Her body lifted, tucking her head down and body folding over her opponent's slightly, all to avoid the exposed beams on the low ceilings. Her left hand grasped at the jacket in a desperate attempt to claw into him, while her right had grasped tightly at the baton as it transformed back into the teardrop earring.

Then the descent began and the rush of air caused Kitsune's heart to jump in her chest. The moment her back connected with the floor, the pain just flew through her. Her spine was going to be a painted beautiful deep purples and blues once this fight was over. The floor boards below the two gave way, sending them down to the the ships hull. Barrels and crates helping to break the fall.

There a small bit of clarity as the aura Adrinai had cast informed her that the jolly green giant above was falling above them. As quickly as she could, Madison grasped Anson and rolled their bodies to the side, with the shout of, ROLL! The hope was that he wouldn't fight it too much as her teammate fell into the spot they had just been. Once out of the way, after Loppa had landed, Madison would pull her knees up between the two and kick back, aiming to toss her opponent back into her brute of a teammate.

Amidst the carnage, Rox's thoughts were crystal. A daring advance coupled with a flutter of her “wings” rewarded a brief change of scenery and the advantage! As an added bonus, the right side of her body received a nice coating of- was it grog? Whatever it was, the stuff had a fragrance even she couldn't market!

Still, she had Ryke pinned between a Rox and a hard place. All that remained was to press the advantage by smashing through the floor in a mech suitomg what is happening out there?

Images of mechs, greenskins, Awoos, and a crate of hardtack flashed through her mind. At first she thought someone was throwing dank memes up on her visor. Something that shouldn't happen because her own stream feed was currently minimized

She stepped back, granting Ryke her reprieve. That blow hurt way more than it should have and even caused her to drop the now broken mop-shaft to the floor. Pixie-Senshi had been caught off guard. If Mr. Jowaine was watching, she was certain he'd be frowning hard with disapproval. But you know what? Rox did not care.

There was a dude smashing through the floors in a mech suit outside and she wanted a piece of that action! But first...

”Sins of an Angel” Wrote:

> ”Listen pixie stix, I appreciate you wanting to take me to dinner but maybe we should just be friends!”

“</3.” Rox said in over-exaggerated disappointment.

Words destined to launch a thousand Ryke X Rox fanfics.

They also caused Rox to launch herself onto the table, albeit while turning her back towards Ryke. Both actions were most perplexing to the audience, until out of nowhere her phone appeared in her right-hand. The momentum from her leap caused Rox to slide down the table ever so closer to The Gingernator. All the while, she positioned the camera just enough to get them both into frame.

“I STILL THINK YOU'RE AWESOME!”

show spoilerhide spoilerSmile!

Rox summons her phone and snaps a quick selfie. If someone is within 1 m of her and looking in the phone’s direction, they will see a blinding flash. The effect lasts only 3-4 seconds, long enough to give Rox some initiative. This effect can be negated by either protective eyewear, or the potential target actually posing for the picture.

-Flash-

The picture (Rox laying across the table in the “Sexy Junkrat Pose” with Ryke possibly in some state of anger/awe/confusion about to hit her with something from behind) would later be tagged:

“JUST GOT FRIENDZONED BY ZANDRA RYKE! XDDDDDDDDD” #ManyFishInTheSea #BetterLuckNextTime #HOH2018 #MOUNTAINVSALLDEE

Now, if her “attack” worked, Rox's phone would burst into a small shower of sparkles as she “desummoned” it in her clenched fist. Then, she'd reposition her body so she'd be on her back with her feet towards Ryke. Prime position to deliver twin boots to the gut to the ideally dazed woman. Well, it was actually more of a shove, as her objective was to push the mechanic away from her and into the wall.

Chairs, small crates and whatever the hell else ended up on the floor during their dynamic entry were likely to impede Ryke's movement, but whatever. Rox just wanted to buy some time so she could GTFO.

The final phase of her plan involved scrambling off the table and bolting for the door while shouting:

It had probably been less than a full minute since this throwdown had started and already the map of the boat was being redrawn to look less like a nautical vessel and more like a game of chutes and ladders.

The floor cracked under the weight of both of them coming down onto the bottom deck and who knew what sort of mess they might land in... though with a tremendous crash it became much more clear what sort of mess might be landing on them.

"Oh sweet mercy--" was the only thing he could shout over the tremendous crash of a green meteor coming down into the cargo hold right on top of where they had been. Luckily, Madison had decided to take him along for the ride as she flipped the both of them across the floor to avoid being turned into a fine flesh-colored paste. It would have been a fine show of comradery between opponents if not for the fact that that she immediately threw him back the other direction with a hard shove of her knees; tempting that tiger on the back of his jacket to go give the orc a kiss.

Of course, since the dust hadn't even cleared yet Anson didn't even know what he'd just been thrown into; he just knew that it was large, lumpy, and about as sturdy as really ugly tree. The bigger problem, as he saw it, was that this tree wasn't sitting still... and so as the rest of the splintered boards settled and the sunlight poured in from two decks above, Anson found himself sitting on Santa's lap.

Funny thing about whips. They're made of leather, so not tough to cut. However, it was still a whip, which meant braided leather and much like Aesop's bundle of sticks, was much tougher to break so it was going to take more than a single awkward hack to actually break the whip's grasp on him.

Which gave her perhaps only a second or so to think....

Don't ever give a redhead (well, strawberry blond) time to think.

The first part required no thought and was already zooming along as Adrinai fell the short distance on his backside. A flame of 900'F streaming down the length of the whip towards Adrinai like a forest on fire, but leaving the enchanted leather without harm.

Attached at right hip it is a single braided bullwhip, the handle is 8 inches long, allowing for a more finite control of the fall of the thong. The thong has two bellies; both braided, which make for a sturdier and stronger body, able to take more damage. The thong is bound into the body of the handle, making it nigh on impossible for someone to humanly remove the thong from the handle. The length of the thong is 10ft. The fall of course, extends the actual length by an additional 2 feet. Enchantments are sensitive only to Cel’s use.

Wrath - [Cost: 1] Celeste channels her angelic flame down the length of the whip, lighting it up instantly. The flame remains strong for 2 turns- the post it is used and the one after, petering out at the beginning of the one following unless the cost is paid again to renew for another 2. Anything but her touching the whip or the flames wrapping it suffers burns as from Devotion, approximated to low forging temperatures and not causing flames to spread. Things demonic in origin take twice the burn damage.

But even if Adrinai were to continue to rush her after the flames, she was prepared for him, and took a step back, using the railing of the ship as a brace, thankful it was a replica and not a old ship as the sea was not likely to stay calm. "It's like dancing on water with you," She smiled jumped up sideways almost if she was about to hop over the railing but instead split her legs into a cartwheel, opening a portal from the tip of her toe to the other in a full split before landing perfectly, the portal still open,

Celeste parts one of the gates she guards, creating a portal to another realm. The portals she can access in a combat situation are limited to those spaces she is most familiar with, and controlled by gesture. With a single hand miming a circle growing she might create a gate as large as 6" in diameter, whereas with both hands she might create one her full arm span in width. The gates must be opened within a few inches of her hand, and can be closed with a simple swiping or closing motion of a single hand, or remain open for as long as she is within 5' to maintain them, a portal costing 1 energy the post it is opened and 1 for each additional post it is not closed by the end of. She cannot open portals over top a person, but may open one to catch an incoming blow or below a falling person, if she has the free hands to devote to it. Sudden release will cause the living object to be projected outward away from the plane.

-Plane of Water Dragging as if with some physical effort, she may open portals to the depths of the plane of water, where an endless supply of icy, pressurized liquid bursts forth from its infinite sea. A one-hand sized portal might hit someone with a blast firm enough to cause wincing, or blind and disorient them momentarily if caught to the face at close range, where as a full size portal at close range might bowl a man over- besides causing water to flood into the arena as long as it remains open. Were someone to go inside of one of these portals they would need to be able to hold their breath indefinitely- but given the pressurized water no one is ever going to end up inside one without a concerted effort to do so, as even one falling toward it would be blasted aside by the waves rather than allowed to fall within.

As Adrinai was falling over after the whip wrapped around his shins, he saw something that made his blood run cold: flames, scorching their way up the whip toward him. His initial thought was to simply bring his buckler blade to bear on the whip. He thought that he could cut it in one strike, but now that there was a significant element of added urgency, he wasn't about to be immolated by misjudging the tensile strength of braided leather. Desperate times call for Divine measures.

Adrinai activated his Seal of Divine Might and felt incredible strength course though his body. He knew the strength was fleeting, only lasting two seconds, so he acted quickly. He pulled his legs in with enough force to drag a car off its wheels. If Celeste insisted on holding onto her end of the whip, she was going for a ride. Seeing the flames getting perilously close to his end of the whip, he pressed the button that shifted the Living Metal on the edge of his buckler into a blade and brought it down with all of his Light-enhanced strength on the whip near his feet.

The strength he'd brought to bare, borne of panic, was entirely more than was necessary. It would've been enough to sheer steel. He not only tore through the whip, he annihilated the wood of the ship beneath, sending the two planks that his blade had made direct contact with down into the hold in an explosion of splinters. There was a visible ripple as the impact created a shockwave that flowed through the wood around the impact site. Knowing that he was almost out of time on his Seal, he slammed his kite shield into the ground, pushing himself briefly airborne in his haste to get to his feet. He landed and raised his eyes to meet Celeste's.

"Well, that wasn't very-"

The planks that he was standing on chose that moment to give way, collateral damage from his powerful strike, and he dropped into the lower deck in absolute silence, too shocked to even issue a panicked shout.

From below, his voice called up "I'm okay!"

Half a plank, which had still been hanging on by a single nail, finally broke free and dropped into the hole.

"Ouch!"

The other players in the game were quickly getting fired up and the tiny mess hall cabin was shaking with the commotion going on outside. At some point in their wrestling around, Ryke swore she saw a flash of dark green followed by the shine of metal vaguely in the shape of her teammate in his powered armor suit. The resounding crashes and distinctly recognizable clanks, along with creaking and snapping wood didn’t sound very healthy - for the ship - but y'know, she trusted they knew what they were doing.

Hopefully.

Anyway she had Rox to worry about more than how many holes her teammates and their opponents were putting in the hull of the ship. Just meant that she had to get super serious and deal with pixie-stix before the boat started sinking into Latent Harbor.

When the dinner plate made a connection with her opponent's head in the most satisfying of sounds, she all but cackled over such a minor win. Rox had plans? Well Ryke had plans too! Which is why she had chosen to take temporary “refuge” behind a wooden dining chair, an action granted to her by Rox getting momentarily stunned via plate. She was fine letting the woman scramble up onto the table, that just meant she had the chance to-

FLASH

”Wha - ********] Ryke’s colorful string of profanity tumbled out of her mouth when the flash flickered. She hadn’t seen the pixie-woman come sliding back down the table until it was nearly too late. She fumbled with her goggles on top of her head, trying to minimize some of the effect of the stupid flash. Her actions weren’t quite quick enough so she didn’t completely get off scot-free. There were stars in her eyes, I mean besides Rox, who was coming back for more it seemed.

OOF

Ryke nearly doubled over when the woman’s boots tried to play pattycake with her stomach. That was going to bruise but fortunately the plating in her jacket absorbed some of the shock which would have hurt more considering her position. She stumbled a bit, nearly tripping over boxes of kitchen supplies and chairs but righted herself quickly. Though half-dazed, she wasn’t totally helpless. Ryke had taken up a defensive cover behind the chair for a reason and that reason became all too apparent as she half-blindly lifted it up and hucked it at her opponent who was attempting to flee. The little wooden chair couldn’t have weighed more than 15 pounds, so lifting it wouldn’t be much of a hassle. It’s the trajectory that was a little hazy. Didn’t make a difference whether it full-on connected WWE style or not, Ryke wasn’t about to let Rox get away so easily and climbed up onto the table herself after relinquishing the chair to it's fate. She was hoping to catch the pixie-winged woman either by a fleeting leg or some other part of her. Anything to get a decent grip and keep her from running off.

”Hey now, it’s rude to just dine and dash! Get back here!”

Of course with the two of them crawling around on the already rickety table, in a cramped space with weak floorboards, how long would it be before the whole thing collapsed under them? It didn’t help that the storm was starting to roll in and water from any rains would come pelting through the destroyed door to make matters worse.

Whatever the case would be, either she would need to go below decks, or he would need to come above. Seeing where Loppa was or rather was not, she had no real interest in going down. Grapping some spare rope that every boat of this time had, making sure of course that it wouldn't affect the sails, she knotted it into a lasso and dropped it down the hole (Rope go down the h-ooole) while tieing it to the wooden beams at the inside of the far deck.

As much as this could be called a plan, his emergency response seemed to be going in order, no orc barrelling down on his tail as he made his exi-

He just saw a burst of white, and the world spun for a moment- he figured out that was less dizziness than having his balance, and thus control of trajectory, wrecked about the time he floundered off course and rolled across the deck, grasping his head and gathering his limbs under him to rise quickly- either the orc was smarter than he looked, and sounded, to an absurd degree, or he had lightning quick reactions and some kind of extra oddball senses or magic frills to him. Either way, after that he half expected the thing to be on him- not gone. Stumbling to his feet in the increasingly unstead ship, his heat filter flicked on, giving him a quick feed on the otherwise stormy and empty ship of two bodies across deck, Cel up near him, elf quickly exiting the proximity of-also-near-him, and a large mass of heat down below. The filter flickered in his once-ver, but he didn’t need details, just that quick and dirty.

In any case, if the big guy had reach and that much strength, he was going a pain to deal with, coming in thematically under-armed. Which left risky and up close, or creative and…

Rayner moved to grab one of the knotted sets of ropes rigged for climbing to the masts and crows nests, sweeping the cutlass out and back into its sheath, clearing their lower moorings and twisted and bundled it enough to simply rip its connection to the nest above free, along with a hunk of the wood, grabbing the lidless crate Ryke had borrowed from earlier on his way straight back to the hole, lidless but only missing a few bottles of the original contraband.

No time to waste- he booked it straight back to that hole, flicking the mass of rope to let it sprawl open as he threw it down toward Loppa, Anson, and Madison. His wife was fishing something out, but he was wanting to get ahead of the problem here- his eyes were down below, wondering as the ropes fell what his missing teammate was doing in the middle of that mess.

“KID!”

He shouted the warning, slinging the crate down hard through the hole- as much as the gap allowed, bottled contents flying everywhere to chatter and splatter everything in cheap, powerful swill, crate falling toward Loppa as he plucked a grenade off his belt in one hand, and lighter with the other-

If he still had a target by that point, the lighter was going down on the mess of broken boards, alcohol, and hemp, piled on top each other like an arsonist’s wet dream. And if Anson gave him a clear shot, he’d pitch the grenade down- beaming straight at the kid’s mouth, pin still in.

Striker!

(and moving myself to the back of the turn order for this new **** afterward)

Adrinai was still getting his bearings after having fallen into the lower deck when things began raining down through a hole nearby. Without anyone outdoors on the main deck, his Coordination Aura wasn't helping him to pinpoint his opponents up there anymore, although he thought he had briefly seen Rayner pop back up to the surface even as Adrinai had been dropping down below, so it was probably safe to assume that the rain of debris was Rayner's doing.

That's not random debris, is it?

First, it had been a ship's netting. Then, a crate. He couldn't see the contents, but his Elven ears detected the sounds of clanking, liquid-filled bottles on the crate's rapid downward trip. Adrinai got a strong sense of foreboding, knowing from his Coordination Aura that two of his allies were in the vicinity of the netting and booze that had just dropped down, and so, still a little off-kilter from the fall and subsequent smack to the head with a falling plank of wood, Adrinai struggled to his feet and began crouch-running toward the hole, cursing the low ceilings. He felt sorry that he was going to have to make Celeste wait, since he was dimly aware of her trying to help him back to the upper deck, but his team came first and duty called.

And then he saw it.

Oh no you don't!

Adrinai couldn't possibly get to the lighter in time to prevent it from dropping down and setting his teammates alight... as well as a member of the opposing team? Could that be right? His Aura told him it was. Rayner seemed genuinely prepared to turn an area that an ally was in into an inferno. Either this other opponent was fireproof and Rayner knew it, or Adrinai was going to have to lower his estimation of the man. Regardless, there was no way that he was going to allow Rayner to burn them all, and he wasn't going to let a little thing like physical distance stop him! He was a Paladin, and defending others was his calling!

He activated his Seal of Farshield and swept his buckler up. It was the less heavy of his two shields and therefore could move the fastest, and the lighter was already on the verge of winking out of sight. A ghostly image of his buckler appeared in the lighter's way and smacked it back up and out of the hole to clatter across the lower deck on the opposite side of the hole from Adrinai. He was going to have to do something about that to keep it from starting a fire here, but without an accelerant, it would still take a moment to heat the wood up sufficiently on its own.

Adrinai had still been moving toward the hole during his ranged deflection, and Rayner would have seen his lighter fail to make it down to the hold. If he still chose to try to throw the grenade even after failing to get the previous object in, Adrinai would come flying across the hole, catching the grenade in midair, pulling the pin, and tossing it back up the hole and high into the air before the Paladin landed in a backwards roll on the other side. If Rayner didn't throw the grenade, Adrinai would still dive across the hole in order to turn the lighter off on the other side before it could turn the ship into a bonfire.

"We're going to have a chat about the honor of your actions after this fight, sir!", Adrinai called up to him as he got to his feet and prepared to defend himself or his allies further.

A seal appears on the front of the paladin's shield and persists for one post. A ghostly image of the shield appears at a point of the paladin's choosing within 30 feet, and moves as his shield moves while deflecting attacks as his shield would. His shield can block anything that he would be able to block if he was at the Farshield’s location, including preventing an opponent from moving through the shield’s location, but Adrinai also experiences the recoil of anything that he blocks as if it had struck his physical shield, meaning that attempting to use Farshield to block a charging opponent can potentially cause Adrinai himself to be knocked over. Although he had been unable to see the full outcome from his second blow in their now interrupted engagement, the initial unraveling of events set into motion by his gullet and STIKK had been quite promising. Sadly, with his weight playing foul with the weakened ship's deck, Loppa's own physiology had killed that built up momentum quite thoroughly. It wasn't all bad though. Loppa's yellow and red eyes flicked about the hold. This place was damper, and darker - save for the shaft of light he occupied. Dust from the freshly splintered wood tried to settle in earnest, as dust was want to do. And that was when Loppa noticed a pair of eyes looking back at him. They (Madison) were hard set and seemed to be frustrated at the Black Orc for not doing something. What that they expected of him was unknown to the giant green monster, and just as he was about to stand up and put them in their place with a physical and verbal retort... he realized he couldn't.

Well, not that he couldn't so much as he didn't. An unexpected trifle of a burden had been foisted into his lap at some point between him hitting the ground and now. Loppa, being far larger than his charge, stared down at yet another 'umie (Just how many were there on this ship?), and felt his open mouth hesitate as it failed it grapple the words fumbling from the Orc's brain. Honestly, forming a sentence at his point had proven to be the most difficult part of this entire fight. Luckily for him, the 'umie in his lap found some of his own for the two of them. "...so... are you one of mine?" said the secretive 'umie. Loppa noticed he had swathed his face in the same fashion as some Night Gobbos did to avoid sucking up too much of the foul sludge that came from their various poisons. Either way, even if this lad had been a Gobbo, Loppa wasn't one of his. He was an Orc, a Black Orc, and dis 'umie wuz uh 'umie, worse than a Gobbo but not by much. Loppa's carnal features were made all the less friendly as his brow met in the center, and the split in his face that passed for lips turned down into a frown. With the smallish man in his lap, the Black Orc grabbed for da 'umie's back wif his Klaw, the outfit was branded with, what Loppa assumed, was the colors of his house. A great cat upon a field of... ********' whatever that color was. Loppa began to stand once and was going to set him right off as his deep, horrid voice and putrid breath started to lecture,

"Doze I'ze look lyke uh runty 'umie ta yew, ya puny git? Now 'eave off uh me, or'z elswize- Wot."

With the utterance of that 'Wot', Loppa had shifted his massive head upwards only to be greeted by more falling s**t. Someone above had seen fit to treat the hole his falling body had made as a slagheap already. The "net" fell down on top of Loppa, and potentially da 'umie if he hadn't been able to slip away. Then the crate filled with bottle of alcohol joined him. Cracking open on Loppa's head like an egg, forcing him to emit an oof and pinch his eyes shut. Luckily for him, his hat had already been lost in the fall, so there stood little change of it being ruined by the drink, but his outfit was another matter. Loppa growled, eyes still shut. For the first time since this fight had started, the Black Orc felt genuine rage and not just mere annoyance. The damp netting reminded him of swamp moss, or sea weed, and it smelled not altogether different. Planks and glass stuck to the netting, and in turn stuck to Loppa. His upper body flexed, not to show off but to act as a focus for his anger as his growling became louder and more bestial.

The Black Orc's eyes opened, they were even more bloodshot against the yellowed sclera than usual and his ruby irises had turned to pin pricks of violence. Da BIG STIKK whined from Loppa's strain, the amputated and defaced Treeman digit began to shift about in his great, big bear paw of a hand as it took on some new form. He pulled his arms in, one across the other, and slouched down for a moment more. Before flinging up and out with his arms and body. The horrible Klaw and the misshaped STIKK slashing at the netting around him. If da 'umie hadn't gotten away from Loppa before, he had to have by now.

"DOZE N'E UV U'ZE GITS 'AVE N'E EYE'DEER 'OW 'ARD IT IS TO GET DA SMELL UV STUNTY PISS OFFA DIS OUTFIT!?"

He walked forward, out of the light, and towards whatever direction da 'umie had gone, if'n he had not tried to scramble up and out of the way immediately to escape Loppa's misplaced rage.

Rox asked.

Her Stream answered. Sorry little Sera.

Still, reaching such a conclusion took time, time during which Rox had to deal with Rowdy Ryke. Up until this point, Rox had been fighting border-line under the influence. Not on narcotics or anything because dammit kids, drugs are not cool! She was on an emotional high. The magnitude of the entire situation had her overwhelmed! Over a decade ago, babi-Rox spent hours glued to her television watching her idols perform spectacular feats (and fails) of martial skill during Heaven Or Hell season. Now she was here, doing the same for some other wide-eyed babi. She never believed such a thing could happen to her. She STILL didn't. Yet here she was, mixing it up with Zandra on a rickety as hell pirate ship before a crowd of millions!

A single chair to the back power-bombed her down to reality. Funny how projectile-furniture tended to do that.

What hit me, was that a chair!?

The sharp pain shooting through her body had already answered that question. Rox froze, the reason being a 50/50 split between pain and surprise.

”Sins of an Angel” Wrote:

> “Hey now, it’s rude to just dine and dash! Get back here!”

Oh it was on.

The chair flipping off her and onto the floor was the gunblast that set off the next sequence of events.

Ryke climbed onto the table and grabbed hold of Rox's right-leg just as she had planned to roll off the end. Instinctively, she grabbed the closest thing within reach, which happened to be an over-turned glass bottle (empty, unfortunately) and rolled her body clockwise so that she was on her back and facing the feisty red-head.

>=|

Ryke now had a choice. She could let go of Rox's leg and move, or don't. There might be a mystery third option out there that Rox neither considered or cared about, but her next actions happened immediately after her “roll”.

From her left hand, she'd toss the bottle towards Ryke's face at a speed someone her size shouldn't be capable of (MLB Baseball pitch). With her right leg, she'd flex her knee and hip

(as if she were trying to go into a fetal position with only one leg), attempting to pull free.

Around the moment when fate determined the outcome of her attack, the results of the Weapons Poll kicked in.

The Pixie-Hands are sparring gloves that exist for the sole purpose of letting Rox's opponents know that she plans to give them “The Hands”. They provide some protection to her hands as she punches, but her Battle Aura does that anyway.

Oh, and each successful strike leaves just enough “pixie-dust” residue to be annoying. So yeah, glitter fists!

Battle Senshi's standard gloves were seemingly texture-swapped. First with a neon pink wire-frame, then with a pair of similarly colored sparring gloves. Stream Fam had made clear their desire, and Rox had every intention to not disappoint. If she managed to "free" herself and get off the table, she would not abandon Mess-Hall san and Ryke. Not anymore.

Mess Hall-san was not long for this world.

"...so... are you one of mine?"

The small 'oomie asked the question to the big, gruff ork with a hopeful inflection in his voice. After all, it would be grand (for more than one reason) if the enormous thing he found himself on was the last member of Mountain that Anson had been looking for.

It was clear now that the ork was not on Anson's team, much to Anson's disappointment. After all, there are so many advantages to having a team member that can pick you up with a large, mechanical claw and lift you high into the air. To demonstrate, that was exactly what Loppa did, completely shredding the tiger-themed jacket that Madison had already clawed up the back of during their previous tumble in the splintered wood.

"Now 'eave off uh me, or'z elswize- Wot."

With a sudden Snort of surprise something large fell on top of Loppa from above, and just at that moment with triumphant Tear and a Plop the small 'oomie's jacket tore apart and he fell right onto the floor in front of a confused ork just as alcohol and shards of glass started to rain down around them.

Little Anson, as he sat on the floor feeling the bootlegged hooch begin soaking into his jeans from the puddle dripping off of the ork, decided that perhaps it was time to take a few steps back. And so, he calmly but swiftly stood up, took a few steps back away from what was likely the little brother of the ship's main mast being swung around in a confined space, and came to the sudden realization that they were below the water line and this ship now had more holes than sails.

Expecting that half-tree to cause their vintage vessel to spring a leak any moment, he took this moment of communal bewilderment to prepare himself for that eventuality; shifting the focus of his internal energies to more closely match that of the water all around them and taking on the aspect of the Soul of the Sauna.

He was so focused on the greenblackskin in front of him that he didn't even notice that his cautious backsteps were bringing him back towards where Madison had fallen.

Because he was seated in the first 6 rows. And he was going to get wet.

The Jolly Green Giant had been angered. His rage could be felt through out the hull as he yelled for da 'umie. There was no knowing what he might do to anyone, teammate or not, that got in his way.... So, when Madison realized her good ol' opponent started backing up towards her, she could only think that she may not want to be in the exact place she was currently hunkered down in.

Crawling further back into the darkness of the hull, Madison hid herself between crates and barrels waiting for a decent time to circle around the angry orc and attempt to crawl back up to the "safety" of the upper decks.

AND THE CROWD GOES WILD -

as the chair splintered into dozens of pieces after making contact with the fleeing Rox just as Ryke had hoped it would. She had successfully grabbed hold of her opponent’s right leg, just in time before she somersaulted practically right off the table in order to get the hell out of dodge. I mean, not that she blamed her. The engineer’s blood was pumping now, and she was visibly excited, if her actions (throwing chairs and dinner plates) and loud shouting weren’t obvious enough.

Outside the mess hall, a storm had quickly rolled in and starting its own battle of sorts against the noticeably battered ship. Gusts of wind were enough to add a little bit of a sway to the vessel and rain pelted the deck and was swept in through the broken door, only making everything appropriately wet and extra slippery. So, lucky for Rox, it meant that Ryke’s hold on her leg wouldn’t last. Not especially after lobbying an empty glass right at her like a Major League professional.

It happened with such a speed that the redhead had only a split second to react.

SMASH

Honestly, all she could do was turn her head so it crashed into the side of her face rather than hit her straight on. The broken bits of glass cut across her cheek and along her jaw bringing with it abrupt and biting pain. She hissed through her teeth but tried to hold fast to her opponent but Rox had started to twist her body, making it harder to maintain a good grip.

Ryke looked back at her opponent with a distinctly wild grin.

”Alright. Time to go for a ride!” She exclaimed and pushed off in order to slide down the back end of the table, taking dishes, glasses and an assortment of place settings with her. She dug her heels into the floorboards, and put her hands against the table end, and with a combined effort of her weight against it and a little boost from the jets to propel her forward, Ryke gave the table a good hard SHOVE to push it right through the rickety wall of the dining hold, with Rox on top. Hope she knew how to hold on tight!

The floorboards beneath them weren’t looking to hold out much longer either and who knows what would happen if that wall was taken out!

show spoilerhide spoilerBlast Goggles - A pretty resilient pair of goggles that serve her well inside the garage as well as out. They fit over and across the eyes and provide protection from the elements, such as wind, dust and debris. The polycarbonate lenses are strong, shatter-proof, fog reducing and provide 99.9% UVA/B/C protection.

Greaves: Originally a B-V R&D design, Ryke collaborated with Rayner to adapt these greaves that were created for his use, to a set of her personal work boots. The greaves include plate armor protection over the full shin and back of the leg, ending in rugged calf-high leather boots with composite steel plate mid-soles to prevent puncture from below, along with a steel reinforced toe and heel. The reinforcements not only protect the foot, but also give a little more force for kicks. The original special feature - small angled jets built into the side of the calf near the back of the leg, and the heel - were kept in the adaptation. The heat of the jets themselves dissipates within six inches making them a poor weapon in most situations (though those within those six inches may expect serious burns) and terribly balanced for flight- but perfect for increasing jumping heights by up to double, a quick boost off a flat surface or turn in air, and empowering strikes with the knee or shin.
