"Are ze blades blunted?"

"Uh... Why are you asking me?""

The reporter had instinctively withdrawn the microphone from Frank's face and back to hers. She was the kind of drop dead gorgeous that was the office eye candy, and the man she was talking to happened to be one of the most infamous perverts north of Hammerbog: Frank Martel, the Vice-Captain of Team DARE.

However, Frank was fixated on swords. Not the reporter's perfect breasts, displayed just so that the imagination ran hungry, but swords. An entire carnival ride made of swords.

"...How does zat even work?" He looked absolutely stupefied. "You Gaians... absolutely no class whatsoever. Zere are so many zings you can make ze carnival rides out of! But, what do you choose? Swords! ******** swords! Ah, I need to calm down."

With a disgusted look, Frank turned away from the carnival ride, pushed back his long, fine black hair from his ear, and took the hand-rolled cigar off and put it to his lips. A deep draw filled his lungs with the kind of sweet smoke that didn't burn, and he smiled when he exhaled a thick grey cloud that refused to dissipate, despite the frantic hand-waving from the reporter and her camera crew.

"What is- is that... is that marijuana?!" She was panicking now. "We can't have that on TV! Aren't you guys sponsored by DARE?!"

Frank smirked. "We do ze drugs, so many of zem. So very many. All. Ze. Time. And, you know why?"

The reporter had stopped waving her hands, and the microphone was shoved in Frank's face. She was transfixed. If choosing to follow around Team DARE didn't result in her getting fired, it would result in her being a superstar of Gonzo reporting.

Also, she was now stoned. Very stoned.

"So ze kids can see why zey are very, very bad!"

He took another drag, longer. The reporter's eyes were bloodshot, and half of her camera crew was filming the motionless sword-go-round.

The reporter withdrew the microphone to her lips. "...I think I love you."

Frank reached forth, and grabbed her firm breasts. He squeezed. Gently. Quietly, he said, "I know."

There was a minute of awkward silence and extreme sexual tension before Frank let go.

"NOW! Where is zis Fox, so that we may RUMBLE LIKE ZE MYTHOLOGICAL HEROES?!"

3Show me the CarFox

"Uh..."

Fox stood among the crowd the whole time, trying to figure out what [the hell] happened.

"Are you my opponent? Are you Frank?" -- said Fox, walking out of the multitude.

4Krausse Kreugar

"...Hm." Frank folded his arms and blatantly sized up Fox with one of the more comical variations on the classic French stink eye. "...Ze shoes, on your feet? Tragic."

The Frenchman looked down at his own feet for a second, then to the side, and began to vomit profusely and loudly into a trash can that hadn't been there a few seconds before.

....

Seconds dragged on into minutes of the most vile, sickening sounds that millions of HoH viewers never wanted to experience. No one quite knew what to say, or if there was anything to say, because no one was quite sure that it was real.

The voluptuous female reporter took slow, careful steps towards Frank, attempting to find the perfect angle that would maximize back patting while also minimizing the potential to be vomited on.

A stoic hand told her to wait a second.

She did.

Just when viewers were starting to consider a Heaven or Hell group therapy session, Frank stopped.

Silence.

"...Damn, dude."

Everyone looked at the trash can. Except Frank. He calmly popped a pink pill.

The trashcan backed away from Frank. "What the ******** was that?"

"Don't inquire as to ze answers zat you do not want ze entirety of."

The news crew looked immensely confused, and more than a little bit unsettled. Someone asked, "Ah, Mr. Martel... who are you talking to?"

"Ze trashcan? Eet is right zere."

"...No that's just a pile of vomit you've been talking to."

"Ah. I see." Hands on hips, Frank stared intently at the trashcan that only he saw. "...Really?"

"What ******** drugs are you on?!"

Pause.

"Ah...Well...Present to me... ze definition of 'drug'." Frank looked earnest, at least.

That was the second time no one really knew what to say to Frank.

Satisfied that the pre-fighting business was taken care of, the dark skinned Frenchman turned to Fox and flashed his finest white smile.

"Ready?!"

5Show me the CarFox

Fox kept quite, watching the whole show as it unfolded. hough he was laughing inside, laughing at the man's accent.

Krausse Kreugar Wrote:

"Ready?!"

Fox shrugged, hand and face gestures and all---

--Enough jerking around.

Fox would suddenly explode (not literally) with a thrusting, left teep (push) kick to Frank's body. The initial movement was minimal, hence explosive.

Fox aimed to shove his foot deep into Frank's midsection and send him flying into the SWORD-go-round, which should be 'goin round' by now.

(Post incoming, I apologize, reality has taken a massive s**t on me these past few days & I barely survived.)

The kick was a move valued for shock more than damage, and Frank was watching Fox's every move. Instead of attempting to dodge the flimsy snap kick, the Frenchman dug in with his hands outstretched, like a coiled cobra. He twisted his torso to deflect the blow across his ribs and into his right armpit, and then pinned the leg against his right side with his right arm, and locked it by reinforcing the hold with the left.

And then Frank started to snap, bark, and growl at Fox.

"Arrrrr, come closer so zat I may eat ye, ye scummy burgeoise despot!"

(Well clearly you did not enjoy it)

Fox balanced on his right leg, after his left got caught. In other words, he just stood there and took no action, hopping, but very slightly, on his right foot. His arms laying loose and with a little flick of the hands, he dared Frank to make the next move.

"Cam' on"

9Krausse Kreugar

The next moves were all about the timing.

After a few seconds of giving his opponent silence and a sly smirk, Frank shifted his body weight as if he planned to throw forward and knock Fox off balance; but, instead, he jerked his opponent forward... and just as the other man attempted to compensate as best as possible, Frank lunged forward hard with all hundred seventy pounds of solid weight combined with the strength of a well-trained soldier, and pushed the leg away from him, hoping to send its owner to the ground for just a moment's distraction.

Immediately after the strange Frenchman loosed his opponent, one of his hands dipped down to his belt in a motion so smooth and practiced that it seemed instinctual. He produced a black metal baseball, pressed his thumb into the center, and tossed it close, but not within arm's reach, of his opponent.

The sphere began scintillating and spewing an odorless thick green smoke that dropped the visibility to such a level that the camera crews panicked, and scrambled to get out thermal lenses. While Frank didn't have thermal lenses, the inconspicuous goggles that rested on his head weren't a punk rock fashion statement.

As soon as the smoke bomb was dropped, Frank was on the move, moving through the cloud cover as it expanded to a full ten foot by six foot range... which was just enough to walk over to the Sword-Go-Round's power switch, and flip it.

The absurdly violent parody of a Merry-Go-Round came to life like a cheap animation, and the speakers mounted on the roof blared an equally absurd parody of stereotypical carnival music so incredibly dissonant that it seemed wrong. Fantastical mythical creatures made entirely from swords danced around on poles at an uneven tempo.

Frank turned, and bolted towards the Sword-Go-Round.

Wait, what?

Fox played several scenarios in his head prior to his initial kick, and they all involved his opponent attempting to put him on the ground. Honestly, this is how it always goes. All gaians were expert hands and leg catchers, or something.

Sarcasm aside, Fox shot his left hand at Frank's face, shoving/jamming the head away and pressing it downwards, while simultaneously shifting his weight back and hopping on his right leg. Now Fox had better sight over Frank that Frank would of him, so Fox paid attention to Frank's body movement throughout the whole 'shoot' attempt.

Coincidentally, Fox walked around 170's as well, so he was comfortable

The whole moment would seem as Frank driving forward as Fox hops backwards, keeping his weight back to maintain proper balance, along with the proper alignment of his back-- That means his back/body wasn't facing straight-towards,, but outwards at 9'o clock. Also, Fox would hop off his right leg at that attempt of pushing said leg away, which would widen Fox's stance and strengthen his base. A la BJ Penn [[x]](http://api.ning.com/files/YeATg*rN2zAtM1-2-pWv**sGAlcclYt2VtPJP3AdhltjUA-7w0M-Myx*8i1VMX1YKZuORJBe2NKartigErZZNF0xzhpxOUAg/frankie1.gif)[[x]](http://cdn2.sbnation.com/fanshotimages/102106/bjpenntakedown_defense.gif)

If Frank let loose either way, Fox would hop back several feet away, knocking spectators away, and regain his posture. He watched as a green smoke would unfold and hear as the carnival music rolled.

it was a cool atmosphere aesthetics-wise

Fox took a stance, on-guard, waiting for the smoke to clear. He could only see figures run around and across him, some became clear and others were just shadowy blurs-- from spectators to camera-men alike, going around hoping to find an exit.

Fox couldn't flee, since he was obliged to fight.

"Goddamn it."

"Ah..."

The world was a red haze where objects only became identifiable by their general outlines, and people were beacons of heat- that were completely indistinguishable from one another. A panicked crowd of spectators and Fox were one in the same.

"...Should have thought of zat earlier, but ah, zere's only solutions, you know?"

Frank reached into the special compartment sewn into his leather jacket, and pulled out a vial of neon pink liquid that he quickly chugged. He breathed in deep, grinned, and spat out a river of flame that washed over everything in front of the Frenchman - which just happened to be everything within the radius of the cloud.

The flame was a tapered cone that gained a foot in diameter for every foot it traveled, and people as far as eight feet away felt the fire licking at their flesh and clothes painfully enough to slow-boil flesh into blackened strips. However, just as the fire grew more impressive in size the farther it traveled, it's damage grew more impressive the closer the victim was: those unlucky enough to be within the first few feet of the Frenchman looked more like half-melted wax dolls than human.

Fortunately, the fire was so short-lived that no one died; but, Team DARE's lawyers would be so very busy. So, so, very busy.

When Frank closed his mouth a few moments, he swallowed the remnants of the flame. The smoke cloud that hadn't been pushed away by the breath attack had dissipated. Visibility was restored, so that dozens of the moaning and screaming wounded could be seen twitching on the ground.

"Oops."

He just hoped that he'd hit Fox.

THUD

Suddenly, the carnival grounds where the two combatants fought shook lightly from the force of a mighty armored foot stomping into the ground to gain their attention. Standing at the sidelines at nearly twice the size of Ryugi cut-out he stood next to was the intimidating form of one of the Noah Foundation's infamous Judges. He was clad from head to toe in stylized, gunmetal grey armor with overlapping plates reminiscent of samurai armor, his spiked gauntlets folded under his arms as he regarded the fighters coldly.

"There has been a change," he said simply, his voice echoing from inside his armor as if there was empty space within, "Frank Martel is no longer able to fight for Team DARE. C. Fox shall fight his replacement instead."

The beeping on Frank's FIGHTER would give him the signal, allowing him to make his leave of the arena. Once he had done so, the Judge turned his head to the side opposite Fox.

"May the next challenger step forward."

With that said, the Judge would turn and make his leave, his armor plates clanking together with each step until he returned to whatever place he had been silently watching from.

-!!-

The green smoke would suddenly turn yellow, the white phosphorus that would lit up the current ambiance-- and towards him, the smoke would hollow out like a tunnel as a single stream of fire came at him.

"********!"

Fox's very first reaction would be to turn around, his back facing the danger and dropping down on one knee. He would instinctively protect his front side, hunching over and tucking his head, trying his best to avoid making contact between flesh and the fire. In which case, his top garment would take the damage.-- However, luckily for him, most of the spectators and people around took the most damage for him. Still, his shirt caught fire from an ember, which he went on to remove before it spread.

Everything was now gray, the fire and special effects finally dying down. But something would come as a surprise:

"What the hell??"

As if the whole fire-slash-smoke thingy wasn't confusing enough, now there was an intervention for whatever reason; his opponent had been changed mid-fight. A decision by the 'Judges', one that could not be argued over.

"Hey! I demand an explanation... "

Screaming, the smell of burnt flesh, and fear. These were things the former Team Captain of ODESSA appreciated. Recruited to DARE as an emergency replacement was already proving itself favorable. As he stepped onto the scene, the vampire chuckled at Fox's outburst.

"Fox, right?"

He smiled, his white-gloved hands spreading out to either side in an apologetic gesture. Despite his stance and professional attire ( with the white ensemble bordering on messianic overtones of self-importance ) something about the way he spoke made it clear he was mocking his opponent.

"I hope you aren't tired out already."

"Mm?"

Fox cocked an eyebrow, as he turned around and caught sight of his new opponent. This one, completely different from the one before-- looking somewhat of a vampire. It shows; the diversity and style that can be found in HoH. Fully turned to his opponent, Fox would reveal himself to him, shirtless and wearing a pair of gauntlets.

"That's correct."

His hands clenched into fists, ready for battle

Judge KB Wrote:

"I hope you aren't tired out already."

"Tired? ...Well, I'm insulted-"

Fox grabbed a handful of his belt, adjusting his pants up-

"Ill kick your a** out of that fancy dress."

-Then took the initiative. Fox charged at his opponent and jumped halfway, his left foot lifting off the ground, his right leg cocked forward at the knee and then kicked out back as the hips simultaneously rotated counter-clockwise (<punch mechanics, not an additional attack) sending out a right punch straight at KB's face.

"HEEEEYA!"

(mirrored)

A superman punch to open up the fight against his new opponent.

The fanged smile split his face wider.

"Goodbye, Fox."

What happened next was that KB moved to meet Fox's attack, their two forms charging at each other for a great snapshot. As Fox half-jumped and threw his punch, KB leaned his left shoulder forwards and tucked his head down defensively. His eyes remained on Fox however, even as the dark negative energy inherent to his being exploded around him in a consuming purplish haze.

Damning Dash Wrote:

KB surrounds himself in Negative Energy and shoots forwards performing a shoulder slam. This move forces KB forwards 10ft, pushing objects/opponents in his path and doing damage. This move can be stopped by characters who are equally strong or immovable objects. The shroud of Negative Energy blocks projectiles/thrown weapons for the duration of the rush. Cooldown: 4 posts.

With Fox lifted off the ground and having no way to cement himself there, KB figured the attack would send the man flying. Either that or he'd impact the mortal fighter too low and send him tumbling over his undead shoulder. That was if everything went according to plan though. There was also the life-sapping touch of the vampire to account for, with his strikes capable of literally sheering away pieces of an opponent's life force. How Fox's body reacted to the experience would prove interesting!

**Additional relevant info

Excessive Strength Wrote:

As a vampire, KB's primary attribute is sheer strength. He is many times stronger than a human being, able to lift and move ( slowly ) with up to 1000lbs in his hands. In spite of his amazing strength, his power is proportionate to his humanoid form, so there are limits to what he can do. ( He couldn't lift 1000lbs at arms length and hold it there, for example ). This physical power lends itself to his strikes as well, making him able to dent conventional metal armor with direct hits, or punch through unprotected flesh completely.

Energy Drain Wrote:

A living creature physically struck by a vampire suffers energy drain, which is the effect of negative energy on the soul. Each time a living creature is hit by the vampire a part of its soul is immediately consumed, causing numbness, and atrophy in the enemy. This ability has no effect on undead or constructs. This effect can be blocked by armor. ( but not clothing ) Blocking an attack counts as being hit but has reduced effect ( 50% ). Effect lasts 1 post. Consecutive hits to the same area cause this effect to stack up to 3 times. ( 1 tired, 2 weakness, 3 paralyzation ) after which there is a 2 post cooldown before the person can be affected again.

"Goodbye, Fox."

"Nande--!!"

What used to be a punch would end up coiling up into his chest, his left arm crossing over his right. Dat split-second reaction, all Fox would do was cross both hands/arms in front of his chest/torso an hope not to die.

"Damn!"

Reasons why: KB left the ground at an icredible speed, the top of his skull now aiming towards Fox. It would not be wise, AT ALL, to punch one's skull head on, unless you want to have an entirely shattered hand. Second, KB was coming at him like a bull. The fact that he could do this alone was supernatural.

Fox knew his limits and knew best, so he braced for impact;

"KK--GUH"!

Fox let out a grunt, as KB's shoulder rammed into Fox's guard. (This may seem illogical but for the sake of roleplay) His arms shook from the force -a tight guard, tho' a loosened body-, and Fox would be sent flying into the Carousel, going over the sword-horsies and slamming his back against the one of the glass/mirrors-- aka the center of the carousel.

-KRRRSSHH-

Fox's head took a slight whiplash, tho no contact was made, and his body bounced off and he immediately sat up to recover. Fox was one of those "peak human" fighters in HoH, so he could tough this out. Aside from being an awesome wretler/karateka/kickboxer/grappler/athlete/pornographer, etc... The list goes on.

"I hate this ******** tournament sometimes"

Honestly, he was so concerned with his opponent retaliating that he recovered almost instantly, as he frantically stood up while looking around with a scowl on his face. The machine was previously set on, so it was already in motion.

He gritted his teeth

"Hufff, hufff"

On a site note, Fox wore gauntlets. Blocking the shoulder tackle with them would mean that he wouldn't be affected by "Energy Drain", as gauntlets count as armor and not normal clothing.

Fox was so angry that he karate chopped one of the 'prop' swords off.

As the last wisps of smoky energy evaporated from his body, KB stood to proper height and regarded his opponent. The man had been sent flying into a nearby carousel but survived. Taking a moment to look at the odd sword-laden contraption the vampire afforded the mortal brief respite.

"This tournament?" He asked, gesturing with his right hand to the rest of the amusement park. "This place is built for them, the weak. This tournament is built for us. For the strong."

"NOW STOP YOUR PITIFUL WHINING AND FIGHT!"

Bringing his hand up in front of him in a fist, his fangs gnashed as he yelled at Fox, the same cruel power as before manifesting in his grip. He threw his hand forwards and out like he was tossing sand in his enemy's eye, but instead loosed three dark bolts of negative energy. The bolts arced towards the carousel leaving a pitch black streak behind them before coiling together at the last moment - the moment of impact. With a terrible crash the attack impacted one of the 'horses' of the Sword-Go-Round near Fox causing its pieces ( each a 'prop' sword ) to explode in every direction.

Magus Wrote:

KB has mastered the ability to manifest his Negative Energy in short, ranged bursts. Using Godhand KB can direct a small blast towards a target with limited tracking ability. The ability can be fired in one of two ways, either x1 shot or x3. When fired x1 the cooldown is 2 posts. When fired x3 the cooldown is 5 posts. The maximum range of the attack is 30ft.

This attack applies the Negative Energy effect on-hit and x1 does as much damage as being punched. x3 does as much damage as being shoulder-checked.

Leaving nothing to chance, KB would take off after his enemy before waiting for the dust to settle. His feet pounded the pavement to bring him ever closer to his opponent - a body literally surging with life by his perception - with every intention of delivering as much anguish as possible. While many other fighters were content to test their mettle it was obvious that KB was, for lack of a better term, bloodthirsty. Launching himself onto the carousel behind the shower of swords and other composite debris he closed the distance between the two to nearly 10ft.

Until he noticed a glaring object come off from KB, darting towards him like a missile;

Fox exclaimed, shortly after diving to his left, leaping away from the inevitable blast.

-BOOOM-

Once against everything around Fox became smoke field, with pieces of plastic and shards harmlessly showering him. KB would meet with nothing but the contents of the Carousel, as Fox was in fact "not there". He was still 'on', but not straight ahead which is where KB went at.

"-thud, thud, THUD... Fwoooomp!-"

Before the smoke cleared, or maybe as the smoke cleared, KB would be met with a pair of feet going at his face, as Fox ran (remember the carousel is on) towards KB's side and vaulted off using one of the pipes that held the horses down, delivering a Dropkick aimed up at KB's head

KB was kind of surprised, and by the time the sound of the footfalls alerted him it was too late. He made a sidelong glance towards his opponent before the feet smashed into his face and sent him stumbling back into one of the swordhorses. That kind of attack would have hurt a lesser fighter considerably, but the vampire seemed more or less unphased by the pain itself. Recovering, the vampire snarled and tore his broken glasses from his face. He threw them to the ground and stomped them underfoot, glaring at Fox with eyes that seethed with malignant intent - literally glowing red like the fires of hell.

"Those were expensive you insufferable insect!"

He would waste no more time in trying to take the man out of the preliminaries! KB pushed off from the sword-horse in a run at Fox. The run would quickly become an attempted tackle as the vampire dove at the fighter, aiming to wrap his arms around the midsection and take him to the ground.

"!!"

Fox would watch his opponent come at him, then took two small steps back with a frontal wrestling stance- arms open and legs spread wide; he would let KB get a tiny-bit more momentum.

"HMPH!!"

Both men would clash like rams, but Fox's arms hooked/cupped under KB's. In one swift movement, almost simultaneous with the tackle, Fox would drop back, dumping himself 270 degrees, like a wheel in motion, and kicked his right leg up, using the momentum to hurl/toss KB over his body and far into another horse.

Fox felt a sense of confidence rushing, the combination of energy and the sensation of success; Happiness, despite the possibility of the technique no going as planned, but all the piece were in place and it felt 'right'...

That feeling, though, would soon die down from KB's "Drain" effect. It must've happened when one half of Fox's arms made contact with KB's arms.

" Huff... Hmm"

"Hnnrgh!"

The tackle had been a modest success, but his own accrued momentum had been used against him. KB wasn't a very accomplished fighter in the technical sense - he favored sheer brutality over most tricks. Thus, Fox would find it pretty easy to misdirect his power such as he did by throwing the vampire into one of the horses.

After crashing to the ground at an awkward angle the vampire became furious. He mistook Fox's clever fighting for cowardice and found his feet with hate-fueled vigor. Not wasting any time to clean the dirt from his suit he shot towards Fox, his white coat billowing behind him. If Fox didn't get up off the ground then KB would attempt to stomp at his head with steel-shod shoes. If he did get up which seemed more likely, then KB would lead with a right-handed punch aimed at the face.

"I WILL END YOU!"

Midway through the punch ( if that was the path fate took ) the sleeve of his coat would explode from his arm in tatters. There was a flash of light ( not enough to disorient someone though ) as the effect happened, which would reveal that his glove had transformed into a black multi-piece portion of armor that went from fingertips to elbow.

Not wasting any time to clean the dirt from his suit he shot towards Fox, his white coat billowing behind him. If Fox didn't get up off the ground then KB would attempt to stomp at his head with steel-shod shoes.

.

"Fu-!"

-KLUUUUNK!-

Would be the sound of KB's foot stomping the steel plated floor

Fox had made an awkward roll himself, pushing off from his right elbow and rolling onto his right knee, therefore avoiding getting his head crushed like an orange. His right side now facing his ongoing attacker;

Judge KB Wrote:

If he did get up which seemed more likely, then KB would lead with a right-handed punch aimed at the face.

Fearing another kick or a knee might come in the way, Fox sprung up onto his feet, tumbling backwards a little. The combination of the carousel moving and the effect from earlier were not in favor of his footing.

Judge KB Wrote:

"I WILL END YOU!"

Fox would receive the punch quite harshly, bringing his arms up to guard his head. A dry punch to his gauntlets, sending Fox tumbling further back into a sword-horse. His arms spread out when his back slammed against it, in which Fox would rest on-- watching as the opponent unveiled a gauntlet of his own. That one being much more exaggerate than Fox's.

"That'll be the day, guy!" Fox was starting to feel better

-krrr--- rrrrrrrip!-

Fox would the rip out a very small sword, nearly a knife, out of the sword-horse. Clearly he didn't know what he was doing, since that was... not even a real sword. Just plastic.

Fox took said "weapon"and pointed it straight at KB, with a smirk painted on his face and he panted.

"Chhhhhhhh!"

He then lunged at KB, air jetting from between his teeth-- a straight stab, far out at KB's right side, as if it was a sure-miss. Weird.

"???"

To say that KB was confused by Fox's latest antics was a bit of an understatement. Nonetheless, he was too caught up in his offensive to pay it too much thought. From the missed stomp to the blocked punch it was just a matter of keeping up the aggression, of staying on the attack.

The vampire rushed to meet his enemy just as they had before - two powerful forces crashing together. As Fox made an apparent stab to KB's far right, the GRAPPLE CO. CEO attempted to twist his torso slightly and put his shoulder back in an apparent dodge as if he were running past the thrust. At the same time, he aimed to scoop his right hand under Fox's arm and plant his palm on the abdomen.

If successful, there would be a momentary flash of light centered on the chest followed by an explosion as KB stared past his opponent as if fixated on some unseen target.

After grabbing a hold of an enemy KB forces Negative Energy to explode in his hand, dealing explosive damage to the area held. This damage is not variable, and can be considered equal to being punched directly. Cooldown: 3 posts. ( 10ft knockback avg sized/weight person )

(Sry, I forgot to mention which hand I was lunging with> it was the left.)

The lunge/stab was just a set-up. Fox was actually expecting KB to dodge, hence the carelessly aimed stab. When the sword passed by, Fox would open his hand and drop it, soon ''chambering" said hand/arm as his hips turned counter-clockwise...

-fwwwwssshhh-

His right arm shot directly at KB's mid-section, flying straight into the plexus like a speeding bullet. Fox's legs were already in place since the lunge, and with the proper turn of his feet, knees and hips, all working at the same time like a clockwork, to deliver a thunderous punch that could barely be seen, even to the vampiric eyes of KB. The technique was flawless

However, KB still managed to sneak in his right hand onto Fox's abdomen as they met. That's when everything lit up, the punch first and the blast coming, literally, a split second later, almost simultaneously.

-----WOOOOOOOOOOOOOMP-----

Not knowing that such blast was coming was even worse. Fox was, yet again, blow 10 ft away. However, this time, he pretty much careened back on his feet, frozen in his punching stance with his head tucked in, gritting his teeth as he tried to keep ahold of himself. He would stop when the back of his right leg hit one of the horses, that happened to be one in the last row... that means Fox was nearly blow off the machine.

-koonk!-

"guh..."

Fox took a deep breath, loosening up.

The sweaty, dirty and bruised fighter began walking towards KB, keeping his balance as held on the pipes. Generally he'd be fine, but each clean touch from KB took some of him away. However, even though he would, through KB's means, physically slow down, his body and mind were tireless, and his spirit could not be broken. Such is the way of the fighter.

!!!

A hit with such power from a mere man!? The vampire didn't expect Fox to suddenly manifest such strength, or to utilize with such devastating speed. Before he could even process what was going on the fighter's fist had smashed into his torso and sent him up into the air a few inches. When he landed he reeled back into the mirrored core of the carousel with a smash of shattered glass. The only sense of satisfaction he got from the exchange was seeing Fox go flying away in return.

clack!

The two fighters had reached their destinations even before the plastic sword hit the floor.

"...!"

He was robbed of breath and couldn't speak for a short time, but the effect of being breathless was otherwise only an inconvenience. Not knowing the need to breathe in order to survive the overall effect didn't even carry the dread typical to winded mortals. This didn't stop him from dropping to a knee as he bounced off the wall though, his head dropping as he feigned agony. The 'moment of weakness' would only last a moment - his true intent became obvious within seconds.

shhnnnk~

Pushing up off the floor and onto both feet in a motion that brought him forwards, KB swept his left hand up in an underhanded throwing motion. There was a flash as the rainbow array of lights at the amusement park glimmered across the surface of the broken mirror. KB had thrown a handful of glass shards at his opponent! Several of them were mercifully short pieces only a couple of inches long, but a few were larger strangely shaped pieces that you'd expect to find from something like a broken dinner plate. All and all the deadly handful of impromptu blades was aimed at Fox's chest. He would follow behind the spray of glass to close the distance between the two in a charge readying his next attack.

" ! "

"s**t!" Fox yelled, wincing as he brought his arms up and attempted to tuck his head and hide it behind them [arms]. His back hunched and body coiled forward, abs tightened and legs clenched

It wasn't just a punch, now he had to deal with shards and pieces of broken glass flying at him. It was best to harden his body to avoid any deep penetration.

While most pieces were met with his gauntlets, which did a good job of protecting, others nicked his right elbow, licked his abdomen, slashed at his left tricep... Mostly superficial cuts.

After the hailing stopped, he would bring his head up, his eyes peeking over his knuckles.

His pupils dilated, the adrenaline rushed once more from watching his opponent come up to his face-- Fox's guard dropped, his right arm being cocked back while he left chambered- both fists clenched, revealing a grin on Fox's face as he looked straight into his opponent's eyes. They were going to go head-to-head, literally. Let the hardest, most stubborn man win.

An awesome shot when seen in slow-mo and closed-up. Unfortunately, the fight would have to be cut short...
