His Name - Ryugi Kazamaru Wrote:

As Ryugi powered up, Allen could feel the earth shake under his feet. "What power!" he growled. As a reaction, Allen opened his chakras, engorging his body with spirit energy flowing between the planet and the sun, the hole in the sky which the souls of Gaia's dead flooded to. Using spirit energy, he tapped into the shard of the Soul Gem worn on a chain around his neck, which gave him the ability to create and destroy nearly all forms of energy. "Well, Ryugi, what are you waiting for?" Allen asked. "I wish this could wait until the tournament started, but, if you insist, you first!"

James chuckled again, his expression sheepish as he glanced after Gabi and saw the coming storm that seemed to want to take over the restaurant. Per usual, these people did not stop fighting or would use any excuse to fight. It was tiring and why neither he nor Gabi spent much time here. But he saw Twitch moving towards them and gave it no mind. Turning to Juunikyuu, he smiled.

"I see light blues and maybe some dark flashes. Not too fluffy, but very sexy without being overt about it." He pointed to her cradled arm, "I've even come into some material that can act as a cast for you so it doesn't ruin the silhouette."

Oh, of course she was here too.

"Matty? Hi!" Rox smiled. Her voice carried with it that "Hey look! I'm behaving!" sort of tone. She didn't know all too much about her agent/bodyguard/fixer...? Except for the fact that she was very good at her job, and she was a pretty kick-a** sparring partner. "CAN YOU BELIEVE I RAN INTO THESE GUYS?" Did Mat care? Rox didn't wait for an answer. She stood to her feet, using both hands to pull Izette up as well.

"WAITWAITWAIT!" She was NOT going to let this moment pass her by. No chance. She reached out and pulled in Izette, Zandra, Mat, and anyone else who happened to be standing a little too close to her. There was no escape, she was a photogenic vortex. Her phone was a bright, glittery blur as it was drawn at speeds only possible with years and years of practice.

”SMILE!”

Click! A duck face! Click! V-for Victory! Click! A Kissy face! Click! A smile! Click! A wink! Click! A pout? Click! Whoops, eyes closed! Click! Awesome face?

Rox somehow managed a different pose in each and every one of those shots. Let's see what sorta selfie game these other jerks were bringing.

Juunikyuu nodded along with what James was saying, taking another sip of water before visibly blanching and almost spitting out her mouthful of water. She swallowed it with a little struggle and put the glass down. It took her a couple of seconds to compose herself as she took a breath.

"I don't need a cast little one. It's... Just an old injury playing up is all."

The Senshi hoped she sounded convincing.

She wasn't gangly, she wasn't using a waif disguise...

The woman stood up, her arms stretching over her head as her body twisted to the left and the right. Her spine popped and cracked with the motion, and her face seemed more relaxed for the action. Once done, she walked towards Marcus, noting his expression.

"You seem nervous," she observed while putting her arms on his shoulders, hands interlocking behind his head. "You should relax. Your music will be stiff if your shoulders are stiff." Her head tilted. "And you should tell me your name, person who asked me to play and is hoping my claims of being the best are justified."

The woman felt Enness wrap his arms around her, a warm feeling filled her… it could be called affection? Love maybe? It surprised her that such an emotion still existed within the feral creature she had become. Before she had a chance to say anything though her body was spun around and a sharp hiss filled the air briefly as the cold tiles stung the still sore and red posterior from the repayment earlier.

Any other reply was silenced as Enness pressed his lips to hers, forcing her to submit to him. Jay was well aware of what it was he hungered for… and was more than willing to oblige. Reaching up the fingers of her left hand would dig viciously into his shoulder before the right grasped the hair on the back of his head. Practically climbing the man to wrap her legs about his waist.

Pulling away from the kiss to stare into his deep blue eyes while grinning devilishly, “Guess I had better feed you then…” Without giving enough pause for a reply her lips would find his and return the feverish kiss from before.

There was definitely no dull moments when they were together… Jay also had no intention of letting him go. They had claimed each other and gods help anyone who tried to get between them.

Vahn Fah Wrote:

> By the time Sierra had rejoined them at their table, which wasn't too hard to even find given the sheer loudness coming from the laughter that seemed to roar through the eatery, Vahn would be seen giving Silver one of many hard smacks against his back. He was trying to prevent the choking of the younger fighter who had attempted to swallow an entire slab of meat still attached to an outrageously large femur of whatever unlucky animal had once owned it after they had just both seen Miranda do it- and with hardly any mess one might add.

Silver Alexander Wrote:

> Silver hacked and coughed a few times. He gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to Vahn with one hand signaling the "all clear", the femur still in the other, while he regained his composure. Despite the event that had just obviously happened, he refused to be deterred. He turned to Miranda, brandishing the bone, ready fore another. > > > > "Okay, OKAY, one more try! I think I got it this time. I just--"

Vahn Fah Wrote:

> There was an extra space at the table for the young man with her as if he had already known that she would be dragging the voyeur along. Her intentions had been clear as day thanks to the Soul Bond, and it was high luck that he had even noticed the extra presence to begin with. He was not going to ever admit to that of course. > > > > There was an empty seat next to Vahn himself, and the other chair would place its occupant between Silver and Miranda. There were already several pitchers of water on the table, along with whatever other drinks the other two had already ordered. Several empty plates of what had supposed to have been appetizers lay in front of Silver, who certainly did not look as if he were satisfied in the slightest. There were menus on the table as well, the contents of which seemed vaguely familiar...but certainly representative of the 4-star rating that the Hawk garnered for the place. > > > > "I hope you all don't mind! I brought a friend." > > > > He looked up mid-smack, still wearing that toothed grin of his, before stretching out both arms at both Sierra and the young man. > > > > "Nothing like that," the young man said before raising his head again, "the Lady simply picked up a stray." > > > > "The more the merrier!" he exclaimed, even as he motioned to the empty seat in front of him.

As she took in the table and the dishes already starting to pile up, and at the clear rivalry taking place between Miranda and Silver; the hubris that had lead Silver to the back blows he was receiving, as he all but choked on more food than should be able to fit in any human's mouth at one time. She raised an eyebrow at Vahn-- A father now. And yet you got him together with this lot, and he was just one of the kids. She couldn't help but smile as she shook her head resigned to the tab that was surely going to be one of record if this was any indication.

As Silver coughed and sputtered, she would pour a glass of water from one of the pitchers and hand it to him, her smile wavering with some concern.

Vahn Fah Wrote:

> He patted the chair beside him, as he glanced towards Sierra, before focusing back to hear how the young man answered Miranda. Two whole empty pitchers of water alone were near his person, showing just how badly his thirst needed to be slaked.

Despite the slightly admonishing look she had given him, her face softened as he glanced at her and patted the seat beside him, inviting her to rejoin him. She had taken silent notice that he already accounted for the young man joining them, and her smile turned into a grin as she mouthed silently,

"One moment my love."

It was still surreal, these little reminders of how close they had grown, the fact that he could often read her intentions without her having to say anything. The subtleties that they were each able to pick up on. She had no doubt, that if he had sensed this much, he would have also had some inclination of the warning she had imparted their dinner guest.

'Just a stray and not a friend hmmm?' She wondered to herself.

'Is he telling me something with that phrasing? Was it intentional?'

For better or for worse, the young man's rebuttal was noted.

Silver Alexander Wrote:

> His bleary vision cleared to find Sierra returning, Vahn already offering her a seat. Despite the short amount of time they had been there, Silver's work tie was already wrapped around his head and hanging to one side. Several of his buttons had come undone to reveal his undershirt, both his sleeves rolled up to the elbows. An ordinarily unbelievable amount of licked clean plates and empty flagons had begun to pile up on their modest table, par for the course given the present company, who were able to consume faster than the wait staff could retrieve. He waved her over. > > > > "Oiii, Nee-chan! Welcome back! Hurry, you're just in time for the next course!"

Sierra reached a delicate hand out to tousle his hair. It was good to see the vigor returning to his eyes more and more with each passing moment. Even without the blur of tears from choking, they shone again.

"Yes, but you have to be conscious to enjoy it, Otouto! Are you okay?"

Miranda Ecks Wrote:

> The boy from the elevator. Well, she wasn't the leader of this party, and otherwise had no place or desire to deny him admittance to the table. He was given the smallest nod of acknowledgement. > > > > "Your name?"

She would walk around the table to join Vahn, placing a hand on Miranda's shoulder and giving it a gentle squeeze of acknowledgment as she passed. She was glad that the she-wolf had agreed to join them. It had been too long since she'd been able to truly enjoy the company of Miranda or her alter ego Laz. Even if she elicited poor judgment from Silver's competitive side. She didn't think it was possible for even the bottomless pit that was the silver haired man's stomach to win over the wolf's voracious appetite, or impressive mandible. But she would never tell Silver that--

themightyjello Wrote:

> "Anson, ma'am," the young man answered to the beast woman when he rose from his earlier bow; as he did, his eyes turned to Vahn to watch for a reaction if there was one, and then to Sierra to see if she reacted to that.

Regardless of whether Vahn would react or not, Sierra's face would remain fixed in a smile as she rounded to her husband's side of the table. Slipping her arms around his neck and leaning over the back of his chair to press a kiss to his cheek before finally sliding gracefully into the vacant chair and seating herself beside him.

She reached her hand to his, grasping it and giving it a loving squeeze before she picked up one of the menus scattered on the table, and opened it up hungrily, her eyes pouring over the options like opening a chest to reveal the treasures contained within.

"Mmmm!"

Silver Alexander Wrote:

> "Oooh?!" > > > > Silver shot to his feet, far too excited by the evening he was having at this point to be disappointed their guest wasn't who he had hoped. He leaned forward and slapped one hand on the table, dropping the femur and rattling the dinnerware, as he extended his other across it toward the other young man, beaming. The next cartoonish leg of mutton had been left sitting dangerously close to Miranda's spot at the table, in the empty place between the two of them. > > > > "I'm Silver, and this is my crew! It's always nice to meet a friend of Sierra's!"

themightyjello Wrote:

> Then, he turned to the team captain and leaned forward, placing a hand on the back of the open chair that Vahn had gestured to so that he could lean over the table and extend a hand to Silver. "We've met once, Mr. Alexander, a long time ago. It looks like a few years can have a big effect on those of us who aren't elves and immortals, I almost didn't recognize you even though I must admit that I used to have the whole set of Glacier trading cards."

SilverAlexander Wrote:

> His hand, not to mention his face, definitely could have used a napkin...

Sierra seemed to be half listening, and half debating on what to order as she sat picking over the menu making excited and eager sounding noises as certain items piqued her interest. Glancing up at Silver as she noted Anson's words, she would clear her throat gently and frowning pass him a napkin.

Silver didn't know it yet-- but he had a date with his Nee-san to go get tidied up and replace the worn out work clothes he was wearing. She'd spring that on him a little later though!

themightyjello Wrote:

> "If you're all willing to indulge an old fan for a bit, I'd love to join you." As he spoke, Anson pulled out the chair and slipped the duffel bag from his shoulder to drop on the ground behind it. > > > > "What's this, though?" he suddenly exclaimed in mock amazement as his hand slowly moved over the top of the water pitchers sitting in front of Vahn, "I never expected there to be a food that is too hot for Vahn Fah to handle..."

"Bahahaha!"

Burying her face back in the menu, she couldn't help but laugh. She knew that all the glasses of water had nothing to do with spicy food and everything to do with Vahn trying to rehydrate after things had gotten so heated earlier. But the look on Anson's face and the tone of his voice was too funny.

James raised an eyebrow at the little one comment, but only simply addressed it. "Well, the material will work to act as a cast, armor or anything else you should need for support of it." He teased his mother, "Your friend, Celeste ordered quite a bit of it for something."

He brought up one finger thoughtfully. "Is she still looking for a team mate for her and her husband?"

Tellus nodded, "Two in fact, Benito could not make it this year. His nonna is not doing well."

"I'll have to keep an eye out but -maybe- they won't actually hold the tournaments," and both mother and son snorted. James relaxed and took another sip of water, glancing at Gabi snapping away at pictures, focusing on shots of Twitch and Sierra, but making a fairly good spread.

"Gotcha," she whispered, snapping a picture of Sierra laughing, mentally sticking a pin in it for later. Another shot of Silver and mostly ignoring the crowd gathering around, other than to take a few pics of Twitch going over to deal with it, then back to Vahn and company.

"Anson, ma'am," His single eye didn't waver from staring at the young man even as that feeling of familiarity was finally explained. It was as if a huge breath that he had been holding for too long was finally given freedom, even as the memories of that time came flooding in. The chatter seemed to continue on as Silver spoke- but that singular moment in which each stared at the other felt as if it were encapsulated within its own flow of time.

"I was just... wondering,"

His heart thudded loudly in his ears, even as he could not help but see a much younger Anson sitting across from him then, smiling even as he presented a sword out to the Murmillion. It felt as if he were right back in that moment, even as it became overshadowed with lines of blood. Their clash atop the wreckage of an airship had been free of any burdens of fate...or so he had thought. He had hoped a better path for the boy, but who the hell was he to decide what was better? "What it's like... to be... the best?"

It was the soft press of her lips that brought him back, that lopsided grin of his having never left his face this entire time. But the beat of his heart would betray him for the briefest of moments, even as her touch grounded him once more. It was easy to forget how much time could actually affect those around him, something he simply stopped caring about the first few decades of his life yet here in front of him was a stark reminder that the clock never really stopped completely.

He returned Sierra's grasp with a firm grip as if to thank her silently while betraying nothing outwardly for the others to pick up on. "..." Taking hold of his glass, he drained another half of a pitcher of water, the glass itself fogging up slightly. He was amused with Sierra's growing interest in what to eat, even as he leaned back in the chair.

"If you're all willing to indulge an old fan for a bit, I'd love to join you." He arched his eyebrows at that, giving a tilt of his head in response. "What's this, though- I never expected there to be a food that is too hot for Vahn Fah to handle..."

There was the briefest of pauses before he erupted with laughter "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA", slamming his hand down atop the table even as he leaned in towards Anson. "Eh?? Didn't you know kid- things don't work so well after a certain age!" He continued to laugh even as he leaned back draped an arm around Sierra. "Let's order now! I'm famished!"

“He’s not playing anything, Miss. He’s the bassist.”

Leon was already on stage looking at the sheets of music, His eyes however from the page to page as he observed the notation that would be on stage with him. The sheets of music on the stage floor, as he sat down tuning his guitar axe…Thing. “And Judging from what He’d be playing, not a very GOOD Bassist either.” It was at that point Leon began to play with the tuning pegs, making sure that he was in tune for the performance. Marcus raised his eyebrow, just a few second ago Leon didn’t seem like he wanted to even touch this but now…He was going into the mold just fine.

“Well I am also the singer, so can you cut me a break.”

Marcus was beginning to be a bit intimidated, He heard that Leon was the workaholic, but not to the point of already attempting to memorize the sheet music moments after being hired. Leon sighed and ruffled his hair. “Fair Enough, but I do believe this woman did ask of your name, and with that, I guess I am a bit curious too…so…what is it Matter of Fact, what is hers?” Leon said giving one strum to his guitar. Without an amplifier, the fuzzy sound of the electric guitar buzzed throughout the bar. Leon cracked his neck. It had been a while since he had heard that note for something not apart of battle.

It felt good.

Marcus, however, was baffled. This was an odd experience and even stranger by the woman whose arms were now on his shoulders. He was shaking for a few seconds suddenly uncomfortable with space. “M-Marcus….P-Plea-pleasu-su-….Nice to meet you.” His Stammered speaking showing that he wasn’t quite over it just yet.

She looked between the two men, before giving her attention once more to the one she was, for good or for ill, flirting with.

"Descant," she offered, loud enough for both of them to hear. She was sure to enunciate slowly, making her slight hiss more prominent. Clearly, she was being more theatrical than she needed, teasing Marcus for his obvious discomfort.

Her arms stretched behind him once more, elbows popping before she relaxed her wrists on his shoulders-- still close, but he wasn't 'trapped' in her arms.

"Do you need a massage?" Her eyes opened wide, matching her toothy grin. "Do you want me to give you a massage after we play? Or do you already have groupies for that sort of thing?"

“N-No! I’m Fine, Besides we have about five minutes to go on stage and…”

“And I rather not waste any time…”

Leon walked off of the stage with the sheet music in hand and nodded. “There’s it’s memorized, now get on stage and let’s go, both of ya. You can assault him Later Descant.”Leon spoke with a stern voice that didn’t seem to be at all shaken with the snake woman currently wrapping herself around the completely scared individual. “Now Let’s all get on stage, get set and have some fun.” Leon said with a giant grin. A complete opposite reaction to the one he had just seconds ago. There was something oddly off about the smile, it still seemed like it was hurt but it was slightly comforting.

Marcus took this as a sign, and slipped out of Descant’s arms. “Right, Let’s get a move on Shall we?”He asked. He would have to thank Leon later for his interference but for now, it was time to play.

"I'm not going to entertain your seemingly endless Sex Drive, It didn't work with Avveline and it won't work with you." He spoke without even an inch of being shaken by her clear flirtation. This was not the first flirt he had to deal with, hell It wasn’t the first he had to WORK with. He chuckled at the Memory of Avveline, getting out of a nearby alleyway during a show serving some of the male groupies. Leon Almost attempted to hold down a laughter at the memory and the sight, especially the dysfunction of what he used to call his “Family.”

However those times were over, and it was time to get back to work. Marcus stepped on stage and grabbed his Rickenbacker Bass “Spotlight Kid by Rainbow.” He answered the question of The snake and handed her the notes. Leon however was already practicing the notes on his guitar, Already it seemed like he had this down. His playing was Pristine and the tone of his guitar was wild sounding as his fingers danced around the fret.“We only have a few minutes, I hope you know how to sightread.”
