Leviathan Island

Quite a few miles away from Gambino Island, surrounded by a large barrier reef, there exists a large crag of rock with a small peninsula beach only a few hundred feet long to one side of it. Close up it seems to look like a temple of sorts with an opening at the base and a large window up near the top of the few hundred foot high outcrop.

This is the Leviathan Temple on Leviathan Island. This island is a sacred place used to protect and honour the leviathans that dwell in and around the island. The beach is white with very fine sand and a few shells scattered here and there as well as some rocks. The closer the beach gets to the opening, the larger and more frequent the rocks become. At the base of the outcropping where the entrance is there is a large arch flanked by four obelisks. All around the obelisks and around the arch are carvings in an indestiquishable language.

Once inside the large archway, one is met with a beautiful, flowing hall. The walls, archways, threshholds and pillars inside are smooth and seem as if they were carved straight from the rock the temple is inside. All of the architecture inside is somewhat rounded and fluid as if water is part of the stone as well. A red carpet runs down the middle of the hall to a grand staircase that leads to the next floor. Following down the red carpet on both sides are very articulate pillars that have beautiful designs and symbols carved around them. Along the walls are four doors, two on each wall that lead to hidden parts of the temple.

Up the grand staircase is the second floor: The "hospital" and guest rooms. There are ten rooms in all, each the size of a nice hotel suite. Each has a nice bathroom with running hot water. The beds are all queen sized and are lavishly soft. The hospitol, which is more of an infirmary, is fully stocked with medication, sterilized needles and anything else a doctor may need.

Up to the next floor is the dining room. There are two twenty foot long tables, both with two triple candlestick holders on them. The tables are mohogany wood covoured by a silk table cloth. Next to the dining room, seperated only by a couple pillars, is the massive ballroom. A large, extravagant chandelire hangs from the ceiling and casts a soft, romantic glow on the walls and floor. On the other side of the dining room, connected by a simple swinging wooden door is a kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils, appliances, and enough food stocks to last over 5 years.

The forth floor is a gigantic library willed with literally millions of books. The dozens and dozens of ten-foot tall isles each have a rolling ladder to get access to the books which come in all sizes and languages. Many of the books seem to be written in the same language as is written on the temple entrance. Hidden within the maze of isles is a simple wooden staircase that leads to the last floor.

Once at the top of the wooden staircase, there is a simple hallway. Along the right wall is two wooden doors, another on the left wall, and at the far end of the hall is a set of very intracately carved wooden double-doors. Upon entering the double doors, one is greeted with a large dome and the soft feel of the sea breeze upon their skin. There is a large bed in the middle with a small, simple desk off to the left side. Upon the desk is a pen, some paper, a few books, and a crystal box. On the left wall is a average looking dresser with three drawers, obviously for holding clothes. There are two doors along the left wall. One seems to go to a closet, but the other is unknown. One wall is almost completely gone, replaced by an opening that serves as a window. The gentle sounds of the sea, as well as the sea breeze waifts in through this opening and one can see almost to Gambino Island from it. From atop this dome, one can also see the surrounding coral reef and sometiems leviathans as they swim about under the water.

This island's main purpose is to offer leviathans safe haven from poachers and sensless killers. If any harsh being were to come here, they would not hesitate to attack them, and Enki Leviathan guards the entire island and the elegant creatures with his life.

This island has many protectors who have promised to guard it and keep it safe. The mighty leviathans are the main protectors of this offshore haven.

These creatures live in the secluded depths and have had many tales and myths told about them. To sailors, they are told to have caused almost every shipwreck that every happened. The curly sea-monster drawn on old globes and maps is the Leviathan. In Judeo-Catholicism, the Leviathan wreaked havoc and chaos and almost had as much power as God himself... so God had to kill it. "Job 3:8 - Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to rouse Leviathan;" There are also similar stories in Hinduism and Norse mythology.

In reality, Leviathans are very intelligent and kind, as well as aquatically agile and very beautiful creatures. They will never attack another animal unless it feels threatened or it needs food. Leviathans are also very cautious creatures, shunning away from others species of animals. After watching over them for centuries, their numbers have slowly gone back up, and now I am offering people of Gaia to breed and care for these wonderful creatures.

Along with the Leviathans is an extremely rare FumaKawa Felldrake.

The FumaKawa is, as his name implies, a river spirit. Equally at home in water and air, he is a reclusive creature, spending more time in the elemental planes than the material. This felldrake has two breath weapons, a wave of water and a line of electricity.

There is also an Aquatic Felldrake guarding over the island. Despite Aquatic Felldrakes natural shunning from Leviathans, this one seems to get along just fine with the creatures.

The only species of Felldrake that is native to the water. Although it can breath air, it rares rises from the surface, prefering to remain in the secluded depths. For this reason they are rarely seen by surface dwellers, although it is a common appearance around the dwellings of the aquatic elves, with which this dragon has a peaceful and beneficial co-existance.

This felldrake's breath weapon is a jet of electrically charged water that not only damages but paralyzes the target. Although the dragon is no pushover, it has learned from experience to avoid leviathans, giants, and large dragons (especially those of the evil allignment.)

*Walks through the portal from the stadium with his daughter, Juunikyu, in his arms. He walks upstairs slowly, carrying the small girl close to his chest. Once upstairs, he pushes open the door and walks into the room, setting Juuni onto the big fluffy bed*

***Pulls off his trenchcoat and puts it on a chair. He then slowly slides into the bed. He holds Juuni close to him and smiles softly, pulling the covers over them*

And I love you too, Juuni... I'm so glad you're my daughter. Goodnight hunny**

Eventually Juuni decided it would probably be better to get up and do something with her day. Pushing the thick duvet aside she rolled out of the bed and yawned as she tottered over to the wardrobe, pulling open one of the drawers and rummaging through it to find some of her clothes that she had left here previously.

After slipping on the clothes she stretched and walked down the many flights of stairs towards the portal to take her to the Arena.

*Enki was sitting there, reading a random books he picked off the shelf when he hears the small voice in the room with him. He closes the book and makes his way around the shelves, searching for the source of the voice*

***Enki rounds a corner and sees the small catgirl looking at the books, seemingly having a hard time reading them. He kneels down beside her and smiles a bit*

Looking for something, Juunish?**

***Enki smiles and looks up at all of them, picking his daughter up in his arms and holding her to his chest*

Yes I have... I've ready every book in this whole library, even the Altantian ones**

***Enki looks down at her and smiles, then kisses the top of her head*

At-lant-ian. It's the people I used to live with... I was a very important figure in their culture. They spoke a very beautiful, exotic language that looks as beautiful as it sounded... now their culture is all but dead except for me...**

***He smiles down at his daughter*

I know more then just two, hunny. You know, people who travel the world need to know other languages for different countries... your brother, Alex, actually knows quite a few himself**

That's two languages right there... and I'll teach you Atlantian. I would like my daughter to be able to speak my native language. I'm sure Alex would be willing to teach you a language as well, but he's off.... somewhere or other.... that boy loves the open roads...

***He smiles again, confident in his daughter, especially considering she kinda has an angel living inside of her*

*Smiles and kisses the top of her head gently*

Juuni yawned and stirred quietly beneath the sheets, sliding away from her Papa and out of the bed. Rubbing her eyes the small neko stretched out slowly before fumbling around to find her clothes which appeared to have formed a new outfit over night. Finally ready she crept down stairs quietly so as not to wake her father and into the portal to take her back to the mainland.

It wasn't but a few hours later, that she tired of waiting as well as beginning to get tired of fighting with herself over what to do. Standing up, she placed the the book back where it was before walking over and taking a piece of paper and writing a simple note in elegant handwriting in Atlantian.

Papa,

I was here, but not quite able to face you just yet. Please forgive me. I'll talk to you later

Tellus Jade Leviathan

She then walked down the flights of stairs to the gate and slipped through the portal back to the arena.

Finally she found it, the portal to what had once been her home. It hadn't been many days since she had last been here, but so much had changed, her memories were completely haywire and it was as if she was looking at something for the very first time. Her hand glided over the various stones and items in the once temple as tears spilled down her pale face. Her body was more curvacious as before but she was still too skinny espcially not having eaten anything substantial since before the last time she was here. She didn't remember much anymore but she knew if he was anywhere close by but the arena it would be here. Slowly, tremoulously as well as shaky from her nerves she called out as she climbed the stairs. "Papa"

Slowly, she continued climbing the stair calling out his name, not even sure if she would remember his face but desperate to try. The tears merely hovered at the edges of her eyes.

"Papa"

She searched every floor till she came to the staircase that led to the last floor. Taking a deep breathe, Tellus pushed her hair behind her shoulders and went up the stair and turned towards the room that Enki and Faeriun had shared when she was younger. She tapped softly on the door. Why was it she could remember the door to this room when everything else was unclear.

"Papa...it's Tellus"

Tellus slowly pushed the door open and walked into the room hestitantly, a small uncertain smile on her face. Quietly she closes the door behind her and stands there for a moment before looking at Enki. She sees the long blue hair the same shade as her own and smiles warmly. This was her papa. But she is still uncertain as to her reception so doesn't do what she wants to and instead of running and wrapping her arms around him like she would have unhestitantly in the past waits letting him look at her while she looks at him.

"Hello Papa"

Unshed tears hover on her brillant green eyes as she took in the sight of him. Her face less round than it had been before on a body that was more womanly than girlish now. So much had changed about her since Tellus had last seen him. Still she wore body hugging clothing like always but it was with a quiet diginity now instead of a careless youth. She had grown up but in so many ways was the lost little girl who wanted her papa's comfort.

As soon as he touched her, she crumbled. Her arms stretched and wrapped around him. Pressing her face close to his chest, she let the tears fall. "I've missed you so much, Papa" A deep breathe as she inhaled the sweet, familiar scent of the ocean that always seemed to cling to him.

"So much has happened"

She looked back up at Enki, her bright green eyes smiling even through the tears. A small squeek of a hiccup slipped from her lips as she tried to get out the words. "I may have also forgotten to mention you are a grandfather now" as a few more giggles came out. Night had mentioned telling him about Lucian but she doubted he had the chance to mention the twins.

Another giggle before nuzzling his shirt again. She then looked at him as her hand reached up to dry her tears. "Twice over actually..." Tellus smiled broadly "Twins...a boy and a girl" This was going to be hard to explain, since she didn't really know even where to start.

At Enki's question, Tellus turns a bright red, in contrast to her watery blue hair. "I don't remember..." She released him and began to fidget with her sweater for a moment before looking up at him. He deserved the truth, but something was bothering her, like he wasn't going to be happy about the news, but she couldn't remember if Enki had ever liked Tomorrow or not. "Tomorrow sorta fried my memories a few days ago and it's sorta in pieces right now"

Nodding slowly as she looked up at him, her fingers fidgetting even more with the hem of her sweater. "I was sorta out of it" knowing somehow that he would know that she meant when the heart took over. "I blink, he is leaning over to kiss me for some reason and then felt a surge of electricity surge through my body...then nothing...no faces, no memories hardly at all" She straightened her petite body up as she looked at him.

"Sun helped place most of them back...but I'm still having some problems"

Tellus nodded, then moved out of his way and headed over to the door. "I'm not really sure why I'm here, it just felt like the thing to do" THen she stopped and slipped a small metal case from her pocket and handed it to him. Inside were pictures of two almost newborn children, both with a rich red brown hair that was almost too dark to be brown and not black. But it was the eyes that captured the attention. The girls was a bright green much like Tellus' and the boys was a brillant silver. They were beautiful children and would obviously grow up to be beautiful people.

"James Andrew and Gabrielle Rose"

Tellus sighed as she slipped the pictures back into her pocket. "I'd love to tell you what I've done, what I've seen...But I only wish I knew myself. The only strong memory I have is of this place and of Levkit"

The smile broadened and suddenly she flung herself at him and wrapped her arms around his waist and held to him for a moment. "Thank you, Papa" It perhaps wouldn't make much sense but his quiet acceptance was what she needed to hear from him.

She nodded slowly and looked up at him. "Thanks papa" Squeezing her arms around him once more before letting go and back ing a step away. "I need to go get some things, then get back to the twins, I'll come back and talk again" Smiling once before opening the door and heading down the stairs feeling a bit better but still feeling the need to relax a bit more.

Juuni woke with a start in unusual surroundings. She kicked off the duvet and scrambled out of the bed she had been placed in, ears pricked and alert as her tail stiffened. Her eyes hazed from purple to red, to blue and back to purple as she gave a pitiful mew and fell to her knees clutching her head as images flashed before her eyes, memories of the recent days events all falling into place.

It felt as if someone was prying about in her mind, vicously going over every aspect in her life. As she lifted her face her vision was obscured by tears though they flashed a bright purple and in that instant Juunikyuu took control of the body, forcing the neko-jin to her feet and staggering down the hall to find the portal to the Stadium. She couldn't stay here. Not like this.

*Enki closes the book and sits down in the sand, looking out over the calm ocean sea. He takes in a deep breath, then slowly lets it out in a soft sigh, the breath turning into steam from the cool night air*

A fiddler crab sidles by past Enki's feet, with its two large clippers raised up over its head so as not to bump the joints in its legs as it walked.

Juuni arrived on the island through the portal in a small haze of purple sparkles and she paused, her tail swishing slowly behind her as her ears flickered at the soft roar of the ocean and in turn her nose twitched at the oddly comforting sea salt smell that filled the air.

The beach. That's where Juuni would go. It had been far to long since she'd seen the Leviathan's dance in the water. And so, with fairy companion in tow a little way behind her the neko-jin made her way out onto the sandy beach, giggling happily at the feeling of the sand between her toes as she skipped further down the beach, closer to the waters edge.

A figure a little further down the beah made the neko-jin pause. She cocked her head to the side and her eyes widened as recognition dawned upon her, making her heart flutter.

"Papa..." the tiny girl whispered before walking towards him, one hand outstretched towards him.

"Papa!"

A large smile spread over Juuni's face and she began running towards her father, sand spraying up behind her as Po fought to keep up, eventually diving underneath Juuni's hat and leaning against one of her ears to enjoy the ride.

Once she was in distance Juuni literally leapt into her father's arms, wrapping her own arms around his neck and nuzzling up against his neck purring madly.

"Papa..."

"Juunish did miss her Papa..." the neko-jin spoke into her Papa's neck, "But Juunish all better now and wants to stay with Papa..."

The neko continued to purr, nestling against her father and once he was holding her a hand slipped down to grasp a handful of his top in her tiny fist as if not wanting to let him go again.

Juuni's tail swayed slowly behind her as she purred contently, nuzzling her cheek against Enki's chest gently as she yawned softly.

"Chu always be Juunish Papa..."

"Juunish a lil bit tired Papa..." the toddler yawned.

"Yeap!" Juuni replied with a nod, "Her name ish Po, and I rescued her from the birds at the Stadium"

The neko-jin nuzzled in closer to her father and blinked at the ocean as she peered over his shoulder.

((I doubt she ever will She kinda goes from place to place, it varies where she sleeps... Though at Nedy's she slept in the bed with her too ))

Juuni whimpered and twisted a little in her sleep, nightmares plagued her though her sleep was deep. Cowering slightly she edged closer to her father's side, her breathing eratic and her eyes flickered beneath their lids.

Suddenly, Chris appeared in her vision, brandishig the knife against her neck as he had done n the previous occassion and no matter how hard she tried Juuni could not get away. With a smirk and one fast movement the knife slit her throat and with a choked back gasp Juuni woke with a start, her ears prciked and alert while the fur on her tail bristled.

Po had woken when Juuni had sat up, rubbing her eyes and drifting up from the top of the pillow she had been sleeping on, her dust drifting in a static ball around her, a very faint trail behind her as she landed on the neko's shoulder and eyed her curiously.

Juuni blinked as her father moved beside her and gratefuly went into his arms, nuzzling up against his chest, his familiar scent comforting the small toddler as she fiddled with the hem of her shirt.

"Bad man hurted Juunish... Only before she hurted him..." she explained forgetting that Enki knew next to nothing of the neko's encounters with Chris.

(( giggles))

"But... But..." the neko still seemed distressed as her ears flickered, attempting to pick up any unusual sounds, "Juunish has to stop the bad man cause he hurt Nedy-Mama and Winter-chan and Rave-sama... He's a very bad man..."

The neko looked up at her father with pleading eyes.

"Can we ish go the Stadium Papa?"

Kana came through the portal into the Temple. She had not been to the island in many years. The place had been like her first home, and it held too many memories. However, she had no choice now. Not only was this the only place she could turn to, but she also need to find Enki.

But first, she would rest. Not willingly, she was on the verge of passing out. Her back hit the wall next to the portal and she slid to the ground. Here would be just fine for now. Kana sank into darkness, clutching the orb Unsane had given her in one hand.

Kana woke with a start, panting softly. As she started to calm down, she noticed that she was no longer by the portal, but in Enki's room. "Murr... Enki?" Unsane had given her a message to deliver.

"Nothin good about it... we have a problem..." She sighed softly, tossing the blue orb that Unsane had given her up and catching it as it came back down. "Unsane asked me to deliver a message to the world... after he tortured me and left me in a bloody mess..."

"Wants everyone to know that the Esthell Empire will rise from it's ashes..." She looked at Enki. "He was planning something destructive not too long ago, dunno if anyone else knows about it... But Efreet knew when he was within me... Unsane tried to use me for his plans..." She paused before continuing. "His plans failed... and it's obvious that he has new plans now..."

"I don't think he plans on destroying it anymore... I think he's just going to wreak havoc or something... But I'll let you know details as soon as I hunt his a** down..." At that point Kana slid out of the bed, standing and looking at Enki. "Thanks... for letting me stay..."

"Thanks for the offer... but there are too many memories here..." She started towards the door. "I'll let Vahn know about our problem... and then I'll be leaving to hunt Frosty down..."

"One more thing before I go... Keep an eye on the sky ring... Frosty likes it up there..." She turned back to smile at him. "See ya later..." With that, she was out the door and gone.

Juuni sat out on a rock amongst the sands of the beach, staring almost blankly out to sea. Though the Leviathans sang and played in the surf the neko-jin didn't seem to mention them, and with good reason too.

Deep within her subconcious Juunikyuu was contemplating. Many worrying rumours had come whispering to the Angel Senshi over the winds, involving a certain male and serial attacks on females close to the neko and senshi's heart. Chris.

The Senshi frowned. The light rune she still had placed on Chris' finger tip bone had grown weaker and she had had trouble tracking his movements. These attacks were the final straw. She knew it had been him, it could only be him.

It was time to finish this.

In a flurry of cocooning feathers the Senshi emerged, stretching up high while stood on the rock, her wings stretching out far and with a mighty kick off she fell up over the islands cliffs and temple, following what weak signal the light rune had left.

Night had fallen by the time the Senshi's sobs had lessened, her eyes red and sore from crying salty tears and her throat dry. She sniffed and lifted her head skywards, blinking up at the twinkling stars that were scattered like glittering gems over a sea of deep purple velvet. Lifting her hands up from the sand and sitting back, kneeling in the sand with her legs tucked beneath her the Senshi let out a long, shuddering sigh as the nights chill crept over her skin causing it to pimple with cold.

"Why did this have to happen?"

The senshi spoke up at the stars, almost questioning them. She didn't expect ban answer, so at least she wasn't disappointed when the only thing she heard was the solo calling of a deep sea leviathan that had come to the surface for air. Juunikyuu took a deep breath and hung her head again, her hair falling over her face.

"I can't keep going on like this. I can't keep letting those I love get hurt... Get taken away from me... I can't keep putting on this brave face, can I little one?"

Juuni didn't stir within the Senshi's mind, she had long since cried herself to sleep. Juunikyuu sighed and continued to gaze up at the stars.

"Are you watching me from up there Koten?" she whispered, "Can you see me now? I bet you're laughing, from wherever you are. Laughing because I've become exactly what you said I would..."

You'll become weak! Just like those humans you adore so much! And when you do, I'll sit and I'll laugh at how pitiful you are and watch as you can't protect those around you or those you care about! I will watch you fail!

A shiver ran up Juunikyuu's spine as she recalled the harsh words Koten had spat at her as he had tossed her down into that dark pit. That dark pit that had made Juunikyuu live out all her worst fears while the high council had decided what to do with her. And yet, nothing that she had seen in those dark confines had ever felt like this. She had never felt so helpless, so pathetic... So alone...

She had never felt such hurt.

"Failed... Have I truly failed? Was Koten right...?"

A spark flashed across the senshi's eyes as she lifted her head up towards the sky, the pale moonlight basking her face in a gentle tone, but that tone did not match her expression. Her face held a deep anger, almost like it had been fighting to get out and finally released. Her eyes flamed dangerously as the sand surrounding her began to shake and tremble in ripples.

"No. I did not fail. I have not failed!"

The stars began to twinkle brighter in the sky, almost as if they were whispering aprehension to one another as a breeze blew up around Juunikyuu in a swirl, slowly getting stronger as it picked up the sand and rustled her matted hair and tattered black tunic.

"I'll grow stronger! I'll protect them and avenge those I failed to protect!"

The wind blew away in a sudden explosion of purple flames around the Senshi, tendrils of shimmering energy snaking out in the sand surrounding her, forming intricate runes on the sands surface as if some invisable being was drawing them in with a painted stick. They traced a circle around the Senshi of twelve runes in total.

There was a hushed whisper that fell across the beach. Everything seemed to stand still as the runes glowed brightly like a roaring fire, the flames surrounding the Senshi burnt away her black tunic and cleansing her skin and hair of dirt, effectively stripping away the first few layers of skin. The Senshi screwed her eyes shut as two crosses her burnt into her skin on each shoulder blade as if someone had stamped them in with a branding iron. The skin sizzled and hissed, oozing blood in two thin trails down her back and onto the sande.

"Ha... Ha..."

Juunikyuu panted, her eyes wild and flaming with a thick purple mist as she reopened them. As if on some silent command, each of the twelve runes exploded with a beam of energy that was sent soaring upwards, connecting the ground with the heaven for just a few seconds as the stars energy used the beams like lightening would with a conductor, sending wave after wave of their throbbing raw energy down into the sand which was absorbed by the Senshi's skin.

Juunikyuu's body would feel on fire as the energy coursed through her veins, engulfing and taking over every cell in her body. Her screams echoed over the beach as the beams retracted back into the sand and were in turn absorbed by the flames of energy surrounding the Senshi, the runes disappearing.

With the runes gone and the stars energy absorbed the flames surrounding Juunikyuu died away and she tettered to the left before falling onto her side, her naked body bathed in sweat, hightlight by the moonlight with her chest rising and falling heaving as she panted. The two branded crosses on her back shone raw in the light, though the blood they oozed was no longer a deep crimson red but a shimmering silver.

"Become like... the life giving... stars..."

The Senshi rolled onto her back, a soft sheet of silver sparks forming over her naked form to create a simple white tunic in order for her to preserve her dignity as she closed her eyes and took deep breaths, not moving from where she had fallen in the sand.

*A figure slowly rises from the water along the southern shore of the island. The figure, being Enki, makes his way onto the beach, his body completely dry as he unsubmerges himself and begins looking around. He notices small, silver specks along the light-coloured sand and walks over to inspect them. He kneels down and looks closely. It resemples dried blood, slightly, but it is silver. He has no clue what to make of it and decided to head into the temple to look for Juunikyuu*

***A larger Leviathan slowly starts rising from the cave, seeming to be nothing else then the serpant. As soon as it began rising, Enki's form began appearing atop the creature, looking much as if dripping water was revealing his form from his head downwards. Finally, his entire body was visible as he watches Kana, then smiles and speaks*

Alost as good as the Leviathans themselves... almost. And I don't think I'll mind much...**

***The Leviathan goes foreward a bit and Enki peeks over it's head, staring down at Kana*

Well... I see you're still as cute and jumpy as ever**

**Hawkling, I know everything that happens on this island because of the Leviathans... nothing is "unannounced"

*He hops off of the Leviathan and smiles down at her, then lowers his hand, palm up, to help her stand***

***Enki helps her up gently. When he was sure that she has balance, he bows slightly and kisses the kuckles of her silken hand*

So why have you decided to move into the Leviathan breeding cave...? I doubt the Leviathan's would like that much, personally...**

**Well... as long as it's not mating season, I don't think shey'd mind very much... but if you ever need a warm place to stay, my bed and the extra rooms are always open...

*He reaches a hand out to his side and starts to gently pet the mother Leviathan***

***Enki nods and subconsiously picks up her bag*

So shall I prepare a bed for you, then?**

***Enki had begun to turn and head toward the staircase when he heard her speak. He turns back around and looks at her. He smiles softly, then turns back toward the stairs*

***Enki begins making his way up the stairs*

"Enki... I..." She looked up at him trailing off.

"I... I miss you and Alex..." She wanted to say that she missed her family, but could she really call them her family anymore?

Kana sighed softly. Eisenzahn, her wyvern, a gift from Vahn, had disappeared on her sometime ago. She assumed he had gotten restless and gone off to explore on his own and hoped he would return to her soon. Since he had left her, she had been alone. Having human company felt good. "If you see him... tell him I'm looking for him..."

"I doubt that... I don't spend much time around other people these days..."

Kana slipped past him into the bedroom and looked around. It was still as nice as ever. "The stadium? Did something happen?" Kana looked confused. She hadn't heard the news yet.

Kana's heart literally stopped beating for a second as her pale skin went white as a ghost. "Destroyed? Dead? Missing? Oh gods... Serenity... Vahn..." Had they made it out? Well, there was no doubt that Vahn had made it, her ex was quite capable of surviving almost anything. But her daughter? Was Serenity alright? Kana's body grew weak at the thought that anything might have happened to her child, her legs buckling beneath her as she started to collapse.

"Are you sure? Are you positive?" The poor woman looked as if she were about to cry, her body trembling as the tears welled in her eyes. "I should go... make sure... find them..." She wasn't his wife anymore, but that didn't mean that she didn't care about Vahn. And she sure as hell cared about her daughter.

"I could still go try and track them down... I can't just sit here and do nothing..."

"Then I'll go to Latent and I'll find them... if they're not there, I'll go to the next town... and then the next... until I do find them..."

((This happens about a week after the RP in Feimurgan))

Enki rises up from the ocean onto the sandy beaches of his home on Leviathan Island. Not a footprint left in the sand and only the small tracks of scuttling crabs show any sign of life upon the island. It had gotten so desolate there over the years that he didn't have a large need to return there

I need to start coming back here more often... the last remaining relic of my people and my true home...

Enki signs and pulls his shades off of his head, then closes them in his right hand and looks down at them

I'm tired of hiding...

He then rears back his arm and lets the sunglasses fly out into the ocean, a small "plop" heard as the expensive glasses hit the surface of the water and begin to sink deep into the depths around the small island. With that, Enki turns and heads into his old, almost forgotten home to get a well deserved nap

Enki stands in front of the large, open window in his main chamber. Watching the rain, letting the wind blow his hair, and enjoying the scent of the fresh water upon the ocean, Enki is in a very content state. He sees Hawk walking up the beach, not rushing to help her, not jumping down dramatically, only watching and waiting

Enki closes his eyes, then reopens them after a deep breath. He turns around and smiles gently at the beautiful form before him, feeling his heart skip a couple beats at the sight

Hello, Hawk

Enki walks over to hawk and wraps his arms around her, bringing her against his form, kissing the top of her head lightly

Enki continues to hold her close to him, smiling softly as he embraces her once again

I know, hun. I miss you, too

Enki looks down at her and just stares as her voice is only accented by the sound of the falling rain, his arms embracing her more firmly against his body

Enki sighs softly and just holds her there, keeping her head to his chest as he gently pets her

I love you too, Hawk...

*Enki sits quitely in his library, near the back of the very large room where he keeps his old and rare books. He slowly browsws through them, his finger slowly trailing over books from the 1800's, books written back in Atlantian times. A soft sigh escapes his lips before turning and heading toward the stairs, heading up them tp the long hallway leading to his chambers.

Enki opens the large wooden doors before closing them behind him. He looks around, then toward the window as he hears the leviathans outside begin to rial up about something. He walks to the large, open window in his room and looks down and sees two people he doesn't recognize, but yet, at the same, time, he feels as if he knows them somehow*

Watching the woman and the boy walk up toward the large doors to the entrance of his home, it suddenly dawns on him who this woman is and how he remembes her. Enki doesn't bother wasting time in going down to the doors. His eyes glow a bright blue as icicles start forming on the window under him. The ice starts getting thicker before it forms into steps going down to the beach. He starts walking down them, the ice melting after he has stepped off of them and he turns to face Fae and the boy

Hun, don't you know that you don't have to knock?

Enki looks at the young man and extends his own hand, grasping the boy's in a firm grip

Hello. My name's Enki Leviathan

He then glances to Fae, then back to the boy as his smile fades

He releases the boy's hand and takes a step back, looking him up and down once before looking back to Fae, then to the boy once again

Will you excuse us for a moment, Lucien?

Enki cocks an eyebrow, then steps closer to Fae

I... don't know where to start with this one... My son...? Decker? As in Dante Decker? And how long have I been in the dark about this?

He crosses his arms and looks around for a moment, then back to the young woman in front of him

I was gone for quite some time... I actually just returned only a few weeks ago. I had to get a few things off of my chest, really.

Enki looks over to the boy for a moment, then to Fae with a soft sigh. He takes a step close and embraces her gently, holding her against him

Enki glances over, then releases Fae from his grasp

Well, he could have gotten worse, I suppose... but it would seem that he's inhereted more personality raits from Dante...

Enki pulls off his thick trenchcoat, his long, blue hair, ried back in a loose ponytail, waving about in the wind as if part of the oceans itself. He steps up behind Fae and wraps his coat around her small form, keeping his hands on her shoulders for a moment before releasing them and looking out to the sea himself. His eyes seem to pulse with the washing and waining of the waves as a very small sigh escapes his lips

I guess that's what happens when one become a bad father... though I guess one of my kids turned out all right...

He wraps one arm gently around Fae's small body, looking down at her with a slight smile

Ya, well... no metter how long I've been a "human" there's always gunna be things that go wrong, I suppose...

A tiny gasp escapes Enki's lips as she leans up and kisses him, his other arm wrapping around the woman as he returns the kiss, the leviathan's song seeming to get louder as he does. His eyes glance to the young boy as he slowly pulls away from the distraction

He then smiles softly and kisses her small finger as it presses to his own lips

Enki nods as he takes his coat and wraps his once again around his own body, the long fabric along with his hair dancing along in the wind. Sad to say, this was not the first time Enki had heard this and he doubted it would be the last. He looks at the girl and the boy and smiles softly, extending his hand to Lucien

A pleasure meeting you, Lucien. I hope we can meet again sometime. And if you would do me a favor... tell your father I said "Hi." He and I used to be very close friends... and tell him to take good care of your mother for me.

He then pulls away and bows slightly to the two

A small tear builds up in the corner of Enki's eye, the speck of water trailing down his features and to his chin where it falls from his flesh and freezes in midair. The frozen saltwater falls into the sand at his feet

Thank you, son...

Enki can barely stand to see his old mate this way as he turns and walks back into his temple. On his way in, he pushes a button on a nearby obolisk and a portal slowly opens on the end tip of the beach. Enki's form soon disappears into the large confines of his home

Enki walks back up to his room and walks to the window. He lets out a soft sigh as he sees the portal disappear on the beach. He shakes his head and turns back around, heading down the library

From the time he picked her up, she gently rested her head on hsi chest and closed her eyes, it felt like never befor, his body was warm and she felt safe. Tired from spanding so much time in a place she hated and fromt rying to get out she now had a chance to rest. Soon she could hear the sound of water and she slowly opened her eyes ... it was dark around... so she didn;t see much. Her eyes moved up to see his face, wondering what was that about him, she knew this place, she have been here befor... but why was he so nice to bring her here again. She closed her eeys and decided not to think about it now. As they enered the room she smiled softly

"Its so beautifull like it hs always been" Her voce was soft as she smiled at him. The bed was soft and confortable. she didn;t move alsmost at all, her body was dirty and everything here seemed so nice and clean.

She looked at him adn than at the dress, it was so preety and she was scared to touch it.. she slowly reached out her hand and placed her fingers on the dress

"Its really beautifful ..."

She said siftly and looked at the door thinking a bath would be a good idea... she slowly got up and smiled at him... made a step to stand infront of him and kissed his cheek

"thank you, I think I should take a bath befor I will put this on"

she smiled softly and picked up the dress walking slowly to the door he showed her

She slowly took of her clothes or rather what was left of them... turn the water on and washed herself slowly... it was nice to take a reall bath after such a long time... the soap smelled so nice... water was warm and felt great against her body... It took her a bit as she enjoyed the water and everything, soon she took a nice towell and dried her body off... puting the dress on carefully she opened the door and walked out... Her hair was on her back long movveing gently as she walked... her face now had a nice pink color and the skin was clean and silky ... she looked at him and wasn't sure what to say ...

Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink when he looked at her, she slowly walked over to the bed and stood infront of him just few feet away .. her eyes opened wide

"well the dress fits good I think"

she said and looked down makeing it look better

she looked deeply into his eyes and smiled softly tilting her head and touching her cheek softly .. where he kisses it

"I;m not very used to sleeping, but I willdo as you wish"

she bowed her head abit to him , some of her long hair fall on her shoulders and face... she could hear the sounds of the ocean and smiled to herself it was liek magic like a dream she was always afraid to have

She looked at him not saying anything, her eyes moveing slowly around the room, everything here seemed nice and so different from the things she was used to. She walked slowly to the bed and sat down on it .. pulling her legs up she she layed down, her head reasted on a soft pillow as she smiled softly

"I will sleep here, since you don't mind"

She didn't take much place on the bed but wanted to feel safe close to him.

"this place is wonderfull... its like magic" she whispered softly

She slowly closed her eyes, feelign warm and confortable... she was scared to fall asleep, thinking it might be only a dream and she will wake up in that dark, cold cage again.

"Good night"

She said softly difting away to her own dream land.

THis was the most piecefulll night she had ever had... She didn;t move to much as she wasn't used to it... she cuddled close to him slowly placeing her hand on his chest and her head close to his. She didn't know about it, but she welt good this way and didn't wake up all night long. First time in a long time she smiled while she slept...

Feeling a soft touch in he rhead she slowly woke up not yet opening her eyes. she took abit deeper breath and smiled at herself. She was warm and felt confortable so it wasn;t a dream she thought to herself and slolwy opened her eyes looking up at Enki.

"Morning.."

She said softly and smiled

She closed her eyes returning the soft kiss ad slowly noded her head

"Yes as you can imagine sleeping in a plce I was .... wasn't really the most confortable thing to do"

she looked down and than at him smileing softly, hr eyes were sparkling abit from happyness that she was here again with him. She never thought she would see him again. On one hand she didn't want him to watch her in the condition he found her aain on the other... she was happy he did. She looked around the room and smiled it was so nice... siting up she clsed hereyes listening to the sounds of ocean. She took a deep breath and looked down at him.

"I don't know how will I ever be able to thank you for what you have done for me"

"That would be lovely"

She smiled and kissed his cheek back, softly touching his cheek with her hand and moveinf some hair of his face. The idea of going to town made her happy in one way and abit scared in the other. What if she would meet some of those bad people... but now she was with him so they will not be able to take her back. She tilted her head abit and smiled

She looked at him ads miled thinking for a second

"toast would be good I guess" she smiled and slowly moved to the esge of the bed

"do you need any help with it ?"

She shook her head abit

"No not really, I know how to servthe food, and make coffe or tea.... but not much more" she blushed abit and got up from the bed slowly moveing the covers and makeing it look fres as no one was useing it

She slowly walked out of the room and looked around, she didn;t remeber much from last night when he took her here. Her eyes were open wide not missing anything around.. she looked like a small chld interested in anything

"Well it can't be that hard... I will try my best to do it good"

she smiled at him

She looked carefully everywhere he pointed and around this big place. Thinking he had a nice familly leacing here with him, she smiled abit to that thought, she had only a memory of her own. She didn;t say anything enjoying the sound of his voice, feeling the soft touch of his hand she slowly walked down and stoped on the last step looking around. She couldn't help but let out a sound of surprise and in the same moment amazement.

"So many books... I never thouht I would see something like that"

She slowly steped down and turned around to see all of them.

"I can see why really" She sighted softly and looked around

"this looks really great I;m sure many would like to have half of those books"

"Papa!"

Tellus called out as she stepped through the portal and into the 'house' where her father lived. Her long blue hair was bound back in a braid and swung freely as she bounced up the stairs, her hands on the slick bannister as she called out again.

"Papa! If you don't come out from the library, I'm not going to cook you any dinner while I'm here."A tendril of hair fell into her face and she pushed it back with an impatient hand.

Tellus wasn't particuarly paying attention to her senses, of any kind. Mostly because he was 'always' in the library if he was here. She'd sensed him when she'd first walked in but hadn't paid any mind to the particulars. Sloppy, sure. But this was her first home, so she felt safe here.

"Papa!" She shouted again, as she looked into the library, her green eyes looking around her. Man, Lucian would love this place if he ever saw it. Her crystalline eyes shadowed over by the chance that Lucian would probably always deny his legacy, perhaps the 'trial' being given by the other guardians for his birthday would improve that.

She moved into the alcove that Enki kept of Atlantian texts, her fingers moving against the familiar books. It was here that she had learned her first words of the ancient language, on her papa's knees. It was a shame that they had let so much get between them. But she could correct that...Her hand tightened as it gripped the book before she forced herself calm, not wanting to injury the ancient skin.

Where was he? She knew she had sensed him...

Enki quickly heads up the stairs again with Anthy in tow behind him as he walks up into the library. He glances around a bit as he walks toward the back of the library to the small nook hidden in the back corner. He looks behind him to make sure Anthy was behind him, then walks into the nook, spotting Tellus standing before the Atlantian books. He stands there with the small angelic girl behind him

Tellus....

Tellus turned around and smiled, "Papa!" Running over to him and throwing her arms around his neck, the tiny woman had almost to leap to be able to do that. She nuzzled him happily like a pet would before giving him a resounding kiss on the cheek.

"You're finally home!"

She grinned and looked back at her father, sticking her tongue out as she did so. "Hey, I have..."Puffing up like a pompus person might. "...responbilities so there. " She peered around him at the 'girl' and quirked an eyebrow as she turned back to her father.

"New addition?" She smiled warmly at the girl, offering her a hand. "Hello, I'm Tellus, his daughter. Welcome to the family. Don't worry, we collect people like most collect coins, don't we, papa?"

Enki blushes just a bit as well to his daughter, though not knowing why, she's been in worse situations

Anthy was trapped ina cage in a pet/slave show... I rescued her and let her stay here, sinc it's better then what she's ever had before... the last time I saved her, I let her free... the slave trappers just caught up to her

Anthy cheeks turned just abir more pink as she loked abit down for a moment leting some of her hair cover her cheeks... than she looked back at Enki and a small girl bowing her head abit to her she smiled

"Thank you miss, I will surly remeber that"

Tellus laughed, blushing like a schoolgirl at the ruffling of her hair, as if she was a five year old, and not 17. "Well, you tend to have a god sized appetite, Papa, that's for sure." She started towards the kitchen, waving for both of them to follow her.

"Knowing you, you'd teach her how to make burnt toast." She looked over her shoulder at Anthy and smiled. "If Papa used this kitchen even once before he met my mother, I'd be surprised. Even after she left him, she made sure this place was well stocked. Wouldn't want our resident water god to starve."

Her arms spread wide as she took in the kitchen, "Now this place is home...Alright, Anthy, what would you like to learn how to cook for this plebian Master of yours?"

Enki can't help but laugh a bit at the banter between his daughter and his pet, but frowns a bit at the mention of Faeriun. He shakes off the feelings brought on by the VERY recent visit of her and his - who is appearently his - son. He then leans against a wall and watches, knowing that now that he has Anthy with him, he'll never need to cook again

ANthy looked at the girl and took a deep breath moveing clsoer to try her own french toast ... she bit her lower lip abit concetrating and started everything, trying her best... Her toast were not as good looking as the girls but she was happy with waht she did...

"Well I hope it tasts better then looks" she giggled and looked at the girl and Enki smileing abit

Tellus smiled and nodded. "You just needed to turn it a little sooner. It looks fine." She handed the girl another peice of bread, "Now do a few more and we have breakfast."

Enki smiles softly as he turns and opens the door into the main ballroom, holding it open for the two girls

Shall we eat at one of the main tables, my dears?

He then smiles back to the lovely forms of both his daughter and his pet, glad to have such helpers around... cause Gaea knows he could never cook like Tellus can

Enki walks over to the table and pulls back a chair for Anthy, waiting for her to sit as he smile gently at Tellus

Tellus looked at Enki then pointed him to his seat. "Come on, before the toast gets cold." Her eyes widened for a second and she went to her hip. "Mama wanted me to give you something..." She handed the scroll with the invitation on it to Enki as he sat down.

"It's for you, Junni, Alex and whoever else you want to bring."

Tellus looked at Enki sympathetically, "Papa..." She knew that Enki still had feelings for Fae, and Fae for Enki and she was glad of them, for no child wanted her parents to be at odds. But so much time had passed. She reached over and patted his hand gently.

"They both love you, that's why they would want you there, but if you don't feel you can go..." She didn't say the words, but her message was clear, if he didn't feel like he could go, she'd understand and carry the message.

Tellus nodded slowly, mumbling something about needing to find someone to host Dante's bachelor party and smiled as she picked up a fork and cut into another piece of french toast, slathering it with butter and syrup.

"Mhmm..." She nodded at Anthy to let her know that it tasted good.

Anthy sat there looking down at her plate.. she slowly ate her toast and tried not to hear the conversation. She felt strange being there for some reason. She didn;t know what was going. Her eyes were still fixed on the plate.. trying to think about something else... she slowly looked up at the girl and smiled back at her noding slowly as she looked back down.. she didn;t look at Enki feeling she should be here at the moment anyways.

Enki nods and smiles up at her, watching her go, then leans back in his chair with a soft sigh, glancing over to Anthy

Sorry about that... just nostalgia coming back to kick me in the a**...

Enki looks over at her and reaches out a hand, gently brushing it past her cheeks

You shall learn, my dear pet, that in times like this... I need someone with me

Enki smiles softly and lightly caresses her cheek before leaning in and laying a soft kiss upon it

Ok. Well, you done eating?

Enki smiles up at her and nods slightly

Yes, you should. I'll wait here for you, doll

Enki stands with a large smile, reaching out to take your hand as he looks about the ballroom a bit. He reminds himself to dance with her sometime here

So now what would you like to do, my dear?

Enki takes her hand and ently twirls the girl around before spinning her into his arms

Yes, back in the day, many many moons ago, there were many a ball here, though not as of late

He then twirls her back out with a smile

And of course I'll show you around some more, but there's not much lft of the island to show you

Enki smiles softly and leads her back toward the grand staircase and leads her down, a path leading off to the side. Enki points down it and nods a bit

Down that hall is the guest rooms in case I ever need to have someone stay here for a fort night or so

"YAAARRRR!"

A black frigate cut through the seas, sails full of wind, making a bee-line for the shores of Leviathan Island. The colors flapped at the top of the mast, sporting the skull and crossbones over a black background. Pirates!

"Rape and pillage! Rape and pillage!"

"YAAAARRRRRR!"

"The rum will never be gone again!"

About 10 miles off shore, the ship suddenly shuddered, grinding to a halt.

"Arrgh! We've run aground a reef, methinks!"

"That's no reef..." said young Will Turner ominously.

The frigate all of a sudden snapped in half upon itself and was pulled down under the waves. A few broken planks and torn riggings would float to the surface moments later.

A gentle sea breeze drifted over the island's lush beach carrying a trail of sparkling feathers which tumbled down to earth like a sort of short and concentrated snow storm. As the feather's seemed to fade away back into the nothingness from which they had come a small cat girl could now be seen sat upon the beach, trailing the sand through her fingers whilst purring contently. Flopping back the small girl laid down upon the beach and rolled about with a giggle, enjoying the feeling of the sand upon her skin.

Juuni had come home.

With a mewl Juuni rolled clumsily onto her stomach, splaying her arms out in front of her and waving them over the sand in front of her before pausing, as if someone had pressed the pause button. Her nose twitched and tail swished. Someone was watching...

Her keen eyes fell upon the temple and she caught sight of a familiar figure. She grinned cheekily and jumped to her feet, waving wildly.

"Ohayo Oniisama~~!

Juuni's eyes closed and she pressed up against her brother's hand, purring loudly as she breathed in deeply.

"Hola Alex..."

Opening her eyes she looked up admirably at her brother before reaching up with wiggling fingers towards his sunglasses obviously eager to try them on herself.

Juuni blinked and flinched a little at her brother's reaction. Had she done something wrong? Had she hurt him. Confusion swirled as Alex reached back down to ruffle her hair and she blinked up at him as he questioned her.

"Juunish not do much really... No more than usual for our family..."

The cat girl seemed distracted and perhaps a little embarassed. As Alex continued to ruffle her hair a soft purr resumed and slowly her body seemed to relax again.

Juunikyuu's spirits lifted as she soared up into her brother's arms and snuggled against his cheek, ears flickering at his question. She turned and looked out to sea before answering him.

"Nu, Juunish not seen Papa in a while... I ish only just got home. Been gone a long time..."

Juuni blinked up at Alex before peering down at her chest, tracing a finger over the tiny shadow mark that appeared on the left side of her rib cage.

"Ish no tattoo Oniisama! Ish my shadow mark. Juunikyuu gots it put there to help Fuin"

And of course no further explaination would be offered, Juuni would merely assume that Alex would know exactly what she was talking about.

"Yush... I ish not seen many family members for a long time now... A lot has been happening..."

Juuni seemed to trail off at that point, looking back out to sea and smiling as a Leviathan broke to the surface.

Juuni smiled and nodded before wriggling out of her brothers arms and toddling a little way down the beach to where the surf met the land. As a wave came in she ran towards it giggling, wriggling her toes as the water ran over her bare feet.

A particularly interesting looking shell caught the Neko-jin's attention and she pounced on it through the frothing surf, creating a loud splash before standing up with the shell held above her head triumphantly.

Toddling over the Alex she presented it to him proudly.

"Ta-da~!"

Juuni blinked and stood up on tip-toes, poking at the shell her brother held in his hands.

"What ish it Alex? What ish it?!"

The small neko-jin began to bounce on the balls of her feet with excitement.

((I remember now... Curse you full time work hours and a bad memory! Sorry Enki! begs for forgiveness* ))

Juuni's eyes grew wide and she bounced even harder on the balls of her feet in excitement creating small shuffle marks in the sand.

"Juunish does believe! She does! I wanna see the Matchu Shell! Please Alex, Please~~!"

Her finger tips wriggled more aggressivley as the bouncing continued.

Juuni held her hands up to accept the hand made necklace, handling the item timidly before putting it carefully around her neck. The small neko-jin gazed at the pretty shell for a short while before giving Alex a beaming smile and skipping off across the beach eager to find her father and show off her new found treasure.

A petite hand reached through the gleaming portal for a moment before retreating. Seconds later, Asherah poked her head through the doorway and let her eyes scan the room as she slowly walked herself through. She seemed nervous, she'd never used a portal before, and with what was to come--Ash sighed. Step by step, she began to make her way to the door, and as she reached out, turned the knob, and pushed the exit open quietly.

Closing the door behind her, Asherah started to wander into what looked like the main entrance. Mentally, she took it all in, the sights, the sounds and smell of the ocean. Everything here was Enki's? Amazing. Asherah had lived in some pretty decent places in her lifetime, but none were as familiar and calming as this. Turning her head towards the doorway, Asherah stopped.

A faint smile, a light fluttering in her heart. She knew she didn't have to say a word.

"Hey."

She crooned softly as she slowly moved towards him, her chilly yellow eyes intently focused on his. They never wavered for a moment, they were where they belonged. Safely lost within the pools of his irises. It felt like eons as she finally neared Enki, stopping only inches from his body.

"I looked all over Latent to find your son these past two weeks..."

Asherah smoothed her hands from his stomach up to his chest.

"All the while I thought about you. I got lost, looked in circles, but I knew I had to keep looking..."

Sliding her hands further up, she trickled her fingers over his shoulders, and down his arms where she led him to her hips.

"I found him, and he told me to come here, he said you'd be here. I had to see you again Enki.."

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Asherah's eyes flickered, her breathing shallow.

"I want to be with you too...."

She whispered ever so softly as she tip toed up, pressing her body to his. And finally as she closed her eyes, she brought her lips to his, a deep crimson blush washing over her cheeks. Asherah pulled away, if only for a moment.

"Enki.. I love you..."

She found herself nuzzling his palm when he touched her cheek, her eyes fluttering open. A small tear or two dabbled down her cheeks and she looked back into his eyes.

"Never leave.. Please never leave me again, Enki." She shook her head lightly and sniffled. "I can't have my heart broken anymore."

Asherah brought his hand to her heart, holding it there gingerly with both her hands. The tears were those of happiness, but deep in her heart seeded a fear. The fear of being left behind. The fear of being alone.

"I want to spend the ages with you."

Floating a hand up to his cheek, she gently ran her finger down to his chin. Then skimmed her digits through his hair.

"I want everything to be by your side..."

Taking a surprised sip of air Asherah faintly whimpered as their lips met again. His words were sweet, his words filled her heart happiness. It was almost too much for her to handle. With a sniffle she managed another shaky whisper.

"Promise me..."

She planted a quick, soft kiss, before burying her face into his chest. Taking deep, cleansing breaths, Asherah took in his scent and calmed herself, slowing her heart's pace. Nuzzling gently, she simply enjoyed the feeling of being held. Of being with Enki again.

"Promise..."

Asherah sighed gently as he spoke, a faint smile on her lips. When she felt the tug of his arm, she opened her eyes and followed along side him, naturally. Her gazed bounced about the beach briefly, his words slowly sinking in.

"Are you sure?" Ash's mind reeled for a moment, it couldn't all belong to her now too. It was just too much stuff. A wave a guilt washed over her. "I-I dunno. What if I sneeze of something sacred or something... I'd hate to do something dumb..."

A lovely way to break the romantic meeting, something had to break the ice, why not have it be Asherah's cluelessness.

"So.. What is this place Enki, I mean, besides your home." Leaning, and resting her body up against his, she placed a hand on his chest as she looked up at him.

For once in her life, Asherah felt young. Her eyes widened a bit, taking in the detail of the temple.

"Oh wow, really?"

She wasn't so much concerned about breaking things, just covering them in snot and other disgraceful methods. But no breakable things? Where was the fun in that?

"So they come around here often?" Asherah sounded like a child talking to an astronaught. Sure she was old herself, but nowhere close to being an ancient. "I've heard stories of Atlantis and stuff, and the libraries at my old home had literature on it, but I never thought I'd see something like this."

Secretly, Asherah was a book worm, a fanatical one at that. If she was interested in something, she'd do everythingin her power to find a good book on it and curl up to learn. It was how she learned to manipulate elements as a child.

It was a temperary flare of what she usually was, though the burden of reality would surely come back to knock her on her bottom. There was plenty of things Asherah would have to come to terms with, particualrly with a certain someone. She wasn't looking forward to that day. But for now, for now she'd enjoy herself and shed the skin of depression.

It felt as if her heart began to melt as he kissed her once more. A shiver ran through her body before she pushed herself away from the kiss.

"Do you think we could see it now?" Her nerd was starting to show. "I'd really like to see it..."

Trying her best to remember the lay out, Asherah quietly murmured the locations and names to herself, the kitchen in particular. She was gunna be spending plenty of time in there. And a ballroom? She'd be prancing like an idiot in there too. Finally, the library.

"Sweet mother of god."

Her eyes may have well been the size of entree dishes as her jaw dropped. Separating herself from Enki's grasp, Asherah found her self bristly walking to a book case and feeling the books. Slipping her hand and grabbing onto a volume, Asherah opened it up and stuffed her face in it.

"Ahhhh.... Old book smell..."

Before pushing the book back into it's place, Asherah skimmed the pages for it's information. Apparently, she heard him enough to oblige in his instructions. Acting as his temporary shadow, Ash followed just behind him so she wouldn't get lost in the labyrinth of books. That would be for later. But for now, a silly antsyness built up in her chest as he lead them to their destination. And under her breath, Enki should have been able to hear a soft 'oh boy oh boy oh boy.....'

"..." She froze solid. "That's.. I... Ohh..."

Taking a few steps in front of Enki, Asherah grazed the backs with her amazed eyes. She couldn't believe it, the ancient knowledge of Atlantis at her finger tips, who knows what she would learn. Looking over her shoulder, she beamed at Enki.

"I don't know what to say..."

"Thanks, you snot."

Giggling softly, Asherah happily watched as he picked out a book and opened it up. Her expression suddenly changed from happy to confused. That wasn't English, it looked like pretty lines and dots. Squinting her eyes a bit, she blinked and cocked her head to the side until he spoke.

"That's Atlantean? It's so pretty..." A slow growing grin took over her face. "Can you teach me?"

A sucker for knowing, Asherah delicately took the book out of his hands and looked at the picture with a quizzical pucker of the lips.
