Did Namine seriously not know who(what) Rox was? Surely she was tossing out a pre-fight taunt to rustle Pixie-Senshi's Jimmies! Even if tentacle-lady wasn't a fan, by now she'd have seen enough footage of previous fights to-
No. Getting distracted here.
Rox's focus returned to the situation at hand. It was raining and she preparing to face her greatest challenge to date- someone with a much better hair stylist than herself. I mean, how in the hell was she rocking that do in this weather without any sort of cover? Technically, Rox was also doing the same, but~damn! The stream-star's hair was going to end up a definite casualty of this encounter.
Again, distracted! Introductions-
Her experience wasn't great. And if her past fights have taught her anything, it's that long-winded people tended to get punched in the mouth mid-sentence. So, she decided to keep the formalities short.
"I'm Rox."
Sweet.
"What's your sign?"
And PUN-TASTIC!
“Mine's "YIELD!'"
Rox made a sudden movement forward, thrusting the flat end of the yellow triangle towards her opponent's face. Spear-fighting was her jam, and her motions revealed as much. She'd be no closer than the 6' reach needed to deliver her two-handed attack.
Basically, Rox was wielding a 6' pole with a 36" X 36" X 36" aluminum triangle on it. Also, there was a small chuck of concrete still anchoring the end of the “spear”. The thing was poorly balanced, objectively NOT POINTY, and generally terrible to use in the manner she had chosen, but Rox was just going to roll with it.
