Marcus was quick on his feet, dipping his head to tuck into an evasive roll. The fireball that whizzed past his shoulder, leaving it to rocket another ten feet down the hallway before it impacted on the wall, decorating the wallpaper with an ashy smear. Rou scowled, a foul grimace versus her usually clever smile; she kept low, bent at the knees and with her arms ready, as it seemed #6 wasn't keen to the type of tumble in the hallway she liked.
He jumped, and reared his arm, going on the offensive. If she retreated, he'd simply chase, and try again. It couldn't be helped; it was time to get close and personal.
She transferred her weight from her left to her right, her balance low in the hips as she moved slightly right, bobbing in the knees to keep from getting struck in the clavicle, darting with a whip of her head and long black ponytail to keep her face away from his viper-like punch. But with his arm extended, she wasn't keen to let him get away and make a second attempt.
Quickly, as his arm was extended over her shoulder, Rou's left hand slapped over his wrist, and her right swung up. From beneath the frills of a white maid's cuff swung the chain of her shackle, the momentum carrying the length up and over his bicep, curling around it-- just long enough for Rou to catch the other end of the chain with her right hand. She held it tight, as it slipped down the length of his arm, meeting with her other hand until the links of chain bunched unforgivingly at Marcus' wrist.
Pivoting on her left foot, Rou turned, both hands holding tight onto his right arm (left by his wrist, the right on her chain that held it captive). Her face swept by the length of his arm, not noticing his mutation but a few inches from her own eyes as she was caught up in her own assault. Once her back was to him, Rou ducked.
She made to roll forward, by the left shoulder which currently hosted Marcus' arm. Rou was too small to simply throw him, but if her body tumbled, the chain around his wrist would make sure he did, too, aiming to slam #6 flat on his back.
