He let the fingers of his right hand rest against the side of her face, simply enjoying the contact. This close to one another, he could feel the beat of heart just from the slightest touch- his own matching hers after a few moments. Her scent was a reassuring wave of bliss that intoxicated him beyond belief, causing any lingering stress from the altercation to pass. His blood was calmed, a feeling of sitting by the warmth of a campfire invading his senses.
The synchronicity between the two was palpable, as their heartbeats thrummed in unison, so too did the rise and fall of her chest, fall in time with Vahn's breath. It was in these quiet moments where no action was being taken, that they truly meshed like one seamless extension of one another. The same feeling of warmth spread through Sierra's body, lighting up her face with a contented smile. It was the sort of peace that there was no descriptor for, but she imagined whoever coined the phrase'Home is where the heart is' must have felt something akin to this.
"Mmmm."
The acknowledgement was soft and breathy as she soaked in this feeling. It was still surreal to her, that after all the years of struggle and heartbreak, obstacles and world ending events that somehow they had made it through and were finally here together. It filled her being with a boundless joy, the likes of which she had never thought to experience in her lifetime. Pressing her cheek into the rough, battle worn hand pressed against her cheek, she turned her face slightly to kiss the palm.
Her arms tightening around him for a moment as she glided steadily toward the hotel's roof.

> Looking at the two of them, one would be forgiven to think that so much emotion could not hang heavy in the air, but there it was all the same. Their journey to be together had never been a simple one, to begin with, but the end result was a union that shook the very heavens and was responsible for the downfall of old gods and fate itself. > > > > The view was unobstructed from this height- and the Crimson Hawk prided itself on having always stood out in the city. For these two it was a perfect way to watch the sun start to set- even as she provided enough lift to get them to the top of the hotel's roof. He touched down first, his left hand holding onto her wrist as she cupped his own chin in both her hands, still hovering slightly above him. "...I hate being away from you. As suffocating as I can be, ya know?" He had that lopsided grin on his face again as he spoke, that single yellowed eye never straying from her. The Murmillion brushed a thumb absently against her wrist, enjoying the feel of her supple flesh, knowing full well that despite its softness, she was no fragile thing.
That small simple touch sent fire through her veins and drew a gasp from her throat. She studied his face, taking in every detail as if it were the first time she'd seen him, recommitting them memory and heart, her gaze resting at his lips quirked into that devilish lopsided smile that gave a glimpse into the man beneath the cocky exterior. The one who was sometimes insecure, and had hidden hurts and frailties that he kept hidden from the world. The one who was full of swagger and boasting, but still occasionally got shy or caught of guard by the woman before him--
"It is a mutual hate my love, I don't like being apart from you either. Besides, you've never been suffocating-- if anything it always seemed the other way around..."
--His smile was the smile of a man who had made mistakes along the way, but was constantly just trying to do his best. It, like the man before her, was a perfectly imperfect smile, and it had taken hold of her heart all those years ago, and after all this time, hadn't lost any of it's charm of affect on her. She bit her lip in anticipation~

> The sounds of Latent seemed to tune out into the background as he reached up with both hands now and aimed to bring her low enough to the ground so he could press his lips against hers, unable to resist any longer. That contact would be near electric, like the spark in an engine and swell throughout his entire body. Their connection through the Soul Bond seemed to only amplify both the physical and mental sensations, flooding him with a warmth that would all too familiar to him from his lower waist. > > > > She drove him to the brink simply by being and he could never get enough. > > > > *...these feelings...**...as clear as they are...can't be misunderstood.*
Her eyes locked with his, they would seem to be a shade or two brighter with the raw emotion pouring between the pair and her gaze hazy with intoxication, before fluttering closed and giving way to the kiss. As he drew her into him, she let him bring her down to the cement of the roof, her feet touching silently as she furled her wings neatly at her back. Warping her arms around his neck, her mouth retuned his lips eagerness with equal enthusiasm, the tip of her tongue flicking out as an invitation to deepen the kiss further, as she wrapped one hand in thick black of his hair. The air around them rose in temperature as the heat lept between them.
She had waited so long for this, and it had been worth everything...
