One of the many news networks around Gaia, Channel 7 Action News has been in business for a few years and in that time has made a meteoric rise to the top of the pile, in no small part to it's crack reporter team including the charismatic and energetic Alicia Aicila. While it's actual headquarters are nestled in the seaside city of Gambino, a mobile station is set up each year in the city of Latent to facilitate getting the latest stories on the air as quickly as possible.
While the primary purpose of the so-called "mobile newsroom" is to report on the events of Heaven or Hell, occasionally events around town or involving teams, combat-wise or not, may pop up too. Feel free to visit the newsroom for tours between 7 AM and 6 PM, or catch the live broadcasts every night at 9 PM!
General - A small renovated building near the heart of Latent, within walking distance of most public transportation and major stores.
Weapons - Mr. Coffee, water cooler, investigative journalism.
Natural Element Resource - News.
Bonus Effects - +1 to showboating due to all the cameras.

Tomorrow turned off the rumbling Thunderbird between his legs and stepped off it, pulling his bandanna off his face as he looked over the building before himn, a look of curiosity on his weathered brow as he saw the big 'Channel 7 News!' logo emblazoned upon the side of the building.
The big man hadn't watched much TV...well, ever. The entire thing bemused him, and seeing as he'd just come in to watch the Tournament, he figured it would be a good chance to see just how the magical box actually worked.
Tucking his bandanna into his back pocket and unbuttoning his jacket, John approached the entrance to this strange place, wondering if he would have to wait or if there would be a group already waiting for the tour he'd read was supposed to begin an hour ago. Pulling his long blond hair away from his face, tucking it behind his ears as he pushed his sunglasses to rest atop his head, he opened the door and entered the building, not really knowing what to expect...

Moments after John walked in, a fox-girl intern with a large number of papers held against her chest nearly crashed into him, side-stepping in the nick of time. "Sorry, mister!" she exclaimed quickly, dashing off down the hall at near superhuman speed. There was an almost comical effect of papers flying off of her silhouette this way and that. In fact, that seemed to be the air surrounding the mobile news studio - if there were ever a cliché about how news in any form was run, it was more than likely taking place in this building.
A few seconds later, a tall-ish blond man approached from just down the hallway. "If there were ever a cliché about how news in any form was run, it's more than likely taking place in this building." His accent was English, his voice a bit flat but sincere, and the rest of him wrapped in a pressed but not-too-expensive black coat. "The question is are you here to see the news, or simply make it? Because I'll have you know there's nothing of value here." He held out his right hand in a friendly gesture. "Charles, at your service. We don't get many guests here, aside from the tours run by the buxom Miss Aicila, so I'll have to assume you're either actually interested in the inner machinations of this subset of a station, or you simply missed the first group that came through." There was a glint in his eye that seemed to suggest that he already knew the answer.

"Its okay!" John called, catching a piece of paper from the air as it floated down from her slipstream. "Uh, you dropped....ah forget it." He muttered as he watched her shapely a** - complete with fox-tail - dissapear around a corner.
Kitsune...delicious.
John turned and smiled down at the man called Charles as he approached, rubbing his beard before putting his hands into his jacket pocket. "Dont worry, i'm not here to rob you or anything, i just want to look around..." He took the man's smaller hand in his massive grip, shaking it up and down gently but putting enough pressure on the guy's hand to know this is not someone you want to piss off. "John Tomorrow, good to meet ya."

Buxom? Tomorrow's attention was firmly snapped on the man called Charles as he paused for a moment, before laughing in a diffident manner. "Ah, yes, I was hoping for a tour, see how all this works...should i wait, or...?"

Spending over half his life in a career of media, Charles knew how to read people, to some extent. It came with the territory, and it was all the more confirmed when Mr. Tomorrow tried to crush his hand, or so he had to assume. In turn, he placed his hand in his pocket, casually rummaging around for something while he continued to speak to John.
He could see the way the man's eyes lit up when he mentioned Alicia's most prominent asset. He fancied to think that if he had just spent more time on the streets, his deduction skills might have been better put to use as an avid brawler, but then if he had done that, who would be there to report on the brawls? Either way, he had found the object he was looking for - a small stack of business cards in a clip, one of which he held out for Mr. Tomorrow.
"Funny one, that girl. I went to high school with her father, a cat-demon. He ended up marrying a succubus, and... well, it seems she made out like a bandit with the genetics of both her parents." He laughed, though even he wasn't sure if what he said was particularly funny. "There's not much news going on at the moment, what with preparations, but if you'd like, I can show you around." He paused for a moment, a slight smile tugging at his lips. "Unless, of course, you'd rather wait for the official guide."

"Er, well..." John murmured, scratching his chin through his beard again...
...Before mentally slapping himself. Back for five seconds and already he was chasing tail - literally. You couldn't walk down the street outside without tripping over a girl off her chops on beauty product, especially now the Tournament was in town. One more woman with big tracts of land that he'd missed out on wouldnt be the end of the world.
He decided to take the young man up on his offer. "...Sure, why not. I'm guessing by your stout confidence you're a reporter yourself - how long you been in the business?" He asked as he looked at the business card, reading what was written upon it...

It seemed like someone had drawn all over the card with a blue pen. Charles' eyes flitted downward for a moment, but he made no attempt to take the card back - he was confident that no matter which card he gave the man in front of him, it would undoubtedly have something unprofessional doodled on it. Instead, he kept up the conversation at hand.
"Over half my life, my good man. It's been just over twenty years now, and I certainly show no signs of slowing down. Through hell or high water it's my solemn duty to bring the good and the bad to the attention of the public. Of course, with such a public violent pissing contest such as Heaven or Hell, the shift tends to be more towards the spectacle than the facts. Even so, I am a steward of the people - it is not my place to judge, only to provide information, Mr. Tomorrow."
It almost sounded like he had prepared that speech, but there was a hint of sincerity behind it that said otherwise. "And yourself? How long have you been in your trade?" Charles always avoided pinning down someone's occupation without at least hearing it from the man or woman him or herself.

O"...All my life, as far as I remember..."
Of course, he'd just only recently had brain surgery to remove a bullet lodged in his brain, which had threatened to kill him slowly, as well as make his powers flux wildly, resulting in uncontrollable bursts of electricity...
But that was behind him. He couldnt remember anything after four years ago, however...
"I'm a farmer." He finally said. "But I used to participate in these tournaments, but when they went under the Leviathan name. I wasn't able to join this year because of a...medical condition."
What would stop a hulking 7 foot nord from participating in a fight was anybodys guess. Charles could either ask...or use his imagination.
