Not yet knowing what to do, the man in red tights, Garah Kirjearim, wandered out further in-to the parking lot, looking for some-one to try a few of his newest moves on. When that some-one came a-long, which happened to be every-one, he started slinging oblong, explosive ki balls in-to their midst, which went up and came down, raining destruction on the parking lot, and every-body fighting in it.

Sapphira was minding her own business, trying to find a space to park so she could go get her hair done. Her mouth was agape in astonishment when a beam of light came out of no where and smashed down on the hood of her car. Smoke fumed from the vehicle and the engine whined and cackled in its struggle to function.

"Oh Hell naw...", she shouted as the door to her caddy swung open.

With her round pleasant face full of fury she stepped out, looking up through her aviator glasses up the incline of the parking Garage. She was a curiously tall woman, with a lean yet petite upperbody. She wore no bra beneath her white beater. Her legs were thick, particularly the thighs whose shapeliness and potential for terrifying strength was apparent in the denim cut offs.

Once her eyes fell upon the son of a b*h who ****** up her ride, she barked a stream of expletives.

"WHAT THE ****** DID YOU DO TO MY CAR. I'M GON' BEAT YOUR MOTHER ****' a, YOU DUMB SON OF A b***h~"

As she spoke she pointed at him with her left arm. This limb was not of flesh, like her right, but of smooth stone not unlike the concrete that surrounded them.

She took off her earrings and cast them to the side as she started towards him at a furious pace.

3Just a Kroww

His eyes widened slowly at her tirade. She may have been younger than him but she didn’t need to act like a child. Was it just an act? He wasn’t sure; Ivy had been too mobile for him to really get a feel for her and the ‘heat’ she seemed to be generating had a bloody scent to it. She was enjoying herself, well except for this bit. Maybe a bit off her rocker then. Good, that meant he didn’t need to feel so bad.

**”You’re supposed to kick me, idiot!”**

Connor held up his hands placatingly. “Whoa whoa whoa, you need to chill, princess.” A few things happened in quick succession at this time. There were multiple bangs from somewhere in the crowd and momentarily Connor turned his head away from the girl to watch her hammer blast itself into the sky, trailing smoke.

Upon maturation they detonate with enough force to send laden vehicles tumbling twenty feet or into the air fifteen. These blisters can be detonated early resulting in smaller explosions. At one post it is the equivalent of a warhammer blow and at two it can send a small car flying ten feet.

That was around the same time that Prius door came whizzing from the opposite direction, smoking and about to blindside Ivy. Not only had he planted a mine on the warhammer, just in case she tried to boomerang it back at him, Connor had also sent the parasite’s pseudopods to plant another on that discarded door, then accelerated it’s flight with a snap of the...tentacle.

Oh and...one more thing!

He felt his metaphysical senses dim when he pulled on Voss and jammed his power into the parasite. Physically it would lash out as Connor obliges Ivy and launches an angled kick at where he figured the girl’s left leg would be when the door hit her and brought her closer. With that being said, Voss’ power flared out from the writhing fangs seeking to sink their teeth into Ivy. A streak of shivering violet followed in a five foot arc in time with his attack. Ivy’s find herself chilled by the strange energy, a sapping of that building rage within her.

This was a brawl, mindless and chaotic and altogether ruthless.

Look, me and the big guy back there have some unfinished business that we never got around to settling before you cut in. So uhh...I’m just gonna go.”

Leon…did not stop playing.

Oh, he had heard the guy alright, his enhanced hearing made it so that he didn’t have much of a choice, BUT To hear him. Leon was certainly more focused on playing his guitar more than anything. Inhumanly fast fingers danced across the fretboard, electricity crackling out of the body, and literally dancing around the fretboard of the ax. However, without stopping Leon looked at the man his helmet suddenly revealing his face. It was scarred terribly on one side, clear from the eyepatch and the serious burn that seemed to be right under it, seemingly going straight down the entire left side of his face. His glowing green Iris’s surrounded by what seemed to be a black pool. The lone eye was still, locked firmly on his opponents face.

“Yeah, no. He called down the storm and that’s exactly what he’s going to get, but since it seems you want to get in the way of that…I guess the storm will have to hit you first.”

He still did not cease to play. letting the warped magnetic bubble around him clearly grow bigger, he found that strange that his opposition would simply not notice that, but he was positive even electromagnetic currents were visible to humans. Their eyes were not that weak, and it should’ve been something, a 20-foot radius to move around, 40 feet all around Good enough. He then decided he did need to rest for his next move, so he did so, he held his note, and flicked his long hair back, ruffling a bit of his white streak, as he held the long sustained note.

“A good performer cannot reveal his secrets, that will ruin the show.”

However one could see a bag hovering on the side of Leon, but suddenly unsheathe itself revealing what seemed to be Iron shards, think but quite sharp. Leon then smiled and started to play again….and then they began to glow.

The angry human flew through the air with the grace of a bird with two broken wings, over several vehicle lengths before she finally collided with the one that Tekka stood beside with a loud *WHUMP* that was immediately followed after by a quieter and much more moist SPLAT when the human landed face-first onto the asphalt screaming like a banshee. Tekka had been standing near to where the human had struck the vehicle, but a soaring human body is not something that is easily missed by even the dullest of senses when all eyes in the Parking Lot were fixated upon what had been happening with the giant and his rope-toy.

It was true that Tekka did not expect the angry human to bounce so much like rubber when she struck the vehicle, or to not bounce so very much unlike rubber when Tekka had grabbed the rebounding woman by the back of her pants partway through her second bounce and "kindly" redirected the human's momentum into the ground while stepping around the path that the bouncing buxom brunette had been bound.

The human did not get up, however. The human simply screamed hatred with the full force of her voice and spit human juices onto the ground while frothing at the mouth. Tekka was not an expert on humans, but she suspected that this human was upset she had lost the game that was being played with the giant. Tekka could empathize with this feeling, as she had often played similar games with other First who were sometimes as large or larger than the angry, pale colored human that had punched the angry, bouncing human.

Humans seemed to get very angry very often.

"There there, says Tekka. Do not give up fight after only one or two bones broken. Show courage and strength to other, until game is won."

The expression was one that Tekka had heard used by humans in consolation before. She had also noticed that a gesture often accompanied these words, and so Tekka crouched down beside the fallen woman and patted her gently on the back of the head with her left hand.

She then placed her emtpy bar glass on the ground in front of the angry woman's face and tapped it several times on the pavement, because she had her own priorities and could not spend the entire night coddling broken women who chose to curse at failure rather than strangle it.

Why was it that men always reacted to behavior they didn't like from a woman by implying she was being too emotional? Ivy almost rolled her eyes at that one. Instead, though, she put on a sweet smile, looking for all the world like a lost, bookish girl who'd just happened to wander into a battlefield. **"Aww, darling. You haven't even come close to getting me really excited-"**

A series of explosions went off, drowning out anything more she had to say. Not unexpected, given that there were lightning bolts and ki blasts going off everywhere, but this time something particularly interesting happened:

Just a Kroww Wrote:

> momentarily Connor turned his head away from the girl

A man ******** up.

It wasn't uncommon for fighters to have extraordinary senses or reaction times. Ivy herself had some incredible reflexes, which helped her respond quickly to surprise attacks and capitalize on split-second opportunities. One thing she had learned, however, was that attention mattered. Hard to say what kind of capabilities this guy had- though he'd counterattacked quickly enough when she first slammed into him -but against someone as fast as Ivy, even the slightest break in his focus represented an opening.

Quote: Wrote:

> [CANNONBALL]: > > Fires Ivy at 70 mph directly towards a chosen object or surface within 30 ft but no closer than 3 ft, and massively reduces any damage done to her by the resulting impact. 5 turn CD. If the impact is made with her head, she gains 30% BERSERK.

When something pink flew past behind her, it didn't even register. She was too busy headbutting her opponent in the face again before he could so much as turn his head back around. This time, however, her movement didn't stop there- her whole body would slam into his, knocking him off his feet and carrying them both (him first) into a nearby car, smashing the man into its door so hard that he'd be practically embedded in the resulting dent.

That was the lesson she'd been trying to teach him, with her comment on his kick. To dance with Ivy March was to give her one's full focus, or pay the price in pain. Apparently he hadn't been listening- but maybe a more hands-on curriculum would help him see. Ivy loved being a teacher!

To cook spicy, petty revenge just right, one must have patience. After having his face hammered, forcing him to call upon divine assistance to get back up, Jak took patience to heart. He stalked out of the lime light as quiet as a leopard. As the parking lot shuddered and whirled, sparked and exploded, giving way to chaos as fighters brawled, changed partners, and brawled some more, Jak took to the sidelines.

First, he had some of that space hamster. It turned out to be the perfect fix. It healed his jaw and dampened the swelling. There's still a dark and purple bruise around the right side of his mouth, but now he was capable of intelligible speech. Then he got some poorly brewed street beers. There wasn't any good reason for the alcohol other than to quench his parch throat. It's no where near enough to quench the roiling storm inside of him.

This storm was a mix of angers with some personality. It was special. It was malicious and determined. It felt all too close and personal. All too alive. It reminded Jak of darker times. And as Jak moved in and out of the crowd of onlookers, in and out between various vehicles while masking his presence, he poked and prodded at this strange build up of a volatile persona inside of him.

*Who are you?

I am the part of you that is undying. I am the true Jotun. Desperate. Hungry.

What do you want?

Freedom. Destruction.*

Something new had bloomed inside of him. Perhaps it manifested due to Rwanda's resuscitation via mystical lightning bolt. Or maybe it was always there, dormant, waiting for Jak to realize there's more to him than just flesh and weaponry. It, she, wanted out. And who was Jak to keep her from having a crack at life? He deemed it necessary to call this persona something intimate. He named her Kova. The two of them would have a chance to get to know each other quite soon.

Because Jak's back in the fight waiting for the perfect moment to dish out a worthwhile revenge. He stored away his behemoth axe and bear pelt for greater stealth. He took off his shirt, too, becoming bare chested as part of the hunt. He hid between a Jeep Wrangler and a Chevy SUV, stayed down south of the wind, and had slowed his breathing, too. He listened, ignoring all the unnecessary noise. He watched, peeking through the windshields. He stayed near, very near, to the person who had stolen his prey's attention. A lifetime of hunting and tracking came to play when the perfect moment to spring his ambush arrived.

And sweater girl was a great teacher indeed! Jak had learned so much from their first meeting. It would only be fair if he paid her back in exchange. In fact, they wouldn't be square until he gave her everything she wanted and more. So he jumped out from his hiding spot, revealing himself as the bookish girl careened at the tentacle fellow (Wait, didn't Jak meet this guy before?). He landed on his right foot quite oddly. His left foot stayed elevated before stomping hard on the pavement.

This wasn't him dancing or making a fool.

This was him conjuring Kova into action.

By stomping his foot in the direction of his target, Kova manifests at full height to answer his request. Most of her will be intangible sans the leg. She can reach as far as 10 feet to flatten the person or object of Jak’s ire. Her boot size is more than enough to cover a man’s torso while shattering ribs and more. The stomp can come straight down or at an angle going forward or to the side, like a low kick.

Kova and all 17.5 feet of her loomed over Jak, rocket girl, and tentacle man. She's a bluish spiritual construct that's semi-intangible depending on the task. She also looks like teen Jakova who was scrawny, willowy, and malnourished back then. But that matters little when she's slamming down her foot simultaneous with Jak's foot, aiming to hit behind the head, shoulders, and back of rocket girl. The spirit giantess synced it perfectly to squish the girl as she was bowling into Tentacle Man.

THOOOOM!

The pavement broke asunder beneath the giantess and her victim(s). The parking lot rumbled. Nearby cars rocked and heaved as their suspensions whined. Kova stood mighty as she started to fade the moment her task was completed.

“She's a wily one. Thanks for holding her attention.”

Athan cupped his hand to his ear and squinted his eyes in a combination of attempts to both hear a little better and read the stranger’s horribly scarred lips through the helmet visor at the same time.

”COME AGAIN?!”

Raising his voice but not really yelling, Athan just wanted to get his message across that he couldn’t really hear a thing the man was saying over his sick riffs. Athan paused for a second, the strange man flicked his hair back as he held a chord, and Athan just stared in silence.

“A good performer cannot reveal his secrets, that will ruin the show.”

”Okay...well-”

Leon picked up his guitar-ing again, this time some metal started floating around him, coalescing into what looked to be a very sharp and very large piece of metal. Athan jerked his thumb back over his shoulder with one hand and cupped his mouth with the other to make sure he was heard this time.

”OKAY WELL I’M GONNA GO BACK TO FIGHTING THAT BIG GUY OVER THERE. YOU INTERRUPTED US EARLIER AND I STILL KINDA WANT TO CAVE HIS FACE IN SO…BYE.”

And Athan turned to leave. Kind of unfortunate that his pivot coincided with the metal shard's individual pieces exploding outwards. A baker’s dozen worth of the things ripped into Athan's left arm and upper back, one or two clipping off the back of his neck and leaving a nice thin red line above his shoulders at the neckline. Underneath his shirt a good section of his upper arm probably looked like hamburger.

It took some time to process it at first. All Athan felt to begin with was heat. Then a sharp stabbing sensation, like he had just fallen into a bed of razors. Were the guy not built like a tank and packed full of dense muscle tissue, he probably would have had to look for a second magic arm to complement his first. Athan sucked in tightly on his teeth as the shock wore off and the pain set in.

”Alright. ******** it.”

Athan’s fully armored right hand reached to grab one of the more superficial pieces of metal that Leon had launched at him, wrapping his gigantic fingers around the sharp metal as though it were a cotton ball. With a grunt, Athan ripped the metal out of his arm, a small stream of blood free to run down the appendage now that the dam had been removed.

Still holding onto the magnetized(?) piece of metal with his armored hand, Athan began to stomp in the direction of Leon. The bloodied left hand clenched into a tightly balled fist to match his right hand, which had already balled up the thin piece of iron.

”You’re the warmup.”

As with everything going on, it all happened quickly. The brawl required razor-sharp focus or else you’d get flattened. He had hoped this would be the case with Ivy when he had turned his head at the ‘bang’ he himself had detonated on the hammer and door but damn the girl was quick.

She shot forward, the door whizzed past narrowly missing the both of them and the air tingles with a ‘presence’ slamming down to drive Connor and Ivy into the ground and the...bubbling ichor/blood at his feet?

Jak could not have picked a better moment to strike. Had he a moment to contemplate the succession of attacks Connor would have complemented the Jotun. As things stood he and Ivy had a face to face with the third blister Connor had planted and left maturing.

THOOOM! went Kova’s foot on the duo.

KRA-KOOOM!! went the matured blister detonating, too swollen to sustain itself any longer and beyond Connor’s control. With enough force to send a truck fifteen feet up the explosion rattled teeth, cracked ribs, snapped an arm an blasted Connor up, out and through the driver seat of certain pink Prius missing a door. Combined with the shockwave of Kova’s stomp who knew what kind of damage this was doing to the arena?

What kind of madman plants a bomb at his own feet? The kind that apparently hated car doors as his smoking body tore the passenger door off it’s hinges and skidded on the door across the battlefield to strike or spare the bowling pins that combatants in the Parking Lot had suddenly become.

A woman named Sapphira whose car got destroyed by a ball of light ran at a xeno-evolutionary terrestrial ascendant, a twenty-nine-year-old man by the name of Garah Kirjearim, a test subject having yet to reach his true potential. The man, who wore golden greaves, crotch and buttock protection and black shoulder, arm and hand plates, drew his sword, a clay-more with a cruciform hilt, from a faded purple capsule strapped to his back.

What the eye-brow-less spook lacked in size and body composition he made up for in speed. Switching to an under-handed grip on his sword, he slashed up-ward, attempting to come over Sapphira's stone left arm and cut a few pieces of hair off as a warning strike.

Magic flowed through the X.E.T.A.'s body, tethering his sword to his right hand in case Sapphira attempted to knock it out of his grasp.

Kirjearim's affront proved to be straight-for-ward enough, although his defense left his muscular thorax open to assault. By leading with the right side of his body, he protected him-self from attack with his arm armor.

At this point everything was going everywhere. There were rock offs, and socks off, and ki-shots lost to this chaotic spot. One of the blasts came rampaging at V who slowly stepped to the left, avoiding it and trying to pass off the Hamster on Stick (tm) to some old man who was just trying to get to his car. The old geezer, using a cane slowly tapped his way forward, not quite blind but out of his element here it seemed. He had a mouth for this place though.

"Wat, I say wat in tarnation are you ruffians doin' fightin' an smitin' each 'thers head in for? It's like this e'ery few years. You c'me 'ere and start doin' this newfangled form of vi-o-lance like some kind o' orgy."

The old codger would continue to rant shaking his cane at different people and would occasionally knock a few onlookers in the back of the knees for good measure. Stopping by the bar out of the back of a pick up truck he would throw a few gold nuggets at Minion before taking the bottle of whatever he was trying to pawn off as booze. Things weren't the same any more. You had all these fighters that had so many abilities when all you really needed was one good one and a cane to bash peoples skulls in.

Minion on the other hand sat looking at the gold with his now recovered arm as Baa, the small hamster twittered away at him as if the gold was important to it some how. The young man still had his lucha mask on and be bit down on the gold trying to make sure it was real, but ended up swallowing it.

A car door careened past V, past Minion, and past the old man who didn't seem put off by it at all as he took a drink of the swill the kid was trying to sell. It was vile.

He just stumbled backward, landing and slumping onto the bench at the bus stop. Removing his glasses, he rubbed his noise and refocused his eyes, taking in the strange effect the growing magnetic field was having on the area. He let out a loud sigh and hissed through his teeth, returning the lenses to his face.

The alien’s stance changed, now he was holding the guitar like it was an axe. Upon closer inspection Athan recognized that the instrument indeed did double as a semi-proper melee weapon. Shame, then, that Athan had left his dancing shoes back in the truck. The heavy-as-hell greatsword sitting shotgun in the pickup acting as the only partner Athan had for the past few years. In spite of being unarmed, Athan’s advance didn’t halt as he moved to cover that fifteen feet in between himself and Leon. A hint of a smile popped up at the corner of his mouth as the thought of getting his hands on the twerp crept into his mind. Athan’s hands began to clench and unclench, fingers practicing the movements they’d need to utilize if he was able to get in close enough.

Serendipity!

A car door and a man went skidding right in front of Athan, as though his lament of not having a weapon had reached the Heavens and was answered. Athan’s right foot stomped down on the car door’s back corner, creating a brief shower of sparks and then stopping the momentum outright. Whether or not the man riding the car door continued to slide was irrelevant at this point. If he was still on the door, Athan would pick the man up by the clothing on the back of his shoulders as though he were a common house cat before setting him down on his feet, upright and unharmed, to scurry back to whatever fight he had been a part of. If the man kept going, well...whatever.

The car door was Athan’s main prize. While he’d managed to successfully fight armed enemies without weaponry of his own in the past, it definitely didn’t hurt to have some extra protection on hand. As Athan knelt down he grasped the inner handle of the car door with his left hand and hoisted the heavy object up to use it as a tower shield of sorts. While Athan was more than physically capable of carrying such a thing with one arm on a good day, the shards of metal digging into his arm certainly weren’t making the process a comfortable one as his muscles flexed and coiled to accommodate the new weight they were forced to bear.

With a grimace Athan dropped into a little bit of a crouch, knowing full well the lightning this joker was capable of spewing. Then, from the crouch, Athan erupted into a sprint. Keeping himself as low to the ground as possible, the six foot eight behemoth threatened to use the front side of the car door as a sled, plowing into and carrying Leon directly into a parked SUV right behind him. Then it would be a simple matter to use Athan’s own bulk to squeeze just enough air of the alien until he wasn’t really a threat anymore. Not necessarily DEAD, just...uncomfortably unconscious.

Ivy was taken quite by surprise when a huge, hard something slammed down on her from above, knocking her into her original target even harder than she'd intended and knocking the wind out of her besides. A bright thrill lit up in her eyes, even as she was painfully squashed downwards. Of course! This was a brawl, not a fight- everyone got to play together. Perhaps it was time she cut loose a little more, started aiming for some of the other players...

Before she could fully consider this thought, however, everything exploded.

At this range, having just been pinned down from above, there was no time to escape. No room to duck away. Ivy took the blast full-on. Instinctively, she went limp as it struck her, making no effort to resist as the force of the explosion flung her away like a ragdoll.

A little too much like a ragdoll, even.

In Connor's case, the energy of the explosion did two things: broke his bones and sent him flying. In Ivy's case, it only sent her flying- but much, much faster.

There was a second blast somewhere in the wake of the first one, as her rocket boots went off. Even as she hurtled away, Ivy had the presence of mind to shoot herself upwards, so that she flew over the gathered cars rather than into them. Thus airborne, there was nothing to stop her- leaving momentum free to carry her far, far away from the parking lot.

A lashing tongue of red darted out from Ivy as she flew, snagging her hammer and yanking it off after her.
