Ebris Dhifi, despite not being a space-faring philosopher or some other woo-woo profession, fully recognized and acknowledged the existence of the phenomena that manifested before his very eyes at that moment. It was a simple proposition, rigorously tested with the scientific method, proven to the point there was not a shadow of a doubt of its existence: when Ebris showed up to fight, the universe shifted, rewriting reality to suit his desires in that matter, and that matter alone.
If he BRAWLED, they would come.
The hunter’s eyes glinted as he surveyed his domain, the amusement contained within them suggesting an unpleasant time was to come. He watched as the small group had jerked their heads in his direction, gaping like a bunch of rathin’ fishes who had just been scooped up and dropped onto the shoreline. He didn’t recognize the dawning cognizance in those expressions that understood what was about to happen, and that suited him fine and dandy.
”Jimbos! Please, don’t stop yer grabass on account of lil’ ol’ me!” He responded to their various reactions, his voice like granite tumbling about an industrial grinder. That grod-eating grin never wiped itself from his face for a moment, where not even him taking a swig from his bagged booze. At first, the bounty hunter had assumed that the lot present would start lining up, but the first who approached was one drawn in by cosmic tomfoolery, preservation instincts overridden to answer the call of BRAWL.

”Sorry, broad - too rathin’ old fer that,” he replied, the oversized cocktease he was, and took another pull of his swill.
The girlie obviously wasn’t deterred - yanking out some pig stickers with an intimacy that suggested she used the things for reasons other than their primary purpose. Even the poor b***d she had dragged along couldn’t stop her from being seduced by the wiles of BRAWL**. Poor Jimbo was the only Jimbo there to realize what was coming, and not a force in the whole wide rathin’ world was gonna stop it.
Wiggling the fingers in his left hand - the subsequent noises sounding like gang warfare going off in his joints - Ebris had in mind the perfect way to start this, but then…
*But then…*
Designated Hero Wrote:> "I'll be goddamned. Ebris ****' Dhifi."
That...that surprised him. In the abso-rathin’-lutely best way possible.
”Rathin’ COLE,” came the deafening response, loud enough to register in the same ballpark as military-grade sonic weapons. Somehow, that grin became even wider, threatening to split Ebris’ cheeks wide open. **”Jimbo, yeh rathin’ look like me gettin’ up in th’ mornin’. Havin’ a bit of a bad time? Lemme help ya with that.”**
Now satisfied enough to actually move, the bounty scum removed himself from his perch, boots slamming into the asphalt with a seismic THUD. Crazy Jimbette was long forgotten - cast off as readily and swiftly as a kid discovering he had an even bigger present under the tree. The broad was the waifish hors d’oeuvre, whereas Cole Jimbo was a bleeding-fresh grox ribeye.
Not that the others weren’t appreciated, shifted as they were to lesser and inferior statuses. Not one rathin’ bit - Ebris Dhifi had one hell of an appetite.
Designated Hero Wrote:> "What brings a piece of space trash like you to my humble abode?"
Ebris tutted at the man with that reply, shaking his head softly and in disapproval. **”Yer a bit mistaken there, Jimbo. Yeh’ve come inta my kingdom,”** he replied, his arms spreading wide as he thudded his way over to the giant man, taking his sweet, sweet time. Some ten feet away from Cole, he stopped, and something changed in his eyes just then.
Something dangerous.
“An’, if yer comin’ ta me, ah’d recommend yeh bend th’ knee b’fore yer KING.”
Arms still splayed outward, encompassing the totality of his demesne, Ebris Dhifi waited for all of his subjects to come forth, either to prostrate themselves before him, or to try and rise up against him, the uncomprehending Jimbos they were. He’ was more than rathin’ happy to remind them of their collective places.
