It was a great plan. A splendid plan that they came up with, and after the fight, Rhoslyn would come up and congratulate them. However, there were a few flaws with it, and someone like Ross, who was in charge of strategy for his team, would exploit every last edge he got.
The first, assuming that Rhoslyn WAS NOT LOOKING. Try looking down and then looking forward. Sorta like how Rhoslyn could make eye contact while licking p***y, he was capable of, once again, having normal vision, which included peripheral vision. So, as the piece of wood sped towards him, Rhoslyn could kinda see a shadow that looked suspiciously like an arm carrying a sharp bit of wood flying towards his head. Naturally, he couldn't stop it. Yet.
So, as the wood gave his ear a new piercing and splintered into and against his skull, Rhoslyn swallowed the chunk of flesh and fastened his lips over the bite mark, licking and sucking at the delicious, delicious blood as his own hot, kinda sparkly blood ran down the side of his face. He'd turn his head ever-so-slightly as the man moved his arm back for another swing, and as the shadow grew near again, Rhoslyn suddenly TK-pushed down on the kinda-pointy end with the whole more-or-less ten pounds of force. This was likely to redirect said strike from the side of Rhoslyn's head down into the man's thigh, because he probably hadn't planned on a counter. Probably. Even if it did hit Ross it'd be at an angle and merely leave a jagged cut down his cheek.
He'd keep up the TK and DEATHHANDS, so this guy was gonna have a wicked ******** case of osteoporosis and have pretty much no feeling from the knee down on his left leg due to, y'know, the nerves dying.
And then, STRIKER.
Flaw two, assuming it'd be a surprise. Rhoslyn knew from the very beginning that there would be a Striker on him, and there was no time like when he was leaving his back exposed and not facing his opponent. And when the sharp, biting metal bit into the general area of his kidney, Rhoslyn let out a moan. Not one of pain, but one of sheer pleasure, like he was jizzing in his pants. The camera would get a nice close-up, and yes, that was exactly the face he was making as he arched his back up and pulled hard and up with his left in an attempt to break the guy's knee backwards.
He let off the DEATHHAND. He couldn't keep it up and do what needed to be done. Since the guy was clearly trying to hurt Rhoslyn, the blade would go in all the way to the hilt, and from there, he'd know roughly where the guy's body was relative to him. After all, angle of stabbing and s**t, and once again, shadows. And here's where it'd all come together.
Quote: |sidhe blood|: ...For serious or vital injuries, the only display of this power manifest in keeping Rhoslyn conscious and out of shock. In addition, he can become empowered from drinking the blood of others. Sorta like instant-gratification magical coffee, if you will.
Quote: |sidhe hand of blood|: ...a limited degree of control over blood, increases the power potency of his own blood, and allows him to gain more power from blood than the average faerie.
So, he'd been drinking blood. And drinking blood amped up his magic.
If he had time to grin, he would have. Instead, Rhoslyn curled his left leg up and pointed his feet towards the general direction of the guy looming over him to shank him.
Last, but not least...
Quote: |sidhe hand of bone|: Rhoslyn's left Hand of Power allows him to control... his own skeletal structure. This can be used to... grow "claws"
Bones shot forth from Rhoslyn's feet, piercing through the shoe and going straight for the man as fast as Rhoslyn could, burning approximately half of the power he'd gotten from drinking the blood to supplement his own. He wouldn't stop until he felt bone sinking deep into flesh, and there was more going on. He could keep his focus on the bone attack even with (possible) hits to the head, and since TK manip didn't take any at all...
Well, people were in for a world of hurt. Striker THAT.
