Latent Shopping Mall

A lavish shopping outlet where one can get all over their overpriced needs. An elaborate fountain decorates the center and sitting area of the plaza, offering a calming and urine inducing stop for those who need to rest their tired rich feet.

The mall offers goods from lingerie for the Misses and Mistresses to rugged man gear for the dashing Misters. As well as shoes, all you can eat dragon jerky, khaki outfits and tiny porcelain figurines.

We wish to dazzle you into giving us your inherited cash!

General- Marble floors and window shopping welcome the fighters to this spectacular waste of tax money!

Weapons- Items from displays, fountain bits, over priced shoes, and whatever else one could get their grubby hands on.

Natural Element Resource- Water and credit card plastic.

Bonus Effects- The mall somehow seems a little less sturdy that it appears... The more expensive the item taken from the environment, the easier it seems to break! -HINT- It's all pretty ******** pricey.

Paylor Sakaki

Pushing past the crowd of rich people Sakaki began to wonder how he found himself in the mall. It was far too expensive for his tastes and the people around him seemed to only look down on his strange attire. After walking for what seemed like a life time Sakaki found himself in the back of the mall in the middle of something of an antique store. It was focused mainly on Asian antiquities; something Sakaki was rather familiar with. He sat down at a small hand crafted and extravagantly painted marble table that held a Go board.

He stared at it for a while and began setting stones down at a fairly rapid pace. He was playing out a match that had been left behind. Or thrown down from a book to attract customers. The stones were strangely heavy; Sakaki figured they were probably made of Pearl and Onyx. Everything else here seemed to be made of precious stones and the like, so why not simple game pieces?

It wasn't long before he finally stopped. Was it over? No... He had reached a crossroad. Being the only player he wasn't sure what the two imaginary person's opinions on this trade off would be. He stared at it for a while; even put his glasses on, but still did not move. After a while something dawned on him. His match was supposed to be held here... And here he was playing a board game.

Sakaki laughed a little under his breath and grinned. He would sit and wait for his opponent. Often times feuds would be settled over a game of Go in ancient Japan. It was a way to show respect for one another by sparing the lives of the already desperate and hurt peasants and lower classes soldiers. Maybe, just maybe, he could get his opponent to finish this game with him.

ooc :: Still don't know how I got put in this match, but what has to be done has to be done. Let's have a good match ^^

Clash entered the mall and, spotting his opponent, crossed his legs and sat down on the other side of the Go board. "So . . . how do you play?"

Paylor Sakaki

Seeing the newcomer sit down, Sakaki smiled. "So... how do you play?" Those words were encouraging. Coming just to fight was quite boring. After all, surely there were others watching and if Sakaki were to go all out not only would things get messy, word of his powers might get out. He nodded, "Well, there's only a few rules, so it won't take long to explain." Using a corner that had been ironically well set up Sakaki proceeded to explain the rules.

While doing so he kept one hand at the table pointing and moving the stones while he kept the other in his lap. He didn't move all that much and didn't speak very loudly. If the man wanted to hear how to play he'd have to lean in or have really, really good hearing. After having explained everything, Sakaki paused, "So, did you follow all of that?" He looked up and awaited an answer.

ooc :: On a side note, are you in armor or carrying any weapons or anything? If you didn't catch it earlier, my weapon and appearance are linked to the name at the top of the post.

"No," he said. He sat back and glanced at his opponent.

Sakaki frowned. His opponent was surprisingly... Dull. Having heard his response he was even more disheartened, "So it seems we won't be settling things this way then..." His words were quite quiet, almost inaudible unless you were good at reading lips or were expecting the words to come out. Sakaki looked down for a moment, hiding his face behind his hair.

"Then we shall fight!" Quickly, using his hand that was on the table his grabbed the bowl used to hold the stones and swung it scattering a crowd of nearly a hundred Go stones at his opponent. All the while he stood up and stuck his knee out so that the table would flip at his opponent and hinder him were he to run. Finally, once standing, Sakaki would stick his free arm behind his back and yank up, then down, sending his sword crashing at his opponent's right shoulder.

ooc :: In light of the recent announcement, shall we begin?

Round 1

7Eapon

The Go stones flew out in an arc, stinging Clash's face.

His eyes widened.

He rose with his opponent and kicked the flying table aside with his right foot.

Blood spurted as Sakaki's sword bit into his right collarbone.

Clash stepped forward on his right foot, attempting to use his boot to pin his opponent's left shoe to the floor. He went for a smash-face double-leg takedown, attempting to slam his forehead into his opponent's sternum and pin him to the floor.

Paylor Sakaki

As soon as his sword connected Sakaki leaned in and even stepped forward his right foot that had been raised as he stood up so that he could push his sword even deeper into the wound causing more pain for his opponent. What he didn't expect was that his opponent would try to bum rush him. His left foot pinned and his chest being pushed by the head smash made it hard to hold his ground. Stepping in to push his opponent had been a strange and unfortunate mistake.

As the two toppled though, Sakaki did not fall without a plan. Right from his chest a patch of porcupine quills would burst forth. Considering the lack of time given in this situation, they would not be fully extended by the time his opponent slammed on top of him, but that abrupt and heavy impact would surely jam them deep into his opponent, including pushing his sword further into his wound.

His sword still in hand he would try to drive it deeper and wiggle it as much as he could until he either shredded the muscles and nerves in his opponent's right arm or got him to retreat. Either way, with the quills and sword in him, Sakaki didn't think he'd stay around long enough to make it very far.

Round 2

show spoilerhide spoiler+ Oracle Body: Transformation – Taking advantage of his bodies strange composition, Sakaki can transform, or alter, parts of his body (on rare occasions the whole thing; full body transformations will be colored green). These parts are sized proportionally, unless used for a full body transformation; in that case, the body will be as it should (smaller or larger).

Generally, Sakaki can only use two at a time, and can only generate one per post. Each part will last for no more than 3 posts with a 1 post quiet period for that limb, and then a 1 post “recharge” period for said animal.

• Porcupine: Sakaki is able to create a roughly 3 inch long patch of porcupine Quills on his body. These Quill’s are about 3-4 inches long and generally can be slammed up to 2 inches deep into the opponent.

9Eapon

Thud!

Sakaki bounced off the floor, probably smacked his head on the concrete.

Clash bit his own tongue as the sword sank deeper into his shoulder.

He forced himself upward on his opponent's body and went for a headbutt, glancing at his wound. He let out a cry as Sakaki tore up his collarbone and rendered the tendons in his shoulder useless. His right arm fell limp. Using his left hand, he threw an inside cross at his adversary's jaw, crouching over his opponent. Blood pooled beneath his shirt from the quill wounds in his chest.

Paylor Sakaki

It took Sakaki a minute to realize how hard he'd hit his head on the landing. Being inside a fancy mall meant there was a heavy tile floor or special carpeting backed by concrete. It wasn't fun, but at least he didn't smash into solid stone. When his opponent's arm fell limp he knew it was time to get his sword out, but Sakaki had other concerns at the moment. His opponent wasn't retreating.

The quills from Sakaki's chest were all either as far as they were going to go or broken off from the impact, so it was time to remove them. Slowly, they began to recede. Slowly, Sakaki started to change again. His head began contort a bit, only a little at first, and there were no visual changes, but something was happening.

With one of his opponent's arms useless, and the other making a fist, his hold was getting weak. Sakaki threw his free arm up into the crease of his opponent's elbow in an attempt to stop the punch. It didn't work, but it lightened the blow to his jaw a little. Sakaki's head went sideways and his arm followed.

He lay there for a brief second still tugging at his sword to free it and waiting for his shift to complete. If all else failed Sakaki would start punching at his opponent's groin. There was no shame in a match this dangerous. But it didn't have to come to that. Not yet. Sakaki would roll his head back to his opponent as scales would start to cover it and his mouth began to extend.

He was turning his head into a dragon. With the arm that rolled in with him, Sakaki would attempt to muscle back his opponent's punching arm to clear his shot at his opponent's face. If he couldn't manage that much he'd probably cripple both of his opponent's arms before the match was over. He opened his mouth and the fire started forming.

His opponent had time to roll off, or try to muscle his mouth shut with his one hand. But Sakaki didn't intend to let it get that far. If he went to roll, he'd grip his sword tightly and try to lever control. If he tried to muscle his mouth shut, Sakaki had no qualms letting go of the sword to use both his hands to prevent it. If it came to that though, he'd grab his sword again as soon as the fire erupted.

This fire can extend about 8 feet out and 3 feet wide over a 2 second period and last for up to 5 seconds. The fire is only strong enough to creates second degree burns, but is still fire after all.

"Monster!" he shouted, struggling against the pull of his opponent's sword.

Bone popped as the dragon wrenched the blade free from Clash's shoulder.

He stumbled backward, using his left hand to clutch the wound.

Blood seeped between his fingers.

He sneered at his adversary, awaiting the jet of flame.

As his opponent scrambled back Sakaki moved to follow. It was excruciating bending his neck and back that far; the wounds from his landing were certainly coming to haunt him. He propped himself up with his arm and tried to take aim. He couldn't engulf his opponent in his entirety, but he could at least get him from the waist and lower.

The fire leapt forth in a conal shape flaring and crackling as it engulfed the wreckage of the table, part of the store and pushed for its target. Sakaki would be turning his body at this point to reach his knees. The final maneuver to stand would come later. It would be painful, but he might have to chase his opponent if the fire didn't catch his legs strongly.

He stabbed his sword into the ground for a strong mount. His head aimed strongly and was ready to turn as necessary. If he couldn't stop his opponent from running, he'd burn the whole mall to the ground. There'd be nowhere to run after this was over.

As Sakaki struggled to stand and take aim, Clash backpedaled out of the line of fire, rolling forward across his shoulders.

The stream of fire barreled past him, dissipating at the eight foot mark.

Clash came up running, making a bee-line for Sakaki's left side.

He got in his opponent's face, using the knuckles of his left fist against the dragon's right eye.

His opponent having dodge the initial stream of fire began to charge in. Did he think that was the end of it? It didn't matter, he was fast and Sakaki wasn't ready to take the punch to the face. His head went sideways, but luckily he was being pushed to the side he was supporting himself with. Using his "sword-post" as a sort of cushion to maintain his balance, Sakaki would then rear his head back and attempt to bite at the first that just punched him.

His one eye now closed this might prove difficult, but either way he was already charging another breath of fire. If he didn't catch his opponent's arm, he would simply breath more fire at him from a closer range this time. All the while, something would be happening to Sakaki's forearms. It would be nearly impossible to see thanks to his heavy jacket, but a sort of armlet was forming around them.

Shortly after forming the armlet, small spikes would shoot out from it creating a sort of serrated edge going up Sakaki's forearms. If his opponent came in close again, Sakaki's free arm would have a surprise for him. If worse came to worse, Sakaki could also pull his sword out and swing again.

"Stay down, b*h! Stay down, b*h! Stay down, b***h!"

Using his left fist, Clash simply punched the dragon over and over in his right eye, ratcheting the creature's head sideways and preventing it from turning into him.

Using his right foot, he added a groin kick for good measure.

"Stay down, b***h!"

The punches kept coming, but surely his hand would be getting sore from punch dragon scales and likely glazing the dragon teeth that pushing at him. Sakaki's neck and head were in a lot of pain, so much so that he finally raise his guard. He moved both of his praying mantis arms into the way of the attacks. One in the way of the fist and one in the way of the kick, spikes pointed out.

With this guard up he'd either wait for his opponent to hit the small blades hidden beneath his coat and use that moment for control, or use his opponent's retreat as his chance to fire his breath. Once he got his chance he'd unload his fire and stand up, draw his sword and push closer and closer to his opponent, blade poised right in the midst of the flame and aimed out in case he would try to charge through it to bum rush Sakaki. The dragon head would be gone soon, so this was it for the fire.

His opponent managed to duck out and hide behind the fire, preventing Sakaki from seeing him to aim down, but when the fire had cleared his opponent had done something stupid. He'd tried to kick upwards to the face of something holding a sword between the two in question. When Sakaki saw the foot flying towards his head he'd simply step out, then pull his sword down and towards the incoming attack. If his opponent wasn't careful, he'd cut his own leg off and then cauterize the wound with the now heated blade.
