The curtain fell. Suddenly the Stone queen was alone. The air was cold and dry, the long hall was eerily silent. She could still smell the scent of new clothing, as she had been lead through the Magicians shop. Her eyes had been transfixed on the numerous curios and oddities illuminated in rustic candlelight. For that reason she could not recall the face of the attendant after the curtain had closed behind her.
The short hairs stood up on the back of her neck, with platinum blonde hair done up in a short mohawk. Sapphira Ecstuffuan was a young athletic woman, short but thick with muscle that glistened in the candlelight of the hall. Her physique was practical, that of a person who worked for a living and who liked to eat, appealing, in its way. As tough as she looked though even she looked unsettled by the long hallway. Such knew that spirits could find themselves trapped in such places. Despite her age she had walked the planes and knew the truth of such things.
At the end of the long hallway was a mirror. In it she saw that oblivion was at her back, a darkness so palpable that it seemed to reach out with desperate grasping hands. Though unsettled, the Stone Queen walked forth, eager to engage whatever opponent this strange arena held for her. Along the hallway were doors, whose handles reflected the light of the hall. As she made her way through the narrow hall, her hand brushed against a door handle.
When the door snapped open and black hands lunged out towards her, she was taken off guard. Yet still she managed to struggle against them. They would find the Stone Queen to be difficult prey as she wrestled against the many black limbs. *"What in the ********! Argghhhh!"*, Try as she might though Sapphira would be pulled in by the hands through the door frame. The door would slam close behind her and once again the hall would be silent...

pfhh!
Suddenly the Stone Queen would be vomited forth from one of the door frames in the far end of the room away from the growing darkness. She landed in a crouch and rose to her feet with a look of surprise as she gazed down at her outfit. *"Oh s**t!"*, she said as she took in the white Karate Gi. The heavy white fabric felt familiar on her pale skin. It was similar to the Gi she wore while she trained with Sieg Ecstuffuan in the Lu-Bu dojo. She recalled fond memories of Grandfather and while that training was some of the hardest she ever endured, it formed the core of her strength.
"This ones for you papa"
With an resolute expression on her face she pulled on the belt to tighten it against her waist. She then took an orthodox boxers stance and watched at the end of the hall for her opponent.
