Rage V™ Live! (2010)

Breakaway walls, giant robots, glass bottles secretly made of sugar - if it's in the movies, it's here, complete with special effects and just enough anti-gravity to make that questionably built female fighter all the more photogenic. Though technically not the original set of the runaway hit TV show, the RVMES (Rage V Mobile Edition Set) is often used as a substitute for when the regular set is oblitherated. Which is to say, every other episode.

Terrain

General - The bulk of the set is made up of popular locations from the show - a large, open field, a bustling city center (complete with easily destroyed buildings, a clocktower convenient for running up / down, and breakaway walls), a miniature city set for robot battles, a regular city set for REALLY BIG robot battles, that remote desolate area that's about half a mile outside of the city, and an enchanted but elf-free forest. A replica of the Firebrand tavern sits off on it's own as well, and has been specially created to burn for days without actually burning down. To date it has been set on fire more times than there are episodes and movies of Rage V. There's also a staff hard at work twenty-four-seven to build any set that you like within... probably about the time it takes you to make a post there.

Weapons - Prop weapons, real weapons, fake weapons, weapons, 2x4s, 4x4s, 2x8 Eyes, lead pipes, hash pipes, pipe pipes, PVC pipes, katanas, guns, b*****d swords, really big swords, REALLY big swords, chairs, rocks, bottles, cans, breakaway walls, breakaway buildings, rubble, knives, candelsticks, ropes, wrenches, revolvers, giant robots, a Megazord suit, a Godzilla suit, a ghettoblaster, director's chair, the Director, clothing racks, pens, paper, trailers, cameras, film reels, that replica of Jaws from the Universal Studios theme park, a delorian, big gay wizards, vampires, double vampires, dogs that shoot flaming lasers from their eyes, sharks with laser beams attached to their heads, mutated sea bass, ninjas duct-taped together, and just about anything else you think you can find on a movie set.

Bonus Effects - +7 to Big Movie Moments and Special Effects. Go crazy! This is designed as a direct follow-up to Heaven or Hell 2010, to keep people fighting. It's designed to cater to larger-than-life moments. Smash people through walls! Make nonsensical rants that give your opponents eons to attack you (even though they won't)! Add special effects to mundane attacks! Have fun, dammit!

Suddenly...

"I HAVE BEEN EXPECTING YOU!"

A loud voice boomed across the set. And yet, there was nobody around. Perhaps someone was messing with the sound system. As soon as the voice finished speaking a large smoke bomb set off within the middle of the miniature world. For the tiny model people it would have seemed to be an act of the Gods, but for many viewers it was quite obvious what it was....

It was a lousy special effect.

Whoever was standing in the middle of the smog was now beginning to cough. Waving their arms around it was obvious to see that the infamous punker Izette was standing within the smoke. Her mouth was spread wide with a rather diabolical grin on her face. However, once the smoke had cleared the woman frowned slightly as she bore witness to the man that was standing in front of her within the small model.

“Heeeeeeeeeeey...You aren’t Nipples.” Well that was a given, this man was much fancier than her ARCH NEMESIS Sol. Hell the dude was wearing a shirt. However, he didn’t seem anything short than a rather entertaining fight. With her grin returned the woman began to make her way towards where he was standing.

“But you’ll have to doooooooooooooooooooooooo~” And with that Izette went flying and was going backwards. As she fell downwards to the ground where she could hear the small models shatter beneath her as a small toy car was sent air born.

That was definitely a problem with city miniatures....

There were always small toy cars lying around in the streets for people to step on!

"Hey look. It's Lumpy and Punky."

After a liberal application of speedlines, the camera shifted over to an older man who was standing off to the side, seeming to be throwing and catching the stray car from moments before. "I was looking for the star of the show, but I guess you two will have to do for now." He seemed to be costumed like a poorly designed sentai - in fact, his voice boomed unnaturally loud, as if there was a speaker hidden somewhere nearby augmenting his voice.

Thanks to clever camera shots and slow-motion tricks, his steps forward carried even more impact across the landscape, crushing buildings as he went and pointing towards both other fighters. "I ain't got all day here. Which one of you wants to face..."

"The Dragon..."

"King!"

Fireworks went off in the background, and equally dramatic music played.

He grabbed something next to his mouth, and his voice seemed to return to normal. "No, seriously. You here for the show or what? Gotta make this look good for the audience."

Nope.

Before Izzy had finished her sentence, the Dragon King was already in the air, his cape billowing gracefully in the breeze as his right foot folded into his body and his left extended in a bid to knock a few teeth (and maybe a stud or two) out of the punker's face.

Cue speedlines.

A fight. Agent could do this, even though he hadn't in a really really long time. He snapped the buttons on both his leather gloves undone and began to shake his arms loose and almost hop in place. Some sort of strange warm-up. Then he stopped dead and had to look at the aptly named weirdo in a costume.

"Why..." He sounded exasperated and let out a breath as such, "Why are people so willing to settle to fight me?"

Still, he couldn't help but feel a little hurt when the oddball went straight for the crazy stalker and not for him. I mean he had been challenged first? Shouldn't he at least have a go... Ah screw it. He shook his arms one last time and the gloves fell to the ground. Reaching over he placed his bandaged right hand on a prop water tower and then something weird happened. Half unravelling and half exploding the bandages came off, and agents arm exploded into rapidly stretching into a fleshy-orangy mass of tendrils. They snaked around the girders and the top and with a quick pull the prop came off the ground. The coridinated multitude then flung the tower at the two other fighters, likely to explode into shrapnel and wetness when it hit one.

The mass of tendrils then retraced and coiled back to arm shape. Sure it looked like an arm with all to organic slightly orange flesh, but it was clearly made of tendrils. Bicep and triceps just a few tightly wound tendrils, and fingers just the organic things arranged in the right pattern.

"Can someone tell me what's going on?"

Perhaps a bit desperate sounding from the tentacle man.

SUDDENLY...

Dash walked in, shirtless and wearing a pair of his favorite cash-money silk boxer shorts, completely oblivious to whatever the hell the other people in the room were doing. He held a script in one hand and a wooden paddle in the other.

"Alright, I'm here for my audition! LET'S DO THIS!"

There was always room for a token black man, always!
