shifting back to Athan again, he would smile as he gave the man time to get to his feet. "Ready?" He would ask as he straighten out his back and balled up his fist as his arms hung loosely at his sides.

The stinging in the side of his head wasn't getting any better, alcohol did much to ******** with open wounds and there were a few small ones on his temple now thanks to the cheap hit.

As Vivi lunged in, James simply brought his right hand down and batted the saber away, while circling her at a relatively safe distance. To him, the girl was nothing but a grunt. Cannon fodder, to say the least. He kinda felt sorry for her, really, but she had to go ahead and hit him, which made her the target of his wrath.

"I doubt you'd have been that memorable anyway" he'd finally retort, after sizing up her threat potential.

He held two fingers on his right hand together up to his face and simply started to walk toward her, on the balls of his feet.

Assuming she did nothing to stop him, he'd grab her by the neck with his right hand and chokeslam her before tossing her up into the interior via the giant hole.

Athan flinched, his muscles spasmed again, and he felt that his muscles were on fire. Twice he had been electrocuted, and twice it felt as if his skin was going to be ripped apart from the severe contractions. It was the first time his muscle density had been used against him, and it was impossible to think that he had it in him to get back up. Not after a beating like he had taken. He should just lay down, get it over with.

Athan's left hand tightened on the hilt of his sword, and he hissed through his teeth as he sat up, then pushed himself up to a knee, then tried to stand up. He didn't make it very far, and almost immediately collapsed to a knee. It was only thanks to his sword that he was able to keep himself from falling flat on his face.

"Ready?"

He looked like hell. But he was on his feet, if only because he had a heavy sword acting as a crutch. It wasn't so much the fact that he had the will to stand, that much was to be expected of Athan. But how his body could keep going, that was a mystery. There was one thing certain, though. He wasn't going to be lifting that slab of metal for the rest of the day.

"What? Still time left?"

Athan cast a quick look down to his FIGHTER, and managed to crack a half smile through bloodstained teeth.

"Well I'll be damned."

Viviana simply smirked as he batted her sabre away, this guy was sore. If he felt sorry for her, the feeling was quite mutual. She felt sorry for him because he seemed so serious.

"Oh James, you should lighten up a little ne?" She snickered, "After all, good wine never 'urt anyone."

As he moved forward, extending his right hand for her neck, Viviana would use her left hand to grab a hold of his wrist. Her grip was nothing to laugh about. If he wanted to come close to her, then why not? The Lamia aimed the point of her sword at the mans stomach and then thrust forward while simultaneously using her grip on his wrist to tug him toward her. Effectively trying to pull him onto her blade.

"Unfortunately yeah." He winced as he flexed the muscle in his right arm, the pain unbearable. But he pushed off covering the distance between them quickly as his legs remained uninjured. Planting with his right foot, his torso would whip around as the muscles in his legs tensed, his face distorting between pain and anger as he aimed a left straight down the pipe. Might as well flatten Athan's nose more if he could.

The time for dodging was well beyond gone at this point. Athan took the punch straight on, and he was rocked down to his foundation. He took a shoddy step backwards, let his sword topple to the ground, and barely caught himself on a nearby shelf. Of course, that shelf caved, and Athan dropped to a single knee.

His eyes widened as he tried to clear out some of the cobwebs, but it was more or less a lost cause. There wasn't enough time to gather his wits, but there was just enough left for him to go out swingin'.

Get up.

"GYAAAAAAH!"

Athan straightened his legs, got up to a standing position, and turned his body at his hips, going from right to left, and threw a hard left hook square for Urarha's jaw. At least, hard for a normal person. Athan wasn't throwing with the strength that he had been known to use, but a weak punch from Athan was going to be harder than most other people could hope to throw in their lives.

As James closed, he twisted his body, turning his left side in. Vivi's saber would cut a deep gash into his gut, through the clothes, even with his left hand aiding by deflecting it slightly. Armored gloves did wonders for James's ability against swords.

Evil grin. She was too close now for her own good, as his left hand quickly clamped down on her sword-hand, too close for Vivi to do anything really, and he'd simply overpower her at this range, pretty easily too, unless Vivi had superhuman strength.

The setup was easy enough, James gritted his teeth as blood trickled down his side, and he just, smoothly slid behind her.

Her grip on his wrist be damned, James brought in his right arm and started to choke her with it.

Muah. He kissed her lightly on her left cheek, and whispered into her ear. "You aren't that good"

The two of them would be in an upright position, with him pressed up behind her, choking her with a single arm and restraining her from any major movement.

WHOMP!!!

His world blackened for a second as he hadn't expected Athan to actually hit back. That ringing sound in his head let him know that he had caught a good one and was actually not on the defense for it. The hit brought the inside of his mouth against his teeth and the cooper tasting liquid poured onto his tongue. His knees buckling from the hit and his torso spun in the direction he got hit as he tried to right his stance, he would catch himself as he moved his right foot outwards and widen his stance.

What the hell did he hit with me?

He didn't have time to dwell on for long as he pushed off, his torso coming back around as he whipped a right hook of his own. He wasn't going to go down without a fight... and if Athan hit him like that over and over again, he was definitely going down.

The blast knocked her away, but she couldn't help but think as the body suit that was over the armor was scorched....

Finally!

Only to be shoved into, and right back into the racks of moonshine. Thank the heavens that unlike what most people thought, they weren't instantly combustible. And so her head got knocked around a little more as it banged against the racks and she pushed herself to a sitting position.

"Милочка, если вы полюбили оно грубо, то вы только должны сказать так…" Or for the uninformed 'Darling, if you liked it rough, you only had to say so'. Fumbling around she reached for one of the bottles of moonshine, and brandished it threateningly as she slowly stood, not realizing that the bottle was slightly melting in her grip(some glass melts at 900F which is what her body is currently projecting), although it was by no means immediate.

And then she did something rather unexpected. She threw the bottle at him while he writhed on the floor, the weakened bottle neck making it easy to shatter even if it didn't hit him that hard; thereby soaking him with the flammable liquid.

The Lamia's eyes narrowed. It wasn't his grasping of her sword arm, or the grapple he'd just initiated that infuriated Viviana. No. It was just that peck on the cheek. (James was also unfortunate in that this wasn't the first time in recent days that a man had just taken it upon himself to bestow a kiss upon Vivi. And truth be told, she was still pretty sore about the previous incident.)

"Hommes." She growled under her breath, "You 'ave got some nerve, James."

Quote:

Serpents grace; Like a serpent, Viviana can twist and turn her body in almost any way imaginable. Because she moves her muscles using the same undulatory locomotion as a snake, unlike a normal human’s anatomy, Viviana’s skeleton is made up of hundreds of tiny vertebrae and riblike bones which in turn are connected to hundreds of intricate sets of muscles.

Just like a snakes, these bones are not rigid, but flexible and can easily dislocate to allow Viviana to move her body as desired. This dislocation is not the same as when a human dislocates their knee, but more of relocation just like a rock python can dislocate its jaws wide enough to swallow an antelope without actually harming itself, this same principle applies to Viviana’s manoeuvring of her body.

So as James whispered his words into the French woman's ear, Viviana turned her head to the right. Practically 180 degree's to her right that is. (It's not difficult for a snake to do the twist after all.) If her opponent had ever watched the exorcist, no doubt he'd get a chill up his spine as he watched the Lamia's neck move. Her lips peeled back in a snarl and the tips of those two fangs glistened, luckily for James poison wasn't allowed in HoH so Viviana was keeping her venom in check. Didn't stop her from trying to snap at his jugular though. Unless he disengaged himself and moved away, Viviana's jaws would close around his neck like a vice.

She wasn't much of a kisser really. But lord, could she give a nasty love bite.

Though this actually did nothing to aid him get rid of his pain, he had to try something to stop his beautiful face from burning. Thus when the well aimed bottle cracked against his back, and spilled the liquor everywhere, he was already rolling the other way with a soaked shirt that was embedded with shards of glass. Thankfully he wore a stab-resistant vest over his torso and thus the glass wouldn't get down to his skin.

His pain was becoming more manageable so he group his rolling to stop, and stood up against the wall. He took a second to glance at the liquid flowing down into his pants and the puddle of alcohol and broken glass on the floor. Then he turned his gaze back to Frenchy, a fire alight behind his eyes.

Cue, the "********" motion.

He first let go of her and shoved her away roughly, tacking on a small punt right in the a** for good measure. She hadn't managed to bite him, but he swore he could've almost felt it anyway, rubbing his neck slightly.

First things first though, he decided. James once again put on a rather impassive face, and held up his left hand, and ignited it, with an incredibly hot bluish white flame. The flame quickly focused and coalesced itself into something akin to a blowtorch. Though small and limited to one hand, the energy there was well beyond that of any other he produced so far in this tournament in terms of raw power. If he hit Vivi with it, it'd likely just vaporize her, even his hand was trembling ever so slightly with manifesting it.

And then he applied it to his open wound, instantly cauterizing it. It'd become perfectly clear to most people by now. Like most flame-orientated beings, the metahuman James Eredas had tremendous resistance to heat and fire. Only, at such a tremendous level of power was he able to actually burn himself and close the injury shut.

A hiss sounded at the back of Viviana's throat as James pushed her away and his fist made contact with her derriere. How rude, the Lamia wasn't about to just stand around and watch his little fireworks display though. As soon as he brought his finger to the open wound on his stomach, she made her move.

Quote: Swift strike; Viviana can close a distance of between 5 and 20 feet with amazing speed. Like the lunge of a snake. She usually uses this short distance charge attack in conjunction with her bite attack or her Gorgon’s grasp

Like lightning, she charged at him, taking that precious moment where he was preoccupied and using it against him. As he looked up to give Viviana that smug and sinister smile, the Lamia was already upon him. Her slender fingers encircling both of his wrists and twisting them so that his palms faced downwards.

Quote:

Gorgon Grasp; When Viviana makes a physical touch attack with more than one limb she can encase the person in stone (Limestone of a thickness of 3 inches) for a short period of time (Length of 1 post). Depending on the fortitude of her opponent, this can either outright immobilize them, or slow them (to something akin to half their usual movement speed. Point is, you're in stone, it's heavy and cumbersome). If she manages to deal severe damage to the stone statue, such as cracking it, or breaking off part of it, this damage is sustained to the persons flesh after the stone casing disappears. (This does not mean that they lose a limb for example, just that the amount of physical damage sustained to the limb would be comparable to the amount of damage inflicted upon the stone. So she breaks a stone arm off, that means that the flesh arm of the individual would have suffered a break)

"Démarreur de feu eh?" She asked, with a wicked grin of her own.

Vivi might've immobilized his left wrist for a moment, but she'd find the spell somewhat repelled by the ancient gauntlet he wore on his right hand. And she'd find out in a very unappealing manner.

Having just earned a couple of MANLY points for actually burning himself to stop the bleeding, charring his clothes and leaving a trail of destroyed flesh alongside his abdomen, James was more then ready to take her out, crazy flexibility and gorgon-like abilities be damned.

He started with the simple things. He twisted his right hand out and slugged her straight in the gut to knock the wind out of her.

"English"

Followed up closely with a head-butt to her face.

"Please", he finished his request.

It wouldn't be over yet though, not by far. Even though his right side was relatively fine, his entire left arm was covered in rock, and the state of petrification was rapidly encroaching onto his neck and lower body.

Nothing but deadweight. James found attempting to move his left side extremely hard. The stone cracked and shuddered, but it just wouldn't give yet.

"Grrr"

The annoyance in his voice was evident. He didn't appreciate the woman's tricks and he was about to do something about it.

The Lamia frowned, it seemed that for whatever reason, this James fellow had some degree of immunity to her ability, her top lip quivered angrily. He twisted his right wrist out of her grasp, and her fingers simply let go of his left, after all, the effects of her Gorgon grasp were already in play.

His punch to her gut was a little unexpected and, judging by the muffled Umph, it certainly did cause her some discomfort. Still, by the time he followed up with his headbutt, Viviana had already taken a step back, the severity of that foolhardy attack was just his hair tickling at her nose.

"Je ne fais pas tout comme la langue des barbares" She replied in a tone that was nothing short of scathing. Obviously she wasn't bothered about whether or not James could understand her. But it was clearly evident to anyone watching that her opponent's attitude was causing the Lamia's anger to boil over. Especially judging by what she did next.

Quote:

Shedding skin; If Viviana has sustained a fair amount of damage, or has been enraged in anyway, she will regress to her natural hybrid form. In this form Viviana's strength and speed is increased by about 3 fold. (Making her strong as about 3 heavyweight fighters and as fast as an Olympic sprinter on speed (An Olympic sprinter averages 200m in 20 seconds, Viviana could do 200m in 17.5 seconds in this form.)

In this form Vivi’s lower body takes on the same colouring and appearance as an Asp, and her fangs become much more prominent. Her upper body up to her collarbone also becomes covered in the bronze mottled scales of an Asp, however it still retains her humanlike features but with a more serpentine twist. Her irises change to a golden hue, her tongue becomes forked, and her brow and cheek bones become even more prominent. In this form Viviana’s height reaches 6’11” and her weight is increased to about 750 lb

A guttral hiss sounded in the back of the Lamia's throat and she snapped her newly transformed tail out at James' vulnerable left side. Ideally, she wanted to cause the cocky young man to lose his balance and fall prone, but even if she just cracked his stone limbs and caused his body damage that way it was, in her opinion, good enough.

Yes, now Viviana was angry. (She hadn't believed his follow up 'please' was sincere for a second.)

If James's eyebrows could've gone any higher as he witnessed the transformation, they would've disappeared into his hair.

At any rate, this time, he DID have time to say what was on his mind.

"s**t"

A WHACK and a THUD later, accompanied by a dull groan, James having been knocked a few feet back, the left side of his body all sore and aching. It wasn't like he didn't try to get out of the way, it was just that he simply couldn't. On the plus side, it looked as if inbetween him attempting to flex and break out of the stone, and Vivi "helping" him by smacking him with her tail, the limestone shell shattered and James regained use of his body again. To say that he underestimated her at the beginning of the fight was pretty accurate.

The stubborn martial artist picked himself off the ground with gusto, (he had been through worse, after all), clutching his numb left arm, muttering a few words to her in HIS native tongue.

"... asobi wa owari da..." or for those who can't read Japanese, "... playtime is over"

Then he dashed at her, his right hand held loosely at chest level near his jacket, and his left hand once again infront of him, a glimmer of flame arching from thumb to fingertip, hinting what was to come.

Of course, James was more then just a brawler. The demon-slayer was as crafty as they came, and unfortuanately for Vivi, the ascension of her form to that of a Naga boded very poorly for James's restraint in dealing with her. What he originally thought was an ordinary grunt now suddenly escalated into the threat level of "It ain't human. Kill it with fire."

He thought she was a naga!? Thank goodness he didn't VOICE that! There was nothing the Lamia hated more than being compared with one of her Oriental cousins. (Except maybe uninvited kisses.) She was a bonafide European after all!

She watched with a satisfied smirk as he charged toward her,

"Nihon jin desu ka?" She retorted in his native tongue, "Kyoumibukai." (It was true, the eastern language sounded a little strange leaving the lips of a French speaker.)

Almost lazily she flicked her tail out towards his left foot, the scaly appendage attempting to wrap itself around his ankle. Viviana Merquise was certainly used to being underestimated. It was after all, an almost daily occurence. People just don't take you seriously when you're only Five feet, two inches.

If Vivi's tail managed to get a hold on James' ankle, he'd soon find himself reaching the Lamia a lot quicker. Viviana was eager to give the sombre young man a hug.

A block from an over-extended, outside position.. impressive. It seemed the soldier had some strength after all. The wine, however, now that was annoying. His coat was already ruined, so a bit of stains wouldn't change anything, but six bottles was a good bit of wine and the amount soaking through to his pants, well... that just wouldn't do.

"Go ahead..." he responded, his tone surprisingly even for the rasping breath being drawn in at the time. Air was an important commodity at the moment, and he was about to finish his sentence as soon as he got enough of it, when suddenly-

POP!

Now that was a familiar sound. However, get caught by the same trick twice? Nah, he would have to pass on this one. Griff had failed to capitalize on his element of surprise and now he had given the Doctor an opportunity to both understand and calculate a counter to his technique. Further backstabbing and nad kicking was suspended until further notice; please show your paperwork and proof of insurance on your way out.

Swiftly, his right leg shot forward and to the left as he strode in a 10:00 direction, keeping pressure on the mace all the while. The speed of the bottles made his move perform 'at the last second', as it were, despite the fact that he had reacted in the .3 seconds of hearing the pop. He could even feel one of the bottles catch against his soaking coat and ping uncomfortably against his side before getting tossed away by physics, rolling harmlessly across the floor. The other two bottles, on the other hand, would have a very clear shot at the grounded airbender; talk about a taste of your own medicine.

It was also a pleasant, calculated 'coincidence' that the shin of his rapidly moving right leg would Muay Thai check the oncoming kick, bashing the extended appendage to the side and likely throwing Griff off-balance.

"Show me your ignorance."

Balance enough for Sam to perform his own follow-up. Sliding his left leg around to end the stride, he twisted his body hard, back to face Morivan directly again. This was accented by a powerful left hook aimed straight at the man's face. The shield's edge wasn't terribly sharp, but it was still edged enough to dig in with the heavy impact and return the favor for the daggers to his own face. At the same time he also let up pressure on the mace, bringing it back up slightly with a flick of his wrist; it was a lose-lose for the soldier. If he moved his sword to intercept the shield like anyone's natural reaction would be he would be whiplash-cracked by the deadly mace to the left side of his skull; if he continued blocking the mace he would be reeling with a much harder impact, likely seeing stars for days.

Athan didn't bother trying to recover from his current standing, he just leaned forward into the oncoming hook, because he didn't have enough wherewithall to just get out of the way. His eyes widened just before impact, and the only thing he could do was hope that his sheer mass was going to end up keeping him on his feet.

The fist hit Athan square on the jaw, shooting his head back to the left. He heard a crack as one of his false teeth was basically shattered inside of his mouth. His jaw was temporarily unhinged, where the only thing that kept it from remaining unhinged was a reflex-induced groan caused it to snap back into place with an audible POP.

Athan started to topple over, wobbling on one leg as his right crossed over his left. It wasn't until he was leaning halfway over to his side that he suddenly snapped back to reality, stomped down his right foot, and fired right back at Urarha with another left hook.

There wasn't much room for cute stuff, Athan's focus was solely on keeping himself upright. If that meant knocking Urarha's head clean off his shoulders, then he was going to do it.

[16/17]

((Ben, both the fights in our match technically started at the same time...so...whoever's fighting first, I guess?))

It's coming....

The man was stubborn to say the least as the punch Urarha delivered kept the man from going down completely, Urarha's own torso righting again as he centered himself. He knew that Athan wasn't gonna down and come back with something just as powerful as he steeled himself waiting for the blow.

As Athan's punch come through the air, Urarha would start shifting his torso and hips to the right, his face turning in the same direction as he took a lot of the power off the blow, his jaw still clacking as the punch connected. But in the process of all the turning he did, his own right would snake over behind Athan's punch as he aimed a right straight at the temple of the man. Regardless of how hard the punch landed.. if at all, Urarha would stumble away from Athan and crash into another rack as he knocked a few bottles loose to the ground with a resounding crash.

-16-

109Designated Hero

And Athan's face went straight into the punch, a knuckle catching him just above the eye and splitting his head open right there. The punches were almost simultaneous, because as Urarha went flying backwards, Athan just flopped over onto his back, desparately grabbing at air as he went down.

He caught nothing, and landed rather roughly in a puddle of his own blood and cheap wine. Athan's breathing was ragged, the ceiling overhead looked like it was in a constant spin, and he felt like he wanted to throw up.

What he didn't want to do, however, was stand up.

Athan did the next best thing in rolling over to his right side and propping himself up with an elbow just so he could get a good look at wherever his opponent had landed. His muscles were still occasionally spasming from the electric shock he had taken, which made the poor guy look like he had a perpetual case of cold spasms.

"Still alive?"

James cringed, mentally.

She can speak his language too? Madre de dios. He might have to invest in Rosetta Stone or something after the tournament and learn some new.

Besides, Naga, Gorgon, or Lamia aside, they were all snake-people-thingies to James, so, it didn't make that much of a difference in the short run.

Like a watchful crane, or stork, or kingfisher, or, ******** it, some sort of fish-eating bird, James went to the ground in a sudden blur, intercepting Vivi's tail. On her end, she'd be in a good deal of pain, as it'd be revealed that the demon-slayer handily unsheathed his combat knife from its holster in the jacket and rammed all 7 inches of it into her tail and then some. To top it off, James cupped his left hand over his right and forced the entire weapon through, scales and resistance be damned, in essence staking Vivi to the ground. It wasn't very solid, it wasn't very effective, and it definately wouldn't last long, but any time brought was to James's great advantage.

Though, he paused for a moment after the staking, not bothering to get any closer. She was still agile, and the thought had occured to James that she could still coil about him if he was close enough and attempt to crush him.

James raised from his hunched position slightly, and drew his left hand back, flames beginning to flicker back to life on it. His right was still ontop of the tail, for what good it'd do him to help control her freedom of movement.

To say that his combat knife wouldn't hold the Lamia for long was very accurate. She snapped her tail upwards, dislodging the knife and sending both it, and James' hand skyward. (The man could try to hold on to it if he wanted, but that was really a bit foolhardy.)

"You are a very brash man, James." Viviana spoke, a sinister chuckle following her words. The Lamia was even faster in her hybrid form than she was on two feet, so she used her swift strike move once more, this time however, she didn't only close the distance between her and the fire wielding fellow, she circled behind him. It was a blink-and-you'd-miss-it sort of movement, the vast majority of her tail still lay in front of James, but her upper torso was now behind him.

"Now then, 'ow about I pay you back for that little kiss from before eh?" She hissed in his ear, grabbing at both of his shoulders with her hands, while simultaneously coiling that serpent tail about his feet, legs and waist.

James wanted to be very fast and very slippery to get away from a snake like Viviana.

The force of Athan's punch mixed in whit Urarha's stumbling lead him into the wine, his left hand shooting out for something to grab onto to.... he found nothing. Pain rushed through his left side after he slammed into the wine rack, his ribs cracking. He hacked a bit, coughed and spit. Out came what seemed to be a molar and a lot of blood. Looking down at the mess he made on the ground he would feel a cold chill run down his spine.

Jeez if he caused that much damage from just a few punches, he could have cold killed me if he landed any more.

Running his tongue over his busted lip as he straighten up his body, he would give Athan a painful smile as he hobbled his way over to the man. "About as alive as one can be after getting kicked in the head by a horse." Holding out his right hand, he would offer to help Athan to his feet as his FIGHTer beeped loudly and signified the end of the fight.

Athan rolled back over onto his back once he came to the realization that there wasn't a wine cask or bottle flying at his head. He sure as hell didn't expect the guy to get up and walk on over to him and offer a hand up.

Athan just sort of stared at the hand with the one eye of his that wasn't swollen like a peach, and, after a short moment of hesitation, took the hand with his left and did his best to help carry his own weight.

"Thanks."

The resulting headrush from standing up almost floored the big guy again, but he was able to stabilize himself and bend over, tucking his head between his knees.

"I think..."

Both hands on the insides of his knees, Athan held back the urge to vomit.

"...I'm gonna need a doctor."

On the outside he didn't look as bad as he actually felt. Sure, his face was swollen and his mouth was bloodied, but it was the head trauma that was the biggest deal. His color vision was fading, and the constant ringing in his ears was almost deafening.

"The hell was with those arms of yours?"

"Женщина, Вы только пошли и потратили впустую некоторую хорошую фантазию. Что трахание является неправильным с Вами?" <"Woman, you just went and wasted some good moonshine. What the ******** is wrong with you?">

As seeing his pants soaked, her own vengeful anger faded...and Song couldn't help but laugh, even as he charged forward, intent on harming her person. If he thought she was quick before, now he was in for a world of surprise.

[8/17]

His hand started to fly up, and then, it abruptly came back down again as James brought his other hand back into play by slamming it down into the twitching tail, through the hole that was first created by the knife stab. Stabbing into her in such an action allowed James to muscle down Vivi with both arms, well, atleast that small portion of her body.

And then as both hands dug further into the ragged and gaping wound, causing Vivi considerable pain, it seemed as if...

"Guh! RAAAGGGHHH!"

The demon-slayer would have never used this technique on a normal opponent.

With a mighty, bloodthirsty roar, Vivi's lower body would be nothing short of annihilated as James rent her in two, sheer muscle power fueled by rage and lent additional power by a large blast of his sacred flames, practically blowing her up from within.

Nearly everything around them was painted red. Crimson copiously sprayed out of his own mouth as well, suggesting at the horrific internal damage James dealt to himself to draw out enough power to perform this move. It was the same ability he used in his very first round against Ebris, the Bloody Roar. James, instead of focusing the flame energy about him, he concentrated it inward and vastly empowered himself. It was like a firecracker inside a jar, intense, short bursts of overwhelming power, inflicting heavy damage on himself in the process. His muscles were puce in color, a few capillaries having bursted, and he had bruises all over. The painful soreness in his muscles was now a familiar feeling however, as James got used to being a Dark Knight and harming himself.

Should Vivi try to crush him now, she'd find him easy prey, with very little in the way of actual energy and stamina to resist immediately after performing such an incredibly powerful attack. James wouldn't think she'd have the ability to react after having her lower body torn in two though. There woulud be incredible blood-loss, some of it being stemmed by James's flames cauterizing the flesh. The very nature of her body would likely allow her to survive, it'd be fortunate (or was it planned?) that it'd be her tail end that was so brutally shredded, instead of her midsection or upper body.

At any rate, Vivi would understand the meaning of true pain. Come to think of it, James would probably ponder what she'd look like if she tried to shift back into human form with those extensive injuries.

Damn this girl sucked at chicken!

The point of the game was too try and collide with the other person, not veer off before they even got started. What had she never plated this game as a kid or something? Well he wasn't going to have that, not at all. Ben would try to chase after her but not knowing that she intended to drop to floor once more, he'd end up falling straight into her dropkick-trip thingy. A feat which would send him flying through the air and would probably would have forced him to before some sort of handstand-esque maneuver to keep himself from face planting. Thankfully, such a trick was not necessary, although he would've had no problem in doing so .

You see, there was a pole in the middle of the room and had always been but just about everyone had been avoiding until now. Having set off from different ends of the room, this pole would have been their likely meeting place had they been moving at the same speed. However they had not, since Frenchy decided to turn up the grace, so they would meet somewhere behind said pole (from Ben's point of view). And his lunge would bring him closer to the middle of room, such that when all was said and done the kick would send him hurtling towards the pole.

Not one to let such a change go by, especially not when she had agitated him enough to do more than just feel her up, Ben would grasp the pole firmly in both hands and let his momentum swing him around full circle. At which point he'd promptly release the pole and sending himself feet first into Frenchy's back or chest depending on how she decided to pushed herself back onto her feet.

He wondered for a brief second should he be concerned and go find one. Then he realized he didn't know where to look to find a doctor.

Griff's eyes flew open as his leg was caught and yanked from beneath him, blasting wide as he began to fall. His left side was bombarded by bottles, the first shattering his armor, the second penetrating his flesh with the velocity of a car, shattering inside his ribs. In his attempt to foolhartedly defend against the flip, he would find himself ripping his own leg from socket, a loud and wet squelching noise sounding off as the his veins erupted, spraying onto the doctor.

He would turn his head just in time to see the oncoming blade of the shield, which he would, in vein, attempt to block. He misjudged. His wrist and throat were sliced and he managed to spin his head around in a most unnatural way, just in time to see his face get beaned in with a mace. His eyes bulged from their sockets, and he would gurgle as he fell backward. DeuxMascus tumbled to the floor and the soldier gurgled with a sickening tone.

"Megh...digkle?"

SLAM.

The convulsions began quickly. his eyes would have rolled up, were they still in his skull. There was so much blood. The folks at home would probably be picking up their phones and suing as we speak. That is, after they were done puking or watching the man gurgling and contorting until he sputtered and slowly died.

...

Wait.

Wait a second.

No...

No...

Griff was kneeling.

Oh, that's right. He was on the ground, on his knees.

That's right.

Griff was on the ground. When he went to stab, he hit his knees and went into a power slide. And so he was below the enemy to begin with. He'd had to have leaned back some more to kick the Doctor in the guilded tallywhacker. So when the doc would judo his foot and spin, he wouldn't knock Griff off balance. His center of gravity was already on the floor. All he'd do is sling Griff to the side. Meaning his whole intention for slashing at Griff's face was missed, and the DeuxMascus would be whipped out from under the mace, making both carreen for the floor.

Griff's attempt was unglorious. Having been whipped aside, he'd get his foot free from this shabby b*****d and quickly back up, sliding at quite a click. Tossing his sword behind him, he'd grasp at his knives, attempting a blont and direct throw for the Doc's face all the while.

But she wasn't pushing herself to her feet, she was more sliding around and then pushing off on her feet. With the intent of going right back after him. Thinking of how a baseball player will 'almost' slide into a base and then simply round off before heading to the next base.

Not only that, but once you're in the air, it's really, really, hard to change anything about your positioning, unless you have wings, or some type of levitation. She also had time to see exactly what he was doing, what with the nice little speed boost going on, and simply...step out of the way, letting him land awkwardly as all hell into a rack of wine that wasn't too far behind her unless he came up with some miracle way out. Sure, it was cheap, but she had a pretty face to think of after all.

Everything went according to plan, for the most part. There were only a few odd things about this scene. The man misjudged? That seemed uncharacteristic of the acrobat. A shield smashed in vertically managed to slice a wrist and neck? Now that wasn't something you saw every day... at least not without seeing the victim's head smashed clean off. It was almost as if...

Wait.

No...

This was all becoming far too cliche.

A thought that was seeping throughout the entire battlefield.

The Wine Cellar had a semblance of sanity crash into it, but it was fleeting, and of two entirely different teams.

Something's wrong here.

Back to reality!

Griff was on the ground. That one fact made everything okay, right? After all, there was no way his position was a factor in the assault... but wait... didn't projectiles aimed at a person's lower back generally stay at the chest level of the person on their knees right in front of him? Especially considering the Doctor was already crouched in order to parry a sword away from his gut. That must have been one mighty kick to create such an updraft. Oh, and speaking of mighty kicks, friction decided to take a holiday, it seemed, as Sam's shin colliding with the man's leg caused him to slide despite his own realization of the fact that he had a low center of gravity and a whole other knee/leg on the ground. So he would be whipped to the side by some fifth limb the Doctor didn't actually possess.

Fortunately, all was not lost. Sam was still in a forward crouch with his left arm extended from his swishy hook, so all he needed to do when he saw daggers emerge from his physics-defying opponent was pull his arm back a little to place the shield in front of his face. After a few tings he would keep the corner open and angled so he could see Morivan while quickly closing the gap, the majority of his visage still blocked by the shield. When said gap was closed he would swing his right arm in for another mace-bash aimed, once again, for the side of Griff's skull. To the cautious eye, however, one would notice the haft shimmering a few inches below the frilly spikes of the head, almost as if it was liquefying... again.

Put some shorts on him and call him Shaq cause our boy Benji was gonna make a rebound (or rather he would rebound) off the wall and be sent careening right back into Frenchy.

Sure, he was gonna crash awkwardly into the wine racks but he had some sturdy boots on and they could handle whatever punishment broken class could dish out. But just to be on the safe side he'd let out a very small chaotic discharge just before the moment of impact to pave the way for his feet and slow him down a itsy witsy bit. A little bending of the knees would serve to store the rest of his momentum as potential energy, energy that would then be converted back into momentum as he pushed off the wall before gravity could get a good hold. He'd be sent careening fists first towards Frenchy to give her a good clock to the chest via right hook.

If it looked like she was just gonna sidestep him again, then he'd just spread his arms and try to clothesline her. All while the rack he'd been resting on/in would be collapsing in the background, wasting even more alcohol. Damn, he was even starting to get mad at himself now.

14/17

122Tei Kae

Nah, no side stepping this time. Instead, she tried something she'd done before, hopefully, the result would be better. She was ready for some type of retaliation, but he was almost too quick on his feet. Which is why she resorted to the tried and true. Even if in HoH, it wasn't quite so much so.

He came forward, she reached for his fist that was flying at her, also grabbing his arm with the other hand, and pivoted around to where his front was at her back and braced her footing, and sent him sailing further over her head, possibly straight back into the pole. I wonder how long they could play keep the monke Ben in the air....

[15/17]

[9/12]

123Benjamin Nicolai

The right hook was one and as it was grabbed out of the air his left fist shot out for a left jab in what was supposed to be a 1-2. Ben never really was good at remembering such things so he couldn't be sure if this was how everyone else did their 1-2s but this was how he did his. However when she decided to grab his first arm with her other arm, he had to change his plan up.

For at that point Ben pretty much knew what was coming. He had tusseled with his Captain several times and if anyone knew James style of fighting, he really liked to toss people around. And Benjamin over time grew to hate such types of maneuvers (when they were used on him anyway). So his closed left fist would open up midflight to secure a hold on his opponent. His original trajectory had been a chest shot, but with all this grabbing and turning, he'd end up grabbing her around her left shoulder.

So continuing her throw be be pretty hard at this point with him hanging from her back like a little kid on his mommy. At this point or a second later, his legs would also catch up with the rest of his body and he'd put them to good use by wrapping around her own such that his thighs were over hers. Should she attempt to make this fallacy of throw work, she'd just send them to the ground with Ben on top once again. If she tried to bear his weight, she'd end up stumbling into the pole before them. And if she couldn't make up her mind, he'd pelvic thrust her into the pole himself, pulling back on three limbs while pushing forward with his fifth.

15/17

124Tei Kae

He didn't weigh too much, and under normal circumstances Song would have been able to handle the weight. But she still had injuries to the head, and body and they were catching up to her...fast. Like the bruised shoulder blades from the powerbomb earlier...his weight on them did not feel good at all.

So she stumbled forward, her front dropping in such a way towards the pole that both of them would have to be careful not to slam their heads into the pole. Him more than her as he was still bigger than she was by several inches, so his head reach was over hers. In a sense protecting her own head from injury even further. So she's fall forward, intent on slamming as much of him into the pole as possible before she stumbled to the ground.

If he let go, she's fall and manage to roll over onto her back, so she was staring up at the ceiling. But if he remained, she's just fall flat to the ground.

[16/17]

[9/12]

125Benjamin Nicolai

He was trying to steer this babe around, so of course he was paying attention to where they were going. She may be trying to slam his head into the pole, but he was intent on getting her up against it. With her unable to really bear the weight, his chances of success were diminishing and so he'd use what little control he had to not hit the pole.

Squeezing one hip more than the other to get her body to lean a bit and turning his head to the side would prevent a head on collision, a little clipping but nothing too serious (although anything was still painful in his head condition).

She seemed to release his arm or would have to in any attempts to roll away, and he'd release his grip to get a better one. Resulting in the outcome as she desired, as he managed to roll over onto her back. But ever persistent, Ben would be not that far behind. And he'd roll right on top of her, putting them face to face once more.

16/17

126Tei Kae

And so she'd open her eyes, only to stare into his baby blues. It really was too funny, if she thought about it. She knew the buzzer/ring/whatever signaled the end of a fight would be doing it's thing soon, but she was just thinking of the fact that they always seemed to end up in some position that sexual innuendo could be called.

And that thought made her laugh, her soft lips curling into a smile as she looked up, her own currently blue eyes crinkling in amusement.

"Нам или нужно остановить встретить как это или встречаем как это более часто. Я не могу решить что." For those Russian impaired, 'We either need to stop meeting like this or meet like this more often. I can not decide which.' Because with the damage her head was taken catching up to her, she was in Russian mode at the moment. Even getting her to speak French, her first language might be a bit tough.

[17/17]

[9/12]

127Benjamin Nicolai

Women were always so indecisive: should I do this or that? should I wear this or that? should we go here or there? They never could make up their minds and that's why they need men in their lives, to make these tough decisions.

And being the man that he was, Benjamin would do just that, right now. But he wouldn't answer her question French, or English, or even Russian. Instead, he'd give his answer in a way that transcended all languages.

Ben would simply stare back into her own blue eyes, lean in and kiss her. A kiss that spoke of both heat and passion greater than that which had bruised his skin.

A kiss that would last long past the sound of the ending buzzer.

((Note2: I'm going to assume these fights happen in a sequential manner because no one makes it clear and it may at times seem like these fights overlap but they never interact. So I say its safe to assume that they happen in different time frames and some sort of cleaning may or may not occur in between..))

Ever wonder why Griff was breaking all these bottles?

Ever wonder why Griff would try the same attack twice when he knew the only outcome would be more liquor on the floor?

The answer is simple. When God Caliber had learned of the arena for their next match, Ben and Griff (or Ben at least) had decided that the old man needed an extra hand since he seemed to be missing one after their first match.

And this arena had become very slick and slippery arena due to cheap, mostly non-flammable alcohol; it was time to set the plan in motion.

And this plan was simple and consisted of Ben doing one simple thing, shocking the ******** out of whomever Griff's opponent might be. And guess what...

BING! BING! BING!

The Doctor had won that lottery.

So from behind the doctor, Ben flicked on his little striker switch and walked into the mini pool of liquor this place had become and he'd get within 10~15 feet of the doctor. At which point he'd apply a hefty yet non-lethal dose of electricity to the liquid for a few seconds.

During this period his eyes would be glued to the Doctor. So that if the doctor was somehow able to sense his coming, he'd simply wait for him to get within a 15 foot range and then apply the shock. And if the doctor seemed to be resistant, he'd apply a tad bit more. And if the doctor started to move his way, he'd simply walk off.

And as for exactly how much electricity he would be applying to the floor, it was enough to stun an above average size man and send him into convulsions for a short period. The reason an above average size-man voltage was being applied was to compensate for the doctor's seeming above average level of strength and tolerance. Enough to give Griff both breathing room and an opening, should he choose to take it. He didn't know of his metal composition which would cause him to have applied results but it would not be enough to kill him.

As for the spectators, fans, opposite team and whatnot they'd be out of the shock radius. The bottles had all been broken in the arena and since no one was complaining of getting wet, they'd be ok. And even if they were wet, the charge would dissipate over the distance such that they would feel absolutely nothing. He was being extra careful such that he wouldn't pull a 'Snow'.

If all went swell and the Doctor was feeling the buzz or at least wasn't trying to leap at him, he'd end his striker there and walk off to grief with James some more.

Apparently some people are quite foolhardy.

Seeing that her opponent wasn't ready to let go of her of his own volition, Viviana thought he might appreciate a little assistance from her. As James brought his hand back down towards the tip of Viviana's tail, he was not met with any limp, immobile appendage, but rather with the full force of the Lamia's 450 pound, 8 foot long, snake tail. She snapped it out towards him, it was not just her tip toying with him this time, the vast majority of Vivi's tail lifted from the ground and slammed into James' abdomen with enough power to send the 173 lb man flying across the room and crashing into a wall of shelving.

"Oroka na ningen" She taunted, still smirking, and like magic, she pulled a pair of shurikens out from somewhere in her hair (Actually there was no magic involved, just a nifty little band that Vivi wore underneath that mass of silver curls she sported). With a hiss she thew both of them, one aiming for his left eye and the other at his right eye.

"What did you say before, chiisa i nin? Playtime is over ne? 'ow right you were."

How many steps did this thing have? 15? 20? Dash wasn’t entirely sure, but he’d just able to count the bruises later. At some point early in the fall, Dash had positioned himself so that he was lying on his back and leaning to his right, riding his shield like a pissed off street luge in pursuit of the also tumbling Darious.

Well, there was a fine line between being foolhardy, and being epic. James liked to think he walked that line everyday.

After all, Leeroy Jenkins and his descendents did it, oh s**t, wait, poor example.

Ah well.

Stubborn as hell, James clung on, having anchored himself deeply in her with his left arm. The scene was akin to that of a expert rider on the most unstable bronco there was in a rodeo, which was "riding" the Naga's tail in everywhich way BUT the standard form of "riding".

Hell, all James really needed was his old teammate Deitric to striker out of nowhere and give him his Injun hat.

The martial artist could've swore he felt the bottommost of his ribs crack slightly from the latest tail slam attempt. At this close range, it shouldn't have happened, but it was a price he paid in activating the Bloody Roar, as any damage he actually took was magnified by the havoc he was wrecking to himself. Blood started to trickle out of his mouth, signaling that he was reaching full power already. Vivi's attempt to delay him only meant that he had more energy to draw upon at the critical moment.

But if the critical moment never arrived, James would have caused himself to fall unconcious. It was hard for him to get a grip on the gaping hole in Vivi's body with his other hand admist all the bucking, and that needed to happen in order for him to rip her a new one.

"Oroka na ningen", he glanced up at her taunting, and saw her pull out a pair of shuriken.

"Save your breathe you ugly snake b***h" he thought in response and tilted back his head. His clan had a long history of defeating and killing snake beings, and he didn't intend to lose out now.

Cue the background being another dimension picture again here.

Then as James tossed his head back forward, for a second, it looked as if the martial artist vomited at the wound the snake had.

Quote: Tower to the Burning Sun- Flames are expelled out of the mouth at the foe, or at the ground to create a massive pillar of flames not unlike that of Spiral Dust, but to much, much greater effect. May also be cast after extended charging from the hands. Not used frequently, it is greatly, exponentially, draining for its power, especially when cast from the mouth.

(Something like that)

What better way to unleash all of his pent up energy in one blow anyway? Fire resistance be damned, both the Naga and James would suffer from the blast, the former, being exactly sort of creatures the flames were supposed to target, and was supernaturally effective against as a result, and the latter, not completely immune to a point-blank eruption of one of his most powerful flame techniques. The shurikens would be deflected by the pillar of flames too, or at the very least, scrape the top of his head.

The snake lady would find herself blasted apart in two pieces, or, atleast with a great chunk of her tail area completely melted away. James's left hand, being at ground zero, was scorched, his clothes and gloves nearly melted through, as he got his footing and backed away to recover for a moment.

Bodies began to crash from the Interior. Dash's endurance was frightening and it equals the persistence of the psychotic priest. Thuds were echoing as the black clothed entity received a punishment by the staircase. The aftermath would likely result with additional wounds onto his scarred body, something that became natural for the sadomasochistic low life.

Oblivious to his current surroundings, Dash's legs marked the exposed side region of the chest. Crashing into his adversary once again, this seems like one battle that was going to be deem one of the most chaotic battles of this year. Grinning deviously, he spat out some blood that pour from his busted lip during the collision down the stairs violently. Mentally counting the wounds, he would have damage from crashing through the areas, the assault on his back, his a** violated by a satanic cross and a good amount of blunt damage onto the face. Adding all of this, Darious was struggling as he rose and lean against the wall.

Finally aware of the environment around his presence, he smiled in joy as he surrounded by alcohol. This was like paradise to the sadistic b*****d, overjoyed as he grew an attachment to this cellar. Staring at the bottles, he took a bottle of liquor and ripped the top open with his teeth. Consuming the bottle, he smirked while roughly gripping another bottle with his right hand and shaking it rapidly. Chugging his liquor, he pondered what Dash would do.

.:.Obviously, Viviana isn't going to be throwing Shurikens at someone within close range. So the ranged attack can be disregarded if James is so hell bent on hanging on..:.

The Lamia could easily lift 6 of James over her head, so when the silly little man tried to keep a hold of her tail, she did what anyone would do when a fly was walking on them that just wouldn't shoo.

She reached out with her hands and grabbed hold of both of his shoulders again. Once more activating her Gorgon grasp ability. Even though James was somewhat immune to being encased in her stone, it still would provide Viviana with the opportunity needed.

Before James would have a chance to get the grip he needed, limestone would have already started to form around his limbs, originating at his shoulders and traveling down across his torso, everywhere except for where that irritating little gauntlet of his protected.

With a fearsome scowl the Lamia wrenched his stony form from her body, not at all bothered if his limbs were broken in the process of extracting him from her tail. Then she hurled him at the wall, head first.

"Je suis fatigué de vos tentatives petites."

As Vivi went to clap her hands on his shoulders, he was of the opinion that she should've actually gone directly for his face instead. Besides, even if he wanted to get out, he couldn't do so easily. His left arm was anchored more firmly in her then a tapeworm in some cow's intestines.

At any rate, James would proceed with the Tower to the Burning Sun plan, altering it only slight to reflect a change in targeting. James gripped one of the snake woman's hands with his free right, fighting off the effects of her petrifying spell as well as he could, atleast around his head.

And he still managed a grin.

"Heh"

He expelled a massive amount of his saved-up energy through his mouth, straight at Vivi's face.

The only thing that could be said was, atleast he held back some. He didn't think the head was something that Vivi might live without, unlike her tail, his original target. On her end, the massive wave of fire would strike her with a ton of physical force (almost as if he socked her in the face), and it'd scorch her rather horrifically. There was a extremely good chance that she might even lose both eyes.

He wasn't going to keep trying the ripping her apart thing anyway. There was just no way he could do it with a cracked rib, no way his muscles could generate the power needed without breaking it and hurting himself himself via stabbing his own bone into himself. But the massive pillar of flame from the mouth flame technique?

It was so in this year.

While Darious sampled alcohol, Dash leaned his back against the wall opposite the room, having made his way there following the kick.

Breathing hurt.

Moving hurt.

Even thinking hurt.

Although the pain he felt had since been lost in the amalgam of adrenaline, anger, and determination. He had no idea how the rest of his team were fairing in the other sections of the mansion. To be quite honest, Dash didn’t care. Hoskuo was the only person to really draw concern from the man, and he was sidelined this fight.

What did concern Dash was that his opponent was still standing. Not just literally, but figuratively. He stood in the way of his goal; his objective; his revenge. As much fun as the captain had during his skirmish with a skilled opponent, he had not lost sight of his reasons for being here.

His weight shifted and he dipped his right shoulder, allowing the shield to slide down to his forearm so he could properly grab it. His left arm remained immobile, having been rendered ineffective long ago by the combination of a satanic cross and the explosive punch to the shoulder. He could still move it a little, but anything major caused intense pain, especially if the shoulder itself was involved. The cuts across his chest, face, and side slowly seeped blood. The wounds were superficial, not deep enough to cause damage to any major arteries or result in him bleeding out anytime soon. Several other bruises littered the man’s body as well, but they were hidden for most part beneath the bloodied jumpsuit he wore.

Alright Dash… this is it.

His eyes locked onto the demon before him. He’d put considerable amount of distance between them. Of course it wasn’t too great because of the room’s nature, but it created enough of a buffer to react should Darious have any more tricks up his sleeve. In his peripherals, he caught glimpse of the devastation wrought by fights prior (and perhaps still ongoing elsewhere). Right now, the two were alone, left to complete their waltz in this dimly lit hell.

It was a fitting stage if ever for the grand finale, even if it did reek of alcohol.

Dash’s grip tightened on his shield and the muscles in his right arm grew tense. There was a brief flash.

Then another…

-and another.

His emerald fight-aura sought once more to manifest itself.

“Do… you feel them?”

The man asked, sweat and blood running down his left cheek.

It was lucky for Viviana that her ancestors were so pedantic about the elements.

The bronze amulet about her neck took on a dark orange hue as the flames were ejected from James' mouth, the Lamia jerked her head to the right, twisting her neck so as to try and remove her face from the torrent of fire. Of course, not even a Lamia is that quick.

Viviana let out a blood curdling scream as the searing flames licked at the flesh of the left side of her face. To say that had hurt would be a vast understatement. When she finally turned, it would be obvious to James that the end result of his attack was nothing short of horrific. The left side of Viviana's face was little more than a few scraps of crisp, charcoal colored flesh and blackened bone. Her left amber eye glared impetuously out at him from its blackened socket, the right side however, had remained relatively unscathed. Thanks to her family heirloom about her neck, some of the damage which should have been wrought upon her face had been absorbed and as such, the Lamia kept her vision.

"So you like your women well done eh?" She hissed, "I prefer my men rare"

And with those words the Lamia lunged forward, her face twisted into a snarl, her fangs aimed directly for James' jugular. The Lamia had the advantage of James' limited mobility and she intended to use it to drain as much blood as she could from the troublesome man without killing him, after all that heat she was feeling mighty thirsty.

[11/17]

Quote: Melusinde’s gift; Around Viviana’s neck hangs a bronze disc, about the size of the palm of her hand. Around the edge of the disc a snake is engraved, its head eating its tail forming a circle. In the middle of the disc an engraving of a woman, pouring water out of a vase like vessel.

The amulet not only identifies its wearer as being one of fey heritage it also dulls any elemental damage that is inflicted upon the wearer. Viviana is a creature tied to the elements of water (sometimes ice) and earth (sometimes acid). As long as she wears this amulet any damage inflicted upon her tied to the elements of either water or earth will be halved and any fire or electricity damage is decreased by one quarter of the total damage.

Quote: Sanguine Regeneration; besides using her bite attack to deploy poison, Viviana can also use it to drain some of her victims blood. Much like a Vampire, feeding off the vital fluids of a living creature helps Vivi to heal her wounds. (But unlike a Vampire, Viviana is not reliant on blood or other vital fluids for her survival.) Devouring a pint of blood halves the time it takes her body to heal an injury.

Being the cruel manipulative b*****d he was, he refused to have him manifest anything involving that troublesome shield. Before he could fully manage to do it, Darious tossed the half empty bottle of liquor towards the skull of Dash. To assume he wasn't watching him like a predator was foolish, consuming that alcohol to help cope with the strain on his scarred form. Irritated at the durability of this opponent, he felt it was finally time to secure a victory for Lu Bu.

The rack of flammable liquor was within the bottles, possibly enveloping his enemy in it. Firmly shaking that bottle, he popped the top open while wandering closer to his adversary. Before he allowed him the opportunity to strike, liquor began to spray from the immense pressure of shaking the bottle with his injured right hand. With Sakari Energy surging into the metallic limb, the superheated limb was going to touch the liquor like napalm and it would be unfortunate that where he was pinpointing would bring anger to him.

When someone ends a massive amount of heat plus the flammable liquor, it resulted in what people would classify as a makeshift flamethrower or the satanic purge known as;

KILL IT WITH FIRE!

Although not in a literal sense, he started to target the crotch region of his adversary. He was playing fire with fire, thus bringing revenge for violating his a** cheek with one of his blades. Feeling drained, the added damage made him ache with tremendous pain throughout his body. If someone heard of the Christmas song ' Chestnuts roasting on an open fire', he was about to be a prime witness to this torture.

That eye?

James mustered up some saliva and spat right at it, just for kicks. He'd probably miss, but it'd be hilarous as hell, and it'd serve to further piss her off.

And so the snake lady came, and so she bit him, but instead of toned neck muscles she'd might break her tooth on something even tougher. It was at this point that James felt even more fortuanate that it was his left arm that was trapped, as he simply punched her oncoming face right in the teeth using his gauntleted hand, and dug into her lower jaw with his armored fingers, hell with being petrified. He'd live. Sheer willpower and adrenaline helped.

"Suprise" he muttered. It was also fortuanate, that holding back to avoid killing her with his fire wave left him some spare energy for a follow-up.

With a bloodthirsty ro- whoah. Deja vu. In short, James attempted to half-rip, half-blast the lower part of her face off, simutaneously trying to pull it off while emitting a small, but focused shockwave of flame from his palm at the same time.

"Chew on THAT" came the Bond one-liner.

STRIKER

The initial blaze of fire drew the Devil from his Rubik's cube and he saw from his spot that ....

Oh well look at that...

It was James Eredas. Former teammate and formidable opponent. Didn't seem like he was being very nice to the lovely miss Vivi. What the s**t was that all about?

His first ferocious fiery breath was implemented and Kain could see Vivi reel her head around, to which he snapped on his FIGHTER. She was going for a bite and Kain was coming after James from behind (HA!). He couldn't help but inwardly laugh at something a friend of a friend once said...

Comin' in Dry...BALLS AND ALL!

Well, James wouldn't be getting the prison evening special, but would be getting a Devil's clawed fingers and thumbs probing at his jaw. Luckily for the Kainer, this an enclosed area; acoustics and bright light like flames would have a charming effect on those present, he'd use these to his advantage, with Vivi's blood curdling scream, the roar of flames to deafen and the light cast from James' fires to momentarily blind. It was perfect for his STRIKER.

Attack time! Kain's two thumbs, coming up under the Heir's chin to that lovely soft fleshy part and his index to ring fingers on both hands, would lay a special hold in (via nails) and around his gums. He'd push up on James' chin to avert his direction of spraying Vivi again to his left and towards the ceiling. His excess spray would connect with Kain but the fires just wouldn't have the normal desired effect.

"Hey, James! Wuz happenin'?"

Once Kain had his thumbs in that fleshy bit he'd wrench that s**t forward and off of that boy-o's face! Bye bye lower jaw. James was a cool dude, he'd understand. For good measure, a Tyson style EAR BITE! YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH, BOIII!

Voosh.

What’s this, an inbound bottle? Dash couldn’t raise his shield to deflect the blow, but he wouldn’t need to. A quick duck to his right side was all it took for the bottle to fly over his left shoulder and slam against the wall. It was reassuring to know that his opponent wasn’t going to stand there twiddling his thumbs, and neither would Dash.

The question still left his lips, even as the devil made his way towards him, bottle shaking and preparing to spray him with booze. The ducking motion still allowed Dash to slip the shield onto his right forearm and into position to be of use. As mentioned before, Dash was on the wall opposite of Darious, so the guy still had some distance to move before he could spit all over him with the flame thrower.

His green aura sprouted from his being, spiraling up his body and congregating in his right flexed arm (complete with shield). He couldn’t accumulate nearly as much power as he had intended, so he’d just have to make due with what he had. Dash stepped forward into Darious leading with his right and coming in from a low angle. His shield lead the way as the flames sought to devour him. Instead of finding his groin, they’d strike an angry shield in motion, causing it to glow as its own temperatures soared to new heights.

The faint smell of burnt flesh filled the air as layers of skin on Dash’s palm blistered and sizzled away causing his hand to stick to the handgrip. Sections of his forearm that were in contact with his weapon received the same treatment, there was no escaping the nasty 2nd and third degree burns in those areas. However, in spite of the intense heat, it would still take a second or two of exposure for his weapon to heat up to those temperatures, so he’d have more than enough time to do what he needed.

Emerging through the flames was the bright, glowing mean face of his shield.

=(

And it was as pissed as ever.

The kid in the café nearly jumped out of his seat.

DAMMIT DASH! USE A SHIELD BASH!

And shield bash he did. He swung his weapon towards Darious’s face with an uppercut motion, utilizing not only the coiled strength in his legs but the added effect of the small amount of ki he had built up. His goal was pretty simple; to knock the man’s own metallic super-heated arm into his face and press it there along with the shield. At this BBQ, everyone was invited.

It would take an idiot to not prepare for the worse and from the distance he utilized that flamethrower. Sighing at the lost opportunity to ****** him sideways, he greeted Dash with a malicious grin after injuring his precious hands at the cost of wielding that retarded shield. Watching the All b***d's Captain go for another shield bash, he rolled his eyes from how typical this was becoming.

Was this opponent becoming senile? He wouldn't have enough time to get his answer, but there was something this b***d forgot. As he emerged from the bright flames, laughter was echoing. It was the psychotic Darious consumed in the excitement of this savage battle between them. Before the b***d could ram him, a deep sidestep was applied with about all the energy remaining within the sadomasochistic abomination. As an offering, his right arm was going to suffer as the heat of the shield literally was causing deep trauma and the heat that engulfed the arm in second degree burns despite the leather covering it.

With fury within the eyes of Darious, with a limb still surrounded in immense heat, a familiar weapon was going to appear before the open Dash. That was right, it was that god forsaken wrist blade with a good amount reach. Close to point blank, he plunged his left for a mighty straight that would puncture the serrated blade towards the right shoulder. With pain coursing through his burning right arm, a sadistic face of determination was depicted to cause misery to his adversary till the very end to Dash's form, Regardless of the outcome, this was draining about everything left in his body.

The cocky martial artist's saliva fell short of her eye, instead hitting her charred and visible cheekbone. She hardly even noticed it, it was hard to have any sensation when you lacked the nerve endings to feel.

As James brought his fist to Viviana's face and grabbed on to her jaw, the Lamia swung her tail around, sending it crashing against the mans legs.

It was really, perfect timing, for Kain had arrived, like the dashing devil he was, and was providing her with some much needed assistance. If she hadn't had her mouth full of fist, she likely would have said

'Merci Monsieur Kain.' But of course, her mouth was full of fist, and her lower jaw was being quite painfully wrenched out of its socket. Luckily however, her team mate prevented that nasty sacred flame from frying the other side of her face.

The Lamia balled her fists and aimed a volley of punches at James' abdomen. Her scaled knuckles concentrating on his ribs, which she surmised had suffered the most damage thus far.

If she could have made a witty one liner, she would have.

His controlled charge (aka: "ridiculous rampage"), squishy footfalls and all, brought him in range just in time for his target to jump away. Now, normally his mace would blindly swish through the air, another attack well evaded, because he was a raging moron and hadn't been paying any attention to his opponent's tactics, right?

Wrong!

Those two documents framed on his office wall both said "Doctor Samuel de Medici; PhD", his genius was truly something to be feared, both on and off the battlefield. The beautiful thing about having brains in areas such as cybernetics was that you could give yourself the brawn's you lacked. Sure his movements were a little clumsy; he had spent the majority of his life as a skinny scientist, after all; but everything he did was calculated to its exact measure... except maybe that brief rage session earlier, but everyone has their limits. It just so happened that getting backstabbed by his brother's indirect murderer was his.

Thus, as Griff slapped himself away like the brilliant trapeze artist he was, the Doctor's mace bloomed again, just as last round's spoiler foreshadowed. Only this time, instead of elaborate, armor-piercing frills, the haft extended; chain-like holes formed along the extension so that hardly any additional mass needed to be added, and when all was said and done his fancy 1-foot mace had become a fancy 4-foot flail.

With a flick of the wrist he ripped his arm in the opposite direction, cracking the chain like a whip and sending the sharp, frilled head of the flail smashing into the shoulder blades/side/chest/'whatever angle he was jumping' of his newly airborne foe. If the surprise attack didn't interrupt his little acrobatic maneuver, the fact that the Doctor stopped his charge to launch a ranged attack would require the rack to fall at a very odd angle to actually hit him. Now he just had to-

Benjamin Nicolai. The company observers reported some very interesting phenomena coming from him in the previous round. Along with an assortment of time paradoxes, he had displayed a very common talent; at least for this general crowd of metas. Armor was in wide use at Heaven or Hell, so every electric user and device was rampant on jumping to the forefront. This was something the Doctor didn't even have to prepare for. He had bested it naturally.

...and for those deprived of the wonderful world of Science, oxides, including rust, do not conduct electricity. In fact, if rust didn't absorb moisture so easily it would make a great insulator, just like this mutated rust would do now.

Burning. Lots and lots of burning. He may have had protection against the electricity on the inside, but his clothes were still sopping wet and wine did indeed conduct. Added to the fact that he'd likely increase the voltage when he noticed the good Doctor not convulsing on the floor from it. A bit would seep through legs and the holes in his armor, but electricity had a tendency of seeking the path of least resistance, and since it was already on the ground it wouldn't go out of its way to dissipate through it. When all was said and done Sam would fall to his knees, panting heavily with smoke rising from his coat and his pants torn and charred.

With all these strikers causing so much damage, he was going to need to finish things quickly.
