Tickets spewed from the machine like vomit, draping across the stained arcade floor and folding over and over as more added to the pile. The boss defeated by Bob’s hand, his delicious slushy emptied, all was right in the world.

“Alrighty then, guess I’m finished.” Bob drawled, smiling at his bounty as the arcade machine sung his praises. High on success, he alley-ooped his empty cup into a nearby trash can and turned, still grinning, to face the enemy duo. His hands settled on the top of a can on each hip in some bizarre semblance of a cowboy about to draw.

“Now, I reckon it’s about time we got fighting don’t you boys? So, who’s up?”

" 'bout time," Rayner agreed, looking the kid over and glancing around...

At a glance, he counted the kid in front of him, the screaming man in the ballpit, and two women hanging around the place that he was pretty sure weren't employees. And hey, swing and a miss with the camera girl and a wad of his cash, but at least Anson was showing interest in women, which was a fine start if they were going to get him a proper girlfriend. Best not to mess with a good thing.

"Kid," head tilting over to indicate toward the others before Rayner squared off against the uh... urban artist?... and let the tension out of his limbs, plucking the arming sword out of the scabbard by his side and putting it over a shoulder, loose in his hand. "Why don'ch'ya go show wunna their ladies a time, I'll take, uh..."

He looked over Bob and his unlabeled spray cans again.

"...Banksy? Sure you don't wanna borrow a knife or somethin', pal?"

“Naw, I’m good.” Bob’s eyes narrowed behind his goggles, real slit like, if only there was an errant tumbleweed to roll on by. “‘Sides, Banksy ain’t half bad, but he uses stencils, ain’t no class in that, so I’d appreciate it if you just called me Bob, now fill yer hands.”

Thirty feet separated them, near perfect range for the Silly String Marksman. He drew, a can filling each hand even as he yelled out his challenge, with such speed that if he’d been armed with something a little more lethal Rayner was as good as dead. Of course, Bob had little experience with firearms and wouldn’t have drawn them near half as quick, but his was a specific skillset geared towards the weaponization of aerosol cans, and in that field of war Bob was king.

Twin streams of superstick spewed out from the nozzles, followed by quick darting broken lines like the center markings on a road as Bob burst fired his noxious and unwholesomely adhesive multicoloured plastic projectile at Rayner. He was interested to see how he reacted to the barrage, aimed across his upper body.

"A'ight, Bobbo." He split a grin, showing a hint of of pointed canine on his right, watching the man poise and set himself. The guy might have shown up dressed for graffiti from the looks of it, but he was a few rounds into a fighting tournament. Whatever kind of spray he had in those cans, money said it was weaponized. Probably bear mace instead of paint, or just straight up canned flame throwers, some kind of nasty nonsense. Still, better safe than sorry, he filled his other hand and lowered his center of gravity, reaching down to pluck one of the grenade looking objects from his belt. Sure seemed a little far away yet to look like someone was about to yell-

"Draw."

The cans came up into a firing position and he threw his weight to the side, sword arm tucked close to keep it out of the way as there was a half a second scream of the rockets on his boots, covering a lot more ground with his diving roll sideways, right into the eating area, coming up on a knee and putting his shoulder up into the table, bringing it down in front of him as cover as he glanced back to see what kind of havoc he'd just esca--

*Well now I feel ********' stupid.*

Silly string? It looked regular enough at a glance, which didn't make him tempted to wade into it and see if it suddenly decided bursting into flames was a thing it did, but he had to consider the small possibility that this man was not infact crafting his own weaponized gear like Rayner had done, but just trolling the absolute hell out of him.

"...ya sure 'bout that knife?"

Sword back into the scabbard, he grasped the metal pole supporting the center of the table, popping out for a glance at where Bob was at the moment- and wherever that was, chucked the grenade, aimed just in front of the man. Just close enough to put him inside the cloud of chilled fumes about to come out of it. As it flew he stood to crouch, bulling his way past a surrounding table as he made his way forward at a hustle, popping his head free soon as the smoke burst to look for which way the man would be dodging away from the sudden cloud as he worked on closing the distance to something more managable.

> Ice Howl Two B&V design 'grenades.' The Ice Howl does not actually explode with shrapnel or flames, violently venting a powerful coolant in a cloud roughly 4 feet in radius, choking out flames and making breathing harsh and painful on anyone inside, likely inducing painful coughing fits unless filtered. The cloud lasts for a single post, thick enough to act as a smoke bomb and obscure vision, before dissipating, leaving a residue from the coolant that makes it much harder to light even normally flammable objects, though a single post of brief flame exposure burns away said residue. The coolant only effects flames which require oxygen or fuel to burn, meaning some supernatural flames may not be snuffed, though the coolant may reduce the temperature of items heated by them while the cloud lasts. It's also possible for the initial burst to cause surface freezing of liquids, but not deep freezes, likely melting naturally within a few posts.

Rocket boots? Damn those look sweet. Oh s**t he’s gotah grenade!

Bob had seemingly stopped firing as he watched the swordsman rocket speed rolling into the diner. It was kind of awesome, he had to admit, though how he avoided slamming into all the chairs and table legs, not to mention smearing food waste on his clothes, was beyond him.

Of course, he then took cover behind a table, leaving Bob a little bemused as he started to walk forward with his cans primed. When the rocket man re-appeared however he was armed with some sort of throwing sphere, hence Bob’s sudden internal exclamation.

Bob’s muscle memory kicked in, training at striking down flying objects with long streams of string paying dividends as he fired both cans in a short burst of string that collided and tangled with the man’s thrown object in mid-air. Of course, Bob would have felt pretty stupid if it had been something completely harmless, but not quite as stupid as he’d feel if he’d performed an acrobatic roll to the side.

Fortunately for Bob, Rayner had thrown his projectile short so as to put Bob -just- within range of its ordinance. When the string hit, for hit it did with Bob’s impeccable silly string marksmanship, it tangled with the sticky substance and slowed perceptibly, falling further short and exploding in a brief cloud of ice too far from Bob to harm him.

“Ice smokescreen, that’s a new one.” Bob remarked, taking a few hasty steps back and holding his cans level, moving a little off to the left side in case Rayner was smart enough to have mentally clocked his position behind the cloud. He was far enough back to see Rayner if he maneuvered somewhere else to either side of the obscuration, and far enough back to give himself a moment’s grace to fire if the man came barreling through it. Until it cleared, Bob would play the waiting game.

"Back atcha," he commented, slowly trudging forward with the table and adjusted the awkward thing to get him a better space between the legs at the bottom -shield covering most of his person, watching for the man to dodge around the cloud out at him. "What's th' string do? Combust, electrocute, piss off janitors?" No signs, which meant he was probably hanging back and using the visual obstruction to make more distance. Probably the smart move. Rayner picked up his pace, hustling now, holding his breath briefly and lowering his head just enough to peer over the table as he went into the cloud and out the other side-

The very first thing he wanted to do was spot Bob and point that table directly at him, not missing a step.

Second would be gritting his teeth, feeling his muscles suddenly light up with tingles as output shot up, and he lunged hard into a full body throw- one hand on the pole and one on the bottom, slinging the much heavier projectile directly at Bob.

If he was lucky, it'd knock the man down- but he figured it could at least trip him up or make him focus on getting out of the way. It just had to be a little bit of an opening, relying on the temporary strength coursing through his body- and another quick flare of the rockets- to close the distance to the man as quickly as possible, for now focusing on grabbing him by the arm or collar if he could. That kind of reckless close would probably leave him open to getting shot at with whatever it was, but there he could return fire- so to speak.

There was another reason Bob moved slightly off to the left, it brought him closer to the row of arcade running down the side of the main thoroughfare. Needless to say when he saw a table suddenly materialise from the smoke cloud, the situation about to unfold immediately dawned on him and he started making a beeline for the machines as cover. Now, Bob had expected his opponent to carry the table as an impromptu shield and bumrush him, not launch it like a projectile. Nonetheless, quickly taking cover between the gaps between two machines and bracing with his back bought him the same respite as from the corner of his eye he saw the table hurtling towards him.

Even with his bodyweight against it, the machine swayed alarmingly, as with an almighty crack the table made impact. The wanton property damage was swiftly followed by a thrilling tinkle as children’s hard earned pocket money skittered to the floor in front of it, and Bob had to mentally resist making a grab for it as he looked around his cover. He fired a quick blast of string at his opponent who he saw rapidly approaching, more as a distraction than anything, and then squirreled his way between the machines into the next ‘aisle’ of the arcade. His attack was vaguely aimed at Rayner’s torso, but the sticky substance would have little effect if it did splash across his chest as Bob hoped.

However, as Bob made use of the small time he had, he quickly and skillfully traced a line of string across the bottoms of the four nearest machines, running through empty space. In mere moments he created sticky string triplines in all of the nearby gaps Rayner could implement to follow him. Now he could only back up a little and train his cans in Rayner’s general direction, reacting to what happened next.
