Moonblade cupped a hand under his chin. "Aaaaah?" If Rance expected the magus to be shocked or upset as the illusionary performance was obliterated, he would be sorely disappointed. Not only was his performance broadcast sufficiently from another location, but his would-be foe had given away a critical piece of information about himself. Needless to say, he would was at least momentarily interested.
Unfortunately, whatever advantage he had garnered would be short lived as Omi's banter caught his attention with the mention of his name. He shot a glance at his vice captain just quickly enough to see the horrendous cup leave his grasp. Not unlike a cat caught in a full bathtub, Ammiel kicked off the ground to the side away from the cup. While he didn't travel particularly far, his aerial speed was far higher than one might expect. As an added measure, the only giblets of putrid liquid that were able to reach him would be stopped dead in their tracks as Moonblade desperately rose his left forearm in defense. With the sound of reverberating glass, the invisible ward around his forearm was shattered and his dignity left in tact.
Those well versed in the arcane arts would probably note the high excess in magic used to avoid this harmless (albeit disgusting) friendly fire. "Confound it, Omi!"
Ryugi Kazamaru Wrote:> "Get a load of this. Some captain. Doesn't even know his own team from the folks that are about to hand him the entirety of his stuck up a." He lifted the huge sword from his shoulder to level it at the pair of enemy combatants. "We're Team Smash and Sass, and I assume you ****** are the guys we get to smash. Good. I couldn't care less about you beyond that." He then turned to Moonblade specifically, gave him a once over, and narrowed his eyes. "And you, Wand Jockey, you're mine. I'm gonna take that hat and shove it so far up your scrawny caster a** you'll be coughing up feathers." He smirked widely, baring his teeth. "Just do me a favor and try to make it interesting."
There was a grin as the man pushed his glasses above the bridge of his nose with a finger."Oh ho, a tough guy! Praytell, you didn't strain yourself too hard thinking of that one? I know that your ilk finds it hard to string together too many syllables at once."

With a bow and a flourish of his cloak, Ammiel continued. "You must be Vance. I, Ammiel Moonblade, will take you up on your offer to Dance. ~♪" His jovial facade dropped for a moment, lending a rare monotone moment of seriousness, pointing into the bowels of the dilapidated factory. "Over there. To be clear, I don't want those idiots getting in the way." The abrupt change would be rather jarring to most people unfamiliar with the man. It was almost certain that the audience was already fixated on the ensuing fight and not on their banter; there was no point to the showmanship if no one of consequence was paying attention.
HonoRaven Wrote:> The change of costume was instantaneous, and totally superfluous... but the new outfit screamed Sexy, loud and clear. "I think my date has arrived." With a wicked little smile she stepped back around the slime, stood on tiptoe, and with a wicked little smile kissed him on the cheek. "For luck!"
Moonblade shrugged, throwing up his hands with a judgmental head shake and smirk as the woman wandered off. "Ever the harlot, that one." Raising a hand to his mouth, he called after her. "TRY NOT TO GET KILLED ON YOUR FIRST DATE; GETTING CARDED WOULD BE INCONVENIENT!"

There's stockpiles of liquid beyond gasoline. There's enough concentrated sodium and iron to raze our corpses fifteen times over!! There's untold thousands of these nightmares around us. Only I have the ambition to actuate this into my will and disregard those consequences. That's right. Heheh..
