He raised an eyebrow at the comment. "I'm expensive," he teased back but nodded. No need to tell her she'd get a family discount. What else was family for but to help one out. He glanced around the room, the food would satisfy his physical hunger, but he still was otherwise hungry and his mother needed to be up and running so unless she said so, he'd leave that be for the moment, plus she and Juuni seemed to be feeding off of each other in a strange way that James wasn't quite sure what to make of yet.

James laughed, "That is what Grandfather Enki's money pays for. Lovely assistants to convert my dreams to reality," He teased back. "For an event like this, I have them working around the clock but we can get it done."

Gabi just rolled her eyes and relaxed, sipping her water. She could talk to Ms Twitch later, but she wanted to see what the commotion was as well over at the large table. So many 'heroes' past and present that her camera finger was fairly itching. It would make for great shots. "I'll be right back," slipping out from the booth with a quick grab at her purse. One thing she liked about her contract, everyone was already covered under permission to photograph and video in perpetuity on the properties associated with the tournament. Minus private quarters of course.

She walked towards the large group but took a few casual photos of other fighters she recognized as well, showing her 'official' status card as needed.

James and Tellus sighed, but James spoke first. "I'll go get her when the food arrives," turning to Juuni he explained. "Once she gets involved in her work, she'll be lost to the world."

"Ah yes, Enki Leviathan. It's been a while since I heard that name..." she paused for a moment as a brief flicker of pain crossed her features and she flexed her left hand again. The energy Tellus was seeping into her was helping but it seemed that the fire in her arm was not so quick to fade. She worried her bottom lip before realising where she was and with who and replacing the worry with a smile. Picking up her glass she sipped again, looking over at James, "Seems like all the Leviathan blood have some sort of talent..." she mused softly, "It certainly will be interesting to see what you come up with James."

“I don’t think I could find anything to insult if I tried.” He gave a grin hearing that Greek accent buzz in his ear as she spoke, her voice had that sinister but seductive hiss, her eyes locked onto him split in slits down the middle of each pupil. The Olive Colored sk…

HOLY ******** HE WAS TALKING TO A SNAKE.

“JESUS **** CHR-“ He hesitated for a second before backing away. However, It seemed that the sudden snake woman made it clear that she was at least somewhat a musician, Sadly with the little time he had he couldn’t really make a choice on who would help him. He gave a quick cough. “W-Well then, Thank you…I-I just need to find another guitarist…YEAH” He stammered trying to find a way out of it otherwise, Yeah he had found one guitarist, but he wasn’t quite sure if it was the best idea attempting to flirt with…with that. He attempted to search around to find anyone. Only to see at the bar a man with what seemed to be a white streak in his hair. Now that wouldn’t surprise him, but what did was everything after that. The scarred skin, the disposition, and the clothing. “That guy…He looks familiar.” He then turned toward the snake lady and smiled. “Give me…just a second…”He would’ve asked her to tag along but lord knows it wasn’t going to be the best thing for him to view.

Leon was still waiting for the answer to his question for the message when the Marcus came up toward him and proceeded to speak.

Hey, I think I saw you somewhere…”

“No you didn’t.”

Short and to the point, Leon seemed to want to avoid this conversation in general, He quickly turned his back away from the Man and looked at the shelves instead. He didn’t seemed armed, from the little he was able to gather from the inquisitive man, but he simply wasn’t someone he wanted to deal with. Marcus took a closer view at Leon, Charred Skin with a lone green eye. “Yeah, I do…aren’t you the lead Guitarist for Dancing with Destiny…Leontias or something?” He asked. Leon winced at the comment and craned his neck away from Marcus with nothing short of a grumble. "I wasn't the lead guitarist, there was no lead guitarist the guitarist job changed from song to song."

His lack of an answer to the question and Leon Ignoring it told Marcus all he wanted to know. Dances with Destiny was somewhat of an underground Metal hit, but they seemed to drop off the face of the earth for most guys like Marcus. Leon however, did not seem completely happy about this prospect, he turned around and ruffled his hair. "So...What do you want from me?"Leon asked.

Marcus decided to make it simple

"I need a Replacement Guitarist."

"No."

Leon responded and was set to turn around again. He turned back to his steak completely attempting to ignore the guy now. However, the man was insistent."Look, I don't want you apart of the band, I need you to cover for some dumb druggies who are going to be finding themselves on either an aisle or a window seat.""Come on, We just need someone for a single day." Leon clicked his head to the side and gave off a sigh. "I am sorry, but I cannot help you with this..." Leon spoke and lifted himself from his chair set to walk off, He couldn't go back to his band, not after what happened with his last one. As much as he wished he could help Marcus. It was just...too hard to get back to work like that...

Soon after his rejection, Marcus might be compelled to turn around and look at the lady who he'd first approached because... y'know, she was still there. Whenever he did turn around, he would find that she had adjusted her seating position so that she was facing and looking directly at him, her smile remaining just as it was when he first approached, as if he hadn't exclaimed in surprise about the implications of her appearance.

She was content to sit and watch him. She had practice and patience; either he would find someone else or his desperation would overcome his repulsion.

5Clash Fah

A man with golden brown locks entered the Crimson Hawk Hotel lobby. The man, called Allen Fah by name, after his ancestry, wore an XXL white tee-shirt, double steel pauldrons, athletic tape on his hands, slim fit navy blue pants, geta, an armored cape and a cutlass in a sheath on his left hip. He checked in brusquely and headed to his room, unpacking his bags before heading to the bar where the other fighters gathered. He ordered a martini, shaken, not stirred, bringing a glass to his lips and eating a green olive. "Mm!" Allen wore armor and carried a weapon just in case anyone tried to give him any trouble. Confident in his abilities, Allen knew the Heaven or Hell tournament could be very competitive, and having been on the winning team of its previous episode's arc, he worried about somebody trying to bump him off before the real fighting started. That would be very entertaining, to say the least, but not worth it. Allen savored the olive's sweet juices as he played with the pendant adorning his stout neck.

+++A single, feathery, black wing erupted from the right side of Allen's latissimus dorsi, keeping him warm in the air conditioned bar. After he finished his drink, he started to look around at the gathering of heroes in the Crimson Hawk, taking manners into consideration as he sized the other fighters up. Putting a squeeze on his funny bone, he slapped his knee, looking merry and gay. "O brother, where art thou?" he asked in a lilting, sing song voice. He finished his martini and then got up, heading to the bathroom to exercise in pure isolation.

It would be very worth it.

Suddenly an armored knight burst into the Hawk. To be precise, it was more along the lines of white muscle cuirass, with radiant flames bursting off of it. Incidentally, the man's arms, legs, and even head were obscured by red flames. The only feature besides his body armor that one could make out was a pair of black metal sunglasses of some kind, and a greatsword on his back.

A few idle spectators would have stopped what they were eating, pausing to gawk momentarily, before resuming eating casually.

"Oh! Ryugi, welcome back." A regular patron would shout out.

"Didn't even recognize you man. Get a haircut?" Another one chimed in jovially.

However, the muscular man in flames apparently known as "Ryugi" stood silently; a single red tendril running from his left foot on off out the open door and into the horizon.

This was about to be quite the duel.

Allen's head turned as an armored knight entered the Crimson Hawk hotel bar area. Noticing the man's greatsword, Allen drew his cutlass, holding the blade in front of himself defensively. "Ryugi!" exclaimed Allen. "Wait a minute, why are there two of you? Someone please tell me what is going on!"

[[UHG. Ignore that damned troll Hael. I know we are. There is only one Ryugi.]]

And Kazamaru grinned.

"Heh. Allen Fah, huh? I heard about you." Drawing out both Ragnarok AND Titan Blade, Ryugi got up off the bar and began to radiate an ominous power from his teeth.

"Shame you came all this way. Might as well finish up your drink first-- it'll be your last, kid.

D' sighed at the boys being louder than the other boys, pinching the bridge of her nose.

You two are not doing this here."

She then downed the rest of her sangria. She needed something harder.

...

Like a strong, chiseled, male body.

...

Or a daiquiri. Yeah, A daiquiri would be much cheaper and leave fewer regrets a couple hours later.

"You two are not doing this here."

It was unknown what response she expected. But what she got, was deafening silence.

The kind that was arguably louder than a vocal reply. Like a wave of cicadas washing across the room, each passing instant another octave louder, another step higher. A pressure.

Until it was broken.

SHNNNNNN drew the infamous sword proper, his Titan Blade falling to the ground uselessly in the mere shadows of the great [Ragnarok]. There were many things Ryugi Kazamaru could not nay, would not tolerate as seismic tremors from his power rising began to flood the surrounding region.

A woman telling him what to do... he'd never accept that!

She -- and this boy playing pretend soldier at the bar stool with his toy sword -- they would pay!

Even if he had to burn down this hotel!

Especially if he had to burn down this hotel!

He was once just a country kid with a sword. But now. The world was his country.

11Amelia Tomorrow

A young woman walked casually down the street towards the entrance of the Crimson Hawk Hotel. She bobbed her head in time with the music playing on her headphones, mouthing the words to the song under her breath. She slipped by the crowds gathering at the entrance and pushed open the door easily with one hand. Slipping the headphones off she ran both hands over the buzzed sides of her head and then one hand through her hawk. A grin flickered across her lips as she imagined her mothers reaction to her hair cut.

Setting aside thoughts of her mother the woman turned her green eyes to the reception desk and walked over, rolling her shoulders a little and cracking her neck. Leaning on the counter she waited for the receptionist to notice her and come over. There was a lot of ruckus going on in the reception area and the restaurant area seemed just as busy. While the woman waited she cast her eyes over the people present.

"Ahem?"

"Oh shi-!" The woman startled a little as the receptionist coughed to draw her attention, her hand gripping the desk so tight the wood creaked and groaned under it, "Hi, sorry. Er, I've got a room booked?"

The receptionist cast a quick eye over the girl, an eyebrow raised but said nothing. They'd had all sorts checking in recently, "Name?"

"Amelia. My brother already checked in? Adamus?"

The reception raised another eyebrow and made the connection with the young man who had already checked in. They shared the same eyes, and nose... Twins? She nodded, typed in the necessary details on the computer and then handed Amelia her key, giving her brief directions to her room.

"Thanks!" Amelia said with a smile, pushing off from the desk and making her way round to the hotel elevators to find her room and hopefully her brother.

Gustave Aodhart: *Encouragement!* At The Bar

Gustave couldn't help but overhear the conversation happening so close to him. The young man that he'd injected with healing potion was refusing to ply his trade. Gustave took a sip of his rum and coke and turned to look back over his shoulder. Slotted red eyes locked on Leon's face, and Gustave's brow furrowed.

Gustave's pupils narrowed to the point of almost disappearing entirely.

"Play that guitar, Weezie, or I'm gonna pour this drink all over your crotch."

He menacingly gestured to the second, untouched rum and coke in the empty bar seat to Gustave's right.

"And good rum is a terrible thing to waste," she said, tilting her head back to comment on an exchange a couple seats down that had nothing to do with her. She pitched her voice down in mock horror, widening her eyes at the guy they called Weezie. "You're not about to have that sugar-cane-blood on your hands now, are you?" Hands, crotch. Whatever.

Incidentally, half of her refreshing bubbly drink was also a terrible thing to waste. She narrowed her eyes at the super-powered posturing that was getting people literally rattled up. Finishing her glass with a discontent slurp of her straw, she set the empty drink back down on the bar (taken from us too soon #thoughtsandprayers), flicked the spill off her hand, and brought up a couple floating holo-panels - one of which had a small blinking red REC in the corner. Who were these hatheads so itching for a bruising that they couldn't even wait for the masqu - er, opening ceremonies of the tournament?

Leon movement stopped, his arms now pointed down to the ground. His charred left hand was now twitching at the thought of this all. In his mind his thoughts were swirling, at this point, performing couldn’t possibly to anything for him. He had more important things to worry about, and performing was not it, not again. However, something was eating at him, that feeling of the stage, the crowd chanting your name, just the thought made his blood stir, a feeling he never completely ‘GOT’ what it was. All he knew was that it felt good. For some reason, he couldn’t stop smiling thinking about it.

He raised his right hand in the air, and instantly a flash of blue light flashed in the room, and with that flash, his weapon of choice would suddenly appear in his hand. The Royal Blue body seemed to offset the golden pickups, bridge, and tuning pegs, giving it a regal look, until the traveled through the rest of the body, revealing the ax bit right at the bottom of the body, glowing a violent neon blue. Electricity crackled around as he quickly turned around staring at Marcus.

“Whoever I am replacing, I am getting his cut.”

As he spoke, Leon turned his body around revealing what seemed to be an almost childlike grin. Marcus was not sure about it, but there was something about it that gave him the confidence he’ll be going all out for the gig. “Good…” He looked between Leon and the…snake…woman…thing that had decided to be the rhythm. “Okay, We need to get on stage, we might not have time to practice, so we might have to go for a cover…” He walked back toward the lady, careful not to act to...repulsed by the woman's gangly form.

Leon, carrying his guitar, however, was already on the way to the stage."Just show me what we're playing and I'll go through with it, I just hope my Rhythm Guitarist can keep up." The guitar in his hand seemed to completely change his mood. Confidence exuded over him, completely different from his apprehensive cautious nature earlier.
