Round 1: Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods

Two lucky contestants are selected from the studio audience to come on down to the set of Gaia's #1 daytime broadcast television gameshow. In events such as Price Check, Spinwheel, and Name That Meme contestants can win fabulous prizes such as: Televisions, Ancient Ceremonial Katana Sets, Johnny K. Gambino's Autographed Golf Clubs, and ANEWCAR (brought to you by Blue Crystal s**t™).

General: Due to a minor weasel-related shipping accident while moving the stage to the Noah Dome, the iconic Wheel was destroyed and declared unrecoverable. However, a new, elegant solution has been decided upon. Roughly thirty feet across, all combatants will be fighting on top of ANEWWHEEL.

Weapons: BIGMONEYBIGPRIZES can be won by spinning the wheel and landing on a "prize" wedge, including:

Diet Potion - Great taste, less filling. Heals 50 HP.

Blue Crystal s**t Throwback - Comes in a jar labeled "Do not use for dirty fighting."

ANEWCAR - Someone was nice enough to leave the keys in the ignition.

Golf Clubs signed by Johnny K. Gambino - With a 30% increase in the sweet spot, you're sure to get a direct hit every time.

One Way Ticket to Pain - It's actually just a bat with a nail in it.

GBox 720 Kinetic - You're not sure what it does, but it looks like it would make a great cudgel.

A refridgerator - Go ahead, try and nuke it.

Previous Contestant's Boxers - The inside of the waistband says "Silver" on it with a backwards "S."

Diamondkatanamobile - It's actually one of those scale models that kids can scoot around in.

Rubber Core Diamond Katana - Made with diamond. REAL DIAMOND, HARDEST METAL KNOWN THE MAN

Television - A 72" LCD made by GambCo, it offers the latest in visual technology. Refurbished.

Ancient Ceremonial Katana Set - Since they're ceremonial, the edges have been dulled considerably. They certainly do look fancy though!

Bonus Effects: While ANEWWHEEL is initially stationary, combatants and those on the sidelines have the chance to spin it for BIGMONEYBIGPRIZES. The wheel can be spun either by brute force, or by several buttons labeled "spin" around the perimeter, and takes one turn for the wheel to spin and stop. Afterwards the prize will be unceremoniously dumped from the ceiling near the center. Who actually gets the prize is something else entirely. GOOD LUCK, YOU'LL NEED IT.

2Kenji III

“No one thinks I’m cool, Mom” he mumbled in his sleep.

His alarm had been buzzing for the last hour. He lay on his bed with his mouth open and his chest covered in Cheetos and bong water.

“All my friends have Sega,” Kenji continued talking to his dreams.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated. It was one of those heavy duty phones that shock the earth anytime someone called him. For a few seconds he remained completely unconscious, but the loud noise of the mattress moving off its foundation jerked him awake.

“What the hell is this s**t? Why is someone calling me,” he asked, looking over at the clock; it read “7:03am”, “at this hour?” he was slightly puzzled. It felt as if he had just gone to bed.

He flipped open his phone and to his amazement it wasn’t a call at all. It was a reminder from the Heaven or Hell officials that the first round begins today. When had he joined that? He sure as hell didn’t want to roll out of bed and go to some media crazed event. Kenji didn’t even know where the rest of his team he had joined with was at. Last time he remembered seeing them he was melting a child in his arms and laughing about it.

“7 am, waking up in the morning,” Kenji complained. “Gotta be fresh, gotta go ******** down stairs.”

He threw off his covers and took a swig of Jack Daniels straight from the bottle and picked up a pair of wrinkled jeans from the floor and put them on. It was a pain in the a** having to do all this. A large percentage of him wanted to stay in the hotel room to do lines of cocaine all day, but he was going to at least see what was in store. He was the one that assembled Team Mutiny in the first place. It was sort of his responsibility to show up during its fights.

He packed his pipe with some weed and set it on the table in the kitchen, then he went and got a box of Cap’n Crunch from the cupboards and sat down to eat breakfast.

The phone vibrated again. It was another reminder to get his a** down to the tournament.

“Hold your ******** horses,” Kenji said to the phone, “I gotta have my bowl. Gotta have cereal.”

After he cashed out and finished his meal, Kenji got fully dressed and headed for the door just after he picked up a backpack full of supplies and some weapons. It was time to get a ride to wherever he was supposed to be. At the moment all his vehicles were out of commission due to his lack of caring about them. His Focus had been blown to smithereens and his truck was not on this plane of existence.

Kenji hadn’t given the tournament a whole lot of thought for the last few weeks. Everything felt like it had fallen through with how he hadn’t been in any real contact with his teammates. They didn’t even accept his friend requests on Facebook. He figured that’s how they reacted to a guy who fried kindergarteners to blackmail them all into joining his team that he had stolen from another guy. If they were able to get by the first round, he would be really surprised.

There were a lot of reporters outside. None of them were particularly interested in him, so he walked on by. But he wasn’t that lucky. A journalist with big black rim glasses and a short haircut approached him with a pen and paper.

“Aren’t you Kenji Hood from Team Mutiny?” he asked.

“Aren’t you that guy from all those Verizon commercials?” Kenji asked back.

“What?” he asked, shaking his head.

“I gotta get down to the bus stop,” Kenji said, walking passed the man.

“What?” the reporter was truly confused. Not many of the tournament participants had to take a bus to their fights.

“Can you hear me now?” Kenji retorted, continuing to stride away from him.

“Um, yeah,” he said, following the fighter.

“Gotta catch my bus,” Kenji said as a bus pulled up to the corner. He walked up on the bus, turned, and hit the driver the butt of his sword.

He looked at the sea of people on the bus. All of them were the fans of Heaven or Hell, and they all smelled like body odor and baby farts. Sighing, Kenji began to squeeze himself through the funhouse of blubber in an attempt to find a seat.

In the back he saw a woman injecting herself with herion.

“I see my friends,” Kenji said to himself.

“Hey, Kenji!” a woman from the front he had just walked by called out. He turned around to see her flashing him. “I’m your biggest fan! Why don’t you come sit by me?”

This was a predicament. He didn’t know which seat to take. Should he go in the front and get a quickie before his big failtastic fight with a bunch of tournament tools or get a shot of junk to set the rest of the day in a haze?

“Hmmm kickin’ in the front seat or kickin’ in the back seat? I gotta make my mind up,” Kenji said, mentally scratching his head. “Which seat do I take?”

Afterwards he was standing in front of a giant wheel. He was the first, ironically, to be there for either of the teams. It looked like his bad luck was at play. He was to fight on top of a Wheel of Fortune set piece.

“Fun, fun, fun,” he muttered, "I so so so excited."

"Why didn't kids like Kazaam?" Ed muttered in his sleep.

The punk's eyes opened abruptly at the first sound of his alarm, a determined expression set on his face despite his apparent sleepiness. It was today. The first round of 2011's Heaven or Hell. The cyborg would have been determined and hellbent on winning regardless of his opponent; however, being paired up with Mutiny above all others made him all the more resolute. Kehr's sign was fighting Kenji's team. The man Ed had been trying to kill for six months now, and curiously was now slated to fight him. Which either meant it was meant to be, or the Noah Foundation were some really manipulative assholes.

Edward got out of bed and grabbed a can of Coke from his minibar and drank the whole thing in three gulps. He stepped into the bathroom to use the toilet, shower, brushed his teeth, and then grabbed some shaving cream and flicked out his straight razor and took it to his face until he was presentable. The punk got dressed and grabbed his weapons, stepping into the living room of their suite where Barsait was already waiting. Sokoya wasn't living at the Hawk and Wigi was likely spending some time in the Hedge before the fight. "Let's go."

smilies/icon_arrow.gif Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods

Arriving on the scene of the match, the cyberpunk gave Omi a nod before approaching the giant wheel. He fixed Kenji with a serious look from the opposite side of the Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods. Knowing Kenji, especially how he was these days, the criminal probably wasn't aware that he was facing Ed's team. And probably wouldn't care much upon finding out either. Kenji wasn't going to be surprised. Nor angry. Just nonchalant. Uncaring. Unperturbed. Kenji was cold-blooded; a lot like Edward for the most part. Which perhaps was why they'd been friends for so long. The criminal would treat this fight like he treated all others. Unsympathetically. Edward would have to do so as well, lest he get trapped by his own anger.

He placed his left hand on the wheel and adjusted his goggles in front of his eyes with his right, "Let's see what you got, bud."

4Kenji III

“I forgot you existed, old friend,” Kenji said, stepping to the edge of the ring, or better yet, multi-paneled game show wheel. He dropped his bag of goodies but decided to not step up.

He had a more interesting idea. It wasn’t quite a solid one. He had lived to see a lot of stupid and crazy shenanigans in his time, but he had never had the privilege of fighting on global television on a rotating discus that seemed to be able to shoot out prizes from the sky.

Before he would enter the ring, he quickly grabbed one of the handles contestants use to spin it and flung it hard and sudden to his left so that it was spinning around to Ed’s right. As soon as he did that he jumped on the merry-go-round as it spun its way in the cyborg’s direction.

The wheel was going fast, and when he came close by to Ed’s side (about eight or so feet) he would shoot a complimentary fireball in his direction right at his face.

Kenji let out a belly laugh. This morning’s wake and bake was getting to him, and he couldn’t help but find this whole situation hilarious. He was spinning around on one a game show set he forgot about, in a tournament he forgot about, and was fighting against someone he forgot about. (He only slightly forgot about Ed.)

“Eddy, I feel like a ******** game show host. I can finally be a role model for my children,” Kenji said, throwing off his jacket. He was wearing a blue, plaid dress shirt with a dark, gray tie tucked into some jeans with his brown hiking boots.

b*****d! Edward had been waiting for Kenji to idiotically step onto the wheel, so he could remind the all-around bad-guy who he was dealing with by spinning it while he tried standing up. It would've been hilarious to watch Kenji lose his balance. Though, his opponent wasn't an idiot and it showed. Edward should have figured as much and planned on not making such an assumption again. Well, if he doesn't take a fireball to the face first. The cyberpunk ducked low, causing the flames to narrowly miss their mark and torch a wall instead, and watched as his opponent spun away. He'd tactically wait a second or two, noting that the Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods was slowly losing speed. Meanwhile, his nano-machines pumped chemicals in his bloodstream, and the punk started to feel much stronger and confident in mere moments.

Strength Boost Wrote:

Releasing testosterone into his bloodstream in copious amounts, Edward’s strength (of his organic body) is increased by 100%, putting him on a level playing field with some of Gaia’s bigger baddies and monsters. Can only be used twice per match.

“Eddy, I feel like a ******** game show host. I can finally be a role model for my childr-”

Ed reached out with both hands, grabbing the cylinders that stick out upwards at the edges of the wheel. The cyborg pulled the opposite way the wheel was turning, attempting to stop the wheel altogether or slow it down significantly. Either way, the sudden stop or decrease in speed would cause Kenji to fall onto his face. Just because the wheel was stopping didn't mean Kenji was. If successful, the Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods would slow and the cyberpunk would lift himself onto the platform.

"Smooth move, a*****e." Ed chuckled, moving towards Kenji at a walk.

In the midst of his maniacal laughter, Kenji was tripped by an Allen Iverson like wave of inertia. That meant he was flung off his feet as soon as the cyborg stopped the wheel. He plummeted. His back hit hard on the surface of the game show piece. That was swift thinking on Ed’s part. He’d give him that.

Edward was now up on the stage. Everything was about to go down. How long had it been since Kenji shot him multiple times in the back and then white washed him and his friends down a tunnel? If that wasn’t the reason this microwave had it out for him, he had no idea what he did to piss him off.

As his frienemy stepped closer a baseball fell from a magical hole in the ceiling. His assumption that prizes would fall out of the sky was right. The major league slugger landed right next to him bouncing as it landed on the wheel. It looked like he scored one of the worst wins. The kind they hand out free to the retards at fairs that couldn’t hit the bell or squirt water in a hole right of them. But it did have a single nail in it.

”I’d buy that for a dollar,” he said, taking the bat in his right hand.

The Megaman mini boss was heading right to him with all the calm composure as Reylan Givens from Justified. It was easy to trip up a fool on a moving platform. Digging the heels of his boots with his knees bent into one of the panels of the wheel he would push forward with his feet causing the wheel to move forward in the opposite direction that Ed was coming from. This wasn’t on the same magnitude as Ed’s trip up, but it would hopefully off set the man’s balance as he regained his own.

[Crimson Hawk Hotel - Room #219]

Waiting was right. Hair tied back in a tight ponytail, Barsait's forehead was more prevalent. His brows furrowed, it was clear the quasi-swordsman had woke up hours prior into the early morning. Same as always before a fight, that energetic rumbling in his mind and body that made Omi unable to peacefully slumber. Thankfully, standing upright with his trademark gauntlets and blade in tow, the level of focus within him was too apparent. There was a task at hand. A duty. The day wouldn't flow right until it was taken care of.

"You know it." Kehr's Sign member [Omi Barsait the Serpentine Manipulation Artist] nodded at his team captain, Edward. Every second that separated him from his battle with this "Mutiny" was an eternity.

It was time for him to burn, brighter and hotter than the sun. Frankly, he had not the patience. Battle was slated now.

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

Heaven or Hell chose a lot of scenic locations for their fight rings. It was great mutual advertising, Omi surmised, or else bizarre locations like this game show and his person would never mix.

Still, the strategist could appreciate merriment and enjoyment of this type in a world filled with bloodshed. A welcome distraction.. except this was no game to he. No, this was a ring that could and probably would fill with boiling blood, disguised as a game with quirky little "joke" prizes. It was important not to lose sight of his all consuming, #1 goal. This opponent, simply titled "Lazarus," had to be defeated for the good of his comrades and for the foundation of his ascension. The fun filled atmosphere wouldn't soften Omi. Not at all.

"Interesting.. 12 tiled spinning fight platform with manual and automatic means of rotation. Most of the prizes will be useless.. the bat & nail could prove handy, and the automobile will change the terrain, but that means a 1 in 6 chance of a useful roll. #1 & #2 are too vague and could be props or soda.. so, a #4 or a #6.. however, more relevant is the spinning itself."

Resolute, Barsait finally decided to address his opponent across the 30' diameter wheel. His fierce demeanor was matched by a booming voice this day:

"OI~. Make you a deal. I'll let you spin the wheel with those buttons ahead of you without interference before we take to the ring."

It was a fair enough deal, considering Omi could have spun the wheel himself instead without permission sought. Almost a generous offer, truly. Barsait's upright posture, crimson attire catching the stage lights, were complimented by how stern a gaze his enemy would receive even at their some odd 30 foot distance; an unerring stare. It didn't much matter who spun the wheel, but who first claimed the prize - and not the one this silly show would drop from the ceiling, either. More importantly, it would give Omi a chance to watch in detail the ring spin, gain a feel for its speed and momentum..

..and take firm grasp of this new war.

WAAAH! WAAAH! WAAAH!

Slap!

A swift right hand escaped from underneath the feather comforter that was draped over top of the Sorcerer, and said hand landed right on top of the button titled "snooze". Stopping the obnoxious sound from disturbing the slumbering man any further. Lazarus knew he had set the alarm for a certain reason, it just hadn't hit him quite yet, and another minute or so passed by before he peeked his head out from underneath the comforter. Staring at the current time that was blinking on the front of the electronic device. "Ugh." A groan escaped his mouth, and then he pushed himself up off of the bed. Swinging the bottom half of his body around, and planting his feet upon the ground below the bed. Stretching slightly, a yawn escaped the Sorcerer's mouth, and he eventually stood. "Breakfast." Lazarus spoke, and yawned halfway through his speech. Making his way toward the miniature fridge that had been stationed by the television in front of his bed. Opening it dramatically, and scanning the inside of the refrigerator before his vision landed on something that interested him. A Redbull. Breakfast of champion's. A smile crept upon his face as he reached for the can, once his grasp was on it, the Sorcerer basically yanked it out of the fridge, and popped it open. Bringing it up toward his bottom lip, and tilting it backward. Gulping it down until an inch of liquid settled at the bottom of the canister. "Shower." Blurted from his mouth, and he tossed the empty can into the garbage pail before entering the bathroom. Turning on the faucet, and pulling a lever on the faucet. Letting the shower head pour water down into the bathtub. Adjusting the temperature of the water, and eventually stripping down into nothing but his Birthday suit.

The sound of flowing water stopped abruptly as he got out, and reached for the stack of towel(s) neatly folded atop the back of the toilet. Grabbing an individual towel from the top of the stack, and drying himself off with quick haste. "Teeth." Was the next thing that escaped his mouth, and he immediately grabbed his toothbrush that rested near the end of the sink. Turning on the sink, and running the head of the brush underneath the cold water. Getting it moist enough for his liking, and then he reached for the toothbrush. Bringing it toward his mouth, and latching onto it with his teeth. Twisting it suddenly, and removing the cap with ease. Yanking it from the grasp of his mouth, he squeezed the tube over top of his toothbrush, and covered the head of his toothbrush in the paste. Shoving it into his mouth, the Sorcerer began coating his teeth with the paste, and enjoying the minty-fresh taste it left in his mouth. Spitting, rinsing, and making his way out of the bathroom. Getting dressed, and grabbing his hair gel. "Mohawk." When this escaped his mouth, a cackle followed, and the door was almost kicked open. Lazarus sprinted his way out of the door with the bottle of hair gel inside the palm of his left hand, and squeezed it while he ran. Pouring it out into the his opposite hand, and slicking it through his hair with ease. Making his hair stick up easily, and keeping it there.

Location.: Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods.

Lazarus wouldn't stop sprinting until he had arrived at his destination, and upon arriving he took a moment to catch his breath. An encounter had already started between his Team Captain, and the Captain of the Team they were fighting today. "Edward..." Lazarus spoke while he panted, and gave the man a glare. Leaning forward slightly, Lazarus placed his right hand on his waist, and paused there for a second until his own opponent had spoken up. Briefly looking up, Lazarus rested his vision on the man known as Omi, and gave him a chuckle. "I'm not interested in spinning the wheel, however, I am interested in walking out of his place breathing." The Sorcerer spoke, and laughed sarcastically afterward. It was true, he didn't plan on dying here today, and his opponent had probably planned that out as well. What happened next was a rather sudden action, and it was the throwing of the bottle he held in his left hand. Tossing it rather rudely toward his opponent, and hoping to have it collide with his torso. Not that it would hurt... But, it would prove that Lazarus was ready for action. As soon as the bottle had been tossed, Lazarus began concentrating, and a faint glow started consuming his right hand. Sickly green in color.

It was time.

Status.: Charging.

9Just Naota

The fight was now underway. With Kenji on the ground, though his acquisition of the baseball bat did worry the punk, Edward decided to be even more patient than he usually was in his approach. Surely, he wanted to beat the ever living crap out of his frienemy but there was no rush in this instance or any for that matter. Hence the walking. Plus, running in such a small surface (especially if said surface was able to spin fast) was simply dumb. Thirty feet was an ample enough area to fight, but sprinting at full speed in a straight line would eat up those ten yards of distance in no time. It was just unnecessary for the same reason boxers don't charge their opponents from across the ring.

However, though he'd have enough time to stand, Kenji cautiously caused the the wheel to move to buy time. The cyberpunk was at mid-step at the time and it easily tripped him up a bit. He wouldn't fall onto his feet or break a hip or something, but the momentary lapse of balance would award Kenji with more than enough time to gain his feet. Of course, Edward would right himself as well and continue his advance. He didn't feel the need to attack just yet, knowing full well that his strength advantage would be leaving him soon, but not caring either way.

"It's sad that you need a bat to make this bout even," Ed mentioned with a sardonic expression, goading Kenji into a confrontation that was inevitable.

Somewhere between the moments of waking up and heading out the changeling was hard at work with some diligent workouts. It became habit for him to tackle a tape or two before really getting a start on his day, and to the dismay of those stuck in the same room he often did so in a pair of crusty, old, worn out, torn up, stretched out underwear. He wasn't really sure if they ever stuck around or protested, much less did he really give a damn, but chances were he missed them as he spent some leisure time hunting down some food in the hedge for his morning meal. Regardless, he took to the task of clenching and unclenching his a** to the hypnotic voice of the instructor with all the bravado and grace of a beached whale to the full content of his heart as he finished the final minutes of his Buns of Steel workout.

So he did his thing, probably got a few gags along the way, grubbed down on some goblin fruit, did his usual morning rounds before making his way out of the hotel. He was in no particular rush going out either, taking his time as he casually strolled along the pathways and sidewalks till he got where he needed to go.

smilies/icon_arrow.gif Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods

And by the looks of things he was probably a running a little late, as the cleanup crew was already clearing out the mess from the previous round. It wasn't long before he showed up that the crew finished up their chores and began clearing the way for the next round. The ogre took this as a sign and, regardless of who was coming next or what his team was bound to say, the slugger would shuffle his way on up to ringside and cast his gaze around the disk to observe the prizes until something in particular caught the ogre's eye.

"Boxers? THEY HAVE BOXERS!?!?" He'd scream out with all the joy of an adolescent screeching out for candy.

And with that he'd reach out, grip the wheel, and send that b*****d into one hell of a spin. Being 7'3" and built for pain that wheel was going to be spinning fast from the start and it'd take a quite a few clicks for it to slow down enough for him to jump on, so he took the time to grip up his bat in one hand and to check the pair of knuckles dangling across the back of his worn out jeans to make sure they were still there. Once The wheel slowed down enough for him to hop on without instantly getting grounded the changeling would throw himself on top of the wheel and balance himself evenly on the outside edge before he slowly started to walk inward to the inner rings.

Of course he was keeping an eye out for any opposition, no telling when some chump was going to try to jump in and try to steal away his prize.

The Hawk

This was his second year in Heaven or Hell. He should be excited, ecstatic even, that he was going to relive another fairy-tale story. But no... no he was not. Yasuo Katsuhiro was grumpy today, and had hardly been as social as he once was in the prior year. In fact, after his preliminary match-up it was like he had tuckered away into his standard sized suite bed, resting and catching up with the sleep he had lost from his travels. It was to no avail today, and it certainly showed in his face.

"Ughh..." he said as his FIGHTER vibrated around his wrist. Information on his team making it to the next round had been provided days earlier, as indicated by a swath of notifications in the form of an E-letter. Today, it told him where they were to fight and whom they were up against.

Code: Team: Kehr's Sign

Place: Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods

When: Now

"Heeeeh..." he would sigh, angrily forcing himself to his feet. His equipment was in a secure storage closet in an equally non-secure broom closet. Spy contradictions aside, he'd open it up, suit up and get all of his stuff ready for the fight ahead. Facemask on, bracers, shin-guards and chestpiece ready. Blades... gotta have those. And of course the tags and his gourd of water were necessary. It was gonna be a nice day, if this morning grumpyness subsided.

Heading downstairs and passing by his "Number one fan" receptionist, Yasuo paid little attention to her cries of good luck. He was feeling a little more like a douchebag every day that passed. It was almost... disgusting. He headed off though, with no intentions and zero regard for safety. Yeah... he was ready alright.

The Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods

Arriving behind everyone else it had seemed, Yasuo had shown up in the knick of time. A large ogre had apparently been chosen as his opponent - lucky him - and it was on a spinning wheel to boot, so the sense of balance wasn't normally going to be in his favor. He'd get around...

"So, you!" He'd call out. "You're a big one aren't ya? Mother fed you very well..." Despite his argumentative state, Yasuo approached with calm ease. He took the gourd's strap from around his shoulder and placed it down on the edge of the wheel's housing/outer wall, before hopping up and landing on the already spinning wheel. Yasuo was about 3/4's around the wheel, or in relative standing at the Ogre's 3 o'clock position. Closer than he had wanted to be, but an adrenaline rush that woke him up.

"What are you capable of?!" He yelled, immediately drawing his blade with his right hand. A large opponent like this demanded something a little more damaging.

Wigi continued on until he got in the middle of the disk, picking up the pace a little to reach the sweet spot a little faster in case the newcomer decided to grab for the prize. The man wasn't much what he expected, some sword toting pansy or something. Regardless the changeling would retort in proper. "Yo momma sho did. Gave me a happy ending and everything." He'd call to the blade wielding hack with a joyful sneer. "b***h knows her way around the kitchen, that's for sure."

The wheel would come to a screeching halt as the pointer clicked over the bag of signed clubs by the man Gambino himself. Nice guy and all it seemed, though a little crazy as the changeling recalled. The lumbering giant looked a little dismayed though, despite the nice catch on collector's clubs. "Dissapointing..." He groaned to himself as the clubs ejected into the air complete with a fancy bag of some kind. Wigi wasn't much of a golfer after all and was a bit more attuned to snatching undergarments, but he did pretty well with catch too. So as that bag came hurling down the ogre would snatch the bag mid-air with his free hand ((left)) before pivoting slightly to face Yasuo face to face and letting that bag fly.

Of course a golf set isn't all that light, that's why the pros get some poor b*****d of a ball shagger to hulk those things around. Its also why they get those little karts to buzz them from course to course. But with the way the ogre handled the bag he made it look like he was tossing around a bag of feathers. The bag would flip around and smash into Yasuo diagonally across the gut, provided he didn't try to avoid the bag and all. But just in case he was smart enough to dodge away from a big, hulking bag Wigi would be on his way in a mad dash towards the pansy blader soon after the bag set sail.

13The Haelstrom Fist

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

Anytime now, that strange man with a distinct Mohawk would spin the wheel, and give Omi his answers. Surely, the enemy wouldn't waste any precious time, it was completely pointless to do so given the same buttons lied in front of Barsait and he would just do what Lazarus would not. It was an exercise in futility. No one, least of all in the ring of honor, would be so incredibly lacking their mental faculties that they would actually delay the process. Not a one!

"I'm not interested in spinning the wheel, however, I am interested in walking out of his place breathing."

And then, the Mohawk with a body attached threw a bottle of hair gel.

Barsait's right eye twitched, his cheek rising up to meet the agitated eyelids. Besides the fact they had a clear field of vision of each other, there was slightly more than thirty feet separating the two. Bar Omi having the reflexes of a diseased howler monkey, even if the bottle was some kind of hidden weapon.. all he had to do was raise his right hand and literally slap it aside as it came in front of him in a horizontal motion. Which he did. The bottle would clatter onto the [Wheel], gooey gel sloshing out.

"... wh.."

Teeth bared and gritting together in sheer shocked dismay, Omi knew it would be foolish to write his opponent off as an idiot. But it was tempting. All the same, his right hand impatiently slammed down onto one of the [Wheel]'s panel buttons. A whine filled the air as the engine used to rotate the b*****d platform began strong, funny noises and lights blinking. As the wheel got spinning proper, the bottle of hair gel rattled, then whipped offstage towards 2'o'clock if Omi was 6 and Mutiny's fighter was 12.

Eyes widening as his vision of Lazarus (and vice versa) faded, the wheel while not so fast it would drill into the earth, was fast. He'd have to wait until the wheel came to a stop before even getting on the platform, unless he was intent on falling onto his a**. He was not. So, Barsait decided to pass away the precious moments with a little preparation work, left hand tensing up as it prepared for duty.

How upsetting. Omi had completely deflected the bottle Lazarus propelled across the room, and knocked it onto the Wheel that was stationary in front of the two of them. Gel spilling from the opening of the bottle, and splattering across the Arena. Lazarus' facial expression turned into that of a frown once he realized his precious hair cosmetic had been wasted, and yet he still had hope for the rest of it being salvageable. That small hope he had would soon be washed down the drain, however, due to Omi's spinning of the contraption. More gel leaking from the bottle, and spreading even further across the Arena. Maybe that wasn't the best idea the Sorcerer had come up with, seeing as now the platform he would be fighting on was probably quite slippery in select area(s), spread equally across it. Once the Wheel had stopped, Lazarus stepped up onto it, and made his way toward the center of the Wheel. Stopping just outside of the center, and continuing his concentration on the spell he had been conjuring since his presence was first announced.

Shnnk!

This was the sound of Lazarus tugging free the Glaive stationed on his back from the sheath it rested in, and wielding it momentarily with his left hand. Aiming the sharp end of the blade down toward the ground, and keeping it that way until it was needed otherwise. Lazarus' right hand continued to glow, and eventually radiated out further. Consuming his entire hand, and began to slowly spread up the remainder of his arm. One charge had been completed, and Lazarus was concentrating even further on another one. "I guess it's time we get this started, whenever you are ready, sir." Lazarus spoke calmly, and switched the position of his Glaive. Tilting it horizontally, and latching onto the handle with his right hand. Moving his left hand further down the handle, and wielding it accordingly. As soon as his right hand touched the weapon, the sickly green glow soon fell from his fist, and began radiating from the handle of the Glaive.

However, the Glaive wouldn't remain in his possession for very long, and would in fact be turned upside down in a split second. Flipping it around, and aiming the blade of the weapon toward the very ground he had been standing on. With one swift motion, the Sorcerer shoved the blade of the Glaive into the ground, and simply left it there. Allowing the Corruption to manifest further, and increase the chance of it spreading onto the Battlefield. Spreading across the Arena three feet in diameter(per post). Stepping once to the left, Lazarus would raise his right arm, and leave it docile in the air for a moment. Opening his palm in the air, and pulling back each finger in one motion. Motioning his opponent forward in a taunting gesture.

Status.: One charge complete; passed onto Glaive. Second; charging.

15Striker Nightmare

Wheel of Moderately priced goods:

"Go ahead, team one. Show Omi Barsait what he has won!"

The radio chirped, and the two men sitting above the stage watching through little glass plates in the floor nodded, and then scratched their heads as they checked the list in their hands and then looked to the items. Omi had apparently won the katana set, but what they saw here was a massive crate that apparently said "Ornamental toy katanas" on the side, and the box appeared to be nailed or sealed tightly shut. Confused once more, the men considered radioing back, but one of them decided to be a smart a** and open the giant trap door that was directly in the middle of the room below them. With a grunt, the man pressed his entire body against the crate, and before his partner could stop him, the massive crate went sliding through the opening, aiming to smash directly down on the ground below the trap door.

Also below the trap door, right in the center of the room, stood Omi Barsait's opponent. The men up above let out a miserable wail as they realized they were about to lose their jobs, and then, they quickly sealed the trap door. Inside of the crate, apparently, rested 174 plastic katanas, all aimed to replicate the real thing.

16The Haelstrom Fist

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

The wheel had came to a stop, and Lazarus had ascended to begin obvious battle preparations. To top it, Barsait's number had been chosen: #12.. a damned ceremonial sword set? Of four hypothetically useful items, he would of course get one of the trash jokes. Typical! Even more annoying is that he wasted time - time his opponent got to put to good use, preparing for combat.

"Go ahead, team one. Show Omi Barsait what he has won!"

"Something ******** useless." The artist grumbled mentally. Frustration was mounting; he played into the game, and was punished for it! Gazing towards the ceiling, where the game show specified one's prize would fall, the impromptu swordsman figured he would at least watch as Lazarus picked up the dulled show swords. After all, that had to be why Lazarus went to the very location the prizes drop; there was little possibility a [Mutiny] representative would be so dense as to forget such a detail as..

as...

Omi Barsait's mind blanked at what he witnessed. His vantage point being quite a bit lower than Lazarus, it was easy to see the crate as it began its descent. Huge, weighty.. awe filled the strategist. Was he supposed to be surprised, dismayed..?

A mixture of both seized his muscles, for his right hand grasped the nearest object to rest upon palm-first so Omi could get a better view of his opponent in relation to this falling crate.

That object being.. one of the [Wheel]'s spin buttons.

Hand forcibly retracted as the familiar shining lights blinked and loud noises blared from speakers on high, the wheel began its rapid spinning yet again - this time, with two new factors in store. A wheel-bound dependent (Lazarus) and an independent (a falling, very large crate).

Omi Barsait's jaw dropped slightly, right cheek twitching like it wanted to smile though his brain stilled it. This was like a train wreck. You felt bad, but..

.. you had to watch.

...God damn it, Austin.

Lazarus might not of been too bright when location was what mattered most, but, if there was anything that made him realize he made a mistake it was a loud noise. Hearing a compartment open up in the ceiling above him was his first clue, and the Sorcerer tilted his head upward just a little bit. Enough to catch glimpse of the falling object, and he reacted quickly. Grabbing hold of his Glaive with each hand, yanking it from the ground, and dodge rolling forward. Keeping the weapon in front of him in a horizontal position, and forcing it onto the ground first. Lazarus' roll came after that. Sitting there in a crouched position, Lazarus' face turned into a horrified expression as he realized exactly what Omi had just done. Mouthed the Sorcerer just as the button had been pressed.

Luckily for Lazarus, he had already dodged the falling crate, now he just had to keep himself from losing the Redbull he drank until the Wheel stopped moving. Not just that, though, Lazarus also had to keep an eye on Omi. Just in case he decided on doing something while he was trapped on the rotating platform. Except, that was extremely hard, due to the fact that he was constantly moving. So, immediately after the Wheel started moving, Lazarus peeked over his shoulder as best he could, and tried to keep Omi in his peripheral vision.

Luck just happened to be in Lazarus' favor today. The Corruption that had been passed onto his weapon had enough time to be passed onto the Wheel itself. Sickly green radiation fading from the Glaive, and forming on the impact site of the blade. Which was now probably covered by the crate that had been dropped from the ceiling, maybe it was for the best, since Omi would have no idea what was taking place until it grew larger. Now that Lazarus had a pool started, he could finally attack his opponent from the rotating Wheel. But it needed a bit of time to charge. So; until then, he just had to deal with potentially vomiting in Omi's general direction, or all over himself.

Status.: First charge placed onto ground of Wheel. Second; charge located on upper right arm; bicep.

However, though he'd have enough time to stand, Kenji cautiously caused the the wheel to move to buy time. The cyberpunk was at mid-step at the time and it easily tripped him up a bit.

Well this was uninteresting.

Years of knowing Ed, he kind of knew what he was doing by now. He remembered sitting around a barrel of fire drinking light beer in the trailer park with the guy. They would talk about battle strategy. Many days were spent making fun of each other, but Kenji had to admit Edward's cautious approach was a pretty viable one. Let your opponent make the first mistake. Let him slip up.

But it was Ed who just slipped up.

Around the perimeter of the wheel were big, red buttons labeled "SPIN" in big, white font. From where he was situated Kenji had no chance of leaning over to press one, but it wasn't too far fetched to think he could hit one with his baseball bat. It wasn't like he had planned on using it to fight Ed. On his tournament sheet he had got cleared up to using many weapons such as a sword, chainsaw, and switchblade for example. He only thought one of those would be useful against the cyborg, so why would he need to go the end of the inning with the bat?

He didn't.

Game on.

Just after he pushed the wheel to trip up Edward, Kenji would throw the bat at the closest spin button. It was a direct hit. Not bad for this rookie pitcher.

The wheel was now in its second spin. The wheel was spinning him forward and that would mean it was spinning Ed backwards. Using this surge of momentum he would jump up to his feet and would launch forward at his frienemy who had lost his balance right at the same time the wheel began to spin again.

Kenji's Move Set Wrote:

"My hands won't get baby butt soft!" - Before Kenji was bestowed with the ability to create and manipulate his own fire, he had to use magical stones that allowed him to control external flames from torches and lighters. However this often lead to his hands being scorched and burned. So to defend himself from himself he developed a magic that would use little of his own energy to harden his hands while allowing them to function normally to the point that they could handle being burned. In turn this makes his hands rock hard allowing his hands to withstand anything from burns to cuts to stabs. He can use this to grab swords, incoming bareball bats, and stabs from spears and the like.

His hands turned rock hard. It was a remnant of the days when he had geomancy before he lost the ability to use it. Nothing satisfied him more than causing earthquakes, but at least he still could make his fists as tough as stone for awhile.

"Domo arigato," Kenji said, throwing a right punch at the cyborg's face.

His right fist would simultaneously fire a basketball sized fireball right off the tip of his knuckles point blank at Ed. But the fireball wasn't aimed at his face. Oh no, it was aimed at the robot's midsection where is stomach meets his groin. Kenji could move, shape, and direct his fire magic in anyway he saw fit, which was exactly how he was able to have the fireball shoot toward Ed's tummy area instead of his face. The fireball wouldn't explode, but it would scorch and burn through his clothing in a matter of a few seconds and would cause his johnson to get some nasty burns.

He'd call to the blade wielding hack with a joyful sneer.

"Did yo-...", Yasuo was caught off guard by this hulking beasts words. The fact that he had insulted his mother was one thing. The unknown knowledge to him was that Yasuo's mother was brutally murdered when he was young. This Ogre had touched upon a subject that was an emotional red button for the shinobi - and it already wasn't settling well. The wheel clicked to a halt and a trap door opened above the center of it, releasing a... uh... set of Gambino signed golf clubs.

Well that wasn't exactly expected. Alas, they were nost wasted by the giant of a creature he faced - as Wigi snatched the bag out of the air, Yasuo bent his knees and prepared himself for what was as obvious as an elephant in the room. When the clubs were whipped forward, the shinobi jumped up as high as he could get himself. The wheel clanked in its housing and the clubs clacked on by below his feet.

And that was the easy part...

Yasuo's eyes focused intently on the now charging individual, and at the peak of his jump it became more than obvious that the Ogre was going to crash into him before he could even touch the ground. It was ok though - just this once at least.

The Iwa-Jounin brought his knee's up as he fell towards the ground, awaiting what looked to be an iminent death-tackle. He focused upon his feet, watching and timing, until finally the Ogre's face was within a few feet of the shinobi. In his feet, Yasuo had focused a pressurized jolt of Chakra ready to explode upon impact - and so it would. This powerful blast of energy added a kinetic blast to what would already have been a wonderful dropkick to the face.

Launching out his legs to meet with the oncoming Ogre's face, the shinobi would attempt to do two things - disorient the giant and launch off of him in a single, well-timed movement.

If all was successful, Yasuo would backflip and land upon one knee around the contestants podium area.

Along the way, the platinum haired fighter made sure to stop at an ATM, as she'd already formed up something of a plan for her arrival. Pulling out several clean and crisp 100's, she'd continue on her way to the studio that the fight was supposed to be held at. It didn't take the fighter long to find her way there and get inside. Though, she stopped and spoke for a short while with what appeared to be at technician, passing the bills not so discreetly into his hands.

Smirking now, she took her leave for the main room. Sokoya was aware that she was late, but she didn't care. She wanted to make a good entrance. And so as she stepped out onto the chaotic scene, a voice would interject over the intercoms.

"********!" Edward exclaimed, trying as hard as he could to remain standing as the Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods began to spin again. The motion of the wheel making him move backwards in accordance with the wheel's spin; making the only thing keeping the cyborg from falling onto his back (at Kenji's mercy no doubt) so far was his uncanny balance. It pays to be able to put your leg up at an extreme obtuse angle and still be able to stand straight sometimes. Though something told Edward that falling wasn't apart of Kenji's plans, considering the criminal was now approaching him for an attack.

The first attack (based on speed) was the fireball. It was something that the cyberpunk just dreaded, knowing full well that one such attack hitting the right spot could easily end the fight and end him as well. What goes around does come around, so perhaps Edward should have thought twice before trying to light Desecrator on fire. To Kenji's detriment, however, while Edward moved backwards in a constant curve (noting the structure of a wheel/circle) in conjunction with the spinning wheel the fireball certainly did not. It moved a straight path while the two opponent's spun around in a fast circle. The fireball nearly clipped Edward, feeling the intense heat on his skin as the magical attack passed him by. A good thing for a direct hit like that could have easily ended the fight, and again could have ended his life if the fire spread throughout the flammable clothes he was wearing. His hoodie was flame-retardant but that didn't mean it wasn't flammable, or that the rest of his clothes wasn't either.

He didn't have time to be relieved though. Not with Kenji still in the midst of his onslaught.

However, unlike the fireball, Kenji himself was moving in accordance to the wheel and so his punch rendered an entirely different result. The criminal's stone fist collided with his jaw painfully, aggravating an injury that had been sustained in the previous round. Edward saw stars and fell over despite having tried so hard to remain on his feet, and proceeded to do what was so instinctive and common of off-balanced persons who were falling. Firstly, the punk stumbled a bit more, and secondly reached out to grab anything with both arms that in desperation might keep him standing. In this case, Kenji was the only option.

The cyberpunk would fall on his back without a doubt, but if successful would pull Kenji down with him. It wasn't the best plan though it was expected because all that really happened was Edward had an "HOLY ******** I"M FALLING" moment. And that wasn't really planned to start with.

"Mata o hima de," Kenji let out, withdrawing his right fist.

Out of everyone he had ever fought, Edward Queensborough may hold the record for most times punched in the face by Kenji Hood. It was a wonder how he didn't look like Mickey Rourke because he must have had some kind of plastic surgery to keep that face in some kind of check. And this latest punch may have been Kenji's toughest. His fist was hard as a ******** rock. Slamming into cyborg's jaw like that had to cause damage to his circuit board.

The robot was now in a dizzy. The Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods was coming to a close with its spin, and he was about to land flat on his back like a fourteen year old virgin. The only viable option he had was to grab onto anything to keep him from being deflowered on global television. That anything was Kenji.

Eddy's grubby, little hand snagged Kenji's shirt. The cyborg weighed a lot more than he looked, and that was enough to lurch Kenji forward a bit. The only good thing for him was that Ed didn't get a hold of his whole arm. The flannel material ripped as Kenji pulled laying the robot out on his back with a

THUD!!

It was a slight relief to know he was able to get out of Ed's grasp. As much as it looked on TV that he had the upper hand, he would have lost it if he had gotten in a situation where he was sprawling around on the ground like a fish out of water. And that would have been exactly what he would have been.

He didn't bother to notice what had just fallen out of the ceiling. His full attention was on what to do with Ed. He knew pulling some jujitsu bullshit would get him killed against a robot and kicking and hitting him like a dead hooker would get him more than a one star wanted level.

Right as Ed had landed, Kenji would hold out his right palm like Vegeta aiming an energy blast and would fire a golf ball sized fireball at Edward's chest. It wasn't a significantly strong fireball much like his first one, but he wanted to conserve as much energy as possible. It was the equivalent of getting some hot kindling from a campfire that could burn through your clothes but could easily be brushed aside with a swipe of a hand.

Kenji meant it more as a warning shot to show the robot he could have smoked him like Buddy's Barbecue.

The signs of joy sparked from the ogre's face at the piss-poor reaction the ninja had at his bit of joking around. That feeling of wrath was like a welcome home present to the changeling, who in normal circumstances would take the time to feed off said feelings. Being a rare race in gaia it wasn't likely known that emotions were the source of glamour and power, second only to contracts and pacts in the fae world. Given that they were mid-combat it was obviously not the time or place, but Wigi took good note of that intense feeling that Yasuo was giving off and found comfort in its very essence.

So the bag sailed under the punk who decided it was best to just jump over the clubs and go sailing overhead. Given that wigi had a good 7-8 feet to cover in that short time it wasn't going to be hard to spot the jumping drop kick from coming in, though he had to admit that it was one hell of a leap. So Wigi tromped forward a step or two, however long it took for him to see the lord a leaping, before planting himself down at just the right distance to come in with a full on diagonal two-handed batter swing straight to the side of the b*****d's kneecap. He took the split second that was needed to position the hands on the bat just right before taking the shot at Yasuo's left knee ((as Wigi is swinging right to left)), and his aim wouldn't be half bad, considering he's had a few home runs in his lifetime (not to mention Ed had one hell of a fastball with that cybernetic arm of his). Needless to say getting beaned by this joker was the last thing on his mind.

But that wasn't all.

When struck by the vibrations the surface of the object vibrates uncontrollably and becomes more difficult to grasp as a result.

Against everything else: 2x damage

Cooldown: 4 turns after use.

Ogres hit hard. Changeling Ogres hit harder! By infusing his strike with that special bit of glamour Wigi can up the ante to any of those home run hits with his bat by twice his normal strength. And being a 7'3", 324 lb. mass of knee shattering pain that blow was going to be devastating. And make no mistake... a full swing by a supernaturally charged giant whose main talent was breaking s**t permanently wasn't going to be something anyone was going to walk away from easily, if they could even walk with whatever was left after such a hit.

If all went as planned and the bat connected as intended, the ninja's kick would probably be shoved to the side or thrown off course completely. Worst case scenario ((maybe)) the kick would land on his shoulder, but such was unlikely with the upward swing. Better odds were the body would come crashing into his shoulder or chest, knocking him back a notch or two and throwing him off balance, but since the wheel wasn't spinning again yet he wouldn't be going down from that bit of a tumble.

The cyborg hit the ground with the aforementioned THUD sound with only a piece of flannel fabric in his left hand. His head swam a bit and the taste of blood became apparent in his mouth. Ed must have bit his own tongue on the way down. This had to be the worst start to any fight the cyborg had ever been in. Perhaps he wasn't as good as he thought he was, or perhaps he was too used to fighting idiots that fighting someone who could rub two brain cells together was difficult to get used. Whatever it was, Edward had to fix that st now and fast. It was embarrassing to him. His family. What fans he does have. But more importantly his team. Actually, no. ****** those guys. Most importantly was himself.

He wouldn't be beaten by Kenji. Not here and not ever.

Edward's left arm brushed off the "kindling" which didn't do much to his flame-retardant hoodie, but was more than enough to make Kenji's message loud and clear. No long ******** around, the punk went into a swift backwards roll that placed him on his sneakers in absolutely no time. And it was on. If Kenji wasn't already attacking, Ed was prepared to make the first attack. In an orthodox stance, he'd take one step forward with his left leg before throwing a jab at Kenji's face with his cybernetic left arm. It was unlikely to hit but it was only just the beginning.

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

A sigh of relief fled Omi's lips. All of that was rather bizarre, and yet the last thing he needed was some corrupt game show offing his opponent for him. The large wooden crate smashed against the wheel's center, groaning and one of the panels near falling off if not for sturdy nails attempting their damnedest to keep the shoddy packaging together.

All the same, Barsait was no fool. Though he wasn't sure of the specifics yet, it was obvious his opponent was preparing something.. nasty in the center of this wheel'of'death. Why else would he refuse to leave the [Wheel]'s center when by all other means, it would place Lazarus at a disadvantage? The answer was simple: it gave the best line of sight and vantage point of the environment. Furthermore, thanks to the nasty hair gel spraying all over, it was highly unlikely for Barsait to reach the "summit" quick enough. Highly dangerous was charging into battle headfirst; by all logical counts, Lazarus had the territorial advantage.

.. not that this daunted the artist, of course. As the wheel whined down to a halt, lights blinking and cued applause filling the air, his new prize was made readily apparent. #10.. a..

"OMI BARSAIT! You've just won a Rubber Core Diamond KATANA~!"

..useless prop that would fall from the ceiling "tip" first, bouncing off the top of the crate and rattling towards the wheel's 3'o'clock. Useless by itself, the strategist felt his mind jogged clear by the sound of that emanating beat. In other words, he had an idea. A fun one.

Quickly formulating a "map" in his head:

-Lazarus just rolled in front of the wooden crate. Seemingly too interested in where he is located, and having too many hazards to leave said area, there is an "inner circle" he is sticking to.

-This means Lazarus is just off-center towards 6'o'clock. 10'o'clock - 2'o'clock would have a difficult time catching him, but 3'o'clock through 9'o'clock would have an extremely easy vantage point. This is a two-way street; Lazarus wouldn't be able to see someone at 12'o'clock, logically, because there's a large crate in the way.

-Height difference..

"Hn!" A trademark sound of humored wit if he had one. Considering the facts above, what if there was a place where Omi could attack Lazarus from 3-9, yet Lazarus would have no vantage point to attack Omi at all? Now, wouldn't that be ideal!

Ideals won wars.

Suddenly bashing his own body against the side of the [Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods], Omi flashed a final smile at Lazarus.. and then disappeared. To be more precise, he was hugging the sides of the wheel at a slant, clutching onto this Merry-Go-Round-of-Death for all he could. From the top of the wheel however, this would make the crimson adorned warrior go "poof" - you couldn't see him! But what good would that do, Lazarus knew where Omi was hiding..

.. except an uncertain left hand slid along the wheel edge, and tapped one of the spin buttons.

Spin~ SPIN! Omi's left hand quickly retracted, grasping onto the sides for traction with silent prayer filling his brain - when blood wasn't pumping to it, of course. 9'o'clock, 3'o'clock, 7'o'clock, 2'o'clock, 11 o'clock - thank god he hadn't eaten a thing this morning, else there'd be a vomit tornado in Heaven or Hell. Still, he had to focus.. the background was a blur of colors like you'd see in a nightmare, but one fact remained solid: the audience and spectators were towards the south, 6'o'clock. By this standard, Omi could piece together his relative location per spin. Tensing his left hand furthermore, it was time to get to work- as a crimson mass began to exit the pores of each fingertip's flesh..

..however, of interest was that Omi Barsait's left amber brown eye was beginning to quiver.

"Remind me to decapitate those han--- God damn it!" Blurted out of the Sorcerer's mouth right before his opponent had pressed the button once more, and he was cut off right when the Wheel had begun spinning again. Lazarus had made quite the mistake giving Omi control over the contraption they were battling on, but at this point, there was nothing he could really do. Except enjoy the ride that had been initiated once more. Crouched still, Lazarus stood up slowly, and cautiously. Keeping his footing, and avoiding falling quite easily. Now that he had proper footing, Lazarus needed to pinpoint his opponent's location, and he had absolutely no idea where he was. Looking over his shoulder, and scanning the area in front of him. Absolutely nothing. "Come out, come out, wherever you are..." Lazarus whispered, and began chuckling quite madly.

Lazarus' small pool of Corruption had grown quite a bit since he first started it. Growing dramatically in size from a small pool into a nine foot in diameter pool. Whenever Omi did reveal himself; he was in for one hell of a surprise.

It was time to put the fire magic on the top shelf. Needing it and wanting to use it for sick excitement were two different things. At the moment Ed wasn't doing much harm. The only reason he was using fire was to whet his own appetite.

He never considered himself much of a pyromaniac. That label was overused by gay Juggalo kids sitting outside Hot Topic with a pack of matches. But he did get turned on by what he could do with fire. Seeing heaps of everything around him burn was to him the same as a tool enjoying a romantic sunset on the beach.

Did that make him a pyromaniac? Probably, but it didn't make him any more of a freak than he already was. He just knew he needed to put his urges behind him, or his new magics would be his new herion. Like his drugs, he didn't have an unlimited supply of kickass fire to dig into. A new addiction to deal with would only hurt him more.

Edward did a backward roll, but Kenji had the advantage of already being on his feet, so he stepped forward with his left foot and would simultaneously throw a cheap, low right kick with the toe of his boot directly to Ed's exposed spine. The blow would be hard, but the criminal wasn't completely sure how effective it would be against an anatomy of a cyborg.

The robot was back on his feet and was facing him directly with a face full of self righteous determination.

"Know what?" Kenji asked mockingly, letting down his guard some. "You've always been a ******** pus - "

THWACK!

Fist met Kenji's face. Blood flung off his bottom lip.

Immediately, he put his guard back up. The cyborg was as angry as a microwave that someone forgot to take out their TV dinner of for thirty minutes. In retaliation Kenji would throw a wild left punch at Ed's face.

5/17

28Just Naota

Though pain assailed him in both his jaw and now his back, Edward still managed to get to his feet after the roll and immediately threw his jab. The jab hit with a loud SMACK sound as Kenji was flapping his gums, grinning with the utmost satisfaction when his opponent finally shut the ******** up. Humbling your opponent was probably one of the greatest feelings a person could get whilst fighting, and Edward busting Kenji's lip while he was talking was as humbling as humbling can get.

They were both serious now.

The pair had fought one another only a handful of times; this time being the fairest one thus far. But one thing was for sure, they'd seen each other fight and fought alongside each other more times than they could count. Well, Edward (thanks to his cyber-brain) could probably dish out an accurate number, but that wasn't the point. Kenji and Edward were well-versed in the other's fighting style, and better than all others knew how to best kick the other's a. Kenji's success in the first few moments of the fight being "Exhibit A" of just that. But while Kenji was great at just being a straight of a***e, more so than the punk himself, Edward was an extremely accomplished melee fighter and Kenji was now in the cyborg's domain.

As the opponent threw his wild punch, the cyberpunk swiftly slipped low and to the right. Kenji's attack failing completely as it passed overhead. Simultaneously, a second jab would be thrown, except this time from half the distance away (and towards Kenji's nose) than the first as Ed's cybernetic arm never reeled back fully. Additionally, in a blink of an eye the cyborg's left arm extended mechanically another eight inches, making Ed's reach unparalleled and not to mention leaving Kenji with the most basic amount of time to react.

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

As the wheel whined to a stop, Lazarus was cackling in a bemused manner - that much, Omi could hear, however faintly over the sound of audience chatter. However, it was distant.. quiet. That meant Lazarus was keeping his distance in spades. Proof positive the man had a ranged weapon of some type, and was confident in its chances of defeating the strategist.

"Idiot. Make your plans readily available and even a child could prevent them." Mental chiding was all he could offer his opponent, since vocalizing this would be disadvantageous. Frowning slightly, Barsait had been slowly shimmying along the wheel exterior as quietly as possible to further make his approximate location hard to decipher, in a counterclockwise rotation. If he had a guess, he'd say he was at 11'o'clock, but it was hard to ascertain that for certain just yet.

Left eye shaking stronger.. stronger.. the white suddenly flooded dark green, the pupil flooding a vibrant red. One would assume the man possessed if they watched this bizarre side-show, his eyelids quivering as he did his very best to keep them wide open.

Sure enough, his thumb serpent's jaw gaped wide, an "eye" forming in it. His left eye's vision transferred in turn, everything within taking on a red hue. Despite having used this mechanic numerous times, it was still never easy to get over having your right eye see what was in front of it, yet your left not. All the same, Omi now had quite a mischievous little plan in mind.

Outstretched left hand's fingertips stretching out as far as they could, his crimson serpents slowly began to stretch from them - all five, wrapping around the perimeter of the wheel while keeping at his chest's height so their dim glow wouldn't give away his location. Several tense moments saw his pinky finger serpent stretch as far as 6' counterclockwise around the wheel.

His ring finger came to 5', his middle finger came to 4', his index finger came to 2', and his thumb serpent- by giving a "thumps up" at himself, began to travel in the opposite direction, clockwise. It traveled roughly 3' the opposite direction. It took some effort to keep his breath rate consistent - this was a rather tense job, with some high stakes. If this plan of his worked.. the fight would be his.

Opening his jaw, Barsait's tongue flicked to the left and right - and the thumb serpent followed suit, shaking its head to the right and left, his left eye's vision following suit. This way, he could manipulate the "camera snake" independent of the "assault snakes." Now, it was time to spring his plan, successful or ill-fated, into action..

"Three.. two.." Impulsively, Omi wanted to lick his lips, but stilled the urge. "One.. ACTIVATE."

At once, Omi instigated an orchestra of actions.

Serpentine Condition Wrote:

[Left Hand] - each serpent is being controlled by its individual finger, in very gradual motions so Omi may retain his grip on the side of the wheel and not be flung into the crowd.

[+]Little Finger Serpent (6' counterclockwise from Omi) flies over the wheel edge, reaching 3' above the wheel floor. Being right by a set of the "SPIN" buttons, Omi's pinky curves, causing this snake to arc sharp and smash itself against them. (STRIKING)

[+]Ring Finger Serpent (5' counterclockwise from Omi) flies over the wheel edge, reaching 3' above the wheel floor. Omi works his tongue slightly to the left, and spotting a particularly thick clump of hair gel a few feet ahead, sends this snake screaming towards it by stretching his ring forward outward. (STRIKING)

[+]Middle Finger Serpent (4' counterclockwise from Omi) flies over the wheel edge, reaching 3' above the wheel floor. Realizing he was more or less correct on his position on the wheel (around 11'o'clock), he has no immediate sight of Lazarus - but DOES see the large wooden crate. His middle finger extends outward, causing this snake to bound straight towards it. (STRIKING)

[+]Index Finger Serpent (2' counterclockwise from Omi) flies over the wheel edge, reaching 3' above the wheel floor. This snake is close to where the bottle was last seen before the wheel spinning sent it flying off into the metaphorical sunset. A large glob of hair gel is on the floor just underneath it, and so Omi arcs his index finger as well, sending this serpent crashing into the wheel floor. (STRIKING)

[Tongue] - Controlled by Omi's tongue, this serpent is effectively a remote camera at the moment.

[+]Thumb Serpent (3' clockwise from Omi) is guided over the wheel edge at a tight angle, hugging the edge so as to watch Lazarus without making itself too obvious. It is by this snake, Omi is guiding the rest from his position - matting his tongue down against the floor of his mouth to in suit, make the snake hug the wheel floor. However, at the moment, he can only see the crate - as it blocks his vision of Lazarus from the 11'o'clock perspective. (KNAVISH EYE)

[Emphasis]: Omi's Thumb Serpent is the "control" element, and his remaining four serpents are attacking either the crate, the hair gel, and one is crashing itself against one of the spin buttons.

"OMI BARSAIT! You've won BLUE CRYSTAL s**t THROWBACK! Please-"

His ability to hear the announcer's voice was cut off as Omi bit down hard. His teeth crashed together just ahead of his own tongue. A signal. At once, all his snakes lit ablaze from their heads on down- and in turn, the snake tasked with spinning the wheel for him was a complete success! A bottle would fall, uncelebrated, from the ceiling- breaking on the wooden crate top as its contents gushed over the edges.

Spin~ Spin~

Except now, a snake was crashing against the wooden crate, which would set it and its contents ablaze. Three snakes, meanwhile, would be striking the wheel - setting its surface ablaze as it was, let alone with the hair gel Lazarus so naively coated the exterior with, which would further improve how nicely the wheel caught ablaze.

Omi's left and right eyes both watered - his snakes and he spinning about in the maelstrom, the [artist] gritting his teeth to try and bare the inertia of this wild wheel's rotations. The best part however, was that those flames would spread ridiculously fast thanks to this constant spinning, as sparks and embers would fly all about - setting aflame more of the hair gel and the wonderful center-bound prizes. By the time Lazarus would even realize this.. it'd be much, much too late.

Lazarus would now be dead center amidst a ring of hell, with no simple means of escape!

[IV]

30Unique Bliss

An eyebrow raised as Lazarus spotted a "snake" crawl atop the Wheel, and quite literally attack nothing. "Is it possible for a snake to have down syndrome?" Lazarus questioned himself, and merely chuckled. Shaking his head in disapproval. The Sorcerer had eventually got curious, however, and looked closer. Squinting each eye, and partially 'zooming' in on the creature. It was attacking a glob of some sort of liquid. "My hair gel... What the ******** is this guy trying to accomplish?" Yet another question was asked aloud, and then another snake appeared. However, it didn't launch itself toward anything on the ground, it went directly for the crate behind him. Wood splintering and plastic sword(s) falling out onto the wheel. A blank stare was all this snake received. Obviously, Lazarus wasn't too worried about this one, it was just flat out random. Last but not least; one more snake appeared, and this one literally burrowed into the surface of the wheel. More wood splintering, and causing quite the loud noise. None of these cold-blooded creature(s) were number one on his worry list, no, it wasn't until they somehow ignited with fire that they worried him. Setting the wheel ablaze as well. Not to mention, it was somehow spinning, again! Omi Barsait had a sick sense of humor.

Underneath the snake that attacked the crate, was Lazarus' pride, and joy. The small pool he had started when he had first came atop the wheel. By now, if you looked closely, the sickly green radiation could be seen spread across almost half the arena. Reaching a stunning twelve feet in diameter, and continuing to grow in size. If it continued to spread, it would roughly cover half of the wheel, and Lazarus was waiting for that exact moment. Fire may spread extremely quickly, but his Corruption may spread just a tad bit faster, and that was what Lazarus was hoping. At this point; there was nothing he could do. Omi was out of his line of sight, even with checking over his shoulder every once in awhile, and he was doing a damn good job at avoiding the Sorcerer's gaze. Keeping his Glaive in the grasp of each hand, and being quite prepared for anything that his opponent could throw at him. Whether it be another snake that he needed to get rid of, or not losing his cool as the warmth from the fire grew closer, this was a game of cat and mouse. Or should I say... Snake and mouse?

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

The snake and his prey were in a dangerous game. It consisted of territory control; Lazarus was lord of his small domain, yet Omi ruled the uncertain shadows, and slowly but surely eroded the wheel's wooden landscape with flames that began to dance high. This was, of course, the first time Omi began to see something quite bizarre about the inner area of the wheel via his remote snake vision: an odd distortion of the wood, gradually but notably spreading outward, as though rushing to meet his flames and their rising growth.

"OMI BARSAIT, you have WON Golf Clubs signed by Johnny K. Gambino~!!"

As usual, a bag of golf clubs fell from the ceiling. However, this time when colliding with the wooden crate as the wheel's spin began to decline, though a single club slid from the bag and fell to the floor below - the bag itself suddenly began to burst into flame.

Currently:

[+]Ring Finger & Index Finger Serpents were grinding across the wheel floor, spreading fire as they pleased along the hair gel and haughty surface.

[+]Small Finger Serpent was busy grinding against its nearby SPIN button, ready to press it again at a moment's notice.

[+]Middle Finger Serpent was deep within the wooden crate, bashing around inside and setting the contents ablaze.

..however, Barsait was curious. What was the inside of that box like? Supposedly, it housed ceremonial weaponry or something of that nature, and he could vaguely make out one or two of the weapons in the distance that seemed to have been knocked out of the crate packed full when his snake bashed into it. But.. what did that entail?

Deciding sating his curiosity may be advantageous, Barsait furrowed his brow. A bead of sweat rolled down the man's face, as the eyeball in his thumb serpent faded.. and slowly manifested into the crate bound Middle Finger serpent. Transferring his left eye's remote vision inside the box, illuminated by the spreading flames and the crimson glow of the very snake itself.

What Omi saw made his jaw drop just a hint.

They were plastic. No doubt one of the show's stupid jokes, but they didn't realize what this meant, Omi surmised. Let us say you accidentally drop a plastic fork into a high heat surface and it burned or melted - you would obviously not want to breath in the air just around it. That could cause long-term health complications, and while unlikely to cause harm to you immediately, could if inhaled directly, kill someone.

But what was inside of that crate.. seemed to be a ridiculous amount of plastic, no less covered in flammable fabrics, toxic chemicals for the "sheen" of the "blades" and the paint, and due to the interior of the crate cooking - those plastic blades were beginning to bubble and melt. And though it was hard to tell just what it looked like thanks to the red tint this vision imparted, Omi could vaguely make out a haze that didn't seem like mere smoke in the inner-sanctum of this crate. It would be a true health hazard if that crate was left for a while, although it being relatively closed off, it was unlikely Lazarus would be in danger immediately even as the blades boiled.

Unless of course, Barsait offered a helping hand.

Bashing his pinky finger against the wheel platform material, the Pinky Serpent smashed against one of the [SPIN] buttons again. And thus, Omi began his hellish ride once more, flames now being scattered dangerously as they rained off the crate and the gel's risen flames all over the wheel platform. Like a blender of embers. It was time for a bit of faith. He couldn't put much input into this, for he had no such time. Barsait simply needed to trust.

Not daring to press it in the conventional manner, Omi craned his neck and bashed his chin hard against something on his right forearm. Oh, but what was it?

32Kenji III

He felt his lead slipping out of his grasps like a wet fish. A few seconds ago this jerkwad was eating wheel. There was something odd about the way Kenji felt about Edward. Down the line for a reason unbeknown to him at the moment, he loathed this man. But he couldn’t remember why. He just knew he wanted him deader than a Jew during War World II.

It was strange for him to feel this way. He knew why he hated Josie or Sieg or Ertai. They all had wronged him in more than a few ways than he cared to mention. Everyone hated the black beast Sama, and he tended to follow that trend. However, he couldn’t put a finger on why exactly he wanted hated this guy. The two of them used to be friends. They hung out, drank beers, and fought alongside each other.

Out of the blue, Kenji crawled out of his usual hole and put a bunch of bullet holes into the guy. He then drained the cyborg down a corridor with a flood of sewage water. As epic as that sounded he probably could have gotten what he wanted if he teamed up with his friend instead of going Columbine shooter on his backside.

The cyborg was hot on the heels of a combo. He swiftly dodged Kenji’s sloppy punch like a featherweight boxer ducking and weaving as if he’d always known how to do that. Quickly, the criminal would withdraw his left fist back as Ed got closer and simultaneously would twist his body to the left getting ready got an old trick, but his opponent had a different idea.

WHAM!

The Mr. Gadget arm collided with his face knocking more than a few teeth loose.

A quick flash of a memory popped up.

”Give me a ****** drink, you f***t,” Kenji yelled out to the bartender, point a finger at him as if to threaten him.

“Watch who you’re calling f***t, f***t,” the bartender shot back with a strong sense of hostility.

“Hell man, I’d settle for a goddamn cigarette. Anything to just get rid of this feeling,” Kenji pleaded. He felt powerless, too weak to rob the joint. He was penniless, and the news of Josie shacking up with the Lord of Darkness was still fresh in his mind. He just needed a fix to get him a jumpstart on his new job; a gig in a junkyard with Dzan.

“Don’t talk to me anymore, junkie,” the bartender scolded and laughed, walking away to tend to other customers.

Anger swelled up inside him, but he like a famished child he couldn’t go on any longer. Nearly three weeks had gone by without a single high. Like termites barrowing through the siding of a home, his withdrawal was eating him from the inside out. Not only that everything he had worked for (albeit wrongly and criminally) had been lost along with his longtime girlfriend and his two children. Just when he thought he could be more normal and less sociopathic, his life turned upside-down.

Kenji turned around and sat on a bench at the bar with his back turned as if to hide his shame.

“I’d like to get a shot of Jack,” a voice said, throwing some gold coins on the counter. The bartender complied. “Leave the bottle.”

After a few more seconds of sitting there, he turned back around to see that the shot glass was still full and Edward Queensborough was standing right there.

“You going to drink it or what?” Ed asked, pushing the glass over to

him.

Kenji quickly took the glass and downed it.

”Thanks,” Kenji muttered.

The two went on to discuss what had transpired to lead Kenji to such a low point in his life. Edward was more than kind to the sex crazed drug fiend buying more alcohol and helping his friend forgets the bad times. Over the course of the conversation the two began to discuss fighting styles.

They both agreed that knee strikes were awesome.

Continuing to twist his body to the left while the punch indented his face, Kenji would throw a right knee strike to Ed’s lower ribs.

It was at that moment that Kenji knew that everyone he listed as people who had wronged him and people who he deserved to kill based on his own sick merit had actually been his friends. They all choose at one time or another to befriend the beast only to get hurt one day when he was going nuts. All of them except Ertai, anyways.

6/17

33Just Naota

CRUNCH! Now they were just wailing on one another, which was exactly what Edward had been wanting all these months. The animosity. The impatience. The unadulterated rage. It was all being let it out in this pivotal, albeit very short moment. The cyberpunk and Kenji had awaited this day for too long; and finally, here they were fully intending to tear the other to shreds. And yet, despite how much the punk didn't want to admit, it didn't make him feel much better. Though expecting instant gratification was probably naive, or maybe it would never come even if Edward was pummeling Kenji until he assumed room temperature. Perhaps Wigi had been right all along. These hellbent attempts at vengeance were destructive, pointless, and uncharacteristically stupid of the pragmatic cyborg. In spite of these revelations, Edward wasn't stopping. He had to see it through to the end, if not then the last year (working towards this very moment) would've been pointless. Call it stupid.

A second CRUNCH sound was heard as Kenji's knee connected with the left side of the cyberpunk's ribs. He exhaled in anticipation of Kenji's retaliation, preventing the wind being knocked out of him. However, it still hurt like a b***h. The blow set Edward back on his heels easily, figuring (from the pain) that one of his ribs were either fractured or that hemorrhaging was to begin relatively soon. Most of Ed's ribs had been broken at least once, so their fused/healed together successors were significantly more resilient than the ribs of a person who had never had broken ribs. So chances were that internal bleeding was way more likely, but the punk wouldn't rule the chances of a break out. He'd have to check with his hand whenever the next pause in the fight occurs, as unlikely as that was, or wait until the breathing problems attributed to broken ribs surfaced. Kenji could give one hell of a hit, but that wouldn't discourage him. It only made him more determined to give all back tenfold.

The momentum of Edward's punch combination would not falter, going through the motions of his onslaught whether Kenji liked it or not. A jab (which hit), a quick second one (which also hit), and then followed by a brutal right cross. The cyberpunk twisted his hips from right to left, throwing all of his weight behind his powerful -albeit human- right arm which was now poised to strike Kenji in the bridge of the drug dealer's nose. The drug dealer was just coming off a knee strike or in the midst of bringing that leg back down to the ground, so it would be difficult for him to say the least. Edward placed it all in this punch, or at least what seemed like it all. His anger. The feelings of betrayal. Ed's want to be victorious not only in this round but the entire tournament. And for his need to avenge every single wrong thing Kenji had ever done to people Ed knew. Sieg. Josie. Sokoya. For Wigi who'd been there throughout Ed's hunt for the man. And Kenji's legitimate kids. Edward's godchildren. Their lives had been ******** and Kenji had to pay.

Adrenaline Rush Wrote:

When Ed's nano-machines stimulate the adrenergic receptors throughout his body, a cocktail mix of endorphins and quick-response steroids are released into his body that increases his speed and strength of his organic body by nearly 50% for a few moments (1 post). This helps Edward give a proper boost to particular moves, like single/double-leg takedowns and Lateral Drops. Giving the cyberpunk not only the capability of throwing an enemy harder but also farther. A 300 pound creature or object can be thrown about 10 feet. It can also be used to throw a combination of hits extremely quickly amongst other maneuvers. However, the ability is rather taxing and is only suggested to be used three times during a battle.

"Now that's a bit random..." An eyebrow raised as the Sorcerer spoke, and the point he was intending to make was the snake that was quite literally a foot had been stashed away in one of Omi's numerous prize(s). Tightening the grip he had on his Glaive, Lazarus swiftly turned toward the snake, and raised his weapon up toward his shoulder. A twisted smile spread across his face as he dropped the weapon suddenly, and quickly. Adding in a bit of force as he let the blade carry through toward the snake, and the blade would easily decapitate it. Although, this might raise a bit of suspicion, seeing as Omi had control of each snake spread across the battlefield. Lazarus' posistion on the wheel might be known immediately after he had executed the abomination. But that was a risk he had to take.

"One dow---" Lazarus had begun speaking, and was cut off by another rotation of the wheel. Spinning around near the center of the Arena, the Sorcerer suddenly got one hell of an idea, and he acted upon it. It seemed his Corruption had finally reached the final stage of growth. Reaching a stunning fifteen feet in diameter across the arena, and consuming more than half of it. Dropping his right hand from the safety of his weapon, he motioned it around in the air, and make a quick grabbing motion. Kind of like one of those faggots from Hogworts, except he didn't have a wand, and didn't say a catch-phrase. The only warning Omi would recieve from this spellcasting was the sound of wood splintering, but, for all he knew it could have been one of his many snake(s) doing their job.

Defilement! Four points of Corruption would be used to cast this spell. Two baseball sized makeshift rocks would be formed out of the wood/nails/whatever kept the wheel together. Torn from the surface of the wheel, and forged into two objects. These would be used to attack the two snakes causing him the most trouble. The snake that had pressed the button would soon have one of the said balls tossed at it. Rather quickly. Hopefully smashing into it, and removing it from the playing field. Due to the fact that Lazarus was spinning ONCE MORE, it was quite hard to time it perfectly, however, the Sorcerer flung it right before the wheel passed it. Catching it right out of the corner of his eye, and firing it. Hopefully hitting.

As for the other target Lazarus had in mind, it was the little bugger rolling around in the Sorcerer's hair gel. That too would be targeted, and Lazarus would fire his second rock at it when he had the chance. Also trying to time this attack perfectly, and without missing. But once again, due to the fact that he was spinning, it would be rather hard to hit. This was a game of chance, and it was the only thing Lazarus could do at this point in time.

His meteorite landed on planet ribcage.

They were at make out distance now, and Kenji strangely enjoyed that. It had been a long time since he felt this way. Gaians lived for moments like this, and he was no different. Feeling the flash of cameras, the spotlight heating his skin, the roar of spectators shot up his blood pressure with excitement, but a part of him didn't want to go on.

He was mentally tired and weary all of the sudden. Many people thought he had no conscious. He was a cannibalistic death machine with zero emotions and only got enjoyment from the pain of others. But at times like this he wished he could go back in time to a point in his life before the madness made him a lonely druggie.

The fact that he was the cause of his own misery was exploding throughout him like a Snow Speeder in the battle of Hoth. Why had it took him so long to realize he was just as much a piece of s**t as everyone said he was? Kenji had half the mind to let Edward destroy him right now. Another hit like the last one times a few more would end him surely.

Did he want to go on like this?

If only he could go back in time to change his life.

Would it have been like this?

"When are you going to fix the air conditioner?" Josie yelled, from the kitchen.

"When I fix it," Kenji called back, throwing a shirt on as he crawled out of bed.

The trailer was an oven. His two children were making faces and acting like they were melting to the death. His girlfriend was spreading peanut butter across loathes of bread for everyone's lunch. Kenji noted how unhappy and sweaty she looked. The Yard wasn't known for its high end living. She had become accustomed to living like a princess, but now she was without a shower or AC.

Kenji laughed.

"What's so funny?" she snapped.

"You look lovely," Kenji said sarcastically, going over to her and hugging her from the back. "Uh oh, I got mommy!" He growled. The kids giggled.

"Put me down and fix the air before we all suffocate," Josie demanded, hiding the fact that she was smiling.

"You all can go outside, you know?" Kenji noted, dropping Josie to the ground. That made the kids laugh even harder to see their tiny mother fall. She didn't find it to be too funny. "Ed won't bite. I made him promise."

"Ed's not the only thing out there," she said, making a valid point.

"Well at least let the kids come outside. I'll watch them. Come on, guys," Kenji quickly began ushering them out the door before Josie had time to b***h more.

"You better," she said. "I love you."

"Love you back," Kenji said, shutting the door behind him.

Ed was outside looking at the AC. His robotic whosits and whatsits were at work in his brain probably trying to figure out what was not working on the damn thing, or at the very least he was eavesdropping on them.

Kenji walked over to him and shook his hand.

"You're going to need a new one, but I did bring cold beer," Ed said, thumbing over at a cooler and a pair of chairs.

"Good, then it'll be easy to watch the kids play in the sandbox," Kenji said, plopping his a** down and reaching for a Bud.

"What sandbox?" Ed asked.

"The front yard." They both laughed.

Maybe he could have had a normal life. The life his parents wanted him to have before he raped his adopted sister. The life Josie wanted them to have before he left her and the kids to dry because he was too afraid to see what would come of it all if he did stay. The life Ed wanted him to have if he hadn't shot him in the back with a Mini 14.

He didn't have much time to ponder and scratch his head.

Was he going to throw the match and hope to be cast from his miserable existence?

No. ******** that.

As long as he had air in his lungs he might as well make everyone else miserable too.

Edward was going in for a three hit combo with a right hook. Kenji quickly landed his right foot down and brought up his left forearm and with a

BAM!

let it take the blunt force as such a powerful punch. The robotic fist took the hide off him with a tiny spray of blood coming from his arm, but as much as it hurt he had to take the offensive.

Just when the fist hit, Kenji would use his left arm to push it to his left side (Ed's right) and would simultaneously pivot his body to the right and would throw another solid knee this time with his left at the other side of Ed's ribs.

36The Female of the Species

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

A challenger appears!

Sokoya had been content with watching the fights from the sidelines. It was her own fault, after all, for not getting to fully participate this round. Her tardiness was her own fault, and the girl was willing to pay the price. But that that sort of mindset could only last for so long. Watching her teammate, Omi Barsait, fight caused a stir in her veins. A gradual build up of excitement and anticipation that she couldn't ignore forever.

She had to get herself a piece. The fighter slapped at the device on her wrist, signaling a striker.

It just happened that her boiling point was also a critical moment in the fight. Omi had been doing a good job of peppering that Lazarus from a safe distance. Small, annoying damage with no chance of retaliation. It'd hopefully gotten the sorcerer frustrated. Out of focus. Far too intent on giving some form of retribution to keep up watching his own a** for a sneak attack. And like a dam breaking, she surged at the man on the wheel at a terrifying velocity.

As the wheel began to slow, Sokoya grabbed on to the ring with her right, latching herself to and allowing herself to be dragged in circles along with it. Her placement was key, poising herself such that Lazarus was stuck between her and a rather large flaming box of toy katana's. He had no where to back up to. What's more, the poor man's attention was focused on trying to fruitlessly kill a few of Omi's snakes. One could only assume he was dizzy as well, considering the number of spins he'd taken. It all added up to lend credit to her notion that he wouldn't be ready for the hurt she was going to put him in.

Sokoya hefted herself up onto the platform as it still spun around weakly, and was on her feet in a flash. Her left hand balled into a hard fist and held up at the ready as she pushed off into a mad dash for the Sorcerer. But as she moved, a strange transformation took place. Her left arm spasmed, the flesh looking as if there were hundreds of little bugs crawling beneath it. And with a sickening splurch, starch white bone would erupt from up the length of it. Grotesque and visceral, the material seemed to be alive. Wrapping itself around the poor girl's arm and up to her shoulder. Forming itself into plate like armor like something you'd see for a bug's limb. All topped off with a spike jutting up from the shoulder.

The pain that it brought was almost euphoric. The sensation of your flesh being ripped asunder from so many spots at once cause the girl's otherwise calm demeanor to shatter. Her mouth splitting into a grin that nearly touched each ear. Viscous rows of shark like teeth left gleaming in the bright studio light. This was the girl's true appearance. A monster.

A monster with one hell of a left haymaker.

Nevermind the pool of whatever on the ground. Sokoya would likely be over that, hitting him, and off again before it'd have a chance to do anything at all. It was a mere 15 feet or so she had to dash before bringing her wicked fist to the man's lower region. Whether that was his spine or his gut, it was of little concern. She just knew that she was poised to give him a FALCON PUNCH. And while Soak wasn't a power house, she was plenty stronger than she looked. The added weight that she could toss into it from her mutated arm only helping that matter.

The cyborg's fist connected solidly, however not in a spot where he would've liked. A hit was a hit though because at the very least he wasn't fighting some squirrely ********. Without wasting any time after getting his arm deflected to the right, Edward burst explosively towards Kenji, attempting to clinch with the drug dealer via two underhooks. Both arms trying to move underneath the opponent's armpits and gripping either side of his upper back. It placed Kenji in a rather disadvantageous position if successful, but wouldn't save Edward from the knee. One could say it made it worse.

Moving headlong into a knee strike wasn't the smartest idea, though that was exactly what would happen. Another CRACK sound filled Ed's ears, louder and more violent than any previous hits. The punk couldn't call himself an expert but he had felt this before. That sharp pain in his ribs. Without a shadow of a doubt, one of Edward's ribs was broken. There were various factors involved in why two attacks with virtually the same effort would yeild two different results, but the cyborg didn't have time to ponder them right now. He gritted his teeth hard and tried to push the pain by the wayside.

Simultaneously, using the tungsten-steel alloy that comprised his forehead and other bones of the top of Ed's skull. The punk aimed a powerful headbutt in conjunction with the clinch, which happened around the same time as the knee, at Kenji's lower eye socket. The dense forehead "bones" were liable to cause some nasty damage if they hit, and an orbital fracture of both the upper Maxillary and Zygomatic bones would just suck for the drug dealer.

Metal Skullcap Wrote:

Edward’s entire Calvaria has been replaced by a dome-shaped plate made out of a Tungsten-Steel alloy. It protects the cranial cavity and the brain that resides within better than bone could ever hope. Theoretically, it could take a blade but whether the cyberpunk would be knocked out cold from the blow as opposed to being killed is a completely different story. This Skullcap isn’t something you want to punch head-on or take a headbutt from.

"A hug? All you had to do was ask," Kenji thought in his head.

The fight was heating up, but how hot would it get? They were now at practically-having-sex distance. The robot had reached around and got a hold of his back with both of his arms meaning only a few things could happen from here. Either the life of Kenji was going to be squeezed out like a lemon or the cyborg was going to obliterate his face with his forehead.

In those trying small moments as he put his leg down, Kenji decided on what to do.

He recasted the magic move that made his fist rock hard.

The head butt came in strong. Stronger than Kenji would have ever expected.

His fists, for the majority of the fight, had been up to his face like a boxer. That was the only fighting stance he cared to learn, and throughout many of his years fighting he was able to use it to adapt to all kinds of combat styles. Today, would show why he loved this fighting style so much. Kenji's hands were the only thing in between a thundering skull and a KO.

As the head butt came in, Kenji's left hand would take the blunt force of it. The pain was unreal but more manageable since of his last geomancy skill. Kenji's hand would grab the right side of Edward's forehead, his fingers digging into his scalp holding the head in place. He put his thumb strategically on the robot's right eye and pressed hard. It wasn't hard enough to gauge the man's eye out, but it was more of a friendly sign of things to come. But that didn't stop the force of the head butt from knocking his hand back. Kenji tilted his head to the right. His stone hand scrapped the side of his cheek taking the skin right off like a sticker.

Simultaneously to that, he would send a volley of powerful hooks with his right fist hammering away at Ed's jaw and cheek bone.

8/17

39Just Naota

Edward saw stars as his head and Kenji's stone fist collided, causing no damage to the artificial bone but splitting open the flesh of Edward's forehead. Blood dripped in droves from the gross-looking laceration, cascading down his face slowly. It hurt like a b***h and made him feel dizzy, but the lack of damage to his Calvaria kept the punk in the fight. He clung even more to the drug dealer, finalizing the clinch and giving Kenji little room to maneuver his upper body. However, it didn't stop Ed's opponent from trying.

Kenji's left hand would grip the punk's head, pushing his thumb into the lens of Ed's blast goggles. While the other did a slightly more practical thing, and began to throw a short right hook. Obviously, the cyborg wasn't going to sit there and take it. Virtually at the same time, Ed used his lower body (which in both their cases were rather mobile) and lifted his right knee into Kenji's groin. Both attacks were traded virtually in the same time frame, but the cyborg's attack would likely be significantly more effective than Kenji due to room. Though Kenji's hands were as hard as rocks, the clinch placed both combatants chest-to-chest and with Ed's arms under and over the drug dealers. It gave Kenji almost no room to c**k back and his hips weren't in much of a position to help out. The punch would hurt him no doubt, but with a metallic knee in his scrotum. Ed figured Kenji won't be throwing his second punch for a bit.

Whether successful or not, the cyborg's foot would return to ground and his hands would lock tightly at Kenji's lower back.

It didn't take much to note what was coming. Logic would dictate that since the cyborg's arms and head were busy that meant his legs were all he had left in his arsenal. Kenji had already gotten two knee strikes in back to back. Edward was upset he was down two, especially when he fancied him being the better knee striker between them both.

Just as his fist hit Ed's face Kenji's nuts went

CRUNCH!!!

His eyes instantly watered up. The ******** hit him with a metal kneecap in the jewels. His sides and back ached from the unimaginable amount of pain. He bared his teeth, wincing hard from the pain. He dug his fingers deeper into the robot's head to bare more of the hurting he was being put through.

Kenji only had one more trick up his sleeve. He had enough magic left to seriously ******** up his frienemy, and with both of his hands free he was going to have to do it or risk having his balls caved in like a hollow, chocolate Easter bunny.

Suddenly, his left hand (right as the knee finished destroying any chance he could ever bare more children again) burst with fire. Yes, the hand on top of Edward's head began emitting flames. The fire would burn through his skin and hair and most likely the goggles. The fireball encompassed his entire hand

Right after that, Kenji swiftly brought his right hand down to Edward's d**k, cuffed it with his palm, and would hold a fireball up to his genitals burning through his pants and underwear in the process.

"Cry uncle," Kenji said, his voice raspy and hoarse from the pain, "Or be a dickless Harvey Dent."

41The Haelstrom Fist

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

Vision within the wooden crate was intriguing indeed. The blades seemed to be practically boiling, they were reaching temperatures so high - and the crate itself, damaged already by its fall and subsequent snake jabbing, was beginning to give way to the mighty flames. However, all vision to this spectacle was rather abruptly cut off. A sign that Omi's middle finger serpent had likely been "cut off" if not destroyed, ergo the snake path to said finger flickering into non-existence. However, his left eye snapping shut as the artist winced in frustrated pain told the message better. His [Knavish Eye] had just been disconnected, causing his left eye no small amount of pain. Tear water would flood it.

"b*****d.." Sure, it was logical if able to destroy his serpents. That didn't mean he had to like it.

With only four serpents left at his disposal, Barsait felt the wheel coming to a halt - even without sight, the obvious decision here was to keep the momentum going. Barsait jabbed his pinky against the platform, bashing that snake against the spin button it was hounding - and sure enough, the wheel began its psychotic spin ride once more.. before, unusually, his tiny finger spasmed. Sure enough, the snake stemming to it disappeared. Deciding that lacking sight was too useless, the thumb serpent needed its eye again.

Furrowing his brow, Omi transferred his [Knavish Eye] mechanic to said serpent, now his right eye undergoing the fun little mutation - his left still shut tight with pain. The thumb serpent, hugging the wheel, slowly gained vision whilst the wheel began its newest spin strong.

"OMI BARSAIT~! You have won YET AGAIN, BLUE-"

The strategist's jaw dropped. Was this.. real?

His team comrade, Sokoya, had joined the ring. It seemed his Striker signal wasn't for naught, yet this was not what surprised the artist. Instead, what surprised him was the rate at which that wooden crate was catching ablaze, even as Lazarus wasted time hurling a mass of the wheel in the shape of a rock at his hair gel swimming snake. Too fast. This confirmed Lazarus had not destroyed his middle finger serpent, but merely cut it off as one not learned of the art would tend to.

This meant inside of the crate, his serpent, "lifeless," burned away. Each interval of the wheel's chaotic ride made the sight Omi was witnessing that his opponent, his comrades, and the crowd were likely oblivious to, all the more ominous. The crate was finally coming apart at the seams, losing its structural integrity as the wood around the nails lost strength and existence. On multiple sides no less, from what Omi could see. Grimacing as he held on for dear life, this meant one thing.

His opponent was in trouble.

[CRASH!!]

The crate burst open, two panes smashing down - one of which facing Lazarus. And due to the wheel's picked up speed mid-spin, those odd sword replicas would whip out from the crate in a counterclockwise motion. At a rate of five~seven swords a second out of a ridiculous amount, these flaming toxic masses were shooting out at various heights. It was like a machine, launching arsenal at a rate no human arm could ever hope to match in either velocity or speed.

Hell, even Omi himself was mildly paranoid one of those crazed masses would fire at him, which is why he hugged the wheel edge all the more. Little probability of one hitting him, less they descended at just the right angle. For poor Lazarus however..

Highly, highly unlikely with his insistence on staying dead center in the wheel of inferno, being pushed in by Sokoya's berserk charge no less, he'd find any type of escape.

Serpentine Condition Wrote:

[Left Hand] - each serpent is being controlled by its individual finger, in very gradual motions so Omi may retain his grip on the side of the wheel and not be flung into the crowd.

[+]Little Finger Serpent struck one of the [SPIN] buttons, before being destroyed by Lazarus' Corruption bound arsenal. (TERMINATED)

[+]Ring Finger Serpent has found its favored hair gel, has set it ablaze, and is grinding across the floor. Was missed by Lazarus' last rock toss, due to the wheel's spinning throwing his aim off. However, seems quite content staying as is. (STRIKING/ABLAZE)

[+]Middle Finger Serpent is within the wooden crate, setting its contents ablaze. However, it is separated from Omi's grasp, and so is completely lifeless. (Brain-Dead)

[+]Index Finger Serpent This snake is simply wheel flame-spreading fodder at this point, laying on the floor. (STRIKING/ABLAZE)

[Tongue] - Controlled by Omi's tongue, this serpent is remaining passive at the moment.

[+]Thumb Serpent is still at the Wheel Edge, except now aflame and helping spread fire. Holds Omi's right eye vision now. (KNAVISH EYE/Active/ABLAZE)

[Emphasis]: Omi's flames have made the Wheel nothing pleasant to remain on for long. However, now Lazarus has a new double-threat: flaming blades from his rear, and a raging woman from the front.

The punk couldn't say he was expecting that, but he really, really should have. Normally, he had no problem with dirty fight. Well, he had no problems when he fought dirty. But this could hardly be considered that, not by Edward's standards at least. His kind of dirty tricks were quick-witted and usually required some sort of skill. Lighting your hands on fire was neither of those things since it was practically second nature to the drug dealer..

"********!" Ed yelled at the top of his lungs as he felt something extremely hot at the top of his head. In an instant, the hair on his head would quickly begin to burn up, becoming nothing in a manner of moments and burning his scalp. However, the cyberpunk wasn't going to sit around until he had no hair and no head to speak of. Upon feeling the burning sensation on his head, Ed's hands unlocked and returned to their normal underhook positions. He lifted with all his might (stepping in closer and using his hips), simultaneously arching his torso backwards and literally falling to the ground. And Kenji would be taken for a ride in what one could only call a lateral drop.

Except farther.

Ed was able in a short feat of strength, literally throw a 300 pound individual or object about 10 feet. His opponent wanted Edward to get off of him, and so his request was granted. In a way that he probably hadn't expected in a million years, but at least he got what he wanted and perhaps a broken bone when he landed or something. Considering their position on the wheel, such a throw might send Kenji off the Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods altogether. But that hardly mattered. What mattered was that if Ed was successful then Kenji would be front flipped through the air and towards the ground violently.

He couldn't get his hand down his friend's pants fast enough.

Edward's position dropped. Now Kenji felt like he was on a theme park ride being taken up and over like a rag doll. Whatever was fueling Ed's strength was working. He was like the Hulk as he literally ******** flung him across the wheel.

"BLASTING OFF AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!!!!!!" Kenji screamed, soaring through the air.

PLOP!!!

He landed hard on stomach on the floor next to the wheel. His balls throbbed from the knee strike, but apart from some scraps and bruises from being thrown, he was in decent enough shape. The fight still had quite a bit of time to get things straight on his side of things.

Kenji caught something in the corner of his eye. It was the baseball bat prize right next to a big, red button labeled "spin". Without a thought more on the subject he smacked the button, took the bat, and stood up heading for the wheel.

"You reject my hand job. We are no longer friends." he said, tossing the fireball that had charged up in his right hand at the area in front of where Ed was, so that the wheel's spin would lead him right into it.

44Unique Bliss

...Was this woman retarded, and or insane? Charging someone when they had a weapon in their grasp. Where as her entrance might of been flashy, and full of bone manipulation... Sokoya probably wouldn't like the outcome of her attack. Lazarus wasn't dumb, and he currently wielded his Glaive in his left hand. "b***h, are you retarded? Rhetorical question!" Slipped out of the Sorcerer's mouth right before he pushed the weapon forward, right as she approached, and it was aimed for her non-mutated shoulder. However, Lazarus had tried timing this attack perfectly, yanking the weapon back when Sokoya had taken her swing. Crouching slightly, Lazarus propelled his arm forward, and underneath of her attacking arm. Aiming to gouge the blade of the weapon into her shoulder, and hopefully avoid her attack completely.

Right when Lazarus had thought about backing up from the woman, the wheel had begun to spin again, swearing under his breath, Lazarus decided that he needed to get away from this psychotic b***h standing in front of him. That was easier said than done, however. Yanking back his weapon, Lazarus would preform another dodge roll like he did earlier in the match. Gripping the handle of his Glaive with each hand, and diving. Rolling away from Sokoya.

CRASH!

Lazarus cautiously peeked over his shoulder, and noticed something out of ordinary. That crate Omi had won suddenly exploded, and sent burning plastic everywhere. In each direction, and each flew out at various heights. Turning his head back suddenly just in case one decided to shoot at him, he simply waited for his fate, there was so avoiding an explosive crate of plastic replica swords. One smashing into his back, and immediately singing his cloak. Leaving a blackened burn mark in the midst of his clothing.

Not only did Sokoya get stabbed, she also probably just got bombarded with burning plastic, and not just in one area like Lazarus did. Probably all over that pretty face.

Status.: Pool is charging once more.

45The Female of the Species

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

Outro

It was a simple question; Was Sokoya stupid of crazy. The answer should have been obvious. A love of pain, a pet metal slime named Mormon Jesus, the fact that she actually decided to date Edward. This b***h was loony. However, it would appear that Lazerious might have a bit of the former answer. There was no other explanation for his panicked response. As Sokoya rushed along the short distance of the wheel, she made note of his reaction. And she had to admit, it was clumsy.

The polearm Lazarus wielded might have given a normal fighter perhaps a moment of hesitance, as it rather foolish to charge something so obviously designed for defense. Sokoya, on the other hand, didn't really give a s**t. As long as she wasn't left bleeding out on the wheel in the next few seconds, then she was fine and dandy. What's more, the sorcerer decided to wield the weapon with one hand, severely hampering what strength he could put behind it. So as she bull rushed into his thrust, it wasn't hard to imagine that a quick backhand with her left was enough to knock the extended weapon at least partially out of her way.

Sure, the blade would glide effortlessly along the outter flesh of her way upper arm. Biting slightly into the muscle and fatty tissue there. But it did nothing to impede her approach. And for her best efforts, Sokoya had tried to land a blow that wasn't fight finishing. However, it seemed that Lazarus had other intentions in mind. The mother ******** ducked into a low haymaker. She couldn't say how low he dropped himself, but all that meant that what went from a punch at his stomach, became a punch at his throat or face.

Ouch.

And assuming that the guy still had the sense of mind after a hit like that and the long series of spins, he could certainly still roll away. Sokoya had to split too, but not after turning towards the cameras and giving a thumbs up pose. A small glint coming off of her sharp and jagged teeth. And then she was off the platform., using her now clawed right arm to make sure she was stable while it spun out of control. And sure, she got hit in the back a few times by melting plastic, but it certainly wasn't life threatening. It just spiced life up a little.

46The Haelstrom Fist

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

The artist could barely hold back a sadistic laughter threatening to emit from his lips. What he witnessed through his Thumb Serpent was wonderful, three-fold.

I. Sokoya had with valor, struck Lazarus harshly in a wanton and wild uppercut of sorts, hitting the sorcerer plush in his right cheek. This sent the [Mutiny] fighter reeling towards the ground, allowing:

II. Three blades to emit at Lazarus' backside before his prone position would take place. Upper, mid, lower back respectively; not only would getting slapped by the toxic masses sting, not only would the flames and the super-heated plastic burn and scold - but of course, the flames would gladly dance across Lazarus and his clothing. It didn't help matters any that Lazarus was surrounded by a ring of fire, laying by a crate in flames, and would be on his back.. on a wooden wheel.

III. The most interesting and relevant to Omi's interests: chunks of the wheel were missing. Combined with the odd object he narrowly caught sight of trying to smash his Ring Finger Serpent, the bizarre state of the floor surrounding Lazarus, and of course - Lazarus' bizarre fixation on staying upon the wheel when his opponent was elsewhere, the answer finally made itself clear. Somehow, Omi realized, his opponent had an unnatural influence over what that spreading circle held, and was using this bizarre force to hurl chunks of the platform like strong projectiles. Ergo his destroyed middle & pinky finger snakes.

This cemented it. Barsait's theory his opponent was hugging long-range warfare tight was proven. The fact Lazarus foolishly attacked whatever snakes he saw on the wheel and yet, neither Omi nor his thumb serpent, also proved this man had no idea where Omi was, and furthermore had no means of attack if the target wasn't in a linear direction from he.

As the wheel's spin died down, Barsait could only grin wide. It wasn't his favored method of combat. No trading blows, none of that fresh sting of blood and crushed bone, no breath management and light footsteps before sundered limbs. But Lazarus had chosen a game Omi, try as he might to not like it, was unrivaled in.

Long range combat outside of standard ring atmosphere, this was his specialty.

Oh sure, if on an open field, his opponent had a sniper rifle - they could simply pick Omi apart with ease, and this was the standard problem he would face in tournaments and ranged combat. His range, though vast, was too simply too slow to win a race. In linear combat, it did not excel at such a role. However, give him terrain, cover, flammable material..

Then things took quite a dire turn for his favor. Neither the most accurate of bowmen nor the sharpest of gunmen could in a thousand tries best him. Slow and steady, no matter how unerring their aim, no matter how steady their resolve, no matter how persistent their gaze - they would lose, they would burn. No coincidence much of Barsait's mercenary work tied into such behavior, and the ominous nature of his art became manifest.

Lazarus was aflame. His surroundings, especially thanks to the abundant flammable material and the many spins taken, were rapidly burning up all around him - flames beginning to rise high. And even if Lazarus managed to find a way out of this predicament and off the wheel, though Omi would be unlikely to let that happen easy - not only would the mohawk lover be cut off from the very weaponry he had seemingly forged by his unnatural art, a completely unharmed and ever willing snake in human form crawled around the ring's edge beyond the knowledge of Lazarus - ready to strike him down with a crimson blade.

Of course, Omi's left ring finger was relatively close to where the pinky finger snake had been, and so a simple shift to the right had the Ring Snake make a beeline dart towards the spin buttons. After all, Lazarus seemed to have it out for the thing, it may as well serve its purpose as it triumphantly pressed down against said spin buttons - Barsait's ring finger pressing against the wheel to signal this action.

As the wheel began its spinning, of course, the prior spin's prize revealed itself. Likely a useless prop, but how could Omi let that ruin his good mood?!

"OMI BARSAIT~! You have won AaaaaaaAAA~ REFRIGERATOOOOOOOORRRRRrrr~!"

Barsait's jaw dropped slightly. Just when he thought fortune favored him, Lazarus had a new threat to contend with - as an object began to fall from the ceiling as customary, rotating a single time mid-air. The crate was too structurally weak to possibly stop it either.. if Lazarus didn't move now, the fridge would crash on top of him as it smashed past the crate on its initial bounce, horizontally laid out for the sorcerer to deal with. The sad part was, the sorcerer was getting less and less room to move around, both around himself and in the center of the "ring," where more clutter was being stacked.

Omi changed his mind about this silly game show. It was the best.

How's this for a repost?

Lazarus got punched by Sokoya. Yatta yatta yatta. The Sorcerer fell on his back, yatta yatta yatta, and just before he did the box behind him exploded. Scorching his back with whatever was inside the damned thing. Yatta yatta yatta. It hurt quite a bit, and all that jazz. Lazarus was in a great deal of pain right about now.

Yatta yatta yatta.

What Omi didn't realize was a such a large fire caused smoke, and with smoke came a little something called "carbon monoxide". Lazarus' breathing pattern was slowing down, and it was getting harder to breathe each passing second.

With one final phrase and action; the Sorcerer muttered. "Killing me with carbon monoxide, what a dastardly plot, while he remained on the side of the Wheel completely unaffected by such a thing. True genius. My only regret, was, that I had these holding me back..."

The last syllable slipped from his tongue, and he reached into his cloak. Withdrawing three object(s). Two of which were the color of yellow, and the other was red. Rectangle in shape. Obviously a card. Tossing them into the wind, the Sorcerer then died.

Oh, and Carbon Monoxide. Just in case Haelstrom is as retarded as he acts.

Or is this against my profile as well? -Shrug.-

((Okay, there seems to have been some confusion over Lazarus' corruption skill and the yellow card that was handed out because of it. Regardless of what may have been edited and / or deleted, the Yellow Card still stands for using an unapproved ability. The problem stems from Lazarus using his Corruption skill to corrupt the entire wheel - which has since been edited - when during the clarification process he stated that only small to medium-sized objects could be affected.

The yellow card penalty stands and will be factored into grading.))

Bob Barker stared with a dumbstruck look upon his face from the audience as one of the contestants vying to win BIGMONEYBIGPRIZES choked to death.

"..." Slowly he stood up from his seat, straightened his shirt, and gestured to Omi. The cameras panned towards Mr. Barker as he took a deep breath, smiled for the televised audience, and said:

"Tell him what he's won!"

The voiced-over list of prizes began rolling, up to and including that ANEWCAR Omi had been wishing for this whole time.

Striker!

Sokoya'd been watching the fight up until this point with a grim look on her face. Whereas Omi had managed to end his fight, with her assistance, without a scratch on himself. Her boyfriend was having a much tougher time. While this didn't say anything about her teammates, it did say something about this Kenji Hood. He was one very hard wohkuh. Perhaps her boy toy would need some help. And on a stroke of luck, she saw a perfect moment to give a little of aid. Sokoya style.

Eddy's movements were telegraphed enough to anyone watching on the sidelines. Soak merely had the added benefit of know just exactly what the man was capable of. So when he arched back for the toss, she was already in motion, hurrying to try and intercept at a critical moment. That critical moment being, of course, while he was in mid air. Helpless to any outside forces, the asian wouldn't be able to adjust his trajectory to avoid her surprise assault. Hell, he might even be able to notice in time to defend.

It would be perfect.

Surging forward, the platinum haired fighter would rush in a direction that put her perpendicular to how she assumed Kenji would be flung. In that way, she could hopefully just tackle him mid air, land some blows, and take off before the ten second rule came into effect. As she sprinted across the studio floor, the girl did three things. The first being to slap her FIGHTER, indicating that she was about to preform a striker. The second and third both then happened simultaneously. Left being used to draw her Kukri from her belt, while she activated up her dormant 'ability' in her right.

Profile stuff Wrote:

Osteomancy- The ability to manipulate one's bones. Sokoya is able to adjust the density and hardness of her bone structure, as well as rapidly grow forms out of it. She is limited to using only one of these sub abilities in a post. This ability causes physical fatigue, along with the MP use associated with each technique.

Bloody knuckles- Going for a more subtle attack, or perhaps not wanting a bulky blade to mess up her finesse, Sokoya can also opt to create smaller spikes from her body. Inch long claws protruding from her knuckles or finger tips, for example. Her toes and jaw line are two other valid locations. Grown in bunches, such as 5 finger tip claws on one hand, at a time. Producing these costs 1 MP, and they cannot be fired off.

Fingers spasmed and clenched uncontrollably as her body slowly formed the spikes and literally pushed them out. Ripping openings in her skin, the small spikes grew out to their completed length on her knuckles before she was poised to jump. Staunch white, the only marring features on the spikes being the faint amounts of blood that'd clung to it. Certainly a gruesome enough weapon for the task she had planned.

Sokoya lept for Kenji as he flew through the air, aiming to catch him before the man landed. Kukri was pointed forward even as she tackled him, so that even if she were unable to recover on the ground in time to land some blows that at the very least, she could graze him with something. And then the two would crash to the ground, perhaps tumbling a bit in the process. But the girl was zoned in on her goal of dealing damage. Recovering quick, she would attempt to tear into him.

Seconds. That was all she had to inflict as much damage as possible. And so she rained down the blows on whatever she could. Spiked right fist being tossed around in a flurry of jabs and hooks, aiming to land anywhere on his chest and face that she could manage. The kukri was being used with the same feverish zeal, slashing and hacking at the man's torso and arms, assuming he tried to block or defend. She knew she couldn't kill...but she could certainly maim.

And then her time was up. The girl begrudgingly let the man lie there, in whatever shape he was after her vicious assault. Seconds were left on her mental clock, and she had one last idea to implement. Darting away from Kenji, Sokoya would head to the edge of the Wheel of Moderately Priced Goods and slam her fist down on the button. A devilish grin spreading on her face as she got the ******** out.

((I'll roll the dice for her.))

Ed landed on his chest as he turned on his hips at the last moments of his lateral drop. He patted out the fire on the top of his head, which had easily left disgusting bald spots and equally gross burns. He grimaced every time he patted the injured skin of his scalp; getting angrier every time at the man who had done this. Kenji would pay, the cyborg snarled in his head, standing back up quickly and taking note of Sokoya's striker and the ruthless efficiency of the spectacle. He'd have to thank her later.

Regardless of the measure of her success, the girl would depart and press the spin button which sent the cyberpunk on another ride. Edward kept his balance, moving towards the edge of the wheel and preparing himself to pounce on Kenji. He flipped his hood on and jumped off the wheel when it passed by the drug dealer. The attack was a bit dumb, but Sokoya's act of random brutality had excited him some. Ed felt confident and it showed with the risk he was perfectly willing to make. It wasn't entirely uncharacteristic, however, the punk did take a few precautions. Placing his left arm up sideways, the cyberpunk was prepared to block Kenji if necessary. Particularly fireballs. They hadn't been explosive thus far so his cybernetic arm seemed a good candidate to block them.

Though, blocking an attack necessitated an attack being thrown, and Kenji's position after being tackled was a mystery to Ed until the split moment that he jumped. Without Sokoya's intervention, Kenji would have landed on his stomach, but the tackle could have changed that.

Either way, Edward was prepared and ready.

If the punk was met with no resistance at all, his sideways held arm would turn a bit. Leveling his cybernetic elbow with Kenji's head. A pretty good end to a great combo.

"BLASTING OFF AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!!!! he yelled. Right as he was about to spit out another joke, he saw that a STRIKER had been initiated.

It was her. The girl with the bones like from X-Men. That was the last thing he wanted to be thrown against; a wall of spikes. He was about to get boned with every pun imaginable intended.

Kenji could do very little to protect himself from the incoming attack, so he brought his knees to his chest as if he was about to do a cannonball in a pool. He ran a mental checklist of everything he could do to defend or retaliate. Before he was tossed he was about to give Ed a jerk with a hand lubed with fire. That fireball was still charging in his hand. Also his hands were still rock solid, but fumbling around in midair trying to block her would laughably be impossible.

The only good things about this was that he wasn't wearing a Power Rangers costume, no one was shooting soda pop lasers at Chandler from Friends, and Bone Girl wasn't made out of exploding blood. In all that meant he wouldn't be humiliated as much as he had been last year. Kenji: always thinking about the positives.

Sleeping with a Wookie with lice was more pleasant than this.

He wanted to revoke his future friend request to Ed for this.

Boner c**t rained in on him hard. Harder than Veteran difficulty hard, but not as hard as Ninja Gaiden. She pounded the flesh off his thick shins with her jagged knuckles, each strike hurting worse than the last. It was like getting stung by a bunch of bees with one inch stringers. Something to blog about in the morning for sure. Then her knife left scratches and cuts all down his thighs and biceps.

As they reached the ground one punch smacked a chunk out of his cheek. He was going to look great after this. He knew that so well that he wanted to thank her. Just as the two of them were about to hit ground he would toss the fireball at her tits, point blank, at sixty miles per hour. ******** not going all out. She didn't.

The air combo left him strange situation. He was positive he could still walk, run if he had to, but his shins were bloodier than shower time Carrie White, but his jeans had kept the knuckles from going in fully They stung and needed stitches badly. For the remainder of the time left in the fight he could hang in there. BUT the good news was that the throw had put him near his trusty prize; the baseball bat with a single nail in it.

Sokoya had hit the "spin" button that he landed near, and then out of nowhere dressed like a Hunter from Left 4 Dead, Ed jumped off the wheel in a daringly display of his loss of brain function. Maybe the fire to the hairdo got to his noggin as well.

When he had landed he had rolled on to his back (during the time Bone Girl hit the button). As Double D came in, Kenji would rock his body forward in a roll to get out of the target zone in which his adversary wanted to land on to bring himself closer to the wheel and under the soaring Edward.

Quickly, Kenji would pick up the bat with his right hand and would get on his feet, wincing through the pain. When Ed would land he would be behind him.

As soon as Ed would land, Kenji would swing the bat like a major league home runner pumped on all kinds of steroids at Ed's right set of ribs... the ones that were broken.

The punk landed but not in manner he had expected. Even now, Kenji was still at the top of his game which was expected considering his status as a meta. The drug dealer was directly behind the cyborg, poised to hit him with a new found weapon. However, none of this changed the nature of Ed's jump, which was meant to have him land on top of Kenji. Not on his feet. He rolled forward to absorb his fall, simultaneously dodging Kenji's powerful base ball bat swing.

Edward swiftly came to his feet and turned, not really knowing of Kenji's attack since his opponent was behind him, but if he did he'd know that it would take the man a bit to start up another swing. Aching all over the place, the cyberpunk knew he had to end it and soon. His breathing was labored and his movements were slowing gradually. The punk drew both of his hatchets from his hips as he came around to face Kenji, spinning both weapons skillfully while doing so.

He swung.... and missed.

There they stood. Facing each other again as if this was the start of their fight after they had been drug through a pile of blood and s**t.

During the pause, the hard workuh's theme played to create more dramatic tension as they readied for another bout. Both of them were now twirling their weapons, looking as menacing as a bunch of hobos fighting over the last newspaper.

Aiming low, Kenji would swing the bat from right to left to the side of Ed's left knee. Only the very top of the bat would hit its mark. The drug dealer wanted to keep some distance at the moment.

[WoMPG: Round I - Omi Barsait versus Lazarus]

Watching through his remote gaze, Barsait saw his opponent fall once again.. yet, this time, the sorcerer did not rise. The artist wasn't sure what to make of it. A trick..? Some ruse to bring Omi out of hiding, then smash him with one of those wheel-forged masses of wood and nail? Quickly however, the announcer's voice soothingly reassured this was not the case. Somehow, they had ascertained the opponent's defeat..

Losing consciousness, perhaps though unlikely due to the intensity of the flames and the smoke generated, or even simpler due to the strain of maintaining whatever that bizarre blight upon the wheel's exterior was, saw Lazarus bested. Omi knew [Heaven or Hell] staff, or perhaps the game show's own, would move in to quickly douse the flames and therefore prevent the untimely death of Lazarus - as well as of their stage. To top it, though some of the rewards would need repair work done, it seemed the artist was being given a number of nice novelties.

Still, no grin covered his face. No, there was no smugness in his victory, even as the flames danced higher and the heat bathed his face. His lack of sleep the night prior combined with the constant spinning on this contraption had the fighter weary, dizzy, and quite simply tired. To top it, his lack of damage was a double-edged sword; it didn't wake him up from the daze he had been in for over a day at all. Troublesome..

"Mm.. good fight, Lazarus." The lengthy haired man commented towards the sorcerer even if his words wouldn't carry, before casually releasing his grip from the wheel exterior. He fell like a rock, hitting the ground some three feet below him with a loud 'THUD'. His eyes jarred open wide, some pain though minor flooding those bones and such.. but it was indeed minor, quickly fading. Then, Barsait sprawled out, lazily crossing his arms behind his head to take a nap.

Left hand twitching slightly, all of the snakes were to fade with this simple notion - at least, the ones had had access to, no doubt the staff would handle his severed Middle Finger Serpent. Still, his ability to lounge with his unconscious opponent surrounded by an inferno so very nearby was unnerving. Most would be slightly stunned by such behavior in a "professional" such as Barsait, happily welcoming his body regaining its balance from all that infernal spinning even while his eyes slowly turned into their normal colors and form.

Not that he cared. He had a car now.

He stared his opponent down and watched as Kenji made his next attack. The swing went low which meant quite a few targets were in danger of being hit, but the cyberpunk decided to take a pretty big chance considering half of said leg was fake anyhow. Edward took a long stride forward with his left leg, taking the hit on the knee without flinching. A loud PING sound would assault their ears, notifying Kenji that he had just ******** up royally. With the bat ricocheting off the metallic surface, Ed attacked swiftly. He held both hatchets directly underneath their axe heads and jabbed out with both. He aimed to hit Kenji in the face with the hammer sides of the hatchets twice. It wouldn't be like taking a sledge to the face, but it wouldn't be pretty either. Particularly with his left hand attack which would be the first of the two.

Two things were for sure. Kenji's face would never be the same and he was going to see stars.

Ouch.

When Sokoya returned to the sidelines she would find an envelope with her name written on it sitting on a small table that hadn't been there before. The table was decorated with a rather gaudy-looking lamp that stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the cameras and studio audiences.

Inside of the envelope she would find... Lakers tickets. Row 3, mid-court. Sweet deal.

Now, look at the fight.

The tickets are now a Yellow Card. It seemed that the Judges were also capable of making something happen in one post and then altering it slightly to a more unfavorable outcome in the next.

Unfortunately, there was currently a rule in place that prohibited such a thing from happening.
