"...salsa...?"
The upward inflection at the end of the statement hinted at the fact that if she weren't talking about a thoroughly seasoned garnish he hadn't the slightest clue what she was referring to... though it didn't seem to show on his face, or at least the half of it that was visible. Though puzzling to witness, the young man did not lose his composure at the sudden transformation of the woman in front of him and, if anything, it was her accent that caused his tongue to act slowly rather than the way that she began to blossom.
Gaia was a strange land, and whether loved by the gods or hated by them a self-styled adventurer quickly grew accustomed to seeing things that would make them question their understanding what could be called "natural". Compared to men who were actually withing balls of boiling snakes wearing clothing, shadows with shadows, and humans that dress as animals, someone who was literally rather than metaphorically blossoming into womanhood seemed fairly run-of-the-mill.
However, the various forms of cultural dance was not something that he'd taken the time to study between climbing mountains and wrestling bears and generic-brand bear-equivalents; so after a moment's pause the young man placed his right hand across his chest and performed a curt bow to the questionably dryadic female as he said "Forgive me, as I'm unfamiliar with the steps. I'll have to ask you to lea--"

> Then the vine spat death. A rapid-fire barrage of needle-spines, thorn hooked finely like a tiny harpoon, dozens of them to stitch across the man's face and torso.
The hand came up from his chest to shield his face from the first barbs, and the next few tore into his sleeve as the young man ducked to the side and behind the nearest of the small brick support pillars in the cellar. It wasn't wide, but it was wide enough to briefly shield him from the thorns before their mistress had a chance to reposition herself. The first few that had struck tore into the thin fabric of the jacket sleeve but left little more than scratches on the worn surface of the metal of the gauntlet on that hand; though the hooks and barbs on those needles snagged into the shredded sleeve of the jacket and hung stubbornly like porcupine quills.
For someone wearing such immodest clothing she certainty was hard to approach...
...though, there were definitely ways to get close to a woman like that. He took a deep breath as his left hand grasped at the small handle strapped to the underside of his right wrist, pulling a small dagger out from the sleeve and steeling his resolve for his next move in this dance. For him, the tension of the moment shifted suddenly as he recolored his spirit to match the golden light of the Stalwart and his skin grew a few shades lighter as the luminous aspect filled his body.
"Madame, I have a confession." Though he had put the pillar between them, the Wolf could still smell her flowers and hear the click of those heels upon the stonework. If she came closer before he stepped out, at least he would be ready for her now. "I don't think I will be able to trade dancing metaphors for very long."

Benefit: Gain all Minor aspected abilities associated with the chosen source.
Benefit: An embodied source can be changed out for another during combat.
Limitation: Only one source can be embodied at a time.
Limitation: Gain the (embodied) Compulsions and (embodied) Projections associated with the chosen source.
Limitation: Cannot use Major unaspected abilities while embodying to a source.
Limitation: Activated abilities of any type cannot be used in a post where an aspect is changed, the new aspect goes into effect at the end of the post.
Limitation: Becoming unconscious or asleep, or afflicted with confusion-type status causes the user to lose focus and become unaspected.
Embodying a source is a lesser version of bonding to a source. The user temporarily polarizes their spirit energy to resemble the source being embodied as an action that takes 1 full post, during which time no active abilities of any type can be used to avoid disrupting the process of aligning the user's spirit with the source (though non-spiritualist actions can be taken normally). An embodied source allows the user to access the minor aspected abilities associated with it, but not the major aspected abilities. An embodied source can be dropped at any time.
