.:[The Mobius Room] :.

XXXXThe Mobius Room is a manufactured room similar to one from Radek’s Gridhall. It has black and white marble flooring, and full, single-pane mirrors for walls. Within the 40’x40’ room is erected a wall 20x1.5’x15’, within which there is embedded three doors. Through these doors, soft classical music and the crackling of a fireplace can be heard, but the light through the windows looks stale and old.

General::] Tile floor, mirror walls, and a steady 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The wall appears to be made of granite. The five walls (the four mirror plus the granite) suffer no damage. The ceiling is 50" high.

Weapons::] none

Natural Element Resource::] Air (because it exists)

StageEffects::] Disorientation, Localized Teleporting

REMAINING INACTIVE DOES NOT PREVENT YOU FROM BEING ATTACKED. YOU ARE STILL CONSIDERED A PART OF THE FIGHT. ANY UNANSWERED ATTACKS WILL BE REGARDED AS CONNECTING.

Conditions::]

XXXXsuccess

  • Cause Radek to reach zero [0] charges of Neg; OR

Completely incapacitate Radek

XXXXfailure

  • Be the last one injured

A condition of success trumps the condition of failure

VICTORY::]The victors receive one STRIKER from the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant. ONE. GOT IT? They will be healed of half their wounds and proceed IMMEDIATELY to their next scheduled round. No time will be considered as having existed between the two rounds.

DEFEAT::]The loser is banned from competition in the following round. The remaining three will receive healing for either: ONE grievous wound; OR TWO serious wounds; OR TEN minor wounds. There are no “roll-over” heals, no “heal upgrades,” you get ONE choice. Each remaining member chooses their own heal. They will then proceed IMMEDIATELY to their next scheduled round. No time will be considered as having existed between the two rounds.

EXPEDIENCE ADDENDUM

While your entire team has rights to post, the eliminator will be posting heedless of any post order. Ex: Two fighters may post, then the eliminator, then one fighter, then the eliminator.

I will exercise this only when necessary.

XXXXOdessa received a message on their FIGHTERs It didn't make much sense, but the instructions were too simple to screw up.

Code: Ride the Azure Falcon's elevator to the top floor.

XXXXWhen they reached the top, the elevator would open to the Mobius Room, then collapse on itself, pushing them out as it folded into a board, then sank back into the ground, the ding of the door closing echoing in the large room.

XXXXA man lay on top of the wall that stood erect in the middle of the mirrored room. A leg hung over the edge, dangling freely in the air as he waited for them to arrive...

Elevator > The Mobius Room

Light escaped into a wide and narrow port, scanning over the square shaped box and highlighting the beings who stood within. One, a tall dread headed man gazed forward with a hawk like intensity that seemed to hold the moment as the light ran over them. They gazed forth as if he was a predator watching for the cage that separated him from his prey to rise. The dread headed man possessed a swagger that dripped from him in noxious vapors and fell as heavy as the black overcoat that was slung over his massive shoulders. Beneath the black coat his athletic body hung powerfully still, calm like a bomb waiting to explode.

Suddenly the elevator came to a stop and Tres felt space itself fold around him forcing his body forward, it was a disconcerting feeling at best and when he gazed around at his new surroundings the sensation did not leave him. It was as if the air had been filtered through the musty old tome of a wizard. The air hung with a sense of age and yet volatile arcane danger of which the likes of men were not meant to see. The square pattern on the floor played with space in a way that was made all the more queer by the mirrors that hung on some of the walls. Through the windows of the closed portals in the room Tres could see into scenes that would typically be homely and comforting, but were perverted by some implacable sense of wrongness.

Despite his unease, the psion was the first to step forward and gaze forth at the figure who sat upon the rectangular wall placed oddly in the middle of the marble floored ballroom. Tres tilted his head to the side, eyes narrowing upon the man who lounged on the stone edifice. Tres lifted his hands up at his side with his elbow bent and palms facing the air, a gesture of beholden curiosity.

"Who..!", the psion began in his deep voice that echoed strangely about the gridhall. "In the nine hells are you?!", Tres hands then flowed gingerly to grasp upon his belt buckle.

4The Duke of Id

_______A sly grin appeared from within Malenexum's blank mask. It was him. Malenexum was dressed in a rather unusual getup... for him, anyway. A long goth coat covered almost all of his body, pair of gloves covering his hands. The scarf and the gloves from Hollow's Birth covered his neck and hands. The vampire stepped forward shortly after the elevator folded in on itself, and narrowed his eyes as he fixed his gaze on Radek. His focus on the Eliminator would make Malen completely ignore his fellow teammate, who, in contrast, had no clue of who their Eliminator was. Malen had already met him once before. Behind him, the black creature Exhibitor would appear for a less than a second and then disappear once more, then leave the presence of the room.

"Well, well... fancy meeting you here... I'm guessing you need your face rearranged, too, since I already did your friend's?"

When they finally come, what'll you do to them? Gonna decimate them like you did to me?

Will you leave them stunned and stuttering?

When they finally come, how will you handle them? Will you devastate them deliberately?

'Cause I'm gonna guess they won't be prepared for Thousand Fahrenheit hot metal lights behind your eyes.

XXXXThe silence after the ding caused Radek's eyes to pop open. They were all present and as prepared as they had the foresight to be. He sat up and looked down upon those standing upon his tile floor. They look surreal against the monochrome world he'd made for them. The walls were almost invisible. The reflections of the center wall and Odessa were all that separated the room from the mirrors. Radek stood and ran a free hand through his white hair. He'd changed the color just for this occasion. Grinning behind the high collar of his robes, Radek spread his hands wide and greeted Odessa.

XXXX"Welcome to a small slice of my home. My name is Radek, but you shall address me as Abaddon, the Ruin. For your victory over Bloody Pandas, you have been gifted with me as your Eliminator. Fight hard, and do not worry about bleeding. None of you will die." He was the same color scheme as the triptych of doors. Gray and white coated him from head to toe as if he were an antique. His face cracked as he smiled, a few shards falling to vanish somewhere against the deep darkness of the lounge behind the doors. "Malenexum! I am glad to see you made it. We have much to finish, you and I." His hands lowered as he squatted. They vanished behind his back. He looked like a gargoyle staring down at the faithless and fallen, destitute souls ready for Judgement. His eyes narrowed.

XXXX"There are two way out of this room, both of which take you back through my elevator. The first:" He paused to chuckle, amused at the thought of them succeeding, and produced a glowing blue orb of wiggling energy that floated in his palm between the tips of his curled fingers. "Involves you successfully draining me of my Neg or completely incapacitating me. Knock me out, dismember me, or lock me down, and you win." Within his home, color was interchangeable, as was most reality. Unfortunately for the contestants, they were locked out of these functions due to the tournament's nature. His purple energy would be blue for this performance. He was going all out to make sure his wards had a good show. He also aimed to maim them. That's what they were there for: the fighting, the blood, the glory and the adrenaline of fight-or-flight, life-or-death, grueling crawl to the top that would make them legends. True legend faced Gods, and this was their chance to attain that same fame.

XXXX"However," he continued with severity hanging in his voice, "if you do not meet one of those conditions before time is up, the last one of you that I hit is Eliminated." He stood and clenched his fist, extinguishing the roiling flame. "I will crush you if you do not kill me. This is not a lie. Do not lose, or your wounds will remain painfully through the next round. Win, and only some scratches will remain. Fight, Odessa, for life, for glory, for reward."

XXXXHe produced a sword from behind his back. It had no paint or decoration, and was the color of steel. It was broad and long, 1' 6" wide and 4' long. The edges had notches cut into them all the way down their side. There seemed to be no blade topping it. His back hummed to life, six glass domes lighting into blue globes of dancing electricity.

His clenched hand opened, and with it, the doors.

XXXXAs they simultaneously swung inwards and away from Odessa's starting point, the image of the room behind moved with it. It was trapped in the panes, or was it the glass itself? In the void left behind that fabricated reality existed just that: a void. Blackness swallowed any light daring to break it. Abaddon hopped down from the arch and vanished behind it, only to appear from the center archway a few moments later. His body slipped out from the black like it was a pool of paint that accepted him and moved to oblige his passage. It never rippled or wavered. His entire outfit had changed. His hair was still granite white, but streaks of brilliant color were laced through it. His body was covered in what looked like a skin-tight metal armor that moved with him. Behind him trailed the tail of his coat, fastened at the collar that covered his face. His legs were covered in leather leggings, and his black boots made no noise as they pounded into the tile, speeding him towards Tres [see avatar for reference]. The sword, an updated version of a Maquahuitl, was held behind Abaddon with a stiff grip in his right hand so that it trailed behind.

XXXXThat is until Abaddon hopped and threw his legs forward like he was going for the gold medal for the long jump. His left foot hit and as he skid and let friction grab his sole his right planted and flung his body forward in a spin. That spin added strength and speed to Abaddon's swing as he whipped his arm around like a pitcher on the mound. His sword came with it and was headed for Tres's legs. As he was doubled over, Abaddon's free hand plunged into his stomach, ripping the armor and his flesh in two. He pulled from it a length of rubber tubing covered in ordered black blades 3cm long. There was mesh wire encasing the whole of it, and it was topped at the head with a clasp the size of a hand; it was shaved down to a blade on the outer and inner edges. Once he had followed through his swing, his left hand would throw his modified intestines at Tres. The heavy clasp soared at the combatant, the length of intestine growing longer as it rolled out of Abaddon's wound.

Suddenly, a text message. Malenexum would no doubt be left wondering why Moonblade was bothering him at all (having never met), much less during the middle of an elimination round. Rest assured, it was a matter of vital importance.

Code: To: Malenexum

From: A.Moonblade

Watch out. We have a badass over here.

Tool.

The best part was that Moonblade didn't even really know who Malenexum was, having not bothered to watch any of his matches.

7Glory Sieg

Gloria was standing behind both Tres and Malen as they departed the elevator. The woman was silent the entire time, as she had nothing to say either positively or negatively to her teammates after her lack of assistance during their fight. Which it seemed, they didn't need, but it had been her job.

"The vampire knows who he is," she said in a harsh voice to the men. But having never been in the tournament, the one word their opponent seemed to emphasize had her attention.

"Eliminated? Like the Eliminator matches they used to have?" She'd heard of them, well the horror stories anyway. "These weren't used last year."

As the man charged Tres, Gloria could hardly hide her revulsion as she watched him pierce his own stomach, feeling her own organs protest as the hook shot out at her former mentor.

[*] Crystal Shard [Immediate - 1 point]

In a sharp flash of pink light, a crystal appeared in her hand, 7.5 inches long and an inch wide. Perfectly crafted for throwing, she let her hand fly as the man was bearing down on Tres with flesh hook and sword. It would go for the man's face, if only to distract him and give her teammates a chance to get involved.

Unfortunately for Mr. Moonblade, Malenexum and the rest of Odessa were currently outside of the same plane of existence as the rest of the Ark. The Mobius Room existed only in once place, and that was in Sarcophagus: Radek's personal world. Simple things such as text messages and IMs and E-mails would never find their destination, as their destination no longer existed in a place it could be located.

Perhaps it would finally be received once a winner, or loser, had been decided.

XXXXGlory's shard would miss Abaddon, barely, as he ducked and attacked Tres's legs. It whizzed past him and into the portal he'd come from, vanishing into the flat inky void with no trace of its existence---

XXXX---were it not for its immediate reemergence from the left doorway, according to Odessa's perspective. With no change to velocity, the shard streaked towards Glory without discretion. It was ready to impale its own creator.

Jabroni Wrote:

"My name is~"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS!"

The psion bellowed at the top of his lungs, interrupting the bewildering looking Radek. Even though Tres interrupted he would let Radek finish, only a fool would disrespect someone who clearly deserved as such. The psion could sense the power in the way the man carried himself but it would not be Tresondros Ecstuffuan if he did not apply his customary shtick to even the foulest of fiends.

As the psychic warrior shouted his hands rose from his belt letting the black overcoat slump limp to the ground revealing the gleaming crystalline arm that betrayed the elder eldritch sensation that hung about ever inch of this disconcerting ballroom. Impressive but certainly not equally so was the powerful musculature on Tres's right arm.

Yet the world would not have time to gaze upon the perfection that was Tresondros Ecstuffuan because they would have their attentions snatched by the massive blade without equal. The terrible looking implement must have been a foot wide at least and even Tres's eyes went wide as they beheld it.

Not a moment later after Radek brandished his fiendish looking tool Radek fell behind the arching wall at the center of the room and then emerged from seemingly endless black void a different thing entirely. Tres did not even feel his right hand go for his mind blade that was strapped to his back by brown leather thongs that seemed to be a part of his vest. The action was instinctual, like the shiver up one's spine as fear gripped them!

Radek...

No...

THE DEVIL ABADDON

Leaped at him like some Olympian athlete. The gesture would have been fool hearty for a man of less speed before the martial perfectionist, but pure physical power and agility made all the difference because before Tres knew it Abaddon had set upon himself a spin and like a dervish of death his blade arched wide for his legs!

Tres still game and demanding respect from even the most godly of foes was able to see the wide swing, however fast, and was able to make a short hop just high enough to have the blade swish harmlessly beneath his feet. Then Tres took in a gasp of air as he beheld something grizzly and brutal. Abaddon while still spinning from the swing tore into his belly, through the mercurial looking armor upon his damned flesh and cast his intestines towards Tres.

Abaddon was close. were it not for the fact that Tres was already on guard the clasp may have tore into his chest. Just as Tres hit the ground the honed edge of the clasp slammed into the right hand held mind blade, who's upper section was being reinforced by Tres's crystalline left hand.

The weight of the blow pushed Tres back several feet.

Then, with all of the psions might he pushed the head of the intenstine to his right while making a shuffling step to his left. He watched to see if the intestines were controlled by some supernatural force or were still subject to gravity and if they were not, the psychic warrior attempted to make a diagonal slash from his upper left down to his right to cleave through the intestines and sever the foul organ from its master. Tres moved in the direction that he did to distance himself from Abaddon's massive sword to give him some time to react if it struck again.

As this happened Tres noticed out of the corner of his eye the way Gloria's shard flew through the arch at the center of the arena and came out to his left.

10The Duke of Id

"YOUR FIGHT IS WITH ME, MAGGOT!"

_______Through the eye holes of the mask the near-white blue hues of the vampire would glow out towards Radek as his gaze was fixed upon him. Malen had suddenly dashed forward with his black sword at the ready, eschewing the mask he was wearing and tearing a mask from its cord near his waist. The Mask of the Slasher would then be put on his face, and now the game changed drastically. An overwhelming sense of bloodlust would begin to fill Malenexum as he dashed past the psion, ducked then outstretched his legs against the floor and jumped into the air. The Heartless, the black sword in his left hand, reared upwards towards his own head, elbow bent, winding for a slash that would likely slice Radek's torso in half if he ignored it. All the while his right hand was opened and waiting for any other interruptions that arose from the being before him, which he knew would have some other trick up his sleeve. The vampire grinned at the swishing intestine that the psion had managed to stop.

"ILL HELP YOU OPEN UP!"

_______As the black-coated vampire came down towards Radek, striped scarf billowing in the air behind him, the cogs within his mind were starting to turn. This man, whoever he was, had an uncanny power about him, and was not to be taken lightly. The performance at the Aqualung proved as much of Radek. None-the-less, Malenexum wasn't a pushover either. Now this was a true battle of monsters! Little did Malenexum know that both he and his rival actually shared the same kind of power source...

_______During all of this, the effects of the mask would take its effects on any onlookers. The Mask of the Slasher would look like a bloodied hockey mask, though it would warp depending on the person that looked at it into something... intimidating. If there was anything within the recesses of the onlooker's mind that would remind them of intimidating fear, of fear of being hurt, or an overwhelming sense of dread, the mask would shift to represent the visage (if any) of that idea. This memetic sense of distress would either be ignored or impact the viewer, but it would be present.

The voodoo, who do, what you don\'t dare do

Glory Sieg Wrote:

XXXXAbaddon smiled underneath his collar as Tresondros stepped up to take the lead for his team. As the demon stood he glanced at Tres's evasive shuffle and heard the roar of the vampire Malenexum. The skilled warrior gave the mouth of the voice nary a glance as he responded to the immediate contestant. The bladed hook had been deflected by a psionic blade. Interesting. A mental warrior. This was not what he had been expecting of a member of the Ecstuffuan family. Sieg was a holy warrior. Tres seemed to rely less on the Holy world than his kin. Abaddon had not been prepared for that, as the fight between him and Ebris Dhifi was not long enough to obtain any information. Abaddon set his feet and his intestines circled back to his left hand, their length remaining in the air like piping. Tres would see their sides bulge closest to him and the bright blue neon light inside burst forth from between the atoms of the rubber intestinal wall. Liquid Neg flared out like magma on the sun as blades of pure negative energy, specific only to Radek himself, slashed out at Tres in four strikes like claws. With a flick of his wrist, Abaddon threw the hook at Gloria, the blade ricocheting off of the tile floor and up at Glora's crotch as he leapt back from Malenexum's charge.

Code: Neg]The Neg is a waste byproduct of the parasite feeding off of Radek's eldritch nightmares. The excess collects within his cell walls in the form of Liquid Neg (flame), which Radek can manipulate through concentration. When an energy-based attack he is not weak to is launched at Radek the infusing of external energy is feasted upon by the parasite and returned as Jagged Neg (lightning/plasma). His organs are the reservoirs for this influx of refuse, and must be expunged within two posts, or his internal organs will rupture and turn him into a bomb. If the capacity exceeds, the energy is violently returned, like feedback, and fries Radek's cells, reducing him to an incapacitated form for three posts. While incapacitated, he cannot morph or use Neg, and instead must rely on his natural skill.

XXXXThe mask the monster wore resembled the face of his maker, Raid, and Abaddon felt himself wince as he swallowed that compulsive compassion and dread for him, a creature of pure malice. The blackened skull staring at him lashed out, and Abaddon ducked underneath the blade and spun around to Mal's back, where Abattoir would land, broad-bladed, against the vampire before bursting in a concussive blast that sent Mal flying towards the right portal. That monster would get his turn to bleed, but Tres needed to be put in his place first. Using the kick-back from Abattoir's only defensive augmentation, Abaddon spun back at Tres with a slice at the right side of his rib-cage. As the blade moved through the air, it slid forward on the hilt and opened like a Venus Fly-Trap, the razors along the edge tilting in 45 degrees to create teeth. The mouth rushed at Tres, and Abaddon waited to see the Christian man bleed.

XXXXAs he took in the three fighters around him, Abaddon\'s left arm began to split, the metal shattering in a terrible noise, and his bones broke apart. The lower hand would pull out more of Viscera and work it through the air like a corkscrew as Abaddon rushed back once his swing was finished; If Tres had been struck, the razors would saw through him and the blade would snap shut, biting a piece out of him that would flatten across the inside of the blade, blood splattering across the monochrome floor in deep red Rorschach tests, and if it missed then the teeth would saw across the defense and close once it had lost touch.

12The Duke of Id

_______A growl was emitted from within the confines of the mask as he felt a concussive force hit his back. Infuriated, Malenexum would feel the blast suddenly punch him through the air... before he'd push his feet into the air. The concussive force would force him into a near full stop mid-air, instead of a jump, but it was enough to stop him from reaching the wall on the other side of the room. He'd stop himself a good 10 or so feet from Radek, back flipping while turning right-wise in the middle of the air before touching ground.

_______Once landed on the floor, staring at Radek's back, Malenexum would take a quick dash forwards before activating yet another ability. Suddenly, all of Malenexum's attributes would be doubled in potency. His muscles would increase in strength, buffing up visibly through the black coat he wore enough to strain the coat, biceps and pectoral muscles showing through the cloth and almost ripping it. Skin became as tough as leather, becoming hard to pierce through and resistant to damage. In contrast, he also became much more nimble than before, able to turn and twist his body like a contortionist if need be.

"DON'T YOU DARE IGNORE ME!"

_______As he dashed forwards, both his feet touched the ground at one point and suddenly his whole body sprung forwards at 20 mph as if the ground itself was carrying his feet forward, or as if he had put on a pair of roller skates and had a jet propeller on his back. This pseudo-magical rush would zip towards him at dangerous speeds towards Radek's flank, and as he went he would wind up his sword for a diagonal slash from bottom right to top left which would slice through Radek's back. Once reached his destination, which would be in a split second (considering he was going forward at about 20 mph to close a gap of 7-6 feet or so), he would use both the momentum of his speed and the torque of his body to his favor and slash the sword with the added strength these two elements would provide, just about guaranteeing a clean, body and armor-rending cut that would cost Radek dearly if he ignored it.

_______If Radek turned to look behind him, or even felt something coming from behind him, the eliminator would feel Raid slashing forward at top speed, wanting nothing but Radek's head. The feeling that nothing could sate the bloodlust of his maker, and that all would not be good no matter if he ran, or fought back, would try to instill itself within the eliminator's mind as Malenexum dashed forward.

As a diversion, Gloria was rather surprised that it almost hit its mark. Meaning this guy was either sure of his ability to take anything, didn't consider Gloria a threat, or he simply had zeroed his tunnel vision in on Tres.

All of which were good by her as it let her a certain amount of--

A glimmer pink to her left made her look up as she realized the crystal she had thrown was now coming back at her. Even as she moved to catch it, a clang of metal caught her attention and she glanced down to see the hook bouncing up towards her. Moving to the side, raising her right leg, she caught the crystal in her left hand, letting the hook fly between her legs as she pivoted. As the crystal was attuned to her own psionic nature, she didn't need as much focus to catch it, although she did register the blade bite into her palm as she clasped it. Bringing it down, she went to impale the chain of viscera to the tile floor, lest Radek was still able to manipulate it from a distance.

She did a moment to notice that in the future, leather pants were not good preventative measures against sharp and pointy objects.

14Tres Ecstuffuan

The Mobius Room

Once Ogranix, Tres's mind blade, struck the fluttering vile intestines distended from their owner a dread sense rushed through the mind blade which was merely a physical manifestation of the psions arrogance.

The intestines circled back around to Radek's left hand, forming some sort of bizarre defense around him. The sides facing Tres of the intestines swelled with some fowl light and in that moment Tres felt a disconcerting yet oddly familiar sensation.

The psion recovered his short sword shaped blade on guard held in his right hand angled up to his left above his right shoulder in a modified boxing stance. It was a stance that was seen in several stick fighting fighting styles such as Krabbi Krabong and Escrima.

The psychic warriors eyes went wide as a dank blue light vomited forth from the swelling growths upon the intestines. They did not burn but he felt his flesh recoil from their mere presence. The psychic however, ready to defend himself bent his knees to drop his body low while bringing his crystalline left arm up with the forearm bent close to the elbow to form a suitable guard along with Ogranix, his confident blade.

"AaaRGH!", Tres shouted as the four pronged flame like a massive claw found just enough holes in Tres's guard due to its liquid consistency to tear across his upper back and upper left pectoral muscle. A sizzle of flesh resounded and yet it did not burn, the skin simply died. Had a normal man received such a blow, he the negative energy would have simmered deep into the flesh, destroying muscular tissue and maybe more...

Yet Tres was no normal man.

Wrote: 4: Tres has a heightened resistance to poison, disease and negative energy based attack due to the fact that he is now a partial astral construct. Tres can still be damaged by poison's and disease but he can resist their affects for an additional post than normal. Tres also takes 75% of the damage he normally would from negative energy based attacks such as 'Inflict Wound'.

It hurt.

But Tres honestly thought it would have been worse.

Tres lowered loosened his guard while tearing off the leather vest that had been destroyed by the negative energy, revealing burn like wounds that were grey as if they had not been scorched by fire but touched by death itself. Yet these wounds were not as deep as perhaps Abaddon expected.

"My turn...", the psion muttered with a furious expression upon his immaculately hansom face. Yet just as this happened Malexenum rushed past him to engage Abaddon head on. Tres grinned when he saw the vampire rejected, it seemed that Abaddon had more for Tres in store. Tres would already be moving as Abaddon turned after striking Malexenum, striking at the right side of Tres's rib cage.

Tres knowing that if he got in close with Abaddon and his large weapon, despite the difference in speed or strength Tres would gain a strong tactical advantage.

Tres shot forward immediately after he recoiled from the claw like blast of negative energy, trying to get into infighting range with Abaddon as he turned away from Malexenum to continue his attack. As Tres stepped forward, he stylishly switched his right hand mind blade into a reverse handed grip so that the flat of the blade would be positioned along his right forearm. The gaping maw of the toothy sword would crash into the emerald green mind blade which was supported against the right forearm of the psion which was held close to the bicep to keep everything tight and stable, allowing Tres to absorb the blow.

Abaddon's attack itself would be less powerful because Tres got in close, where the most momentum in the swing of the blade would be higher up on the weapon. Even so, the blow was such that were it not for the fact that Tres was throwing his own attack and building his own momentum, that he might have been thrown off of his feet. As soon as Tres got into infighting range he would throw a left shovel hook with his crystalline arm towards Abaddons right abdominal obliques.

"WAH-TAWH!"

XXXXMalanexum's charge drove a needle of sweat through Abaddon's heart as his augmented mind watched the accelerated approach from the mirror walls. A sneer burned into Abaddon's face as he leaned forward into Abattoir and drove it further at Tres. Lightning crackled from the friction as the teeth ground against Tres's sword. The fist shone brightly as it came at Abaddon's abdomen. He had no choice, and had to Dive. One of the globes on Abaddon's back went dark as the full 10 charges of Neg were injected into Abaddon. His eyes swam as black cut their white orbs in half. The horizontal line represented a great, euphoric rush into Radek's mind. He got high for that one second after the rush of sweet Neg. He sighed as his muscles and armor opened, uneven edges along the mouth making the teeth of the cavern that Tresondros just put his fist into instead of landing the punch he'd wished for. Intestines whipped out and swirled around Tres's crystal skin. Blue lighting sparked within the manufactured mouth, illuminating the coiled intestines inside; the walls of Viscera began to swell and the blue light grew in intensity once more. The smell of burning air filled the room just before the mouth SNAPPED shut, crystal cracking under the force of the guillotine blow. Tres's hand was now sealed inside of Abaddon's side mid-way up his forearm. The Hammer blow struck the rubber and released its energy. It traveled through his cavity and blew out the other side of his stomach, lengths of Viscera dangling from the hole. Abaddon laughed and spit black blood from his mouth, the same as what was now spattered across the floor.

XXXXAnd then the parasite returned the psionic energy used to create the blast. The Jagged Neg that leapt out in jagged tendrils from Abaddon's side and into Tres's body would usually have to be consolidated into spells or attacks to empty the reservoirs before internal hemorrhaging would begin, but as Tresondros was now grounded to Abaddon through the Dive-made mouth, it passed from one to the other as if they were really one entity. [2 charges of Jaggd Neg expelled per Tres/Abaddon post. 5-2=3 remaining charges] The energy should have shut down Tres's muscle function, but he was lucky enough to only feel muscle spasms through his arm and pectoral muscle. To add to the pain, the cavity inside of Abaddon filled with Liquid Neg as he released it from the intestinal trappings to "boil" the crystal off of Tres's arm, and then his flesh, and muscle, and bone. Were it not for his resistance, the flames would cling to him and continue to eat away until it had run out of energy with which to "cancel out" with. Then the intestines began to wind back in, like a winch and cable...

XXXXMalenexum's sword would begin its sweep after his expedient approach, and Abaddon's leg kicked back, the soles of his feet bristling into a multitude of velcro-like hooks, in a rear horse kick. Abaddon's voice roared as his foot exploded at the ankle and flew at. or into, Mal, sending him back once again. Would he make it through the archway this time? Would he be forced to the ground and made to feel the foot digging into his body, hooks becoming roots for the new flesh trying to steal the monster's motor skills by compromising his nervous system through acupuncture. The speed of the impact would drive Abaddon forward, his feet shuffling as he used Tres to keep his balance. His Living Metal bones tapered and slid from his ankle to create a metal piling shaft peg leg. It clinked into place and tapped against the tile. "YOU THINK YOU CAN MEASURE UP TO MY MAKER? YOU ARE A WORM, MALENEXUM!" The tails of Abaddon's coat split into four strips each, and the blades tucked within the hem slid free. They were each 3" long, one to each strip, and the eight of them danced behind Abaddon like snakes, the coat peeling off of him to create eight tails that danced about him. Truth be told, his entire outfit was made from his skin and blood, just as Viscera was made of his intestines; his cells changed their make-up and design to suit his wishes. Two tails lashed out at Tres's closest leg, hoping to slice through tendons and render the limb useless. The rest rose to wave and point their tips at Mal.

XXXXGloria was a spry woman, and as Radek dealt with the two men, she was left to deal with the snaking Viscera. Her legs stepped over the rubber hose, and as her hand tightened around her pink crystal the hose raced to whip around her planted leg and dig the studs into her calf. Then the intestines began to wind back in, like a winch and cable... The hook opened like a cobra's mouth and swung in, the larger curve aiming to puncture her outer thigh and lock the grip it had on her. The rubber would roll her and drag her, bringing her around to slam into Tres with the tentacle-esque appendage. It was disorienting: the rolling image of the room reflected countless times as mirrors caught mirrors that caught mirrors and so on, tunneling out into infinity, swimming around her as her perspective remained changing. Unknown to Glory, the clasp was siphoning her blood and giving it to Radek. It was a slow process, as it had to be carefully passed through the walls of the intestine so that it didn't boil and vanish with a single touch of Neg. Leather wasn't very protective against anything Abaddon had, not just the sharp and pointy things.

XXXX"MALENEXUM, Abaddon shouted as he look at the reflection of a reflection at the vampire who'd had been personally marked by Radek for this moment. ""I AM WHAT WAITS FOR YOU BEYOND DEATH. I WAIT FOR ALL OF YOU." Once Gloria was in range, Abaddon lifted Abattoir above his head and the mouth snapped open again, the hinged blade hovering over Gloria's head. It fell, ready to sheer off her left arm and snap shut, biting it off at the elbow s that her forearm would land on the tile and roll twice before stopping, the pink crystal tinkling onto the floor behind the lax hand that once held it..

"WHAT THE..."

The expletive was cut off by the psions eyes going wide with extraordinary amounts of pains as the gaping maw slammed shut upon his arm. Where there had once been mercurial armor there was now a toothy grin that chewed angrily upons Tres's crystalline limb.

Now most believed that since Tres's left arm was made of crystal that the limb was without sensation and that he could not sense the damage being levied upon it. No, this was not the case at all. Tres's left arm was strong and durable as any armor, but it was also a manifestation of his mind. In a way, the tactile sensation held within Tres's left arm was even more sensitive than that of flesh and so when he felt that guillotine like grip he shouted in agony!

"ARRGGHHHAAA"

The scream came not as a plea for the pain to stop but as a physiological reaction. Yet despite the involuntary response his mind remained focused on the task at hand. Tres knew what he had to do and with such focus that he perceived nothing else save for pain that drove like a dagger into his mind he acted as soon as possible. By the point Tres had found his way through the foggy miasma of suffering he felt his knees weak and Abaddon dragging him forward, but whats more he simply encountered the sensation of a familiar energy returning to his fist.

_______It had to be done quickly, otherwise it wouldn't work. Malenexum, who already had bent his knees as he approached forward with rapid expedience, would suddenly jump upwards. He was well-aware that the creature before him would be clearly aware of his approach, and as he had screamed towards Radek while nearing the eliminator. This had been done on purpose. He was also aware that it would probably not go by unchecked without retaliation. The whole point was to have Radek believe that it'd be something as simple as a dash forward and a slice... when in reality it would be a much more elaborate attack. As Malenexum jumped, he bent his body to the right and caused it to tip in the same direction in an arc, forcing Malenexum upside down.

_______This caused Malenexum to jump in a side-flip while being pushed forward by his 20mph momentum. The kick would then kick and stab into nothing but air below Malenexum... or 'above' him, as it happened just above his hair. However, the pull from the psion and Radek's own concussive kick would drag the eliminator's body forward twofold due to the amount of force both pulling and pushing forward of Radek. These events, along with the probable reaction from the parasitic eliminator, would prevent Malenexum a clear shot at his body from this angle, as Radek would probably roll forward as he was dragged further. But this was fine by the vampire. There was one other thing he had in store for our dear parasitic eliminator...

"NOW, END!"

In under a second Malenexum would suddenly once again push his legs back up with his newly increased strength in rapid succession to his last jump and turn his left wrist while he extended his arm forward, forcing his blade into a horizontal position. This would halt his forward momentum (as he had aimed his legs against his current trajectory and upwards). The jump would make a literal burst of air escape from under his feet as he pushed the air hard enough to make a Double Jump...

...and head straight for the ground in a sudden leap of strength that could carry three times his own weight. Mind, he would hit the ground hard, but he'd land in front of Radek while his left hand, holding the sword, would push forward like an uppercut, swinging the sword as he fell and swinging cleanly all the way down from Radek's right shoulder to Radek's left leg...

...cleaving the aberration in half, stopping the thing in its tracks.

_______Once Raid hit the ground violently, causing it to crack under the strength he had behind his powerful descent, he'd get back up by pushing the floor with both arms and letting his feet take hold of the floor before Radek. On the floor he'd leave an imprint of his left fist, a jagged hole where the sword and hand landed. There, Raid would, with sword still in hand, initiate a series of quick punches that would descend onto whatever remained of the creature after the brutal slash with the strength of battering rams each. His left arm had been broken across the forearm and the elbow from the impact against the ground even with his renewed strength, but he would still push through with bravado, taking full responsibility for Radek's demise.

_______Again Radek would feel the dread enter him, this time more than before now that Malenexum stood before him with the mask to his face, hoping to end the battle with a fierce full assault on the aberration before him that reminded him so much of Hollow's Birth. A low, reverbating growl of pure hatred and malice emanated through the vampire's mask as he brutalized his opponent further with every punch sent into the mess of tendrils and Neg.

A pained gasp left her throat as she felt the blades on the outside of the tube dig into her leg. Her leg suddenly pulled out from under, Gloria fell back to the tile, watching the intestine pull her back towards Radek. As the hook came around to try to lock it's hold onto her leg, Gloria thrust the pink shard into its mouth, keeping it at bay, whilst trying not to focus on her image being tossed about on the mirrored walls.

"I ****** hate Fun Houses!" she growled, turning her head to avoid braining herself on Tres's now spiky crystal arm. Landing on her back, she had barely a moment to breath before seeing that freakish sword of Abaddon's bearing down for her arm. "Oh ****** me!"

Code:

[*] Burst [Immediate - 1 points]

This power increases Gloria's movement speed by pushing herself forward (or in another direction) with a telekinetic thrust. It allows her to move at 10 more feet per post than she normally could at her base land speed (which is about that of an average athletic person). This power can be manifested quickly because it doesn't require a lot of focus as to where the energy is being applied. She can also use this ability to displace herself in the air about 10 feet in any single direction (a straight path).

Her green eyes flashed pink for an instant and suddenly Gloria slid to the left, the psionic power moving her out of the direct path of Radek's sword. She was still leashed to him, it turned into a bit of a roll, but it allowed her to grab Tres's mind blade as she moved past it.

"This is a bad time to tell me s**t to do!" she yelled at Tres, but still brought the green blade down to try and separate the viscera from it's owner. The pink shard would shimmer before dispersing into formless energy as the crystal's duration expired, greatly cutting down the time Gloria had before the clasp tried to make more love bites.

[forgive my spelling errors I posted this in a hury.]

XXXXIf Radek had the time, he would applaud them for their excellent teamwork. A weaker foe would be dead meat. Radek had come prepared to face four people, and survive, so the three who had actually showed would discover what a demi-god was like realized before them, as tangible as the swords they held and the pain he caused, to give them a chance to grow as fighters, and to face their destiny blindly. Instead he would laugh loudly as Tres gripped his skull and reinforced the link between them. Their infinite loop of feedback would cause something in Tresondros that he could not have known would happen to him, and if he did he would have exhausted every other option before resorting to this technique that would probably throw the fight.

XXXXAbaddon felt his intestine shift and suffer puncturing wounds in 8 sections of his weapon, and with the internal intrusion his insides shifted with them. Me became malleable to Tres, as their minds came closer and closer to syncing, except for one issue: Abaddon's brain was augmented with cybernetic implants and replacement to make it as fast a as computer. And the parasite had its own mind. The energy being fed into Abaddon had to go somewhere before his lungs ruptured from the expanding storage. With no force of impact on his boot, Abaddon's eyes flicked to the mirrors as his attention moved away from Tres for just a moment. The vampire was in the air once again, and commanding the particles like they were floors everywhere, paper-thin and translucent, and only manifested themselves as solid when his feet slammed against it. Jagged Neg was boiling inside of Abaddon, and had to be released. Upon Malenexum/Raid's dive, Abaddon roared, roared like a monster as one worth slipped through and ripped at the courage of those humans standing before this GOD before them. It sounded like a beast, rough ad hungry, searching for its master.

XXXX"FAAAAAAAAAAATHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR."

XXXXThe voice was not Abaddon, but the parasite finally screaming in anger at the impostor. If it weren't for the worm, Abaddon may have actually believed Malenexum's mask, but the link of magical sublimity could discern Mal's weak aura from the imposing one of that abandoned lich. The pieces of him Radek has salvaged from that desert wasteland were now buried under Sarcophagus, and kept as a relic for him to worship in times of need and uncertainty. Abattoir, as it was raised to bifurcate Gloria, twisted with computed speed, hydraulic joints receiving the electric message and moving as commanded, and as the blades struck Jagged Neg engulfed the maquahuiitl and connected with Mal's own blade. As before, the connection created a concussive, repulsing blast that would force Mal's arm to rocket down and into the tile floor as the burst, and Tres' charge, pushed him, Tresondros, and Gloria towards the Triptych Wall.

XXXXTres' wings were exquisite, and as he finally slipped free of Abaddon, the worst would happen. Psychic snap-back would cause Tresondros to begin experiencing the horrors that gave Radek his access to Neg. skrrrrzt Static would rift through his vision before Tres found himself in complete darkness, thousands of suns that varied in color from red, green, orange, purple, and other normal hues into colors he couldn't describe, nor seen before, and the voices--the voices like a million drums rumbling in a cacophonous war-march--shook the man to his core. Then their hands would appear, and the suns would be realized as eyes, and the monstrosities countless times bigger than Radek pressed down upon Tresondros, tentacles and claws and teeth--somanyteeth--skrrrrzt Tresondros was back in The Mobius Room, on his back as he'd slipped from Abaddon's wound, and his crystal arm was streaked with swirling black tendrils that burned as they moved. Radek's energy was now swimming inside of Tres, mental energy infused into the man's arm as he'd wished it to be against Radek's permission. Abaddon was happy with the result, though, as Gloria one again moved Abaddon away from the rest of the group by boosting to her left/his right. His laugh rang out once more as Gloria lifted Ogranix and prepared to slice it open.

XXXXThen, with the Jagged Neg fueled by the entirety of Tresondros\'s assault upon Abaddon, he forced Abattoir to open into Brutal form.

XXXXThe blade opened completely on both sides, the mouths snapping open to reveal the middle panel of the sword. Upon it were etched two names, both in blood: Tresondros Ecstuffuan; Gloria Ruinen. The two had taken dmg and their blood had been worked through Abaddon's body and sewn into the sword. The blade had tripled in width, now looking more like a massive square axe. A terrible, vibrating static began, and to the two listed on the blade, things were about to get... strange.

Code: Abattoir's central panel is connected through synaptic links with Radek. It reacts to his command to open. When the center panel if covered in blood, it will open to Brutal Abattoir. Radek can also force the blade to open, but it requires Jagged Neg to do so. Liquid Neg can only create the repulsive burst. Upon opening, Abattoir will "sing" and cause hallucinations and illusions within the minds of those whose names are etched into its blade.

XXXXGloria's leg would quickly twist, likely dislocating her patella with the force of the intestine's retreat from certain decapitation. As the blade came down, she would find herself alone in The Mobius Room. Bells began to gently ding, echoing around her, as Radek appeared once more from atop of the Triptych Doorway. He was completely nude, the purple flesh of his having engulfed his legs and arms to the torso, and from there extending tendrils of the infected flesh across Radek's still somewhat normal chest. His dead, milky-white eyes stared at her. "Child, you sit before the Lord. Come. Let me show you the way out." The mirrors shifted as large dolls waddled into her sight. Their heads remained glaring down at her as the ceiling stretched up, up, up, until the white vanished inside of the mirror's reflections. The children grew with them until they towered over her. Radek's arm extended as he offered a hand to her.

XXXXTresondros's hallucinations had already begun, though they would have been constant had he not lucked out by linking his mental energy with Abaddon's. In the long run, it was a terrible idea, but it spared him from complete incapacitation for the rest of the round. As it stood, Gloria would be hard-pressed to snap out of the forced insanity.

XXXXIntestines snaked back into Abaddon as he hopped back into the left arch way (his right), and emerged from the right, only to step back into it once fully emerged. The static screaming continuing to fill the room as he slipped in and out and behind the black portal into nothingness. He did not reappear, but through the mirrors he could be seen emerging behind the archway.. His voice called out to Malenexum and Tresondros. "Gloria is losing, gentlemen. Come save your princess, you heroic fools! YOU WANTED ME TO YOURSELF, MALENEXUM. COME ******** GET IT, MAGGOT."

_______The Heartless emitted a loud 'CLANG!' when Radek's blade met Malenexum's. The attack was sure to break through the parry since even for someone of Radek's strength Malen's whole weight, plus the momentum of the upside down uppercut, plus the momentum of the jump all contributed to the slash would be enough to bend either the wrist or outright the whole arm aside as he dove for a finishing blow... but then a concussive force ejected him away from the eliminator.

His body would let his left leg touch ground soon after and his right arm suddenly pushed the ground away from himself as both his legs began to push up and down against the floor into a violent sprint towards Radek. His leg strength along with his speed, allowed him to close the gap equally as fast as his previous rush. The eliminator could feel, and see Raid getting closer with the deepgrounded determination to end him. As if his father was willing to destroy him completely. Upon reaching enough of a close distance, he'd proceed to deliver the barrage of quick punches that would beat the creature to a pulp, sword in hand, and completely crush Radek. CLANG!

The blade hit the empty tile with as force as she could muster, which she felt reverberate through her arms. As the ringing stopped, Gloria was suddenly aware of how silent the room was. Still seated, she whipped her head around, making sure she didn't just go deaf while being dragged across the room. The bells were an eerily soothing background noise as she pulled herself to her feet, hissing in irritation as her knee protested. Her mind raced with the numerous ideas of where she was.

Pocket Dimension. Sensory Numbness. Hallucination. Time Travel. Without knowing jack s**t about Radek, she had no idea even what caused it, let alone how to get out.

"I was enjoying the background noise, you d**k," she replied sharply when Radek appeared and spoke to her. She eyed the dolls with a bit more wariness, looking from them to Radek. To his horror he saw black growths erupting from his exquisite crystalline skin. Tres shouted in terror at the sight of this unnatural thing growing from within him.

Malenexum had managed to land a strike. Abaddon's heart would have raced had he ever used it to move blood anymore. Adrenaline would have been filling his system, had he not evolved past such an insignificant chemical. The fight had finally begun; the fight he had intended from the moment he had seen Dzan fall before the foe facing Abaddon now was finally commencing, and Abaddon had the upper-hand. Though the vampire rushed him, Abattoir's blade dragging across the floor did not prevent Abaddon's two left arms from forming sphere's of Neg to throw at Malenexum which "popped" in flight and spread out in an arc of searing cold energy. Abaddon laughed like a maniac at Mal's taunt. "Don't taunt the alligator until after you've crossed the creek."

XXXXshloop and he was gone, behind the veil, waiting for Malenexum to cross through....

XXXXTres's cry would echo in the Mobius Room, mirrors reflecting his screaming body millions of times. His arm pulsed, and the shadows retreated inwards, filling in the hollow at the center until it took on the form of bones, but not whole bones; they looked as if Tresondros had his invisible skeletal structure dusted with metal shavings, their random markings thicker here than there, scattered with no true method against a magnet. He was gone again. He was upside-down, staring at a massive black cube that had smaller cubes, perhaps 1/20th the size, sliding along its surface. His only indication to being upside down was Radek, standing before him, strings of metal branching out from The Gridhall to bring him before the warrior's face; his dread hung towards the floor, giving Tresondros a rather comical look to Radek. And then the sound of thunder coming from above. Were Tres to look, he would see a writhing floor, monsters so small from here that he could not make them out, but their endless shambling....

XXXX"Gloria will be mine. Train her well for me." skrrrzt And back to reality, with the pain gone but the image remained. This fight had extended beyond the tournament, now. The Void

The psion had seen this thing before. A blue print of a device which could collect an immeasurable amount of knowledge, the mengers sponge. Tres had found scrolls on both the nature and creation of such a device in a githzerai tomb that floated within the ravenous sea's of pandemonium. Tres had never conceived of the horrors of such a thing, not in his worship of knowledge via the edicts of the goddess Ioun. However, there were things that man were not meant to know and as those tiny square shaped pores gathered in the black cube, they babbled unknowable questions and unfathomable answers.

Tres shrieked. The insane cacophony scratched against his sanity like nails on a chalk board and he lost himself within the dizzying maelstrom of horror as he hung upside down within the void. Eventually the poors grew so small that all tres could see within the black cube were the squirming of monsters.

La La Ingme'eb Shkath! Fa'am Fa'am! Cthulhu N'gui! Ng-Shak'm!

Lost in the sea of blinding horrific truth the psion was forced to retreat into an endless white sanctuary within his mind, where his conscious could rest unmolested.

Even there, floating among the white void of his sub-conscious Tres felt a throbbing at the fabric of reality, that transcended mental and physical dimension.

The rhythm was distant, almost impermeable, and yet it was warm and familiar, like the rays of the sun as it rises above the tallest peak!

_______The dark face of Raid appeared through the Neg followed by a winding, sword-carrying hook of Raid's left hand headed straight for Radek's chest. Unfazed, determined, Raid struck through once without even the slightest bit of hesitation-- as if the eliminator had thrown water at him. A flurry of blows began to swoop down onto Radek before he was even able to traverse the veil, Raid's desire to end his creation filling Radek's mind as the mask got even nearer. One blow, one slash, one blow, one slash, all headed straight for Radek's sternum as his advancement continued. Regardless of whether they went through the veil or not, Malenexum was determined to get more than just one slash in. He was going to beat this man senseless for thinking himself anything grander than the Vampire Archduke of All-Meldin!

_______By the time he had crossed the burst of Neg, his muscles had decreased in size and his skin had gone back to its normal consistency. Regardless of his loss of strength, Malenexum was still impressively resilient without the boost, and would still prove to be a strong adversary. Although the clothes sizzled from the exposure to the Neg, Malenexum's body and mask were perfectly fine, tipping off the vampire's immunity to negative energy. Though Malenexum had no idea at first what this 'ball of black' was, once it had touched his skin he recognized exactly what it was and grinned behind the mask. Gloria's foot tapped the floor impatiently as she watched for Radek's answer. "That's what you're here for. To fight us and see if we're worth going to the next round of the tournament," she replied flatly.

As he continued talking, Gloria was more studying the room. Nothing had changed, except the signs of Mal's sword hitting the ground was gone. The shards of Tres's fractured crystals were gone. It was just her and... him in here right now.

And those annoying Silent Hill rejects behind the mirrors. If she ever needed a reason to never want kids, Radek was helping her out greatly.

As he disappeared, she bristled as he appeared behind her suddenly, her fists clenching. In the back of her mind, an irritating, almost warm static poked at her. She couldn't hear exactly what it was, but the weight of the ego behind it was more than clear.

"********' Tres," she muttered. Turning on her heel, ignoring the pain in her knee, Gloria brought a solid punch down for Radek's face as he stared up at her.

Glory can focus her psionic energy into a slim dagger-like blade of pink energy. It's length is about 8 inches and 2.5 inches wide at the base. The blade can cut as well as a steel blade and its cutting power is dependent on the strike that it is used against. However with a hard enough impact Gloria could punch through about a half inch of steel. She can throw it with mentally influenced aiming and can use it block as well. It can take damage and be destroyed, but can be rematerialized at the next behest. If thrown, it will always return to her hand as long as it stays within 20 feet or it will dissipate.

As it was a simple strike, one the seasoned fighter would see coming from a mile away, Gloria had to add a bit of surprise to it. As it got close enough, a pink blade of psionic energy would spring from her fist just above the knuckles. Her punch suddenly became 8 inches closer, led by a tip sharp enough to go through steel.

"Just how long do you plan on keeping me in here?!"

XXXXMalenexum was tenacious. Abaddon admired that about the whelp. However, it would be his recklessness that would one day end him. He ran at Abaddon, ran at him before he could slip away, Malenexum swung with his left at Abaddon's abdomen. All mirth left his face as he reacted, sliding to his right as he stepped into the blow. 30 charges of Neg injected into his system, and Mal's blade would find itself stopped once again by Abattoir. Though Abaddon's body had been hit, it had little effect on his movement and speed. He had trouble lifting with his shoulder, bu moving his elbow was still as easy as before. The thrumming axe clashed with The Heartless. The sound was dwarfed by Tresondros's war cry. They were both back. Now the true fun could start. Mal's following punch would be fended off by Abaddon's two arms, one slapping the inside of Mal's wrist to divert it t the side, the other snapping out with mechanized speed to clench its three fingers about Mal's forearm and squeeze until flesh and bone broke and the limb was crushed to pieces.

XXXXTresondros was walking. That gave Abaddon enough time to weave the multitude of Neg through his body. Purple flames would erupt from Abaddon's wounds. He pushed forward with Abattoir as soon as he'd gripped, or missed, Mal. The top of Abattoir was flat and dull. Abaddon was merely trying to get away from the wall now. Everything was coalescing. Anymore blows Mal could work in would be useless. He was upon Abaddon, and he was about to explode.

XXXXFlame engulfed everything but his head, his hair burning away until it was centimeters from being bald. His body shrank, Abattoir clutched to his chest as it became invisible within the monstrosity growing around him. Trunks the size of a Volkswagen Beetle rushed out, mouths and eyes and teeth becoming real once the transformation was complete. Mal would be swallowed by the commencing fire that acted as the catalyst for such a drastic transformation. If he was able to step back in time, he would see the five necks of Abaddon bobbing in the air, their heads snapping and staring at him.

XXXXAbaddon could no longer speak. He was in the room with Gloria now, leaving the parasite in control for the time being. It was better at being an animal than Radek; There were very few things that it was good for, and its carnal instinct was one. His eyes watched, though, watched to keep a leash on the worm inside of him. He had to make sure it didn't kill, or waste off of its Neg in attempting to.

XXXXAn angular head, with a mouth just as long, opened up to reveal a man-sized maw. A jibbering stump, bulbous and covered in mouths that licked the air and their lips, suddenly giggled in a chorus of male and female tones. Then Abaddon wriggled away, swiftly and with ease, the Anglehead biting the Triptych Archway and yanking the body up to Radek's original perch. Then Abattoir dropped, and its singing cut into the archway, and the blade cut into the archway, and the world turned with the wall as Radek locked the sword in place and made the walls shatter in rains of glass, recreating their world.

LEVEL CHANGES: There are now FIVE (5) Triptych Archways. there are now ZERO (0) WALLS and MIRRORS. There are now MIRROR SHARDS as weapons. The room is now EXPONENTIALLY LARGE. No end can be found, and reaching it is improbable.

XXXXThe force of the mirrors bursting caused an effect of backdraft, pulling Tres, Gloria, and Mal away from the center of the room. For Gloria, she would fall, as her knee was in no shape to hold her weight on it. Tres and Mal would have an easier go of not being knocked on their asses. Everything was reset, harder difficulty, unrested team...

XXXXA true boss battle. And now it was time for the heroes to begin again.

Gloria Wrote:

XXXXRadek laughed. "No. I was hired to cripple you all before the next round. My own personal reasons for being here are different. No matter the end of this fight, I will be the true winner." There was more truth in this statement than the arrogance she would misconstrue from it. She would learn that eventually. She didn't deserve to know. Especially not after she attempted to attack him. It was amusing to him. This was his first full hallucination with Abattoir. It was his virgin voyage into someone's mind. His head burst into dust, and his body did the same, scattering to the floor, before being caught in an invisible wind that would swirl him into a whole piece once more. He sat on the mirror wall staring up at her, which to her would be directly forward. His face was empty once more. She had asked a good question.

XXXX"That really depends. I could let you go now, but that would be boring. I can keep you here forever, if I had the time and energy. However, as you are currently the one I am going to eliminate, I'll keep you here through the next round. We'll have plenty to talk about, you and I." He laid down, sprawling his arms against the mirror. The children behind them also sat, and softly so. Their large bodies made no indication of their presence other than the sight of them. Radek frowned. "So, how do you do it? Manifest your mental energy as weapons?"

_______Once the two swords clashed Raid's left arm was repelled from the impact, but the other hand went on through with a punch of its own, which was aptly blocked by Radek's left hand. The right hand was then grabbed by Radek's own right, and as he proceeded to grip it to shred it... The Heartless came back from its parry with a vengeance. For a moment Radek's hand would grab Raid's forearm and delve into it like teeth, but unless Radek had something else up its sleeve, the Heartless came back and cut the arm whose hand clutched Raid's arm across the elbow enough to either cut it clean off or slice it halfway through. As this happened, Raid's head wound up and, within an instant, got much closer to Radek's own until a head-grueling headbutt would pierce into the eliminator's nose, just before Raid would notice the sudden increase in temperature.

_______As Malen reared his head back from the headbutt and finished his slash with his sword, a bright flash of purple flames would engulf him shortly before both of his feet were planted on the ground and his knees bent slightly. Malen burst out of the flames like a purple comet at 20mph on reverse, headed backwards. *The abrupt change in speeds when he drove himself backwards would be enough to turn off whatever fire lingered on his frame, so after a while he was simply smoking lightly at the seams as he neared Tres' side. Sizzling from the flames he had just endured, and a bit frustrated at the fact that he was unable to defeat Radek in his first round, he'd call out to Tresondros with a growl.

_______Both the vampire and psion could see from here the growing monstrosity that their Eliminator had now become. Malenexum's knees bent until he was crouching, his left hand touching the floor for a second to leave the sword there while he took his burnt goth coat off. Meanwhile the mess of heads and tentacles moved around, chomping into the air and making an amalgam of alien noises. As he undressed from the ruined clothing, Malenexum would point out his experiences to his fellow teammate, hoping to enlighten the other and redouble their efforts to end this battle once and for all on their favor. "This is no ordinary aberration. It exhumes powerful necromantic energy that even challenges my own at my full potential." Malen straightened up to stand, now shirtless, exposing his well-toned, pale, tattooed body and a deep set of gashes on his right forearm. The vampire continued talking while staring straight ahead at the beast. "Normally I would try to get rid of him on my own, but without Exhibitor by my side I can't hope to defeat him. I can't even break the rules of the tournament right now if I wanted to. This room became a dimension of its own shortly after our arrival so Exhibitor is out of my range. If he has the power to make a demi-plane like this, I have underestimated him greatly. I've only once before fought such a potent opponent, and that time I had more than my share of help to defeat him."

_______Through the mask, which would also up to a degree affect Tres with its memetic effects, Malenexum would turn to face his teammate and conclude his discourse. "This time is no different. We'll have to combine our efforts to subdue him." Both of his hands would grip his longsword, then he'd put the blade at eye-length, bend his knees a little and get ready for round 2. "I hope your mind is strong enough to pull through, Ecstuffuan, otherwise the name of ODESSA and the Sigil Resistance won't be taken seriously if we can't even win a tournament." The vampire was ready to begin their onslaught. Once Tres would stand by him, it was all a matter of both of them running towards the monster in unison and begin the fight anew; this time, joining efforts in their onslaught.

The point is, he either snuffs the flames out with the rush or uses the rush and abrupt stop to take off the coat which is burning to stop the flames from damaging him.)

Heaven or Hell - Round 2

Suddenly the world gave way and was exposed to the truth. The dusky looking fireplace scene beyond the glass was revealed to be nothing but an illusion. Tres couldn't say that he wasn't surprised after everything that had just recently happened. As the transformation begun, Tres changed his walk into a hurried run where he briefly put the agony in his left thigh aside for urgency. Tres was finally stopped when the stale air rushed to escape into the black void from the now destroyed confines. Tres dropped his center of gravity as the back draft nearly knocked him on his a**.

Once the back draft was done Tres finished his movement towards Malenexum to listen to what he had to say.

31Glory Sieg

Gloria remained silent as she watched her blade go through him with no resistance. Even as she watched him burst into dust, she was sure it was a failed swing.

"You were... 'hired'?"

Hired.

She hated that word. It was a simple word when used by people who didn't understand its relevance and power. Call girls are hired. Mercenaries are hired. Lawyers are hired. For the durations of the terms in the contract, you become someone's tool, a means to some end that you could not or would not want to do on your own. You were something to be used and discarded, and half the time getting paid less than your effort was worth.

It was rare to get a job you actually like doing, like Radek seemed to be. Which upset Gloria even more. There was an odd sensation, and suddenly Gloria found herself on her side, her knee protesting in pain that she had almost forgot about. Apparently, standing on it was too much, which was odd because she had taken worse pain and stayed standing.

"Where are we anyway?" she asked, sitting up. "This is still your room, but its not the same one I was before, was it?" She wasn't against talking; it was her usual style. But one never wanted to talk when your opponent is the one who offers it. She was aware of Tres' mind blade no longer being in the room, the shimmering green an obvious sight in the monochrome room.

"How? That's none of your concern. Typically, I would advise you to just focus on dodging it, as with any blade."

[ALL I apologize for my late post.]

[[EDITS WILL BE DARK RED, AS THEY ONLY EFFECT DUKE AND HIS COMPLAINT OF BEING "TOO HARD"]]

XXXXMalenexum was lucky. He was lucky that he was made of negative energy, or had been born of it, for if not then his mind would have been lost like Gloria's. The vamp struck out at Abaddon's arms, and the blade bit through Abaddon's arm. Metal was cut from metal by metal, and once the limb was freed from Abaddon it clamped shut like a guillotine, removing Mal's arm just as well. Both men were an arm down, except Abaddon still had two left. Flesh was pulled from bone and muscle was flayed beneath the sharp claws as they forced their way through his arm in response to its extirpation The vamp's bone would brake like chalk struck by a hammer, and the mangled cut would leave both pieces of Mal's arm topped with a cauliflower of gore..

_______When the assault began, Malenexum gripped The Heartless with all the strength his left hand could muster. His eyes narrowed behind the mask, and he glanced over to Tres before turning to look at the giant heads. A double-take to Tres revealed the psion was apparently stuck in a trance, and he could tell he wasn't aware of his surroundings. "Focus, dammit!" Malen ran towards Tresondros and jumped. They both fell across the ground as the mouth full of needles traversed through the spot where Tres had been on just a few moments ago. When that was done, Malenexum stood up and looked behind himself, then turned to the single-eyed head, then at the archway. Grunting, Malen pat Tres once or twice before running off towards the archway, not really aware of what its effects were. "Run! Follow me!"

_______He sprinted over to the archway, the beast behind him now threatening to ensnare him in a vice grip of a mess of tentacles. Malen figured if he could get the damn thing to wrap itself around one of those beams, he'd be decreasing its mobility enough to stand a slightly better chance. Of course, he didn't know he'd end up being teleported through...

"Considered?" Gloria sighed. "I considered a few things. One was how was I going to fight with a dislocated and possibly torn knee. The other was a wonder of how any of us know you're going to keep your word and let us--" she paused, looking around. "Well, let them go. It probably has no relevance to what you're referring to, but I have been thinking, just so you know."

"Hm..." she hummed in bemusement as he spoke about Noah.

"See, you're being more than a little unfair," she said after a moment, tilting her head as she avoided making a 'put yourself together' joke. "You keep me here, get offended when I try to fight you, then tell you I have to 'earn' something. But you haven't once asked anything of me to try to earn said right."

Holding up a finger in case he wanted to speak, she continued.

"Although, the whole 'I'll let you out if you help me kill your team' thing isn't my shtick."
