Heaven or Hell: RE-Union - Round 3

Team Hold My Beer vs. Team Smash and Sass

No Mercy Hospital

Non-stop express to the top floor. Three large hospital-sized elevators carry the competitors from the ground floor to the roof. Only catch: they fight on the way up.

General - The elevator measures ten feet across by ten feet wide and eight feet high. The match begins when the doors close and it begins its ascent. The elevator reaches the roof at post 9 where fighters may step out onto the roof.

Weapons - An emergency phone and a fire extinguisher in a small cabinet.

Bonus Effects - Fighters in this arena are paired off and placed into 4 identical elevators racing to the roof of this abandoned hospital. The first 9 posts of the match are 1v1 battles, until the elevators reach the top. Then the doors open and all 8 participants are dumped out onto the 100 foot square roof in a massive free-for-all. Falling off the roof is considered a ring-out, but the elevator shaft is still in-bounds!

2Ryugi Kazamaru

"Really? A damn hospital?" Rance stomped into the waiting room with a frown. "Not once have these bastards managed to put together a decent place to fight, though I guess that other one was alright." The battlefield was, at least, a battlefield. So there was a good feeling about the place. But this? No way. "What do they expect us to do? Beat eachother with outdated magazines?" He kicked over a table full of them, some about home and gardening, others about how to please your man, others talking about 150 different ways you might have cancer, sponsored by WebMD. "This sucks a**..." He pulled free a bottle of Fizzy Izzy from his pack and started drinking. It was the one thing from that round that was any good, and it was free.

"A hospital isn't even the worst of it."

D' walked up to the elevator, drinking her own soda-- Uberjuice ("You don't wanna know what's in it!" wink , Monkey's Stolen Peach flavor. A small swirl of the drink and she double-tapped the call button before even looking to see if Rance had already done so.

"You must be new to this. I used to fly the military carrier people fought in, and on. Ah, but for the simple days of Heaven or Hell. This is my second tournament but I've been part of it from the start, and I'm glad it's back on, even if for a last hurrah."

Dzan was there. Pissed off as always. Bronze eyes in a perpetual scowl. What it do

Of course Dzan was there.

"Hey," she called out to him, "those lho sticks that you smoke. Where do you get them from, and if you have some on you, can I have a couple?"

6Ebag The II

+++At this point he'd force himself to speak Gaian Common. "Ship them in from out of the sector." He'd say as he'd pull forth a metal case that was way too fancy for an individual like him and hand it over. "I've got a few left iffin' ya want 'em. I've got a few cases at the warehouse if you wanna buy those for stock."

Ebag The II Wrote:

"Heck yeah, man, I appreciate it." D' stepped forward and took a couple of the proffered sticks, first looking them over in her hands to get a whole sense of it against her fingers, and in her nose when unlit. As for the case, there was no such thing as 'too fancy' for someone; if someone had something fancier than the rest of their attire or attitude tended to suggest, then there was likely a proper story behind it. A guy who knew when and where to splurge was appreciated.

"After all of this, if you can give me the number of who you get them from, I'll be happy to get you a small finder's fee." Holding the sticks between both clawed index fingers, she looked through them at Dzan.

"I like your accent. May I ask where you're from?" Of course she had one as well, as if she were placing more syllables in the words than existed, but she was clearly interested in his.
